- 0:01Speaker 1: On sevent ten w R He's more of the Marx emoja.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Well, CBS News president Barry Wiss putting out a statement saying,
- 0:14Speaker 2: we praised Scott Pelley for all the fine work he's done,
- 0:18Speaker 2: but said his ridiculous behavior, the behavior was unacceptable, and
- 0:23Speaker 2: she said it was the path he chose. He basically
- 0:28Speaker 2: committed career suicide. So then Pelly, Scott Pelly put out
- 0:32Speaker 2: this ridiculous statement about you know, I was in combat
- 0:35Speaker 2: and Iran. I was in combat in Afghanistan, I was
- 0:37Speaker 2: in combat in Iraq. He's being ridiculed all over the
- 0:42Speaker 2: place online. He's just being ridiculed like crazy for that statement.
- 0:46Speaker 2: He apparently went to Afghanistan in Iraq for two seconds
- 0:49Speaker 2: to do a report. People online pointing out carrying a
- 0:53Speaker 2: notebook and a camera is not being in combat and
- 0:58Speaker 2: it's a bit of a lie. Well, here's one guy
- 1:01Speaker 2: calls him, what is this? He's a low rent Brian Williams.
- 1:08Speaker 2: All right, that's a good way to put it. Let's
- 1:10Speaker 2: go to Anthony in Edison. Anthony, how you doing.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Hey, Mark, great job as usual. I just wanted to
- 1:17Speaker 3: ask you real quick in the midst of all or
- 1:18Speaker 3: the other distractions. Hopefully we're still adding on to and
- 1:22Speaker 3: building more of the Southern Wall.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean we have been building wall. Yeah,
- 1:28Speaker 2: I guess they're probably continuing with it, but there's no
- 1:33Speaker 2: urgency right now because apparently all border crossing has stopped.
- 1:38Speaker 2: They do get the news in Mexico and every place
- 1:40Speaker 2: else and they see how we're treating illegals and how
- 1:43Speaker 2: we're locking them up and deporting them. So there's no
- 1:46Speaker 2: border crossing at the moment. It's completely completely stopped. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 2: but we should build that wall for the in case
- 1:52Speaker 2: the Democrats ever get back in, but you know they
- 1:54Speaker 2: can easily tear it down. Let's go to Bob in Montvale. Bob,
- 1:58Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 2:00Speaker 1: I'm doing good, Mark, Thanks for taking my call. You know,
- 2:02Speaker 1: when Bernie Sanders and any Democrat or anybody opens their
- 2:06Speaker 1: mouth about there should be discussions on AI and why
- 2:10Speaker 1: haven't they been. Do we remember who the former czar
- 2:14Speaker 1: was for AI? Harris?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah, the real genius.
- 2:18Speaker 1: How did that go?
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yeah, real tech genius that Yeah, I forgot about that.
- 2:24Speaker 2: That's a good point. Let's go to Don in New
- 2:26Speaker 2: York City. Don. How you doing? Yeah?
- 2:29Speaker 3: A little Mark, I think I know who you were
- 2:31Speaker 3: talking about. W w AM.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Say the first initial. You got it?
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yeah, you got him to a fight with Chips and
- 2:43Speaker 3: Paula I believe.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Oh well, there were a number of fistfights. That was
- 2:46Speaker 2: one famous one.
- 2:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, all right, thanks for calling.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Let's go to uh Joe in Elmwood Park. Joe, how
- 2:57Speaker 2: you doing?
- 2:58Speaker 3: Good morning?
- 2:59Speaker 2: Mark things.
- 3:01Speaker 4: I caught Nick Sureley on Gutfeldt last night. And do
- 3:04Speaker 4: you think Jack Chittarelli would be protesting in front of
- 3:07Speaker 4: Delaney Hall or be helping us out with with our
- 3:10Speaker 4: taxes and our utility bills and stuff like that.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I don't know. You know that Jack, You got to
- 3:15Speaker 2: give up on that. Jack Chittarell a nice guy, but
- 3:17Speaker 2: he's never gonna win anything. We got this knit within now, Yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 2: he's got this. Well, one reason is because of Jack Chitarelly.
- 3:25Speaker 2: You gotta get you got to get better candidates. Forget
- 3:27Speaker 2: that Chitterell. Nice guy, but he's not going to ever
- 3:30Speaker 2: get elected to anything. Uh, you gotta get better candidates. Hey,
- 3:35Speaker 2: we should talk. We got the worst Republican party in
- 3:38Speaker 2: the New York State. We don't even have a Republican party.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I mean, there's something called that, but they don't actually
- 3:42Speaker 2: do anything. They don't come up with anything. Uh, they
- 3:47Speaker 2: didn't come up with Bruce Blakemhan. Bruce Blakeman came up
- 3:49Speaker 2: with Bruce Blakeman. And you know, you go to the
- 3:51Speaker 2: Nassau County Republican Party, that's Joe Cairo. That's strong boy.
- 3:56Speaker 2: That's why they win in NASA kind of got a
- 3:57Speaker 2: strong Republican party. We need one. In New York State
- 4:01Speaker 2: we don't have one. And for some reason, the National
- 4:04Speaker 2: Republican stuff, the RNC, they don't come in here and
- 4:07Speaker 2: do anything to build a real Republican party here. I
- 4:10Speaker 2: guess they just kind of right off New York. Let's
- 4:12Speaker 2: go to lou and Queens Lou.
- 4:14Speaker 3: How you doing, hey, Mark, good speaking to you. I
- 4:18Speaker 3: you know, in and out of the hospital.
- 4:19Speaker 2: So really, what's the matter, what's wrong with you?
- 4:24Speaker 3: I'm serious? Stuff? No, I'm sorry, but nobody's brought up
- 4:28Speaker 3: the disaster that the car manufacturers that jumped in with
- 4:33Speaker 3: both feet making EV vehicles and now we're taking a
- 4:37Speaker 3: seventy billion dollar loss along with changing their marketing plans,
- 4:43Speaker 3: manufacturing and the jobs at a loss as a result
- 4:46Speaker 3: of them having to switch back to the more sensible
- 4:50Speaker 3: hybrids and gasoline injury.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Good point.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Anybody's talking about what a disaster is.
- 4:55Speaker 2: It's costing everybody of fortune. Good point. Well, thanks for
- 4:59Speaker 2: I want you to feel better, good luck. I hope
- 5:00Speaker 2: everything works out. Thanks for calling. Yet, you know if
- 5:04Speaker 2: your insurance, your car insurance went way up over the
- 5:06Speaker 2: last few years. When you get that car insurance, fie O,
- 5:09Speaker 2: why is that so much? Because of the evs. I
- 5:13Speaker 2: know you don't drive an EV it doesn't matter. Electric
- 5:16Speaker 2: vehicles cost a fortune to fix. So the insurance companies
- 5:20Speaker 2: when they have to fix an electric field, that's a fortune.
- 5:23Speaker 2: So to cover that, they had to raise everybody's insurance cost.
- 5:27Speaker 2: You know, you're getting a little fender bender and it
- 5:29Speaker 2: screws up your fender and then you know, over the
- 5:31Speaker 2: front of the car you find out, wow, three thousand
- 5:33Speaker 2: dollars to fix it. It's crazy. But if it's an
- 5:36Speaker 2: electric vehicle, it's like thirty thousand to fix it. It
- 5:39Speaker 2: costs a fortune to fix these electric cars. So to
- 5:42Speaker 2: cover that, insurance companies had to raise the price of
- 5:45Speaker 2: everybody's car insurance. Everybody, And he's right. The car manufacturers
- 5:51Speaker 2: took like a seventy billion dollar loss on these evs.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I got to raise the price of all the cars
- 5:56Speaker 2: to pay that off, so that green Skime has risen
- 6:00Speaker 2: the bills for everybody. When we come back, we'll talk
- 6:04Speaker 2: to the great columnist, the best selling author, An Colter.
- 6:09Speaker 2: We'll talk to her next on seven ten wor
