Transcript
- DadBodSportsCards: All right, welcome to the Dad Bod Sports Card Podcast. This is our weekly pick'ems. We are into week three. so like big one of the biggest things that will come out from week two is football will humble you. no matter how high you get and no matter how low you get, like football in some way will fucking humble you. and they and some of the biggest news this from week two, it's all the quarterbacks getting hurt. the FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: great Caleb Williams pulled the hamstring and you know. There's a lot of conversation about that on social media. But Jackson Dart got hurt last night and now they're saying it could be season ending. And then we also had Jane Daniels, which I would never question Jane Daniels' toughness, but he is still Mr. Glass. and he got hurt again. I mean, I mean that one was gruesome too. I mean, all his injuries seem to be gruesome. But we we will talk about week week two with Aaron and Flinttown sports cards. take a little like talk about week two, then we'll move on to our picks and everything. So d what what do you what did you guys take away from from week two? we'll we'll start with Aaron. What you got, buddy? Aaron: I mean it was just finally like able to see you know teams play another game, you know, that way we can get away from that week one overreactions. Like my Arizona pick, that was a little dumb. But like I FlintTown: What the hell was that? Aaron: didn't get to watch most of it, I was at work again, but seeing the teams settle into like what they're supposed to be, you know, it's a little Like it's more stable, you know what I mean? Like we're not gonna overreact off like what just happened last week. We can see like the direction they're going. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. I mean it's still earlier, it's two games. Aaron: It's yes it is. DadBodSportsCards: But we in in the pre show we were talking about a little bit, like Aaron's already given up on football. He's already looking forward to next season because his Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Steelers is trash. So it took it took three weeks into the season for Aaron to go from I'm excited about this offense, see what we can do, to now it's like, okay, next year. All right, Flint, what do you got? So for if you can see Flint has a different background. He's got a little bit of floral design and everything. So what FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: we found out was Flint is I mean, he's gay. So he's I'm kidding I'm kidding. I'm kidding. FlintTown: Whatever. DadBodSportsCards: I'm kidding. He's he's he's not gay. He's bi. But like but we got the we got the the floral background. He is on vacation. So thank you for still coming on even though you're on vacation. So so what what what FlintTown: Yeah, I wouldn't miss it. DadBodSportsCards: week two notes do you have, Flint? FlintTown: just how crazy from week one to week two you think you have a sense of a team and it completely backfires and throws you in a loop. Aaron: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: Like we've seen it on multiple teams. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: Like the Browns. And you know, like the Saints look a lot better than we thought. What other teams? DadBodSportsCards: Well, and the Brown like when you say the Browns, I think the Browns are still bad. It's just FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: maybe Tampa Bay's not good. Like, Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: Or maybe Tampa DadBodSportsCards: I mean them FlintTown: Bay just didn't take serious. Cause if you don't DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Yeah. But like FlintTown: take a team serious, you get your ass handed to you. DadBodSportsCards: I mean that th that's true too, but like if I were a football player and just like just from us from our standpoint is it's any given Sunday. So if I was a football player, like anything can happen. Like that would be my mindset. Anything can happen. Doesn't matter who you're playing against. Tennessee almost beat the Eagles. Like it took a last, like what, six to ten second touchdown, like left on the clock for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles to get past the Titans. I never thought that. And then, you know, Baltimore, like you said, the Saints. Like the Saints, maybe they're better than what we thought, thought they were, and everything. Or maybe who who knows? Like week one, yes, especially for myself. Like I overreacted to the Bears 59 points. And then we just got punched in the mouth by Minnesota's defense and scored three points. and that was even before Caleb got hurt and everything. But yeah, like, I mean, you're right. It's it there's a I mean, it's been two games. We it usually takes about maybe like five to seven games to figure out, you know, what a team is and everything. It's a long season. FlintTown: Or like the first four games it's a quarter, you know, or almost a quarter. So DadBodSportsCards: Mm. Yeah. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: then you kinda have a better knowing, you know, through them four games you know DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Well, I mean yeah. like especially in general, like the Minnesota Vikings, I think they won their last six five or six games last season, finishing the season off. Like, it's a long season. Like a team can get hot at any time. Right now, like, I mean, there's a lot of things that we that we're gonna say probably tonight, just based off of just after week two reactions and everything. And we have a little bit more. But you got any other notes going on? FlintTown: my lion's secretary really sucks. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean that game was just a shootout. The Bills and Lions was just a shootout. And we talked about it in the unfiltered podcast. But like, I mean, both defenses wasn't great. You know, like we talked about it. The defenses for the Bills and the Lions are pretty similar. Like they neither team has a secondary. Both you FlintTown: They are. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: guys have a pass rush to an extent. Like, I mean, if they're playing really well, but it was just like just a better quarterback won that game. That was the only difference was a better quarterback. And everything. Yeah. Mm my notes from week two is it's not really foot. I mean, it's football related, but it's not about what I saw besides Minnesota punching the shit out of the Bears offense in the mouth. Is social media. I mean, I'm Aaron: Too. DadBodSportsCards: part of the problem too. I get it. I'm part of the problem because I come at people. But man, this whole Caleb talk about the toughness, even though, you know, his first season he got sacked sixty eight, sixty-eight times, didn't miss a game, and he got beat up. But I guess that's not tough anymore. You know, I guess a quarterback taking a beating like that's not tough anymore. you know, yeah, he got carted off. And like, you know, the end result ended up being maybe a grade one tear, maybe it's a grade two, but they haven't really said. But it sounds like it's a grade one tear. I tore my calf muscle before, never had a hamstring. That shit was painful. I couldn't walk for like three weeks. Like my my calf was was wrapped up. Like it's painful. Is it painful on how like you get a cart and you do the thumbs up? I mean, maybe not, because like w in history and f sports, we see that like with Mike Utley, the Detroit Lions player who started the whole thumbs up on the cart and everything. I think because, you know, everybody thought maybe he could have been paralyzed or something. I think f yeah, I can't I can't FlintTown: He I think he was paralyzed, wasn't he? DadBodSportsCards: remember it it's been a long time. Like I was a kid when that happened. But FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: like I get it, and maybe and we all know Cave was Caleb's an emotional guy. I get it. It We're in a different generation now. Like this is how people are emotional. It's not the not back in the 70s and 80s where the football players are like, you know, sh yeah, FlintTown: Cut their fingers off. DadBodSportsCards: cutting their fingers off because it's broken. Aaron: Yeah. Ronnie Light. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Or or or, you know, sh I mean they probably still take painkillers. Now they're just doing it in the fucking tent, but before they're doing on the sidelines with fucking open needles just injecting each Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: other, you know, and everything. It's not like that anymore. It's not like that. The the Caleb scream. I mean, that that could be a business pain, but I think it's more of his frustration. They work so hard to get to the point where they're at. This, I mean, everybody's seen it. The Bears have been all over the national media. Caleb's on the cover of Madden. Madden obviously loves Caleb and they think he's the face of the NFL. The NFL thinks Caleb is the face of the NFL just because, like, there's two quarterbacks that are playing both on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Is Josh Allen and Caleb Williams. So the NFL purposely did that because those two are must-watch TV. So yeah, FlintTown: Well, it's money making too. DadBodSportsCards: money making, but because they're well, Chicago is a really big market. Buffalo, Buffalo FlintTown: Right. Exactly. DadBodSportsCards: is a smaller market, but Chicago is a big market in everything. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, but like right. FlintTown: Buffalo has a following too, you know, like the Bills Mafia, Crazy. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, but the b the big markets are Buffalo, New York, LA, you know. I mean not Buffalo, Chicago, New York, and LA and all that. And then, you know, I mean, Buffalo, I mean, Buffalo. on the outskirts of n of New York and everything. But the point is, Caleb, there's a lot of there's a lot of hate and there's a lot of love for him. If you're a Bears fan, you're gonna love him. A lot of other people love him for other reasons, you know. And then there's a lot of hate for him because he paints his nails and everything. What you s and I and these guys haven't seen it, but the intro, I got a I got a specific thing from Walter Payton's son, who's on like 104.3 the score in Chicago. He has a message for everybody. So that'll be the intro for for for this. But it's Walter Payton's son, so I get it he's not Walter Payton, but he still has a voice because he's one of the greatest ever son. FlintTown: Also say, like I showed you and I said I got a take on that too. You can't knock the guy 'cause you don't know what pain he was feeling at that second. Yeah, everybody can be like, it wasn't that big a deal. No, but he doesn't right there and then he doesn't know what happened. And exactly, DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, he didn't he didn't know how serious it is. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: so he all also felt pain and something snapped or whatever DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: and fell down, couldn't move, and then his emotions, like he's a competitor, so All he's thinking about is I'm done for the season. Like DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: and like you said, high hopes for the whole season. I can't knock the guy. He's a competitor. Yeah, maybe it wasn't as bad, but you the that instant right there, right then, you can't knock someone if you can't put yourself in that position right then. DadBodSportsCards: Right. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Right. Like I would never FlintTown: So DadBodSportsCards: question an NFL player's toughness. All those fucks are tough as shit. Right? Yes, they get hit all FlintTown: No, I guys get hit so many times. DadBodSportsCards: the time. And like they've gone through it their whole life because they've been playing football their whole life. FlintTown: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: Now I will say someone's injury prone. Like I'll call JD five. I'll say he's Mr. Glass. Because like, I mean, it didn't take a lot like that one, like was on his own. And you know, like freak injuries happen all the time. It just it's more common with certain players. Like and that sucks for Jaden Daniels and the Commanders fans, is because Like like your season's pretty much over. Like, 'cause he should get surgery. He didn't get surgery last year, and it's the same elbow. So he might have to go the surgery route this time and everything. And it sucks. FlintTown: And he would be out for the whole year. DadBodSportsCards: And he'll be out for the whole year. And it sucks for his career because he's going to the third season, like Caleb and Drake May and all of them. And, you know, they're waiting for their next after rookie contract and everything. Because that's usually their big contract. Like there's there's FlintTown: He actually looked really good too. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, he started he started the season off well. Like, I mean, that's you know, he shows way he's healthy and everything. And then a freak injury happens. And, you know, I mean, it it sucks when you see a player get hurt. I mean, I I'll admit if I see a Green Bay guy get hurt, like I'm excited because I hate Green Bay, but I've never questioned Micah Parsons' toughness. I never questioned Jordan Love's toughness. I might be happy that we knocked the shit out of Jordan Love and gave him a concussion, but I'm not like, that he's weak. Like, no, that's not at all. Like, I understand head injuries are a serious thing. Injuries happen. But I'm not gonna question their toughness. That that that's the difference for me and all that. And you know, I you Flint saw in our group chat, I'll call people out and I will make it personal, especially like when you're cherry picking on things and I don't give a shit. Like I I will come at I will come at you. And that's why I said, Hey, have you ever served? I got my salute to service shirt on now. And if you want to question his toughness, then I'll question your toughness why you never served. Certain somebody in our group chat. So FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: all right. Like now that we're past that. Any other notes from week two? Aaron, you got anything to say about that, especially social media? I will say it's awesome that Max Crosby came to Caleb's defense. Ryan Poles, trade for fucking Max Crosby now. Like he loves Caleb. We need a pass rusher. Make it fucking happen. Let's get this done. But Aaron, you got anything else? You want to say anything about anything about social media? Because this is pretty much your generation. That's all about social media. Aaron: I mean I saw the Dave Portnoy stuff, I don't know if you guys saw that. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, I did yeah, I saw it. Aaron: Dave Portnoy was come after Caleb and then people were like You were defending cause Gronk had like a similar injury. Like you were defending that and they started making fun of Dave because this clip of DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, so so I think Aaron: him running, I don't know if you've seen FlintTown: Yeah, repost. Aaron: that clip, it's a pretty sad clip of him. DadBodSportsCards: No, I I think the Gronk thing, I think I think I think the truth is he actually hurt his knee. I don't think it was a hamstring. Yeah. And then Gronk Aaron: Yeah, it was similar. Yeah, it was a knee injury. DadBodSportsCards: Gronk got carted off, I believe, and everything. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: And then, you know, it I mean, like what Flint Town was saying, like you don't know like so okay, so what if his he doesn't have a high pain tolerance? Who cares? Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I fucking hate pain. Whenever my wife tries to fucking pop something on the back of my head or try to pop Like something on my arm. That shit fucking hurts. Like I hate pain. I don't wanna feel pain at all. You know? Like it so like FlintTown: It's funny though, like I have a high pain tolerance, but there's certain things that do like really hurt. And DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: it's not like things that you wouldn't even think of. You know what I mean? So DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Yeah. FlintTown: it all depends. Like I'm not knocking anyone. Man, if you get out there and you're getting beat up, like you said, the first year, he got hit sacked, I think the most in the NFL that year. So DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. He did. Yeah. That season it was, yeah. FlintTown: So he was getting knocked around a lot. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, he he was. And he got he kept getting back up. FlintTown: It's just a free thing. DadBodSportsCards: And this is the first time he's gonna miss a game. Potentially. I mean, there's the there's a lot going on with the Monday night game, and we'll get to that between the Bears and Philadelphia. All right, so let's go over last week's stats. So on the Pick'ems, Flinttown Sports Cards was the top guy. He went ten and six. So awesome that's FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: that's that's great because I had an awful week, but it like you we'll see on the record wise, it wasn't as awful as I thought. But watching the games on Sunday, I was like, I'm not doing well at all. Like not Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: at all. So Flinttown Sports Cards finished the week on top, week two, at 10 and 6. Aaron was second again with a nine and seven. And then I was last at eight and eight. So on the season, I'm still leading on the season. I'm at 19 and 13, but Flinttown and Aaron are only one game back. They're 18 and 14. Now for my my FlintTown: That's crazy. DadBodSportsCards: dollar my dollar bet. So I have it on I have it on the notes here. So the first week I went 11 and 5 and made eight cents, right? So week two, another $17 because one of the one of the dollars is for like an all parlay. So if I ever hit that, I'll be ahead. So I went eight and eight. I am negative three dollars and ninety-five cents for the week, leaving me with a total of on the season after two weeks, negative three dollars and eighty-seven cents. The one thing that saved me a little bit from this week was the the Raiders beating the Chargers. I I got like a payout of like three dollars for that. So that kind of helped me cover a couple games. But yeah, awful week. But we got Flinttown ten and six, who I mean that's that's awesome, man. Like for the the kind of week that it was, like being going ten and FlintTown: Yeah, it was crazy. DadBodSportsCards: six and Aaron, you going nine and seven, just being ahead of five hundred, I think, I think is is a big deal for that week that we had and everything. All right. So that's the that's the week three. also what we're gonna add on Wednesday nights on my whatnot show. I asked by chat about a pick'em. So next week. Tomorrow night when I run a show, I'll get their picks and then next week we'll see how the how how they do. So I can't have it in time for tonight because my show is we're recording Tuesday night. So you guys get you guys ready to get into the week three picks? Aaron: Yep. DadBodSportsCards: All right. So Thursday night, the the Thursday night game, we have the Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers. so we'll start off with with Aaron. What's who do who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: I got Green Bay. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Aaron: It was a close game against the Jets that went to overtime. I didn't see like what all happened, but I know they came out on top and I know they won with a comeback victory, which is surprising for them. Atlanta's the worst offense in the NFL right now. I think Steelers are probably I think they're like second to worst. Or DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: the Patriots are up there as well. But Atlanta is the worst offense in the NFL right now. And I know that's because of Cooper Rush, and they're getting panic's back to game. So DadBodSportsCards: Which I don't think it means anything, yeah. Aaron: I think it means FlintTown: Yeah. Aaron: a little bit of something, but I don't think it's gonna be enough. And Green Bay, I think they're just the better team all around. They did lose their tackle, which is gonna h suck for them, but I don't think Atlanta is gonna have like a chance. This game's just gonna be a boring game. The only way Atlanta can win this game is if Bichon has like a monster game. But that's the only DadBodSportsCards: So you said you said Green Bay lost an offensive lineman? okay. I didn't I didn't I don't know who do you know who it is? Aaron: Yeah. it was the same injury as Trepillo. DadBodSportsCards: that's a bad one. Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: That's a bad even though yeah, 'cause there's like a what a seventy percent chance that a player cannot come back from that injury. Yeah, or something like that. Yeah. It's Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. It's like Patelatendon, right? FlintTown: What injury was it? DadBodSportsCards: yeah, yeah. It's like it's it's a really bad one. Usually takes two Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: years to fully recover to get back to normal. FlintTown: Holy crap. DadBodSportsCards: Which is what I mean, side note, like Tripillo is not on the IR and he got hurt in that in the in the playoff game last year. And he's not on IR this year. So his recovery, everybody's like, What's going on? Like, what is he doing? Because this Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: is a awful injury. Usually it takes two years to get back in to normal shape. and like it's like it's like a seventy percent chance that you might not come back from that injury either. So that that yeah, that's a bad one. Aaron: Yeah. my player to watch is probably just gonna be Bijan. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Aaron: He can he can put Atlanta's offense on his back and give them a fighting chance this game. So if he does that and they win, that'll be good for them. But it's gonna be tough. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. All Flint, who you got? FlintTown: Going opposite. I'm going Atlanta, baby. I'm DadBodSportsCards: Wow, okay. FlintTown: Penix. Pennix is starting, and I really think it changes the dime dynamics of that team. I think he was gelling good with that offense last year. They started making some noise and then he got hurt. DadBodSportsCards: Mm. FlintTown: But I really do think Pennyx changes that offense. It's big time. And I hope you guys or I hope I'm not wrong, because I have some stock in Pennyx, so DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: like some you know, like downtowns, uptowns, DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: on cart autos. So I'm hoping I'm hoping Atlanta finally gets it right. And when I heard that today, I heard Pennyx was starting, I was like, that's gonna be my pick. I don't think Green Bay's anything special. And their defense ain't anything special right now. Like we were talking. Their defense looks horrible. So this is the time Alana needs to step it up and show what that offense can be. Player to watch, Penix. DadBodSportsCards: Yep, so Penix is a good one and Atlanta. I mean, you guys are right. I think Atlanta's offense is gonna look a little bit better with Penix. I mean, obviously it has to, or you know, besides Cooper Rush. but like I said in our in our NFC unfiltered show a couple nights ago or last night, Green Bay is the most balanced team in the NFC North, as much as I hate to say it, and they're without their best offensive and defensive player right now. Like Minnesota has the best defense, but their offense is awful. The Bears' defense is awful, and who knows what our offense is going to be now without Caleb for a couple weeks. And then the Lions have a great offense, but their defense is awful. So I think balance-wise, Green Bay has the best out of NFC North. And with that said, it's a short week. Penix is going be his first game back if he is back. I'm going Green Bay. I hate to say it, but I think Green Bay will get this win, put them up two and one in our division. And they're going to be a team that's going to be to you we have to look out for in the division because once they get those players back, I mean, they're gonna they're gonna be pretty tough to beat with Micah Parsons back there. my player to watch is gonna be, I mean Let's Penix. If Penix plays, I want him to be the player to watch because he could change the the path for this Atlanta Falcons team right now. Cause I believe they're 0-2. They just got shellacked by Carolina. They lost to Pittsburgh. So they started the season off 0-2. But that division isn't great either. Like Tampa Bay just lost. So they're Tampa Bay's Tampa Bay is 0-2 as well, because they lost to Cincy. And then you got Carolina, who is one and one because they got beat by the Bears. And then you got the Saints, who's also one on one, who could be the best team in there, even though I still think it's Carolina. But I mean, that division is still up for grabs. I know it's only week two, but at least the Penix gives them a little bit of hope and everything. Also, to get back in the sports cards aspect of like, I mean, that's how this whole thing started, right? With sports cards. Flint Town is right on Penix. Like, football is very volatile during the football season. Like you saw, like after Caleb's week one, scars skyrocketed. You know, and everything. After week two, they plummeted, right? Same thing's gonna happen to Jackson Dart. His cards are gonna plummet after his even though he got a week one win, his cards are gonna plummet because he could be out for the year and everything. This is a good opportunity if you had Michael Pennock's cards already. But if not, buy them. By the time you'll hear this, it'll be Wednesday. Buy them before the game starts if he is playing, or even if he's not playing. If he's not playing, that's even better. That gives you the has even the name of the starter? Aaron: He's been named the starter. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. So Penix is starting. Get your Penix cards cheap now because if he has a great game, they're just gonna skyrocket and there's a chance for you to make money. So I don't know who Atlanta plays next week, like following this week, but if he has a good game this week and then another one, like you're gonna make money off that and everything. All right. So that's that's the Thursday night football game. Let's move on to the first Sunday game. We got the LA Chargers at Buffalo Bills. Who you got, Aaron? Aaron: Got the Bills. Josh Allen's looking like I mean he's looking amazing. He he really is. Nine touchdowns, zero turnovers. He is doing really well this year to start off. And the Chargers are not. They suck. They are not a good team offensively and they're not a good team defensively. And I don't know how much of it falls on Herbert. Cause you s I saw some of the stuff from last game. Mike McDaniel does not look like a good offensive coordinator right now. That offense is like all over the place. And his receivers cannot catch. But at some point, the blame has gotta go on Herbert. He's the common denominator of it all. And he was great his first two, three years. Like he was really, really good. But now it's like he's just not winning. So Herbert, like I don't know. I don't know how I feel about him. But I know that the Bills their offense is great. Their offense is amazing. They got James Cook. DJ Moore is also good. Is he playing? 'Cause I know he got in he got injured last game, but DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, he should be playing. Yeah. Yeah, he should be playing. Aaron: okay, yeah. And then Josh Allen's fr I mean he's front runner for MVP right now. that defense, a little worrisome, but I don't think Charger's gonna be able to do anything to exploit it. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. Who who is your player to watch? Josh Allen. Okay. Aaron: Could be Josh Allen. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Aaron's come a long way. I mean, if you were here last season, he hates Josh Allen. And now he's like Yeah, now Aaron: Yeah, I do. But I ca I can't hate it this year. I can't hate on it this year. DadBodSportsCards: now he's sliding in his d his DMs now is how as how Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: much he loves Josh Allen this season. All right, Flint, who do you who do you FlintTown: Soon enough DadBodSportsCards: got, Flint? FlintTown: soon enough we'll see him in a Bill's eye. Aaron: But just yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Right. Have a Josh Allen jersey. FlintTown: Yeah, DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: with the Josh Allen juicy. I also have the Buffalo Bills. And Dad Bob, you might be right with the LA Chargers. they're looking like they're frauds. And Aaron: yeah. FlintTown: it's week three. And that's bad to say. Like there DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: was high hopes and I was advocating for Mike McDaniels for the Lions offensive coordinator position in the offseason. Well now I'm kinda glad, to be honest, that we didn't get him. Because maybe they maybe he's not all cracked up to be what he you know supposedly is. I don't know, it's hard to tell. But you have weapons on that team. And Herbie's not a horrible quarterback, but he's looking horrible. So I don't know what's going on with that team. But yeah, give me Buffalo. Like Josh Allen is like Aaron said, MVP candidate. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. So I know la last week I said the Chargers like, you know, they're they're average. They're not gonna be better than nine and eight or eight and nine, and everything. We're gonna they're gonna go through this the whole season. And they've showed it the first two weeks that they can't win a game and I look smart saying that. With that said, they are learning a new offense. And maybe that's why that offense is looking really bad and disorganized, is because they're trying to learn a new offense. And it's not like Mike McDaniel's offense is like something easy to learn. There's a lot of motion. There's a lot of there's a lot of things that go on with it. And they have some pretty smart coaches there. They have Harbaugh, they have Adam Gase, who's not a great head coach, but he was he was a good coordinator. And then now you got Mike McDaniel. I think it's gonna take time. Like we like what we talked about earlier, it's a long season. This team might not FlintTown: It is. DadBodSportsCards: start clicking until maybe like week eight, week nine when they're comfortable. With that offensive scheme and everything and learning it, the problem is it just might be too late by then because the now they're coming up into a gauntlet on their schedule. Like Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: they play Buffalo. I think there's Kansas City in there. They are there's also Denver in there. So they had to win or at least win one of those first two games to stay in this. I think they're gonna get played out early because of the teams that they're playing. But I could also see this team start clicking later on in the season, might not make the playoffs. But it might be something to improve on for next season, you know, with with them being comfortable. Or I or I could just be totally right and they're just gonna be average, you know. It does it like this game right there with you guys, Buffalo. My player to watch is Josh Allen. Can he continue to score four touchdowns a game and everything? Like cause he's getting two, two on the ground and two in the air. so like I mean, Buffalo's it could it charges could score. maybe twenty to thirty points because Buffalo's defense isn't great. But Buffalo, if they have to, they could put up 40 on you. And I don't I don't see anything stopping Josh Allen. That guy is just Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: a force, a force of nature and everything. All right. Next game we got the surprising Carolina Panthers at another surprising team that won last week is the Cleveland Browns. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: I got Carolina. Their offense does look good. They scored thirty seven first game, thirty-four last game. So DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. Aaron: their offense is really good. Their defense we don't know too much because they played the best offense in the NFL week one, or one of the best offenses. And then they played DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. In week one, they were the best offense. Yeah. Aaron: Yes, and then they played the worst offense in week two. So it's hard to judge their defense, but their offense is good enough. I don't think Cleveland was gonna be able to h hand like hang with them if it does Like if Carolina doesn't score a lot of points. My player watch is gonna be Jalen Coker. He played fine last week. I think he had like f I think it was like five to seven catches. And I just wanna see if he's gonna like not repeat week one, but do a little bit better than last week. DadBodSportsCards: He's been consistent. Like he's playing better than Tet right now. Yeah. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. And Bryce Young also looks good too. DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. All right, who you got, Flint? FlintTown: I also got Carolina. I think Cleveland that you know either they took didn't take serious last week and Cleveland pulled out the win, but gimme Carolina. Like Aaron said, the offense is their offense is good. Cleveland, it might be a week to week here and there they might get a win. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: They're gonna they're they're on the bottom. Of Vanatel. So gimme Carolina. DadBodSportsCards: All right, I'm right there with you guys. I'm with Carolina as well. I think they're just the better team. I couldn't tell you how Cleveland won that that first game. I didn't watch any of it. and then it had like a two hour delay after like a like a mini hurricane came to Tampa and paused that game. So I had no idea that they replayed, you know, that after that two hours they started playing again. And then until someone in our group chat's like, Cleveland beat Tampa, I was like, I didn't even know that game came back on. But Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: my player to watch this could be Denzel Boston from Cleveland, the wide receiver. He's had two, Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: he's he started off he's a rookie and he started two games. He's had a lot of catches. He seems to be their number one wide receiver, which I wasn't expecting. I I thought maybe Concepcion would be a little bit better or and and everything. But Denzel Boston's coming. So, like for fantasy football, he's available in a lot of leagues, so try to snatch him up if you need another wide receiver. Because Cleveland's gonna be playing. Like from behind the whole season, I think. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: so that's Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: that's my player to watch to see even continue his rookie streak of being the best wide receiver for Cleveland and my pick Carolina. All right, next game is gonna be Aaron Glenn against his former team, New York Jets versus the Detroit Lions, who when Aaron Glenn was a coordinator for Detroit Lions. We'll have Flint go last on this one. So we'll have Aaron go first and myself and then Flint. So Aaron, who do you got? The Jets or the Lions? Aaron: My other lines, I think it's gonna be just like the last game. I think Jet I mean, I think Jets are better than Cleveland, but I don't think the Jets offense can keep up with Detroit's offense. So if it comes down to it where Detroit is just scoring a lot of points, the Jets aren't gonna be able to keep up, which is what I think is gonna happen. My player to watch I'm just gonna say Gibbs, he's probably the best player on the offense. So DadBodSportsCards: Yep. All right. So I'm right there with you. I'm with Detroit. I I do think that this could be potentially a close game, though. I know how high powered Detroit's offense is. Their offense I'm not really worried about. It's their defense that I worry about. And the one reason why I think it could be like a shootout is because the Jets have Geno Smith and he's just a fucking gunslinger. Like he'll he'll throw the ball 20, 30 times to Garrett Wilson. And I think Garrett Wilson's gonna have a good game against that secondary. Brees Hall could play have, like if Brees Hall breaks out and gets 100 yards rushing, it's gonna be a long day for Detroit's defense and everything. Because if he if he's rushing for that much, that means they're able to control the ball a little bit to keep Detroit's offense off of it. but I I think I think you're right. I think Detroit has too much offensive firepower. and the Jets might not be able to keep up. but my player to watch is gonna be Jared Goff, just like last week, because he has to. I will probably pick Jared Goff every week because I think this is in a very important season for him. To get the Detroit Lions like off that hurdle, get that monkey off their back, get him to the playoffs, potentially to the Super Bowl. Jared Goff has to be lights out and he has to be the reason they win the games. this isn't a big time matchup. He had a big time matchup last week, and I mean Josh Allen just won that game over Jared Goff. so I'm always I'm probably gonna pick Jared Goff every week because I think he needs to be the person. He's the most important person in Detroit. right now because he's the one who's gonna get them over the hump. Gibbs Gibbs will Gibbs and everything, but I think Jared Goff has to be the leader. So Detroit and Goff. Who do you Flint? FlintTown: So I think you're right with it being a closer game than what people think, 'cause Aaron Glen knows the strengths Aaron: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: of Detroit. You know, he he game planned in practice against all these players. So New York Jets remind me of the New York Giants last year when Detroit played New York Giants last year. It was super Aaron: What again? FlintTown: close and they didn't take them serious and then all of a sudden they came back. But with that being said, gimme the D T or D Aaron: D T, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: That's a tackle. FlintTown: Give me the D E T R O I T The Lions, baby. I messed that one up. DadBodSportsCards: It's it's it took us three weeks to finally get Flint's word of the day. It finally like from from previous season. Yeah, the FlintTown: The D T. DadBodSportsCards: D T. No, I I I Yeah. Who's your player to watch? FlintTown: No, give me the Lions. Give me the Lions. And Saint Brown. Saint Brown had a great game last game the last couple games. He's had a great game. I he's solid. It's DadBodSportsCards: He's solid. He's solid. FlintTown: his golf's number one. If Saint Brown eats, everybody else eats too. So Aaron: Well I'll say this. Jameson Williams, he's not been good this year. He's DadBodSportsCards: No, he hasn't. Aaron: not had a lot of production. So we we'll see about what happens with FlintTown: I know. I do think that Aaron: him. FlintTown: see with him too, like last year I followed him really, you know, like pretty close. Aaron: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: He might have a couple bad games and then he just like he takes off. It's like DadBodSportsCards: yeah, yeah. 'Cause fan fantasy wise, he's awful because he's not gonna FlintTown: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: get you he's not gonna get you anything every week. But there could FlintTown: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: be that one week where he has like two hundred yards off seven catches because he's getting behind he's getting behind the defense. Yeah, I mean FlintTown: Two hundred yards. Yes. Yeah. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: you're one hundred percent right about that. It just hasn't happened yet this season. It it would have been nice if FlintTown: Yeah. And I mean DadBodSportsCards: it happened against Buffalo because Buffalo doesn't have really good defense, but you know, Amonra eight against Buffalo FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: and everything. Yeah. FlintTown: I think too, like, if you look at JMO had over a thousand yards last year. And every year he does get better. Like every year statistically he's gotten better. So I'm not really worried. Like you know, it is new Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: offense, so maybe things need to get tweaked a little bit. DadBodSportsCards: Mm. FlintTown: And we've been down some guys, so I think There are gonna be some guys coming back this week that I think might help that line. So we'll see. DadBodSportsCards: The the thing to watch about J Mo is hopefully and I don't think he is, but I'm just saying like it's something you gotta keep an eye on. He could be one of those players that he got his money, he got paid, and now he's not as hungry as he was before that contract, right? Is it I I I think FlintTown: I do think he's hungry though, 'cause like DadBodSportsCards: so too, but that's just something to keep an eye on. Yep. FlintTown: Yeah. And he's like you think like you I know like Detroit people like look at JMO a lot different than everybody else on from the outside. And JMO like you think he'd be like a diva type wide receiver, right? Like 'cause a lot of wide receivers are divas. But this kid is like I just want to win. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: And I don't care what it like, I don't care if I get A hundred looks or ten. Like I just wanna win. So whatever DadBodSportsCards: He's just a thug. FlintTown: I can do to I whatever I can do to help my team win, I'll do. Which you don't find that a lot. DadBodSportsCards: No. And he's from he's from Alabama. Like, I mean, well, I don't know if he's from Alabama. But he played it he play he played in Alabama, where you have to have that mindset of FlintTown: Well he went to Alabama, yeah. Yep. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: winning and doing your job. That's why he's a good fit for for Detroit. But it could yeah. It's I just said that's just something to keep an eye on. The biggest thing for me with this game to keep an eye on is because you're right, Aaron Glenn knows how this offense runs. He knows Jared Goff's weaknesses. They're FlintTown: Yep. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: gonna they're gonna have that pass rush come up the middle. Like they're gonna attack him from the middle to move Goff outside that pocket. If Like if you watch this game, keep an eye on that. Cause if that pass rush is getting up the middle, kind of like what Minnesota did to Chicago last week, because our center's awful, like they bum rush that middle. And if you move Jared Goff outside that pocket, it's gonna be a very fucking long day for Goff in that offense. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: you know, and Glenn and Glenn knows that. I mean, I think everybody in the if I see it, everybody else knows it in the NFL, obviously. But I think Glenn knows that is how to get that done against Goff. All right, anything else in this game? Nope. All right. So the next game was very hard for me to choose. I had to go back after tallying up my my picks and everything. I had to go back to this one because I it this one's tough for me. So we got the Houston. Yeah, there there's a couple of them this week. There was like three games on this schedule that FlintTown: There's been a couple of them. I think three games. Yeah. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: that I I came back on and had to think and actually had to do a little research on things. So all right, next game is the Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts. Who you got, Aaron? Okay. Aaron: Got Houston. Indy's offense looked good last week. Jonathan Taylor is still really good. But and they're they're starting off O and two, but they started off O and three last year and they still made the playoffs and they still beat the Steelers really bad. I have a lot of faith in Houston. And their defense isn't looking as good as it was last year, wasn't looking as late. They let up twenty last game, which isn't a lot, especially with their offense being so bad last game. Like, you know, it's just a lot of more possessions. But they let up 30, what was it, six against the Bengals? I mean, not the Bengals, the Bills. So their defense isn't like that, like holding you to like 10, 13 points a game, kind of like they were last year. And that offense, I mean, looked good week one, but then again when they played against the Bengals, who have a good defense this year. Like their defense is probably the best Joe Burrow has had. And I don't know, like I don't think Indy's defense is as good as the Bengals defense. so maybe Houston's options do a little bit more. And I still trust that defense, but it hasn't gone off to a shaky start. but this might be the game where CJ Shaw does not look good. Might be Davis Mills time. DadBodSportsCards: Jesus. Aaron: Might be the he looked good last he FlintTown: Davis Mill. Aaron: looked l he looked really good last year. And then Davis Moose, he won three in a row. He won three in a row. DadBodSportsCards: Who? Okay, that I know, but that was like okay. Alright. Aaron: So FlintTown: Is that long neck? Aaron: Yeah, it is. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. It is. It is. Aaron: Yeah. But I I have more faith in Houston, I think. DadBodSportsCards: just fucking throwing haymakers out here now. Like like Davis Millsco like they're not gonna they're not gonna bench Stroud if he's healthy. That it's not happening. That's not happening. No, I do know. I could tell Aaron: You never know. No. DadBodSportsCards: you for a fact that's not gonna happen. But go ahead. Go ahead. FlintTown: Yeah. Aaron: Yeah, that's all I gotta say. Player watching B C J Shroud, this could be his last game as a Texan. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. FlintTown: w DadBodSportsCards: That that might be that might be the worst take. Aaron: Ha ha ha ha. DadBodSportsCards: Like, even though you say Josh Allen is trash, I think this take is even worse than if you think Davis Millis is gonna s win a starting job over Stroud. Like, not happening. Not happening. And it that FlintTown: It is. It is. That's the hot take of the year. DadBodSportsCards: is the hot take of the year. And one of the main reasons why that's not gonna happen is because Stroud's up gonna be up for a contract. The Texans want him to do bad. Because that means they could pay him less. That way he will get maybe fifty to fifty five million instead of the sixty to seventy that these quarterbacks are getting now. So they're gonna they're gonna keep him in there. Aaron: A year? DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: You think see no, he's not getting fifty a million a year. DadBodSportsCards: Just FlintTown: Just DadBodSportsCards: look at the j just look at the salaries of quarterbacks. Yeah, he's gonna get fifty million a year. You FlintTown: wait till Caleb and out all these other guys. Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: could shake your head no, but just look at look at this look at how the salaries are going. Aaron: He's not. I know how they are. He's he's not getting that. FlintTown: Goff has forty tho or forty mil a year. I think golf is forty. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, but that's because he signed a contract like two, three years ago. Yeah, yeah. Like yeah, FlintTown: That's what I mean though. That's what I mean. Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: yeah. I mean, I would take golf over Stroud, but I mean, like Jordan Love I think is making fifty eight million. So if Jordan Love's Aaron: Yeah, he's up there. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: making fifty eight, Stroud's gonna get fifty to sixty. Like it's it's gonna happen. All right, Flint, who do you got between Houston and India and Indianapolis? FlintTown: Gimme Indy. I think Indy is gonna win it. like Aaron: Okay. FlintTown: you said, if you look at that game Sunday night. It was so close. They Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: It was. FlintTown: played good. A lot of people are saying Chiefs are gonna go to the Super Bowl. Well, if that's a Super Bowl team and Indy played them that good, and they kept it from three points, right? It was three points. It was a field goal at the end. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Aaron: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: I think Indy is legit and I think they can take Houston in this game. And it's at Indy's home playing, you know, so I think DadBodSportsCards: It's it's a divisional game. Like the the division should go to either one of these two teams, right? I always forget about cause you you got Jacksonville in there now. So maybe Aaron: Yeah, Jackson. DadBodSportsCards: it's Jacksonville the best team. But I mean, but you like this is a divisional game, it's gonna be a tough game. Who who's your player to watch? FlintTown: Danny Dimes. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: Danny dimes, give me Danny dimes to watch. If he's if he keeps if he takes care of that ball, they will win. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. I I I I agree with that. I think it is good like Danny Dimes has to have a good game. I'm picking Houston. I'm I'm not comfortable with that. I'm not very confident Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: with that pick. But the reason why I'm going with that pick is because I think Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: their defense is gonna play well against Indianapolis. Houston's struggling right now on offense because they don't have a running game. Like week one. Like look great when Monty scored three touchdowns and everything. But he didn't I mean he ran the ball decent, but you know, Cincinnati just had a good offense and they got over that that Houston that hump. no, it was the it was the Bills. The Bills week one. Josh I mean Josh Allen, right? And then Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: Hu then Houston played Cincinnati, where they have a good offense and everything. and sit like what Aaron said, Cincinnati's defense played better this year. I don't know. I At some point, I'm gonna think this defense is gonna step up and it could be against a divisional game. I think Indianapolis will control the ball a little bit more because of Jonathan Taylor. Like Jonathan Taylor's starting the season off pretty well. They played well against Kansas City. Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: but it every Sunday's different. So like Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: maybe the the Colts play style that they did against Kansas City carries over. I know the Jim Mirsay's daughter's putting a lot of pressure. I mean, she's publicly Came out and said, start winning now, or you're getting fired. And that's to the GM and the coach. So maybe they might do things that they normally don't do because they're trying to save their job, right? They don't want to get fired during midseason. Like she's come out and said, something needs to change because she wants to win. And, you know, I'm I'm all for that. She's the owner. And you know, she gets a lot of heat because she's a woman and she's on the sidelines and all that. But But she knows football. Like this is this is her this is her family's legacy and you know Jim Ursay and everything. And she cares about it. She she's trying she's in the headset because she wants to hear who's not doing their job and how everything gets in charge. So like she wants to learn how everything works. So her put FlintTown: And she grew up watching it. DadBodSportsCards: yeah, she grew up watching it and she's putting the pressure on the GM and the head coach. So maybe that'll push, maybe that'll be a good push for Indianapolis because they played well against Kansas City. And you know, like what you said, Kansas City could be a Super Bowl team this year. And hopefully it carries over. Like just because I'm a fan of like I mean, I don't I don't mind the Colts. I mean the the the Bears could be sharing Indiana with them soon anyways. So, you know, so FlintTown: You might be you might be brothers. DadBodSportsCards: Right, right. Yeah, we're gonna be we're gonna be siblings with the Colts. But I mean, I'm still gonna pick Houston. I think their defense will win this game for them. I don't have the faith in Danny Dimes. I think that's what it what it is. I think I I I think that Jonathan Taylor's gonna have a good game, but it's gonna come down to Daniel Jones on on how he plays. So my player to watch is is gonna be Daniel Jones because if if he doesn't play well, Houston's winning this game. That defense is winning the game. All right. Next game should be an easy one. we got Kansas City at Miami Dolphins. Who you got, Aaron? Yep. Aaron: Kansas City. I wanna see my player to watch is gonna be Kenneth Walker. Played good last game, played good week one. He's probably gonna play good again. This Miami team is not good at all. They might go and seventeen, like this team. I don't think they have a s other than HM, I don't think they have a single good player. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. What about you, Flint? FlintTown: I agree wholeheartedly, hundred percent, no doubt. Kansas DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: City and I actually don't think that's a hot take at OM seventeen. I think it's possible DadBodSportsCards: No. Yeah. Aaron: No. FlintTown: which is sad to say. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. No, I mean, surprisingly, out of this podcast, the hot take is gonna be the CJ Stroud thing over Aaron, over Aaron saying that a team's going seventeen. When Aaron said seven and seventeen with Miami, I was like, huh, yeah. I could see that 'cause he's right 'cause yeah. Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. FlintTown: Yeah, yeah. that's not that crazy. DadBodSportsCards: Cause his team this team is awful. The Dolphins are awful. I thought FlintTown: Duri. DadBodSportsCards: may I thought maybe like having Malik Willis would give them a little bit of stability on offense, but that team is awful. Like They're playing for Archmanding next year. That's what they're doing. yeah, give me Kansas City Chiefs. Player to watch. It doesn't even matter. Anybody on Kansas City, anybody on Kansas City, like is the player to watch because any of them could have a good game. all Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: right. Next up. Next up is a now, now this game was hard for me because of the recent Jackson Dart injury. We got the Tennessee Titans at New York Giants. Who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: They got Tennessee. Close one against Philly. They're and two. They're looking for a win. I feel like this is the one that they're gonna be able to get. Cause Jameis Winston didn't look good at all. I know neighbors went down. I heard he came back, but he still only had one catch the entire game. Brian Burns, I also know, went down, which is a big hit for them. I don't know if he's playing, but I think it was they said it was thumbed by like an ankle sprain. So he might play, he might not, I'm not sure. But I feel like this is Tennessee. If they want to win the game, this is gonna be the game that they're gonna have to win. my player to watch, it's gonna be Cam Ward. It's not played the best. So maybe you can step it up, you know, because you don't want to see them have to rely on Tony Pollard. It's not gonna end well if they have to do that. I love Tony Pollard, DadBodSportsCards: This is a whole new Aaron. I guess Aaron loves Tony Pollard. Aaron: but he has not been having a good year so far. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. All right, Flair, who do you FlintTown: Gimme the Titans and Cam Ward. I just put more stock in them this last weekend. I was at a show because we left Monday to come down here and I did a show I used half of the table and I bought Cam Ward PSA nine downtown. So I'm just adding on more cam words. DadBodSportsCards: Hope hope you got it for super cheap. FlintTown: I've the card ladder values like five hundred, I got it for four hundred. So so a hundred. Yeah, there's potential. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Okay. I mean there's put there's potential there. There's potential there. So Cambo Camboard's your player to watch, right? All right. So this game was hard for me to choose because of the Jackson Dart news. I mean, I could understand why you guys picked the Titans. They they're coming off a game where they played well against the Eagles, took the Eagles the last, you know, scoring drive to to win that game. But that game was also in Tennessee, I believe. so it's a home game. Aaron: Mm-hmm. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: so maybe Tennessee would just be that maybe they play better at home. I don't know. I looked, I went back and looked at the stats. Cam Ward really, I mean, I think he went 13 and 19 for like 192 yards, but he got he got two rushing touchdowns, is how Tennessee scored. So, like nothing about that offense scares me. Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: There's the Giants are a wild card right now without Jackson Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Dart. They they showed a lot week one against Dallas. I think we all were surprised how well they looked in week one. And then last night they looked awful because, you know, Jackson Dart got hurt and that The Bash Brothers wasn't the Bash Brothers anymore, right? Because you didn't have yeah. FlintTown: Scataboo got hurt too. DadBodSportsCards: Did did he get hurt? okay. Aaron: I heard something about that. FlintTown: I think so. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I mean, there's there's something seriously wrong with Scataboo. Like, and I saw I s I saw I saw a tick I saw well, I saw a TikTok on it, but I noticed it when I was watching the game. If you watch him closely, like just even just running on the sidelines or or when the camera goes on him, his his his head Aaron: Yeah, I saw it DadBodSportsCards: It's like Aaron: too, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Like randomly just FlintTown: Yeah. I know. DadBodSportsCards: there's something. I mean, he might already have A B brain already. Like, I don't know. Like, like, but FlintTown: No, he's got he's got CTE. Aaron: yeah. DadBodSportsCards: that's something that like I was like watching it last night and I'm like, that looks a little concerning. Or maybe FlintTown: His eyes. DadBodSportsCards: his eyes do. But maybe it could also be there's some people like because I work with someone who had Tourette's. He didn't do FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: the he didn't do the cussing, but Tourette's he had a lot of twitches, right? So Aaron: Mm. DadBodSportsCards: I didn't know like Tourette syndrome also had twitches. Like, I thought, you know, everybody thinks about the cussing, like, fuck shit. Like, you know, just out of nowhere Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: and all that. But he he had like ticks and everything. And maybe that's what Scataboo has. Like from because we saw him in college, he Aaron: Okay. DadBodSportsCards: would bash his head against a brick wall before a game with a helmet. So at some point, it's gonna catch up to him, right? Anyways, I'm I'm picking the Giants. J-Mo Jameis Winston looked bad. He's original J-Mo, but Jameis Winston looked bad in that game. but I think it's because he kind of just got thrown in. And then, you know, I mean, the Rams defense is pretty good. I mean, Aaron Donald, that was his first game back and everything. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: And I don't know. Give me the Giants. I think John Harbaugh will be able to work with Jameis Winston on keeping that offense, getting the ground game going back together. Like I know neighbors got hurt. It's a shoulder injury, but he came back. Like, I mean, I think they still have a good I think they still have enough on the offense to beat Tennessee. I don't Tennessee doesn't scare me, but I can see Jameis Winston having a great game just because he's a gunslinger. He might throw four picks, but he also might throw three touchdown passes and then throw a touchdown pass to himself like he did last year. Like or catch FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: or he caught one last year. Yeah, he caught Aaron: Ca cat one, yeah, cat one. DadBodSportsCards: one last year. Like anything could happen with him. So give me Jameis Winston. Jameis Winston's gonna be my player to watch too. And also keep an eye on Scatterboo, make sure I mean just just look at the Just look at the twitches. Like it could be a Torrent's thing. I don't know, but last night it was noticeable when I was watching it. And I saw a TikTok on it today. And I'm like, man, that's that looks a little concerning. But Giants, Jameis Winston, good to go on that. All right. Next game is well, if this thing's not as hard as I as it looks might be on paper, but we got the Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers. We'll have Aaron go last on this one. I'll start first and we'll have Flint and then we'll have Aaron go since this is Aaron's team. All right, I'm gonna pick Cincinnati. My player to watch is gonna be T Higgins. T. Higgins has to step it up as a number two wide receiver. But I think Cincinnati, I mean, they're starting off two and This is not like what they usually start a season off with, right? So, Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: they're they're they're playing what they and they beat two pretty good teams. They beat, I mean, what we thought were good teams, Tampa Bay and Houston. Those are two teams that beginning of the season we thought could make a run you know, for the playoffs this year. And Cincinnati's coming out right. Joe Burrow, I don't think his back was an issue that game. he didn't I mean, he didn't he wasn't lights out, but they played well enough. They look like a good team offense and defense when they won last week. Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: Pittsburgh is awful. Awful, awful, awful. So I know Aaron probably has a lot to say that, but Pittsburgh game and fun to watch. The only thing fun to watch is TJ Watt, and I hope they trade him to the Bears. That's the only that's the only thing I'm hoping for. Is that you guys Aaron: No, no don't say that. DadBodSportsCards: that the Steelers might finish the season three and fourteen, and they're just they're just Putting in the tank, maybe they'll go for Archie Manning next year, or maybe they'll ride it out with Drew Aller or Will Howard next year while getting more draft picks by trading TJ Watt to the Bears. So Cincinnati and then T. Higgins, my player watch. Who you Flint? FlintTown: Gimme Cincinnati. I I'm with ya. The Steelers do look pretty bad. And I mean, you can trade Joey Porter Jr. to the Lions. We need all the help we DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: need. And we'll give you a two, a second round and a third round pick for gosh, watching that highlight. of Aaron Rodg almost getting split in two. I I don't know how he got up from that hit. Of like being forty some years old and hit getting hit like that Please But give me Cincinnati and Jamar Chase. Aaron: Alright. This offense is the worst offense I've ever seen in my life. As a yards per play standpoint, this is a whole yard worse than Matt Canada's offense. Who I'm sure DadBodSportsCards: wow. Aaron: you guys are aware of Matt Canada, his entire tenure with the Steelers that lasted two to three years, and he was the first Steelers coordinator to get fired in like who knows how long. I DadBodSportsCards: Mm-hmm. Aaron: think since the seventies, like mid season. We never had a four hundred yard. game with him and yardage wise we're doing worse than Matt Canada and Kenny Pickett. Which says a lot. Our offense is terrible. DK can't catch a pass. Like that might be the worst contract behind the dots the Sean Watson contract in the NFL right now. I mean what it's five years, 130 million I think. Or four years or something DadBodSportsCards: So easy. Aaron: something like that. Something like that. Hundred thirty to hundred fifty FlintTown: For DK. Aaron: million. For DK, yes. It is an expensive I think it's thirty million a year. Thirty million a year. FlintTown: Yes. Aaron: It is a big expensive contract and he sucks. He is garbage. Michael Pittman looked like he was week one, he looked, you know, like a most consistent wide receiver. He's not gonna play week three. He's looking very doubtful. Roman Wilson's not good. Jeremy Bernard played well, he had that one drop. Which resulted in a pick, but Jeremy Bernard looks like our best wide receiver out there. Run game is abysmal. Rico Daldo sucks. Jalen Warren. Not getting enough touches. And our tight end room is okay. The offensive line It's it's so bad. It's really bad. It's like it is just miserable. Our tackles both are not good. And Troy Fontan is supposed to be really good. Our center, who is one of the best centers in the league last year, is really bad. Well not really bad, but he played bad. The offense all around just sucks. There's nothing good about it. A i Aaron Rod Aaron Rodgers DadBodSportsCards: Yes. Yes. We're we're aware. Aaron: looked fine week one. He did not look good look good last week. Our defense nothing but good things to say about the defense. I I am a little iffy on the secondary, obviously, because we're down our cornerback one. We're playing strictly zone coverage, which kinda sucks. Because that's just like not what our team is like usually does. It's a little bit different. Red defense is playing well. So Anyways, enough about that. I just had to get out there off my chest. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: Anyways, I got Cincinnati. That they're they're it's gonna be a shutout, honestly. Their defense their defense is good enough where I'm gonna say it's a shutout. They're they're gonna win us like thirty to nothing. Like FlintTown: man. Aaron: it our team is that bad in the gutter. And it's at home too. I have zero hope for this team. My note right here says we need a top five pick, please. We need we need Archmanning. We need we maybe we can go out and try to get Herbert, see if he can turn his career around in Pittsburgh. We need something. And it's not Rogers and it's not McCarthy. Get those two dudes out of Pittsburgh. My player to watch is gonna be Aaron Rodgers, just because I want to see. 'Cause he wasn't bad last year and he wasn't bad at week one, but he played bad last week. Again a Patriots defense is good. But I wanna see if he can play halfway decent this game. Because if he doesn't, it might be Drew Eller, Will Howard time. DadBodSportsCards: I I I I agree with that because I mean the thing about these quarterbacks is like, yes, Aaron Rodgers is a legend, right? Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: But he might only have like four or five good games this year. Like where you're like, shit, that's Aaron Rodgers. Like that's what we Aaron: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: expect. But you're talking about like the majority of the season and being consistent. I mean, he ain't it, man. Like, he's not it with this team. And I like they don't look good at all on offense. Aaron: Yeah, no. Mm-mm. FlintTown: It's past his prime. DadBodSportsCards: And I yeah, he is. I Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: mean, he's what, forty two? FlintTown: Yeah. Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I think he's 42. I think it's 42 or Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: 43 years old. So yeah, I mean it's it's totally understandable. I mean, it sucks because there's a lot of high hopes. You know, this is gonna be his last season. Steelers are always usually at least a 500 team. So maybe he Aaron: Yeah, in the mix. DadBodSportsCards: can yeah, and they're always in the mix and maybe he can get them over the hump and make the playoffs again like they did last year. But yeah, I don't I don't know. I'm I'm right there with you. Maybe it should be Drew Allen or Will Howard time. But I don't think they're gonna do that because this is his last season, and just out of respect, they might not do that. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Like, you know, that's what that's FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: what teams do. Like what we saw, like Kobe at the end of his career on basketball, the Lakers. Like, they weren't winning, but they'll let Kobe, you know, score the 81 points or whatever, like, you know, and have his have his I don't know what the fuck you call it. Fair thank you, his farewell tour. And that's what's gonna happen to Aaron Rodgers this year. I would like to say that a sound Aaron: Farewell tour. Yeah. It's fine with me. DadBodSportsCards: I would like to say that tonight I'm being surprised by a lot of Aaron's takes. And it could be because he's maturing because his birthday is in two days. So he will finally be 19, Chloe. FlintTown: Happy birthday. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. In two days. Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: but like we we heard him before, like week one, he was like, he's so excited about this Pittsburgh Steelers offense. And then I gave him a look when he's like he's excited about Calvin Austin. And FlintTown: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: like I gave him a look over that, and he just said, Calvin Austin ain't it. Like it only took two games. Aaron: No no no no I d I did not say that. I said Tony Pollard ain't it. DadBodSportsCards: No, but what did you say about Cal Way it back 'cause you just said something about Calvin Austin and just now Aaron: Last week? DadBodSportsCards: when No, just now. Aaron: I never mentioned his name. DadBodSportsCards: You said Calvin Austin something. Aaron: I said Roman Wilson, I said Michael Pittman, I said Roman Wilson. DadBodSportsCards: Roman, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm getting I'm getting the players confused because they are all fucking trash. My bad. So I can't tell FlintTown: Ha ha ha. DadBodSportsCards: the difference between them. Roman Wilson. Roman Aaron: Roman Wilson. Yes. DadBodSportsCards: Wilson is who he was excited for. Calvin Austin's the one who tore his ACL. Correct. He plays for a different team. Right. R I'm sorry. R I can't keep track of the shitty players. All right. All right. So Roman Wilson. Roman Wilson, you were excited about. You want to see is he Aaron: Yeah. I was excited about DadBodSportsCards: and then what and you said something bad about him just now. You just I think you said he Aaron: It's not that good, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: he's not that good. So he's maturing. in his young age. And I'm I it's it's fun to see. Now he's starting to see what football football is. Josh Allen's great. He's not trashed. You know, like he's changing his mindset. Now like he notice how he doesn't say, Josh Allen. Like cause he would say Lamar's better than Josh Allen, but now he doesn't say that anymore. So I I just want I just want Aaron: Not after last week. Not after last week. DadBodSportsCards: to put out there as as a father, it's a it's a proud moment to see your son mature and and And give better takes and be smart. All right. You got anything else on Pittsburgh, Aaron? Aaron: Fire the whole team. Fire the DadBodSportsCards: Ha ha ha. FlintTown: Ha ha Aaron: whole offense. The whole offense. Defense could stay. Get rid of the offense. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. All right. Next game up. We'll have Aaron start off and then and then Flint and then myself. So Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders. Aaron: I got Seattle. I underestimated them and Drew Locke last week. Jason had three touchdowns. What a monster game. They're they're just gonna win this. I don't I have no faith in Washington. Who's their starting quarterback? Is it gonna be Mariota? Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Mariota. It's gonna be Mario. Aaron: Yeah. Seattle, I guess JSN again. I he had three touchdowns last week. It was a crazy game for him. DadBodSportsCards: All Flint, who you got? FlintTown: Yeah, easy one for me. Seattle. if JD five was playing, it would be, I think, way more competitive and closer game and kinda toss up, right? But yeah, give me Seattle and JSN for the player DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: to watch. DadBodSportsCards: That's safe. I'm good. I'm right there with you guys, Seattle. my player to watch will be let's go with Emmanuel Wilson because if he's playing, let's see what kind of game he can have. I think that's his last name is Wilson, right? He's he's FlintTown: Who? DadBodSportsCards: the running back because Price got hurt last week. Bryce Price Jor Yeah. So hit Aaron: you are right, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: yeah, Jadarian Price got hurt and then Wilson had 21 carries for or 20 carries, 21 carries for 92 yards. So there's no other person in that backfield and and everything. So fantasy fantasy FlintTown: Yeah. Charbonnet's hurt. DadBodSportsCards: wise, he yeah, Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Charbonnet started he's out at least four games because he's on the pup. So, or he's on the IR. But yeah, for fantasy purposes, Emmanuel Wilson, he's available in a lot of leagues. so maybe he can get you some fantasy points this weekend, especially against the commanders. All right. next game. Next game, I think, is another gonna be it's another tough game. We got the New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars. So Aaron, who do you got? Aaron: Got Jacksonville. Might be a shocker, but New England is one of the worst offenses in the league. Drake May has four interceptions on the year. His interception last week was a bad one. Remindre Stevenson still fumbles the ball every game. DadBodSportsCards: But at least they got Henderson back. Trayvion. Yeah. Yeah, he did. He did. Aaron: They had Henderson looked good. He had that touchdown. That was a good touchdown. Jacksonville, they didn't look that good last game. T Law didn't really look that good. That offense was just like stagnant. But I do have faith more faith in Jacksonville than I do in New England. Because I I mean New England's defense can win them games like they did last week. But I think Jacksonville is good enough that New England's offense is gonna have to do something, and I don't think their offense can't do anything. DadBodSportsCards: Night and day compared to Jacksonville's offense to Pittsburgh's offense. Yeah, Aaron: Yes, exactly. DadBodSportsCards: night and day. Yeah. Aaron: Yeah. My player watch is gonna be T Lock, he needs to bounce back from last week. It was not a good showing. Nick and Bronco's defense is tough, but he just did not look good. Yeah, yeah. It's DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. And playing in Denver, like Mile High Stadium. That's a that's a thing. Yeah. Aaron: it's a it's a tough thing, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Which that's like foreshadowing to my pick later about the mile high. 'Cause that was another toss up game. All right, Flint, who do you got? New England or Jacksonville? FlintTown: I got New England. I agree with you though, this is like one of them games that kind of toss up like I had a hard time picking it. Jacksonville's last week. Last week was rough for And Aaron: Mm-hmm. FlintTown: I don't know if they can get out of their heads in just a week to bounce back. Cause New England isn't that bad. Like, I know they're not what they were last year, but they've had some pretty good they're two and aren't they? Or no, one Aaron: More one. FlintTown: and one. They're one and one. Last week they played really good. Right? DadBodSportsCards: They played okay. They played against Pittsburgh. Their offense didn't play that. Yeah, their defense w but Yeah, Steelers. It was New England versus Steelers last week. Aaron: Their offense didn't play that good. Their defense was good. I'll give that. Steelers. They played like one of the worst FlintTown: Who did they play against last week? Aaron: offenses. FlintTown: Yeah, that's true. man. Are DadBodSportsCards: Ha ha. FlintTown: you gonna make me wanna change my pick right Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I mean if FlintTown: now? DadBodSportsCards: if if you gotta change it, change it. Like I mean FlintTown: Give me Jacksonville. I'm gonna change it. DadBodSportsCards: All right, let me I'll change that on my end. Yep. Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: Sorry. DadBodSportsCards: No, you're good. FlintTown: After I thought about that, I was like, holy crap. Because Jacksonville the first game did look r like lights out good. Like DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. FlintTown: contender good. And I know last week they didn't have a great game. Alright, let's see BTJ. He needs DadBodSportsCards: Okay. FlintTown: to step it up again. DadBodSportsCards: He does. All right. I I'm picking Jacksonville. Like I said, this game was a toss-up because New England, like because I'm also thinking about last season. New England, but also I gotta realize that New England had like one of the easiest schedules last year, and Aaron: We did. DadBodSportsCards: Drake May played well against easier teams. Jacksonville's not an easy team. Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: And FlintTown: They're not. DadBodSportsCards: and Pittsburgh's defense isn't an easy defense to play for, and Drake May didn't do anything. And the week before that, he had Seattle. And he didn't, I mean, we saw the three picks in the fourth quarter, right? So Drake May is not playing well at all. and this game's in Jacksonville. I think Jacksonville, like Trevor Lawrence is gonna do enough with that offense against that defense. It'll probably be this game to me, if I mean it kind of feels like the Steelers and and New England last week, how New England won 20 to 3. I could see Jacksonville winning this game 20 to 3, 20 to 10, right? Because New England's defense is good. But I think there's just gonna be too much. like Drake May is he's he's not playing well right now. And especially AJ Brown's still out, like this this offense FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: is gonna struggle. Trevor Travion Henderson gave them a boost, but I mean, like for whatever reason they still give the ball to Stevenson, who's gonna fumble. And we know at some point Drake May is gonna throw an interception. So even if it's a close game, I'll give it to Jacksonville. and again, it it is in Jacksonville. Maybe it might be hot in the heat. You know, like there's players have been complaining about the heat in in some of these games. All right, so we're all on board with FlintTown: I was gonna say that. DadBodSportsCards: we're all on board on Jacksonville. So next game next game should be a toss up, depending on what I mean, not a toss up, should be pretty easy, but it depends on where Aaron goes. So we Aaron: No. DadBodSportsCards: got the Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco forty niners. Aaron: My notes say easy pick not falling for Arizona again. I'm gonna pick the Niners. Niners look sharp. DadBodSportsCards: Those are good notes. Aaron: They looked truly sharp week one. They look really sharp week two. They could run away with the division. But the division's all of it for grabs. Arizona, their defense, they don't have the defense for it. And their offense did not look good last week either. You know, Jacoby Perce is a gunslinger, they have the weapons, obviously. But they're just gonna have this week, so they're not gonna do anything. And that was like last week for them. San Francisco is just a much better team all around and everyone's healthy as well. I did see they picked up someone for the practice squad. I f it was a wide receiver, I can't remember his name. DadBodSportsCards: I'll look it up while you're talking. Aaron: okay. Yeah. But I I just have no faith in Arizona this week. pick San Francisco, my player to watch I don't know. I sp I'll probably just say Brock Purdy, just go with the quarterback, see if you can just play at a good level. DadBodSportsCards: They they signed Brandon Cooks. Yeah. Aaron: That's what it was, yes, Brancox. DadBodSportsCards: All right, Flint, who do you got? FlintTown: I have San Francisco. San Francisco forty niners over Arizona. Sorry. DadBodSportsCards: You're good. FlintTown: my player to watch, Dijon Love. You know. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: gimme Brock. Gimme Brock Birdie for my player to watch. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, I'm picking the 49ers. My player to watch is gonna be CMC. he needs to start rushing the ball better in order for the San Francisco to do something this year. They're in a tough division and everything. Arizona. Arizona's gonna get their stats because they're gonna this game is gonna be a blowout. Trey McBride is gonna be another good pickup because he's gonna catch a hundred balls and everything in this Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: game. Brissett might have a good game because they're gonna be playing like a lot of garbage time. But yeah, San Francisco and CMC is my player to watch. All right, next game. Next game, we got the Minnesota Vikings, who are two and and just fucking destroyed the Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Who you got, Aaron? Aaron: Minnesota. They're gonna put baker in a blender. It's gonna be ugly. DadBodSportsCards: Put Baker in a blender. Nice. I'm ho I'm hoping the AI picks up on that. FlintTown: Beacher in the planet Aaron: Then it's very ugly. Fifty five million a year for that. That was my note. saw someone say they had two hours to drop a two minute FlintTown: Okay. Aaron: drill and they still lost because DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Aaron: of the delay. How did you lose against the Browns? That is bad. Anyways. Minnesota they look like a they have a really good defense. Kyler's gonna be back this game, so maybe their offense is gonna pick it up like week one. Even though Kyler wasn't there for that. But I have no faith in Tampa. I thought it was gonna be somewhat like last year, beginning of the season, where they could be like that sleeper team, you know, Baker plays good. It's not gonna happen this year. So I got Minnesota my players to watch is gonna be Kyler Murray. He didn't really play that good in the short time he played week one. I know he threw that interception. So I just FlintTown: The first play. Aaron: wanna see So yeah, I just wanna see if that offense can take the next step. Because if they do, that's a scary team. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. All right, Flint, who you got? FlintTown: I actually got Tampa Bay. DadBodSportsCards: okay. FlintTown: I wanna throw that. I know it's kinda off the rails. I think Tampa Bay will bounce back. I think Minnesota will be riding high thinking They're gonna just sail the sea, right? And r rape and pillage like they used to. But then the bucc then DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. Yeah. That's from our unfiltered. Yeah. FlintTown: the buccaneers will come in and stab them. DadBodSportsCards: That's a good like the battle of the seas. The battle of the open seas. Yep. Nice. FlintTown: The battle of the seas, baby. So but if that ha if Baker Mayfield is gonna be the one that has to push them over to the top to make that happen. So give me Tampa Bay and Baker Manfield. DadBodSportsCards: All right. So after the performance Minnesota put on my bears last week, I am picking the Minnesota Vikings. their offense doesn't scare me with Carson Wentz. It could potentially be better with Kyler Murray because he would just throw it up to Justin Jefferson. And if he gets in trouble back there, at least we know he can scramble. Carson Wentz ain't scrambling. You get to him, you get to him, right? Kyler Murray can can be a little he be a little be a be a playmaker. on the field, because ha like the defensive lineman might not be able to see him at all when he's running around and scrambling and everything. How I look at this defense for the Vikings. So after two weeks in this first in this NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings on average are blitzing 73% of the time, which is well above what any of the second place team I don't know the second place stats. I think it's only like 30%, maybe 40%. But they are blitzing. Brian Flores is playing for a new head coaching job next year, that defensive coordinator. So maybe he just keeps putting pressure on these fucking quarterbacks. He did it with Jordan Love eventually in that game against the Packers and they came back and won. He did it all game against Caleb and then eventually Tyson Bajent. Like he he blitzed 78% of the dropbacks on the Bears. And it's working. It's working. Now The Bears also held the Vikings to no touchdowns, but the Vikings held us to three points, right? I mean, you're talking about, I mean, we all thought, like, we didn't think the a lot of other people besides myself didn't think the Bears were going to score 50 again. But I think everybody was safe to assume that the Bears could probably score 20 against the Vikings, and they didn't come wearing anywhere near that. And that's because that defense is playing out of its mind. Dallas Turner is a fucking monster. Like Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: it's starting, FlintTown: Yes. DadBodSportsCards: it's starting to have me rethink that draft. We should have never drafted a dunze that draft. We should have went Dallas Turner. We should have went Caleb and then Dallas Turner and not a dunze. I love a dunze, even though he drops every single fucking ball that gets thrown to him. But like pass rushers, you need a pass rusher in this league. He and then I heard another stat. The defensive line for the Minnesota Vikings, bless you. The defensive line FlintTown: Thank you. DadBodSportsCards: for Minnesota Vikings, I think. Total this year's salary, I think it's like three to four million dollars is what they're paying. Yes. Because Dallas Turner's on his rookie contract. And Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: those other guys FlintTown: While DadBodSportsCards: that they got in that line got them for cheap. So what that tells me is it's all coaching. That's all Brian Flores getting the best out of these guys. And I don't know. Like I didn't think Minnesota was gonna be good coming into this season, but after seeing how that defense played last week, I don't see how a quarterback can beat them. The only way I can see a quarterback beat them is if you have a timing quarterback and you know that heat's coming and then you're running precise routes and everything's timing. There's only a certain amount of quarterbacks that could do that. Patrick Mahomes can do that, but I don't know if they have wide receivers that are time like besides Travis Kelsey, right? The the Lions could do it. Goff is a timing guy as long as he gets the time. You got a modra who can run precise routes. I don't see Baker Mayfield being a timing quarterback against this. Vikings defense. And I don't FlintTown: It's DadBodSportsCards: see a wide receiver for the for the Bucs where they can run time routes like an Amonra. Like Chris Godwin would have been that guy, but I don't know what happened. He got hurt and then he had he's not back to where he needs to be. Like Buka, I don't think, is a timing wide receiver. He's more like he's a good route runner, but he's not he's not anywhere like near Amonra. So I think this defense will again rape and pillage the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, like how what they did to my Bears. FlintTown: He DadBodSportsCards: Aaron doesn't know it because like it was on the NFC filter, unfiltered where FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I put the whole rape and pillage thing. But I don't know. This defense, I'm gonna keep riding this defense until they show me that you can beat them. Because right now they are they're probably the best defense in the league. FlintTown: So I mean it's a good logic, if you think about it. DadBodSportsCards: Who's who's a better defense, Aaron? Aaron: Well no, I'm not saying that. I I was I was gonna say something else, but I'll let you guys finish. DadBodSportsCards: No, what were you what were you gonna say? Aaron: Okay, well I was gonna say that there is one way for Tampa to win. And I think we all know what that is. Cause he played against the Vikings last year and he had a hundred yards and a touchdown. Kenneth Gainwell. Kenneth Gainwell. Kenneth Gainwell had a DadBodSportsCards: Jesus Christ. Jesus. It's always a fucking Steelers connection. Which I which I have gained FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: well in fantasy. And I'm just to you know, Aaron, he hasn't done shit this week. Aaron: Yeah, I know he hasn't done it. But he did well last year against them. Maybe he can do it no, I'm kidding. They DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, yeah. Aaron: got Bucky. They're not gonna put I they're not I don't think they're DadBodSportsCards: No bucket Aaron: using I don't think they're using Kenny a lot. DadBodSportsCards: They're they're not because Bucky Irvin's playing well and Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: Gainwell isn't hitting the like he's not doing anything. He's a running back, right? So Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: he's not he's not running the ball well like with the Bucks right now. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: And the Bucks haven't been in a situation where they need a dump off, but but they also have Bucky that can catch too. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Aaron: Mm. Yeah, so that's like they're kinda like the same archetype of running back, which is FlintTown: Bucky might be hurt though, too. DadBodSportsCards: Is he? Okay. Well, I mean that that's good that's good if you have Gainwell. It does not change anything. Aaron: Yeah. That changes everything. FlintTown: See, I took his advice. I took Gainwell for the win. Aaron: Yeah, there you go. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, I mean, I could see Tampa winning this, but I'm I'm gonna ride that Minnesota defense like the way I rode Ben Johnson's face. So, like, I mean, just gonna ride it out until it doesn't work. Aaron: Okay. DadBodSportsCards: And in the Bears case and Ben Johnson's case, it only took two weeks. So maybe that's all it takes for Aaron: Ha ha ha. DadBodSportsCards: Minnesota. All right, next game. Next game is another toss-up game. I th I think we got the Baltimore Ravens at Dallas Cowboys. Who you got, Aaron? Aaron: It's a tough one because Dallas still looked good last week. Gonna go with Baltimore. Like I said, I think probably is Baltimore's year. They look good week one. Didn't look good that week last week. Especially FlintTown: That's mine. shit, I thought that was next. Aaron: with Lamar throwing that horrible pass to end the game. But FlintTown: Any cut now. Aaron: maybe the Stants are just better than we thought. I don't trust Dallas. Like the defense isn't that good. Their offense their offense is pretty good. But it all could also be bad. Like both teams are inconsistent offensively, I think. I think Lamar can have a really good game or he can have a really bad game. I think think the same thing with Dak. But as an overall team, I think Baltimore's better. So I think they're gonna use this game to bounce back. And my player to watch is gonna be Lamar. He played not good at all and he had that game losing interception. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. All right, who you got fun? FlintTown: I have Dallas. Like you said, toss up game. It's kind of like whoever is riding high that day, to be honest. Th that's how I feel when I look at Dallas and the Baltimore Ravens. They're both decently good teams. I just I think home being at home, Dallas I think is gonna pull it off. DadBodSportsCards: All right, so I'm I'm right there with you. I picked Dallas. I think the only reason why I picked Dallas is because they're playing at home. Dallas is a whole totally different team when they're playing at home and everything. Aaron: Definitely. DadBodSportsCards: especially, especially Dak. Dak, CeeDee Lamb, I think it's gonna be a problem for the Ravens. but I also think Derrick Henry is gonna be a problem for the Cowboys. Like, I could see Derrick Henry having 200 yards rushing and three touchdowns this game, but then I can also see you know, C D Lamb having ten catches for like two hundred yards and everything. I think George Pickens is gonna have a good game this year because or this this game because he's already played two games where he hasn't really done anything. And he's the type of guy that's gonna be in Dak's ears. Like, give me the fucking ball. Like, even though he has a ton of drops, so far this season. But give me Dallas. I think I think that offense will be a little bit too much for Baltimore. and I I'm gonna give it to the home team on this one. A lot of these toss up games I've gone with the home team. Just because I think that's a safer play. But I'm not I'm like forty percent confident in my pick, but I I will go with Dallas. player to watch, player to watch is gonna be George Pickens. See if he can start stepping up this season. All Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: right. Neck next game could be another toss up. a surprising toss up, I I would say. Aaron: Right. DadBodSportsCards: But we got the Las Vegas Raiders at New Orleans Saints. Who you got, Aaron? Aaron: I have the Saints. I'm high on them. Not so high on Vegas, because I look at Vegas and I look at the teams they played versus teams the Saints have played. Vegas is 2-0, but they played Miami Week 1, which is basically a free win. And they played the Chargers, you know, divisional game. So they've played not quality teams. But the Saints. They played the Ravens, which we know are a quality team. And they played the Lions week one, which we know again are a quality team. They're better than what the Vegas has played. So I do have a lot more faith in the Saints. I think they're gonna be able to pull off this win against the Raiders. My player watches is gonna be Chris Olave. He is lighting it up this year. He is having an amazing first two games and I think that connection is gonna be really strong between Shuck and the lava. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. All right, Flint, who you got? FlintTown: I don't know if you for the Lions fan a quality team. As a Lions fan, I can even say that. Aaron: No I w I was hesitant, but I'm like, well, they're gonna be in the mix. FlintTown: Yeah. It just I I'm with you though, like getting Aaron: Yeah. FlintTown: me New Orleans, like they've played a lot better than I thought they were. And I thought, well maybe it's just because Detroit doesn't have a lot of their players on the secondary, so they were just, you know, playing against our weaknesses. But they've showed out. And they're under They're a lot better than what I thought they were gonna be. And I actually think they're gonna be a contender in the playoffs this year. So give me New Orleans. DadBodSportsCards: All right. So I'm the only one who's gonna go with the Las Vegas Raiders. And I'm gonna compare. there's a couple of things I'm gonna say why I think the Saints are gonna lose. And it has not it probably has nothing really to do with football in itself. Okay. I give me Kirk Cousins, because I've always been a Kirk Cousins fan. And there's my thumbs up like Caleb on the cart. Brock Bowers could be back. Like, and then you got Ashton Genty, who didn't play that well last week, but the the the Raiders still won. But again, they were playing, they played the the Chargers last week. So the reason why I'm gonna pick Aaron: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: the Raiders, not only because of Kirk Cousins and possibly Bowers coming back, is horse racing is the reason why. So, right. Aaron: Interesting. DadBodSportsCards: So, so like I feel like I feel like Chad Otocinco now. Like, so I'm gonna say, like, just just just hear me out, okay? There's certain horses in a horse race where if they are going neck and neck in a race, they don't do that well, right? Because they're just following the herd. There's other horses that are in the back, and all of a sudden on that last Quarter mile, you start seeing them creeping up, creeping up because they play better from behind. And I think that's what the New Orleans Saints is. Another reason, I don't think the New Orleans Saints coaching staff can game plan because it shows in these first two weeks that they game planned against a team and they got their fucking asses kicked right away against the Lions, and then Baltimore got up on them. But then FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: what happens? What happens? Game plans out the window, they just start playing fucking football, right? FlintTown: Horse racing! DadBodSportsCards: Yep. And then Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: and then and then and then you got the jockey just beating the shit out of that horse. And that horse is like, shit, I need to catch up to the herd. I'm not with I'm not with the herd right now. I need to catch up with a fucking herd. And that is what Tyler Shuck does. He plays from behind and they just fucking ball out, right? When you think it's garbage time, all of a sudden, like that momentum. Momentum is a thing in football. And for whatever reason, FlintTown: It is. DadBodSportsCards: That New Orleans Saints defense, when Shucks gets rolling, like something pops in their head, the game plan out the window, they're like, you what, we're just fucking playing football. I'm making millions of dollars fucking hitting people. Let's just fucking play football and see where it goes. We got we got a second year quarterback. Fuck it. Let's leave it all out in the line. And it's been working for them. This is why I think they're gonna lose, is because the Raiders ain't gonna jump up on the on the Saints. I think they're gonna be neck I think this game, Aaron: Mm. DadBodSportsCards: they're gonna be neck and neck, and there's gonna be no reason for them to go backyard ball. Right. so I I I think it's a close game, but give me give me Kirk Cousins and Brock Bowers and Ashton Genty over Tyler Shuck, Olave, and Camara? Aaron: H N. DadBodSportsCards: Kamara? A I mean, yeah, but A chan aka Travis E. T. or FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: yeah, Travis Etienne hasn't been doing anything. I is they Aaron: Yes. Yeah, they haven't done well at all, yeah. FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: ha he hasn't been playing well. So I don't know. I mean it's a home game for the Saints, so it could go to them. That that crowd's gonna be crazy. But I I I wanna see if my theory's right about the horse racing thing. I think the Saints are better when they're coming from behind, like a lot of gay dudes do. So coming from behind and then and then catching FlintTown: Like yeah. DadBodSportsCards: up and and possibly winning, right? So I don't think that's gonna happen. The Raiders aren't gonna jump up on them. So I think it's gonna be neck and neck and then it's gonna be a close game. All right. Next game. This one I had to change. I had to change this one because I originally picked one team and then I changed it. after I talking about A certain thing that we we talked about earlier. So Aaron for the Los Angeles Rams at Denver Broncos, who do you got, Aaron? Aaron: The Rams. They look good on Monday night. Devontae Adams, like you said, you don't think he could be a one, but I said he's still DadBodSportsCards: Monster. Right. Aaron: got it. So I don't know if Puka's gonna play week three, or if he's still dealing with whatever he's dealing with, but that team offensively is still really good. That team defensively is still really good. Aaron Donald, out of any interior defensive lineman has the highest pass rush win rate already. Not all time. This season. This season. He's at like thirty-five yeah, he's DadBodSportsCards: All time? Or this season? Jesus. Hey, he's been retired for three years. Aaron: at like thirty three to thirty-five percent and I think the next closest guy is like at twenty nine percent. So it looks like he hasn't missed a step. He had a TFL and I just that team, like I said, week one, that's a really well built team. And they got blown out week one, but that could have been because of the flight thing. So and it's in Australia, so I can excuse that. But I just think they're a lot better than the Broncos. Broncos played okay last week. They got the win. Their defense played well. Their offense, I still don't trust Bonex. So my player to watch is gonna be Devontae Adams for the Rams. What a monster game he had. And if he is the one again. I wanna see if he can replicate that against a better defense in the Broncos. DadBodSportsCards: Flint, who do you FlintTown: I have the Rams too. I don't know. Denver is kind of wishy washy. And I know it's at Denver in the Mile Hive Stadium. That is legit. And being like I think I feel like you're gonna go with Denver. And I know why Aaron: He is. FlintTown: and I know why because the Rams with the travel first week, then they came back, DadBodSportsCards: And they were home. Yep. FlintTown: and now they have a short week at Mile High Stadium. DadBodSportsCards: Well, I mean, they they played l they played last night. And this is this is the Monday night game. no, Sunday Sunday night, Sunday night game. So I mean it's a sh it's a semi short week, yeah. FlintTown: Yeah. Sunday night. S so it's short week. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. FlintTown: But they're playing at mile high and mile high is always harder to play in. That's you know what we've always heard. But gimme the Rams, man. D I that defense showed out and balled out. DadBodSportsCards: Yep. So you are correct. I am picking the Denver Broncos. I originally had the Rams on here and then I changed it to the Broncos because I'm gonna go the home team because it's another toss-up game for me. because because Jacksonville lost to Denver is mainly helped me pick Denver for this game because maybe that Mile High Stadium played an effect. FlintTown: Mm-hmm. DadBodSportsCards: the Rams not having Puka again, I don't think Devontae Adams is gonna have a big game like that against this defense. you know, Sertan, Sertane, however you say his name. but like I don't know. I think I think it's I think it's a thing, the Mile High Stadium. I think it'll be a close game. but I think the pass I think Denver's pass rush can get to Stafford, make some mistakes. my player to watch is gonna be Ferguson, the tight end for the Rams. And the reason why I say that, because if Ferguson has a good game, then the Rams are winning. Because that that's gonna alleviate all the pressure from from Devontae Adams, especially if Puka's not playing. So those targets have to go somewhere else. If Ferguson's playing well, that means things are opening up in the middle. And that means Stafford has time to dish the ball around. That will also give time for Adams to go like on deeper post and all that to get behind that Denver defense. So that's my player to watch. I will still pick Denver. I think they'll do just enough defensively and take that home field advantage for this game. All right, the last game on our schedule. is a big well could have been a big one, but everybody saw what happened with Caleb this week. We got the Philadelphia Eagles at the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. Who you got, Aaron? Okay. Aaron: I got Philly. I don't trust the Bears. And what I heard is that Case Keena might be the starting quarterback for the Bears. DadBodSportsCards: Correct. Yeah. he's in Aaron: Tyson Bayan is in concussion protocol right now. DadBodSportsCards: concussion protocol. Yep. Yeah, yeah. FlintTown: that's right. That's right. That's right. Aaron: So we don't know who the starting quarterback and I even think with Bajant, Chicago doesn't stand a chance. Well, I'm not gonna say doesn't stand a chance, but I don't think they're gonna win against Philly. Philly has improved their passing offense than years before, which is gonna be the key thing to beat the Bears, because the Bears pass defense isn't that good. Their secondary isn't that good. speaking of their secondary, I saw someone run a poll on Twitter. of who's gonna come back first, Caleb Williams or Kyler Gordon. Ninety five percent of people pick Caleb Williams. I was like Did you hear did you hear the thing DadBodSportsCards: A hundred percent. Hundred percent correct. Hundred percent that poll is right. Kyler Aaron: about Kyler Gordon's trainer? DadBodSportsCards: No, he's I mean, I heard he got arrested. I don't know what for, but Kyler Gordon's trash. FlintTown: Who's Kyler Garden? Aaron: Yeah. He's a cornerback. DadBodSportsCards: He's our he's our quar cornerback that that he drafted, he played he FlintTown: What's wrong with them? Aaron: He should always hurt. DadBodSportsCards: he's he's he's been hurt, especially after he signed the big contract that we gave him. And he's been he's been rehabbing with his own team. And why did why did his personal trainer get arrested? Aaron: Apparently he has fifteen identities. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Yeah. Yeah. FlintTown: Mm-hmm. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Who the fuck who the fuck knows? trade his ass. Get rid of him. We we pay the problem is we paid him money, so it's gonna be a lot of dead cap space when we get rid of him. We would love to have him back, but I mean, as a fan, I don't give a shit about him anymore because he's not putting the team first. So he got his money and he's thinking about himself. FlintTown: Could you just cut DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, but we're gonna that's gonna be a lot of dead cap space. Somebody's gonna want FlintTown: I know. DadBodSportsCards: it. We could probably get like a fifth or a sixth round pick for him. I'll take a fifth or sixth round, or maybe even a seventh round pick for him. FlintTown: Yeah. Just get rid DadBodSportsCards: Like fucking get get rid of him just 'cause FlintTown: of it. DadBodSportsCards: if he doesn't want to play, I don't I don't want I don't want him out there. Like I want FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: I want guys that are crying on the field like Caleb that wanna fucking play. Right. And I'm not meaning that disrespectfully. I just want I want my players I want the the team that I root for, I want the players to care. And it FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: doesn't seem like Kyler Gordon cares. Aaron: So my player to watch is gonna be Dontavion Wicks. He's played as a good wide receiver too the last couple weeks. I think he has seventy yards in both games. DadBodSportsCards: Yes. Mm-hmm. Aaron: This could be his game to shine. Devante Devante Smith has shined in his two games, but maybe Wicks can too in this game. DadBodSportsCards: All Flint, who do you got? Philly or the Bears? FlintTown: I got Philly. There's no way there is a way, I guess, but there's no way that I can see that a the third backup QB leading a team against Philadelphia. There's just like that's a hard team. You know what I mean? They got a great defense. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah, they got a good defense. LA's got a good defense. Yep. FlintTown: And it's just I can't see beaten Philly. Especially being I just I don't see it. DadBodSportsCards: Who's your player to watch? FlintTown: I'd say hurts. DadBodSportsCards: Okay. Alright, so I want everybody to see that I picked Philly, right? I'm fucking changing that because I'm fired up now. Case Keenum. FlintTown: Case Kenum. You're f you're Aaron: Ha ha ha. FlintTown: are you got you got a tattoo, Case Kenum, on your chest? DadBodSportsCards: Well, no, no. I'm not I'm not fire I'm not fired up about Case Keenum. Like, look, I was on Ben Johnson's ass last week because he did awesome week one. And then NFC Unfiltered and any TikToks that you've seen that we pushed out from that, I am like, hey, we lost that game because of fucking Ben Johnson. He tried to go toe to toe with Brian Flores rather than doing what should have been a better game plan and him trying to show the world that he's better than Flores, he owns Flores, yada yada yada, all that bullshit. Like I blame Ben Johnson for Caleb's injury because you put in a fucking third round pick tight end who can't fucking catch a ball, who dropped two balls in his fucking hand, and one of them would have been a touchdown. you kept running the ball, you kept putting your back to that Minnesota defense and fucking getting Caleb just destroyed. And eventually it caused Caleb to run out like on a bootleg to try to win it himself, and then he eventually got hurt. From overdoing it that whole game. I mean, it was just a bad game offensively. And then especially what Ben Johnson said to the team at halftime, hey, this is gonna go down to the wire. And I said it on the last podcast. I don't want to fucking hear that from my from my coach. But I'm a little fired up now because I'm like, everybody's gonna be saying that Chicago's gonna lose. I even put it down, Philly's gonna win. And the reason why I'm fucking changing it is because I'm fired up because I want us to be the underdog. And I'm not saying Ben Johnson is a genius and that he purposely did that to lose that last game and give us just an awful because we were so high. Everybody was so high in the Chicago Bears that you gotta have to tamper that down because it's a fucking long season. I'm not going that far, even though I put that in the group chat just as a just as a thought thing. But I'm gonna I'm gonna put my faith back in Ben Johnson. And when we played the Philadelphia Eagles last year on Black Friday, we beat the shit out of that defense. Aaron: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: Our offensive line, I think we ran over 300 yards on them. Aaron: It was yeah. DadBodSportsCards: now Caleb was a difference in that game because he did throw a game win a touchdown, or he put got us ahead more t past the comet. And that's gonna be a difference. But I'm gonna have faith that Ben Johnson's gonna get these guys riled up as being an underdog and we're gonna beat the shit out of that defense again. Is it gonna come from Case Keenum? Probably not. But I think they can get Menungay. Swift, motivated enough. The key difference for this offensive line though is we don't have a fucking center. Our center's getting is our center has been getting mauled. Like what could happen to Flint in his hot tub this week is a bear like this is gonna get mauled, right? He's gonna see a black bear, and that black bear's gonna see Flint and be like, he's a fucking Lions fan. I'm gonna maul you, right? And then Flint doesn't have GNG's pepperoni nipples to throw at him. So That bear's probably gonna win and Flint's gonna lose a couple fingers. All right. But but he's gonna give a good fight. So our center is awful right now. It's time for him to prove why we got him, that we traded for him and everything. And he's gotta step it up because everybody on this team has to step it up if Caleb's out. Part of me wants to think that they're using all this injury stuff and Caleb's gonna play. I don't but because words matter, Ben Johnson, when he uses week to week on a player, usually means they're missing the next game. If he would have said day to day, I would have felt a lot better about Caleb playing on Monday night. But we'll ride it out with Case Keenum. I think the rest of the team will step it up. and we'll we'll beat Philly. Like we put Chicago does better as underdogs. I think a lot of us in general, maybe not Aaron so much because he's part of the new generation. But you tell Flint and I something that we can't do something, we'll pro we'll fucking prove you're wrong. We'll prove you wrong. Right. And I I think that's FlintTown: we'll do it. Yep. Yep. DadBodSportsCards: what I think that's what's gonna happen. We're in Chicago, Monday night football. That atmosphere's gonna be great. I don't know. I we're gonna pull a miracle. Like I'm I'm two percent confident in this pick. So but I just I'm I'm yeah, it's football. Ben FlintTown: I mean it's football. It's football. DadBodSportsCards: Johnson will get them fired up. I'll I have I'll put my faith in the coaching staff. And who knows, maybe we'll lose thirty seven to three. Who who the fuck knows? But I'm I'm I'm gonna put it on. Change it, the Bears winning this football game. And it's gonna be because we're gonna run all over them. And that's what I'm hoping. All right, you guys got anything else for for this week? We're at an hour and 41 minutes. I do want you to tell your your wife, Flint, that I play her in fantasy football this week. And I do want to give her a shout out. her TikTok name I know is Mommy Money85. but She did beat Flinttown sports cars this week in fantasy football. So he he got beat by his wife. And it was a close game. One, yeah, it was I was gonna say it was a close game. FlintTown: Yep. By like one point. One point. DadBodSportsCards: It was like one point, but she still won. And you know, she she was upset that we didn't get her in the other league. So we created this whole league that way we could play against her because she wanted to play fantasy football against us. And she is two and she just beat her husband. I don't know who she we I don't know who she beat week one. But now week three, she's coming up against me, and my team's fucking awful. Cause my team, my team was Caleb or nothing. And my team is awful. So, so Aaron: Yeah, yeah. DadBodSportsCards: she, I think she's a favorite by like 20 or 30 points to beat me this weekend. But like my Bears, I'm gonna scrap and I'm gonna try to beat the shit out of her fantasy football terms. I I don't want to get accused of like hitting a woman or anything, but fantasy football terms. I wanna try to beat the shit out of her. We created this whole league for her, so we can't have her go undefeated. We can't have her winning it. No. That would be wild if she won it all. FlintTown: Could you imagine that though? That'd be wild. She's DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. But but if she if she does win this league, she'll get invited to the other league too. Then we'll have two chances to to to FlintTown: Yeah. DadBodSportsCards: beat beat her. Yeah. But yeah, that let her know. Let let her see this. That way she knows that, hey, she's on the pod. Like we would love to have her on the podcast. You know, even though she does she cares more about college football. But we would love to have her. And then also anybody else, anybody that's listening. If you're an NFC North fan, we need more NFC North people for the for the unfiltered one. I would like to get like a mix of people and everything. Aaron's not invited to that because he's AFC North. And FlintTown: And DadBodSportsCards: I mean FlintTown: I was gonna say I just got a text like half an hour ago from someone and I gotta talk to you about, so DadBodSportsCards: okay. Okay. That's all right. No, you're you're good. You're good. All right, you guys. Okay. FlintTown: Sorry. It's about a podcast. It's about a podcast. DadBodSportsCards: You guys got anything else going on? Aaron's looking off somewhere because he's probably looking for a quarterback for his team. Aaron: I am. DadBodSportsCards: He's probably on Drew Aller's Instagram page. Like, what is he doing? What is he doing? Can he let's get you in the start of lineup? Right, right, in practice. Aaron: Reps has he gone this week. DadBodSportsCards: All right. Again, social media. It's fucking awful. The whole Caleb thing and everything and all that. I mean, there's two sides to it. I mean, whatever. Make fun of my quarterback. Make fun of but I will come at you, especially if you don't talk to me normally about football and the Bears. FlintTown: Yeah. Like I send you stuff all the time, but we talk on a normal basis and I'll joke around with ya, have fun with ya, and it's all love. DadBodSportsCards: Yeah. yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like I I Yeah. Yeah. Like I have like like Flint sent me sent us a video in our group chat of him in the hot tub with his super small nipples, right? Because he was trying to show G and G. If G if G if G and G sent us a video in a hot tub, like FlintTown: He ha ha DadBodSportsCards: you see that you see that picture on Flint above like above his left hand, that's how big G and G's nipples are. That's like it that's that's how that's Yes, that it's exactly like that. That big. Now think of how big on that and this guy G and G that we're buddies with. He's a Packers fan, so fuck him. Like that's on his chest. That's how big his nipples are. And yeah. FlintTown: Ha DadBodSportsCards: And we only know that 'cause we did a podcast with him one time, but his dial up internet couldn't upload. And his FlintTown: What? DadBodSportsCards: he was he was wearing like a white like well a a tank top. I should a white tank top. And every now and then every now FlintTown: It was DadBodSportsCards: and then you'd see it come out. You see it come out. So for his sake, thankfully it didn't upload in his dial up internet. But we always give him a shit for it because that's what that's what we fucking do. But all right, we're hour forty-five minutes. this will be released Wednesday, probably early Wednesday evening. I will let Riverside software do its thing. and I'm hoping it's picked up on some of the things that you guys talked about, 'cause I hate manually going through it on this software. So hopefully it picks it up. And if not, I will try to manually get some, especially, you know, Aaron's hot takes. So all right. I don't have anything else. You guys good? All FlintTown: Mm. Aaron: Yep. FlintTown: No, I'm good. DadBodSportsCards: right, peace out, everyone. Aaron: Are yes.
