- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York marcemone on war. Well, a lot going on.
- 0:12Speaker 1: There's a cabinet meeting later today, actually taking place any moment.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's the first cabinet meeting in a few weeks. Remember
- 0:19Speaker 1: Joe Biden didn't have cabinet meetings, and they started to
- 0:22Speaker 1: be bad press about the fact that he hadn't had
- 0:25Speaker 1: a cabinet meeting in a couple of years. So they
- 0:26Speaker 1: quickly slapped together a cabinet meeting just to make it
- 0:30Speaker 1: look good. And remember they couldn't find half the cabinet.
- 0:33Speaker 1: They weren't even in Washington. There were no meetings. They
- 0:35Speaker 1: didn't do anything. They remember that final time they attempted
- 0:38Speaker 1: to do cabinet meeting, Jill Biden sat at the head
- 0:43Speaker 1: seat and ran the meeting. Joe just sat there looking
- 0:48Speaker 1: totally out of it. Well, Jill Biden seemed to run
- 0:50Speaker 1: the meeting, pretty embarrassing. But cabinet meeting right now, And
- 0:54Speaker 1: as you know, the press is allowed in and the
- 0:57Speaker 1: President talks at great lengths, so we'll probably probably hears
- 1:00Speaker 1: something from him that'll be of interest later this hour
- 1:05Speaker 1: long lines some airports, most airports. ICE has been a
- 1:09Speaker 1: big help. Despite what all the Democrats said that they
- 1:12Speaker 1: would screw things up, and they had crazy Hakeem Jeffreyes,
- 1:16Speaker 1: and you had insane Chris Murphy and ridiculous Sleezy Blumenthal
- 1:21Speaker 1: saying that the ICE agents would shoot people and brutalize
- 1:24Speaker 1: people in the airports. Instead, they've been a great help,
- 1:27Speaker 1: and reporters at airports have noticed that a lot of people,
- 1:32Speaker 1: a lot of people are going up to the ICE
- 1:33Speaker 1: agents to thank them, just saying thank you and thank
- 1:36Speaker 1: you for everything you do. And Democrats just think the
- 1:40Speaker 1: reason they keep this shutdown going they think it's hurting Republicans.
- 1:44Speaker 1: They've convinced themselves that the public is blaming Republicans. So
- 1:48Speaker 1: there could be a little truth to that, because the Republicans,
- 1:51Speaker 1: although they're not at fault here, they're messaging stinks on
- 1:54Speaker 1: this and they need to do more to make it
- 1:57Speaker 1: clear that it's the Democrats keeping this shutdown going. Democrats
- 2:02Speaker 1: have a history of in a shutdown, trying to inflict
- 2:06Speaker 1: as much inconvenience on people just to make their point.
- 2:12Speaker 1: The best example was a Barack Obama, remember the shutdown
- 2:16Speaker 1: during the Obama years. He shut down everything, shutdown things
- 2:19Speaker 1: that didn't need to be shut down. He shut down
- 2:21Speaker 1: all the monuments in Washington, DC, put that big yellow
- 2:25Speaker 1: police tape all around him to keep people. There was
- 2:27Speaker 1: no reason to do that. There's no staff there. There's
- 2:30Speaker 1: no staff required at these monuments. There had been student
- 2:35Speaker 1: groups that flew into Washington, veteran groups that came in
- 2:39Speaker 1: to visit the monuments, couldn't do it. They were all
- 2:41Speaker 1: taped up and you couldn't get near them because Obama
- 2:44Speaker 1: wanted to just use it to make a point, even
- 2:45Speaker 1: though there was no actual reason. They had to be
- 2:48Speaker 1: shut down during the shutdown. So, hey, yea tiss James,
- 2:53Speaker 1: our sleazy attorney general. The Tiss James. Looks like she's
- 2:56Speaker 1: going to get charged again. Criminal referrals have been made,
- 3:00Speaker 1: this time from the Federal Housing Authority when she took these.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You know, she has two or three houses in Virginia, Maryland.
- 3:11Speaker 1: She's got a couple of houses down there, and she
- 3:14Speaker 1: listed them as her primary residence. It gets your tax breaks,
- 3:18Speaker 1: it gets you all kinds of breaks. They weren't her
- 3:20Speaker 1: primary residence. She had other people living there, relatives, a
- 3:24Speaker 1: couple of them criminals, you know, out on probation, that
- 3:26Speaker 1: sort of stuff. So the new charges have to do
- 3:30Speaker 1: with insurance fraud because apparently on the insurance form she
- 3:34Speaker 1: claimed it was her primary residence. Now, obviously, if you're
- 3:37Speaker 1: the Attorney General of New York, you're required to live
- 3:39Speaker 1: in New York. They can't possibly be your primary residence.
- 3:44Speaker 1: But she listed that way on insurance forms. So they
- 3:46Speaker 1: are going to charge her. Well, the criminal referrals have
- 3:48Speaker 1: been made to the Department of Justice. We'll see if
- 3:51Speaker 1: they do charge her with insurance fraud. Maduro, the Venezuelan leader,
- 3:57Speaker 1: in court today, says he's broke. He has no money.
- 4:00Speaker 1: You know, when you're one of those South American dictators
- 4:03Speaker 1: of Venezuelan leaders, you generally have a couple of billions
- 4:07Speaker 1: stashed away somewhere. Apparently he can't get to it, or
- 4:11Speaker 1: they took it or something. He is arguing in court
- 4:14Speaker 1: that since he has no money, the Venezuelan government should
- 4:17Speaker 1: pay his legal defense. That that was always the deal.
- 4:21Speaker 1: But once they grab you in your pajamas in the
- 4:23Speaker 1: middle of the night and take you away, kind of
- 4:25Speaker 1: all those deals are off. So we'll see how that
- 4:28Speaker 1: turns out. Facebook and Google YouTube decision. As we mentioned before,
- 4:37Speaker 1: the woman that sued got four million five million. Now,
- 4:41Speaker 1: in New Mexico there was a big class action suit
- 4:44Speaker 1: same thing, and they won three hundred and seventy five
- 4:48Speaker 1: million from Facebook. Now that's only because in New Mexico
- 4:53Speaker 1: there's a law you can only for some legal reason,
- 4:56Speaker 1: the jury could only allow five thousand dollars per student.
- 5:00Speaker 1: You know that they were victims of Facebook, that Facebook
- 5:03Speaker 1: has an algorithm that got them addicted. So you're only
- 5:06Speaker 1: allowed five thousand for students. It was three hundred and
- 5:08Speaker 1: seventy five million. But if they don't Facebook, Google, YouTube,
- 5:13Speaker 1: if they don't get into a higher court, Supreme court,
- 5:17Speaker 1: and get this turned around, they are going to be
- 5:19Speaker 1: in massive, massive financial trouble. Hard to believe when you're
- 5:24Speaker 1: a trillion dollar company, but this could be very, very
- 5:28Speaker 1: very bad for them. So I was in the kitchen
- 5:31Speaker 1: just now getting a cup of coffee. They got these
- 5:34Speaker 1: signs on the refrigerator. I thought there was hazardous waste
- 5:37Speaker 1: in there or something. Big sign, big black lot, a
- 5:40Speaker 1: huge font, stay away, brother. It was about don't take
- 5:43Speaker 1: anything out of the refrigerator. Are people stealing people's food
- 5:46Speaker 1: from the refrigerator? They are? Really? Who would I see
- 5:50Speaker 1: what some of these people bring in? Who the hell
- 5:52Speaker 1: would steal that food. Most of it looks pretty weird. Now,
- 5:57Speaker 1: in the history of radio, there has been a problem
- 6:01Speaker 1: with this. Not here. I don't know anybody here that
- 6:04Speaker 1: does that, but good old days. And let me think now,
- 6:08Speaker 1: who can I mention because some of them are still alive.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Oh there's one who's dead. Bob Grant. Bob Grant would
- 6:14Speaker 1: take everything that wasn't nailed down. Even if it was
- 6:17Speaker 1: nailed down. He had a nail remover or a hammer,
- 6:20Speaker 1: he would he would take everything. If you had food anywhere,
- 6:25Speaker 1: it was taken. I mean he was famous for that,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and not just food, anything, staplers, anything, everything. I'm thinking
- 6:35Speaker 1: of a couple of others, but they're still alive. I
- 6:36Speaker 1: won't mention him from other radio stations, but it does happen. Hey,
- 6:42Speaker 1: this is the most horrible case in Chicago. This student,
- 6:48Speaker 1: she's a student at Loyola and she's from Westchester, she's
- 6:52Speaker 1: from Yorktown Heights and she's going to Loyola and she's
- 6:57Speaker 1: if you'll follow her on Instagram or she's just having
- 6:59Speaker 1: the great time. It's like the best time of her
- 7:02Speaker 1: life going to Loyola. And she's got a lot of
- 7:04Speaker 1: friends and she's very happy. And her name is Sheridan Gorman.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And she's out at Toby Prin's Beach along the pier
- 7:14Speaker 1: late night, you know, the college kids are out late
- 7:17Speaker 1: when a gunman approaches her, shoots her in the head
- 7:22Speaker 1: and executes her. This is one thirty in the morning.
- 7:25Speaker 1: No reason for this, What possible motive could there be?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Shooter had his face covered, fled into the darkness. Now
- 7:34Speaker 1: it turns out the shooter is from Venezuela. He's an illegal,
- 7:38Speaker 1: an illegal migrant here illegally. He did have a previous
- 7:44Speaker 1: criminal problem shoplifting. He was let go of a misdemeanor.
- 7:49Speaker 1: They found the guy. They eventually found this guy and
- 7:52Speaker 1: his face was covered, but he had a very distinctive
- 7:55Speaker 1: limp and there were witnesses, so because of the limp,
- 7:58Speaker 1: they got him and arrested him. He's an illegal migrant,
- 8:03Speaker 1: illegal alien, totally illegal. Now, the Loyoli student newspaper did
- 8:09Speaker 1: a story about this, this poor girl being executed, and
- 8:14Speaker 1: in the story they mentioned that he was an illegal migrant. Well,
- 8:18Speaker 1: this is how crazy woke things are in these colleges.
- 8:20Speaker 1: The college went crazy, the students went crazy. The newspaper
- 8:23Speaker 1: was getting bombarded with all kinds of angry screaming people
- 8:28Speaker 1: that how dare they call him an illegal alien? The
- 8:31Speaker 1: student newspaper rewrote the story. They republished it, describing him
- 8:38Speaker 1: as a Rogers Park resident, and they apologized for calling
- 8:43Speaker 1: him an illegal migrant. They apologized. They said, that headline
- 8:46Speaker 1: doesn't reflect the most important elements in the story, and
- 8:50Speaker 1: we took it down to prevent any further harm to
- 8:54Speaker 1: affected community members. Now they're getting shot in the head part.
- 8:57Speaker 1: They didn't consider that big harm, but defending the woke
- 9:00Speaker 1: that was great harm. They went on to say, we
- 9:05Speaker 1: described a man who was charged as an illegal immigrant
- 9:08Speaker 1: using language provided by the Department of Homeland Security. That
- 9:12Speaker 1: language does not align with Associated Press style. Associated press
- 9:17Speaker 1: is the most left wing, woke, partisan slanted thing now,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and they apologized, nor does it align with the values
- 9:26Speaker 1: of this newspaper. No humans experience is illegal, and we
- 9:31Speaker 1: quickly changed our wording to reflect that, wait a minute,
- 9:33Speaker 1: a lot of people, a lot of people are illegal.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You know, a guy goes into a bank and robs it,
- 9:38Speaker 1: that he's doing something illegal. You can be illegal. You
- 9:41Speaker 1: can be yourself illegal by being an illegal immigrant. Of
- 9:44Speaker 1: course it's illegal. Then there's a Chicago alder woman, a politician,
- 9:48Speaker 1: local politician, Maria Hadden, who's getting attacked all over the
- 9:53Speaker 1: place because she's a typical Democrat, a woke. She blamed
- 9:57Speaker 1: the victim. She said, the girl was in the the
- 10:00Speaker 1: wrong place at the wrong time. It's her fault. She
- 10:02Speaker 1: was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She's
- 10:05Speaker 1: getting a lot of flat for that. The mayor of Chicago,
- 10:09Speaker 1: another left wing kook, Brandon Johnson, refused to apologize to
- 10:13Speaker 1: Gorman's parents for his sanctuary cities policies which allowed this
- 10:18Speaker 1: illegal to roam around. And by the way, Homeland Security
- 10:22Speaker 1: thinks there's about two thousand more of these people there
- 10:25Speaker 1: in Chicago, illegals, dangerous criminal illegals in Chicago. They think
- 10:29Speaker 1: there's two thousand more of them. Now, why would he
- 10:33Speaker 1: just go shoot this poor college girl. Why would this
- 10:37Speaker 1: guy just walk up and shoot her. A lot of
- 10:40Speaker 1: people think, even law enforcement, a lot of people think
- 10:44Speaker 1: he was trying to join a gang. And in a
- 10:47Speaker 1: lot of gangs, that's the initiation. You got to shoot somebody.
- 10:51Speaker 1: In a lot of gangs, you have to just go
- 10:52Speaker 1: execute somebody in public, totally innocent person, just shoot him.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Part of the initiation. That's the only explanation makes any sense. JB. Pritzker,
- 11:02Speaker 1: that governor of Illinois, the big fat Ralph Crampton looking governor,
- 11:07Speaker 1: try to blame Trump for it. Somehow, it's all Trump's fault,
- 11:10Speaker 1: his policies. Then he went after Trump for politicizing the
- 11:13Speaker 1: death well, instead of focusing on real solutions, like reinstating
- 11:19Speaker 1: federal funds to prevent violence. You know, they always come
- 11:22Speaker 1: up with this, there's some bill, they have some federal
- 11:25Speaker 1: funds that would take care of the only thing that
- 11:26Speaker 1: takes care of dangerous criminal, illegal shooting people is ice
- 11:31Speaker 1: arresting them and getting them hell out of here, just
- 11:33Speaker 1: to pourt them, get rid of them. That's the only
- 11:35Speaker 1: thing that really works. So it's just a horrible, horrible case. Hey,
- 11:41Speaker 1: the Washington Post, you know, he said, there's no good news.
- 11:43Speaker 1: The Washington Post has suffered the worst print circulation decline ever,
- 11:49Speaker 1: worst among the top twenty five newspapers. You know, the
- 11:53Speaker 1: Washington Post was always at a little to the left,
- 11:56Speaker 1: and then in recent times, you know, the Trump era
- 11:58Speaker 1: became rid ridiculously slanted to the left, ridiculously biased, so
- 12:04Speaker 1: bad that Jeff Bezos, the owner had to step in
- 12:08Speaker 1: and clean things up. He doesn't want him to be
- 12:10Speaker 1: to the right. You can't go that far left. He
- 12:13Speaker 1: can't be that partisan. So he started stopping some of
- 12:16Speaker 1: the extremest nonsense they were printing. That caused a lot
- 12:20Speaker 1: of people to quit. By the way, with this extremist
- 12:23Speaker 1: left wing nonsense, they were losing a fortune and just
- 12:28Speaker 1: losing a ton of money. They were losing one hundred
- 12:31Speaker 1: million a year, one hundred million of the year. So
- 12:36Speaker 1: how did they keep going? Well, Bezos is a zillionaire,
- 12:39Speaker 1: so every week he had to write a check for
- 12:41Speaker 1: two million just to keep them going. And he did
- 12:45Speaker 1: that for a few years. Every end of every week
- 12:47Speaker 1: he'd write a two million dollar check to pay up
- 12:49Speaker 1: the debt that they were losing so much money. But
- 12:52Speaker 1: after a couple of years, even if you're a true zillionaire,
- 12:55Speaker 1: you don't want to write a check for two million
- 12:57Speaker 1: every week. So he started fixing things. They had a
- 13:00Speaker 1: layoff three hundred journalists. They had to close the entire
- 13:04Speaker 1: sports department because you don't need it anymore. It's now
- 13:08Speaker 1: twenty twenty six. There's a million sports sites where you
- 13:11Speaker 1: can go get every detail in the world about anything sports.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You don't need that sports desk there. So they got
- 13:18Speaker 1: rid of that. They're cleaning house now, but they still
- 13:21Speaker 1: took a massive, massive decline in circulation. Hey y had,
- 13:26Speaker 1: Christi Nome. You know, she was fired as the Homeland
- 13:28Speaker 1: Security had and one of the reasons was the money
- 13:32Speaker 1: she wasted on that advertising campaign two hundred million, actually
- 13:37Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty million she spent supposedly an advertising
- 13:41Speaker 1: campaign about the Homeland Security illegal migrant all this sort
- 13:44Speaker 1: of stuff, which might be fine, except the commercials all
- 13:48Speaker 1: seemed to be her, her looking glamorous, her on a horse.
- 13:51Speaker 1: It didn't seem to be promoting what they needed to promote.
- 13:54Speaker 1: It didn't seem to be about getting a message out.
- 13:57Speaker 1: It seemed to be about promoting Christy Nome. That was
- 13:59Speaker 1: the problem. And a lot of people think she really
- 14:01Speaker 1: wants to run in twenty twenty eight, and that was
- 14:04Speaker 1: the real purpose of these commercials to get that twenty
- 14:07Speaker 1: twenty eight campaign going. So they fired her. They' shutting
- 14:11Speaker 1: down that program. But it's now being investigated, looked at
- 14:14Speaker 1: by congressional committees, and they look at the payments she
- 14:16Speaker 1: made twenty thousand dollars on horse rentals, twenty thousand on
- 14:22Speaker 1: horse rentals because a lot of this was her ride
- 14:24Speaker 1: and a horse, almost four thousand dollars on hair and makeup,
- 14:30Speaker 1: fifty three thousand on videography photography production vendors, forty one
- 14:36Speaker 1: thousand on other vendors. They hired the Strategy Group company.
- 14:40Speaker 1: They built a one hundred and ten thousand for labor
- 14:43Speaker 1: costs and a sixty thousand dollars signing bonus. Who gets
- 14:48Speaker 1: a signing bonus and maybe Aaron Judge who else gets
- 14:51Speaker 1: a signing bonus? A federal watchdog investigating one hundreds of
- 14:56Speaker 1: millions of dollars in this stuff. They're grilling them. He
- 15:00Speaker 1: still shows up for the grilling with Corey Lewandowski, the boyfriend,
- 15:04Speaker 1: sitting right next to her. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number?
- 15:11Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten
