- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi and Samy with Intuitive Coaching with Amy Radio, and
- 0:04Speaker 1: this is your sacred space for spirituality, intuition, manifestation and
- 0:09Speaker 1: metaphysical wisdom. Today, I want to talk to you about
- 0:12Speaker 1: luxury and why luxury is good. We know it's good,
- 0:18Speaker 1: like we know it's good, but luxury has gotten a
- 0:20Speaker 1: bad reputation and people associate it with greed or excess
- 0:25Speaker 1: or comparison. But luxury is not about access. Luxury is
- 0:31Speaker 1: just an energy. Luxury is about quality. It's about care.
- 0:36Speaker 1: It's about choosing what feels rich and nourishing and supportive
- 0:42Speaker 1: to you. Everyone has a different relationship with luxury. One
- 0:47Speaker 1: person may love a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood,
- 0:50Speaker 1: and another person may love a beautiful, reliable, fast, sleek,
- 0:55Speaker 1: stylish car. Someone else may love luxury in time or
- 1:01Speaker 1: space or privacy or ease. Luxury is personal, it's not
- 1:08Speaker 1: a checklist. And what creates trouble is when people try
- 1:12Speaker 1: to adopt someone else's definition of luxury, or when they
- 1:17Speaker 1: believe luxury is something that they have to earn later
- 1:21Speaker 1: in life. And this is often fear where the fear
- 1:26Speaker 1: around luxury is born. Fear of judgment, fear of being seen,
- 1:31Speaker 1: fear of wanting too much, fear of appearing selfish, fear
- 1:35Speaker 1: of appearing excessive, a fear of lack. Oh, if I
- 1:40Speaker 1: invest in luxury, I won't have enough. Then it's really
- 1:44Speaker 1: just fear of lack, it's not truth. And sometimes fear
- 1:48Speaker 1: that if you let yourself have one luxury you'll spiral
- 1:52Speaker 1: into wanting everything. But that's really, again not how it works.
- 1:58Speaker 1: When you trust yourself, you naturally gravitate towards what truly
- 2:03Speaker 1: matters to you. You do not want every luxury, You
- 2:07Speaker 1: want the ones that feel meaningful to you. So luxury
- 2:12Speaker 1: is not about keeping up with everyone else. It's about
- 2:16Speaker 1: tuning inward. This is the real definition of luxury, and
- 2:22Speaker 1: I promise you this message came full on from spirit.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Luxury is about a luxury is available to everyone if
- 2:32Speaker 1: they choose to have it. And the way you know
- 2:41Speaker 1: what luxuries are right for you is tuning inward and
- 2:44Speaker 1: trusting the wisdom within you. How are you being guided?
- 2:47Speaker 1: What feels rich to you, what feels supportive to you,
- 2:52Speaker 1: what feels like care to you. Luxury can be a
- 2:58Speaker 1: quality experience. It can be slow mornings, a well made meal,
- 3:04Speaker 1: a peaceful workspace, a body that feels rested. So for me,
- 3:10Speaker 1: for me, I'll share this with you. A luxury for
- 3:14Speaker 1: me is I don't ever drive in traffic or I
- 3:22Speaker 1: don't need to earn my living by driving in traffic.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I grew up in Los Angeles. Traffic was always a
- 3:28Speaker 1: part of my life. And once I became an adult,
- 3:31Speaker 1: I graduated from college and I got my first job,
- 3:35Speaker 1: and I realized, like I had to commute and it
- 3:40Speaker 1: wasn't for me. So I started. I just knew, I
- 3:45Speaker 1: knew I could not imagine my life behind a wheel
- 3:48Speaker 1: every single morning in traffic. And so right after I graduated,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I start working as a recruiter. And company I was
- 4:01Speaker 1: working for they had a Pasadena office, Nada office deeper
- 4:04Speaker 1: in the San Gibral Valley, and I was I was
- 4:09Speaker 1: employed by the one deeper in the San Gibral Valley,
- 4:13Speaker 1: and so my training though was in Pasadena. And I
- 4:16Speaker 1: remember my coworker who was training me my counter in
- 4:21Speaker 1: that office, she told me that she walks to work.
- 4:25Speaker 1: She lived in Pasadena and she walked to work, and
- 4:28Speaker 1: I was just like, what you walk to work? I
- 4:31Speaker 1: thought that was just fascinating, right, And then so that
- 4:41Speaker 1: became like My goal was like, I want to be
- 4:43Speaker 1: able to walk to work. And so when I moved
- 4:45Speaker 1: to San Francisco and I was able to do that,
- 4:48Speaker 1: that was luxury to me. And so now being self employed,
- 4:53Speaker 1: my short guys are like tell the whole story. So
- 4:55Speaker 1: then being in San Francisco, it was you know, early
- 5:00Speaker 1: like mid early two thousand, so like two thousand and six,
- 5:03Speaker 1: two thousand and seven, two thousand and eight, being out
- 5:06Speaker 1: and about and around other people, I heard the Best
- 5:09Speaker 1: Buy employees work from home. I was like, what work
- 5:14Speaker 1: from home? Oh my god, that's amazing, And so then
- 5:20Speaker 1: that became my goal. That became luxury. Is like I
- 5:22Speaker 1: wanted to work from home, and so then when I
- 5:24Speaker 1: start my business, I work from home. And so now
- 5:27Speaker 1: being back in LA I don't ever want to be
- 5:33Speaker 1: in traffic hours. I either get really early and run
- 5:36Speaker 1: in erin. I'm not out and about, you know, between
- 5:41Speaker 1: four thirty and six thirty. It's just gross to me
- 5:47Speaker 1: to be in traffic. So you know, I was poking
- 5:49Speaker 1: at my brother because I love them with all my heart,
- 5:52Speaker 1: but his wife and I get it because they're kids, right,
- 5:55Speaker 1: Like I guess kids go to bed early, but they
- 5:57Speaker 1: schedule events at four at five, and the last one
- 6:08Speaker 1: was my niece's birthday party was at four on a
- 6:12Speaker 1: motherfucking Friday, right before the Christmas holidays. I live eight
- 6:17Speaker 1: miles from my brother. It took me an hour I
- 6:22Speaker 1: had to go into every single practice I had to
- 6:25Speaker 1: get through that. And the what saved me was music.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Praise God for music, Praise God for Spotify. I just
- 6:32Speaker 1: listened to a whole bunch of nineties music that I
- 6:34Speaker 1: hadn't heard, and it kept me like engaged. But that
- 6:38Speaker 1: drive was treacherous for me. And that is the anticitus,
- 6:44Speaker 1: anticitus anti whatever I can see, it's the spelling of it.
- 6:49Speaker 1: In my mind, that is the opposite of luxury. To me,
- 6:53Speaker 1: that is the opposite of luxury. So my luxury is
- 6:56Speaker 1: I never ever ever drive in traffic, never ever ever.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Only for that family, my brother, his wife and their children,
- 7:05Speaker 1: will I'd drive in traffic, absolutely fucking not. Nope, don't
- 7:11Speaker 1: do it. Don't do it. I've built a whole life,
- 7:15Speaker 1: a whole adult life, around not having to drive in
- 7:18Speaker 1: traffic because it just it just doesn't work for my
- 7:22Speaker 1: system at all. It doesn't even make any like, it
- 7:25Speaker 1: doesn't make sense, like yeah, So when I'm talking to
- 7:30Speaker 1: you about luxury, everybody has for me living in Los
- 7:33Speaker 1: Angeles right now and working from home, that is a luxury.
- 7:40Speaker 1: That is a luxury. And so really sit down this
- 7:45Speaker 1: holiday season, as you move into the new year, as
- 7:47Speaker 1: you're reflecting on this year, and define what luxury is
- 7:51Speaker 1: to you. So again, it may be slower mornings for you.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It may be well made meals, it may be a
- 7:59Speaker 1: peaceful workspace. It may be that you don't get back
- 8:04Speaker 1: to work until your body's fully rested. So many of
- 8:07Speaker 1: us have to work even if we are not feeling
- 8:11Speaker 1: well or feeling our best. But what if you build
- 8:15Speaker 1: a life where, oh, I don't work until I'm at
- 8:20Speaker 1: full reset. When you allow yourself to have luxury in
- 8:25Speaker 1: the ways that matter to you, something important happens. Energetically.
- 8:30Speaker 1: You create an energy field that attracts relaxing situations, well
- 8:38Speaker 1: resourced situations, situations where you feel valued. And from that state,
- 8:43Speaker 1: receiving becomes so much easier and everything responds to that energy, money, opportunities,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and you don't have to chase anything, you don't have
- 8:54Speaker 1: to seek it out. It finds you. You begin to
- 8:57Speaker 1: embody the energy of whatever you decide is luxury to you,
- 9:06Speaker 1: and so you don't need to wait until your finances
- 9:09Speaker 1: change to experience luxury. You can begin where you are
- 9:13Speaker 1: right now. Luxury is permission. You give yourself permission to
- 9:20Speaker 1: choose quality. You give your self permission to choose ease,
- 9:25Speaker 1: You give yourself permission to choose what feels good. Without explanation,
- 9:30Speaker 1: this is next level and this came directly. I channeled
- 9:33Speaker 1: this from a spirit. I've been definitely hearing more conversations
- 9:38Speaker 1: about luxury and it's definitely opened my mind to the
- 9:41Speaker 1: idea of luxury being an energy versus a specific thing. Right,
- 9:51Speaker 1: It's just an energy and you can tap into it
- 9:55Speaker 1: and you have greater access to it than you think.
- 9:57Speaker 1: It's not just based on your financial resources. It has
- 10:01Speaker 1: everything to do with what's within you. I also believe
- 10:05Speaker 1: the more you tap into the energy of luxury, it
- 10:08Speaker 1: really helps you define your boundaries and what you will
- 10:13Speaker 1: accept and what you will not accept. Yeah, it's pretty
- 10:18Speaker 1: it's pretty awesome as you start to really give yourself permission,
- 10:24Speaker 1: because there's an approach to luxury where you're not giving
- 10:27Speaker 1: yourself permission and you can find yourself in excess. From
- 10:30Speaker 1: a place of guilt and shame. That's not what I'm
- 10:32Speaker 1: talking about. I'm talking about really just tuning in and
- 10:37Speaker 1: defining what luxury means to you and starting to live
- 10:42Speaker 1: from that place, and being okay with that place, and
- 10:47Speaker 1: then allowing it to be drawn to you. So again,
- 10:51Speaker 1: luxury is not about financial resources. It's about permission. What
- 10:55Speaker 1: are you giving yourself permission to have? One side my
- 11:00Speaker 1: one year Intuitive Coaching package, we do this work. It's
- 11:04Speaker 1: about releasing fear around receiving. It's about trusting your preferences.
- 11:09Speaker 1: It's about letting yourself live well now and not someday.
- 11:13Speaker 1: And as you start to live this way, your capacity
- 11:16Speaker 1: to receive what you really want expands naturally. The one
- 11:22Speaker 1: You're Intuitive Coaching package is amazing. You will absolutely love it.

- 11:47Speaker 1: Thank you so much for listening to this show. Again,
- 11:50Speaker 1: luxury is not something to fear Luxury is an energy,
- 11:54Speaker 1: and you get to use that energy in whatever way
- 11:56Speaker 1: feels right to you. Listen to that energy, feel into
- 12:00Speaker 1: that energy, acknowledge that energy. Let yourself have what feels
- 12:05Speaker 1: luxurious to you. It'll change your life. It will change
- 12:10Speaker 1: your life, and it'll make you more prosperous. It will
- 12:13Speaker 1: truly make you more prosperous. So thank you so much

- 12:18Speaker 1: with you on the next Take care of yourself, goodbye.
