- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Hands to Hester, and Hester, yep, got it, five out
- 0:07Speaker 2: of five.
- 0:07Speaker 1: From carrying each other to a natty to carrying each
- 0:11Speaker 1: other on the air.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Flynn is back to throw for the end zone foul.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Live from the Raising Cane Studio, it's Off the Bench.
- 0:20Speaker 4: I just did it. All right, welcome back in OTV.
- 1:13Speaker 5: Hour number three. You're live from the Raising Cane Studio. Oh, well.
- 1:22Speaker 6: Yeah, that was abrupt. Sorry.
- 1:25Speaker 5: All right, wait. Did you have a game last night?
- 1:29Speaker 4: Yes, we did.
- 1:29Speaker 5: How'd it go?
- 1:30Speaker 4: A lot of good tries. A lot of good tries.
- 1:33Speaker 4: A lot of good tries.
- 1:34Speaker 5: I told you, man.
- 1:35Speaker 7: Like Live Oak in middle school football, like that age,
- 1:39Speaker 7: I don't, look, I don't know what happens, but they've
- 1:42Speaker 7: been like that.
- 1:43Speaker 4: For like decades. It was like that, dude, it was
- 1:45Speaker 4: like that when I was in school. Junior high.
- 1:48Speaker 8: And it was, man, the boys tried really hard. It's
- 1:51Speaker 8: fifth and sixth grade. Fifth and sixth grade.
- 1:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Tackle football.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:55Speaker 8: I think the, I think, linebacker for live oak i
- 1:57Speaker 8: think he had to leave early to go to driver
- 1:59Speaker 8: ed driver's.
- 1:59Speaker 7: Test so they're so big they're always god they were
- 2:03Speaker 7: they were.
- 2:04Speaker 8: Good man they were big and it was it was
- 2:06Speaker 8: fun man the uh uh it's so fun watching football
- 2:09Speaker 8: at that age because they are just because there's like
- 2:12Speaker 8: all different levels right there's like one or two kids
- 2:15Speaker 8: that have got it figured out yeah like fly downhill
- 2:18Speaker 8: on defense avoid a block make a tackle but then
- 2:21Speaker 8: the rest of them are like Playing linebacker, still trying
- 2:24Speaker 8: to see where the ball is. Like, they're running this way,
- 2:27Speaker 8: the ball's going that way. They're like, oh, God, where
- 2:29Speaker 8: is it?
- 2:29Speaker 4: It's fun.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Yeah, their helmets are too big. They look like bobbleheads
- 2:32Speaker 5: out there.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 2:34Speaker 5: And their heads are shaking a little bit.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Is this at the high school field that y'all played?
- 2:38Speaker 8: I'm assuming so. It was actually at– They've got a
- 2:40Speaker 8: nice middle school field, too. It was actually at Liver
- 2:42Speaker 8: Junior High.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 4: It was a turf field. I was like, is this
- 2:45Speaker 4: just– it's got to be the high school, too. Yeah,
- 2:47Speaker 4: that's the high school.
- 2:48Speaker 5: They have a nice middle school stadium, too, though.
- 2:50Speaker 3: So see, when I was growing up, when I was
- 2:52Speaker 3: growing up, they didn't have a, so that's the old
- 2:54Speaker 3: high school.
- 2:55Speaker 4: The middle school now is the old high school.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Okay.
- 2:57Speaker 3: They opened Lavroke High when I was in like, like
- 3:00Speaker 3: the new one now, I was like a senior in
- 3:02Speaker 3: high school.
- 3:02Speaker 4: It's only like 12 years old. Doesn't it look like
- 3:05Speaker 4: a prison?
- 3:07Speaker 3: I kind of think that new school looks like a prison.
- 3:09Speaker 4: They had a, oh wow, the new school. I don't know.
- 3:11Speaker 4: I don't know the new school. You were at it yesterday.
- 3:13Speaker 5: It was like you're trying to take a shot.
- 3:14Speaker 4: That was the junior high.
- 3:15Speaker 5: I thought it was the junior high.
- 3:17Speaker 4: I was at the junior high yesterday.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Did the junior high get turned? Either way.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Junior high is turf. At the junior high school. Yeah.
- 3:26Speaker 4: So it had turf.
- 3:27Speaker 8: And I was like, this has to be where the
- 3:28Speaker 8: high school plays because what junior high has a turf
- 3:30Speaker 8: field that's this nice?
- 3:34Speaker 7: First time I went to a game there with Jackson,
- 3:36Speaker 7: they had somebody like in the short distance in the background.
- 3:41Speaker 7: They were riding their horses up and down. They just
- 3:44Speaker 7: had their horses out. They're just riding them up and down.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Oh, that's cool.
- 3:47Speaker 7: All right.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Here we go now.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I like it.
- 3:50Speaker 5: I was like, where are we?
- 3:51Speaker 8: So I was driving yesterday, and I actually don't think,
- 3:54Speaker 8: I can't remember at least, actually driving in that little
- 3:57Speaker 8: old school, like downtown Denham Springs.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah. A little antique mall.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Yeah, it was lovely.
- 4:04Speaker 7: We got a high school game tonight, U High versus
- 4:07Speaker 7: Madison Prep.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Madison Prefatoire.
- 4:09Speaker 5: It's going to be at Memorial. So remember, if you're
- 4:12Speaker 5: going to the game, bring your chair backs. Where is
- 4:15Speaker 5: it at?
- 4:15Speaker 1: Memorial.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Memorial.
- 4:17Speaker 5: There's only, like, concrete steps.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Do you have a chair back?
- 4:19Speaker 1: No.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I kind of want to get one. I kind of
- 4:21Speaker 4: want to go up there.
- 4:22Speaker 8: There's some dads on our team now that are starting
- 4:24Speaker 8: to get some of these chair backs, and I'm like, okay,
- 4:26Speaker 8: they got a little armrest to pop up, a little
- 4:28Speaker 8: cup holder.
- 4:29Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 4:29Speaker 5: We don't have it.
- 4:30Speaker 4: It kind of looks like a prison. Okay, this is not. No,
- 4:33Speaker 4: that's the new high school. Look at that. Okay, so
- 4:35Speaker 4: that's the new. That's the new one. Okay, that is
- 4:37Speaker 4: not where we're playing.
- 4:38Speaker 7: So I'm telling you, yeah, they have their own middle
- 4:40Speaker 7: school stadium. I didn't know they turfed it, though. It
- 4:42Speaker 7: used to be grass when we played there. It looks
- 4:43Speaker 7: just like that field. I mean, the same end zones, everything. Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 5: King had money.
- 4:48Speaker 4: That does look like a prison.
- 4:49Speaker 3: It's a little prison barge, right? Like, they spent a
- 4:50Speaker 3: lot of money on it. I'm like, could have added
- 4:52Speaker 3: a little color.
- 4:53Speaker 7: Look, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm going
- 4:55Speaker 7: to be honest with you. How did you find that
- 4:57Speaker 7: that quick?
- 4:58Speaker 4: I Googled Lavacai School and went to images.
- 5:01Speaker 7: Go to Evangel Christian Academy, and I'm going to show
- 5:03Speaker 7: you why that's still impressive to me.
- 5:05Speaker 8: I'll tell you what. Denham Springs Elementary School looked like,
- 5:12Speaker 8: looked incredible. It looked like what I would think of
- 5:14Speaker 8: Madison Prep.
- 5:16Speaker 4: That's the two-story one. Yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 7: We are very much in the Baton Rouge bubble, you
- 5:21Speaker 7: and I.
- 5:22Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 5:22Speaker 7: Like, we're not from the area, so we don't go
- 5:25Speaker 7: to these places. Like, I'll venture off to go watch
- 5:28Speaker 7: one of our boys.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Me too.
- 5:29Speaker 7: And we'll go to Denham Springs, and we'll play Live Oak,
- 5:32Speaker 7: and we'll play Central, and all these places.
- 5:34Speaker 5: I'm like, look at here. Uniforms and everything.
- 5:37Speaker 4: I'll tell you what. I live out here. Me too.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Are you serious?
- 5:41Speaker 5: It's really nice, too.
- 5:42Speaker 4: They got targets here.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I know.
- 5:43Speaker 5: They got nice stuff.
- 5:45Speaker 4: They got everything.
- 5:47Speaker 5: So I find myself in the same conversation.
- 5:49Speaker 8: We were driving out yesterday, and Waze had me going different,
- 5:52Speaker 8: because it was traffic. It was terrible yesterday, all over.
- 5:54Speaker 8: But going to a 6 o'clock game in Livo, you've
- 5:58Speaker 8: got to be there at 5.15.
- 5:58Speaker 5: Oh, God, yeah.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Good luck.
- 6:00Speaker 8: So Waze had me going all over the place, like
- 6:02Speaker 8: roads that I don't think anyone's ever driven on before.
- 6:05Speaker 5: I know exactly the road that you're talking about.
- 6:08Speaker 8: And I was driving around, and I was like, Lacey,
- 6:10Speaker 8: this is some beautiful property. Look at those oak trees
- 6:13Speaker 8: over there. They've got some really nice things out here.
- 6:16Speaker 4: I enjoyed it.
- 6:17Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, baby.
- 6:19Speaker 7: That was the nicest building we had, Matt. He didn't
- 6:22Speaker 7: do the Google Earth one, because if he would have
- 6:23Speaker 7: done the Google Earth, you would have seen behind this building,
- 6:26Speaker 7: T building, T building, T building. Now, once he showed
- 6:30Speaker 7: the football stadium, though, that's nice. I can see these
- 6:33Speaker 7: stadium lights. That might be baseball.
- 6:35Speaker 5: That's baseball behind there, football the other direction.
- 6:39Speaker 8: Maybe once they take these light bulbs down, we can
- 6:41Speaker 8: get one or two of those for the studio.
- 6:42Speaker 4: And that.
- 6:47Speaker 7: And that looks the exact same as it did back
- 6:50Speaker 7: in 2004 when I graduated.
- 6:52Speaker 4: Brock Berlin was taking 10-yard shotgun snaps?
- 6:55Speaker 5: That was 1999.
- 6:56Speaker 4: Yeah, it was. I know.
- 6:57Speaker 5: I watched.
- 6:58Speaker 8: It was the most beautiful sight these eyes had ever
- 7:00Speaker 8: seen at that point.
- 7:02Speaker 5: Dad, Dad, they can throw the ball that far?
- 7:04Speaker 4: My young quarterback eyes, I was seventh, eighth grade.
- 7:08Speaker 5: Look at that, baby.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Going to Tyler Rose Stadium.
- 7:11Speaker 5: That's a football stadium.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Nah, it's not as good as Tyler Rose Stadium.
- 7:15Speaker 5: Maybe not. I don't know. Y'all got a couple more
- 7:16Speaker 5: dollars than we got.
- 7:17Speaker 4: I mean, it was cool. It was built. It was
- 7:20Speaker 4: like in a bowl.
- 7:21Speaker 5: When I say we, I haven't been back there since 2004.
- 7:23Speaker 7: Wait a minute.
- 7:30Speaker 4: 22 years.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Phil looks nice, though. Shout out to Pop Houston. Can't
- 7:36Speaker 5: wait until he becomes an LSU Tiger.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Hey, shout out to Ronnie giving you 30 more years. Congrats.
- 7:43Speaker 5: He did.
- 7:44Speaker 4: He did.
- 7:44Speaker 5: He gave me 30 more. I'm like, okay.
- 7:47Speaker 4: All right.
- 7:48Speaker 7: I didn't know that I had 30 more, but I'll
- 7:49Speaker 7: take them. I'll take those 30 more.
- 7:51Speaker 4: He's never won.
- 7:54Speaker 7: Yeah, he really made it sound like, you'll get in
- 7:56Speaker 7: when you're 72.
- 7:57Speaker 5: Mm-hmm. Thanks, Ronnie.
- 8:00Speaker 4: One of those post-mortem guys.
- 8:02Speaker 5: I'll have Katie will me up there.
- 8:03Speaker 7: I'll be eating my dinner out of a smoothie straw.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Begging her to smother me with a pillow. But we'll
- 8:14Speaker 5: be there.
- 8:17Speaker 4: We'll be there. You're going to brick outside with your
- 8:21Speaker 4: name on it.
- 8:22Speaker 5: Do you have one outside of Mike's cage?
- 8:25Speaker 2: No.
- 8:25Speaker 5: I want to say my mom got one.
- 8:26Speaker 4: I think Lacey, Mike. Because I think they might have donated.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I think my mom got one.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:31Speaker 4: It's fun. That was a nice little deal.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:33Speaker 7: And now I don't know where it's at in front
- 8:35Speaker 7: of Mike's cage. But I did see somebody. I was
- 8:38Speaker 7: over there for something. I think I was actually dropping
- 8:40Speaker 7: off a poncho order to my equipment guys. And I
- 8:44Speaker 7: saw somebody, they were like filming a video and they
- 8:46Speaker 7: had like little tape around the brick and they were
- 8:49Speaker 7: like cleaning it and like pouring baking soda on it
- 8:51Speaker 7: and like had a toothbrush and they were cleaning their
- 8:54Speaker 7: brick off.
- 8:55Speaker 4: Okay.
- 8:57Speaker 5: That is a level of dedication I'm not ready to give.
- 8:59Speaker 5: I think you should do that for Lacey's brick.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I should. I should.
- 9:06Speaker 7: I should get the kids to do it. It's called
- 9:09Speaker 7: child labor. How are the kids doing in the renovation,
- 9:15Speaker 7: by the way?
- 9:17Speaker 4: Really good.
- 9:17Speaker 8: We're very fortunate to have our little space up there.
- 9:20Speaker 5: The day that we were there, they were sliding down
- 9:23Speaker 5: the slide.
- 9:23Speaker 8: Yeah, the little second story is like it's been perfect.
- 9:26Speaker 8: It's like a little apartment complex up there.
- 9:30Speaker 4: It's nice. Yeah, we're very fortunate to have that, and
- 9:33Speaker 4: we've made do.
- 9:35Speaker 8: And that big piece of furniture y'all moved in at
- 9:38Speaker 8: the end that we didn't think was going to get
- 9:39Speaker 8: up there, make the turn, and very heavy. I think
- 9:41Speaker 8: I got some– good managing that situation from a distance.
- 9:46Speaker 7: I have never seen somebody with their hand on their
- 9:49Speaker 7: hip be so good at their job.
- 9:51Speaker 5: No doubt.
- 9:52Speaker 4: Obviously. I moved a couple of bins. That piece of
- 9:55Speaker 4: furniture has been just crucial.
- 9:58Speaker 5: I'm glad the hard work paid off.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Absolutely. The sweat. Yeah, the kid's been doing great, man.
- 10:02Speaker 4: It's been actually very nice. Because you're in it for
- 10:06Speaker 4: the long haul. Yeah, eight to 12 months, which means 14.
- 10:10Speaker 5: I didn't want to be the guy to say it.
- 10:14Speaker 7: Anybody that has ever built a building for business knows
- 10:17Speaker 7: if they tell you eight months, 14.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Let's see.
- 10:20Speaker 7: A couple things in the chat. Hester, that's why your
- 10:22Speaker 7: number isn't retired. You've never been back. Probably true. Although, although, although,
- 10:29Speaker 7: if it's still this way, I don't know that it's factual.
- 10:33Speaker 7: Josh Booty was the only guy to ever have his
- 10:35Speaker 7: number retired at Evangel. He wore 10. His brother, John
- 10:38Speaker 7: David Booty, wore it because it was his brother. I
- 10:41Speaker 7: don't even think Brock Berlin's 7 is retired.
- 10:43Speaker 4: How is that not?
- 10:44Speaker 5: That's crazy.
- 10:45Speaker 4: Did Josh have a better career than Brock?
- 10:48Speaker 7: Josh had a lot of national records because we were
- 10:52Speaker 7: one of the first schools to ever throw the football.
- 10:55Speaker 7: But I think Brock broke most of them. And then
- 10:58Speaker 7: Brock was the USA Today Player of the Year in
- 11:02Speaker 7: the country. The mayor came to Evangel and had Brock
- 11:05Speaker 7: Berlin Day right in Shreveport. So he got the key
- 11:10Speaker 7: to the city, the whole deal. So yeah, Brock Berlin 7.
- 11:13Speaker 4: I could run into Joe Montana, Dan Marino. Tom Cruise.
- 11:18Speaker 4: It'd be like whatever. Yeah. But Brock Berlin?
- 11:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I'd be a little starstruck.
- 11:23Speaker 9: I know.
- 11:23Speaker 7: I know Brock was the man. So his number's not retired.
- 11:28Speaker 7: Mine's not retired. Technically, I guess John David's isn't retired.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Pop?
- 11:35Speaker 5: What's Pop wear?
- 11:36Speaker 4: One?
- 11:37Speaker 5: Yeah, Pop Houston might get his retired. I don't know.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Let's do it. I feel like there's somebody. Trent Taylor's
- 11:43Speaker 7: not retired. He just hung him up. He played eight
- 11:45Speaker 7: years in the NFL, so.
- 11:47Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Yeah, but probably Berlin 7. What are we doing?
- 11:51Speaker 4: Yeah, let's go ahead and retire that all over the state.
- 11:54Speaker 5: I'm not mad at it.
- 11:55Speaker 7: All right, we will step away. We'll take a– oh, God,
- 11:58Speaker 7: what that drop from Romeo Dobbs.
- 12:00Speaker 9: Yeah, squirrel.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Packer.
- 12:02Speaker 5: The Packer just rubbed off on him.
- 12:04Speaker 7: More OTB when we come back here live from the
- 12:06Speaker 7: Raising Cane Studio.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Off the bench.
- 12:09Speaker 1: 2007 champs, purple and gold to the core. This is
- 12:24Speaker 1: Off the Bench with Hester and Flynn, Baton Rouge's go-to
- 12:28Speaker 1: for all things Louisiana sports.
- 12:49Speaker 5: All right, welcome back in OTB here on this Thursday morning.
- 13:15Speaker 5: I'm going to remind you about our friends over at
- 13:16Speaker 5: Bayou Automotive, bayouautomotive.com. Thank you. Just letting you know.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Is that car okay? No, it's good.
- 13:30Speaker 6: They're not telling you that.
- 13:31Speaker 4: They are not telling you.
- 13:32Speaker 7: That is a lemon that you just did there.
- 13:34Speaker 4: That was a muscle car.
- 13:35Speaker 7: Oh, okay.
- 13:36Speaker 4: Nidaling at the red light. Ready to beat your ass.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Sounds like it has maybe a transmission issue.
- 13:41Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Yeah, it sounds like it's got some stuff going on.
- 13:43Speaker 4: That's when they come and pick it up and just
- 13:45Speaker 4: drive it to their shop to fix it.
- 13:46Speaker 6: There you go.
- 13:46Speaker 5: There you go. You got it. You found your way.
- 13:49Speaker 7: I'm telling you if you see a vehicle on bayou automotive.com
- 13:51Speaker 7: that you like you better you better head down to
- 13:53Speaker 7: laplace louisiana or you better go ahead and buy that
- 13:56Speaker 7: vehicle online because let me tell you they are moving
- 13:58Speaker 7: and grooving there how do i know that because well
- 14:01Speaker 7: it's time for me to get a new bayou automotive
- 14:04Speaker 7: vehicle and i picked three different ones and they sold
- 14:07Speaker 7: that day all three of them so i was down
- 14:09Speaker 7: to another one now I have got a Bronco, the
- 14:13Speaker 7: Badlands package, by the way.
- 14:15Speaker 5: Black on black on black. And, oh, boy, it is.
- 14:18Speaker 6: I love a Badlands package.
- 14:20Speaker 5: It is down there, and it is real nice, Clark.
- 14:25Speaker 5: It is very, very nice.
- 14:26Speaker 7: That's what I wanted. I was almost afraid to take, because.
- 14:30Speaker 5: I knew that.
- 14:32Speaker 7: They've got Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram. So, like, when
- 14:36Speaker 7: you have that many options, right, you're going to have
- 14:38Speaker 7: something for everyone. And let me just say, everyone is
- 14:41Speaker 7: looking right now because they are moving. And so go
- 14:43Speaker 7: to BayouAutomotive.com today or make that short drive down to
- 14:46Speaker 7: La Paz, Louisiana to go see them and buy your
- 14:49Speaker 7: next vehicle.
- 14:51Speaker 5: That's not lip service.
- 14:52Speaker 4: That is truth.
- 14:54Speaker 5: All right.
- 14:57Speaker 7: LSU Louisiana Tech coming up this weekend. The New Orleans
- 14:59Speaker 7: Saints traveling to Detroit to take on the Lions. This weekend,
- 15:03Speaker 7: we've got NFL action tonight. We have got 49ers and
- 15:07Speaker 7: Rams from Melbourne, Australia. That game's going to be like
- 15:11Speaker 7: the morning time there, but it's going to be nighttime
- 15:14Speaker 7: for us. I believe a 7.30 kick on Netflix. The
- 15:18Speaker 7: Rams right now a three and a half point favorite
- 15:21Speaker 7: against the 49ers. Aaron Donald did not make the trip
- 15:24Speaker 7: to Australia. He's not quite ready to go just yet.
- 15:28Speaker 7: So no Aaron Donald, but they got a couple of
- 15:31Speaker 7: defensive linemen still there.
- 15:32Speaker 8: Yeah, no surprise Aaron Donald not making the trip to Australia.
- 15:37Speaker 8: I think that's been the one point of contention when
- 15:41Speaker 8: they talk about this game.
- 15:42Speaker 4: For one, why are you doing it from a... I
- 15:46Speaker 4: think George Kittle said it.
- 15:47Speaker 8: You are a league so focused on players, safety players,
- 15:51Speaker 8: safety players, safety players, health. This is not the healthiest
- 15:57Speaker 8: of situations to put players in, making them travel literally
- 16:01Speaker 8: across the world. Halfway across the world. Long flights, it's
- 16:06Speaker 8: not good for, you know, it's not the best, right?
- 16:09Speaker 8: Especially when you play such a high-octane sport like football.
- 16:13Speaker 4: So we'll see.
- 16:13Speaker 8: But it's no surprise that Aaron Donald didn't make the trip.
- 16:16Speaker 8: It's going to take him a few weeks, and let's
- 16:19Speaker 8: not get it twisted. Aaron Donald signed with them to
- 16:22Speaker 8: win a Super Bowl and help them make that playoff run.
- 16:25Speaker 8: So I don't think there's probably a rush to get
- 16:27Speaker 8: him back. I don't see things going sideways early on
- 16:31Speaker 8: for the Rams because Aaron Donald's not on the field.
- 16:34Speaker 8: But if anybody's going to get back quickly, though, anybody's
- 16:38Speaker 8: going to get calloused. We talk about you've got to
- 16:40Speaker 8: get in training camp. You've got to get calloused.
- 16:42Speaker 4: You've got to hit. It'd be that freak over there,
- 16:44Speaker 4: Aaron Donald.
- 16:45Speaker 7: It really just shows you, like, even a guy like that,
- 16:47Speaker 7: the one guy that we would kind of give that
- 16:50Speaker 7: title to is still like, hey, I need some more time.
- 16:52Speaker 7: Football shape, a little bit different than being in working
- 16:55Speaker 7: out on the beach shape. Even for a guy like
- 16:58Speaker 7: that that does these crazy workouts, works out with knives
- 17:01Speaker 7: and the whole deal, y'all have seen it. So he's
- 17:03Speaker 7: not going to be at the game in Australia. It's
- 17:05Speaker 7: going to be a hell of a football game. I'm
- 17:07Speaker 7: looking forward to it. The 49ers banged up to all
- 17:10Speaker 7: hell last year, still found a way to win 12 games,
- 17:13Speaker 7: make it to the postseason. They still got their stuff.
- 17:16Speaker 7: They still got injuries, right? I know Christian Kirk went
- 17:19Speaker 7: on the IR early. Ricky Pearsall's on the IR. So
- 17:23Speaker 7: it's still a lot of the same.
- 17:24Speaker 4: That substation.
- 17:28Speaker 7: But you do have Fred Warner. You've got Nick Bosa.
- 17:31Speaker 7: You've got Dre Greenlaw. You've got some guys. Now, Alfred
- 17:34Speaker 7: Collins is going to be out. He's going to be
- 17:36Speaker 7: out for the year. So Grayson Halton is going to
- 17:38Speaker 7: have to step up a defensive tackle. We'll see how
- 17:41Speaker 7: that goes in the interior of the defensive line for
- 17:44Speaker 7: the 49ers. But it is a marquee matchup. It is
- 17:48Speaker 7: good on good, and I think we're all looking forward
- 17:50Speaker 7: to it. After this, the 49ers, because of this travel,
- 17:53Speaker 7: they're going to have 10 days before they host the Dolphins.
- 17:56Speaker 7: the Rams are going to have 11 days before they
- 17:59Speaker 7: host the New York Giants. So not a bye week afterwards,
- 18:02Speaker 7: but you get three extra days, four extra days to
- 18:04Speaker 7: try to get back to something that is a normal
- 18:09Speaker 7: sleep schedule after being in Australia.
- 18:11Speaker 8: Yeah, and then if you look at wanting to put
- 18:13Speaker 8: a little action on the game, the Rams are three
- 18:16Speaker 8: and a half point favorites. Taylor, you were talking about
- 18:20Speaker 8: something a little bit interesting about the flight schedule.
- 18:24Speaker 4: I don't know if you can.
- 18:26Speaker 5: Oh, I haven't.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Yeah, we're ready to go.
- 18:29Speaker 3: They are going to play 28 hours after arriving. So
- 18:33Speaker 3: they left Los Angeles Tuesday night, got to Melbourne Thursday morning.
- 18:38Speaker 4: They're going to play 28 hours after landing.
- 18:41Speaker 3: I've seen a lot of people on ESPN the last
- 18:43Speaker 3: couple of days say, I have been to Australia. It
- 18:45Speaker 3: takes two to three days to adjust from that jet lag.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Sean McVay said that they put together a research team.
- 18:52Speaker 3: They wanted to keep their bodies aligned with their normal
- 18:55Speaker 3: Pacific time that they're used to. And apparently they sent
- 18:58Speaker 3: players as Guinea pigs back in the spring. The Rams
- 19:01Speaker 3: did to test this and see how it would work.
- 19:04Speaker 3: They apparently think it's going to work and nobody else does.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Also the plane they took no wifi. So 16 hour flight,
- 19:10Speaker 3: no wifi. So they're, they're doing something a little bit different.
- 19:15Speaker 3: The 49ers had been there like the whole week. They're
- 19:18Speaker 3: good to go, but again, quick turnaround. They're actually leaving
- 19:21Speaker 3: directly after the game to getting back on, coming back
- 19:24Speaker 3: to LA. So that's either going to be really good
- 19:26Speaker 3: for them or really bad.
- 19:27Speaker 7: I think it's really bad. We had a chance to
- 19:30Speaker 7: be over in London for a week. We went from
- 19:32Speaker 7: playing the bills in Buffalo to London. There was no
- 19:35Speaker 7: point in flying back across the country only to fly
- 19:37Speaker 7: back over. And it took us like two or three
- 19:40Speaker 7: days to eight hour difference.
- 19:44Speaker 5: So when you're supposed to be sleeping, you're practicing, right?
- 19:48Speaker 4: It's tough.
- 19:49Speaker 7: And then you couldn't go back to bed. It was,
- 19:50Speaker 7: it was, it was not very fun. And so like,
- 19:53Speaker 7: I don't agree with just trying to do that. That,
- 19:55Speaker 7: that feels like too much. I would rather be in
- 19:57Speaker 7: the camp of going over there, and actually spending some
- 19:59Speaker 7: time getting your body clock. And then you've got four
- 20:02Speaker 7: days once you get home to kind of get your
- 20:03Speaker 7: body clock back to that.
- 20:05Speaker 4: How many hours? Not a flight.
- 20:07Speaker 8: What's the time difference between Australia and Western Australia?
- 20:11Speaker 4: Oh, so they left.
- 20:13Speaker 3: So kickoff will be 10.35 Friday morning for Australia, and
- 20:17Speaker 3: it's 7.30 tonight for us.
- 20:20Speaker 1: All right.
- 20:25Speaker 3: But no, McVay said that they sent actual players in
- 20:28Speaker 3: the spring to test this out, and they had recovery
- 20:31Speaker 3: data coming back, and this is the plan they went with.
- 20:34Speaker 3: No one's ever done it like this before.
- 20:36Speaker 4: So it's ahead.
- 20:39Speaker 5: It's tomorrow there right now.
- 20:41Speaker 4: It's already tomorrow. They're playing the game September 11th.
- 20:44Speaker 7: Yeah, it's 1224 a.m. in Melbourne right now.
- 20:49Speaker 5: And in Los Angeles and San Francisco, it's 724 a.m.
- 20:52Speaker 4: The day before. That makes sense.
- 20:56Speaker 6: It doesn't make sense to me.
- 20:57Speaker 4: I've got to be honest. Was it Raheem Morris, I believe?
- 21:00Speaker 4: The earth goes in a circle.
- 21:02Speaker 6: No, I thought it was flat.
- 21:03Speaker 4: It spins like a CD.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I thought that Antarctica had like a secret society in
- 21:10Speaker 2: it and that the.
- 21:12Speaker 4: Earth was flat. No, Raheem Morris missed his birthday. Oh, yeah.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Poor Raheem.
- 21:19Speaker 3: His birthday.
- 21:19Speaker 4: He flew right through it.
- 21:21Speaker 3: His birthday was September 3rd. They flew over. It was
- 21:24Speaker 3: the second when they left. It was early September 4th
- 21:27Speaker 3: when they got there. So he missed his 50th birthday.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Holy cow.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Time is so mind-blowing.
- 21:31Speaker 5: I know. So he literally missed his day. Being tomorrow
- 21:34Speaker 5: is really frying my brain right now.
- 21:35Speaker 6: So it's tomorrow in Australia right now?
- 21:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 4: So the game is going to be, when they kick off,
- 21:40Speaker 4: it's going to be 10.30 Friday, September 11th.
- 21:41Speaker 5: 10.30 a.m.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Friday, September 11th.
- 21:45Speaker 7: Yes, so it's going to be Thursday at 5.35 p.m.
- 21:50Speaker 5: In L.A. and San Francisco.
- 21:53Speaker 7: But for them, it's going to be played at 11.35 a.m.
- 21:56Speaker 7: on Friday in Australia.
- 21:58Speaker 4: I'm shook.
- 21:59Speaker 8: So they're going to play the game. They're going to
- 22:02Speaker 8: play a game at 10.30 on Friday. They're going to
- 22:04Speaker 8: play the game. They're going to fly back to America,
- 22:07Speaker 8: and they're going to probably land on 10.30 on Friday.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:11Speaker 5: At the same time, they kicked off the game from us.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Yeah. Like time travel. Friday's going to be a long
- 22:16Speaker 4: day for them. It's going to be.
- 22:18Speaker 9: A long day.
- 22:18Speaker 4: We're going to have two Fridays.
- 22:20Speaker 5: We're going to have two Fridays.
- 22:21Speaker 4: It's going to be a 48-hour day.
- 22:22Speaker 5: If you've got to have two days of the same,
- 22:23Speaker 5: it might as well be Friday.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Friday or Tuesday.
- 22:26Speaker 5: Friday or Tuesday, yep. Tuesday's the biggest day of the
- 22:28Speaker 5: week here for us.
- 22:29Speaker 4: For sure. Two Tuesdays.
- 22:30Speaker 6: Not sure why, but.
- 22:31Speaker 5: I don't remember why it happened either, but it was.
- 22:34Speaker 4: It's a thing.
- 22:35Speaker 5: It was something with Busta Rhymes... Breaking some necks.
- 22:38Speaker 4: It was on Tuesdays. Yeah, just the overall feeling.
- 22:42Speaker 6: I think we were trying to make Tuesdays fun because
- 22:44Speaker 6: they're not usually.
- 22:45Speaker 4: Because objectively, they're usually the worst.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Monday, you've got a recap day. It's a big day.
- 22:49Speaker 5: Wednesday's hump day. Thursday doesn't even really count.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Tuesday's just kind of a lag. Now we've got Tuesday
- 22:55Speaker 4: film day, too.
- 22:57Speaker 6: Oh, my gosh. You're so right.
- 22:59Speaker 5: What? What is that? Eye in the sky?
- 23:02Speaker 4: Eye in the sky.
- 23:03Speaker 5: Wait, film review? You go to.
- 23:06Speaker 5: YouTube and you subscribe and you like it and you
- 23:08Speaker 5: watch it.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, might as well do it. Everybody else is.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Almost 1,000 people already subscribing to the channel.
- 23:13Speaker 6: 10,000 views, y'all.
- 23:15Speaker 5: Not a big deal. And now we've got a remote.
- 23:18Speaker 5: We have a remote. With a laser on it.
- 23:21Speaker 6: I think I figured out how to make the TV
- 23:23Speaker 6: full screen.
- 23:23Speaker 4: And a lot of good constructive feedback in the suggestions.
- 23:28Speaker 5: It was our preseason game.
- 23:29Speaker 4: It was our preseason game.
- 23:30Speaker 5: It was a practice.
- 23:31Speaker 2: I appreciate it, but they're also telling us stuff we
- 23:33Speaker 2: already know.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, yeah, but I do appreciate it. That means
- 23:36Speaker 4: they care. Yeah. Absolutely.
- 23:41Speaker 5: How are we figuring that out? What was the issue?
- 23:44Speaker 6: If I tried to explain it, y'all wouldn't.
- 23:46Speaker 8: It's kind of like this whole Thursday-Friday situation.
- 23:50Speaker 6: I was telling Matt, like, wires are kind of.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Like, I'm really good at puzzles, and wires are kind
- 23:57Speaker 2: of like a puzzle to me. So I think I
- 23:59Speaker 2: figured it out.
- 24:00Speaker 1: But.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Whenever I was trying to do it, mind you, I
- 24:02Speaker 6: don't know how anything in that studio works.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Also, the people in that studio don't know how.
- 24:06Speaker 4: It works either. We walked in 10 minutes before we
- 24:08Speaker 4: were going to film.
- 24:08Speaker 6: And then y'all, you were on a time crunch.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Yep.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Y'all were watching me do the wires, and it was
- 24:14Speaker 2: making me nervous. And I was like, I need to hurry.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Jake's got to get out of here. And I was like,
- 24:20Speaker 2: screw it.
- 24:20Speaker 6: We'll do it live. And then that's what happened. But
- 24:24Speaker 6: I think I got it.
- 24:25Speaker 5: I think it was good.
- 24:26Speaker 6: I've been thinking about it since Tuesday.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Let's go practice.
- 24:29Speaker 6: I mean it.
- 24:30Speaker 5: I'm down with that.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Let's go do a walkthrough.
- 24:33Speaker 5: We did. That was our walkthrough. We just put it
- 24:35Speaker 5: on tape.
- 24:35Speaker 6: I would like to do another walkthrough.
- 24:36Speaker 5: We should do another walkthrough. Yeah, but what if we
- 24:39Speaker 5: did like another walkthrough?
- 24:40Speaker 4: Like a real one.
- 24:45Speaker 5: We can barely get you.
- 24:46Speaker 6: I tried my best, though.
- 24:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know. It's asking a lot.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Me? Yeah. It's you, bud.
- 24:51Speaker 5: I do have a lot of shows. Lots of shows.
- 24:57Speaker 5: Deep cut. Yeah, it's deep cut. That will never leave me, though.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Oh, for sure.
- 25:02Speaker 3: No, ever.
- 25:02Speaker 5: That will never leave me.
- 25:05Speaker 4: Lots of stuff.
- 25:06Speaker 7: All right, we'll take a break. Got a little something
- 25:09Speaker 7: special when we come back. Something number five? I got
- 25:15Speaker 7: five on it.
- 25:16Speaker 5: When we come back here on OTB.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 25:20Speaker 7: All right, when something goes wrong with your plumbing, you
- 25:22Speaker 7: don't want to waste your time figuring out who to call.
- 25:24Speaker 7: I'll call the people you can trust at Central Plumbing.
- 25:27Speaker 7: So whether it's a leak, a clogged drain, water heater issues,

- 25:53Speaker 8: it doesn't matter. They have done, they can do it all,
- 25:54Speaker 8: and they've done it all for me. They've helped us
- 25:57Speaker 8: out at our house. But at our business, they've turned
- 26:01Speaker 8: a warehouse, an old warehouse with four walls and a roof,
- 26:05Speaker 8: they turned it into a full-blown food and beverage manufacturing facility.
- 26:09Speaker 8: We're talking about big water lines, high water pressure, gas lines, boilers,
- 26:13Speaker 8: you name it. They can do it all. Nothing too big,
- 26:15Speaker 8: nothing too small for Central Plumbing. Go to centralplumbing.org.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Locked in on LSU football 24-7. You're listening to Off
- 26:28Speaker 1: the Bench.
- 26:43Speaker 10: Off the Bench.
- 26:56Speaker 7: All right, welcome back in OTV.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Here on this Thursday morning.
- 27:03Speaker 7: Now, if you're an OG original, you have seen us
- 27:06Speaker 7: do shows from Pro Dreams over there right by the
- 27:10Speaker 7: OG walk-ons, and they've got incredible stuff. And since we
- 27:14Speaker 7: actually were doing shows there a year ago, they've actually
- 27:17Speaker 7: added trading cards to the shop as well, so a
- 27:19Speaker 7: little bit of everything there. Our guy Trey Ledbetter joins
- 27:23Speaker 7: us now, obviously from Pro Dreams.
- 27:25Speaker 5: He's been on the show before. Trey, always a pleasure, sir.
- 27:28Speaker 4: Welcome.
- 27:28Speaker 9: Thank you, Hester, for having me. Matt, good morning.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Great to see you. Yeah. Yeah.
- 27:33Speaker 9: Good to be in studio.
- 27:34Speaker 4: Got a good-looking helmet over there.
- 27:36Speaker 9: It's like a show and tell. It's like a grown-up
- 27:38Speaker 9: football show and tell.
- 27:39Speaker 4: It's basically what the whole shop is. It's just like
- 27:42Speaker 4: you go in and it's like, oh, look at that. Oh,
- 27:43Speaker 4: look at that.
- 27:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 4: That's fun.
- 27:45Speaker 9: We still never completed the you wearing the Zack Morris jersey.
- 27:48Speaker 4: I know.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 27:50Speaker 4: Right yeah it.
- 27:51Speaker 5: Was a tank top right you still owe me yeah
- 27:53Speaker 5: yeah you.
- 27:53Speaker 4: Do yeah you know you owe me that.
- 27:57Speaker 7: All right so we want to have trey on because
- 28:00Speaker 7: trey is having a big show later today that's actually
- 28:04Speaker 7: going to be tonight uh dj pickett number five himself
- 28:09Speaker 7: is going to be over there at pro dreams and
- 28:11Speaker 7: so tell us a little bit about the.
- 28:12Speaker 9: Show So 3930 Burbank Drive, right next to the OG Walk-Ons,
- 28:17Speaker 9: right next to Modesto.
- 28:19Speaker 5: Yep.
- 28:19Speaker 9: Shout out to the best Mexican food and beverage.
- 28:21Speaker 4: I was there yesterday.
- 28:22Speaker 5: Yeah, two days ago. So good. Two days ago.
- 28:24Speaker 9: We're going to have DJ Pickett live in Living Color,
- 28:27Speaker 9: the new number five, out signing autographs at our store.
- 28:31Speaker 9: It's just $ 45 to get something signed. You can bring
- 28:33Speaker 9: in your own item, your own get-up, football, New Jersey,
- 28:38Speaker 9: whatever you wanted to do.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Sweet.
- 28:39Speaker 9: You can bring in photos. You can take photos with
- 28:42Speaker 9: the guy. It's $ 45. Or you can purchase something from us.
- 28:45Speaker 9: We have jerseys, helmets, bats, balls, whatever.
- 28:48Speaker 5: Yeah, what's that picture you got there?
- 28:50Speaker 9: So this is the promotion just for the next hour
- 28:54Speaker 9: while the show is still running.
- 28:55Speaker 5: Okay.
- 28:55Speaker 9: So the viewers can see. Where's the camera?
- 28:58Speaker 5: That is it.
- 28:59Speaker 9: So this is a 16 by 20 size of DJ
- 29:02Speaker 9: Pickett running out through the smoke. And then this is
- 29:06Speaker 9: an edited version, just kind of a collage of DJ
- 29:10Speaker 9: with his new number five. We are giving this promotion
- 29:14Speaker 9: away to anyone that buys something off of our website.
- 29:19Speaker 9: For the DJ picket signing, whether you're buying a helmet,
- 29:23Speaker 9: whether you're buying a ticket, we will give you one
- 29:25Speaker 9: of these 16x20s.
- 29:28Speaker 4: For the next hour.
- 29:28Speaker 5: For the next hour.
- 29:29Speaker 9: Hour only. Go on our website, pro-dreams.com. And just type
- 29:34Speaker 9: in DJ in the search bar and the items will
- 29:37Speaker 9: come up and we'll see for the next hour. 60
- 29:40Speaker 9: minutes starting now.
- 29:41Speaker 5: Starting now so 9 36 to 10 36.
- 29:44Speaker 9: And you'll get one of those dj picket you have
- 29:48Speaker 9: to go to 9 36 because you can't say 9
- 29:51Speaker 9: 35 Ah.
- 29:51Speaker 5: That's right. That's right. I see what you did there.
- 29:54Speaker 7: I was going off the world clock, but I see
- 29:56Speaker 7: what you did there. And we're not talking about like
- 29:58Speaker 7: a three by five. Like it's a giant, giant picture
- 30:00Speaker 7: of DJ Pickett. That one, him running out of the
- 30:02Speaker 7: tunnel is very, very cool.
- 30:04Speaker 4: And so I look at frame that. I don't know
- 30:06Speaker 4: which side to frame.
- 30:07Speaker 5: You just take it out.
- 30:08Speaker 8: It's not, it's not on back to back.
- 30:14Speaker 9: If the viewers can see also, we have these available
- 30:17Speaker 9: in store. This is the imitation of the color change
- 30:19Speaker 9: in helmet. That we wore in 2018. This is a
- 30:23Speaker 9: full-size authentic. We have some reps available, too. But beautiful,
- 30:27Speaker 9: beautiful helmet.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Shines in the light. Look how pretty. Yeah, that is.
- 30:31Speaker 5: I wouldn't mind seeing that.
- 30:33Speaker 9: Not game used.
- 30:34Speaker 5: No, I wouldn't mind seeing them wearing that again.
- 30:36Speaker 9: Wouldn't it be crazy?
- 30:37Speaker 5: No, the uniform, the helmet, the whole deal.
- 30:39Speaker 4: We used to have one of those.
- 30:41Speaker 9: Well, now you can at pro-dreams.com.
- 30:45Speaker 5: And guess what you get? DJ Pickett poster.
- 30:48Speaker 4: That's right.
- 30:48Speaker 9: Yeah, you do.
- 30:49Speaker 5: But you got to do it like in the next
- 30:50Speaker 5: 57 minutes.
- 30:50Speaker 9: I see Trey.
- 30:52Speaker 5: Trying to shortchange him already. It's 59 minutes. Y'all had
- 30:57Speaker 5: a big show.
- 30:58Speaker 7: Me and Memphis actually went over there at the Laverish
- 31:00Speaker 7: Casino not that long ago, and that was pretty star-studded there.
- 31:05Speaker 7: I mean, you had LSU current athletes.
- 31:08Speaker 5: You had Boosie there. You had a little bit of
- 31:10Speaker 5: everything there. How'd that go?
- 31:11Speaker 9: Livia Dunn was there. We had all the main characters
- 31:14Speaker 9: of this year's football team. We're really excited about some
- 31:16Speaker 9: of the new inventory. You can catch us out at
- 31:18Speaker 9: the stadium. We have six locations on game day. So
- 31:21Speaker 9: come check us out. If you can't buy it on
- 31:23Speaker 9: the website, you can buy it on game day. Right
- 31:25Speaker 9: there next to Mike the Tiger. And we have locations
- 31:29Speaker 9: throughout the stadium and all.
- 31:30Speaker 5: All right.
- 31:30Speaker 8: So, Trey, how do you– I know how you get
- 31:33Speaker 8: the players. You talk to the players. You've got connections there.
- 31:35Speaker 8: How does one go about getting Boosie to come and sign?
- 31:38Speaker 9: If I tell you, I'll have to hurt you. No,
- 31:43Speaker 9: Boosie is a– cultural icon, whatever word that is, he
- 31:50Speaker 9: has sold more inventory in the last 90 days for
- 31:53Speaker 9: us than pretty much any other athlete. It is a
- 31:55Speaker 9: crazy phenom, and he may or may not be running
- 31:59Speaker 9: out of the tunnel or doing some sort of something
- 32:04Speaker 9: in the next couple of home games, maybe.
- 32:06Speaker 5: Well, I know that.
- 32:08Speaker 7: He put that out there on the table a couple
- 32:10Speaker 7: of months ago. He wanted to lead the Tigers out
- 32:12Speaker 7: of the tunnel singing one of his songs.
- 32:14Speaker 4: It's happening.
- 32:15Speaker 7: Well, I mean, if the first week is an indication
- 32:17Speaker 7: of what's to come as far as celebrities and people
- 32:21Speaker 7: around the program, I wouldn't be surprised by anything.
- 32:24Speaker 4: I'd be shocked if it didn't. Yeah. Yeah. Because nothing
- 32:28Speaker 4: should shock us at this point.
- 32:30Speaker 9: Yeah, so we'll have jerseys. We've got some jerseys signed
- 32:32Speaker 9: by him. It has 225 on the back of it
- 32:34Speaker 9: that he signed with Boosie on the back. Pretty neat
- 32:37Speaker 9: new inventory.
- 32:39Speaker 4: Very cool.
- 32:40Speaker 7: Real quick, I want to tell you about our friends
- 32:41Speaker 7: over at K to Z, ktozblinds.com, K to Z Interiors
- 32:45Speaker 7: and Outdoor Living. Brandon Barton and the team have been
- 32:47Speaker 7: in the game since 2004. They're coming out to my
- 32:51Speaker 7: house next weekend. Looking forward to that. Getting some shades
- 32:54Speaker 7: in our kitchen. Stop with the laser pointer.
- 32:58Speaker 4: Squirrel.
- 32:59Speaker 5: Ktozblinds.com is the website, ktozblinds.com.
- 33:03Speaker 7: You mentioned, Trey, that you had stuff outside the stadium,
- 33:06Speaker 7: Mike the Tiger's cage. That's a little bit of everything, too,
- 33:08Speaker 7: if I remember right, like jerseys, helmets, some very cool,
- 33:12Speaker 7: unique stuff that you've.
- 33:13Speaker 5: Got outside the Tiger. Yeah, we're at heart.
- 33:15Speaker 9: We're a full-service auction company, so if you're looking to
- 33:17Speaker 9: raise money, you can use us. By using some of
- 33:19Speaker 9: our inventory, we raise money at no cost, and we
- 33:21Speaker 9: donate a percentage back of whatever we sell. So we
- 33:23Speaker 9: try to have a full range of inventory, not just LSU,
- 33:27Speaker 9: not just Saints. So we have stuff signed by Mike Tyson,
- 33:30Speaker 9: and obviously we mentioned the Zach Morris stuff earlier. Uh,
- 33:33Speaker 9: but we kind of have a range for all fans.
- 33:35Speaker 8: What's been the most obscure item this year so far? Uh,
- 33:40Speaker 8: last year when you had the, um, it was like
- 33:41Speaker 8: the Chris Farley bag out of rehab or something like that.
- 33:44Speaker 8: What's been like the most obscure item that you've either
- 33:46Speaker 8: sold or had in your store this year?
- 33:48Speaker 9: I felt really weird selling Libby Dunn leotards, but I
- 33:51Speaker 9: sold 50 of them in the last 30 days. Uh,
- 33:55Speaker 9: and everybody had the same kind of comments, uh, But, yeah.
- 33:59Speaker 5: I remember I went to the signing. I was like, hey,
- 34:01Speaker 5: am I supposed to sign these? And I picked one up.
- 34:03Speaker 9: It's like, no, it's not for me. So, if we
- 34:06Speaker 9: can get Matt in the Zach Morris jersey, can we
- 34:11Speaker 9: get you an elite guitar?
- 34:12Speaker 5: No.
- 34:13Speaker 4: No shot.
- 34:13Speaker 5: Not going to happen.
- 34:15Speaker 9: No shot.
- 34:15Speaker 5: No, fullbacks aren't made for this.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I signed some ankle braces.
- 34:20Speaker 5: There you go.
- 34:20Speaker 4: There you go.
- 34:21Speaker 9: What's the weirdest thing either one of y'all have ever signed?
- 34:24Speaker 5: I still, like, I've done this twice.
- 34:28Speaker 7: Somebody has asked for me to sign a part of
- 34:30Speaker 7: their body so they could go.
- 34:32Speaker 4: Get it tattooed.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:34Speaker 7: It's happened twice to me. And one guy had, like,
- 34:36Speaker 7: he had a crystal ball, like, of the trophy.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 7: And he's like, hey, I want you to sign right
- 34:41Speaker 7: underneath this. And I'm like, kind of at first, I'm like, why?
- 34:44Speaker 7: He's like, I'm going to get this tattooed with this tattoo.
- 34:46Speaker 5: And I'm like, you know, that's forever.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:49Speaker 7: So, like, you try to take your time on the signature.
- 34:51Speaker 7: He had a Sharpie just like this one. It's kind
- 34:52Speaker 7: of like a bigger one. And it was at the
- 34:54Speaker 7: 2019 National Championship Parade. I emceed that one. And I
- 34:58Speaker 7: come off stage. He's like, boom. I'm like, I got
- 35:00Speaker 7: all this adrenaline. So I'm like, you know, I'm like.
- 35:03Speaker 7: Was it a clean auto?
- 35:04Speaker 5: It was.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:05Speaker 5: I took my time on that one.
- 35:07Speaker 9: Have you seen it since?
- 35:08Speaker 7: Yeah, it looks good. Yeah, it looks good. He showed
- 35:10Speaker 7: me the final product a little bit after that. I'm like,
- 35:13Speaker 7: that's a lot of pressure.
- 35:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 5: So that's probably for me. That's like the most odd thing.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Cell phones.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Cell phones.
- 35:20Speaker 4: It's a strange one.
- 35:21Speaker 5: Glasses.
- 35:23Speaker 8: Okay, so Jacob and I recently did a very cool one.
- 35:26Speaker 8: I've never done this one before. And I looked at
- 35:30Speaker 8: it and I was like, I want that. So someone
- 35:32Speaker 8: brought us a hard hat that said Home Depot hard
- 35:35Speaker 8: hat that has Game Day's logos. They used to give
- 35:38Speaker 8: the hard hats away. It's a Game Day hard hat,
- 35:41Speaker 8: orange hard hat, that was from the LSU Florida 07.
- 35:45Speaker 8: But when Game Day was on campus, they were there
- 35:48Speaker 8: as a student, had the hard hat.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Got one. See, I think that's memorabilia. That is cool. Yeah.
- 35:53Speaker 5: That gets me excited, too. I'd like to have that.
- 35:56Speaker 8: And it was like, he was there. He waited in line.
- 35:59Speaker 8: He was at game day. He kept the hard at
- 36:01Speaker 8: and came to sign in. We signed him. And I
- 36:03Speaker 8: was like, man, that is really. I hadn't ever even
- 36:07Speaker 8: thought about that. And that was a cool one.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Can't find that on eBay. No. I guarantee you won't. Yeah.
- 36:12Speaker 7: Yeah. All right, Trey, one more time, the signing tonight
- 36:19Speaker 7: and where they can go to find more information. You
- 36:22Speaker 7: now have 53 minutes to go on the website.

- 39:31Speaker 7: Nottingham Forest. You've got Chelsea and Hull City.
- 39:34Speaker 5: Hull, by the way, has not even.
- 39:35Speaker 6: Is Villarreal EPL?
- 39:37Speaker 5: No.
- 39:37Speaker 6: Damn.
- 39:38Speaker 5: No, they're not.
- 39:39Speaker 6: I was going to buy a jersey and everything.
- 39:41Speaker 7: No, they're La Liga. Hull City, which just got up
- 39:44Speaker 7: from relegation. Obviously, in the Championship League, they got promoted.
- 39:48Speaker 7: promotion relegation, and they haven't given up a goal yet,
- 39:51Speaker 7: so they've been a fun story. Ipwich is taking on
- 39:53Speaker 7: Crystal Palace as well, Liverpool and Fulham, and then you've

- 40:07Speaker 7: at 2.
- 40:07Speaker 5: P.m., yeah.
- 40:08Speaker 6: You could probably find Gordie at Pelican to Mars tomorrow
- 40:10Speaker 6: at 11.30.
- 40:10Speaker 7: Gordie don't want to see me there. By the way,
- 40:13Speaker 7: it's Saturday morning. Full slate of EPL games. Go check

- 40:22Speaker 5: in town, I'm just going to be there.
- 40:23Speaker 6: Hey, next week, Ole Miss.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I'm going to have some Bocock cigars out there giving away.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Pelican to Mars is giving away some great stuff, too.
- 40:34Speaker 2: Maybe a ticket involved.
- 40:35Speaker 6: I don't know. Let's come hang out.
- 40:38Speaker 4: Why didn't Gordy want to see you? Did you punch
- 40:40Speaker 4: him in the face?
- 40:41Speaker 5: Right.
- 40:41Speaker 6: He'd truck him.
- 40:42Speaker 4: Yeah. Don't want to see me.
- 40:44Speaker 5: Actually, I mean, don't kick a guy while he's down.
- 40:46Speaker 5: Tottenham's bad.
- 40:47Speaker 4: Dang. Real bad.
- 40:49Speaker 6: The Spurs?
- 40:50Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. Tottenham Hotspur.
- 40:51Speaker 6: Hey, look at me.
- 40:53Speaker 5: No big deal. No big deal.
- 40:55Speaker 6: I'm just an EPL girly.
- 40:57Speaker 5: Summer saying it, even though you asked if Villarreal was
- 41:00Speaker 5: in the EPL.
- 41:02Speaker 6: Summer saying, I know the EPL.
- 41:04Speaker 1: All right.
- 41:07Speaker 5: Before we get to.
- 41:07Speaker 7: Ask the Bench, somebody that we know is always on
- 41:10Speaker 7: top of their game over at Ochsner. Back and spine
- 41:12Speaker 7: pain can affect everything, work, sleep, family time, even the
- 41:15Speaker 7: things you enjoy doing the most. At Ochsner Health, their
- 41:18Speaker 7: specialists focus on finding the source of the pain and
- 41:21Speaker 7: building a treatment plan around you, and that doesn't always
- 41:24Speaker 7: mean surgery. So from physical therapy and targeted procedures to
- 41:28Speaker 7: an invasive treatments and advanced spine care, Ochsner's goal is simple,
- 41:33Speaker 7: help you move better. feel better, and get back to
- 41:36Speaker 7: living your life. You can learn more or schedule an
- 41:38Speaker 7: appointment at Ochsner.org.
- 41:39Speaker 1: What?
- 41:42Speaker 4: I don't know. What you doing over there?
- 41:44Speaker 5: I was just remote.
- 41:46Speaker 4: Doom scrolling.
- 41:47Speaker 5: Doom scrolling during the segment?
- 41:49Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 41:50Speaker 8: I was looking at Mike Elko talking about how she's
- 41:52Speaker 8: getting parented right now.
- 41:54Speaker 6: Oh, I saw that.
- 41:55Speaker 2: Mike Elko was like, the SEC is just the father
- 41:58Speaker 2: trying to parent. The son's pushing the boundaries, son being
- 42:01Speaker 2: Lane Kiffin.
- 42:02Speaker 6: Well, she's going to.
- 42:03Speaker 4: Be in the SEC. Lane's the rebellious child. Mike Elko.
- 42:07Speaker 8: There's a couple things I know. He's like, I know
- 42:09Speaker 8: that SEC is going to be in this, or LSU
- 42:11Speaker 8: is going to be in the SEC, and I know
- 42:12Speaker 8: that their fans are going to be crazy when we
- 42:14Speaker 8: show up there in a couple weeks. They're just getting
- 42:16Speaker 8: parented a little bit.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:20Speaker 2: I just always think about like the quote that Lane
- 42:23Speaker 2: Kiffin had during like a, a press conference. And I,
- 42:26Speaker 2: I've brought it up before, but Chris Gordy actually asked it.
- 42:29Speaker 2: He asked about, um, the basketball hoop on the sideline.
- 42:33Speaker 2: And he said that he just likes to come up
- 42:35Speaker 2: with stuff like that to bring eyes. Cause you know,
- 42:37Speaker 2: he was at FAU and he was at Ole Miss
- 42:39Speaker 2: and like Ole Miss is Ole Miss now, but before
- 42:42Speaker 2: Lane Kiffin, nobody really cared about them or at.
- 42:44Speaker 6: Least I didn't.
- 42:45Speaker 2: But, um, he just likes to go to places like
- 42:49Speaker 2: that and bring eyes to the program. So stuff like that,
- 42:52Speaker 2: like the basketball hoop cookie on the sideline with the
- 42:55Speaker 2: fire extinguisher, that's, that goes.
- 42:58Speaker 6: Viral and it brings eyes.
- 42:59Speaker 2: And to me, I just keep thinking about that. We're like,
- 43:04Speaker 2: all of this is just bringing eyes to LSU.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:07Speaker 4: He said, he said it Monday. He said, I want
- 43:09Speaker 4: to have so many eyes.
- 43:11Speaker 3: He said, I want to have the discipline of Elaine
- 43:13Speaker 3: Kiffin team on the field, but the fun is of,
- 43:16Speaker 3: Pete Carroll in Hollywood.
- 43:17Speaker 8: I don't necessarily love, okay, I don't necessarily love that
- 43:21Speaker 8: it was like, it was kind of like Ole Miss'
- 43:23Speaker 8: thing as well, like the basketball thing, but I also
- 43:25Speaker 8: do know he has had it everywhere.
- 43:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:27Speaker 8: We talked about the Pete Carroll thing. Pete Carroll had it.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:31Speaker 4: He used to do that when I was in Seattle.
- 43:32Speaker 8: There was a basketball goal in the team meeting room
- 43:34Speaker 8: that people would throw a basketball around, people would shoot
- 43:36Speaker 8: it from their seat.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 43:37Speaker 3: Bro, the freaking Ole Miss fans over the weekend, they're like, ha,
- 43:40Speaker 3: LSU don't get a basketball.
- 43:42Speaker 4: It's cringe. They want to be us so bad. Like, buddy,
- 43:44Speaker 4: Lane Kiffin made you.
- 43:46Speaker 5: Who are you? They want to beat us so bad.
- 43:50Speaker 5: I've never seen.
- 43:53Speaker 6: A fan base cope the way that Ole Miss is.
- 43:55Speaker 7: Western Division champs when you didn't play in Atlanta and
- 43:58Speaker 7: LSU won a national championship that year in your stadium.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Do we have to give back all of our trophies?
- 44:05Speaker 6: Do they got Bo Wallace?
- 44:08Speaker 4: Yes, sir.
- 44:10Speaker 6: He'd be going crazy on Twitter.
- 44:12Speaker 5: I wouldn't know.
- 44:14Speaker 8: Actually, I guess to mention, anyone think LSU comes out
- 44:16Speaker 8: flat against Louisiana Tech?
- 44:18Speaker 2: No. No.
- 44:19Speaker 4: Not after this week.
- 44:20Speaker 1: No.
- 44:21Speaker 8: Normally, I would say there's a chance. I mean, like
- 44:23Speaker 8: these types of games, there's always a chance. There's always
- 44:25Speaker 8: a chance in these. But I think after this week, no,
- 44:28Speaker 8: I don't think so.
- 44:29Speaker 2: No, I think they want to, like, run all over
- 44:31Speaker 2: everybody that they play, Louisiana Tech included.
- 44:34Speaker 4: And then afterwards, maybe drink a Dos Equis.
- 44:37Speaker 5: From our guy, Avo, Nottingham Forest.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Glug, glug, glug, glug.
- 44:41Speaker 5: They had the Robin Hoods. No, that'd be pretty cool
- 44:43Speaker 5: if they were.
- 44:43Speaker 6: That gets me every time.
- 44:46Speaker 4: I just don't know my rule.
- 44:47Speaker 6: I point, and he goes, glug, glug.
- 44:50Speaker 4: Some say I can do it on command.
- 44:52Speaker 7: Ask the bench. Hester, what was your receiving stats at LSU?
- 44:56Speaker 7: I looked those up. 62 catches for 459 yards in
- 45:01Speaker 7: my career and four touchdowns.
- 45:03Speaker 4: Hell, yeah.
- 45:04Speaker 7: When I had Jamarcus as my quarterback, I had 39 catches.
- 45:07Speaker 7: When I had Flynn as my quarterback, 14 catches.
- 45:10Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 45:11Speaker 9: Hmm.
- 45:11Speaker 4: Get open.
- 45:12Speaker 5: That was open. Give me a better ball.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Dropped one of my best passes of my career.
- 45:16Speaker 5: Had three touchdowns, only one touchdown with you.
- 45:20Speaker 4: That was such a good throw.
- 45:23Speaker 5: That's too good of a throw.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Right through your hands. You almost touched it. Too good.
- 45:28Speaker 4: One just right there. Those big hands, it missed both hands. Like,
- 45:32Speaker 4: my God, how does that happen? You had to have
- 45:34Speaker 4: been trying.
- 45:34Speaker 5: I just wanted a rushing touchdown a little bit later on.
- 45:36Speaker 4: That's true.
- 45:37Speaker 5: I didn't want to give you any credit.
- 45:39Speaker 4: See you at Rouse's.
- 45:40Speaker 5: We love you. We thank you. We'll be live from
- 45:42Speaker 5: Rouse's tomorrow. Come join us. Go America.
- 45:44Speaker 4: USA.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 45:50Speaker 5: What? Matt's about to tell us about the fine folks
- 45:52Speaker 5: over at Caterus.
- 45:53Speaker 8: Our amazing partners at Caterus. When you think about Louisiana,
