- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. A few days ago, we were talking about
- 0:07the subpoenas that were administered by the Truth Commission in
- 0:12New Mexico. Well, one of those subpoenas has to do
- 0:16with the South Carolina story that we've talked about with
- 0:20the allegations against Donald Trump. Now, what are they going
- 0:24to find? I have no idea, but whenever somebody makes
- 0:27statements like this to the FBI under oath, I feel
- 0:31like it has to be taken seriously and it has
- 0:33to be looked at. Now does that mean after the
- 0:35investigation that everything comes back that it's true. No, but
- 0:40we don't know what's true and what's not because they
- 0:42refuse to really investigate. Now I hope that's changing here
- 0:45with New Mexico and that they're going to do the
- 0:47right thing and you know, really go deep and chase
- 0:50it wherever it goes. And I think that the Commission
- 0:53has the same problem that anybody has that's investigating this,
- 0:57and that of course is the gigantic lack of trust
- 1:00that the people you and I have in institutions. So
- 1:05is this Truth Commission gonna put that to rights? Are
- 1:08they going to change our minds. Well, they're saying the
- 1:11right things. The question, like usual, is if they're going
- 1:14to follow through. Today we have an article from the
- 1:18Posting Courier and the headline new Mexico Epstein investigation targets
- 1:23records from South Carolina and two other states. This article
- 1:27was authored by Glenn Smith. New Mexico officials have raised
- 1:31the possibility of more Jeffrey Epstein related intrigue in South
- 1:35Carolina after hitting federal prosecutors here with a subpoena and
- 1:40in two other states about investigations into the late financier
- 1:44and sex offender. Now, look these subpoenas, I'm pretty interested
- 1:49to see what they return, especially in places like Michigan
- 1:54and South Carolina, because those places, they haven't been part
- 1:59of the main conversation. They're not places we've been talking about,
- 2:03you know, since twenty nineteen. I mean a little bit
- 2:07about Michigan, you know, Interlogan and the rest of it.
- 2:10But besides that, not too much going on up there.
- 2:15But now that New Mexico is trying to get subpoenas
- 2:18for these locations, it opens up the door, right, what
- 2:22was happening? What would lead the truth Commission to want
- 2:26to kick in this door. And I think that's a very,
- 2:29very very interesting question. New Mexico's Truth Commission on Epstein
- 2:34wants to know why US attorney's offices in South Carolina, Florida, Michigan,
- 2:39and the US Virgin Islands chose not to press charges
- 2:42against them after investigations. Well, we all know why. Do
- 2:47you think main Justice would be receptive to that? And
- 2:50make no mistake, it's up to the Justice Department who
- 2:53they're going to indict, who they're going to investigate, and
- 2:58who they're going to let And I think through their actions,
- 3:02the DJ has been very very clear about who's going
- 3:06to be in trouble here and who's not. And the
- 3:08answer is nobody's going to be in trouble. Well, if
- 3:13the DJ has their way, we have information that there
- 3:17were investigations in each of these spaces into the activities
- 3:21of Jeffrey Epstein. New Mexico Rep. Andrea Romero, a Democrat
- 3:25and chair of the Investigative Committee TOTLL reporters on a
- 3:28June eighteenth video call, and look good, if there's information there,
- 3:33let's get it. Let's see what it says. Because unlike
- 3:36a lot of people out here. All I've ever really
- 3:39wanted is a real investigation. I don't have an extra
- 3:42grind against any of these politicians. Against any of these people,
- 3:46they don't occupy space in my brain unless we're talking
- 3:49about this story. So it's not like I'm on some
- 3:51personal crusade here. But at the same time, I'm not
- 3:54going to ignore obvious corruption and I don't give a
- 3:56shit who's in charge of that corruption. And believe me,
- 4:00I know that it would be way more profitable for
- 4:01me to pick a side, but I'm not going to
- 4:04do that. I'm not going to sit here and tell
- 4:06you that one side's better than the other. They have
- 4:11both failed us for decades. And while this is a
- 4:15step in the right direction, I have my doubts, especially
- 4:20when it comes to this story right now during a
- 4:22political election season, and after this election, is there still
- 4:27going to be this desire or are these people that
- 4:29are talking about it all the time going to just
- 4:32move on to the next shiny thing. And unfortunately, history
- 4:36has told us they're not going to have the willpower
- 4:39and the political capital to stick it out. The US
- 4:43Attorney's Office in South Carolina referred questions from the Post
- 4:46and courier to the US Justice Department. Officials there did
- 4:50not immediately offer a reply, of course not. They're above it.
- 4:54They're above the Fray main Justice. They can do whatever
- 4:58they want, even if that means given somebody like Jeffrey
- 5:01Epstein a non prosecution agreement. The commission, comprised of New
- 5:07Mexico legislators, has sought records from law enforcement agencies, financial institutions,
- 5:12and other entities. It's issued about twenty three subpoenas to date.
- 5:16Ahead of a planned interim report in July, reuter Is
- 5:20reported its investigation has extended well beyond the borders of
- 5:24its home state, which is home to Epstein's infamous or
- 5:27A ranch where alleged sex abuse occurred, not alleged that
- 5:31should happened. Okay, we're not talking about if here. We're
- 5:35talking about how vast it was, just how much of
- 5:39it was happening, not if it was happening. Exactly what
- 5:45records the panel seeking in South Carolina remains unclear. The
- 5:49Commission has not made public copies of the subpoenas, and
- 5:52messages sent to its chair and staff were not immediately
- 5:56returned on June nineteenth, So again, I don't know what
- 6:00those subpoenas are looking for or what they hope to
- 6:03find in a place like South Carolina. Now, obviously it
- 6:06has to do with this Trump stuff, but after that,
- 6:11I have no clue. I mean, we really didn't hear
- 6:13much about Epstein down in South Carolina, and I'm not
- 6:17going to sit here and make pretend we did. So
- 6:20that's one place I really don't have any idea about. Now.
- 6:23With Michigan, like I was saying before with Interlogan, I
- 6:26think that that's a very very good idea because we
- 6:30need to know more about what happened up there, who
- 6:32is responsible for bringing Jeffrey Epstein on board all of it,
- 6:36and of course if anybody else was abused due to
- 6:40their participation at those camps. But the US Justice Department's
- 6:46release of the voluminous records from the so called Epstein
- 6:50Files has revealed several alleged connections the accused sex trafficker
- 6:55had to the Palmetto State. Now, I don't know why
- 6:58they call it the alleged file. That's what they are, right,
- 7:02files that are related to Jeffrey Epstein in his crimes.
- 7:05What else should we call them? Front and center where
- 7:11a woman's claims to the FBI agentsa Epstein's actually abused
- 7:14her when she was a teen living on hilton Head Island.
- 7:18She later told federal investigators that Donald Trump assaulted her
- 7:22long before he became president, sometime around nineteen eighty four
- 7:26in the Northeast. And look, we've been through this and
- 7:30I don't know the truth. Diddy Didney, We don't know.
- 7:34And I think that's a big part of the problem
- 7:37that the FBI and the DOJ refused to release the
- 7:40other documents that are related to this. And I would
- 7:44think that if Donald Trump has nothing to worry about,
- 7:46nothing to hide, then this would be beneficial to him.
- 7:50Oh look, another crazy person. Here's the evidence proving that
- 7:53it didn't happen. But we don't see that, right, Just
- 7:58like with the whole nonsense about the forgery. If that
- 8:01birthday card was a forgery, don't you think there could
- 8:04be an investigation? Go and pass the fake dollar bill
- 8:07and watch how quick Secret Service shows up. But somebody's
- 8:09trying to frame a sitting president and there's no investigation
- 8:12to speak of. The Post In Courier was first to
- 8:17report the woman's initial contact and interview with the FBI
- 8:21in July of twenty nineteen. She alleged that when she
- 8:24was thirteen, Epstein hired her to babysit while he was
- 8:27staying at the Sea Pines resort on Hilton Head. Her mother,
- 8:31a realtor, offered up her services to rental clients and owners. Now, look,
- 8:36I don't dispute that. I don't why would we not
- 8:38believe that what Epstein didn't go to Hilton Head. I'm
- 8:42sure he did. The question is how much of the
- 8:46story's true. The alleged victim said she arrived at the
- 8:51condo and discovered there were no children. Epstein gave her
- 8:54drugs and alcohol, and then sexually assaulted her. She told
- 8:58the FBI, boy, sure sounds like those grooming gangs over
- 9:01in the UK. Huh. Her account included sorted details of
- 9:06other encounters with him during his time on the islands.
- 9:10She and her attorney acknowledged that she had told other
- 9:13girls about Epstein and hopes a recruiting fresh meat as
- 9:16Epstein had called it, and all of that tracks. So
- 9:20it really comes down to you asking yourself, is she
- 9:23reliable as a witness? Is she telling the truth? And
- 9:27I think that the only conclusion to come to is
- 9:30we need more information. I don't know how anyone can
- 9:33look at what's been provided and decide one way or
- 9:36the other. We need more information, and the big problem
- 9:40right now is that the FBI and Donald Trump's DOJ
- 9:43refused to give us that information. And what are we
- 9:46supposed to make of that. That's not looking good for them,
- 9:50right The optics aren't good. You have these wild accusations,
- 9:54you have these damning accusations, but at the same time,
- 9:58there's no real investigation into what's going on, into if
- 10:02this is real or not. And this is why we
- 10:04need special counsel. We're just spinning our wills a neutral
- 10:08And if you think the DOJ is going to investigate itself,
- 10:11if you think the DOJ is going to do the
- 10:13right thing under this administration, you have not been paying attention.
- 10:21The White House Press Secretary has insisted there was zero
- 10:24credible evidence behind the claims. The Epstein files also contained
- 10:28records about a former South Carolina teen who came from
- 10:31an abusive family and became involved with Epstein a few
- 10:34years after moving to Florida when she was fifteen or sixteen.
- 10:38She recounted being recruited to give Epstein massages in exchange
- 10:41for money, earning two hundred dollars for her services. Later,
- 10:45she and other victims sought restitution from Epstein's six hundred
- 10:50million dollar estate for the sexual abuses that they endured.
- 10:54And the craziest part is that the USVII got more
- 10:57money than all of the women put together. Chew on
- 11:01that shit for a minute. Other documents describe how a
- 11:05US Customs and Border Protection agent stationed in Charleston reportedly
- 11:09befriended Epstein while previously posted in Saint Thomas, part of
- 11:13the US Virgin Islands, near an island owned by the financier.
- 11:17Epstein had a lot of people in his pocket. And
- 11:20if you're one of these customs agents or somebody on
- 11:22the front line and Epstein shows up offering you a
- 11:26bunch of dough, a lot of people are gonna take it.
- 11:29I don't think people understand how much corruption there is.
- 11:33These bureaucrats are not squeaky clean people. CBP officials became
- 11:39concerned about Agent Timothy Rouch in twenty nineteen, worrying that
- 11:43the veteran inspector in the North Charleston office had grown
- 11:46too close with Epstein while stationed at the Saint Thomas Airport.
- 11:50Federal airport officials on the island, which is a US territory,
- 11:55had frequent contact with Epstein as he ferried passengers and
- 11:58packages to Little Sat James, his private Caribbean luxury island
- 12:02at the center of his sexual crimes. Was it really though,
- 12:06I mean, I know that's where the focus was, But
- 12:09I think that the most dastardly acts, the worst of
- 12:12the worst crimes, I think they happened in New Mexico.
- 12:17One document from a twenty nineteen meeting indicated Rouch had
- 12:20acknowledged going to Epstein's house, being on his boat, and
- 12:23flying in his helicopter for well watching. Jeffrey Epstein was
- 12:28just a loan predator. He had no contacts, no power,
- 12:31and he certainly wasn't somebody that was connected to the
- 12:34government in any way. Meanwhile, back here in reality, the
- 12:40FBI opened a preliminary probe into Rouch. According to an
- 12:43email released by the Justice Department, federal investigators dug into
- 12:48Rauch's background, interviewing Epstein's pilot about the CBP agent's relationship
- 12:53with the convicted felon, and even subpoenaing Rouch's credit report.
- 12:58According to documents, What does that mean? Why are you
- 13:01looking for his credit report? How about his bank statement?
- 13:06Nothing apparently came of the inquiry, and Rouch told the
- 13:08Post in Caurier in February that he never had a
- 13:11close relationship with Epstein. That whole thing is lies everything
- 13:15said in there about me. I don't know Epstein. I
- 13:17don't have any relationship with him, Rooch said at the time. Yeah. Yeah,
- 13:21they just decided to investigate you for no reason. Dude,
- 13:24That's what happened. Let's throw darts at a dark board
- 13:28and we'll just pick a name. Epstein was found dead
- 13:33in a New York prison cell in twenty nineteen. His
- 13:35death ruled a suicide. He was being held in custody
- 13:38after the US Attorney's Office through the Southern District of
- 13:41New York, charged them with sex trafficking of minors. And
- 13:45I think it's going to be really interesting to see
- 13:47where New Mexico goes with this truth commission, because there's
- 13:51a lot of avenues to explore, and I think that
- 13:54one of the places that has the least amount of
- 13:57information about it that's publicly known is certainly a Zoro ranch.
- 14:02So like usual, we're going to keep on keeping on
- 14:05and when we have some more information to share about
- 14:07the Truth Commission and their investigation, we'll get it added
- 14:11to the catalog. All the information that goes with this
- 14:14episode can be found in the description box.
