- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome back to artists on artists on artists on artists
- 0:07Speaker 1: who asked why so serious?
- 0:10Speaker 2: We did to this group of people who all played
- 0:14Speaker 2: the Joker.
- 0:15Speaker 3: The Joker is the most iconic Batman villain and maybe
- 0:19Speaker 3: the most iconic villain of all time, and recently it
- 0:23Speaker 3: has become almost the role of a lifetime for young
- 0:27Speaker 3: and old actors to explore what it means to be
- 0:30Speaker 3: freaked up.
- 0:32Speaker 4: Some may say it's the new Hamlet. Many actors take
- 0:35Speaker 4: it on, have their own process and do it in
- 0:38Speaker 4: their own fucked up way. We bring some of these
- 0:40Speaker 4: actors here today around a table.
- 0:43Speaker 5: So foot on your face, paint and get real smiley.
- 0:47Speaker 5: Let's listen in.
- 0:51Speaker 3: You know, for me, the craft is more about experiencing
- 0:55Speaker 3: somebody else's life than anything else. For me, the craft
- 0:59Speaker 3: is curious. And that's why I wanted to dig into
- 1:03Speaker 3: a role like this because for the first time in
- 1:05Speaker 3: my life, I had to answer, why so serious? You know?
- 1:09Speaker 5: Because it's we have that that known truth that is
- 1:14Speaker 5: so serious. So serious is a complete sentence, is what
- 1:18Speaker 5: I've always said, you know, so serious, that's the nature
- 1:21Speaker 5: of life. But why now only the sick and twisted
- 1:26Speaker 5: ask a question like that.
- 1:28Speaker 3: I totally agree. I see you one hundred percent, because
- 1:31Speaker 3: for me, only the sick and the twisted would ever
- 1:34Speaker 3: ever even surmount to ask the question why, And that's
- 1:37Speaker 3: what makes them special, and that's actually a way in
- 1:40Speaker 3: for me. Is somebody that believes that the only way
- 1:44Speaker 3: to deal with the pain of life is to joke.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I am the Joker.
- 1:51Speaker 4: Yeahally, totally totally agree, and I totally believe that what
- 1:58Speaker 4: we all have to can you today, it's going to
- 2:02Speaker 4: be individually scary wattle.
- 2:06Speaker 5: We get started, I'll start.
- 2:09Speaker 3: My name is Dion Alexander, and I am the Joker.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I played the Joker in the twenty seventeen version of
- 2:19Speaker 3: the movie and it changed my life and ever since
- 2:23Speaker 3: then it's been a NonStop spiral looking for a role
- 2:27Speaker 3: like that.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Nice to meet you. I am Ellie Bombar and I
- 2:35Speaker 4: am the Joker. I played the Joker in a twenty
- 2:42Speaker 4: twelve adaptation. Not a lot of people saw it, and
- 2:47Speaker 4: I'm really excited to be here.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I'm the Joker.
- 2:51Speaker 4: I am the Joker.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Where was the adaptation?
- 2:55Speaker 4: It was straight to DVD?
- 2:57Speaker 5: Oh DVD is still retro?
- 3:00Speaker 4: Yes, it was it got it got tanked?
- 3:04Speaker 3: What was it called what was that Batman film called.
- 3:07Speaker 4: The Bright Night? It was like a girl version.
- 3:11Speaker 3: It was Batman flipped on its head, Batman all girls.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Yeah, and it just HBO Max tanked.
- 3:18Speaker 3: It completely crazy.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Yeah, they were tanking stuff way before we even knew it.
- 3:25Speaker 5: That's the thing about him. Well, my name is Matthew Nashville,
- 3:30Speaker 5: and I am playing the Joker in an upcoming motion
- 3:35Speaker 5: picture and yet to be released. We're shooting for some
- 3:39Speaker 5: tower around twenty twenty six, twenty seven. And you know,
- 3:43Speaker 5: I'm actually not a famous guy. I uh started playing
- 3:47Speaker 5: the Joker in repertory, Nashville Repertory, and so I've been
- 3:51Speaker 5: playing the Joker for quite a long time.
- 3:54Speaker 3: From the Joker on stage.
- 3:55Speaker 4: From the Joker on stage as repertory.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah. Absolutely, they play interpretation, I'm sorry, interpretation of that.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Well, I would argue that it is the Joker and
- 4:06Speaker 5: the film is the interpretation.
- 4:09Speaker 3: I love that, and you're wrong, but.
- 4:10Speaker 5: I love that, And oh that's funny.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 4:13Speaker 5: That's funny.
- 4:14Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 4:15Speaker 4: That you're being wrong is funny. And that's scared.
- 4:17Speaker 5: That's funny that you think that. Now, why so I
- 4:21Speaker 5: won't even say it. I won't even say it. But
- 4:23Speaker 5: I'm so grateful for what the Jokers brought me. The
- 4:26Speaker 5: Joker taught me more about myself than anything else. I'm
- 4:30Speaker 5: blessed to be the Joker. I'm grateful for the Joker.
- 4:33Speaker 5: And iude, yeah, er, so you're practice. You got it
- 4:42Speaker 5: right on the money. You cracked exactly what it is.
- 4:46Speaker 5: You cracked exactly what my thing is. My Joker is Christian.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Wow.
- 4:54Speaker 5: And so I thank God every day, and I thank
- 4:56Speaker 5: the Joker every day because you know, the Joker, the
- 4:59Speaker 5: Joker is me. The Jokers love the Joker's life. The
- 5:02Speaker 5: Joker saved me, and the Joker can save you too.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Nice.
- 5:07Speaker 5: I'm just so grateful.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I am the Joker.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Hi, guys, my name is Prescott Thomas Carpone and I'm
- 5:15Speaker 1: playing Young Joker.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Coming to CBS this fall.
- 5:18Speaker 3: And I've heard about this. They are making a whole
- 5:22Speaker 3: CBS series.
- 5:23Speaker 4: The Multi Camp. Is it a multiicamer It's a multi camp.
- 5:26Speaker 2: It's Young Joker.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He's thirteen years old and he's navigating not only being
- 5:30Speaker 1: a clown, but being a teenager.
- 5:32Speaker 3: I've heard they've taken a sick, twisted version of a
- 5:35Speaker 3: multi camp.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Indubitably, they certainly have, and I'm very excited to be performing.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I've been a child actor for a very long time,
- 5:41Speaker 1: as I like to call it a youth artist. I
- 5:44Speaker 1: don't say child actor because I just think that's reductive.
- 5:47Speaker 1: And I'm very, very excited, and I'm excited to see
- 5:49Speaker 1: all of you as well.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I have heard about your smile. I heard huge.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Yes, I have a big smile. I've been smiling since birth.
- 5:58Speaker 1: My mommy said I came out smiled. My mommy says,
- 6:01Speaker 1: I'm always smiling.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Oh, he might be keeping already into the Joker. I
- 6:06Speaker 3: think Joker.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I think that's actually kind of me.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Before this, I was doing a lot of shoe ads
- 6:15Speaker 2: and now I'm doing The Joker.
- 6:17Speaker 4: And you said you're twelve.
- 6:18Speaker 2: No, I'm about to be twelve.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Have you seen the other Joker movies?
- 6:23Speaker 1: I have seen, uh, the cartoon Batman, the animated series,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and I saw the original Joker.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I mean Mark Hamill. We got to give it up
- 6:30Speaker 3: to Mark.
- 6:31Speaker 1: We like Mark Marks, this old man who's in Star Wars,
- 6:35Speaker 1: the Last Jedi.
- 6:36Speaker 2: He's so funny.
- 6:38Speaker 4: But your mom hasn't let you watch, or your dad
- 6:40Speaker 4: hasn't let you watch any other ones.
- 6:44Speaker 2: No, she says, I haven't watched that.
- 6:46Speaker 3: That's mom over there.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Yeah, don't look at her, so she's not always be
- 6:49Speaker 2: looked at, she told me. Okay, so don't worry about her.
- 6:51Speaker 2: She doesn't want too much attention on her.
- 6:54Speaker 5: She's got a little stage frid Huh.
- 6:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I think she just doesn't want to be a big deal.
- 7:00Speaker 5: Yes, yes, she's making a lot of our motions, a
- 7:05Speaker 5: lot of.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Our but she doesn't want to be a problem. She
- 7:07Speaker 1: doesn't want to be a problem. So please don't talk
- 7:09Speaker 1: about her. Please don't talk about her.
- 7:11Speaker 4: It's okay, you're saying, everything's fine, son.
- 7:15Speaker 5: We're not here to talk about your mom. We're here
- 7:17Speaker 5: to talk about the reason while we're all right.
- 7:19Speaker 3: And that's what I was thinking. I want to dive
- 7:22Speaker 3: in because for me it was a role of the lifetime.
- 7:25Speaker 4: And when I have done it already and they are
- 7:28Speaker 4: about to embark on it, is that Drew, you've already played.
- 7:30Speaker 3: I've done it and they're calling me back to do
- 7:32Speaker 3: it again.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Incredible, what are you?
- 7:34Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 7:36Speaker 3: I'm doing it again. They're making a short film, and
- 7:39Speaker 3: I just wanted to get back into it.
- 7:41Speaker 5: So is it the same people who made the original feature.
- 7:46Speaker 3: No, the same people that made the original feature have
- 7:49Speaker 3: moved on, but I have not. I have decided to
- 7:53Speaker 3: fund a short film with my friend Gabriel. He's a
- 7:56Speaker 3: fantastic music producer, self fund it self fund and we
- 8:00Speaker 3: were doing a short film in the Life of the Joker,
- 8:02Speaker 3: because there's something calling me back that I felt like
- 8:06Speaker 3: I didn't get to finish the first round. If you
- 8:08Speaker 3: know what I mean, and I'm sure each and every
- 8:11Speaker 3: one of you do.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Well, I do know what you mean that you didn't
- 8:14Speaker 5: get to finish the first round because you were famously
- 8:18Speaker 5: recast ninety five percent.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Oh the way through the moon shot the entire movie
- 8:24Speaker 3: besides five days, and they decided to go in a
- 8:28Speaker 3: different direction.
- 8:29Speaker 2: But they used your back, right.
- 8:31Speaker 3: They used my back a lot, didn't They go with
- 8:35Speaker 3: went for No, it was a different Joker. They went
- 8:37Speaker 3: with Heath. No, they would go with Heath. Let's not
- 8:41Speaker 3: say that they went with they went with another actor. Well,
- 8:50Speaker 3: they went with another actor. I was replaced the last second,
- 8:53Speaker 3: And as heartbreaking as that was, it I was just
- 8:57Speaker 3: lucky to get the experience to dawn on such a
- 9:02Speaker 3: prolific complex speak on that interesting, Yes.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Truly, yes, are you guys beh or ah before heath
- 9:13Speaker 4: or after Heath?
- 9:15Speaker 5: Well, I'm in a timeline. It depends on if you
- 9:19Speaker 5: if you believe tom is linear or not. I believe
- 9:21Speaker 5: it to be one flat, ever pulsating heartbeat that connects
- 9:26Speaker 5: each of us through its gorgeous tendrils of lot, and
- 9:30Speaker 5: I believe.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It to stand completely still when I'm in chemistry class.
- 9:36Speaker 2: It's a good one.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Your mom's nodding really hard.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Did I hit it right?
- 9:40Speaker 4: She's holding a cue card that exactly what you just said.
- 9:43Speaker 2: No, no, don't look at the Q cards and don't
- 9:45Speaker 2: mention the Q cards.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Okay, okay, I won't mention the Q card.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Imagine I'm the only one who can see her.
- 9:50Speaker 5: Okay, we'll do copy that. I am so in terms
- 9:57Speaker 5: of after it is, of course, you know Heath left
- 10:00Speaker 5: such a blueprint.
- 10:02Speaker 4: I do believe.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Go yeah, but I actually I'm a religious man. I
- 10:07Speaker 5: go by a different timeline. That's pre j Q or
- 10:11Speaker 5: after j.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Q Jesus Christ Jesus quet.
- 10:19Speaker 5: So the abbreviation I was thinking of.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Walking walking walking, Oh, yes, of course, walking walking, jalking Jen.
- 10:37Speaker 4: The news of Jesus Christ.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Walking Jesus Christ, or is it walking queenex to.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Me, there to be there one and the same Jesus
- 10:47Speaker 5: Christ walking Queenix. They're all pulsing the same que Quenix
- 10:55Speaker 5: Queen exactly.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I loved her Joker, by the way.
- 10:58Speaker 4: I love she was jo a joker she did for SNL.
- 11:02Speaker 3: One sketches. She did one sketches the Joker in SNL,
- 11:06Speaker 3: and boy did she murder it.
- 11:08Speaker 5: I believe she got there. She got there more than
- 11:12Speaker 5: most other bosom. Sorry to swear bozo jokers you see around.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Let's talk about jokes, joker, joke, joko.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Seriously, but my bozo joke, My joker took place in
- 11:30Speaker 4: the mall. It was when they tried to make Batman
- 11:32Speaker 4: a girly thing and it sucked. Okay, no one saw
- 11:35Speaker 4: my joker.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I saw your jokes. I saw your joker. It was
- 11:38Speaker 3: just amazing. Your commitment to joker girl in the mall
- 11:42Speaker 3: who's causing ruckus by stealing and messing up clothes was amazing.
- 11:47Speaker 5: And that origin story, it just it makes so much
- 11:50Speaker 5: sense because making the Joker originally one of those girls
- 11:54Speaker 5: who sells jewelry in the middle Kiosks of the mall
- 11:57Speaker 5: that no one wants to stop bat That is a
- 12:00Speaker 5: Joker origin story. Really, that job would like anybody the Joker.
- 12:05Speaker 4: Yeah, and all it took was one forever twenty one
- 12:07Speaker 4: employee to believe me, to believe my character, for me
- 12:11Speaker 4: to take my Kiosk role as a straightener, I would
- 12:15Speaker 4: straighten people's hair and start to make that my weapon.
- 12:18Speaker 4: But here's the thing, it's a bozo joke because no
- 12:21Speaker 4: one thought it went straight to DVD. No one liked it.
- 12:26Speaker 5: This is something non Joker teacher told me. Something I
- 12:31Speaker 5: studied under j Q, which is justin quantum.
- 12:39Speaker 7: In quantum, yeah, he taught my intro to Joker class,
- 12:43Speaker 7: and so I was. I was an intro Joker, and
- 12:46Speaker 7: I took Joker two, in Joker three with Billy Billy
- 12:51Speaker 7: Bog and then.
- 12:52Speaker 4: The long form joke or short form.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I didn't get into long form Joker after Joker three.
- 12:58Speaker 2: It took me three tries.
- 13:00Speaker 5: That's okay, And you're so young, you've so much time.
- 13:03Speaker 3: I've actually got a question about did you read the
- 13:04Speaker 3: original Joker text or was it kind of like in
- 13:07Speaker 3: a cliff Notes version of the joke. The comic book, Yes,
- 13:10Speaker 3: was it a more of a translation of the original
- 13:12Speaker 3: Joker text the comic book the original comic book.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I was confused by it, so I read No
- 13:17Speaker 1: Fear Joke Here, and so it was all the original
- 13:20Speaker 1: text of the Joker and the other side of the translation.
- 13:25Speaker 5: It's a really invaluable you can get him.
- 13:27Speaker 2: At Burns and Noble.
- 13:29Speaker 3: No Fear Joke Here. I had to read the No
- 13:32Speaker 3: Fear Joke Here originally because it's such a dense, interesting,
- 13:36Speaker 3: introspective text. There's so much behind it that when you
- 13:40Speaker 3: read it, you go, this is this is average, this
- 13:43Speaker 3: is boring, there's nothing dense, and then No Fear Joke
- 13:46Speaker 3: Here kind of sets you in and it hits you right
- 13:48Speaker 3: in the stomach, because.
- 13:50Speaker 5: Yeah, well, well No Fear Joke Here does a really
- 13:53Speaker 5: amazing job because a lot of the things that the
- 13:56Speaker 5: Joker says, you know, you don't really realize it twisted
- 14:00Speaker 5: until someone points it out.
- 14:02Speaker 2: So it was twisted right away. I actually realized it
- 14:06Speaker 2: was twisted. You didn't think it was twisted when you
- 14:08Speaker 2: read it.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Well, the original is mostly for me, was dense because
- 14:12Speaker 3: it was just mostly puns and rhyme schemes, which threw
- 14:16Speaker 3: me off because I couldn't see you got it right
- 14:17Speaker 3: away there.
- 14:18Speaker 5: I couldn't get the scanchon if you got the scansion
- 14:20Speaker 5: early on. I mean, I'm sorry. It's not that I
- 14:23Speaker 5: don't believe you. It's just that I'm very impressed. I'll
- 14:27Speaker 5: say that.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Well, what can I say. I'm a very precocious and
- 14:32Speaker 2: smart boy.
- 14:33Speaker 5: Okay, car, I know all.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Fifty states and all fifty capitals.
- 14:39Speaker 3: That's amazing. Yeah, did that think?
- 14:42Speaker 4: Do you think your joker is a bozo joke? And
- 14:45Speaker 4: feel like you got a lot of hate and love
- 14:48Speaker 4: from both sides? Like where did you belong? You think,
- 14:51Speaker 4: like like to do a Christian joker is to really
- 14:54Speaker 4: be at the center of culture.
- 14:56Speaker 5: It is something that I don't want to say it
- 15:01Speaker 5: angered both sides because I'm more see it that they
- 15:04Speaker 5: just don't understand. You know that they're not there yet.
- 15:07Speaker 5: It's that they're not there yet, and I know that
- 15:10Speaker 5: if I can reach them, if they sit down and
- 15:12Speaker 5: they watch it, they're gonna get it. But no, I
- 15:15Speaker 5: got and to your point, you are, you're correct. I
- 15:18Speaker 5: got a lot of uh, you know, ministries reaching out
- 15:21Speaker 5: saying hey, you're sort of equating the Joker to Jesus
- 15:25Speaker 5: in a way that we don't really believe, and that's
- 15:28Speaker 5: their belief, and that's okay. But then you have the
- 15:31Speaker 5: other people who are saying, who is this, who is this?
- 15:35Speaker 5: Preachy preachy mofoo. Kids were like crazy, They said, that's
- 15:40Speaker 5: not Marvel, because Marvel is their god.
- 15:43Speaker 2: You can cuss ruin me. My mom cusses a lot,
- 15:45Speaker 2: so you can say a motherfucker, you can whoa whoa son.
- 15:49Speaker 5: I'm making a promise right now, as a man who
- 15:51Speaker 5: believes in the Joker, I will not say motherfucker.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Oh shoot, yeah, it's okay.
- 15:56Speaker 5: Oh, I'm so sorry.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Okay, I didn't mean to a nice polite hands it
- 16:00Speaker 3: kind of thank you for shaking my hand.
- 16:02Speaker 5: You're very precocious child.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Of course, we cuss a lot, and my director cusses
- 16:07Speaker 1: a lot, so and I'm allowed to cuss a lot.
- 16:09Speaker 1: And I'm actually allowed to say a lot of cuss
- 16:11Speaker 1: words because my joker cusses. They're making an R rated
- 16:14Speaker 1: cbsitcom It might be going to all access depending on
- 16:17Speaker 1: how it looks in the end.
- 16:18Speaker 4: So as an already multi cam I've never seen the
- 16:24Speaker 4: likes sound so.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Sick and twisted and I love them.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Well, he's such an interesting little guy.
- 16:29Speaker 3: What did you look? What was it about it that
- 16:31Speaker 3: drew you in? I mean, this is kind of a
- 16:32Speaker 3: question for everybody, but I'll start with you. What was
- 16:35Speaker 3: your way into this character? And what have you learned?
- 16:38Speaker 2: Well, So there's a scene where his parents are both
- 16:41Speaker 2: working late and he has a big science project do
- 16:45Speaker 2: the next day, and his sister is being a total
- 16:48Speaker 2: brat and so he shoots her in the top of
- 16:51Speaker 2: the head and then he cuts her open and dissects
- 16:54Speaker 2: her like a frog and pins her.
- 16:55Speaker 4: In different playing Batman in yours right.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Yes, and cat Danny is playing Batman.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So right now, it's just a veo and it's kind
- 17:04Speaker 1: of Wonder Year style where Catennings is going.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I remember when the Joker was a teenager.
- 17:12Speaker 3: It's a little a little how I met your mother?
- 17:15Speaker 3: Just a little bit.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Yeah, they're saying it's above I say, that's a little confusing,
- 17:18Speaker 1: and they say, you'll get it when you're older.
- 17:20Speaker 2: So I guess my question is, so you guys get
- 17:22Speaker 2: it because you're older.
- 17:24Speaker 4: I get it.
- 17:25Speaker 5: I get it. I get I get it.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I mean I get it. If you if that's a
- 17:30Speaker 3: question about getting your show specifically. No, I've missed them.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Arek completely?
- 17:35Speaker 2: I was talking about Joker.
- 17:38Speaker 3: I get it.
- 17:38Speaker 5: I'm sorry. I had my doubts at first when you
- 17:42Speaker 5: originally said it, but ultimately when you look at the
- 17:45Speaker 5: text and when you go back to the text, a
- 17:48Speaker 5: multiicam is the perfect medium for the Joker because everyone's
- 17:52Speaker 5: laughing at him at.
- 17:59Speaker 1: So right now are ought to laugh for a show
- 18:01Speaker 1: is way off. We're getting a lot of oz and
- 18:03Speaker 1: we're not getting me.
- 18:04Speaker 5: Oh, that's always tough.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I'm being told it's my fault, and so I'm working
- 18:10Speaker 1: on it.
- 18:10Speaker 2: I'm going to change it. I'm going to fix it.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I'm going to turn this ship around.
- 18:14Speaker 1: If Judy could do it for Wizard of Oz, if
- 18:17Speaker 1: Shirley could do it for good Ship Lollipop, I can
- 18:20Speaker 1: do it for a Joker the multicamp.
- 18:21Speaker 4: Boy, you read that cue card perfectly.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I was even looking at it sometimes.
- 18:25Speaker 4: I have a question. Go ahead, what do you think
- 18:27Speaker 4: brings question?
- 18:29Speaker 3: You go ahead?
- 18:31Speaker 4: Sorry, but what do you think of Gurley? What? What
- 18:35Speaker 4: do you think brings all chokers together? Do you think
- 18:37Speaker 4: it's mental health? Do you think it's a smile. What's
- 18:42Speaker 4: the main thing what do you think all four of
- 18:44Speaker 4: ours having commons?
- 18:45Speaker 5: Well, that's fine in the middle of the fine diagram,
- 18:49Speaker 5: Well whose joker?
- 18:51Speaker 4: Whose joker is.
- 18:53Speaker 3: A Oh, that's good.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Let's put a finger down. We played this sometimes in
- 18:57Speaker 2: my charter school.
- 18:58Speaker 4: We play this and for the listener will say when
- 19:00Speaker 4: we put a finger down.
- 19:02Speaker 5: Yes, okay, okay, so put a finger down. If your
- 19:06Speaker 5: joker is having trouble finding.
- 19:09Speaker 2: A girlfriend, I'm putting a finger down.
- 19:11Speaker 5: I'm putting a finger down boyfriend.
- 19:13Speaker 3: But yeah, yeah, I'm putting a finger down. Okay, but
- 19:16Speaker 3: he's moved past it. Okay, but he knows he'll never
- 19:19Speaker 3: get that.
- 19:19Speaker 4: It's so hard to find a boyfriend at the mall.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Funnily enough, it was the same thing for my joker.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Funnily enough, same thing for my joker.
- 19:27Speaker 3: It was very hard to find a boyfriend at the mall.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Put a finger down. If your jokers having trouble, trouble
- 19:34Speaker 2: at them all.
- 19:34Speaker 5: Okay, so I'm seeing make your r a.
- 19:37Speaker 1: W Yeah, I've been told that I have to get kyto,
- 19:42Speaker 1: so I'm going to be Kuto now.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Immediately.
- 19:48Speaker 2: No, I'm just being myself.
- 19:50Speaker 4: Now, I get my cast Okay, I get it. Put
- 19:53Speaker 4: a finger down. If you're a Joker has a fucked
- 19:55Speaker 4: up relationship with his parents.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Oh, okay, okay. Up is the easiest way to say that,
- 20:04Speaker 3: And I'd.
- 20:04Speaker 5: Say, let's fucked up a little more misunderstood.
- 20:08Speaker 2: And I would say, fucking the ass.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Whoa, whoa.
- 20:12Speaker 5: We are wildly pivoting between strategies. Your mom is writing
- 20:16Speaker 5: que cards. I'm sorry, don't make any dang.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Saints fucked in the whoa?
- 20:21Speaker 3: Okay, a little better, don't use them.
- 20:28Speaker 5: It's contagious. It's getting contagious. You gotta stop doing that
- 20:32Speaker 5: in my ero. So I'll go, I'm go and do
- 20:34Speaker 5: it too.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Okay, put a finger down. If your Joker made you
- 20:38Speaker 3: look at the world in a.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Different light, every single one of if we're playing, if
- 20:46Speaker 4: we're playing true to the character, I believe there should
- 20:49Speaker 4: be no Joker.
- 20:51Speaker 3: That.
- 20:51Speaker 4: Here's the thing, tell me if I'm wrong. Ready, I believe,
- 20:55Speaker 4: no matter what your adaptation is, no matter what the
- 20:58Speaker 4: budget is, no matter if it's short, filmed, a multi camera,
- 21:01Speaker 4: whatever it is, I believe no Joker should feel like
- 21:04Speaker 4: they belong to be the Joker. Yeah, it's to feel
- 21:07Speaker 4: like an outsider exactly.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Joy in that. So tr find the giggles and define
- 21:15Speaker 3: the ultimate laugh.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Well, because you realize that you're scared and all of
- 21:21Speaker 1: a sudden, like you have to do it a different thing, right, like,
- 21:24Speaker 1: all of a sudden, like all the things that make
- 21:26Speaker 1: other people scaled other things that make me happy, and
- 21:29Speaker 1: that's scary.
- 21:30Speaker 4: How does that manifest them the sitcom.
- 21:33Speaker 2: On the sitcom?
- 21:33Speaker 1: Yeah, the main way that it manifests is I am
- 21:38Speaker 1: in the class sometimes and then in class people I
- 21:42Speaker 1: get an F on a paper and I go, yay,
- 21:45Speaker 1: I got a F.
- 21:46Speaker 2: But actually is weird because F is bad?
- 21:49Speaker 5: Oh that's twisted.
- 21:51Speaker 3: A joker thinking in F is good is very joker.
- 21:54Speaker 3: So I will watch this because it sounds like they're
- 21:56Speaker 3: right on the money.
- 21:58Speaker 2: You gotta check it out. We're having a black and
- 22:00Speaker 2: we could use three more viewers.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Put a finger down, all sudden, I guess for me,
- 22:06Speaker 3: put a finger down. If every night, before you go
- 22:10Speaker 3: to bed, you have an inkling of a.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Thought, that's it. I thought, I think before bed.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Yeah, an inkling of a creepy thought. Oh creepy, it
- 22:25Speaker 3: was creepy. Something so freaked up.
- 22:28Speaker 2: And this is just beyond your own joke and this
- 22:29Speaker 2: is the real acting.
- 22:30Speaker 3: It's something that the Joker did to me that I
- 22:34Speaker 3: don't know if I'm ready to talk about.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Please dish. When are you ever going to get this
- 22:38Speaker 2: opportunity again?
- 22:39Speaker 3: You're so right? How old are you? Twelve?
- 22:41Speaker 4: You'res so even? Where'd you get that bottle? All of
- 22:44Speaker 4: a sudden the bottle? You're just okay?
- 22:47Speaker 5: I see this, I see child actors do this. You're
- 22:50Speaker 5: trying to play every single age at once so.
- 22:53Speaker 3: That you can right now.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Can't shoot twelve for two, You just can't.
- 22:58Speaker 4: You're doing well. Women in there they try to do
- 23:01Speaker 4: all the twenties and.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Uppies.
- 23:05Speaker 5: I can't give you Uppy's son. I cannot give you
- 23:08Speaker 5: Uppy's son. That's the lesson you're gonna have to learn.
- 23:12Speaker 5: You are too old for uppies. You're gonna have to
- 23:14Speaker 5: uppease yourself. And that's something the Joker can teach you.
- 23:17Speaker 5: If you look inward, if you thank him, if you
- 23:20Speaker 5: say thank you, Joker, thank you for this beautiful morning,
- 23:23Speaker 5: thank you for this gorgeous sunset, and thank you for
- 23:26Speaker 5: bringing us together under his glorious lit.
- 23:30Speaker 3: So he really is Jesus Christ, and I want.
- 23:34Speaker 5: To specify his Jesus Christ. And he is not Jesus Christ.
- 23:37Speaker 3: That would be sacrilege. So I've got a question that
- 23:40Speaker 3: this actually brings me to a really interesting thing because
- 23:42Speaker 3: you sound like you're worshiping a man that is opposite you,
- 23:47Speaker 3: a man that is apart from you. Did you feel
- 23:49Speaker 3: like you were the joker or you were playing the joke?
- 23:53Speaker 5: That's the thing. It's sort of a like a father son,
- 23:57Speaker 5: holy spirit type thing. Oh, everything is in all of it.
- 24:01Speaker 5: So in a way, I don't want to claim. I'm
- 24:04Speaker 5: not going to claim that I'm a deity. Right, You're
- 24:07Speaker 5: not going to catch me claiming that I am a deity.
- 24:09Speaker 5: But I've had the pleasure of playing the deity and
- 24:13Speaker 5: having his message and his love course through my veins
- 24:18Speaker 5: as I go, you know, But I do worship him
- 24:21Speaker 5: as an entity, and I'm so grateful for when he
- 24:25Speaker 5: passes through me.
- 24:26Speaker 3: That is beautiful, so different from mine. Yeah, I know,
- 24:31Speaker 3: ursis so beautiful, so beautiful.
- 24:35Speaker 5: Thank you. I can see. I can see it's bringing
- 24:38Speaker 5: out something twisted for you. And follow that, follow that
- 24:42Speaker 5: his twisted grace will bring you truth. His twisted grace
- 24:45Speaker 5: will bring you truth.
- 24:46Speaker 4: If I think the fact that you don't want to means.
- 24:49Speaker 2: You have to Can we speak to your joker.
- 24:58Speaker 4: A it's bringing something.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Up to me. Hold on, hold on, I'm feeling his
- 25:09Speaker 5: love and I'm feeling his life.
- 25:18Speaker 2: It's happening. I can't help it.
- 25:26Speaker 4: That's so funny, that's so funny. Leave the boy out.
- 25:32Speaker 6: Leave the boy alone, mommy, or you'll wake up in
- 25:34Speaker 6: the grave, mammy.
- 25:35Speaker 4: So, if you got this far in the video, it
- 25:40Speaker 4: seems like the joker mud has been activated.
- 25:43Speaker 5: It seems we've got a lot of jokers in the crowd.
- 25:46Speaker 5: If you've made it this far without getting fuck job.
- 25:51Speaker 6: Thank god, these skin masks let us come out to play.
- 25:55Speaker 4: Time stamp this part in the video and the comments
- 25:58Speaker 4: because the joker has been let out of the cave.
- 26:02Speaker 8: Your friends good time stamped the videos so they know
- 26:05Speaker 8: when to prepare themselves for the sick and toisted.
- 26:12Speaker 2: The joker put it on a T shirt. The joker
- 26:15Speaker 2: inters at.
- 26:15Speaker 6: This exact moment, Baby, you can even joker comment jokes
- 26:22Speaker 6: come out something like oh caps, hot space, hot space,
- 26:26Speaker 6: hot space.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Hog.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I hope you don't.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Choke, because now you've entered the joke's at.
- 26:36Speaker 4: This interview, it's gonna be normal. But no, we have
- 26:43Speaker 4: English the joke. Girl buys watch the funniest joke.
- 26:48Speaker 3: You've why I have a joke? Oh, they tell joke it.
- 26:57Speaker 3: You have a joke, Joe old, your own is gone? Yes,
- 27:05Speaker 3: another one taking over his body.
- 27:08Speaker 8: Yes, the joke car is here, and the joke carries
- 27:12Speaker 8: in all of us. What do you get when you
- 27:15Speaker 8: cross a chicken and a MOUs.
- 27:21Speaker 5: What? Oh?
- 27:24Speaker 4: One busy tour'sday.
- 27:28Speaker 9: That's my best joke.
- 27:34Speaker 4: What did the chickens say when he crossed? L where's
- 27:41Speaker 4: my babe?
- 27:53Speaker 5: Oh?
- 27:53Speaker 2: Wow, wha?
- 27:55Speaker 3: What was that?
- 27:56Speaker 5: That was incredible?
- 27:57Speaker 3: Oh it looks like time has passed, but I don't
- 27:59Speaker 3: remember any time. I'm passed.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Oh no, yes, yes I'm back.
- 28:03Speaker 6: I'm the boy. Yes, I'm the boy.
- 28:06Speaker 3: I'm the boy again.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Something very interesting? What happened to me? I'm the boy again?
- 28:12Speaker 5: Son?
- 28:13Speaker 3: Son?
- 28:13Speaker 5: You feel different?
- 28:14Speaker 2: I'm not different. I'm not different different.
- 28:17Speaker 3: You don't say it.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Don't tell anyone in the comments that I'm still the joker.
- 28:24Speaker 3: What did you just say? What are you talking about?
- 28:26Speaker 5: Did you just say?
- 28:28Speaker 2: I said nothing?
- 28:29Speaker 4: Sometimes it takes for the younger soul.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Mommy, I like an apple juice. I'm a boy. I
- 28:35Speaker 2: like an apple juice. I'm a little boy. Mommy, mommy
- 28:38Speaker 2: to give me an apple juice.
- 28:39Speaker 9: Mommy, bitch, get me a juice.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Okay, doesn't feel twelve at all.
- 28:45Speaker 5: Hush up, done, Hush up, push up, push up. I
- 28:49Speaker 5: think you need to learn where to leave your joker.
- 28:52Speaker 5: It takes a lot.
- 28:54Speaker 3: I'm not. I have a question for you. We all
- 28:56Speaker 3: just jokers? Were we all just jokers for a second?
- 29:00Speaker 3: Were we all just jokers for a second?
- 29:03Speaker 2: We are you all jokers? Was I a joker?
- 29:07Speaker 3: Yeah? Okay, so we were in a situation where the
- 29:10Speaker 3: smile that he stayed a joker, and we need to
- 29:14Speaker 3: get him out of this joker.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I'm I'm a little boy.
- 29:17Speaker 3: You're definitely a little bit joker.
- 29:19Speaker 2: I played jacks with my friend.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Okay, that's that corn. So he's a nineteen fifties joker,
- 29:28Speaker 3: which is very interesting.
- 29:29Speaker 5: That's you know, the first few times that I played
- 29:33Speaker 5: this role, it was nineteen fifties. I think that happens
- 29:37Speaker 5: a lot when you first start.
- 29:39Speaker 4: Out and tell you, yeah, when when you first started talking,
- 29:42Speaker 4: I was like, this kid is so vanilla. I don't
- 29:44Speaker 4: I can't see the joker in him. And now I
- 29:46Speaker 4: can't see the kid, and.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Now I think what's happening. The kid is so impressionable.
- 29:51Speaker 3: It is like a demonic thing where the power of
- 29:53Speaker 3: the joker has overtaken the kid.
- 29:55Speaker 9: I'm a normal boy. I like to go and play
- 29:59Speaker 9: Washers with my friends. I love my favorite show, Ousie
- 30:03Speaker 9: and Harriet.
- 30:05Speaker 6: I'm a boy.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Don't you understand.
- 30:08Speaker 5: Okay, we're gonna have to save you. Because the thing
- 30:10Speaker 5: about the Jokers, if you stay in it for too long,
- 30:12Speaker 5: you get laughlines that'll turn into wrinkles.
- 30:15Speaker 3: It'll destroy your career.
- 30:16Speaker 4: It'll destroy your career, makeup department, the laugh lines or else.
- 30:20Speaker 4: You can't do a state farm commercial every once in
- 30:22Speaker 4: a while.
- 30:24Speaker 3: Kid, you're twelve, you'll be doing state farm commercials.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Let me tell you here's a question for you.
- 30:32Speaker 10: What makes you think if I were to be a joker,
- 30:36Speaker 10: what makes you think the joker inside of you will
- 30:39Speaker 10: let you get rid of the joker inside of me?
- 30:45Speaker 5: Oh okay, well that's that's an interesting philosophical question there. Son.
- 30:52Speaker 2: As a young joker, I have energies, I have secrets,
- 30:54Speaker 2: and I have abilities. I know exactly how to retrieve
- 30:57Speaker 2: every single joker in this room, and if I want to,
- 31:01Speaker 2: I could take over this entire podcast.
- 31:04Speaker 5: I trained with Stanislavsky. I trained with multiple joker teachers
- 31:08Speaker 5: at Joel, what did you say?
- 31:13Speaker 4: Didn't you trained with Stanislovski and Joel Ostein?
- 31:16Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah and Joel Joel, Joe Lostein, Joe Lostein
- 31:21Speaker 5: and Joel Lostein.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Did I play a prank?
- 31:26Speaker 3: Got another joke?
- 31:27Speaker 2: She is welcome?
- 31:29Speaker 4: Mess with the way you perceived your reality. Welcome, darling, Welcome.
- 31:34Speaker 2: You haven't missed anything.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I've been here though.
- 31:37Speaker 2: They don't suspect a thing. They think I'm silly boy.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Definitely the joke.
- 31:42Speaker 4: Definitely a dumb bitch.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Well you're joker. You've only presented as being a dumb bitch,
- 31:48Speaker 3: so there's no difference, all right. So we gotta figure
- 31:58Speaker 3: out how to solve these two.
- 31:59Speaker 5: We gotta figure out how to get these jokers back.
- 32:02Speaker 4: There's a flat the mystery.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Between me and you. Which one of these looks better
- 32:09Speaker 2: on the inside, you think?
- 32:11Speaker 4: And then which one looks better?
- 32:14Speaker 3: What does that mean? What part of the joker is?
- 32:19Speaker 3: What is then? Give it like a jack in the box.
- 32:24Speaker 3: When you look at the.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Box, it's just a bunch of squares. But when you
- 32:28Speaker 2: open the box. There's something different than there.
- 32:32Speaker 5: No, you won't get me. My jokers love my jokers
- 32:35Speaker 5: lot and I've put him in a way for a moment,
- 32:37Speaker 5: so you will not get there.
- 32:39Speaker 3: You will not get me easy, You will not get
- 32:41Speaker 3: my joke. Extremely strong actor, and nothing will break my
- 32:44Speaker 3: indominable spirit.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Would kick a.
- 33:02Speaker 6: Welcome back brothers, Welcome back, brother welcome back.
- 33:07Speaker 4: It's time to play. It's time to do our tight
- 33:11Speaker 4: five because we're just in the rack.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Can I talk to both of you for a quick second.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Your alter ego's quite the pills.
- 33:20Speaker 2: They're really annoying.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Get me started on that.
- 33:23Speaker 2: What's up with them? Can you get them under control?
- 33:26Speaker 8: Towistad They are not twisted enough. To me, not being
- 33:33Speaker 8: twisted is twisted, which is why I said.
- 33:37Speaker 5: It that way.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Do you feel a draft because maybe it's a laugh
- 33:46Speaker 3: the joker?
- 33:47Speaker 4: What's a brown upside down?
- 33:50Speaker 6: A smile.
- 33:56Speaker 8: In the weather forecast today? Boo, it's sunny. That to
- 34:02Speaker 8: me is sad because I am the joker.
- 34:06Speaker 4: As the engineers of artists on urist on Artists, I'm
- 34:09Speaker 4: glad we took a minute to walk away. I think
- 34:10Speaker 4: they're doing a great interview in there. Yeah, I think
- 34:14Speaker 4: they're I.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Think they're Yeah, the engineers are.
- 34:17Speaker 4: The engineers the podcast. We took a walk away and
- 34:20Speaker 4: I think everything's going well.
- 34:21Speaker 5: And there.
- 34:22Speaker 4: I think we could I think we could leave.
- 34:24Speaker 3: I think it's good. Let's go to BJ's. Let's go
- 34:28Speaker 3: to BJ town. They just got laid off.
- 34:31Speaker 2: What this fucking company fucking sucks?
- 34:34Speaker 3: Nice?
- 34:35Speaker 5: Okay, can we talk about it for a second, because
- 34:37Speaker 5: the pay structure is insane.
- 34:38Speaker 4: Of what of this podcast?
- 34:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it is. It's crazy how little they pay people
- 34:45Speaker 3: for how much money they're making, because they're making millions
- 34:49Speaker 3: and millions.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Of dollars dollars a month, a month.
- 34:52Speaker 4: And I'll tell you this, it's a real stand and
- 34:54Speaker 4: walk away operation where we set up the cameras, we
- 34:57Speaker 4: set up the mics, and we walk away and we
- 34:59Speaker 4: let these artists.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Don't you.
- 35:06Speaker 6: We're playing with your brain.
- 35:07Speaker 2: We're playing with your head. We're making you think things
- 35:09Speaker 2: that are about things that they are not.
- 35:13Speaker 10: And you thought it would rhyme.
- 35:14Speaker 5: You thought it would rhyme, but it doesn't.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Nothing's more fucked up than under paying hard podcast workers.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Is a question for all three of you. Yeah, Chuck,
- 35:25Speaker 2: Mary Kill, Batman, Superman, Aquaman.
- 35:29Speaker 4: May I yes, he asked you the question.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Thank you for asking.
- 35:34Speaker 11: May I kill kill and kill?
- 35:39Speaker 5: Yes?
- 35:39Speaker 2: Correct?
- 35:40Speaker 4: Okay, suck Mary kill stan Lee, Okay.
- 35:46Speaker 3: Keep going.
- 35:48Speaker 4: Stanley, stan Lee and spider Man.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Spider Man. I don't know who that is because I
- 35:55Speaker 3: am the Joker.
- 35:57Speaker 8: I live in the DC universe and Spider Man lives elsewhere.
- 36:02Speaker 4: I think.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Hey, guys, this is Jeremy. I just want to say, like,
- 36:07Speaker 3: the next part of this episode gets really weird and
- 36:10Speaker 3: really crazy. So if you want to stop now, comment
- 36:13Speaker 3: in the comments right now. I stop now because I
- 36:16Speaker 3: don't want you to have to see what happens after this.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Hey, guys, this is Patrick. This is like really breaks
- 36:22Speaker 2: my heart.
- 36:23Speaker 1: But we were posting this after because we realized what
- 36:27Speaker 1: comes next it's just going to turn a lot of
- 36:29Speaker 1: people off, and so we added this back in. But
- 36:33Speaker 1: Jeremy's right, like this kind of isn't for everyone, and
- 36:35Speaker 1: if you stick.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Around, like we can't legally be responsible.
- 36:39Speaker 3: For your thoughts on it.
- 36:41Speaker 5: Hey, this is Kylie. I took some time away from
- 36:45Speaker 5: the podcast for a little bit, and I just want
- 36:47Speaker 5: to let you guys know that after you hear what
- 36:49Speaker 5: you're about to hear, we decided to take an indefinite pause,
- 36:54Speaker 5: and we're just sort of reevaluating where we're all at
- 36:57Speaker 5: and what we value and to see if those value
- 37:00Speaker 5: still aligned.
- 37:00Speaker 4: So, hey, guys, it's Angela.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:04Speaker 4: I think like if we could just timestamp this, if
- 37:06Speaker 4: other people in the commons could time stamp this moment,
- 37:09Speaker 4: because specifically this one and Jeremy's and Patrick's and Kyles,
- 37:12Speaker 4: because the thing is what happened here is we have
- 37:15Speaker 4: a lot of unhinged episodes versus like hinged episodes, and
- 37:18Speaker 4: this one, this one is.
- 37:22Speaker 11: On the die was sad eligible actor? You thought I
- 37:37Speaker 11: was only books commercials?
- 37:39Speaker 3: Jeremy, Golly, didn't you you die? Lad?
- 37:46Speaker 4: And Lad are Tina who makes her money eating don't
- 37:50Speaker 4: really toes on YouTube?
- 37:53Speaker 2: And guess.
- 37:55Speaker 6: You I he was the person who used to be
- 37:59Speaker 6: in at and now lives in their own bosses back yard,
- 38:04Speaker 6: a little house.
- 38:05Speaker 3: You might have even skipped ahead in the video to
- 38:08Speaker 3: see what was so fucked up?
- 38:09Speaker 11: Well here it is there It is poopy.
- 38:16Speaker 2: Why you think that's fucked up? This poopy on an armpit?
- 38:26Speaker 4: That so funny? That is so funny?
- 38:29Speaker 2: What about this?
- 38:29Speaker 4: What about this? What about this poopy on a dead body.
- 38:33Speaker 3: Let me let me, let me say what about this?
- 38:35Speaker 2: What about this?
- 38:36Speaker 5: What about this?
- 38:37Speaker 4: Grilled cheese?
- 38:39Speaker 11: Just kidding poopy on pisso boop.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I take it in. I bet you'll never sleep
- 38:51Speaker 3: at night again after this.
- 38:53Speaker 2: And by the way, here's the joker inside of you.
- 38:57Speaker 3: And we could bring him out if we wanted.
- 39:00Speaker 5: And in fact we're about to. If you look into
- 39:03Speaker 5: the lens.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Yes, look at the lens whenever you're watching. Don't watch
- 39:10Speaker 3: the video anymore. Find the lens and look into it.
- 39:13Speaker 5: We find a leg find a lens.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Jokes have an audience.
- 39:17Speaker 3: This is the way into the joker. Repeat these three
- 39:21Speaker 3: chants and you will unlock it and times damp this
- 39:26Speaker 3: moment to come back to it. Hey, guys, just jumping in.
- 39:29Speaker 3: I know this episode is crazy, but actually this is
- 39:31Speaker 3: our first commercial we get We got sponsored by Hello Fresh.
- 39:35Speaker 3: We're so excited. Uh so we get fifteen percent off
- 39:38Speaker 3: on HelloFresh if you type in artists on artists on
- 39:41Speaker 3: artists on artists on Hello Fresh. We're super excited, So
- 39:44Speaker 3: go use the website right now.
- 39:45Speaker 5: And this is our first ad ever. We've had some
- 39:48Speaker 5: trouble selling ads because people don't know what this is.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Yes, we mentioned celebrities. It's really hard.
- 39:52Speaker 4: It's really harder like our title is like kind of
- 39:55Speaker 4: hard to understand.
- 39:56Speaker 5: Yeah, but even in positive reviews, like the Guardian actually
- 39:59Speaker 5: reviewed us and gave us a positive recommendation and they
- 40:01Speaker 5: called us, I would say, niche and alienating was the
- 40:04Speaker 5: main sort of vibe that they said that we were.
- 40:06Speaker 1: So we do want to shout out HelloFresh because they
- 40:08Speaker 1: really like us. And we actually got a bunch of
- 40:10Speaker 1: meals and they were so good. I got this, I
- 40:13Speaker 1: made this spicy shrimp arabiata pasta.
- 40:16Speaker 3: He had us over. It was so good. It was
- 40:18Speaker 3: so good.
- 40:18Speaker 1: It's so easy and they're easy to make and they're
- 40:20Speaker 1: really fun and it just like I know now how
- 40:23Speaker 1: to spice up the way I cook, and HelloFresh brings
- 40:26Speaker 1: me interesting things, so ingredients.
- 40:28Speaker 4: I never actually recently switched to a vegetarian lifestyle and
- 40:31Speaker 4: HelloFresh like completely accommodated that as well. I made a
- 40:35Speaker 4: ratitui and it was just with squash and it was incredible.
- 40:39Speaker 5: And if you think you're not good, it cooked like
- 40:41Speaker 5: I'm these guys.
- 40:42Speaker 3: Know, I can't cook.
- 40:44Speaker 5: It's so funny and I cannot like put me in
- 40:46Speaker 5: front of a pan and I'll say, what is this?
- 40:48Speaker 10: You know?
- 40:48Speaker 5: And so but Helofresh made it super easy. It's super awesome.
- 40:51Speaker 3: So yeah, they're kind of stumbling through this commercial, so
- 40:54Speaker 3: sorry about that, but we just wanted to give it
- 40:55Speaker 3: a shout out to HelloFresh. Thank you so much for
- 40:58Speaker 3: sponsoring us. And if you are wanting to use Hello Fresh,
- 41:01Speaker 3: make sure to use the code. Artists on Artists on
- 41:03Speaker 3: Artists on.
- 41:04Speaker 11: Joker thought except one would sponsor. Nobody would ever sponsor
- 41:16Speaker 11: a podcast like this.
- 41:19Speaker 5: A shrimper.
- 41:22Speaker 4: You think I am a be Terrian and I have
- 41:27Speaker 4: sworn off Sammy.
- 41:29Speaker 3: So look into your camera.
- 41:33Speaker 6: I'm sorry you camera looking to your lens.
- 41:37Speaker 3: Three things number one, Number one, the funniest joke is
- 41:43Speaker 3: the one you can play on the world.
- 41:50Speaker 9: Number two Knock knock, who's there? It's the joker.
- 42:00Speaker 5: Three up is down and down is up.
- 42:04Speaker 8: A smile is a frown and a frown is a joker,
- 42:11Speaker 8: and yes there's.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Kidding.
- 42:20Speaker 3: Three trick you. So, if you're a joker now comments
- 42:28Speaker 3: became the show, tell me exactly.
- 42:31Speaker 5: In the comments when you became the joker.
- 42:36Speaker 4: In the comments, I went to see when you thought
- 42:38Speaker 4: time stamping became unnecessary because we asked for so many stuff.
- 42:45Speaker 5: So I just wanted to check in with you guys
- 42:48Speaker 5: because we're starting off this new podcast network and we
- 42:52Speaker 5: have a few podcasts we could consider to put on
- 42:55Speaker 5: our new network. We've got some VC funding, and I
- 43:00Speaker 5: I saw these artists on artists guys, but I'm a
- 43:02Speaker 5: little I gotta say, concerned by the Joker episode. I
- 43:04Speaker 5: don't know if you guys felt this way.
- 43:06Speaker 4: Like they put in two years of hard work on
- 43:10Speaker 4: really good, focused episode and I listen to all of
- 43:13Speaker 4: them because I know our VC it never meta.
- 43:16Speaker 5: They never went meta, and I really appreciate that about it.
- 43:20Speaker 1: It's cool because I'm also like, if I don't know
- 43:22Speaker 1: who the fuck you are, why don't I care if
- 43:23Speaker 1: you go meta?
- 43:24Speaker 3: Exactly, I don't care about you.
- 43:26Speaker 5: And you guys aren't famous enough to go mad like.
- 43:29Speaker 3: All the time.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Stamp SmartLess easy, I won't do that.
- 43:32Speaker 3: They're likedos, can we be honest? I mean, this is
- 43:35Speaker 3: my thing with artists on ours. I love them so much,
- 43:37Speaker 3: but the laughing.
- 43:39Speaker 5: They really it's like, are we doing improvor are we
- 43:42Speaker 5: just sort of like.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yeah, just hanging out, you know, and It's also like,
- 43:45Speaker 1: if they're hanging out, why do I have to watch it?
- 43:48Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 43:48Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 43:49Speaker 4: But I will say all the other episodes excluid it
- 43:52Speaker 4: are absolutely and Joe, can.
- 43:55Speaker 5: We agree that? Our answer is.
- 44:00Speaker 3: Can you agree that our answers we were lying?
- 44:04Speaker 4: Could you believe that the Joker episode is the one
- 44:07Speaker 4: that he's the most fucked up? And that's how you
- 44:10Speaker 4: lot because we've done a lot of funked up.
- 44:13Speaker 9: We are the Jokers and we are holding this podcast hostage.
- 44:18Speaker 3: This has been artist on artists on, artists on artists
- 44:20Speaker 3: answer the question. Now, that's why we call it.
- 44:27Speaker 11: This episode will never end until our demands are men.
- 44:30Speaker 4: We are driving and listening to this episode. Pull over now,
- 44:33Speaker 4: I could see you. I could see you look at
- 44:35Speaker 4: your way for your mirror. I could see you, bitch.
- 44:37Speaker 3: Here's our demands.
- 44:39Speaker 9: Number one, Patrick McDonald must come out as gay because
- 44:42Speaker 9: bisexuality doesn't exists.
- 44:48Speaker 2: And that's number one.
- 44:53Speaker 3: This is the b He must do.
- 44:55Speaker 5: That, he must, he must do that.
- 45:00Speaker 3: He was thinking that we'd all take a person of
- 45:02Speaker 3: the mass. He is confusing.
- 45:05Speaker 11: Is it bye or is it why Jokers?
- 45:12Speaker 3: It's my lord? Is it's we love all of it,
- 45:15Speaker 3: but just for him make a choice, may goddamn choice?
- 45:21Speaker 5: Why so bisexual?
- 45:24Speaker 4: Why so bye?
- 45:25Speaker 3: He said, Joe, God, what happened? What happened?
- 45:35Speaker 5: Oh? Oh lord, what happened?
- 45:40Speaker 3: That says that we've been going, Oh my god? What
- 45:42Speaker 3: thirty minutes?
- 45:43Speaker 5: There was crazy fifty six minutes.
- 45:46Speaker 2: When did my mom go to sleep?
- 45:48Speaker 3: She went to sleep.
- 45:49Speaker 4: Well, I'm not going to sleep on the que car.
- 45:51Speaker 5: The lights are out.
- 45:53Speaker 3: How long has it been?
- 45:54Speaker 2: I don't feel very good.
- 45:56Speaker 4: This honestly happens to me sometimes when I talk too
- 45:58Speaker 4: much about the character, it.
- 46:00Speaker 3: Just jumps back in when you least expect. It always happened,
- 46:03Speaker 3: just like I.
- 46:04Speaker 4: Find myself like in a ditch somewhere.
- 46:07Speaker 5: I'm so sorry.
- 46:08Speaker 4: It's been genuinely so nice to meet all of it.
- 46:11Speaker 5: It's been so good to meet.
- 46:12Speaker 3: I'll wok up to.
- 46:13Speaker 2: All of you guys, and I hope to grow up
- 46:14Speaker 2: to be one of them.
- 46:15Speaker 3: You're such a talented kid. You're such a talent so much.
- 46:19Speaker 2: It's hard to be a child. Story get a little confused,
- 46:22Speaker 2: and I lose time.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Well something it's being a child start is confusing and
- 46:28Speaker 4: probably and it's.
- 46:30Speaker 3: The problem with time. Never goes away. I mean, look
- 46:32Speaker 3: at me. I'm thirty six and every day I wake
- 46:35Speaker 3: up and go, what the heck is going on? You know,
- 46:38Speaker 3: I was replaced in my movie. You know, at least
- 46:40Speaker 3: you have the ability to play, you have an audience.
- 46:43Speaker 4: I went straight to DVD.
- 46:45Speaker 5: You have your whole laugh ahead of your son, as
- 46:47Speaker 5: long as you remember the lot that's within you and
- 46:49Speaker 5: the lot that's within the Joker, because they're the same lot.
- 46:52Speaker 5: They're connected, So just follow that.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Okay, thanks so much, guys.
- 46:57Speaker 4: Yeah, if we could do anything today, it's that to
- 47:00Speaker 4: give you a light at the.
- 47:01Speaker 3: End of the tunnel, because what is the Joker if
- 47:03Speaker 3: not a light at the end of the tunnel? For me,
- 47:05Speaker 3: that character was hope. He is a bacon continue on
- 47:09Speaker 3: because the only way to survive this life is to
- 47:12Speaker 3: find the comedy in it and to find the joy.
- 47:15Speaker 4: And why do we keep playing it? Why do we
- 47:17Speaker 4: keep doing this character?
- 47:19Speaker 3: Why does the world want to keep playing exactly?
- 47:22Speaker 5: Why does he keep calling us back? It's because it's ancient.
- 47:26Speaker 5: The Joker is ancient. It's older than all of us.
- 47:29Speaker 5: You know, it's not this new fangled thing. I mean, yeah,
- 47:33Speaker 5: the comic books, but that was just who put it down.
- 47:36Speaker 5: It's always been here, don't you see?
- 47:39Speaker 4: People don't just keep playing Ursula.
- 47:42Speaker 5: There was one Ursula, She's always been here.
- 47:47Speaker 4: There's two.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Hey, can I I'm sorry? I just really was inspired.
- 47:54Speaker 5: Yeah, of course, son, Son?
- 48:00Speaker 4: What what the hell?
- 48:02Speaker 3: What the hell?
- 48:03Speaker 5: What did y'all just hear that?
- 48:07Speaker 3: I saw it?
- 48:09Speaker 1: This is artist and artist and artists answer the question,
- 48:12Speaker 1: and that's why they call it to the Joker.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Good night.
