A Lakeville man named Abdinasir Mahamed Abshir just got six and a half years in prison for masterminding a $5.4 million fraud scheme disguised as a kids’ meal program. He faked records claiming over 1.6 million meals were served — none of which existed — while funneling cash into his own pockets. Things got even darker when he allegedly tried to bribe a witness during trial by meeting them in a courthouse bathroom.
