- 0:00Happy Sunday morning everybody. I read a story yesterday on
- 0:07Instagram. Feels like we're in purgatory.
- 0:12What do we do from December 26th to December 31st?
- 0:19I thought the same thing. It's like people are roaming
- 0:22aimlessly. December 26th to December 31st.
- 0:28Nobody is used to this much time off and you know, everybody
- 0:34goes. Well, I'd like to try it.
- 0:36Well, here you are, buddy. Have at it.
- 0:38Now. What are you going to do?
- 0:40People just like, what do I do now?
- 0:44It's on Instagram. It's funny.
- 0:47It's like people are walking around aimlessly.
- 0:50What do we do? OK, we'll talk about that later.
- 0:55I said it would happen. Hold on, let me get my arm 00
- 1:00Wallace, you just so smart. Kenny Wallace is so smart.
- 1:05Just asking. OK, what was it a month or two
- 1:13ago, two months ago, NASCAR came out and they said why won't they
- 1:19came out? But it it got leaked or whatever
- 1:22you want to call it, NASCAR didn't announce it.
- 1:26But inside NASCAR in this auditorium, they had a plan.
- 1:32And you know, all the race tracks and team manager, I don't
- 1:35know everybody. They said, all right, here's
- 1:38what we're going to do next year in 2026, we're going to, we're
- 1:44going to start cleaning up the mess that we made.
- 1:48NASCAR realizes that they have pissed all the fans off.
- 1:53I don't think they meant to, right?
- 1:55It's like I don't I don't think there's somebody at NASCAR
- 1:58going, hey, you know what we're going to do?
- 1:59We're going to piss all the fans off on purpose.
- 2:03There's the Queen, good morning. There she goes.
- 2:07Oh, she just you saw the ass end of her.
- 2:13So but what got everybody's attention was NASCAR said, we're
- 2:19going to we're going to hire a firm, and this firm's going to
- 2:22tell us how to repair the damage.
- 2:25So they said what we're going to do is we're going to go back to
- 2:28the old days. And they said we're going to
- 2:32start out with this rebel yell, like redneck yell.
- 2:37And it's going to be called hell yeah, hell yeah.
- 2:42And they literally spell it out right there.
- 2:44There it is on the screen. Hell yeah.
- 2:48So remember I had fun with it and I said, well hell, they
- 2:50should have called me. I'd have told them what to do,
- 2:52how to get back into good graces of all of us rednecks.
- 2:56So 2 days ago, well basically the day after Christmas, we saw
- 3:01the first Hell yeah commercial come out.
- 3:05It starts out with some guy at a bar drinking a beer, I think it
- 3:09was a Bush Bush light. And he goes, what's the big deal
- 3:14about this Daytona 500? And then this redneck goes, you
- 3:19want me to tell you what's the big deal about it?
- 3:23And he goes on this tangent and just like an Earnhardt fan, he
- 3:28starts going in his voice and he starts screaming just like an
- 3:32Earnhardt fan would. Earnhardt to the front.
- 3:36You know, Earnhardt fans, they scream and and that's what
- 3:39they're poking fun at. I love it.
- 3:42And then at the very end, Zane Smith says, I get what he's
- 3:48saying. So respond right here.
- 3:53Do you like it that NASCAR is trying to apologize?
- 3:57I do. Here's my opinion.
- 4:00My God, You know, it's kind of like, it's kind of like an
- 4:04argument with your wife. You're so fucking mad that you
- 4:08don't want to be nice and you almost want to make it linger on
- 4:13longer because you're you're still not mad.
- 4:15You're still not right yet. Where are you guys at?
- 4:21Do you still want to be mad at NASCAR?
- 4:23Do you want to make you want to be mad at them longer?
- 4:27NASCAR? I'm I'm still mad at them, but
- 4:30but you know, whatever now for me, I'm like, hey, I'm here,
- 4:35man. I'm here for the apology.
- 4:38I want to hear what you have to say.
- 4:39I am interested to see what what kind of redneck commercials
- 4:45they're going to make and what kind of redneck ISM.
- 4:49I'm excited. Kim's got some video.
- 4:52Kim says. I play my videos loud.
- 4:54Hell horses as loud as mine. Let's listen.
- 5:00Can you hear it? OK, so anyway, I'm here for it
- 5:05and I'm ready for the apology. NASCAR just started their
- 5:09apology tour with hell yeah, the first commercial.
- 5:14OK, I was watching TV today and there's a lady that said 20
- 5:22after 520 after 5 or 20 till 5. What do you what do you say?
- 5:33I say 520, I say 440. Is that an old school thing?
- 5:41Who out there still talks like that?
- 5:44Oh, let me see. It's it's 15 till 50.
- 5:48So it's not 445. It's 15 till 5.
- 5:52Sounds like a lot of work. Just saying it's 4:45 or not
- 5:595:20, It's 520. It's the little everybody.
- 6:05It's the little what do you say? Respond right here, Let me know.
- 6:17OK, back to my original thought today.
- 6:22What do you do with December 26th to December 31st?
- 6:33Here's my take. We're doing exactly what we're
- 6:39supposed to do. Everybody, you know, everybody
- 6:41says, man, I can't wait for retirement.
- 6:44I can't wait to retire. That verbiage is wrong.
- 6:49It should be said. It should say I can't wait to do
- 6:53what I want to do. OK, let me, let me take another.
- 6:57Let me clean that up. You know, everybody goes, I
- 7:00can't wait to retire. That's the wrong thing to say.
- 7:05Nobody retires. I'm retired.
- 7:09That means I'm doing what I want to do now.
- 7:13So December 26th to December 31st is a good look inside
- 7:20retirement or to do what you want to do.
- 7:25You know, now there are some people working in restaurants,
- 7:27but for the most part, like so many people are off and they're
- 7:32just not doing anything. Where do you fit in?
- 7:37Oh, let me see, last week you averaged 7 hours and 10 minutes.
- 7:41Do you all get that weekly available report?
- 7:44It just said I averaged 7 hours, 10 minutes a day on my phone.
- 7:50Well, I know that's bullshit, so I don't know how they count
- 7:52that. I might look at it and put it
- 7:55down, but I don't spend 7 hours and 10 minutes on my phone.
- 8:00Now I know that for a fact. So how do they, how do they come
- 8:03up with that figure? All right, everybody, the
- 8:09legend's off. He's off to Alaska.
- 8:13Have a great Sunday.
