Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Here comes the Mark Simone Show on Sevenrday. It's only Tuesday,
- 0:13Speaker 2: but you know, today's the first day of spring training.
- 0:16Speaker 2: That's right. Spring is just a few weeks away, just
- 0:19Speaker 2: a few weeks. Spring training opens today. Hey, we got
- 0:23Speaker 2: a lot to get to. We'll get to the latest
- 0:25Speaker 2: on the Guth three kidnapping. We'll get to Bad Bunny.
- 0:29Speaker 2: There's all sorts of Epstein developments. We'll get to that.
- 0:32Speaker 2: We'll get to Cardinal Dolan, We'll get to Bruce Blakeman.
- 0:35Speaker 2: He's picked a running mate. He'll get the nomination. Actually,
- 0:38Speaker 2: tomorrow morning he'll officially become the candidate. Super Bowl is over,
- 0:44Speaker 2: and now I realized it's gonna be the first weekend
- 0:47Speaker 2: with no football. There's nothing to watch this weekend football wise.
- 0:51Speaker 2: So the Bad Bunny thing, I think was great because
- 0:55Speaker 2: it's first of all, he wasn't that bad.
- 0:58Speaker 3: He was.
- 0:59Speaker 2: He was pretty good. I don't know one thing he said.
- 1:00Speaker 2: You couldn't understand him. It was in Spanish, but it
- 1:03Speaker 2: looks good. The moves, well, scenery was great, it was staging.
- 1:07Speaker 2: It was okay, probably not the best choice, but but
- 1:12Speaker 2: it's just it was worth it. Just to watch the
- 1:15Speaker 2: entire left wing, all the Democrats, all the media watched them.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Have to convince themselves to pretend that they're big Bad
- 1:22Speaker 2: Bunny fans, especially the older liberals and the older left
- 1:26Speaker 2: wing media people. They have to pretend they they're really
- 1:30Speaker 2: big fans of that bad Bunny boy. They love that
- 1:32Speaker 2: bad Bunny. If you grab their phone, let me see
- 1:36Speaker 2: your playlist. I don't see any Bad Bunny in there.
- 1:38Speaker 2: But they got to pretend they love bad Bunny because
- 1:40Speaker 2: this is the latest anti Trump thing they can do.
- 1:44Speaker 2: It was out protesting ice, now it's defending bad Bunny. Meantime,
- 1:49Speaker 2: Bad Bunny says, cashing in on this. Now, you gotta remember,
- 1:52Speaker 2: there were a lot of reasons you got to peel
- 1:54Speaker 2: away the layers of this. This Roger Goodell, who you
- 2:00Speaker 2: look at that guy and he's just look a very
- 2:02Speaker 2: unpleasant guy. He looks like the worst high school principle
- 2:06Speaker 2: you ever saw, Just a stern, unpleasant looking guy. He's
- 2:09Speaker 2: got no personality, absolutely humorless. And you'll wonder, how the
- 2:14Speaker 2: hell does this guy get eighty million a year or
- 2:16Speaker 2: whatever he gets to be the NFL commissioner. How does
- 2:19Speaker 2: he last so long? Because the owners love him. The
- 2:24Speaker 2: fans can't stand him. The owners love Roger Goodell. He
- 2:27Speaker 2: makes them a fortune. He's the best negotiator. He's a ruthless,
- 2:32Speaker 2: brutal negotiator with the networks. You put him in a
- 2:35Speaker 2: courtroom and there's an NFL lawsuit. He's great in a courtroom,
- 2:39Speaker 2: very skilled at all that stuff. And also he's a mastermind,
- 2:43Speaker 2: always scheming, scheming, scheming, scheming to make the NFL more money.
- 2:48Speaker 2: So they've been plotting the last few years. Couple of things.
- 2:52Speaker 2: One one of the reasons for bad Bunny Big big
- 2:56Speaker 2: big with a Hispanic community, and the Hispanic community tends
- 2:59Speaker 2: to like soccer and not really football. You got to
- 3:02Speaker 2: remember people that have come from somewhere else, they're big
- 3:06Speaker 2: soccer fans. You know, football is the number one most
- 3:09Speaker 2: popular sport in America. Around the world, it doesn't even
- 3:13Speaker 2: make the top ten. It's not that popular around the world.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So they make a fortune here in the US. But
- 3:19Speaker 2: Roger Goodell knows, and the NFL realizes to make more money.
- 3:23Speaker 2: To grow this thing, they got to go international. That's
- 3:25Speaker 2: why they start playing the games overseas every season. And
- 3:29Speaker 2: now they're going to try to appeal to other countries,
- 3:32Speaker 2: other languages. They want to make this league international, they
- 3:35Speaker 2: want to go worldwide. So that's one reason for a
- 3:37Speaker 2: bad bunny.
- 3:40Speaker 3: But just.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Forcing all these Democrats have to pretend they love bad Bunny,
- 3:46Speaker 2: it was worth it. Now. Glaine Maxwell testified yesterday she
- 3:52Speaker 2: took the fifth on everything because she's appealing her case.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's going to come up in court pretty soon, so
- 3:57Speaker 2: she used that as a justification for taking the fifth.
- 4:01Speaker 2: She well, here she is.
- 4:02Speaker 4: I would like to answer your question, but on the
- 4:04Speaker 4: Advice and Council, I respectfully declined to answer this question
- 4:09Speaker 4: and any related questions. My habeas petition is pending in
- 4:15Speaker 4: the Sudden District of New York. I therefore invoke my
- 4:18Speaker 4: right silence under the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Now I knew Ghlaine Maxwell. She sounds quite proper, but
- 4:28Speaker 2: in real life was a raunchy kind of a woman,
- 4:32Speaker 2: rough and tough and raunchy. She has told the committee,
- 4:36Speaker 2: she's implied that she could, well, she said it publicly,
- 4:40Speaker 2: that she could clear Donald Trump and Bill Clinton of
- 4:45Speaker 2: all wrongdoing. But she wants clemency. She does not want
- 4:49Speaker 2: to be a charge. She wants the charges dropped and now,
- 4:52Speaker 2: Donald Trump does not need clearing. There was never a
- 4:54Speaker 2: hint of him ever being involved in anything bad with Epstein. Billy.
- 4:59Speaker 2: In fact, he off Epstein twenty something years ago. He
- 5:02Speaker 2: just stopped talking to me. First, got whiff of Epstein
- 5:05Speaker 2: hitting on a young woman at mar Alago, threw him
- 5:07Speaker 2: out of the club, immediately distanced him, warned to everybody,
- 5:11Speaker 2: including me, back then, stay away from Epstein. And the
- 5:15Speaker 2: guy that was the police chief, Palm Beach, came out
- 5:20Speaker 2: yesterday and revealed he was the police chief in two
- 5:23Speaker 2: thousand and eight when they went after Epstein, and he
- 5:25Speaker 2: said one of the first calls he got was from
- 5:27Speaker 2: Donald Trump back in two thousand and eight, who said,
- 5:30Speaker 2: I'm glad you're going after Epstein. And he told him
- 5:33Speaker 2: about the problem he had with Epstein and mar A Lago,
- 5:35Speaker 2: and he said, everybody knows about this guy. You got
- 5:37Speaker 2: to go after him. And he encouraged him to take
- 5:39Speaker 2: a really good look at Gallayne Maxwell, saying she's evil,
- 5:43Speaker 2: she's the accomplice.
- 5:44Speaker 5: Look at her.
- 5:44Speaker 2: But he really encouraged the police to go after him.
- 5:47Speaker 2: So she wants to clemency. Now Bill Clinton has a
- 5:52Speaker 2: problem because he continued his relationship with Epstein right to
- 5:55Speaker 2: the very end. And Epstein was very the only relationship
- 6:00Speaker 2: Trump had with Epstein. He was a wealthy guy. He
- 6:02Speaker 2: showed up in Palm Beach, and when you were a
- 6:04Speaker 2: wealthy guy in Palm Beach, you joined mar A Lago.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And he started coming there, spending a ton of money
- 6:09Speaker 2: and going to the parties. And Trump would stand there
- 6:12Speaker 2: in the parties and talk to him, and that was
- 6:15Speaker 2: really about the whole relationship. A couple of times Trump
- 6:18Speaker 2: hitched a ride on Epstein's plane down to Palm Beach.
- 6:21Speaker 2: People used to do that back then. If you wanted
- 6:24Speaker 2: to go to Palm Beach for the weekend, you'd hit
- 6:26Speaker 2: your ride, sometimes on Trump's plane, Epstein's plane. People would
- 6:29Speaker 2: do that very often. But whenever the two times Trump
- 6:32Speaker 2: went on Epstein's plane, it was with his wife and daughter.
- 6:36Speaker 2: But Clinton is different. Clinton had a very, very very
- 6:40Speaker 2: close relationship with Epstein. Look at the White House visitors
- 6:43Speaker 2: logs when Clinton was there. Epstein's a regular visitor, sleeping
- 6:48Speaker 2: over at the White House. He's hundreds and hundreds of
- 6:51Speaker 2: times in the White House. It was Epstein who helped
- 6:53Speaker 2: form the Clinton Foundation, Clinton Global Initiative, one of the
- 6:57Speaker 2: reasons Epstein was able to ingratiate himself with so many
- 7:01Speaker 2: people was his check book. He had what they call
- 7:03Speaker 2: check's appeal. He would write massive checks, even the Palm
- 7:07Speaker 2: Beach Police Department. I give him credit for going after
- 7:09Speaker 2: him because Epstein was a big donor the Palm Beach.
- 7:13Speaker 2: It was just his weekend house, but he gave the
- 7:16Speaker 2: police department forty thousand to buy some piece of equipment
- 7:19Speaker 2: they needed, then later give him ninety thousand for by
- 7:22Speaker 2: another piece of equipment they needed, donated heavily to their
- 7:25Speaker 2: scholarship foundation. Just a big, big donor. He wrote checks
- 7:29Speaker 2: to everybody, celebrities, colleges, that's where they were all over them.
- 7:34Speaker 2: So here's comer. He's the chairman of the committee.
- 7:36Speaker 6: As expected, Laige Maxwell took the fifth and refused to
- 7:40Speaker 6: answer any questions.
- 7:42Speaker 2: This is obviously is very disappointing.
- 7:44Speaker 6: We had many questions to ask about the crime she
- 7:46Speaker 6: and Epstein committed.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she's asked.
- 7:49Speaker 3: For clemency from the president.
- 7:51Speaker 6: So I personally, for the reasons you just stated, don't
- 7:55Speaker 6: think she should be granted any type of immunity or clemency.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Yeah, and Donald Trump doesn't need his name cleared with Epstein,
- 8:02Speaker 2: so I don't think he's gonna give her any clemency. Comber.
- 8:04Speaker 2: We love Comber. He's a great guy, but he tends
- 8:07Speaker 2: to overpromise and underdeliver. As I always tell you, Republicans
- 8:11Speaker 2: are not good at hearings. They Democrats do hearings. They
- 8:15Speaker 2: wipe people out. Democrats when they have a hearing, they
- 8:18Speaker 2: tear into the person. Twenty of them just rip the
- 8:21Speaker 2: person apart like pitbulls. It's vicious. When the Republicans try
- 8:26Speaker 2: to do the same thing in the hearing, yeah, they
- 8:27Speaker 2: never quite get it done. It's a little harmless. He
- 8:30Speaker 2: let's get to Nancy Guthrie. The deadline has been missed. Well,
- 8:36Speaker 2: we don't know. The deadline was last night five o'clock
- 8:39Speaker 2: our time, but well actually it was five o'clock her time,
- 8:43Speaker 2: so it would be seven o'clock our time. The deadline passed.
- 8:46Speaker 2: We don't know if ransom was paid or not paid.
- 8:49Speaker 2: The Feds are now in charge of the investigation, and
- 8:52Speaker 2: the Feds are very good at keeping a lid on everything.
- 8:54Speaker 2: They keep everything quiet, so we don't know if the
- 8:58Speaker 2: ransom was paid. They asked for six million in bitcoin.
- 9:03Speaker 2: We do know there are new videos. It's Savannah Guthrie
- 9:07Speaker 2: put out.
- 9:07Speaker 7: No matter where you are, even if you're far from Tucson,
- 9:11Speaker 7: if you see anything, you hear anything, if there's anything
- 9:15Speaker 7: at all that seems strange to you that you report
- 9:20Speaker 7: to law enforcement.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess she's talking about neighbors. Anybody in the neighborhood.
- 9:24Speaker 2: You know, people that have been there, the reporters, the
- 9:27Speaker 2: people covering the situation. They've been to Nancy Guthrie's house.
- 9:31Speaker 2: They've been outside there. They tell me it's incredibly dark.
- 9:35Speaker 2: You know, it's out in the desert. There's no street lights.
- 9:37Speaker 2: It's unbelievably dark. You can't see a thing around when
- 9:41Speaker 2: you look around in the streets there.
- 9:42Speaker 7: We believe our mom is still out there.
- 9:47Speaker 3: We need your help.
- 9:51Speaker 7: Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock trying to
- 9:55Speaker 7: bring her home, trying to find her. She was taken
- 9:59Speaker 7: and we don't know where, and we need your help.
- 10:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Now, they asked for six million in bitcoin. Now here's
- 10:08Speaker 2: the thing. A lot of people don't know this, but bitcoin,
- 10:12Speaker 2: it is traceable. It can be traced. In fact, if
- 10:16Speaker 2: you got bitcoin stuck, it may take a little drop
- 10:18Speaker 2: pretty soon because as this case, unfolds. If they're able
- 10:22Speaker 2: to track down the criminals and people realize you can
- 10:25Speaker 2: be tracked through bitcoin, that's going to cause them a
- 10:28Speaker 2: little lack of sales because a lot of criminals, drug dealers,
- 10:31Speaker 2: they love to use bitcoin because they think it's totally untraceable.
- 10:36Speaker 2: But the criminal, if it's the real criminal in the note,
- 10:40Speaker 2: did give an exact bitcoin address. Now, what they'll often
- 10:44Speaker 2: do in that case is just somebody will send a
- 10:46Speaker 2: little money to that address, just a little amount to
- 10:49Speaker 2: that bitcoin address, and then there's ways of tracking it
- 10:52Speaker 2: as it goes through the blockchain, and you send a
- 10:56Speaker 2: small amount to that crypto wallet and you can sort
- 10:58Speaker 2: of see where it lands. You're closer and closer, and
- 11:02Speaker 2: the local sheriff and the local police probably can't do this,
- 11:05Speaker 2: but the Feds are really good at tracing this down.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Cryptocurrency is not untraceable. There is data that can be
- 11:14Speaker 2: scraped from just a simple transaction that can yield a
- 11:17Speaker 2: lot of information, And there have been cases where they
- 11:21Speaker 2: have tracked somebody through crypto. It can be done. There's
- 11:26Speaker 2: in the FEDS, there's a real experts on blockchain forensic
- 11:30Speaker 2: They can trace all the blocks that generate each and
- 11:33Speaker 2: every transaction. They can actually you see what you send
- 11:36Speaker 2: a code to someone one wallet to another. But when
- 11:39Speaker 2: you send a code, you know things are in that code.
- 11:45Speaker 2: There's our ways, there are ways to track it, so
- 11:47Speaker 2: this could be interesting.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Now.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Savannah Guthrie, of course, immediately flew out there to Tucson
- 11:54Speaker 2: and stayed with the relatives in their house. But apparently
- 11:57Speaker 2: reporters are all over the house. They're all over the
- 12:00Speaker 2: Nancy Guthrie house, They're all over the daughter's house and
- 12:04Speaker 2: the Guthrie's. Savannah and her family were all staying in
- 12:07Speaker 2: this one house, but it was surrounded by reporters, so
- 12:10Speaker 2: they have temporarily rented. Savannah Guthrie rented a one point
- 12:15Speaker 2: two million dollar mansion. This house is in a guarded gatehouse,
- 12:20Speaker 2: a gated community. Nobody can get in there, and it's
- 12:23Speaker 2: located in the community where you can't even see it
- 12:25Speaker 2: from the street. So it gives them some privacy, gives
- 12:29Speaker 2: them some distance from them and the news crews all
- 12:32Speaker 2: over the streets. We'll see what develops later today. What else, Hey,
- 12:37Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, who would be the best governor for New York.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman would be the perfect governor for New York.
- 12:42Speaker 2: He's a governor. Now, that's what a county executive is
- 12:45Speaker 2: in Nassau County, best run, safest county in America. So
- 12:50Speaker 2: he has to pick a running mate, and he just did.
- 12:53Speaker 2: He picked a running mate yesterday. They're having the convention
- 12:56Speaker 2: right now. But he's picked Madison County Sheriff Hood twenty
- 13:02Speaker 2: two years in the Syracuse Police Department, Blakeman courses from
- 13:05Speaker 2: around here. You want the other half of the ticket
- 13:08Speaker 2: to be an upstate guy. Hood a great resume. Father
- 13:12Speaker 2: of Ie serves as vice president of the New York
- 13:15Speaker 2: State Sheriff's Association, chairman of the National Sheriff's Association. So
- 13:21Speaker 2: now tomorrow's the nomination, the actual nomination. They have a
- 13:24Speaker 2: convention for like three days.
- 13:26Speaker 3: You know.
- 13:27Speaker 2: It's a Republican convention every year. This is like the
- 13:28Speaker 2: state Republican Convention being held in Garden City. They're all
- 13:33Speaker 2: at the Garden City Hotel right now. And Garden City
- 13:37Speaker 2: is a beautiful place, beautiful one of the nicest towns
- 13:39Speaker 2: in Long Island. All kinds of stuff opening there lately.
- 13:42Speaker 2: There's a new I of our Own supermarket. There's a
- 13:45Speaker 2: Tony's Tacos, which is all over Long Island, just open there.
- 13:48Speaker 2: But tomorrow they'll nominate Blakeman at about this time tomorrow,
- 13:53Speaker 2: and then they got some other races. They're going to
- 13:55Speaker 2: nominate Joseph Fernandez, candidate for state Controller. And then oh,
- 14:01Speaker 2: the GOP candidate. There's going to be a Republican candidate
- 14:05Speaker 2: to take on Letitia James, the sleazy, awful Attorney General.
- 14:09Speaker 2: So this will be former federal prosecutor Saritha. Oh good, well,
- 14:15Speaker 2: you're gonna have a little trouble pronouncing this last name.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Comma to Reddy. I think it is all right, I said,
- 14:20Speaker 2: But she's she's trying to get the seat. There's a
- 14:24Speaker 2: little battle there between two GOP. But you want to
- 14:27Speaker 2: get riddle Letitia James this year, that would be a great,
- 14:31Speaker 2: great thing to do. Hey, Cardinal Dolan has left Saint Patrick's.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But you know he's got an apartment now in New
- 14:38Speaker 2: York City. It's in a parish in murray Hill, but
- 14:42Speaker 2: it's a very nice apartment. He'll be living there. He's
- 14:44Speaker 2: not leaving New York. He'll be living here and he's
- 14:47Speaker 2: gonna take various jobs. One was announced yesterday he will
- 14:51Speaker 2: be the NYPD chaplain. There are a couple of them,
- 14:54Speaker 2: but he'll be I guess the head chaplain. The NYPD
- 14:56Speaker 2: chaplain is a great job taking care of our are
- 15:00Speaker 2: men and women in law enforcement. That's one thing he'll
- 15:03Speaker 2: be doing. He'll be uh in this parish where they
- 15:04Speaker 2: gave him a beautiful apartment. He'll be holding services there
- 15:08Speaker 2: and apparently other parishes. So you'll be able to on
- 15:12Speaker 2: a Sunday go see Cardinal Dolan. That's great news. Ronald Hicks,
- 15:17Speaker 2: who took over, had his installation on Friday, first time ever.
- 15:23Speaker 2: The mayor didn't show up. That's mom, Donnie. He didn't
- 15:27Speaker 2: show up. But you know he's I wouldn't think he's
- 15:29Speaker 2: too religious a guy, I don't know. He's a socialist,
- 15:32Speaker 2: as he loves to say.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I was elected as a democratic socialist, and I will
- 15:36Speaker 1: govern as a democratic socialist. I will not abandon my
- 15:47Speaker 1: principles for fear of being deemed radical.
- 15:50Speaker 2: Well, that's great, you're socialist. Fortunately, got you picked the
- 15:53Speaker 2: wrong city. You get elected. This is the capitalism capital
- 15:56Speaker 2: of the world. It's like, if you hate cars, you
- 16:00Speaker 2: want to ban cars, you can't be the mayor of Detroit.
- 16:03Speaker 2: It doesn't make any sense. So this is the Wall
- 16:05Speaker 2: Street is our main industry, capitalism, finance? And is he
- 16:09Speaker 2: a socialist? Well, they asked Bill Maher.
- 16:11Speaker 6: Democrats seem to be having this debate whether or not
- 16:14Speaker 6: mayor Mom Donnie is a socialist or a democratic socialist.
- 16:18Speaker 6: Let me settle it. He's a straight up communist. How
- 16:22Speaker 6: do I know this? Well, I'm reading between the lines
- 16:26Speaker 6: when one of his major advisors says, elect more communists,
- 16:34Speaker 6: which is fine, it's fine. It's a belief system. He's
- 16:38Speaker 6: allowed to believe it and people are allowed to vote
- 16:41Speaker 6: for it. But if liberals deny it, like he's just
- 16:44Speaker 6: going through a goth phase, they're going to lose more elections.
- 16:49Speaker 6: This is not a communist country.
- 16:51Speaker 2: No, And how do you get a Mom Donnie, Well,
- 16:55Speaker 2: you send a couple of generations to woke left wing,
- 16:59Speaker 2: a crazy college. All of our universities, colleges are now
- 17:02Speaker 2: in doctrination centers and they come out thinking like Mom Donnie.
- 17:06Speaker 2: And after about twenty years of that stuff, you get
- 17:08Speaker 2: enough to vote in a mayor like that. Hey, we'll
- 17:11Speaker 2: take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 17:15Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 17:19Speaker 2: zero seven ten.
- 17:20Speaker 7: If you're listening to Mark on the ico on woor.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 17:30Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Jacob
- 17:32Speaker 2: in Denver, Colorado. Jacob, how you doing Hi?
- 17:37Speaker 8: I think there's a case in front of the Supreme
- 17:39Speaker 8: Court whether or not the states have to clean up
- 17:42Speaker 8: their voter rolls. Yeah, and if the Supreme Court says yes,
- 17:45Speaker 8: you do have to clean up your voter rolls, what
- 17:48Speaker 8: happened to all this gerimandering? Will they have to do
- 17:51Speaker 8: it over again or they just let it go?
- 17:54Speaker 2: No, well they can't to do it over again anyway.
- 17:56Speaker 2: You don't have time for the midterms, but you got
- 17:59Speaker 2: to do it before twenty eight and clean up all this.
- 18:01Speaker 8: Okay, but you're gonna lose. You're gonna lose all these votes.
- 18:04Speaker 3: You know.
- 18:05Speaker 8: If you clean up your voteroals, you're gonna lose Democrats,
- 18:07Speaker 8: You're gonna lose Republicans. You will have to do them.
- 18:10Speaker 2: You only clean up the bad votes, the suspicious ones.
- 18:13Speaker 2: You'll lose more Democrats than Republicans. Hey, Jacob, we've had
- 18:17Speaker 2: snow here for a few days and it's driving us nuts.
- 18:20Speaker 2: You're in Denver, you have snow, like all went right?
- 18:22Speaker 2: How much snow do you have there?
- 18:24Speaker 8: We have absolutely none. We have had no in two months.
- 18:28Speaker 8: Our average temperature is sixty degrees what what's happening. What's
- 18:32Speaker 8: happening is is there's a high planted right over Denver,
- 18:35Speaker 8: well right over Colorado. So the jet stream is pushing
- 18:38Speaker 8: all the cold that would normally go over Denver to
- 18:40Speaker 8: New York and Detroit and all that.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Thanks a lot. Yeah, this is all wrong, it's not
- 18:45Speaker 2: not right.
- 18:46Speaker 8: But but you know, I remember, I remember in twenty ten,
- 18:50Speaker 8: was it December twenty ten? There was a there was
- 18:52Speaker 8: a northeaster and the garbage piled up in Brooklyn ten
- 18:56Speaker 8: feet high. Also, so this is really nothing new to
- 18:59Speaker 8: you guys.
- 19:00Speaker 2: All right, well that's a good point we got. All right,
- 19:02Speaker 2: good call, Jacob, Thanks for calling. Isn't that that's just
- 19:05Speaker 2: wrong that we got all this snow? Denver has no snow.
- 19:07Speaker 2: You know, this past weekend it was so unbelievably cold
- 19:11Speaker 2: in New York. It was actually about ten degrees colder
- 19:14Speaker 2: in New York City than Antarctica. That's an actual fact.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Let's go to uh Rocco in Rockland County, Rocco, How
- 19:21Speaker 2: you doing.
- 19:22Speaker 9: Doing great, Paisano Marco. The bottom line is he's a mierda.
- 19:27Speaker 9: That's what madammi is. He the damn communist? And what's
- 19:29Speaker 9: he going to do about the hell that New York City,
- 19:32Speaker 9: the richest city in the world, doesn't have a retirement
- 19:35Speaker 9: home for American veterans because he doesn't care. He didn't
- 19:38Speaker 9: show up at the installation Licago. He denounced Christopher Clubs.
- 19:42Speaker 9: Christopher Cumbas was not his flavor. He broke the love
- 19:44Speaker 9: of Christ to the New world. He is an anti Semitic,
- 19:47Speaker 9: anti catholosis. He stinks, and New York's getting what they deserved.
- 19:52Speaker 9: But putting that rat in office.
- 19:54Speaker 2: All right, thanks for coding Helly. We survived eight years
- 19:56Speaker 2: at Doblasio. We'll survive four years of this guy. Let's
- 19:59Speaker 2: go to Joe and Amityville. Joe, how you doing?
- 20:03Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 20:03Speaker 3: You doing? Mark? You got to love this country. We
- 20:05Speaker 3: give a fly off to the janniar who couldn't do
- 20:08Speaker 3: nothing of but Gravisquatch.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Listen to his lyrics.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Are you talking about bad Bunny?
- 20:14Speaker 5: Yeah, bad Bunny? Give him a fly?
- 20:17Speaker 2: Nice's okay, that's not bad Bunny's fault. It's just this
- 20:20Speaker 2: is the latest left wing thing. They're pretending that they're
- 20:22Speaker 2: Bad Bunny fans. There, even these sixty two year old
- 20:26Speaker 2: left wing they're defending Bad Bunny. They're convincing themselves they
- 20:29Speaker 2: love Bad Bunny. They've never a million years had him
- 20:33Speaker 2: in their playlist. They never listened to them. Let's go
- 20:36Speaker 2: to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Good morning, Mark, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning Mara. What
- 20:41Speaker 5: about that speech Mondamie gave yesterday where he kept on
- 20:46Speaker 5: quoting the Koran and Allah? I mean, what was he
- 20:51Speaker 5: speaking to a microphone into a minaret to, you know,
- 20:55Speaker 5: called the faithful the prayer?
- 20:57Speaker 9: Mark?
- 20:58Speaker 5: What if the other average news of corruption that the
- 21:03Speaker 5: government needs to look at. We all heard about Minnesota
- 21:07Speaker 5: the corruption of the daycare centers, and now in California,
- 21:14Speaker 5: the hospice centers and the nursing homes. The government has
- 21:17Speaker 5: to look at the Medicaid program where you could hire
- 21:22Speaker 5: anybody you want to be your homemade attendant. Now, how
- 21:28Speaker 5: does the government know if that person is badging and
- 21:32Speaker 5: if they're really working all their hours that they claim
- 21:36Speaker 5: they are. In the past, the homemade attendants. And I
- 21:39Speaker 5: know because my aunt when she was old, she had
- 21:42Speaker 5: when we have to go for the city, the city
- 21:44Speaker 5: would screen these people to see if they weren't criminals, this, that,
- 21:48Speaker 5: and the other, that they were on the up and up.
- 21:51Speaker 5: I know a woman who's a homemade attendant for a
- 21:54Speaker 5: mother who lives in the east village. You mean to say,
- 21:58Speaker 5: the mother's going to rat on the door to if
- 22:00Speaker 5: the door.
- 22:01Speaker 2: That's a good point, Vincent. You're right, that's the problem.
- 22:03Speaker 2: That's how you get all this government fraud, wasting, bloating.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Now you can make anybody your homemade, just declare them
- 22:08Speaker 2: that and start packing.
- 22:09Speaker 5: What if is the mother gonna rat the door around
- 22:12Speaker 5: if she says she built medicaid for forty hours of
- 22:17Speaker 5: service and she was only at a mother's house for five.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Yeah, well you're absolutely right, good call, Vincent. That's again
- 22:24Speaker 2: this is how this stuff starts, the daycare fraud to
- 22:27Speaker 2: medicaid fraud. All of a sudden, they just just send
- 22:30Speaker 2: money flying out to everybody. There's no checks, no system,
- 22:33Speaker 2: no balances. No Hey, when we come back the dean himself,
- 22:37Speaker 2: Ed Rollins, we'll talk to him next. What's gonna happen
- 22:39Speaker 2: in the midterms. Can a Republican win the governor's race
- 22:42Speaker 2: in New York State? We'll get to that and a
- 22:44Speaker 2: lot more questions coming up next on seven to ten WR.
- 22:48Speaker 1: It's more more Mark Simone On sevent ten WR.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Well, let's talk to the Dean himself. Rollins, the best
- 23:00Speaker 2: political analyst out there. Nobody's run more campaigns, worked in
- 23:03Speaker 2: more white houses, and great to add them with us,
- 23:06Speaker 2: Ed Rollins.
- 23:07Speaker 9: How you doing, good morning, Mark, Are you here?
- 23:09Speaker 2: I'm good? So hey. Bruce Blakeman will be nominated tomorrow
- 23:13Speaker 2: as the Republican candidate for governor. Big endorsement today from
- 23:17Speaker 2: the New York Post. But how easy? How tough is
- 23:20Speaker 2: it for a Republican to win the governor's race in
- 23:22Speaker 2: New York?
- 23:23Speaker 3: Now, well, it's tough. But Bruce is a great candidate,
- 23:26Speaker 3: and in my senses, he comes from the right area
- 23:28Speaker 3: of the state. He's got a great record, He's as
- 23:31Speaker 3: stronger candidate as we could have in New York. I
- 23:35Speaker 3: think we're a very weak mayor. I mean we're not mayor,
- 23:38Speaker 3: big governor. Yeah, So you know, I don't think at
- 23:41Speaker 3: this point in time you can see to the past history.
- 23:44Speaker 3: What's going to happen here. So he can he raise
- 23:47Speaker 3: the money? Can he campaign effectively? Yes? So I think
- 23:50Speaker 3: the ped race is still still to watch very closely.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Yeah, you've been in this game a while. How did
- 23:55Speaker 2: we get to this world where you could have the
- 23:57Speaker 2: worst record in the world, you absolutely stink like gas
- 24:00Speaker 2: Newsom or whoever, and you can run again. How does
- 24:03Speaker 2: this happen nowadays?
- 24:06Speaker 3: Well, there's so much clutter in the media today that
- 24:10Speaker 3: it's hard to people make so many impressions that are
- 24:15Speaker 3: out there. It's like the president. The president's got so
- 24:17Speaker 3: much going on, but it's hard to focus on two
- 24:20Speaker 3: or three things. And in a campaign like this, you
- 24:23Speaker 3: need a campaign on a few things. You've got to say,
- 24:25Speaker 3: here's what she's done that basically have affected your life badly,
- 24:30Speaker 3: and keep hammering on that issue. Don't talk about thirty
- 24:32Speaker 3: five issues. And the same way the democrats. Democrats keep
- 24:35Speaker 3: talking about we've got to have all these policy papers
- 24:37Speaker 3: and what have you. At at the end of the day,
- 24:39Speaker 3: policy papers are not going to be any for them.
- 24:41Speaker 3: What's going to do something that they're going to make
- 24:43Speaker 3: their case against against the president of the president's party. Yeah,
- 24:47Speaker 3: and as far as the president too, much clutter, too
- 24:50Speaker 3: much media.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Yeah, Now, the economy, if you look at the actual numbers,
- 24:54Speaker 2: the math, the economy is doing well, it's headed in
- 24:57Speaker 2: the right direction. Everything's good. But what does the president
- 24:59Speaker 2: do it needs to do to get better messaging about that?
- 25:02Speaker 3: Well, he needs he needs to basically focus himself on
- 25:05Speaker 3: the message. You know, he sees the one dragging the message.
- 25:07Speaker 3: And all the foreign policy stuff that he's doing certainly
- 25:11Speaker 3: may be important, but it's not important to the voters
- 25:14Speaker 3: out there that are basically worrying about healthcare and worrying
- 25:17Speaker 3: about food prices and housing prices, what have you. So
- 25:21Speaker 3: I would argue it now that we're in the in
- 25:23Speaker 3: the actual election year, the president needs to spend his
- 25:27Speaker 3: time and energy on these issues at matative voters. He's
- 25:30Speaker 3: got strong polsters, get the posters, give them three or
- 25:33Speaker 3: four things he should be talking about, and talk about
- 25:35Speaker 3: those things. You know. I think the key thing here is,
- 25:39Speaker 3: you know, there's there's a lot of crisises in the world,
- 25:41Speaker 3: and the president wants to solve those crisises, and it's
- 25:43Speaker 3: done a pretty effective job and all that, but most
- 25:46Speaker 3: people out there aren't worried about Iran as much as
- 25:49Speaker 3: they're worried about, you know, what's happening in Westchester County
- 25:52Speaker 3: or Suffolk County or across the country.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Well, that's interesting what you said about clutter. But as
- 25:59Speaker 2: President Trump doing a great job. But he's the king
- 26:02Speaker 2: of clutter. If you watch a press conference of speech
- 26:04Speaker 2: and there's four thousand things he's working on at once,
- 26:06Speaker 2: so and you can't cure him with that, can you.
- 26:10Speaker 2: That's always the way.
- 26:11Speaker 3: You can't cure him that. One of the concerns I
- 26:13Speaker 3: have is having another the White House political director and
- 26:15Speaker 3: have one Congressional committee. The intend now is to put
- 26:20Speaker 3: him out and have him campaign and try and drive
- 26:22Speaker 3: out the vote. Only votes when he's on the pallet.
- 26:26Speaker 3: I would just argue, the more you move around the country,
- 26:28Speaker 3: the less likely he can stay on message. And you know,
- 26:33Speaker 3: he needs to stay in the White House. He needs
- 26:35Speaker 3: to go out maybe ten or twenty times. He told
- 26:38Speaker 3: him in the campaign. But if they have him out
- 26:40Speaker 3: there three or four days a week, you know he
- 26:43Speaker 3: likes the campaign. But at the end of the day,
- 26:46Speaker 3: you've got priority messages going out. We needs to stay
- 26:48Speaker 3: in that White House. It hit the big message places
- 26:52Speaker 3: and be very consistent and quit in selfing people. You know,
- 26:56Speaker 3: he needs to quit make cracks about his opponents. You know,
- 27:00Speaker 3: Joe Biden is gone. But we'll die on the beach. Uh.
- 27:04Speaker 3: You know, to the end of the day. We you
- 27:08Speaker 3: can't blame everything on him at this point in time
- 27:09Speaker 3: because always gonna listen, this is Trump's administration. His biggest problem.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Has got a very narrow majority of the House. Uh,
- 27:16Speaker 3: and it does that the Senate doesn't have anything. So yeah,
- 27:20Speaker 3: you know, to to seat you know, this week he's
- 27:23Speaker 3: got a two seat margin. He's got to get every
- 27:25Speaker 3: member they're voting for him on these issues. And we
- 27:27Speaker 3: now have a big ice debate on on funding and
- 27:31Speaker 3: that's very important.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Uh.
- 27:33Speaker 3: You know, you drive this Congress through, uh through a
- 27:37Speaker 3: budget fight for another two or three weeks. Here again,
- 27:40Speaker 3: people are distracted. People want want order.
- 27:44Speaker 2: But you know there's this whole anti ice feeling of
- 27:46Speaker 2: the Democrats. But you know, November is a long way away.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Democrats always overplay their hand. They always go too far.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Don't you think they'll do that this time? By by
- 27:56Speaker 2: election time, I don't know, we'll see.
- 27:58Speaker 3: You know, we don't have we don't have a full year.
- 28:01Speaker 3: You know, the reality is three or four months from now.
- 28:04Speaker 3: These campaigns got to be running a hundred hundred degrees
- 28:08Speaker 3: forward and the Congress is not gonna want to go
- 28:12Speaker 3: back here. You've got forty four members Congress that are
- 28:18Speaker 3: Democrats have targeted forty four. Those forty four guys and
- 28:21Speaker 3: gals are gonna have to be home worrying about what
- 28:24Speaker 3: their constituous are saying. And if you're dragged here to
- 28:27Speaker 3: fight these stupid battles, we're not gonna win. Uh. You know,
- 28:31Speaker 3: at the end of the day, people will get frustrated. Yeah,
- 28:35Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying is my argument is we
- 28:38Speaker 3: don't we don't have a year. Time flies very quickly here,
- 28:41Speaker 3: you know, big expensive races, and you got to you
- 28:44Speaker 3: gotta be focusing on everything that rights to district right now.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, look at some of these Congress people now, from
- 28:51Speaker 2: King Jeffries to elon Omar to AOC to Jasmine Kracher.
- 28:56Speaker 2: These are some real low IQ people. Did you ever
- 28:59Speaker 2: see that before where we had those people go well, no,
- 29:04Speaker 2: but they.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Are pretty safe districts though, so they can they can
- 29:07Speaker 3: do and say what they want. You know, the key
- 29:10Speaker 3: thing here is we don't we don't have There'll be
- 29:13Speaker 3: a lot of seats. They'll talk about being competitive. It
- 29:15Speaker 3: won't be competitive, it's it's really twenty five seats total
- 29:19Speaker 3: that they're going to be competitive on both sides. They'll
- 29:21Speaker 3: argue forty four Democrats that could be defeated, thirty five
- 29:26Speaker 3: Republicans can to be defeated. In the reality where we
- 29:28Speaker 3: switch those numbers, reality is, you know, this comes down
- 29:33Speaker 3: to ten fifteen seats, and you've got to make all
- 29:35Speaker 3: your efforts there.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yea, Hey, voter I d Democrats opposing that blocking that
- 29:42Speaker 2: That looks pretty bad on their part, doesn't it.
- 29:45Speaker 3: It does. But you know, the there's so much confusion
- 29:48Speaker 3: on voting. I mean, the key thing is get your
- 29:51Speaker 3: voter out, whatever it takes to get them out, and
- 29:55Speaker 3: don't argue about the method of voting, argue about who's
- 29:57Speaker 3: going to vote. And the president can do that. But
- 30:00Speaker 3: again I would just argue read in the cabinet, every
- 30:03Speaker 3: the vice president need to be out there saying the
- 30:06Speaker 3: same thing. The economy is the economy. It's the economy. Uh,
- 30:10Speaker 3: And that's that's what the public wants to hear.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, in New York City, Mom, Donnie Uh, probably
- 30:17Speaker 2: the worst person we could have for mayor. But he
- 30:20Speaker 2: seems very busy with photo ops and press conferences and
- 30:23Speaker 2: the public stuff and not really doing any work. That's
- 30:26Speaker 2: a good thing. But you think we'll get through these
- 30:28Speaker 2: four years of mom Donnie.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Well, they get through it one way or the other.
- 30:32Speaker 3: It's what kind of shape. If his policy is getting implemented,
- 30:36Speaker 3: we'll have a very bad state of affairs in New
- 30:39Speaker 3: York in four years. But so far, I think he's
- 30:42Speaker 3: he's more of a personality than he is effective mayor.
- 30:45Speaker 3: And the people that he's put in are, to Blasio,
- 30:47Speaker 3: people who are not very effective and I think to
- 30:49Speaker 3: a certain extent and are very dangerous. And you've got
- 30:52Speaker 3: to make this nation's financial capital, communications capital, and you've
- 30:56Speaker 3: got to make the city run and run effectively. I
- 30:58Speaker 3: don't I don't know that he's gonna be do that.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Yeah, all the more reason we need Bruce blake When
- 31:02Speaker 2: as governor. Just the counter, no question about Yeah, well
- 31:06Speaker 2: Ed Rollins, great stuff, Thanks for being with us. We'll
- 31:09Speaker 2: talk again soon, pleasure, all right, take care? Yea, Bruce
- 31:12Speaker 2: Blakeman will get the nomination tomorrow at the convention. A
- 31:17Speaker 2: big endorsement of him today New York Post. That's good news. Hey,
- 31:21Speaker 2: don't forget at noon today, every day twelve noon, Buck Sexton,
- 31:24Speaker 2: Clay Travis. You'll learn a lot. Listen to them every
- 31:27Speaker 2: day noon to three. Then at three o'clock you got
- 31:30Speaker 2: the most listened to radio show in America. Sean Hannity.
- 31:34Speaker 2: You got Jesse Kelly every night at six, and Jimmy
- 31:37Speaker 2: Fayala great show, very funny every night at nine o'clock.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Here on seven to ten. Wor mister New York Mark Simone,
- 31:46Speaker 2: you're the best seven wr Well, Hey, it's gonna be
- 31:53Speaker 2: about I don't know, thirty five thirty six degrees today.
- 31:56Speaker 2: That'll start melting the snow. Tomorrow it's going to be forty.
- 31:59Speaker 2: That'll really melt the snow. And then it's going to
- 32:01Speaker 2: stay in the upper thirties the rest of the week
- 32:04Speaker 2: and then back to forty on Saturday. So by the end,
- 32:07Speaker 2: by this weekend, the snow will be gone. It will melt. Now.
- 32:10Speaker 2: The only thing is there's a chance of snow or
- 32:14Speaker 2: rain Sunday, but it looks like it's going to be
- 32:17Speaker 2: near forty on Sunday, so that would make it rain.
- 32:19Speaker 2: As all this snow melts, you kind of wants some
- 32:21Speaker 2: rain to wash it all away. So that's good news.
- 32:25Speaker 2: You got a three day weekend coming up this weekend,
- 32:28Speaker 2: the President's Day. You have Valentine's Day Saturday night. You
- 32:31Speaker 2: got President's Day on Monday, so you got a three
- 32:34Speaker 2: day weekend coming up. Spring training begins today. That's good news.
- 32:38Speaker 2: We're just a few weeks away from spring, it's not
- 32:41Speaker 2: far away. Let's see Dan Bongino. You know, he left.
- 32:45Speaker 2: He was the assistant director of the FBI. Quit, came
- 32:49Speaker 2: back here and started his podcast again. Just signed a
- 32:52Speaker 2: deal to rejoin Fox News. He'll be a Fox News contributor.
- 32:56Speaker 2: You'll see him all over there. Much better, much better.
- 32:59Speaker 2: It's much more fun to be on Fox News. It's
- 33:01Speaker 2: much better to be on radio TV. It's fun. It's
- 33:04Speaker 2: great then to go sit in a federal building in Washington,
- 33:07Speaker 2: d C. And work in the government. Anyway, we got
- 33:10Speaker 2: a lot to get to in the next hour. Bill
- 33:12Speaker 2: O'Reilly will be here. Hey, who was at the super Bowl?
- 33:15Speaker 2: He was at all the parties, all the events. He'll
- 33:17Speaker 2: give us the inside scoop on what went on out there,
- 33:21Speaker 2: and we'll get to that and a lot more. Just
- 33:23Speaker 2: to headmarks Simone here every day ten to noon on
- 33:27Speaker 2: seven to ten wo
