- 0:00Revelation chapter 10. Let us pray.
- 0:06Father God, here we are again, for you are so holy, so amazing,
- 0:11so awesome, worthy to be praised.
- 0:14Father, we come to you today expecting, expecting that you're
- 0:18going to move mightily in our midst and you're going to show
- 0:21up and show off. God knocked the pictures off the
- 0:23wall. She kind of glory come and
- 0:26encamp around us, Lord, so that we cannot even minister.
- 0:29Father, I pray in the name of Jesus today for a zeal that will
- 0:33consume this house. God, let us be a House of
- 0:37prayer. God, kick out the den of
- 0:38thieves. Lord, in the mighty name of
- 0:40Jesus, kick out the merchandise. Father, I pray God that we'll be
- 0:45set like a Flint our faces towards you.
- 0:48Father, I pray that we will ascend the hill.
- 0:51God, the holy hill, for you are righteous and worthy.
- 0:54You are our everything. Father, we love everything about
- 0:58you. God, come and fill us.
- 1:01Come and rescue us. God, rapture us.
- 1:04Father, catch us up. God to be there with you.
- 1:07We desire for the train of your robe to fill the temple.
- 1:11God, we look and say, holy, holy, holy is the Lord God
- 1:17Almighty, worthy to be praised forever and ever.
- 1:20Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forevermore.
- 1:24Lord, we love you. We get out of our own way.
- 1:27Father, it's all about King Jesus.
- 1:30Teach us, Father. Teach us your eternal paths.
- 1:33Lead us. God, we are acknowledging you.
- 1:37And so, Father, we pray that you'll direct our steps.
- 1:40Help us not to miss out on anything.
- 1:42Help us not to manufacture anything.
- 1:45God, help us to wait well. Help us to rest in the finished
- 1:50work of the cross. Rest in the promises that you
- 1:53have given us in this book, Father.
- 1:55We stand upon the chief cornerstone.
- 1:57We build our entire lives upon Jesus Christ and Lord, we wait
- 2:03expectantly. Lord, we wait upon our groom.
- 2:08We make ourselves ready. We adorn ourselves as a bride,
- 2:12Father, and we look up and we see our redemption is drawing
- 2:16near. God, marinatha, come, Lord, come
- 2:21soon. God, we just want to touch from
- 2:24you today. Lord, cleanse us.
- 2:26Take the coal from the ashes, Lord.
- 2:30Touch our lips, Lord, we are an unclean people of unclean lips,
- 2:34Father. I pray that you will cleanse us,
- 2:37Father, with the blood of the Lamb.
- 2:40Make us white as snow, Father. Lead us in eternal paths of
- 2:44righteousness unto you, Father. We desire to come home.
- 2:49We desire to be with you, Father, but help us to be boots
- 2:53on the ground, missionaries out in the harvest.
- 2:56Father, I pray that we will be found out in the harvest.
- 3:02Lord, I pray that we will be found doing what it is that you
- 3:06have called us into. Help us not to grow complacent
- 3:09and despondent. Father, help us not to check out
- 3:12God, but I pray that we will lock in with you.
- 3:16Yeshua, you are our Master. You are our everything and we
- 3:22worship you today with every fiber and oz of our being.
- 3:26We give you all of ourselves. In the mighty name of Jesus
- 3:30Christ. I pray, Amen.
- 3:33Let's start in verse one. And I saw another mighty Angel
- 3:40coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow was
- 3:44upon his head, and its face was as it were the sun, and his feet
- 3:49as pillars of fire. Yeshua Hamasiya, we could see
- 3:54Christ Jesus. We can see that He comes with
- 3:59this amazing pictorial that John had enough wherewithal to sit
- 4:05and to pin as he saw this amazing imagery coming down.
- 4:10And here he is. He talks about a mighty Angel.
- 4:13Is this Jesus Christ or is this one of his emissaries?
- 4:18Is this a Angel unto Jesus Christ coming as a
- 4:22representative? We do not know definitively, but
- 4:29we can surmise that this is Christ Jesus, and He's saying
- 4:33here that He came down from heaven, and here he is clothed
- 4:38with a cloud. And he told them that they would
- 4:42see him coming on the clouds with all of the angels, and he
- 4:45has a rainbow upon his head. The promise of God that He holds
- 4:49himself to. God can do anything, but He
- 4:52limits himself to the promises that He gives us when He makes
- 4:56us a covenant. He is going to keep it, and He
- 4:59promises us with this rainbow that it'll never flood the earth
- 5:03again. The second destruction is by
- 5:06fire, friends, and He says that His face was, as it were, the
- 5:10sun. You cannot even look upon God
- 5:13Almighty. He is brighter than all the
- 5:15known sons in the entire universe, friends.
- 5:20He dwells in unapproachable light and God is brighter than
- 5:26any of it. When Moses had to hide his face
- 5:29in the cleft of the rock as God walked by, and then his face was
- 5:33shining. And the Israelites tried to hide
- 5:36from Moses because of the way that his face was illuminated,
- 5:39because of the glory of God that just touched him as he hid his
- 5:44face in the cleft of the rock. This brightness is the sun and
- 5:49his feet as pillars of fire. So we know that Jesus's feet
- 5:54that we talked about eyes like fire and hair like wool, when
- 6:00he, when we saw the voice of the many multitudes, the voice of
- 6:04the many waters, and it talked about his feet like bronze,
- 6:08polished bronze. Now you can see these feet as
- 6:11pillars of fire. And we're going to see majesty,
- 6:15we're going to see omnipotence, we're going to see all the
- 6:18almighty deity of God Almighty wrapped up here.
- 6:24Verse 2. And he had in his hand a little
- 6:26book open, and he set his right foot on the sea and his left
- 6:30foot on the earth. He has complete dominion over
- 6:34the entire world. All land and all oceans belong
- 6:41to him. And you go back and you read
- 6:43Psalms chapter 2 and it says why do the nation's rage and the
- 6:48people's plot in vain? God is in heaven.
- 6:51And he laughs because they are trying to throw off the chains.
- 6:56They're trying to throw off religion.
- 6:58And here you can see in chapter 10, verse 2 of Revelation that
- 7:03all authority belongs to God Almighty.
- 7:07He puts his foot on the land and He puts his foot on the ocean
- 7:11and He shows us that He is God, the only uncreated and has
- 7:18dominion over it all. And everything is working in
- 7:22complete accordance to the plan that He has developed that he
- 7:28knew before he even created the world, before he even breathed
- 7:33into the nostrils of Adam, He knew how it would all go.
- 7:36And he's allowing us. He's giving us the free will and
- 7:40allowing us to make choices and decisions and every single bit
- 7:45of it is going to bring him the most amount of glory, friends.
- 7:50And here you can see he finally has gotten to the end of what we
- 7:56know of as the end of time. And here he is putting 1 foot on
- 8:02the ocean and 1 foot on the land and says it is all mine.
- 8:07Which is from Psalms chapter 24 that the earth is the Lord's and
- 8:11everything in it. Verse 3 And cried with a loud
- 8:14voice as when a lion roars. And when he had cried 7 thunders
- 8:19uttered their voices. You will have to go to Psalms
- 8:24chapter 29 to get the reference to the seven thunders of God and
- 8:31in Psalms chapter 29 we read. Give unto the Lord, O you
- 8:52mighty. Give unto the Lord glory and
- 8:55strength. Give unto the Lord the glory.
- 8:57Do unto his name. Worship the Lord and the beauty
- 9:00of holiness. The voice of the Lord is upon
- 9:03the waters. The God of glory thunders.
- 9:06The Lord is upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is
- 9:10powerful. The voice of the Lord is full of
- 9:13majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the
- 9:15Cedars. Yeah, the Lord breaks the Cedars
- 9:18of Lebanon. He makes them also to skipped
- 9:21like a calf. Lebanon and Syrian like a young
- 9:25Unicorn. The voice of the Lord divides
- 9:28the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shakes the
- 9:31wilderness. The Lord shakes the wilderness
- 9:34of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord makes the
- 9:37Hinds to calve, and discovers the forest.
- 9:40And in his temple does everyone speak of his glory.
- 9:44The Lord sits upon the flood. Yeah, the Lord sits King
- 9:48forever. The Lord will give strength unto
- 9:51to his people. The Lord will bless his people
- 9:54with peace. You see the seven thunders of
- 9:56God being referenced here? And what does he tell John after
- 10:00he hears the seven thunders? For.
- 10:05And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was
- 10:08about to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto
- 10:11me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered and
- 10:16write them. Not so here.
- 10:18We can see that all of revelation is a revealing.
- 10:22That's what the word revelation means.
- 10:24This is an opening up behind the curtain so we can peek and peer
- 10:29into the spiritual realm of what's actually happening all
- 10:33around us. And here John has been told
- 10:38write these things. He's been told multiple times
- 10:41write these things. And here he hears these 7
- 10:44thunders and he goes to write, but God says no, do not write
- 10:49it. And we can surmise, we can guess
- 10:54at what is going to be written here, but you need to know that
- 10:58some things need to remain a mystery.
- 11:03There are passages in Isaiah and then Jesus reiterates that if
- 11:08God lifts the veil then everyone would be saved.
- 11:13And that is not God's promise. That is not God's purpose.
- 11:17God wants us to come to Him out of our own self guidance, out of
- 11:24our own decision. Friends, it is not that God
- 11:28makes us into robots. He could in a twinkling of an
- 11:33eye. He could in a millisecond,
- 11:35'cause every single human being on planet earth today to give
- 11:41their life over to Him. He is omnipotent.
- 11:43But He allows us to go on and He gives us the free will.
- 11:47And He loves us so much that He does not take the free will from
- 11:51us, and He allows us to make a decision for Him.
- 11:55So some things need to remain a mystery, friends.
- 11:59And that is so hard for us with the mind the size of a soda can,
- 12:04for us to sit and to try to play God, and for us to try to think
- 12:08of why God would not make every single person on planet earth
- 12:13into believers of Yahweh, Yeshua everlasting, the God of Abraham,
- 12:18Isaac and Jacob, the God of the Jews.
- 12:21Why would He not make every single person believe in Him?
- 12:28And that is the greatest mystery.
- 12:31And here John is about to write all of these things, and God
- 12:34says, no, leave them as a mystery.
- 12:38Five. And the Angel which I saw stand
- 12:41on the sea and upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven, 6
- 12:45and swore by him that lives forever and ever, who created
- 12:50heaven, and the things that are in it, and the earth and the
- 12:53things that are in it are in the sea and the things that are in
- 12:57it, That there should be time no longer.
- 13:01So he's praising God Almighty, that the time has culminated for
- 13:05us to be in glory, for us to enter into the rest, for us to
- 13:10go into paradise. Friends. 7 But in the days of
- 13:14the voice of the 7th Angel, and he shall begin to sound.
- 13:18The mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to
- 13:24his servants the prophets. So this mystery of God has been
- 13:28revealed, but it could not have been known if God had not
- 13:32revealed it, friends. And that is what the entire Book
- 13:36of Revelation and the entire of entirety of Scripture says,
- 13:42friends, from Genesis to Revelation.
- 13:44It is God's revealing to mankind how they are to be saved and
- 13:49then right relationship with Him and made at one with a holy God
- 13:55and His name is Jesus. The blood of Jesus is the all
- 13:59sufficient sacrifice, friends, that gets us into God's
- 14:03presence. And you must believe while there
- 14:05is still breath in your lungs. If you take your last breath and
- 14:09you have not placed your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, it'll
- 14:12be too late. 8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke
- 14:18unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is
- 14:22open in the hand of the Angel, which stands upon the sea and
- 14:25upon the earth. What is this little book,
- 14:28friends? Perhaps the scroll that the Lamb
- 14:32had opened up, there was only one found worthy to open the
- 14:36scroll. Perhaps a lot of it has already
- 14:39been fulfilled up until this point, and there's only a small
- 14:42amount that needs to happen from this point forward, which is why
- 14:46it is referenced as a little book 9.
- 14:51And I went unto the Angel, and said unto him, Give me the
- 14:54little book. And he said unto me, Take it,
- 14:58kneed it up, and it shall make your belly bitter, but it shall
- 15:03be in your mouth. Sweet as honey.
- 15:05This is God's word. God's word is sweet as honey.
- 15:09Friends, whenever we're talking about redemption, God's Word is
- 15:13sweet as honey. When we're talking about
- 15:15salvation, God's Word is sweet as honey when we're talking
- 15:19about eternity with God in paradise.
- 15:22But it is bitter, Friends, in the judgments of God that come
- 15:26upon a wicked, perverse world, who care nothing for Him, and
- 15:31who rail against Him, and they blasphemy His holy name.
- 15:35It is bitterness, And we cannot just talk about the things that
- 15:41we want to talk about and omit the things that are
- 15:44uncomfortable. We must be faithful to speak the
- 15:48entirety of God's Word, no matter if it is culturally
- 15:53acceptable or not. This is not an archaic book,
- 15:58this is relevant for our day, and for such a time as this we
- 16:02cannot put it on a shelf to collect dust.
- 16:04We must be faithful in speaking the truth in love, no matter if
- 16:09it is popular or not. 10 And I took the little book out of the
- 16:17angel's hand, and I ate it up, and it was in my mouth, sweet as
- 16:21honey, and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
- 16:25This is how God's word works, friends.
- 16:32It is the 2 edged sword. It is sweet as honey in the
- 16:38things of God for the faithful, and it is bitter to all those
- 16:45who refuse a loving God. And we'll end on 11.
- 16:51And he said unto me, You must prophecy again before many
- 16:55peoples and nations and tongues and kings.
- 16:59So here we are reading the Book of Revelation.
- 17:01It stood the test of time for 2000 years.
- 17:04And heaven and earth shall pass away.
- 17:06But not one of these words, God's Rhema, God's logos will
- 17:12stand the test of time. You can't do anything with it.
- 17:16It will be here, friends, until the end of time, and it will
- 17:26never ever be done away with and destroyed.
- 17:31It will never go out of publication and style, friends,
- 17:36We must hide it in our hearts so that we will not sin against a
- 17:40holy God. I hope that you've been blessed
- 17:43by this amazing chapter in God's Word.
- 17:46I know I sure have. I'm praying for every single one
- 17:49of you and I love you. God loves you.
- 17:57Stay prayed up today. Put that full armor on.
- 18:04Walk in the Spirit, love your neighbor.
- 18:09See you back here tomorrow. God bless you.
