• 0:12
Speaker 2: Last night in Philadelphia, Colorado crashed against the Flyers in

  Speaker 2: a 3-2 loss.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: Tonight, it's time to get back in the saddle.
• 0:19
Speaker 2: Well, despite the fact that Colorado was able to score
• 0:22
Speaker 2: twice last night, still nothing went well for the Avalanche.
• 0:27
Speaker 2: Nobody was happy with the effort, but that's the good
• 0:29
Speaker 2: thing about back-to-backs. The wait isn't long to get back in.
• 0:33
Speaker 2: On the right track. So put on your listening sweaters
• 0:36
Speaker 2: for the Avs and Devils. Force of Nature versus fiddle contestants.
• 0:42
Speaker 2: Live for your listening pleasure around North America and around
• 0:45
Speaker 2: the world on the Altitude Sports Radio Network. The reason
• 0:50
Speaker 2: for the late start tonight, a ceremony for Jake. Faceoff
• 0:54
Speaker 2: won by the Devils. Be in the neutral zone. Back
• 0:56
Speaker 2: to the Colorado line, McKinnon. He'll shove Heischer aside. Turnover
• 1:00
Speaker 2: and they score. It is Luke Evangelista. Somehow McKinnon was
• 1:05
Speaker 2: back as a defenseman. And Evangelista, who just returned to
• 1:11
Speaker 2: the lineup for New Jersey, gets his third goal of
• 1:15
Speaker 2: the season and his fourth ever versus the Avalanche.
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: It's 1-0 Devils.
• 1:21
Speaker 2: McKinnon and Taves ran into each other and Evangelista took
• 1:25
Speaker 2: full advantage of the chaos.
• 1:29
Speaker 1: I have no idea.
• 1:31
Speaker 2: How Taves and McCarr got separated, and then McKinnon was
• 1:35
Speaker 2: actually back as a defenseman there. Nothing that Wedgwood could do,
• 1:39
Speaker 2: left out to dry. And the Avalanche for the second
• 1:42
Speaker 2: straight night concede the first goal.
• 1:46
Speaker 1: He went through, one.
• 1:47
Speaker 2: Devil, here comes Cale McCarr down Broadway, tosses it for Landiscock,
• 1:50
  Speaker 2: save made, rebound.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: He scores! Oh, captain, my captain!
• 1:58
Speaker 2: After a piece of brilliance by Cale Douglas-McCarr, Gabe Landeskog
• 2:03
Speaker 2: will get his fourth goal of the season. And ladies
• 2:06
Speaker 2: and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, this is
• 2:09
Speaker 2: a tie hockey game. Timo Meier will not want to
• 2:13
Speaker 2: watch that back again. He got his ankles broken at
• 2:16
Speaker 2: the far point by Cale McCarr, who went through the
• 2:19
Speaker 2: legs in between the circles, handed it off for Landeskog.
• 2:23
Speaker 1: The first shot was saved by Allen.
• 2:25
Speaker 2: The second one, Landis Gah got his own rebound and
• 2:30
Speaker 2: put it home. 1-1, 5.28 to go in period one
• 2:34
Speaker 2: in New Jersey. Frozenized, a souvenir frozen vulcanized rubber disc.
• 2:40
Speaker 2: Speaking is hard, people. Penalty coming up on the ads.
• 2:44
Speaker 2: Shot from distance, tipped, they score. Delayed penalty on Colorado.
• 2:52
Speaker 2: And it goes in past Scott Wedgwood. He was going left.
• 2:56
Speaker 2: The puck hit at least two things on its way through,
• 2:59
Speaker 2: and Jersey gets their second of the night. Ramoslaw replays
• 3:04
Speaker 2: are hard to come by here in New Jersey, so
• 3:06
Speaker 2: bear with me. Hard to see what happened. It was
• 3:10
Speaker 2: a delayed penalty on Colorado. That may have gone off
• 3:14
  Speaker 2: of Landeskog.
• 3:16
Speaker 1: Comes back to the neutral zone.
• 3:17
Speaker 2: We don't have to worry about it. Gritsuk, down Broadway
• 3:20
Speaker 2: he scores. Absolutely danced through Devon Taves and Cale McCarr.
• 3:26
Speaker 2: Arseny Gritsik, four goals, his last five. Three long devils.
• 3:37
Speaker 2: McKinnon played it to the point, nobody was there. Both
• 3:40
Speaker 2: Habs defensemen were in the middle of the ice, and
• 3:43
Speaker 2: then by the time they got back, Gritsik took control,
• 3:46
Speaker 2: went through the Habs top pair, went forehand to backhand.
• 3:52
Speaker 2: And gives the Devils a 3 to 1 lead, which
• 3:54
Speaker 2: at this point, the way the Colorado has played seems insurmountable.
• 3:58
Speaker 2: All the way through for Schwartz.
• 4:00
  Speaker 1: Nice play.
• 4:00
Speaker 2: McCar lines up for the one timer hit his teammate
• 4:02
Speaker 2: and hit the back of Gabe Landis Scott.
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Empty net for the Devils. They score.
• 4:06
Speaker 2: Kind of how it's gone. The chance from a car
• 4:23
Speaker 2: hit Svechkov. Svechkov in the back. A clear look at
• 4:27
Speaker 2: goal and it's friendly fire leads to an empty net
• 4:30
Speaker 2: goal for the Devils.
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: Somebody scored it.
• 4:34
Speaker 2: Not sure who. And frankly, I'm not really that concerned
• 4:38
Speaker 2: about it. 3.55 to go in the third.
• 4:40
Speaker 1: 4-1 New Jersey. Up the gut for Svechkov. He leads Brindley.
• 4:48
Speaker 2: Chomps it aside, poked loose by Siegenthaler. Brinley able to
• 4:51
Speaker 2: get it back at the slot. Here's a shot, and
• 4:53
Speaker 2: they score. Arturi Lekkonen gets the avalanche back within two. 3.13
• 5:00
Speaker 2: to go in the third period. For Lekkonen, it's his
• 5:04
Speaker 2: seventh goal of the season. His sixth ever versus the Devils.
• 5:08
Speaker 1: And Colorado gets one back and gets.
• 5:10
Speaker 2: A glimmer of hope. Brinley made that whole play happen.
• 5:18
Speaker 2: As he worked down low to reconnect with Arturi Lekkonen.
• 5:22
Speaker 2: As they're announcing the empty net goal. By the Devils.
• 5:26
Speaker 2: 12 seconds. McCarr from Natchez.
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: Leaves it.
• 5:31
Speaker 2: Lekkonen even further back for Brock Nelson. McCarr behind the
• 5:35
Speaker 2: New Jersey net. Out in front for McKinnon.
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: Shot. They score!
• 5:38
Speaker 2: 3.5 seconds left. And let's see who it is. Colorado with.
• 5:49
Speaker 2: Some persistence. I think it's like an in second at
• 5:52
Speaker 2: the game. If that's the case, that will be his.
• 5:55
Speaker 2: Third two goal game. Of the season. But it's probably
• 6:03
Speaker 2: going to be too little too late. Thanks off one
• 6:07
Speaker 2: by the Avalanche. Two seconds. Taves lets it go. Caught
• 6:10
Speaker 2: by Allen and that is it. An unsuccessful road trip
• 6:14
Speaker 2: for the Colorado Avalanche. A 3-2 loss versus the Flyers.
• 6:19
Speaker 2: And tonight, a 4-3 loss against the Devils.
