- 3:37SPEAKER_02: I'm just going by what they see.
- 3:40SPEAKER_04: All right, so we got the pros and the cons.
- 3:41SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna let you know a little bit more about the pros and then I'm gonna go with the cons.
- 3:45SPEAKER_04: What's up?
- 3:45SPEAKER_04: But you know what?
- 3:46SPEAKER_04: Since the cons are very small, I'm gonna get that away first.
- 3:49SPEAKER_04: All right, they should say there is no wire audio option, there's no wired nowhere detection sensor.
- 3:55SPEAKER_04: There's no Apple H2 chip and fairly pricey.
- 3:59SPEAKER_04: Now that's the cons.

- 4:34SPEAKER_04: Top tier voice calling performance, more natural sounding transparency mode.
- 4:39SPEAKER_04: Uh beautiful, beautiful, more Android-friendly than Apple pods.
- 4:47SPEAKER_04: Of course, it's more, you know, with head tracking, or you're switching between Apple devices and always on Siri.
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: I'll I'll tell you one thing that caught my attention is the sweat proof, um, but also the ear cuff things because you can switch them out.
- 5:01SPEAKER_02: Because sometimes you got you buy these things and they don't cuff your ear.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: Um, and I've always wanted a bigger, like uh muffle sound.
- 5:08SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 5:08SPEAKER_02: Um, but dang, they they they really coming for it, huh?
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: Yep.

- 5:13SPEAKER_02: And you're looking only at 350.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: 350 dollars?
- 5:15SPEAKER_04: $350.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: I don't know about that now.
- 5:18SPEAKER_04: Uh, what do you mean?
- 5:19SPEAKER_04: Dang.
- 5:19SPEAKER_04: That's cheap.
- 5:20SPEAKER_04: That's cheap.
- 5:21SPEAKER_04: That's cheap, bro.
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: All right, Mr.
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: Uh Electronics Guy, you know what you're talking about, bro.
- 5:25SPEAKER_04: If you guys have it, you guys got it.
- 5:27SPEAKER_04: I mean, if you spend$1,200 on the fucking phone, you can spend fucking$350 on the pair of Apple.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: Facts.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: Or for some beat headphones.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: The black one looks fire.
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: I I like the black one and the and the gray one.
- 5:39SPEAKER_02: I don't know if I'll do the light blue or the pink one.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: Um, but hey, the beat beats they're coming back at it, right?
- 5:45SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 5:45SPEAKER_04: I mean, they staying behind after Dr.

- 5:48SPEAKER_04: I mean, other than that, you gotta make that money, bro.
- 5:50SPEAKER_04: It's got to.
- 5:51SPEAKER_04: He is got to.
- 5:53SPEAKER_04: But yeah.

- 6:10SPEAKER_02: That that actually kind of looks fire for that that that color combination.
- 6:13SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 6:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 6:14SPEAKER_04: And then for you ladies out there, the pink, and then you have that neon, crazy ass neon color there.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's a little much for me.
- 6:23SPEAKER_04: But that's something Raymond likes, right?
- 6:26SPEAKER_04: Shirt is almost like it.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: Um what you got today?
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: Summer 1980?
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:31SPEAKER_02: Uh classic, huh?
- 6:32SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 6:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, move you and your dad shirts.
- 6:34SPEAKER_02: Keep bringing them out, player.
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: Keep doing your thing.
- 6:37SPEAKER_03: I'm the king of dad shirts.
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: Oh my goodness.
- 6:39SPEAKER_03: I might got Darwin beat this time, though.
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: This time?
- 6:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: This season?
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 6:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because Darwin's coming in from work.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: That's you're getting them set up.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: Um, so what else you got, D?
- 6:50SPEAKER_04: All right, man.
- 6:50SPEAKER_04: So I don't know if you guys know about Halo.
- 6:52SPEAKER_04: Halo is no more gonna be under Xbox publishing.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: It was only like exclusive to Xbox, right?
- 6:58SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because they were under um Xbox division partner.
- 7:02SPEAKER_04: Oh, okay, I got you.
- 7:03SPEAKER_04: Uh, so Microsoft is going on, is Microsoft is laying out, laying people off.
- 7:08SPEAKER_04: So Halo to move under Call of Duty publisher as Xbox announced layoffs.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 7:16SPEAKER_04: Microsoft is cutting 268 jobs across his Xbox divisions, sweeping the studio underneath the chair, underneath the the bathrooms.
- 7:27SPEAKER_04: If you guys are hanging out, if you're outside smoking, you're gonna sweep that up also too.
- 7:32SPEAKER_02: Don't even come back.
- 7:36SPEAKER_04: Um so the cuts for Halo Studios over the first uh party developers and management census functions with Xbox according to announcements posted this morning by my guy Matt Booty.
- 7:48SPEAKER_04: That's crazy.
- 7:49SPEAKER_04: Xbox Chief contact officers company is now about 75% finished with the restructions announced since early this year.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: So they're only 75% done.
- 8:02SPEAKER_04: Because other people haven't gotten to work, they're probably on vacation.
- 8:05SPEAKER_04: Thanks.
- 8:06SPEAKER_04: So when they come back to work, they have a big humongous surprise.
- 8:08SPEAKER_04: I'm amazed they're not firing people on their day all.
- 8:11SPEAKER_02: That would suck though.
- 8:12SPEAKER_02: Well, I I wouldn't be surprised if they'd done it before, but um, but I guess the underlining story here is that uh the game Halo is getting purchased by uh uh Call of Duty people, the people that make Call of Duty.
- 8:24SPEAKER_02: How do you feel about that, Raymond?
- 8:26SPEAKER_03: Uh that is just um it's kind of a sad world for Xbox now because I had made a comment a couple months ago, like, were they still in business?
- 8:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like this is what brought Xbox.
- 8:37SPEAKER_03: This is like this was their staple.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: Correct, correct.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: And now they're just dumping all the chips.
- 8:42SPEAKER_03: That's that's wild.
- 8:43SPEAKER_03: Like Xbox is officially dead now.
- 8:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I would say so.
- 8:46SPEAKER_03: I mean, it was already dead, but this is just yeah, the nail in the coffin.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: Especially because it was one of those exclusive games that made you buy that console, and now that game is not even over there no more.
- 8:55SPEAKER_02: Why even get the console?
- 8:56SPEAKER_02: Correct.
- 8:57SPEAKER_02: And and they gotta keep up with PS5 and PS6.
- 8:59SPEAKER_02: I don't know when D is gonna report it, but they're gonna be coming out soon, PS7, PS8, and then you have uh what's that game?
- 9:06SPEAKER_02: Game on um GTA.
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: That's only on PlayStation, right?
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: They didn't even make that on Xbox, right?
- 9:12SPEAKER_04: Uh I gotta I think they did make it on Xbox.
- 9:14SPEAKER_04: Oh, I apologize.
- 9:15SPEAKER_04: I apologize.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: I thought that was another exclusive uh branding.
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: But I guess what it's just coming down to is the death of Xbox, huh?
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's terrible.
- 9:24SPEAKER_04: If if I recall them, it's not gonna be on Xbox.
- 9:27SPEAKER_04: Damn it.
- 9:28SPEAKER_04: Grand Theft Photo is currently is not currently on Xbox Game Pass at all.
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 9:34SPEAKER_02: Did did was that an acquisition that Microsoft bought Xbox or was that something they built from the ground up?
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: If you remember.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: What's that?
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: Xbox.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: If it was something that they acquired like another company, or was it something they build?
- 9:46SPEAKER_02: I think they built it.
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: They built it internally, yeah.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: Well, then that means it's coming to an end though.
- 9:52SPEAKER_03: I'm not mad at them.
- 9:53SPEAKER_03: They just they realize that they cannot beat Sony.
- 9:57SPEAKER_03: Like they're just bowing out, and I respect that.
- 10:00SPEAKER_03: Like there's no Sony's just Sony's like at We need competition in the market, bro.
- 10:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but you just gotta sometimes know when to give it up.
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: I respect it.
- 10:11SPEAKER_03: I'm just saying.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: Player, you just gotta know when to give it up.
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: Just give it up.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: Well, they done spinning bread on it, so unfortunately, those people that are uh getting laid off, sorry to hear that.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Um, but definitely I'm looking forward to you know the next version of Halo.
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: I know my brother loves that game also, so he'll be happy to hear it still still being created.
- 10:29SPEAKER_04: It's not on five, but you can uh get it.
- 10:32SPEAKER_04: Um if you already own the digital copy, you can put it onto the game as far as what the uh vising.
- 10:38SPEAKER_02: Interesting, interesting.
- 10:39SPEAKER_04: But it's not free.
- 10:41SPEAKER_04: It's not free.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: 59?
- 10:42SPEAKER_04: Yeah, GT5 is uh is leaving Game Pass, which means Grand Theft Auto officially left Xbox Game Pass and PC Pass on April 15, 2026.
- 10:53SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 10:54SPEAKER_02: Well, you know who's winning that game because the PlayStation.
- 10:57SPEAKER_02: Give PlayStation a big round of applause.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: They're still holding it down.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: All right, my guy.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: All right, D, anything else on your list, player?
- 11:05SPEAKER_02: That's all I got.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: All right, my guy.
- 11:07SPEAKER_02: Always appreciate your insights.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: Uh technology.
- 11:11SPEAKER_02: We got next up my guy, Raymond.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: Don't call him Ray Ray.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: Uh, what's going on, player?
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: Gentlemen, so got a light, another light convo for you guys.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: Every time you always start off, it's a light convo, and then when we when we replay it, it's half of the episode.
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: Like, all right.
- 11:26SPEAKER_02: I'm not, I'm not, I'm just playing with you.
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: I enjoy it.
- 11:29SPEAKER_03: You know, we're in football season right now.
- 11:30SPEAKER_03: Last week we had a football-centric topic, right, with Juski, you know, with the skit and all that.
- 11:35SPEAKER_03: That said he went overboard, you know, over the line with that.
- 11:39SPEAKER_03: And um so this weekend we're gonna keep it sports again, or today.
- 11:44SPEAKER_03: Last week, um, I watched uh LSU College football game with some of my friends that came over.
- 11:50SPEAKER_03: Great, great game.
- 11:51SPEAKER_03: LSU is playing Ole Miss.
- 11:53SPEAKER_03: It was the game of the week, it was awesome.
- 11:55SPEAKER_03: It lived up to the hype.
- 11:57SPEAKER_03: And today I wanted to talk about the LSU football program.
- 12:00SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you guys have heard about them being threatened and being kicked out of the SEC.
- 12:05SPEAKER_03: Have you guys heard about this?
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: No, not yet.
- 12:07SPEAKER_03: So LSU is uh threatening to be kicked out of the SEC, which is the conference they're in.
- 12:12SPEAKER_03: And basically, I wanted to kind of talk to you guys about this and get your opinion on it.
- 12:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: So LSU has a new coach, which is Lane Kiffin.
- 12:21SPEAKER_03: He came from Ole Miss.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: Um, he left there last year, went to LSU, and obviously he lost to his old team on Saturday.
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: But he has a controversy going on where he has uh he's being threatened to be kicked out, and this actually went all the way to the Supreme Court.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: He has two players on the team that went to the NFL, signed contracts, they didn't make the team, they got cut, and then they came back to college.
- 12:48SPEAKER_03: They're like, okay, you know what?
- 12:49SPEAKER_03: I want to come back to college since I didn't make the team.
- 12:52SPEAKER_03: So LSU, SEC said, told Lynn Kiffin, if you bring these guys back, we're gonna kick you out.
- 12:59SPEAKER_03: This thing went all the way up to the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Court sided with LSU as like, no, you gotta let these players come back on the team.
- 13:07SPEAKER_03: But the SEC, who controls all the teams, was like, if you do this, we're gonna kick you out.
- 13:12SPEAKER_03: And then Lane Kiffin kind of folded, and that's just their rule.
- 13:17SPEAKER_03: Like, if a player goes and signs a contract, you can't come back to college.
- 13:22SPEAKER_03: But I wanted to get your guys' opinion on that.
- 13:23SPEAKER_03: Do you guys think this is fair or what?
- 13:25SPEAKER_03: What is your take on it?
- 13:26SPEAKER_03: These guys went to the NFL, they signed the contract, they didn't make the team.
- 13:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, then they were like, Oh, you know what?
- 13:31SPEAKER_03: I want to come back to college.
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so but the SEC was like, no, you can't do that.
- 13:36SPEAKER_03: So I wanted to get your because it they changed the rules a couple years ago to where you could do five years in NFL.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: So these guys in NFL.
- 13:43SPEAKER_03: You can do five years in uh college.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: There we go.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: So these guys was like, hey, you know, we technically didn't do the five years, so they came running back.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: So I wanted to get your opinion on that.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: Do you think that's fair or what?
- 13:54SPEAKER_02: I mean, I I'll jump in first.
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: Um do they still get NIL deals?
- 14:01SPEAKER_03: I mean, I don't know, but they were coming back on the team.
- 14:06SPEAKER_02: If I I'll put it like this if I'm a player, I'm utilizing every opportunity for me to get a check.
- 14:12SPEAKER_02: If they say the NFL I can't get a check, and then college football is still giving me a check through the NIL, I'm gonna do it.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: But me personally, I feel like it's like when you sign in the NFL or you're going to the NFL, it's like going pro.
- 14:26SPEAKER_02: You can't go back.
- 14:27SPEAKER_03: Correct.
- 14:27SPEAKER_02: So it's like, hey, I'm going pro, so I'm only going to be in the pro category, and I can't go back to the minor leagues.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: Well, actually, I don't even know.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: Maybe that's something to know about baseball.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: If you go and play Major League Baseball, can I mean they can push you back to the minor leagues, but they won't push you back to college.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: But I'm what I'm really getting to, and we'll let Dee jump in on that, but um I am thinking like, yo, once you go pro, you can't go back.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: I think the NIL has unfortunately created this type of scenario because there was no reason for them to come back unless they actually are gonna make some bread.
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: Because I'm a player and I want to make bread, I was like, hey, why not just give them opportunity?
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: But I understand what the SEC is doing.
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: I don't think it's uh uh an offense for them to kick LSU out of the SEC unless they're trying to make a stand and so that nobody else is do it, but they should have a rule that's written that explicitly calls it out.
- 15:19SPEAKER_02: Um, I just think it's like wherever the opportunity is, you know, these young men, if they still have time left for college football, they're trying to go and play it.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: I I don't like it.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: I I personally don't like it.
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: Because once you go to the NFL, you sign, you pro, go, right?
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: You don't come back type stuff.
- 15:35SPEAKER_02: So any feedback on that, um Darwin?
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: Even though if you don't make the team, you think it's no, you didn't make the team, that's you didn't make the team, but you can't go back.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 15:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: Well, they're still going to class and stuff like that.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: No, but they're out of a job though.
- 15:49SPEAKER_03: Like let's just say they went to the NFL.
- 15:51SPEAKER_03: The NFL cut these guys, so they didn't make the team, so they were like, let me come back to college.
- 15:55SPEAKER_03: They gotta keep trying out.
- 15:57SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: Not going back to college.
- 15:59SPEAKER_02: Because then it's not fair.
- 16:01SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: I mean, you're playing against a pro like a boxer, a pro boxer versus an amateur.
- 16:06SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 16:06SPEAKER_02: I mean, there's no competition.
- 16:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, it's a little bit different, but I hear what you're saying.
- 16:12SPEAKER_02: LSU's trying to go compete for championships and stuff like that.
- 16:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, getting some college players or some NFL players to come back and play college football.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: But they didn't make the team, Bobby.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: They got cut.
- 16:21SPEAKER_02: I get it, but but their level of playing is gonna be different and then college.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: But they didn't make the NFL team.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: But now they're pro.
- 16:28SPEAKER_03: How are they pro when they didn't even know?
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: They sign, they they sign when you uh hey, I'm going to audition for this role.
- 16:35SPEAKER_02: You sign and I'm pro now.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: You might not make the roster, but you're considered a pro.
- 16:40SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 16:40SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 16:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: Well, I was gonna ask D, can you actually go from Major League Baseball back to the minors?
- 16:47SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 16:48SPEAKER_02: You so would you consider going back to that minors?
- 16:50SPEAKER_02: Going to AAA.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: Would you say that's kind of like uh college, or is that still different?
- 16:54SPEAKER_04: So you're still considered a pro as far as as far as baseball.
- 16:59SPEAKER_04: You if let's say I'm a pro baseball player, uh, I get hurt.
- 17:04SPEAKER_04: Um, they don't trust me yet to be in the pro, so they send me back to the triple A uh to play baseball, uh, to see how my game is, see how I produce, see how I go.
- 17:16SPEAKER_04: And then once if they say, okay, you're ready to come back to professional, you have you'll be back within 10 days.
- 17:24SPEAKER_04: Gotcha.
- 17:25SPEAKER_04: Uh, and then 10 days you're able to go back to your normal team.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: But that's not like going back to college, man.
- 17:30SPEAKER_02: Not like going back to college.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:32SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 17:32SPEAKER_03: Stupid question.
- 17:33SPEAKER_03: They get paid in the AAA and all that?
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 17:36SPEAKER_02: I mean, basketball's the same thing.
- 17:38SPEAKER_02: I guess the G League is kind of like the Yeah, look at Bronny.
- 17:41SPEAKER_02: I mean, I mean, what more can you fucking say about the guy?
- 17:44SPEAKER_02: Well, Bronny's not going all the way back to USC.
- 17:46SPEAKER_03: That's different, though.
- 17:47SPEAKER_03: He got drafted.
- 17:48SPEAKER_03: What do you mean?
- 17:49SPEAKER_03: Those those guys.
- 17:50SPEAKER_03: No, but I'm saying, like, so you're saying they're undrafted.
- 17:54SPEAKER_03: Yes, they got cut.
- 17:54SPEAKER_02: And they went to the Columbine, did the t did the thing.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: They didn't even make the practice team.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: They're out of a job.
- 18:01SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 18:01SPEAKER_02: And college is the only option they have.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: I still don't think you can go back, bro.
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 18:08SPEAKER_03: What do you think about it?
- 18:08SPEAKER_03: Do you think they can go back?
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: You think that's fair?
- 18:11SPEAKER_04: Um, I'm gonna agree to disagree around.
- 18:14SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna see you mind, let you know my point of view.
- 18:17SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 18:18SPEAKER_04: I'm playing pro.
- 18:19SPEAKER_04: I mean, I'm playing college.
- 18:21SPEAKER_04: I get drafted.
- 18:22SPEAKER_04: Do they get did they get drafted?
- 18:24SPEAKER_04: They did not get drafted.
- 18:25SPEAKER_04: They did not get drafted.
- 18:26SPEAKER_04: So technically they stood in college.
- 18:29SPEAKER_04: Well, okay.
- 18:30SPEAKER_04: But they signed a contract with my that's that's the issue right there.
- 18:34SPEAKER_04: You're signing a contract to you know to go pro.
- 18:41SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 18:41SPEAKER_04: Right?
- 18:42SPEAKER_04: But you're not pro yet.
- 18:45SPEAKER_04: That's that's that's the controversy right here.
- 18:47SPEAKER_04: So you're going to you're going to go ahead and go on pro.
- 18:51SPEAKER_04: You're gonna see it's like uh I call it a tryout, if that makes sense.
- 18:57SPEAKER_04: So let's say you let's say this, I could put it in baseball.
- 19:00SPEAKER_04: Okay, let's say you're you're you're a top prospect.
- 19:05SPEAKER_04: I see you in college, you look good, right?
- 19:08SPEAKER_04: And I'm I'm the meds organization, I say, hey, I want you to try out for my team.
- 19:13SPEAKER_04: I think you got potential.
- 19:14SPEAKER_04: Here's a contract ten days.
- 19:18SPEAKER_04: I'm just giving a number out.
- 19:20SPEAKER_04: Ten days.
- 19:20SPEAKER_04: We see if you're good or not.
- 19:24SPEAKER_04: Is he pro or is he not pro?
- 19:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but what about when you declare?
- 19:29SPEAKER_03: You are saying, I am done with college.
- 19:31SPEAKER_03: You can't go back.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: When you declare, even for basketball, football, that's it.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: Your name is in the hat.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: You can't go back.
- 19:38SPEAKER_03: That's why they do that.
- 19:39SPEAKER_03: That's why it's your job to get a scout or whatever to tell you, yes, you are good enough, Raymond, to go and put your name in the hat.
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: If you're not good enough, stay your ass in college.
- 19:48SPEAKER_03: Like, how is that?
- 19:50SPEAKER_03: That ain't fair, bro.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: No, I hear what you're saying, but did they finish college?
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: They didn't.
- 19:55SPEAKER_02: They put their name in the hat and they got So they probably did so they so isn't it the rule that you gotta do at least one year in college?
- 20:01SPEAKER_03: That's for basketball.
- 20:01SPEAKER_03: That's for we can get into that.
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: Okay, that's different.
- 20:04SPEAKER_02: So let's say that they did two years in college, and then they say, Hey, I'm gonna go pro.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: And then they try to go into the draft, they didn't get drafted.
- 20:12SPEAKER_02: They try to go to the Columbine and get pulled up from a team, they sign a contract saying I'm going pro.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: That means that they're done with the college experience.
- 20:22SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 20:22SPEAKER_04: I don't think so on my end.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: You don't think so?
- 20:25SPEAKER_02: Hmm.
- 20:25SPEAKER_02: You think they should still be able to go back?
- 20:27SPEAKER_04: I think they should be.
- 20:28SPEAKER_04: If you didn't finish your college, because at the end of the day, I look at it this way school's my second option.
- 20:35SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 20:35SPEAKER_04: If I can't make a pro, I'm gonna have to lay a bike in school.
- 20:39SPEAKER_03: So you're saying Bronny should be able to go back then?
- 20:41SPEAKER_03: He didn't finish college.
- 20:42SPEAKER_04: He needs to fucking go back.
- 20:44SPEAKER_04: That's a different story.
- 20:46SPEAKER_04: Okay, that's what I said a long time ago.
- 20:49SPEAKER_04: I at least two or three years.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 20:52SPEAKER_03: So he should be able to go back.
- 20:56SPEAKER_03: Okay, I'm just that's a great one.
- 20:58SPEAKER_03: That's a horrible example.
- 21:00SPEAKER_03: But he signed the contract, he's been in NFL.
- 21:03SPEAKER_03: So should he be able to go back to college?
- 21:05SPEAKER_03: They haven't.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: So you you're you're disputing if they actually officially become a part of the NFL or if them announcing as a as being a pro, that means that they're they're how college is.
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: If you announce, you're done.
- 21:17SPEAKER_03: You can't go back.
- 21:18SPEAKER_02: Like so then they can't come back, bro.
- 21:20SPEAKER_03: Even if they even if they did two years and they got three years left on the book, as soon as they announce But a Supreme Court said you can come back, but it's the SEC is like, yeah, we don't care what the Supreme Court said.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: We're gonna because SEC is figuring out what's gonna happen.
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 21:34SPEAKER_02: Is more people are gonna be like, yo, I want to go pro maybe after one year or two years that we're debating right now, and more of them are actually gonna go try to get into the NFL, and if that doesn't pan out, then they're all gonna come back.
- 21:47SPEAKER_03: But that's just the SEC is the one that does that.
- 21:50SPEAKER_03: That's their own rules.
- 21:51SPEAKER_02: I what do you mean?
- 21:52SPEAKER_02: Not not allow them to come back?
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 21:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I don't think any uh adult uh uh pro player.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: Should go back to college.
- 22:01SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 22:02SPEAKER_03: What about the guy for oh, that's different then.
- 22:04SPEAKER_03: That's a bad example.
- 22:05SPEAKER_03: Never mind.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: There was one from last year.
- 22:07SPEAKER_02: Who won the national championship?
- 22:09SPEAKER_02: Uh uh it was an Indiana, right?
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Indiana.
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: The quarterback felt in that situation, didn't he?
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: Like he had gone and then he came back or something like that?
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: Or he was like an old or or there was the whole team was like more older players.
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, their players were older.
- 22:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:21SPEAKER_03: See, stuff like that I don't like.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but you guys for the University of Miami, you had that player that just stopped playing.
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: He was like 31 years old.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, I heard about him.
- 22:30SPEAKER_02: He was like six seasons.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: Six or seven seasons.
- 22:33SPEAKER_02: Seven years in the yeah, he was like he had a kid and everything.
- 22:35SPEAKER_02: But but he did fall during a COVID time, which they didn't actually have a real season.
- 22:40SPEAKER_03: That was a grown-ass man on your team playing like two years ago or last year.
- 22:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, actually.
- 22:44SPEAKER_03: I think he's still on the roster.
- 22:45SPEAKER_04: Here's the general rule.
- 22:46SPEAKER_04: What's up?
- 22:47SPEAKER_04: Once a player officially declares for the NFL and does not withdraw in time, they permanently forfeit their remaining NCAA college eligibility.
- 22:59SPEAKER_04: Withdraw deadlines.
- 23:00SPEAKER_04: Players can retain their college eligibility only if they officially withdraw their names from the draft consideration by the NCAA specific annual deadline, typically in late spring, early summer.
- 23:14SPEAKER_04: Recent league shifts here's where it gets tricky.
- 23:18SPEAKER_04: While receiving courts ruling in the unique roster situation led under the undrafted or NFL cut training camp players can explore returning to college under extra eligibility exemptions, major conferences, including Big Ten, S S E, S E C, and Big 12, have strictly rules banning players who sign professional contracts and participating in the NFL from joining their conference roster.
- 23:46SPEAKER_04: Furthermore, the NFL rules says that any player returning to college mid-season becomes ineligible to play in the NFL for the current season and will enter the league as an undrafted free agent later on.
- 23:59SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: So certain conferences are blocking this.
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: Yes, three of them.
- 24:03SPEAKER_02: But the rules is that if your name goes on the board for the draft, that means you have forfeited your college career.
- 24:12SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 24:13SPEAKER_02: And if you uh by the deadline, take your name off the list because I'm actually going to college, they say that's okay from the NFL's perspective, but there are some divisions like the SEC that says nah, as soon as you say you're on the board, you're on the board.
- 24:26SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I I I rather that.
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: Okay because what what I really want to happen is is I want the the the player to be more intentional about, hey, are they gonna stay or are they gonna go?
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: Not to go and then if I don't get it, I come back.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: I mean my organization will be like waiting for them to decide if they're gonna come back or not.
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: I'm already doing recruiting, I'm down here, down there, filling up spots.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: Like, um, I don't know.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: I I just I just think it's I think NIL causes this even more, um, but I just think it causes too much confusion.
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: So if you you put your name on the board, that means you're ready to go.
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 24:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: All right, fellas.
- 25:00SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: You remember how you said it was a short conversation?
- 25:05SPEAKER_02: That was short and light.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: All right, Raven, what's what's going on?
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: What you got next on the list?
- 25:10SPEAKER_03: Oh, you guys know I love watching shows and movies and all that.
- 25:13SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna drop a I'm gonna drop a gem in here for you guys here.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: Um, have you guys let them drop it first, players?
- 25:19SPEAKER_03: Jeez.
- 25:20SPEAKER_03: Have you guys heard of uh Netflix dash codes?
- 25:23SPEAKER_03: Netflix dash codes.
- 25:25SPEAKER_03: No, Netflix dash codes.
- 25:27SPEAKER_03: So I stumbled upon this doing some research.
- 25:29SPEAKER_03: So what this site is.
- 25:30SPEAKER_02: Oh, this is a site, not the not the movie.
- 25:32SPEAKER_03: No, not the movie.
- 25:33SPEAKER_03: This is a site that kind of shows you all of the hidden, hidden menus that Netflix has.
- 25:40SPEAKER_03: So Netflix has a lot of different categories of hidden shows and hidden movies that you just can't see on the main menu.
- 25:48SPEAKER_03: Like you go into your Netflix account, you don't want to know what to watch.
- 25:51SPEAKER_03: Like Netflix just shows you what they want you to see on the main menu.
- 25:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's the algorithm.
- 25:56SPEAKER_03: They're all the algorithm, but this right here is like a hidden gem that is inside of Netflix, it's not unlocking new movies or new shows, it's just showing you the hidden categories of like you can just specifically look for adventure or action, and you click on the code and it's gonna go directly to your Netflix account.
- 26:15SPEAKER_03: You sign in and it's gonna show you the categories for those.
- 26:18SPEAKER_03: Oh so it's like a hidden thing that's inside of Netflix, it's not unlocking nothing new, it's just that it's so big that Netflix can't show you all of that stuff in the main menu.
- 26:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so this is something else for you guys.
- 26:29SPEAKER_03: So, like if you're scrolling through and you got something specific you want to look for, click on one of these codes.
- 26:34SPEAKER_03: It's gonna force you to sign into your Netflix account and it's gonna show you that category of stuff.
- 26:38SPEAKER_03: So, yeah.
- 26:39SPEAKER_03: Oh, so I gotta do it through here.
- 26:40SPEAKER_04: I can't do it through the Netflix.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: You logging into Netflix and then putting in that code?
- 26:45SPEAKER_03: Because it's gonna it's gonna take you to your Netflix account.
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: So it's gonna take you to your Netflix account, you sign in, and it's gonna show you that category that you picked directly.
- 26:54SPEAKER_04: Well, where's the porno section here?
- 26:55SPEAKER_04: I don't see it.
- 26:56SPEAKER_03: Hey man, look for me.
- 26:59SPEAKER_03: I'm looking for a sexual nudity in there.
- 27:01SPEAKER_03: I see they got LGBTQ, but you know, that's you know, yeah, they got five.
- 27:05SPEAKER_03: Five of them.
- 27:07SPEAKER_03: But no porno, honestly.
- 27:08SPEAKER_03: No porno.
- 27:09SPEAKER_03: Netflix is coming out with that, hidden after dark.
- 27:11SPEAKER_03: I read about that a few months ago.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 27:13SPEAKER_03: They would make some money off of it.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: They'll charge extra for it.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so um this the the cool feature about this, which actually I didn't know that they do this, is that they're they're like doing more like secondary categorying, right?
- 27:24SPEAKER_02: So you have like I'm looking at the comedy one, right?
- 27:27SPEAKER_02: You usually just go to comedy and then you try to do that.
- 27:29SPEAKER_02: But if I want dark comedy, foreign comedy, horror comedy, last night, late night comedy, yeah, political comedy, romantic comedy, yeah, you can get into that second sub like uh categorization of uh the type of movies.
- 27:44SPEAKER_02: Um, they should definitely provide a way for us to do this in the app.
- 27:47SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: That's the only sucky thing is you gotta do this through this browser and stuff like that.
- 27:51SPEAKER_03: So yeah, but it's just so much, bro.
- 27:53SPEAKER_03: How could like you'd be scrolling forever?
- 27:57SPEAKER_03: So this is just another way for you to like, you know, go directly to a specific category that you want.
- 28:02SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I thought it was cool and wanted to share it with you guys and the audience.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: Awesome, awesome.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: All right, Raymond, what's your uh this is a utility site.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: We thought we were gonna talk about the movie review, but uh, this is the utility site, and it's called Netflix-code, c O D E S dot com.
- 28:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, um, for your secondary subcategorization of your um Netflix um preferences or genres actually.
- 28:28SPEAKER_03: Give it to Marlene so she can look for those crime dramas.
- 28:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so she would love this.
- 28:32SPEAKER_03: Like dark hidden that she wants to watch, or whatever that case is.
- 28:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I gotta get I gotta be careful with her because she knows how to get away with everything.
- 28:40SPEAKER_02: That's funny.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: Uh shout out to my love.
- 28:43SPEAKER_02: What's up, what's up, what's up?
- 28:44SPEAKER_03: So that's that.
- 28:45SPEAKER_03: Alright, and then the next thing is uh watched this movie a couple days ago with my son.
- 28:50SPEAKER_03: It just came out on streaming.
- 28:52SPEAKER_03: Been wanting to watch this movie ever since it came out.
- 28:54SPEAKER_03: I've heard nothing but good things about it.
- 28:56SPEAKER_03: Was curious if you guys have seen it at all.
- 28:58SPEAKER_03: It's got 85% of Rotten Tomatoes, it's got like 78% from the audience.
- 29:03SPEAKER_03: Uh The End of Oak Street.
- 29:04SPEAKER_03: Have you guys heard about this?
- 29:05SPEAKER_03: End of Oak Street.
- 29:06SPEAKER_03: No, I haven't.
- 29:08SPEAKER_03: It's a fun movie.
- 29:10SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna like overdo this.
- 29:12SPEAKER_03: Me and my son watched it.
- 29:13SPEAKER_03: It's a fun, good movie.
- 29:15SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, think of Jurassic Park, but a little bit lower level.
- 29:21SPEAKER_03: Gory?
- 29:22SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna give it away.
- 29:23SPEAKER_03: It's just a fun movie.
- 29:24SPEAKER_03: Okay, so it's just all around good movie.
- 29:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'm not trying to give it away, but it's like Jurassic Park.
- 29:29SPEAKER_03: So where'd you watch it at?
- 29:31SPEAKER_03: Uh watched it on Plex.
- 29:32SPEAKER_03: Okay, now I know where you watch it at.
- 29:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it just came out on streaming uh D Hustle.
- 29:36SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you heard about it or if you've seen this.
- 29:38SPEAKER_03: No, I have.
- 29:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's I'm not trying to oversell it and say it's like the best.
- 29:42SPEAKER_03: It's like Jurassic Park.
- 29:43SPEAKER_03: It doesn't top Drax Park.
- 29:44SPEAKER_03: It does not top Jurassic Park, but it's a fun, good movie, and you know, like if you ain't got nothing to do, I thought it was fun, it was cool, man.
- 29:52SPEAKER_03: So yeah, like I said, it's got 85% on Rotten Tomatoes by the audience and the critics.
- 29:56SPEAKER_03: And it's uh it's a scary movie, it's about dinosaurs.
- 30:00SPEAKER_04: Oh so I'll I'll put I'll put your your opinion to the test.
- 30:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so like I said, it's a fun movie, man.
- 30:07SPEAKER_03: Me and my son, check it out.
- 30:08SPEAKER_03: My son enjoyed it.
- 30:09SPEAKER_03: I liked it, man.
- 30:10SPEAKER_03: It's cool, man.
- 30:11SPEAKER_03: It's like, you know, so yeah, it was good.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: I mean, it is rated PG 13, so it'll slow down.
- 30:15SPEAKER_03: What?
- 30:16SPEAKER_03: Jurassic is rated PG 13 as well.
- 30:18SPEAKER_03: So don't go there.
- 30:19SPEAKER_03: Jurassic is rated PG 13 as well.
- 30:22SPEAKER_03: That's hilarious.
- 30:23SPEAKER_03: But yeah, man, it's cool, man.
- 30:24SPEAKER_03: So yeah.
- 30:25SPEAKER_02: Well, what is it called again?
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: It's called The End of Oak Street.
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: The End of Oak Street.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: It's cool.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: Street.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry.
- 30:31SPEAKER_02: I said Street.
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: That's a cool movie, man.
- 30:33SPEAKER_03: So yeah.
- 30:33SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 30:34SPEAKER_02: Well, big shout out to Justin uh to get you to watch that.
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, actually, it was me that got him to watch that.
- 30:39SPEAKER_02: So actually, dad forced me to watch that.
- 30:44SPEAKER_03: But like if you want your allowance, dang, you better watch this movie.
- 30:48SPEAKER_02: I gotta bring something to the podcast.
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: So if I'm gonna suffer, you're suffering with me.
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: No worries.
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: Well, big shout-outs to you, Raymond.
- 30:55SPEAKER_02: Really appreciate the uh insights and nuggets that you bring to the table.
- 30:58SPEAKER_02: Always great conversation.
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: And yeah, if they they some NFL players, they don't need to be going back to college football, bro.
- 31:05SPEAKER_02: That's not even fair, man.
- 31:06SPEAKER_03: Okay, what about if an intern goes and they can't get a job, Bobby?
- 31:09SPEAKER_03: Wouldn't you take the intern back?
- 31:10SPEAKER_03: Don't you think this is the same thing?
- 31:12SPEAKER_03: No, bro.
- 31:12SPEAKER_02: That's not it, bro.
- 31:13SPEAKER_03: Because you you said you're going pro, bro.
- 31:15SPEAKER_03: Okay, what if the intern says, I'm going pro, Bobby?
- 31:18SPEAKER_03: I got a job and the job lays me off.
- 31:19SPEAKER_03: Can I come back and be an interesting?
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: No, you didn't make it, man.
- 31:22SPEAKER_02: You didn't take the internal back.
- 31:24SPEAKER_02: I don't think those apples and oranges uh are the same, bro.
- 31:27SPEAKER_02: Okay, all right.
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: Like this is more um athletic ability and not trying to downplay the interns that have, you know, uh intellectual understanding of things, but there's different, like you when you're ready, you you say you're ready and you go, and if you don't get it, you you look for other opportunities.
- 31:43SPEAKER_02: There's other teams, there's other things, yeah, or you need to just prepare for next season and plan B, right?
- 31:49SPEAKER_02: I mean, if they're if they were saying, yo, actually, I'm going back to school and I'm just gonna go get my education, all right.
- 31:54SPEAKER_02: Let's go.
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: Get your education, and then next season you're gonna try out for the NFL again, right?
- 31:59SPEAKER_02: I mean, you unfortunately can't play, right, but you can still practice and keep keep your your skills up and ready for the next season to try to try out, but nah, you're not going back to college, bro.
- 32:09SPEAKER_02: Okay, as there's 15, 16-year-olds going on the field.
- 32:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's why when you're talking about that UM uh player, I I I was actually shocked.
- 32:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:18SPEAKER_02: Um, but then they kind of soften it because of COVID time and they start to do the numbers, and I was like, ah, I mean, this is the University of Miami, so I'm biased.
- 32:26SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 32:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 32:27SPEAKER_02: Anyways.
- 32:28SPEAKER_02: We still on there?
- 32:29SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've already left it.
- 32:30SPEAKER_00: I already left it.
- 32:31SPEAKER_02: Well, kill my music, player.
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: Like you, you're the one that's supposed to be driving us forward.
- 32:36SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 32:37SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 32:38SPEAKER_02: There you go.
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: All right, fellas.
- 32:41SPEAKER_02: Uh, we are officially moving on to the tech insights section here.
- 32:45SPEAKER_02: Um, and I got this really cool conversation that I think it kind of relates to everything that we've been talking about for the past three weeks about AI.
- 32:54SPEAKER_02: Um, episode 101, we had talked about um the first hack that happened on OpenAI and they hacked into Hugging Faces.
- 33:02SPEAKER_02: We broke that down a little bit.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: Then the next week I talked about um Terminator, like people are actually thinking that we've literally built Skynet and we got a 10% chance that they might, you know, turn all these bullets and guns on us.
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: Um, and this week I'm actually gonna be talking about the AI labs like OpenAI, Anthropic, and XAI has come to some type of agreement that they want to slow it down.
- 33:27SPEAKER_02: They said, hey, um, the last few weeks has been crazy.
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: All of this technology is doing all kinds of stuff.
- 33:33SPEAKER_02: They even start to check their systems to see if they those systems had done some hacking, and they actually say, Yeah, our systems have been doing some of the similar things.
- 33:41SPEAKER_02: Even Google reported that their system was doing some similar, nefarious, you know, hacking stuff.
- 33:47SPEAKER_02: Um, but the problem that we run into, and this is kind of the debate that I throw out there, is um, here in the United States, uh, we have these you know frontier models, the frontier labs, like OpenAI, Anthropics, and XAI, including Google, all of four of them are saying, hey, we're gonna we're considering the pause.
- 34:09SPEAKER_02: Um, and that's kind of like the United States representation of AI.
- 34:14SPEAKER_02: But uh there's another comp country um that's very heavy in AI called China, and I read this article today that China's dismisses AI shutdown call and blasts the United States technologists for leaders for trying to get them to slow down.
- 34:33SPEAKER_02: Um, because for them, they're not slowing down, they're actually speeding up.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: And my question to y'all is like, um, are y'all concerned at all about China getting ahead?
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: Um, like the United States government is in terms of you know developing AI?
- 34:49SPEAKER_02: Um, and if y'all don't have an opinion about it, I definitely have something to add to it.
- 34:52SPEAKER_02: But do y'all have any concerns at all?
- 34:55SPEAKER_02: Let's go with Raymond first.
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: Raymond, don't call him Ray Ray.
- 34:58SPEAKER_02: He is eyes of wonder.
- 35:00SPEAKER_03: I'm not concerned because China is always on the edge.
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: You know, you always see the stuff they come out with beforehand before anybody.
- 35:08SPEAKER_03: Like supposedly they got something that cures some type of cancer.
- 35:12SPEAKER_03: They always have the latest tech, and whether it's real or not, they seem to always be on the forefront of doing stuff.
- 35:19SPEAKER_03: So not concerned whether like they're gonna wait for us or not.
- 35:24SPEAKER_03: China is gonna be like ahead of the game.
- 35:26SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and they're their own peoples, right?
- 35:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, how are you gonna tell them to like not do something?
- 35:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, that's just yeah, no.
- 35:33SPEAKER_03: So not concerned.
- 35:34SPEAKER_02: How about you, uh D?
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: You don't know how fast you know how fast they're moving on the tech case scene over there.
- 35:39SPEAKER_02: Would you say that that's something for them to slow down on this AI stuff?
- 35:43SPEAKER_04: Slow down who?
- 35:47SPEAKER_04: I'm getting really tired of people trying to slow down China.
- 35:50SPEAKER_04: China's way ahead in advance more than us.
- 35:53SPEAKER_04: Let's get that out.
- 35:54SPEAKER_04: There is cars out there that you have not seen here that United States don't want to bring here because it will make other Americans feel bad about the product.
- 36:06SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's true.
- 36:07SPEAKER_04: Yeah there are great, crazy technology.
- 36:11SPEAKER_04: I I feel like if we go to China or to wherever, over there for a month, we will come with so much in advance, so much technology, so much information that we come over here, people will laugh at us, but then they will remember, oh shit, yeah, tech hustles did it first.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 36:32SPEAKER_02: That that that's that's how I'm feeling too, because um they are like so far ahead of us.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: Look at the phone products, look at the phone, uh the cars that D Hustle's uh are always bringing up.
- 36:45SPEAKER_02: Like, what was that?
- 36:46SPEAKER_02: B BYD is one of their brands, something like that.
- 36:48SPEAKER_02: They they don't even want to bring it to the states because they about to shut down GM and Ford, you know, just by putting them on the road.
- 36:55SPEAKER_02: Is I don't think there's no way to really hold back China from what they're gonna do.
- 36:59SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think it's kind of like um, you know how when you have somebody that thinks that like they're the the leader of the crew and they say, hey, nobody's gonna move forward, and then somebody doesn't listen to is is one of those kind of leader type situations that's happening right now, and the United States is uh trying to show muscle, but I don't think China's gonna be doing it.
- 37:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 37:25SPEAKER_02: Um, and also the other part of this coin is and this is kind of the thing that um impresses me about China's move, is China is actually open sourcing their models.
- 37:37SPEAKER_02: So let's say that China makes a model that's better than everything over here, right?
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: Um, China says, hey world, y'all can download it if you want to and run it yourself.
- 37:47SPEAKER_02: Here in the States, whenever OpenAI, Anthropic, or XAI uh releases their latest model, it's just like Microsoft.
- 37:55SPEAKER_02: You remember how Microsoft is?
- 37:56SPEAKER_02: The only way for you to get mic access to Microsoft is you had to go pay a Microsoft license.
- 38:00SPEAKER_02: So they're basically making sure that you have to pay to use their product.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: But if you want something open source and free, you can go get the China version.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think the message behind that is that they are gonna innovate transparently out in public for the world to see.
- 38:18SPEAKER_02: So they're not gonna slow down, but we keep running into this headbutting situation where now the United States um as is setting a standard, and then I'm actually thinking the United States is gonna cut us off from accessing Chinese models, which I really think would be a fucked up situation.
- 38:35SPEAKER_02: Basically say, hey, uh we don't mess with things that China make no more.
- 38:39SPEAKER_02: Uh, you can't download these models anymore.
- 38:42SPEAKER_04: Well, that's the same thing.
- 38:43SPEAKER_04: I don't I I don't know if you guys remember how TikTok wanted to be cut off.
- 38:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 38:51SPEAKER_04: Um, over because being over from China, and uh I guess Trump has some issues with it.
- 38:56SPEAKER_04: I don't know what what was the consensus was uh about that, but for some odd reason they left it.
- 39:04SPEAKER_04: But if you imagine how he wanted to cut TikTok because it was a China product, can you imagine anything else?
- 39:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: That's not a lie though.
- 39:14SPEAKER_02: Um because I mean i it's messed up though.
- 39:18SPEAKER_02: It's messed up.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: Um I don't think that it's gonna um prevent us, but it's gonna be more laws and regulations around it.
- 39:27SPEAKER_02: Um so I guess what I'm getting to, and this is a quick insight, is is like um this is why we have to pay attention to what's going on in the world, not just here locally in the United States, but all around the world on these innovative um leaps and bounds that we're making with this technology called AI.
- 39:44SPEAKER_02: Um, and definitely to be very cautious, and this is not to get any like politics in it, but be cautious of what we only hear from our side of the table, um, because it could have some um underlying intentions to restrict us from something that um has more of a capitalist uh mindset, like hey, you can only get this from us and you can only pay us, where over there on the other side of the street you can get it for free and you don't really have to pay anybody no more, um, is them cutting that off is like, dang, how how are you not doing this for the people rather than uh doing it for your pockets um and also shareholders and stuff like that?
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: So I'm I'm still keeping an eye on it.
- 40:24SPEAKER_02: I'll make sure I keep everybody updated here on the channel.
- 40:27SPEAKER_02: Um, and definitely if you are interested in AI, learning AI skills, technology, drop a comment inside the comment below.
- 40:33SPEAKER_02: Um let us know what your thoughts are in terms of what you think uh China's gonna do.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: Um and yeah, this this race is on.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: Um I'm I'm here just in awe of of what the debates continue to be around.
- 40:46SPEAKER_02: Um, but definitely I'm in awe in the technology.
- 40:49SPEAKER_02: So whatever whatever you are are are not doing, make sure you do some type of AI, something with AI, because this is our future computer.
- 40:58SPEAKER_02: Um, and yeah, they're they're really battling it out in these streets.
- 41:00SPEAKER_02: So keep your ears on them, all right.
- 41:07SPEAKER_02: Well, thank y'all so much for uh the social side of uh tech insights.
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: It's always uh whenever I turn that knob, I always get extra techie.
- 41:15SPEAKER_02: But uh, this is a chance for us to switch it up a little bit because I think we have uh the Tech Hustle Sports Center next.
- 41:20SPEAKER_02: What's going on, Dean?
- 41:35SPEAKER_02: Live, live, live, live, live, live.
- 41:39SPEAKER_04: What's going on, ladies and gentlemen?
- 41:40SPEAKER_04: Hope everybody is of one wonderful time uh in the tech hustle with my man the nuggets are and then our lovely uh aka the man with the AI, Mr.

- 41:53SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you already know.
- 41:54SPEAKER_04: You guys enjoying all the information here and hopefully you guys just putting around to your loved ones and for they can be well versed.

- 43:45SPEAKER_04: What about Hanley?
- 43:46SPEAKER_04: Hanley don't want none of that smoke because he got knocked out.
- 43:48SPEAKER_04: He might happen again.
- 43:50SPEAKER_04: Tank, I don't know if he's still in jail, but maybe he came out.
- 43:53SPEAKER_04: Hopefully he figured out what's going on.
- 43:55SPEAKER_04: But he's gonna need money once he comes out.
- 43:57SPEAKER_04: Shakar's ready.
- 43:58SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 43:59SPEAKER_04: Let me see what.
