[SPEAKER_00]: No, I want you to come up with us 10 minutes and then I'm out.
• 0:13
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're a heavy jacket because it's got that Pittsburgh stealer, Monday night football.
• 0:18
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just taking a little jacket because I'm not gonna be out there very long.
• 0:21
  [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
• 0:22
  [SPEAKER_00]: All right.
• 0:22
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm gonna do my thing and I'm gonna.
• 0:24
[SPEAKER_00]: Don't get old guys sick.
• 0:25
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll come up with you like you with it with the hot chocolate in the heaters.
• 0:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
• 0:30
  [SPEAKER_00]: Coffee rolling man.
• 0:31
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
• 0:32
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so football Friday, man.
• 0:34
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you what, football Thursday night, a little bit bomb drop.
• 0:39
[SPEAKER_00]: The Miami Dolphins looking for a coach search, looking for GM search.
• 0:44
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if the coach search is one of this, but Troy Acumins name pops up is somebody that's going to help the Miami Dolphins do their GM search.
• 0:54
[SPEAKER_00]: And my first thought was,
• 0:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: What about damn marino?
• 0:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 0:57
[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you got the greatest footbook.
• 1:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Even though I ain't even John L. Wade, even Peyton Manning says best quarterback he's ever seen, damn marino.
• 1:07
[SPEAKER_00]: And you've got him sitting in your living room.
• 1:08
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Dan, Dan, he's going to be involved with his processor.
• 1:13
[SPEAKER_01]: hope and that he'll be involved as they got to try to figure this elbow and we got to find a GM.
• 1:21
[SPEAKER_01]: They're all going to get a chance to go through this interview process and then from there once a GM gets here, you got to figure out what you're going to do.
• 1:30
[SPEAKER_00]: They had coach Mike McGann.
• 1:32
[SPEAKER_00]: This search for the GM has got to go quick.
• 1:35
[SPEAKER_00]: You come into the all-star games.
• 1:36
[SPEAKER_00]: You're coming into all these senior bulls.
• 1:39
[SPEAKER_00]: All these moments and you've got to have that GM lockers.
• 1:43
[SPEAKER_00]: This has got to be a week long search.
• 1:46
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how it can take forever.
• 1:47
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how it can take forever.
• 1:49
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm whether it's assistant GM on somebody else's team that's at great success or it's interim your interim general manager you have right now.
• 1:58
[SPEAKER_00]: uh... they need to make a decision because both i got to tell you whatever they're doing right now is not working as a working a long long time and i tell you what whatever general manager they're higher he's gonna step into a mud hole there they're there you're gonna step into mud hole and right now you've got your three quarter backs you've got you've got uh... yours uh... you got jack wilson you got to uh... and oh whoa hold on a minute
• 2:22
[SPEAKER_00]: Cam Miller, they signed just Cam Miller, he played a North Dakota state.
• 2:29
[SPEAKER_00]: He came from the radio.
• 2:30
[SPEAKER_00]: That's the by the radio.
• 2:31
[SPEAKER_00]: Six round guy, and where does he fit in the picture now?
• 2:35
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and this is gonna be a juggling thing that the GM's gonna have to manage and not to mention there, they may be, may not be a coach search involving that.
• 2:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, the thing we do know Mike McDaniel, he's not going to be on that 53-man roster, unless Mike McDaniel really liked him for the future, which I guess Mike feels pretty good about his chances of getting that head coaching job.
• 2:56
[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I read into that a little bit.
• 2:58
  [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, they're looking.
• 3:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, man, we got to get this quarterback thing figured out, I mean, till we get this franchise quarterback, we can talk about this guy and he reminds me of that guy and this guy and but we have not found that franchise quarterback and the biggest disappointment on this team this year by far.
• 3:17
[SPEAKER_01]: was what happened with to a tongue of Ilowah.
• 3:20
[SPEAKER_01]: He stayed healthy and he just got worse.
• 3:22
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, God worse.
• 3:23
[SPEAKER_00]: And then I wear he goes, you know, God only knows because I have no idea.
• 3:29
[SPEAKER_00]: But the one thing is when you, we want to look at a positive for this team and we're going to see some of this on Sunday in New England.
• 3:37
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, these rookies that we've had a really good class of rookies that's starting out, you know, very shaky, but all of a sudden you're starting to see the impact of all the snaps that they've played on you're like, Theo, we's you've got more of a rookie free trade or you've got all these guys and you've got their all planned you've got all the draft choices they're played a ton of downs.
• 4:00
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that, that, that should give whoever the higher arc he's going to be next year, a pretty good base, but again, having said that, that base isn't even account much unless you find that right court of that.
• 4:11
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but, but to your point, so it was this low start for a lot of these rookies and, and they had to play them and they did and some of them did come around till late in the year and start playing and, and I give them a lot of credit to keep your confidence when you're not having success.
• 4:26
[SPEAKER_01]: They got a lot of guys, but both the big jumps should be from year one to year two.
• 4:33
[SPEAKER_01]: Now they played those snaps you talked about, and Bo, we just, we got to upgrade the overall.
• 4:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And I got to tell you, I thought these guys got coached up, I thought most these guys played as well as they could.
• 4:45
[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of guys ended up having pretty good seasons out of this.
• 4:49
[SPEAKER_01]: but you still need to upgrade the roster.
• 4:51
[SPEAKER_00]: We know now, we're not going to have more impactful players.
• 4:55
[SPEAKER_00]: So, if I'm good, cross-knoth fight my list.
• 4:59
[SPEAKER_00]: One of my lists is, one thing on my list is, let's find it.
• 5:02
[SPEAKER_00]: Let's find a receiver that's like 6-3, you know, 6-4, one of those guys, a wide receiver that can jump and give you some, you know, somebody that you can throw down corner routes, getting the ends on red zone guys, stuff like that.
• 5:15
[SPEAKER_00]: That's one thing that's on my list.
• 5:17
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you another one might might be right now and I know it's going to happen with Bradley Chubber's playing his ass right now.
• 5:23
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, probably is really, hey, listen man, but when for all this money and what they're going to own and all that stuff because Bradley Chubber really has played well.
• 5:31
[SPEAKER_01]: But might it might be another task rusher.
• 5:34
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it might be another task rusher.
• 5:36
[SPEAKER_01]: Because the guy in the other side, chop his not chop that up the way we are hoping this year.
• 5:41
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, in fact, I think he's got, I don't know how many he's got.
• 5:43
[SPEAKER_00]: Chop robbing some of the facts and probably probably two and a half for those came from Bradley Chuck pressures, right?
• 5:49
[SPEAKER_01]: No, by the way, Bradley Chuck got a lot of guy sacks because he flushed quarterbacks right into a lot of other guys this year.
• 5:56
[SPEAKER_00]: So Joe, so let's talk about the game to the game on Sunday.
• 6:00
[SPEAKER_00]: Newman Patriots have something to play for.
• 6:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
• 6:02
[SPEAKER_00]: They have something to do with the number one seed.
• 6:06
[SPEAKER_00]: So they're going to play and their guys are going to play.
• 6:09
[SPEAKER_00]: What do you expect out of what do you expect to see out of our team?
• 6:11
[SPEAKER_00]: I think from the character that I've seen out of this team certainly last week.
• 6:16
[SPEAKER_00]: When they came in and they, you know, they took it to Tampa Bay.
• 6:19
[SPEAKER_00]: They play really well, man.
• 6:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 6:20
  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think we're all.
• 6:22
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're going to see a carbon cup.
• 6:24
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not talking about the the results, but I think we're going to see a carbon copy of guys that play because they play because they're good players and they love to play football and they're committed to this football team now looking over their shoulders to see where I'm going to be next year.
• 6:38
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we've learned a lot about the character of these guys.
• 6:41
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad you didn't say that play hard.
• 6:43
[SPEAKER_01]: I think everybody tries to play hard.
• 6:45
[SPEAKER_01]: I just, we've had a lot of guys make a lot of plays.
• 6:48
[SPEAKER_01]: We're getting in now, special teams.
• 6:50
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just good as we've had here in a long, long time with the kicking game as well as a return game.
• 6:56
[SPEAKER_01]: That's really gotten cleaned up.
• 6:57
[SPEAKER_01]: But I like both sides of the football.
• 7:00
[SPEAKER_01]: I say this all the time.
• 7:01
[SPEAKER_01]: I love this coaching staff overall.
• 7:03
[SPEAKER_01]: I think we've got some really good coaching that have coach guys up.
• 7:06
[SPEAKER_01]: The schemes have been great on both sides of the football.
• 7:10
  [SPEAKER_01]: Again, bow.
• 7:11
[SPEAKER_01]: I expect it's going to be a competitive game.
• 7:13
  [SPEAKER_01]: I do.
• 7:14
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the this Patriots seems going to blow them out.
• 7:17
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
• 7:18
  [SPEAKER_01]: But.
• 7:19
[SPEAKER_01]: We still need to upgrade this thing in a bigger picture of where we go forward and it starts at the quarterback position.
• 7:25
  [SPEAKER_00]: So it's a new year.
• 7:27
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to give you one of these, uh, Rougalus from Villa Italia bakery.
• 7:31
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to take one and we're going to toast the new year.
• 7:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if I've ever done this.
• 7:34
[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to go look at that.
• 7:35
[SPEAKER_01]: Me and alcohol are coffee.
• 7:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
• 7:41
  [SPEAKER_00]: See you next time.
• 7:43
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's good, boy.
• 7:44
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's really good.
