- 0:26Speaker 1: Close your eyes and make yourself comfortable in your very
- 0:31own bed. Take a deep breath.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Into your nose.
- 0:39Speaker 1: And slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth. Take
- 0:47another deep breath in and slowly and gently breathe out
- 0:55through your mouth. One last time, deep breath in and
- 1:04slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth. Just feel
- 1:11a gentle rhythm of your breath. Feel a steady beat
- 1:16of your heart as it beats merrily in your chest,
- 1:23knowing that you are alive. Or take a moment to
- 1:30listen to your heartbeat and just feel a gentle rise
- 1:35and fall of your chest as it moves in time
- 1:39with your heartbeat.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Can you feel it?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Can you feel your chest rising and falling as you
- 1:51breathe peacefully. Now imagine yourself surrounded by a beautiful white light,
- 2:03a light so bright, a light of protection just for you. Now,
- 2:12breathe in this white light and feel it as it
- 2:17enters your body, making you feel all warm and safe,
- 2:24and it feels so wonderful, so peaceful. Now imagine that
- 2:34you are standing in a beautiful meadow and there are
- 2:38wild flowers dotted all around the field, and they look
- 2:43absolutely amazing, and their colors are so vivid, and they
- 2:51sway just a little bit in the gentle breeze. As
- 2:57you look around, you see the birds as they fly
- 3:02all around the field, probably looking for some food. Can
- 3:08you see them? Can you hear them singing their beautiful songs.
- 3:20You can also see large trees all around the edges
- 3:25of the field, trees of many different shapes and sizes,
- 3:31And there are quite a few pine trees too, and
- 3:34they smell wonderful. Can you smell them? Can you smell
- 3:41the scent of the wild flowers, because they too smell amazing,
- 3:46quite like nothing you've smelt before, And that too makes
- 3:51you feel so peaceful and so very calm. And the
- 4:01scent of the flowers, their ownent, makes you think of
- 4:05happy things, happy times in your life, with the people
- 4:10you love, with the animals you love, with the friends
- 4:16that you love to So you begin to walk into
- 4:23the center of this wonderful field, and as you do,
- 4:29you notice something up ahead of you. You see a doorway,
- 4:35a doorway just standing in the center of the field.
- 4:40Speaker 2: How strange.
- 4:43Speaker 1: You decide to go and investigate this door standing alone
- 4:47in the middle of the field, And so you walk
- 4:50towards it, and very soon you are standing in front
- 4:55of it. It is white, with a large black hand
- 5:00in the middle of it. It's quite big too. You
- 5:05walk all the way round it and are very puzzled.
- 5:09Why is there? You ask yourself, why is it there?
- 5:14Why would there be a door in the middle of
- 5:16a field? Again, very strange. So because you are curious,
- 5:26you decide to open the door. After all, it doesn't
- 5:30seem to lead anywhere, does it. So you press down
- 5:34on the handle and open the door. What do you
- 5:39see beyond the door? It's really quite amazing. There is
- 5:45another place there. Maybe it's another world. Maybe this door
- 5:50is a portal to somewhere else. How exciting is that?
- 5:56I should peek through? You can see beds through that door,
- 6:00lots and lots of beds. Surely that can't be right,
- 6:05can it. So you walk around the door again, and
- 6:10as you go to the other side of it, you
- 6:13see that that side of the door is closed.
- 6:17Speaker 2: How odd.
- 6:20Speaker 1: One side of the door is open to another place,
- 6:23the other side is still closed.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Oh my.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So you go back around again to the open doorway,
- 6:34and as you look inside, you hear someone call your name,
- 6:39and you look down to where the voice came from,
- 6:43and you see, to your amazement, a big ginger cat
- 6:47with a great, big fluffy tail. How this cat has
- 6:53beautiful green eyes and a great big smile on his face,
- 6:58and he has very long, silky whiskers and a red
- 7:02bow tie around his neck.
- 7:06Speaker 2: He says hello again and tells.
- 7:09Speaker 1: You that his name is Mango, and that he is
- 7:13your guide to day on this little adventure. So you
- 7:19tell him below, and you tell him your name, and
- 7:22you say thank you very much for guiding me. Mango
- 7:26tells you to step through the door so that he
- 7:28can close it and you can begin to explore with him.
- 7:34So you step into the most beautiful place with rolling
- 7:38hills and a bright blue sky with a few fluffy
- 7:43white clouds just driftling along. The sun is shining low
- 7:48down now, as soon it will be getting dark. And
- 7:52you see that there are beds everywhere, and I do
- 7:57mean everywhere. There are so many of them that you
- 8:03can't count them. There are different sizes, different shapes, different colors.
- 8:10There are beds that look like cars, beds that look
- 8:14like water beds, beds that look like big trucks, and
- 8:18beds that are hammocks, beds that are anything you want
- 8:24them to be.
- 8:26Speaker 2: It's just amazing.
- 8:30Speaker 1: So Mango tells you that the soul will be going
- 8:33down soon, so you need to choose a bed to
- 8:36sleep on for the night. Wow, you get to sleep
- 8:41here for the night. How cool is that? So you
- 8:47and Mango set off to search for a bed for
- 8:50you to sleep on. Later when the sun goes down,
- 8:54and you pass so many beds, and Mango says, eat
- 8:59and climb on them and see how they feel. He says,
- 9:03some of the beds are very soft and are made
- 9:06with feathers, some of them are a bit fairmer, and
- 9:10some of them really are waterbeds, he says. But it's
- 9:14your choice. You can choose any bed you want to
- 9:18sleep on. The beds are all different colors too, You
- 9:22can even see some in your favorite colors. Some of
- 9:27them have very large pillows and they look ever so comfy.
- 9:32Some of them just have normal sized pillows, but they
- 9:35too look so comfy, and you think you're never going
- 9:42to be able to decide what bed you are like
- 9:44to sleep in. Mango just laughs and he says that
- 9:49you will find the perfect bed for you.
- 9:54Speaker 2: So for a few.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Moments, go with Mango and explore all of the different beds,
- 10:02find the one you like the best, and that will
- 10:05be the one you get to sleep on tonight.
- 10:09Speaker 2: So go with Mango.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Now, sat, Wow, that was great, wasn't it.
- 12:51Speaker 1: How many different beds did you see? Did you decide
- 12:57on the perfect bed?
- 12:58Speaker 2: I bet you did.
- 13:01Speaker 3: So.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Now with your chosen bed, you realize that the sun
- 13:07is almost gone and it's time for some sleep. So
- 13:12Mango leads you back to your chosen bed and he
- 13:16pulls back the covers for you, fluffs up the nice
- 13:20soft pillows, and you climb in, and Mango asks if
- 13:25it's okay if he too can climb up and sleep
- 13:28on the top of the bed and maybe keep your
- 13:30feet warm and cozy. Well, you say yes, of course
- 13:35you can. So the two of you snuggle down and
- 13:41you say good night to each other and you both
- 13:44close your eyes. You feel so happy to be staying
- 13:51here with Mango, and he really is keeping your feet
- 13:55nice and warm and cozy, and you feel so grateful
- 14:01to profound a new friend in him. He's been so
- 14:04kind to you, showing you all the beds and telling
- 14:08you which ones he likes to sleep on. And you
- 14:13can also come back and visit him whenever you want,
- 14:16and maybe have a sleepover again. Now that would be nice,
- 14:21wouldn't it. But your eyes are feeling really heavy now,
- 14:28and your body is feeling so very tired.
- 14:32Speaker 2: It's been an exciting.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Being here with mango and choosing your own bed. But
- 14:38you take a gentle breath in through your nose and
- 14:43then just gently blow it out from your mouth, and
- 14:49you take another breath and gently blow that out from
- 14:53your mouth too, and you feel very sleepy now, so
- 14:59tired and relaxed, and you feel a gentle wave of
- 15:06sleepiness starting at your feet. It's a warm, gentle feeling,
- 15:13kind of like how a feather feels when you brush
- 15:16it up against your skin. So soft, so gentle, and
- 15:24you can feel your toes going to sleep, and it
- 15:28feels warm and tingly and ever so soft, And you.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Feel a soothing, gentle.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Wave of sleepiness coming up your calves and your shins,
- 15:41and you can feel going up your thighs, and you
- 15:45think your legs have already gone to sleep. Oh, you
- 15:50feel ever stired now, so sleepy, but so very very happy,
- 16:00and your eyes just don't want to open now. They're
- 16:04quite happy just as they are and this beautiful wave
- 16:09of sleepiness travels all the way up your body, down
- 16:15your arms, and it's your hands, making your body feel
- 16:21very heavy, very tired, and very very sleepy. And this gentle,
- 16:31warm wave of sleepiness travels up your face and over
- 16:38the top of your head and down the back of
- 16:41your neck.
- 16:43Speaker 2: You feel so tired, so.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Sleepy now, and you feel nice and warm and snugly,
- 16:56and your quilt is so soft and your pillows are
- 17:01very fluffy. So just have a little sleep now, to
- 17:09sleep and relax and be calm. I should go deeper
- 17:16and deeper into a wonderful night's sleep. Night night sleep, nights.
