- 0:01Speaker 1: On a winter evening in Evansville, Indiana, a hardworking firefighter,
- 0:05Speaker 1: husband and father returned home to his wife after yet
- 0:09Speaker 1: another long day. As the fifty one year old walked
- 0:12Speaker 1: up his driveway towards his front door, he was struck
- 0:15Speaker 1: from behind by multiple gunshots. Moments later, his wife came
- 0:20Speaker 1: rushing from the home, calling nine to one one in
- 0:22Speaker 1: a panic. She had been standing just inside making dinner
- 0:26Speaker 1: by the kitchen window, a window only feet from the driveway,
- 0:32Speaker 1: but she claimed not to see anything. She told detectives
- 0:35Speaker 1: at the scene, I didn't intend for any of this
- 0:39Speaker 1: to happen. Hi there, I'm Kevin, and welcome to Just
- 0:47Speaker 1: Thought Lounge. Today's case is a recent one. Although it
- 0:51Speaker 1: is solved, I don't expect that we've seen the last
- 0:53Speaker 1: of it. This is the story of an investigation launched
- 0:57Speaker 1: on suspicions and coincidences. For those pursue justice, in this case,
- 1:01Speaker 1: it was personal and so in the end, there was
- 1:04Speaker 1: no smoking gun, only a puzzle slowly put together piece
- 1:09Speaker 1: by piece. Let's take a look. Evansville is the third
- 1:28Speaker 1: largest city in Indiana. It sits on a picturesque bend
- 1:32Speaker 1: on the Ohio River in the city's sprawling residential neighborhoods,
- 1:36Speaker 1: the pace of life is a bit slower, and the
- 1:39Speaker 1: sense of community is strong. The sun was just beginning
- 1:43Speaker 1: to set on a mild night on Oakley Street. Elizabeth
- 1:47Speaker 1: Door Becky, as she liked to be called, was cooking
- 1:50Speaker 1: pork chops for dinner. Becky's husband, firefighter Robert, was due
- 1:55Speaker 1: home at about seven pm. Robbie was a bit of
- 1:58Speaker 1: a workaholic. Line of work meant that he regularly did
- 2:02Speaker 1: twenty four hour shifts at the station. He had been
- 2:05Speaker 1: responding to emergencies and serving his community since the autumn
- 2:09Speaker 1: of nineteen ninety one. By the winter of twenty nineteen,
- 2:13Speaker 1: he was approaching three decades of fire fighting. That evening,
- 2:18Speaker 1: Robbie had taken a half shift to cover for a colleague.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It was just past seven and Becky listened for the
- 2:24Speaker 1: sound of Robbie's truck pulling into the drive from the
- 2:28Speaker 1: kitchen window. She should have been able to glance out
- 2:30Speaker 1: and see her husband as he emerged from the vehicle
- 2:33Speaker 1: carrying a lunch pail, thermis, and other work gear. Becky
- 2:38Speaker 1: did hear the sounds of the truck's tires driving over
- 2:40Speaker 1: the gravel as Robbie came home. The sound that rang
- 2:44Speaker 1: out next though, was unexpected. It was a popping noise.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Becky said, gunfire, on on on.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I mean, amula, address what's going on on there? Well?
- 3:02Speaker 3: I just got shot.
- 3:04Speaker 4: You think your husband just got shot?
- 3:06Speaker 5: Yes, stay on the line or connected to the ambulance service.
- 3:09Speaker 6: Okay, my.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Wrong, wrong.
- 3:15Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Somebody here, ma'am. I don't know. I thought I saw
- 3:30Speaker 2: his light.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Okay, what kind of what kind of vehicle was it?
- 3:34Speaker 7: Ma'am?
- 3:34Speaker 2: All I saw was my husband's said light pull into
- 3:38Speaker 2: the driveway, and then I heard of it, the popping.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Where was your shot at?
- 3:45Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. It's spark. I see his
- 3:47Speaker 2: foot on the ground. Where is your husband? He's on
- 3:52Speaker 2: our front walk. He's alive, sleepy, U my at fifty
- 4:00Speaker 2: one years old? His name, Oh my god? Please hurry door.
- 4:08Speaker 2: He had everyone while.
- 4:10Speaker 8: About the moon.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Just a few minutes ago. I heard popping and I
- 4:18Speaker 2: went to the front door, and I didn't see anything.
- 4:20Speaker 2: So I went to the side door, came out and
- 4:21Speaker 2: I saw my husband just playing there.
- 4:24Speaker 7: Hurry.
- 4:25Speaker 2: He was a sail fill there.
- 4:28Speaker 9: No, I didn't see anybody. You won't okay, I did
- 4:34Speaker 9: the police are here, No, I don't.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Okay, all right, thank you.
- 4:43Speaker 1: When police and firefighters arrived at the house, they found
- 4:46Speaker 1: Robbie had been shot multiple times and was struggling to breathe.
- 4:51Speaker 1: They also realized that they were fighting to save one
- 4:53Speaker 1: of their own, to many a close friend. Despite the
- 4:58Speaker 1: responder's best efforts, there was nothing that could be done.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Robert Dore passed away in his driveway before his friends
- 5:05Speaker 1: were able to place him in an ambulance. Fifty one
- 5:13Speaker 1: year old Robbie Dorr had followed in his father's footsteps
- 5:16Speaker 1: when he chose a career as a firefighter. Though it
- 5:19Speaker 1: was his passion and his colleagues more like brothers than
- 5:22Speaker 1: co workers, there was a downside to the role. It
- 5:25Speaker 1: did not always pay the bills. For fifteen years, Robbie
- 5:29Speaker 1: had worked a second job at Taco John's, and more recently,
- 5:33Speaker 1: he had donated plasma to further supplement his income. After
- 5:38Speaker 1: their wedding the year prior, Becky had stopped working, which
- 5:41Speaker 1: no doubt added further pressure to the couple's financial situation.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Robbie had one daughter, Lindsay Griffin, who had moved from
- 5:49Speaker 1: home years before. She had two young children, Robbie's grandkids.
- 5:54Speaker 1: The shock of her father's murder was crippling. For Lindsay.
- 5:58Speaker 1: It was also baffling. Her father was known as a
- 6:01Speaker 1: kind hearted and hard working family man. It was inconceivable
- 6:05Speaker 1: that he could have been targeted and to have been
- 6:08Speaker 1: ambushed and then executed in front of his own home.
- 6:12Speaker 3: To see an Evans a firefighter gun down in front
- 6:15Speaker 3: of his own home is something that we weren't really
- 6:18Speaker 3: prepared for. The firefighters that had to respond to that
- 6:22Speaker 3: scene and work on their brother, The police officers that
- 6:24Speaker 3: arrived and quickly realized that it was a firefighter as
- 6:27Speaker 3: just something that we don't see very often.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Nearby residents reported hearing nothing suspicious before or after the
- 6:35Speaker 1: shots were fired. No vehicles or people were seen fleeing
- 6:38Speaker 1: from the scene. Becky had been home alone and had
- 6:41Speaker 1: also reported seeing nothing. Detectives did not recover any spent
- 6:46Speaker 1: shell casings at the scene, and the assailant had clearly
- 6:49Speaker 1: fled the area quickly. For this reason, it was thought
- 6:53Speaker 1: that the weapon could have been a revolver, which would
- 6:56Speaker 1: have retained the spent casings. Robbie was shot in the
- 6:59Speaker 1: shoulder and the head from the back multiple shots were fired,
- 7:03Speaker 1: resulting in several projectiles entering neighboring homes, though no one
- 7:07Speaker 1: else was injured. The mixture of ammunition recovered during the
- 7:15Speaker 1: autopsy was unusual. The buckshot was of a small gauge,
- 7:19Speaker 1: while the pistol ammunition was forty five caliber. Firearms manufacturer
- 7:24Speaker 1: Taurus sells a revolver it called the Judge, which can
- 7:28Speaker 1: fire both types of ammo. For this reason, investigators narrowed
- 7:33Speaker 1: in on the Judge as the potential murder weapon. FBI
- 7:37Speaker 1: Task Force officers assisting the Evansville Police searched across their
- 7:42Speaker 1: sources for the revolver type, and they got a hit.
- 7:46Speaker 1: A tourist Judge had been stolen roughly six months earlier
- 7:50Speaker 1: from the River City pawn Shop. That shop is only
- 7:54Speaker 1: five miles from Oakley Street, less than a fifteen minute
- 7:57Speaker 1: drive from Robbie Dorr's house. It seemed likely that the
- 8:01Speaker 1: gun came from that store, though who had used it
- 8:04Speaker 1: to gun down Robbie Door was a more complicated question.
- 8:12Speaker 1: The day following Robbie's murder, Becky Door turned up at
- 8:15Speaker 1: the fire station. She wanted to inquire about her late
- 8:18Speaker 1: husband's pension, as his widow. She was entitled to seventy
- 8:22Speaker 1: five percent of these funds for life, as well as
- 8:24Speaker 1: a twelve thousand dollars death benefit. Colleagues of Robbie's were
- 8:29Speaker 1: struggling with their own grief the loss of a friend
- 8:32Speaker 1: and in such a violent manner. They also began to
- 8:35Speaker 1: struggle to comprehend how his widow could be seeking her
- 8:38Speaker 1: death benefit payout less than twelve hours after he died.
- 8:46Speaker 1: On the evening of Monday, March fourth, roughly a week
- 8:49Speaker 1: following the murder and immediately after Robbie's funeral service concluded,
- 8:54Speaker 1: Becky Door was asked to accompany Evansville Police and the
- 8:57Speaker 1: FBI to the station to answer a few follow up questions.
- 9:02Speaker 1: On the night of the shooting, she had told detectives
- 9:04Speaker 1: on scene repeatedly and with certainty of her movements that day.
- 9:09Speaker 1: She related to them who she had been in contact
- 9:11Speaker 1: with and at what times. To verify her account, investigators
- 9:16Speaker 1: received the data from Becky's cell phone, as well as
- 9:18Speaker 1: toll records from Sprint, her cell phone provider. Comparing the
- 9:22Speaker 1: calls that the widow said she had made that day
- 9:25Speaker 1: to the Sprint records, police noticed in Evansville area code
- 9:28Speaker 1: phone number had called Becky's device not long before the murder.
- 9:33Speaker 1: The call had lasted just over four minutes. It did
- 9:36Speaker 1: not appear on her cell phone call log, nor had
- 9:39Speaker 1: she reported it to police. The only explanation was that
- 9:43Speaker 1: Becky had deleted the call after disconnecting at six fifty
- 9:47Speaker 1: one pm. Robbie was shot less than ten minutes later.
- 9:55Speaker 1: The investigators began by asking Becky to make notations beside
- 9:58Speaker 1: each call on their log to record who each phone
- 10:01Speaker 1: number belonged to. The widow was meticulous in her recollection
- 10:05Speaker 1: of many details that day, the pork chops she prepared
- 10:09Speaker 1: for dinner, her movements in the house, even the location
- 10:12Speaker 1: and behavior of the dog. She did not, however, recall
- 10:17Speaker 1: the four minute phone conversation that she held only moments
- 10:20Speaker 1: before her husband was killed.
- 10:24Speaker 10: You other people over here can change what appened.
- 10:30Speaker 9: Let me can not change what appened.
- 10:33Speaker 11: That she can change it from how those are here.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Now by telling this, do you understand what I was saying?
- 10:41Speaker 12: Okay?
- 10:42Speaker 6: So take it deep.
- 10:43Speaker 10: That tells who you talk to five minutes before your
- 10:46Speaker 10: husband was killed, your troping out of his truck.
- 10:53Speaker 13: We're asking questions answer.
- 10:55Speaker 1: To The investigators were not bluffing. A search of the
- 11:00Speaker 1: phone number returned the name of a man known to Becky,
- 11:04Speaker 1: Larry Richmond Senior. Forty six year old Larry was engaged
- 11:09Speaker 1: to be married to Becky's sister Amanda. He was also
- 11:13Speaker 1: a convicted murderer. Larry had been previously sentenced to forty
- 11:17Speaker 1: five years in prison for the shooting and killing of
- 11:20Speaker 1: seventy year old James Everett Montgomery in nineteen ninety six.
- 11:24Speaker 1: He had been released less than a year earlier.
- 11:28Speaker 6: Say about correct, and I don't know much about him?
- 11:33Speaker 12: And what did you talk to move about?
- 11:35Speaker 8: Well?
- 11:36Speaker 10: He wanted to know, okay, But.
- 11:41Speaker 3: While his regan.
- 11:45Speaker 7: So loud, did you talk to him about?
- 11:48Speaker 8: And do not lie? He answer you question?
- 11:51Speaker 7: We were the only answer.
- 11:52Speaker 8: To you, right.
- 11:55Speaker 12: I know his history, we know everything about him.
- 11:59Speaker 6: I don't know what I mean.
- 12:06Speaker 13: I know what helped me wrong, but I don't know
- 12:08Speaker 13: who did. I don't know I obviously don't know who
- 12:13Speaker 13: did it.
- 12:14Speaker 10: No thing about you, and I didn't tell anybody.
- 12:26Speaker 13: Happy, so happy I make him a few times he
- 12:36Speaker 13: basically asked what we were up to.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Becky's claim to not know Larry well enough to form
- 12:44Speaker 1: an opinion of him, it seems was just like the
- 12:47Speaker 1: rest of her story, very unlikely to be truthful. Photos
- 12:52Speaker 1: of the two together and with family showed that Larry
- 12:54Speaker 1: and Becky had in fact spent quite a bit of
- 12:57Speaker 1: time together socially. They even went on a double date.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Then there were the phone records. The phone call on
- 13:04Speaker 1: the night of the murder was not the only deleted
- 13:07Speaker 1: call on Becky's phone. She often deleted calls from her
- 13:11Speaker 1: device history, she said. Investigators found twenty eight additional calls
- 13:16Speaker 1: present on the provider's records that had been cleared from
- 13:19Speaker 1: her device. Fifteen of these calls, all in the previous
- 13:23Speaker 1: two months, were with her sister's fiance. There were no
- 13:27Speaker 1: text messages or other communication between the two located. Investigators
- 13:32Speaker 1: could not prove what was said on the calls, and
- 13:35Speaker 1: Becky continued to insist that she had nothing to do
- 13:38Speaker 1: with her husband's death. But if there was nothing to hide,
- 13:42Speaker 1: why delete the calls. Becky stated that she knew the
- 13:46Speaker 1: phone calls would look bad, perhaps it would appear as
- 13:50Speaker 1: though she was having an affair.
- 13:57Speaker 7: The times.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Setime in Paris having an affairs.
- 14:13Speaker 9: I have not had an affair.
- 14:16Speaker 1: The phone call before the murder may not have indicated
- 14:19Speaker 1: an affair, but detectives did in fact have reason to
- 14:22Speaker 1: believe that Becky had been unfaithful to her husband. After
- 14:26Speaker 1: searching the house on Oakley Street, they discovered a letter
- 14:30Speaker 1: written by Robbie to his wife. It was stored in
- 14:33Speaker 1: a drawer in the master bedroom. In it, he referred
- 14:36Speaker 1: to her infidelity with lines such as ever since he
- 14:39Speaker 1: came back into your life and I see his text
- 14:42Speaker 1: messages on your phone. Who Robbie was referring to in
- 14:46Speaker 1: this letter was not made clear. Becky was arrested and
- 14:50Speaker 1: charged with obstruction of justice for the deletion of the
- 14:54Speaker 1: phone call on the night of the murder and for
- 14:56Speaker 1: lying about it to police. She was released on bail,
- 15:00Speaker 1: but the charges were later dropped. There was a more
- 15:03Speaker 1: significant charge they were seeking to bring against Becky door,
- 15:07Speaker 1: though it would take some time to put together the
- 15:09Speaker 1: missing pieces. With Becky subsequently released from her obstruction charges,
- 15:17Speaker 1: police began conducting surveillance on her Larry Senior, as well
- 15:21Speaker 1: as Larry's son, Larry Richmond Junior. It seems that Larry
- 15:25Speaker 1: Junior had been an employee of the River City Pawnshop
- 15:29Speaker 1: during the period of time when the trust Judge was
- 15:31Speaker 1: removed from the store's inventory. Investigators had still been unable
- 15:36Speaker 1: to recover the weapon, so they brought in Larry Junior
- 15:39Speaker 1: for questioning under threat of greater charges. The younger Larry
- 15:43Speaker 1: folded quickly. He admitted that he had stolen the trust
- 15:47Speaker 1: Judge from the pawnshop. Larry Junior handed over his cell phone,
- 15:52Speaker 1: which contained a text message exchange with his father about
- 15:55Speaker 1: the gun. He sent a photo of the silver Revolver
- 15:58Speaker 1: to Larry a trade. He told investigators that he gave
- 16:03Speaker 1: that gun to his father at that time, just two
- 16:06Speaker 1: days before Robbie Dorr was shot and killed. In August
- 16:13Speaker 1: twenty twenty, the elder Larry pleaded guilty to two counts
- 16:16Speaker 1: of being a felon in possession of a firearm and
- 16:19Speaker 1: two more counts of possessing a firearm with an obliterated
- 16:23Speaker 1: serial number. He promptly went back to prison, having committed
- 16:27Speaker 1: additional felonies only months after being released on parole. While
- 16:32Speaker 1: the suspected gunman was held, detectives pursued a case against
- 16:36Speaker 1: the second person they believed was responsible for Robbie's murder,
- 16:40Speaker 1: his wife, Elizabeth Dorr. As the Evansville Police moved forward.
- 16:46Speaker 1: They called Becky to testify before a Vanderberg grand jury.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Those proceedings are not public record. However, the day following
- 16:55Speaker 1: Becky's testimony in July twenty twenty two, she was booked
- 16:58Speaker 1: into county jail after officials claimed that she perjured herself
- 17:03Speaker 1: just like her alleged accomplice. Becky would remain in custody
- 17:07Speaker 1: as conspiracy and murder charges were filed.
- 17:11Speaker 14: His death rocked this community as he had just finished
- 17:13Speaker 14: his shift serving the citizens of Evansville as a firefighter. Truly,
- 17:17Speaker 14: one of Evansville's bravest today is the first step and
- 17:20Speaker 14: seeing some type of justice for Robbie. A short while ago,
- 17:24Speaker 14: Larry Richmond Senior and Elizabeth Foxdor were charged with the
- 17:27Speaker 14: murder of Robbie. For over three years, EPD investigators, along
- 17:31Speaker 14: with the FBI, the Vanderberg County Prosecutor's Office, and the
- 17:34Speaker 14: Vanderberg County Cyber Crimes Task Force, have been working tirelessly
- 17:39Speaker 14: to get to where we are today.
- 17:41Speaker 15: We are relieved that the long wait is over and
- 17:44Speaker 15: the individuals involved in this murder are being brought to
- 17:47Speaker 15: justice for not only Robbie's murder, but the pain they
- 17:51Speaker 15: have caused his family, his friends, and our department.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 17:57Speaker 1: The widow pleaded not guilty and prepared for trial, which
- 18:00Speaker 1: commenced in the spring of twenty twenty four. Larry Senior's
- 18:04Speaker 1: case was split from hers and was still pending. The
- 18:08Speaker 1: evidence compiled against Becky remained spotty. The state argued that
- 18:13Speaker 1: Becky had a financial motive to want her husband dead.
- 18:17Speaker 1: They also argued that Becky had been engaged in an
- 18:20Speaker 1: affair with Larry Sor, her sister's fiance. Her desire to
- 18:25Speaker 1: be with him was an additional motive to take out
- 18:28Speaker 1: her husband.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Robbie Door was gunned down in his own driveway by
- 18:35Speaker 5: Larry Richmond Senior. I didn't tend for any of this
- 18:38Speaker 5: to happen, This is what the defendant told detectives who
- 18:43Speaker 5: were questioning her that night about the death of her husband.
- 18:48Speaker 5: When Robbie Door arrived at his home after work, he
- 18:51Speaker 5: was ambushed by Larry Richmond, who led in wait just
- 18:54Speaker 5: feet from where Robbie Dor pulled into his driveway. This
- 18:58Speaker 5: puts him close to a window. The defendant says she
- 19:00Speaker 5: was standing near making a port chop dinner just fifteen
- 19:04Speaker 5: minutes before Robbie dor was ambushed and killed. The defendant
- 19:07Speaker 5: spoke with Larry Richmond Senior on the phone for four
- 19:10Speaker 5: minutes and eighteen seconds. As soon as the defendant was
- 19:14Speaker 5: finished talking to Larry Richmond Senior, she deleted that phone call.
- 19:20Speaker 7: There will be no evidence that Becky Door had any
- 19:24Speaker 7: conversation with anyone about killing anyone. That doesn't exist. That
- 19:32Speaker 7: is a speculative, suppositional, grandiose suggestion to support a charge
- 19:39Speaker 7: that should have never been filed. You will hear no
- 19:44Speaker 7: evidence of Becky Door talking about getting a gun. You'll
- 19:49Speaker 7: hear no evidence about a conversation with anyone that's plotting
- 19:55Speaker 7: her husband's death. That evidence does not exist.
- 20:05Speaker 1: One of Becky's adult sons, Nathaniel, took the stand for
- 20:08Speaker 1: the prosecution. He told the jury that his mother was
- 20:12Speaker 1: fixated on a stepfather's pension income. She spoke about it regularly,
- 20:16Speaker 1: including on the night that he died.
- 20:19Speaker 8: It was a conversation several times. It was almost we
- 20:25Speaker 8: had a conversation about it daily, and I got frustrated
- 20:30Speaker 8: several times and I was like, Mom, there are procedures
- 20:33Speaker 8: we have to go through to get to that point.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Perhaps the most curious detail of Nate's testimony was in
- 20:40Speaker 1: relation to a note that he discovered tucked inside one
- 20:43Speaker 1: of the sympathy cards left at Robbie's funeral. While going
- 20:47Speaker 1: through the cards, he noticed a piece of paper fall
- 20:49Speaker 1: out of the card from his aunt Amanda and her
- 20:52Speaker 1: fiance Larry. We need to talk, it stated, It was
- 20:56Speaker 1: signed Larry. Amanda had no recollection of this note and
- 21:01Speaker 1: no knowledge that it had been placed inside their card.
- 21:04Speaker 7: Can hear we need to talk? There's a phone number.
- 21:13Speaker 8: And it says Larry eight one two five eight nine
- 21:18Speaker 8: five two three eight Larry.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Remember about it?
- 21:24Speaker 8: Correct?
- 21:26Speaker 1: The note in the sympathy card was one of two
- 21:28Speaker 1: handwritten letters that the state presented as evidence of the
- 21:31Speaker 1: conspiracy after the fact. The other note, verified by a
- 21:35Speaker 1: handwriting expert, was passed to Becky while in custody and
- 21:39Speaker 1: addressed to Barbie. In it, Larry Senior wrote that the
- 21:43Speaker 1: case against Becky was weak. He didn't believe she would
- 21:46Speaker 1: go to trial as long as she stayed quiet. He
- 21:50Speaker 1: told her not to take a plea deal. Ironically, a
- 21:54Speaker 1: cellmate of Larry's in the County jail came forward not
- 21:58Speaker 1: long afterwards, claiming that he had admitted to the killing.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Larry allegedly told his cellmate that he was having an
- 22:05Speaker 1: affair with the firefighter's wife and had laid in wait
- 22:08Speaker 1: at the man's home and shot him to death. This
- 22:12Speaker 1: alleged confession was inadmissible at Becky's trial. Becky's defense hammered
- 22:18Speaker 1: one of the lead detectives from the investigation over the
- 22:21Speaker 1: lack of evidence. The detective testified that, despite not uncovering
- 22:26Speaker 1: the content of any communications between Becky Door and Larry
- 22:30Speaker 1: Senior about the murder, he believed that she was lying
- 22:33Speaker 1: about it.
- 22:35Speaker 15: So strong about the chase, but I have doubts.
- 22:38Speaker 4: I mean, I can't be on the phone the phone
- 22:42Speaker 4: conversation within.
- 22:43Speaker 7: That night, you know, you you have.
- 22:48Speaker 12: Let's sort of get this out the Absolutely, there was
- 22:50Speaker 12: a phone conversation that you asked Becky about some point,
- 22:54Speaker 12: correct trick, and you allegeance with Lairs and Senior.
- 22:58Speaker 7: Right, it's is is that correct? Okay? I have no
- 23:02Speaker 7: idea what they talk about being you and you know
- 23:05Speaker 7: who initiated that call, don't you? He did, who Larishman did?
- 23:10Speaker 12: In fact that your investigation, you don't have any evidence
- 23:14Speaker 12: that Becky Dore ever initiated a phone conversation of any
- 23:18Speaker 12: kind with Lesman Senior correct.
- 23:20Speaker 9: Correct.
- 23:21Speaker 12: In fact, this idea that is floated that these few
- 23:28Speaker 12: were lovers, you don't have any communication between the two
- 23:32Speaker 12: of that that would suggest that being correct. So if
- 23:37Speaker 12: there's been a representation that there's going to be proof,
- 23:40Speaker 12: we have a reasonable doubt that Becky Dore and Lyrics
- 23:43Speaker 12: Senior the lovers.
- 23:45Speaker 7: That evidence doesn't exist, does it correct?
- 23:48Speaker 4: But that's where mass speak, thank you when we talked
- 23:55Speaker 4: about doubt. That's what because I can't be. We can't
- 23:57Speaker 4: get content from a phone conversation. That's why I have
- 24:00Speaker 4: to take her now. Looking at everything that has come in,
- 24:04Speaker 4: I don't.
- 24:05Speaker 15: Believe her answer. That's where I felt strong.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I feel strong at the case, but my doubt is.
- 24:10Speaker 7: I can't be.
- 24:11Speaker 15: I can't listen to the phone conversation.
- 24:12Speaker 4: People can delete text messages between the two and we
- 24:16Speaker 4: can't prove they've tech, but they can.
- 24:18Speaker 7: Discard them before we collect the phone.
- 24:20Speaker 15: That happens all the time.
- 24:23Speaker 1: It would be Larry Richmond Junior that took the stand
- 24:26Speaker 1: to tie the last pieces together. He told the jury
- 24:29Speaker 1: about giving the stolen Judge revolver to his father before
- 24:32Speaker 1: the murder. He also spoke about the single encounter that
- 24:36Speaker 1: he had with Becky Dorr, claiming that she met with
- 24:39Speaker 1: his father in their vehicle. The two spoke briefly and
- 24:43Speaker 1: kissed each other before parting ways.
- 24:46Speaker 7: My father was in the driver's seat, she was in
- 24:48Speaker 7: the passenger seat, and I was in the back of
- 24:49Speaker 7: the seat. And do they have a conversation? I couldn't
- 24:54Speaker 7: recall it on my phone. You weren't If they did,
- 24:56Speaker 7: you weren't listening. Yeah, I wasn't listening to And what happened?
- 25:01Speaker 8: Did she exit the vehicle?
- 25:03Speaker 7: Yes? And vernything happened before she got out of the car.
- 25:06Speaker 7: The kissed say kiss.
- 25:09Speaker 1: That Larry Senior had been The gunman was well supported.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Cell phone location data from his device placed him in
- 25:16Speaker 1: the neighborhood near to the house on Oakley Street before
- 25:19Speaker 1: and after the shooting. Investigators recovered more than forty two
- 25:23Speaker 1: thousand files from his iPhone, including fifteen location hits in
- 25:28Speaker 1: a sixty seven meters cluster surrounding Robbie's house. The location
- 25:32Speaker 1: data also showed him driving away from the door residence
- 25:36Speaker 1: after the shooting. His device was powered off between six
- 25:39Speaker 1: fifty two pm immediately after the call with Becky until
- 25:43Speaker 1: seven to fourteen pm. At that time, Robbie had been shot.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Larry was located at a gas station around the corner

- 26:57Speaker 11: And the people that are.
- 26:59Speaker 14: Finally being held acountable for what they've done.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Two of Becky's sons spoke at her sentencing hearing, though
- 27:05Speaker 1: only one of them did so. On her behalf. Nathaniel
- 27:09Speaker 1: spoke passionately about the pain that her actions had caused
- 27:12Speaker 1: the family and how she was now lost to them.
- 27:16Speaker 1: When it was Becky's turn to speak, she took the
- 27:18Speaker 1: opportunity to once again proclaim her innocence, and after a
