- 0:01Speaker 1: All right, here we are, Steve, last break of the day.
- 0:04Speaker 1: It's been a great day. What a day. What a day. Yeah,
- 0:10Speaker 1: it's been a crazy day today. So Steve, now it's
- 0:13Speaker 1: time for you to take us home with your closing remarks.
- 0:17Speaker 2: My closing remarks today are gonna be based around the
- 0:22Speaker 2: value of yourself. I think this is important. Tommy sent
- 0:27Speaker 2: this to me. He sent me a saying, you know,
- 0:32Speaker 2: a billboard, and it really triggered me to think. And
- 0:35Speaker 2: I'm gonna share that with you. But it all pertains
- 0:38Speaker 2: to the value of yourself. This can pertain to you
- 0:43Speaker 2: in terms of reaching your goals. Your dreams are in business,
- 0:53Speaker 2: and this is for you to consider in the relationship
- 0:57Speaker 2: of love. It is a amazing to me while I
- 1:01Speaker 2: talk to people and people talk about how they're being
- 1:04Speaker 2: treated and handled it and represented and dealt with, and
- 1:08Speaker 2: how they can't seem to get nobody to see they
- 1:12Speaker 2: value and they worth. And I'm sitting a bit going
- 1:15Speaker 2: wait a minute, wait a minute. You can't try to
- 1:19Speaker 2: get someone to see something in you that you don't
- 1:23Speaker 2: see in yourself. It starts with you. You know, you
- 1:29Speaker 2: all heard the saying, uh, beauty is on the inside
- 1:34Speaker 2: it's not just skin deep. That's true. Confidence is not
- 1:38Speaker 2: an outward emotion. It's something that starts from within. Everything
- 1:44Speaker 2: starts from within, and it exudes and and and and
- 1:49Speaker 2: manifest itself in the outward shape of form. So if
- 1:54Speaker 2: you want people to value you, you must first value yourself.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I tell my daughters all the time, you can train
- 2:06Speaker 2: a man how to treat you well, Daddy, how do
- 2:09Speaker 2: you train a man? You just don't accept bad treatment
- 2:12Speaker 2: from him. If you don't accept bad treatment from him,
- 2:17Speaker 2: little girl of mine, then guess what. He can't keep
- 2:20Speaker 2: giving it to you. A person can only treat you
- 2:24Speaker 2: the way you allow them to do it. If you
- 2:27Speaker 2: don't accept a man coming to pick you up late
- 2:29Speaker 2: all the time, and he comes to pick you up
- 2:31Speaker 2: late twice, but you stop going with him every time
- 2:34Speaker 2: he late, The next time he want to go out
- 2:36Speaker 2: with you, he gotta be on time. Now. If he
- 2:38Speaker 2: don't want to be on time, then guess what. You
- 2:40Speaker 2: don't go out. You've trained him how to treat you,
- 2:43Speaker 2: and if he don't line up with what you want,
- 2:45Speaker 2: then guess what he not for you. At least you
- 2:49Speaker 2: don't have to be mistreated the way he want to
- 2:51Speaker 2: treat you by simply not allowing him to treat you
- 2:55Speaker 2: any way he wants to. You cannot have high value
- 3:01Speaker 2: for yourself and expect someone else to have a high
- 3:05Speaker 2: value of you. That goes into same thing with business.
- 3:08Speaker 2: You can't go in and ask for a raise if
- 3:10Speaker 2: you don't think you deserve one. What would cause you
- 3:13Speaker 2: to walk in there and ask for a raise if
- 3:15Speaker 2: you don't think you deserve one, if you don't have
- 3:18Speaker 2: the facts to back up a raise. You can't want
- 3:20Speaker 2: more money just because you don't spend all the money
- 3:23Speaker 2: you had. You got to go in there and ask
- 3:25Speaker 2: for a raise because you can show value to the company.
- 3:28Speaker 2: You're worth this much more to the company. The company
- 3:31Speaker 2: has become this because of you. Then you can show
- 3:34Speaker 2: your value. Then you can go in there with a raise,
- 3:36Speaker 2: and you can go in there with some confidence with
- 3:37Speaker 2: the raise. It happens with goals and dreams. If you
- 3:42Speaker 2: aim too low, your problem is you might hit it.
- 3:47Speaker 2: So it's what you think of yourself, how you value yourself,
- 3:52Speaker 2: that matters most. Now, let me tell you what was
- 3:54Speaker 2: sent to me, and listen to this real careful, because
- 3:57Speaker 2: this is gonna register with a lot of people here
- 4:00Speaker 2: we go. Listen to me. If you aren't being treated
- 4:04Speaker 2: with love and respect, check your price tag. Maybe you've
- 4:09Speaker 2: marked yourself down. Is you who tells people what you're worth?
- 4:16Speaker 2: Get off the clearest rack and get behind the glass
- 4:21Speaker 2: where they keep the valuables. It is you who tells
- 4:25Speaker 2: people what you're worth. Get off the clearest rack and
- 4:29Speaker 2: get behind the glass where they keep the valuables. Stop
- 4:34Speaker 2: acting like you a sidewalk sail. Stop acting like you
- 4:38Speaker 2: can be picked up at the swap meet. Stop acting
- 4:42Speaker 2: like you belong in the junkyard. You a new car.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Don't act like an old car. I don't care how
- 4:49Speaker 2: old you are to somebody. You got to be a
- 4:52Speaker 2: new car. Stop putting yourself on the sales rack when
- 4:57Speaker 2: clearly you deserve full price. If you lower the value
- 5:02Speaker 2: for yourself, that's what we'll pay for you, and that's
- 5:05Speaker 2: how we'll treat you, and that's how we respect. If
- 5:08Speaker 2: you don't respect yourself, if I see you constantly disrespecting yourself,
- 5:12Speaker 2: then you're gonna turn to me and demand respect. How
- 5:15Speaker 2: does that work? Get back there? Be that be a
- 5:20Speaker 2: coat where they got to lock on it. See you
- 5:23Speaker 2: can't take me off the rat and just try me on. No,
- 5:27Speaker 2: that ain't how this work. See, but now you go
- 5:30Speaker 2: over that to that valuable section in the store. You
- 5:33Speaker 2: everybody been to Macy's. You got that stuff where you
- 5:35Speaker 2: got to go get a salesperson to come and unlock
- 5:38Speaker 2: it for you to even try it on. That's cause
- 5:40Speaker 2: they don't put a value on that. Are you going
- 5:43Speaker 2: over there and just put the little shirt on? T
- 5:45Speaker 2: shirts ain't locked up. Anybody can get one if you
- 5:51Speaker 2: steal this T shirt. It ain't that big a loss.
- 5:53Speaker 2: That ain't a four dollars pack of three. Come over
- 5:56Speaker 2: here by the swede, come over here by the first stuff.
- 6:00Speaker 2: We got locks on this stuff right here because it
- 6:03Speaker 2: has value. We know it has value, So we can't
- 6:06Speaker 2: just let you try to stop letting people just try
- 6:08Speaker 2: you on. You got it, put a value to yourself,
- 6:13Speaker 2: maintain it, you determine your value. Don't let other people
- 6:17Speaker 2: do it. You do it all right. Those are my closing.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Remont drop the mic, drop the mic, baby.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Thank you, Tommy, appreciate pimp needed that put that. I
- 6:30Speaker 2: just need thought start. Yeah, hey man, can I tell
- 6:33Speaker 2: you y'all some announce it.
