Speaker 2: Welcome to Let's Talk with Carl Lee. Let's Talk is
• 0:26
Speaker 2: probably presented by Attorney Frank Walker, Real Talk, Real experience,
• 0:30
Speaker 2: Real results, Frank Walker Law dot Com. Let that conversation
• 0:34
Speaker 2: begin on Let's Talk.
• 0:36
Speaker 3: This is curly with Let's Talk, and I have in
• 0:40
Speaker 3: the building my two co hosts, Lisa Onde Hello, and
• 0:45
  Speaker 3: Hollis Lewis Hello.
• 0:46
  Speaker 4: Hello.
• 0:47
  Speaker 3: So guys, there's been there's.
• 0:50
Speaker 5: Been, and lady, I take that anymore.
• 0:55
Speaker 3: So there's been some crazy some some some crazy stuff
• 1:00
Speaker 3: taking place in sports here in the last couple of
• 1:08
  Speaker 3: weeks or so.
• 1:10
Speaker 5: And some are unfortunate, and some are and.
• 1:12
Speaker 3: Some are some are really really really personally for me,
• 1:15
Speaker 3: really really like a a difficult situation as as a whole.
• 1:21
Speaker 3: So well, well we'll slow down and wait and get
• 1:25
Speaker 3: that towards the end. But I can remember, I can
• 1:31
Speaker 3: go back. I don't know, it seems like it was
• 1:32
Speaker 3: just yesterday. And I can remember Tiger Woods like.
• 1:36
  Speaker 4: Being the name.
• 1:37
Speaker 3: I'm out on the golf course, trying to trying to
• 1:40
Speaker 3: be you know, a version of him. Guys, what what
• 1:46
Speaker 3: what's going on? Like like what I'll give.
• 1:49
Speaker 5: Some I'll give some background. Is that for the audience.
• 1:52
Speaker 6: I think I think most people know what what happened
• 1:54
Speaker 6: this past Friday, but but we'll make sure the audience
• 1:58
Speaker 6: is aware. So talk Woods was once again involved in
• 2:02
Speaker 6: a rollover car crash on Friday, March twenty seventh at Jupiter, Florida,
• 2:07
Speaker 6: or in Jupiter, Florida, where he lives. He was he
• 2:09
Speaker 6: was very close to his home when they found him.
• 2:12
Speaker 6: He was alert, he was he was uninjured. So you know,
• 2:17
Speaker 6: of course they ran him through the tests of a
• 2:19
  Speaker 6: d U I. They gave him a breathalyzer and no
• 2:22
Speaker 6: alcohol was detected, and he refused a urine test. So
• 2:28
Speaker 6: under the Florida law, I guess for driving under the influence,
• 2:33
Speaker 6: he has been charged officially with a d UI.
• 2:37
Speaker 7: So I'll just when you refuse some sort of breathalyzer
• 2:42
Speaker 7: d UI sort of tests, then you can be charged,
• 2:45
Speaker 7: even though there's not necessarily quote unquote.
• 2:47
Speaker 6: Evidence right right, right right, and it just the timing
• 2:53
Speaker 6: of it's very unfortunate for Tiger. He had just played
• 2:58
Speaker 6: in something called the TGL Finals on the twenty fourth
• 3:02
Speaker 6: of Mars, just a few days before, and if people
• 3:05
Speaker 6: aren't you aware of what that is, it is an
• 3:09
Speaker 6: indoor stadium golf league. And so he was a part
• 3:13
Speaker 6: of that and that was his first professional appearance since
• 3:16
Speaker 6: twenty twenty four. So it seemed like he was, you know,
• 3:20
Speaker 6: kind of turning things around. You know, he had spoken
• 3:24
Speaker 6: to the media recently and stated, you know, he wanted
• 3:28
Speaker 6: to play in the Masters, the upcoming Masters in April.
• 3:32
Speaker 6: You know, guys, what is your like, what is your
• 3:37
Speaker 6: opinion of what's going on with Tiger right now?
• 3:40
Speaker 7: Well, I mean again, I just wanted just to clarify
• 3:43
Speaker 7: there is no again. The dui is alleged right now,
• 3:46
Speaker 7: right right, right right. We just explained the situation as
• 3:48
Speaker 7: far as him being the reason why he was probably
• 3:51
Speaker 7: charged even though he passed the breathalyzer. But this is
• 3:55
Speaker 7: just who he is, just who he is. Yeah, we
• 3:58
Speaker 7: we had it, We had image of him and when
• 4:01
Speaker 7: he was young, he had his father there, he was focused,
• 4:04
Speaker 7: he was down in he was trying to get to
• 4:05
Speaker 7: the mountaintop. He got to the mountaintop, and it's just
• 4:08
Speaker 7: who he is. I mean, he he is a guy.
• 4:10
Speaker 7: He's he's he's more like Chuck Dailey than what we
• 4:13
Speaker 7: thought you think. So apparently he's a quieter, maybe a
• 4:18
Speaker 7: more reserved version of that, but he seems to be
• 4:21
Speaker 7: that similar guy. I mean, he likes to apparently apparent
• 4:24
Speaker 7: allegedly likes to party, drink, likes to have the ladies.
• 4:28
Speaker 3: You know, thiss just who he is. And that's okay, okay,
• 4:31
Speaker 3: other than I'm gonna I'm going to I'm gonna say
• 4:35
Speaker 3: that I agree with you in some respect, but I'm
• 4:42
Speaker 3: gonna challenge, challenged the change. I have seen a number
• 4:52
Speaker 3: of and and you all when I say this, you
• 4:54
Speaker 3: all are gonna agree with me. I have seen a
• 4:57
Speaker 3: number of amazing, top level, top two three in their
• 5:04
Speaker 3: in their sport just lose their mind and do stupid stuff.
• 5:11
  Speaker 5: Okay, I think.
• 5:14
Speaker 3: That this is this is this is in part because
• 5:18
Speaker 3: of the of his greatness and and believing that you
• 5:23
Speaker 3: are bigger than anything. There's no there's no way to
• 5:27
Speaker 3: touch you. There's no way to touch you. You you
• 5:30
Speaker 3: can do these things now. Well, his wife allegedly touched
• 5:33
Speaker 3: him up a couple of times, allegedly and and even
• 5:40
Speaker 3: though once you get caught, blamed, argue with the with
• 5:46
Speaker 3: your wife, and you do your time, and the threat
• 5:50
Speaker 3: that they're like, don't do this again, or we'll do this.
• 5:55
Speaker 3: You can't. You don't buy that, Like, I just don't think.
• 5:58
  Speaker 3: I just don't. I don't think that. I don't think
• 6:01
Speaker 3: that you could ever believe that anybody can touch you.
• 6:04
Speaker 3: When you were at the I mean you're at the
• 6:06
Speaker 3: top of the world, like everything is below you.
• 6:10
Speaker 5: Did you ever feel that way?
• 6:11
  Speaker 4: When I.
• 6:13
Speaker 3: Never was that player? Now?
• 6:14
Speaker 4: Did I get me?
• 6:15
Speaker 5: When you were going to the Pro Bowl? You were
• 6:17
  Speaker 5: to a degree? I mean you're not. I mean Tiger
• 6:20
Speaker 5: Woods is an entity of his own.
• 6:21
Speaker 3: I mean, and again, golf is a singular thing because
• 6:26
Speaker 3: even at the Pro Bowl there's somebody that you know,
• 6:30
Speaker 3: the guy my The other guy on the other side
• 6:33
Speaker 3: of me was Darryl Green. So I am I looking
• 6:36
Speaker 3: at Darryl Green and saying, man, who is he? Why
• 6:39
Speaker 3: they even put him in? I can't do that, right,
• 6:42
Speaker 3: you know, there's other guys that are in there that
• 6:44
Speaker 3: are that. I honestly, if I can be honest with myself,
• 6:48
Speaker 3: I can look at and say now I'm not there.
• 6:51
Speaker 7: Well, I would just I would love to get dryl
• 6:54
Speaker 7: green on, so if you can make that. But but
• 6:57
  Speaker 7: but I'm saying I just don't think so. I think
• 7:00
Speaker 7: this is just who he is. I think that we
• 7:02
Speaker 7: had an image of what we thought he was, and
• 7:05
Speaker 7: this is just who he is. He's and I think, like,
• 7:08
Speaker 7: sort of though, how we romanticize sports he ros and
• 7:12
Speaker 7: sports figures in the past, It's just not that way
• 7:15
Speaker 7: no more. These these He's a regular dude, And he's
• 7:18
Speaker 7: a regular dude apparently, who likes the party, apparently, who
• 7:22
Speaker 7: likes the ladies, who likes to live a certain lifestyle.
• 7:25
Speaker 7: That's that's sort of that we don't necessarily, uh connect. No,
• 7:31
Speaker 7: we don't connect the lifestyle with golfing in that lifestyle.
• 7:36
Speaker 7: We don't connect how there actually are with the country
• 7:39
Speaker 7: club lifestyle. These guys are partiers, They like to drink,
• 7:42
Speaker 7: they like to have a good time. They just like
• 7:44
Speaker 7: any other football, basketball player, professional athlet places that they
• 7:48
Speaker 7: go to hang out and all those kinds.
• 7:51
Speaker 6: I'm going to counter that though, but this is the
• 7:52
Speaker 6: fourth time he's been in a major accident. But the
• 7:55
Speaker 6: regular nine to five guy that works at the job
• 7:58
Speaker 6: at the factory doesn't get a fourth chance to go out.
• 8:02
  Speaker 3: There, you know.
• 8:04
Speaker 6: So, I mean, in a way I agree with Carl
• 8:06
Speaker 6: that you know, he's kind of been given this mentality
• 8:10
Speaker 6: that he can get away with what he's doing, because,
• 8:13
Speaker 6: like I said, I mean not not every time in
• 8:15
Speaker 6: these accidents was it related to you know, whatever he's
• 8:20
Speaker 6: he's doing, not by you know, whatever allegedly that he
• 8:22
Speaker 6: is under the influence of. But you know, at least
• 8:25
Speaker 6: two or three of them. One time he was asleep
• 8:27
Speaker 6: in his car, right like, they found him.
• 8:29
Speaker 5: Sleeping in a car.
• 8:30
Speaker 3: But I think he only got one DUI am I correct.
• 8:34
Speaker 6: He'll look it up, but I know it's the fourth
• 8:36
Speaker 6: time he's had a major accident.
• 8:38
Speaker 3: And and and then the question becomes is that just
• 8:42
Speaker 3: his driving skills? I mean, and you're right, I'm not.
• 8:47
  Speaker 4: I don't.
• 8:47
Speaker 5: I don't need to give to school, don't.
• 8:50
Speaker 7: I don't disagree with you in totality. I mean, obviously
• 8:53
Speaker 7: there is a privilege there, right, we know that with money,
• 8:56
Speaker 7: and you know, obviously being who he is, there is
• 8:59
Speaker 7: a privilege that particular like when he was Nike and
• 9:01
Speaker 7: he's at the height of his career, some of this
• 9:02
Speaker 7: stuff was going on and may have got swept under
• 9:04
Speaker 7: the rug. But at this point, I mean, he's what
• 9:07
Speaker 7: darn near fifty is right, And I just think like
• 9:10
Speaker 7: this is just who this When I say that, this
• 9:13
Speaker 7: is just who this person is, this is just who
• 9:16
Speaker 7: they're going to be. And I think, I personally think
• 9:21
Speaker 7: have been an athlete and have watched great athletes destroy themselves,
• 9:30
Speaker 7: there's something inside of you that's telling you that you're
• 9:34
Speaker 7: not who you were.
• 9:35
Speaker 3: But do you think he's destroying him? Would you wait
• 9:37
Speaker 3: to classify it? Okay, here's what I'm gonna say. I
• 9:41
Speaker 3: think there's there's inside of you. You start to know
• 9:44
Speaker 3: that you're not who you were. Okay, Now how you
• 9:48
Speaker 3: respond to that could be a number of things. Good, Okay,
• 9:51
Speaker 3: Now I'm thinking with him. I think he knows it,
• 9:57
Speaker 3: but I think there's there's because golf is different golf,
• 10:00
Speaker 3: you could you could actually have a good round right
• 10:04
Speaker 3: and and make you think like you you still you're
• 10:07
Speaker 3: still on top of the world. But I think he
• 10:11
Speaker 3: now knows himself that and nobody's telling him he can't
• 10:17
Speaker 3: be at the top. But I think in his mind
• 10:20
Speaker 3: he knows his game is not where it was and
• 10:24
Speaker 3: he does not know how to handle that. I think
• 10:28
Speaker 3: his what he's projecting to me is that is the
• 10:35
Speaker 3: is the leftover of a great athlete who doesn't know
• 10:39
Speaker 3: what else to do.
• 10:41
  Speaker 8: I mean, that's that's a good point. This is his
• 10:44
Speaker 8: second d the first seventeen I want to do.
• 10:50
Speaker 3: I'm sorry did he get convicted of that first one?
• 10:54
Speaker 4: He pleaded guilty driving.
• 10:56
Speaker 8: I'm gonna pitch a different idea here, because let me
• 10:59
Speaker 8: let me say what.
• 11:00
Speaker 3: He gotta introduce yourself, man producer.
• 11:05
Speaker 8: When he was arrested in twenty seventeen, he had five
• 11:08
Speaker 8: drugs in his system, vicing it, delauded, xanax, ambient, and THHC.
• 11:12
Speaker 8: That sounds to me like a man who's been through
• 11:15
Speaker 8: a bunch of surgeries and a bunch of pain, and
• 11:18
Speaker 8: so he's got prescription drugs and smoking a little bit
• 11:21
Speaker 8: of weed to try to deal with it.
• 11:23
Speaker 4: I think he is a drug addict.
• 11:25
  Speaker 5: I think he's in a lot of I'm gonna go
• 11:27
  Speaker 5: back to it.
• 11:29
  Speaker 3: I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna agree with it. I'm
• 11:31
Speaker 3: gonna agree with you.
• 11:33
Speaker 7: So so just to so, you're saying the injuries resulted
• 11:37
  Speaker 7: in addiction, issuear.
• 11:38
Speaker 4: I think he's got an addiction this year.
• 11:40
Speaker 3: Absolutely and I think and I think yes, and I
• 11:43
Speaker 3: agree with you, and and any of the alcohol pieces
• 11:47
Speaker 3: are just a a thing, you know, But he's gonna
• 11:52
Speaker 3: because he's and and there's probably opportunities where he has
• 11:55
Speaker 3: taken medication and probably drank two. Yeah, I mean that's
• 11:59
Speaker 3: not he didn't have alcohol.
• 12:02
Speaker 8: I don't think he's actually ever been in an accident
• 12:06
Speaker 8: or arrested for DUI where it was alcoholic every Yeah,
• 12:09
Speaker 8: it has been substances every every time.
• 12:12
Speaker 3: So is that what that then we wouldn't have to
• 12:14
Speaker 3: make the case. Then that's why he's not quote I
• 12:17
Speaker 3: mean had gone to jail in any of these situations
• 12:20
Speaker 3: or well, he still can't do that in trial.
• 12:22
Speaker 6: I understand that it's still a DUI. Yeah, but you
• 12:25
Speaker 6: look at his physical health. Tying back to what Matt said,
• 12:28
Speaker 6: I mean, he's still recovering. He had a disc replacement
• 12:31
Speaker 6: in October of twenty twenty five and a ruptured achilles
• 12:35
Speaker 6: tendon in March of twenty twenty five.
• 12:38
Speaker 5: So October twenty twenty five and.
• 12:39
Speaker 6: Then March of twenty he's had like two major surgeries
• 12:42
Speaker 6: within the past what twelve to sixteen months?
• 12:45
Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, And let me ask this question and and
• 12:47
Speaker 3: and because I don't Maybe I should know this, but
• 12:50
Speaker 3: I don't know. This is that from playing, Yeah that's
• 12:54
Speaker 3: what he did. Fack, No, I'm seeing that. I know
• 12:59
Speaker 3: that it happened during the time. You know, maybe it's
• 13:01
Speaker 3: back and all and the knee. And I know, like
• 13:06
Speaker 3: at one point he was trying to like train like
• 13:08
Speaker 3: a Navy seal, so he would be like running with
• 13:10
Speaker 3: like combat boots on. He was doing this weird training
• 13:13
Speaker 3: resident and I know that threw off some of his
• 13:15
Speaker 3: knee and maybe that contribute to the Achilles problem. And
• 13:17
Speaker 3: then obviously just swinging at golf like that at the
• 13:20
Speaker 3: velocity that he once was swinging it, that contributed to
• 13:23
  Speaker 3: the back back.
• 13:24
Speaker 8: But he started so young. I mean he was when
• 13:26
Speaker 8: he was still a child. I mean, you know, he's
• 13:29
Speaker 8: essentially been training like a pro since he was single digits.
• 13:32
Speaker 7: And so that swings the conversation differently because it swings
• 13:36
Speaker 7: to number one, how energy excuse me, how injuries ultimately
• 13:42
Speaker 7: maybe affect your mental health that can possibly.
• 13:45
Speaker 3: Lead to SUD issues and then to you.
• 13:47
Speaker 7: So we can kind of combine Matt and your point
• 13:50
Speaker 7: coach lead and now not only are you seeing the
• 13:53
Speaker 7: injury stack up. But now there is a natural depression
• 13:56
Speaker 7: because you're seeing that you're not once what you was.
• 13:59
Speaker 7: So that now that further contributes to the to the
• 14:02
Speaker 7: addiction issues, and it leads to a lot of the
• 14:04
Speaker 7: things that we've been seeing like far as you know,
• 14:07
Speaker 7: SUD and substance use disorder in athletes, suicide and athletes,
• 14:11
Speaker 7: depression in athletes, because when you have all these things combined. Again,
• 14:17
Speaker 7: I was just a Division two football player, and my
• 14:19
Speaker 7: shoulder is shocked. I'm talking about like done done right.
• 14:22
Speaker 7: Like I can barely like kind of lift on it.
• 14:25
Speaker 7: I have to be very very careful sleeping on it,
• 14:27
Speaker 7: lifting on it. So I can't imagine to your point, Matt,
• 14:30
Speaker 7: somebody who's been playing consistently since three years old. Now
• 14:34
Speaker 7: you're in your fifties and all that stuff tied up,
• 14:37
Speaker 7: sort of sort of stacked up on you. Now you
• 14:40
Speaker 7: were at the top of the mountain and now you're not.
• 14:42
Speaker 3: And to and to to a piece of that the
• 14:47
Speaker 3: way we talked about it, swing and all these kinds
• 14:50
Speaker 3: of things, the power in which all of that demanded,
• 14:56
Speaker 3: I mean, come on, like I mean that that it's
• 15:00
Speaker 3: going to be hard on your body. You know, so
• 15:03
Speaker 3: you know you can.
• 15:04
  Speaker 4: You can.
• 15:05
Speaker 3: Football causes a whole host of injuries. So when you
• 15:09
Speaker 3: look at golf, you're like, well, what could golf do?
• 15:11
Speaker 3: Play at that level? Play at that level and swing
• 15:15
Speaker 3: the swing your club like him and like some of
• 15:18
Speaker 3: the other guys do. And see over time, because not
• 15:21
Speaker 3: only are you swinging it that way when we're watching you,
• 15:25
Speaker 3: but you're you're practicing every single any any sport can
• 15:29
Speaker 3: do that if you play, if you're a professional bowler,
• 15:31
Speaker 3: I'm sure they have, you know, arm problems. And but
• 15:36
Speaker 3: but I think it again, this leads to a much
• 15:39
Speaker 3: different conversation. And I think that you know, when we
• 15:43
Speaker 3: talk about mental health issues, when we talk about SUD issues,
• 15:47
Speaker 3: we have to think about those things different in athletes.
• 15:50
Speaker 3: And it doesn't matter the level that you played. You
• 15:53
Speaker 3: could be a great high school player. Then once that's over,
• 15:56
Speaker 3: there is a natural depression that sets in once you
• 15:59
Speaker 3: know you can't do that thing that you used to
• 16:01
Speaker 3: do anymore at the level that you used to do it.
• 16:03
Speaker 3: So this is like, I think, it's a much deeper,
• 16:06
Speaker 3: maybe conversation, and and I'm fortunate enough too to say
• 16:12
Speaker 3: I I saw myself, I saw myself not being good
• 16:18
Speaker 3: enough two to keep playing, you know, and and and
• 16:23
Speaker 3: I and I saw it and and and for me,
• 16:26
Speaker 3: and so it wasn't light and the load though, well,
• 16:28
Speaker 3: it doesn't make it easier, I think, I think for me.
• 16:31
Speaker 3: I think for me it did because like I would
• 16:35
Speaker 3: have probably tried to play again. But this happened like
• 16:38
Speaker 3: midway through the season, and when and I was thinking
• 16:41
Speaker 3: to myself, man, when the season. I just can't wait
• 16:43
Speaker 3: for the season to get done because I don't want
• 16:45
Speaker 3: to ruin my career, you know, with with eight more
• 16:50
  Speaker 3: games to play, you know, I don't want I don't
• 16:52
Speaker 3: want to get everybody throwing the ball at me and
• 16:55
Speaker 3: scoring touchdowns and all that kind of stuff. But I
• 16:57
Speaker 3: knew that I just couldn't do the things that I
• 17:01
Speaker 3: had done before. And it showed up and I was like, Okay,
• 17:05
Speaker 3: I just want to get through this season and get
• 17:07
Speaker 3: out of here and and call it call it a career. Yeah.
• 17:11
Speaker 5: So I guess, excuse me.
• 17:13
Speaker 6: My question would be then is and maybe we answered
• 17:15
Speaker 6: this question already. You hear people say, you know, Tiger
• 17:18
Speaker 6: Woods has you know, disposable income beyond belief, why doesn't
• 17:23
Speaker 6: he hire a driver? So now I think what we're
• 17:26
Speaker 6: talking about, this discussion of maybe the deeper issues of
• 17:30
Speaker 6: depression and you know, the drug issues that's gonna cloud
• 17:34
Speaker 6: the way that you view, you know, getting into a
• 17:37
Speaker 6: vehicle and driving from point A to point B. To him,
• 17:40
Speaker 6: he doesn't, Yeah, so he doesn't feel like he needs
• 17:42
Speaker 6: a driver, even though most people are like, why don't
• 17:44
Speaker 6: you get a driver?
• 17:45
Speaker 5: Like that's one of the things you hear all the time.
• 17:47
Speaker 7: And then you may not want to get a driver
• 17:49
Speaker 7: because there's also that privacy issue. Right, So if I'm
• 17:52
  Speaker 7: doing all this stuff, I don't want it. I don't
• 17:56
Speaker 7: want people to know about it. If I'm going here
• 17:57
Speaker 7: to there, I get this to that I don't want
• 17:59
Speaker 7: somebody in my business. But like I said, even that point,
• 18:02
Speaker 7: there's a great point, Lisa. But also we can go
• 18:04
Speaker 7: back to the women. All those things are can be
• 18:07
Speaker 7: manifestations of a mental health issue, right, you know what
• 18:10
Speaker 7: I'm saying. And I was probably being a little bit
• 18:13
Speaker 7: you know, trying to be a little bit you know,
• 18:14
Speaker 7: funny and cavalier about it. But now that you brought
• 18:17
Speaker 7: that up, Matt, I mean we probably got to assess
• 18:19
Speaker 7: it a little different. And I think just overall, outside
• 18:22
Speaker 7: of tiger woods. We have to start to assess these
• 18:24
Speaker 7: things in athletes at all levels, because it is a
• 18:27
Speaker 7: hell of it's a hell of a thing to do
• 18:29
Speaker 7: something you've done your whole life, to put your whole
• 18:32
Speaker 7: identity behind, and now you don't get the chance to
• 18:35
Speaker 7: do that no more. And to that, and to that,
• 18:39
Speaker 7: and again i'm gonna touch on me walking away.
• 18:45
Speaker 3: I think you have to accept whatever whatever greatness that
• 18:50
Speaker 3: you had, you have to accept that as that's the
• 18:53
Speaker 3: mouthstone and for whatever whatever badness, if that's such a thing,
• 19:00
Speaker 3: you know, all the all the bad times that you
• 19:03
Speaker 3: had quote into the sport or whatever, you have to
• 19:07
Speaker 3: accept that. And when you can do that, when you
• 19:10
Speaker 3: can when you can balance those things, then I think
• 19:14
Speaker 3: it becomes an easier way to get out, to leave
• 19:18
Speaker 3: the sport. Because if you if you leave the sport
• 19:22
Speaker 3: and you still think that you're on top of the mountain.
• 19:26
Speaker 3: In most cases, a lot of folks don't leave on
• 19:29
  Speaker 3: top of the.
• 19:30
Speaker 5: Mountain, right They've stayed too long.
• 19:32
Speaker 3: They stay too long, you know, they they they have
• 19:35
Speaker 3: an average, They have an average that created yes, because
• 19:39
Speaker 3: all of a sudden, you have that average season, then
• 19:41
Speaker 3: you're going to play one more, because what do you want?
• 19:43
Speaker 3: You want to I want to be great. I want
• 19:45
Speaker 3: to leave great. And then when you go in there
• 19:49
Speaker 3: trying to be great and your body can't do it.
• 19:52
Speaker 3: And you know when you see this most is it
• 19:55
  Speaker 3: like in boxing?
• 19:56
Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's a good point.
• 19:57
Speaker 6: Boxing is Boxing is one of the perfect example of
• 20:02
Speaker 6: not giving up, not giving up.
• 20:04
Speaker 3: And assuming that you can get to the mountaintop one
• 20:07
Speaker 3: more time. And you go in there and you go
• 20:10
Speaker 3: one more time, and what is the distinction between the
• 20:13
Speaker 3: guy that's beating you. It's not necessarily he's better than you.
• 20:16
Speaker 3: He's just younger than you exactly. Yeah, and you just
• 20:20
Speaker 3: can't do all the things that you use.
• 20:23
Speaker 5: NFL quarterbacks are pretty bad about that too.
• 20:25
Speaker 6: I mean, you know that they don't know when to
• 20:27
Speaker 6: pass the torch and move it on. You know, they
• 20:29
Speaker 6: want to go to another team thinking that's the answer,
• 20:31
Speaker 6: and a lot of times they just stayed too long.
• 20:34
Speaker 7: Yeah, but again, I think it all relates back to
• 20:35
Speaker 7: mental health and we've got to start to look at
• 20:37
Speaker 7: that different now, just move on a little bit lighter. UFL,
• 20:41
Speaker 7: the United Football League is the sort of they wouldn't
• 20:45
Speaker 7: call themselves the minor league of football. But it's a
• 20:48
Speaker 7: spring football league. But I'm saying we need it, right,
• 20:52
Speaker 7: We definitely we need a different football league.
• 20:54
Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, okay, help me with.
• 20:56
Speaker 7: That, because if I'm a Division two football player, what's
• 21:00
Speaker 7: my incentive to play anymore? Like why why am I
• 21:02
Speaker 7: playing this game? And I don't have and I know
• 21:05
Speaker 7: that the finite NFL you only have so many slots,
• 21:09
Speaker 7: so you football has to expand. Football has to become
• 21:12
Speaker 7: like basketball, like baseball, where you have a different opportunity
• 21:16
Speaker 7: to play up. Well, I could possibly play in that
• 21:18
Speaker 7: league for four or five years and then get an
• 21:20
Speaker 7: NFL shot. We need like three to four I would
• 21:23
Speaker 7: say around the world, you need like five legitimate minor
• 21:27
Speaker 7: league football system. NFL needs to create a system in
• 21:30
Speaker 7: which I can get paid and possibly play my way
• 21:33
Speaker 7: up to an NFL contract. There's no path to do
• 21:35
Speaker 7: that other than the time you have in college. And
• 21:37
Speaker 7: they're gonna get they're gonna put that back down to four.
• 21:40
Speaker 7: All the transfer stuff is about to go. So it
• 21:42
Speaker 7: has to be I love this and we need to
• 21:45
Speaker 7: support it, and it has to be funded by the
• 21:48
Speaker 7: NFL to me, because there's no pathway to go. There's
• 21:51
Speaker 7: no incentive for kids to play football no more.
• 21:53
Speaker 5: I wish people could see the luck on crosson right now.
• 21:56
Speaker 7: If you if you had a son, if no, excuse me,
• 21:59
Speaker 7: if you have a grandson, niche, nephew, whatever, there's six
• 22:02
Speaker 7: five they could play receiver in football, or they could
• 22:07
Speaker 7: play basketball and be a wing just from and they're
• 22:11
Speaker 7: just equally as good in both. I'm probably gonna tell
• 22:14
Speaker 7: this play. I mean, other than your passion, let's play
• 22:17
Speaker 7: basketball because we're probably going to have a better chance
• 22:19
Speaker 7: to make money playing basketball as opposed to football. So
• 22:22
Speaker 7: you need a minor league system.
• 22:23
Speaker 3: We need it. We have to have it, Okay, I don't.
• 22:26
  Speaker 4: I don't.
• 22:26
  Speaker 3: Okay, So to that example, I don't. I don't understand
• 22:30
Speaker 3: that the lower league or the because we don't have
• 22:35
Speaker 3: a lower league in football, there's no there's minor leagues
• 22:37
Speaker 3: all up and down baseball, there's minor leagues in basketball
• 22:40
Speaker 3: all over the world. There's there's there's literally you will
• 22:43
Speaker 3: see what I'm getting ready to say, there's literally one
• 22:45
Speaker 3: minor league football. You're gonna hate what. You're gonna hate
• 22:48
Speaker 3: what I'm gonna say. College is your it's not it
• 22:55
Speaker 3: is it is, it may it may not be what
• 22:59
Speaker 3: you want it to be right now or or going forward.
• 23:03
Speaker 3: But that is where it is now. It is college
• 23:06
  Speaker 3: and now.
• 23:06
Speaker 7: But we need to expand beyond that because what we've
• 23:09
Speaker 7: seen is like everybody's complaining, Well, you got a guy
• 23:11
Speaker 7: who's twenty six and twenty seven year old playing college football.
• 23:14
Speaker 7: Where else is he supposed to play at? That's college's fault. No, no,
• 23:20
Speaker 7: it should it's the NFL's fault because they need a
• 23:23
Speaker 7: legitimate minor league system.
• 23:25
Speaker 6: All right, all right, I'm gonna I'm gonna break this little,
• 23:28
Speaker 6: this little tiff up there, hair guys. So so I'm
• 23:32
Speaker 6: going to agree with both of you to a point. Okay,
• 23:36
Speaker 6: I do agree with you, Hollis, that we need some
• 23:38
Speaker 6: type of bonor you know, league lower level for these kids,
• 23:43
Speaker 6: kind of a stepping stone between college and football. But
• 23:47
Speaker 6: I'm also with Carl and the fact that I just
• 23:50
Speaker 6: don't think the UFL or any of its predecessors.
• 23:55
Speaker 5: I mean, you think about it.
• 23:55
Speaker 6: We've had the XFL, we've had the USFL, right Car,
• 23:59
Speaker 6: all that was in your day, right the world.
• 24:02
Speaker 5: None of them have lasted long enough.
• 24:04
Speaker 6: If they all fold within two to three years before
• 24:07
Speaker 6: you even have a chance for them to become impact.
• 24:10
Speaker 7: Because they have funded by the NFL. The NFL is
• 24:12
Speaker 7: not funded any of those.
• 24:14
Speaker 5: It's being funded by NFL.
• 24:15
  Speaker 7: I think there's a partnership there, so I don't think
• 24:18
Speaker 7: it's necessarily a direct on record.
• 24:19
Speaker 6: I just remember the Province McMahon days and he lasted
• 24:23
  Speaker 6: like a year.
• 24:24
Speaker 5: I mean that was kind of And these rules now also.
• 24:27
Speaker 7: This is a this is an opportunity to test rule changes.
• 24:31
Speaker 7: So this is the four and again we've seen the
• 24:34
Speaker 7: rule changes come to the NFL.
• 24:35
Speaker 3: Okay, so before you go into your before you go
• 24:38
Speaker 3: into your rules, right, Okay, here's my here. Okay, I
• 24:41
Speaker 3: want to give you. I want to give you my
• 24:42
Speaker 3: story to the USFL. All right. I was an NFL
• 24:48
Speaker 3: guy from age seven. That's where I wanted to go. Okay,
• 24:52
Speaker 3: So I'm I'm getting calls and stuff, and you know,
• 24:57
Speaker 3: I'm thinking, I'm going to get an opportunity to play
• 24:59
Speaker 3: in the NFL. USFL guaranteeing me. They're matching, they're matching
• 25:05
Speaker 3: the money that the NFL has given me, and they
• 25:08
Speaker 3: want me to come to the USFL. I thought about it,
• 25:13
Speaker 3: but you know what I said, I said, I've spent
• 25:16
Speaker 3: my entire life wanting to go to the NFL. I
• 25:19
Speaker 3: do not want to go to something that I think
• 25:21
Speaker 3: is going to be less than so to me, the
• 25:26
Speaker 3: problem that we have is any player, no player is
• 25:32
Speaker 3: going to dream to play in that league. Their dream
• 25:35
Speaker 3: is going to always be the NFL. And and now
• 25:40
Speaker 3: you might get to go to that other league, but
• 25:42
Speaker 3: your dream, your dream is nobody is dreaming to be
• 25:46
  Speaker 3: in a.
• 25:47
Speaker 7: I think your argument is flawed in two ways. Number One,
• 25:51
Speaker 7: the no no, the USFL, the XFL. All the predecessors
• 25:57
Speaker 7: of the UFL were trying to compete with the NFL.
• 26:00
Speaker 7: They were calling themselves, we are a professional league. We
• 26:03
Speaker 7: are competing with the NFL. What this league is doing,
• 26:07
  Speaker 7: they're not doing that. They're saying, if you're a young
• 26:10
Speaker 7: coach and you want an opportunity to coach and build
• 26:13
Speaker 7: your resume, come here and then you move up. If
• 26:15
  Speaker 7: you're a player who's played college football, you don't have
• 26:18
Speaker 7: an opportunity to NFL, come here and moved up. We've
• 26:21
Speaker 7: literally seen teams signed, they have signed players. So the Redskins,
• 26:25
Speaker 7: the NFL team, have signed players who play in the
• 26:27
Speaker 7: USFL that are like on practice squads who are free agents,
• 26:31
Speaker 7: I can sign you, get some tape, and then if
• 26:33
Speaker 7: you're good enough, you can come here. This league is
• 26:35
Speaker 7: not trying to compete with the NFL. What it's saying
• 26:38
Speaker 7: is a complimentary league to say, hey, if you need reps,
• 26:42
Speaker 7: if you need to play, if you're not getting your
• 26:44
Speaker 7: opportunity you've been if you went to the training camp here,
• 26:46
Speaker 7: you didn't work out here, you can come here and play.
• 26:48
Speaker 7: We've seen players play in the Spring Football League then
• 26:51
Speaker 7: transition directly to NFL camps in the summer, and we've
• 26:55
Speaker 7: also seen so this is there's nothing this positive.
• 27:00
Speaker 3: No one that's made.
• 27:01
  Speaker 7: There's a kicker who was a pro bowler. I forget
• 27:04
Speaker 7: his name, he's a kicker who is a pro bowler.
• 27:05
Speaker 7: And there's a there was like several backup quarterbacks and
• 27:08
Speaker 7: a few running backs in the linebackers that I don't
• 27:11
Speaker 7: know their name, but they transition from the USFL to
• 27:14
Speaker 7: the NFL. And this is an opportunity for the NFL
• 27:18
Speaker 7: to test rules. So let me just go over the rules, right.
• 27:20
Speaker 3: That's the rules, all right.
• 27:21
Speaker 7: So one of the rules, several of the rules that
• 27:23
Speaker 7: they're testing out this year a four point field goal.
• 27:27
Speaker 7: So basically excuse me, a four point field goal, So
• 27:29
Speaker 7: if you kick a field goal from sixty plus, now
• 27:32
Speaker 7: it's gonna count as four.
• 27:33
Speaker 3: In the USFL, they've outlawed.
• 27:36
Speaker 7: The tush push once you pass the fifty yard line,
• 27:40
Speaker 7: So if you start to drive on the twenty twenty
• 27:42
Speaker 7: five yard line, you make it to the to your
• 27:44
Speaker 7: to your into your forty, you can no longer punt,
• 27:47
Speaker 7: so you have to go for it on fourth down.
• 27:49
Speaker 7: So it change the dynamic of your play caller. Instead
• 27:53
Speaker 7: of receivers having one foot in bound, excuse me, two
• 27:55
Speaker 7: feet in bounds at the pro, at the NFL level,
• 27:58
Speaker 7: they can have one foot. There's a overtime shootout rule.
• 28:02
Speaker 7: The format three alternative attempts from the five yard line
• 28:05
Speaker 7: for each team, and I can go more detail into
• 28:08
Speaker 7: that later. The point after the touchdown, so you can
• 28:12
Speaker 7: go for the traditional one point that's from the fifteen
• 28:16
Speaker 7: yard line. There's a two point try from the two
• 28:19
Speaker 7: yard line, and there's also a three yard excuse me,
• 28:22
Speaker 7: a three point try from the eight yard So those
• 28:25
Speaker 7: are like, you know, you got to try to get
• 28:27
Speaker 7: the quote unquote touchdown or two or the conversion. Defensive
• 28:31
Speaker 7: passing affairs they adopted the NFL rule and obviously the kickoff,
• 28:35
Speaker 7: so they moved it up five yards.
• 28:37
Speaker 3: So again this is the opportunity. So those are the new.
• 28:39
Speaker 5: Rules right right, And my question is why why are
• 28:42
  Speaker 5: they doing.
• 28:43
Speaker 7: To test them out to see how they look, to
• 28:45
Speaker 7: see if it's pliable, like we've seen the kickoff.
• 28:48
Speaker 6: Change, so they think that if they do those things.
• 28:51
Speaker 6: I mean, this is just my opinion, and I need
• 28:55
Speaker 6: to educate myself more. I'm just not a UFL fan.
• 28:58
Speaker 6: Maybe I need to watch it more often and maybe
• 29:01
Speaker 6: I would become a better fan. But some of these changes,
• 29:05
Speaker 6: it just they sound a little gimmicky, you know, And
• 29:09
Speaker 6: it's just it sounds like a ployee to get more viewership,
• 29:11
Speaker 6: which I know they need, and you know, maybe it'll work,
• 29:15
Speaker 6: maybe some people will tune in just to see how
• 29:17
  Speaker 6: it works.
• 29:17
  Speaker 7: I don't think it's a ployed I don't think it's
• 29:19
Speaker 7: a gimmick. I think the NFL is saying once y'all tried,
• 29:23
Speaker 7: is to see how this plays and see how.
• 29:24
Speaker 6: The NFL make those kind of changes. Those are pretty fun.
• 29:27
Speaker 6: I mean, all know all I'm talking about all of those,
• 29:30
  Speaker 6: all of it.
• 29:30
Speaker 8: But let me give you a good comparison here major
• 29:33
  Speaker 8: league baseball. That's that's my sport, that's what I follow.
• 29:36
Speaker 8: In recent years, they've implemented the pitch class clock. Where
• 29:40
Speaker 8: did they start that. They didn't start that in Major
• 29:42
Speaker 8: League baseball. They tested it in minor league baseball. And
• 29:47
Speaker 8: that's the perfect example. A lot of the world changes
• 29:49
Speaker 8: they've done in the major leagues have come from the minors.
• 29:53
Speaker 8: Same thing here when it comes to bringing players in
• 29:56
Speaker 8: when you sign I knew somebody. I worked with him
• 30:00
Speaker 8: out of high school. He was from Buffalo, West Virginia,
• 30:02
Speaker 8: and he got signed to be a pitcher for the
• 30:05
Speaker 8: Arizona Diamondbacks. Now he went into the minor leagues, but
• 30:08
Speaker 8: he got a seven hundred thousand dollars contract, yeah, as an.
• 30:11
Speaker 5: Eighteen year old, which is awesome.
• 30:13
Speaker 8: In the Diamondbacks organization. And then literally clocked out and
• 30:17
Speaker 8: quit his job at Walmart and that was it. He
• 30:19
Speaker 8: was off working for the Diamondbacks, but he was in
• 30:23
Speaker 8: the pros from that point on. So you know, that
• 30:27
Speaker 8: minor league system, I mean, not only does it give
• 30:30
Speaker 8: you place where you can find talented, qualified players, but
• 30:35
Speaker 8: you can try out all of this kind of stuff.
• 30:37
Speaker 8: That's the perfect place.
• 30:38
Speaker 5: It just seems like allotted for all at once.
• 30:41
Speaker 6: That baby, I don't know. It just sounds like it
• 30:42
Speaker 6: changes the fundamentals of the game.
• 30:44
Speaker 5: Carl, you're the player. Come on.
• 30:46
Speaker 7: But they but one thing they changed from the UFL
• 30:50
Speaker 7: is the kickoff. So now there's no head of the collision.
• 30:53
Speaker 7: You start ten yards apart and then you kick it.
• 30:55
Speaker 7: So that's one fundamental change. It just to put a
• 30:58
Speaker 7: pin in my point. There's been a hundred Spring league
• 31:01
Speaker 7: players included in the NFL rosters from twenty twenty two.
• 31:04
Speaker 3: One hundred. That's a difference, and that's an opportunity.
• 31:07
Speaker 5: It is an opportunity.
• 31:08
Speaker 3: Well, okay, I get it as it's an opportunity, and
• 31:13
Speaker 3: that you you make the team, you're you're on the roster.
• 31:20
  Speaker 3: I just don't know. I and again me being a
• 31:24
Speaker 3: lucky guy to to to make a roster out of
• 31:28
Speaker 3: a seventh round pick. So like, so I'm not that
• 31:31
Speaker 3: guy up here, I'm that guy who's down here at
• 31:34
Speaker 3: the bottom. So I can I can I can come
• 31:38
Speaker 3: back and then say, well I didn't have to be
• 31:40
Speaker 3: at the bottom. I think you know, my my career
• 31:43
Speaker 3: speaks and says that I could have maybe been a
• 31:45
Speaker 3: little higher, And so maybe they got it wrong. So
• 31:48
Speaker 3: to your point of the recruitment of athletes, it is flawed.
• 31:54
Speaker 3: I do know. I think I think the way we
• 31:57
Speaker 3: recruit because crew or you're talking about like me, get
• 32:00
Speaker 3: to get to the prok, you know, to get in
• 32:03
Speaker 3: the way they draft, you know, it's it's it's not
• 32:07
Speaker 3: it's not really science, but they but they tried. They
• 32:11
Speaker 3: try to make it science like they try to make
• 32:13
Speaker 3: it that they that they've done all the research. Because
• 32:15
Speaker 3: if you did all the research, you would never have
• 32:18
Speaker 3: a seventh round pick. When when when the draft was
• 32:21
Speaker 3: like twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, whatever it was, you're not
• 32:24
Speaker 3: gonna You're that seventh round guy is not gonna be
• 32:26
  Speaker 3: on your roster.
• 32:27
  Speaker 7: That's I disagree with that, because you it's certain, it's
• 32:29
  Speaker 7: certain intangibles like I can't I can't account for I
• 32:33
Speaker 7: can't account for this, and this is the story you told.
• 32:36
Speaker 7: I can't account for you being in the root of
• 32:39
Speaker 7: roommate for somebody who's clearly more talented than you but
• 32:42
Speaker 7: drunk himself out the league. Maybe I can't account for
• 32:44
Speaker 7: somebody who's just gonna work harder than the other person
• 32:47
Speaker 7: that I drafted in.
• 32:48
  Speaker 3: The first round. I can't. I can't account for that.
• 32:51
  Speaker 3: But you're but you're but you're counting. Yes, but you're
• 32:54
Speaker 3: but you took the risk to draft him.
• 32:56
Speaker 7: It doesn't matter because all the metrics said that he
• 32:59
Speaker 7: was better than you, but that didn't turn out to
• 33:01
Speaker 7: be true. And what I'm trying to say is that
• 33:03
Speaker 7: if we need a minor league system in football, we
• 33:06
  Speaker 7: need it.
• 33:06
Speaker 6: And and I totally agree with that point, Hallis, I
• 33:09
Speaker 6: totally agree. But is this the right venue, because like
• 33:12
Speaker 6: you said, I mean, and now I'm talking about just
• 33:14
Speaker 6: the league and this this whole UFL.
• 33:17
  Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't set that. That's what I'm saying. I'm
• 33:20
Speaker 5: not saying that it's not needed.
• 33:22
Speaker 6: Having some type of a level in between college and
• 33:26
Speaker 6: the NFL. That that's totally needed. And I'm just wondering.
• 33:29
Speaker 5: If this is the appropriate group. I don't know. I
• 33:34
Speaker 5: don't know what league league, right.
• 33:36
  Speaker 3: Yes, that's okay.
• 33:37
  Speaker 4: I mean.
• 33:39
  Speaker 5: I think I just think it's skimmicky. I think you.
• 33:42
Speaker 3: Have to be I think it should come from if
• 33:44
Speaker 3: you're gonna do it, it needs to come from the inside.
• 33:48
Speaker 3: It needs to come from inside of the NFL.
• 33:50
Speaker 7: The NFL has already said they're not going to do
• 33:52
Speaker 7: They're not going to flip the bill holistically, they're not
• 33:55
Speaker 7: gonna put the NFL's already. They clearly made that statement
• 33:57
Speaker 7: and made that distinction because liability and probably a.
• 34:00
Speaker 5: Bunch of the money.
• 34:04
  Speaker 7: But it's also but they've they've come to a sweet
• 34:07
  Speaker 7: spot with the u f f L because number one,
• 34:11
  Speaker 7: there is I don't I would, I don't want to
• 34:14
Speaker 7: go as far as they're saying they're subsidizing, but I
• 34:16
Speaker 7: would imagine there's some some back door help that's being
• 34:20
Speaker 7: able to stabilize the league. And number two, what they're
• 34:23
Speaker 7: realizing is development, and particularly at the quarterback position, because
• 34:26
Speaker 7: there's a few quarterbacks that have made the transition from
• 34:29
Speaker 7: the USFL, because that's the one position in which you
• 34:32
Speaker 7: need more reps, you.
• 34:33
Speaker 3: Need more time. I think of a guy like.
• 34:37
Speaker 7: The quarterback for for for for the Colts, kid from Florida.
• 34:44
Speaker 7: You know what I'm talking about. He kid from Florida.
• 34:48
Speaker 7: He's very he's looking it up for us. Very talented guy,
• 34:52
Speaker 7: but clearly just didn't have enough. I think he played
• 34:55
Speaker 7: none of the backup from Florida. Clearly just didn't have
• 35:01
Speaker 7: enough reps. Right, So so no No, he's a free
• 35:06
Speaker 7: from Florida, black kid from Florida.
• 35:10
  Speaker 4: Failing me here.
• 35:13
Speaker 7: Sometimes backup quarterback from from from Florida. But clearly just
• 35:18
Speaker 7: didn't have enough reps. Right, So in a situation, like
• 35:20
Speaker 7: a perfect world, you could send him to the USFL,
• 35:23
Speaker 7: get a season under your belt, get more reps, and
• 35:26
  Speaker 7: then come back.
• 35:27
Speaker 4: Anthony Richards, Anthony Richards third.
• 35:30
Speaker 3: Okay, but I can, I can, I can make the
• 35:34
Speaker 3: case playing I played a different position in college than
• 35:39
Speaker 3: I did pro and in in my time in making
• 35:45
Speaker 3: that switch, there's enough time gotta get out of you
• 35:50
Speaker 3: though this ain't this, ain't this ain't you and this is.
• 35:52
Speaker 7: A different eraror you didn't have time, there was no
• 35:55
Speaker 7: other choice number one, and you were a good enough
• 35:58
Speaker 7: athlete that you can make the transition.
• 36:02
  Speaker 3: But but I think, I think I just don't. I
• 36:06
Speaker 3: just don't know, like I just don't know how to
• 36:09
Speaker 3: buy into it being creating a systematical.
• 36:14
Speaker 7: Way to make sure we get to Okay, Well, let
• 36:15
Speaker 7: me ask you this. Every other league has a minor
• 36:18
Speaker 7: league system of self football. Why every other league every
• 36:22
Speaker 7: other sport that's soccer, tennis, hockey, baseball, basketball, NASCAR, all
• 36:31
Speaker 7: these have a symbolis of a minor league team.
• 36:33
Speaker 3: Excuse me, league a set of football. Why, probably the
• 36:36
Speaker 3: owners don't want to spend.
• 36:37
Speaker 8: The money where it is.
• 36:39
Speaker 3: But that doesn't say we don't need it.
• 36:42
  Speaker 5: I need it.
• 36:44
Speaker 6: And that's what's concerning about the UFL because Major League
• 36:48
Speaker 6: Baseball they have all their their you know, lower level leagues,
• 36:51
Speaker 6: and they own them. I mean they they you know,
• 36:53
Speaker 6: they have ownership. They say, you know, these kids go
• 36:56
Speaker 6: to this team whenever they make the big leagues. And
• 36:59
Speaker 6: with with the UFL, the NFL says, oh, okay, that's cool,
• 37:03
Speaker 6: We'll take some of your players when they're ready, but
• 37:05
Speaker 6: we're not going to help you out.
• 37:06
Speaker 5: We're not going to own you.
• 37:07
Speaker 6: We're not going to look at you like the Major
• 37:09
Speaker 6: League Baseball looks at their minor leagues.
• 37:11
Speaker 5: Does that make sense.
• 37:12
Speaker 3: They don't have a relationship, but they got a relationship,
• 37:14
Speaker 3: so they don't have ownership.
• 37:16
Speaker 7: They got a relationship because obviously they're influencing these like
• 37:20
Speaker 7: just playing with the rules. These aren't coming.
• 37:22
Speaker 3: Would you would you be would you be okay with
• 37:25
Speaker 3: let's say in the Vikings had a team, the Vikings,
• 37:28
Speaker 3: it's the Minnesota Vikings. And then there is a Vikings
• 37:34
Speaker 3: sub team, right, okay, because here's the part of the
• 37:40
Speaker 3: transition and part of the hard the hardest part of
• 37:43
Speaker 3: the transition is what you did in college versus what
• 37:46
Speaker 3: you're going to do in the pros. A lot of
• 37:48
Speaker 3: players can't make that transition. They can't they can't do
• 37:51
Speaker 3: the things that they're being asked to do at a
• 37:54
Speaker 3: level that they need to play. So if you gave
• 37:59
Speaker 3: them an opportunity to advance, you know, so practice could
• 38:05
Speaker 3: be with the team you but you could still be playing.
• 38:08
Speaker 3: But that's what this is and trying to no, no,
• 38:12
Speaker 3: I'm trying to work with you. I'm I'm working my
• 38:15
Speaker 3: way back to you to be with you.
• 38:17
  Speaker 4: Okay.
• 38:19
Speaker 3: I wanted to have a little love after this show,
• 38:21
Speaker 3: so I can. I can understand if you. But I
• 38:28
Speaker 3: think those guys have to be designated to a team.
• 38:32
Speaker 3: I think some of them are.
• 38:33
  Speaker 4: You know.
• 38:34
Speaker 3: And if you do that, then that they have an
• 38:36
Speaker 3: opportunity I think to learn that system. But again, some
• 38:43
Speaker 3: of those guys, everybody's not gonna make it in that group,
• 38:46
Speaker 3: you know, And so you're gonna get cut and are
• 38:51
Speaker 3: you gonna go somewhere else.
• 38:52
  Speaker 4: Or like what?
• 38:53
Speaker 7: I just don't think I think this is kind of
• 38:56
Speaker 7: wild to me that this would be like, because this
• 38:58
  Speaker 7: is just such.
• 38:59
  Speaker 3: A win win.
• 39:00
Speaker 7: If you're a player coming from state or UC, yeah,
• 39:03
Speaker 7: your dream is to go to the NFL. But if
• 39:05
Speaker 7: that doesn't happen, now I can go somewhere else, get
• 39:08
Speaker 7: health insurance. Because they get a health insurance. They make
• 39:11
Speaker 7: seventy five thousand dollars a year playing in this league.
• 39:14
Speaker 7: So I make seventy five grand, not a whole, not
• 39:16
Speaker 7: all the money in the world, but it's a start.
• 39:20
Speaker 7: I have the opportunity to audition openly auditioned, because the
• 39:24
Speaker 7: UFL is not saying where you got to stay here.
• 39:27
Speaker 7: They're saying, hey, go sign with that team if you
• 39:29
Speaker 7: can sign with him, if you can get an NFL contract,
• 39:31
Speaker 7: or maybe even Canada if you can get up there.
• 39:33
Speaker 7: So I got the opportunity to make a little money
• 39:36
Speaker 7: after college. I got the opportunity to get health care.
• 39:38
Speaker 7: I got opportunity to get tape to go to a team.
• 39:42
  Speaker 7: And I also there's a guy who I think he
• 39:46
Speaker 7: coaches the Columbus team. He's from West Virginia. Beckler I
• 39:49
Speaker 7: think is his name. He was a former tight end
• 39:51
Speaker 7: for West Virginia So now if I'm a coach, I
• 39:54
Speaker 7: got the opportunity, say, if I want to go to coaching,
• 39:57
Speaker 7: and again only so many slots available, and I don't
• 39:59
Speaker 7: get a good d one job or don't get an
• 40:02
Speaker 7: NFL job, then I can go there, get my bones,
• 40:05
Speaker 7: start coaching there, and then work my way up. So
• 40:07
Speaker 7: on the coaching side, the GM side, the player side,
• 40:10
Speaker 7: the player development, I got the opportunity to go work, learn,
• 40:15
Speaker 7: and then move on.
• 40:16
Speaker 3: This is a win win. The only person that is
• 40:19
Speaker 3: not a win win is going to be to the
• 40:21
Speaker 3: GM and the owner. No it's not, yes, it is
• 40:24
Speaker 3: how because they don't want to pay. What do you
• 40:26
Speaker 3: mean they're not gonna want to pay.
• 40:28
Speaker 7: You're talking about the NFF, talking about the GM, of
• 40:31
  Speaker 7: the of the's.
• 40:31
Speaker 5: Talking about the UL album.
• 40:33
Speaker 3: I'm not talking about the Okay, Okay.
• 40:36
Speaker 6: They stay financially afloat because it's it's obviously been a
• 40:39
Speaker 6: problem when you have to merge two leagues to stay up,
• 40:43
Speaker 6: you're you know, keep your head above water. So I mean,
• 40:46
Speaker 6: I think it's a great opportunity for the kids. Like
• 40:48
Speaker 6: you're you're talking about hollists that they get paid, they
• 40:50
Speaker 6: get insurance. But we've seen Historically, these leagues don't last.
• 40:55
Speaker 6: I mean that not one has lasted more than two
• 40:57
  Speaker 6: or three years.
• 40:58
Speaker 4: Because they don't make money.
• 40:59
Speaker 7: They don't mind man, and I think they've always tried
• 41:02
Speaker 7: to be a competitor to the NFL. And I don't
• 41:05
Speaker 7: think that's what this.
• 41:05
Speaker 5: League is doing. Well, then I hope that's the So
• 41:08
  Speaker 5: if you.
• 41:08
Speaker 3: Put them together, if you, if so, if the NFL
• 41:11
Speaker 3: is going to to co sponsor or sponsor, okay, then
• 41:19
Speaker 3: the question, the question becomes.
• 41:22
Speaker 5: Ideal, which would be ideal?
• 41:24
Speaker 3: It would be you know, if they if they, if
• 41:26
Speaker 3: they Viking team, and but that's not where we're at.
• 41:31
  Speaker 4: Though.
• 41:31
Speaker 7: Where we're at is the NFL. I think they understand
• 41:36
Speaker 7: they need this league now. Again, whether they're at the
• 41:39
Speaker 7: point where they want to break bread and actually become
• 41:42
Speaker 7: financially involved is one thing. But they're But the NFL
• 41:46
Speaker 7: realizes we need this team, we need this league, we
• 41:49
  Speaker 7: need them.
• 41:50
Speaker 3: The owners will never bow down there. I don't think they.
• 41:53
Speaker 7: I think they don't have a choice no more, because
• 41:56
Speaker 7: you need this league. College football needs this league because
• 42:00
Speaker 7: because again, you don't want twenty eight year old dudes
• 42:03
Speaker 7: out here playing college football no more. Nobody wants that
• 42:06
Speaker 7: in the NFL owners saying we don't have we don't
• 42:09
Speaker 7: have an opportunity to test rules. We need a place
• 42:12
Speaker 7: where we can say, is this rule, how does this
• 42:14
Speaker 7: rule look in action?
• 42:15
  Speaker 3: How does it?
• 42:16
Speaker 7: How does this feel an action? And I would think
• 42:19
Speaker 7: also from if I'm an opener, understandpoint, because it's going
• 42:21
Speaker 7: to become a time and there's going to be another strike,
• 42:23
Speaker 7: there's gonna be another walk out, there's gonna be another
• 42:26
Speaker 7: stop at your play, like there's about to be with
• 42:28
Speaker 7: the referees potentially, and now we can say, okay, y'all
• 42:31
Speaker 7: want to stop, y'all come over here and play. So
• 42:34
Speaker 7: so this league it's needed now. Again, I think it's
• 42:38
Speaker 7: going to take the owners a while to catch up
• 42:40
Speaker 7: financially to actually invest in it.
• 42:42
  Speaker 3: But after a.
• 42:43
Speaker 7: Few years, if they seeing it as sustainable, they're gonna say, okay,
• 42:47
Speaker 7: we're gonna start figuring out some sort of partnership where
• 42:49
  Speaker 7: there's a direct team.
• 42:50
Speaker 3: The team, or it's just league the league. But they
• 42:53
Speaker 3: have to have this league. We need it. I want to.
• 42:57
  Speaker 4: I want to.
• 42:59
Speaker 3: We don't have time. I got you to Final four,
• 43:01
Speaker 3: but I want to fight this. It get so let
• 43:04
Speaker 3: us take a quick break and we'll be right back.

Speaker 7: that argument. All right, so we do have to come
• 44:07
Speaker 7: back to that. We got a uh, we got the
• 44:09
Speaker 7: final four coming up. We had a crazy game Buzzer
• 44:13
Speaker 7: beat It with two historic programs, Duke and Yukon Yukon
• 44:17
Speaker 7: was able to pull off that. I mean, that was
• 44:19
Speaker 7: what a darning shot that from the lower There's.
• 44:22
Speaker 6: A clip that only lasts like a minute from the
• 44:24
Speaker 6: announcer of the Yukon Huskies. If we want to listen
• 44:27
Speaker 6: to it, it's really pretty cool.
• 44:29
Speaker 3: Yeah, left to go.
• 44:31
Speaker 10: They're trying to steal and pluck this thing away on
• 44:33
Speaker 10: the inbound pass cam boozer not gonna be found right away?
• 44:36
Speaker 10: What's going on here? Where is the foul? Oh my goodness,
• 44:39
Speaker 10: it's gonna be stolen. This could be for the win.
• 44:42
  Speaker 10: Shot from downtown.
• 44:44
Speaker 11: Oh my god, this shot point to go seven day,
• 44:49
Speaker 11: three to seven, they too, Yo, can't just nailed a bucket?
• 44:53
Speaker 11: Oh my goodness, point three left to go.
• 44:56
Speaker 3: You have got to be kidding me.
• 44:59
Speaker 5: Now, I was like my porch last night.
• 45:02
Speaker 3: You know, sometimes there's there are there are people who
• 45:05
Speaker 3: just will do that. They'll get there that excitement. That
• 45:09
Speaker 3: was excitement right there. Yeah, that's what it's all about. Yeah, Yeah,
• 45:14
Speaker 3: I think. I think when you when you start talking
• 45:16
Speaker 3: about like march madness and you start talking about games
• 45:18
Speaker 3: like that, I don't know how you don't grow an
• 45:23
Speaker 3: audience because you got folks who are like mad that
• 45:26
  Speaker 3: they didn't see it, you know, and they're they're they're
• 45:28
Speaker 3: trying to catch it on the ESPN. They're trying to
• 45:30
Speaker 3: catch it for wherever they can find it. That is
• 45:33
Speaker 3: really what you start.
• 45:34
Speaker 6: And I bet you, Hollis you probably like tuned in
• 45:37
Speaker 6: and out of that game because it was such a
• 45:39
Speaker 6: like a big deficit. Like me, they really had the
• 45:42
Speaker 6: what was it nineteen points they came back from I
• 45:44
Speaker 6: think yeah, And like.
• 45:45
Speaker 3: I said, it's just a testament of Yukon.
• 45:46
Speaker 7: Like I love coach Hurley, I love what how you know,
• 45:49
Speaker 7: he's bringing that old school sort of gritty, grimy sort.
• 45:53
Speaker 3: Of never never, never love never, You're never out, You're
• 45:57
  Speaker 3: never out.
• 45:58
Speaker 7: So so in the final four, we got Illinois for
• 46:01
Speaker 7: number was that number three Illinois versus number two Yukon
• 46:05
Speaker 7: And then we got two number one, so we got
• 46:07
  Speaker 7: Michigan in Arizona.
• 46:08
Speaker 3: So who we got going to the.
• 46:10
Speaker 5: Chip let me go first? Which which game? Both?
• 46:14
Speaker 3: So yeah, we got to Illinois Yukon.
• 46:16
Speaker 6: Okay, uh well uh you know, Yukon seeking what their
• 46:19
Speaker 6: third title in four seasons, and after that win, I mean,
• 46:22
Speaker 6: they've just got the magic, they got the ma jugger ones.
• 46:24
Speaker 5: So I'm going I'm going to.
• 46:27
Speaker 7: Mission. I'll go Yukon on that too. Michigan Arizona. M
• 46:30
Speaker 7: M my man was talking a little smack. He was saying,
• 46:33
Speaker 7: this is the best Michigan team ever.
• 46:36
  Speaker 5: Arizona's good.
• 46:37
Speaker 3: I'm gonna I'm gonna lean the Arizona Arizona.
• 46:40
Speaker 6: They've got a nice blend of like their depth, Like
• 46:43
Speaker 6: they've got like a veteran and freshman, like a good combination.
• 46:47
Speaker 5: So I mean, I'm thinking Arizona.
• 46:49
Speaker 3: That's he's going the other way. I think I'm going Michigan.
• 46:52
  Speaker 3: I'll go Michigan.
• 46:53
  Speaker 4: I'll go.
• 46:54
Speaker 3: Let me just quickly, I know we gotta go.
• 46:56
Speaker 7: But uh, ship, you think the NBA should do something
• 46:59
Speaker 7: like this worst kind of a one game elimination instead
• 47:01
Speaker 7: of the long John.
• 47:03
Speaker 5: Would be all over that, Yeah, all over it. I'm
• 47:06
Speaker 5: with you on like, but they wouldn't make the money.
• 47:08
Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm right, and that's the professional sports thing
• 47:11
Speaker 3: is making the money. Yeah yeah, yeah, But it would
• 47:14
Speaker 3: be exciting if you had like a you know, a
• 47:16
Speaker 3: two month long you know, NBA championships.
• 47:19
Speaker 5: I think it would be super cool. So, uh, I
• 47:21
Speaker 5: think we have a few minutes.
• 47:22
Speaker 6: We wanted to mention talk a little bit about a
• 47:27
Speaker 6: player that tragically passed away that was one of Carl's teammates.
• 47:33
Speaker 6: He was a member of the Ring of Honor for
• 47:36
Speaker 6: the Minnesota Vikings, was inducted in twenty thirteen. His name
• 47:41
Speaker 6: is Joey Browner. I'll just give a little background on him,
• 47:45
Speaker 6: and then I'm gonna let Carl talk about, you know,
• 47:48
Speaker 6: what it was like to play with him.
• 47:52
  Speaker 4: He was a.
• 47:53
Speaker 6: Minnesota Viking from nineteen eighty three to nineteen ninety one.
• 47:56
Speaker 6: He had six consecutive Pro Bowls. He was drafted nineteenth
• 48:02
Speaker 6: overall in eighty three. And please correct me if I'm wrong, Carl,
• 48:06
Speaker 6: and he's you know, you had that reputation of being
• 48:08
Speaker 6: a hard hitting They caught him a samurai style of safety.
• 48:13
Speaker 5: So tell us about what it was like to play
• 48:15
  Speaker 5: with him, Carl.
• 48:15
Speaker 3: He had he had a black belt. Yeah, so that
• 48:20
Speaker 3: that's that is some of that. The most mild manner
• 48:26
Speaker 3: dude that you can You can imagine if you see
• 48:29
Speaker 3: him off the off the field, and it's and really
• 48:33
Speaker 3: it's and I can see him and and and see
• 48:39
Speaker 3: myself speaking to him and him saying, hey, seely, how
• 48:42
Speaker 3: you doing? You know, and I don't know if I
• 48:45
Speaker 3: ever really heard his voice loud, I never really seen him.
• 48:52
Speaker 3: I've seen him react, and like I said, he he
• 48:56
Speaker 3: had all kinds of belts and JIU JITPSU and all
• 48:59
Speaker 3: that kind of stuff like so he was he was
• 49:02
Speaker 3: not the guy that you wanted to to mess with.
• 49:05
Speaker 3: He wasn't the guy you wanted to get into a
• 49:06
Speaker 3: fight with. It but it was it was.
• 49:09
  Speaker 4: It was.
• 49:10
Speaker 3: It was you have all of this, but he had
• 49:12
Speaker 3: the personality that was just a calmness. And on the field,
• 49:19
Speaker 3: he's the only player that I have ever played with
• 49:23
Speaker 3: where the entire defense is solely built around him. Wow
• 49:32
Speaker 3: him as a strong safety. Anybody who's played a strong
• 49:35
Speaker 3: safety position or know anything about defense, Joey was never
• 49:39
Speaker 3: in that position. He was standing on the line of scrimmage,
• 49:44
Speaker 3: inside sometimes of the tight end, over top of a
• 49:48
  Speaker 3: tackle and he's gonna he's gonna make a play. He's
• 49:53
Speaker 3: going in at the quarterback. We're gonna put somebody else
• 49:56
Speaker 3: in that drop because he wasn't He wasn't a drop guy.
• 50:00
Speaker 3: He was a guy that was so athletic you had
• 50:03
Speaker 3: he had to be a dB, but it was so
• 50:06
Speaker 3: physical that you had to put him somewhere where he
• 50:09
  Speaker 3: could have contact.
• 50:11
  Speaker 4: So that's.
• 50:12
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that's what it sounds like.
• 50:15
Speaker 3: He's just he and and he didn't even he didn't
• 50:20
Speaker 3: even come across at any given time that I've known,
• 50:26
Speaker 3: did he ever even flicker like he thought he was
• 50:30
  Speaker 3: a great player?
• 50:31
  Speaker 5: Wow?
• 50:32
Speaker 3: Like he never all the Pro Bowls, that the the
• 50:37
Speaker 3: Pro Bowls that I was with him, like he's the
• 50:40
Speaker 3: he's the best dude. You would not when you think
• 50:45
Speaker 3: of somebody being the best dudent and and being in
• 50:48
Speaker 3: the Pro Bowl, being in Hawaii, you're thinking, like, you know,
• 50:51
Speaker 3: you you're gonna be the big dog.
• 50:52
Speaker 5: Right, nothing, not not any of that.
• 50:58
  Speaker 3: I don't think again, I don't just stop. Yes, okay,
• 51:03
Speaker 3: like you if you walked by him, Hey see Lee,
• 51:08
Speaker 3: how you doing? Man, I'm good, joe you know, become
• 51:11
Speaker 3: Joey b. I'm good joeybe. If we were gonna have
• 51:15
Speaker 3: an argument, it was gonna sound like that he he
• 51:19
Speaker 3: wasn't gonna do anything. And I seen him throw his
• 51:23
Speaker 3: hands up a couple of times, you know, and because
• 51:26
Speaker 3: he's fighting with a lineman and an offensive lineman, and
• 51:30
Speaker 3: you make the case that they didn't really want that.
• 51:34
  Speaker 4: He was.
• 51:35
Speaker 3: He was the kind of guy that's so quiet. So
• 51:39
Speaker 3: again sixty three, sixty four, two thirty and four or.
• 51:44
Speaker 6: Five kind of guy and in fact really.
• 51:48
Speaker 3: Quick, yes, who wants to deal with that? And it's
• 51:51
Speaker 3: just so, it's just so it's so gut riching wrenching
• 51:54
Speaker 3: that you know, I have to think that he's gone.
• 51:59
Speaker 3: And I can remember the last time that I saw him.
• 52:01
Speaker 3: He didn't like he wasn't sure like who I was,
• 52:04
Speaker 3: because like I walked up and I was like, hey, Joeb,
• 52:06
  Speaker 3: how you doing.
• 52:07
  Speaker 4: Man?
• 52:07
Speaker 3: He was like, oh, I'm good. And I was like,
• 52:10
Speaker 3: cee lee man, oh yeah, yeah yeah, and wrapped up
• 52:13
Speaker 3: and that was That was quite a few years ago.
• 52:16
Speaker 3: And then even in his history, his family's history, you know,
• 52:21
Speaker 3: there's a ton of athletes in that in that family,
• 52:24
  Speaker 3: and man, there's there's like I think there's two or
• 52:26
Speaker 3: three I think have all passed, not the whole the
• 52:29
  Speaker 3: whole group hasn't passed, but there's I think there's been
• 52:32
Speaker 3: three other ones that have brothers that have passed. And
• 52:36
Speaker 3: it's just and it's just too young, man. It's just
• 52:39
Speaker 3: it's just it's just hard to it's hard to fathom,
• 52:43
Speaker 3: it's hard to go back. It's gonna be hard to
• 52:46
Speaker 3: go back to Minnesota and and go to the facility
• 52:49
Speaker 3: and and you know, see his pictures and stuff like that,
• 52:53
Speaker 3: and and and him not be there. And I don't know,
• 52:57
Speaker 3: it's just gonna be It's gonna be tough, man. But
• 52:59
Speaker 3: I wish his family well, and you know, I hope
• 53:02
Speaker 3: he just rest in peace and just know that he
• 53:05
Speaker 3: was a He was a truly loved guy in spite
• 53:09
Speaker 3: of his complexities and as a person. I don't know
• 53:13
Speaker 3: that he thought about that. I don't know if he
• 53:16
Speaker 3: was aware of how people felt about him and even
• 53:19
Speaker 3: how they ranked him. I don't think ranking him as
• 53:22
Speaker 3: the best strong safety you know ever inviting history in
• 53:27
Speaker 3: my book, and could compete against anybody in the league.
• 53:31
Speaker 3: I just don't know if it even mattered to him.
• 53:35
Speaker 6: So so I've read some things that some people believe
• 53:38
Speaker 6: that he belongs in Canton.
• 53:39
Speaker 5: Do you do you do you feel that way?
• 53:41
Speaker 3: Or I'll say it this way. If there's a strong
• 53:45
Speaker 3: safety in camp, Joey Brown belongs there. Okay, I don't
• 53:50
Speaker 3: care who he is. Yeah, there's just no there's just
• 53:54
Speaker 3: there's no way of how he played right, whether it's
• 54:00
Speaker 3: the physicality of it, whether it's the speed of it.
• 54:05
Speaker 3: He could do anything. He covered tight ends, he blistered,
• 54:10
  Speaker 3: he beat linemen.
• 54:13
Speaker 5: So we we have some homework to do. We need
• 54:14
Speaker 5: to go back and watch some clips.
• 54:16
Speaker 3: Of Yeah, I'm telling you he is a special kind
• 54:22
Speaker 3: of dude. And I'll say this and Hollis you you
• 54:27
Speaker 3: you'll understand this clearly. No matter what the defense was,
• 54:34
Speaker 3: it didn't matter to him what the defense really was.
• 54:37
Speaker 3: He was going to make a play. He could have
• 54:39
Speaker 3: been totally he could have been totally in the wrong position,
• 54:45
Speaker 3: but he was going to make a play.
• 54:47
  Speaker 4: Yeah.
• 54:49
Speaker 3: I played against a couple again, not not at that level,
• 54:52
Speaker 3: but a couple of dudes I played with wo like
• 54:53
  Speaker 3: like that.
• 54:54
Speaker 7: They just line up kind of anywhere and they play
• 54:58
Speaker 7: kind of inside and outside. The con finds of the
• 55:00
Speaker 7: structure of the defense. Yes, and they're able to like
• 55:04
Speaker 7: make a play like that. Those are always just the
• 55:06
Speaker 7: most irritating guys because you can never get a read
• 55:09
Speaker 7: on strong safety goes to the strong side of the
• 55:13
Speaker 7: field and he's supposed to have the containment outside of
• 55:16
Speaker 7: the outside back or if he doesn't have to drop,
• 55:20
Speaker 7: we put Joey. They put Joey on the line, put
• 55:22
Speaker 7: the tight end or to and put the tackle on
• 55:25
Speaker 7: the outside. He could cover the tight end over him,
• 55:29
Speaker 7: and and and just and just rush.
• 55:32
Speaker 3: It's like who's and who's gonna stop us?
• 55:33
Speaker 7: It's like those those are the type of guys that
• 55:35
Speaker 7: are just and again it's it's hard to find guys
• 55:38
Speaker 7: like this, but they're so instinctial. Yes, and on defense
• 55:42
Speaker 7: is different because, like I said, you have to you're
• 55:45
Speaker 7: playing within the confines of the scheme, but you're something
• 55:48
Speaker 7: you're playing out of it offensively, you don't necessarily have
• 55:51
  Speaker 7: that liberty.
• 55:52
Speaker 3: Because you have to kind of run the play and
• 55:55
Speaker 3: you can deviate, Yeah, you can deviate.
• 55:57
Speaker 7: But you're not necessarily just going with outside of the scope.
• 56:01
Speaker 7: So when you have those guys who can play almost simultaneously,
• 56:04
Speaker 7: play inside and outside, you know, the confines of the
• 56:08
Speaker 7: of the scheme, those are really really special guys. Like
• 56:11
Speaker 7: I'm saying, I would compare them to Troy Polamalo.
• 56:15
Speaker 3: So, like I said, I wish his family the best
• 56:18
Speaker 3: and Joey rest in peace. Man, I love you and
• 56:22
Speaker 3: we'll go from here.
• 56:23
  Speaker 4: All right.
• 56:24
Speaker 3: We are out of here, ladies and gentlemen.
• 56:25
  Speaker 7: Thank you
