- 0:17Speaker 2: Fox Sports Radio.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox That is eight
- 0:22Speaker 1: seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Israel goudieas I love
- 0:26Speaker 1: him to death, but you never know. He is so strange.
- 0:29Speaker 1: You never know what story from Dan Byer is gonna
- 0:32Speaker 1: make as he perk up and get excited. And somehow
- 0:35Speaker 1: when Dan announce lifetime bands for certain San Antonio fans
- 0:39Speaker 1: is he was outraged.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Talk about big talk. There's no way you can keep
- 0:44Speaker 3: up a lifetime band. So this guy that ran on
- 0:47Speaker 3: the court, he's probably in his twenties. You're telling me
- 0:50Speaker 3: that fifty years from now, when this guy wants to
- 0:53Speaker 3: go to a Spurs game, that ban is still gonna
- 0:56Speaker 3: be on. He's you know how many crazy things are
- 0:58Speaker 3: gonna happen in this world over the next years, and
- 1:00Speaker 3: he's gonna go to a Spurs game and said, no, no, no,
- 1:02Speaker 3: you tried to take a selfie one time, Get out
- 1:04Speaker 3: of here. This guy's gonna go to another game, lifetime
- 1:07Speaker 3: band get out of here, right.
- 1:08Speaker 1: But you have him going to games when he's seventy something,
- 1:11Speaker 1: which I agree with you on.
- 1:12Speaker 4: He'll look different. No one's gonna know, but I think
- 1:16Speaker 4: he'll probably end up going to a game when he's
- 1:18Speaker 4: like thirty something.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I don't think a lifetime I think he can show
- 1:21Speaker 1: up to tomorrow night, can get into the game.
- 1:23Speaker 5: All right, one, that's fine.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I put it in a blaze where you can't one
- 1:29Speaker 1: up me. I have him gone to the next game.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Well, there's people doing interviews with Maxison on news stations,
- 1:35Speaker 3: so you could go anyway.
- 1:36Speaker 5: This guy could go anyway.
- 1:37Speaker 6: Guys, Just an update on that story. The NBA actually
- 1:40Speaker 6: wanted to give him a penalty of forcing him to
- 1:42Speaker 6: go to regular season games, but they needed it too harsh,
- 1:46Speaker 6: so they just said lifetime ban, which would include playoffs.
- 1:51Speaker 5: Thank you, Dan, I always a good information.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Yes, tailors in a very good mood.
- 1:55Speaker 7: Today.
- 1:55Speaker 4: The Nicks are up one game to nothing. Fell asleep
- 2:00Speaker 4: in by ten.
- 2:01Speaker 1: That was not their a game. It was like a
- 2:03Speaker 1: B minus C plus game. They played well in the
- 2:05Speaker 1: second half. They trailed by double digits in the third quarter,
- 2:11Speaker 1: and I feel like a lot of people here is
- 2:13Speaker 1: he and you could kind of shed some light on
- 2:15Speaker 1: just how good Carl Anthony Towns was last night.
- 2:18Speaker 4: But I feel like there's an entire city, well mainly.
- 2:20Speaker 1: The host at wfan who owe that man in apology
- 2:23Speaker 1: and maybe someone on our staff who owes that man
- 2:25Speaker 1: in apology.
- 2:26Speaker 4: But we'll get to that in a second.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Carl Anthony Towns does not get the credit that he deserves.
- 2:31Speaker 4: And man, did he.
- 2:32Speaker 5: Play well as Ricardo does Ricardo.
- 2:34Speaker 3: I'm sorry, Carl Anthony Towns.
- 2:36Speaker 5: And this is the one thing I was worried about
- 2:38Speaker 5: going into the.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Series, right in a level of playoffs he hasn't played
- 2:42Speaker 3: before against this guy who's supposed to be the next
- 2:46Speaker 3: great everything in Victor Wimbinyama, that maybe Carl will sort
- 2:50Speaker 3: of revert back to his you know ways from early Minnesota,
- 2:53Speaker 3: where it was like clearly nervous and fouling a lot
- 2:56Speaker 3: and not making shots and not being aggressive and whining
- 2:58Speaker 3: about nonfouls and every anything else. What he did yesterday
- 3:02Speaker 3: was seem like the most comfortable player on the floor.
- 3:05Speaker 3: It didn't matter where he was, right if Victor was
- 3:07Speaker 3: checking him on the perimeter. I'm just going to drive
- 3:09Speaker 3: right past you. Yes, if you know Victor is sort
- 3:11Speaker 3: of playing that zone between me and Josh Hart. If
- 3:14Speaker 3: he out goes out to contest Josh Hart, I'm just
- 3:16Speaker 3: gonna go get this offensive rebound and put it back in.
- 3:19Speaker 3: He seemed very calm, very just comfortable with what was
- 3:22Speaker 3: going on, and which is crazy because it's a product
- 3:24Speaker 3: of the offense that basically changed during the postseason.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yes.
- 3:28Speaker 3: So, yeah, Carl Anthony Towns was fantastic yesterday and deserves
- 3:31Speaker 3: all the credit for that game that Jalen closed out
- 3:34Speaker 3: for him.
- 3:34Speaker 8: Yeah, and is he Wemby was two of twelve with
- 3:37Speaker 8: kat as his primary defender. He shoots sixteen point six
- 3:40Speaker 8: percent in those situations. My favorite play of the game
- 3:44Speaker 8: wen Bin Yama in the corner off the side of
- 3:47Speaker 8: the backboard.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Here's what's gonna happen with Wemby because it's already started, right.
- 3:53Speaker 1: We marveled at him in the Western Conference finals, throughout
- 3:57Speaker 1: these playoffs, face of the league, future of the league,
- 3:59Speaker 1: and now everyone's saying he needs to bulk up, and
- 4:02Speaker 1: he needs to get inside an inside game and get
- 4:05Speaker 1: himself inside the paint.
- 4:06Speaker 4: Because he's playing too far away from the basket.
- 4:08Speaker 5: Well, it's definitely true and we've been We mentioned it yesterday, Like.
- 4:11Speaker 3: That's the one thing that he needs to actually work
- 4:16Speaker 3: on is the typical big man stuff, Right, Hey, get
- 4:19Speaker 3: in the post, have a good go to shot, you know,
- 4:22Speaker 3: just copy the Tim Duncan Banker just whatever. You're gonna
- 4:25Speaker 3: be able to get that shot off more easily than
- 4:27Speaker 3: every other player in the league just because of your height.
- 4:30Speaker 3: The problem with him is he can't maintain his position
- 4:32Speaker 3: in the post. You can just push him out and
- 4:34Speaker 3: it doesn't have to be another big guy like Karl
- 4:36Speaker 3: Anthony Towns. It could be somebody like oh g Annobi
- 4:39Speaker 3: or even an Alex Caruso from the last series. So
- 4:41Speaker 3: that's where he needs to bulk up.
- 4:43Speaker 1: By fear is that the things that we marvel about
- 4:46Speaker 1: as it relates to Wemby are the things that he
- 4:48Speaker 1: could do.
- 4:49Speaker 4: And he looks like Steph Curry when he does that.
- 4:51Speaker 1: And now you want to stick him inside the paint
- 4:52Speaker 1: with a skyhook like every other big man we've ever seen,
- 4:55Speaker 1: you know.
- 4:55Speaker 3: But that's the whole point, right, So he's almost working backwards.
- 4:58Speaker 3: He's taking and perfer affecting the skills on the perimeter,
- 5:02Speaker 3: if you will, that things that make him such an alien,
- 5:04Speaker 3: and then he will turn back to the things that
- 5:06Speaker 3: make a traditional big guy good. But I think, I
- 5:09Speaker 3: think at this point like we've already seen what he
- 5:12Speaker 3: can do on the perimeter. Sure, we've seen him. That
- 5:13Speaker 3: shot looks pure, it looks natural. We know he has it,
- 5:16Speaker 3: is what I say. And yes, there are certain things
- 5:19Speaker 3: he can work on still on that part of his game,
- 5:21Speaker 3: like driving, you know, avoiding people reaching in and being
- 5:23Speaker 3: able to strip that ball. But at the very least,
- 5:25Speaker 3: when you need a calming presence out there, you need
- 5:28Speaker 3: somebody or him near the bucket and just something that
- 5:33Speaker 3: you understand is a go to for him, and he
- 5:35Speaker 3: just doesn't have it yet, which is wild because he's
- 5:37Speaker 3: still four wins away from a championship.
- 5:39Speaker 7: Is he?
- 5:40Speaker 8: Brunton made eight baskets from within ten feet last night,
- 5:43Speaker 8: which ties the most by any player against the Spurs
- 5:46Speaker 8: in the playoffs this season. If you just looked at
- 5:48Speaker 8: Jalen Brunton's shot chart and Victor wenbin Yama's shot chart,
- 5:51Speaker 8: you would not be able to tell which one of
- 5:53Speaker 8: them was six foot two and which one of them
- 5:55Speaker 8: was seven foot four.
- 5:56Speaker 5: Shout out Tom Havistow for showing those shots.
- 5:58Speaker 8: You tried to do it without credit to Tom Hamshaw
- 6:02Speaker 8: deserves credit for shot charts.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I wasn't criticizing you. I'm proud of you. You took
- 6:07Speaker 1: his work and you made it your own, and I'd
- 6:08Speaker 1: be proud of you.
- 6:09Speaker 3: To be honest, I really only credited him because he's
- 6:11Speaker 3: been on the show and he's our friend. If it
- 6:13Speaker 3: was somebody else, I'd be like, yeah, go ahead, Taylor,
- 6:15Speaker 3: that's the hell of a stat.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But how do you feel about that Brunton getting inside,
- 6:18Speaker 1: getting wherever he wants basically, and playing closer to the
- 6:20Speaker 1: basket than a guy who was seven to four.
- 6:23Speaker 3: So there was a play early on that sort of
- 6:26Speaker 3: told you what the Knick's mentality was when it came
- 6:28Speaker 3: to Victor Wembinyama, Taylor, tell me if you remember this one,
- 6:31Speaker 3: Josh Hart early on, driving in tries to give him
- 6:34Speaker 3: a little shoulder and then go up for a layup
- 6:36Speaker 3: and Victor sent it, and it's like, at least they're
- 6:39Speaker 3: not afraid. In the end, that was one of three.
- 6:42Speaker 3: It was only three blocks. It was only three blocks,
- 6:44Speaker 3: which is crazy to say about somebody. But it was
- 6:46Speaker 3: only three blocks from Victor, and so Jalen is not
- 6:49Speaker 3: going to shy away from getting to his spot. What
- 6:52Speaker 3: he's trusting is that their offense is designed in a
- 6:55Speaker 3: way that when I get to my spot, Victor won't
- 6:57Speaker 3: be quite as close, and so I can still operate
- 7:00Speaker 3: as normal.
- 7:00Speaker 5: And if you remember a lot of you know, you're
- 7:03Speaker 5: not going to check.
- 7:03Speaker 3: The tape, But if you go back and check the
- 7:04Speaker 3: tape and look at some of those atos the aftertime
- 7:07Speaker 3: out plays for the thunder, Basically, they just found a
- 7:10Speaker 3: way to get Shay on a side of the floor
- 7:12Speaker 3: where Victor is not make one move and boom, He's
- 7:15Speaker 3: got his classic mid range jumper. And so I think
- 7:17Speaker 3: Jalen saw that and says, Okay, I don't need to
- 7:20Speaker 3: be afraid of Victor Wimbinyama this entire series. I can
- 7:23Speaker 3: go ahead and you know, get into the paint and
- 7:25Speaker 3: try to find my shot and if it's not there,
- 7:27Speaker 3: get off of it.
- 7:27Speaker 5: But he's not avoiding it altogether.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Taylor hates win probability, so do I, by the way,
- 7:32Speaker 1: and I am wondering what happened inside Taylor's household when
- 7:36Speaker 1: in the third quarter. With about six minutes ago in
- 7:38Speaker 1: the third quarter, ESPN flashed up ABC did that the
- 7:42Speaker 1: Spurs had a ninety four point one wind probability.
- 7:46Speaker 8: I respect so much. How wrong the win probability is.
- 7:49Speaker 8: Consistently the win probability doesn't take into account heart. Yes,
- 7:55Speaker 8: not Josh Hart.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Yes, but yes.
- 7:58Speaker 1: We have never celebrated a guy more who went one
- 8:01Speaker 1: for five from the field than we are today with
- 8:03Speaker 1: Josh Hart.
- 8:03Speaker 7: It's amazing.
- 8:04Speaker 8: Anyway, this next team has no quit right now after
- 8:08Speaker 8: that comeback, we're renaming everything. You go to a bodega,
- 8:11Speaker 8: you order a brunts and egg and cheese. There talks
- 8:13Speaker 8: to rebuild the statue of Liberty, get that French thing
- 8:16Speaker 8: out of there and replace it with the statue of
- 8:18Speaker 8: Brunson where he's doing his three point celebration. It is
- 8:21Speaker 8: poetic that Jalen Brunson has that type of performance in
- 8:25Speaker 8: the NBA Finals, in the building that Becky Hammond's jersey
- 8:29Speaker 8: hangs from the rafter after she continues to double down
- 8:33Speaker 8: on how wrong she has been about him.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yes, if the win probability is ninety four point one percent,
- 8:39Speaker 1: the other team on the other side of that has
- 8:41Speaker 1: your right where you want Mark where they want you.
- 8:43Speaker 1: They did come out exactly how I wanted. But you guys,
- 8:45Speaker 1: we knew exactly what you meant.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Speaking of things not coming out the way that you wanted,
- 8:51Speaker 3: there were a couple of players who had a huge
- 8:53Speaker 3: impact in this game that we haven't mentioned yet. One
- 8:55Speaker 3: was Josh Hart. The other one we did mention it
- 8:57Speaker 3: was Karl Anthony Towns. Jalen Brunton, your boy Taylor A
- 9:00Speaker 3: plus six and the plus minus Carl Anthony Towns a
- 9:03Speaker 3: plus fourteen, Josh harta plus twenty two. Karl Anthony Towns.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I was saying earlier, how comfortable he looks. He looks
- 9:08Speaker 3: like he's ready to win a championship, which I wouldn't
- 9:11Speaker 3: have said, you know, predicted about a week ago.
- 9:14Speaker 5: And Taylor Stugatz, Yeah, was not as confident about his
- 9:18Speaker 5: boy Karl Anthony Towns. No, No, quite recently, right.
- 9:20Speaker 9: No.
- 9:21Speaker 1: In fact, we played a game called close your Eyes.
- 9:24Speaker 1: We all played it. We'll play back that sound right now,
- 9:27Speaker 1: and Taylor, when we play it.
- 9:28Speaker 4: You should close your ears.
- 9:30Speaker 8: Yeah, so everybody knows what the eye test is. This
- 9:32Speaker 8: is the close your eyes test. The Knicks don't pass
- 9:35Speaker 8: it for me. Close your eyes and picture Karl Anthony
- 9:38Speaker 8: Town's winning an NBA title. You can't. Did Front Sports
- 9:41Speaker 8: already develop an AI.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Tailor, Taylor.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I think James Dolan could use that to keep you
- 9:49Speaker 3: out of MSCHI for life, for a life.
- 9:53Speaker 8: So you guys are doing this as some kind of gotcha.
- 9:56Speaker 8: I've said repeatedly Knicks fans, we're allowed to say anything
- 10:00Speaker 8: about our guys. There are guys. So if a Knicks
- 10:02Speaker 8: fan comes to me and says, hey, you know what,
- 10:05Speaker 8: Cat's kind of soft, I look at him and I'm like, yeah,
- 10:06Speaker 8: he's kind of got to get that figured out. If
- 10:08Speaker 8: a Spurs fan comes to me and says Cat's soft,
- 10:11Speaker 8: it's on site. You can catch these hands now, So
- 10:13Speaker 8: you have to.
- 10:14Speaker 3: If you're playing the close your eyes game, right and
- 10:17Speaker 3: you're a Knicks fan, you always have to see the
- 10:20Speaker 3: possibility of a championship. It's the close your eyes game.
- 10:22Speaker 3: It's anything as possible and you couldn't see it.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Yes you can.
- 10:26Speaker 4: I am not certain.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I am not certain there's anyone who wants this more
- 10:31Speaker 1: than Taylor, and I'm including the players on the Knicks.
- 10:33Speaker 1: But this is how confident Taylor was, again during a
- 10:36Speaker 1: game of Close Your eyes, which he can play but
- 10:38Speaker 1: Spurs fans can't.
- 10:40Speaker 4: But let's hear it again.
- 10:41Speaker 8: Yeah, so everybody knows what the eye test is. This
- 10:43Speaker 8: is the close your eyes test. The Knicks don't pass
- 10:46Speaker 8: it for me. Close your eyes and picture Karl Anthony
- 10:49Speaker 8: Town's winning an NBA title.
- 10:50Speaker 4: You can't.
- 10:52Speaker 9: I can't hear that enough.
- 10:54Speaker 8: So Stu, Stu is doing this thing where he's trying
- 10:56Speaker 8: to pile on. What he's conveniently leaving out is that
- 11:00Speaker 8: clip was shortened because the next couple of seconds, these
- 11:03Speaker 8: are the next couple of seconds.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Let me close my eyes and imagine it. Hold on
- 11:06Speaker 4: a second. Okay, he's right, you got me.
- 11:12Speaker 9: But I was supporting a teammate there, That's all I
- 11:14Speaker 9: was doing.
- 11:15Speaker 4: I didn't want you to feel alone.
- 11:16Speaker 7: Man.
- 11:16Speaker 8: Also, God forbid a fan shows a little bit of
- 11:20Speaker 8: vulnerability around here. Everybody's just gonna jump on me the
- 11:24Speaker 8: second I just voice a slight concern.
- 11:26Speaker 1: You've been jumping on me since the start of the playoffs,
- 11:29Speaker 1: claiming I'm not a real Knicks fan because I haven't
- 11:31Speaker 1: been around.
- 11:32Speaker 4: For the last decade.
- 11:33Speaker 8: You missed the Damon Dotson, You missed the Damon Dotson days.
- 11:37Speaker 8: You really ought to be there.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I gotta be honest.
- 11:39Speaker 1: When I closed my eyes, I could see it, but
- 11:40Speaker 1: I didn't want to bail on you.
- 11:42Speaker 4: I wanted to support my teammate. That's what we're supposed
- 11:44Speaker 4: to do around.
- 11:44Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say this, Taylor, if you if the
- 11:46Speaker 3: Knicks go on and win and you get your championship
- 11:48Speaker 3: T shirt and it's got all the players on it,
- 11:50Speaker 3: You're gonna have to just put an X over Karl
- 11:52Speaker 3: Anthony Towns.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Face or like shade of it in black because you
- 11:54Speaker 5: can't picture it.
- 11:55Speaker 4: I'm picture it.
- 11:56Speaker 8: I'm a big cat guy, all right.
- 12:00Speaker 4: He's got three dogs. We need more, doll.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gotson Company
- 12:06Speaker 2: live weekdays at three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific on

- 12:15Speaker 1: Ad Nan Verk and Sean Sharani. You're gonna join us
- 12:17Speaker 1: on the show today. Sham's coming up in about fifteen minutes.
- 12:21Speaker 1: He is in San Antonio for the NBA Finals. A
- 12:24Speaker 1: big game too tonight, Mikey, what do I do here?
- 12:27Speaker 1: With a text I received from Taylor? He's in New York.
- 12:29Speaker 1: He's not here. The games being played in San Antonio.
- 12:32Speaker 1: He wants to be in New York. He wants to
- 12:34Speaker 1: feel the buzz, he wants to be around the action.
- 12:36Speaker 1: All the action is in Texas tonight, but yet he
- 12:39Speaker 1: is still there. This is the text I got from
- 12:42Speaker 1: Mikeya on a Friday, from Taylor, Hey, just got to
- 12:46Speaker 1: New York.
- 12:47Speaker 4: I might be late. I forgot pants.
- 12:51Speaker 9: What is happening? I don't know.
- 12:57Speaker 4: Let's explain, Taylor, explain to the audience what that will happened.
- 13:01Speaker 8: So I was on a six am flight out of
- 13:03Speaker 8: Fort Lauderdale this morning. Last night, I was too tired.
- 13:07Speaker 8: I was like, I'm gonna do the thing where I
- 13:08Speaker 8: go to sleep and I wake up early to pack.
- 13:10Speaker 8: I wake up about four am. The lights are all dark.
- 13:14Speaker 8: I'm trying not to wake up my girlfriend. I'm throwing
- 13:17Speaker 8: things in a suitcase. I get to the airport, Mikey,
- 13:20Speaker 8: I'm looking at my bag. I packed every Knicks T
- 13:23Speaker 8: shirt I own right, every Knicks T shirt I own.
- 13:26Speaker 8: I have two jerseys in said suitcase and I'm looking.
- 13:29Speaker 8: I'm like, man, I how did I fit so many
- 13:32Speaker 8: T shirts? How did I fit so many jerseys? And
- 13:34Speaker 8: I'm trying to map out my outfit for this watch
- 13:36Speaker 8: party later. Where are my pants? No pants packed? Zero pants?
- 13:42Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 13:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that's unfortunate. How many Nick shirts do you own?
- 13:46Speaker 1: Just out of curiosity?
- 13:47Speaker 8: I mean in this suitcase right now, there's about twenty five.
- 13:50Speaker 7: But no pants. That's funny you say that, Taylor.
- 13:57Speaker 10: Quick aside, this is as close to a Knicks outfit
- 14:00Speaker 10: as I can give you. I've got an orange T
- 14:02Speaker 10: shirt and a Yankees hat. Yes, that's as close to
- 14:04Speaker 10: a Nick's outfit as I own, and I wore it
- 14:07Speaker 10: for you today.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Actually, yes, But let's focus on Taylor's problem here, his
- 14:10Speaker 1: predicament because he has no pants.
- 14:12Speaker 4: He only has T shirts with no pants.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Did you bring shorts because it's summertime up there it
- 14:16Speaker 1: should be warm? You don't, really, technically you don't need
- 14:18Speaker 1: pants right now.
- 14:20Speaker 8: So the only bottoms I have are the shorts I
- 14:23Speaker 8: wore onto the plane, right the only bottom. Somehow, I
- 14:26Speaker 8: have more jerseys than I have pants.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Okay, so you have to go out and purchase pants
- 14:31Speaker 1: and shorts. Is that what you're saying here? I mean,
- 14:33Speaker 1: what are you gonna do?
- 14:35Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm gonna have to I'm gonna have to find
- 14:37Speaker 8: somewhere to go. I didn't have time to go before
- 14:39Speaker 8: this because of the flight and the drive into where
- 14:43Speaker 8: I live. So I am I'm currently pantsless. Okay, we're
- 14:48Speaker 8: just wearing the shorts that we have right now. And
- 14:50Speaker 8: it was kind of a situation that I just said,
- 14:52Speaker 8: you know what, later tailor is going to figure this out.
- 14:55Speaker 8: Current tailor, he's enjoying the present. He's enjoying that the
- 14:58Speaker 8: knickser in the finals. Later tailor has to figure out
- 15:02Speaker 8: what store he's gonna go to, the nearest Abercrombie he
- 15:05Speaker 8: could run to so he could buy some shortzer pants.
- 15:08Speaker 10: Okay, this is the same later tailor that was packing
- 15:10Speaker 10: this morning, as opposed to the current tailor who would
- 15:14Speaker 10: have put pants in his suitcase.
- 15:16Speaker 7: Yes, a later tailor didn't.
- 15:17Speaker 10: And this is the same guy we're gonna trust to
- 15:20Speaker 10: figure out the situation later.
- 15:21Speaker 7: Okay, just making sure we get off.
- 15:23Speaker 8: Yeah, current current tailor last night kicked the problem to
- 15:28Speaker 8: later tailor.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Hang it out road. Yes, yes, we understand.
- 15:32Speaker 8: Like, if I packed last night, current tailor, there's almost
- 15:35Speaker 8: a zero percent chance current tailor forgets to pack pants
- 15:39Speaker 8: at eight pm, twelve hours in advance of his flight.
- 15:43Speaker 8: When when I'm worried about scheduling an uber, and we're
- 15:47Speaker 8: getting closer and closer to the boarding time. You could
- 15:50Speaker 8: see how I forgot Pat.
- 15:51Speaker 1: He needs to calm down, Mikey. He is just all
- 15:53Speaker 1: over the place. He is careening. He's like Gary el Hawane.
- 15:56Speaker 5: He does it.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Everyone's emotional.
- 15:58Speaker 1: They're forgetting their pants, They're not certain where they're going,
- 16:01Speaker 1: they're walking into people, and strangely in New York, everyone's saying, hey,
- 16:04Speaker 1: no problem, there's no fighting. We're all unified by the Knicks.
- 16:08Speaker 1: But everyone's going crazy. And I would have preferred tailor
- 16:10Speaker 1: paint the picture of him doing the radio.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Show without pants or shorts. That would have been fantastic.
- 16:16Speaker 8: Yes, I'm sitting on the plane in seven A and
- 16:20Speaker 8: it was almost like the scene and Home Alone, where
- 16:22Speaker 8: everybody's turning and going Kevin, Kevin, Kevin, and then the
- 16:26Speaker 8: mom screams Kevin. But I was just screaming pants.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Any Nick fans on that flight, they're all headed the
- 16:32Speaker 1: San Antonio.
- 16:33Speaker 8: I mean, yeah, nobody was going. Nobody was heading to Newark,
- 16:37Speaker 8: New Jersey this morning.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So you're gonna go to the nearest Abercrumbie and Fitch
- 16:42Speaker 1: to get yourself some expensive pants.
- 16:44Speaker 4: And shorts right after the jow here yeah, and like
- 16:48Speaker 4: I'm here.
- 16:48Speaker 8: Until the end of the finals, right. I just very
- 16:52Speaker 8: clearly was not prepared for this trip because I have
- 16:56Speaker 8: every time I go to a Knicks game it's been
- 16:58Speaker 8: in the playoffs recently, and they have the towel and
- 17:01Speaker 8: the shirt giveaways. I packed. I packed the towels, I
- 17:05Speaker 8: packed the shirts, I packed the foam finger, I got it.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Yes, zero pants.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Yes, you can go out on Madison Square Garden's floor
- 17:12Speaker 1: right now and have a T shirt cannon and have
- 17:14Speaker 1: enough shirts to go around for an entire session.
- 17:17Speaker 9: If you would love that job, wouldn't you.
- 17:18Speaker 4: I'm looking at your face right now.
- 17:20Speaker 9: That would be a dream you wouldn't it up?
- 17:22Speaker 1: He would quit this job to be the guy who
- 17:24Speaker 1: shoots T shirts out of a cannon at the Mecca.
- 17:29Speaker 8: I think a T shirt cannon is one of the best,
- 17:32Speaker 8: most underrated things at a sporting event. I've looked at
- 17:35Speaker 8: times like, hey, how much would it be just to
- 17:37Speaker 8: have a T shirt cannon? And my girlfriend's looking at
- 17:40Speaker 8: me when I have our credit card being like, you're
- 17:42Speaker 8: not putting a T shirt cannon.
- 17:44Speaker 7: On this credit card.
- 17:47Speaker 4: I'd listen to her seriously.
- 17:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:50Speaker 8: But if she's like, hey, Taylor, can you hand me
- 17:52Speaker 8: a T shirt? Imagine if I could just if I
- 17:54Speaker 8: could just load it up and just down the hallway.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Yes, but why would she do that? Why would she
- 17:59Speaker 1: ask you for a T shirt? I'm like you, she
- 18:01Speaker 1: doesn't forget anything. She is properly backed, has there, she
- 18:04Speaker 1: has everything stored away. Does she know that you forgot
- 18:08Speaker 1: your pants? Have you been her aware yet?
- 18:11Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 18:12Speaker 8: Yeah, she was. She was like the first text message, like,
- 18:14Speaker 8: she's like, hey, hope you have a safe flight, Text
- 18:17Speaker 8: me when you land. And the first text that she
- 18:19Speaker 8: woke up to was no.
- 18:21Speaker 10: Pants, no pants, I'm gonna overnight me my pants.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Wait no, but Mikey, I'm guessing that Taylor's girlfriend knew
- 18:29Speaker 1: before Taylor did that he didn't.
- 18:30Speaker 9: Back any pants Like that would be my guess.
- 18:33Speaker 8: No, so she didn't know because this is the situation
- 18:37Speaker 8: I kind of ran into. And I'm wondering if you
- 18:38Speaker 8: guys have ever had it where your significant others going
- 18:40Speaker 8: on a trip. Yeah, and the flight is early in
- 18:43Speaker 8: the morning, Like if my girlfriend was flying out at
- 18:45Speaker 8: six am and she asked me, Hey, Taylor, I need
- 18:48Speaker 8: you to drag me to the airport at four am. Sure,
- 18:51Speaker 8: no problem. But when the situation is reversed, a four
- 18:55Speaker 8: am flight to her was an instant no go. She
- 18:58Speaker 8: was like, hey, you're taking an Uber. Yeah, I'm not
- 19:01Speaker 8: waking up at four am.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I've experienced that.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yes, I'll take her to the airport anytime, any day,
- 19:07Speaker 1: does it matter. But God forbid, I asked her to
- 19:09Speaker 1: drop me off of the airport. I'm spending one hundred
- 19:12Speaker 1: and twenty on Uber Black. I mean Jesus.
- 19:17Speaker 10: I flew home from overseas and my wife was supposed
- 19:20Speaker 10: to pick me up at JFK and I landed and
- 19:24Speaker 10: I said, hey, I'm here.
- 19:25Speaker 7: Just where should I meet you? She goes, I sent
- 19:28Speaker 7: you a car, I sent you an Uber. And I
- 19:33Speaker 7: don't think I've ever been so hurt in my life.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Taylor, so you took an Uber to the airport
- 19:38Speaker 1: this morning. Are you planning on expensing that to me?
- 19:40Speaker 1: How is this going to work? I didn't tell you
- 19:41Speaker 1: to go to New York. I just said you could
- 19:42Speaker 1: go to New York. No, but I didn't say I
- 19:44Speaker 1: didn't say, hey, go to New York. I just said can.
- 19:47Speaker 1: He asked me if he could go, and I said, sure,
- 19:48Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 19:49Speaker 7: You know.
- 19:51Speaker 10: The amount of content I know Taylor is going to
- 19:54Speaker 10: walk away from this week.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you can expense the uber, Trallian, it's really my half.
- 20:00Speaker 1: You're calling it, thank you? Very free with all money? Yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 1: if it was your money, would you call it?
- 20:05Speaker 7: Absolutely not? I don't have money.
- 20:09Speaker 8: Here. How about this for a trade off. I won't
- 20:12Speaker 8: expense the uber. Yeah, but I could expense the pants.
- 20:15Speaker 11: Okay, I'd rather the uber. You're gonna go to Abercrombie
- 20:20Speaker 11: and get twelve pairs of pants if I say yes
- 20:23Speaker 11: to that, and probably some shorts and some surety, you
- 20:26Speaker 11: know I'm not gonna look at the itemized bill because
- 20:28Speaker 11: I never do. I mean, why would I?
- 20:31Speaker 1: Oh jesus, how do we feel going into tonight's game?
- 20:34Speaker 1: Because I think a lot of Nick fans would say
- 20:36Speaker 1: this is a house money game, and I say, no,
- 20:38Speaker 1: it's not a house money game. When you haven't been
- 20:41Speaker 1: to the finals since nineteen ninety nine and you so
- 20:44Speaker 1: desperately want to win an NBA championship, I don't view
- 20:47Speaker 1: tonight as a house money game.
- 20:50Speaker 4: I view tonight as the night the Knicks can win.
- 20:52Speaker 1: The championship and put the series away and I think
- 20:55Speaker 1: the Knicks are gonna have that exact same attitude.
- 20:57Speaker 9: I'm not gonna say.
- 20:58Speaker 1: I'm not saying San Antonio's not going to be a
- 21:00Speaker 1: desperate basketball team.
- 21:01Speaker 4: They are.
- 21:02Speaker 1: They know they have to win this game in order
- 21:04Speaker 1: for them to have a shot at winning an NBA title.
- 21:07Speaker 1: But the Knicks also know, and I like this Knicks
- 21:09Speaker 1: team's mentality, they also know, hey we win tonight.
- 21:14Speaker 4: We go up two oh.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Series is a rap going back to Madison Square Garden.
- 21:19Speaker 8: I think Knicks fans it's fair if they look at
- 21:22Speaker 8: this game as a house money game, But I don't
- 21:25Speaker 8: think the team goes in with that mentality because if
- 21:27Speaker 8: you told most Knicks fans, hey, before this series starts,
- 21:31Speaker 8: you're going to be coming back to Madison Square Garden
- 21:33Speaker 8: and it's going to be split one one, one hundred
- 21:36Speaker 8: percent of Knicks fans are are taking that almost every time.
- 21:40Speaker 8: But where I think this Knicks team has been different,
- 21:43Speaker 8: and it's kind of shown they've been different this postseason.
- 21:46Speaker 8: Their mentality when when they have teams backed up against
- 21:50Speaker 8: the wall, they'll put your foot on your neck and
- 21:53Speaker 8: crush you like you look at the three closeout games
- 21:56Speaker 8: from Cleveland and Philadelphia and Atlanta have won those closeout
- 22:01Speaker 8: games by an average point of almost forty points per game.
- 22:05Speaker 8: Like this team seems to play their best when you
- 22:08Speaker 8: would expect the other team to be at their most desperate.
- 22:11Speaker 10: In my opinion, the Knicks had no business winning Game
- 22:14Speaker 10: one after like ten days off agree and then Jalen
- 22:18Speaker 10: Brunson getting hurt twice in the game, like they had
- 22:21Speaker 10: no business winning that game in San Antonio.
- 22:24Speaker 8: The fact that they got it, this is a step
- 22:26Speaker 8: on their throat game.
- 22:27Speaker 10: This is a let's end this season, this series before
- 22:31Speaker 10: the Spurs can find themselves getting back into it.
- 22:34Speaker 7: This is not the game that you want to lose.
- 22:36Speaker 7: I get that.
- 22:37Speaker 10: You could say it's house money because oh we come
- 22:39Speaker 10: back one to one, But this is not that. This
- 22:41Speaker 10: is this is the time to win, win the whole series.
- 22:44Speaker 7: Tonight, Game two, the most important game of the series.
- 22:48Speaker 4: Taylor, I understand what it is you're saying.
- 22:50Speaker 1: They already get listen, they already set They already accomplished
- 22:53Speaker 1: what they set out to accomplish, which every road team
- 22:56Speaker 1: will tell you win one of two on the road. Okay,
- 22:59Speaker 1: but they won game one, and to Mikey's point, they
- 23:02Speaker 1: didn't play that well in game one. They got the
- 23:05Speaker 1: Spurs got the Knicks like C plus game. We haven't
- 23:08Speaker 1: seen the Knicks a game yet, and granted we haven't
- 23:11Speaker 1: seen the Spurs a game yet. And I suspect the
- 23:14Speaker 1: Knicks know what they're gonna get tonight is san Antonio's
- 23:17Speaker 1: a game. And because this team is so uber competitive,
- 23:20Speaker 1: with Brunson, with heart, with all these guys who have
- 23:22Speaker 1: played together forever, I think they know exactly what they're
- 23:25Speaker 1: stepping into tonight with san Antonio, and they need to
- 23:28Speaker 1: match that intensity. And because they care enough, and because
- 23:31Speaker 1: they don't look at this as a house money game,
- 23:33Speaker 1: they look at this as hey, let's leave no doubt,
- 23:36Speaker 1: let's sweep the Spurs. They will match their intensity because
- 23:39Speaker 1: they are not complacent just being up one game to nothing.
- 23:42Speaker 4: They want to be up to well going back home.
- 23:45Speaker 8: It is strange that both teams are going into this
- 23:48Speaker 8: game too saying we're gonna play a lot better than
- 23:51Speaker 8: Game one and let's see who's best is going to
- 23:53Speaker 8: be better than the other team's best. But if you're
- 23:56Speaker 8: the Spurs and the Spurs are saying, hey, we're gonna
- 23:58Speaker 8: be playing better in game two, We've kind of heard
- 24:01Speaker 8: that narrative all playoffs of teams thinking that they're going
- 24:04Speaker 8: to have a response for this next team, and then
- 24:06Speaker 8: next team having this overwhelming response. Like Kenny Atkinson last
- 24:10Speaker 8: series was saying, we're up analytically in this series after
- 24:13Speaker 8: three games. Kenny Atkinson, how did that work out for
- 24:16Speaker 8: you in game four? You didn't even show up in
- 24:18Speaker 8: game four?
- 24:18Speaker 4: Ye put it on the ball.
- 24:19Speaker 1: As Kenny Atkinson getting ready right now for Game two
- 24:23Speaker 1: of the NBA Finals.
- 24:25Speaker 7: Analytically, they're right there.
- 24:29Speaker 9: I forgot about poor Kenny Atkinson, but he's still a coach.
- 24:33Speaker 4: So I'll go ahead, Taylor Stu.
- 24:35Speaker 8: I have a little game here that i'd like to
- 24:37Speaker 8: play with you guys. Okay, Yeah, it's called something or Nothing?
- 24:42Speaker 4: Oh okay, I like it? Keep going just off the
- 24:46Speaker 4: name alone.
- 24:46Speaker 8: You're you like it?
- 24:47Speaker 1: Well?
- 24:47Speaker 4: Of course?
- 24:48Speaker 1: Something or Nothing. I've been waiting to play this game
- 24:49Speaker 1: my entire life. Where's it been?
- 24:51Speaker 4: Go ahead? How do we play it?
- 24:53Speaker 8: So you'd expect a big response from the Spurs in
- 24:55Speaker 8: game two, But after the Game one loss, Dylan Harper
- 25:00Speaker 8: reposted a TikTok that was slandering Daron Fox, saying that
- 25:05Speaker 8: Daron Fox paid tribute to James Harden with his three
- 25:09Speaker 8: of thirteen statline. Now he on reposted it afterwards, so
- 25:14Speaker 8: it might have been a mistake, but something or nothing.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Wow, I love that Dylan Harper. He's a rookie, right,
- 25:22Speaker 1: I mean, I love this kid. He was their best
- 25:25Speaker 1: player in Game one and somehow they sat him in
- 25:27Speaker 1: the fourth quarter.
- 25:28Speaker 4: This is something.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Dylan Harper taking shots at his own teammate for being bad.
- 25:33Speaker 1: James Harden's not a compliment. James Harden's an insult.
- 25:37Speaker 9: Jim Jimbo.
- 25:40Speaker 7: This is something. I mean.
- 25:41Speaker 10: This is because no matter what happens, it was still
- 25:44Speaker 10: on his phone. It was still in his hand, even
- 25:48Speaker 10: if he accidentally reposted it.
- 25:50Speaker 7: Yes, someone sent it to him to say, hey, check
- 25:53Speaker 7: this out. It's something it's being talked about.
- 25:55Speaker 1: And more importantly, it's been sent to Daron Fox, so
- 25:58Speaker 1: he knows it's out there and he knows it's kur
- 26:00Speaker 1: see of his teammate, Dylan Harper.
- 26:01Speaker 8: This is something Taylor, And it wasn't like Harper, you know,
- 26:05Speaker 8: was in the game down the stretch, like he got
- 26:08Speaker 8: benched in favor for Fox. It's it doesn't seem like
- 26:12Speaker 8: it's a coincidence that this is post this is coming
- 26:14Speaker 8: up on his timeline.
- 26:15Speaker 4: Yes, what a time we live in.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Dylan Harper sending a message to his coach and doing
- 26:20Speaker 1: so this is really absolutely incredible. He is doing so
- 26:23Speaker 1: not directly but via TikTok. Mikey A has a question
- 26:27Speaker 1: for Taylor. I also need to get to a beef
- 26:30Speaker 1: with Nick fans and Elmo, and plus we have the
- 26:33Speaker 1: poll questions to wrap up the week. Mikey A, what
- 26:35Speaker 1: is your question here for Taylor's We head into a
- 26:37Speaker 1: big game too, Nixon spurs NBA Finals. I want the
- 26:41Speaker 1: Knicks to put it away tonight, but go ahead, Mikeya.
- 26:44Speaker 10: So, Taylor, we were listening to ad Nan and Stu
- 26:46Speaker 10: Got's talk about how they don't like to be on
- 26:49Speaker 10: Tech's group checks during games and stuff, and I'm wondering,
- 26:53Speaker 10: with you being the way you are during Knicks games,
- 26:56Speaker 10: do you want anybody texting you or are you just
- 26:59Speaker 10: like leave me alone even not being in the same room.
- 27:03Speaker 8: So, if you're just a casual fan, I don't want
- 27:06Speaker 8: you texting and popping in and checking in with your
- 27:10Speaker 8: ill informed takes. If you're like a diehard Nick fan
- 27:14Speaker 8: and one of my close friends. I don't mind texting
- 27:16Speaker 8: you during the game.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Okay, so no one can really text you unless they're
- 27:21Speaker 1: a diehard. Just that we're understanding this quite quickly, right,
- 27:24Speaker 1: unless you see them at your level of Nick fandom,
- 27:27Speaker 1: they're not allowed to text you.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Is that the deal?
- 27:30Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 27:30Speaker 8: Like, I don't need somebody texting me like, oh no,
- 27:33Speaker 8: Jalen Brunson rolled his ankle, like, yeah, I'm watching the game.
- 27:35Speaker 8: I could see that. Jalen Brunston rolled his ankle.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Thanks, Yeah, I got it.
- 27:39Speaker 7: Yeah, give me the Mendoza line.
- 27:41Speaker 10: Give me the person that's like this is this is
- 27:43Speaker 10: his best a Nick fan that can't text me?
- 27:45Speaker 4: I think it's me? I do I think it's me.
- 27:47Speaker 1: I have a feeling that it's me because he views
- 27:49Speaker 1: himself as a bigger Nick fan than I am, even
- 27:52Speaker 1: though I've been rooting for this team for forty five years.
- 27:54Speaker 9: I mean, it's unbelievable.
- 27:56Speaker 8: Yeah, you took a convenient like ten to fifteen years
- 28:00Speaker 8: off where you started rooting for Mario Chalmers and those boys.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Yeah, yep.
- 28:05Speaker 1: When Carolina has down years, I mean, are you rooting
- 28:08Speaker 1: the same way as you are when they're having great years?
- 28:11Speaker 4: Seriously, who does that. No one does.
- 28:14Speaker 8: Well, I haven't had kids yet, so my level of
- 28:16Speaker 8: fandom hasn't really slipped off.
- 28:18Speaker 4: Sure, are you blaming it on the kids? Is that
- 28:20Speaker 4: what you're doing there?
- 28:21Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 28:22Speaker 8: It seems like everybody's point of like when their fandom
- 28:24Speaker 8: really takes a dip. It's either like your team wins
- 28:27Speaker 8: a title and you stop caring less, or that you
- 28:29Speaker 8: have kids and you start caring less.
- 28:30Speaker 4: For me, it was kids priorities change.
- 28:32Speaker 1: It's not about not loving sports as much as I
- 28:35Speaker 1: used to, which just my priorities have shifted where sports
- 28:37Speaker 1: is no longer the most important thing in my life.
- 28:40Speaker 4: They used to be now it's my children. I apologize,
- 28:45Speaker 4: I guess.
- 28:46Speaker 10: I mean, so is it Nicks or is this like
- 28:49Speaker 10: every team? So like Yankees are in the World Series?
- 28:51Speaker 10: You want people texting you or it doesn't matter.
- 28:55Speaker 7: Uh.
- 28:55Speaker 8: For the most part, I, like I said with add In,
- 28:59Speaker 8: I isolate during the game. Ideally my phone is off
- 29:02Speaker 8: to the side and it's like on do not Disturb
- 29:05Speaker 8: and I'm not even thinking about my phone, Like during timeouts,
- 29:09Speaker 8: I'll go to Twitter and just check to see what
- 29:10Speaker 8: people are talking about. But in terms of communicating with people,
- 29:14Speaker 8: I already really don't like communicating with people, so we know,
- 29:17Speaker 8: during a game that I care about, I want to
- 29:19Speaker 8: communicate even less.
- 29:20Speaker 1: EPJSON is familiar with your work. EPJSON, come to the microphone.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Please.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Has Taylor been ignoring your text during Knicks games? I mean,
- 29:27Speaker 1: what's going on here?
- 29:28Speaker 12: You know we have a show group text right, and
- 29:30Speaker 12: I sent some A plus material the other night in
- 29:34Speaker 12: the middle of the first quarter, and just for the listeners.
- 29:37Speaker 12: Because it's A plus material, I feel compelled to read it.
- 29:40Speaker 12: This is this is what I wrote to you, guys.
- 29:42Speaker 12: I wonder what David Stern would say if he was
- 29:45Speaker 12: told that the New York Knicks would be playing in
- 29:47Speaker 12: their first NBA Finals in twenty seven years and they'd
- 29:49Speaker 12: be wearing their traditional home whites and their starting center
- 29:52Speaker 12: would be wearing lime green and fluorescent yellow sneakers. I mean,
- 29:57Speaker 12: that's hilarious material ignored by the room. I'm wondering for Taylor.
- 30:02Speaker 12: Is this the problem that I violate the rule of
- 30:05Speaker 12: texting you during the game.
- 30:06Speaker 8: You sure did listen. I'm going to battle. I'm going
- 30:09Speaker 8: to war right now. I can't be thinking about what
- 30:11Speaker 8: David Stern would be thinking.
- 30:14Speaker 4: And also Jason, I hate to tell.
- 30:16Speaker 1: You you're not at his level. Do you understand what
- 30:18Speaker 1: he's saying. He doesn't view you as a Nick fan.
- 30:20Speaker 1: He doesn't want to hear from you. I mean, he
- 30:22Speaker 1: likes you and he respects you, but he doesn't want
- 30:23Speaker 1: to hear from you during a Knicks game.
- 30:25Speaker 9: That's all.
- 30:25Speaker 5: That's fair.
- 30:26Speaker 4: That's fair.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Okay, okay, just so you know, same with me, that
- 30:29Speaker 1: same with mikey A. And really is he knows the
- 30:32Speaker 1: most basketball of all of us and he doesn't.
- 30:34Speaker 9: Want to hear from him. I'm not even certain if
- 30:37Speaker 9: Charles Oakley texted.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Him eat respond.
- 30:39Speaker 7: I mean, he's not on Taylor's level.
- 30:44Speaker 4: What is going on?
- 30:45Speaker 1: Nick fans are very sensitive right now and they'll look
- 30:48Speaker 1: for anyone to argue with. By the way, what do
- 30:50Speaker 1: you guys make of Colin Cowhort saying you open the
- 30:52Speaker 1: show that I saying the Knicks lovable team.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Gotta love this team.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I don't want to hear from him. I don't want
- 30:58Speaker 1: to hear from these people, Siri, who have made fun
- 31:01Speaker 1: of the Knicks and their fan base for a couple
- 31:03Speaker 1: of decades. Now and now because we have this lovable
- 31:07Speaker 1: team that is somehow scrappy underdogs on the verge of
- 31:10Speaker 1: winning an NBA championship. I don't want to hear how
- 31:13Speaker 1: lovable they are. You hated them for two decades, You
- 31:16Speaker 1: made fun of me and Nick fans for two decades.
- 31:19Speaker 1: You cannot jump on the bandwagon, not now. I am sorry.
- 31:23Speaker 7: Now.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Don't want to hear from Colin, and I certainly don't
- 31:26Speaker 1: want to hear from anyone else who wasn't a Nick
- 31:28Speaker 1: fan who made fun of Nick Vans for the last
- 31:30Speaker 1: two decades.
- 31:31Speaker 8: Go ahead, Taylor, Yeah, I have sound clips of Colin
- 31:34Speaker 8: Coward that will get for Monday, of him at the
- 31:37Speaker 8: start of the playoffs saying that Jalen Brunson isn't a
- 31:40Speaker 8: superstar that could take a team to a title, which
- 31:43Speaker 8: is kind of weird. We're three games away from said title.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Yes, well, in his defense, you closed your eyes once
- 31:48Speaker 1: and said you couldn't see Karl Anthony Towns winning a
- 31:51Speaker 1: championship with the Knicks to you right, because you're on
- 31:53Speaker 1: the level. Yes, you are the level a lot. What
- 31:57Speaker 1: has going quickly before the polls? What is going on
- 32:00Speaker 1: all with Nick fans at Elmo.
- 32:01Speaker 8: So Elmo tweeted out before Game one. Elmo hopes both
- 32:05Speaker 8: teams have fun and New Yorkers are enraged because Elmo
- 32:08Speaker 8: Sesame Street is in New York. Elmo, show some loyalty
- 32:12Speaker 8: to your city one time and just tweet out.
- 32:15Speaker 9: Let's go Nick, we're looking for anyone. If it's not Colin,
- 32:19Speaker 9: it's Almo.
- 32:23Speaker 10: Somebody's gonna throw Oscar that grouch through his front window
- 32:26Speaker 10: or something.
- 32:27Speaker 1: We are so sensitive, ads to God seven in the
- 32:30Speaker 1: odd Ax. Let's wrap up the week the way we
- 32:32Speaker 1: always do with the poll results.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Taylor, go ahead, take it away. I'll look at that.
- 32:36Speaker 4: I was saying with music Man.
- 32:39Speaker 8: Do the Rams lead the league in going all in?
- 32:42Speaker 7: Yes? I mean yes, I've got you discute it.
- 32:45Speaker 4: They're all in. I mean no, one's more all in
- 32:47Speaker 4: every year than the Ram.
- 32:49Speaker 8: Overwhelming ninety seven percent. What sounds better coach fire or
- 32:56Speaker 8: coach sacked?
- 32:57Speaker 1: Coach sack, No question about it. Yeah, it's a soccer
- 33:00Speaker 1: term right where they sacked the coach? Yes, I like
- 33:03Speaker 1: sack better. Mikey, you like sack better? Yeah, I think
- 33:06Speaker 1: it's an English term, not a soccer Termah okay, sorry,
- 33:10Speaker 1: same thing.
- 33:11Speaker 8: Seventy two percent of the audience said sacked sounds better.
- 33:14Speaker 5: All right.
- 33:16Speaker 8: Should the World Cup have to wait to start until
- 33:18Speaker 8: the next season is over?
- 33:20Speaker 4: Yep, it should. We've been waiting for this for a
- 33:22Speaker 4: long time.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I don't like this, no rest between games, shortened scheduled. Nope,
- 33:26Speaker 1: let's take our time and enjoy this. What are we
- 33:28Speaker 1: going to rush for to see? No goals go ahead?
- 33:31Speaker 8: Sixty four percent of the audience said yes, it should wait.
- 33:35Speaker 7: Good audience.
- 33:37Speaker 8: Statue of liberty. What a weird gift.
- 33:41Speaker 9: I forgot about that.
- 33:44Speaker 7: Michelle Beatley.
- 33:48Speaker 8: Seventy five percent of the audience said yes, yep. Final
- 33:52Speaker 8: poll this week was the Was that the greatest three
- 33:54Speaker 8: point game in NBA history? By Josh Harten.
- 33:57Speaker 5: It was yeah, no doubt, yes.
- 34:00Speaker 8: Sixty one percent of the audience said yes. Those are
- 34:03Speaker 8: the polls.
- 34:03Speaker 4: All right, those are the balls. Have a great weekend, everyone.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Go next.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gotson Company
- 34:10Speaker 2: Live weekdays at three pm Eastern twelve pm Pacific on
- 34:15Speaker 2: Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Let's get to the weekend observations. Iowa, Sam, give me
- 34:24Speaker 1: my song?
- 34:31Speaker 5: Well for sure he was going to play the Hotel
- 34:34Speaker 5: ob Day Byer.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Four years ago, she retired from her sport because only
- 34:47Speaker 1: her daughter wanted a little sister. She could have asked
- 34:52Speaker 1: for a bike, but nah, she asked for a little sister.
- 34:57Speaker 1: And Dan Bayern women's tennis has been a snoozefest ever
- 35:03Speaker 1: since she left soccer. Like some would say, no offense
- 35:07Speaker 1: to Cocoa or Osaka or any other major winner we
- 35:12Speaker 1: can't remember. But tennis needs her so just like that, Dan,
- 35:17Speaker 1: make no mistake about it. At forty four years old
- 35:22Speaker 1: and only starting off in doubles, but still Serena Williams
- 35:28Speaker 1: is back.
- 35:29Speaker 5: Yeah, she'll like Brown, how to do.
- 35:31Speaker 4: It at four doubles?
- 35:32Speaker 5: Huh yeah, at least to start really back? Yeah, like
- 35:35Speaker 5: halfway back.
- 35:37Speaker 4: You know she's back. Yeah, she's led by tennis segments.
- 35:44Speaker 7: She's Bath.
- 35:45Speaker 6: There's a match going on at the French Open right
- 35:48Speaker 6: now with the women's number one seed, and Serena led
- 35:51Speaker 6: my tennis segment in my offence.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Right, well of course, right, that's why tennis needs her
- 35:55Speaker 1: back or bat speaking up Bath obj to the giants
- 36:01Speaker 1: w one moment hall of fame so true.
- 36:05Speaker 4: The farther the.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Further we get away from it, the more we realize
- 36:08Speaker 3: that man is a one moment Hall of fame.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I think it's his Hall of fame, like it's his
- 36:12Speaker 1: like he's he's first, he's first ballot, and I think
- 36:15Speaker 1: OBJ has to allow everyone.
- 36:17Speaker 4: Else who's at a moment into that Hall of fame.
- 36:19Speaker 4: He votes by himself.
- 36:20Speaker 3: I say that still frame is definitely like in the
- 36:23Speaker 3: on the doors that open up as you go into
- 36:25Speaker 3: the one moment hall of fame.
- 36:26Speaker 5: Yes, Bill Buckner, Oh bad moment of shame.
- 36:30Speaker 8: Yeah, it's still one moment.
- 36:31Speaker 4: Yeah, but the one moment hall of shame is different.
- 36:33Speaker 5: Yeah, connect to it.
- 36:34Speaker 6: Yeah, the Giants signed, they may sign Lawrence Taylor to
- 36:37Speaker 6: distance themselves with this Jackson dark stuff.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Somebody should tell the Spurs that wasn't the finals.
- 36:47Speaker 5: It's so emotional. Jesus, that is not Larry O'Brien.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 1: The only person who hates Oklahoma City more than NBA
- 36:56Speaker 1: fans is Victor Webbin Yama. If you told Victor Webin
- 37:02Speaker 1: Yama he could win a title or beat Chet Holmgren,
- 37:06Speaker 1: he'd pick beating Chet every time.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I don't think anybody has hated a skinny person this
- 37:11Speaker 3: much in their lives.
- 37:13Speaker 4: He holds onto this stuff, man, and I love it.
- 37:16Speaker 1: He lost the one once like ten years ago in
- 37:18Speaker 1: an international game and he still hasn't gotten over it.
- 37:21Speaker 5: He has his teammates dunking on him and pushing him.
- 37:24Speaker 5: It's just hilarious.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Yep, chet Holm grin hit a weight room. You know
- 37:28Speaker 1: what the agent Holmegren stands for. It stands for hit
- 37:31Speaker 1: a weight room.
- 37:34Speaker 5: Just one.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Chet Holmgren is the Michael Jordan of Ben simmons Is.
- 37:43Speaker 4: It's a tough one. I got it out somehow.
- 37:45Speaker 5: Who doesn't want to shoot more Ben Simmons or Cheed Holmgren.
- 37:48Speaker 4: Yes, I'm really digging deep Tailor.
- 37:50Speaker 12: I have to.
- 37:50Speaker 4: You know, I've been hosting shows since ten am this morning.
- 37:53Speaker 5: Unbuttoned with Chris Sims.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Every night before he goes to bed, Chet Holmgren checks
- 37:59Speaker 1: under his bed for Victor Webbin Yama.
- 38:02Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure he'd be sticking out right.
- 38:07Speaker 9: So Chet's got a long bed though he does.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Yeah, he's got one of the special one Like if
- 38:11Speaker 1: Victor's gonna hide under a bed, it would be Chet's.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Yes, weird visual.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Anyway, if you told me Justin Champenny was the second
- 38:23Speaker 1: pick of his draft and Chet Holmgren went undrafted, I would.
- 38:29Speaker 5: Believe you absolutely true.
- 38:31Speaker 7: Man.
- 38:31Speaker 5: It is so.
- 38:31Speaker 3: I told people when they drafted Chet Holmgren, I don't
- 38:33Speaker 3: know where I follow him for this. That guy might
- 38:35Speaker 3: put on a show, maybe make an All Star team,
- 38:36Speaker 3: but man, he's not gonna be that good.
- 38:38Speaker 1: The Spurs beat the Thunder eight times this season. You
- 38:42Speaker 1: know what the Spurs had, Dan?
- 38:44Speaker 6: Their number?
- 38:45Speaker 7: There?
- 38:45Speaker 4: It is wow?
- 38:47Speaker 1: On fresh off vacation, they had O Casey's number.
- 38:51Speaker 4: What happened there?
- 38:52Speaker 1: Yes, if Spurs Thunder was hockey, Jalen Williams and Aj
- 38:58Speaker 1: Mitchell playing that game, they do.
- 39:01Speaker 4: They're not hockey players, is he?
- 39:02Speaker 10: Now?
- 39:02Speaker 5: You're right.
- 39:06Speaker 1: Luke Cornett having the biggest moment of the game blocking
- 39:10Speaker 1: Isaiah Hartenstein at the rim, White on White crime.
- 39:15Speaker 5: What a moment though, What a moment. There was somebody
- 39:18Speaker 5: from the Spurs bench that yelled.
- 39:20Speaker 9: Was that Lebron James?
- 39:22Speaker 5: It was an amazing moment?
- 39:23Speaker 8: White on halfwaye right?
- 39:25Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 39:26Speaker 4: Right, yes, you got something there, Dan?
- 39:28Speaker 5: No, okay?
- 39:30Speaker 4: Is that Luke Cornett going into the One Moment Hall
- 39:32Speaker 4: of Fame?
- 39:33Speaker 7: Yes?
- 39:34Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 39:34Speaker 3: He he did stop that night happening at the Atlanta
- 39:37Speaker 3: Hawks right, Magic City night?
- 39:38Speaker 5: So he has two moments?
- 39:39Speaker 4: Oh damn it. Sorry, I'm sorry, Taylor.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Luke Cornett, the rare player to stop both Magic City
- 39:44Speaker 1: Night and O Casey's dreams of repeating it's not your fault,
- 39:48Speaker 1: is he?
- 39:48Speaker 4: It's fine?
- 39:50Speaker 5: Poor game management, understandable.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Thunder blowing a three to two league with home court advantage.
- 39:58Speaker 1: Oklahoma more like Chokeklahoma. Oklahoma City the rare dynasty that lasted.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Just a season, but man, what a dynasty. People were
- 40:16Speaker 3: so scared by draft picks. I know now I'm scared
- 40:19Speaker 3: of Wenby. I mean, jeez, that guy doesn't.
- 40:22Speaker 4: Care about the Mecca. You don't care chet problem.
- 40:25Speaker 7: When you're the.
- 40:25Speaker 4: Best player in the planet, you don't care where you play.
- 40:28Speaker 4: It's unbelievable. Terrified of it.
- 40:31Speaker 1: When Oklahoma City loses, America wins. Darryl Moury once waived
- 40:40Speaker 1: Justin Champenny from the Sixers so Mac McClung could enter
- 40:45Speaker 1: the dunk contest, the.
- 40:47Speaker 4: M and Moury. Dan, you know what it stands for?
- 40:50Speaker 5: Moron?
- 40:51Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 40:51Speaker 6: Wow, Wow, Seriously, I had thirty six on Saturday.
- 40:58Speaker 4: I'm feeling it right now.
- 41:00Speaker 8: Golful vitalized Dan Byre.
- 41:03Speaker 4: Great job. You wouldn't even huh thirty six over eighteen holes?
- 41:11Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 41:11Speaker 4: No, I did thirty six holes. Wait thirty six you
- 41:13Speaker 4: were even after thirty six holes?
- 41:15Speaker 8: No?
- 41:16Speaker 9: You put the evening.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I listen, I'm tired, ten am, I've been hot and
- 41:20Speaker 1: shows Dan, I'm sorry about that. It's on me. It's
- 41:22Speaker 1: a bet. Listen, bad game manager? Right, the unbuttoned podcast?
- 41:27Speaker 5: Why what's that about? Even? Where was it?
- 41:34Speaker 1: If I'm Philadelphia, I would rehire Darryl Moury just to
- 41:38Speaker 1: fire him again.
- 41:41Speaker 5: Double second, put it on the pole tailor.
- 41:44Speaker 1: If you were Philadelphia, would you rehire Darryl Moury just
- 41:47Speaker 1: to fire him again?
- 41:49Speaker 5: I would, Well, you're at it's Sam Hinky, hire him.
- 41:51Speaker 4: Back the process.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Thunder Knicks would have been too much blue and orange?
- 42:00Speaker 5: Howzy he who looked that he just gave me My
- 42:04Speaker 5: mind had blown. My mind had blown that I had
- 42:07Speaker 5: not thought of that whatsoever. Talk about a lack of
- 42:10Speaker 5: a color, class man. I wish it would have happened. No, no, no, no,
- 42:17Speaker 5: saved it for colors everywhere.
- 42:19Speaker 1: When the Spurs beat the thunder I turned to Abby
- 42:22Speaker 1: and said, basketball has been saved. She said what, and
- 42:26Speaker 1: I said Wemby. He said basketball and she said what
- 42:30Speaker 1: and I said nevermund.
- 42:33Speaker 5: See it's a man, he's seven to four.
- 42:35Speaker 3: He's a monk part of the time that is now
- 42:38Speaker 3: owning all of basketball.
- 42:39Speaker 5: Do you understand now that.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Guy Cornett he checks his bed und your bed every
- 42:43Speaker 1: night before he goes to sleep.
- 42:45Speaker 9: Why he say basketball?
- 42:46Speaker 5: What homegrin?
- 42:47Speaker 8: But whatever, whatever, Cornett's on We's team.
- 42:50Speaker 7: Whatever.
- 42:51Speaker 4: I don't care. I mean, yes, un buttoned podcast.
- 42:54Speaker 7: Now he's hosting two shows.
- 42:56Speaker 4: I've got to be honest.
- 42:57Speaker 1: I got emotional just seeing a design of the LARRYO
- 42:59Speaker 1: Brought Ryan trophy on the court at Madison Square Garden.
- 43:03Speaker 4: That's a big I did. I got emotional. Now I
- 43:05Speaker 4: didn't write this. Taylor did.
- 43:07Speaker 1: He got emotional, But I will tell you and I
- 43:09Speaker 1: will back him up. When I saw it, I too
- 43:11Speaker 1: got emotional.
- 43:12Speaker 8: Is that it is the first time I've ever shed
- 43:14Speaker 8: a tear over a rendering.
- 43:17Speaker 5: Shed a tear just so we don't have to dump.
- 43:19Speaker 1: That spurs Nicks a nineteen ninety nine NBA Finals rematch
- 43:26Speaker 1: and more importantly a twenty twenty six NBA Cup rematch.
- 43:31Speaker 5: Huge, huge. I think Victor wimbin Yama has that like
- 43:35Speaker 5: yees motivation.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Yes, that's his chip, yes, chip on her shoulder.
- 43:41Speaker 9: Guys always got a chip. He's about to get a.
- 43:45Speaker 5: Chip, working on it. Yes, telling it like that. It's
- 43:50Speaker 5: just though. No, he's going to New York. Hef for cares.
- 43:53Speaker 1: Bad day for everybody who says the NBA Cup doesn't matter.
- 43:59Speaker 5: I would say that it's a trophy involved.
- 44:02Speaker 4: Taylor and I have never said it.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Tell me Taylor wrote this one. I'll tell him me, Taylor,
- 44:05Speaker 1: I never even thought it. I gotta be honest with you.
- 44:09Speaker 1: The Knicks should hang the NBA Cup banner before Game three.
- 44:15Speaker 5: We've changed our mind. We're hanging the banner. Oh my god.
- 44:20Speaker 5: That is such a good idea, is he?
- 44:22Speaker 8: I think the only way you could put that banner
- 44:25Speaker 8: up in good faith is if you win the title
- 44:27Speaker 8: the same year. Because it's like, oh, they have a
- 44:30Speaker 8: twenty twenty six banner Cup banner, but they also have
- 44:33Speaker 8: a twenty twenty six finals banner.
- 44:35Speaker 4: Where you need one.
- 44:36Speaker 8: Without the other.
- 44:37Speaker 5: You know what you get?
- 44:37Speaker 3: You get great attendance at a preseason game and you say, hey,
- 44:40Speaker 3: we're gonna raise our ist banner or an NBA Cup
- 44:43Speaker 3: banner for the first home preseason home game.
- 44:45Speaker 7: Right there you go?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Yes, Nicks Spurs one team led by a six to
- 44:51Speaker 1: two guard the other team led by a seven to
- 44:55Speaker 1: four alien, a modern day David versus Goliath Paris Saint Germaine.
- 45:05Speaker 1: I was asking win's the Champions League victor webin Yama
- 45:10Speaker 1: to the finals.
- 45:11Speaker 4: All the while the French Open is going on.
- 45:14Speaker 1: You know what France is having Dan quite a month,
- 45:18Speaker 1: A moment, yes, yes, one moment.
- 45:22Speaker 4: Hall of fame France, yes, Canadian.
- 45:26Speaker 7: Hall of fame for Dan Byer.
- 45:27Speaker 6: You're right, there were two, Sure, yeah, there were two.
- 45:31Speaker 7: You're right man.
- 45:33Speaker 5: In French it's an instant, but he shot a thirty six.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Even Canadian hockey teams better luck next.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Year or the year after that or the year after that.
- 45:45Speaker 3: It's gonna be a while. I don't think you guys
- 45:47Speaker 3: are going to get a cup any time soon.
- 45:48Speaker 4: Bad for Canada.
- 45:49Speaker 5: I don't know, you don't.
- 45:50Speaker 4: You're right, Caitlyn Clark overrated.
- 45:54Speaker 5: I mean, I'm saying said it.
- 45:57Speaker 4: Listen, I'm not. We love Caitlyn Bok.
- 45:59Speaker 3: Let's speak for your so she's a right. I don't
- 46:01Speaker 3: like the way she talked to her coach.
- 46:04Speaker 7: Is that it.
- 46:07Speaker 4: Skip Bayless.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Falling for a fake report that the Fever fired their coach,
- 46:15Speaker 1: only to then say, well, it's only a matter of
- 46:18Speaker 1: time until they do so, Skip Bayless, the Stugotts is
- 46:23Speaker 1: very very strong in.
- 46:24Speaker 5: You man will never be wrong.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Dan, You know what the yes and skip baalss stands
- 46:28Speaker 4: for what's that stud? It stands for Stucotts.
- 46:35Speaker 1: The San Francisco Giants, MLB's lowest scoring offense, scored a
- 46:40Speaker 1: season high nineteen runs.
- 46:42Speaker 4: You know what they call that, Dano? What's that baseball?
- 46:47Speaker 5: That's baseball? Did they win that game?
- 46:51Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 46:52Speaker 8: I'm assuming they want.
- 46:52Speaker 4: I mean, you can't lose a game when you score
- 46:54Speaker 4: nineteen runs, can you.
- 46:55Speaker 7: Well?
- 46:56Speaker 3: I was watching yesterday. I didn't see it wasn't on
- 46:58Speaker 3: TV at least I couldn't get it. But the Gators
- 47:00Speaker 3: against I think Ryder or Troy, Gators versus Troy and baseball.
- 47:03Speaker 3: And I did that thing where I just covered up
- 47:05Speaker 3: one of the team scores and only looked at my
- 47:07Speaker 3: team score. When I checked the final, I was like, wow,
- 47:09Speaker 3: eleven runs they must have won. Nope, Troy scored sixteen.
- 47:12Speaker 5: And that's baseball, and that's baseball.
- 47:16Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Texas deck quarterback Brendan Soarsby should hire a translator and
- 47:23Speaker 1: blame him for his gambling problem.
- 47:30Speaker 4: You know what the es and swordsby stands for?
- 47:33Speaker 7: Dan?
- 47:35Speaker 4: What it stands for? Show?
- 47:36Speaker 5: Hey, o Toddy, show me the way show.
- 47:40Speaker 7: Hey.
- 47:41Speaker 1: If you were not watching college softball, you're missing out.
- 47:46Speaker 1: We have this argument every time, like every year at
- 47:49Speaker 1: this time, right the college softball playoffs, the World Series.
- 47:53Speaker 4: It's the greatest thing going in sports. No one cares.
- 47:56Speaker 1: I mean, I gotta be honest. It might be exciting
- 47:57Speaker 1: I watch it, but then we forget about it. This
- 48:00Speaker 1: second Miles Garrett is traded.
- 48:01Speaker 4: I mean, that's it.
- 48:03Speaker 8: I cannot get enough of this Texas Tech team and
- 48:07Speaker 8: Miah Williams, Jason Williams's daughter, they are so electric.
- 48:12Speaker 5: Yeah, that's my guy. It will baby.
- 48:14Speaker 7: I know why chocolate.
- 48:17Speaker 1: College softball letting pitchers re enter a game electric whatcher?
- 48:23Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 48:24Speaker 7: You like that? Yeah?
- 48:25Speaker 5: No, why I don't like that?
- 48:27Speaker 4: It's just what I mean.
- 48:28Speaker 5: And the softball.
- 48:29Speaker 3: Baseball whicheveryone you want, it's always been Hey, one time
- 48:32Speaker 3: for the picture.
- 48:32Speaker 1: That's it, right, But imagine you take like Cam Schlitzler out, Okay,
- 48:35Speaker 1: you take him out in the six, he gets a
- 48:37Speaker 1: couple of innings, rest, and then.
- 48:38Speaker 4: You want to bring him back in the night. That
- 48:39Speaker 4: would be electric. It would be I'm with Taylor on that.
- 48:43Speaker 8: So the UCLA Texas Tech game went nine innings yesterday.
- 48:46Speaker 8: I don't know if I just got got by the graphic.
- 48:49Speaker 8: The UCLA pitcher pitched the entire game. She threw like
- 48:51Speaker 8: two hundred pitches, and then Texas Tech made like five
- 48:55Speaker 8: or six pitching changes and they only had two pitchers.
- 48:58Speaker 8: They just kept going back and forth between the two girls.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not that unnatural emotions. Emotion as it is, right,
- 49:04Speaker 3: you know, overhand throwing, so you can get away with
- 49:06Speaker 3: long outings.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Headline Liverpool sack, Arnie slought his head coach. You know
- 49:13Speaker 1: what the essence slot stands for, Dan, what's that sacked?
- 49:18Speaker 5: It's lilmore enthusiasm, Dan.
- 49:20Speaker 4: No, he's annoyed. He's annoyed now because he was two
- 49:22Speaker 4: for two and now.
- 49:23Speaker 5: He's opened the rooms, played thirty six.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Even saying you sacked your coach sounds so much better
- 49:31Speaker 1: than saying.
- 49:32Speaker 4: You fired your coach. Ah put it on the ball tailor.
- 49:35Speaker 3: Yeah, kind of sounds like you slept with your coach.
- 49:37Speaker 3: I sacked my coach. I like sacking the coach.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I do I did think I have US men's national
- 49:45Speaker 1: team do it at the World Cup.
- 49:48Speaker 4: When's that thing start? Seriously, when's the start?
- 49:51Speaker 5: In two weeks?
- 49:53Speaker 8: Right?
- 49:53Speaker 7: Can't wait?
- 49:54Speaker 8: They should pause it until the next are out.
- 49:56Speaker 4: How long is it? By the way, the World Cup?
- 49:59Speaker 4: Good month, the plants on vacation at least a month?
- 50:03Speaker 4: All right, four weeks off. To anybody getting their hopes
- 50:07Speaker 4: up about the US men's.
- 50:08Speaker 1: National team, do me a favor and do yourself a favor.
- 50:14Speaker 4: Stop hang on, I care about you.
- 50:17Speaker 5: Taylor thought they're electric.
- 50:20Speaker 8: They are so good going forward. It is shocking how
- 50:24Speaker 8: good they are going forwards.
- 50:25Speaker 5: When they have to back up and defend that, it's
- 50:26Speaker 5: a problem and.
- 50:27Speaker 4: They park the bus. That's the question.
- 50:29Speaker 8: They are terrible in defense. And we still don't know
- 50:32Speaker 8: who the goalie is. But right now it looks like
- 50:36Speaker 8: every score is going to be like a five to
- 50:37Speaker 8: four score line.
- 50:38Speaker 4: I'll believe it when I see no chance. It's five four.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Jesus electric four, like a year's worth of goals.
- 50:50Speaker 4: Believing in this US soccer team. What the hell are
- 50:54Speaker 4: you think?
- 50:55Speaker 1: Speaking to hell or Briles, Dan Buyer, those are the
