- 0:26Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:31Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:38Speaker 1: Trey Trendholm, who's already laughing, along with Raj Sharma, who's
- 0:43Speaker 1: now smiling because Trey's laughing and smiling. So I'm already
- 0:48Speaker 1: looking forward to today's show, but now more so than
- 0:51Speaker 1: I was even just five minutes ago.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I just had an epiphany.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Oh boy, ready, stop what you're doing, because you know
- 1:02Speaker 1: it is gonna be good.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 1:07Speaker 2: We used to.
- 1:09Speaker 4: Make fun ridicule Russ of his knowledge and obsession of
- 1:14Speaker 4: sixties and seventies TV shows. Yep, Russ, bad movies are
- 1:21Speaker 4: to you what sixties and seventies TV shows were to him.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Good, Toddy. The difference is, I'm not gonna go buy
- 1:31Speaker 1: a robotic Jaws and say that I'm down the toll way.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:38Speaker 1: The lottery things that actually make sense.
- 1:41Speaker 3: No, you wouldn't. If you won the lottery, you'd have
- 1:43Speaker 3: you'd have a Santa Jaws.
- 1:45Speaker 1: H A lot of money and radio money are two
- 1:49Speaker 1: vastly different things.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Uh huh, But but you just want that said.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Yeah, just because I like something doesn't mean I'm going
- 1:59Speaker 1: to buy it and live in it or drive it.
- 2:01Speaker 1: That's that's that's that's that's the line of demarcation. I
- 2:06Speaker 1: just want that said.
- 2:08Speaker 4: If any any of those movies have a catchy jingle,
- 2:10Speaker 4: we know what our next bumpers will be.
- 2:14Speaker 1: All right, now, that is true, That is absolutely one.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Here's a great example of that.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Wait, you're listening to the Treehouse yeps online a Treehouse
- 2:32Speaker 5: on air dot com.
- 2:35Speaker 1: That is the main title theme LFG from the Deadpool
- 2:39Speaker 1: and Wolverine soundtrack.
- 2:41Speaker 6: M h.
- 2:45Speaker 1: So you're not wrong about that. I will, I will.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I will inject stuff into the show, into the Treehouse,
- 2:51Speaker 1: all day, all night, things that I love. But that
- 2:53Speaker 1: doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to get a dead Pole
- 2:56Speaker 1: suit and wear it around everywhere I go.
- 2:59Speaker 3: M M, yeah, I don't know about that.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Can we talk to your wife for a second.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You want dress up? You want no? No? No if
- 3:10Speaker 1: if if if my wife wants to put me in
- 3:14Speaker 1: a Deadpool costume and she wants to wear the Lady
- 3:17Speaker 1: Pool costume and together we create Pool. I'm on board
- 3:21Speaker 1: with that, just so we're clear.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:29Speaker 7: Somewhere in my head, I just see you just sitting
- 3:31Speaker 7: watching TV in a deadpool.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Up, especially especially back like the second Deadpool where his
- 3:40Speaker 4: legs come off and then he's sitting on the sofa
- 3:42Speaker 4: kind of Donald Duck in it.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Oh no, that that that was a shirt in it. Yeah, yeah,
- 3:48Speaker 1: that's right, there are certain.
- 3:53Speaker 7: I can see you doing that too. I can see
- 3:55Speaker 7: you because I mean you're on the island. You could
- 3:56Speaker 7: have the Hawaiian shirt that he was wearing. Uh, and
- 3:59Speaker 7: then nothing else.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah. I think if you're on vacation you want to
- 4:03Speaker 1: put on a Hawaiian shirt and nothing else. By god,
- 4:05Speaker 1: go for it. You're on vacation, have fun. You're not
- 4:10Speaker 1: technically nude, all right, Look all kidding aside, all things
- 4:20Speaker 1: that are fun and exciting and laughable, those are the
- 4:25Speaker 1: things that are here inside the treehouse. And that includes
- 4:28Speaker 1: the new pandemic that is hitting Texas. I'm going to
- 4:36Speaker 1: show you, guys something This happened just last week in
- 4:38Speaker 1: the Dallas area, and I want you to be prepared
- 4:42Speaker 1: for it because it's kind of shocking. But I want
- 4:45Speaker 1: you to see this.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:46Speaker 1: This happened in Plano, north of Dallas. Of course, A
- 4:51Speaker 1: girl was walking home from school and walking across the
- 4:53Speaker 1: street at an intersection in a neighborhood in Plano, when well,
- 4:58Speaker 1: she gets hit by the new pan pandemic. Well, technically
- 5:02Speaker 1: it's not a pandemic, it's a buick enclave. But you
- 5:04Speaker 1: get the idea. Here she is walking the street and
- 5:07Speaker 1: then here comes the buick. Oh wam, She's on the
- 5:12Speaker 1: ground rolling around. And then now the buick backs up
- 5:16Speaker 1: and drives away, leaving the kid there in the street.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Now this is interesting. The kid finishes crossing the street.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Seems like a tough kid, right. I was impressed when
- 5:34Speaker 1: I first saw this kid took a buick, got up
- 5:39Speaker 1: and then continued to walk home. And then and then
- 5:45Speaker 1: I listened to it with the volume. Here it is
- 5:48Speaker 1: the same clip now with volume zeeze, you could cry
- 6:05Speaker 1: about it. So I want to still give her credit
- 6:16Speaker 1: for finishing to walk wherever she was going. But you
- 6:18Speaker 1: really don't have to make that much ruckus about it,
- 6:20Speaker 1: do you if.
- 6:22Speaker 3: You get hit by a car? Okay?
- 6:27Speaker 1: I mean, look, it's the twenty first century buick, not
- 6:29Speaker 1: a twentieth century Bui. If it was a twentieth century Buioke,
- 6:32Speaker 1: this'd be a vastly different story. But I was I
- 6:38Speaker 1: was impressed at first. I was like, look at that kid.
- 6:40Speaker 1: She took out, she took a buick, got up and
- 6:42Speaker 1: then walked it off. And then when I heard heard
- 6:45Speaker 1: it with the actual audio, I was like, Okay, well it's.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Not as cool. Do we know did they catch the person?
- 6:53Speaker 1: Not yet. I'm glad you asked. But before we get
- 6:55Speaker 1: to that, I said that this is a pandemic. There
- 6:58Speaker 1: is another example of this. This was an eight year
- 7:01Speaker 1: old in North Texas with a friend crossing an alleyway.
- 7:08Speaker 1: And this is one that I think is gonna make
- 7:10Speaker 1: Rag smile because even though it's a child, Raj, one
- 7:13Speaker 1: of your favorite things is people hurt getting hurt, and
- 7:16Speaker 1: you've seen m so here you go enjoy this one. Okay, this,
- 7:21Speaker 1: this one's for you. Oh my god, I told you
- 7:34Speaker 1: he'd love it. I mean, that kid took on a
- 7:42Speaker 1: solid shot from a mini van because he's running across
- 7:45Speaker 1: the street in an alleyway and this white mini van
- 7:49Speaker 1: just comes out of nowhere and just takes his legs
- 7:51Speaker 1: out from underneath him, and Raj.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Is gone, better's a second time?
- 8:05Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I mean, you've really got that
- 8:08Speaker 1: car really comes out of nowhere and takes takes that
- 8:10Speaker 1: kid out. Is that couple?
- 8:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Yeah, Trey's face is pretty priceless right now. He seems
- 8:17Speaker 1: mortified that that you're laughing about it. I'm kind of
- 8:19Speaker 1: middle of the road here because I've got other observations,
- 8:23Speaker 1: first of which is this kid just learned a valuable lesson.
- 8:27Speaker 1: He needs to learn to look both ways before crossing
- 8:30Speaker 1: the street. And there's something else in here as well.
- 8:34Speaker 3: As we watch it again, why.
- 8:43Speaker 1: The kid gets up, runs away. The lady stops unlike
- 8:47Speaker 1: the other lady in Plano gets out of the minivans
- 8:49Speaker 1: like okay. But this kid, this kid gets up and
- 8:57Speaker 1: runs back towards home. It's pretty impressive. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 9:01Speaker 1: play it one more time, not just because I live
- 9:03Speaker 1: here in black, but I want you to notice what
- 9:05Speaker 1: the what the kid is wearing. It looks to be
- 9:07Speaker 1: a Roger Stalbauck jersey.
- 9:10Speaker 4: No, that is not a stallback jersey. That is an
- 9:14Speaker 4: An M twelfth Man jersey. Which makes this far funnier.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Is that a man's old jersey?
- 9:25Speaker 3: Johnny football, Ag, you gonna do what you gonna do.
- 9:36Speaker 8: You're listening to the Treehouse.
- 9:38Speaker 9: Visit us online a Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 9:42Speaker 1: So the headline should have been Aggie child run over
- 9:44Speaker 1: in the street.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Aggie does what Aggie do?
- 10:01Speaker 9: You're listening to the tree House, Visit us online at
- 10:05Speaker 9: Treehouseonair dot com.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Be sure to check out the tree House Ultimate Treehouse
- 10:11Speaker 1: live show. For the Ultimate Treehouse Patreon subscribers, go to
- 10:15Speaker 1: patreon dot com slash Treehouse on Air and sign up
- 10:18Speaker 1: for Treehouse Ultimate Ultimate Treehouse. That's all the stupid and
- 10:23Speaker 1: the first live show of that subscription tier happens tomorrow night,
- 10:28Speaker 1: Tuesday the seventeenth, at seven pm. You are in the Treehouse.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharmer.
- 10:35Speaker 1: We're still unlike that kid in North Texas. We're still
- 10:39Speaker 1: recuperating from watching him get hit by that minivan. But again,
- 10:44Speaker 1: he took it like a champ. He got up, ran
- 10:45Speaker 1: towards home, and the lady in the minivan that turned
- 10:49Speaker 1: him upside down. It sounds sad to say this, but
- 10:53Speaker 1: give her credit. She actually stopped to see if he
- 10:56Speaker 1: was okay, and because of that, I don't think she's
- 10:59Speaker 1: facing any charges or anything. Now. This other situation that
- 11:03Speaker 1: we heard about just a little bit of Go where
- 11:07Speaker 1: a girl in Plano was crossing the street at an
- 11:10Speaker 1: intersection in a neighborhood. She got hit by a buick Enclave,
- 11:16Speaker 1: and the buick and the person in it did not
- 11:19Speaker 1: stop to see you okay. Instead they backed up and
- 11:22Speaker 1: then drove down the other street. That is leading to
- 11:27Speaker 1: a huge outcry, and at least last I checked, they
- 11:32Speaker 1: have not found yet the driver of that buick on Clave,
- 11:37Speaker 1: which I'm kind of surprised about. I don't think it'll
- 11:38Speaker 1: take much time, especially when you get a little more
- 11:42Speaker 1: info on it, like I'm going to share with you
- 11:45Speaker 1: right now. And that is the update from our friends
- 11:49Speaker 1: at Foxford Dallas about the status of the girl in
- 11:53Speaker 1: the neighborhood and the buick.
- 12:00Speaker 8: EO to walk.
- 12:01Speaker 10: It's a painful video to watch, and here a crying
- 12:08Speaker 10: twelve year old girl is hit as a black SUV
- 12:11Speaker 10: turns left at the intersection of Westridge and Wilson. The
- 12:15Speaker 10: driver backs up and then drives off. The child gets
- 12:21Speaker 10: up and continues her walk to Wilson Middle School Tuesday morning.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Hey, Wilson Middle School. That's where I went to middle school.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Yah see, I took the bus so I never got
- 12:32Speaker 1: run over.
- 12:36Speaker 4: But you would add your big helmet on if you did,
- 12:40Speaker 4: just throw your big pencil in front of it.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Is it is when middle school is when I did
- 12:48Speaker 1: get my first concussion, So you're not entirely wrong, Trey.
- 12:53Speaker 10: The child gets up and continues her walk to Wilson
- 12:56Speaker 10: Middle School Tuesday morning. Thankfully, no serious injuries according to
- 13:01Speaker 10: the girls family.
- 13:02Speaker 11: So it's like my worst fear, and so it actually happening.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Is this is Susie Cypert a neighbor.
- 13:10Speaker 10: Scary parents like Susie Cypert are left concerned in a
- 13:14Speaker 10: neighborhood filled with families.
- 13:16Speaker 11: Everyone can make a mistake, but driving off that was intentional,
- 13:20Speaker 11: and that is not okay. That's where you made a
- 13:23Speaker 11: choice to leave a child who could have been really
- 13:26Speaker 11: badly hurt.
- 13:27Speaker 12: This is considered a failure to render aid and it
- 13:33Speaker 12: is a felony.
- 13:33Speaker 10: Plano police believe they're looking for a black Buick Enclave.
- 13:38Speaker 10: Investigators are unsure of the model year.
- 13:41Speaker 1: But they do know it's got a dent of a
- 13:43Speaker 1: twelve year old girl on the front end.
- 13:48Speaker 2: That's terrible.
- 13:49Speaker 1: I the only read, the only reason I'm making fun
- 13:53Speaker 1: is because she's okay. If she wasn't, I wouldn't be
- 13:55Speaker 1: making fun. I'm also looking at it from a parent's perspective,
- 13:59Speaker 1: not a good but a parent's perspective. If this was
- 14:02Speaker 1: my child, I'd be relieved. I'd be angry, but it
- 14:07Speaker 1: must be a little proud, Like, look at you, honey,
- 14:10Speaker 1: you took on a buick and you got up and
- 14:12Speaker 1: you walked away. Good on you. Next time. Let's work
- 14:15Speaker 1: on your severe screams. Let's tone that down a little bit.
- 14:19Speaker 1: But otherwise, great, great first effort. Really proud of you,
- 14:22Speaker 1: you walked it off. Really really happy for you.
- 14:25Speaker 4: I bet if they just go look at the retirement
- 14:27Speaker 4: communities around there, they'll find them.
- 14:30Speaker 3: How many buke enclaves are there exactly?
- 14:33Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, there really can't be that many of those.
- 14:38Speaker 10: They're hoping someone in the neighborhood recognizes the vehicle.
- 14:42Speaker 12: Based on the time of the day. It almost seems
- 14:44Speaker 12: like somebody that would probably be living in that neighborhood
- 14:47Speaker 12: and we want them to go forward and is just
- 14:51Speaker 12: so thoughtless of someone, they tell me.
- 14:54Speaker 10: Since the video has been posted, they have received tips,
- 14:57Speaker 10: but again that driver has not been identified and rest.
- 15:00Speaker 10: So if you know anything, called Plano police.
- 15:03Speaker 1: And in other news, uh, Peyton Yaeger from Fox four
- 15:07Speaker 1: is a brunette now.
- 15:11Speaker 2: But still hire.
- 15:12Speaker 1: When she first got to Dallas, he was super super blonde.
- 15:16Speaker 2: M hm.
- 15:17Speaker 1: So if you've seen a buick Enclave with a slight
- 15:20Speaker 1: dent matching a twelve year old girl, please call Plano police.
- 15:23Speaker 1: They would appreciate that.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:28Speaker 3: I don't. I don't watch local news, so I don't
- 15:31Speaker 3: know who this is.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But that's the that's the reporter for Fox four who
- 15:37Speaker 1: who put together the story, gotcha?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Okay?
- 15:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that that's somebody day drinking.
- 15:43Speaker 13: Right.
- 15:43Speaker 7: It's like a soccer mom that was had a little
- 15:46Speaker 7: too much to day drink and then decided you didn't
- 15:48Speaker 7: want to get caught.
- 15:50Speaker 2: No, that because it was in the morning, wasn't it?
- 15:52Speaker 13: Uh?
- 15:52Speaker 1: I think they said it was afternoon. Was the morning?
- 15:54Speaker 2: Afternoon? Is walking to school?
- 15:56Speaker 3: I believe to school?
- 15:58Speaker 13: Walk to school?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Pull hang on, double check on this. Maybe I'm just
- 16:03Speaker 1: assuming it was the afternoon because that's usually when I
- 16:05Speaker 1: run over kids with my car. I didn't realize some
- 16:09Speaker 1: people were doing it in the morning ago. Let's see here.
- 16:15Speaker 11: But driving off that was intentional and that is not okay,
- 16:19Speaker 11: that's where you made a choice. To leave a child
- 16:23Speaker 11: who could have been really badly hurt.
- 16:25Speaker 12: This is considered a failure to render aid and it
- 16:30Speaker 12: is a felony.
- 16:31Speaker 10: Plano Police believe they're looking for a black Buick Enclave.
- 16:36Speaker 10: Investigators are unsure of the all year, they're helping someone
- 16:40Speaker 10: in the neighborhood recognizes the vehicle based.
- 16:43Speaker 12: On the time of the day. It almost seems like
- 16:45Speaker 12: somebody that would probably be living in that neighborhood, and
- 16:48Speaker 12: we want them to come forward.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Is just so thoughtless of someone.
- 16:54Speaker 10: They tell me. Since the video has been posted, they
- 16:55Speaker 10: have received tips, but again that driver has not been
- 16:59Speaker 10: identified and no arrest. So if you know anything, called
- 17:02Speaker 10: Plano police.
- 17:03Speaker 2: It was in the beginning of the story.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Oh it was yeah, oh all right, well we'll watch
- 17:08Speaker 1: the kid get hit again. If you want dre you
- 17:10Speaker 1: don't have to make up excuses to say what you
- 17:11Speaker 1: want is not gonna you know, contest it.
- 17:21Speaker 10: In full video to watch and here a crying twelve
- 17:27Speaker 10: year old girl is hit as a black SUV turns
- 17:30Speaker 10: left at the intersection of Westridge and Wilson. The driver
- 17:34Speaker 10: backs up and then drives off. The child gets up
- 17:40Speaker 10: and continues her walk to Wilson middle School Tuesday morning.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Thankfully there it is all right.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 1: See, honestly, that right there, I'd be even prouder of
- 17:50Speaker 1: my child. Yeah, not only did you get run over
- 17:53Speaker 1: by a car, but then you finished walking to school
- 17:56Speaker 1: high five.
- 17:57Speaker 3: That's that's that's definitely an Asian kid.
- 18:05Speaker 1: It was true twenty five years ago when I went
- 18:07Speaker 1: to Wilson Middle School. It's true today.
- 18:17Speaker 3: She got a B in math and that's the dad
- 18:19Speaker 3: that hit her.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Uh, that's what's that's what.
- 18:29Speaker 13: You're in the tree house.

- 19:12Speaker 1: Sponsorship opportunities are available right here inside the treehouse. Again,
- 19:16Speaker 1: just shoot us an email. Treehouse on Air at gmail
- 19:20Speaker 1: dot com. All right, back inside the treehouse. We're really
- 19:23Speaker 1: going to try to power through all the kids getting
- 19:27Speaker 1: hit by cars in North Texas and try to focus
- 19:31Speaker 1: on something that is outside the great state of Texas.
- 19:37Speaker 1: But at the same time wondering is it's something that
- 19:39Speaker 1: could infiltrate the state of Texas scary right. What I'm
- 19:44Speaker 1: talking about is do you think this is a good
- 19:48Speaker 1: thing or a bad thing? Out of the state of California.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Governor Gavin Newsom recently signed a bill to standardize food
- 19:57Speaker 1: date labels and ban the use of selling by dates.
- 20:00Speaker 1: That is correct, You heard me correct. California has become
- 20:04Speaker 1: the first state to band sell by and best before
- 20:08Speaker 1: labels to reduce food waste. Maybe that means as a consumer,
- 20:14Speaker 1: in order to find out if the food you're eating
- 20:16Speaker 1: is okay, you're just gonna have to count the flies
- 20:18Speaker 1: to decide if it's okay. But uh, California, which has
- 20:22Speaker 1: a tendency to do things that pisses off Texans, just
- 20:26Speaker 1: letting you know of the most recent thing that some
- 20:28Speaker 1: people are probably going to be outraged by just because
- 20:30Speaker 1: a Democrat did it. But I do wonder is this
- 20:34Speaker 1: actually a good thing or a bad thing? Getting rid
- 20:37Speaker 1: of the cell by dates.
- 20:42Speaker 3: It's a selling by or freeze by like.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Not freeze by to sell by or used by. These
- 20:47Speaker 1: are the dates. Let me give you a little more
- 20:49Speaker 1: info on this. Uh, the cell by dates are not
- 20:53Speaker 1: done by the FDA, and the cell by date this
- 21:00Speaker 1: is not an indicator of when your milk will go bad.
- 21:03Speaker 1: It's to help grocers rotate stock. Your milk was fine,
- 21:08Speaker 1: now you're back in the store paying for more because
- 21:11Speaker 1: you thought that that label was meant for you. With
- 21:15Speaker 1: the exception of infant formula, date labels on packaged food
- 21:19Speaker 1: are not federally regulated or required, which means it's left
- 21:24Speaker 1: up to manufacturers and states to determine what labels are necessary.
- 21:29Speaker 1: An old state law suggested putting dated labels on foods
- 21:32Speaker 1: to help consumers know when their food has gone bad.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Instead of confusing grocer focused sell by labels, this new
- 21:38Speaker 1: California law requires them in an effort to reduce the
- 21:41Speaker 1: food waste that Californians produce, which is six million tons
- 21:44Speaker 1: of it per year. That's according to the state Department
- 21:47Speaker 1: of Food and Agriculture. So this bill is meant to
- 21:51Speaker 1: eliminate food waste by making the labeled clearer.
- 21:57Speaker 4: I mean, it's actually a good thing because it's long
- 22:00Speaker 4: than suspected that the sell by date was kind of
- 22:04Speaker 4: a cover your ass for manufacturers so they didn't get
- 22:07Speaker 4: any trouble on people, you know, eating bad food. But
- 22:12Speaker 4: at the same time, if now this is the problem, though,
- 22:15Speaker 4: are people smart enough to look and smell food and
- 22:18Speaker 4: go still good not good.
- 22:21Speaker 1: See, that's that's where I get in trouble. Not because
- 22:25Speaker 1: I don't do that. I will do that, But I
- 22:29Speaker 1: am notorious for eating old food, and I like to
- 22:33Speaker 1: think I've got a pretty good nose. You know, I'm
- 22:36Speaker 1: good at smelling things. So if there's a package in
- 22:39Speaker 1: the fridge that had the sell by day or best
- 22:42Speaker 1: if used by date, most people think that is in
- 22:46Speaker 1: relation to the quality or freshness of the product of
- 22:49Speaker 1: the food the drink. Yeah, I don't live by that.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I go by the smell test and the eyeball test.
- 22:56Speaker 1: If it looks bad. If it smells bad, I don't
- 22:59Speaker 1: eat it. If it looks okay and it smells me,
- 23:02Speaker 1: I might eat it.
- 23:04Speaker 4: But like, the other thing is if you like, if
- 23:08Speaker 4: you get ground b from the grocery store and it
- 23:11Speaker 4: has a best if you use or freeze by date,
- 23:15Speaker 4: that's something you should pay attention to. But a lot
- 23:19Speaker 4: of the other stuff, especially can good goods, you just
- 23:24Speaker 4: typically they'll go a lot longer than whatever the date is.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Yeah. Look, if you're worried about canned goods, look, there
- 23:31Speaker 1: are TV preachers and conspiracy theorists making lots of money
- 23:36Speaker 1: selling buckets of food or cans of food with their
- 23:39Speaker 1: face on it. So if you're gonna trust, you know,
- 23:43Speaker 1: a can of people chow from Alex Jones that's twenty
- 23:47Speaker 1: years old, but not trust a six month old can
- 23:50Speaker 1: of del Monte green beans, you got a problem. Use
- 23:54Speaker 1: some common sense.
- 23:56Speaker 7: But I didn't know there was a difference between the
- 23:58Speaker 7: sell buy and used by or free Like, I didn't
- 24:01Speaker 7: know that.
- 24:01Speaker 3: I didn't know that was a thing.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's why I think California is doing this
- 24:05Speaker 1: is to try to remove any confusion.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Gotcha?
- 24:08Speaker 2: Okay, No, because I don't think they're doing it on meat. Meat.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Meat is still a pretty viable the butcher will say
- 24:16Speaker 4: used by or freeze by for fresh meat because there
- 24:22Speaker 4: there definitely is a timeframe in which you have to
- 24:26Speaker 4: do one or the other else it will spoil.
- 24:31Speaker 7: Okay, And if you freeze meat, like how long can
- 24:34Speaker 7: you freeze that for?
- 24:37Speaker 3: Like? How long does that last?
- 24:38Speaker 2: It should last?
- 24:39Speaker 4: I mean if you wrap it correctly, you know, months,
- 24:45Speaker 4: oh at least, Okay, probably up to the year if
- 24:48Speaker 4: it's if it's wrapped correctly and it doesn't get freezer burn.
- 24:52Speaker 1: The like. I know, like around this time of year,
- 24:54Speaker 1: it's very common for people to post things news outlets
- 24:59Speaker 1: to post things about when it's okay to still eat
- 25:03Speaker 1: your Thanksgiving leftovers. I'm gonna tell you now, if you
- 25:06Speaker 1: still have leftovers from Thanksgiving, you shouldn't eat it anymore
- 25:10Speaker 1: unless you're frozen it. That's different and that's coming from me, okay,
- 25:14Speaker 1: because we're like two weeks removed now, over two weeks
- 25:18Speaker 1: removed from Thanksgiving. So if you're still trying to munch
- 25:20Speaker 1: on Thanksgiving leftovers, you might die or if you're not sure,
- 25:24Speaker 1: just throw yourself in front of a buick.
- 25:28Speaker 4: And also, food, food does not. For some reason, we
- 25:32Speaker 4: have become this. It is becoming grained that like if
- 25:36Speaker 4: food is left out for an hour, it's it's spoiled
- 25:38Speaker 4: and it goes bad.
- 25:39Speaker 2: And that's just not the case.
- 25:41Speaker 1: No, you can leave it out for a while. Yeah, yeah,
- 25:44Speaker 1: you can eat. You can eat some things that you
- 25:47Speaker 1: maybe grew up being told not to, like like a
- 25:50Speaker 1: banana that's completely black. That just means it's really good flavor.
- 25:56Speaker 2: That's great.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, that that's what you're suppose to use
- 26:01Speaker 1: when when you're cooking with banana. Yeah, you throw that
- 26:04Speaker 1: in banana bread, you put it in some pudding. It's
- 26:06Speaker 1: gonna be the best stuff, as you know. But it
- 26:08Speaker 1: looks bad. But just because it looks bad doesn't mean
- 26:11Speaker 1: it tastes bad.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:13Speaker 7: Interesting learning some new stuff today because I I've left
- 26:16Speaker 7: out food before and thought, well I could eat that,
- 26:19Speaker 7: and then my girlfriend would be like, no, that's it's spoiled.
- 26:22Speaker 3: It's been out for two hours.
- 26:23Speaker 2: It's spoiled.
- 26:24Speaker 1: No, I think you're fine.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Okay, I will let her know this. This is interesting.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Look right, like eat R.
- 26:31Speaker 4: You're in college, how often did you leave a pizza
- 26:34Speaker 4: out for a day and you would still go grab
- 26:36Speaker 4: a size?
- 26:38Speaker 3: I wouldn't.
- 26:41Speaker 7: I had fraternity brothers that would come over and finish
- 26:43Speaker 7: the pizza for me, so.
- 26:44Speaker 2: I didn't have to.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean a piece of pizza is gonna last
- 26:48Speaker 1: a long time. The things loaded with preservatives. But if
- 26:51Speaker 1: you leave some you know, if if some meat's been
- 26:54Speaker 1: left out for a little bit, you're probably okay. It's
- 26:57Speaker 1: been very rare that some gray meat has killed somebody,
- 27:00Speaker 1: so I think you're fine.
- 27:01Speaker 4: Rush, Well, it's yeah, but it's like if it's one
- 27:04Speaker 4: hundred and ten degrees and you leave it in your car, Yeah,
- 27:07Speaker 4: then you question things. But if it's on, if it's
- 27:11Speaker 4: in your house at seventy two degrees, it's okay.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Gotcha. We have a Christmas burrito.
- 27:19Speaker 7: We've got a burrito from Taco Bueno that we forgot
- 27:22Speaker 7: about and found it months later and it hadn't spoiled,
- 27:27Speaker 7: and so we call it the Christmas Britos. So we
- 27:29Speaker 7: put it on the tree and it still hasn't spoiled,
- 27:32Speaker 7: and it's been I'm not even making this up. It
- 27:34Speaker 7: hasn't spoiled yet and it's been five years. Like, there's
- 27:39Speaker 7: no spots on it, there's no green, there's no mold,
- 27:42Speaker 7: a thick and we put it on.
- 27:44Speaker 3: The tree every year.
- 27:46Speaker 1: That really says a lot about many things, not the
- 27:50Speaker 1: least of which is what else is on your Christmas tree?
- 27:56Speaker 4: I'm just impressed you have one.
- 28:06Speaker 8: You're listening to the Treehouse.

- 28:54Speaker 1: can just you know, click on contact or shoot us emails.
- 28:57Speaker 1: All that available at Treehouse on air dot com, just
- 29:00Speaker 1: like what Frank did back inside the Treehouse. Now, Dan
- 29:05Speaker 1: Trey Raj with you and Frank. Frank is inside the
- 29:08Speaker 1: treehouse now because he went to Treehouse on Air dot
- 29:10Speaker 1: com and he sent us a message, and I want
- 29:13Speaker 1: to thank him for it and also share it with
- 29:15Speaker 1: you now, Frank says, longtime listener, second time messenger, appreciate that.
- 29:23Speaker 1: He said. The first time he ever asked us anything
- 29:25Speaker 1: was back on our CBS Radio one O five three
- 29:29Speaker 1: days asking if our program director was gay. But today's question,
- 29:35Speaker 1: it was a different time, back then, different times. Today's
- 29:40Speaker 1: question is he says, I heard Dan has seen some
- 29:42Speaker 1: horrible movies. American Ninja series has been some of the worst.
- 29:50Speaker 1: But has Dan ever seen any of the following films?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Poultry Geist. I had to look this up. It's a
- 30:04Speaker 1: real thing. It is poultry Geist. Night of the Chicken
- 30:08Speaker 1: Dead not rated, released in two thousand and six with
- 30:14Speaker 1: an impressive six stars out of ten on IMDb zombified
- 30:20Speaker 1: chickens attempt to kill the fast food workers that cook
- 30:23Speaker 1: them in a restaurant and built on an ancient burial ground.
- 30:27Speaker 1: That is poultry Geist two thousand and six. How was it?
- 30:33Speaker 2: You know what?
- 30:34Speaker 1: I haven't seen it yet. There's that yet, Yeah, but
- 30:41Speaker 1: I mean it's streaming on free V as well as
- 30:44Speaker 1: Plex Movies and TV, or you could rent it on
- 30:49Speaker 1: Prime Video for three ninety nine. Ironically, you can get
- 30:52Speaker 1: an order of chicken Tenders for about the same price
- 30:55Speaker 1: and it's probably going to be way more enjoyable. But
- 30:57Speaker 1: to be honest with you, six out of ten stars
- 30:59Speaker 1: and IMDb b is not terrible.
- 31:02Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So no, Frank, I have not seen poultry Geist yet
- 31:10Speaker 1: yet yet. Yeah, then he asks, have you seen Jim Katta.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Jim Katta came out in nineteen eighty five rated R.
- 31:22Speaker 1: It's a ninety minute film and it is about an
- 31:26Speaker 1: American gymnast who travels to the distant land of parmisstand
- 31:31Speaker 1: to compete in a deadly game not won by a
- 31:34Speaker 1: foreigner in more than nine hundred years. Yes, Frank, I
- 31:40Speaker 1: have seen Jim Katta. This film that I have seen
- 31:46Speaker 1: only has four point four stars. Out of ten on IMDb.
- 31:50Speaker 1: That means the chicken movie poultry Geist is considered better
- 31:55Speaker 1: than Jim Katta, a movie I've actually seen. Yeah, stand
- 32:01Speaker 1: Parma Stan, I know that that. That got me too.
- 32:06Speaker 3: That's where my uncle's from.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Uh oh god, it's so bad I have. I've seen
- 32:15Speaker 1: this movie. And the thing is is I don't remember
- 32:17Speaker 1: like the first time I saw it or anything. I
- 32:19Speaker 1: would like to admit that a lot of the bad
- 32:21Speaker 1: movies that I've seen the first time, I probably should
- 32:25Speaker 1: let that slip.
- 32:28Speaker 3: There was a second.
- 32:31Speaker 1: There may have been a six pack in there.
- 32:33Speaker 2: I just.
- 32:35Speaker 7: Was there a young was there a young dam looking
- 32:37Speaker 7: at a map like one day I'm gonna have enough
- 32:40Speaker 7: money to go to Parmistan.
- 32:44Speaker 1: I knew that wasn't a real place. But I will
- 32:47Speaker 1: say a lot of the bad movies I've seen in
- 32:50Speaker 1: my lifetime are because I would stay up late on
- 32:52Speaker 1: Friday Saturday night and watch USA up all night the
- 32:57Speaker 1: movies that would come on Basic Cable, the USA channel.
- 33:01Speaker 1: At one point it was hosted by Ronda Sheer on
- 33:03Speaker 1: one night, and I think the other night was Gilbert Gottfried.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I think that's when I first saw Jim Cotta and
- 33:09Speaker 1: maybe this subsequent view.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Which would have you up Ronda or Gilbert.
- 33:18Speaker 1: It was definitely rondic because Ronda would typically show more
- 33:21Speaker 1: of the like not even B movie, but like D movie,
- 33:27Speaker 1: D movie, not only because the list of where it
- 33:29Speaker 1: falls in Hollywood, but also the size of the breasts
- 33:32Speaker 1: of the stars of the movies. That was pretty common.
- 33:35Speaker 1: And then the other one that Frank asks about is
- 33:39Speaker 1: has Dan seen Flight of the Living Dead. I do
- 33:46Speaker 1: not think I have seen Flight of the Living Dead
- 33:49Speaker 1: outbreak on a plane. This came out in two thousand
- 33:52Speaker 1: and seven, also unrated. A mad scientist is transferring a
- 33:56Speaker 1: dead woman in a freezer with an armed guard on
- 33:58Speaker 1: a plane to Paris. After a slight turbulence, the freezer
- 34:02Speaker 1: breaks down and she awakens, turned, turns into a zombie
- 34:08Speaker 1: and infects all on board. I have not seen Flight
- 34:12Speaker 1: of the Living Dead.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Yet.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yet, although it's apparently streaming for free on Prime,
- 34:21Speaker 1: which means I could watch it tonight.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Which one's gonna be first?
- 34:26Speaker 1: I think I may have to go. I think I
- 34:29Speaker 1: may have to go with the one that's free on Prime.
- 34:31Speaker 1: That's the Flight of the Living Dead six stars. Oh
- 34:37Speaker 1: that's true. Hang on, let me see I didn't.
- 34:38Speaker 3: You can't watch that. That's a good movie.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I need to see how many stars. Flight of the
- 34:44Speaker 1: Living Dead has, oh five point one? Also better than
- 34:47Speaker 1: Jim Katta that I've actually seen. Now, I don't want
- 34:52Speaker 1: you to think I only see bad movies. So I'm
- 34:54Speaker 1: going to share with you a trailer of a new
- 34:55Speaker 1: holiday classic that I think will salvage my reput mutation
- 35:00Speaker 1: because I feel like it's been sullied. Shut up, tray
- 35:05Speaker 1: uh So here is here is my submission for a
- 35:08Speaker 1: new Christmas classic, right here inside the treehouse.
- 35:14Speaker 6: I can't believe you do this on Christmas. What tomorrow
- 35:19Speaker 6: is the Christmas Eve comic book party. Well you should
- 35:22Speaker 6: have thought of that before.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Drawing a shark.
- 35:28Speaker 13: Jaws.
- 35:33Speaker 1: God damn, I'm not sure if you caught that. So
- 35:38Speaker 1: the kid in a fit of anger.
- 35:41Speaker 3: M h.
- 35:42Speaker 1: He's a comic book kid, he's an artist, and he
- 35:44Speaker 1: draws a shark with a Santa hat on it and
- 35:47Speaker 1: calls it Santa Jaws, and then in a Christmas miracle,
- 35:51Speaker 1: it comes to life and eats his grandfather.
- 35:53Speaker 6: Right sort, that is Santa Jaus.
- 36:08Speaker 15: I know her, hide her, that is her.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Now, it's just you know, the areas people dying in
- 36:27Speaker 1: the mouth of Santa Jews a great white dark.
- 36:31Speaker 2: Wait wait, I'm sorry, heng On.
- 36:33Speaker 4: There are two things I need to First of all,
- 36:36Speaker 4: did I see a turkey catapult in there? And then
- 36:40Speaker 4: at the end, was Santa Jaw's become a unicorn and
- 36:43Speaker 4: he had a horn sticking out?
- 36:45Speaker 1: I don't have the answers to all your questions, Tray,
- 36:48Speaker 1: because I have yet to see this film. But in
- 36:51Speaker 1: the trailer, no, no, no, yeah, yeah, in the trailer,
- 36:54Speaker 1: it looks like they were trying to summon Santa Jaws
- 36:58Speaker 1: with a whole turkey on a on a catapult. Yes,
- 37:01Speaker 1: that that that is accurate.
- 37:02Speaker 2: I mean, it's just the.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Part where it impales the man. I think it's because
- 37:07Speaker 1: I think it has like a like a like a
- 37:10Speaker 1: boat mast stuck in its head, like I'm assuming, or
- 37:14Speaker 1: a harpoon. Perhaps it looks like they made an attempt
- 37:16Speaker 1: to kill Santa Jaws with it, but instead it's stuck
- 37:19Speaker 1: in his head. And then Santa Jews turns it against
- 37:22Speaker 1: them and uses it as a weapon against some poor dude.
- 37:30Speaker 13: How how you.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Son of a fish?
- 37:37Speaker 4: Yes, but I have to say it's it's those red
- 37:39Speaker 4: eyes that really. I mean they they spent some money
- 37:43Speaker 4: on some special effects there.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 37:47Speaker 1: They really do put the special in special effects.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 37:51Speaker 3: By the way, everybody, everybody in the movie is right.
- 37:58Speaker 2: White.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Well, ra they had to keep it believable.
- 38:11Speaker 13: You're in the tree House.
- 38:17Speaker 14: Visit us online at Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 38:34Speaker 13: You're in the Treehouse.
- 38:36Speaker 14: Listen us online at Treehouse on Air dot com.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Be sure to follow us on social media as well.
- 38:44Speaker 1: It's at Treehouse on Air. That's at Treehouse on Air
- 38:48Speaker 1: across all of our social media platforms. Back inside the Treehouse. Now, Dan,
- 38:54Speaker 1: Trey and Raj with you. And before we jump into
- 38:57Speaker 1: birthdays today, I think I should let you know that
- 39:04Speaker 1: I'm sad to report that the new Christmas classic Santa
- 39:09Speaker 1: Jaws from twenty eighteen only received four out of ten
- 39:15Speaker 1: stars on IMDb. It's very sad, but I feel better
- 39:20Speaker 1: knowing that the Jim Katta movie I've seen a few
- 39:23Speaker 1: times scored better than Santa Jaws. Even though I think
- 39:28Speaker 1: this is all very subjective, and I think a lot
- 39:29Speaker 1: of people it may just be downvoting it because of
- 39:31Speaker 1: its whitewashing of shark victims.
- 39:36Speaker 2: I'm just shocked you haven't seen it.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I am too. Honestly, I really don't know how I haven't.
- 39:42Speaker 1: I'm truly shocked. It's this, says, it is also streaming
- 39:46Speaker 1: on Plex and Prime. Let me cl on that just
- 39:50Speaker 1: to see. IMDb wants to open Prime Video. Yes, open
- 39:54Speaker 1: you see if I actually can't. Yeah, I'm watching it.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Come up. Oh yeah, Plant it's streaming for free.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Well if you have Prime, yeah, so I mean it's
- 40:07Speaker 1: quote unquote free.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 40:10Speaker 1: It's making me watch an ad. So hang on, just
- 40:14Speaker 1: bear with me just a moment, because I really want
- 40:16Speaker 1: this movie to pop up later when we turn on
- 40:19Speaker 1: the TV to try to figure out what to watch
- 40:22Speaker 1: after dinner. I wanted to pop up on the screen.
- 40:24Speaker 1: So my wife says, were you watching this? And a
- 40:28Speaker 1: thing I was waiting for you? I rated sixteen plus violence,
- 40:34Speaker 1: alcohol use, smoking, and foul language in Santa Jaws. M
- 40:42Speaker 1: Active Entertainment presents ni ckin baddish Daniel Lewis production. Is
- 40:48Speaker 1: that what our old producers up? I wonder if he
- 40:55Speaker 1: I wonder if he plays the Santa Jaws in this field?
- 41:01Speaker 1: See there for proof. I am watching the film. Oh,
- 41:11Speaker 1: I can't wait to watch this later.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Your poor wife.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Yeahs, that is love.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Now, this is the stuff that she makes me watch
- 41:21Speaker 1: at the gym.
- 41:24Speaker 3: That poor Jim.
- 41:28Speaker 1: You know what, if you ever want to be thoroughly entertained,
- 41:32Speaker 1: use the olyptical next to mine and look at my
- 41:34Speaker 1: phone because you're gonna see some stuff, all the stuff
- 41:40Speaker 1: I'm not allowed to watch at home. All right, today
- 41:42Speaker 1: is Monday, December sixteenth, twenty twenty four birthdays. Let's do it. Raj.
- 41:50Speaker 1: I'm not sure on the pronunciation, so bear with me.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I'm white, not Indian actress and smallest woman in the
- 41:56Speaker 1: world golt amji j y t I is the first name,
- 42:01Speaker 1: last name amge.
- 42:04Speaker 3: Amge Yeah.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Indian actress and smallest woman in the world is thirty
- 42:09Speaker 1: one today.
- 42:11Speaker 7: Oh wow, okay, but you did say the first name
- 42:13Speaker 7: was correct, and I mean you got both names correct.
- 42:16Speaker 3: But the hardest one I think.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Would be jot jot okay jo t MG is thirty
- 42:23Speaker 1: one today. She was mop Petit on American Horror Story
- 42:26Speaker 1: Freak Show. She is just over two feet tall. Or
- 42:32Speaker 1: I have an idea I mentioned earlier. You need to
- 42:34Speaker 1: follow us on social media at Treehouse on air and
- 42:38Speaker 1: on our Instagram. Raj has posted a couple of funny
- 42:41Speaker 1: videos of a bald man who appears to be a
- 42:44Speaker 1: black belt in some type of martial art, and he
- 42:49Speaker 1: is really big on kicking, except he can't kick anything
- 42:52Speaker 1: above knee level. So if this young injury, if this
- 42:56Speaker 1: little Indian actress ever attacks him, he is prepared. Since
- 43:00Speaker 1: she's only two feet tall, he can kick her.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Hugs.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll have you all. Other birthdays today, star of
- 43:11Speaker 1: the Divergent movies, Theo James. He is forty one today.
- 43:15Speaker 1: To some women, he's a heart throb. To me, he's
- 43:17Speaker 1: a guy I saw in the airport once when we
- 43:19Speaker 1: visited Boston, and I'm the only one that recognized him.
- 43:22Speaker 1: So not only have I seen some bad movies, but
- 43:24Speaker 1: I'll recognize you in the end the airport as well,
- 43:27Speaker 1: although to be fair, Divergent wasn't necessarily part of the
- 43:30Speaker 1: bad movie list. Other birthdays today Kristin Ritter, who I
- 43:35Speaker 1: probably know best as Jessica Jones, the TV show from Marvel.
- 43:39Speaker 1: She's forty three today. She was also in Breaking Bad.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Peter Dante is fifty six. He's part of Adam Sandler's
- 43:52Speaker 1: gang of buddies that are in all the films that
- 43:53Speaker 1: he's done. He was the quarterback and the water boy,
- 43:56Speaker 1: Dante and Grandma's Boy, and then of course a bunch
- 43:58Speaker 1: of other roles in the Sandlord movies. Benjamin Bratt is
- 44:02Speaker 1: sixty one.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Wow.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Yeah, William the Refrigerator Perry sixty two today, who brought
- 44:09Speaker 1: hope to big men everywhere when they lined him up
- 44:13Speaker 1: in the backfield and handed him the ball, to which
- 44:17Speaker 1: every opposing defense in the NFL said that. Remember how
- 44:24Speaker 1: Dion used to say, business decision. That's a business decision.
- 44:28Speaker 1: When you see William the Refrigerator Perry being handed the
- 44:30Speaker 1: ball on the goal line and you're on defense, you
- 44:32Speaker 1: say that let him score.
- 44:34Speaker 2: Yep.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Other birthdays today, Billy Gibbons from zz Top is seventy five.
- 44:44Speaker 1: And if you've never seen Trey smile, I highly recommend it.
- 44:48Speaker 1: It will bring joy into your heart and happiness into
- 44:53Speaker 1: your life seeing Trey's smile because it is so rare,
- 44:58Speaker 1: well not only brighton your day, but it will lighten
- 45:04Speaker 1: your entire existence. And Raj and I have the blessing
- 45:09Speaker 1: to see Trey smile almost every day, but it's not
- 45:13Speaker 1: going to be a smile as big as the one
- 45:16Speaker 1: he is about to dawn for us here inside the
- 45:18Speaker 1: treehouse because Raj, are you ready? Bennie Anderson from Abba
- 45:27Speaker 1: is seventy eight years old today. Look at that man, smile.
- 45:37Speaker 9: I know you.
- 45:39Speaker 1: You love you some Abba.
- 45:43Speaker 2: I do love Abba, but I must profess I did
- 45:47Speaker 2: not know their names, so it's.
- 45:50Speaker 3: Now you see the beard.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Additional reason to smile?
- 45:53Speaker 3: Is he the bearded one? Or what they both bearded?
- 45:59Speaker 1: Bennie Anderson. Well there's four of them and it's like
- 46:01Speaker 1: it's two dudes and two hicks, right, Uh yeah, Minnie
- 46:06Speaker 1: Anderson in the photo, I see he does have a beard.
- 46:09Speaker 3: Yes, I did see the brown hair guy.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Yeah, a little figure. I love about habit not.
- 46:16Speaker 4: Besides there all their great hits is the fact that
- 46:19Speaker 4: they won Eurovision. I mean that that's where they started. Yeah,
- 46:22Speaker 4: like they they were that movie before you even thought
- 46:30Speaker 4: about it.
- 46:31Speaker 1: They were an inspiration.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 46:35Speaker 16: The reason I laughed is you don't see inside my
- 46:37Speaker 16: head is where I didn't.
- 46:38Speaker 1: See a young what's in your head?
- 46:41Speaker 16: A young tray with like short shorts and like roller
- 46:44Speaker 16: skates and just just just the headset on just listening
- 46:50Speaker 16: to Abba and just so happy.
- 46:52Speaker 3: And Leonard.
- 46:57Speaker 1: The only kid Leonard text has brought up all the
- 46:59Speaker 1: gold sequences.
- 47:04Speaker 2: I used to play the hell out of that eight track.
- 47:12Speaker 8: You're listening to the tree House.
- 47:14Speaker 9: Visit us online at Treehouse OnAir dot com.
- 47:31Speaker 13: You're in the Treehouse.
- 47:33Speaker 14: Visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.
- 47:39Speaker 9: Uh.
- 47:39Speaker 1: You can also donate to the RMS Treehouse Listeners Foundation.
- 47:43Speaker 1: We've issued a lot of money in the last few months.
- 47:46Speaker 1: It'd be nice to get some of that put back
- 47:48Speaker 1: in the foundation so we can be used in the
- 47:50Speaker 1: future for the unfortunate next situation that it will be needed.
- 47:55Speaker 3: So you can do that.
- 47:56Speaker 1: Donate to the RMS Treehouse Listeners Foundation at Treehouse on
- 47:59Speaker 1: Air dot com. And those funds issued go to families
- 48:03Speaker 1: of police officers and firefighters who have been killed in
- 48:06Speaker 1: the DFW area in the line of duty. We appreciate it. Again,
- 48:10Speaker 1: it's Treehouse on Air dot com. Back inside the Treehouse now, Dan,
- 48:14Speaker 1: Trey and Raj one last little bit of stuff to
- 48:18Speaker 1: share with you before we close up for the day.
- 48:21Speaker 1: And it's something that I really feel like, I all right,
- 48:26Speaker 1: it's kind of a downer. I really feel like I
- 48:28Speaker 1: shouldn't have to say this, but here we are. Please
- 48:31Speaker 1: don't on the bus to catch that. To say it again,
- 48:37Speaker 1: please do not on the bus, Okay, I say that
- 48:41Speaker 1: because a new poll asked thousands of bus travelers worldwide
- 48:46Speaker 1: to rank the things that annoy them the most that
- 48:48Speaker 1: other passengers do. The number one response wasn't working on
- 48:53Speaker 1: the bus. No no, that was actually playing music too loud,
- 48:56Speaker 1: but participating in sexual activity was the second one. So
- 49:02Speaker 1: out of thousands of bus travelers worldwide, the second most
- 49:07Speaker 1: common answer that passengers want other passengers to stop doing
- 49:11Speaker 1: is on the bus. Yeah, poor hygiene came in third.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Now that's that's internationally. Internationally, the second most common complaint
- 49:23Speaker 1: was people doing stuff on the bus they shouldn't be.
- 49:27Speaker 1: In America, though it was a little bit different, the
- 49:29Speaker 1: number one thing according to American bus travelers that they
- 49:33Speaker 1: wish people would stop doing is smelling bad. Poor personal
- 49:37Speaker 1: hygiene was number one, follow by playing music to loud
- 49:39Speaker 1: is number three or number two. Number three, people smoking
- 49:43Speaker 1: or vaping on the bus, number four, talking too loud,
- 49:46Speaker 1: and then coming up in the five hole. Fittingly, that's
- 49:50Speaker 1: where people being on the bus annoyed American bus travelers.
- 49:54Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 49:57Speaker 3: I mean, if you have getting some action on a
- 50:00Speaker 3: bus game. Good for you. I mean, that's that's tough.
- 50:06Speaker 1: I mean it's tough because I mean it's look, if
- 50:08Speaker 1: you're the passenger and you and you see it, you
- 50:10Speaker 1: witness it. I mean, one, there's envy because well, that's
- 50:16Speaker 1: a fun road trip. So you're wishing you were, you know,
- 50:20Speaker 1: getting some action on the bus. So I think that's
- 50:23Speaker 1: part of the reason people would complain about it. The
- 50:25Speaker 1: other thing is it it's it's the when you realize
- 50:30Speaker 1: that some of those videos that you've been watching on
- 50:33Speaker 1: porn hub aren't fake, like people actually are on the
- 50:37Speaker 1: bus and posting it on porn Hub.
- 50:40Speaker 3: Yeah, don't get on a bus, that says bang bus.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Reality is a tough thing to swallow. Among other things,
- 51:01Speaker 1: thanks for hanging out with us in the Treehouse today.
- 51:03Speaker 1: For all things Treehouse, go to Treehouse on Air dot com.

- 51:16Speaker 1: back here tomorrow. Inside the Treehouse
