- 0:00Speaker 1: Finally there are some decent people left in this world.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Oh good, I just read about this beautiful couple. They've
- 0:08Speaker 1: been in a relationship for almost four years and they
- 0:12Speaker 1: just got engaged. That's a good amount of time to
- 0:14Speaker 1: wait totally.
- 0:15Speaker 2: What do we know their ages?
- 0:17Speaker 1: Like?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Are they in their twenties?
- 0:18Speaker 1: Other twenty one year old? So you know, high school sweethearts? Okay,
- 0:21Speaker 1: obviously you know yeah, I mean you could get married,
- 0:24Speaker 1: I guess, but you could probably what people do at
- 0:27Speaker 1: least see it through college, which they've done. Caitlin and
- 0:30Speaker 1: Drew just got engaged. But they're so devoted to each other.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Man over that four year span, when do you think about,
- 0:37Speaker 1: you know, your young relationships and the things you did
- 0:40Speaker 1: and the things you didn't do.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Uh.
- 0:43Speaker 1: This couple literally had not even kissed. Wow, had not
- 0:49Speaker 1: even shared a kiss together. They were saving it for
- 0:52Speaker 1: their wedding day. Isn't that that so wholesome? Uh?
- 0:57Speaker 2: They are even a peck, not even a pack? What
- 1:01Speaker 2: is it a butterfly kiss?
- 1:03Speaker 1: I don't know if now do butterfly kiss is qualifying?
- 1:06Speaker 1: Because how do those go?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Those are the little nose ones? You grab your little
- 1:11Speaker 2: nose together?
- 1:12Speaker 1: See that that's interesting because there's nothing too sexual about that.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Nothing A butterfly kiss has never led to anything more.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I don't think.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Well, no, that's kind of like a kid thing. Yeah. Wow.
- 1:26Speaker 1: So there they are Christians, they say, But they do
- 1:28Speaker 1: stress that it's not like they've been brainwashed. It's not
- 1:31Speaker 1: some toxic purity culture that has them waiting.
- 1:35Speaker 2: This is just something they wanted to do.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Well. They just both wanted to experience all of the
- 1:38Speaker 1: life's first together as husband and wife, and that includes
- 1:42Speaker 1: having a kiss. So that tells me that they probably
- 1:43Speaker 1: hadn't kissed anyone before either, Like not even a I
- 1:46Speaker 1: think I was smooching in second grade.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I mean you had the one like that, the chasing
- 1:51Speaker 2: around the playground. There was always the kid who was
- 1:53Speaker 2: trying to smooth you.
- 1:54Speaker 1: I guess maybe not me. It's an awkward child. Did
- 2:00Speaker 1: you have that problem? No, did you have boys just
- 2:02Speaker 1: running after you? But then there was always spin the bottle.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I mean those were all classics.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Something about the bus ride, like why was it always
- 2:12Speaker 2: like the back of the bus, Like it was always something.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Ridiculous, just like I couldn't even share I mean, you know,
- 2:19Speaker 1: the activity going I mean really horrific.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Stuff, the campfires, bonfires, get yeah, and these two probably
- 2:28Speaker 2: didn't hang out with you and high and as small
- 2:30Speaker 2: town kids in rural Minnesota.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I think we are.
- 2:34Speaker 2: But I appreciate this. I love it, I honestly though,
- 2:38Speaker 2: because there is something about a first kiss.
- 2:41Speaker 1: With a person for sure, or just in general. Again,
- 2:43Speaker 1: we were very young, so it's kind of it'd be
- 2:45Speaker 1: one thing to experience it as an adult.
- 2:47Speaker 2: But also let's go back to your wedding day and
- 2:50Speaker 2: a lot of times people practice their kiss of what
- 2:54Speaker 2: it's gonna look you know what I mean for your
- 2:55Speaker 2: wedding cause yes, it's kind of like, okay, are we
- 2:59Speaker 2: are we going in? I mean, you're in the moments,
- 3:01Speaker 2: so no matter how much you want to think that
- 3:04Speaker 2: it's gonna go this way or whatever. So is there
- 3:07Speaker 2: first kiss? Are you envisioning them just going like just
- 3:09Speaker 2: just a I don't know, or is it gonna be
- 3:12Speaker 2: a oh man, baby, this is our first time. I'm saying,
- 3:15Speaker 2: baby a lot, this is kind you are?
- 3:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 3:17Speaker 2: Is he gonna grab her head make out session?
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't know. S I have my doubts that they
- 3:21Speaker 1: would be even capable of that, because again, they haven't
- 3:23Speaker 1: kissed anybody before. So it's like, you gotta work your way.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Yeah you've seen movies and TV shows. That's true in
- 3:28Speaker 1: other films, but still you gotta get some practice. I don't.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I don't want that to be a public thing. I
- 3:33Speaker 1: want to So I think you just start with a
- 3:34Speaker 1: good peck and then you go into the reception hall
- 3:37Speaker 1: and find a closet or something. Practice the rest in
- 3:41Speaker 1: the morning. No, Amanda stills.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Let's see, let's see. I don't even know how to
- 3:47Speaker 2: wrap my head around this, but it makes total sense.
- 3:51Speaker 2: So remember my gosh, not last April, the April before that,
- 3:56Speaker 2: when Jamie Fox just mysteriously got sick and nobody really
- 4:00Speaker 2: had a whole lot of information.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, we talked a lot about it, and
- 4:04Speaker 1: there was never anymore. Like we just kept speculating.
- 4:07Speaker 2: So there was rumors from COVID to a stroke to
- 4:09Speaker 2: like he almost died, and nobody was really upfront about anything. Well,
- 4:15Speaker 2: he has this new Netflix special it's called what Happened.
- 4:18Speaker 2: What Happened Was, And there's this guy, his name is
- 4:23Speaker 2: Choke no.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Joke, Okay, I'm not familiar.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Comedian comedian, and he sat down and had this to say, I.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Don't think he was joking. When you ya can determine
- 4:36Speaker 3: was he joking or not. I know when somebody used
- 4:38Speaker 3: to ending up a punchline, and I know when you're serious.
- 4:42Speaker 3: After he said did he did something to me? He said,
- 4:45Speaker 3: and I'm the one that called the fensland? So everybody,
- 4:48Speaker 3: I am some diagio, this son of a better go
- 4:52Speaker 3: back and think about when having a Jamie and start
- 4:56Speaker 3: looking at the chain of events.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I had heard, so this must lead Like a few
- 5:00Speaker 1: days before that he'd suggests in the in the special
- 5:03Speaker 1: that did he is the one who did that to him?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Yes, So I listened to this full interview and this
- 5:08Speaker 2: guy said that it was known and in Hollywood everybody
- 5:12Speaker 2: knew that he was apparently recording something. Did he busted
- 5:16Speaker 2: him or knew he was going to the Feds and
- 5:19Speaker 2: either poisoned him or beat him up, like had his
- 5:23Speaker 2: people beat him up and then something went down. But
- 5:25Speaker 2: it was so intense because he is the one who
- 5:28Speaker 2: blew the whistle and called the Feds.
- 5:30Speaker 1: That is crazy, the fact these two things getting connected.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I know, it's just what Yeah, it's mind blowing. It's
- 5:36Speaker 1: like this real life, this is a movie.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I will that, and then if you have been like
- 5:40Speaker 2: me and been down all of these rabbit holes of
- 5:43Speaker 2: what went on in Hollywood and who knew and some
- 5:46Speaker 2: of these stories, it makes you go, uh, come again,
- 5:51Speaker 2: it's frightening.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Yeah. And now I mean hopefully if Jamie's going as
- 5:55Speaker 1: far as this joke about it, well just let's have it.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Then let's have say what you know?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Well that and I'm wondering if he can't because of legalities.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I mean, that's the only thing I can think of,
- 6:05Speaker 2: because the last thing you want to do is we've
- 6:07Speaker 2: gotten this far to give some sort of information that
- 6:10Speaker 2: they wouldn't be able to hant. I mean, I think
- 6:12Speaker 2: there's so much at this one thing isn't going to
- 6:15Speaker 2: spoil the case. But I don't know now all that said,
- 6:18Speaker 2: or he could have just been kidding, which also would
- 6:21Speaker 2: be completely wild, Like wait a minute, what it was
- 6:25Speaker 2: just a joke. There's that too. I'm going with it's
- 6:28Speaker 2: not a joke because it just makes it way more juicy.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Well, that's exactly right, all right.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Place in Argentina are moving full steam ahead on Liam
- 6:34Speaker 2: Payne's death investigation. I guess they conducted another raid yesterday
- 6:38Speaker 2: reviewing electronic paperwork and paper records. They have all the
- 6:42Speaker 2: videos everything what they're trying to do right now. And
- 6:44Speaker 2: I think you talked about this on Monday bike when
- 6:47Speaker 2: I was gone, was finding this hotel worker that they
- 6:50Speaker 2: think was the one who was dueling delivering all the drugs.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 6:53Speaker 2: And then also his girlfriend Kate Cassidy. We had told
- 6:56Speaker 2: you yesterday that she had said that they were set
- 6:58Speaker 2: to get married, and he told her that this is
- 7:01Speaker 2: what I want to do. But she, I guess, according
- 7:04Speaker 2: to her friends, is just left in this space that
- 7:06Speaker 2: will hunt her forever. That she left him in Argentina,
- 7:09Speaker 2: she would have never known, of course, how this was
- 7:12Speaker 2: going to end. But my gosh, I mean, can you
- 7:15Speaker 2: imagine feeling like that. That's going to take a long time.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I know him exactly, and it happened yesterday. At a
- 7:24Speaker 2: press conference in Lada, did say that he will be
- 7:27Speaker 2: asking a court today to re sentence the Menendez brothers
- 7:30Speaker 2: in their parents' murders. So he will be recommending that
- 7:33Speaker 2: life without the possibility of parole be removed in the
- 7:36Speaker 2: case and that the brothers could be resentenced for the murder. Now,
- 7:39Speaker 2: a Supreme Court judge has to make a decision on
- 7:42Speaker 2: the resentenccene. He did say once he files it today.
- 7:45Speaker 2: He said yesterday during this press conference, I had watched it,
- 7:49Speaker 2: that there are people in his DA office that do
- 7:51Speaker 2: not agree with it, so that there are people that
- 7:54Speaker 2: their feathers are going to be ruffled, so it might
- 7:56Speaker 2: not go through. But this judge, I think, ultimately does
- 7:59Speaker 2: get to decide. And if that's the case, and he
- 8:02Speaker 2: says this is, this is what we're gonna do, they
- 8:05Speaker 2: could be released immediately.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Well, because it's not like they're going to remove the conviction, right,
- 8:11Speaker 1: it's still gonna be murder, but just with the possibility
- 8:14Speaker 1: of parole.
- 8:14Speaker 2: And then they would just they just release.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Because they've been in prison long enough now that they'd
- 8:19Speaker 1: be up for parole and then it would be a
- 8:20Speaker 1: matter of convincing the parole officer or whatever.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Correct. And they said too, And I think that a
- 8:26Speaker 2: lot of people don't know life after bars is they've
- 8:30Speaker 2: been stand up citizens in there.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Yeah, they've actually helped a lot of people.
- 8:34Speaker 2: One of them, like is an advocate for people who
- 8:38Speaker 2: have gone through sexual abuse, and the other one is, well,
- 8:41Speaker 2: the one that's married is talking about his life already
- 8:44Speaker 2: after thirty five years. I mean a lot can change.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I mean, think what happens in a year in most.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Of our lives. Yeah, exactly. I just I can imagine
- 8:53Speaker 1: being them, and like, you know, hope would be a
- 8:55Speaker 1: dangerous thing when you're in there. I mean, I guess
- 8:58Speaker 1: that's all you can have.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I had heard there was a girl talking about
- 9:01Speaker 2: the two. It's like they're this close, I know now.
- 9:04Speaker 2: I mean they're talking about what they're gonna do afterwards.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Now imagine if that doesn't happen.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, you gotta just be telling yourself, Nope, nothing's
- 9:11Speaker 1: gonna happen. I'm in here the rest of my life.
- 9:13Speaker 1: That's what's happen. And then if anything else happens, like okay, great. Honestly,
- 9:16Speaker 1: just makes you want to cry. I know it's a
- 9:18Speaker 1: horrible thought. But then again, they killed their parents. So
- 9:21Speaker 1: there's like a minute in the morning. It's just getting
- 9:24Speaker 1: spookier and spookier as the days go by, because we
- 9:27Speaker 1: are six days A lot of math going on there.
- 9:33Speaker 1: My head's gonna explode. We are six days from Halloween,
- 9:38Speaker 1: and I know you've got probably your trick or treat
- 9:40Speaker 1: plans already. I suppose just Thursday night, you're gonna take
- 9:43Speaker 1: the kids out.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yep, we do our neighborhood nice.
- 9:46Speaker 1: So what parent, though, are you? Which? Halloween parents? Several
- 9:51Speaker 1: different types. First of all, they've got the extra parents,
- 9:55Speaker 1: where you know what it's sounds that already.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I don't know what it is. I'm guessing I into
- 10:00Speaker 2: this already.
- 10:01Speaker 1: It's funny because I read this and I thought, that's
- 10:03Speaker 1: the complete opposite of a man. Because the first line
- 10:06Speaker 1: for the extra parents is they don't just have a
- 10:08Speaker 1: few decorations. Amanda has quite literally a few decorations.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Maybe the extra parent for Christmas, let's go that's probably
- 10:18Speaker 2: more my thing.
- 10:19Speaker 1: No, I get like, personality wise, maybe a little extra,
- 10:21Speaker 1: but no, they go all out because this for them
- 10:24Speaker 1: is a super Bowl Halloween for the extra parents. So
- 10:27Speaker 1: they got the soundtrack, playing with the fog machine, the
- 10:30Speaker 1: different golbos or whatever. Then you got the uneven halloweeners.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It's easy to spot these folks because you got the
- 10:38Speaker 1: one the parents in a full on costume, and the
- 10:41Speaker 1: other one obviously usually the dad, not to stereotype dads,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but they don't dress up at all. They look like
- 10:48Speaker 1: they're being absolutely forced to take part in the trigger treating.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Gush, this is really crushing my soul. What's the next one,
- 10:54Speaker 2: because you still haven't nailed us at all.
- 10:56Speaker 1: You could be the coordinating costumers. Not only is their
- 11:00Speaker 1: entire family dressed up, but they're all dressed up in
- 11:02Speaker 1: the same theme. You guys don't have a theme. Next Okay,
- 11:07Speaker 1: could you be the low effort parents?
- 11:11Speaker 2: Uh?
- 11:11Speaker 1: Yes, well, I mean they're the ones with that just
- 11:13Speaker 1: put out a bull of candy on the porch with
- 11:15Speaker 1: a sign that says take one.
- 11:18Speaker 2: So we don't even do that. We don't even hand
- 11:20Speaker 2: out the candy because we're out trigger treating, so our
- 11:22Speaker 2: lights are just off.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Okay, here's the one. I think I got you.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Is there anything in here that is the fireball parents?
- 11:30Speaker 1: That's so funny you say that because I think I've
- 11:32Speaker 1: got you pegged. Here the secret sippers. These parents are
- 11:37Speaker 1: both carrying a beverage and there's one chance that it's spiked.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Lucky for them. Trick or treating involves walking instead of
- 11:44Speaker 1: driving a beautiful thing.
- 11:46Speaker 2: We did kind of a reverse trigger treating last year. Gosh,
- 11:50Speaker 2: I don't know if this is legal or not, but
- 11:52Speaker 2: we had the wagon and because the kids like we're
- 11:54Speaker 2: dumping all their stuff and they get hot cold. There
- 11:57Speaker 2: was gloves, mittens, hats, don't feel like why use were
- 11:59Speaker 2: still small, So sometimes he'd take a little break. Yeah,
- 12:02Speaker 2: and then there might have been some fireball like Dustin
- 12:06Speaker 2: from Happy Harry's has those really cool halloween things. So
- 12:09Speaker 2: we were handing those out to people.
- 12:11Speaker 1: So much, little shooters or what.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, just you know, we'd go up to a house
- 12:13Speaker 2: and be like, here you go. Huh did they give
- 12:15Speaker 2: me for giving my kids? Yeah? Some places dead they
- 12:18Speaker 2: had a bush light and things.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Like that, boosh like bushoo oh it's Halloween bush. I
- 12:28Speaker 1: just didn't even get that. Yeah, that's good, Like an
- 12:31Speaker 1: in the morning. I got a lot to talk about.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And here he is say it with me, Amanda, wam bam,
- 12:38Speaker 1: Thank you Sam, Sam Niederman, voice of the NDSU Bison,
- 12:43Speaker 1: the Victorious Bison.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yes, thanks our friends over at Gateway Chevrolet. We get
- 12:47Speaker 2: to do this every week.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Sam, what a game, Amanda. First off, thanks for having me. Yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 4: that was unbelievable on Saturday night inside the Fargo Dome.
- 12:56Speaker 4: One are the all time NDSU games ever, I mean,
- 13:00Speaker 4: we're never gonna forget it.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Well, you had said last week you were just pumped,
- 13:04Speaker 2: like you were just ready for this game no matter what.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Of course you were rooting for NDSU as we all were,
- 13:09Speaker 2: but the electricity and that room had you have been wild.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Yeah, it was one of the best atmospheres I've ever
- 13:15Speaker 4: been a part of.
- 13:16Speaker 2: But it's so great.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Yeah, we prophesied it right, I'm right here on Wambam.
- 13:21Speaker 4: We said this is it. It's gonna be one of
- 13:23Speaker 4: the biggest Pizon games ever. I mean, the ingredients were
- 13:26Speaker 4: all there. One versus two Dakota Marker rivalry game prime time.
- 13:30Speaker 4: I mean, you had a long day to get warmed up.
- 13:33Speaker 4: The one was flowing in the tailgame lot, you had
- 13:36Speaker 4: the led rally towels lighting up, and the game came
- 13:39Speaker 4: down to the wire. I mean, I was so happy
- 13:41Speaker 4: for our guys, Cam Miller r QB. That was his
- 13:45Speaker 4: legacy moment. Yeah yeah, I mean to go down, you're
- 13:48Speaker 4: trailing the entire second half, You've got one drive and
- 13:52Speaker 4: you're at your own eight yard line, and the march
- 13:54Speaker 4: down the entire field, the game winning touchdown was amazing.
- 13:58Speaker 4: The game ceiling interception by Logan Cop was amazing. I mean,
- 14:02Speaker 4: that's that's gonna be something that we remember forever here
- 14:04Speaker 4: in Bison Country.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And now we number one, baby back.
- 14:08Speaker 1: At number one.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Yes, we should be and this is the perfect part
- 14:11Speaker 2: of the season. The now just kind of roll. I
- 14:13Speaker 2: don't know much about Murray State. What have we got
- 14:15Speaker 2: on Saturday?
- 14:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, I think a lot of our fans
- 14:18Speaker 4: don't know much about Murray State. But as you said,
- 14:20Speaker 4: we're back in the top spots. Let's see if we
- 14:22Speaker 4: can maintain it all the way through Frisco. We're going
- 14:24Speaker 4: down there.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I like it.
- 14:25Speaker 4: Yeah, we're going There's that's the goal, that's the mission, right,
- 14:28Speaker 4: But we're going down to Murray, Kentucky, which is in
- 14:30Speaker 4: the southwest part of Kentucky.
- 14:33Speaker 1: It's very rurals, very remote.
- 14:35Speaker 4: It's it's in between Saint Louis and Nashville, so very
- 14:39Speaker 4: very kind of isolated area. I'm hearing that we're staying
- 14:43Speaker 4: at some sort of like state park resort. Like it's
- 14:46Speaker 4: not your typical team hotels.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Camp in this week.
- 14:49Speaker 4: I think we might be yeah, like bring your outdoor
- 14:52Speaker 4: gear and they won't play a football game.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and so what is what's their sitch?
- 14:57Speaker 4: So they're new to the conference and said we played
- 15:01Speaker 4: him last year for the first time at home beat him.
- 15:03Speaker 4: This is the first time going there. They've been having
- 15:06Speaker 4: a tough year. They're one and six right now. They
- 15:08Speaker 4: have it won in the conference, but they've gotten better
- 15:10Speaker 4: each week. They've played Illinois State kind of tough last week,
- 15:14Speaker 4: so they've been improving. They've got a young head coach,
- 15:17Speaker 4: Jody Wright is his name. He's pretty gung ho positive,
- 15:21Speaker 4: has injected some new life into that program. So we're
- 15:24Speaker 4: gonna have to be ready. The fun things are they.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Ever can put your guard down, because it is something
- 15:29Speaker 2: like that, you go somewhere and you're like, okay, guys,
- 15:31Speaker 2: we're here. You got it, full steam ahead, and you
- 15:33Speaker 2: know what, coach Poulosek won't let them. Yeah, like act
- 15:36Speaker 2: like okay, we just need to slow down a little
- 15:38Speaker 2: bit because it is already fast forwarding a huge game
- 15:41Speaker 2: for US Northern Iowa next week.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, no home.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Yeah, the addys aren't going to look, you know, at
- 15:46Speaker 4: the one that they've got right under their nose here.
- 15:49Speaker 4: I think the one thing with Murray State, they're the
- 15:51Speaker 4: racers right for horse racing and Kentucky of course, so
- 15:54Speaker 4: the one fun tradition they have is there is a racehorse,
- 15:58Speaker 4: like a live horse that will around the football field
- 16:01Speaker 4: after they score touchdowns.
- 16:03Speaker 2: So awesome. Yeah, we know the name of the horse.
- 16:06Speaker 4: It's called Racer one. That's the name of the horse.
- 16:10Speaker 4: It's just called Racers.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Well, it'll be a fun atmosphere for you guys traveling
- 16:14Speaker 2: down there. Of course we'll be cheering them on. What
- 16:16Speaker 2: time is the game on Saturday?
- 16:17Speaker 4: One o'clock Central time here in Fargo, will be ready
- 16:20Speaker 4: to go. We'll enjoy our little stay in the in
- 16:23Speaker 4: the resort, in the cottage to place sorts.
- 16:26Speaker 2: I am a little nervous. I can't wait to talk
- 16:28Speaker 2: to you next week when we're talking about northern Iowa.
- 16:30Speaker 2: But I can't wait to hear about these conditions.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'll give you the whole rundown.
- 16:33Speaker 4: Yeah maybe, yeah, yeah, I know we'll have to pack
- 16:36Speaker 4: accordingly here.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Great, wham bam.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Thank you Sam. Every week we talked to him. Thanks
- 16:40Speaker 2: for our friends of verat Gateway scheverleg go by bike.
- 16:43Speaker 1: It a minute in the morning. That's the question. Oh, Friday,
- 16:46Speaker 1: time for a little something we do on this day
- 16:49Speaker 1: every single week. It's called what do you do? It's
- 16:56Speaker 1: your your chance to play along with some fun hypothetical
- 16:58Speaker 1: scenarios that Amanda and I have concocted over the last
- 17:02Speaker 1: several hours coming up with these brutal scenarios.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Couldn't sleep last night, but I finally came down to
- 17:09Speaker 2: this one.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Are you ready? I can't wait to hear it.
- 17:10Speaker 2: You're at the Crawlleween Pup Crawl obviously tomorrow, downtown Fargo.
- 17:16Speaker 2: It's gonna be a time. Weather's gonna be great. You
- 17:20Speaker 2: hop into a bar, you gotta go to the bathroom,
- 17:23Speaker 2: and poof, a guy comes in. You're never gonna believe
- 17:27Speaker 2: it in a genie costume, a real Aladdin.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Okay, so no, not Aladdin genie, Genie from Aladdin. Okay,
- 17:36Speaker 1: the genie.
- 17:36Speaker 2: From Aladdin, yep, like that comes into the bathroom and
- 17:39Speaker 2: he goes boom, got me. It's your lucky day. I
- 17:46Speaker 2: am gonna give you one wish. This wish comes true immediately.
- 17:51Speaker 2: It's only one wish, and the only catch is that
- 17:55Speaker 2: you automatically this wish will come true, but you automatically
- 17:58Speaker 2: will become a Vikings fan no matter what for the
- 18:01Speaker 2: rest of your life. That's the only catch.
- 18:04Speaker 1: So pike.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Any wish, but you're gonna have to ditch the Packers
- 18:11Speaker 2: for ever. Ever, what do you do.
- 18:15Speaker 1: You see that game last night? You want anything to
- 18:18Speaker 1: do with that? Not to mention this is just a
- 18:19Speaker 1: guy dressed up as a genie. No, this is a
- 18:22Speaker 1: real genie. Though. That's some what you said. I'm gonna
- 18:24Speaker 1: wish that he gets out of the bathroom.
- 18:27Speaker 2: No, really, you wouldn't take any wish ever that comes
- 18:33Speaker 2: to immediately, just because you wouldn't want to be a
- 18:36Speaker 2: Viking fan. I don't think I could do it, get
- 18:38Speaker 2: out of here.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I just I don't know that there's any wish infinite money,
- 18:43Speaker 1: you know, fame. I just I don't eat ten feet
- 18:46Speaker 1: ten feet tall. I mean, just any wish I could
- 18:49Speaker 1: think of. None of that would be worth having to
- 18:51Speaker 1: cheer for a team like the Minnesota Vikings. I just
- 18:54Speaker 1: don't think I could do it. Would I be aware
- 18:57Speaker 1: that I used to be a Packer fan? I mean,
- 19:00Speaker 1: you can just black that out, can't. Yeah, you'd be
- 19:02Speaker 1: just I couldn't. I'm just saying, in this scenario, is
- 19:05Speaker 1: that like men in black erased from my mind? No,
- 19:08Speaker 1: Now you're throwing all kinds of stuff in there. You
- 19:10Speaker 1: gotta be ready with these all sorts of I gotta
- 19:12Speaker 1: be able to ask some questions and you need to
- 19:14Speaker 1: have answers.
- 19:14Speaker 2: No, you have to remember that you loved Aaron Rodgers,
- 19:18Speaker 2: Brett Farv and Jordan Love.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Thank you. I don't forget the current goode. Of course
- 19:24Speaker 1: I couldn't do it then. No, No, that'd be too
- 19:26Speaker 1: too hard, So no, thank you, Jeanie. And also please
- 19:30Speaker 1: still get out of the bathroom. That's ridiculous. All right, Amanda,
- 19:34Speaker 1: you're up. You have somehow found yourself involved in the
- 19:40Speaker 1: re sentencing of Lyle and Eric Menendez. Right now, the
- 19:44Speaker 1: judge deems that they will be allowed to get out
- 19:48Speaker 1: of prison and parole under one circumstance. They will then
- 19:53Speaker 1: have to move in immediately with you and your family.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Aman gosh. Eric has to stay Briggs room, Lyle needs
- 20:02Speaker 1: to sleep in Sydney's room, and they need to stay
- 20:05Speaker 1: there for the rest of their lives. But in return,
- 20:08Speaker 1: you will be paid twenty million dollars annually for your
- 20:13Speaker 1: troubles at.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Wow, this is a good one.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you do? I mean you've you've been
- 20:26Speaker 1: vouching for them for weeks now, and so time to
- 20:29Speaker 1: put your money where your mouth is.
- 20:31Speaker 2: They can go live anywhere but my home, especially not
- 20:34Speaker 2: in my kids rooms.
- 20:34Speaker 1: No, you're just hard known twenty million a year.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I'm not letting two men in my kids room.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Well, you seem to have all kinds of confidence in
- 20:44Speaker 1: their rehabilitation and in general it's not happening. No, but
- 20:49Speaker 1: for twenty mel, didn't you think? No, No, you could,
- 20:52Speaker 1: like you've got to be able to work through this,
- 20:55Speaker 1: Like you and Nick could then also stay in the room.
- 20:57Speaker 1: You'd be like, all right, here's the deal. We're just
- 20:58Speaker 1: all we're going three keep in a room just in case.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Oh, I mean, I guess, like twenty million dollars, this
- 21:04Speaker 2: room could be the size of a mansion. Hell, that's
- 21:08Speaker 2: just I'm kind of a personal space person. No, like
- 21:10Speaker 2: I wouldn't. I don't think i'd let anybody just live
- 21:12Speaker 2: with me. Yeah, but they don't need to. Like you,
- 21:14Speaker 2: guys go to the lake a bunch, so they don't
- 21:17Speaker 2: have to come to the lake. So I can.
- 21:19Speaker 1: But you you have you can't stay at the lake
- 21:20Speaker 1: more than five months and thirty days. Otherwise you have
- 21:24Speaker 1: to pay taxes at the lake.
- 21:25Speaker 2: But do they come along, That's what I'm saying.
- 21:28Speaker 1: No, they don't go on any weekend trips, but if
- 21:30Speaker 1: you go to the lake for more than two weeks,
- 21:32Speaker 1: they have to they have to cut me.
- 21:33Speaker 2: On and they still have to be with my kids.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Like no, just no, no, I know interest me twenty
- 21:40Speaker 2: mili a year.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I know. Would you see you're more worried about the kids,
- 21:43Speaker 1: which obviously I get. That's weird. I mean, it's not
- 21:45Speaker 1: like they were put away for a crime against children.
- 21:48Speaker 1: They killed their parents. So I'm saying, wouldn't wouldn't you
- 21:51Speaker 1: be concerned that they're going to walk into you in
- 21:52Speaker 1: Nick's room with a couple of shotguns.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Or convince my kids to come after I don't know.
- 21:57Speaker 2: There's just so many things. Yet, No, I noticed the
- 21:59Speaker 2: I just don't want him in my home.
- 22:01Speaker 1: You know.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I know that they may have changed.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Great.
- 22:04Speaker 2: I think we're good.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I can just see Eric sitting down with Sydney and Briggs, like, hey, kids,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I noticed that not only did your mom make you
- 22:10Speaker 1: eat your vegetables, she didn't let you have dessert. Kind
- 22:14Speaker 1: of messed up. Don't you think think of Oh my god,
- 22:18Speaker 1: I think of all the dessert you could have if
- 22:20Speaker 1: only they were gone. They were gone, I think about it.
