- 0:15Speaker 1: It's black men who are not talking badly about black women.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Let us keep our microphones and talk about stuff that's interesting,
- 0:21Speaker 2: interesting to us. I forgot to do this, but the

- 0:47Speaker 2: episode suggestions there because then I can just go back
- 0:49Speaker 2: through there and comb through because we don't need two
- 0:52Speaker 2: segments on top.
- 0:53Speaker 1: And then to.
- 0:55Speaker 2: All right, today we are doing our times ten Wayne's
- 1:01Speaker 2: Family movies. This could be anybody in the Wayne's family.
- 1:06Speaker 2: What is the best ten offerings their family has? And
- 1:09Speaker 2: they got acted it sometimes the waynes like Hollywood shuffle,
- 1:12Speaker 2: I believe.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It.
- 1:17Speaker 2: There we go, So they have to appear on camera
- 1:22Speaker 2: in the movie. All right, only ten though now together
- 1:26Speaker 2: they got a lot.
- 1:27Speaker 1: It's gonna be tough.
- 1:28Speaker 2: And this is a this is a Wayne's family loving pod.
- 1:33Speaker 2: So we can just show Hollywood shuffle in it.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Making it.
- 1:37Speaker 1: We're not ranking, by the way, we're just making it cut.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Hollywood shuffle really means a lot too, especially black people,
- 1:45Speaker 2: but black actors in Hollywood.
- 1:48Speaker 1: It really hits us for real.
- 1:51Speaker 2: And it was born from Robert Townsend really being like, man,
- 1:56Speaker 2: this is what.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I'm tired of this second of him?
- 1:59Speaker 1: Man of it? All right, Hollywood, tell for sure, we gotta.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Gonna get your sucking. You got to be right up
- 2:04Speaker 3: in there.
- 2:04Speaker 1: That's my favorite. I was just telling about.
- 2:07Speaker 3: This smack dab off up in there.
- 2:09Speaker 2: That's the first movie I remember watching. First comedy the
- 2:15Speaker 2: period period.
- 2:16Speaker 3: There's no comedy movies.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Yes, wow, And there's no reason I should have my listen.
- 2:22Speaker 2: When we was young, the TV watched us a lot,
- 2:27Speaker 2: and my aunt had a great DVD collection she had.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I'm going she was Joe's witness. Well, I don't understand yeah.
- 2:33Speaker 1: What.
- 2:33Speaker 4: She was a Joba's witness. She had a great DVD,
- 2:35Speaker 4: I mean a DVD VHS collection.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna get you. Suckle was on VHS, raided Joe.
- 2:40Speaker 1: She had rated r and was not caring.
- 2:43Speaker 4: But I love it when people don't stay true to
- 2:45Speaker 4: the religious guidelines.
- 2:47Speaker 3: I love it. I love it.
- 2:48Speaker 4: How y'all pick and choose what you're finn to do
- 2:51Speaker 4: with what you're not finn to do, but still be
- 2:53Speaker 4: within the religion. I see it all the time. This
- 2:57Speaker 4: is why I'm religion free. I get do what I want.
- 3:00Speaker 4: I believe in God.
- 3:01Speaker 3: That's it.
- 3:02Speaker 1: You believe in God and be like man. But I
- 3:04Speaker 1: believe in sin as well. I gotta dabble.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I've done it.
- 3:08Speaker 2: We've all the Bible says, all have fallen. All right,
- 3:15Speaker 2: I'm gonna get you Sucker's no way, it's coming off.
- 3:17Speaker 3: The listen, no slidied?
- 3:18Speaker 1: All right? What you got him?
- 3:19Speaker 3: Er three? Uh, I'm doing the obvious joints first.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Don't, oh, don't. Major pain could be in there too, don't.
- 3:29Speaker 2: All right, it's gonna get dicey. Towards the end of
- 3:32Speaker 2: the year, we're gonna start.
- 3:33Speaker 4: It's gonna it's gonna get dicey soon after we get
- 3:36Speaker 4: the tried and Trust be a minut.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Okay, you gotta put scary movie in there.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Gotta put the first one.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Is hear me out, y'all?
- 3:45Speaker 1: All right, I'm hearing you. I'm hearing you. Take it
- 3:47Speaker 1: to I think.
- 3:48Speaker 4: I think the Scary Movie one is better overall, But
- 3:51Speaker 4: Scary Movie two made me laugh more.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Which one is Regina haul in the movie theater? Was
- 3:59Speaker 1: that too?
- 4:00Speaker 3: I can't remember.
- 4:01Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Is too small take my strong the little hand Butler?
- 4:06Speaker 4: When I tell y'all that butler with the small hand,
- 4:09Speaker 4: take my hand? Me laughing so hard, so so so
- 4:17Speaker 4: two two gave me the hardest laugh because of that Butler.
- 4:20Speaker 4: But I have to give it the Scary movie is
- 4:22Speaker 4: the better overall movie.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It's too making it.
- 4:27Speaker 4: No, we ain't got we ain't got room for both
- 4:28Speaker 4: of them, because because I I'm I'm a fight for
- 4:33Speaker 4: my life on the Last Boy Scout okay with David Walliams.
- 4:36Speaker 1: I love the Last Boy Scout.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Last Boy Scout to me is.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Is saying one over two.
- 4:43Speaker 4: I would go one over two overall. But too made
- 4:47Speaker 4: too made me laugh harder because of the Butler. He
- 4:49Speaker 4: was funny, that butler man. But wait, my god, your
- 4:56Speaker 4: stuff and ship out of it, and I'm like, why
- 4:58Speaker 4: is he stuffing this turkey?
- 4:59Speaker 3: Like this?
- 5:02Speaker 1: All right?
- 5:02Speaker 4: You want to do Last Boy Scout next? Why you
- 5:04Speaker 4: have strong feelings about it? Last Boy Scout? Yeah, it's
- 5:08Speaker 4: in the Buddy Cop real. I like the I like
- 5:12Speaker 4: the chemistry between Bruce Willis and Damon waynams Uh.
- 5:15Speaker 3: The action was fire.
- 5:17Speaker 1: I like.
- 5:18Speaker 4: I like the way the movie looked. I like the
- 5:19Speaker 4: way it felt. I like how gritty it was. It
- 5:21Speaker 4: was written by Shane Black, who did Shane Black Predator.
- 5:26Speaker 3: You know, uh, nice guys.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Uh leave the weapon so it fits right in that vein,
- 5:33Speaker 4: and Last Boy Scout is probably my favorite. That's my
- 5:36Speaker 4: favorite Damon Wayne's movie for sure. More Money, More Money's killing.
- 5:41Speaker 4: More Money is not that strong. I love More Money.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Hazy Dash when we still liked her?
- 5:46Speaker 3: Was it more Money?
- 5:48Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the first time I saw Stacy's was good, God,
- 5:53Speaker 4: who is this?
- 5:55Speaker 1: Who is there?
- 5:58Speaker 4: Prior to Clueless, I couldn't I couldn't fathom. I was
- 6:01Speaker 4: just like, who is this woman? Who is this woman?
- 6:09Speaker 3: Y'all cast in this movie?
- 6:10Speaker 4: Jesus alright, low down, dirty shame, low down, dirty shame.
- 6:15Speaker 1: For sh'all gonna say that now, low.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Down dirty shame.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Keenan Ivory, Keen and Ivory. So we only got three
- 6:24Speaker 2: more slots left. We haven't put in blank Man, we
- 6:28Speaker 2: haven't put in more money. We haven't put in white Chicks.
- 6:31Speaker 2: We haven't put in Little Man, we haven't put in
- 6:32Speaker 2: Little Man. Requiem for a Dream, reck William six Man,
- 6:38Speaker 2: which which was at the University of Washington.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Senseless, Senseless, The Great White Height. I love that, Movieltic Pride. Okay,
- 6:48Speaker 4: see now that's eight and that's nine movies. I can
- 6:50Speaker 4: never hold up nine bamboozle.
- 6:53Speaker 2: What is this bamboozle? But we only got three slots.
- 7:03Speaker 3: White Chicks gotta go.
- 7:04Speaker 1: In there, really, Yeah, do you feel strongly about white chicks?
- 7:10Speaker 3: I like white chicks. I enjoyed it.
- 7:12Speaker 1: I just really stole the show that put him on
- 7:13Speaker 1: the map to me.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Yeah, he was great in that you not man, but
- 7:21Speaker 4: just with what white chicks means to a lot of people.
- 7:24Speaker 2: The House too on a House on the House one. Yeah,
- 7:29Speaker 2: if you're Crockett was funny.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I don't give.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Huh.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I feel like White Chicks was just has to be
- 7:42Speaker 2: in there. White chicks has to be in there.
- 7:44Speaker 3: When they was the Dominican dudes in the beginning.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Gotta go in there? Man who above the rim? Marlon
- 7:51Speaker 4: wasn't that he shot Tupac?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Is that a Wayne's movie?
- 7:56Speaker 3: Though?
- 7:56Speaker 1: I mean, I know what we said, like they're in there.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Oh, so we're not doing it.
- 8:00Speaker 1: If I was in G I Joe, he wasn't just
- 8:02Speaker 1: as an action he was.
- 8:03Speaker 3: In reck Wi for a Dream. A lot of people
- 8:05Speaker 3: talk about the movie a lot I've.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Never seen, but I feel like these are Wayne's family moves,
- 8:10Speaker 2: so we just focused on the I just feel like
- 8:12Speaker 2: these more represent them than like movie. Martin Martin was
- 8:16Speaker 2: in G I. Joe, But I don't feel like that's
- 8:18Speaker 2: a Wayne's family. That's just Martin. Wayne's in it.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Whit.
- 8:22Speaker 4: We're just doing this, dude, blank man, That's what I
- 8:25Speaker 4: was going. Man.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I was there, man, blank man is in there? Blank Man.
- 8:29Speaker 3: I watched that a lot.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Blank Man.
- 8:33Speaker 4: Kimberly, He's like, you're gonna wear a costume like a team.
- 8:42Speaker 1: What is Keith Headaches told me that joke.
- 8:44Speaker 3: That was more money Keith headed heads Joe.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Now I will fight for moment.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Let's put more money on there. You feel good with
- 8:53Speaker 3: more money?
- 8:53Speaker 4: Okay, I enjoyed more money. It was just I felt
- 8:57Speaker 4: like the tone. The tone was a been too serious
- 9:01Speaker 4: and more money. I feel like they didn't know which
- 9:03Speaker 4: way to go story wise. Yeah, it did get kind
- 9:06Speaker 4: of it was like, this is really serious.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it did get kind of dark.
- 9:09Speaker 2: But then when they was in the store acting crazy
- 9:12Speaker 2: to get the free soundar.
- 9:14Speaker 1: My man eights like bruh.
- 9:17Speaker 2: They were smacking the chips together and Mornic kept putting
- 9:20Speaker 2: the watch on his on his ankle, just high octane.
- 9:26Speaker 3: They had a good soundtrack.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Too, that was what all right, so far we got
- 9:33Speaker 1: Hollywood Shuffle. This is ten.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I want to make sure we feel good about ten.
- 9:37Speaker 2: We got Hollywood Shuffle. I'm gonna get you suck a
- 9:39Speaker 2: major pain, don't be a minute, scary movie, Last Boy, Scout,
- 9:43Speaker 2: Low Down, Dirty Shame, White Chicks, Blank Man, more money.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Now we have left the six man off. It's a
- 9:48Speaker 2: six man stronger than anything.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You feel for me.
- 9:53Speaker 4: I mean, it was solid, but I don't come back
- 9:55Speaker 4: to it at all. I come back to all of
- 9:57Speaker 4: this Patreon. Is there anything I feel strongly about? Dads
- 10:00Speaker 4: are black.
- 10:02Speaker 3: I've never seen it.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I never seen it either. Yeah, I didn't like that
- 10:05Speaker 1: actual movie.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Yeah, I haven't seen it.
- 10:08Speaker 4: And me uh oh thanks uh Mariah Jesus talking aboutout smile.
- 10:14Speaker 4: I didn't expect that we were talking. We was talking
- 10:16Speaker 4: serious business. We put don't be a minished, don't be
- 10:18Speaker 4: a mince.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Is in there for sure.
- 10:20Speaker 4: Major pain is in the CeNSE list. Do you feel
- 10:21Speaker 4: like Cints are pushing anything out?
- 10:24Speaker 3: All right?
- 10:24Speaker 4: I saw sense list in theater six tuplets had a
- 10:28Speaker 4: very funny scene when he was dancing.
- 10:30Speaker 1: But no, I like this list. Yeah, I feel good
- 10:33Speaker 1: about it.
- 10:33Speaker 3: I like it. It's a lot. It's a lot of Dave.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Damon is my favorite Wayans.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I saw Damon and Albuquerque one time, and it's.
- 10:39Speaker 3: A lot of Damon in this list.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Damon's great.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Yeah, Damon's great.
- 10:43Speaker 1: All Right, we feel good. That's the definitive list for
- 10:46Speaker 1: Kevin tom all right.
- 10:48Speaker 4: Shout out to the Wayans plan man. They give us
- 10:52Speaker 4: a lot of good entertainment. And this ain't even including
- 10:55Speaker 4: the TV, the Living Colors, Ways, brothers, my wife and kids.
- 10:59Speaker 1: Come on, that's the first family of comedy to me.
- 11:03Speaker 2: The track record period, not black just they have delivered
- 11:07Speaker 2: more to comedy to me than any other family.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I don't think it's even close.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Nobody's even in the stratosphere. Is there another family in comedy?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Ben Stiller, Jerry Stiller, Oh, I ain't need okay, Jerry Stiller, funny,
- 11:19Speaker 2: But I feel like for me personally, it's not even
- 11:22Speaker 2: really a competition.
- 11:23Speaker 3: There's no comparison. All right.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Next up? Is this movie better with the Rock in it?
- 11:30Speaker 3: Okay, this was gonna be a little bit different.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It's a little tougher now, all right, all right now,
- 11:35Speaker 2: and I'm gonna switch it up the Dark Knight franchise.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Is any of those movies better with the Rock? And
- 11:43Speaker 4: as any character of all three, I feel like the
- 11:48Speaker 4: Rock could be he could be one of the city
- 11:54Speaker 4: gangsters in Gotham City.
- 11:56Speaker 2: So like Michael John White's character, he could be gamble
- 11:59Speaker 2: you better with him. I feel like the Rock as bane.
- 12:04Speaker 2: The Batman the animated cartoon ban was huge.
- 12:08Speaker 3: The Rock could be a good bang.
- 12:11Speaker 2: He could be the I didn't buy Tom Hardy was
- 12:16Speaker 2: beating Batman up strength wise as his side. But the
- 12:21Speaker 2: Rock with the mask nobody cared who put the mask?
- 12:25Speaker 3: The Rock is bane.
- 12:27Speaker 2: But now band was carrying it on the acting too,
- 12:31Speaker 2: Like you know, remember the Wain scene. His face was covered,
- 12:36Speaker 2: That's true, but I still felt him. And he was like, like, so,
- 12:39Speaker 2: there's two Bane parts that I really love. They're not
- 12:42Speaker 2: even huge parts. The one is in the playing scene
- 12:46Speaker 2: when when your boy from the Wire, the mayor for
- 12:49Speaker 2: the Wires like uh saying something and Bane's like.
- 12:54Speaker 4: It would be bad. He's like, bet it would for you.
- 12:58Speaker 4: I was like, oh, what's up? And my my favorite
- 13:01Speaker 4: main moment, no, not in that well actually probably is
- 13:06Speaker 4: I'm in control here. He was like, yeah, do you
- 13:09Speaker 4: feel the control the moment? Dude was like, actually no,
- 13:14Speaker 4: I don't. All of a sudden, I don't feel like control.
- 13:16Speaker 3: You feel the control.
- 13:17Speaker 1: But the monologue the handleg man the man.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Yeah, do you feel it control?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Like, no, actually want chicken nuggets?
- 13:29Speaker 4: Now?
- 13:29Speaker 1: I would be good boy. I want.
- 13:32Speaker 2: But when my only issue is that monologue in the
- 13:38Speaker 2: in the Bellows of the City, mister Wayne, let's not
- 13:42Speaker 2: stand on ceremony like that part you really adopted the
- 13:46Speaker 2: dark Like can the rock pull off that? He can
- 13:49Speaker 2: pull off the bron he can pull off the fearless Leader,
- 13:52Speaker 2: but can he pull off that monologue the way Tom
- 13:55Speaker 2: Hardy does.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I would be honest with you.
- 13:58Speaker 4: I think Tom Hardy is one of the best actors
- 14:01Speaker 4: working today.
- 14:03Speaker 3: But that voice is a little silly.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Everybody had a problem with a lot of people had
- 14:09Speaker 1: a problem with the voice.
- 14:10Speaker 3: So I feel like the Rock's voice, his regular.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Voice wouldn't sound bad in the in those moments.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I agree. And the physicality, definitely.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Physicality is there. He's gonna look.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Huge because band was big. He was so big in
- 14:29Speaker 1: the in the count book.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Is he a Mexican band, Yeah, he's definitely.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But he had and the mask made him big. Batman
- 14:40Speaker 2: used to only beat him by cutting off the mask.
- 14:42Speaker 2: If the mask was plugged in, it was likes out
- 14:45Speaker 2: he'd be like.
- 14:48Speaker 4: When he started just being desperate swinging. But I feel
- 14:52Speaker 4: like the Rock, Uh, he's he's He's.
- 14:56Speaker 3: I wouldn't.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I'm not saying he's a better actor than Tom Hardy,
- 14:59Speaker 4: but I think he could have.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I think he could have been a really good band.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:04Speaker 2: I would have been more intimidated by him in band.
- 15:08Speaker 2: He for sure could have been one of the in
- 15:10Speaker 2: the Jokers, uh, the Meeting, he could have been Michael
- 15:14Speaker 2: jry White's character. I know his name is Gamble. I
- 15:18Speaker 2: don't know if he fits in Batman Begins anywhere.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Nah, Batman Begins. I don't see him in that movie
- 15:23Speaker 3: at all.
- 15:24Speaker 1: But Tom Hardy the Rockets Band.
- 15:28Speaker 3: I like The Rockets Band.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'll take it. Is it better.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Now that that that that would have to be seen
- 15:37Speaker 4: because I don't know if if the lines would hit
- 15:40Speaker 4: the same.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I feel like some things would hit better, some would
- 15:44Speaker 2: not hit as much. So it might be a different interpretation,
- 15:48Speaker 2: but not necessarily. But I don't think it's a bad interpretation.
- 15:52Speaker 3: If the rock doesn't overdo it.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Like his Black Atam, uh, the way he was in
- 15:59Speaker 4: Black Adam, if he had that turned up like, you
- 16:01Speaker 4: don't need Hobbs and Shaw the Rock.
- 16:04Speaker 2: You need a little bit more than Black Adam. But
- 16:07Speaker 2: on a rampage. Actually, band wasn't on a rampage. He
- 16:10Speaker 2: was just like super disciplined.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Yeah, he was disciplined, focused, I have a mission, this
- 16:15Speaker 4: is it. He didn't get emotional until he was his
- 16:18Speaker 4: mask right.
- 16:20Speaker 2: So and I hated that man. The one thing I
- 16:22Speaker 2: hate about that movie so bad. That's what takes that
- 16:27Speaker 2: meat out of that. You cannot get killed by another character.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Catwoman cannot she can you Actually, she can't even shoot Bane.
- 16:38Speaker 2: He broke Batman over his knee and tossed the mask off.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Batman can't beat him up and then walk past him.
- 16:45Speaker 2: And he gets shot by Catwoman on a motorcycle. That
- 16:48Speaker 2: was a cop out.
- 16:50Speaker 1: There's no redemption for Batman either. None of you gotta
- 16:53Speaker 1: break his back too. You can't just you can't just
- 16:57Speaker 1: another character, can't. Catwoman can be rosal Gull's daughter.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Yeah, for sure, you can take her out because y'all,
- 17:04Speaker 4: but it was bad versus Bane.
- 17:07Speaker 1: He was doing the push ups to fight Bane.
- 17:09Speaker 2: You can't just win one fight and then gets and
- 17:12Speaker 2: then and also Batman getting stabbed by rods All gold daughter.
- 17:15Speaker 2: I get it, but like y'all, y'all putting the people
- 17:19Speaker 2: against the wrong peopro they fumbled that third act, so
- 17:24Speaker 2: they ruined it for me.
- 17:26Speaker 1: That's why.
- 17:26Speaker 2: That's why it is the that's my favorite trilogy of
- 17:29Speaker 2: all time. But that's why that's your favorite trilogy.
- 17:33Speaker 1: That's my favorite trilogy. About to go off.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Oh yeah, see that's what gay from then.
- 17:41Speaker 2: That that's the three is when I they took me
- 17:44Speaker 2: out of the movie too much. I'm like, do y'all
- 17:46Speaker 2: know what a tomic bomb is. You can't drop that,
- 17:49Speaker 2: and just like, but our helicopter is going.
- 17:51Speaker 4: So even even with Dark Knight rises being that week,
- 17:54Speaker 4: you're still giving that the bs.
- 17:56Speaker 1: So Dark Knight, Dark Knight is good enough.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Carrying begins is right there.
- 18:03Speaker 1: For me, It's really just the third.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Act of the Game of Thrones level.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I was just about to say that they fumbled it
- 18:18Speaker 4: out the end zone better than.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Lord of the Rings.
- 18:21Speaker 4: That's flawless trilogy to me, better because I'm gonna tell
- 18:25Speaker 4: you why I couldn't the acting.
- 18:28Speaker 1: First of all, big Liam Neeson's fan.
- 18:31Speaker 4: So when Batman begins, I was like, okay, was perfect, great, and.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I always want to see Batman become Batman. They always
- 18:40Speaker 2: go He's there, flashback, He's the baby.
- 18:43Speaker 4: The in betweeneen nobody ever went to the in between.
- 18:48Speaker 2: So the legal Shadows all that, and then he got
- 18:50Speaker 2: a fight against Rossell Gold. He got they all the
- 18:52Speaker 2: leagal Shadows is destroyed, got them, they got one goal,
- 18:56Speaker 2: you and our way and again Dark Knight.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Dark Knight is flawless. My favorite movie of all time.
- 19:02Speaker 3: That movie is crazy.
- 19:03Speaker 2: So it's it's carrying a weighted average of the whole
- 19:05Speaker 2: trilogy and the Dark Knight Rises is good until it's not.
- 19:09Speaker 1: It should have just brought back for the Rises.
- 19:11Speaker 3: But it's never. It's never great.
- 19:15Speaker 1: It's great.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Lord of the Rings has no flaws.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I don't disagree. I don't disagree.
- 19:23Speaker 3: It's long. I mean, hey, but it's a good loan.
- 19:27Speaker 1: The thing as it is. But it never felt long.
- 19:31Speaker 3: It felt long. It was fumbling the bag.
- 19:34Speaker 2: The problem with Lord not the problem with Lord of
- 19:37Speaker 2: the Rings. Uh, it's not really a problem.
- 19:40Speaker 1: It's just.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I feel like the villains for the three Batman films
- 19:48Speaker 2: were perfect villains for where he was. Rosalul is his
- 19:52Speaker 2: mentor villain, Joker, he can't, He's gonna push you to
- 19:56Speaker 2: do bad. And then Baine, your Batman stuff doesn't work,
- 20:00Speaker 2: like didn't work for the last two. You couldn't beat
- 20:03Speaker 2: up Bane and Junker got beat up. He was like,
- 20:06Speaker 2: this is crazy. So Batman really can't do his stuff.
- 20:09Speaker 2: And I loved him seeing like that's like me not
- 20:12Speaker 2: being able to be funny. Like when I was in therapy.
- 20:13Speaker 2: One time I was doing jokes. She was like, is
- 20:15Speaker 2: this how you cope? And I was like, don't ask
- 20:17Speaker 2: me that it works in every other part of my life.
- 20:20Speaker 2: So I like seeing Batman like not able to do
- 20:23Speaker 2: his stuff the right way.
- 20:25Speaker 1: But that ending is so bad.
- 20:29Speaker 2: It is that third when you when you fumble the
- 20:33Speaker 2: final piece.
- 20:35Speaker 1: But it's my favorite. It's my favorite.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You can't.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Lord of the Rings was so long. Sometimes I just
- 20:42Speaker 1: I lost interest.
- 20:43Speaker 3: That's what it's all about. People that that fuss about
- 20:46Speaker 3: Lord of the Rings. They can't give me no true flaw.
- 20:50Speaker 3: They just be like, it's long, but that's all you got.
- 20:52Speaker 1: But long is a flaw. But the movie is too long,
- 20:56Speaker 1: and you I'm gonna give you the perfect example.
- 20:58Speaker 4: The third one is a bit too Yeah, because the Irishman,
- 21:03Speaker 4: the way.
- 21:03Speaker 3: It ended, it was just they closed every.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Loose in yes, and this kid was hungry. He had
- 21:10Speaker 2: a biscuit. I don't care. But Irishman is a perfect example.
- 21:14Speaker 2: If that movie is one of the that movie is
- 21:17Speaker 2: two movies. It's Robert de Niro's thing, and it's the
- 21:20Speaker 2: Jimmy Hoffer story. If they just told the Jimmy Hoffa story,
- 21:24Speaker 2: that's a great movie. Because it's three and a half
- 21:26Speaker 2: hours of two movies. It's not a great movie because
- 21:30Speaker 2: the longness takes you out of the like if I'm here,
- 21:32Speaker 2: even Oppenheimer, I was like.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Dog Oppenheimer is a one and done for me. Me too.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Once I'm thinking about the fact that I'm still here
- 21:43Speaker 1: because you came down. You know what it is, and
- 21:45Speaker 1: this is how I feel.
- 21:46Speaker 2: It's about if I take you, I say, yo, this
- 21:48Speaker 2: food is great, and we walk right in and eat
- 21:51Speaker 2: it and it's great.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It's great.
- 21:53Speaker 4: If I say this food is great, but we gotta
- 21:55Speaker 4: wait two hours outside, your perception of great is now better.
- 22:00Speaker 4: You had to wait so long for that bomb thing.
- 22:04Speaker 4: The food's not worth that weight. That's what that movie is, like, Nigga,
- 22:08Speaker 4: that I have done. Sat here for two hours.
- 22:10Speaker 2: It was cool, but it wasn't cool enough to warrant
- 22:13Speaker 2: how long I've been sitting with cool and how much
- 22:15Speaker 2: was left?
- 22:16Speaker 3: And you can find found footage of like actual looked better?
- 22:19Speaker 2: Yes, because I was the best part of that bomb.
- 22:24Speaker 1: The fact that you I thought the movie messed up.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I was like, damn, y'all really messed up at the
- 22:28Speaker 2: worst time, And then when it came in, I was like, oh,
- 22:32Speaker 2: I done, but yeah, get me out of here. I
- 22:34Speaker 2: had a much better time at Barbie. I was at
- 22:35Speaker 2: the time of my life in Barbie.
- 22:37Speaker 4: We gotta do an episode about trilogies because I'm not
- 22:39Speaker 4: dealt with this.
- 22:41Speaker 3: We got to do the best the third.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, but I'll tell you.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Who didn't fumble the third Lord of the Rings. This
- 22:51Speaker 4: is what I'm saying.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Man, I don't dislike Lord of the Rings. All I
- 22:56Speaker 2: said was not my favorite trilogy. I didn't say it's bad,
- 23:00Speaker 2: it's just not my favorite trip. I also don't go
- 23:02Speaker 2: back and rewatch Lord of the Rings. That might be
- 23:05Speaker 2: need you to go back, I'll go back. I remember
- 23:07Speaker 2: watching this now, hair, I'll be honest. I watched all
- 23:10Speaker 2: those in the theaters, and at the time, the third one,
- 23:13Speaker 2: I was like, all right, but it's such a compelling story.
- 23:16Speaker 3: I'm like, whoa.
- 23:17Speaker 4: And also there the steaks are like they're high for
- 23:21Speaker 4: them for sure, because surn versus this is just a
- 23:24Speaker 4: hobbit boy with the ring like he don't seem like
- 23:27Speaker 4: he could even do this.
- 23:28Speaker 3: What I liked about.
- 23:29Speaker 4: Lord of the Rings is that they gave everything closure
- 23:32Speaker 4: for sure, for sure, and even even even though it
- 23:35Speaker 4: took a long time to give every piece the closure
- 23:38Speaker 4: that it needed, I appreciated the fact that they were like,
- 23:41Speaker 4: all right, were closing up everything, closing up the beef
- 23:44Speaker 4: with Gollum, we closing up the battle with Saurron, We
- 23:47Speaker 4: closing up everything.
- 23:48Speaker 3: We bringing the Hobbits back, we bringing all this. It
- 23:51Speaker 3: was like, man, they really you know, no, no.
- 23:53Speaker 4: After this long journey we all took, were making sure
- 23:57Speaker 4: we squeezing the rag dry of everything.
- 24:01Speaker 3: So that's why I felt like extra long at the end.
- 24:03Speaker 4: But it was just like but even like the extended,
- 24:06Speaker 4: like they said, and here the extended directors cut with
- 24:09Speaker 4: even more in there. It was just like, man, these
- 24:11Speaker 4: are some good pieces. That to me because like they
- 24:17Speaker 4: they also had the benefit of filming all at once.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so that I feel like that Peter Jackson, they
- 24:23Speaker 2: were like, take the money.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Make it feel like it, turn it in.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Yeah, like he didn't have to, like you know, and
- 24:30Speaker 2: sometimes this is good because I feel like the second
- 24:32Speaker 2: Avatar was like first one.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I loved. Second one was like, all right, man, we
- 24:38Speaker 1: get it. The shots are cool, but we got it
- 24:41Speaker 1: a long time ago. He was like, no, man, And.
- 24:45Speaker 2: That's why I feel like long is a part of
- 24:47Speaker 2: the story. You gotta find the right time, low key.
- 24:49Speaker 2: I like the second one better.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Avatar really.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I feel like they First of all, it's fern Gully
- 24:58Speaker 4: to the map, but the second one introduce other other tribes,
- 25:02Speaker 4: and I was just like, oh, okay, it introduced us
- 25:04Speaker 4: to a different tribe, and so I was like intrigued
- 25:07Speaker 4: by oh, this is the water tribe. Bro here, okay,
- 25:10Speaker 4: take us in there. And then it connected us to
- 25:12Speaker 4: different like creatures that they were connected to.
- 25:14Speaker 1: So I was like, oh shit, nothing but water versions
- 25:17Speaker 1: of what they was doing.
- 25:19Speaker 3: But it made it. It just made it more interesting
- 25:21Speaker 3: because it was.
- 25:22Speaker 4: More than just you know, the white hero going into
- 25:27Speaker 4: the tribe again. That we got the first one, so
- 25:31Speaker 4: now we're already balls deep in this world already for sure,
- 25:34Speaker 4: for sure, and so I was like all right, and
- 25:36Speaker 4: then but the second one was better than I expected.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I agree.
- 25:40Speaker 4: I was just like, man, I don't want to see
- 25:42Speaker 4: this again. I was like, oh shit, this is good. No,
- 25:46Speaker 4: no so good, nothing, no argument, no argument.
- 25:50Speaker 2: I do would like to do trilogies. The thing is
- 25:52Speaker 2: Cam was saying this the third movie. Usually they usually
- 25:54Speaker 2: fumbled on the fumble because iron Man was great.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I loved iron Man. One of my favorite Origin film.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Three is better than two with iron Man. Two is
- 26:04Speaker 3: when he falls whip.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Last that I was gonna say, the that's Mickey Rourke, right, Yeah,
- 26:10Speaker 2: what's three?
- 26:11Speaker 3: Three is when they blew up his house?
- 26:14Speaker 4: But then, yeah, I hated that that Iron Man weak ones.
- 26:19Speaker 4: I would That's what I was gonna say. The first
- 26:22Speaker 4: one is so good, but the other two are like.
- 26:25Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Ain't nobody getting carried on my list?
- 26:29Speaker 1: What's your other ones?
- 26:30Speaker 3: Real?
- 26:30Speaker 4: Captain America's final two fire is not as bad as
- 26:36Speaker 4: we as we say.
- 26:37Speaker 1: I did go back and rewatch it. It's super simple.
- 26:40Speaker 3: It's better than we remember.
- 26:42Speaker 2: I agree, it stinks a little bit, but I remember
- 26:46Speaker 2: hating me to Two and three are to.
- 26:50Speaker 3: The mass head and shoulders better than.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Two and three are some of my favorite Marvel films.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Films period, but Marvel films by a large mark for sure.
- 26:59Speaker 2: But one is about maybe not as bad one is.
- 27:04Speaker 2: I'd rather watch Dark Knight rises than I would then
- 27:06Speaker 2: I would watch Captain.
- 27:07Speaker 1: America First, Avenger, you rather watch the Dark Knight? The
- 27:13Speaker 1: three is better?
- 27:15Speaker 2: But but two and three are are like it's a
- 27:18Speaker 2: winter soldier in Civil War there, it really is.
- 27:23Speaker 1: They had the helping.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Hand for sure.
- 27:25Speaker 1: If you didn't know that.
- 27:27Speaker 2: It's got like three people are not in I think
- 27:29Speaker 2: like like only a couple of people.
- 27:32Speaker 1: That's it.
- 27:33Speaker 2: But also what I love about Civil War is the
- 27:38Speaker 2: villain was perfect because he don't actually have power. He's
- 27:42Speaker 2: just he's in discord. You know what Nigga told you
- 27:46Speaker 2: that Niggas said you was ugly. He told you Cam
- 27:48Speaker 2: your hair actually ain't even long.
- 27:49Speaker 4: What you mean with your parents getting killed? I know
- 27:56Speaker 4: you didn't know what killed your parcel. Be me, couldn't
- 28:04Speaker 4: be me, You didn't know he was responsible.
- 28:07Speaker 3: That's crazy. You friends with casts like that? You friends
- 28:10Speaker 3: with the cast that killed your parents. That's crazy. Tone, Wow,
- 28:16Speaker 3: that's what we're doing.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Out is better man than me. Man, you're a better
- 28:20Speaker 4: man because love my parents. I don't care how he
- 28:23Speaker 4: ain't even my bud. That's your boys, that's your man,
- 28:27Speaker 4: that's your man.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Working with him. You breaking bread? Wow, that's crazy.
- 28:33Speaker 2: And Captain America's pompousness and loyalty. He's like, come on, Bucky,
- 28:38Speaker 2: you ain't told me. I didn't know, man, they said
- 28:40Speaker 2: the Russian rhyin ski. I don't know what I said.
- 28:42Speaker 3: What they one?
- 28:44Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm finding out too it's surprised.
- 28:47Speaker 4: He's surprised if they say the words right now, I'm
- 28:49Speaker 4: sowing out.
- 28:50Speaker 3: I'm not even here. I didn't know what I was doing.
- 28:53Speaker 3: Come on, man.
- 28:54Speaker 4: And that fight scene three, yeah, that.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Was an eight year old child in heaven when they
- 29:00Speaker 1: threw the shield.
- 29:02Speaker 3: That was fire they did. I have man thirty Man, they.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Jump, He's like scanned their fighting moves and he kicks
- 29:08Speaker 4: his ass.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Man.
- 29:09Speaker 2: We need to do a trilogy, So let's do a
- 29:11Speaker 2: trilogy joint. Batman is gonna be up there.
- 29:14Speaker 3: It should be, it should be up there.
- 29:16Speaker 1: But it's not the best, not the best, all right.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Indiana Jones had a good case until they started making
- 29:21Speaker 4: more two one wasn't terrible.
- 29:24Speaker 1: But you don't have to count for if.
- 29:26Speaker 4: We if we leave four and five off the table,
- 29:28Speaker 4: Indiana Jones is a solid.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Trilogy, even five for a trilogy.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, technically you can't have I feel like, yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 1: That this But Star Wars is it nine movies or
- 29:41Speaker 1: is it three trilogies? Who counted great?
- 29:45Speaker 3: And you feel like three trilogies?
- 29:47Speaker 1: The thing about Star Wars I feel I like the future.
- 29:53Speaker 3: What is it?
- 29:54Speaker 1: Okay? When Anakin becomes Darth Vader. What is that?
- 29:59Speaker 2: That's Revenge of Sift. I like Revenge of Sift better than.
- 30:05Speaker 3: The New Hope. The New Hope, I'll give you that. Yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 3: I like Revenge of the.
- 30:09Speaker 1: I wish I could do they could have win.
- 30:11Speaker 4: I wish say I just jumped to Revenge of the
- 30:13Speaker 4: Scythe and then a different story for the third one.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I just cut out yeahs that.
- 30:19Speaker 4: We wanted first Anakin, you're the chusing wine.
- 30:24Speaker 1: He was like, I ain't got no bottom legs.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Still cut my legs off. I'm still trying to kill you.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Just left them burning and missing the army like. He's like,
- 30:39Speaker 4: all right, and I gotta get the hell up out
- 30:41Speaker 4: of here, and showed it.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I gotta run.
- 30:45Speaker 1: He was like, don't do it.
- 30:46Speaker 4: The high ground, don't you do it. He was like,
- 30:48Speaker 4: I'll do I'll jump. I will cut your arm and
- 30:51Speaker 4: both legs off. A bad kid in that moment. You
- 31:01Speaker 4: can't do the jump. I have to cut your arms out.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Of the jump. Doog, I got the high ground. I'll
- 31:06Speaker 3: jump right now, I'm doing it. Don't do it. I
- 31:15Speaker 3: hate you. Then got burned out, was like.
- 31:23Speaker 1: My hair.
- 31:26Speaker 4: Now he was a black parrot. Now look now, look
- 31:29Speaker 4: at it. Now I'm the back guy and cut your
- 31:30Speaker 4: arm and leg and all your legs is all in
- 31:33Speaker 4: one of your ards and you ball hit it and
- 31:35Speaker 4: angry and you burn to Chris, I told you not
- 31:38Speaker 4: to jump. I'm leaving you here. I don't know what
- 31:41Speaker 4: you gonna do next. But that ain't my problem. I'm out.
- 31:48Speaker 1: I was watching that like he done, told you not.
- 31:51Speaker 2: To jump, told him, he told him, all right, next
- 31:54Speaker 2: one is the meet the parents? Better with the rock
- 32:01Speaker 2: in it?
- 32:03Speaker 3: Oh that's how we ended up over here? Okay, so
- 32:05Speaker 3: I forgot how we ended up where we was.
- 32:07Speaker 4: Atgent I don't see him fitting anywhere.
- 32:14Speaker 1: If what if he's Owen Wilson.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Oh the X X the rock would make a great
- 32:21Speaker 4: X for somebody to be insecure about.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Big.
- 32:24Speaker 2: He's got charisma, intimidating on Wilson, you know what I'm saying.
- 32:28Speaker 4: He wasn't really a threat, he just was the ex.
- 32:30Speaker 4: I think it's better with the rock with.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Owen Wilson's character. Yeah, yeah, that's what I was thinking, because.
- 32:36Speaker 4: I because I really feel like a lot of a
- 32:39Speaker 4: lot of men would be intimidated by the Rockets more
- 32:42Speaker 4: so than Wilson.
- 32:43Speaker 1: For sure.
- 32:44Speaker 2: He just The only thing that made him the old
- 32:46Speaker 2: Wilson thing was that her dad and on Wilson got along.
- 32:50Speaker 2: But on the standalone, think he's just like you know,
- 32:52Speaker 2: we was gonna get married, the lacker stuff like that.
- 32:55Speaker 2: But if the Rock is like, because he's fully charismatic,
- 32:59Speaker 2: he's big.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I don't he could play.
- 33:03Speaker 4: The Rock because if you if you look at him,
- 33:05Speaker 4: you the new boyfriend coming in.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Look this man like man.
- 33:08Speaker 4: He is shape, he tall, man, he charming. What what
- 33:15Speaker 4: what am I bringing to the thing?
- 33:17Speaker 3: And you're a man, your male nurse.
- 33:20Speaker 4: This dude is a is a guy and you're just
- 33:23Speaker 4: like man, come on, man.
- 33:26Speaker 2: I think it's also funnier, like, oh, Wilson was good.
- 33:30Speaker 2: But the Rocket add some comedic elements to that character.
- 33:33Speaker 3: We know he has that comedic gear.
- 33:36Speaker 2: He's funny and fast and furious. When he gets to
- 33:39Speaker 2: the speeding those things off, I'll be cracking up game.
- 33:44Speaker 3: That's one of his best. Nobody about he's.
- 33:47Speaker 1: Really fun in Jumanji. Yeah, for sure, he's great and
- 33:51Speaker 1: that I love.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Jamid for sure is great.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Jack Black, Kevin har Jumanji is undefeated. It really is,
- 33:57Speaker 2: even as the Robert Williams that was remake hasn't been
- 34:01Speaker 2: a bad Jumanji.
- 34:02Speaker 3: No, Jumanji is technically a sequel. It's not a remake.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Wait the Rocket, it's not a reboot. No, Well, what's
- 34:11Speaker 1: the differen between the sequel and remake?
- 34:12Speaker 4: Well, a sequel they continuing on with the story. A
- 34:15Speaker 4: remake is remaking the you know what.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Okay, so you're allowed it because it was it was
- 34:20Speaker 2: just a late sequel. Actually, you're right, because the game
- 34:23Speaker 2: just started again from with the new kid. Okay, So
- 34:27Speaker 2: you're taking the Rock and I think I think he
- 34:29Speaker 2: makes Meet the Parents better. Perfect Rock, all right. Last
- 34:33Speaker 2: one for this one is uh, Jurassic Park. Jurassic Park,
- 34:43Speaker 2: just one the original.
- 34:45Speaker 4: First Jurassic Hm hmm, I mean I can't. He can
- 34:51Speaker 4: fit in nicely. He could be Sam Jackson's.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I was thinking about that. It was either him or
- 34:59Speaker 2: the guy that kne played. But Newman was perfect for
- 35:02Speaker 2: that was great. Newman was just I couldn't take through.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I feel like his even his look, the way he
- 35:09Speaker 2: looks made him perfect for that role.
- 35:12Speaker 4: What about the Rock as the smarmy dude that died
- 35:16Speaker 4: on the Port of John when.
- 35:18Speaker 1: He was oh, the rich dude t rex ate him?
- 35:24Speaker 1: That dude gave me more slimy.
- 35:27Speaker 3: So we see the Rock as a slimy.
- 35:30Speaker 1: I feel like he's.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Too he's too charismatic and likable to be that guy
- 35:35Speaker 2: was perfect for that and I was rooting for the Donalds.
- 35:37Speaker 1: He could be might be better if the Rock was
- 35:39Speaker 1: a t Rex.
- 35:43Speaker 3: What about the Rock as that hunter?
- 35:46Speaker 1: Oh?
- 35:47Speaker 4: I forgot about him? What about the Hunter? I think
- 35:50Speaker 4: he would be a great hunter. Shoot that guy, clever girl.
- 35:56Speaker 3: And then clever girl. I think he would be a
- 35:59Speaker 3: great hunter.
- 36:00Speaker 1: I like that. I like that a lot. Yeah, I
- 36:04Speaker 1: think he would be I'll take it.
- 36:06Speaker 3: I think he I think girl. Yeah, because he looks
- 36:09Speaker 3: like a hunter.
- 36:10Speaker 1: He looks like Craving the Hunter. Yeah, he should be cravy.
- 36:13Speaker 1: He should be craving.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Give me a great cravy Cravey. And I think I
- 36:16Speaker 2: saw a trailer from Craven and I was like, man.

- 36:23Speaker 1: Y'all pissed me off? And where's the Gambit movie?
- 36:26Speaker 3: At many?
- 36:29Speaker 4: Gambit got so much charisma, the bone, the bow, he
- 36:34Speaker 4: got the he got a cool power that.
- 36:35Speaker 3: Would look good in movies just waging.
- 36:39Speaker 1: How did Night Crawler get a movie and Gambit don't

- 37:13Speaker 3: There the limit is he can't touch her, none of
- 37:16Speaker 3: that without putting his life in risk.
- 37:20Speaker 4: But that's compelling. What's the point that's compelling to get
- 37:23Speaker 4: a handy with the glove. She can give him a
- 37:25Speaker 4: hand job with the glove, but the skin on skin
- 37:28Speaker 4: can't have.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Hand ob with glove don't sound like fun either.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Maybe hand jobs are already tough from women anyway.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Most women can't pull it off. You're like the good handy.
