• 1:20
  It
• 1:20
  is
• 1:20
  Wednesday.
• 1:21
  It
• 1:21
  is
• 1:21
  a
• 1:21
  wild
• 1:22
  one
• 1:22
  out
• 1:22
  there.
• 1:23
  All
• 1:23
  the
• 1:23
  politicking
• 1:24
  going
• 1:24
  around
• 1:25
  the
• 1:25
  Southeast
• 1:25
  is
• 1:26
  freezing
• 1:26
  their
• 1:26
  butts
• 1:26
  off
• 1:27
  out
• 1:27
  there.
• 1:27
  There
• 1:28
  is
• 1:28
  so
• 1:28
  much
• 1:28
  going
• 1:29
  on.
• 1:29
  So
• 1:29
  everybody
• 1:30
  take
• 1:30
  a
• 1:30
  nice
• 1:31
  deep
• 1:31
  breath
• 1:32
  and
• 1:32
  we
• 1:32
  are
• 1:33
  halfway
• 1:33
  to
• 1:33
  the
• 1:33
  weekend
• 1:34
  where
• 1:34
  we're
• 1:34
  gonna
• 1:34
  have
• 1:35
  another
• 1:35
  two
• 1:35
  hours
• 1:36
  of
• 1:36
  around
• 1:36
  the
• 1:37
  house
• 1:37
  show
• 1:37
  this
• 1:37
  weekend.
• 1:38
  We
• 1:38
  got
• 1:38
  a
• 1:38
  great
• 1:38
  one
• 1:38
  coming
• 1:39
  up.
• 1:39
  We'll
• 1:39
  talk
• 1:39
  about
• 1:39
  that
• 1:40
  later
• 1:40
  in
• 1:40
  the
• 1:40
  week.
• 1:41
  But
• 1:42
  today
• 1:42
  I
• 1:42
  wanted
• 1:42
  to
• 1:42
  give
• 1:42
  a
• 1:43
  quick
• 1:43
  education
• 1:43
  for
• 1:44
  all
• 1:44
  of
• 1:44
  our
• 1:44
  friends
• 1:45
  here
• 1:46
  basically
• 1:46
  in
• 1:46
  the
• 1:47
  rest
• 1:47
  of
• 1:47
  the
• 1:47
  country,
• 1:47
  except
• 1:48
  for
• 1:48
  the.
• 1:48
  For
• 1:48
  the
• 1:48
  west
• 1:49
  coast
• 1:49
  here.
• 1:49
  All
• 1:49
  of
• 1:49
  you
• 1:50
  in
• 1:50
  the
• 1:50
  north
• 1:50
  understand
• 1:51
  this.
• 1:52
  All
• 1:52
  of
• 1:52
  you
• 1:52
  in
• 1:53
  the
• 1:53
  south.
• 1:53
  This
• 1:53
  is
• 1:54
  new
• 1:54
  territory
• 1:54
  and
• 1:55
  we're
• 1:55
  here
• 1:55
  to
• 1:55
  help
• 1:55
  you
• 1:55
  out
• 1:56
  today.
• 1:57
  How
• 1:57
  do
• 1:57
  you
• 1:57
  deal
• 1:58
  with
• 1:58
  pipes
• 1:59
  freezing
• 1:59
  up
• 2:00
  because
• 2:00
  your
• 2:01
  house
• 2:01
  was
• 2:01
  never
• 2:02
  built
• 2:03
  for
• 2:03
  snow
• 2:03
  in
• 2:04
  this
• 2:04
  kind
• 2:04
  of
• 2:04
  weather.
• 2:05
  So
• 2:05
  the
• 2:05
  first
• 2:06
  thing
• 2:06
  is,
• 2:06
  is
• 2:07
  I
• 2:07
  want
• 2:07
  to
• 2:07
  make
• 2:07
  sure
• 2:07
  that
• 2:08
  I
• 2:08
  know
• 2:08
  it's
• 2:08
  cold
• 2:09
  out
• 2:09
  there,
• 2:09
  it's
• 2:09
  going
• 2:09
  to
• 2:09
  warm
• 2:09
  up
• 2:10
  later
• 2:10
  in
• 2:10
  the
• 2:10
  week,
• 2:10
  and
• 2:10
  that's
• 2:10
  good.
• 2:11
  But
• 2:12
  really,
• 2:12
  if
• 2:12
  you've
• 2:13
  got,
• 2:13
  you
• 2:13
  know,
• 2:14
  most
• 2:14
  of
• 2:14
  the
• 2:14
  homes,
• 2:14
  it
• 2:14
  seems,
• 2:15
  are
• 2:15
  slab
• 2:16
  on
• 2:16
  grade
• 2:17
  when
• 2:17
  you
• 2:17
  get
• 2:17
  down
• 2:17
  into
• 2:17
  Florida.
• 2:18
  So
• 2:18
  you
• 2:18
  got
• 2:18
  concrete
• 2:19
  on
• 2:19
  the
• 2:20
  dirt
• 2:20
  or
• 2:20
  stand,
• 2:21
  and
• 2:21
  that's
• 2:21
  what
• 2:21
  it
• 2:21
  is.
• 2:22
  That's
• 2:22
  one
• 2:23
  thing.
• 2:23
  You're
• 2:23
  probably
• 2:23
  going
• 2:24
  to
• 2:24
  be
• 2:24
  a
• 2:24
  little
• 2:24
  better
• 2:24
  off
• 2:25
  with
• 2:25
  that
• 2:26
  aspect
• 2:26
  than
• 2:26
  the
• 2:26
  houses
• 2:27
  that
• 2:27
  are
• 2:27
  on
• 2:27
  crawl
• 2:28
  spaces.
• 2:28
  And
• 2:28
  the
• 2:28
  few
• 2:29
  that
• 2:29
  have
• 2:29
  basements
• 2:30
  might
• 2:30
  be
• 2:30
  okay
• 2:31
  as
• 2:31
  well.
• 2:31
  But
• 2:31
  the
• 2:31
  crawl
• 2:32
  spaces
• 2:32
  is
• 2:32
  the
• 2:33
  big
• 2:33
  one.
• 2:33
  So
• 2:34
  if
• 2:34
  you've
• 2:34
  got
• 2:34
  that
• 2:34
  little
• 2:35
  space
• 2:35
  down
• 2:35
  there
• 2:35
  underneath
• 2:36
  the
• 2:36
  house,
• 2:36
  this
• 2:37
  is
• 2:37
  where
• 2:37
  the
• 2:38
  problems
• 2:38
  arise.
• 2:39
  So
• 2:39
  the
• 2:39
  first
• 2:40
  thing
• 2:40
  I
• 2:40
  want
• 2:40
  you
• 2:40
  to
• 2:40
  do
• 2:41
  is
• 2:41
  go
• 2:41
  around
• 2:41
  your
• 2:42
  house
• 2:42
  and
• 2:42
  make
• 2:42
  sure
• 2:42
  that
• 2:42
  all
• 2:43
  the
• 2:43
  water
• 2:43
  is
• 2:43
  flowing
• 2:44
  great.
• 2:44
  Because
• 2:44
  when
• 2:44
  you're
• 2:45
  getting
• 2:45
  below
• 2:45
  freezing,
• 2:46
  a
• 2:46
  lot
• 2:46
  of
• 2:46
  these
• 2:46
  homes
• 2:47
  just
• 2:47
  didn't
• 2:47
  insulate
• 2:48
  those
• 2:48
  pipes
• 2:48
  correctly.
• 2:49
  So
• 2:50
  the
• 2:50
  one
• 2:50
  thing
• 2:50
  I
• 2:50
  would
• 2:51
  do
• 2:51
  is
• 2:52
  make
• 2:52
  sure
• 2:53
  all
• 2:53
  the
• 2:53
  faucets
• 2:53
  are
• 2:54
  running
• 2:54
  good.
• 2:55
  Make
• 2:55
  sure
• 2:55
  you're
• 2:55
  good.
• 2:56
  And
• 2:56
  then
• 2:56
  what
• 2:56
  I
• 2:57
  would
• 2:57
  do
• 2:57
  is
• 2:57
  for
• 2:58
  the
• 2:58
  next
• 2:58
  couple
• 2:59
  days,
• 2:59
  keep
• 2:59
  the
• 2:59
  heat
• 2:59
  up
• 2:59
  in
• 3:00
  the
• 3:00
  house,
• 3:00
  Keep
• 3:01
  a
• 3:01
  little
• 3:02
  bit
• 3:02
  of
• 3:02
  heat
• 3:02
  going
• 3:02
  in
• 3:03
  there.
• 3:03
  Maybe
• 3:03
  it's
• 3:04
  going
• 3:04
  to
• 3:04
  be
• 3:04
  75.
• 3:05
  Yeah,
• 3:05
  keep
• 3:05
  it
• 3:06
  nice
• 3:06
  and
• 3:06
  warm
• 3:07
  because
• 3:07
  that's
• 3:07
  going
• 3:08
  to
• 3:08
  help
• 3:08
  radiate
• 3:08
  out.
• 3:08
  Because
• 3:09
  your
• 3:09
  prowess
• 3:09
  probably
• 3:10
  isn't
• 3:10
  that
• 3:10
  well
• 3:10
  insulated
• 3:11
  as
• 3:11
  well
• 3:12
  down
• 3:12
  in
• 3:12
  those
• 3:12
  same
• 3:13
  areas.
• 3:13
  And
• 3:13
  see
• 3:13
  if
• 3:14
  you
• 3:14
  can
• 3:14
  help
• 3:14
  with
• 3:14
  that,
• 3:15
  See
• 3:16
  if
• 3:16
  you
• 3:16
  can
• 3:16
  keep
• 3:16
  that
• 3:17
  temperature
• 3:17
  up.
• 3:18
  Next
• 3:18
  up,
• 3:19
  if
• 3:19
  you
• 3:19
  have
• 3:19
  any
• 3:19
  crawl
• 3:19
  space
• 3:20
  vents
• 3:20
  out
• 3:20
  there,
• 3:21
  go
• 3:22
  close
• 3:22
  those
• 3:22
  up.
• 3:23
  If
• 3:23
  they
• 3:23
  don't
• 3:23
  close,
• 3:23
  tape
• 3:24
  some
• 3:24
  plastic
• 3:24
  over
• 3:25
  it,
• 3:25
  duct
• 3:25
  tape,
• 3:26
  whatever
• 3:26
  you
• 3:26
  got
• 3:26
  just
• 3:27
  to
• 3:27
  keep
• 3:27
  that
• 3:28
  nice
• 3:28
  and
• 3:28
  airtight.
• 3:29
  So
• 3:29
  if
• 3:29
  you
• 3:29
  do
• 3:29
  get
• 3:30
  heat
• 3:30
  in
• 3:30
  there,
• 3:30
  it
• 3:31
  keeps
• 3:31
  it
• 3:31
  in.
• 3:32
  And
• 3:32
  next
• 3:32
  up,
• 3:33
  if
• 3:33
  you've
• 3:34
  got
• 3:34
  a
• 3:34
  attic
• 3:35
  space
• 3:35
  up
• 3:36
  there
• 3:36
  and
• 3:37
  your
• 3:37
  pipes
• 3:37
  are
• 3:37
  in
• 3:38
  the
• 3:38
  attic
• 3:38
  space,
• 3:39
  here's
• 3:39
  the
• 3:39
  next
• 3:39
  thing
• 3:40
  I
• 3:40
  would
• 3:40
  do.
• 3:40
  Now,
• 3:41
  this
• 3:41
  is
• 3:41
  going
• 3:41
  to
• 3:41
  be
• 3:41
  horrible
• 3:42
  for
• 3:43
  your
• 3:43
  heating
• 3:43
  bill,
• 3:44
  but
• 3:44
  it
• 3:44
  could
• 3:44
  give
• 3:44
  you
• 3:45
  enough
• 3:45
  heat
• 3:45
  to
• 3:45
  not
• 3:45
  freeze
• 3:46
  this
• 3:46
  stuff
• 3:46
  up.
• 3:47
  Go
• 3:47
  up
• 3:47
  into
• 3:47
  your,
• 3:48
  your
• 3:48
  attic
• 3:48
  access,
• 3:49
  crack
• 3:50
  that
• 3:50
  open
• 3:50
  so
• 3:51
  you
• 3:51
  leak
• 3:51
  heat
• 3:52
  up
• 3:52
  into
• 3:52
  that
• 3:53
  space
• 3:53
  up
• 3:53
  there.
• 3:54
  Now
• 3:54
  that
• 3:54
  could
• 3:55
  cause
• 3:55
  other
• 3:55
  problems.
• 3:56
  So
• 3:56
  there
• 3:57
  is
• 3:57
  a
• 3:57
  risk
• 3:57
  with
• 3:57
  this.
• 3:58
  This
• 3:58
  could
• 3:59
  cause
• 3:59
  some
• 3:59
  ice
• 3:59
  damming
• 4:00
  and
• 4:00
  things
• 4:00
  like
• 4:00
  that.
• 4:00
  We're
• 4:00
  going
• 4:01
  to
• 4:01
  melt
• 4:01
  it
• 4:01
  on
• 4:02
  the
• 4:02
  roof
• 4:02
  surface.
• 4:03
  It's
• 4:03
  going
• 4:03
  to
• 4:03
  come
• 4:03
  down,
• 4:04
  hit
• 4:04
  the
• 4:04
  eaves
• 4:05
  where
• 4:05
  it's
• 4:05
  cold
• 4:06
  and
• 4:06
  freeze
• 4:06
  back
• 4:06
  up
• 4:07
  again.
• 4:07
  So
• 4:08
  just
• 4:08
  a
• 4:08
  little
• 4:09
  bit.
• 4:09
  We
• 4:09
  just
• 4:09
  want
• 4:09
  to
• 4:09
  keep
• 4:10
  that
• 4:10
  above
• 4:10
  freezing.
• 4:10
  We
• 4:11
  don't
• 4:11
  need
• 4:11
  to
• 4:11
  open
• 4:11
  it
• 4:11
  up.
• 4:12
  So
• 4:12
  give
• 4:12
  it
• 4:13
  an
• 4:13
  inch.
• 4:13
  It's
• 4:13
  probably
• 4:14
  all
• 4:14
  you
• 4:14
  need
• 4:15
  to
• 4:15
  get
• 4:15
  enough
• 4:15
  heat
• 4:15
  up
• 4:15
  there
• 4:16
  to
• 4:16
  keep
• 4:16
  that
• 4:16
  above
• 4:17
  freezing.
• 4:18
  If
• 4:18
  your
• 4:18
  pipes
• 4:18
  are
• 4:19
  going
• 4:19
  through
• 4:19
  that
• 4:19
  attic
• 4:20
  space
• 4:20
  above
• 4:21
  your
• 4:21
  living
• 4:21
  area.
• 4:22
  So
• 4:22
  really
• 4:23
  we're
• 4:23
  just
• 4:23
  trying
• 4:23
  to
• 4:23
  do
• 4:23
  that.
• 4:24
  And
• 4:24
  at
• 4:24
  night,
• 4:24
  if
• 4:24
  you're
• 4:25
  getting
• 4:25
  below
• 4:25
  freezing,
• 4:26
  make
• 4:26
  sure
• 4:26
  on
• 4:27
  all
• 4:27
  the
• 4:27
  exterior
• 4:27
  walls,
• 4:28
  if
• 4:28
  you've
• 4:29
  got
• 4:29
  a
• 4:29
  bathroom
• 4:30
  or
• 4:30
  a
• 4:30
  laundry
• 4:31
  or
• 4:31
  a
• 4:31
  kitchen
• 4:32
  sink,
• 4:33
  just
• 4:33
  crank
• 4:33
  that
• 4:34
  water
• 4:34
  on
• 4:34
  just
• 4:35
  a
• 4:35
  little
• 4:35
  bit.
• 4:36
  That
• 4:37
  way
• 4:37
  you
• 4:37
  can
• 4:37
  keep
• 4:37
  the
• 4:37
  water
• 4:38
  moving
• 4:38
  and
• 4:39
  do
• 4:39
  everything
• 4:39
  with
• 4:39
  that
• 4:40
  and
• 4:40
  keep
• 4:40
  it
• 4:40
  going.
• 4:40
  Good.
• 4:41
  Now
• 4:41
  I
• 4:41
  talked
• 4:42
  about
• 4:42
  this
• 4:43
  in
• 4:43
  North
• 4:43
  Carol
• 4:45
  a
• 4:45
  couple
• 4:45
  days
• 4:45
  ago
• 4:45
  on
• 4:46
  their
• 4:46
  news,
• 4:46
  but
• 4:46
  really
• 4:47
  if
• 4:47
  you've
• 4:47
  got
• 4:47
  outdoor
• 4:48
  faucets
• 4:48
  with
• 4:49
  a
• 4:49
  hose
• 4:49
  hooked
• 4:49
  up
• 4:49
  to
• 4:49
  it,
• 4:50
  disconnect
• 4:51
  that.
• 4:51
  That
• 4:52
  should
• 4:52
  have
• 4:52
  been
• 4:52
  the
• 4:52
  first
• 4:52
  thing
• 4:52
  you
• 4:53
  did.
• 4:53
  When
• 4:53
  you
• 4:53
  see
• 4:53
  that
• 4:53
  you're
• 4:53
  getting
• 4:54
  towards
• 4:54
  freezing,
• 4:55
  disconnect
• 4:56
  that
• 4:56
  out
• 4:56
  there,
• 4:57
  unhook
• 4:57
  that
• 4:58
  hose
• 4:58
  and
• 4:59
  then
• 4:59
  make
• 4:59
  sure.
• 4:59
  If
• 4:59
  you've
• 5:00
  got
• 5:00
  an
• 5:00
  older
• 5:01
  house
• 5:01
  that
• 5:01
  doesn't
• 5:01
  have
• 5:02
  your
• 5:02
  traditional
• 5:03
  frost
• 5:03
  free
• 5:04
  hose
• 5:04
  bib
• 5:04
  outside,
• 5:05
  cover
• 5:06
  up
• 5:06
  those
• 5:06
  things.
• 5:06
  You
• 5:07
  know,
• 5:07
  if
• 5:07
  you
• 5:07
  don't
• 5:07
  have
• 5:08
  any
• 5:08
  of
• 5:08
  the
• 5:08
  covers,
• 5:09
  get
• 5:09
  out
• 5:09
  there
• 5:10
  with,
• 5:10
  you
• 5:10
  know,
• 5:10
  a
• 5:11
  sweatshirt,
• 5:11
  wrap
• 5:11
  it
• 5:12
  around
• 5:12
  there
• 5:12
  until
• 5:13
  you
• 5:13
  can
• 5:13
  get
• 5:13
  some
• 5:14
  covers
• 5:14
  that'll
• 5:15
  keep
• 5:15
  that
• 5:15
  from
• 5:15
  freezing.
• 5:16
  Now
• 5:16
  what
• 5:16
  happens
• 5:16
  if
• 5:16
  you've
• 5:17
  got
• 5:17
  a
• 5:17
  frozen
• 5:17
  pipe?
• 5:18
  You're
• 5:18
  like,
• 5:18
  I
• 5:18
  have
• 5:19
  no
• 5:19
  water
• 5:19
  coming
• 5:20
  out
• 5:20
  of
• 5:20
  here.
• 5:20
  Well,
• 5:21
  here's
• 5:21
  the
• 5:21
  thing.
• 5:22
  If
• 5:22
  that's
• 5:23
  copper
• 5:24
  CPVC,
• 5:25
  it's
• 5:26
  about
• 5:26
  a
• 5:26
  50,
• 5:26
  50
• 5:27
  chance
• 5:27
  that
• 5:27
  if
• 5:28
  you
• 5:28
  got
• 5:28
  a
• 5:28
  hard
• 5:28
  freeze,
• 5:29
  you've
• 5:29
  got
• 5:29
  a
• 5:30
  split
• 5:30
  pipe
• 5:30
  or
• 5:31
  a
• 5:31
  broken
• 5:31
  pipe
• 5:32
  someplace,
• 5:33
  now
• 5:33
  you're
• 5:33
  not
• 5:33
  going
• 5:33
  to
• 5:34
  find
• 5:34
  it
• 5:34
  until
• 5:35
  that
• 5:36
  ends
• 5:36
  up,
• 5:37
  you
• 5:37
  know,
• 5:37
  unthawing
• 5:38
  and
• 5:38
  opening
• 5:39
  up.
• 5:39
  And
• 5:39
  then
• 5:40
  you're
• 5:40
  going
• 5:40
  to
• 5:40
  have
• 5:40
  some
• 5:40
  repairs
• 5:41
  to
• 5:41
  be
• 5:41
  made.
• 5:42
  So
• 5:42
  if
• 5:42
  you
• 5:42
  think
• 5:43
  that
• 5:43
  you're
• 5:43
  like,
• 5:43
  hey,
• 5:44
  I've
• 5:45
  got
• 5:45
  broken
• 5:45
  pipes
• 5:46
  or
• 5:46
  I
• 5:46
  could
• 5:47
  have,
• 5:47
  I've
• 5:47
  got
• 5:48
  at
• 5:48
  least
• 5:48
  frozen.
• 5:48
  If
• 5:48
  you
• 5:49
  can
• 5:49
  turn
• 5:49
  the
• 5:49
  heat
• 5:49
  up
• 5:49
  in
• 5:49
  the
• 5:50
  house
• 5:50
  to
• 5:51
  see
• 5:51
  if
• 5:51
  you
• 5:51
  can
• 5:51
  keep
• 5:51
  that
• 5:52
  a
• 5:52
  little
• 5:52
  bit
• 5:52
  better
• 5:53
  and
• 5:53
  see
• 5:53
  if
• 5:53
  you
• 5:53
  can
• 5:54
  unthaw
• 5:54
  it,
• 5:54
  that's
• 5:55
  one
• 5:55
  thing.
• 5:55
  But
• 5:56
  if
• 5:56
  you
• 5:56
  got
• 5:56
  a
• 5:56
  hard
• 5:56
  freeze,
• 5:57
  I
• 5:58
  would
• 5:58
  make
• 5:58
  sure
• 5:58
  one,
• 5:59
  you
• 5:59
  know
• 5:59
  how
• 5:59
  to
• 5:59
  turn
• 5:59
  the
• 6:00
  water
• 6:00
  off
• 6:00
  at
• 6:00
  your
• 6:00
  house.
• 6:01
  Second
• 6:01
  of
• 6:01
  all,
• 6:02
  it
• 6:02
  might
• 6:02
  be
• 6:02
  smart
• 6:02
  just
• 6:03
  to
• 6:03
  turn
• 6:03
  it
• 6:03
  off.
• 6:03
  Especially
• 6:04
  where
• 6:04
  we're
• 6:04
  coming
• 6:05
  out
• 6:05
  of
• 6:05
  this
• 6:05
  in
• 6:06
  a
• 6:06
  day
• 6:06
  or
• 6:06
  two.
• 6:06
  Depending
• 6:07
  on
• 6:07
  your
• 6:07
  weather
• 6:07
  and
• 6:07
  where
• 6:07
  you're
• 6:08
  located,
• 6:09
  this
• 6:09
  could
• 6:09
  be
• 6:09
  the
• 6:09
  place
• 6:10
  that
• 6:10
  you
• 6:10
  want
• 6:10
  to
• 6:10
  turn
• 6:10
  the
• 6:10
  water
• 6:11
  off
• 6:11
  and
• 6:12
  go,
• 6:12
  okay,
• 6:12
  I'm
• 6:12
  gonna
• 6:13
  stop
• 6:13
  the
• 6:13
  damage
• 6:13
  right
• 6:14
  now.
• 6:14
  We'll
• 6:14
  let
• 6:15
  this
• 6:15
  warm
• 6:15
  up
• 6:16
  and
• 6:16
  I'll
• 6:16
  get
• 6:16
  a
• 6:16
  plumber
• 6:17
  out
• 6:17
  there.
• 6:17
  Now
• 6:18
  the
• 6:18
  thing
• 6:18
  you
• 6:18
  can
• 6:18
  do
• 6:18
  too
• 6:19
  is
• 6:20
  learn
• 6:20
  how
• 6:20
  to
• 6:21
  do
• 6:21
  fixing
• 6:22
  broken
• 6:23
  pipes.
• 6:23
  Now
• 6:24
  if
• 6:24
  it's
• 6:24
  cpvc,
• 6:26
  yeah,
• 6:26
  that,
• 6:26
  that.
• 6:27
  I
• 6:27
  hate
• 6:27
  working
• 6:27
  with
• 6:28
  that
• 6:28
  stuff.
• 6:28
  I'd
• 6:29
  much
• 6:29
  rather
• 6:29
  work
• 6:29
  with
• 6:29
  copper.
• 6:30
  CPVC
• 6:31
  is
• 6:31
  that
• 6:31
  yellow
• 6:32
  PVC
• 6:33
  pipe
• 6:33
  that's
• 6:33
  rated
• 6:34
  for
• 6:34
  household
• 6:35
  use.
• 6:36
  Problem
• 6:36
  is
• 6:36
  it's
• 6:36
  brittle,
• 6:37
  it
• 6:37
  breaks,
• 6:37
  it
• 6:37
  splits.
• 6:38
  You
• 6:38
  could
• 6:39
  be
• 6:39
  doing
• 6:39
  a
• 6:39
  lot
• 6:39
  of
• 6:39
  work
• 6:40
  underneath
• 6:40
  there.
• 6:41
  Now
• 6:41
  yes,
• 6:41
  you're
• 6:41
  going
• 6:41
  to
• 6:42
  cut
• 6:42
  it,
• 6:42
  prime
• 6:42
  it,
• 6:42
  glue
• 6:43
  it
• 6:43
  with
• 6:43
  the
• 6:43
  CPV
• 6:44
  cement
• 6:45
  and
• 6:45
  stuff
• 6:45
  like
• 6:46
  that.
• 6:46
  But
• 6:47
  man,
• 6:47
  once
• 6:47
  that
• 6:47
  stuff
• 6:48
  breaks,
• 6:48
  it
• 6:49
  shatters,
• 6:49
  it's
• 6:49
  like
• 6:50
  glass.
• 6:50
  So
• 6:51
  it's
• 6:51
  not
• 6:51
  my
• 6:51
  favorite.
• 6:52
  I
• 6:52
  would
• 6:52
  much
• 6:52
  rather
• 6:52
  have
• 6:53
  copper
• 6:53
  to
• 6:53
  get
• 6:53
  down
• 6:54
  there.
• 6:54
  Now
• 6:54
  if
• 6:54
  you're
• 6:55
  going
• 6:55
  to
• 6:55
  do
• 6:55
  a
• 6:55
  temp
• 6:55
  fix,
• 6:56
  those
• 6:56
  shark
• 6:56
  bite
• 6:57
  push
• 6:57
  to
• 6:57
  connect
• 6:57
  fittings
• 6:58
  work,
• 6:58
  but
• 6:59
  those
• 6:59
  are
• 6:59
  a
• 6:59
  temporary
• 7:00
  fix
• 7:00
  that'll
• 7:01
  get
• 7:01
  your
• 7:01
  water
• 7:01
  back
• 7:02
  on
• 7:02
  in
• 7:02
  the
• 7:02
  house.
• 7:02
  But
• 7:03
  you
• 7:03
  want
• 7:03
  to
• 7:03
  go
• 7:03
  back
• 7:04
  down
• 7:04
  there
• 7:04
  and
• 7:05
  sweat
• 7:05
  with
• 7:05
  a
• 7:06
  torch
• 7:06
  and
• 7:07
  get
• 7:07
  that
• 7:07
  going.
• 7:08
  So
• 7:08
  I've,
• 7:09
  I'll
• 7:09
  put
• 7:09
  a
• 7:09
  video
• 7:09
  up
• 7:10
  on
• 7:10
  our
• 7:10
  around
• 7:10
  the
• 7:11
  house
• 7:11
  online
• 7:11
  page
• 7:12
  so
• 7:12
  you
• 7:13
  can
• 7:13
  see
• 7:13
  how
• 7:13
  to
• 7:13
  do
• 7:13
  that.
• 7:13
  I've
• 7:14
  done
• 7:14
  some
• 7:14
  videos
• 7:14
  with
• 7:15
  that
• 7:15
  in
• 7:15
  the
• 7:15
  past.
• 7:16
  I'll
• 7:16
  put
• 7:16
  one
• 7:16
  up
• 7:16
  there
• 7:17
  for
• 7:17
  you
• 7:17
  so
• 7:17
  you
• 7:18
  know
• 7:18
  how
• 7:18
  to
• 7:18
  do
• 7:18
  it.
• 7:18
  And
• 7:19
  just
• 7:19
  be
• 7:19
  careful.
• 7:20
  You
• 7:20
  don't
• 7:20
  want
• 7:20
  that
• 7:20
  torch
• 7:21
  to
• 7:21
  light
• 7:21
  something
• 7:21
  on
• 7:21
  fire.
• 7:22
  Now
• 7:22
  one
• 7:23
  of
• 7:23
  the
• 7:23
  biggest
• 7:23
  mistakes
• 7:23
  you
• 7:24
  can
• 7:24
  do
• 7:24
  is
• 7:24
  putting
• 7:25
  big
• 7:25
  heaters
• 7:25
  under
• 7:26
  the
• 7:26
  house.
• 7:26
  And
• 7:27
  here's
• 7:27
  why
• 7:28
  you
• 7:28
  don't
• 7:29
  want
• 7:29
  to
• 7:29
  be
• 7:29
  in
• 7:29
  the
• 7:29
  house
• 7:30
  when
• 7:30
  you're
• 7:31
  putting
• 7:31
  heaters
• 7:32
  under
• 7:32
  the
• 7:32
  house,
• 7:32
  especially
• 7:33
  when
• 7:34
  they're
• 7:35
  propane
• 7:36
  or
• 7:36
  their
• 7:36
  diesel
• 7:37
  or
• 7:38
  whatever,
• 7:38
  if
• 7:39
  they
• 7:39
  are
• 7:39
  consuming
• 7:40
  a
• 7:41
  fuel,
• 7:41
  I
• 7:42
  don't
• 7:42
  like
• 7:42
  putting
• 7:42
  those
• 7:42
  in
• 7:43
  enclosed
• 7:43
  spaces
• 7:43
  because
• 7:44
  that
• 7:44
  can
• 7:44
  put
• 7:44
  carbon
• 7:44
  monoxide
• 7:45
  up
• 7:45
  into
• 7:45
  the
• 7:46
  house.
• 7:47
  And
• 7:47
  that
• 7:47
  also
• 7:47
  can
• 7:47
  be
• 7:48
  a
• 7:48
  huge
• 7:48
  fire
• 7:48
  danger
• 7:49
  down
• 7:49
  below,
• 7:49
  too.
• 7:50
  So
• 7:50
  be
• 7:50
  very,
• 7:51
  very
• 7:51
  careful.
• 7:52
  You
• 7:52
  can
• 7:52
  create
• 7:53
  a
• 7:53
  space
• 7:53
  down
• 7:53
  there
• 7:54
  where
• 7:54
  you
• 7:54
  go
• 7:54
  down
• 7:54
  there
• 7:54
  and
• 7:55
  you
• 7:55
  make
• 7:55
  yourself
• 7:55
  sick
• 7:56
  or
• 7:56
  worse.
• 7:57
  So
• 7:57
  it's
• 7:57
  going
• 7:57
  to
• 7:57
  consume
• 7:58
  the
• 7:58
  oxygen.
• 7:59
  And
• 7:59
  second
• 7:59
  of
• 8:00
  all,
• 8:00
  here's
• 8:01
  the
• 8:01
  big
• 8:01
  one.
• 8:01
  It's
• 8:01
  going
• 8:01
  to
• 8:02
  put
• 8:02
  out
• 8:02
  carbon
• 8:02
  monoxide,
• 8:03
  which
• 8:03
  is
• 8:03
  deadly.
• 8:04
  So
• 8:04
  no
• 8:04
  heating
• 8:05
  with
• 8:05
  anything
• 8:06
  that
• 8:06
  combusts
• 8:07
  inside
• 8:07
  that's
• 8:07
  not
• 8:07
  venting
• 8:08
  it
• 8:08
  right
• 8:08
  outside,
• 8:08
  like
• 8:09
  your
• 8:09
  heating
• 8:09
  system.
• 8:10
  So
• 8:10
  be
• 8:10
  really
• 8:11
  careful.
• 8:11
  If
• 8:12
  you've
• 8:12
  got
• 8:12
  something
• 8:13
  that
• 8:13
  says,
• 8:13
  hey,
• 8:13
  you
• 8:14
  can
• 8:14
  use
• 8:14
  this,
• 8:14
  like
• 8:14
  some
• 8:14
  of
• 8:15
  the
• 8:15
  kerosene
• 8:15
  heaters
• 8:15
  that
• 8:16
  say
• 8:16
  it's
• 8:16
  rated
• 8:16
  for
• 8:17
  indoors,
• 8:17
  you
• 8:18
  still
• 8:18
  have
• 8:18
  to
• 8:19
  crack
• 8:19
  a
• 8:19
  window
• 8:19
  open
• 8:20
  to
• 8:20
  bring
• 8:21
  in
• 8:21
  oxygen
• 8:22
  because
• 8:22
  it
• 8:22
  is
• 8:22
  consuming
• 8:23
  oxygen
• 8:24
  and
• 8:24
  fuel
• 8:24
  in
• 8:25
  the
• 8:25
  space
• 8:25
  and
• 8:26
  it
• 8:26
  still
• 8:26
  does
• 8:26
  give
• 8:26
  off
• 8:27
  a
• 8:27
  little
• 8:28
  bit
• 8:28
  of
• 8:28
  carbon
• 8:28
  monoxide.
• 8:30
  So
• 8:30
  crack
• 8:30
  a
• 8:30
  window,
• 8:31
  turn
• 8:31
  on
• 8:31
  a
• 8:31
  bath
• 8:31
  fan,
• 8:32
  do
• 8:32
  something
• 8:32
  like
• 8:32
  that.
• 8:33
  So
• 8:33
  at
• 8:33
  least
• 8:33
  you're
• 8:34
  getting
• 8:34
  some
• 8:34
  fresh
• 8:34
  air
• 8:35
  in
• 8:35
  there.
• 8:35
  That's
• 8:36
  a
• 8:36
  big
• 8:36
  one
• 8:36
  right
• 8:36
  there.
• 8:37
  So
• 8:37
  just
• 8:38
  be
• 8:38
  very
• 8:38
  careful,
• 8:38
  guys,
• 8:39
  out
• 8:39
  there.
• 8:39
  When
• 8:40
  you're
• 8:40
  talking
• 8:41
  about
• 8:41
  winterizing
• 8:42
  that
• 8:42
  house,
• 8:42
  when
• 8:43
  you're
• 8:43
  in
• 8:43
  the
• 8:43
  middle
• 8:43
  of
• 8:43
  a
• 8:43
  storm
• 8:44
  like
• 8:44
  this,
• 8:45
  and
• 8:45
  try
• 8:45
  to
• 8:45
  keep
• 8:45
  it
• 8:46
  as
• 8:46
  warm
• 8:46
  as
• 8:46
  you
• 8:46
  can
• 8:47
  and
• 8:47
  keep
• 8:48
  the
• 8:48
  heat
• 8:48
  up
• 8:48
  to
• 8:48
  keep
• 8:49
  things
• 8:49
  from
• 8:49
  freezing.
• 8:50
  And
• 8:50
  then
• 8:51
  pay
• 8:51
  attention
• 8:51
  to
• 8:52
  what
• 8:52
  is
• 8:53
  going
• 8:53
  on.
• 8:54
  Because
• 8:54
  if
• 8:54
  it
• 8:54
  happens
• 8:55
  this
• 8:55
  year,
• 8:56
  could
• 8:56
  happen
• 8:56
  next
• 8:56
  year.
• 8:57
  So
• 8:57
  maybe
• 8:57
  this
• 8:58
  summer
• 8:58
  or
• 8:58
  this
• 8:58
  spring
• 8:59
  when
• 8:59
  the
• 8:59
  weather's
• 8:59
  a
• 8:59
  little
• 9:00
  bit
• 9:00
  better.
• 9:00
  You've
• 9:01
  got
• 9:01
  some
• 9:01
  projects
• 9:02
  to
• 9:02
  do
• 9:02
  around
• 9:02
  there
• 9:02
  to
• 9:02
  make
• 9:03
  sure
• 9:03
  that
• 9:03
  you're
• 9:03
  prepared
• 9:03
  for
• 9:04
  the
• 9:04
  next
• 9:04
  one.
• 9:05
  Because
• 9:05
  it's
• 9:05
  really
• 9:06
  strange
• 9:06
  you
• 9:06
  guys
• 9:07
  down
• 9:07
  there
• 9:08
  are
• 9:08
  having
• 9:09
  the
• 9:09
  winter
• 9:10
  of
• 9:10
  a
• 9:10
  lifetime.
• 9:11
  I'm
• 9:11
  up
• 9:12
  here
• 9:12
  in
• 9:12
  the
• 9:12
  Pacific
• 9:12
  Northwest
• 9:13
  where
• 9:13
  we
• 9:13
  usually
• 9:14
  have
• 9:14
  this
• 9:14
  stuff
• 9:14
  all
• 9:14
  the
• 9:15
  time.
• 9:15
  I
• 9:16
  haven't
• 9:16
  had
• 9:16
  really
• 9:17
  one
• 9:17
  flake
• 9:17
  of
• 9:18
  snow
• 9:18
  hit
• 9:18
  the
• 9:18
  ground
• 9:18
  and
• 9:18
  stay
• 9:19
  here.
• 9:19
  And
• 9:20
  if
• 9:20
  anything,
• 9:20
  it's
• 9:21
  probably
• 9:21
  one
• 9:21
  of
• 9:22
  our
• 9:22
  driest
• 9:22
  January's
• 9:23
  on
• 9:23
  record.
• 9:24
  So
• 9:24
  the
• 9:24
  whole
• 9:25
  west
• 9:25
  coast
• 9:25
  is
• 9:25
  dealing
• 9:25
  with
• 9:26
  that.
• 9:26
  Hopefully
• 9:26
  we'll
• 9:26
  get
• 9:26
  some
• 9:27
  precipitation
• 9:27
  here
• 9:28
  soon
• 9:28
  so
• 9:28
  we
• 9:29
  can
• 9:29
  get
• 9:29
  California
• 9:30
  out
• 9:30
  of
• 9:30
  this
• 9:31
  wildfire
• 9:31
  situation
• 9:32
  and
• 9:32
  the
• 9:33
  rest
• 9:33
  of
• 9:33
  us
• 9:33
  from
• 9:33
  sliding
• 9:34
  into
• 9:34
  that
• 9:34
  same
• 9:34
  one
• 9:35
  because
• 9:35
  it
• 9:35
  has
• 9:36
  been
• 9:36
  dry.
• 9:37
  So
• 9:37
  hopefully
• 9:37
  we
• 9:37
  can
• 9:38
  get
• 9:38
  that
• 9:38
  dialed
• 9:39
  in.
• 9:39
  All
• 9:39
  right,
• 9:40
  everybody,
• 9:40
  if
• 9:40
  you
• 9:40
  want
• 9:40
  to
• 9:40
  find
• 9:40
  out
• 9:41
  more
• 9:41
  about
• 9:41
  us,
• 9:41
  head
• 9:41
  over
• 9:42
  to
• 9:42
  aroundthehouse
• 9:43
  online.com
• 9:43
  and
• 9:44
  all
• 9:44
  you
• 9:44
  podcast
• 9:44
  listeners.
• 9:45
  For
• 9:45
  just
• 9:46
  $4
• 9:46
  a
• 9:46
  month,
• 9:47
  you
• 9:47
  can
• 9:48
  sit
• 9:48
  here
• 9:48
  and
• 9:49
  get
• 9:49
  all
• 9:49
  of
• 9:49
  our
• 9:50
  shows
• 9:50
  commercial
• 9:50
  free.
• 9:51
  And
• 9:51
  then
• 9:51
  you
• 9:51
  have
• 9:52
  access
• 9:52
  to
• 9:52
  the
• 9:52
  back
• 9:52
  catalog
• 9:54
  as
• 9:54
  well.
• 9:55
  Now,
• 9:55
  this
• 9:55
  is
• 9:55
  a
• 9:55
  big
• 9:55
  one.
• 11:37
  You
• 11:37
  get
• 11:38
  the
• 11:38
  show
• 11:38
  two
• 11:38
  days
• 11:38
  early,
• 11:39
  so
• 11:39
  you
• 11:39
  would
• 11:40
  get
• 9:59
  it
• 11:40
  Thursday
• 11:41
  at
• 11:41
  the
• 11:41
  regular
• 11:42
  release
• 11:42
  time
• 11:43
  instead
• 11:43
  of
• 11:43
  Saturday.
• 11:44
  So
• 11:45
  you
• 11:45
  can
• 11:45
  hear
• 11:45
  it
• 11:45
  early
• 11:46
  right
• 11:46
  there.
• 11:46
  And
• 11:46
  who
• 11:47
  doesn't
• 11:47
  like
• 11:47
  commercial
• 11:48
  free?
• 11:48
  All
• 11:48
  right,
• 11:48
  everybody,
• 11:49
  I'm
• 11:49
  Eric
• 11:50
  G.
• 11:50
  Thanks
• 11:50
  for
• 11:50
  tuning
• 11:51

• 11:51
  around
• 11:51
  the
• 11:51
  House.
• 11:52
  Stay
• 11:52
  safe
• 11:52
  out
• 11:52
  there.
• 11:53
  Keep
• 11:54
  your
• 11:54
  head
• 11:54
  up.
• 11:55
  It's
• 11:55
  gonna
• 11:55
  be
• 11:55
  a
• 11:55
  great
• 11:56
  weekend
• 11:56
  coming
• 11:56
  up.
• 11:57
  Let's
• 11:57
  enjoy
• 11:58
  it.
• 11:58
  We'll
