- 0:12Speaker 1: messing around?
- 0:14Speaker 2: Right up? Why what's this new camera angle? I don't
- 0:16Speaker 2: like it? Close up?
- 0:19Speaker 1: I'm closer. I'm closer to the outside of the area
- 0:24Speaker 1: where my closet is. And so now I got the
- 0:29Speaker 1: Wi Fi is a little bit better over.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Oh, I see do you have the box?
- 0:34Speaker 1: I do have the box?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Do you mean you didn't open it right?
- 0:38Speaker 1: I forgot about it already.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 0:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna invite Bill in because he's here and he's
- 0:42Speaker 3: gonna be part of the live opening on the show.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen have Bill Lawrence here. We always invite
- 0:48Speaker 3: Bill in early because he's special. Yeah, thunderous applause? Damn
- 0:57Speaker 3: do you like your thunderous applause?
- 0:59Speaker 4: I need it on compliments.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Hey, guys, Bill, you're the only person we allow in
- 1:05Speaker 1: early before before we sing the theme song because you're
- 1:09Speaker 1: so special. Well also because he might sometimes count in
- 1:14Speaker 1: and the theme song.
- 1:15Speaker 3: But also Bill's so funny that we're like, no, we
- 1:17Speaker 3: want the whole show to be extra funny, so let
- 1:19Speaker 3: him do the whole thing.
- 1:21Speaker 4: That is a lot of pressure. I mean, it's a lot.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Of By the way, before we even start, I got
- 1:26Speaker 3: to say, this is a very funny episode.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I laughed a lot.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I laughed out loud and had to pause and write
- 1:32Speaker 3: down laughing out loud because there's a lot of funny
- 1:35Speaker 3: shit in this episode.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Quite a quite a few funny parts in this episode,
- 1:38Speaker 1: quite a few. Can I tell you what?
- 1:40Speaker 4: I'll make you as laugh?
- 1:41Speaker 5: Is it?
- 1:41Speaker 4: Because you know I was, You were nice enough to
- 1:43Speaker 4: invite me late, And so it's a good challenge for
- 1:45Speaker 4: me to try and remember an episode without watching it
- 1:48Speaker 4: like I usually do beforehand. And I went to one
- 1:51Speaker 4: of the websites on Scrubs and just looking at the
- 1:53Speaker 4: pictures of it, I remember how funny the episode. One
- 1:56Speaker 4: of the pictures of Scott fully in the jukebox. Yeah,
- 2:01Speaker 4: Tara Reid was a cigarette. But yeah, like this episode
- 2:05Speaker 4: was insane.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it's insane, dude, Scott Scotland's it's very stoner. It's
- 2:10Speaker 2: a very stoner episode.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Scott Foley and Sarah and and Elliott are playing hide
- 2:15Speaker 3: and seek in the bar and.
- 2:17Speaker 1: And and no in the world, in the world.
- 2:19Speaker 2: In the world. They run into they run into the bar.
- 2:22Speaker 3: And because there were you're you're highlighting how cute a
- 2:25Speaker 3: couple they are together, and he goes, guys, guys, we're
- 2:27Speaker 3: playing hide and seek.
- 2:28Speaker 2: No one tell her where I am. And then I go.
- 2:30Speaker 3: She goes where is he? And I go, I don't
- 2:31Speaker 3: know he's and then I see it. He's in the
- 2:33Speaker 3: juke box. He's he's managed to get inside the juke box.
- 2:37Speaker 1: But then he keeps the ship.
- 2:38Speaker 2: And then and then I go, and then I go,
- 2:41Speaker 2: he's a dynamite hider.
- 2:46Speaker 1: So dumb.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It's so dumb, but I laughed out loud.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I laughed, Yo, dude, Come on, there's so many funny
- 2:52Speaker 1: parts in this.
- 2:53Speaker 2: There's so much funny ship.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Wait before we start, we're gonna we have one special thing,
- 2:57Speaker 3: Bill that you're a part of. Donald is gonna live
- 3:00Speaker 3: opened his Christmas present that finally arrived.
- 3:03Speaker 2: I'm very excited about this. Okay now, Bill.
- 3:07Speaker 3: On the last episode, but you haven't heard yet because
- 3:09Speaker 3: it hasn't aired, we talked about how you probably know
- 3:13Speaker 3: about stock X because your kids are obsessed with sneakers.
- 3:16Speaker 3: So I got these on stock X for Donald. They
- 3:19Speaker 3: had to get certified of Matthew. Hey, all right, listen,
- 3:25Speaker 3: they've been their limited edition. This is very exciting. He's
- 3:30Speaker 3: opening everybody. He's opening.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I didn't take the time to wrap it because who cares.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And it says it on the outside. I just want
- 3:41Speaker 1: to put you out there with it. Oh buddy, buddy, buddy,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I have these already.
- 3:52Speaker 2: No you don't, No, I don't. Holy shit, Holy sh
- 4:06Speaker 2: they're Orlando sneakers, their limited edition Lando cal Adidas, the.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Best Star Wars character ever in the history. Start.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Take him out. Take him out, dude.
- 4:17Speaker 3: They say his favorite they say his lines on the
- 4:20Speaker 3: side of his most famous line on the side of
- 4:22Speaker 3: the shoe.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah, they've been opened already, so there's no reason because.
- 4:26Speaker 3: They had to get they had to get approved, Bro,
- 4:29Speaker 3: they had to get they had to get verified.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I can't believe you said you had him. I freaked out.
- 4:34Speaker 4: That's my By the way, that's a well performed, very
- 4:37Speaker 4: well performed red shoes.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Oh shit.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Oh you got cities, dude, dude, you got Lando. You
- 4:46Speaker 3: got Lando on the tongue. But Donald, look at the
- 4:48Speaker 3: lines on the on the inside of the shoe, on
- 4:51Speaker 3: the side. It says, uh something about the ship, about
- 4:53Speaker 3: the falcon.
- 4:55Speaker 1: You know, that ship saved my life quite a few times.
- 4:57Speaker 1: She's the fastest uncle junk in the ga.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I love it.
- 5:03Speaker 4: There you go, buddy, Wow, hey, Donald, that's from that's
- 5:07Speaker 4: from Zach and me.
- 5:08Speaker 2: So we hope no, Bill, Bill.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Well, you see how you see how that works. You
- 5:16Speaker 1: see how that works, guys, and you see what I
- 5:18Speaker 1: did automatically. I immediately thanked Bill. I just want to tell
- 5:20Speaker 1: you that, Joel and Daniel, that's the proper response when
- 5:24Speaker 1: someone says that's from Zach and I. That's how you
- 5:27Speaker 1: do it. This is how Bill, Bill.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I gave Joel and Daniel presents, and of course Donald didn't.
- 5:33Speaker 3: And Donald tried to be like, that's from both of us,
- 5:35Speaker 3: and I was like, no, no, but you know what,
- 5:37Speaker 3: because it's Bill, Donald, that is from.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Both of them.
- 5:40Speaker 1: You know what'll make you know, to make you guys happy.
- 5:42Speaker 4: The only the only shoe related gift I've ever been
- 5:45Speaker 4: part of is this is it'll circle back around. So
- 5:50Speaker 4: and maybe Donald know who this is. I'll have Henry
- 5:51Speaker 4: come tell us. Henry walked into my closet and he
- 5:54Speaker 4: saw the scrubs one hundredth episode Nikes. You know, I
- 5:58Speaker 4: had him unworn, untouched, and uh, and then he was
- 6:01Speaker 4: watching some whatever version of Cribs or whatever. But if
- 6:04Speaker 4: some hip hop artists or rapper was showing his shoe
- 6:07Speaker 4: collection and somebody in our crew must have sold those,
- 6:09Speaker 4: because he had the one of the shoes he highlighted on.
- 6:12Speaker 6: These are these are the scrubs and yeah, these are
- 6:16Speaker 6: the scrubs one hundred nikes and they're priceless because they're ungettable.
- 6:21Speaker 6: And Henry processed that and I went back to my
- 6:23Speaker 6: closet and my shoes were gone.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Checked this on there.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Literally they're on a homemade display case in his closet, priceless.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Next time its Donald's still got them. Well Donald wore
- 6:36Speaker 2: them minor on worn too nice scrubs one hundred. Sure
- 6:43Speaker 2: they're probably on eBay for some other crew members who
- 6:45Speaker 2: were like bugg It buggett before.
- 6:48Speaker 1: We just about those shoes real quick. When you're when
- 6:51Speaker 1: you were coming up as an actor and you got
- 6:53Speaker 1: to do a lot of work when you were like
- 6:54Speaker 1: I got to do a lot of work as a
- 6:56Speaker 1: very very young actor, like uh, when I was before
- 6:59Speaker 1: I was anyone, I you know, I was paying for
- 7:03Speaker 1: high school and all of that shit, right, Uh, but
- 7:06Speaker 1: through acting and when you would get the crew gift,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you know, the crew jacket, that always was something right,
- 7:15Speaker 1: and you know, when you're young, you wear that shit
- 7:18Speaker 1: because you know you're proud of it and you want
- 7:21Speaker 1: everybody to see. My one mistake with those sneakers is
- 7:25Speaker 1: I wore them.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Because Joelle just posted that there are two thousand bucks
- 7:29Speaker 4: online those shoes.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Oh man, well that's probably not worn. I wore those things.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Is it?
- 7:34Speaker 4: Is it tacky for me to have about two hundred
- 7:37Speaker 4: pairs of those made real quick and then we just
- 7:42Speaker 4: fly that stuff out there.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I mean, we'll do get things good. The money.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Well, that's that's fly dude. It's it's still the scrub.
- 7:48Speaker 1: It's still the scrubs. Listen, dude, that would be dope anyway.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Bill Bill's son, Henry he's talking about, is very into sneakers,
- 7:54Speaker 3: like a lot of teenage boys. And I was going
- 7:56Speaker 3: over their house and I took a moment to look
- 7:59Speaker 3: in my as I collect sneakers, and I was like,
- 8:01Speaker 3: I'm going to put on like a pair that will
- 8:03Speaker 3: really impress Henry. And I literally thought about this and
- 8:06Speaker 3: I put on a pair, and I was like, all right,
- 8:07Speaker 3: Henry's gonna notice and he's gonna think I'm cool, Uncle Zach.
- 8:11Speaker 2: And I walk in the door, He's like, those are
- 8:13Speaker 2: the lamest version of those. Yeah, yeah, you raised the dick. Yeah.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I didn't know if I could love him more because
- 8:27Speaker 4: my son.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Like, oh god, I want.
- 8:36Speaker 2: To just eat him up anyway, Donald, you better wear those.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Don't just put him on the closet.
- 8:44Speaker 1: No, these will get these will be these will be
- 8:47Speaker 1: put to uh the test.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I thought, I have land quotes on the side.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Yes, Bill, I have a good quick thing to say
- 8:56Speaker 4: before as a way for one of you to count
- 8:59Speaker 4: yourselves in randomly, My wife and I saw Charlie Pooth
- 9:03Speaker 4: yesterday and he started talking about how much fun it
- 9:07Speaker 4: was to work with you two knuckleheads on this theme song. Yeah,
- 9:11Speaker 4: and then said he's like, I felt like it was
- 9:14Speaker 4: all of them, they're so talented. But he did say
- 9:17Speaker 4: I do feel like I was a huge champion of
- 9:21Speaker 4: making sure that they said the title of their podcast
- 9:25Speaker 4: in their theme song lyrics. He's like, dude, you got
- 9:28Speaker 4: to say what it is and that that to me.
- 9:30Speaker 4: It made me so happy. Now when I hear the
- 9:32Speaker 4: end of that song of the Zachdonald's scrubs is literally
- 9:35Speaker 4: word for word, Yeah, the most awkward possible title to
- 9:39Speaker 4: fit into a song.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Well, we have a new challenge for Charlie. We're going
- 9:44Speaker 2: to do a dating.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Segment for Joel and and we're gonna have to We're
- 9:48Speaker 3: gonna call up Charlie and have him write a little
- 9:51Speaker 3: segment segment song.
- 9:52Speaker 1: That boy's voice is so silky. Bill, you remember your birthday? Yeah,
- 9:57Speaker 1: when he sang for your birthday, pitch you, guys, he's
- 10:00Speaker 1: got oh my gosh, one year ago when we could
- 10:04Speaker 1: all till years ago, two years ago.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Two years ago, when you're you're I judge time by
- 10:09Speaker 4: my daughter's boyfriends and he was two years ago.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Bill count us in because we America loves him when.
- 10:17Speaker 4: You count all right, but you know I can't.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 10:20Speaker 3: You have to be told not to. Donald, come on,
- 10:22Speaker 3: tell him, Hey, Billy doesn't want you to. Billy doesn't
- 10:26Speaker 3: want you to.
- 10:26Speaker 5: All right?
- 10:27Speaker 4: Ready, by way, is this the type of thing that
- 10:29Speaker 4: I could count it in? Or do you guys usually
- 10:31Speaker 4: do that?
- 10:31Speaker 2: No, Bill, you cannot. It's only count you.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Ever.
- 10:39Speaker 7: Here's some stories about show we made about a bunch
- 10:45Speaker 7: of dogs and nurses. He said, he's a story new
- 10:54Speaker 7: yet here yead here.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Bill.
- 11:04Speaker 3: On Twitter today someone said I had no idea you
- 11:06Speaker 3: were involved with To me, I had no idea you
- 11:08Speaker 3: were involved with ted Lasso. I love it so much.
- 11:10Speaker 3: And I said, well, it was mostly me and Jason,
- 11:12Speaker 3: but we got some guidance from Bill, and I thought you.
- 11:18Speaker 3: I thought you'd appreciate that I'm spinning your podcast joke
- 11:21Speaker 3: for ted Lasso unacceptable.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Tell us about.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Hold on, Billy, please, we're doing a very famous podcast
- 11:27Speaker 3: right now.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Tell us it's going to be awkward that your dog
- 11:30Speaker 4: and I have the same name. And I'm going to
- 11:32Speaker 4: answer Billy from now on. Whatever you say, hold on,
- 11:36Speaker 4: let me let my dog out.
- 11:37Speaker 2: She's crying. Come on, Billy, please.
- 11:40Speaker 8: While run a brief While run a brief break, Donald,
- 11:43Speaker 8: have you ever worn a pair of nmd's the style
- 11:46Speaker 8: of shoe that those Landos are. No, They're some of
- 11:49Speaker 8: the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I don't really, I've never really worn Adidas, to be
- 11:55Speaker 1: honest with you. The only pair of Adidas I've ever
- 11:57Speaker 1: owned were to Patrick Ewings back in the day. Okay,
- 11:59Speaker 1: cool before he had the ewings. I had the Patrick ewings.
- 12:03Speaker 1: They were orange, they were like the orange, white and blue.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Hell yeah, Pat ewings back.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I remember standing in a little tiny in my in
- 12:11Speaker 1: my mom's bathroom because she had the mirror with some
- 12:14Speaker 1: raggedy ass clothes on, but some clean ass pat and
- 12:17Speaker 1: ewing looking at the shoes like that ship made me
- 12:20Speaker 1: look good. And I got a haircut that day too.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I know I looked fly. I was like outside, I.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Love it, very very funny show. And I still have
- 12:33Speaker 3: the striped sweater that I'm walking up to. The security
- 12:36Speaker 3: guard named IRV. Bill, you didn't get a chance to watch,
- 12:38Speaker 3: But I don't know if you recall I I do.
- 12:41Speaker 4: I remember IRV because he I think he tried to
- 12:44Speaker 4: smother or kill someone.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yes, do so?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Irv.
- 12:48Speaker 3: IRV is the security guard which we've never seen before.
- 12:51Speaker 3: We've only seen Leonard Randall Winston with a hook hand
- 12:53Speaker 3: and an afro.
- 12:54Speaker 2: And are we?
- 12:55Speaker 1: Are we not going to do America's favorite?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Sorry, let the dog out? And I got distracted, Donald, Yes,
- 13:02Speaker 3: please let me get my counter. I'm sorry America and Earth.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Now I'm going to fuck up because no, you this
- 13:11Speaker 1: is all your fault.
- 13:12Speaker 2: This is all your fault ready, Marczeta.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Turk and Calla are joint at the hip. The janitor's
- 13:20Speaker 1: got a new job, Doctor Cox might have a crush.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Elliot and Sean have reunited, and JD makes out with
- 13:26Speaker 1: a cigarette. Breaking up is so so hard to do,
- 13:30Speaker 1: and no one ever really wants to waste someone's time.
- 13:34Speaker 1: But we also hate confrontation. To overcome this fear is
- 13:37Speaker 1: debilitating at times, and when it finally comes to a head,
- 13:41Speaker 1: if not taken care of early, it can cause an
- 13:44Speaker 1: awful mess. What's crazy is how fast the pressure is
- 13:48Speaker 1: relieved once you step up and face the situation. I've
- 13:52Speaker 1: learned bravery is way more rewarding than cowardice.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Yes, Queen seconds for a graft guy.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Yes, Well, the janitor is in a real sticky position
- 14:03Speaker 3: here because he's gott a nerve's job and he's his
- 14:07Speaker 3: main goal is the security guard is to guard these
- 14:09Speaker 3: one doors that that that that Kelso keeps breaking through
- 14:12Speaker 3: to go to his ca.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yeah someone right, he doesn't even know it for he
- 14:15Speaker 1: doesn't know it.
- 14:16Speaker 4: That's agency exit. It's a fire hazard in.
- 14:18Speaker 1: The hospital, right, That's it's so important to say that too,
- 14:21Speaker 1: or the joke doesn't or the or the joke doesn't
- 14:23Speaker 1: land like. He's a tough guy with uh Turk and
- 14:27Speaker 1: Karla about the situation. He's telling them how you know,
- 14:30Speaker 1: he can't wait to catch this for He's even asked
- 14:32Speaker 1: security to handle it, but they're more worried about the
- 14:36Speaker 1: people that are stealing and harvesting us.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah. I love that IRVS in charge of finding out
- 14:43Speaker 2: who's stealing organs from the hospital. But anyway, so the
- 14:47Speaker 2: janitor gets a has a friend who's a bank teller
- 14:50Speaker 2: or something, and he puts the one of the die
- 14:52Speaker 2: packs in the in the in the alarm somehow.
- 14:56Speaker 1: But this is after the janitor gets the job, right,
- 14:58Speaker 1: So the janitor, the janitor gets irv's job because IRV
- 15:02Speaker 1: is now fired for smothering a patient or attempted murder.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Yeah right, but who who away?
- 15:07Speaker 3: You and you and Judy, You and Carla tackle IRV
- 15:10Speaker 3: and Judy sticks a need That was you and Judy,
- 15:19Speaker 3: You and Judy tackling IRV and putting a needle in
- 15:21Speaker 3: his neck was hilarious just because.
- 15:24Speaker 2: The guy called him.
- 15:25Speaker 4: The guy called him pudgy or something, right, right, Well.
- 15:27Speaker 2: First of all, I'm jumping ahead.
- 15:28Speaker 3: There's a really funny moment Bill when when JD IRV,
- 15:32Speaker 3: JD passes IRV and says morning Nerve, and JD's just
- 15:35Speaker 3: walking and someone parks in a red zone and that's
- 15:37Speaker 3: what the park.
- 15:38Speaker 2: And even though JD's walking, Earth starts to run, but
- 15:42Speaker 2: because he's a heavy, heavy and old, he can't really
- 15:44Speaker 2: run that fast. But JD's just walking. And then you
- 15:47Speaker 2: see JD arrive and then the even though he was
- 15:50Speaker 2: running a Roden section.
- 15:54Speaker 1: But wait, hold up, it's a very funny.
- 15:56Speaker 2: It's a very funny joke because you see IRV run out.
- 15:59Speaker 9: J Hey, I'll tell you some trivia that even scrumbs
- 16:08Speaker 9: Wiki guy won't know.
- 16:10Speaker 4: I was excited when Zach, when you said which episode
- 16:12Speaker 4: it was, you said, my choosiest choice of all because
- 16:15Speaker 4: there's certain titles and certain keys that I can tell you,
- 16:18Speaker 4: even without remembering it right off the bat, that it
- 16:20Speaker 4: was going to be a goofy joke filled episode because
- 16:23Speaker 4: we would never you know, title one of the serious
- 16:26Speaker 4: episodes like that. And my choosiest choice of all was
- 16:30Speaker 4: because this is season three and we've been doing this
- 16:32Speaker 4: for a long time and this is right when and
- 16:34Speaker 4: you guys know, I bitch and moan, and this is
- 16:36Speaker 4: right when in the writer's room, I started to get
- 16:39Speaker 4: mad that all the voiceovers at the end of the
- 16:41Speaker 4: shows were like, at the end of the day, you
- 16:43Speaker 4: make decisions, and these decisions lead to choices, and those
- 16:47Speaker 4: choices affect the things that you do right right, And
- 16:50Speaker 4: so this exists because then I would riff. And those
- 16:53Speaker 4: choices are the hardest things you'll ever do, because sometimes
- 16:56Speaker 4: the cheosiest choice is the choosiest choice of a.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Soh so when.
- 17:05Speaker 4: I see a when I see a title like this,
- 17:08Speaker 4: I know it's one of our silly episodes.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Well, that's funny that you say that, because it is.
- 17:13Speaker 3: You know, as the fans all know, some episodes, you
- 17:15Speaker 3: know that you span the spectrum in tone and some
- 17:18Speaker 3: are just packed with silliness and jokes, and this is
- 17:20Speaker 3: one of them. I mean, there's not a moment when
- 17:23Speaker 3: Turk and Carla aren't arm in arm for the whole episode,
- 17:26Speaker 3: except when the moment begins, you know, when you tackle
- 17:29Speaker 3: IRV and put a needle in his neck, and even
- 17:32Speaker 3: then you're together, but you don't have your arms around
- 17:33Speaker 3: each other.
- 17:34Speaker 1: But even it all starts when you say, when you
- 17:38Speaker 1: ask for when you ask, do you ask them for
- 17:40Speaker 1: advice or do they just decide to give it?
- 17:42Speaker 3: Yeah, there's some commentary like you don't want to ask
- 17:44Speaker 3: a couple who are about to get married because they
- 17:47Speaker 3: think they have advice on romance for everyone, and then.
- 17:51Speaker 1: On and then all of a sudden they connect and
- 17:54Speaker 1: speak it at the same time, and from that moment
- 17:56Speaker 1: on they're together.
- 17:58Speaker 4: That's really funny, and it's a little it's a little
- 18:01Speaker 4: precursor for Were Little Become.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Was it Tarla or what was your name in Princess Bride? Right?
- 18:09Speaker 2: The fairy Tale episode?
- 18:10Speaker 4: Uh connected Tarla?
- 18:12Speaker 2: Tarla's right?
- 18:16Speaker 1: So yo. I didn't remember this episode at all, like
- 18:18Speaker 1: I sincerely did not. I didn't remember one joke.
- 18:21Speaker 2: From you have a big part of this episode, dude.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I didn't remember. I got to tell you something. There's
- 18:27Speaker 1: something something was wrong with me this year because at
- 18:30Speaker 1: the rap party, Bellamy comes up to me and it's like, hey,
- 18:33Speaker 1: what a great year, and I'm and I didn't recognize
- 18:36Speaker 1: her and I was like, oh, yeah, dude.
- 18:38Speaker 2: And I didn't say for not having too much weed.
- 18:41Speaker 1: For not smoking weed?
- 18:42Speaker 2: Yeah, Turla, sorry, it was Turla.
- 18:46Speaker 4: You know what I remembered by the way, because I
- 18:47Speaker 4: remember things in terms of arguments that we had in
- 18:50Speaker 4: the writer's room and stuff, and I remembered one moment
- 18:54Speaker 4: because there was a contingency of people in the writer's
- 18:58Speaker 4: room that thought that Turk was too mean to say,
- 19:02Speaker 4: carl I would never sleep with your sister, she's hideous.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Well, Danny's back and it's a funny so JD just
- 19:11Speaker 2: to remind him when because if she was to be different.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Story.
- 19:19Speaker 4: And by the way, they were correct, because remember the
- 19:22Speaker 4: argument the writers of the time was, aren't we eventually
- 19:24Speaker 4: going to have Carla's sisters on?
- 19:26Speaker 1: And we did?
- 19:27Speaker 4: You know, you guys got married eventually, and we had
- 19:29Speaker 4: those you know, you know what I mean.
- 19:30Speaker 1: So but none of them were hideous, though.
- 19:32Speaker 2: They were babes. So just to remind the audience if
- 19:36Speaker 2: you haven't watched the episode recently, that JD's just had
- 19:39Speaker 2: a one night stand with Elliott and Sean has arrived
- 19:42Speaker 2: at their door, and so.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Elli and has walked into their apartment.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, he walked in, and so JD, to try and
- 19:49Speaker 3: make Elliott jealous, gets back together with Danny. Now there's
- 19:52Speaker 3: a funny line. I thought I early on when j
- 19:55Speaker 3: D says our voiceover. When you run into someone used
- 19:57Speaker 3: to date, you either find them annoying or enough time
- 20:01Speaker 3: has passed that you've idealized everything about them.
- 20:04Speaker 2: I thought that was a.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Really good line, Bill, because I think everyone can relate
- 20:09Speaker 3: to that, like when you run, when you run into
- 20:11Speaker 3: an ex it's it's a there's a fork in the road.
- 20:13Speaker 3: It's like, are you still like or are you like, Oh,
- 20:17Speaker 3: maybe they weren't so bad after.
- 20:18Speaker 4: All, and maybe this maybe I made a huge mistake.
- 20:21Speaker 4: And then sometimes and that's what we were doing. Here,
- 20:24Speaker 4: you go, I made a huge mistake. It was a
- 20:26Speaker 4: different time, and you go, let's go out for drinks
- 20:28Speaker 4: and you have one nice night and then almost immediately
- 20:31Speaker 4: you're like, oh, no, no, this is the worst person
- 20:33Speaker 4: I've ever met.
- 20:36Speaker 2: He quickly doesn't like her.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I mean, he's just solely using her to try and
- 20:41Speaker 3: make Elliott jealous.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And not even to make Elliot jealous. Elliott doesn't remember her.
- 20:46Speaker 1: He says that he's back with her. He gets upstairs
- 20:49Speaker 1: and she's like, oh, Danny, Danny, Danny, Danny, what's your
- 20:52Speaker 1: last name again?
- 20:53Speaker 2: And you know I should know that.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I should know that. And the blonde hair, Oh, and
- 20:59Speaker 1: then blod Hair like they're both trying to figure out
- 21:06Speaker 1: who Danny is, Like, dude, I was so dude, this
- 21:09Speaker 1: is like this is like perfect stoner humor, Like if
- 21:12Speaker 1: you are, if you are listen, if you have the
- 21:15Speaker 1: humor of someone who giggles or gets confused, and then
- 21:19Speaker 1: it's like, what the fuck just happened? This is the
- 21:21Speaker 1: show for you at this point, man, because we are
- 21:24Speaker 1: off the rails man.
- 21:26Speaker 4: And there's a and there's a twenty person band in
- 21:29Speaker 4: the show.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I don't know, you know, Bill, I know you got
- 21:34Speaker 3: the a m A certification for most Realistic Medical Show,
- 21:37Speaker 3: but I don't know that Cox would live like a
- 21:40Speaker 3: band in the Ica.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Now, this one, by the way, worked backwards from the
- 21:43Speaker 4: song because you know, we always went search for songs.
- 21:45Speaker 4: We all loved that polyophonic band was so cool, right
- 21:48Speaker 4: and so kind of just such a vibe, and everybody
- 21:51Speaker 4: was like, screw it, let's figure out a way that
- 21:53Speaker 4: all bazillion of them are in here.
- 21:55Speaker 2: It was really like they were like there were like
- 21:57Speaker 2: they were like platforms like cosider I mean coxent arrange
- 22:01Speaker 2: for like a PA system that.
- 22:02Speaker 1: We're like, yeah, balloons dropped.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Adam Bernstein directed this, by the Way, and Mike Schwartz
- 22:11Speaker 3: is the name on the script. There's a very funny
- 22:14Speaker 3: scene where JD has sex with Danny, and you're contrasting
- 22:19Speaker 3: the episode before there's been this, like, you know, clearly
- 22:22Speaker 3: like making love, like JD and Elliott are like it's
- 22:25Speaker 3: like beautifully done, like they're so into each other. Then
- 22:28Speaker 3: in this episode, she she tells him that she likes
- 22:31Speaker 3: it rough, and he's like, I don't really, and she's
- 22:33Speaker 3: like she screams at him, and he slaps her across
- 22:37Speaker 3: the face and he screams back.
- 22:39Speaker 1: It looks like he punches her. It doesn't look like
- 22:41Speaker 1: he smacks her, and he.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Goes, oh my god. He goes, oh my god, Danny,
- 22:44Speaker 2: I'm so sorry. I thought that's what you wanted. And
- 22:45Speaker 2: she's like it is hard and squeezes his nibbles. It's
- 22:53Speaker 2: like a pro wrestling match in bed.
- 22:55Speaker 3: And then he comes out later and he's got air
- 22:58Speaker 3: shields are all puffy and read and he's cut scratch
- 23:02Speaker 3: marks across, just like us in a horror movie.
- 23:08Speaker 2: And she's by the way. She's smoking and he goes,
- 23:11Speaker 2: you didn't used to smoke. She goes, I like smoking
- 23:14Speaker 2: after sex and he goes and during.
- 23:17Speaker 1: And then she shrugs it off and she nods it off, like,
- 23:20Speaker 1: oh yeah.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Danny's smoking waller. But anyway, I have a question, Bill,
- 23:27Speaker 2: I think Tara.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Reid must have been a smoker. That must have been
- 23:30Speaker 3: the was that the inspiration for all this?
- 23:33Speaker 1: Tara Reid was a smoker?
- 23:36Speaker 2: She must she.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I think she.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I think she did being a dick sarcastic. Well, yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 2: so I think you wrote that in because I must.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Have said, like, you know, Terror is great and everything,
- 23:45Speaker 3: but cigarettes and the cigarette breast and everything, like I'm
- 23:48Speaker 3: sewn into that, and you guys must have been like, okay,
- 23:50Speaker 3: we're running there.
- 23:51Speaker 4: And by the way, let's you know, some props to
- 23:54Speaker 4: Terror Reid for being a young lady that embraced I'm like, hey,
- 23:58Speaker 4: let's do this ship that you just unapologetically this character.
- 24:02Speaker 4: She just went with it.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Man, It was really she She loved it, by the way.
- 24:04Speaker 3: She when we first had her on the show, she
- 24:06Speaker 3: was like, oh is this the one where I dresses
- 24:08Speaker 3: a cigarette?
- 24:08Speaker 2: That was hilarious. And so she was totally game and
- 24:11Speaker 2: so funny.
- 24:11Speaker 1: She had a lot of fun. You could tell she
- 24:13Speaker 1: was having a lot of fun.
- 24:13Speaker 3: The way when I make out with her as a
- 24:15Speaker 3: cigarette in the fantasy and then I exhale smokers, then.
- 24:26Speaker 2: It's so funny. But that's what it feels like to
- 24:27Speaker 2: make out with a smoker.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Did you guys, did you guys have conversations in the UH?
- 24:34Speaker 1: Because I I I this, This tripped me out. Also,
- 24:37Speaker 1: the janitor is now a security guard. But are we
- 24:41Speaker 1: still calling him the janitor in the show.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't even think it's the
- 24:46Speaker 2: Janitor's just Janet Janet Jana.
- 24:48Speaker 4: The best, you know, the best version of that for
- 24:50Speaker 4: all time is it's still and you guys now have
- 24:53Speaker 4: to look for it. Sarah Chalk's funniest line reading whenever
- 24:56Speaker 4: she's in a one on one scene with him.
- 24:58Speaker 1: She's Janitor, Janitor.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Every season it got highed, it was by by.
- 25:06Speaker 4: So I have to know, way I have to Daniel Joe,
- 25:09Speaker 4: you smokers.
- 25:11Speaker 1: For like a little bit in early college.
- 25:14Speaker 8: Literally the exact same when I thought it would.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Be to marijuana like sophomore here.
- 25:19Speaker 2: It never looked back. Did you ever smoked cigarettes? Bill?
- 25:22Speaker 1: No?
- 25:22Speaker 4: No, I was cool on my own. The UH.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Didn't need to pay money for my coolness.
- 25:34Speaker 1: But you have smoked a cigarette before.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I've done most everything before.
- 25:38Speaker 4: Donald.
- 25:39Speaker 2: I mean, let's be honest.
- 25:42Speaker 4: I'm an old man.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I don't go down that road with you.
- 25:47Speaker 3: I'm so one of one of the regrets of my
- 25:50Speaker 3: life is that I never met single partying Manhattan Bill.
- 25:54Speaker 3: I save it if I had a time machine, If
- 25:58Speaker 3: I had a time machine and I could Like, we're
- 25:59Speaker 3: watching a show called Dark on Netflix. Now it's all
- 26:01Speaker 3: about time too, and it's it's really interesting and I
- 26:06Speaker 3: recommend is it theory?
- 26:07Speaker 1: Is it theory?
- 26:09Speaker 2: What does that mean theory?
- 26:10Speaker 5: Like?
- 26:10Speaker 1: Does it make you have to think about theory or
- 26:12Speaker 1: or or.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Or It's very Yeah, I'm sure if you're smarter than
- 26:15Speaker 3: I am, you can you It's very deep and I
- 26:17Speaker 3: can't keep track of it. I have to pause and
- 26:19Speaker 3: be like to go to Florence and be like, wait,
- 26:21Speaker 3: who is he now? Because it's all jump it's jumping
- 26:24Speaker 3: lots of years.
- 26:25Speaker 1: No, but I mean, are they are they using are
- 26:27Speaker 1: they using time travel as a like? Are they can
- 26:33Speaker 1: theoretically explain how it's happening? You know what I mean?
- 26:35Speaker 1: Like and back to the future. They gave you an
- 26:38Speaker 1: excuse and it's easy to follow it because.
- 26:41Speaker 2: It's about wormholes. It's about wormholes. But it's one of
- 26:43Speaker 2: those shows.
- 26:44Speaker 3: It's a German show, and it's clearly written by very
- 26:46Speaker 3: very bright people, and and it's one of those shows
- 26:50Speaker 3: where I think, if you're super smart scientist, time travel person,
- 26:54Speaker 3: you can appreciate on a different level than I am.
- 26:56Speaker 3: I'm the one pausing asking my girlfriend, wait, what just happened?
- 26:59Speaker 3: Because but but anyway, I'm not. It's still really good.
- 27:01Speaker 3: It's like it's like Lost in a way, the show
- 27:03Speaker 3: Lost in a way in that it's very mysterious and good.
- 27:06Speaker 2: But I digress.
- 27:08Speaker 3: My sentence was, if I could time travel, I would
- 27:11Speaker 3: like to visit with single partying twenty something built in
- 27:15Speaker 3: New York City.
- 27:16Speaker 4: That you look. That's a lot like running in to
- 27:19Speaker 4: an ex girlfriend there to bring it all back, which
- 27:21Speaker 4: is now in retrospect their fun memories.
- 27:24Speaker 1: But there's there's.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Also the reality of like, oh my god, this guy's
- 27:28Speaker 4: relentlessly annoying. Why are you talking so fast?
- 27:31Speaker 2: Why is that bleached blonde hair guy talking so fast?
- 27:35Speaker 2: So I don't want to go to your party?
- 27:38Speaker 4: It's dude, I mean, he's not saying anything funny, but
- 27:44Speaker 4: he thinks he's really funny. Yeah, it's pretty bad, pretty bad, I've.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Heard, I've heard wonderful anecdotes. So the janitor says that
- 27:52Speaker 3: he has his own night stick, and he hasn't because
- 27:55Speaker 3: his father, Donald, you the best set up here was
- 27:58Speaker 3: the most classic alley l oops.
- 28:00Speaker 2: You guys like it. I'm using the term allion. Jannity goes,
- 28:04Speaker 2: you know, it's my fight, got this nice stick my
- 28:06Speaker 2: father And Donald goes, was he a police officer? And
- 28:08Speaker 2: he goes, No, he was a cat trainer.
- 28:17Speaker 4: By the way, no one was ever that happy, but
- 28:20Speaker 4: Neil Fuinn embraced it about we had a weird thing
- 28:24Speaker 4: with the janitor of there's a real intense dislike of
- 28:27Speaker 4: animals in there. And I don't know if you guys
- 28:30Speaker 4: noticed that he has a dead squirrel army. He made
- 28:33Speaker 4: a rabbit into a Sultan pepper shaker.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I think the rabbit was a pepper grinder, Bill,
- 28:40Speaker 3: because you would you would spin the rabbit's head. I
- 28:43Speaker 3: don't think you could make this joke in twenty twenty one, Bill.
- 28:45Speaker 1: But you'll think so.
- 28:46Speaker 5: Either.
- 28:46Speaker 3: The propmaster took a taxidermy bunny and I had put
- 28:53Speaker 3: it on a pepper grinder and just took off the
- 28:55Speaker 3: head so that the head would spin to grind.
- 28:57Speaker 2: That's one prop. I'd really liked that.
- 29:00Speaker 4: But also, I don't know if you remember, because I
- 29:04Speaker 4: could have This is a show I still feel like
- 29:07Speaker 4: I would watch today, even if I didn't sell it myself.
- 29:10Speaker 4: Once we established that Neil the Janitor had a squirrel army,
- 29:14Speaker 4: we would have taxi dermy squirrels in his garage. We
- 29:17Speaker 4: would occasionally just have him see a squirrel in a
- 29:19Speaker 4: different episode and he would make eye contact with it.
- 29:21Speaker 4: He's a wrong day, wrong time, my friend. He would
- 29:28Speaker 4: throw like a blanket over it, and then you would
- 29:30Speaker 4: always cut to him in his garage having meetings with
- 29:35Speaker 4: some taxi derby squirrels.
- 29:37Speaker 1: I would watch that all day.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Oh my god, I remember that episode where it cut
- 29:40Speaker 2: to him lecturing the taxim squirrels. So many of them, Yeah,
- 29:45Speaker 2: and a lot of them had different points.
- 29:47Speaker 4: And he would say, I understand that, Keith, but that's
- 29:49Speaker 4: not what we're doing right now.
- 29:51Speaker 3: They were all We got to have Neil back on Joel, Joel,
- 29:55Speaker 3: will you remind me, and let's let's let's find an
- 29:57Speaker 3: episode that's that he has a lot to do This
- 29:59Speaker 3: would have been a a funny one, but we got
- 30:02Speaker 3: to remember it.
- 30:03Speaker 1: He says. He says, you know, my, my, my dead
- 30:08Speaker 1: raised cats, trained cats. And then after that he's walking
- 30:12Speaker 1: away and I go, yeah, right, and he comes running
- 30:15Speaker 1: back in with this thick.
- 30:19Speaker 2: And then he says something like you guys stay, you guys,
- 30:22Speaker 2: stay here as though it's dangerous, and he walks off.
- 30:26Speaker 3: All right, So I wanted to say, so I have
- 30:30Speaker 3: sex with Danny. And then I come in the living
- 30:31Speaker 3: room and you guys are being all judgmental, and you go,
- 30:34Speaker 3: you know you're Danny's in there, and I'm like, no, no, no,
- 30:37Speaker 3: it's my buddy, my buddy from the gym, Danny, and
- 30:39Speaker 3: you go, I.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Heard you say take it all, Danny. And there's a
- 30:43Speaker 2: long pause and I go, he's a really good buddy.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Hey.
- 30:49Speaker 4: Awkward thing that I always have to do on my podcast.
- 30:51Speaker 4: We got to go to break right quick.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Bill, you're not supposed to read that.
- 30:56Speaker 9: That's for the hosts of the show.
- 30:59Speaker 1: You know what I was. I was trying to beat
- 31:01Speaker 1: him to it, but he beat me to it. I
- 31:04Speaker 1: just want to see to it.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Listen, you guys, we don't have many rules. The chat
- 31:08Speaker 3: is for the host Bill argue.
- 31:11Speaker 2: All right, Bill, send us break.
- 31:14Speaker 4: We'll be right back after this break.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Dude. I saw that coming. I was like, Yo, we
- 31:25Speaker 1: should go to I was about to say we should
- 31:27Speaker 1: go to break, and Bill beat me to it. And
- 31:29Speaker 1: then right.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Away the producer notes from the guests to it, because
- 31:36Speaker 3: occasionally we will have a guest with the audacity to
- 31:39Speaker 3: read the producer note.
- 31:41Speaker 1: Dude, because listen, this is how it was. I was
- 31:44Speaker 1: gonna punctuate your joke with and with that, We'll be
- 31:47Speaker 1: right back.
- 31:53Speaker 3: So then Danny, Danny comes in the living room and
- 31:55Speaker 3: she goes some skank just called and I told her
- 31:57Speaker 3: to back off. Her name is Deborah or whatever, and
- 32:00Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, that's my mom. So Phil, I have
- 32:07Speaker 3: to ask you you have it's a tricky thing for
- 32:10Speaker 3: you because you have your wife on the show and
- 32:15Speaker 3: Cox is telling there's like a thing where doctor Miller.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Cox has a crush on doctor Miller. But like that
- 32:20Speaker 3: would mean that his eye is straying from the glory
- 32:23Speaker 3: that is your beautiful wife.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Was that is that weird to write?
- 32:26Speaker 3: Like do you have to tell Christa Like, oh, just
- 32:28Speaker 3: see you know this week Cox is gonna have a
- 32:31Speaker 3: crush on someone other than you.
- 32:33Speaker 4: No, there's two things. One was I'll tell you the
- 32:36Speaker 4: funny one at the end. But the one thing was
- 32:39Speaker 4: we wanted to do like the mature female version of
- 32:43Speaker 4: where your Relationships at, which just acknowledging that, like people
- 32:46Speaker 4: find other people attractive people, you know, And so I
- 32:50Speaker 4: really liked that. I remember there's a joke in this
- 32:52Speaker 4: with like doctor Cox is like, if people ask me
- 32:53Speaker 4: if we're married, I say, no, what do you say?
- 32:56Speaker 2: Oh?
- 32:56Speaker 4: I say, we were married for a long time and
- 32:58Speaker 4: then we split up, but now we have a child
- 32:59Speaker 4: to get and we're in a committed relationship and it's
- 33:01Speaker 4: great and amazing, you know. And he's like, oh yeah,
- 33:03Speaker 4: and sometimes I say that. But the other joke, no
- 33:09Speaker 4: joke is christ and I used to joke around how
- 33:12Speaker 4: work is the only place I can tell her what
- 33:14Speaker 4: to dress and what to say and how to look
- 33:16Speaker 4: and stuff. And so part of this was me going
- 33:18Speaker 4: it might be sexy for christab blond hair. And so
- 33:23Speaker 4: the end of this episode, if you remember, was as
- 33:26Speaker 4: a wink to him. She kind of changed. She didn't
- 33:28Speaker 4: do it all the way and we had to help
- 33:30Speaker 4: it with a lighting effect, but she changes her hair
- 33:32Speaker 4: at the end of this, and I remember, just from
- 33:34Speaker 4: a total you know, in love husband thing, going, what
- 33:37Speaker 4: a cool, corny excuse to have my wife mix her
- 33:40Speaker 4: look up? And that was really fun for me.
- 33:42Speaker 2: That's fun cool. I was just thinking of Christa being like, no,
- 33:47Speaker 2: Cox is not going to have a crush on someone.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Yeah, no one, No one would think of anything. Yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 4: she keeps zack. She can't play that way. How many
- 33:53Speaker 4: times has Krista told you in front of me who
- 33:56Speaker 4: she is flat out in love with and believes that
- 33:59Speaker 4: she should have, you know, a free pass for unacceptable?
- 34:02Speaker 2: I remember, I don't know, did you tell the Clooney story?
- 34:04Speaker 7: How?
- 34:04Speaker 2: How?
- 34:04Speaker 5: Uh?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 34:06Speaker 2: That was one of our first big Fightsley was her Clooney?
- 34:12Speaker 2: Was her her hall pass? Quote unquote.
- 34:15Speaker 4: Chris and I when we were dating, joked around about like,
- 34:17Speaker 4: who's your free pass, you know, like if you run
- 34:19Speaker 4: into them, you're allowed to hook up with them without
- 34:21Speaker 4: the other person complaining. And I said, whoever mine was?
- 34:24Speaker 4: I even remember? And then Christa said George Coliney, which
- 34:27Speaker 4: a typical answer. So I didn't care, but I didn't
- 34:30Speaker 4: put it together that the Drew Carey Show and Er
- 34:32Speaker 4: were both Warner Brothers shows, and literally like a week later,
- 34:36Speaker 4: I came to work and she was sitting on her
- 34:38Speaker 4: trailer stairs with George Clooney having a coffee, and I'm like,
- 34:43Speaker 4: I'm like, you can't pick somebody that you see every day.
- 34:48Speaker 4: I feel like I feel like that's not part of
- 34:50Speaker 4: the game. And She's like, no, we were just doing
- 34:52Speaker 4: free passes. I'm like, no, it was so insane.
- 34:55Speaker 2: No, no, it would hit know your free pass. It
- 34:58Speaker 2: has to be like, that's unachievable.
- 35:00Speaker 4: Yeah, you can't just have come with a conversation from
- 35:03Speaker 4: your free pass and say, you know who my free
- 35:06Speaker 4: pass is?
- 35:09Speaker 1: Past? Who brought up the free pass?
- 35:11Speaker 7: Oh?
- 35:12Speaker 4: No, it might have been me?
- 35:12Speaker 1: So fuck.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Hey, Bill, this is my free past. George Clooney, he
- 35:20Speaker 2: speak of George Clooney. Bill. Do you think Richard Kine
- 35:22Speaker 2: would come on the show?
- 35:24Speaker 4: I do, and I think it would be super duper
- 35:26Speaker 4: fun you know, he's oh.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Right, Joelle, let's get Richard Kine because he's in three
- 35:31Speaker 3: twenty coming up, and he's so funny and I and
- 35:35Speaker 3: I think audience would love him. And it is a
- 35:39Speaker 3: bit of funny trivia that of all people in the world,
- 35:41Speaker 3: he's George Clooney's best friend. I would have gotten that
- 35:43Speaker 3: wrong on every quiz.
- 35:46Speaker 4: But by the way, never, you know, on a show
- 35:49Speaker 4: that we do so much with just the people that
- 35:51Speaker 4: live in our worlds, never has a guest star come
- 35:53Speaker 4: in and been somebody that we've all quoted so much.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Still, I've got yaba yea. I have been to the zoo.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Go on, I have been to two go on.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Continue continue.
- 36:04Speaker 4: That would make me, That would make me super happy
- 36:06Speaker 4: I have.
- 36:07Speaker 3: I just love that guy. I he's one of those
- 36:08Speaker 3: people that I see and I just start laughing.
- 36:12Speaker 2: He was on a show.
- 36:12Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys ever watched the show
- 36:14Speaker 3: that's very funny. There's only one season because of I
- 36:16Speaker 3: think they stopped because of COVID, but it was called
- 36:18Speaker 3: The the Other the other two? Is that what it's
- 36:21Speaker 3: called you, I'll double check for me. It's kind of
- 36:23Speaker 3: a thirty rock tone silliness. But it's about a kid
- 36:28Speaker 3: that becomes like a Justin Bieber superstar and his two
- 36:31Speaker 3: fuck up siblings, and Richard Kine plays one of their agents.
- 36:35Speaker 3: And you know, he just has a small part, but
- 36:37Speaker 3: every time he's on screen, you just started hysterically laughing.
- 36:41Speaker 4: That guy is money as his instant laughs and he
- 36:45Speaker 4: can really act.
- 36:46Speaker 1: About say, he's a really good actor too.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Yeah, rock star love that dude.
- 36:51Speaker 1: I was a little quot off guard that Kelso was
- 36:53Speaker 1: trying to sabotage the hospital until he explained why he
- 36:55Speaker 1: was sabotaged in the hospital. That was something that kind
- 36:58Speaker 1: of threw me, like when that was a dun dun
- 37:01Speaker 1: dum moment, and it like I was confused, and then
- 37:06Speaker 1: what do.
- 37:06Speaker 4: You mean he's trying to stabat the hospital and he
- 37:08Speaker 4: was he was taking the emergency thing off the door
- 37:11Speaker 4: because he gets to his car quicker.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Yeah, well it wasn't.
- 37:14Speaker 2: I remember his reason.
- 37:16Speaker 4: His reason is one of the most disturbing jokes we
- 37:19Speaker 4: ever made.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Ken say, you guys have to get home before enid
- 37:23Speaker 1: So because if he if he if he if he doesn't,
- 37:27Speaker 1: he has to peel her something leotard. He has to
- 37:34Speaker 1: get home. She's done the dance class or something like that, she.
- 37:37Speaker 4: Has a spin class or something, and if he doesn't
- 37:39Speaker 4: get home before her, he has to help peel off
- 37:42Speaker 4: her leotard.
- 37:43Speaker 2: And I think it was really.
- 37:46Speaker 4: It's really it's really an upsetting joke because you know,
- 37:49Speaker 4: why because he loves Enid. Man, we did that joke
- 37:51Speaker 4: too many times. I think he loves his wife.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I don't think whether he loves it. He has so
- 37:55Speaker 2: much mean things to say about Enid.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Yeah, like I don't think.
- 38:00Speaker 4: By the way, the worst one ever was when that
- 38:04Speaker 4: Baxter and Enid had divided the house into equal size
- 38:07Speaker 4: and Enid had ventured into Baxter's side of the house
- 38:10Speaker 4: and he just said, he just said, all you got
- 38:13Speaker 4: to do is scare him away, is make a real aggressive,
- 38:15Speaker 4: sudden move. He says, go, and then you just hear
- 38:18Speaker 4: a dog growling and biting and he hangs up laughing.
- 38:20Speaker 4: So he had his y, his dog attacker.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Horrible, horrible buddy.
- 38:29Speaker 2: But does he love Enid Bill, I just don't know.
- 38:31Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know what.
- 38:33Speaker 4: The Yeah, you know what's weird. We talked a lot
- 38:36Speaker 4: about it. I think he we never would have been
- 38:39Speaker 4: able to do any of this stuff. It's so interesting
- 38:40Speaker 4: in television shows. If Enid existed, and if you ever
- 38:43Speaker 4: saw a person, a sweet woman, a character or whatever,
- 38:46Speaker 4: I don't think I think we would immediately go and
- 38:48Speaker 4: he loves her. They're okay, and he is all full
- 38:52Speaker 4: of shit, But with a second. In any type of
- 38:56Speaker 4: creative narrative that you don't ever meet the person in question,
- 38:59Speaker 4: it gives you such license to be horrific or funny
- 39:03Speaker 4: or bizarre and stuff. So it's not unlike, Look, you
- 39:06Speaker 4: guys know the show that started. I mean, it's it's
- 39:08Speaker 4: Norman Vera.
- 39:09Speaker 2: And Cheers, right exactly.
- 39:12Speaker 4: The only one I remember after Norm and Vera from
- 39:14Speaker 4: Cheers was I remember the guy on Home Improvement, which
- 39:18Speaker 4: I didn't watch a lot. They did such great effort
- 39:20Speaker 4: to always block his face.
- 39:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I forget what his name was. What was his name,
- 39:26Speaker 2: Daniel Wilson. Wilson was, Yes Wilson was the guy behind
- 39:30Speaker 2: the fence, Yes Wilson. Anyway, it is called The Other
- 39:33Speaker 2: Two Guys. I found it now that my friend Helena
- 39:36Speaker 2: York is on it. I highly recommend you guys watch.
- 39:39Speaker 2: I laughed my ass off and I thought, I wish
- 39:41Speaker 2: there was more episodes, but there. I guess they're on
- 39:43Speaker 2: pause because of.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Are Jordan and Cox married at this point?
- 39:47Speaker 4: They are not, but I have to be careful about
- 39:50Speaker 4: that because we do an episode at some point they
- 39:53Speaker 4: find out that their divorce wasn't official, so they get
- 39:55Speaker 4: redivorced and if you guys haven't done that episode yet,
- 39:59Speaker 4: then they are technically still married. Do you guys remember
- 40:02Speaker 4: doing a podcast on that episode?
- 40:03Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I actually know.
- 40:06Speaker 3: When Bellamy came in, I went, oh, is this going
- 40:08Speaker 3: to be a love interest for Cox and Donald was like, no,
- 40:10Speaker 3: he's not. He's in a relationship with with Jordan. And
- 40:14Speaker 3: then and then this episode started to be like, oh,
- 40:16Speaker 3: but they start to have a thing. I didn't remember
- 40:17Speaker 3: what happened between the.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Yeah, you know.
- 40:19Speaker 4: What it was is just that we enjoyed for him
- 40:21Speaker 4: doing a you know, as he gets closer to Jordan,
- 40:26Speaker 4: that very traditional, lots of fears and lots of pulling away.
- 40:30Speaker 4: So much so it's the precursor to the episode. This
- 40:33Speaker 4: episode helped us with the episode that they're doing great
- 40:36Speaker 4: as a couple, but when they find out that they
- 40:38Speaker 4: aren't actually divorced, that it was screwed up and they're
- 40:40Speaker 4: still technically married, they start to fall apart again. And
- 40:42Speaker 4: that's coming up later.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Is that what this is a question, is that what
- 40:47Speaker 1: the purpose of Bellamy's character was on the show. It
- 40:50Speaker 1: just seems like that character was there and then all
- 40:53Speaker 1: of a sudden she was gone. Like really no, you
- 40:56Speaker 1: know what it was is uh?
- 40:58Speaker 4: I think and I can go back, but I think Bellamy,
- 41:01Speaker 4: you know, started much like gift Shop Girl I remember
- 41:04Speaker 4: her name, that got a bunch of work on Chuck
- 41:05Speaker 4: and stuff. Sarah Lancaster Is just was somebody that immediately
- 41:09Speaker 4: started to get work and get other shows. I think
- 41:12Speaker 4: she joined us because Charles was unavailable and we liked
- 41:17Speaker 4: you having a superior Charles Chung. You know, we played
- 41:20Speaker 4: doctor when we didn't have him for one year section
- 41:24Speaker 4: at one point due to health issue that he had
- 41:26Speaker 4: an accident and broken in one point due to him
- 41:28Speaker 4: doing a movie or something, and then he came back
- 41:31Speaker 4: to our world. So it was at least initially a
- 41:33Speaker 4: product of be nice for.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Turk to have a.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Boss, you know.
- 41:39Speaker 2: And then you.
- 41:41Speaker 4: Know, we weren't really going to do the romance thing
- 41:43Speaker 4: because Cox was with Jordan just wanted to have that
- 41:45Speaker 4: kind of be an episode real quick.
- 41:46Speaker 3: And also she was a good foil for Cox because
- 41:48Speaker 3: even if there wasn't going to be a romance or
- 41:50Speaker 3: a very mild one, she was like a tough cookie
- 41:53Speaker 3: and a woman and someone who had you know.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Some biggest titties. Wait, that's what that's what That's what
- 42:04Speaker 1: Turk says when he's freaking in the thing with titties,
- 42:08Speaker 1: he goes in some big ass boobies. That's exactly what
- 42:11Speaker 1: he says.
- 42:12Speaker 3: I don't think I think you could say boobies on NBC,
- 42:14Speaker 3: but not titties.
- 42:16Speaker 1: And joke up.
- 42:18Speaker 4: I was about to say it should come hand in
- 42:21Speaker 4: hand with the disapproving headshake you got from Joel.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Either way, it was fantastic, but that's what it was from.
- 42:28Speaker 1: You guys are thinking, I'm trying to freaking make a
- 42:31Speaker 1: sexist joke. But it's from the show.
- 42:33Speaker 2: It's from the show Your Face.
- 42:36Speaker 4: You know what I love, by the way, and Bellamy
- 42:37Speaker 4: is a great example of it. I always love when
- 42:40Speaker 4: I because of you guys, and I am so grateful.
- 42:42Speaker 1: And it's your.
- 42:43Speaker 4: Podcast, which is annoying. It's Dan l Joel's and Donald's podcast.
- 42:50Speaker 2: It's Zach Zach's and Zach's and Zach's.
- 42:54Speaker 4: And I'm so grateful to get to occasionally come on
- 42:56Speaker 4: it and see it and talk to talk to you
- 42:58Speaker 4: guys about and listen to it. I go to sleep
- 42:59Speaker 4: with into it. One of my favorite things that my
- 43:02Speaker 4: favorite thing about watching these old episodes are we when
- 43:05Speaker 4: you see actors and actresses that we caught at a
- 43:08Speaker 4: certain point in their lives, their careers, not like Richard
- 43:11Speaker 4: Kind who had already done a bunch of stuff, like
- 43:13Speaker 4: Bellamy who had gone to become you knows, yeah you
- 43:17Speaker 4: know what I mean. So, or Sarah Lancaster who was
- 43:20Speaker 4: suddenly you know, or Massi you know, who was on.
- 43:23Speaker 2: In Heroes, or d Franco or.
- 43:27Speaker 4: To me, that's so fun, you know, to see the
- 43:29Speaker 4: people that can you know, crossed our world and then
- 43:31Speaker 4: went on to not necessarily bigger and better things, but
- 43:34Speaker 4: is kind of more fun for themselves career, know, and
- 43:39Speaker 4: to see him get his foot in the door like
- 43:41Speaker 4: that and then to do what he did with it.
- 43:45Speaker 2: But it was fun, man, That's why.
- 43:47Speaker 4: That's why they like seeing bell It's fun.
- 43:49Speaker 1: It really is interesting the people that were on Scrubs,
- 43:52Speaker 1: Like you guys probably don't remember this, but what's the
- 43:55Speaker 1: gentleman's name that's married to Sophia Bogara?
- 43:59Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, he was a football play and dude
- 44:01Speaker 4: that tortured Zach.
- 44:03Speaker 1: He was on Scrubs. He had he was on Scrubs before.
- 44:06Speaker 4: He was in True Blood.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he was in True Blood. He wasn't in
- 44:09Speaker 1: True Blood yet either. I ran into him.
- 44:11Speaker 4: Before No, no, I mean after that after.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Yeah, he went to Ganello.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Yeah, he was in a segment where I he was
- 44:21Speaker 3: like a jock, right and he was He said something
- 44:23Speaker 3: like let's all go bang or something like like they
- 44:26Speaker 3: turned out they were what the joke was.
- 44:28Speaker 4: Yeah, and uh, I remember seeing him on that show
- 44:31Speaker 4: as a young dude.
- 44:32Speaker 2: Uh.
- 44:33Speaker 4: You know, it's just it's just fun with all these
- 44:35Speaker 4: people that kind of cross pass that way. Eliza kop
- 44:37Speaker 4: who went on to star in nine Thousand Different Things.
- 44:40Speaker 4: I think we were one of our first gigs, you know.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Mh.
- 44:43Speaker 4: She was awesome. Just makes me happy.
- 44:47Speaker 3: So JD just really, you know, there's this one little
- 44:50Speaker 3: subplot we could talk about about how j D and
- 44:52Speaker 3: Danny are staying together solely because they don't want to
- 44:55Speaker 3: be alone. And I think that there's probably a lot
- 44:57Speaker 3: of people can relate to that, maybe now more than
- 45:00Speaker 3: during a pandemic, when they're just like, all right, I'm
- 45:02Speaker 3: so over you, but you're just you're my pandemic buddy.
- 45:05Speaker 3: I can't date anybody else. Dooms Dane give him a
- 45:13Speaker 3: booms but you're.
- 45:15Speaker 4: You're totally right though, Zach And look, this episode was
- 45:19Speaker 4: supposed to be joky, but because you asked about the
- 45:21Speaker 4: doctor Cox, I distinctly remember, especially since we had Donald
- 45:26Speaker 4: and Judy being the couple attached that hip. Tell everybody
- 45:29Speaker 4: why they suck is we were trying to parallel all
- 45:32Speaker 4: those things of one universal being alone, you'll almost rather
- 45:36Speaker 4: be with somebody horrific than be alone with two. If
- 45:40Speaker 4: you aren't alone, you're able to also defeat yourself by going,
- 45:44Speaker 4: oh my god, I'm getting more and more dependent on
- 45:46Speaker 4: this person. I need to sabotage it immediately, doctor Cox,
- 45:49Speaker 4: you know what I mean. And it's it's.
- 45:52Speaker 3: And then Elliot and then the other thing, which is like, oh,
- 45:55Speaker 3: we're long distance, so we barely ever see each other,
- 45:57Speaker 3: so we can be we can be exciting and and
- 46:00Speaker 3: and and into it in two week intervals, because who
- 46:03Speaker 3: can't be their best self for two week intervals? You
- 46:05Speaker 3: know they were, There were like all these different examples.
- 46:08Speaker 3: But I feel like a lot of people can relate
- 46:10Speaker 3: to being in something and feeling stuck and and I
- 46:15Speaker 3: bet now more than ever where they're just like, ugh,
- 46:18Speaker 3: I don't want to be alone.
- 46:20Speaker 1: So even though you think it's do you think it's
- 46:22Speaker 1: that or do you think it's because a lot of
- 46:24Speaker 1: people fear confrontation, and that's something that you just don't
- 46:28Speaker 1: want to deal with.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Confrontation, I'm sure, And and and the drama of a
- 46:33Speaker 3: of a breakup, which is always horrible, especially if it's
- 46:36Speaker 3: a long relationship. But I just think that there's a
- 46:40Speaker 3: lot of people who and now, like I said, now
- 46:43Speaker 3: more than ever because of the pandemic, are kind of like,
- 46:45Speaker 3: all right, this has to end, but like this is
- 46:48Speaker 3: fine for now, and I'm just going to endure it.
- 46:51Speaker 3: And yeah, I don't want to be alone. I don't
- 46:52Speaker 3: want to be alone. And I think that JD, and
- 46:54Speaker 3: I think JD in this situation is like the love
- 46:57Speaker 3: of my life, I've realized, is making out with a
- 46:59Speaker 3: guy that looks like Scott Foley and she seems so
- 47:01Speaker 3: happy and here I am and I've got Danny and
- 47:05Speaker 3: she's just so not for me. But I don't want
- 47:07Speaker 3: to be alone, so she's fine.
- 47:08Speaker 4: You know, it would be bad for Donald and I
- 47:11Speaker 4: to agree with this in any way as too happily
- 47:14Speaker 4: married guy.
- 47:17Speaker 1: I don't think that's what I honestly don't think that's
- 47:20Speaker 1: what it is. I think, yeah, sure, he doesn't want
- 47:22Speaker 1: to be alone, but he keeps telling her to go away,
- 47:25Speaker 1: you know what I mean, And so it's not really
- 47:27Speaker 1: he doesn't want to be alone. It's just that I don't.
- 47:30Speaker 4: I don't.
- 47:31Speaker 1: It's it's it's hard to explain, like, I don't. I
- 47:35Speaker 1: don't know. I think the pressure of her being around
- 47:40Speaker 1: I don't. I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't.
- 47:43Speaker 1: I don't know the answer to that, but I do
- 47:46Speaker 1: know that it's really weird for him to say I
- 47:50Speaker 1: don't want to be alone and then tell her to
- 47:52Speaker 1: go away.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Well, because he finally has enough.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I mean, she's no, no, no, I mean why, I
- 47:56Speaker 1: mean while before that, before, like, they're at the bar
- 48:00Speaker 1: and he's like, and this is how the whole conversation
- 48:02Speaker 1: comes up. They're at the bar and he goes, hey,
- 48:04Speaker 1: you want to play darts? And she's like yeah. He's like,
- 48:06Speaker 1: all right, go over there, there's the border.
- 48:08Speaker 2: He over there darts, Yeah, all right, it's over there.
- 48:13Speaker 1: And she turns around and she's like and she's like,
- 48:15Speaker 1: do you really have that? Are you really that miserable
- 48:19Speaker 1: when you're around me? And he's like, I don't know whatever.
- 48:22Speaker 1: She says something like that. He's like, I don't know,
- 48:25Speaker 1: and that's how the conversation starts. So I don't know
- 48:27Speaker 1: if it's that he's alone, he's scared to be alone
- 48:31Speaker 1: because he keeps telling how to get the fuck out
- 48:33Speaker 1: of here.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Well, one thing I like about Danny is she says
- 48:35Speaker 3: something that I that I liked, which is when she's
- 48:39Speaker 3: smoking in bed, he goes.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Well, you never used to smoke, Like, what's going on?
- 48:42Speaker 3: She goes, well, I before me dated, I was trying
- 48:44Speaker 3: to be like my best self and I'm putting on
- 48:45Speaker 3: like this character for you. But this time I think
- 48:47Speaker 3: I'm just gonna be like unabashedly myself. And and JD's like,
- 48:52Speaker 3: sees who this incarnation of a person is. He wants
- 48:55Speaker 3: nothing to do with it. But you know, I think
- 48:57Speaker 3: it's just fueled by by feeling insecure or looking over
- 49:00Speaker 3: at Elliott and and want and trying to make Elliott jealous,
- 49:03Speaker 3: not wanting to go home and be sad and lonesome.
- 49:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and by the way, let's be honest, it's I
- 49:09Speaker 4: think there's a line. It's easy to be with somebody
- 49:14Speaker 4: that you with if you're not mistreating them. Or they're
- 49:17Speaker 4: not mistreating you. It's easy to be with someone you
- 49:19Speaker 4: don't like. You know, there's nothing really at stake, you know,
- 49:22Speaker 4: And I guarantee you between the five of us, we
- 49:25Speaker 4: were all at some point in our lives with a
- 49:26Speaker 4: relationship with somebody that we didn't you know, if some
- 49:30Speaker 4: part of the gun to our head and said do
- 49:32Speaker 4: you care if this ends?
- 49:33Speaker 2: That we'd be like nah, no. But it's just do
- 49:36Speaker 2: you think when the pandemic do you think when the
- 49:38Speaker 2: pandemic's over, like truly over, there's just going to be
- 49:41Speaker 2: a slew of divorces and breakups.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Absolutely, I'm surprised you haven't happened yet.
- 49:46Speaker 2: No, I'm sure. I'm sure it is happy.
- 49:48Speaker 3: I bet if you saw a graph of like separation
- 49:50Speaker 3: divorce rates, so it's climbing. But I just think, like,
- 49:52Speaker 3: it's obviously not going to happen on a day. But
- 49:54Speaker 3: if it happened, they were like October first, we have
- 49:57Speaker 3: officially conquered COVID.
- 49:59Speaker 2: It's over. October Second, people be like peace that's around,
- 50:02Speaker 2: by the.
- 50:03Speaker 4: Way, should someone should do? Like a New Yorker cartoon
- 50:06Speaker 4: of a married couple getting their vaccines together, and she's
- 50:09Speaker 4: like he is like, finally the vaccine, and she's like,
- 50:12Speaker 4: I want a divorce, all.
- 50:17Speaker 3: Right, Joelle, we probably need to go to break. I know,
- 50:19Speaker 3: I know it's Bill's job to tell everyone.
- 50:22Speaker 4: And Bill, you have got a couple more second we
- 50:24Speaker 4: got we got a couple more seconds for break. Bill,
- 50:26Speaker 4: you have to go, I do, I do have to go.
- 50:30Speaker 4: I have to go, guys, I have to go make
- 50:32Speaker 4: television happen.
- 50:33Speaker 1: I was about to say, how many shows you got
- 50:34Speaker 1: coming this year?
- 50:35Speaker 4: A bunch of shows coming?
- 50:38Speaker 2: Read the next time.
- 50:39Speaker 3: If everyone not in the business. Deadline is the is
- 50:41Speaker 3: sort of the most popular trade website and uh and
- 50:44Speaker 3: it announces things that have happened to people. And if
- 50:47Speaker 3: a day goes by without Bill Lawrence getting another show,
- 50:49Speaker 3: I think Deadline's broken.
- 50:51Speaker 2: It's crash.
- 50:52Speaker 4: I'll do that some other time with you, guys.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I'm enjoying this.
- 50:55Speaker 4: Vibe too much and the holidays and Zach, that was
- 50:57Speaker 4: a very nice present you got. Donald and Donald A
- 50:59Speaker 4: love to the joke version of it.
- 51:03Speaker 3: But I'm proud of you Donald that in front of Bill,
- 51:05Speaker 3: you sold the ship out of that joke and fooled me.
- 51:07Speaker 2: That's a great moment, but it was mean you don't
- 51:09Speaker 2: know how much fucking work I put into getting those shoes.
- 51:12Speaker 1: Can I tell you? Can I tell you? This is
- 51:14Speaker 1: why my wife and Bill are like soulmates from another
- 51:18Speaker 1: universe and it will never happen in this universe. Bill,
- 51:20Speaker 1: I'm just put it out there, but there's so many
- 51:22Speaker 1: it's from another universe.
- 51:24Speaker 2: Why she would do that ship She's the.
- 51:26Speaker 1: One that told me to do it. I was like this, yeah, mean,
- 51:31Speaker 1: she was like me and I know, And when she
- 51:33Speaker 1: said that, I was like, That's something Bill would have
- 51:35Speaker 1: told me to do.
- 51:35Speaker 2: That's so mean, you know Bill.
- 51:37Speaker 3: I always say to Bill and Christa that they met
- 51:39Speaker 3: at mean camp because they love a mean They love
- 51:42Speaker 3: a mean joke.
- 51:43Speaker 4: But if you have a backboard of love, if you
- 51:46Speaker 4: know it comes from a place of love, it's okay. Look,
- 51:49Speaker 4: I also want to say, not only am I grateful
- 51:50Speaker 4: for this podcast, but I do want to tell Donald
- 51:52Speaker 4: and Joel that my son Henry, who is you know,
- 51:55Speaker 4: as much of a Star Wars Psychotic as as as
- 51:59Speaker 4: you all did, take the time as he was building
- 52:03Speaker 4: his lego Baby Yoda to say, even though he's not
- 52:07Speaker 4: super down with this podcast, he would definitely make the
- 52:13Speaker 4: Star Wars podcast a weekly thing.
- 52:16Speaker 2: In his life.
- 52:17Speaker 1: So thank you so much.
- 52:21Speaker 2: I'm what I am. I'm mad by the way.
- 52:25Speaker 4: It hurt my heart.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Zach.
- 52:28Speaker 4: He I like him though, because he watched Scrubs beginning
- 52:31Speaker 4: to end, and my eldest son will not only will
- 52:34Speaker 4: we not watch it, but it's a position of pride
- 52:35Speaker 4: he's now because he's already gone through the office and
- 52:38Speaker 4: parks and rec and now he's just finding, like other
- 52:40Speaker 4: series at the time to watch. I'm like, dude, watch Scrubs.
- 52:45Speaker 2: But he does.
- 52:45Speaker 3: But they both love but they both are are are
- 52:48Speaker 3: jocks and they both love Ted Lasso.
- 52:51Speaker 4: I assume they got sucked in by Ted Lasso because
- 52:53Speaker 4: it's sports. But anyways, Happy holiday, Happy New Year, Thank
- 52:57Speaker 4: you guys.
- 52:58Speaker 2: I love you, I'm back, I love you Bill and
- 53:00Speaker 2: gonna go to break and we'll be back and we're
- 53:08Speaker 2: bad and we're by the way.
- 53:12Speaker 3: I Peloton today and I got to say, Cody had
- 53:15Speaker 3: me laughing my ass off.
- 53:17Speaker 1: He's which one did you do?
- 53:19Speaker 3: I did one to Its pretty recent if you're on Peloton,
- 53:22Speaker 3: it's within a couple of weeks or it's definitely it
- 53:26Speaker 3: might even be this year. I don't know, but it
- 53:27Speaker 3: was a it was a you know pop ride, you
- 53:31Speaker 3: know pop music ride thirty minutes and he just had
- 53:34Speaker 3: me laughing. And where Florence are in the gym, She's
- 53:37Speaker 3: looking over me and I'm spinning. She's like, why are
- 53:39Speaker 3: you laughing? I'm like, this guy is hilarious.
- 53:41Speaker 2: He's funny.
- 53:42Speaker 1: He makes me laugh.
- 53:43Speaker 2: I think you should have I think we should him
- 53:44Speaker 2: on the podcast.
- 53:45Speaker 1: I would love to have Cody on the podcast.
- 53:47Speaker 3: Because you know what I wouldn't normally like just think
- 53:49Speaker 3: of a random health, you know, fitness instructor.
- 53:52Speaker 2: But because I think he was a stand up.
- 53:54Speaker 1: Is that his thing? Is that what he did?
- 53:56Speaker 3: I think he was a stand up. By the way,
- 53:58Speaker 3: I loved that I before I took a lot of
- 53:59Speaker 3: Cody claps. That's his question that he might be gay
- 54:01Speaker 3: or not, because this class he's the gayest gay ever.
- 54:05Speaker 2: It's so funny.
- 54:06Speaker 3: He's talking about Vegas and he's like, because he was
- 54:09Speaker 3: playing that song Waking Up in Vegas, Miley Cyrus is
- 54:12Speaker 3: that the song? And he's talking about how as a
- 54:16Speaker 3: gay guy, He's like, Vegas is not made for me,
- 54:18Speaker 3: because you know it's all about they give all the
- 54:21Speaker 3: hot chicks free entrance into the club, and they're trying
- 54:23Speaker 3: to make me pay forty bucks and I ain't trying
- 54:25Speaker 3: to pay forty bucks to get in the club. And
- 54:27Speaker 3: he went on this, he went in this whole rant.
- 54:30Speaker 3: It was so funny. Anyway, there were different things. There
- 54:32Speaker 3: were multiple times was like, you're you guys, you're working
- 54:35Speaker 3: out and you're sweating your ass off, but you're also
- 54:37Speaker 3: laughing because the guy's like a former stand up comedian.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Well, a lot of people listen to fake doctors when
- 54:42Speaker 1: they work out, so we don't want them to necessarily,
- 54:44Speaker 1: uh switch over to Cody when they're working out.
- 54:48Speaker 2: I wonder if Cody is the I wonder if Cody
- 54:51Speaker 2: is the most used teacher.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Probably. I think the only way to probably, I think
- 54:58Speaker 1: the only way to make this work if we can
- 55:00Speaker 1: get him on the show.
- 55:01Speaker 2: We can get him. Well, I want to try and
- 55:02Speaker 2: get Cody. I think his last name is Rigsby.
- 55:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 55:05Speaker 3: Oh, And then he did this whole bit about he
- 55:07Speaker 3: had Celine dianas one of the songs, and then he
- 55:08Speaker 3: had this whole bit about how like I could see
- 55:11Speaker 3: myself listen to this. I'm back in high school. I'm
- 55:14Speaker 3: back in high school. Tell mom to pull the cassette
- 55:16Speaker 3: out of the glove box anyway. I mean, I'm not
- 55:19Speaker 3: I'm not doing a justice, but it was funny.
- 55:22Speaker 2: The only thing that annoys me? Does this annoy you?
- 55:24Speaker 3: All the shout outs to people, like while you're spending
- 55:27Speaker 3: they're like so and so, congrats on your hundred's ride,
- 55:30Speaker 3: so and so you got this.
- 55:31Speaker 2: Like but it's like we're quiet time.
- 55:34Speaker 1: But it's like we do here man, you know what
- 55:36Speaker 1: I mean, we shout out, you know to people like
- 55:39Speaker 1: you know period and sergeant and you know rom Me
- 55:46Speaker 1: and you just.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Give Mitt Romney a shout out ramone. Yeah, I know.
- 55:51Speaker 3: I was stink by the way as I was spinning
- 55:53Speaker 3: and thinking this was annoying me.
- 55:54Speaker 1: Oh you thought I meant Mitt Romney. Yeah, no Romney Malco. Dude,
- 55:58Speaker 1: No I would.
- 56:00Speaker 2: I don't get but I wanted to say that.
- 56:03Speaker 3: No, it just annoys me, Like sometimes like it's okay
- 56:05Speaker 3: to be quiet, you know, you don't have to give
- 56:07Speaker 3: all the shout outs. But I'm gonna tell that when
- 56:09Speaker 3: we have Cody on the show, I'm gonna give him notes.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Don't even though it's even though he's probably the most
- 56:13Speaker 3: popular pelotons.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Please do not do that. Don't give Cody notes.
- 56:17Speaker 3: You know, Tony constructive criticism. You don't have to give
- 56:19Speaker 3: all these people shout outs. My senses, they would have data.
- 56:22Speaker 2: That's that. People say they like the shout outs, but
- 56:24Speaker 2: it's annoying. I think it's annoying.
- 56:26Speaker 1: Like you know, if you if you reached your ten
- 56:30Speaker 1: thousandth ride.
- 56:31Speaker 2: Right, these people must be in such shape because.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Ten thousand, it's like years.
- 56:38Speaker 3: You can look on the leaderboard and it'll show you,
- 56:40Speaker 3: like I you can make it go away because I don't.
- 56:42Speaker 3: I don't like looking at it. But if you're if
- 56:44Speaker 3: you're someone who's probably like Casey, who's.
- 56:46Speaker 1: Like up there, she tries to get to the top
- 56:47Speaker 1: of the leader.
- 56:48Speaker 3: Yeah, these people, I can't believe how fast and how
- 56:51Speaker 3: hard they must be spinning to be at the top
- 56:53Speaker 3: of that leaderboard. Because I'm like in the fucking nether regions,
- 56:56Speaker 3: I like in outer space.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Like whoever's number one or number two?
- 57:01Speaker 3: Yet it's probably like it's probably what's his name with
- 57:05Speaker 3: the professional that want on you?
- 57:07Speaker 1: Lance Armstrong? Lance arm Strong with all of his fucking
- 57:10Speaker 1: steroids in him.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Lance can't compete anymore, but he's just fucking voided
- 57:15Speaker 2: up on the pelotone, beating his chest, beating his chest.
- 57:23Speaker 2: All right, let's let the guests in, Daniel Goodman, all.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Right, let's give it up for to scrap.
- 57:37Speaker 2: All right, there she is. Oprah, Okay, Oprah. Come on, Daniel,
- 57:55Speaker 2: you're gonna cut that out. That was so annoying. People
- 57:58Speaker 2: are gonna turn off the podcast.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Daniel. I'm not turning my key. Don't cut that damn out.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Tom makes it way low.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Don't turn your key, Tosh, don't turn your keysh turn
- 58:08Speaker 1: your key. Don't turn Here's the problem.
- 58:12Speaker 3: Here's the problem, Daniel, is that I'm worried that Tosh
- 58:15Speaker 3: is not going to get hurt by as many people
- 58:18Speaker 3: because at that moment they're all going to go, fuck
- 58:19Speaker 3: this loud ass podcast.
- 58:22Speaker 5: I think I can actually give Donald a run for
- 58:24Speaker 5: his money.
- 58:24Speaker 2: I'm pretty okay, Well, we'll just mix it low. Then
- 58:29Speaker 2: you're welcome. You're welcome, Tosh, Welcome to the show. Where
- 58:31Speaker 2: are you? Where are you joining us from? I'm from Australia,
- 58:35Speaker 2: Oh down Under?
- 58:37Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, good day mate.
- 58:39Speaker 2: What time is it tomorrow?
- 58:41Speaker 5: That's correct, Yeah, it's Saturday morning here, it's.
- 58:44Speaker 1: Nine in the morning.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Yeah, welcome to the show. Scrubs was very popular down under.
- 58:49Speaker 2: Donald. I don't know if you know that.
- 58:50Speaker 3: It was, Yes, very popular into Sydney, and I feel very,
- 58:55Speaker 3: very very important in Sydney.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I went and hung out in Australia way before I
- 59:01Speaker 1: got Scrubs. It was for remember the Titans. We went
- 59:04Speaker 1: and did press in Australia, and I found out that
- 59:06Speaker 1: Clueless was pretty popular in Australia too.
- 59:09Speaker 2: Yes, they have a good sense of humor down down there.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, I love Australia. I swam into Sydney Harbor,
- 59:19Speaker 1: which is crazy because I hear this, it's loaded with sharks.
- 59:22Speaker 2: I don't think you're supposed to swim in Sydney Harbor.
- 59:24Speaker 2: It's for boats. Why are you swimming?
- 59:26Speaker 1: Well, we were going to you know that little island
- 59:28Speaker 1: that's you know that little island that's like right outside
- 59:31Speaker 1: of the Sydney Harbor. We took a boat ride and
- 59:34Speaker 1: anchored like off the shore of that and I jumped
- 59:37Speaker 1: into the water and swam to the island and hung
- 59:39Speaker 1: out on the island and.
- 59:41Speaker 3: By the island. It was okay, But I don't know
- 59:42Speaker 3: if you want to like jump in Sydney.
- 59:44Speaker 2: Harbor I don't know.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I learned that. I learned that that water is infested
- 59:47Speaker 1: with sharks, like not a fact, Like it's like shark heaven,
- 59:51Speaker 1: Like you know, if if it were to happen, if
- 59:55Speaker 1: my fear of dying by shark were to happen, that
- 59:57Speaker 1: was that was it right there, That was the closest
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: ants I got to it. Like I remember swimming through
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: the waves and back to the boat from the beach
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: and thinking all I was going to see was a
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: big mouth coming from one of the waves to eat me. Man.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: It was like, I was so afraid.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: But there was that in the Bahamas.
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: When we did the Bahamas episode, we went we went
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: swimming at night, like skinny dipping drunk, and the people
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: were like, oh my god, you guys, that is the
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: prime shark feeding time.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Like no, Rob said that there's two black tip sharks
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: that swim in the in the in the at the
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: beach area during that time. The reason why people were
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: clowning us was because it was a thunder and lightning
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: storm outside and we were in the water acting. We
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: were so.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: Freaking drunk in sar in water.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: And shark infested waters with a lightning storm happening and
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: we're laughing and everything, and that's how that Also, that's
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: what happened with Randall and his foot too.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: Yeah, just say no to alcohol, kids, All right, Tosh,
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: what's your question for for any of us? Welcome, welcome, welcome, Hello, Hello, well,
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: thank you.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: How are you guys going happy? We're okay, We're okay,
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: We're glad to be here.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: Yeah. Good.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: How is it over there? You guys? You guys are
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: out and about though, right, you're not on lockdown, are you? Ah?
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: Well, some of our some states are so Queensland, which
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: is actually my home state, the south part of Queensland
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: is in lockdown this weekend. I don't get the whole
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: three day lockdown as opposed to like a longer a
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: little bit longer period. We did have a lockdown last year,
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: like my city, but that was so minimal. Victoria got
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: hit pretty hard. They were lockdown for quite a while,
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: but all in normal where we can't we can't go about,
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: we're pretty yeah, life is pretty normal. We still have
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: we still have the hotspots and stuff that we need
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: to be careful about, but definitely not like other.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: Countries like the United States of America.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: You mean well like Los Angeles would like the trees
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: have COVID. Everything has COVID.
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: It's insane. It's yeah, it's scary to think this is
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: any normal. That's all, like we just we're.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: So under la is so underwater. I mean, it's it's
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: it's such a shame because you'd think I would I
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: would have hoped that that that that that Los Angeles
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: could have done, a better job could have been. I mean,
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: I don't know. I live here. I root for the city.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: You know, it has a lot of problems, but I
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: but I but I root for it, and I just
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: I think it's embarrassing how how horribly this has been
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: handled here.
- 1:02:30Speaker 5: Yeah, and it's just been going on for so long now,
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: like and honestly, I it just feels like there's no
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: end in sight. This can't be any normal, like we
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: just it's everything just comes to us absolutely grow and
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: it helps.
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: I think that the obvious thing is that the vaccine
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: is going to be the only thing that that unburies us.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: At least that's the vaccine.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Vaccine that Daniel said it himself. I think maybe Daniel did.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Maybe I heard Fauci saying, I'm confusing Daniel.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Daniel Fauci saying, both they're both as wise on the top.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: They're both wise.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: You know, why didn't you say honored you? What the fuck?
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: You know?
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: You never That's like Willis saying something crazy and Arnold
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: not saying what you're talking about. Willis, I teed you
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: up for your catchphrase.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: There's never been ever in the history of herd immunity
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: natural heard immunity. Never in the history of herd immunity. Right,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: so where we are, right, the only time to spend
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: the reason why the Spanish flu UH became non existent
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: is because of UH vaccine, you know what I mean?
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: And that's the that's the only true I don't know,
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: this is this is the honest of goodness truth.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: It just sounds like like you.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: And so now we're at a point where everybody and
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: and this is this, this is to each their own
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean? You know, do what you do,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: what you want. It's I feel like, and I don't
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: want to conspiracy this situation, but I feel like there
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: are too many people that aren't willing to take the vaccine,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: and then there are a bunch of people that are
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: willing to take the vaccine, and so to make it
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: so that essential workers, when essential workers are saying I
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: don't want to take it, or to make it so that,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: you know, even older people are saying I don't want
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: to take it, there should be a pool. Then if
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: that's the case my opinion, everybody else's opinion, but my opinion,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: there should be a pool where if you don't want
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: to take it, it goes to the people that do.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: I think Biden just is saying that he's going to
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: change it. They've been holding the second dose, so like
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: if one hundred doses come in, they hold fifty so
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: that those first fifty that got it can have the
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: second fifty. The second that was the Trump policy, and Biden,
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: I believe, is just announced that they're not doing that.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: They're going to fucking give out the hundred doses and
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: expect that the other ones are going to come in
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: on time to give everyone their second those. I have
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: no idea if that's a good idea about But anyway,
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: let's let's let's let's refocus on our friend from down under.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: What is your question?
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: I just wanted to actually just show you my shirt
- 1:05:12Speaker 5: as well.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: Oh that's a full eagle shirt.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: That's a nice shirt. But that's not a fake doctors real,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: that's not.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: You're like the gal.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: You're like the gallon the parking lot that buys the
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: off off brand of concert shirts. I'm I'm just kidding,
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: wonderful fang, go ahead.
- 1:05:37Speaker 5: Okay, So my questions and I was trying really hard
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: not to be lame and actually read them, but you know,
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: the nerves do kick in a little bit. So like
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: your friendship both you Zach and Donald, like everyone who
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: knows you and listens to you and watches just show
- 1:05:52Speaker 5: and what have you just see that the incredible bond
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: that you both have. And you know, when you spend
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: so much time with people that you start easily mirroring
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: the behaviors. Do you recognize any of your own personal
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: traits in each other?
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: We have a lot of the same. We have a
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: lot of the same catchphrases, like, we have a lot
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: of the same. What you're talking about, Willis's like, come
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: on buddy, and Jack and we Jack, come on, Buddy.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: From a Dave Chappelle Dave Chappelle stand up where he's
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: talking about smoking weed with his best friend Chip. No no,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: no where He's talking about no where. He's talking about chicken,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: right fried chicken, and how he goes to a restaurant
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: and the guy's like and he says, he sits down,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: and the white waiter comes up to him and he goes,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I think I'll have and the white waiter cuts him
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: off and goes the chicken. He goes, what, how did
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: you know I wanted the chicken? And the waiter goes, mom, buddy,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: come on buddy, And so come on buddy came from
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: that I forgot.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: That's where come on Buddy was taken from. We stole
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: it from Dave Chappelle's stand.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Up, but it became it became something that we said,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: like for every time somebody was bullshit and we said it.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: And so that's where so we have catchphrases that we
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: but as far as like, uh, we're two different people.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: You know, we have the same sense of humor, I
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: would say that we do share in common, but we're
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: two different people.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: Well, I would say that's the most interesting thing about
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: our friendship, even had it not been on display for
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: for nine years, is that we couldn't come from more
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: different backgrounds and the exact same stuff makes us laugh.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: We don't have all the same interests obviously. But but
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: but we if we're at if we're at an event,
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: or we're at a party, or we're in an environment
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: together and something happens, whatever, the exact same thing will
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: make us laugh. We have the same the same thing
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: makes us laugh, and we also have like a decade
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: of inside jokes with each other because you know, how
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: often are you how often are you spending this much
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: time with your best friend? I mean most people never will,
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: but we spent so many hours being silly together.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Well that was our job.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: It's like our job for a decade was to like
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: be together and be funny as as funny as we
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: possibly could. So I think that we just have like
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: I could make a noise and it'll make him laugh
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: because we'll know he'll know that inside joke.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: You know, it's it's it's it's really interesting. It's like
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: you know, uh. I think that that's also what makes
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: our friendship so strong, is that it comes from a
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: very happy place and a very uh you know, it
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: comes from laughter. I think that was the first time
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: we were both I think our first time laughing together
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: was like, Yo, this feels good. Let's you know, uh,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: let's keep the ball, let's keep it going and been
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: together ever since.
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Next question, I.
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: Hey, and actually I didn't realize this because I you
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: know nothing.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: About not yet. Not yet.
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: I really can't see that ever happening. But like even
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: just listening to the podcast and certain things that you
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: Zach especially you've done that, I go, oh, Wow, that's
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: actually not him acting in the show. That's actually him.
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: Your laugh both your laughs are so infectious.
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: Cracks me up.
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: So with your actual characters on this show, do you
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: think any of your characters rubbed off on you or
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: did you put more of yourself into the character into
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: your own characters?
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: I think that they were the reason.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: I would say the reason Donald and I got the
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: ports was that we saw what was so funny about
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: each of the characters and then and embodied them. And
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: then once Bill saw us and the pilot was picked up.
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: Keep in mind, you don't write any of the scripts
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: past the pilot until it gets chosen, and you make
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: the pilot, and then you wait, and then it gets chosen,
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: and then the showrunner, Bill hires a writing staff, and
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: then you go off and make two through whatever. And
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: I think think when they made started making two through whatever,
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: they were able to use the real friendship that had
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: already started between Donald and I and just start, you know,
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: shaping it around who we who we were. I think,
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: you know, good writers, when they have the opportunity, will go,
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: let me write to who that person is. And I
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: think that little by little, you know, you know, lots
- 1:10:24Speaker 3: of traits of who we are became who the characters were, Right, Donald.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I totally agree with that.
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I ship that I shipped, that ship that I thought.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: Ship is when you root for a celebrity relationship.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Ship is when you put any couple together a lots
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: often used when describing fandoms, particularly couples that didn't make
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: it to screen but you wanted them to. Oh ie,
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the relationship.
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Is so Donald, I don't think I've ever said this
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: to you, but I think you may have used this,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: this term incorrectly. This this I.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Think I did.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: I think You've always been my You've always been my
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: sense say you when it came to pop culture slang,
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: and I think you I'm sorry, sir, I'm sorry, Jedi Master.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: I think he used ship wrong.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: No, because there's a relationship between the writers and the
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: actors that you're talking about.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: So I ship that, Joel, Joel buzzer, Oh my.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: God, I don't like being in the middle.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: Yeah, Dane, would you put one of those you know
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: in the family feud, you know, in the family feud
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: when you.
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: Get three exes, one of those there? Please? All right?
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: I don't get an X.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: You guys say you don't have a fucking survey going
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: right now? A committee? This is not a committee. There's
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: not enough of us to discuss this, says a committee.
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: We He asked one hundred people if Donald's definition of
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: ship was right or wrong. Serve says, what I would
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: like to host.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: One person said that shit, Joel. Not one person, not
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: one person agreed with that. I disagree. I disagree. Survey says,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: shut the fuck up, Zach, and let's move on.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: All right, shut the fuck up. Does Steve Harvey still
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: host Family Feud?
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Yeah, he's great at it too.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: By the way, Steve Harvey is very funny, but every
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: time he makes me laugh, it's the same fucking thing,
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: which is the dead pan face, right, the dead pan
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: Steve Harvey look away the ship, where like someone says
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: something outrageous and he just dead pants looks away.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: That will make me laugh every single time.
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: It's it's incredible, and he obviously knows it because he
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: puts it in every Family Feud episode I've ever seen.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Ye Anyway, I don't know if there's ever like a
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: guest celebrity family feud host.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Do you ever see? Do you ever?
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: I would like to do it?
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: Do you ever watch? Right on?
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: Yo, I'm not gonna Richard Dawson and make out with everyone, but.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Let's put it out there, y'all. So let's let's put
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: it into the eat there family feud. If you're ever
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: looking for a celebrity guest host, yes, Zach Braff is willing.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: I've never had a desire to host a game show,
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: but it just came to me that I would be
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: a great family feud host because I.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Would do this Steve. I would do the Steve Harvey dead.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: I would just.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: I would just I mean, like, Steve, thank you for
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: letting me guest host. You go off on a yacht somewhere.
- 1:13:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna do your dead pant, Steve Harvey.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Look, yeah, you know what, when it comes to family feud,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: that always is the term that is associated with the
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: host go off on a yacht somewhere, because you've got
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: that crazy ass money. You know.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: I think Steve Harvey has like eleven jobs and he must.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Don't you think Richard Dawson did too, And don't you
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: think like Louis Anderson when he was hosting bad.
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: I don't know that either of those gentlemen were ever
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: as rich as I imagine Steve Harvey is. I imagine
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: Steve Harvey like must be so loaded because the man
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: I think he like, he like leaves one very high
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: paying job to go do another high paying job.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Right Steve is, Yeah, I imagine he's very I don't know,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know his bank account, but
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: I imagine he's very very.
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I think Steve's probably been on a yacht or too.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: All right, estimates two hundred million dollars.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go. The Internet's never wrong, Donald, and
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: never wrong.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: You get a lot of information from the internet.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, let's you America. Sorry, let's do Australia's
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: favorite segment. Donald, it's time to fix your life. Hey Daniel,
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: maybe you can add a little dissery due in this
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: particular segment.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: No problem, it's just after it's like, yeah, yeah, after
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: the drill. After the drill sound effect, don Daniel pull
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: the wowow. It looks like you're chugging cock.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: So did you because you look like you chug a cock.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: I look like you're doing like this your audience. He's
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: got two hands up as though he's giving a blow,
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: an enormous hand, and he's like, I had a little
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: tiny whole. No, no, your fake di dude is like.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Your dude is like.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: You're there's two ladies present, Donald, Come.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: On, Daniel's president. Daniel doesn't want to hit his ship.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: Don't you don't want too started it?
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: If you're if you're a dizz redoo player, your family
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: definitely thinks it looks like you're chugging a big time
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: fox sake.
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: Just stop talking about your.
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: Women's sorry, sorry, all right, all right, it's time to
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: fix your life, darling. How can we help you?
- 1:15:43Speaker 10: Oh man, Well, in the same vein of friendships and stuff,
- 1:15:49Speaker 10: I have two boys, two young boys, four old, and
- 1:15:53Speaker 10: they fight all the time.
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: It's just it's to stage that. They're not fisty cups
- 1:16:01Speaker 5: type fights. They just at each other all the time.
- 1:16:05Speaker 5: Give it, Give give me My husband's some advice, like
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: how do we how do we get them to get along?
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: It's even to the stage that it's like nearly you're
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: breathing my a type of fight, Like just crap, it's
- 1:16:14Speaker 5: not anything serious.
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: Well, it's good to answer this because he obviously has
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: many children. Donald, how do you get your kids to
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: get along? You're young ones right now?
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Well? I really can't answer that because they're out in
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: the back yelling at each other. Like all I hear
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: is my son screaming. They go at it, man, that's
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I think that's normal. I think that's all kids. I
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: remember when I was a kid and my brother and
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I we used to we used to go at it,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: like for real, for real. I have scars on my
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: body and in my like I have a hole. I
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: had a hole in my head at one point from
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: fighting my brother, who's three years younger than me, but
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: he was he's bigger than me. Like, I can't call
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: him my kid brother or my little brother because he's
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: bigger than me, you know what I mean. Like, people
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: meet my brother Dade, they meet my brother and they'll
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: be and I'll be like, yeah, i'm his younger, I'm
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: his older brother, and they'll be like I thought you
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: were his younger brother. Yeah. See, like I'm the older
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I'm the older one. But Dodde is the one that
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: grew up a little bit harder than I did, you
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: know what I mean.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: He's tough, he's scary, he's tough. You don't want Dottie
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: manage you.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: No, you don't want dott it. That is true in
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: my life. I've experienced that. I prefer when my brother's
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: not upset and in that mode of aggression. Anyway, we
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: fought like crazy when we were kids, like crazy, uh,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: and it did come to fist the cuffs and we would,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: you know, we would. We went at it. And I
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: don't know. Now he's my best friend, you know, when
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: he's in town. We play golf every day together. You know.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I named my son after him, you know. Like so
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: it's like, I know they're at it. I know they're
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: going at it right now. But looking at look at
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: it as they're bonding. I'm not saying let it go
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: and keep and let them fight each other. But there's
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: a lot of love in there and it's it's and
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: even though there's like my son says, I wish I
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: didn't have a sister, and inside he doesn't wish that shit.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I see, how is there.
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: Any is there anything tash that they like to do
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: in common?
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: Regardless even if they do, it'll last for like two
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: three minutes and then it's on like one of them
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: will do something and oh and it's really it's actually
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: usually blessing. I mean, I love my children there, but
- 1:18:30Speaker 5: the older one just pushes the younger one's buttons a
- 1:18:33Speaker 5: little bit, and it's yeah, and my younger one's pretty chilled.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: He's not like impatient.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: And you I mean, I'm assuming you do the obvious
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: things like you know, if you do that again, we're
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: taking away your phone or something like that.
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: I think it's a tall order, as Donald can attest to.
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: I mean, again, I don't have kids, but it seems
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: from from having siblings kids in that age, you know,
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: especially boys.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: They're just they're just wow, you know, that's very hard.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: It's kids period. It's kids period. Like I'm sure Joel remembers,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: you know, fighting with her brothers, you know what I mean, Like,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: it's it's it's just how it is, whether it's a
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: boy or a girl. A girl and a girl, a
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: boy and a boy. It doesn't matter, they're gonna go
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: at it.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: That's just my brother.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: There's not enough space. There's not enough space.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: I have a memory of my two older brothers and
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: my sister and I were closer in age, and they
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: were older than us, and they would be like the
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: wrestling managers, and they'd get us all, me and my
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: sister all riled up, and they'd be like our coaches
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: in the corner, like, oh w w F old school,
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: old school managers, and you get in there, and my
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: sister would I would go in the middle of the
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: room and wrestle and pull hair and then we would
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: scream and get everything we got, and then we'd get
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: too hairy, and they separated.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: Ding ding ding ding. Okay, okay, okay, good, you did good.
- 1:19:48Speaker 2: Maybe don't pull so much hair, but okay, get in there.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Yeah, so your brothers were doing. Your brothers would like,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: remember when we had all of that aggression, let's look
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: at let's take shows and freaking zach and make them
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: do that.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Too, And they thought it was hilarious.
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: I remember them being like sitting back and laughing, being
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: like this is hilarious watching us.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: Wow, do you kids have their own like space?
- 1:20:11Speaker 5: Oh yeah, we actually, funnily enough, we moved twelve months
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: ago because seriously, twenty twenty, I even forget about that year.
- 1:20:18Speaker 5: So I forget that that was twelve months ago. We
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: moved because we're in a really small house and I
- 1:20:22Speaker 5: said to my husband, I can't do it anymore. We
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: can't live in this small house. The kids are on
- 1:20:26Speaker 5: top of each other. It's seriously. One would walk into
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: the room and you could go three two one and
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: then it'd start and you're like, oh, for God's sake,
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: like seriously, So we went, Okay, we moved into this
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: big house and it is a big house and two stories.
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: They got their own space. But they find each other
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: and it's well, stop seeking each other out.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Never it's not enough. It's not enough room. No matter
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: how much space you have, it's never enough room. They
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: find each other. Like, my son has a room dedicated
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: just to his self. My daughter got goes to that
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: room just to fuck with him, just to fuck. Well literally,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: he'll be like, get the fucking I'll hear it. I'll
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: hear her go to the room and I'll hear please
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: get out, please leave wilder, please.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: She starts it too.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Oh. Absolutely, He'll start off calm because he knows that,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: you know, we don't like I have an issue if
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: he goes If something happens and he goes to one hundred,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: then there's no real discussion there. You've already gone to
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: one hundred. See you later, right, Yeah, So he tries
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: to freaking maintain his composure because he knows one hundred
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: means what are we discussing? You're at one hundred. I
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: can't talk to you like this, you know what I mean?
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Please get out.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: He's practicing, at least he's trying.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: Wilder, Wilder, Please get out of my room. I said,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: get out.
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: I can feel it coming.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: While If you don't get out right now, I'm going
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: to kill you.
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: Yet.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: And you hear it, and you hear it starts, and
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: you gotta get up there before get out of it.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: It's like they can't help it.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: You know what you need to do that You need
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: the nanny from that show what's it.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Called the Missus Doubt Fire.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: No, there was like these shows like Nanny nine one one,
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: whether she comes in, Yeah, you need one of those.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: They probably have one of those down in Australia. Yeah,
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: you know, like.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: Sarry Poppins, I need Poppins. Is that what you're telling me?
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: There was a show, a reality show where like a
- 1:22:53Speaker 3: woman who was like a British nanny would go and
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: like set set when parents were like, I'm out of ideas,
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: help me, and she would be like, set down stern rules.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: I mean, in all seriousness, if it does escalate to
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: the point where it's just your life is being affected,
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: you might consider a counselor getting advice from a professional counselor,
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: because I mean, I'm sure that some parents, you know,
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: it's normal, kids are gonna fight, But if it reaches
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: the point where you and your husband are like what
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: the fuck do we do? This is out of control,
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: you might you might get, you know, get some counseling
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: from someone who's a kid specialist who says, you know,
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: here's some tools, because I certainly don't know what those are,
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: but I imagine someone can have some Jedi mind tricks
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: for your kids.
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: Well, yeah, tools, tools are with they do work. They
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: do work. They work for a little bit until you
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: forget that you have these tools that have been given
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: to you, right right, I mean, I'm sure that.
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: They do love each other because they do. Like you know,
- 1:23:46Speaker 5: when anything ever happens with friends or at school and
- 1:23:49Speaker 5: stuff like getther ones like in it all come to
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: school and I'll help you sort that out, and it's like, no,
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: you won't. You actually will just pump you brakes. But
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: it's just it's just that they that antagonistic behavior and
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: it just does head in. It's like just some days
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: it's just no harmony.
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: Some days.
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: This podcast doesn't really have a lot of positive inspiration
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: to having children.
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: If I may, I don't have I obviously don't have children.
- 1:24:15Speaker 8: But I just want to parrot something that Casey said
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: before and just start with the question do you allow
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: your kids to play video games?
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: Good? Of course, yes, my three games in the house.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: That's where it starts. Man, My kid gets the most
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: aggressive right after he plays that video game. After the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: video game, that's when I get to shut I'm not
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: having it.
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: WHOA I thought Daniel was probably about to say, is
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: there a game they like in common?
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: Right? Yeah? That is where I was going again?
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Does state keep them off the games?
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Keep them off the games as hurting?
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: Daniel's gonna CRY's gonna swipe a tear away.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: No, Daniel's a grown man. Daniel knows what. I'm sure
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: he knows what video games can do to a grown
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: man and how grown men can zone being it stuck
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: in the game, like I'm staring at the microphone and
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: I can't get off the game, and my whole life
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: is surrounded by a game. Imagine being six years old
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: or seven years old or twelve years old, and your
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: life is now surround it's involved with. All it is
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: is a game, dude. That's just get them off the game.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: That's real talk. As a parent, I see my son's
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: best behavior when he's not playing video games.
- 1:25:21Speaker 5: Oh look, you don't have to tell me twice that.
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: I don't think we're I don't think we're helping today. Cash.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: We tried, but I don't know if we can say
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: you're welcome. Donald. I think this might be the first
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: time we've been stumped.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: I can say you're welcome, I can tell how you're welcome.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: You know why. I know why because everybody's everybody. You're
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: not alone in this. This is what is how kids are,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: This is how siblings are. And I promise you, I
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: promise you. If they don't kill each other. Now, when
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: they're older, they're gonna love each other. They're gonna love
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: each other more than anything. And the way you and
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: you nailed it when you said it, if somebody were
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: to beat up on the little one, the older one
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: would be there so quick because only he's allowed to
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: beat up on a little one.
- 1:26:00Speaker 5: You know what.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: My one idea would be, like, you know, take their
- 1:26:03Speaker 3: favorite thing away. I mean, like I said, I mean
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: take there like you know, if you if you raise
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: your voice like that again, your phone's gonna get taken away.
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: Take their video game away. I mean, I'm sure you've
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: tried all the obvious things. What do you want me
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: to get Casey? No no, no, no, we went, we've won.
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: We run way long.
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: And I'll get Casey no no no. Okay, that's your
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: that's your other side. Also you in case you're going
- 1:26:25Speaker 3: to do a parenting podcast. All right, listen, you can
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: stay on for the end because we finished the show.
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: It was a very good one. And what can we
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: tell you? We love you guys, right, don't we?
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: We do.
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: Uh, thank you for listening. We love you from Los
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: Angeles all the way to Australia.
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: You finish the.
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: Show the way we're recording the show now, we're like
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: a week will be a week behind all of your
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: major events and stuff like that. So for those of
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: you who were worried that this podcast is getting too political,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: we'll be so far behind on policy now that it
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: won't be relevant when we talk about politics. So guess
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: what your prayers have been answered.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: Yeah, you're welcome.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: There you go, You're welcome. You're welcome, world, your life,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: you're welcome.
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: You pivoted to your welcome Earth.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: All right, we love you. Everybody will see you next week.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Bosies, I'm not sure.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: We made about a bunch of docs and nurses.
- 1:27:36Speaker 7: And I said, he's the Stories Net, So YadA around here,
- 1:27:45Speaker 7: yeada around here.
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: But m
