- 2:42After a thrilling 15 inning, 15 inning win over the Tigers, the
- 2:47Mariners advance to the ALCS, their first appearance since
- 2:512001. The Mariners won game one in
- 2:54Toronto 3 to 1, which featured a game tying home run from sixty
- 3:00home run hitter. The big dumper Cal rally game #2
- 3:05is in action as we speak, with the Mariners in the lead late in
- 3:10the game. The All Star Oh so the Mariners
- 3:13won so they're up to oh right now.
- 3:16All Star pitcher Brian Wu made the Mariners roster after being
- 3:20out for an extended period of time at the end of the season
- 3:24with a pectoral injury, while the Blue Jays shortstop Beau
- 3:28Bichette was still left off the roster, unable to recover enough
- 3:34from his sprained knee. The Brewers advanced to the NLCS
- 3:38with A31 win over the Cubs in game #5 making their first NLCS
- 3:44appearance since 2018. The Brewers were six and O
- 3:49versus the Dodgers during the regular season, the only
- 3:52National League team they didn't beat.
- 3:55The Dodgers are a -. 200 or better favorites to win the
- 4:00series despite the lack of regular season success.
- 4:04ESP NS Jeff Passan reports that the gap in payroll between the
- 4:09Brewers and the Dodgers is the largest in the luxury tax era at
- 4:14$106 million. Game 1 of this series begins
- 4:20tonight with Blake Snell starting for the Dodgers and
- 4:25Aaron Ashby starting for the Brewers.
- 4:28Well, let's go into now. The Mariners up to O and is
- 4:32expected to run away with the American League Championship
- 4:36and, and honestly, the Mariners deserve it.
- 4:39The Mariners to me with the I believe the best catcher in
- 4:43baseball we've seen in the last three years when it comes to
- 4:46power defense and everything that he does.
- 4:49I Molina's the closest thing I can compare rally to now.
- 4:53Molina didn't have the power Rally has, but Molina was as
- 4:56good defensively and can hit average just like Raleigh.
- 5:01It to me the importance of just the lineup and and the extended
- 5:05lineup the Mariners have with the power that they have in the
- 5:08middle of the lineup with Rodriguez and Raleigh.
- 5:11This team might be the best team out of all the teams that made
- 5:15it to the playoffs that could beat the Dodgers.
- 5:17It's crazy to say that because I'm a Yankee fan and the Yankees
- 5:21have Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge, who's the best player in
- 5:23baseball. I still think that if there's a
- 5:26team that can beat the Dodgers in A7 game series, it would be
- 5:30the Mariners. The Mariners all season long,
- 5:33rotation or not, up and down this rotation has been
- 5:37consistent. They they have a good bullpen,
- 5:40they've got power pitchers in their bullpen.
- 5:42They extended some of their starting pitchers to the bullpen
- 5:46for six or fifth inning pitching if they needed it or if they
- 5:50were looking to get that in the playoffs.
- 5:53I think the depth that the Mariners have is, is substantial
- 5:56and, and you can see that against the Blue Jays.
- 5:59The Blue Jays are not a good team.
- 6:01I'm sorry. They beat the Yankees and I'm I
- 6:03know Java's making a face and he could say what he's got his own
- 6:07opinion. I never thought that the Blue
- 6:09Jays were a good team all season long.
- 6:11I I really didn't. They they did have the best
- 6:14record in the American League. They did win the American League
- 6:16East, but they had a lot of flaws.
- 6:19They did. And when you look at their
- 6:21schedule all season long, their schedule got easier in the
- 6:26middle of the year when after the All Star break, their
- 6:30schedule for the for the first month and 1/2 was as easy as any
- 6:33team in baseball. And the Yankees had one of the
- 6:37hardest schedules after the All Star break.
- 6:40If the Yankees had the same schedule as the Blue Jays, the
- 6:42Blue Jays would have never won the division.
- 6:44If the Blue Jays never would have won the division, the Blue
- 6:47Jays don't beat the Yankees. That's that's my opinion.
- 6:51Now, I'm not saying that Guerrero's not a great player.
- 6:54I'm not saying that this team is not a good overall team.
- 6:58I just don't think they're as good as people think they are.
- 7:01Beau Bouchette, who is their best player besides Guerrero, is
- 7:04not has not been on this roster. Who's their second best hitter
- 7:07on this roster? Speedy.
- 7:09Could you even name them? Varso.
- 7:11Well, the playoffs or overall? Overall, who's the second best
- 7:16player besides Beau Bouchette that you could trust in this
- 7:19lineup? It'd.
- 7:20Probably be varso for me. Varsha OK, I.
- 7:23Mean Clement in the playoffs. But the fact.
- 7:27Is more of a slap hitter. But that but what I'm trying to
- 7:29say is if you look at the rosters right now, you look at
- 7:32the Dodgers, Varsha, where does he fit on that roster?
- 7:35I I mean, seriously, this is not a good roster.
- 7:39They're not even their pitching staff.
- 7:42Does your pitch, does that pitching staff really scare you?
- 7:44Come on guys. There's a bunch of like old like
- 7:4730 or 30. They don't scare you.
- 7:49They really don't. And that's why I thought when
- 7:52they beat the Yankees, the Yankees practically choked.
- 7:55They choked. They're pitching.
- 7:57The Yankees by far had the better pitching staff.
- 7:59It wasn't even close. But their pitchers did not pitch
- 8:02in that series except Cam Schlittler.
- 8:06And, and that was the problem. The youngster was the only one
- 8:08that showed up in that series. And again, everybody had
- 8:12something to blame of Aaron Boone.
- 8:14Who's going? Who's going to blame this
- 8:16catastrophical loss if they lose in four games against the
- 8:19Mariners? Are you going to blame
- 8:21Schneider? No, it's your offense that
- 8:22disappeared. And again, it's good pitching.
- 8:24But at the same time, this is they hit good pitching, they hit
- 8:27Freed. It was great in the regular
- 8:28season. They hit some of the good
- 8:29Yankees relievers in in that series.
- 8:31They did enough to do that. And they still just haven't
- 8:33carried over the identity. Springer had the home run to
- 8:35start the series and you're like, OK, is this going to be
- 8:37the same offensive outburst you've seen?
- 8:39I just don't know if it was going to keep up.
- 8:41And like you were saying, Errol, they have so much depth, even
- 8:43losing Woo in that rotation, Logan, Logan Gilbert.
- 8:47Logan Gilbert got hurt for a little while and he's pitched
- 8:49like he's pitched in two different games so far after
- 8:51pitching that long 15 inning marathon against the against the
- 8:55Tigers. And then you have you have
- 8:57Castillo and etcetera and a good bullpen too.
- 9:00And they finally had the lineup depth they didn't have in
- 9:02previous years. They were so close at making the
- 9:04playoffs for a while and now you're seeing how good they can
- 9:06really be. Yeah, I it's Brian Moo was I
- 9:10mean, you don't get to see a lot of these West Coast guys just
- 9:13because the time that they're starting everybody on the East
- 9:16Coast is kind of asleep. So there there's a lot of that.
- 9:18But the man it just he was consistent all year, 6 innings
- 9:22for I think 25 or 26 starts, then had a couple hiccups, but
- 9:26you know, he was just crushed when he when he couldn't pitch
- 9:28and and came back And I just they, they have so many arms and
- 9:32and they can beat you so many ways.
- 9:35I mean, you know, Raleigh had like 1314 stolen bases.
- 9:39I mean, he threw they never they, they say there's never
- 9:41such a thing as a perfect throw from the catcher.
- 9:43Did you see his throw against the Tigers?
- 9:47Like you can't There's there's right into the guy's.
- 9:49Leg. And hats off to dingler too,
- 9:52from the Tigers because he made the exact same throw literally
- 9:55like in two innings later. And so it's just it's it's hard
- 9:59to see. And I I think you're right,
- 10:01Errol, that they can beat you so many ways defensively,
- 10:04offensively, pitching. And when it comes to the Blue
- 10:08Jays side of it, it's are they one-dimensional or they are they
- 10:12right now, you know, they're just kind of, you know, you got
- 10:15Clement who's going to put together great at bats.
- 10:17He doesn't, he's not going to bridge you.
- 10:18He's not going to scare you. Yeah.
- 10:19Is he going to be a pester? He's going to be like the little
- 10:21brother that just says I'm not touching you, I'm not touching
- 10:23you. And he's just going to have good
- 10:25at bats and just slap some stuff over.
- 10:27Yeah, VAR show is he's got some thump, but he's about the only
- 10:31other guy really. You know, Kirk's a great
- 10:33catcher, but you know, he'll run into something here and there.
- 10:36But I think you're right with just the depth of what the
- 10:39Mariners and how they can beat you is probably the closest that
- 10:44you're going to get. And it's just I thought they
- 10:47would have a little bit. And and This is why I think
- 10:49momentum comes into play because everybody's like, oh, they're
- 10:51going to have, you know, the 15 inning hangover, blah, blah,
- 10:53blah. No rest for the weary, right?
- 10:55They have no time to like, hey, sweet celebration.
- 10:58Boom, no peace out. We got to go and.
- 11:01So another. Country.
- 11:02Yeah, literally another country, but in it's I think that the
- 11:07home team to lose the first two games, they're three for 28 in
- 11:11this series. It it to come back and win.
- 11:14So they're in a good spot obviously going home and and
- 11:17that fan base is loud for the Mariners.
- 11:19So I just think depth wise, I think they're the they're the
- 11:23most complete to get to the Dodgers, but the Dodgers aren't
- 11:26going to have any Brewers are going to fight and claw.
- 11:28I love I love Murphy. Pat Murphy is fantastic.
- 11:32I love the dude. I think he is perfect for that
- 11:34team and his, you know, structure, his demeanor, the way
- 11:38that he gets and relates to the players.
- 11:40And obviously you're seeing it and, you know, I think this is
- 11:43going to be a really, really good series.
- 11:45And that, that one with the Mariners and Blue Jays, I, it
- 11:50was so funny because I'm calling people out.
- 11:52They're like, oh, Toronto's going to roll the M's.
- 11:55I don't know about that yet. That dude, he was, he was so
- 11:57excited too that I responded and then but I, I got nothing today,
- 12:01so. I think whatever this plays, I
- 12:04think that series is over. And as far as the Brewers are
- 12:06concerned, I, I do believe they'll claw and they're young
- 12:10and they have nothing to lose. But the Dodgers, the way they're
- 12:13playing right now on all cylinders, it's going to be.
- 12:16And and by the way, Ohtani has not played well in the playoffs.
- 12:19It really has not been good. It wasn't great the second
- 12:20series. Think about it, if Otani's not
- 12:23playing at the top level and they're still winning, that is
- 12:25scary because they're absolutely running through people and Otani
- 12:30is has no part of it. So that's the scary part part
- 12:34for as far as I'm concerned, when it comes to looking at that
- 12:37series with the Brewers, if Otani hits at all in that
- 12:40series, do the the Brewers really have a chance?
- 12:43No, I I don't think so. Then you got Mookie, who didn't
- 12:45really hit in the regular season.
- 12:47Now going off like. Did you, did you guys see this
- 12:50stat too? Like he's obviously played for
- 12:52some really good teams and hit behind some really good players.
- 12:56When it's like Otani Ortiz or whatever, like when they
- 12:59intentionally walk him to get to him, he's hitting over 500.
- 13:02Wow, interesting. So I'm like what like fate take
- 13:05your chances like and we're not talking like a small sample size
- 13:08like 6. We're talking like in the I
- 13:10think it's 21 at bats when there's been intention to walk
- 13:14with him. And so it's when you have guys
- 13:17like that and Otani's going to bridge you.
- 13:19I think he's got one or two homers, but other than that, he
- 13:22really hasn't done much. I, I still, I think the coolest
- 13:25story for me is, is watching Sasaki and, and what he's been
- 13:29able to do and never thrown out of the pen and then goes and is
- 13:32lights out. And it's it's always fun to see
- 13:35for me when when guys get put new, new positions in the game
- 13:39and obviously magnified by 10, being in the playoffs and he
- 13:42goes out and just does his, does his.
- 13:44Thing. Well, now they have the Sasaki
- 13:45rules. You know Sasaki, Sasaki rules.
- 13:50Yeah, they can. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 13:58my golf clap of the day. This deserves a golf clap.
- 14:03No doubt. Golf clap.
- 14:04Golf clap. My golf clap of the day goes to
- 14:10the Tennessee Titans as they're one in five season seems to be
- 14:15in turmoil and and finally they made the right decision.
- 14:19Brian Callahan gets fired. Yes, after only two years, the
- 14:26Titans decided to part ways with the one and only Brian Callahan.
- 14:31Does anybody know who his father is?
- 14:33Speedy Bill Callahan. Bill Callahan.
- 14:36That's right. And you know who Bill Callahan
- 14:39was on on the sidelines? What team was he coaching on the
- 14:42sidelines for? You're talking about a head
- 14:45coach. No, right now.
- 14:46Oh. The offensive line, he was on
- 14:47the Titans. On the Titans and after, yes.
- 14:51So just so everybody knows, after Brian Callahan was fired,
- 14:55Bill Callahan stepped down after his son got fired and and
- 15:00decided to part ways with the Tennessee Titans.
- 15:03Right now, Ward, it looks like a shell of what I thought he was
- 15:06going to be in his first year. Now, that doesn't mean he's not
- 15:09going to be a good quarterback. That doesn't mean that he's not
- 15:11going to be a star in this league.
- 15:12It just means that the coaching staff that they had placed there
- 15:17for him in his first year as an NFL quarterback has failed him.
- 15:21And hopefully moving forward in the offseason, they find the
- 15:24right guy to fits with this team in this organization.
- 15:27Find an offensive coordinator that can help him.
- 15:29And there's one guy that could become available if he gets
- 15:33fired from the Browns and that's Kevin Stefanski.
- 15:35And if I were the Tennessee Titans, that's the first person.
- 15:40That's the first person I call if he becomes available.
- 15:43I think he's the perfect fit for a mobile quarterback that can
- 15:47throw the ball as well as Ward Ken.
- 15:49I think he'd be fantastic for the Tennessee Titans.
- 15:52So my golf clap of the day goes to thank God as they fire Brian
- 15:56Callahan. So the golf clap, Tennessee
- 15:59Titans firing the one and only Brian Callahan, and then Bill
- 16:03Callahan heads out with him and probably go gets a beer and gets
- 16:07drunk at the end of the night. So here you go.
- 16:09All right, ladies and gentlemen, we call this Speedy's Stat of
- 16:14the Week. The speedy well you may run like
- 16:19me, but you hit like stat of the week.
- 16:23Another tow job. Go suck on an egg and.
- 16:27Well, there's going to be plenty of Cowboys fans sucking eggs on
- 16:31this one, including the beef that loved this guy for a while
- 16:34trying to. Like a serial killer.
- 16:35Get convinced he was a good running back a couple years ago
- 16:38and that's Rico Dowdle. He gets to the start of the day.
- 16:42239 scrimmage yards this week, 234 last week.
- 16:47He is 1 of 6 running backs ever that have ever done that stat.
- 16:51A lot of them in the Hall of Fame.
- 16:52You mentioned Walter Payton during the interview with the
- 16:55touchdown maker Marshall Faulk, Hall of Famer.
- 16:57One guy that is a mess right now in Le'veon Bell.
- 17:00We don't reference him much more.
- 17:02Deuce McAllister, another one and Dalvin Cook was the most
- 17:05recent one doing it in 2020 with the Minnesota Vikings.
- 17:08I believe that was his last year there in Minnesota, but Rico
- 17:11Dowdell was a backup at the start of the year for Chuba
- 17:14Hubbard, Mikey CS Boy and now back-to-back games, 239 and 234
- 17:18scrimmage. Yards.
- 17:19I love what Canalis is doing with this team.
- 17:22I love what he did with Baker Mayfield.
- 17:23Everybody keeps giving the Cohen all the credit for what Baker
- 17:28Mayfield has turned into. It was Canalis.
- 17:30Canalis really changed everything.
- 17:32Cohen was right under Canalis and and Canalis was the
- 17:36offensive corner and Canalis went to Carolina Panther team
- 17:41that decided to part ways with their coach in the middle of the
- 17:43season. OK.
- 17:45And I it was, it's fantastic to watch.
- 17:48I think teams the the team is buying in right now.
- 17:51There are three and three. They just beat the Cowboys.
- 17:54This is the first time the Carolina Panthers have been
- 17:56three and three in about 7 years.
- 17:59Just think about that. It's been a long time for the
- 18:02Carolina Panthers. You're talking about Jonathan
- 18:05Stewart and, yeah, Cam Newton. Those teams, it's been a long,
- 18:10long time, and they finally look like a scrappy.
- 18:12I I think this might be one of the more scrappier teams right
- 18:16now in the NFL. Yeah, and they mentioned, like
- 18:19those running back records that he's breaking to Jonathan
- 18:21Stewart, DeAngelo Williams, that was there.
- 18:22And then most recently, Christian McCaffrey before they
- 18:24traded him and this guy Rico Dattle as the Scrubbage.
- 18:27When was the last time they were three and three?
- 18:29It has to be. It was one of late Ron.
- 18:31Rivera's later years, they I remember they were six and two.
- 18:33And got to be 5 or 6 years. Collapsed and missed the
- 18:35playoffs. Got to be 5 or 6 years ago.
- 18:39It's been a lot I want. To say it was 2019 more I want
- 18:41to say 2019 and was his last year there.
- 18:43I think that's when he got fired after subsequently after they
- 18:46went to Washington. Well, I do want to point out
- 18:48that the Panthers, the first year they had Sam Darnold, they
- 18:52did start off 3 and oh, but that absolutely collapsed so around
- 18:55that time a couple years ago. He did have a heart start one
- 18:59year and then he ended up moving on or something like that, yeah.
- 19:03OK, so that was the last. Time the offensive line.
- 19:05Look, if Rico Dowdell's putting up numbers like that, no one
- 19:08thinks Rico Dowdle is Bijan Robinson out there, right?
- 19:11He shouldn't be putting up those type of numbers.
- 19:14That's only happening with the offensive line playing at a
- 19:16really good level. They really have kind of come
- 19:19together. They've they've spent a lot of
- 19:22high picks on some guys over the years.
- 19:25I think that they're finally starting to pay off.
- 19:27You know, it's it's kind of a crap shoot when you try to get
- 19:29lineman. You don't know how far along
- 19:31they are, what they've learned, you know, as far as you know,
- 19:34body mechanics as well as the game, like how well they see the
- 19:38game. How will they understand what
- 19:39they're supposed to do coming into league like, like Kelsey,
- 19:42you know, Jason Kelsey was a fifth round, sixth round pick,
- 19:44right? You just don't know.
- 19:47And it takes good coaching, which is why I like this whole
- 19:49thing. You know, we started talking,
- 19:50you know, the Titans way back the beginning of this, that was
- 19:54supposed to be an offensive line coach.
- 19:55That was supposed to be that. That was supposed to develop
- 19:57guys. Sometimes you just don't know
- 19:59until you get everyone together who plays together, who gets
- 20:02response to coaching. If the coach is the right guy.
- 20:04You said it, Canalis might be the right guy in the right spot.
- 20:09Yes, you mentioned you mentioned their offensive line.
- 20:10So I know this because he's on my all 22 team.
- 20:12Taylor Moton, their best offensive lineman, their right
- 20:14tackle without in that game. So and he's still rego Dallas.
- 20:16So put a blue Summers. They just, they just have a good
- 20:20system might be the way to say it, like where a guy can go down
- 20:23and you can. Replace.
- 20:25And you don't miss a beat. It's just like I've coached
- 20:29teams at obviously much lower levels where you lose somebody
- 20:34and everything falls apart or you get high back and everything
- 20:38comes together. The Giants, you know, started
- 20:40playing better as soon as Andrew Thomas came back.
- 20:43That's that's surprising. They haven't given up.
- 20:45I think they gave it one pressure last week.
- 20:47The Giants offensive line had a rating in the 900, the 90s for
- 20:51two weeks in a row. Who would have thought that was
- 20:52even possible? Sometimes that's what it takes.
- 20:55Yeah, that's what it takes, though, like an elite guy to
- 20:56come back or just a really good system.
- 20:59I think the Panthers have figured it out.
- 21:01Well, I, I've been very interested to see what Canalis
- 21:05was going to do with this Carolina Panthers team.
- 21:08I liked Canalis. When he decided to part ways
- 21:11with Baker Mayfield in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to go to
- 21:14Carolina, I knew it was going to take a little while to remember.
- 21:17It took. He's been there.
- 21:18Canalis has been there almost three years now.
- 21:20So it took him right. Canalis has been there two
- 21:23years, two years. So this is no, is this the
- 21:25second year? Yes.
- 21:26Well, it's even faster than I thought he was going to do this.
- 21:29But I, I think Canalis is a very good coach, quality personality.
- 21:34And you could see when they're interviewing him.
- 21:36I saw him in the second-half when, when she, I forget who was
- 21:39interviewing him and what he said.
- 21:40And she says, what do we, what do you have to do to win this
- 21:42game? He says, just play football.
- 21:45As long as we play football, we're going to be in this game.
- 21:47And that's that's what you want to hear from your coach.
- 21:49He didn't look, he didn't say anything cocky.
- 21:51He didn't say anything confidently.
- 21:53He just says we got to play football.
- 21:54So I you like you like everything that you seen right
- 21:58now with the Carolina Panthers and hopefully they squeak into
- 22:01the playoffs and surprise the world.
- 22:03I and the way Dowdell is playing, if he could stay
- 22:06healthy, they could be scary with the way they play and the
- 22:09and the offensive line, what they're doing right now, pushing
- 22:12people around. So you're right, Fish.
- 22:13They've been unbelievable. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 22:16our NFL whip around. Whip, whip, whip around.
- 22:26All right, here we are back with the NFL.
- 22:29Whip around for Week 6 of your NFL coverage.
- 22:31We're going to start with Thursday night's win by the
- 22:34Giants over the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles 34 to 17 in
- 22:41this game. Jalen Hurts 2430, three 283
- 22:44yards, a touchdown and an interception.
- 22:47He also had a rushing touchdown in the game.
- 22:49At one point, they ran four straight pushes in a row before
- 22:53they got into the end zone. Saquon Barkley only 12 carries
- 22:56and 50 58 yards and just two catches for 9 yards.
- 22:59Dallas Goddard had 110 yards on 9 catches and a touchdown.
- 23:03A.J. Brown was more involved, 6
- 23:04catches, 80 yards, but it was not enough because Jackson Dart
- 23:09and Cam Scataboo ran wild. Scat with 19 carries, 98 yards,
- 23:143 touchdowns. Dart 13 carries, 58 yards, a
- 23:17rushing touchdown 17 of 25195 and a passing touchdown to
- 23:21Wandale Robinson. The Giants did this without
- 23:24Darius Slayton, without neighbors.
- 23:26Stop with Darius. Slayton.
- 23:27He's going. To bring that up again.
- 23:29Please, Brian. Darius Slayton.
- 23:32Leading the NFL in Sachs, Brian Burns playing with that and and
- 23:38on top of. It better they're paying him
- 23:40enough money. He's the highest paid
- 23:41linebacker. In the league, well, I don't
- 23:44think he's the highest paid, but he's definitely top five, top
- 23:4610. No, I think he was. 30 million a
- 23:48year for an Edge, that's not going to be the highest for a
- 23:49match. When they gave him the.
- 23:52There was a bunch of guys that got contracts after him.
- 23:55I think that pushed him down. But like literally, he's playing
- 23:59like he deserves that contract. So I'll take it if he's going to
- 24:01give you that kind of production.
- 24:03It's been pretty good to see Kayvon Thibodeaux in this game.
- 24:06Thibodeaux had the bust. He looked like Carl Bank
- 24:09stopping the run out there for a couple of plays.
- 24:12I couldn't believe what I was watching while the game, while
- 24:14we were doing the show on Thursday.
- 24:16I he just shut down every play on the edge.
- 24:19If Thibodeau is going to be the run stopping edge, you got to
- 24:21Abdul Carter and then Brian Burns doing stunts together,
- 24:25which is what they were doing. I mean, how do you stop that?
- 24:27And the answer is you don't, and you get a lot of pressure.
- 24:30And the that's a real good recipe for success, even against
- 24:33a guy like Jalen Hurts. All right, I, I will say this,
- 24:37the Eagles offensive line was not healthy going into the game.
- 24:41So I know everybody's sitting here and they're saying, well,
- 24:43look what the Giants did defensively against the Eagles.
- 24:46That was not the starting five. The Eagles start started in the
- 24:50beginning of the season and it won't be the starting five
- 24:53that's going to be starting in the playoffs.
- 24:55Now, the Giants aren't going to make the playoffs, but they
- 24:57looked very, very good the last this past week.
- 25:01They didn't look good the week before that with the Saints.
- 25:03So they had to come out strong. I like Jackson dart.
- 25:06I'm not going to turn down or put put down a guy that is
- 25:10playing good football. Now, is Jackson Dart a superstar
- 25:14player? Has he proven to me that he is
- 25:15going to be a Starness league? All he has proven to me is that
- 25:19he can take the pressure and when it came down to the big
- 25:21game, he showed up in the big game.
- 25:22Now as far as Cam Scataboo is, I heard, obviously we heard what
- 25:26Stephen Baker said about him. He tries to compare him.
- 25:29A lot of people compare and I did hear that comparison to Mike
- 25:32Allstock. Maybe if that's what you want to
- 25:35compare him. I remember Montana, Tampa, he's
- 25:37a beast hit. Mike Alstott was a lot bigger
- 25:39than Cam Scataboo. Now Scataboo plays bigger than
- 25:43he is and I like his personality.
- 25:45I like what he does, but it's not going to, he's not going to
- 25:48last long if he's going to leave with his head the whole game.
- 25:50That's what he does. That's how he runs the ball.
- 25:52It doesn't work in the NFL. If he continues to do that, he
- 25:56won't have a long lasting career in the NFL.
- 25:58But you have to like his personality.
- 26:00You have to like what the Giants are doing defensively.
- 26:02You have to like that they finally beat the Eagles and they
- 26:05did it on their own turf and and you you could see that the
- 26:08happiness of the giant fans. But giant fans take a step back
- 26:12and with the signs that you have in the audience and and the fans
- 26:16holding up, we don't have, we don't need Saquan.
- 26:19We have scataboo. What a joke.
- 26:21And by the way, the Eagles need to wake up.
- 26:23You have the you still have one of the top three running backs
- 26:26in the league. You're not using them enough.
- 26:28Stop listening to A.J. Brown, stop listening to the the
- 26:31garbage that they have on that team and do what you have done
- 26:34over the last past year that won you a Super Bowl.
- 26:36As far as the Giants, congratulations to them.
- 26:39It's not going to mean anything. Only puts them in a bad position
- 26:42to not get a top 10. Pick Yeah, we're talking about
- 26:45all year. Fish with how bad shame Baldwin
- 26:47has been in a lot of instances this year and Eagles fans all
- 26:50over social media have taken shots to Kevin Petullo
- 26:52immediately after. Like obviously Kellenmore going
- 26:54to the Saints and he's just been terrible as an offensive
- 26:56coordinator so far. And like I was saying before 6
- 26:59carries in one game last week for Saquon against the Broncos
- 27:02that it's just not a good recipe for success.
- 27:04And you're seeing this in this game too.
- 27:05Now. They were trying to get A.J.
- 27:06Brown more involved the at 80 yards fine, but it's still not a
- 27:08game breaker performance. It's these illustrious giants,
- 27:11young corners of Cordell Flott and Deonte Banks and all these
- 27:14other guys that have struggled most of the year.
- 27:16Flott obviously had to pick six in this game, but Vicious, what
- 27:18you described before where they end up winning probably the most
- 27:20dominating thing. This is the best game the Giants
- 27:22have. Played in the for a long time.
- 27:24Notice I never mentioned Jalen Hurts because he did have a good
- 27:26game. I know a lot of people want to
- 27:28point their fingers. Oh, that wasn't a Jalen Hurts
- 27:30game. His players were.
- 27:31A.J. Brown was not catching the ball.
- 27:33Devante Smith was not catching the ball.
- 27:34They weren't right running the right routes.
- 27:36He did overthrow a couple of passes, I'll admit it, he did.
- 27:40But Jalen Hurts has not played well in the last two weeks.
- 27:43This week against the Giants, he did play well.
- 27:46The players did not make the plays that he needed them to
- 27:49make when they needed to make them, and that's why they lost
- 27:51against the Giants that way they did.
- 27:53Yeah. And I also think like you saw
- 27:54some of the game plan that Denver used against the Eagles
- 27:57when they came back in that game, They were getting a lot of
- 27:59pressure. And the Giants were able to use
- 28:00a lot of those concepts, too, with the versatility of their
- 28:02pass rushers. And that was a big difference
- 28:04for them, finally making the defensive leap they needed so.
- 28:07Yeah, I loved every freaking second of it.
- 28:10What what a what a beautiful win.
- 28:12I don't care if the Giants don't make the playoffs if they can
- 28:15beat the Eagles like that. That was great.
- 28:17Now this game was pretty fascinating.
- 28:22For the second week in a row, Patrick Mahomes gets 4
- 28:25touchdowns. The Chiefs beat the Lions 30 to
- 28:2817. Mahomes finish 22 of 3257.
- 28:32Three passing touchdowns, 10 carries, 32 yards and a rushing
- 28:35touchdown. 2 of those touchdowns were to Hollywood Brown who had
- 28:40four catches, 45 yards and the 2 scores.
- 28:42Xavier Worthy coming back from the shoulder injury, played a
- 28:45limited snaps, had the other touchdown.
- 28:48The Lions, you know Jared Goff 23 of 29, two O 3 and two
- 28:52touchdowns. No turnovers.
- 28:54Jameer Gibbs and David Montgomery held in check.
- 28:57Montgomery only got 4 carries in this game for 24 yards, Gibbs 17
- 29:02for 65. Neither one of them found the
- 29:04end zone for the first time this season.
- 29:07Laporta and Jameson Williams both had a receiving touchdown,
- 29:1166 yards and 55 yards, respectively.
- 29:14All right, I'm, I'm going to tell you.
- 29:16And I, I, I read so many people all over social media says if
- 29:21Kansas City plays like that, they're going to the AFC title
- 29:24game once again for the night time in a row, this team is not
- 29:28going to the AFC title. GameStop, this rubbish.
- 29:31Even if Rice comes back and he's half as good as he was before he
- 29:36left and he was suspended, they're still not good enough to
- 29:39go to the AFC title game. Yeah, Patrick Mahomes had a good
- 29:42game. Was it one of his best games?
- 29:43No, he threw 3 touchdowns. Look at the Lions.
- 29:46The Lions lost their, their, they lost another safety in that
- 29:50game early in the game. They have no secondary.
- 29:53None. They played A-Team without a
- 29:56secondary and they put up those numbers.
- 29:58I don't know why anybody is trying to brag about what the
- 30:00Kansas City Chiefs did. And they were at home.
- 30:03They weren't in, they weren't in Detroit.
- 30:06They were in Kansas City. So stop this crap.
- 30:09Stop bragging and all these, all the stupid crap that I'm
- 30:12reading. Yeah.
- 30:13And I'm not going to mention I have a I'm a, I'm a fan of this
- 30:15guy. I watched his show today because
- 30:18I wanted to check out what he was going to say about Kansas
- 30:19City. And he was one of the guys that
- 30:20says, book it. Kansas City is going to the AFC
- 30:23title game. He's on drugs.
- 30:24They're not going on. They're not going on to the AFC
- 30:27title game. They're not even winning their
- 30:28division. They'll be lucky to make the
- 30:30playoffs still. What are they three and three
- 30:32right now, Please? Yeah, there's some things you
- 30:35can like with this thing. Obviously they had their own
- 30:37injuries that they were able to overcome with their wide.
- 30:39Receiver and Chris Jones looks old still he did not look good.
- 30:42Chris Jones has struggled this year and he did well the first
- 30:45couple of games. Since then he hasn't played
- 30:46great, but the linebackers have played really well for the the
- 30:49Chiefs. And this is a Chiefs run defense
- 30:51that was really bad coming into this game.
- 30:52And Steve Spagnola made a point of it to make sure that they
- 30:55could contain these two guys. And the other thing, obviously
- 30:58with Trent Mcduffey, you could trust him.
- 30:59Somebody against St. Brown, who was limited in this
- 31:01game as well. They let fish you were
- 31:03mentioning they let LaPorte to do their thing.
- 31:04They let Jameson Williams do their thing and they were able
- 31:06to key in on the run and trust Trent Mcduffie to do that.
- 31:09It was a good game plan by Spagnolo and on the offense they
- 31:11still can't run the ball, the Chiefs, but they're still trying
- 31:13to make it work with these. Receivers.
- 31:14I agree with Kev too. Kev actually posted he said also
- 31:18the referees did not call 7 holding plays and you can see
- 31:22they were holding. The Kansas City Chiefs were
- 31:24holding throughout the game and there were no penalties called
- 31:27in in very important parts of the game, which could have set
- 31:30them back 1010 yards, 15 yards at some points of the game,
- 31:34which because I, I caused possibly the Lions a chance to
- 31:38get back into this game. So I agree with you, Kev.
- 31:40There was a lot that the NFL stands for, and that's cheating,
- 31:44as they always do. For Candace, and we talked about
- 31:46it at the beginning of the year, like would the Lions be able to
- 31:48adjust with all these new assistant coaches all at once to
- 31:50this maybe have been there were the first Test if spec when
- 31:53Spagnolo adjusted to the run, they could never adjust back to
- 31:55get those guys involved. And Dan Campbell obviously is a
- 31:58great coach, but he can only do so much with somebody like
- 32:01Spagnolo, who's a defensive, we know his defensive whiz.
- 32:03Not surprised Bagnolo tried to stop the run.
- 32:06That's what they're really good at, I think, if you can.
- 32:09They weren't going into this game.
- 32:10They were third worst I think an EPA.
- 32:12But you know, like, I'm, I'm just saying like, you know,
- 32:15that's what they want to do. So if you stop doing what they
- 32:18want to do, that's a smart strategy.
- 32:21You know, you Belichick forever would try to make, they said,
- 32:24try to make teams play left-handed, make them do their
- 32:26second best thing, make them do their third best thing.
- 32:29Don't let them, you know, like as in baseball, maybe like.
- 32:33I love Lisa Ann and. Beat you with your third third
- 32:36pitch. You want to.
- 32:37Throw that fastball if that's you know.
- 32:40I think. That's that's kind of the thing.
- 32:42The Chiefs are smart, they're well coached and they can beat
- 32:45A-Team like this if they're really motivated.
- 32:47They've been they've been playing tough.
- 32:49The Lions have been riding high. I thought it was a trap game for
- 32:52them. Anyway, not surprised the Chiefs
- 32:54won this one. Let's move my rest.
- 32:56Of the coverage, Errol, I know you've been wanting to talk
- 32:59about this, so here it is. Daniel Jones and the Colts 31.
- 33:03The Cardinals collapse, this time without Kyler Murray,
- 33:07Jacoby percent filling in. And yes, yes, I gave you the
- 33:10points for Jacoby Percent. I don't know why you want years.
- 33:13I don't. Know why you well, Because I
- 33:15mean, technically that's not the same guy.
- 33:17It doesn't matter. It was at the last minute.
- 33:19Kyle Murray was going to play. That's so.
- 33:20It was, you know, like Chris. Scott, wait a second.
- 33:22There were you picked? You picked 2 running backs in
- 33:24the same week it was white. Or or Irving, that's fair going.
- 33:29In That's not fair. No, no, that's not fair.
- 33:32That's not. Fair.
- 33:32I gave you the points. I'm just saying matter the
- 33:35results, that's fine, that doesn't matter to me, but it it
- 33:38nevertheless now it's better. Enough that you like text me in
- 33:42the middle of. The Week 100.
- 33:43Percent you better be given me like. 20% I texted you during
- 33:47the game, that's what I said. That's what I meant the week of
- 33:49games anyway. Let's just go through some of
- 33:52the stats. Percent was really good for
- 33:54Murray. 320 yards, 2 touchdowns and a pick.
- 33:57Their rushing attack was nonexistent.
- 33:59As you know, all their running backs are hurt.
- 34:01Elvis and Mari Dimicardo after that fumble.
- 34:04They only gave him one carry in this game.
- 34:06Bam Knight had 11 carries, 34 yards and a touchdown.
- 34:09Jets legend Michael Carter had 9 carries, 34 yards.
- 34:14Jonathan Taylor was the dominating force in this game
- 34:17for the Colts. 21 carries, 123 yards and a touchdown.
- 34:21Daniel Jones 212 on 22 of 32 touchdowns a pick, 5 carries, 20
- 34:26yards and a touchdown on the ground.
- 34:28Tyler Warren just continues to be beast mode Tight end in the
- 34:31league. 6 catches, 63 yards and A and a touchdown.
- 34:35That's a. Beast mode for a tight end?
- 34:37Come on stop stats. Stats are not good man.
- 34:41What are you talking not? About the stats with him though,
- 34:44he he's great at every. Play in the mode.
- 34:47I mean, yeah, you're going to give hold on one second.
- 34:50You're going to give Warren all the credit.
- 34:51And Daniel Jones was 22 for 30. He was 20, 22 for 30 and he's up
- 34:57for an MVP and you're not going to give him any credit for what
- 35:00he did? You're not going to give him any
- 35:02credit. No, no.
- 35:04Why? Why?
- 35:05It's. Ridiculous.
- 35:06No, it's not ridiculous. Why is it ridiculous?
- 35:09Why is it ridiculous right now? Fine, fine.
- 35:11He's in the top five in almost every single statistic right now
- 35:14in the NFL and you're not giving him any credit.
- 35:16You are a big hater. He's you're a hater.
- 35:19Outside the top you. Are a hater.
- 35:20You're a hater? No in a lot of the statistics
- 35:23right now. It's way too early to vote for.
- 35:25MV Not to me. Not to me.
- 35:29And they're always doing voting yet.
- 35:31So look. In PFF, he's a top five
- 35:34quarterback right now in the league too.
- 35:36Now it's about the PFL. Your PFL where you can use.
- 35:40It your own benefit training Bride is the number one
- 35:45technically currently, though he had another 8 catches, 72 yards
- 35:50and a touchdown. The other game, though, real
- 35:52fascinating game. The Dolphins blow another one.
- 35:56They fall to one in five. If we already lost Callahan, the
- 36:01other hot seat in the NFL, it's clearly Mike McDaniel.
- 36:06They lost this game at the end that they tried to come back and
- 36:09they blew it at the end. Herbert 29 of 38264 two
- 36:13touchdowns. Kimani Vidal 18 carries, 124
- 36:20yards. Out of nowhere.
- 36:21Lad Mcconkey is first real good. All right.
- 36:24Can we move on from this? We're talking about the charges
- 36:27in the Miami Dolphins. Who?
- 36:28Devon? 8 chain, 128 yards, 2 touchdown.
- 36:30Who cares? I'm running back in the league.
- 36:32Who cares? It's not going to be cares.
- 36:34It's not going. To make a coach who's going to
- 36:36get fired. He's not.
- 36:38He's not getting fired until the end of the season.
- 36:40Miami doesn't. So yeah, I don't think Miami is
- 36:42going to fire him until the end of the season.
- 36:44I think he deserves it. I like Mike McDaniel and I know
- 36:47a lot of people have their own thoughts to him.
- 36:50The the team as far as I'm concerned, are are really not a
- 36:53team anymore. Tyree Kill has been a problem
- 36:56really since the beginning of the season on the offseason.
- 36:59He's always on these podcasts saying what he says.
- 37:02He's taking shots at the coaching staff.
- 37:04It hasn't worked over there. But Mike McDaniel is a great
- 37:07offensive coordinator. He's a great personality.
- 37:09I think you'll get another job very quickly.
- 37:11He'll be an offensive coordinator somewhere in the
- 37:13NFL. But the Chargers are for real.
- 37:15I'm I'm sorry, they're your for real.
- 37:18They they're up and down in certain parts of the game.
- 37:21Their defense could play at the top level and then sometimes
- 37:24they don't show up on certain plays and you're wondering where
- 37:26they are. But this is a good team.
- 37:29Justin Herbert is one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
- 37:32Can't really take that away from him.
- 37:34And Jim Harbaugh is going to be up for coach of the year.
- 37:36As far as the Colts. I'm going to tell you this right
- 37:39now. If the Colts stay healthy all
- 37:41season long with this roster, the offensive line playing as
- 37:45well as they are in their defense, they can come out of
- 37:48the AFC, they can go to the Super Bowl this year.
- 37:50Don't be surprised if they head to San Francisco as the AFC
- 37:55champion. I, I'm telling you, this team is
- 37:57playing great football right now and I I'm telling they're as
- 38:02dangerous as any team right now in the NFL.
- 38:04So. They've actually had some other
- 38:08what aspects of their defense I was worried about that are
- 38:09actually playing well when it comes to the pressure rate.
- 38:11You were talking about the Broncos earlier being very high.
- 38:13The Colts are actually one of the top five in the league
- 38:15getting pressure as well. Their secondaries played a lot
- 38:17better. Not as good in this game, but
- 38:18again, your game planning for a new quarterback like you're
- 38:20saying. But overall they still look good
- 38:22and the offense is phenomenal as always.
- 38:24Dolphins, I think they're going to McDaniel is going to get
- 38:26fired at the end of the year. I agree with you.
- 38:27It's not going to come when they have no assistance that are
- 38:30worth taking over at this point. The Chargers, they're good right
- 38:32now. Just trying to grit it out.
- 38:35Yeah, well, look, McDaniel, I think everyone thinks he's a
- 38:38good guy and everything. It just seems to not be working
- 38:41there, might have run its course.
- 38:43Maybe he's one of those guys that gets it, gets it together
- 38:45on the second job. All right, so here we go.
- 38:48The Patriots 25, Saints 19. In the game that was a lot
- 38:52closer than people thought and in a game that went pretty much
- 38:55the way people thought after the Browns traded away Joe Flacco to
- 39:00the Bengals, the Steelers put up 23 against their only nine with
- 39:05not Shador Sanders, Dylan Gabriel in that one.
- 39:09The stats in that game for Arrow's favorite quarterback in
- 39:12the world, Aaron Rodgers, 21 of 3235 and two touchdowns.
- 39:17The touchdowns went to DK Metcalf, who had 95 yards and it
- 39:21looks like a backup tight end. These games have Browns, the
- 39:24Browns, you know, Gabriel threw, threw the ball 52 times in this
- 39:29game for some reason, 29 of 52 for 2/21.
- 39:33That game was not close whatsoever.
- 39:35The Drake may love affair, though.
- 39:38People are really, really in awe of some of the things he's
- 39:42doing. There's a lot of quarterback
- 39:44guys on the Internet that are saying he's doing some next
- 39:47level stuff. Errol 18 of 26261, three
- 39:52touchdowns. They had no running game
- 39:54whatsoever. He led the rushing attack with
- 39:5728 yards. Keshawn Booty, 93 yards and two
- 40:01touchdowns. Pop Demario Douglas 71 yards and
- 40:05a touchdown. Congratulations to him.
- 40:08He's still not a top five quarterback and he won't be.
- 40:11And I'm just going to let you guys know that as far as I'm
- 40:14concerned, the Patriots played the Saints, the Saints, the same
- 40:18Saints team that beat the New York Giants the week before.
- 40:21This is not a good team. So that's all I'm going to say
- 40:24about that. Drake May, congratulations to
- 40:25him. I like Drake.
- 40:27I watched him play for North Carolina.
- 40:29Do I think he's going ever going to be a top five quarterback?
- 40:32He'll be a top ten quarterback. No question that he will be.
- 40:34He's good enough to be a top ten quarterback, Top five.
- 40:38That's a little reach. And until he proves that, as far
- 40:40as the Steelers are concerned, Dylan Gabriel is going to be,
- 40:44he's going to get one more week, maybe 2 at best.
- 40:47And then they're going to give Shador Sanders the rain.
- 40:49And I'm going to tell you this right now, this is going to be
- 40:52an absolute debacle. I am telling you right now, this
- 40:56is going to hurt because step Kevin Stefanski is going to be
- 40:59forced to put in Shador Sanders because of the fans in ownership
- 41:04and he's going to lose his job because of it.
- 41:05It's not going to work over there.
- 41:07They're in a terrible division right now.
- 41:09The Baltimore Ravens don't have Lamar Jackson.
- 41:11He's going to be out maybe another week with his injury.
- 41:14The Bengals don't have a quarterback.
- 41:16Joe Burrow has been out and the Browns are the Browns.
- 41:19So I, I mean, that's why Pittsburgh's right now sitting
- 41:22in first place. They better start moving, moving
- 41:26and moving because once Lamar comes back, if they're not, they
- 41:30don't have a hefty lead on them. I could see Baltimore coming
- 41:34right back and winning that division.
- 41:35Yeah, these are two very ugly four and two teams because the
- 41:38Patriots, they obviously they proved their mark last week
- 41:40against the Bills, but this game was very ugly.
- 41:42Drake made did make some very very impressive throws, but
- 41:44again, I'm not going to jump the gun and elevate him to the level
- 41:46that a lot of these Twitter people want to do because he
- 41:48beat the Saints and the Patriots are still not well-rounded.
- 41:51The Steelers I agree with you, they're very ugly right now.
- 41:53Still having a line problems, still having issues running the
- 41:55ball. And DK Metcalf's been great but
- 41:58I mean he can only do so much with 1 weapon.
- 42:00Mike Tomlin is going to keep his job if this keeps up.
- 42:03Mike Tomlin will keep his job for one more year.
- 42:06That's about it. Aaron Rodgers is not Aaron
- 42:08Rodgers. OK, I don't want to hear it
- 42:11anymore. It's not the same guy.
- 42:13It's just not anymore. And he might get into the
- 42:16playoffs. The Steelers might be able to.
- 42:19They'll probably lose in the first round again.
- 42:21I I, I don't see the Steelers beating anybody.
- 42:24They don't have a good enough offensive line.
- 42:26Their offense, they as good as their running game has been up
- 42:29and down throughout the season. They don't even have a #1
- 42:32running back. They really don't.
- 42:34They're using two guys, Gamewell, who was a third string
- 42:37running back for the Eagles. And then they have Warren, who
- 42:41really is a #2 on any other roster, so they don't even have
- 42:44a number one guy. So I, I, I don't think this
- 42:47team's any good. I, I really don't.
- 42:49And I don't want to hear about DK Metcalf and what what he's
- 42:52doing right. He stinks.
- 42:54He looks pretty good, I would say, but you know, he's a
- 42:57limited in some in some facets. I get you.
- 43:01All right, let's keep going. We have the Panthers 30, the
- 43:05Cowboys 27. Rico Dowdle, 30 carries, 183
- 43:10yards on the ground, 4 catches, 56 yards and a touchdown in the
- 43:14air was the entire offense. Outside of a couple of touchdown
- 43:18catches by Ted Toroa McMillan, the rookie on from Bryce Young,
- 43:24who had 199 yards on 17 of 25 passing, 3 touchdowns and a pick
- 43:29only one sack, it was enough to beat the Cowboys.
- 43:33You have to hear losing. I'm going to tell you guys beef
- 43:37was texting me. Do you guys want to hear what
- 43:39the beef wrote to me? Hold on, hold on.
- 43:41I got to break. Speedy.
- 43:43You go and say do your tick. I want you to hear what beef.
- 43:45Let me let me give you the rest of the Cowboy stats because Dak
- 43:49was good. 261 three touchdowns, George Pickens 9 catches, 168 in
- 43:54a touchdown. But they only had 31 yards
- 43:57rushing the entire game, 13 carries for 29 yards by Javonte
- 44:02Williams and a whole bunch of nothing by everybody else.
- 44:04That's where I was going to start, was actually the Panthers
- 44:06front 7, like being very young all at once.
- 44:09They have Derek Brown, they have a couple good linebackers, but
- 44:12again, it's not a lot of great things.
- 44:14They did a great job of stopping the Cowboys running game and
- 44:16really out matching their offensive line in some instance
- 44:18too. And like we said before, Canal
- 44:19has done a really good job with McMillan and a lot of these
- 44:21other wrong young receivers. All right, so this is Beef's
- 44:24take on the Cowboys loss. This Cowboy team is a freaking
- 44:29joke and I wrote to him Dak is definitely having an MVP season.
- 44:33He says he sucks. Jerry Jones needs to go.
- 44:38He's a Jackass. This defense is an absolute
- 44:41joke. A high school team can beat this
- 44:44defense. And I wrote that's true.
- 44:46And he says it's mostly the defensive fault, the defensive
- 44:51team's fault. They can't stop anything.
- 44:54I would fire the defensive coordinator ASAP.
- 44:57That's what he wrote to me. That's.
- 44:58The great Matt Eberflus. That that was the Biebs take on
- 45:04the Cowboys. Absolutely.
- 45:06Honestly, you can't blame Dak on this.
- 45:09Dak did what he was supposed to. I mean, George Pickens had
- 45:12another big day. CD Lamb's not playing.
- 45:15When CD Lamb comes back, they're going to put up even more
- 45:18points. The problem is they can't stop a
- 45:21Nosebleed. That doesn't mean that this team
- 45:23can't make the playoffs. They're only two and three.
- 45:25That doesn't mean they can't sneak as a wild card team and
- 45:28maybe even win the division. Look, the Eagles are four and
- 45:31two. They just lost against the
- 45:33Giants. They lose another game and the
- 45:36Cowboys win two more. They have the same record.
- 45:39So because the eagles are coming up on their bye week.
- 45:41So I mean, there's a good chance the the Cowboys could still
- 45:45fight for that division. And and I don't trust the
- 45:48commanders. I don't I don't know what the
- 45:50commander this commander team is yet because they're not the same
- 45:53team they were last year. So not surprised about what the
- 45:56beef is saying. I I'll tell you this.
- 45:58The Panthers are The Panthers are a much better team than the
- 46:01beef made amount to be. Seahawks before.
- 46:05You do that before you do it. I have a statistic for you for
- 46:07that Game 5 and 15. Could you guess what those
- 46:13statistics go come from? It's.
- 46:15Probably something to do with the gremlin.
- 46:18So here's the thing. It's actually worse.
- 46:20It's 4 and 15. All right, I'm.
- 46:22Sorry. And it that those stats don't do
- 46:25Travis Hunter's poor offensive performance justice, because
- 46:29there was also a touchdown called back to Brian Thomas
- 46:33Junior because Travis Hunter lined up with his foot over the
- 46:37line of scrimmage. Cadarius, Tony from two years
- 46:39ago. Basically bringing down back
- 46:42that play. So he was a basically a net
- 46:46negative to the team in this. Jamie Lee.
- 46:49Jamie Lee had to write this. He says Mike's still blaming DAC
- 46:52and he said had a great game. The defense is bad because
- 46:56Everfloose is trash. That's what he said.
- 46:59Everfloose is trash. I think the general manager
- 47:02might be trash as well getting those guys.
- 47:04That whole Kenny Clark debacle, he only had one tackle I think
- 47:08the entire game. This game featured no running
- 47:11attack whatsoever. Kenneth Walker 34 yards,
- 47:14Charbonnay 24 at the end, 27 Tootin 14.
- 47:18Nothing going on there. It was all about airing it out.
- 47:21Jackson Smith and Jigba, 8 catches, 162 yards and a
- 47:25touchdown from Sam Darnold to a 295 yards.
- 47:28He looks good 16 to 27. Two touchdowns, looks pretty
- 47:32good out there. Another touchdown to Cooper Cup,
- 47:34his first of the season cup has been, you know, kind of that
- 47:37possession receiver like we thought, you know, kind of
- 47:40fitting in nicely as #2 at this point in his career for the
- 47:43Seahawks. I I think Seattle's dangerous.
- 47:46I think they're very dangerous. If they make the playoffs, they
- 47:48could be very dangerous. The defense is a lot better than
- 47:50they look, and they have one of the more unique defensive minds
- 47:54in the NFL in McDonald. I think he's a great coach.
- 47:58I think he's going to be there for a very, very long time.
- 48:00He reminds me of a young Pete Carroll.
- 48:01He really does. And I think the team and the
- 48:04players are buying into the way he likes to run that fence.
- 48:07I I think that they, they're dangerous.
- 48:09I the problem with them is they really don't have a number 2
- 48:12wide receiver. I, I, I love Cooper, Cooper cup.
- 48:16I love him, but he's more of a slot guy than he is a #2 now I
- 48:21think you put Cooper couple in the slot, they got a number
- 48:23another #2 on the other side. I think this team would be
- 48:27unstoppable and Sam Donald, I didn't know if this was going to
- 48:30work out or it's going to fit. I think they made the right
- 48:33choice. Sam Donald looks really good in
- 48:35the last two weeks, really, really good and he's starting to
- 48:37get get a feeling of who where his players are going to be and
- 48:41he's getting the ball to him so they look good.
- 48:43Yeah, he looks sharp, like you're saying, without having a
- 48:45real #2 receiver. They had flashes with their
- 48:47rookie and Tory Horton, but. He's not a #2.
- 48:50He's not a number. Two, he's a seventh round pick.
- 48:52That is guy that you're going to have some random flashes with.
- 48:54Cooper Cup is probably a short route guy at this point and the
- 48:58one you mentioned, AJ Barner Fish a couple weeks ago, he's
- 49:01actually come together as a nice young tight end.
- 49:03He was a random red zone target. I always said that with the
- 49:05Seahawks tight ends in the past, like they'll have their moments,
- 49:08but they're not overly consistent.
- 49:09We'll see if it keeps up. But that defense, I agree with
- 49:11you is what I was very impressed with in this game is what's a
- 49:13good Jacksonville offensive line.
- 49:15The only reason why Cooper Cup still has a job in the NFL is
- 49:18because he's one of the top five route runners in the NFL, and he
- 49:21still is. He doesn't have to be fast, he
- 49:23just knows how to run a route and he knows how to run them
- 49:26just as good as anybody. Ask anybody when he was at the
- 49:29top of his game, who is better than Cooper Cup when it came to
- 49:31running around? Nobody.
- 49:33The guy knows where to be, he knows where the ball is going to
- 49:35go and he just gets there. So.
- 49:37You know what he does that's really good.
- 49:39It's like he doesn't have to be open.
- 49:41You could throw it back shoulder to him and he's just going to
- 49:44it's just going to stick to him. He's like one of those guys like
- 49:47remember DeAndre Hopkins a few years back, like even though he
- 49:50didn't, he lost maybe some of that top flight speed that he
- 49:52you know, he was never a top flight guy, but he had enough
- 49:55speed to get open. Then it was just like, just
- 49:57throw it to me anyway, because I'm going to make the play and
- 50:00Cooper Cup has that ability to him too.
- 50:03So moving on to the next slate of games here we got the I mean,
- 50:07this game Cooper Russia got benched in this game for Snoop
- 50:12Huntley, who made his way somehow back to the.
- 50:15Ravens Jeff Cooper Rush No No. No Tyler Huntley, the Pro Bowler
- 50:20that Jeff said was better than Dak.
- 50:21Cooper Yeah, yeah, that's what I.
- 50:23Remember, it was ugly. The Rams didn't really have to
- 50:25do much at all in this game. Stafford had 181 yards and a
- 50:29touchdown. Karen Williams had 50 yards and
- 50:31a touchdown on the ground. But Cooper Rush was an abject
- 50:36disaster. Tyler Huntley was no better.
- 50:39They combined for like 117 yards, just really bad.
- 50:43Derek Henry had 122 yards on the ground.
- 50:46Doesn't matter when you can't score and you can't put together
- 50:49any kind of red zone offense. Could I feel something?
- 50:51Could I feel something in this game?
- 50:53I thought the Rams were going to be a pretty good team this year.
- 50:56I, I, I don't, I don't think they're any good.
- 50:59I with the weapons that they have with Devante Adams and and
- 51:04and Puka Nukua and the running game that they have, the Ravens
- 51:08playing the way they're playing defensively, all you put up was
- 51:1017 points against that Ravens team.
- 51:13They couldn't put the ball in the end zone.
- 51:16They should have won by 40 in this game and they still
- 51:19couldn't do that. The Rams are not as good as
- 51:22people thought, including yours truly.
- 51:23I thought they were going to be much better.
- 51:25Devante Adams, for the first time I could say, looks old.
- 51:28He looks old and and Puka Nuku is breaking records.
- 51:32Yes, he's the only to me and everybody keeps talking about
- 51:36Williams. Williams is up and down.
- 51:38He never plays every day, every game at the top level.
- 51:42Who could? AKU is the only top level player
- 51:44they have. I don't think the Rams are any
- 51:45good. I I'd be very surprised even if
- 51:47they make the playoffs, they get out of a round.
- 51:50I I just don't think they're any good.
- 51:51Yeah, they need Pooka to get healthy.
- 51:53Left the game in the third quarter.
- 51:54Yeah, of course. And you definitely saw at
- 51:56Devante Adams nowhere near a #1 receiver at this point.
- 51:58It's not even a #2. Tyron will Tyron Williams I
- 52:01think is some flashes of being good, but he's still not overly
- 52:04efficient for somebody that you would think is a top top end
- 52:07running back like that. Their offensive line, the Rams
- 52:09has been pretty good this year and Williams has had his
- 52:11flashes. It just much more of a defensive
- 52:13team than with the. Rams am I missing something
- 52:15because Devante Adams, he just, he can't separate himself
- 52:19anywhere. There's corners all over him.
- 52:22When he was playing even with The Jets last year, at some
- 52:25point you saw him separate himself.
- 52:27He has not separated himself that much this year.
- 52:29If you look at his numbers right now, I would have thought right
- 52:33now being that he's the number 2 of Pook and the Core, he would
- 52:36have like 400 and something yards.
- 52:38I don't even think he has more than 200 yards right now.
- 52:41It's crazy. Let's see, Devante Adams, he had
- 52:45four catches for 39 yards in the game.
- 52:49He no, he had a couple of strong games earlier in the season.
- 52:52He's got 396 yards. Does.
- 52:54He have 396. Yeah, he had a couple of strong
- 52:57games early in the season. You know, it's he's a guy that
- 53:01if there's the right match up, he's going to be good.
- 53:03But he's not beating top flight corners anymore.
- 53:06He's a he can't be the number one guy, you know, but they
- 53:09don't need him to be. It's just can they all stay
- 53:12healthy? It's a bunch of guys that are
- 53:13older. It's an old team.
- 53:15And then Puka seems to get banged up all the time.
- 53:18And you know, you, you just hope that he can play at a high level
- 53:21and play through injuries or not get that many.
- 53:23Dude, the only two games that the only two games he did well
- 53:26in was the Tennessee Titans. Their secondary is horrible.
- 53:30He had 106 yards. Then he had 56 against the
- 53:33Philadelphia Eagles. He had 56 against the
- 53:36Indianapolis. He had 88 against San Francisco
- 53:39and 39 against Baltimore. He does not look good dude.
- 53:43You know, over 50 yards in almost every game.
- 53:45You know, like he's still, he's still a serviceable player.
- 53:47He's above average for a #2 I would say, but he's certainly
- 53:50not the Devante Adams. Remember, Geno Smith got the
- 53:54win. And even though he's now up to
- 53:5710 interceptions on the season, they won 20 to 10 over the
- 54:01Titans. That led to the firing of head
- 54:04coach Brian Callahan, as we've already talked about earlier
- 54:06tonight. Cam Ward, 26 at 38222 yards,
- 54:10touchdown and an interception. Not much of A run game. 34 yards
- 54:14for Pollard, 31 for Taje Spears. Ashton Gente on the other side,
- 54:1875 yards on the ground and a touchdown.
- 54:21Other 11 receiving. Michael Mayer had 50 yards and a
- 54:25touchdown because Brock Bowers didn't play, so Mayer got a
- 54:27little bit more action in the receiving game.
- 54:30There wasn't really much to write home for the Titans.
- 54:33Yet again, they lose their coach, they're in full rebuild,
- 54:37rebuild mode and they just had the number one overall pick.
- 54:40Ashton Gente is going to be special.
- 54:42I He reminds me of a smaller Bijan Robinson.
- 54:45I think he's going to be fun to watch for the Raiders once he
- 54:49figures out the scheme and the offense.
- 54:51They're going to give him the ball.
- 54:52He's going to touch the ball and he is going to be the go to guy.
- 54:55It's not going to be Brock Bowers.
- 54:56Brock Bowers is the #2 Ashton Gente is the number one.
- 54:59They're going to be a run first team as we've seen Pete Carroll
- 55:03over the years. And I'm going to tell you this
- 55:05right now, the offensive line has played a lot better in the
- 55:08last two weeks than they were in the first three weeks of the
- 55:12season. I think they've been sensational
- 55:14the last two weeks. The Titans are not a great
- 55:17defense this year, but last going into the season up we we
- 55:21thought they were going to be somewhere where they were last
- 55:23year at a top five, same players practically.
- 55:26They just really haven't produced.
- 55:28So to do that against that defense the way they did in
- 55:31Ashton Gentie, I thought they played very well.
- 55:34So I'm going to take the angle that you were taking about fish
- 55:36with with Mayor. I'm curious once Bowers comes
- 55:39back with Mayor having a little more target share a little more
- 55:41production, granted not against great teams, but they don't have
- 55:44an obvious #2 receiver. Would they consider using Bowers
- 55:47more split outside than they have been in the past too?
- 55:49Is going to be very interesting to see if they can get any level
- 55:51of offensive adjustments because their defense besides a couple
- 55:54of games held their own this year.
- 55:58I think that you have like kind of the best of both worlds.
- 56:01If I'm them, I kind of go to that, you know, offense.
- 56:05The Patriots ran back in the day with Gronkowski and Hernandez,
- 56:09the two tight end look with one guy on the ball and one guy off
- 56:12the ball and you kind of attacking the slots with guys
- 56:15that are so big and strong and have speed that they're open
- 56:20even if they're not open. And Brock Bowers is going to get
- 56:23open and Mayor is a huge target. I think that's the way to go
- 56:27with them. And I think those guys can both
- 56:29run block. I think there's a lot to do
- 56:31that. I just think they need to kind
- 56:32of, you know, sometimes with old, what's old is new again,
- 56:36you know, in football and going to that kind of maybe early
- 56:392010's type of offense might be something that I would look at
- 56:45with those guys just because you have such a unique grouping, a
- 56:48tight end, so two guys that different abilities, but really
- 56:52elite at both of them. So it's a really interesting
- 56:55point. Speedy for sure.
- 56:57So we got one last slate of games here.
- 57:01The Buccaneers handle the 49ers 30 to 19.
- 57:04Fred Warner carted off. Looks like he's going to miss
- 57:07the season with a bad. 49ers are done.
- 57:10They're done. Well, he in my opinion, Fred
- 57:13Warner is the best off ball linebacker in the league.
- 57:15So they just lost him. That's a big problem they.
- 57:18Lost. Nick Bosa.
- 57:19They lost. They lost Bosa, they've lost
- 57:21guys. Purdy hasn't played it was the
- 57:24Mac attack again in this one. Not enough from Mac Jones.
- 57:27He did put up another 347 yards in the air, but no touchdowns. 2
- 57:32picks. CMC had another 5050 game.
- 57:35He just keeps going. 54 yards and a touchdown on the ground,
- 57:3857 in the air on 7 catches. Kendrick Bourne for the second
- 57:42game in a row has had a a ton of receiving yards. 142 yards in
- 57:46this game for San Francisco. But again, this game was
- 57:50completely in control. You know, basically by the time
- 57:53we got to the third quarter, the the Tampa Bay was up over once.
- 57:571 possession for most of that second-half of that game.
- 57:59Mayfield 256, two touchdowns. Rashad White touchdown on the
- 58:05ground. Sean Tucker had another one on
- 58:06the ground for them. Cam Johnson, I believe a rookie
- 58:10receiver touchdown for the year and a big pass to test Johnson
- 58:14as well. Baker, Baker, Baker.
- 58:18That's all I'm going to say right now for the Buccaneers.
- 58:21Baker is going to lead this team and and they're dangerous.
- 58:24Baker is definitely up for an MVP right now.
- 58:26If you were to ask me right now who are the three best
- 58:28quarterbacks, who has been the best 3 quarterbacks in the first
- 58:32six weeks of the season, I would go in order DAC Prescott.
- 58:36I would go Baker and Daniel Jones.
- 58:38Those are the three guys who would have thought that all
- 58:40three nobody wanted Baker Mayfield.
- 58:42Remember that when he left the Browns and they parted ways with
- 58:46with Baker Mayfield, he jumped to two or three teams before he
- 58:51found a home. Now we found a home with the
- 58:53Buccaneers and he's really changed his career.
- 58:55This is a guy that was a number one pick with a lot of people
- 58:58thought he was a third round talent and he shouldn't have
- 59:01been a top first round draft pick.
- 59:02The Browns finally got it right and then they parted ways with
- 59:05the kid and now he's playing for the Buccaneers in shining and
- 59:09becoming an MVP candidate. It's it's an incredible story
- 59:13for Bacon Mayfield. The Buccaneers are dangerous.
- 59:15They're this is one of the best defenses in the league front 7.
- 59:18They got a great secondary and Todd Bowles is one of the best
- 59:22defensive minds as far as the blitz is concerned, Probably one
- 59:25of the best, best blitzing coaches the NFL has seen in a
- 59:28very long time since Rex Ryan. So Buccaneers are dangerous.
- 59:32They're not even healthy yet. They don't have Mike Evans, they
- 59:35don't have Godwin. They lost.
- 59:37What's his name again? Their whole their whole
- 59:39receiving corps was out in this house.
- 59:40They lost the Buca early in the game, so they didn't have their
- 59:44top four. They still.
- 59:45Wins, and they still win and they still win.
- 59:47And they still have two offensive lineman that are out
- 59:49for the year too. They lost Graham Bar and they
- 59:51lost Geki. I think was the right tackle
- 59:53that they lost. Tristan Works wasn't playing
- 59:55much of the year as well. They lost Kalasha can't see
- 59:57their defensive tackle, their second guy who's a good pass
- 1:00:01rushing type. Yeah, they've lost a lot and
- 1:00:02they've overcome everything. This reminds me of the 49ers 2
- 1:00:04years ago when I wasn't as sure as they would win the division
- 1:00:07because they had all these injuries, including party at the
- 1:00:09start of the year, and they still ended up winning anyway.
- 1:00:11This Tampa Bay Buccaneers team reminds me of that kind of
- 1:00:13thing. They don't really have a
- 1:00:14significant weakness and they've so much organizational depth
- 1:00:17that they could just still keep winning on anyway.
- 1:00:19Could you imagine when Mike Evans, Godwin come back and
- 1:00:22they're all at full strength, how good this team, they don't
- 1:00:25even have their other star running back who's been out to
- 1:00:28Irving. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:29So Bucky's. Been out as well, you know, and
- 1:00:32he's going to miss another game this week.
- 1:00:33I know it's killing. It's.
- 1:00:35Killing. Me they're they're just starting
- 1:00:39to peak. And, you know, it's really great
- 1:00:40to see, you know, like when you compare Baker Mayfield and
- 1:00:44Daniel Jones. And that's why I like I, I don't
- 1:00:46want to say I'm scoffing at Daniel Jones stuff, but to me,
- 1:00:50MVP is you're carrying a team that has four receivers you
- 1:00:54never heard of or washed up guys and rookies and you're still
- 1:00:58beating legitimate teams with winning records like the 49ers,
- 1:01:02Baker and. Indianapolis isn't doing now.
- 1:01:04What are you talking? No.
- 1:01:05Way. No.
- 1:01:06Way yes, they have. Everybody on there's no one's
- 1:01:08hurt. They have their.
- 1:01:09It doesn't matter that a guy, it doesn't matter.
- 1:01:11It does, no. It does.
- 1:01:12Baker Mayfield's Baker to Ted Johnson.
- 1:01:14Hold on. Baker Mayfield's been there for
- 1:01:16freaking three years. This guy comes over there and he
- 1:01:20shows up and he does it. Wins a job.
- 1:01:22He wins a job. Throwing to practice.
- 1:01:24Stop, stop, stop, stop. Stop.
- 1:01:27Come on. You're you're just taking
- 1:01:28Mayfield. Let's not talking.
- 1:01:30No, no, it's not. What Daniel Jones is doing is
- 1:01:32more impressive. You're wrong.
- 1:01:34You're wrong, dude. You can't give him any credit.
- 1:01:36That's a loaded team. I don't think the loaded loaded.
- 1:01:39Loaded. That's the same team from last
- 1:01:41year and they couldn't do crap. Daniel Jones goes there.
- 1:01:44Anthony Richardson is an abject disaster.
- 1:01:47Stop. And you thought that about
- 1:01:49Daniel Jones, dude, last year. You thought that about Daniel
- 1:01:52Jones, dude, did you not? Did you not?
- 1:01:54You said he's an absolute disaster.
- 1:01:56Did you not say that? Did you not say that?
- 1:01:59Yes or not? Yes.
- 1:02:00Yes or no, fish? Yes or no?
- 1:02:02Yes or no? Yes, Sir.
- 1:02:03OK. You said he was an absolute
- 1:02:06disaster. And that absolute disaster went
- 1:02:08there and he's doing it right there.
- 1:02:11So stop. Yeah, but you're still not.
- 1:02:13You're not arguing my point. You're just yelling at me about
- 1:02:15things. I'm arguing my point.
- 1:02:17My point is that Baker is doing it with nobody around him and
- 1:02:20Daniel Jones, says Daniel. Jones This is his first year he
- 1:02:23came. To a loaded team.
- 1:02:24He's got a loaded tight end, he's good at receiver, he's got
- 1:02:27one of the best running backs. In a loaded tight end one.
- 1:02:29Of the best offensive lines a loaded tight.
- 1:02:31Tell me how that's not a loaded team loaded?
- 1:02:33Tight end that's a rookie, but. He's already top five in the
- 1:02:38league. And Taylor's been up and down
- 1:02:40for the last couple of years, finally.
- 1:02:41Stop. He's a top five running back.
- 1:02:43Taylor was not last year. Taylor was not last year.
- 1:02:46Well, at the end of the year, maybe not, but I'll tell you if
- 1:02:48he's healthy. He played through ankle sprain
- 1:02:50last year. That dude played hurt and move
- 1:02:52on just because. We got to move on.
- 1:02:54Come on. Let's we got the NIT.
- 1:02:56Yeah. No, no, we got, we got a lot of
- 1:02:57things we've. Got some things to do, but I
- 1:03:00don't know, I just feel like I'm winning this point.
- 1:03:02And you? Want you're not no, no really
- 1:03:04you're winning this you're. Not right.
- 1:03:05You know, it's all right. We can move.
- 1:03:06On you're not winning. You're not winning any.
- 1:03:08I get it, we can. Your point was wrong.
- 1:03:10Josh Jacobs, 2 touchdowns on the ground, 93 yards rushing.
- 1:03:14Another, you know, just keeps doing it every year.
- 1:03:16Josh Jacobs, people sleep on him.
- 1:03:18That Packers team is good. Jordan Love, 259 yards touchdown
- 1:03:21and a pick, 26 yards on the ground.
- 1:03:24Matthew Golden, the most involved he's been as a rookie
- 1:03:26so far this season. 3 catches, 86 yards and he had a some
- 1:03:31rushing yards as well. He's been getting carries every
- 1:03:34single game. Something to keep an eye on.
- 1:03:36Flacco was just traded to Cincinnati in his first game.
- 1:03:40He has less than a week of practice, 29 to 45219 and two
- 1:03:44touchdowns, no turnovers. That's kind of crazy that you
- 1:03:48get traded, you know, and you just somehow can pick up the
- 1:03:52offense enough that you can have a real competent performance.
- 1:03:55It's kind of crazy he did that, I think.
- 1:03:57I don't know. The Packers are the better team.
- 1:04:00The Bengals, until they get Joe Burrow back, they're nothing.
- 1:04:03They better hold by week nine, week 10, he comes back and maybe
- 1:04:07makes win seven games or or whatever.
- 1:04:10How many games they have left. They just go on a they go on a
- 1:04:14winning streak and they completely torch teams because
- 1:04:17this is another year loss with the Bengals, another year with a
- 1:04:21quarterback that was come back play of the year.
- 1:04:24What is he going to come back next year and be come back
- 1:04:26player of the year again? I mean, this will be the third
- 1:04:28time he's won it. I mean, it's ridiculous.
- 1:04:31I'm done with this. Yeah, I think.
- 1:04:32This game says more about the Packers than it does about the
- 1:04:34Bengals. They weren't letting the defense
- 1:04:35actually dominate them for a while in that game until
- 1:04:38probably the second quarter, like late in the second quarter.
- 1:04:40Yeah, like this. You said Golden and some big
- 1:04:41plays and eventually Josh Jacobs going to run against a bat front
- 1:04:447. But they were letting him hung
- 1:04:46tough for a while. There's some questionable
- 1:04:48offensive coaching going on there in Green Bay.
- 1:04:50Then maybe can't account for those injuries.
- 1:04:53All right, all right. So Kevin says, yeah, so Kevin,
- 1:04:57you could shut the music. So Kevin told me.
- 1:04:59So I'm reading what everybody says.
- 1:05:01So James says Errol, we need Jaden Reed back.
- 1:05:06Boy, that's not going to happen. So whenever he comes.
- 1:05:09Collarbone, right? Jaden Reed.
- 1:05:11And then Kevin says Flacco trade makes Chase relevant again.
- 1:05:16So thanks for thanks. For noting Kevin, I had to play
- 1:05:19against him this week. So I I don't know how it it
- 1:05:22makes him, it doesn't really matter if he's relevant.
- 1:05:25Honestly, for fantasy, you know? Yeah, well, it doesn't matter.
- 1:05:28I mean, the Bengals, this is another lost year for the
- 1:05:31Bengals. And now Taylor's going to lose
- 1:05:33his job and now they're going to bring in a new coach and and now
- 1:05:36you're going to start over again.
- 1:05:38You just paid Higgins and Jamar Chase and Joe Burrow and you're
- 1:05:41going to go into an offseason where Trey Hendrickson is going
- 1:05:44to go to free agency and you have all these guys.
- 1:05:47You got no future on that defensive side of the ball.
- 1:05:50I I have no idea what the Bengals are going to do.
- 1:05:52I I mean, you're wasting away. Joe Burrows great years of his
- 1:05:57career. It's crazy.
- 1:05:58And Joe Burrow is special. So every time he's out there,
- 1:06:02you know he's going to put on a show.
- 1:06:04So that's all I'm going to say about that.
- 1:06:05It's been absolutely horrible. It's sad.
- 1:06:08It's sad because I root on, I root for Joe Burrow.
- 1:06:10I think he's, in my opinion, straight up talent throwing the
- 1:06:14ball like accuracy and and the way he steps into the pocket.
- 1:06:17I think Joe Burrow is the best quarterback in the NFL doing
- 1:06:20that. So he when he's on, nobody can
- 1:06:23stop that guy. So it's just a shame what what
- 1:06:26the Bengals could have been this year if he was 100% healthy.
- 1:06:29That's it for our show. A shout out to Jabba.
- 1:06:33He's moving three houses. He he actually showed up for a
- 1:06:36little bit of the baseball segment.
- 1:06:38So thank you to Jabba. He he definitely popped right in
- 1:06:41and popped right out. Thank you to my goodster big
- 1:06:44part of our show every single week, goodies, bag of balls.
- 1:06:48I appreciate you. I know you're busy daddy and
- 1:06:51you're, you're doing so many things and I'm going to shoot
- 1:06:53you a call tomorrow. As as you always know, I'm
- 1:06:56definitely going to shoot you a call tomorrow.
- 1:06:57But it was a great, great show. Thank you to all the fans on
- 1:07:02social media. Speedy.
- 1:07:04Speedy was telling me our numbers are driving right now.
- 1:07:07It's been incredible. So say thank you to all, all the
- 1:07:10fans tuning in and listening to us and tuning in to us on all
- 1:07:14the platforms. I don't have to name it.
- 1:07:16You know what platforms you're following us and we'll be back
- 1:07:20on Wednesday. Who do we have coming on?
- 1:07:22All right. Speaking of some SEC football,
- 1:07:23we have a former SEC Football Player of the Year, also was an
- 1:07:25NFL quarterback. He played for Washington, the
- 1:07:27Raiders, the Bears and one other team I forget offhand.
- 1:07:29Jason Campbell will be joining the show.
- 1:07:31He now does Auburn Radio radio broadcasting as well and has a
- 1:07:35podcast on the Believe Network as well, which is the same as
- 1:07:37what our friend Bilal Powell. Has.
- 1:07:39Yeah. And just so everybody knows, we
- 1:07:40were asked to go on the believe network and I decided two years
- 1:07:45ago, me and Speedy, I decided not to go on the believe network
- 1:07:48because I didn't like their offer.
- 1:07:50We were going to talk a little Nick's basketball at that point,
- 1:07:54but believe is doing some amazing things or a good podcast
- 1:07:57organization, a big organization.
- 1:07:59And they've got a lot of guys just like Blue wire with us.
- 1:08:02And thank you to Nick because Nick, Nick was behind all of
- 1:08:05that and, and, and getting us the hook up with Blue Wire and,
- 1:08:09and thank you to Blue Wire as well for letting us shout out to
- 1:08:13Kyle. I reached out to Kyle today.
- 1:08:14He was sensational. Thank you to Kyle for, you know,
- 1:08:18obviously reaching back to me. So yeah, we'll be back on
- 1:08:20Wednesday and we're looking forward to it.
- 1:08:22So as everybody knows, suck my Indo.
- 1:08:25Good night everybody. It is the worldwide sports radio
- 1:08:29network.
