Latest / Stuck No More Voices / 313-The Influence Platform: Stop Being Hidden And Start Being Followable
Transcript
- 0:00You've been called, you have done the work, you have the offer, and you're still posting into what feels like silence, not because your message is wrong, because your platform has not caught up to your authority yet today.
- 0:15We close the gap.
- 0:16Hey, welcome to the Stuck.
- 0:18No More Voices podcast heard on Apple and YouTube.
- 0:21I'm Theresa Croft, your host, a voice strategist for Christian women leaders.
- 0:27I am here because I already know something about you, Uhhuh you.
- 0:32I see you.
- 0:33You are not a beginner.
- 0:35Hmm?
- 0:36You're not studying from scratch.
- 0:38You have the message, you have the miles, you have the scars that tied you.
- 0:43More than any classroom ever could, but somewhere along the way, the rooms your credibility already opened.
- 0:52Still have not heard your name.
- 0:55Friend that stops here.
- 0:57This podcast is for the woman of substance, the woman carrying a message bigger than our current platform.
- 1:04The one who has done the inner hard work, built the authority, and is ready to walk out of striving into thriving.
- 1:12Because here's what I know, uh, to be true.
- 1:15The woman who walks through the cohort, walks out, settled.
- 1:18She's no longer striving to be heard.
- 1:21She knows her message.
- 1:23She owns her voice and she's ready for every stage.
- 1:26Got already approved, the podcast, the platform, the page of the book that has had her name on it All along, I do not coach from the sidelines.
- 1:35I walk beside you, not as a coach, but as a mentor who's already taken the steps you are about to take.
- 1:42So pour the coffee, open the notes app, and let us get ready for the stage that has had your name on it all along your voice.
- 1:51I was never meant to stay silent.
- 1:54So we are in the I of the E Voice method.
- 1:57You know who you are.
- 1:58That is the E, you know where God is sending you.
- 2:01That is the V.
- 2:02You have started building the offer that carries the assignment.
- 2:05That is the O.
- 2:06And now we come to the I Influence platform.
- 2:12I need to draw a line right there because before we go any further, because the world, the in the word influence Oh, has been so diluted.
- 2:20And by social media culture that most women kind of flinch when they hear it, they picture follower counts, viral moments like aehthenic grids, women performing a version of themselves for an algorithm that is not what I mean when I say influence.
- 2:39Influence the kind we build inside.
- 2:42This method is not about reach, it's about resonance.
- 2:47It's about not about how many people see you.
- 2:50It's about whether the right people recognize themselves in what you say.
- 2:55One woman who finds you, trusts you and says yes is worth more than 10,000 followers who scroll past.
- 3:04So we are releasing the metrics of volume today, and we're picking up the metric that actually matters impact.
- 3:13So Point 1 Influence is not built on content.
- 3:18It's built on consistency of voice.
- 3:21I wanted to ask you something.
- 3:22When someone lands on your page, your Instagram, your LinkedIn, your website, do they immediately know who you are, who you serve, and what you stand for?
- 3:32Not after reading your bio in the first three seconds because three seconds, that is the window you have.
- 3:41Three seconds, and most women are spending those precious three seconds explaining their credentials instead of speaking to her pain.
- 3:50Here's what I know about after 29 years in media, 17 years in radio, the voices that break through are not the loudest ones.
- 3:59They're not the most polished ones.
- 4:02They are the ones that are unmistakably themselves every single time.
- 4:07Same conviction.
- 4:08I.
- 4:09Same language, same theological thread, running through everything they say, whether it's a caption, a spoken word, or a sales conversation.
- 4:19That is a voice fingerprint.
- 4:23Write that down.
- 4:25Voice fingerprint, and it's the foundation.
- 4:27Your influence platform is built on your voice.
- 4:31Fingerprint is the intersection of three things.
- 4:35How you speak, your cadence, your phrasing, your register, what you speak about, your core message, your recurring themes, and why you speak the conviction underneath everything that does not change, regardless of the platform or the trend.
- 4:52When those three things are consistent across every touchpoint, your platform stops being a content machine.
- 5:00It starts being a presence.
- 5:03And presence is what builds influence.
- 5:07You know, I tell you something personal here, because I could give you all the strategy in the world here.
- 5:12It would mean nothing if I didn't not say, Hey, I've lived this myself.
- 5:18There have been times when I have posted on social media.
- 5:21Or created a podcast that I thought was clear messages, good messages, that would just jack up the likes and listeners, listeners to my podcast.
- 5:31They did not, and then months later, a woman found it and said it changed her life.
- 5:37Months.
- 5:38This morning.
- 5:41Someone liked and commented about a podcast I did four years ago.
- 5:49So learn something, stay real to the core of who you are.
- 5:53That's what I'm gonna do.
- 5:55One woman who truly hears you is worth the 10,000 passive scrollers or listeners.
- 6:02That moment changed how I approach everything because I stopped trying to sound like someone who belonged in the room and I started sounding like the woman, God owns it, already, put there Point Two Your platform is not your social media.
- 6:20It's your ecosystem of presence.
- 6:23We talked about ecosystem of your business in last episode.
- 6:26This is the ecosystem of your presence.
- 6:30This is where a lot of women get stuck.
- 6:32They equate platform with a posting schedule.
- 6:36They think if they just show up more consistently on Instagram, everything will click.
- 6:41And then when they burn out and they conclude that the platform is not building for them.
- 6:46Platform is not a posting schedule.
- 6:49Platform is every place your voice lives in every way.
- 6:53A woman can find you, trust you, and take the next step with you.
- 6:58Your platform ecosystem.
- 7:00Hold on with me here, has four layers.
- 7:02Okay?
- 7:02Let's talk about this.
- 7:04The first layer is your published voice.
- 7:08This is where your long form content lives.
- 7:10For most of you, that might be a podcast.
- 7:13Uh, for some it's a YouTube channel.
- 7:16For others, it might be a blog or a newsletter.
- 7:18This is the layer where you go deep, where you teach, where you establish the authority that makes everything else, makes sense, maybe one to two times a week consistent, un mistakenly you.
- 7:32The second layer is your social presence.
- 7:34I heard on Instagram this one lady saying.
- 7:38You can't build a brand without social media.
- 7:40Yeah, you gotta stick in there through the likes and through the algorithm, and it was just so clear and so true because you need the second layer.
- 7:48I mean, it's free right now.
- 7:50Social media is free.
- 7:52This is where your published voice gets amplified in shorter form.
- 7:57Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok.
- 8:00Now where you perform for the algorithm, where you start conversations that drive people back to your public voice repurposed.
- 8:10Unintentional, not reinvented from every scratch, every time you bring'em back for conversation that happened to me today, someone had said, I don't know if I got your message.
- 8:20And I said, well, come on, let's talk.
- 8:21And we went back and forth.
- 8:23Conversation platform.
- 8:27Get'em into your dms and talk to'em.
- 8:28Serve'em love.
- 8:30Don't try to sell to'em right away.
- 8:32Okay?
- 8:33The third layer.
- 8:34Is your warm room.
- 8:36This is where trust deepens your email list, your private community, and even I'd say your dms, when you get to know'em, the woman who have moved beyond following you into actually being in a relationship with your work.
- 8:49Small and sacred tend to it like a vineyard, not a billboard.
- 8:55The fourth layer is your speaking voice stages, podcasts.
- 8:59You guest on live events anywhere you show up in real time and speak directly into someone's life.
- 9:07This layer accelerates everything else because nothing builds the influence faster than a room that hears your voice.
- 9:14Feel something shift and that room could very well be online.
- 9:19It doesn't have to be on stage somewhere, just so you know.
- 9:22So you free up there with traveling and everything.
- 9:25Not that I don't like stages, don't get me wrong.
- 9:28Okay, so four layers.
- 9:30Your published voice, your social presence, your warm room, and your speaking voice.
- 9:36You not build all four at once.
- 9:39You build from the inside out.
- 9:42So you start with your published voice.
- 9:44Everything else grows from there.
- 9:47Proverbs 1816 says, A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.
- 9:55Your gift is the voice.
- 9:57The platform is simply the room it makes.
- 10:00All right, Point three, hang on with me.
- 10:03The woman who finds you needs to be able to follow you somewhere.
- 10:08This is the piece that breaks the whole system.
- 10:10If it's missing, you can have the most powerful voice in your space and you post consistently.
- 10:16You can be a guest on every podcast, and if there's no clear next step, she'll admire you from a distance and never move to know you.
- 10:25The influence platform, it's not just about being visible.
- 10:29It's about being followable, and followable means one thing, clarity.
- 10:35She lands on your page and she knows exactly what you do, who you do it for, and what she should do next.
- 10:42Not three options, not a menu, one clear invitation.
- 10:48In my world, that invitation is the CEO Voice assessment that comes along with a strategy, voice strategy video.
- 10:56It tells it's free.
- 10:58It takes only a few minutes and it tells her exactly where she is in her platform journey.
- 11:02She can just kind of basically take the assessment and really get a good idea where she is.
- 11:08It's not a sales tool first.
- 11:10It is a service tool first, and because it serves her before it sells her, it builds the trust that eventually brings her into the cohort.
- 11:20Your platform needs a front door.
- 11:23One clear entry point that she can walk through.
- 11:25The moment she decides she wants more than a scroll.
- 11:29Yeah, without that front door, all the content in the world just creates awareness without movement.
- 11:35Habakkuk two verse two says, write the vision and make it plain so that the one who reads it may run.
- 11:45Make it plain Make it simple.
- 11:47Make the next stop plain and simple.
- 11:50Give her something to run toward.
- 11:53Now, let's say something that does not get said enough in platform conversations, your platform will only grow as far as your belief about your own voice will allow it.
- 12:04I've worked with women who have content like more than influencers, more credential than most experts, more story than most authors.
- 12:12And their platform is still small, not because they're not talented because.
- 12:18Something underneath the posting and the strategy, there is this quiet voice that says nobody's really listening, and so they post as if nobody is listening.
- 12:29And nobody does neuroscience.
- 12:32Check the neuroscience on this.
- 12:35Elana van Deventer work on mind Health confirms what God has already said.
- 12:41Their neural pathways are reinforced through.
- 12:44Repeated belief becomes the structure we operate from.
- 12:48And if you believe your voice is too small, too late, too local.
- 12:52Your platform will reflect that belief back to you every single time.
- 12:57By the way, Elana is one of our mental mentors in the cohort, so the influence platform starts in the mind before it starts on the feed, and we get to do something about that.
- 13:08Romans 12 verse two, be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
- 13:14You don't renew your mind on the content.
- 13:15Calendar your mind when you believe what God said about your voice.
- 13:19The best place to hear what he said is in his presence.
- 13:23Coffee and Jesus for me, or should it be Jesus and coffee?
- 13:26A place to renew your mind.
- 13:29You realize even in the presence, you get strategies, but that platform doesn't just grow.
- 13:35It attracts.
- 13:37It calls in the women who are already meant to find you.
- 13:40God does not waste a voice that is fully surrendered to him.
- 13:45Not one word, not one episode, not one post that was prayed over and sent out.
- 13:51In faith, he gives the word, you proclaim it.
- 13:54The platform is simply how far the world travels.
- 13:58Let me bring this home for you.
- 14:00The I in the EVOICE Method™is not about being everywhere.
- 14:04It's about being undeniably somewhere consistent, voice layered presence, one clear front door.
- 14:14All of it is rooted in a renewed mind that believes what God said about the assignment.
- 14:19Your influence platform is not something you build for visibility.
- 14:24It is something you steward for impact.
- 14:27With the visibility comes the stewardship for impact, and the woman who's been searching for a voice like yours, she's out there right now.
- 14:36She's scrolling, she's listening, looking for someone who sounds like what she has been feeling, but could not find the words for, and that's someone is you.
- 14:47The CEO Voice assessment is your first step if you are ready to get clear on where your platform is.
- 14:53Where your voices and what it needs next.
- 14:56The link is in the show notes.
- 14:58Friend.
- 14:58The platform was always meant to carry the voice and the voice was always meant to reach her, not for some day.
- 15:06For now, I'm Theresa Croft and I'll talk to you in the next episode of Stuck No More Voice podcast.
