Latest / Podcast - Big 98.7 / Naïve thoughts we all have had
Transcript
- 0:00How about this. I found a list of the most naive thoughts a person
- 0:02could have. And let me tell you, when I say we've all had
- 0:05these, I mean we've all had these. Okay, Like number six on
- 0:09the list was thinking that you can reason with a bouncer or somebody in that
- 0:14sort of position. And remember when we went to Vegas one time and I
- 0:17got kicked out of one of the more exclusive clubs in Vegas. I do
- 0:19remember that, Yeah, you were scared of heights, but he thought you
- 0:21had had too many talities. Well I wasn't scared of heights. What he's
- 0:25talking about, isn't that why you got sick? No, I threw up
- 0:27in the bathroom, and there's like a pretty firm no throwing up in Vegas
- 0:30policy, and so they threw me out. But I was explaining to them
- 0:33that it wasn't that I was like too drunk. It was that I just
- 0:37like kind of had a little tummy thing going on, and throwing up made
- 0:40me feel better. And I sat there with this bouncer for like twenty minutes
- 0:44on a bucket in the kitchen, like he brought me in the back,
- 0:47and I was just like pleading my case in like the most sober way possible,
- 0:51and I got to the point where he's like, Okay, I will
- 0:54concede that you are not too drunk. However, there's no going back.
- 0:57You have to leave. You gotta leave. The only time I remember trying
- 1:00to have this conversation, I was at a bar in Minneapolis for a bachelorette
- 1:03party and I city my feet hurt so bad, so I had my shoes
- 1:08in my hands and we were on the dance floor and they're like, you
- 1:11cannot be barefoot. That's disgusting and you gotta get out. I'm like,
- 1:14no, like, I'm not drying. My feet just hurt. Though,
- 1:17Yeah, it doesn't matter, lady, Like, you gotta get the shoes
- 1:19on or you gotta get out, Like, but I just want to give
- 1:23my dance on I can. Yeah, I'm sure you are just stones over
- 1:26of course. Yeah. The one of the more naive thoughts of person could
- 1:30have, thinking that someone who likes your Instagram story likes you, like has
- 1:34a crush. I guess I have never went through now, But if you're
- 1:37single, integraciate people like your Instagram story. Ever, I know you've had
- 1:41this thought. I've had this thought with like somebody looks at my snapchat story,
- 1:44I'm even if they just look at it. Yeah, hey, fun
- 1:48facts. Usually I'm just cruising through. I'm like, nothing usually gets your
- 1:52attention. It's gotta be something real wild. I don't even know I'm friends
- 1:57with you. Meanwhile, they're over there going, oh yeah, this guy's
- 2:00you saw it again, didn't you. You're stocking me about thinking that a
- 2:04friend that gossips about her other friends to you doesn't gossip about you too.
- 2:08Oh yeah, that's like one of the hardest things to realize. Like,
- 2:12m you're talking bad about everybody we know, but what are you doing when
- 2:15you were with them? You know, absolutely, But then thinking that there's
- 2:19nothing about me they could talk about. What would they say? What would
- 2:21they say about me? Flawless, perfect human? It's funny because I really
- 2:25don't think about that. But now that you brought that up, I know
- 2:28you're sooner realizing that, Oh yeah, you're a little friend, MICHAELA.
- 2:31What do you think she says about you? Nothing? What could she say?
- 2:36Another naive thing that people think, thinking that you're getting the better version
- 2:39of someone that treated someone else poorly. Gosh, you see this a lot.
- 2:45Yeah, isn't funny. It seems kind of wild. I know you
- 2:47see him and it's like, well, just as an outsider, I know
- 2:51what you're telling you what they didn't maybe the last relationship? What about that
- 2:55makes you think? You know? You want to want to be involved here?
- 2:59People change, and you know what, sometimes you're the person that makes
- 3:02them change. That's right that you can't usually how it goes down. Don't
- 3:06let anyone ever tell you you can't change that person. Okay, it's gonna
- 3:10be nobody else could, but you're gonna be the one. It took me
- 3:13a while to learn that one. Oh god, Yeah, well okay,
- 3:16next, all right, no, okay. Number one on the most naive
- 3:19thoughts you could have telling someone a secret and thinking that it's still a secret.
- 3:23Oh gosh, I have a couple, do you really? Yeah,
- 3:25I feel like you're actually a vault. I'll tell you something and well,
- 3:29yeah, I was gonna say it, because what secrets do you have?
- 3:30Because I'm pretty sure you've told me those secrets? You're a vault and I
- 3:34have, like one other person, I love doing the old who would I
- 3:37tell? All I do is hang out with my husband and my kids.
- 3:43I would never tell anybody four drinks. Hey, anybody, I got a
- 3:47story, come over, gather around kids, like in a minute in the
- 3:52morning, big nutty eight point seven. Have you ever think about this?
- 3:57Have you ever broken up with somebody for a very little, old, kind
- 4:00of petty reason, but totally justifiable in your mind. People are sharing this
- 4:03online, like somebody said they broke up with a girl because they were constantly
- 4:06saying Chipotte instead of Chipotle. That was too much, that was too much
- 4:12fun. No, obviously a lot of these are like, they're not gonna
- 4:15be the only reason, but it was, you know, kind of what
- 4:17pushed it over the edge. You're like, okay, that's super annoying.
- 4:20Yeah, no, I don't. Usually it's just like there was another woman
- 4:24or something involved. It's so dumb not to rogue here. But that's typically
- 4:30the game having to you quite often, or what yeah, or the other
- 4:32way around. Fancy moving on? Fancy I said fancy? Yeah, No,
- 4:39no, I was. I don't even know if you're gonna throw the
- 4:42word dating around, but it was hanging out with this person for a moment
- 4:45in my single year and uh, and she was just very tall and if
- 4:48you've seen me, you know I'm not, so it was like, I
- 4:51don't even know if I can do this. You know, it's just kind
- 4:54of for me. It was just a I'm just envisioning you at high school
- 4:57dances and you're just like like dancing and dancing faces in their belly button.
- 5:03Yeah, tell me, I shut you want to kiss? Yeah, there's
- 5:08a whole down variety of things that just kind of wouldn't work with that anyway.
- 5:13People also said she added me to her friend's family group chat after a
- 5:15week of dating. Oh my yikes, are you serious? That's crazy town.
- 5:21Oh, I wouldn't run for the hills. My husband and I have
- 5:25been together six years and he doesn't want to be a part of my family
- 5:28group chats. Honestly, I'm with Nick. You know, my my wife's
- 5:30family. I think they have their own. I'm probably in one, but
- 5:33like, you know, the secondary group chat. Yeah, like I don't
- 5:35need to be in the original one, you know. And my siblings and
- 5:39I we have our own without our significant others. We started one on my
- 5:43mom's side when my grandpa died, and there's probably twenty five people on it,
- 5:46and they just feel like that's where people should just a group text and
- 5:49it is, I would mute. I would mute that so quickly? Can
- 5:54you mute it? A chat? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, they do
- 5:58like it's a life sabling you do that because I mean it's that yeah.
- 6:01I mean then again probably not in an maybe in ten years. Other people
- 6:05found it. They were dating a girl who wouldn't stop talking to them in
- 6:09an annoying baby voice. Like if they said, hey, I'm gonna go
- 6:13hang out with so and so, she would say, girl, Flynn go
- 6:15too. And I if I said no, if you put on a sad
- 6:18voice and say girl, Flynn go too, that would be else. Would
- 6:23you do? Just start drinking? I feel like you're the baby voice girl
- 6:29too? Though me, no, you totally are, absolutely not. Even
- 6:32with my kids, I didn't really do baby talk. That's not really.
- 6:35Do you speak to your kids like an adult? I always wondering because it's
- 6:39really hard to resist the urge to talk to kids like a baby. Yeah.
- 6:42The worst thing that I do is talk talk to my husband through the
- 6:46kids like who's ready to do the dishes? Stop it and hopes that you
- 6:50know, Dad would be like, hey, I'll help the kids do the
- 6:53dishes. What do you say, he's here, two year old who's ready
- 6:57to do the dishes? You know? Not you, you're two years old.
- 7:00See, I wonder if anybody else in the room could in the morning.
- 7:05Well, it's about time, you know. It's Barbie, this Barbie,
- 7:08that Barbie, Barbie, Barbie. You know, it's about time we
- 7:10celebrated a little Ken. And thank god for TikTok because it's gone viral.
- 7:17The quote my Ken trend is all about celebrating your Ken the can in your
- 7:23life. Jeez, I sure have a Ken in my life. You absolutely
- 7:26do. I have one of the better Ken's I know is your husband Nick.
- 7:29The trend is basically where you comment on your your Ken's job or hobby
- 7:33in the simplest terms. Like the big one that went viral is this woman
- 7:38talking about her business can because they were going to the Barbie movie and business
- 7:42can comes walking in still in a suit, you know, on a zoom
- 7:45call, but still putting all that aside to go to Barbie with her.
- 7:48What a guy business can. And now the fun part is you have to
- 7:50comments like basically what your accessory the accessories that come with your can, Like
- 7:56in business Ken's casey comes with a briefcase and an excuse for being late.
- 8:00It's funny. So I just happened to jump on TikTok to follow this challenge,
- 8:05and I think we could put you and Nick in the same exact Miken
- 8:09category. Are you ready for it? Everyone is showing their ken's job.
- 8:13This is my ken. His job is golf course. He is really good
- 8:18at golf course. He comes with a pink shirt. Maybe maybe not.
- 8:22I don't know what color I wear a I have a magenta Okay. Nick
- 8:26wears a salmon shirt without a work, a beer and his own set of
- 8:28golf clubs. Yeah, I would say golf can definitely comes with a you
- 8:35know, four iron through pitching wedge and just casual drinking slash gambling problem.
- 8:41Gambling problem. That's hilarious. I like this trend. I think it's kind
- 8:46of fun. I think it's fun too. Are you gonna can Nick when
- 8:48you get home? Yeah, I'm sure I have some footage. I could
- 8:50probably whip one up. Yeah, I'm trying to think of what else?
- 8:54Fishing? Yeah, a tackle box once again, a nice cold beer.
- 9:00I'm going to see a trend? Yeah, a little bitches. What do
- 9:03you uh now is can't I haven't seen the movie, have you. We've
- 9:07not seen but his Ken in the movie is here. Are they dating?
- 9:09Because you know, growing up they're not into Gracie shaking your head? Are
- 9:13they not dating? Well, Kennon wants to date, wants to see.
- 9:16I grew up thinking that they were just exclusive. Yeah, that that was
- 9:20just Kennon Barbie. And then that Malibou girl came along. Remember Malibou Barbie
- 9:26Barbie see. And this is what's so funny. Everybody is like, I
- 9:28can't believe you haven't seen this. I could not be more out of the
- 9:33loop when it comes to all of this. I honestly I don't. I
- 9:37never remember kind of playing Barbies. But then my mom would get mad at
- 9:39me because I chopped off their hair and their heads and she stopped buying me
- 9:41Barbie. Yeah, because they were too expensive. I did worse with the
- 9:43Barbies, but we won't get into that. Inappropriate Ken in the morning,
- 9:52Are you a bedroom parent? I am a parent and I have a bedroom.
- 9:56Does that make me a bedroom parent? Not necessarily? A woman's gone
- 10:01viral on TikTok for talking about how she wants to not be a bedroom parent
- 10:05because she grew up with bedroom parents where see if this sounds familiar to you,
- 10:09and she grew up like in the nineties, so okay. Basically to
- 10:11her, when her parents were in their bedroom, you did not go in
- 10:15there. You had to knock on the door and wait until they gave you
- 10:18approval to come in. Oh God, and then once you did, you
- 10:20had to be quick. And they spent a lot of time in the bedroom.
- 10:24It was like their escape from their children. Bedroom parents. Yeah.
- 10:28No, I feel like our house is more of an open door policy,
- 10:31and we have little kids. Maybe down the road that will change when it's
- 10:33you know, you leave them un attendant for ten minutes and somebody could have
- 10:37cut their hair, there could be markers on the wall. Yeah, what
- 10:39is his estop? Because I you know, we got our four and two
- 10:41year old nephew. Now that we're living with it, it's like, I
- 10:45feel like you always got to have an eye on them. Yeah, it's
- 10:46a wild card, like you just never really know if it's quiet for more
- 10:50than a minute, what you're doing, what's going on. But just in
- 10:54general, I don't remember my parents ever really hanging out in the bedroom.
- 10:58I feel like we had kind of everybody in their own living Yeah, well
- 11:01you're describing living room parents, which is to her, the better option.
- 11:07She's striving, striving to be a living room parent because it feels like,
- 11:09you know, everyone's together, and when your parents are hiding, it's like,
- 11:13well don't they love me? See I don't even remember, Like I
- 11:15still don't know what my parents' bedroom looks like on the inside. Really I
- 11:18tried to yeah, right, it was just like this person described. Yeah,
- 11:22I did try to go in there once. I remember when I was
- 11:24probably like nine years old, but we had just moved out to the country,
- 11:28you know, the outside of Glyndon, and it was all you know.
- 11:31I was scared. It was a young child. I'm like, every
- 11:33time a car drove by, I'm like, well, they're coming to kill
- 11:35us. So but I remember going downstairs one night because I was scared,
- 11:39and I don't even know what I wanted. I just want to tell my
- 11:41dad I was scared, and I knocked on the door and without thinking,
- 11:45just opened the door. And I'll tell you what was scarier than what was
- 11:48going on upstairs is what I saw going on in there. And I will
- 11:54never be the same. I just kind of feel like that's yeah, the
- 11:58older you get. Yeah, I can't imagine, just like, well,
- 12:01I don't think I would have enjoyed it anymore, that's true. Why not
- 12:05have remembered it as much? But yeah, I don't Dad. He was
- 12:11quite the bedroom parent. Like in a minute in the morning on Big Nutty
- 12:16eight point seven, Good morning together, morning, How are we doing today?
- 12:24I'm okay, all right, you seem a little nervous. Yeah,
- 12:31yeah, I am. It's a very brave thing of you to do.
- 12:33Here was we try to get you out of the friend zone, because that's
- 12:37what we do. You know, you found yourself in a little situation.
- 12:39You want to continue or pursue this relationship with a guy at work? Is
- 12:43that right? Oh boy? Yeah? So, I mean I have this
- 12:48like amazing coworker, Bret, and he's just been so good to me.
- 12:54You know, he even took the blame for a big mistake I made and
- 12:58Brett's taking bullets for you at the office on Yeah, it was so sweet.
- 13:03I don't know, I'm kind of like a little shy, so I
- 13:07would say right off the get go, that sounds like a guy that's got
- 13:09a crush on you, because I mean, I don't know about you,
- 13:11Amanda, but I would I would not do that for many people at work.
- 13:13You know, we don't take bullets for each other here at work.
- 13:16If anything, the opposite would be blaming each other. Okay, So have
- 13:20you outside of just kind of that office relationship, have you ever texted or
- 13:26done like a happy hour? I mean, you know, just work functions,
- 13:30you know, texting about work. You know, we're you know,
- 13:33he always helps me out when I need, you know, I have a
- 13:35question, and that, you know, taking the blame for me was so
- 13:39nice. Like I don't know, I don't know if he's just like a
- 13:41nice guy or maybe there is something and I just don't know how to I
- 13:46don't know. I'm just not used to guys being nice. So it seems
- 13:48like from our experience it is always a possibility that he is just being nice,
- 13:52but you never know. And for legal purposes, Heather, we do
- 13:56have to ask, is like this a boss or a management position type person
- 14:00or anybody below? Ye? Yeah, got it? Nothing weird? Perfect.
- 14:05Well, here's what we'll do, Heather. We're gonna see if we
- 14:07can help you out here and get you out of the friend zone. We're
- 14:09gonna talk to Brett kind of feel him out, and you're gonna be real
- 14:13quiet, stay quiet in the background, and then we're gonna bring you on
- 14:16at the end. Okay, okay, so I'm good. Oh my gosh,
- 14:18I'm nervous for this one. I don't know what's his little telephone number
- 14:22here that you gave us. Hello? Hey, is this Brent? Yeah,
- 14:28this is Brett. Hey Brett, It's Pike and Amanda in the morning
- 14:31on Big ninety two point seven. We do a morning radio show in town.
- 14:35Do you mind if we talk to you for a second? Oh?
- 14:37Cool, yes, sure, Well we have a question. First of all,
- 14:41Brett, do you happen to be single? If you don't mind us
- 14:43asking? Yeah, okay, why well, it's just you know, the
- 14:46reason we ask is because we've heard from somebody that they've got a crush on
- 14:52you. Really, really, who did that? That's crazy? I mean,
- 14:58is there anybody that comes to mind when we say somebody has a crush
- 15:00on you? Are you hoping it somebody? Or I don't even know if
- 15:05I can think right now, But no, I mean I'm shocked. All
- 15:09I do is work and not much else. Really, I'm not interesting.
- 15:13We speaking of work, Brett, I mean anybody at the office you can
- 15:16think of that you might have a little crush on or feel like has a
- 15:18crush on you. No, no, not in the office. So nobody
- 15:24comes to mind. Let's like rack your brain a little bit. Nobody there
- 15:26giving you a little extra lingering look or helpful or anything like that, or
- 15:33maybe somebody you helped recently. I made a big mistake. Oh, oh
- 15:41my god, are you talking about Heather ding Ding Yes, Brett, we're
- 15:45talking about Heather. I don't know what you covered up, but you got
- 15:46her attention. We hear that you're just taking bullets for her at the office.
- 15:52What was going on there? Oh? Well, look, I mean
- 15:58I was basically just over and for a coworker. You know, we're kind
- 16:00of like a team. But I mean I never thought this. I'm kind
- 16:04of I'm shocked. Okay, so I know it is shocking. I feel
- 16:10like you are really caught off guard by this. But is Heather somebody you
- 16:14would be interested in maybe going out for a drink with getting to know where
- 16:18a little bit better outside of taking bullets at the office. I'll be honest
- 16:25with you, I mean, I've never really thought about it. I'm being
- 16:27really honest. Yeah, Brett, here's the thing. We do a thing
- 16:30on a radio show called the friend Zone. So it's where we're basically trying
- 16:34to get people out of that friend zone and to the next step. And
- 16:37so that's what we're trying to do here. And actually the fun surprise at
- 16:41the end is Heather's been on the phone the entire time. So let's say
- 16:45good morning to Heather. Hey, hi, Bret. Now, Brett,
- 16:51Heather was admittedly, I'm very very nervous to do this, so we gotta
- 16:56first applaud her for, you know, facing her fear. I guess,
- 16:59do you have anything to say to either after all of that or Heather,
- 17:00maybe you have something to ask Brett. I'm just like kind of super embarrassed.
- 17:07Now, I don't know, Like Brett, I know, I don't
- 17:12know, like I really appreciate what you did for me there, I work
- 17:18everything. I mean, actually, this is really sweet if I'm like really
- 17:26thinking about it, so you know, see, Heather he thinks it's sweet.
- 17:30Yeah, I mean, if you want to go out, I'm sure,
- 17:33I mean I can meet you for a drink that that would be cool
- 17:34with me. What Heather, It's all working out. See, this could
- 17:37have been really embarrassing, and I will admit that, but it sounds like
- 17:41it's it's going great. Yeah, I'm still embarrassed, but definitely definitely would
- 17:47love to get a drink. You guys, you two go get a drink.
- 17:52This sounds adorable. Let us know what happens, all right, cool?
- 17:56I mean I wasn't. I'll take it all right, Look at that.
- 18:00They're gonna be uncomfortable maybe, but you guys just have a drink and
- 18:03let that liquid courage go. That's right. If there's anything I know about,
- 18:06drinks makes things easier. So have fun, you guys. Thanks for
- 18:11Heather, nice work. Thank you so much for doing this with us.
- 18:14You like it, Amanda in the morning on seven. Now here's what you
- 18:22need to know. Governor Bergham has declared a teacher emergency, allowing schools more
- 18:26flexibility and addressing the states teacher shortage. Now we've been talking about the bus
- 18:30shortage, but the declaration will allow school districts temporarily well, there's no shortage
- 18:34as of buses getting I'm sorry, but more than enough buses. Speaking of
- 18:40that, did you see that in Minnesota? Oh? This is this is
- 18:42a moment. I shouldn't even admit to this. Oh please do. Yesterday
- 18:45I was watching the news and they said Minnesota school buses are going green,
- 18:49and I'm thinking yes, and I am thinking, I like the yellow ones.
- 18:56Why are you doing that? I'm like, do they stick out too
- 18:59much? Isn't that the whole point? Like? Why are they gonna keep
- 19:03messing with things? And so I'm sitting in the kitchen and I again,
- 19:07I just am reading the headline and my mind is going, I'm just thinking,
- 19:11gosh, gosh, gosh. So I turn up the volume to finally
- 19:17hear the interview really grab guys like, oh no, because of energy.
- 19:21I'm like, oh yeah, that's why we're gonna do that. Oh my
- 19:25gosh. They are planning to actually start moving student teachers into that position.
- 19:30And they are saying, right now, this is just a band aid,
- 19:33not a permanent solution. But this is this is a severe crisis in my
- 19:36opinion, I mean, these are our kids, this is education. Come
- 19:38on now, we got to figure this out. At some point We're gonna
- 19:42end up like me, who don't know the difference between going green and a
- 19:47school bust being painted green. I mean, you could be in radio.
- 19:51So there's that pretty good. They're so free of kids. After all,
- 19:55someone in Florida won a one point five billion dollars Jack bought last night for
- 20:00the Mega millions. It looks like it was just one person. It wasn't
- 20:03a group pool or anything like that. No, don't have any other details.
- 20:06Not sure if we'll ever find out. I feel like usually we kind
- 20:08of get something's well. We knew all about the guy that wanted like a
- 20:11two bill in California. Whatever he bought I think three mansions in the first
- 20:15month. That's crazy, am I Am I a bad person for being glad
- 20:19that nobody I know want it? Yeah, because when you want a little
- 20:22something, I think you would what Okay, anybody I know who wouldn't give
- 20:26me money? Yeah, of course, yeah. If you were going to
- 20:29give me money, then gosh darn it. Next time, I'd probably give
- 20:33you a few thousand you okay, because earlier you said a million and then
- 20:36I said, well that's crazy, and then it would have been a group
- 20:37pool, so I would have already been down to millions, not billion.
- 20:41Honestly, if you said I'll give you a thousand bucks, I would just
- 20:44say keep it, I'd say I never want to see you again. Swifties
- 20:49are still going crazy. They're still fighting with Ticketmaster because she added some more
- 20:55dates. So as of August fifth, you had to register to get these
- 20:57tickets for the verified on sale. Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry, Am
- 21:03I boring you over there? I'm just didn't get tickets quite the yawn it
- 21:08was yawning. Sorry anyway. So who didn't get tickets? Pretty much everybody,
- 21:12because yesterday they signed with the email for the people who were able to
- 21:15get the verified tickets, and then they put the rest of the people on
- 21:18a wait list. So people thought, oh, I'm on the wait list
- 21:21and this is exciting, and then they put chances are very slim that they're
- 21:25not all gonna go. See this is why it's hard to be a tailor
- 21:26swift fan. See the trick is you got to be a fan of sort
- 21:30of like now middle aged pop punk bands from the early two thousands. It's
- 21:34so easy to get into those shows. Yeah youah, just like walk up
- 21:37and tickets are still available day out, big fan, kind of like an
- 21:41LS show. Who it was low? You're done? That was low?
- 21:48All right? Weather? I is today sunny high of seventy eight. It's
- 21:49perfect Gulf weather. Will I know you're going to going low for League Night
- 21:53tonight? But no, I actually I will say you were right about the
- 21:56LS tickets because they did just go on sale for ten year anniversary show,
- 22:00So believe it or not, there are plenty left and that's going to be
- 22:03October fourteenth there at Fargo Brewing, So ten years. Can you believe it's
- 22:07been ten years? No? Actually, because I remember the first concert and
- 22:11I believe you had a guy up there that had a guitar unplugged fight.
- 22:17Who would have thunked you got an album and everything just big time. We're
- 22:19over here. Anyway, back to the weather, it's beautiful today. Oh
- 22:23love it? Oh No, Nanda Stills the Sea let's see brought to you
- 22:30by a Valley Service Mechanical. There doesn't seem to be a lot of backlash
- 22:34over Ariana Grande and the love triangle situation that went went on a couple of
- 22:40weeks ago. Those close to her say that she's just giving Ethan his space
- 22:44so he can try to work through everything because he is the one that has
- 22:45a kid involved in this situation. But we're also finding out some more details
- 22:49because we all knew that she was on the set with Ethan and that the
- 22:55wife Lily was there and they would go out for dinners and such. But
- 22:57now we're finding out that Ariana even at their baby held him. It went
- 23:02to a couple of dinners and at one point there was conversation about Ariana saying
- 23:06how much she wanted to have a baby one day and could wait to start
- 23:08a family. Basically, I'm gonna take your child. That's now. Yeah,
- 23:15I'm gonna say, hey, I'm your stepmama. I just that's ikey
- 23:18to me. It all feels icky, but there's really no rules when it
- 23:21comes to love and war. How deep is that? Wow, I don't
- 23:26even have anything to say. I'm just letting that sink in steal you.
- 23:29It is you. But you know, what backlash do you want? What
- 23:32is he even doing? What could we backlash against? I'm not gonna go
- 23:33see wicked if that helps. No, it's just is that that was going
- 23:37to be the line. It's just the I'm a woman hearing me roor you
- 23:41know how sometimes people and kind of to be fair, there was that weird
- 23:44overlap with the Taylor Swift situation and people just kind of let that one go.
- 23:48Some people get a pass, some people do well as they say,
- 23:51no rules when it comes to love and war. All right, Adam Divine,
- 23:55he is blaming superhero movies for the death of big screen comedies. I
- 24:00was trying to think of the last movie I went to that was hilarious and
- 24:03it has to be and this it sound old, but Napoleon Dynamite I went
- 24:07to probably three or four times in college, and that was like one hundred
- 24:10years ago, I know. But since then, you know, there was
- 24:11like the Golden Era throughout the two thousands. And maybe I'm just saying it
- 24:15because I was in like high school college, you know, going to see
- 24:17like super Bad and all the Seth Rogan movies and James Franco and like that
- 24:21Arrow Hot Tub Time Machine. Like there was so many good comedies and then
- 24:25they just stopped making them. Maybe I'm just not looking, but I just
- 24:27don't remember seeing many like good rated art comedies. Yeah, I'm trying to
- 24:33think of the last one that I went, oh, yeah, that's a
- 24:34good movie that I would want to go inside. Even the last one,
- 24:37I'm like, bad Grandpa, Like what year was that? Oh my gosh,
- 24:40that was a good one, but I never went to the theater to
- 24:41see it. It's a bad grand or dirty Grandpa? Dirty, dirty,
- 24:44dirty Grandpa. Oh, it's bad, Bobby DeNiro Zac is it dirty or
- 24:48bad? I think there might be one of there's also probably a bad Grandpa
- 24:52movie. I don't know. I will tell you this that he is basically
- 24:56saying that he thinks Marvel ruined it. He feels that superhero movies it because
- 25:00you go to the theater and you expect to watch something that costs two hundred
- 25:03million dollars to make. Comedies just simply aren't that. So now you're thinking,
- 25:06why did I spend all this money to go just watch that? And
- 25:08for their sake, they're not going to make it because it's easy make a
- 25:11superhero movie, make a gazillion dollars. But ba being bought a boom,
- 25:15I could do it. Integracie, what you find out? It's a dirty,
- 25:18dirty and grandpa. Gosh, that was a good one. I don't
- 25:21even I've never even seen it. You haven't, Oh, you would crack
- 25:23up the whole time. What are you saying that? No, it is
- 25:26because it is so funny? Is it right up my alley? It is
- 25:30of me, of all people with love. It's seen it like three or
- 25:33four times, so you know it's good. Okay, Well, but you
- 25:34and I have decided we have totally different senses of humor. Yeah, like
- 25:38I like funny stuff and you you like Seinfeld. I don't. That pretty
- 25:42much is cutting dry? Yeah, just cutting cut and dry. That you
- 25:48guys talked about this on Monday about Ed Sharon doing a gender reveal on stage
- 25:52in Kansas City over weekend. Oh yeah, James and I. Yeah,
- 25:56that's a good show, probably one of the best yet. Really this week.
- 26:02I'm just teasing. I'm horsing around, all right, do you want
- 26:06me to give you a seconds? So this is hilarious. The girl who
- 26:14had the whole gender reveal ended up giving the information to a friend, well,
- 26:18the family friend who gave the information to whomever an Ed Sheeran's cap read
- 26:23it wrong. Oh so when she looked at the record, she saw a
- 26:26female, But that was because that was the patient, not the actual kid.
- 26:30So it wasn't a girl after all, It was a boy. Who
- 26:33did they put in charge of nont No, It seems super crazy and I've
- 26:36never received a piece of paper like that. Does that make sense? Like
- 26:38every time I've gone through gender reveal, it wasn't Doctor Prince like of what
- 26:42a confusing letter with like you know the patient's name and gender and then the
- 26:47baby's gender. I don't know. It feels really convoluted here, and I
- 26:49don't think they're making it up because she says it's hilarious. It was a
- 26:53memorable night and now we'll be able to tell our little boy. Hey,
- 26:56Ed Sheeran said you were going to be a girl, because whoever botched it,
- 27:00would you be upset if you went home thinking it was a girl only
- 27:03to find out it was a boy. Yeah, I mean I've had shared
- 27:07during my gender reveal. That's just cool. That's pretty neat, And honestly,
- 27:10it doesn't really matter what boy or girl. Says a girl that has
- 27:14a boy and a girl. Tell my friends who like keep having girls,
- 27:18you know, Hey, no, we have a few friends like that.
- 27:19They're like, come on, really, what it happens. I think my
- 27:23wife said that when she was born they thought she was a boy for whatever
- 27:27reason, like the scan. I don't know what was going on on the
- 27:30scan, she was a boy.
