Clemson mourns the sudden passing of Quinyotta Pettaway, a beloved former women’s basketball star who died at 33, leaving behind a legacy of grit, leadership, and impact on and off the court. A four-year Tiger from 2010–2014, she averaged 8 points and 6+ rebounds, ranking top-10 in blocks and 11th in rebounds. After a brief pro stint in Germany, she returned home to coach at her high school alma mater, Perquimans County High, where she was just beginning to inspire the next generation.
