Birds Weekly: Ray Didinger, Derrick Gunn Preview Philadelphia Eagles Vs. Buffalo Bills In Week 17 · Inside the Birds: A Philadelphia Eagles Podcast

• 0:10
Speaker 1: Hey there, this is the preview edition of Birds Weekly
• 0:12
Speaker 1: presented by the Inside the Birds Network. For my man
• 0:15
Speaker 1: right there, Ray didn't drum Derek Gunn and oh my,
• 0:18
Speaker 1: what a heavyweight matchup the Eagles are facing coming up
• 0:21
Speaker 1: this weekend and possibly and possibly a Super Bowl preview
• 0:27
Speaker 1: as the Eagles hit the road and take the snowy
• 0:29
Speaker 1: Buffalo to take on the Buffalo Bills. And Ray, when
• 0:33
Speaker 1: you look at this Buffalo team, you know they're sitting
• 0:36
Speaker 1: at eleven and four right now, they are six and
• 0:40
Speaker 1: one at home. They have not been the dominant team,
• 0:43
Speaker 1: especially on defense that they were a season ago, but
• 0:47
Speaker 1: they find ways to win games. And I want to
• 0:50
Speaker 1: start with the hit man, Sean McDermott, somebody we have
• 0:53
Speaker 1: a lot of history with. You know, when Sean dermott
• 0:56
Speaker 1: McDermott was here with the Eagles, you know he had multiples,
• 1:01
Speaker 1: you know, multiple positions and of course his biggest one
• 1:04
Speaker 1: was the defensive coordinator. Now he's been the head coach
• 1:07
Speaker 1: of the Buffalo Bills since twenty eighteen. He's won five
• 1:11
Speaker 1: consecutive divisional titles, but he hasn't gotten to the big show,
• 1:17
Speaker 1: hasn't won the brass ring. But I think it says
• 1:20
Speaker 1: a lot about him in terms of how the organization
• 1:22
Speaker 1: feels about him, that he is still the head been
• 1:26
Speaker 1: in charge. I mean, we've seen coaches at winning records
• 1:28
Speaker 1: and get bounced because they can't get past the first
• 1:31
Speaker 1: or second round of playoffs. But yet the Bill's organization
• 1:34
Speaker 1: is stuck with him. And from my own personal opinion,
• 1:37
Speaker 1: because I've known him for a long time, I think
• 1:39
Speaker 1: he's a perfect man for that job. I think he
• 1:41
Speaker 1: has a right demeanor. He's not a yeller, not a screamer.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: He doesn't demean as players, and his players play for him,
• 1:48
Speaker 1: which is the most important thing.
• 1:50
Speaker 2: Exactly right and truly fine weed. When I first got
• 1:57
Speaker 2: to know Sean, he was not even a position coach.
• 2:02
Speaker 2: He was he was Andy's administrative assistant, you know, I
• 2:08
Speaker 2: mean he was. It was Andy's guy who I remember
• 2:14
Speaker 2: one of his jobs. I was working for NFL Films
• 2:18
Speaker 2: at the time, and Andy gave us believe it or not,
• 2:22
Speaker 2: Andy gave us the green light to do like a
• 2:25
Speaker 2: hard knocks thing with his team for a whole week
• 2:29
Speaker 2: for a game, which I never I never dreamed that
• 2:32
Speaker 2: Andy would open, would would let a film crew come in.
• 2:35
Speaker 2: I mean, you know how Andy was. But this was
• 2:38
Speaker 2: the year. This was the year two thousand. It was
• 2:40
Speaker 2: Andy's year number two uh, And Steve Sable asked me
• 2:45
Speaker 2: to go. He said, why don't you ask Andy if
• 2:46
Speaker 2: he'll let us do a It was called six Days
• 2:49
Speaker 2: to Sunday and it was live basically imbed your crew
• 2:54
Speaker 2: with a team for an entire week as they got
• 2:56
Speaker 2: ready to prepare to play a game. And I said, Steve,
• 2:59
Speaker 2: there's away Andy Reid is going to agree to that. Well,
• 3:05
Speaker 2: I'll be dorn if he didn't. And so he opened
• 3:09
Speaker 2: the door to us. And so I was the director
• 3:12
Speaker 2: and I was heading the film crew down there. And
• 3:15
Speaker 2: we're down there and Andy's rule was you have to
• 3:17
Speaker 2: work the same hours as the coaches, so we had
• 3:20
Speaker 2: to be there. We had to be there at five
• 3:21
Speaker 2: point thirty in the morning, and we were there till
• 3:24
Speaker 2: like ten o'clock at night. We shot a million feet
• 3:27
Speaker 2: of film during that week. And but that was when
• 3:31
Speaker 2: I got to know Sean, because Sean was he was right.
• 3:34
Speaker 2: He was at like attached to Andy's hip that whole
• 3:37
Speaker 2: week and doing all the administrative stuff. And one of
• 3:41
Speaker 2: his jobs was every day that he would come in
• 3:45
Speaker 2: with all of the newspapers and put them on Andy's desk.
• 3:50
Speaker 2: The Inquirer, the Daily News, the Camden Courier Post, the
• 3:54
Speaker 2: Bucks County Courier Times, the Wilmington News Journal, and he'd
• 3:57
Speaker 2: have them all on Andy's desk. And this this is
• 4:01
Speaker 2: the coach who always told us that I don't read
• 4:03
Speaker 2: the papers, right. No, he made sure they run his
• 4:05
Speaker 2: desk every morning and that was one of Seawan's jobs.
• 4:08
Speaker 2: So over the course of that week, I spent a
• 4:10
Speaker 2: lot of time around Sean and then watched him go
• 4:13
Speaker 2: up the ranks to secondary coach and then finally defensive coordinator.
• 4:17
Speaker 2: And to see how in a lot of ways he
• 4:20
Speaker 2: was a mirror of Andy. You know, intense preparation, you know,
• 4:25
Speaker 2: you know, check every box, tireless worker, keen on detail.
• 4:31
Speaker 2: I mean he learned from Andy, there's no question. And
• 4:33
Speaker 2: he borrowed the Andy playbook.
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: Uh.
• 4:36
Speaker 2: And when he finally got a chance to be a
• 4:40
Speaker 2: head coach, I had a feeling he was going to
• 4:42
Speaker 2: be real successful. And he got the perfect opportunity up
• 4:45
Speaker 2: in Buffalo, you know, and he has now built that
• 4:47
Speaker 2: Bills team into a team that was really good and
• 4:53
Speaker 2: can carry it over a year after year and I
• 4:55
Speaker 2: really think the feeling that the exists in Buffalo now is, Look,
• 4:59
Speaker 2: they were really good and they had the makings of
• 5:02
Speaker 2: the Super Bowl team for several years now, and they
• 5:05
Speaker 2: couldn't get past the Chiefs. That was there, that was
• 5:10
Speaker 2: their achilles heel. You know, they would get so far
• 5:13
Speaker 2: and they would really seem this might be the year,
• 5:15
Speaker 2: this might be the year, and they couldn't. They would
• 5:18
Speaker 2: run into the Chiefs and that was it. Well, now
• 5:20
Speaker 2: the Chiefs are gone and it's a very very wide
• 5:24
Speaker 2: open AFC. Well, Heckett's a wide open NFC too, But
• 5:28
Speaker 2: I mean the Chiefs are gone now. That big obstacle,
• 5:31
Speaker 2: that big roadblock is gone. And I think the feeling
• 5:33
Speaker 2: in Buffalo is that this might be their year, and
• 5:37
Speaker 2: you know what it might be.
• 5:40
Speaker 1: You know, I look at Josh Allen, the reigning MVP,
• 5:44
Speaker 1: having another outstanding campaign, and when I look at him
• 5:47
Speaker 1: right from a quarterback position, I look at him not
• 5:51
Speaker 1: just as a quarterback, but as a complete athlete. Yeah,
• 5:55
Speaker 1: he can throw it, he can run it, and this
• 5:59
Speaker 1: is the He's a big guy, no question about that,
• 6:02
Speaker 1: but he's got some speed behind him and he will
• 6:04
Speaker 1: lower his shoulder and take a shot. He's not gonna
• 6:06
Speaker 1: slide like a lot of these quarterbacks slide. He's gonna
• 6:09
Speaker 1: lower his shoulder. And I think this is gonna be
• 6:11
Speaker 1: one of the Eagles' biggest tests in terms of as
• 6:14
Speaker 1: well as his Eagles defense has been playing as of late,
• 6:17
Speaker 1: this is gonna be the biggest test to the finish
• 6:20
Speaker 1: line in terms of defending against this guy, because discipline,
• 6:27
Speaker 1: especially off the edge, is parabount, especially in Buffalo's backyard.
• 6:32
Speaker 2: In terms of defending Josh Allen, yep, no question, no question.
• 6:38
Speaker 2: All the things you said, strong arm, big guy, good,
• 6:43
Speaker 2: passer good. And the other thing is what a leader.
• 6:48
Speaker 2: I mean, what a leader on the team. I mean
• 6:51
Speaker 2: you that team, the way they rally around that guy.
• 6:55
Speaker 2: Yeah uh, and the way you get the feeling with him.
• 6:58
Speaker 2: That and he and he he transmits this to the
• 7:01
Speaker 2: guys in the hall. They are never out of a game.
• 7:04
Speaker 2: If they're in the fourth quarternor down two touchdowns, he's
• 7:08
Speaker 2: telling them we're gonna win this game, you know, and
• 7:10
Speaker 2: you know, let's go get it. And they they're behind
• 7:14
Speaker 2: him one and fifty. And you can see that when
• 7:17
Speaker 2: you watch that team play, And that's a that's an intangible,
• 7:23
Speaker 2: but it's an absolutely essential thing that a winning quarterback
• 7:26
Speaker 2: has to have is the full total belief of his
• 7:30
Speaker 2: teammates that when the chips are down, this guy's going
• 7:34
Speaker 2: to come through for us. And that's how the Bills
• 7:36
Speaker 2: feel about Josh. You know, what we get in week out,
• 7:39
Speaker 2: he makes it. So, you know, I, you know, I
• 7:43
Speaker 2: love the NFL Draft, and I you know, I like
• 7:46
Speaker 2: to think of myself as sort of a mini general manager,
• 7:50
Speaker 2: you know, And I like to scout the players and
• 7:53
Speaker 2: rank them and all that stuff. And sometimes I'm pretty accurate,
• 7:58
Speaker 2: and sometimes I miss by a mile, and I missed
• 8:01
Speaker 2: by a I missed by three miles on Josh Allen
• 8:04
Speaker 2: coming out. When he was coming out of college. You know,
• 8:07
Speaker 2: I heard people talking about, you know, he's going to
• 8:09
Speaker 2: be a great pro, he's going to be a first
• 8:10
Speaker 2: round draft pick. And I said, he doesn't throw the
• 8:13
Speaker 2: ball well enough. You know, wyoming goofy offense completion completion percentage,
• 8:21
Speaker 2: it's like in the mid fifties, you know, in a
• 8:25
Speaker 2: in a bad conference with bad defenses. I said, no,
• 8:28
Speaker 2: he just doesn't throw the ball well enough. You know,
• 8:30
Speaker 2: he's got all the other stuff. He's got the size, speed,
• 8:33
Speaker 2: strong arm. Absolutely, but I just don't see the I
• 8:36
Speaker 2: just don't see the accuracy. And he got the buffalo.
• 8:39
Speaker 2: And say what we will about Brian Dabele as a
• 8:43
Speaker 2: coach in New York, But Brian Dabele turned him into
• 8:47
Speaker 2: a great quarterback. Yes, I mean Dabell just worked with
• 8:49
Speaker 2: him and worked with him and worked with him and
• 8:52
Speaker 2: smoothed out his mechanics and made him into not just
• 8:57
Speaker 2: a good quarterback, but an elite quarterback. That was and
• 9:01
Speaker 2: that was. That was just purely great coaching and and
• 9:04
Speaker 2: a kid who was very coachabull and went along with
• 9:07
Speaker 2: the program. But I mean he has now become one
• 9:10
Speaker 2: of the best. Absolutely, And you're right. I mean he
• 9:14
Speaker 2: will be a major challenge for the Eagles defense. I mean,
• 9:16
Speaker 2: Eagles defense is playing really good right now, but this
• 9:19
Speaker 2: guy is going to be He is going to be
• 9:21
  Speaker 2: a major test.
• 9:22
Speaker 3: Hey. I still like a good night out, but I'm

• 13:01
Speaker 3: experience made for Philly fans. Twenty one and up.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: You mentioned the word scouting report and Buffalo is the
• 13:08
Speaker 1: number one rushing offense in the National Football League. They
• 13:12
Speaker 1: averaged like one hundred and fifty eight yards in game rushing.
• 13:14
Speaker 1: And it starts with this minuscule running back named James
• 13:18
Speaker 1: Cook who is all of one hundred and ninety pounds
• 13:21
Speaker 1: soaking wet. He had over fourteen hundred yards rushing going
• 13:25
Speaker 1: into the game Sunny against Cleveland. Well against the Browns,
• 13:28
Speaker 1: which is not a bad defense, he had a bucks
• 13:30
Speaker 1: seventeen and two more touchdowns, so now he has twelve
• 13:33
Speaker 1: rushing touchdowns. He reminds me a lot, a faster version
• 13:39
Speaker 1: of Isaiah Pacheco from Kansas City. Low center of gravity
• 13:44
Speaker 1: and because he's so small behind these gargantua and offensive
• 13:46
Speaker 1: and defensive lineman. You know, when a defensive lineman is
• 13:49
Speaker 1: engaged with an offensive lineman, if he gets if he
• 13:52
Speaker 1: gets on the hip of that offensive lineman and that
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: d lineman doesn't see him, it's over. He's gone. I mean,
• 13:59
Speaker 1: he gets the second second burst of acceleration, gets off
• 14:03
Speaker 1: to the races with him phenomenal little running back who
• 14:08
Speaker 1: has really really helped balance that Buffalo offense.
• 14:13
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you mentioned Pachaco. That's that's actually a pretty
• 14:16
Speaker 2: good comparison when you watch the way he runs, because
• 14:21
Speaker 2: it is a lot like you describe it. I mean,
• 14:23
Speaker 2: he gets tucked in behind those offensive linemen and defense
• 14:27
Speaker 2: people can't find him. I mean they really can't see him.
• 14:31
Speaker 2: It reminds me a lot of back in the day
• 14:35
Speaker 2: Brian Westbrook, you know, in in that you know, Westbrook
• 14:38
Speaker 2: will get in behind Trey Thomas and run and John
• 14:42
Speaker 2: Running and those guys and you just couldn't find them.
• 14:45
  Speaker 1: Uh.
• 14:45
Speaker 2: And that's kind of what this kid does. It just
• 14:48
Speaker 2: amazes me as much as he carries the ball that
• 14:52
Speaker 2: at his size, that he's still got that that he
• 14:57
Speaker 2: hasn't just been beaten down this year, you know, but
• 15:01
Speaker 2: it's not. I mean, he certainly looked good again this week,
• 15:04
Speaker 2: get another couple of touchdowns this week, keeps adding to
• 15:06
Speaker 2: the total. And he is really key to that offense.
• 15:10
Speaker 2: I mean, if you look at what who's the key
• 15:12
Speaker 2: to the offense. Okay, of course it's Josh Allen, but
• 15:15
Speaker 2: even Josh Allen needs that other component, you know, that
• 15:18
Speaker 2: other weapon to keep the defense honest, and Cook has
• 15:21
Speaker 2: been exactly that. So yeah, I mean there's I mean,
• 15:25
Speaker 2: he's when he was going to come into this game.
• 15:27
Speaker 2: They're gonna spend the whole week talking about Josh Allen.
• 15:30
Speaker 2: There's no how are we going to how are we
• 15:32
Speaker 2: going to deal with this guy? Okay, but they better
• 15:35
Speaker 2: not forget the other guy because the other guy's capable
• 15:37
Speaker 2: of beating them too.
• 15:39
Speaker 1: Hey, when you look at this Buffalo defense, it is
• 15:42
Speaker 1: not the typical, you know, Sean McDermott a defense. I mean,
• 15:46
Speaker 1: this is the defense that's ranked thirtieth in the National
• 15:49
Speaker 1: Football League. That's unheard of for a Buffalo defense. And
• 15:53
Speaker 1: they're giving up almost one hundred and forty five yards
• 15:55
Speaker 1: rushing on the ground. Now, the preliminary forecast for the
• 16:00
Speaker 1: game says snow could be in the forecast. Well, this
• 16:03
Speaker 1: is not like the Raiders coming to Philadelphia, a team
• 16:05
Speaker 1: that plays in the Dome, a controlled environment dome, coming
• 16:08
Speaker 1: to the cold, in clement weather Philadelphia and trying to
• 16:11
Speaker 1: play on a harder surface. You got two teams now
• 16:14
Speaker 1: that are running the ball. Well, they're both now to
• 16:17
Speaker 1: play in inclement weather and especially in snow games. Do
• 16:20
Speaker 1: you expect this one to see more of a ground
• 16:23
Speaker 1: effort from from both teams more so than a balanced
• 16:27
Speaker 1: type offense. You know the Eagles passing game has beneficient.
• 16:30
Speaker 1: We know Josh Allen is capable of throwing for three
• 16:32
Speaker 1: hundred yards at any given moment. But you do you
• 16:35
Speaker 1: do you expect both teams to try to lean on
• 16:37
Speaker 1: their ground games and control the clock to get them
• 16:40
Speaker 1: to the finish line. Yeah?
• 16:42
Speaker 2: I do, Okay, you I mean, without without knowing exactly
• 16:47
Speaker 2: what the weather's gonna be, yeap. I mean, if it's
• 16:50
  Speaker 2: if it's a crazy snowy day, I guess you''re not
• 16:53
Speaker 2: gonna have much choice. But even if it's not, even
• 16:56
Speaker 2: if it's just basically buffalo cold, still expect these teams
• 17:01
Speaker 2: to lean on the running game because that's what they do.
• 17:03
Speaker 2: And I uh and the Bills this is one This
• 17:08
Speaker 2: is one area in which this Bills team differs from
• 17:12
Speaker 2: some of the more recent Bills teams in that that
• 17:15
Speaker 2: they're the weakest part of their team is probably the
• 17:18
Speaker 2: run defense team. Teams are running the ball, not a
• 17:22
Speaker 2: little bit on them, but a lot And you didn't
• 17:25
Speaker 2: normally see that kind of thing, that Bills defense looking
• 17:29
Speaker 2: soft on the ground, but these guys kind of do.
• 17:31
Speaker 2: And the Eagles right now are running the ball pretty well,
• 17:35
Speaker 2: and I would expect them to come into this game
• 17:37
Speaker 2: and and with the idea that we're going to run
• 17:40
Speaker 2: it successfully and running is the way we're going to
• 17:42
  Speaker 2: win it. I mean, to me, that's I think they've
• 17:45
Speaker 2: kind of got that mentality back now with a degree
• 17:48
Speaker 2: of confidence that yeah, well, okay, we're maybe not exactly
• 17:52
Speaker 2: the team we were last year in terms of being
• 17:54
Speaker 2: able to run the ball, but we're better than we
• 17:56
Speaker 2: were a month ago, and this is what we want
• 17:59
Speaker 2: to be going into the playoffs against this kind of
• 18:01
Speaker 2: caliber team. You know, let's let's just keep it going.
• 18:05
Speaker 2: And you know, Barkley looked really good this week. We've
• 18:08
Speaker 2: talked about Bigsby has come in and given this team
• 18:11
Speaker 2: some really good snaps. Yeah, I mean, now, who knows. Now,
• 18:16
Speaker 2: you know, Nick and the offensive staff might just say
• 18:19
Speaker 2: that's what they're expecting, So we're going to come out,
• 18:20
Speaker 2: We're gonna throw it forty times. Who knows. I mean,
• 18:23
Speaker 2: you never know what coaches are going to think closed doors.
• 18:26
Speaker 2: But to me, the idea of coming into this game
• 18:29
Speaker 2: and running a ball against the thirty first ranked run
• 18:31
Speaker 2: defense makes all the sense in the world.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: You know, the rumor is Lane Johnson could be available
• 18:38
Speaker 1: for that game against the Buffalo Bills. When you taking
• 18:41
Speaker 1: a consideration the type of foot injury that he's had,
• 18:45
Speaker 1: would you even bring him back Fred Johnson? You know,
• 18:48
Speaker 1: he's had some mental gaffs, but he's played at right
• 18:51
Speaker 1: tackle position pretty solidly over there for the Eagles, doesn't
• 18:55
Speaker 1: give up much in terms of sacks and things like that.
• 18:58
Speaker 1: Would you bring Lane back? Would you sit him and
• 19:00
Speaker 1: hold him out until the postseason comes around, just to
• 19:03
Speaker 1: give him a few extra weeks to rest that thing.
• 19:06
Speaker 2: I think he's pretty close. Ye coming back is the
• 19:10
Speaker 2: feeling that you get. But I don't think I would
• 19:15
Speaker 2: play him this week. I mean, you're always tempted because
• 19:18
Speaker 2: he's that good of a player. I mean, you want
• 19:20
Speaker 2: him on the field as a whenever possible. But I mean,
• 19:24
Speaker 2: if it's what you're talking about, snow sleep, cold, frozen turf,
• 19:32
Speaker 2: you know, if you've got a foot injury, you don't
• 19:34
Speaker 2: want to put him out there and have him re
• 19:37
Speaker 2: injure it. And now he's done for the year. Yeah,
• 19:40
Speaker 2: you know, I would. I think you're going to get
• 19:43
Speaker 2: him back. I'm almost positively going to get him back.
• 19:46
Speaker 2: But I don't think this is the week to bring
• 19:47
Speaker 2: him back. Johnson's playing well enough. Fred Johnson is playing
• 19:52
Speaker 2: well enough to play this game. Is he lame? No,
• 19:55
Speaker 2: he's not. But if you're talking about a game in
• 19:58
Speaker 2: Buffalo in December, the guy coming off a foot injury,
• 20:02
Speaker 2: I think I think i'd give him the one more week.
• 20:04
Speaker 2: I don't think I would rush him back into this game.
• 20:07
Speaker 1: All right, moment of truth. Who do you like in
• 20:10
Speaker 1: this game? And why?
• 20:12
Speaker 2: Well, I guess we're assuming that the Eagles are going
• 20:15
Speaker 2: to play this one to win.
• 20:16
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 20:17
Speaker 2: I mean there's a school of thought now that well,
• 20:19
Speaker 2: now they got the division wrapped up, that maybe let's
• 20:22
Speaker 2: take these two weeks play the scrubs. Well, that's that's
• 20:26
Speaker 2: unkind play the backups. Let's I want to play the backups.
• 20:31
  Speaker 2: I don't want to. I don't want all the Tanner
• 20:33
Speaker 2: McKee fans to be sending me nasty Let's play the backups.
• 20:38
Speaker 2: But I mean, there are some people that are suggesting that,
• 20:40
Speaker 2: you know, maybe rest is more important than No, I
• 20:43
Speaker 2: don't know. I think as long as that that the
• 20:46
Speaker 2: possibility of getting that number two seed is there, I
• 20:50
Speaker 2: think you got to go for it. So I at
• 20:53
Speaker 2: least am making his predictions. I'm going to play this
• 20:55
Speaker 2: one as if the Eagles are playing this one to win. Uh,
• 20:58
Speaker 2: And I gotta take the Bills.
• 21:05
Speaker 1: Yeah, I would you hesitate it.
• 21:07
Speaker 2: I gotta take the Bills because even though the Eagles
• 21:10
Speaker 2: are playing better, and I think I'm very encouraged with
• 21:13
Speaker 2: the way that he was are playing now, I really am.
• 21:15
Speaker 2: But this game is really important to the Bills. Uh.
• 21:19
Speaker 2: And they got a lot more at stake here than Eagles.
• 21:21
Speaker 2: And the Eagles have some stuff at stake too in
• 21:23
Speaker 2: terms of the numbers perceived, but the Bills. I think
• 21:25
Speaker 2: it's there's a really important game for the Bills, and
• 21:28
Speaker 2: so I'll lean to the Bills in this one, and
• 21:31
Speaker 2: I'll say twenty four.
• 21:35
Speaker 1: Oh a man after my own heart. You're you're thinking
• 21:39
Speaker 1: exactly the same way that I'm thinking. You're talking about
• 21:43
Speaker 1: two teams that run the ball very well. Eagles have
• 21:46
Speaker 1: run the ball much better as of late. Two quarterbacks
• 21:49
Speaker 1: who will step up now you know Jalen's running a
• 21:51
Speaker 1: little bit more. Two games in a row. He's running
• 21:54
Speaker 1: a little bit more two quarterbacks that will step up,
• 21:56
Speaker 1: step up, and take off at any given moment. I
• 22:00
Speaker 1: watched that Buffalo team come from way back in hostile
• 22:04
Speaker 1: environment in New England over a week ago and find
• 22:08
Speaker 1: a way to beat the first place Patriots, and now
• 22:10
Speaker 1: they're bird dog and the Patriots for that divisional title.
• 22:15
Speaker 2: That was really impressive.
• 22:16
Speaker 1: That was impressive considering the way New England has been playing.
• 22:19
Speaker 2: Sure, and with that game, that was really impressive.
• 22:22
Speaker 1: Yeah, and you know, but I think Buffalo has a
• 22:25
Speaker 1: little bit more at stake to me, because they still
• 22:28
Speaker 1: have a chance to get that divisional title and an
• 22:32
Speaker 1: outside shot at the number one seed. You know. So
• 22:36
Speaker 1: I'm like you, when teams are evenly matched like this,
• 22:39
Speaker 1: I usually lean towards the home team and say that
• 22:43
Speaker 1: home environment and a game like this is always worth
• 22:46
Speaker 1: three points. So you said twenty seven or twenty four.
• 22:49
Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be a knockdown, drag out brawl.
• 22:51
Speaker 1: I think, you know, I know Eagles fans don't want
• 22:53
Speaker 1: to hear, but I'm picking Buffalo to win this game
• 22:55
Speaker 1: twenty three to twenty. Okay, all right, all right, those
• 22:59
Speaker 1: are our predictions and our thoughts for this upcoming gargantuan
• 23:03
Speaker 1: tussle between the Eagles and the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo,
• 23:08
Speaker 1: and what could possibly be who knows a Super Bowl preview,
• 23:13
Speaker 1: so for Ray Dinger. I'm Derek Gunn. This has been
• 23:15
Speaker 1: Birds Weekly until next time. So long everybody,
