- 1:34Speaker 5: You know how we do.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Don't wait, don't hesitate that over now.
- 1:37Speaker 6: One of the things that I realize about any form
- 1:39Speaker 6: of entertainment or anything that you do, when you're in
- 1:41Speaker 6: front of people, it's a certain level of natural ability
- 1:44Speaker 6: that comes with that. But when people see that, the
- 1:47Speaker 6: things that it takes them I'm talking about weeks and
- 1:50Speaker 6: months to practice and try and you can just show
- 1:53Speaker 6: up out to get out the car, yawn.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Or what we doing I boom.
- 1:57Speaker 6: Those people immediately say, oh, well, we can't judged them
- 2:00Speaker 6: by the same parameters because fuck.
- 2:03Speaker 2: That, you know what I mean.
- 2:03Speaker 6: It was too easy for him. So now we got
- 2:05Speaker 6: to move the gold posts over here. Everybody else is
- 2:08Speaker 6: great if they get this accomplished. But since you accomplished
- 2:10Speaker 6: it so easy. You got to jump over six hurdles.
- 2:13Speaker 7: Now, were humble enough to know that we could be replaced,
- 2:18Speaker 7: but we're wise enough to know that came by the
- 2:21Speaker 7: fuck with.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Us, my graduates from my school being forced back drop
- 2:29Speaker 2: bag drop, Mike, drop back drop drop.
- 2:43Speaker 4: All right, gods, look, welcome back, e y l. This
- 2:46Speaker 4: is a family edition. We got eighty five South. We
- 2:48Speaker 4: got the whole team the first time.
- 2:53Speaker 3: I'm glad though, Yeah, that's a fact.
- 2:56Speaker 8: We fad.
- 2:57Speaker 4: So we had los and Chat on an episode. We
- 3:02Speaker 4: had cheek on an episode. Then we did eighty five
- 3:05Speaker 4: South three times after times. One time got lost, Yeah, lost,
- 3:11Speaker 4: lost foul.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Damn man. We just showed saying that type of ship
- 3:14Speaker 2: up here, or so they said.
- 3:21Speaker 4: But that's the first time d C has been this. Yeah,
- 3:24Speaker 4: y'all in New York and getting the hood.
- 3:28Speaker 7: Street and a lot of ages outside, bags outside, a lot.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Of bags outside me, ma'am.
- 3:41Speaker 4: But first and foremost, congratulations, man, y'all killing the game
- 3:44Speaker 4: right now.
- 3:46Speaker 7: Man' killing the game, man, man, And it's crazy.
- 3:50Speaker 9: We sit back and we peeped a little little uh
- 3:53Speaker 9: bits and pieces.
- 3:53Speaker 2: You know, we've been sending video clips to each other
- 3:56Speaker 2: and all that.
- 3:56Speaker 9: Man, we're real proud of y'all because we see how
- 3:58Speaker 9: far y'all come since Captain Meet Game all the way.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Appreciate it.
- 4:02Speaker 8: Outside of the media.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Says these shirts and that was that your merch. Now
- 4:09Speaker 3: we did. It's different now, you know what I mean.
- 4:13Speaker 3: That's why we said it's a family. Feel like y'all
- 4:15Speaker 3: even from a standpoint that we spoke about how chat
- 4:18Speaker 3: has helped to us with some of the business, even
- 4:20Speaker 3: from the entertainment side, with having Amy as a lawyer.
- 4:23Speaker 2: That was from y'all.
- 4:24Speaker 3: The Charlemagne relationship came through y'all, So this really is family.
- 4:27Speaker 3: And yeah, we only had one piece of merch, but
- 4:29Speaker 3: we watched y'all girl with.
- 4:30Speaker 2: The merger all the way.
- 4:31Speaker 3: That's and it's always been an open door with y'all too.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Most any time was like, Yo, we're in Atlanta, can
- 4:39Speaker 3: we come through? Of course, come through, even it didn't
- 4:42Speaker 3: matter what was happening on the schedule. So family feel
- 4:44Speaker 3: We appreciate you.
- 4:45Speaker 2: Y'all. Got to come check out the new spot we
- 4:47Speaker 2: we shot. We did four you know what I'm saying.
- 4:51Speaker 2: In the building, man, got all think come around the
- 4:54Speaker 2: back and shoot.
- 4:55Speaker 5: We got.
- 4:56Speaker 2: We got that's the fact. That's a fact for sure.
- 4:58Speaker 8: Most definitely bringing like two bottles and a the space.
- 5:00Speaker 9: We're gonna wear suits black time.
- 5:05Speaker 5: I feel.
- 5:06Speaker 4: So let's get into this man once again. Congratulations. I
- 5:10Speaker 4: want to start with this Netflix special because this is
- 5:12Speaker 4: something that's.
- 5:13Speaker 2: A big deal.
- 5:13Speaker 4: I don't want people to take it for granted. Nineteen Key,
- 5:17Speaker 4: you said, nineteen Keys. He brought up a very important
- 5:19Speaker 4: point where he was like, sometimes when you just do
- 5:22Speaker 4: things exceptional, it diminishes it. And our culture has a
- 5:26Speaker 4: way of minimizing things, right, Like somebody go to the
- 5:29Speaker 4: moon and they'd be like, all right, all the.
- 5:35Speaker 9: Time there nineteen Keys. Gotta come back to the episode
- 5:40Speaker 9: with nineteen Keys, Bro, they was on my ass.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Real, yes you gave time.
- 5:46Speaker 10: Always be objective, like, but what if a nigga don
- 5:50Speaker 10: start if you talking to an ignorant nigga who gonna
- 5:54Speaker 10: say this what you're gonna say and retort they didn't
- 5:56Speaker 10: watch enough of it to get to the end, small house.
- 5:59Speaker 8: I was fucking because I know, you know, come on.
- 6:05Speaker 9: The conscious community, that's great. I know that he is
- 6:13Speaker 9: well versed in his field. So I was just being
- 6:15Speaker 9: an objective like if we was outside and you was
- 6:18Speaker 9: talking to a nigga who didn't have the capacity like
- 6:20Speaker 9: I do. How would you talk to this nigga? And
- 6:24Speaker 9: then that was like made the conversation like broader. But
- 6:28Speaker 9: the ignorance come.
- 6:29Speaker 5: On you.
- 6:32Speaker 2: So ignorant. But people ain't got the conscious mind? Is
- 6:36Speaker 2: it is?
- 6:37Speaker 5: So how did this come about?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Because we watched y'all grow from beginning to now, but
- 6:42Speaker 4: this is a really big deal.
- 6:43Speaker 5: So how did does this Netflix special come about?
- 6:49Speaker 9: You know what the best? I mean, we sat around
- 6:53Speaker 9: and we thought about it. We were trying to kick
- 6:55Speaker 9: how did it come about? We didn't find them. He
- 6:58Speaker 9: found us. So it's like, you know, we we do
- 7:01Speaker 9: a lot of live shows and a lot of tours
- 7:02Speaker 9: and shit like that.
- 7:04Speaker 2: You know, we're all on the road doing comedy.
- 7:06Speaker 9: So somebody over there in Netflix picked up on one
- 7:09Speaker 9: of those shows and saw the numbers and what we
- 7:12Speaker 9: were doing. Because we have live shows that have hit
- 7:14Speaker 9: twenty fifteen thirty million, if you know, just on one
- 7:17Speaker 9: one live show. So they saw the numbers and they
- 7:21Speaker 9: saw the movement that we had going on. So they
- 7:25Speaker 9: reached out through some people kicked it back and forth
- 7:28Speaker 9: for a little bit, trying to make sure the business
- 7:30Speaker 9: was right, making sure it was the right look, make
- 7:32Speaker 9: sure we had the right amount of creative control, make
- 7:35Speaker 9: sure we had the right amount of you know, executive input.
- 7:39Speaker 8: So we kicked it.
- 7:40Speaker 9: Back and forth with them for a while, and then
- 7:41Speaker 9: once we got to some terms that you know, that
- 7:44Speaker 9: we could agree on, we felt like the brand had
- 7:48Speaker 9: grown enough where it was time to take it to
- 7:50Speaker 9: an even bigger platform.
- 7:52Speaker 3: So the I mean Netflix, I mean number one again,
- 7:55Speaker 3: congratulates for that, but appreciate that having the right time,
- 7:57Speaker 3: the right people.
- 7:58Speaker 2: You had the legend staying Laton directors.
- 8:01Speaker 9: And the crazy part is is like we know exactly
- 8:04Speaker 9: who he is, like where he stands on that you
- 8:08Speaker 9: know what I mean that Mount rushmore of especially for
- 8:10Speaker 9: the greats for comedians, Black comedians at that we're talking Martin,
- 8:14Speaker 9: We're talking Steve Harvey show talking back all with Samford
- 8:17Speaker 9: and Son Sandford and something so like legendary director, producer, writer,
- 8:23Speaker 9: What was that?
- 8:23Speaker 7: Like me?
- 8:24Speaker 2: And like is that the stem like you know this
- 8:26Speaker 2: is this is it?
- 8:27Speaker 3: Like there's no higher than this When it comes to
- 8:29Speaker 3: directing a comedy special.
- 8:31Speaker 9: It's like meeting like it's like it's literally like meeting
- 8:34Speaker 9: a piece of history. You get what I'm saying, He's
- 8:37Speaker 9: from that class of people will never get to talk to.
- 8:40Speaker 9: He got to work with the Richard Pryors and the
- 8:42Speaker 9: Red Foxes and Dick Gregory and like anybody that you
- 8:46Speaker 9: can name. It comed like yes, of course, like his
- 8:49Speaker 9: name is just synonymous with just black entertainment. And it
- 8:53Speaker 9: was great because we building our own movie, we're not
- 8:55Speaker 9: knowing that we all need people's radar. So when he
- 8:58Speaker 9: reached out, it was like anything I can do to
- 9:00Speaker 9: be involved. And this was years ago before we even
- 9:03Speaker 9: did the Netflix And then when it came to l
- 9:05Speaker 9: A and he wanted to, you know what I mean,
- 9:07Speaker 9: be a part of that.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Sort the l A show.
- 9:09Speaker 4: He was, so, how does that work as far as
- 9:12Speaker 4: the business side? You get paid up front or you
- 9:15Speaker 4: get paid like if it does well?
- 9:18Speaker 6: Streams said, you know you talked about we ain't got
- 9:22Speaker 6: no money.
- 9:23Speaker 8: You stop talking.
- 9:24Speaker 2: You don't never don't have to earn.
- 9:26Speaker 8: But I mean.
- 9:29Speaker 9: Speaking if it was you know, an ideal situation, we
- 9:32Speaker 9: would probably set it up where we would get some
- 9:35Speaker 9: money up front.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And something on the back end. I mean, I mean,
- 9:40Speaker 2: I wouldn't do the deal it was I would I mean,
- 9:45Speaker 2: I mean that's our logic.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it's the only way to do it.
- 9:48Speaker 3: So if it was your destructure, like that money up front,
- 9:51Speaker 3: money on the back of it based on the performance,
- 9:53Speaker 3: do we now look multi specials or like, how does
- 9:56Speaker 3: that work? Because putting out specials already just on Netflix.
- 10:00Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. Netflix, So that we win number one.
- 10:04Speaker 3: They like niggas that go number one.
- 10:06Speaker 2: They like that.
- 10:06Speaker 7: They like top ten well, they like top ten ship.
- 10:10Speaker 7: So when we call, they know we produce top ten ship.
- 10:14Speaker 9: The product is good. You know in the movies when
- 10:16Speaker 9: they cut the key opening and be like one, that's
- 10:20Speaker 9: exactly what.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I could do nothing to real we got something here.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Guys call it whatever you want, but you don't call
- 10:28Speaker 2: the blue magic.
- 10:29Speaker 4: So how you how you keep your relationship with your
- 10:31Speaker 4: Because you guys got a cult following. They put out
- 10:33Speaker 4: episodes every single week. I do a lot of live
- 10:35Speaker 4: show yourself merch. What's the key to cultivating a real
- 10:39Speaker 4: solid Because a lot of people have followers online, they
- 10:42Speaker 4: can't sell a T shirt. When you do things like this,
- 10:45Speaker 4: just lets us know that your followers are actually, you know,
- 10:47Speaker 4: really involved in you guys.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Authenticity.
- 10:51Speaker 6: It's authenticity, like it's the fact that people have watched
- 10:54Speaker 6: us from a stage that you know, prior to us
- 10:57Speaker 6: even doing this together. They've seen us and they've seen
- 11:00Speaker 6: the consistency of who we are as people, and you know,
- 11:05Speaker 6: we have been accessible throughout this time. So you meet
- 11:07Speaker 6: these people, they run into you, they see you, and
- 11:09Speaker 6: they express how what you do have made them feel,
- 11:13Speaker 6: and then you get to make them feel a certain
- 11:14Speaker 6: way in person, and then that people don't understand the
- 11:17Speaker 6: power that the carrier is. When you walk away, you're
- 11:20Speaker 6: not even gonna remember that that interaction happened, But this
- 11:22Speaker 6: person is going to tell everybody that they run into
- 11:24Speaker 6: for the next.
- 11:25Speaker 8: Two weeks, Hey man, you rock with this, You rock
- 11:27Speaker 8: with that.
- 11:27Speaker 6: And I think a lot of it comes from just
- 11:29Speaker 6: that authentic When people go watch it, they feel why
- 11:32Speaker 6: people were so excited about the fact that they got
- 11:34Speaker 6: told to watch it, you know what I'm saying. So
- 11:36Speaker 6: I just think that it's a level of authenticity that
- 11:38Speaker 6: comes with us that people have gravitated towards and we've
- 11:41Speaker 6: been the same even on Netflix special. When you watch it,
- 11:44Speaker 6: you see elements of things that people have watched us
- 11:47Speaker 6: do throughout the years on a platform that they've been
- 11:50Speaker 6: watching for Hovalon, they've been watching and it makes them
- 11:52Speaker 6: feel good to see something that they're familiar with and
- 11:55Speaker 6: that they rock with on a platform like that.
- 11:57Speaker 8: You know, we was the ones that give it to them.
- 11:59Speaker 3: I think when it's lost in it is just the authenticity, but.
- 12:02Speaker 2: The work ethic.
- 12:04Speaker 9: I think we connect with the fans better than anybody anybody.
- 12:08Speaker 8: In the in the game, Like we are real people.
- 12:10Speaker 8: But it's not just.
- 12:11Speaker 2: Like, oh man, that's my favorite comedian.
- 12:14Speaker 9: Can we can we get a picture like I've seen
- 12:17Speaker 9: everybody go like just like that little step forward, like
- 12:21Speaker 9: when people say, man, my mom and the car man,
- 12:23Speaker 9: can you just come over here and say what's uping
- 12:25Speaker 9: my mama? Like we get some of the strangers requests
- 12:28Speaker 9: from my fans, and it's like for us to have
- 12:30Speaker 9: to say, like, man, I'm not doing all that. You
- 12:32Speaker 9: can tell your mama get asked after car and come
- 12:34Speaker 9: up like you know, just in playing and saying that,
- 12:36Speaker 9: but then you look up and then there's really somebody mama.
- 12:39Speaker 8: Like well you know, my damn I was coming to
- 12:41Speaker 8: see you know.
- 12:42Speaker 9: It's like we got that connected bility like like family members,
- 12:46Speaker 9: like cousins.
- 12:48Speaker 3: That's what I was alluding to from the standpoint of
- 12:50Speaker 3: the work ethic is because like we've watched we've come
- 12:53Speaker 3: and we've watched y'all shoot four or five episodes in
- 12:56Speaker 3: the tape and I'm like, Yo, this is crazy because
- 12:57Speaker 3: there is no script. It's really just this improp to
- 12:59Speaker 3: our did But when you have that level of work
- 13:01Speaker 3: at it in consistency, you become a part of people's
- 13:04Speaker 3: daily lives, right, And so when I see you up
- 13:06Speaker 3: on the stage, it's like, oh, I'm watching like I'm
- 13:08Speaker 3: on my TV. Like talk about that part because people know,
- 13:11Speaker 3: like they see the entertainment, they don't understand the work
- 13:14Speaker 3: that goes behind that.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Bro, it's fun. I don't feel like it don't feel
- 13:18Speaker 2: like work.
- 13:20Speaker 9: Just like there's been plenty of times when we're in
- 13:22Speaker 9: the studio and fly I say, man, y'all still up there.
- 13:25Speaker 9: I just got in, I'm on my way, or cheek
- 13:27Speaker 9: and say, man, I just drove down, I'm pulling up.
- 13:29Speaker 9: It's like it is an open door and it's like
- 13:33Speaker 9: these my dogs. So it don't never feel like we're working.
- 13:35Speaker 9: So it's like even if I've been in the studio
- 13:38Speaker 9: for two hours, just you know, shooting a black black
- 13:40Speaker 9: market or whatever. If they pull up ten eleven o'clock
- 13:44Speaker 9: or whatever time it is, it feels like, oh.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Shit, now you know.
- 13:51Speaker 9: Yeah, but that's been the part that's been keeping us
- 13:54Speaker 9: going so much. It's like we're still having fun with it.
- 13:56Speaker 9: It ain't it ain't laborers.
- 13:58Speaker 7: And everybody don't see what they do. See we we
- 14:03Speaker 7: we keep going first, you know what I'm saying.
- 14:05Speaker 2: We're a unit.
- 14:05Speaker 7: It's not just business. We take care of the business,
- 14:09Speaker 7: but you got to be family oriented. You just can't
- 14:11Speaker 7: be in a workspace and being employee. Nobody we got staff,
- 14:16Speaker 7: but we're not employees.
- 14:17Speaker 2: We are really brothers. We're tight.
- 14:19Speaker 7: We have been through stuff, so our daily lives is
- 14:22Speaker 7: what brings us even closer.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So when y'all see us on stage, you'd be.
- 14:25Speaker 7: Like, how is that even possible that they can do
- 14:30Speaker 7: something like that. It's just God given talent. He aligned
- 14:33Speaker 7: it up for it to be like that. You see
- 14:35Speaker 7: what I'm saying. We're fans of each other, so even
- 14:37Speaker 7: when we be on stage, we be wanting to see
- 14:39Speaker 7: what everybody else Finna say.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Were cracking each other up for real?
- 14:45Speaker 5: We saw you in Brooklyn.
- 14:47Speaker 9: What was that kingstady up the show King at this point,
- 14:52Speaker 9: like how it shows that was so crazy.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Man.
- 14:56Speaker 9: We were just talking about how they won't let us
- 14:58Speaker 9: back at the Apolo Benji were still man, man, we're
- 15:02Speaker 9: gonna keep saying it, but it's time to bring the.
- 15:05Speaker 8: Bring it up. They got a little.
- 15:10Speaker 2: We didn't do nothing. Yeah, live like a slipping.
- 15:15Speaker 7: File and they fail and were like why y'all so
- 15:18Speaker 7: loud there and they're like, y'all can't come back.
- 15:21Speaker 2: We like y'all had the water lead.
- 15:22Speaker 9: I mean, you know what happens when you put a
- 15:25Speaker 9: lot of black people who don't know each other in
- 15:27Speaker 9: a small.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Space, right and you have a water leak.
- 15:30Speaker 8: It's a water.
- 15:31Speaker 9: Leaked on somebody and then somebody thought somebody spit on
- 15:34Speaker 9: them and somebody slipped.
- 15:37Speaker 6: I don't like the way y'all just went off. Somebody
- 15:45Speaker 6: was yeah, it just one of those. But you know,
- 15:49Speaker 6: just to be able to have those accomplishments on the
- 15:52Speaker 6: you know, before we even got to the Netflix, like
- 15:54Speaker 6: that was That's how I was a big Apollo theater,
- 15:58Speaker 6: you know.
- 15:58Speaker 2: And yeah, that's what inspired us to name this ghetto
- 16:01Speaker 2: legend before it went down. That's what it really was.
- 16:03Speaker 9: Everybody black has performed at the Apollo. But the list
- 16:08Speaker 9: of people who have been banned.
- 16:13Speaker 6: Ghetto, the ones that are bad from that, and that's
- 16:15Speaker 6: that make it easy. That makes it easier where you
- 16:19Speaker 6: go anywhere else, get out. Man, I've been thrown out
- 16:22Speaker 6: a better place.
- 16:22Speaker 9: Than good nine point nine of venues, but will not.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yeah, we gotta get you back now, man, that's hollow.
- 16:34Speaker 5: Got to get you.
- 16:35Speaker 2: If y'all got any plugs, please let yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Right, So y'all been killing it on YouTube, millions of you,
- 16:43Speaker 4: but then you you decide to start your own streaming service, right,
- 16:47Speaker 4: Channel eighty five streaming service.
- 16:49Speaker 5: So I pay attention to comments.
- 16:53Speaker 4: So at first I saw some negative comments, like some
- 16:56Speaker 4: people was giving pushback on it. So why did you
- 17:00Speaker 4: start the streaming service? And how did you get your
- 17:03Speaker 4: audience to buy into it?
- 17:07Speaker 2: I like how the just.
- 17:11Speaker 8: I like how they're just saying right there.
- 17:14Speaker 9: Well, the thing about it is like we ran up
- 17:16Speaker 9: the numbers crazy on YouTube, like it's over two million subscribers, right,
- 17:21Speaker 9: but what YouTube and the platform? You know how that
- 17:23Speaker 9: platform is. It's like they can flag your video for
- 17:26Speaker 9: anything that they want and they won't necessarily take it down,
- 17:29Speaker 9: they just won't monetize it. So it's like if it's
- 17:33Speaker 9: if nobody's making money off of it, who's making money
- 17:36Speaker 9: off of it? They still making money off of it,
- 17:39Speaker 9: but you So it's like they were finding all kinds
- 17:43Speaker 9: of little reasons and ways to like kind of manipulate
- 17:47Speaker 9: the algorithm and things.
- 17:48Speaker 8: Of that nature.
- 17:49Speaker 9: So it was so many kind of like things that
- 17:53Speaker 9: we kind of just didn't want to keep cutting out
- 17:55Speaker 9: of our show, like missing different like elements of the show.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Like these things.
- 17:59Speaker 9: Like it's just like, as an artist, you just wanted
- 18:03Speaker 9: all the freedom, all the creative you know, all creativity
- 18:06Speaker 9: and going to our own app and platform. That's the
- 18:09Speaker 9: first time that we actually got to speak to somebody
- 18:11Speaker 9: from there, Like once they found out we were having
- 18:14Speaker 9: our own app, now it was like, oh y'all good,
- 18:16Speaker 9: that won't happen no more. It's like yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:20Speaker 9: So then once we got to our own platform, it's
- 18:23Speaker 9: like we don't need all these ghost people who just
- 18:26Speaker 9: make the numbers look good, Like who really, who likes
- 18:28Speaker 9: this show enough to because it's paid for it really
- 18:31Speaker 9: support It.
- 18:31Speaker 3: Gets tricky right because you figure, especially on the platform
- 18:34Speaker 3: like YouTube, it's like we have to keep it clean.
- 18:37Speaker 3: So if we curse so much, I can't get you can't,
- 18:39Speaker 3: You're gonna get mad for somebody else clicked on the
- 18:41Speaker 3: I don't know that.
- 18:42Speaker 6: Young exactly, but that's it's like working at a restaurant.
- 18:44Speaker 6: If you're working at a restaurant and you're making the
- 18:47Speaker 6: food in the way that they say you're supposed to
- 18:49Speaker 6: make the food, but when people coming up to you like, man,
- 18:52Speaker 6: we love this. If you love it, then when I
- 18:54Speaker 6: leave and get this food truck, then you should come
- 18:56Speaker 6: to the food truck and see what I really know
- 18:58Speaker 6: how to because they can't tell me how much season
- 18:59Speaker 6: in the in this or what I can do to this.
- 19:01Speaker 6: And that's pretty much the freedom that you get when
- 19:04Speaker 6: you take the risk of starting your own streaming service.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Because that was a risky move on our possible because
- 19:09Speaker 6: like you said, even when people giving a negative backlash,
- 19:12Speaker 6: you gotta take people who are used to one thing,
- 19:15Speaker 6: Like you said, they used to come to that restaurant
- 19:16Speaker 6: and getting your food. You got the training to say no, no, no,
- 19:19Speaker 6: don walking that place you've been going into looking for
- 19:21Speaker 6: me this whole time.
- 19:22Speaker 3: I'm up the street now I don't want right. Part
- 19:26Speaker 3: of it too is that when I walked up, when
- 19:28Speaker 3: I walked into the restaurant, I was getting it for free. Right, Yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 3: Now I gotta go up the street and I gotta.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Pay what they like? What's the transition like for y'all?
- 19:35Speaker 3: Like that first couple of months or a year or
- 19:37Speaker 3: so where you have to now train an audience that
- 19:40Speaker 3: used to seeing it. I just watch it on YouTube
- 19:42Speaker 3: to now wait, I gotta pay it like it's a
- 19:44Speaker 3: small fee does when you's free so on YouTube?
- 19:49Speaker 2: But it's like I it is.
- 19:51Speaker 7: It's free to a certain extinct but it's like, if
- 19:54Speaker 7: you like it so much, it's pay for its exclusive.
- 19:57Speaker 2: They like that. We look like that. But you watch
- 20:02Speaker 2: every last one of them. When it was we say
- 20:05Speaker 2: eight dollars, you like, ain't game.
- 20:07Speaker 6: I mean, your know none of these, but you start
- 20:11Speaker 6: they don't even watch it, but you started off paying them.
- 20:13Speaker 6: It's like if you're giving somebody up and if you
- 20:15Speaker 6: constantly giving it away and then you come up and like, man,
- 20:18Speaker 6: that'll be a dollar a dollar, what.
- 20:20Speaker 2: You mean a dollar fifty? Man?
- 20:23Speaker 9: It's given to me like you've been giving it to me,
- 20:24Speaker 9: but like you're saying in the beginning with the negative comments,
- 20:27Speaker 9: they only did that so you could bring up people
- 20:30Speaker 9: leaving negative comments.
- 20:31Speaker 2: If we didn't never acknowledge that ship, it would never exist.
- 20:34Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying.
- 20:35Speaker 9: How we skip over all them great support, all them
- 20:38Speaker 9: millions of comments where they share in heartfelt stories and
- 20:41Speaker 9: baby pissures and love and man, I met my wife
- 20:44Speaker 9: at the eighty five. We're gonna forget about them just
- 20:46Speaker 9: because somebody got mad O eight fuck them, love them.
- 20:51Speaker 9: I would love for all two million of the YouTube
- 20:54Speaker 9: subscribers to come over to the app and subscribe, But
- 20:58Speaker 9: we know reasons why they not. They don't want us
- 21:01Speaker 9: to benefit directly, or if they feel like me Chico
- 21:04Speaker 9: and DC is splitting up this eight dollars apiece, you two,
- 21:08Speaker 9: we're gonna put you up. It's like they want to
- 21:11Speaker 9: see us do good, but not that good. Like we
- 21:14Speaker 9: ain't even changed on them yet. We ain't even flex man.
- 21:17Speaker 9: And if we stay in our lane and they really
- 21:19Speaker 9: think that like going number one is gonna change us.
- 21:22Speaker 9: This is really who we are and we're gonna keep pushing.
- 21:25Speaker 9: If they come back next year, we're gonna do it
- 21:27Speaker 9: again and ten more times. Or however the fuck whatever
- 21:29Speaker 9: we feel like doing. That was the whole point of
- 21:32Speaker 9: this is like we three of the hardest working dudes
- 21:35Speaker 9: that we know personally.
- 21:36Speaker 2: That's why it's like we meet.
- 21:38Speaker 9: When we started going on to it, we were coming
- 21:40Speaker 9: from three different directions, then going back to do even
- 21:43Speaker 9: more shows.
- 21:43Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying.
- 21:44Speaker 9: So now just having this platform and people seeing what
- 21:49Speaker 9: could come, what it could be, they're seeing other shows
- 21:52Speaker 9: that we're working on, other things that we're producing, taking
- 21:56Speaker 9: a you know, trying to get the independent movie game
- 21:59Speaker 9: under our belt, and they're starting to see that. It's like, oh,
- 22:02Speaker 9: they're not taking this money and they taking this ship
- 22:05Speaker 9: and reinvesting it into the company. They're paying people, they're
- 22:08Speaker 9: hiring black people, They're putting black women in position to
- 22:11Speaker 9: make to do all the wardrobe. They went and found
- 22:14Speaker 9: the girl that played the violin.
- 22:15Speaker 4: It's like, but the fact that you even have to
- 22:18Speaker 4: justify that as a problem because even if you watch
- 22:20Speaker 4: just putting ship, but I'm just saying it does like
- 22:24Speaker 4: jay Z got a dope freestyle when he was like
- 22:27Speaker 4: y'all he said something like y'all brought nikes and Phil
- 22:31Speaker 4: Knight richid shit like y'all brought ten I phones and
- 22:33Speaker 4: Steve Jobs, but y'all ain't Spotify worth ten billion. Ya
- 22:37Speaker 4: ain't saying ship like they're saying like nobody's ever questioning
- 22:40Speaker 4: what is Phil Knight actually doing with this money right now?
- 22:42Speaker 8: Is he putting it back in the Community's not.
- 22:48Speaker 7: Thinking about us when we can assume how much you got.
- 22:53Speaker 7: It's better for us when you when we know you
- 22:56Speaker 7: make it more. We don't like it. We gotta take
- 23:00Speaker 7: that whatever mind state, whatever energy that is, we gotta
- 23:05Speaker 7: It's gonna take a generation.
- 23:07Speaker 2: She got to close out.
- 23:08Speaker 9: Take Go find any interview, any entertainer, especially a comedian.
- 23:14Speaker 9: There's plenty of them out there. Me and Chiko, we
- 23:16Speaker 9: got a little game that we play the number. As
- 23:19Speaker 9: soon as you say a number, they turn on you.
- 23:23Speaker 9: As soon as you say I made this much money.
- 23:26Speaker 9: People don't like you no more. That's just a fact.
- 23:29Speaker 8: You can go anywhere you know how they announce and.
- 23:31Speaker 9: They say all last year such such he was on
- 23:35Speaker 9: this streaming platform and they want to give him a
- 23:38Speaker 9: hundred men?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Why who what you do? You don't know that this the.
- 23:42Speaker 9: Same little young nigga that streamed two hundred hours straight
- 23:46Speaker 9: set his balls on fire, prank this mama, wreck this car,
- 23:49Speaker 9: like they put the equity in and then who you
- 23:53Speaker 9: because you don't know him.
- 23:54Speaker 4: They don't deserve it, right, But that's crazy. But for
- 23:56Speaker 4: some people it's your marketing. Like the Forbes list comes out, right,
- 24:00Speaker 4: you see jay z worth, So now people actually.
- 24:02Speaker 2: You think jay Z want people knowing that shit? Every
- 24:06Speaker 2: list come out. He probably like, oh here we go
- 24:08Speaker 2: with this ship. I said that helps. Like when Kanye
- 24:11Speaker 2: was a billionaire, that helped him.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Helped him because people looked at him differently, like he
- 24:16Speaker 4: got a billionaire, we gotta respect them, we gotta respect them.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Now he's a millionaire, a billion dollars.
- 24:20Speaker 4: What I'm saying, you don't think they need help with No, no, no,
- 24:23Speaker 4: I'm just saying as far as I don't think I understand.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Ask what a mother fumper net worth?
- 24:28Speaker 5: No no, no, no, I'm with you.
- 24:29Speaker 4: But what I'm saying is that from a public perception
- 24:31Speaker 4: stamp right, I think it go either way. I think
- 24:33Speaker 4: that people could start hating on you, but they could
- 24:35Speaker 4: also start like, oh shit, like now they want to
- 24:40Speaker 4: aspire to be you.
- 24:41Speaker 7: But I think we're not even conditioned for niggas to
- 24:45Speaker 7: have this type of money.
- 24:46Speaker 2: So the way we act is just awful impulse.
- 24:50Speaker 7: If we really formulate a group and be like, look,
- 24:53Speaker 7: you take all the money you spend here, You take
- 24:55Speaker 7: all the money you spend here.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Not only that the black motherfucker has this.
- 25:00Speaker 7: The same shit they like, Nigga, I'm not paying three
- 25:03Speaker 7: hundred and fifty dollars in his sweatshirt.
- 25:05Speaker 2: This shit should be forty.
- 25:06Speaker 7: You don't know, Louis, You're gonna go in here and
- 25:09Speaker 7: spend a thousand dollars the shirt because who said that
- 25:11Speaker 7: this motherfucker was worth a thousand? This is what you see,
- 25:15Speaker 7: This is what you conditioned to. So we have to
- 25:18Speaker 7: wipe this whole narrative and the way we think on
- 25:22Speaker 7: a certain situation, on what's hot, what's elevating, what's morally
- 25:27Speaker 7: making you progress, and then we're gonna literally find ourselves
- 25:31Speaker 7: in a better state of mind.
- 25:32Speaker 6: I think that's the text of generation to do it though,
- 25:35Speaker 6: because you think about those brands you just name with
- 25:37Speaker 6: Louis Vauton or Rolex, these are brands that have been
- 25:40Speaker 6: around for hundreds of years, and they've been able to
- 25:42Speaker 6: prosper for hundreds of years. And then that branding is
- 25:45Speaker 6: something that you see and you automat it, automatically attached
- 25:49Speaker 6: to being wealthy or you automatically attached to being you know,
- 25:53Speaker 6: well offered. You don't have those status symbols amongst us,
- 25:57Speaker 6: like you think we don't have. I don't even think
- 26:00Speaker 6: I can name one thing that a black man has
- 26:02Speaker 6: created and owned that you can have on you or
- 26:05Speaker 6: with you that make you.
- 26:06Speaker 8: Oh he got a whatever, Oh he got some corn
- 26:09Speaker 8: bread from Uncle.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Rick, got money off white.
- 26:12Speaker 6: I mean, but still that was that was connected to
- 26:17Speaker 6: a brand that was already established.
- 26:18Speaker 8: So for us to be able to do it without.
- 26:21Speaker 6: Getting that, you know what I mean, that extra hand,
- 26:23Speaker 6: that the big brother hand to come and say, hey,
- 26:25Speaker 6: give me that, you know what I mean, that's what
- 26:27Speaker 6: It's going to take a while.
- 26:28Speaker 2: I believe, And I think it's on is here, but
- 26:31Speaker 2: see to add on his. It's in my head, but
- 26:34Speaker 2: see the add on his.
- 26:35Speaker 7: We use that materialisty, like he said, we put that
- 26:38Speaker 7: value on the roll legs and the lure be like, okay,
- 26:41Speaker 7: we made it, instead of saying spiritually cordially, what's making
- 26:46Speaker 7: it to us? Because that were putting our status on
- 26:50Speaker 7: making it. When peace can be Mean you made it
- 26:53Speaker 7: your friend in a better state of mind.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Mean you made it you're thinking.
- 26:56Speaker 7: You're going outside Joe, your state of mind and the
- 26:59Speaker 7: way you both live.
- 27:00Speaker 2: And this is value and this is validation to everybody else.
- 27:03Speaker 8: You know what made me stop buying that ship.
- 27:06Speaker 2: I actually google who these people were. Look him up.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Some terrible looking motherfuckers.
- 27:12Speaker 9: I'm telling you, once you see the chest, the names
- 27:16Speaker 9: you putting on your body, you don't really rethink that ship.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Why would you give a fuck what the old white
- 27:22Speaker 2: man think is cool? Why?
- 27:24Speaker 4: That's what Dame Dash told us. I won't name a designer,
- 27:27Speaker 4: but here talking about the designer that's really popular. He
- 27:29Speaker 4: was like, Yo, I know the dude. He's a bad person,
- 27:31Speaker 4: a terrible person. He's like so when X when somebody
- 27:35Speaker 4: raps about him, you got to question them, right because
- 27:38Speaker 4: it's like and they like, he's like this, and he's
- 27:40Speaker 4: like yeah, and they know him and they know he's
- 27:42Speaker 4: a bad person, Like you know what I'm saying.
- 27:43Speaker 5: So he's like, yo, I know these people personally, like
- 27:46Speaker 5: they're like real devil.
- 27:47Speaker 3: But I want to tell about that. You said it
- 27:49Speaker 3: might take a generation in DC. He said the same thing.
- 27:51Speaker 3: All we in the midst of that generation, right, because
- 27:53Speaker 3: if we're supposed to.
- 27:53Speaker 8: Be there generator.
- 27:54Speaker 3: What I'm saying when you look at if we're talking
- 27:56Speaker 3: about just the entertainment space, especially in your space. When
- 27:59Speaker 3: I look at y'all and I look at what y'all
- 28:01Speaker 3: doing with eighty five media, I'm watching it firsthand. When
- 28:04Speaker 3: I look at like we were backstage and we're talking
- 28:06Speaker 3: about this is a family, I'm looking at who y'all hiring.
- 28:09Speaker 3: This is not the example. This is now being celebrated. Yeah,
- 28:12Speaker 3: Netflix recognized it, but the community recognized it for right years. Right,
- 28:15Speaker 3: I'm looking at ear Lesion, same right in the financial space,
- 28:19Speaker 3: shout out to Charlamage again and Black Fact what they're
- 28:21Speaker 3: doing in the pocket. It's like, Yo, it's happening within
- 28:24Speaker 3: the midst of it. We just got to keep leading
- 28:26Speaker 3: these examples and change the mindset of the people as
- 28:29Speaker 3: we're doing it. So when y'all, when y'all perform, right,
- 28:31Speaker 3: Because when I look at you, I never looked like, yo,
- 28:33Speaker 3: these guys are comedians. I first took at like, Yo,
- 28:35Speaker 3: these guys are brilliant. They're brilliant because what they do
- 28:37Speaker 3: is impossible. Are y'all going into these spaces with that
- 28:42Speaker 3: connsant thought, like, we represent the generation that we're talking
- 28:46Speaker 3: about right now.
- 28:47Speaker 9: Okay, even look at this platform right here, Look at
- 28:49Speaker 9: all the things you've been able to do a lesion
- 28:51Speaker 9: right now, Think of how much further ahead we be
- 28:55Speaker 9: if we came from if your dad was a camera
- 28:57Speaker 9: man for thirty years, or if you're dad was a
- 29:00Speaker 9: producer for thirty years, or your mom was the secretariat
- 29:04Speaker 9: Warner Brothers, Like if we were grandfather, then we'd be billionaire.
- 29:09Speaker 9: Like you're said that with the Generation and change, were
- 29:12Speaker 9: the first generation that was blueprints because we start this
- 29:15Speaker 9: started out as homeboys making jokes on a show. We
- 29:22Speaker 9: didn't know that it was We didn't know that we
- 29:24Speaker 9: would have to accept the responsibility of having to create
- 29:28Speaker 9: our own media company. Like when we were sitting there
- 29:31Speaker 9: and we were going out, we were meeting with these
- 29:33Speaker 9: people like yeah, we want to take it on the road,
- 29:34Speaker 9: we want to do this, we want to do this,
- 29:35Speaker 9: and they were like, how it'll never work. Like those
- 29:39Speaker 9: were literally the worst of these same people who come
- 29:42Speaker 9: back and they oh, it's great.
- 29:45Speaker 7: At the top of always what I'm saying, it's like
- 29:51Speaker 7: who's gonna help us.
- 29:52Speaker 8: Help us. We can't do this ship by ourself.
- 29:55Speaker 9: We don't have the knowledge of if we were just
- 29:59Speaker 9: sitting here. We don't know how to put that camera
- 30:02Speaker 9: right there.
- 30:02Speaker 7: But we are the one that take the risk for
- 30:04Speaker 7: it to be the blueprint exactly right.
- 30:06Speaker 2: You see what I'm saying.
- 30:07Speaker 7: But also we observed because we observed y'all as well,
- 30:10Speaker 7: where it's like, okay, it does work.
- 30:13Speaker 2: But see this what goes back to what I said earlier.
- 30:17Speaker 7: If we just stop hating on one another and really
- 30:20Speaker 7: saying what could we do together?
- 30:23Speaker 2: Or believe in me. I don't know what the fuck
- 30:27Speaker 2: I'm getting myself into.
- 30:28Speaker 7: When you said believe in me, little brother, I don't
- 30:30Speaker 7: even know what the fuck this was. And then once
- 30:33Speaker 7: I saw the bigger picture, it took me. It took
- 30:36Speaker 7: me probably three three and a half years, even after
- 30:38Speaker 7: Wen parked off.
- 30:39Speaker 2: For me to really put my stamp on it, because
- 30:43Speaker 2: I had to sit.
- 30:43Speaker 7: Back and I was like, but we got a lot
- 30:46Speaker 7: of people, Hold, look, this motherfucker go to work here
- 30:51Speaker 7: every day. Okay, this is bigger than how I perceive it.
- 30:56Speaker 7: Now I'm looking at it how they looking at it,
- 30:58Speaker 7: and I'm looking at how everybody else looking at it, and
- 31:00Speaker 7: I'm like, hmm, what can I do to enhance this?
- 31:06Speaker 7: And then once I start, I said, you know what,
- 31:09Speaker 7: this is why I appreciate y'all because y'all bring a
- 31:12Speaker 7: certain energy. Well, nigga has to be you gotta pick
- 31:15Speaker 7: up or you're gonna find out you slack it.
- 31:17Speaker 2: And when you slack and you're like, okay, I'm the problem.
- 31:20Speaker 7: And then once I see I'm the problem, it's like,
- 31:23Speaker 7: how can I enhance this situation and make it better
- 31:25Speaker 7: amongst people who bring in that same type of energy.
- 31:27Speaker 8: You know what did it for me?
- 31:30Speaker 2: It's like seeing everybody around us not have to go
- 31:36Speaker 2: to work, right, not have to go you know what
- 31:39Speaker 2: I mean? Like this is your job? Man? When I
- 31:42Speaker 2: saw my friends quitting their job, then I knew.
- 31:45Speaker 9: I was like, this is this is really something because
- 31:49Speaker 9: that was just a whole different feeling that I never
- 31:51Speaker 9: even thought like you know, of course, and this ship
- 31:53Speaker 9: when you're like I quit my job, I do this
- 31:56Speaker 9: other people like and my daughter camera man, he had
- 31:59Speaker 9: to go get no other jobs for three years?
- 32:01Speaker 8: Right, Like you straight?
- 32:03Speaker 2: You good?
- 32:04Speaker 9: My boy? Like I'm not only am I good? I'm
- 32:06Speaker 9: better because I got my own independence. I'm free, I could,
- 32:12Speaker 9: I don't have to. And that's what really set the
- 32:14Speaker 9: tone for me.
- 32:15Speaker 6: And watching other people me was it was seeing the
- 32:18Speaker 6: people like the people being out, you know, because whenever
- 32:21Speaker 6: I go to a city, I always touched the city
- 32:24Speaker 6: in whatever way I can. And once people start coming
- 32:26Speaker 6: up to me talking about us versus everything else that
- 32:29Speaker 6: they see us do, like they specifically say, yeah, man,
- 32:33Speaker 6: I know you from but that shit y'all doing, Bro,
- 32:35Speaker 6: keep doing that shit. That's what made me know, like, Okay,
- 32:38Speaker 6: we impacted because certain places, you wouldn't even think that
- 32:41Speaker 6: we was touching those places because I be some places
- 32:43Speaker 6: more like, man, what you're doing here? And when I
- 32:46Speaker 6: see that we we were there, when I saw we
- 32:48Speaker 6: had infiltrated those places that you can't infiltrate, especially in
- 32:51Speaker 6: our community. It's certain places that they not even letting
- 32:54Speaker 6: no new shit come through. It's like, nigga, fuck that
- 32:57Speaker 6: we got what we like and that's it right.
- 33:00Speaker 9: The game station and they had that the Arab due
- 33:02Speaker 9: had the ship playing out like.
- 33:04Speaker 8: That type of ship.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Bro made it to the hoods, that type.
- 33:07Speaker 8: Of shops, those type.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Of things, because y'all are all individual rates?
- 33:13Speaker 8: Right at what point?
- 33:15Speaker 3: I mean and if you can answer this, was there
- 33:18Speaker 3: a point where it was like I'm not an individual anymore,
- 33:21Speaker 3: I'm eighty five South because.
- 33:22Speaker 2: It's like that we went from being It's the Sacred
- 33:24Speaker 2: Sauce to this. That's that's just they still seeing me.
- 33:29Speaker 2: Like they'll be like leisure. I'm like, yeah, some people
- 33:31Speaker 2: be like yo, that's Troy.
- 33:32Speaker 4: That's It's a difference. It's a difference because everything that
- 33:36Speaker 4: we do is together. They do a lot of things separate.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Right right, right, That's what I'm saying, Like it was
- 33:41Speaker 3: there a point where people are just like your eighty
- 33:44Speaker 3: five selves more so than it's like this Chico.
- 33:47Speaker 2: That's a difference. It's like it's like Captain Planet Man.
- 33:50Speaker 7: Yeah, you may have a conversation about us, but in
- 33:54Speaker 7: the midst of that conversation.
- 33:55Speaker 2: You're gonna bring up this.
- 33:56Speaker 7: Yeah, you're gonna be like, hey, man, I can't even
- 33:58Speaker 7: show it, but we're eighty five out come right?
- 34:02Speaker 2: What color? What she going? They are part of my life.
- 34:07Speaker 6: Ain't never seen I mean, you think that's something I'm
- 34:09Speaker 6: talking about? You had somebody run up on you, Oh
- 34:11Speaker 6: my god, Carlos Miller. I'm like, right, it's like those
- 34:20Speaker 6: type of kids. Let us know that even in our individuality,
- 34:23Speaker 6: people see what we do together. There's nowhere I go
- 34:26Speaker 6: where they don't ask me where these two niggas without
- 34:29Speaker 6: every day with the crew at with your boys that
- 34:32Speaker 6: I went to cuttings licenses yesterday, they was like.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Yeah, man, where the crew at?
- 34:37Speaker 5: Man?
- 34:37Speaker 6: We call those with DC at everywhere because they like
- 34:44Speaker 6: this to come in here, like what you going. I'm like, nigga,
- 34:47Speaker 6: I don't know, you know, but it's that's something that
- 34:50Speaker 6: we didn't realize it was going to turn into that.
- 34:52Speaker 6: But you can't deny at even if we were still
- 34:55Speaker 6: sitting around not believing in what it is we do.
- 34:58Speaker 6: The people make it impossible for us not to see
- 35:00Speaker 6: the impact that we're having. Because when you somewhere and
- 35:03Speaker 6: you see somebody yell out the wrong name from across
- 35:06Speaker 6: the mall, nigga, I'm talking about not like that, you
- 35:11Speaker 6: funny man.
- 35:12Speaker 8: You you slicked with it this nigga here man.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Larry all the way.
- 35:16Speaker 8: But about him is he don't like it when you
- 35:18Speaker 8: threw a joke to him.
- 35:21Speaker 2: Listen, I want to see him.
- 35:26Speaker 6: Send y'all at the at the the Turkey Leg City
- 35:29Speaker 6: had DJ Envy on the street.
- 35:31Speaker 2: While DJ was sitting right there, I.
- 35:32Speaker 6: Said, yeah, I was like, I'm sorry, but I thought
- 35:36Speaker 6: from friends, Andy just happy to have his bed, like
- 35:45Speaker 6: Ben gave to the like exactly.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Like na gonna start doing that.
- 36:00Speaker 3: According when he said it, and when I was like,
- 36:01Speaker 3: I'm like, damn, this doesn't like every.
- 36:04Speaker 8: Nigga was like, get your fucking turkey leg out of here.
- 36:09Speaker 2: You don't like that. You know, you're being.
- 36:13Speaker 8: Love outfit all the way.
- 36:16Speaker 6: You do very well taking it from somebody caught very
- 36:20Speaker 6: into that myself.
- 36:22Speaker 2: I respect it.
- 36:26Speaker 6: I mean, hey, you you're doing enough outfit you had
- 36:29Speaker 6: on the all black one. Appreciate one was tough, Appreciate
- 36:32Speaker 6: that you always show off to watch and that thing.
- 36:34Speaker 8: I'm like, nigga, I see been waiting on these moments
- 36:38Speaker 8: you Yeah, he stays stunned.
- 36:44Speaker 2: Bro.
- 36:44Speaker 9: You just just he just caught the little trying to
- 36:47Speaker 9: blue things, you know what I'm saying, trying to.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Blue wreck gus for the summer.
- 36:51Speaker 6: So I ask you question, like, with y'all being financial
- 36:56Speaker 6: guys and coming into the space, what type of questions
- 36:58Speaker 6: do y'all do people run up on y'all.
- 37:00Speaker 2: I asked, y'all when y'all.
- 37:02Speaker 3: Have some Moneyolo, we came in here like Yo, I mean, hey,
- 37:06Speaker 3: I love your show.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Class you this question about this? This company cans all the.
- 37:10Speaker 7: Time, because that's that's only two of my tone when
- 37:14Speaker 7: I say, I'm like, nigga, what I need in visit?
- 37:16Speaker 4: Or they pitching himself like I got an idea, I
- 37:18Speaker 4: got a company I got Like that happens a lot too.
- 37:21Speaker 6: But like, do y'all ever feel like at risk? Have
- 37:23Speaker 6: you ever been? Like, man, I need to stop giving
- 37:25Speaker 6: this advice out because I.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Like laws everything. You your leader, Yah, my homelessness, I'm
- 37:34Speaker 2: gonna kill you.
- 37:35Speaker 3: But this is investing has considerable risk. Please consult your
- 37:38Speaker 3: financial advisor. But we always, always, I will tell you
- 37:41Speaker 3: like this is what I'm doing. Like when we had
- 37:42Speaker 3: the conversation, I'm like, Yo, this is the company, but
- 37:44Speaker 3: I'm gonna tell you why I'm doing it, and you
- 37:46Speaker 3: can choose to make a decision, Like when I was like, hey,
- 37:47Speaker 3: you invested in the video.
- 37:48Speaker 8: Man, we talked about that and.
- 37:49Speaker 2: A half ago were like yeah, yeah, I really listened.
- 37:52Speaker 2: But like that happens a lot.
- 37:54Speaker 3: So I always tell people what I'm doing, and then
- 37:56Speaker 3: that kind of alleviates a little bit because I'll show you, like, Yo,
- 37:59Speaker 3: this is what I'm investing in.
- 38:00Speaker 7: Bro, this is y'all do that ship every day? I
- 38:03Speaker 7: need every day invested.
- 38:05Speaker 8: The robbin hood?
- 38:06Speaker 2: What what so? What's your so?
- 38:07Speaker 6: So?
- 38:07Speaker 2: Okay, okay, okay, he read charged. He's what Aristotle? You
- 38:13Speaker 2: in there?
- 38:13Speaker 7: But I don't want to say I do this ship
- 38:15Speaker 7: because y'all do this ship. Y'all live this ship. I
- 38:18Speaker 7: do this ship is a difference, and I just.
- 38:20Speaker 8: Listen to y'all. Whatever y'all say, bye, I'm buying it.
- 38:22Speaker 8: I don't give up.
- 38:23Speaker 7: So if y'all live this ship, that means y'all know
- 38:25Speaker 7: the ups and downs, the eighty Risks radio, all the
- 38:29Speaker 7: ship that ship. So I need an everyday chat easy
- 38:34Speaker 7: because I want to be able to invest every day.
- 38:38Speaker 2: No robbin hood all that ship.
- 38:41Speaker 8: Y'all charged to get in the group chat?
- 38:42Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know.
- 38:43Speaker 8: Everybody else giving financial advice.
- 38:45Speaker 2: But look, join the group chat. It's only fifty six
- 38:48Speaker 2: dollars a day.
- 38:49Speaker 7: But it ain't. Don't they find that said advice? Sh Now, low,
- 38:57Speaker 7: we gotta get.
- 38:58Speaker 2: International rate, may apply. I want real deal ship. Oh,
- 39:04Speaker 2: but you you trade every options and I do long term.
- 39:10Speaker 5: All right, so you long term invest I'm doing.
- 39:12Speaker 2: I'm on that already. Day trade.
- 39:14Speaker 7: I need to get up on my option because that's
- 39:17Speaker 7: what everyday money is.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Long term is every three months, quarterly. But cool, it's
- 39:22Speaker 2: a long run. It's a long run.
- 39:24Speaker 7: But you want the eight want to know when to
- 39:27Speaker 7: get out and when, because I don't like getting out.
- 39:30Speaker 7: I like to reinvest. But I did a company who
- 39:34Speaker 7: took you took one of them where you're like, but
- 39:40Speaker 7: the long run is if you.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Stay in it, it'll come back.
- 39:43Speaker 7: Because you'll say, it's a big company, it's a major company.
- 39:45Speaker 7: They either gonna go bankrupt or they're gonna be done for.
- 39:48Speaker 7: If they ain't be done for, eventually they'll come back.
- 39:51Speaker 2: They came back.
- 39:52Speaker 3: What you want to say the company you don't want
- 39:54Speaker 3: to company's about it?
- 39:57Speaker 5: Talk?
- 39:57Speaker 3: Yeah, like I said, I do this shit with y'all
- 39:59Speaker 3: live shit. Yeah, I mean, I mean you sound like
- 40:02Speaker 3: you're trading on a daily basis. My thing is more like,
- 40:04Speaker 3: let's make the investment and if we are doing options,
- 40:08Speaker 3: let's have them as leaps. Boy, you're about the difference
- 40:12Speaker 3: between leaps A leap is more more than six months. Right,
- 40:15Speaker 3: So we're talking about I might y'all doing the.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Long term, short term training type shit.
- 40:19Speaker 3: It's kind of like, if I'm doing an option now
- 40:22Speaker 3: it's twenty twenty three, I might look out to twenty
- 40:25Speaker 3: twenty five, right, and look like, what's the because the
- 40:28Speaker 3: options really just was the likely.
- 40:29Speaker 2: If y'all trained like that? How many trades y'all doing
- 40:32Speaker 2: to day?
- 40:33Speaker 3: Y'all y'all know what I'm saying, I won't have to
- 40:35Speaker 3: I'll put like maybe twelve for the entire year, right.
- 40:41Speaker 2: That's what niggas ain't saying. Yeah, yea, yeah, But niggas
- 40:43Speaker 2: is making it seem like these niggas is on it.
- 40:46Speaker 2: You got some option trade that's on every day. You
- 40:48Speaker 2: got some niggas that say it just like you said.
- 40:49Speaker 7: In my mind, I would have never thought you only
- 40:52Speaker 7: did twelve trade to day?
- 40:53Speaker 2: Who done did fifty already? Yeah, there's a lot of guys.
- 40:56Speaker 4: It's like it's like a sniper, right, Like a sniper
- 40:59Speaker 4: might scope his spot for two weeks, right, and take
- 41:03Speaker 4: one shot kill as opposed to just you know, just
- 41:06Speaker 4: going crazy and just running and just shooting.
- 41:09Speaker 5: Like. So everybody's different.
- 41:10Speaker 4: But I think it's more beneficial to take less trade
- 41:16Speaker 4: because now the trades that you do take your laser
- 41:19Speaker 4: focused on your shore.
- 41:20Speaker 11: About sometimes you just you just take a trade just
- 41:23Speaker 11: because like un lets you're do it. I mean, lets
- 41:25Speaker 11: you do the analytics and you got your ship. It's
- 41:26Speaker 11: going to be the man just because I just heard it.
- 41:30Speaker 11: Or but if you day trading, you got's like a
- 41:32Speaker 11: full time job.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Right, That's what I'm saying. We don't we doing an
- 41:35Speaker 2: hour doing this. We don't have the time to look
- 41:38Speaker 2: at charts all day.
- 41:39Speaker 6: But I don't it's so many people, as you know,
- 41:41Speaker 6: just from on the internet. It's so many people now
- 41:43Speaker 6: that had the ability to pretend like they know what
- 41:45Speaker 6: they talking about and just follow certain you know, you read,
- 41:48Speaker 6: regurgitate certain information. So with y'all being two of the
- 41:51Speaker 6: guys who are, in my opinion, the you know, the
- 41:54Speaker 6: taste makers of this type of content, because it really
- 41:58Speaker 6: wasn't nothing like y'all my boy yard. You know what
- 42:00Speaker 6: I'm saying, Like, how do y'all vet and navigate people now?
- 42:04Speaker 6: Because I know y'all got everybody who's who's supposed to
- 42:07Speaker 6: be somebody trying to come and sit with y'all literally
- 42:10Speaker 6: needing financially, you know what I mean, not even needing it,
- 42:13Speaker 6: offering it, you know what I'm saying when you got
- 42:15Speaker 6: all these different people that's being exposed as whatever, Like
- 42:18Speaker 6: how do y'all is there certain vetting processes that y'all
- 42:21Speaker 6: go through or questions that y'all ask people to know
- 42:24Speaker 6: before y'all let them come sit on your platform?
- 42:26Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 42:26Speaker 4: Now, I mean really now, it's like it's almost impossible
- 42:30Speaker 4: to really have a conversation with us like for this,
- 42:32Speaker 4: Like it's people like y'all, people like you know, Robert
- 42:35Speaker 4: smith Don people people that's like super established, like what
- 42:38Speaker 4: I'm saying, for the most part, that weeds out ninety
- 42:43Speaker 4: five percent of it, Cause it's like sometimes you don't
- 42:45Speaker 4: know right, like it might be you might have the
- 42:47Speaker 4: greatest personality, you might you know, know a lot, and
- 42:52Speaker 4: it's just to act right.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Like you know what I'm saying. That's why I said,
- 42:59Speaker 2: with this thought investments, you really got to like I
- 43:01Speaker 2: wanna do this shit and understand it.
- 43:03Speaker 7: And it's different ways, and like I get a rush
- 43:06Speaker 7: off of hust Like I like the hustle.
- 43:08Speaker 2: I don't give a fuck what it is nigga.
- 43:10Speaker 7: If I find out it's a motherfucker buying Tousshi rolls
- 43:13Speaker 7: for on the quarter on a dollar, I'm finna get
- 43:16Speaker 7: one hundred thousand Tousson rolls and I'm gonna go crazy.
- 43:20Speaker 7: So it's like I need to learn all the ways
- 43:23Speaker 7: of investing because I.
- 43:25Speaker 2: Know that dividen right. Understand that I know the option,
- 43:29Speaker 2: which means I got to be with somebody who do
- 43:31Speaker 2: this option every day.
- 43:32Speaker 7: And then when you say, like, well I got them twelve,
- 43:34Speaker 7: I just sit back and I'm like, see, I'm.
- 43:36Speaker 2: A scope for two now.
- 43:38Speaker 7: So if you know, if I need to have a
- 43:40Speaker 7: strategy on how to do that type of trading, what
- 43:43Speaker 7: I'm saying, Okay, I'm gonna invest in the right I'm
- 43:45Speaker 7: gonna do my homework.
- 43:46Speaker 2: But how do I do it? Do I sit four, five,
- 43:48Speaker 2: six months? Let this one here? Is it bullish? Like
- 43:52Speaker 2: I want to make sure I'm studying properly. Of course,
- 43:57Speaker 2: you know that's easy, we get.
- 44:00Speaker 4: But also, just to go back to your question, a
- 44:03Speaker 4: lot how the market now answer this question, but the
- 44:06Speaker 4: market like during the pandemic, everybody, if you notice, like
- 44:09Speaker 4: a lot of that kind of died damn too. I
- 44:11Speaker 4: feel like, you know the kream Morris rises to the top.
- 44:13Speaker 4: And what happens is during any like bull.
- 44:18Speaker 5: Run right right, Like I'm sure this.
- 44:20Speaker 4: There's times where everybody wants to be a comedian, like
- 44:21Speaker 4: when Instagram first pops, right, like for the online comedians,
- 44:26Speaker 4: everybody was an online comedian.
- 44:27Speaker 5: Everybody and then it's like.
- 44:29Speaker 2: There was no such thing as an online comedian. Well,
- 44:32Speaker 2: a comedian that just got hot off the cell phone.
- 44:35Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. You don't even become a
- 44:36Speaker 2: comedian until you grab that mic on State. But I'm
- 44:38Speaker 2: just saying you a lot of people making jokes on
- 44:40Speaker 2: the seat. Great personality just put because everybody have a
- 44:43Speaker 2: great person.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Made it like Drew Ski. Yeah, some people made it,
- 44:47Speaker 4: but ninety percent of them. I don't see home online,
- 44:50Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying, because they don't have that where.
- 44:52Speaker 9: Only it's only if that's how it works. It can't
- 44:54Speaker 9: be two of them go on to be one king
- 44:57Speaker 9: of the Internet. Who's gonna put out the most?
- 45:00Speaker 2: You can be playing the kings there.
- 45:01Speaker 9: What I'm saying, I gotta go hard. The Internet is
- 45:03Speaker 9: gonna pick who they want. Everybody's gonna have at least
- 45:05Speaker 9: a good.
- 45:06Speaker 7: The Internet, it's all about your gug and returning. You
- 45:09Speaker 7: go crazy if you stay consistent and stay wanting to
- 45:12Speaker 7: better your craft, because you could be a great Internet
- 45:17Speaker 7: personalities ain't the word?
- 45:19Speaker 2: What's what's the what's the word? A great internet personality? Person?
- 45:24Speaker 7: You got it all right, But it's like, how do
- 45:26Speaker 7: I create this brand now that I know that they're buying.
- 45:29Speaker 2: That's what people struggle with. That's what I'm saying, to
- 45:32Speaker 2: create the brands.
- 45:33Speaker 5: All of them are my friends.
- 45:34Speaker 4: But a lot of guys got hot online telling jokes,
- 45:37Speaker 4: got millions of followers. They couldn't figure out how to monetize.
- 45:40Speaker 4: They couldn't figure out how to do a show. They
- 45:42Speaker 4: can figure out, And it's frustrating because you're getting hundreds
- 45:47Speaker 4: of thousands on your video.
- 45:48Speaker 5: You got a million followers, but you're not.
- 45:50Speaker 7: It's not a business. It's not benefiting from and there's
- 45:53Speaker 7: no brute, no blueprint. It's like once once one door open,
- 45:56Speaker 7: it is like I okay, cool, Like I got four
- 46:00Speaker 7: into doing comany because my managers at the time wanted
- 46:02Speaker 7: to check. So once that broke the ice because I
- 46:05Speaker 7: ain't tell them when I was gonna grab the mic.
- 46:06Speaker 2: But once I.
- 46:07Speaker 7: Grabbed the mic, I was like, who okay, now I
- 46:11Speaker 7: know what they feel like. I've been in a fight before.
- 46:14Speaker 7: Let me go figure out the fundamentals.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Let me go do some groundwork a whole year and
- 46:20Speaker 2: a half.
- 46:20Speaker 7: Let me go not go get no money to figure
- 46:22Speaker 7: out what is the comedy? How do I feel on stage?
- 46:24Speaker 7: How do I better myself? And once I did it,
- 46:26Speaker 7: I was just like, man, I ain't never not stop studying.
- 46:28Speaker 8: Never.
- 46:28Speaker 5: So what's your advice.
- 46:29Speaker 4: What's your advice for the young comic that's on Instagram
- 46:32Speaker 4: that's struggling.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Get off Instagram?
- 46:34Speaker 5: Get off Instagram.
- 46:35Speaker 7: Continue to use Instagram as a platform. But when you
- 46:39Speaker 7: knew you could do a lot of shit for like
- 46:41Speaker 7: two years, you got about a two and a half
- 46:43Speaker 7: year span when you knew you can hit them in
- 46:47Speaker 7: all free content.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Keep building your platform.
- 46:49Speaker 7: But once you get to that level, and you like,
- 46:52Speaker 7: they calling me for appearances, because that's how it gonna be.
- 46:54Speaker 7: Gonna get apparents money first, cause niggas want to see
- 46:57Speaker 7: you a lot. Once you get the appearance money, now
- 47:00Speaker 7: niggas gonna be like they're labeling you as a comedian.
- 47:02Speaker 7: Now they're gonna get the coming to money. Then after
- 47:04Speaker 7: that your career takes off where it needs to go.
- 47:07Speaker 7: Once the appearance money got two years of a perience money.
- 47:10Speaker 2: I've been in every club in the fucking miracle.
- 47:12Speaker 7: I wasn't supposed to be there, but I was there
- 47:15Speaker 7: once to come to shit here, I was like, okay.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Now they labeled me a comedian.
- 47:21Speaker 7: Now let me go out here and see what the
- 47:22Speaker 7: fuck going on. And once I did the groundwork, I
- 47:25Speaker 7: was like, oh, because I want some money. Yeah, And
- 47:28Speaker 7: if you're calling, I want to make sure I'm good
- 47:31Speaker 7: at it because I'm always like on the streets, you
- 47:33Speaker 7: don't want your shit.
- 47:34Speaker 2: You don't want your name and your product to be bad. Right,
- 47:36Speaker 2: you can't be bad. So here's the thing. Right, you
- 47:39Speaker 2: have the talent, right, but who has the business? Right?
- 47:41Speaker 2: Because I think that's what's missing.
- 47:43Speaker 3: I'll use that for example, Like he's been an entrepreneur
- 47:46Speaker 3: for since we've been adults, right, so I get to
- 47:49Speaker 3: learn about being an entrepreneur from him, just by the fault.
- 47:52Speaker 3: So I'm like, you got the talent, you got the talent,
- 47:53Speaker 3: You got the talent. Who's the one or are there
- 47:56Speaker 3: a couple of people that are like, Yo, here's the
- 47:58Speaker 3: business behind it is that as it was that essay.
- 48:01Speaker 9: You got to be smart enough to listen to everybody
- 48:03Speaker 9: you come in contact with. We would be crazy as
- 48:06Speaker 9: hell to come all the way up here and do
- 48:08Speaker 9: y'all show and not leave here with some kind of
- 48:11Speaker 9: game that we could take and apply across the board.
- 48:14Speaker 8: You know what I mean.
- 48:15Speaker 9: It's like you have to be ready to be the
- 48:18Speaker 9: superstar that you're trying to create.
- 48:20Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying.
- 48:21Speaker 9: It's like, like you were saying earlier about what advice
- 48:24Speaker 9: would you give to the social media creators is my
- 48:28Speaker 9: advice would be find a way to monetize as fast
- 48:30Speaker 9: as you can find somebody. You got a million, you
- 48:33Speaker 9: got millions and millions of followers, somebody that's following, you know,
- 48:38Speaker 9: somebody that knows.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Something about the entertainment business.
- 48:42Speaker 9: Start reaching out and building those relationships with those people
- 48:46Speaker 9: who can help you get to the next level.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Every profession has to be trained. You gotta be a trainer.
- 48:51Speaker 5: You can't.
- 48:51Speaker 7: It's like Lebron having all the talent in the world,
- 48:54Speaker 7: but if he don't condition his body and train his
- 48:57Speaker 7: body and have somebody there who's not in the NBA,
- 49:00Speaker 7: but knows how to keep and maintain a sustainable body
- 49:04Speaker 7: for you to continue to do what you do.
- 49:06Speaker 2: That's how you gotta work. You gotta want to grow too.
- 49:08Speaker 9: Don't let nobody talk you out of what you're already doing.
- 49:12Speaker 9: Like we said, if you if you are the best
- 49:14Speaker 9: at doing internet comedy and making skits, why in the
- 49:17Speaker 9: hell would you let somebody talk to you and doing
- 49:19Speaker 9: stand up comedy that's not what you do. That'd be
- 49:23Speaker 9: just like you've been a dope ass rapper. But I
- 49:25Speaker 9: want you to come and make an album about some
- 49:28Speaker 9: singing shit.
- 49:29Speaker 7: But onto that you can listen but not mean not
- 49:34Speaker 7: saying the stop, that mean you can now nothing broaden
- 49:37Speaker 7: your horizon, so you could go do stand up because
- 49:40Speaker 7: that can teach you.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Or help get away from the ship that you ain't
- 49:43Speaker 2: got us just take away from it.
- 49:44Speaker 7: But you can broad And that's just like when people
- 49:46Speaker 7: wanted me to I started roasting on my time and
- 49:50Speaker 7: people ain't they seen it, But it wasn't a big
- 49:52Speaker 7: deal because people saw me doing other shit.
- 49:55Speaker 2: I had to find a way out. That was my
- 49:58Speaker 2: way out.
- 49:59Speaker 7: Once I roast, say motherfuckers, I got their attention. But
- 50:03Speaker 7: once I started doing other shit. I was like, ooh,
- 50:06Speaker 7: I ain't gotta roast niggas. And then it was like,
- 50:08Speaker 7: I don't even hear them, motherfuckers. They not even saying
- 50:12Speaker 7: I don't roast niggas no more. But they started following me, So.
- 50:15Speaker 2: You start hosting, start doing more, doing other shit on here.
- 50:17Speaker 2: But I got them.
- 50:18Speaker 7: So now I done took y'all on the journey where
- 50:20Speaker 7: y'all seeing me grow in transition.
- 50:22Speaker 2: You see what I'm saying, But you have to look new.
- 50:24Speaker 2: You gotta want to do it. Not do it for
- 50:26Speaker 2: the chick. No, I do it for the art. I little.
- 50:28Speaker 2: I'm entertained.
- 50:29Speaker 7: It just so happened the social media era came, so
- 50:32Speaker 7: I just took advantage of the opportunity. So when I
- 50:35Speaker 7: see a lot of people that's on social media, they
- 50:36Speaker 7: gain that particular jump or they keep going.
- 50:40Speaker 2: I'm like, shit, that's all a thirty percent. You gotta
- 50:43Speaker 2: keep on.
- 50:43Speaker 3: So, I mean y'all on the other end of it now, right,
- 50:45Speaker 3: because now you have a platform that has to create content.
- 50:49Speaker 3: So how is that like when y'all trying to find talent,
- 50:52Speaker 3: we go find them, niggas, we go find them, you're
- 50:54Speaker 3: still watching them. We go find them saying nigga that
- 50:56Speaker 3: they're like us, and then we give them opportunities. They
- 50:58Speaker 3: go to the knicks.
- 51:00Speaker 6: You.
- 51:00Speaker 7: I don't want to compare you nobody, but it's like,
- 51:02Speaker 7: I'm in a position.
- 51:03Speaker 2: To help you because this is how it goes. We
- 51:06Speaker 2: do this and we give back.
- 51:08Speaker 7: We do the blueprint, we follow the blueprint, we create
- 51:11Speaker 7: another blueprint for other motherfuckers to create blueprints for other
- 51:14Speaker 7: motherfuckers with blueprint.
- 51:15Speaker 2: So it's like, look, this is what we do.
- 51:17Speaker 6: We create opportunities relationship based too, Like y'all have a
- 51:20Speaker 6: relationship with financial understanding and literacy. So if I want
- 51:25Speaker 6: to learn about a relationship that I'm not in, I
- 51:27Speaker 6: have to be willing to accept the fact that I
- 51:29Speaker 6: am not.
- 51:30Speaker 2: This not my thing.
- 51:32Speaker 6: So are y'all willing to introduce me to the thing
- 51:35Speaker 6: that y'all do every day?
- 51:36Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 51:37Speaker 6: It's being able to be guided in that direction. It
- 51:40Speaker 6: is the most important thing because a lot of people
- 51:42Speaker 6: become successful in what they believe success is and then
- 51:45Speaker 6: allow that to shape everything that they do around them.
- 51:47Speaker 6: It don't work like that. It becoming successful is just
- 51:51Speaker 6: the opportunity to be able to introduce yourself to other
- 51:54Speaker 6: relationships that you didn't know existed before you got into
- 51:56Speaker 6: a certain room.
- 51:57Speaker 8: It's certain rooms that y'all won't be able to get
- 51:59Speaker 8: in to now.
- 52:00Speaker 6: But even though y'all have a relationship with finances, if
- 52:03Speaker 6: you walk into a room with an architect who's building buildings,
- 52:06Speaker 6: you're not gonna be like, well, I know money, so
- 52:07Speaker 6: I ain't got to listen to this shit y'all talking about.
- 52:09Speaker 6: I got the bread to be able to Nah. You
- 52:11Speaker 6: want to be able to open yourself up. Man, I
- 52:13Speaker 6: know everything because I don't know nothing.
- 52:15Speaker 8: Teach me.
- 52:16Speaker 2: I'm willing to learn, you know what I mean.
- 52:18Speaker 6: And it's like when you find somebody that's willing to learn,
- 52:20Speaker 6: it don't matter what level they at. You can take
- 52:23Speaker 6: that person and be able to, oh, yeah, come on
- 52:25Speaker 6: because in your learner, you're gonna be able to teach
- 52:27Speaker 6: me something because it's something that you got that I
- 52:29Speaker 6: didn't get when I was at your stage. So I'm
- 52:31Speaker 6: gonna be able to pick up something I can use
- 52:33Speaker 6: at my level because I'm open minded and willing to
- 52:36Speaker 6: learn from whatever it is. Your relationship is if you
- 52:39Speaker 6: do something every day. I wish I would try to
- 52:41Speaker 6: come in and act like I know as much as you.
- 52:43Speaker 6: I hate when people do that, Like you ever seen
- 52:45Speaker 6: you having a conversation or nigga just buttering you talking
- 52:47Speaker 6: about stocks and trading? Well yeah, well you know if
- 52:50Speaker 6: you take the third trike and put it up on
- 52:52Speaker 6: the other one. You know I did that before, and
- 52:54Speaker 6: it killed a conversation because now you want to try
- 52:57Speaker 6: to insert yourself by acting like you know something you
- 52:59Speaker 6: don't know. Shut up, just be quiet and listen. That's
- 53:02Speaker 6: me and that's all of us. We're just like, okay,
- 53:04Speaker 6: what else you say?
- 53:05Speaker 2: All right? Bet bet?
- 53:07Speaker 6: Now if I go utilize what you said and it's
- 53:09Speaker 6: some bullshit, I know, never to listen to you again.
- 53:11Speaker 6: But if it's good information, and I know I got
- 53:13Speaker 6: somewhere to go to get good information.
- 53:14Speaker 7: So that's just what you just told me. You you
- 53:16Speaker 7: gambled twelve. I didn't look at you like you I'm sorry,
- 53:21Speaker 7: invest I'm comfort street, my shit, investing just a proper word.
- 53:26Speaker 7: I didn't look at you like what the fuck these
- 53:29Speaker 7: niggamost been.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Lying to me?
- 53:30Speaker 7: I said, oh shit, nigga, you need to learn the
- 53:33Speaker 7: twelve investment rule. So maybe you've been over studying and
- 53:38Speaker 7: overdoing it. You may be better at just doing the
- 53:40Speaker 7: twelve instead of option. You should say twelve a whole thesis.

- 55:37Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 55:41Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 55:45Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 55:49Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 55:53Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 55:57Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christine no, United States Secretary
- 56:01Speaker 1: of Homeland security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border crossings
- 56:06Speaker 1: are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over one
- 56:09Speaker 1: hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you were
- 56:12Speaker 1: here illegally, you're next. You will be fine nearly one
- 56:16Speaker 1: thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported. You will never return.
- 56:21Speaker 1: But if you register using our CBP home app and
- 56:24Speaker 1: leave now, you could be allowed to return legally. Do
- 56:28Speaker 1: what's right.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Leave now.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Under President Trump, America's laws, border and families will be
- 56:34Speaker 1: protected sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 56:43Speaker 9: But do you see just the little conversation that we
- 56:46Speaker 9: have right now, just like you was asking them earlier
- 56:48Speaker 9: about the chat shit GVT.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Okay, so check that we travel all around the country.
- 56:53Speaker 9: Bro, we wug around and be in Washington one night
- 56:56Speaker 9: some white dude, dude, I'm working on some shit you've
- 56:58Speaker 9: heard of chat brow I'm up work shopping, just telling
- 57:01Speaker 9: me about this ship.
- 57:02Speaker 2: Get in touch with me.
- 57:03Speaker 8: Will talk about some things kicking like.
- 57:06Speaker 9: We run into people who you know what I mean,
- 57:10Speaker 9: Like that got the infrastructure, That's what I'm saying. Like
- 57:13Speaker 9: just sitting back and people game and listening and shutting
- 57:15Speaker 9: the funk up. When you don't know what people talking about.
- 57:18Speaker 9: You can pick Like I said, you can pick up
- 57:20Speaker 9: a whole lot of game just by exchanging with somebody
- 57:23Speaker 9: who's on like another professional that don't even necessarily have
- 57:26Speaker 9: to be in your field or ring.
- 57:28Speaker 7: Learning to get you far, learning to get you far,
- 57:31Speaker 7: and wanting to learn to get you even further. Yeah,
- 57:34Speaker 7: you see what I'm saying. So you have to I
- 57:37Speaker 7: don't know nothing about this, bro. It's like going to school. Bro,
- 57:40Speaker 7: how the hell you already prepared to go to third
- 57:42Speaker 7: grade and even went through second grade.
- 57:45Speaker 2: You don't know nothing. You don't even know what you're
- 57:46Speaker 2: gonna learn that much, bro.
- 57:47Speaker 7: But you you swear you ready to go to third grade,
- 57:49Speaker 7: but by the time you learn the lesson for next month,
- 57:52Speaker 7: you're like, oh shit, this ship hardy fun.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but see one.
- 57:56Speaker 9: Then they try to cheat you though you fuck around
- 57:58Speaker 9: and you skipped that second grade, and they'll be like, man,
- 58:00Speaker 9: you ain't gonna learn how to do shit in second grade.
- 58:02Speaker 9: But color anyway. You already know how to color, right.
- 58:05Speaker 7: But you got to be like, you know what, I
- 58:07Speaker 7: don't want to just color. I'm here to learn whatever
- 58:09Speaker 7: I need to learn.
- 58:10Speaker 2: So I go to the next step next time. So
- 58:12Speaker 2: you gotta be you gotta be like, you gotta really
- 58:15Speaker 2: want to do this shit.
- 58:16Speaker 4: So let me ask you guys this, As far as
- 58:18Speaker 4: the eighty five South media, right you had, you guys
- 58:21Speaker 4: are producing shows now.
- 58:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, sir.
- 58:23Speaker 5: So you got poor.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Mons rat to n Half Green, Broken Play.
- 58:26Speaker 4: Broke Green, So that funny, dude, What's what's the deal
- 58:30Speaker 4: with that? And how did that come about?
- 58:33Speaker 6: It's you know, just wanting to put on them different hats,
- 58:35Speaker 6: you know what I mean. And understand, we didn't been
- 58:37Speaker 6: We didn't been in the entertainment business, you know, I
- 58:40Speaker 6: would say professionally, being on the other side of the media.
- 58:44Speaker 6: And since twenty thirteen for me and Los and what
- 58:46Speaker 6: twenty fifteen for him, So we've been watching all of
- 58:50Speaker 6: these things from a standpoint of being you know, employees
- 58:55Speaker 6: and basically watching and seeing how all of these things work.
- 58:58Speaker 8: So once you see how it works, you.
- 59:00Speaker 6: Say, okay, well, man, I think if you would have
- 59:02Speaker 6: been able to put that little touch on it. But
- 59:04Speaker 6: you can't necessarily go to somebody who has already established
- 59:07Speaker 6: what they do and put your touch on it. So
- 59:09Speaker 6: when you get the opportunity to put your touch on something.
- 59:12Speaker 6: You want to put your touch on all of the
- 59:13Speaker 6: different things that you've seen going on around you.
- 59:15Speaker 8: We've been in media for so long. It's like we
- 59:18Speaker 8: know that.
- 59:18Speaker 6: Man if we just came out with a show that
- 59:21Speaker 6: was for adults, but it was a kid show, like
- 59:24Speaker 6: that a goal, But.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Look at this, this is one of the I ain't
- 59:27Speaker 2: cut you off? Are you good? Bro?
- 59:28Speaker 9: But it's just like this, right, like you said, nav Green,
- 59:32Speaker 9: that's a funny dude, Poor Minds.
- 59:33Speaker 8: I love that show. These are people that we know personally.
- 59:36Speaker 9: Right, wouldn't it be crazy as hell if it took
- 59:39Speaker 9: Earn your leisure to come down and say, naw, bro,
- 59:41Speaker 9: you funny's hell want we want to.
- 59:43Speaker 2: Produce your show? And he got partners right here beside him.
- 59:47Speaker 9: It's like we open nine platform up when we saw
- 59:50Speaker 9: Poor Minds. It's like them the home Girls, but we
- 59:54Speaker 9: can't discount that they some bad ass hicks too, and
- 59:57Speaker 9: whatever they talking about, badass chicks wanted him talking about it.
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: It's proven to see the numbers they have live shows.
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: The whole fucking club full of badass chicks. We may
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: not ever be able to sit there and watch everything
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: that they're talking about.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: But it works and they don't. We don't have to
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: look for them.
- 1:00:17Speaker 9: They are just as diligent with their hard work as
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: we are. Nav Green would show up anytime we call
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: and say, bro, come and co hosts or be on
- 1:00:26Speaker 9: the show with us. And every time he on the show,
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: you know what, the comments be full of no fun.
- 1:00:31Speaker 9: His hell, y'all trying to hold Naw back, put nav on.
- 1:00:34Speaker 9: Nav need his own ship. We would look crazy as
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: hell if somebody else had to come and put our
- 1:00:39Speaker 9: friends on, right.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Yeah, So talk about that, man, I mean, in order
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: to produce those shows. I remember when you guys at
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: the first studio, right, and all we kept hearing was like, yo,
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: we got this new thing. We're working on, this new studio,
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: this new studio, and that was here. And so when
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: we went to Tapeport Minds we got to see the studio.
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: We got a nice tour of it. Talk about the
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: vision that has that as the bag for eighty five
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: South Mension.
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: It's a it's a foundation we can we cannot never
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: not say, oh man, where can we create it? We
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: can create it, we can make it right here, whatever
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: we want to do. That's just like when any of
- 1:01:14Speaker 7: us come up with some type of situation, we agree
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: without even getting the full breakdown of it. You're like, man,
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: I don't want to do that. Man, you know which
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: that's that's how conversations. You know, I'm trying to create
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: the show. You know, I'm fucking with it. Like, you
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: don't have to tell me ship, just let me know
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: when to pull up right.
- 1:01:33Speaker 9: And it's just like we saw what y'all did with
- 1:01:35Speaker 9: invest Fest. So the next time y'all come to Atlanta
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: and y'all got all these people that are in the city,
- 1:01:41Speaker 9: we don't want y'all calling around.
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: Man, we need this studio. We need this like, look,
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: pull up, let's get it. You can interview, have a
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: many people you want to interview. Invest Fest from eighty
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: five South Studios.
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: Got five rooms. Y'all got it for half along, y'all here,
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: run it up.
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: Let's six.
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: Let's not just let's be partners. Let's exchange some money
- 1:02:04Speaker 9: across the board. We want to booth at the next investments.
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: We want to whatever it is, we gotta get on
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: these panels and support y'all have or y'all need you
- 1:02:13Speaker 9: know what I'm saying.
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: This is what's gonna push all of us to the top.
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: And that's what, like you said, that's gonna break the
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: generational Kurtin be afraid the rocks when they see that
- 1:02:22Speaker 9: we all came together and we're gonna all support Charlamagne
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: and we're gonna find the black people over there at
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: the other places that we don't know nothing about yet
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: we needed. We're gonna connect with everybody and try to
- 1:02:32Speaker 9: change the situation for everybody. So the next the next
- 1:02:36Speaker 9: generation of your son and your son or whoever, all
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: our sons can be sitting here and keeping this shit
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: going all the way to our grandsons and greats facts.
- 1:02:45Speaker 9: So I don't want this to just benefit us while
- 1:02:48Speaker 9: we're here and we're you know, the able bodies to
- 1:02:51Speaker 9: make it happen. We want to build a legacy there
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: something that they could say, Man, have you been to
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: the eighty five studio? It is the oldest black studio
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: in Georgia right when they came out with it, Man
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: and ship.
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: My granddaddy, uh the John White DC, and you know,
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: just to.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: Be that's like you've been the top Hersey though of
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: course we've.
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: Been all of it, all of them, but it's like
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: you know, you're working for that picture over the fireplace.
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: Man, That's what it's about. When you walk in the
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: room and.
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: Like, who's that. Oh, that's that's great great grandfather, you
- 1:03:29Speaker 6: know what I mean. And it's like that picture over
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: the fireplace, that legacy. We don't have those legacies, you know,
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: some some way along the line, somebody for some reason
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: fucked it up. But it's just because the blueprint wasn't
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: really given. Like people get it and then keep it.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: It's like I'm not showing. I can't tell.
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: Nobody this because that might mess up what it is
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: I got going on. But the reality is if you
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: create a blueprint for your people and change your reality,
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: then that means you're supposed to give it as much
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: as you can. Because you ain't doing nothing of building
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: something that you can prop yourself up on.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: You know everything.
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: You ain't in control of life. So life happens to everybody.
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: But if you got a good foundation and you done
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: treated people right along the way, you always have had
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: somebody be like man, man, picky, picky, boot straps up, Man,
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: come on, I got you. And that's important for us,
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: you know, because we've seen what it looks like to
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: not have that type of support, so we wanted to
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: make sure that we created it for ourselves.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: That's a fact, man.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: And the Ghetto Legends tour incredible tribute to all the
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: ghetto legends who never get they just do. But I'm
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: saying that because I've seen that tour and now I've
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: seen poor Minds. They have a tour and show's division
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: from and say, we got a tour. It's so humble
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: over here in Vence Fence did numbers. Glad you witnessed
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: and was of that, But I'm just.
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: Coming this year.
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: Most definitely the tour y'all.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Last Yeah, y'all were going to be there, but Chad
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: was like, Yo, they're gonna they They're going to be
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: out of town.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: Y'all was on tour Cali. I think the show in
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: Sacra Medal, so the weekend's just and uh we had
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Second San Diego there, Ye did Second sand Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: I would say from the touring standpoint, is the vision
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: law term to have the entire network of shows actually
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: go out and now it's like, Yo, this is this
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: is what our presentation to the world.
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: You know, we got a touring company too. Let's talk
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: about it.
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: We got gang of businesses that we never bring up
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: to our company looking.
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: Like, uh, booking a hell of a tour for.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: I tell you that you book your own book, your
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: own venues and all that.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: So that's what we do too.
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: So that's that's important to talk about because I feel
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: like a lot of the middlemen are not really beneficial
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: when you think about it, like you know what I mean,
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: Like it's like, all right, what can you do, Well,
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: we can book the venue for you, Well, we can
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: book the venue ourselves. We can help promote it, well,
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: we can help we can promote it ourselves. Why are
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: we paying you something that we can do ourselves.
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: A lot of people won't won't allow you.
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: I'm sure that you guys have ran into those guys
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: who who will try to make sure that you don't
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: have the information to get to be able to go
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: to the venue and be like, well this this is
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: my guy.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: He don't want to talk to nobody but me, you
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: know what I'm saying.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: So it's kind of different, like people out of the way,
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: you know what I mean, and get straight direct to
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: the source.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: So if you get to a point.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: But one of the things that they can never deny
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: is what you do when you're in there. If you
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: get in there and you sell them tickets, whoever own
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: that venue going to be like man an get better
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: on the phone with who was.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: The dude that sold out three nights? Just now? I
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: mean like because now you have this grand jaz Yeah.
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: But sometimes.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: Innovation comes out of necessity, and it's like for us,
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: I think the benefit with us is that we start,
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: like you said, we're kind of pioneers in the financial
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: literacy s so we didn't even have the luxury of
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: like music or comedy with it's already established industries.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: You got agents, you got so it's like you already.
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: We had to just figure it out for ourselves because
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: we didn't have an option to go through that. So
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: like we literally had to call a venue. We had
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: to oh, we just wasn't going to do the show.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: So all we know is independence. By just that was
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: the only option that we had. That's beneficial because now
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: we learned every aspect of it. So now when we
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: become big enough where now talent agencies are reaching out
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: and then like, yo, we want to produce this for you,
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: It's like we got all the information already, Like, but.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: That makes y'all more valuable exactly. Exactly, they have way more.
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: Valuable because I only need you for your surface exactly.
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: They looking at us like we can they sell out
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: a venue like that holds twelve fifteen people because it's
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: unheard of heard, they've never seen it before. The ship
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: look normal, like what are you'll tripping on? Right?
- 1:07:31Speaker 9: We know we can do that, And then I'm tripping
- 1:07:33Speaker 9: because I'm like, man, we only sold it out right,
- 1:07:36Speaker 9: We're supposed to be in the show.
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: That's the fact.
- 1:07:38Speaker 7: Call quick, Yeah, what made y'all do what y'all do? Because,
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: like you said, financial advice and a lot of us
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: is scared to talk about money, like I'm terrible.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Talk about so much. But why y'all give financial advice?
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: And what was it to say? You know what? These
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: people need it?
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: Well I think timing is everything, right, So looking at
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: the landscape online on social media, you see like this
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: is an opportunity to relay information in a unique way.
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: It's like when Stuart Scott was like on ESPN early
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: and he was talking about sports but using like you know, basketball,
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: like street references and hip hop and all of that.
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: So yeah, exactly.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: So the vision, the vision, you know, it was just
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: like an open landscape where it's like, all right, business
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: is always forever. There's always been a Wall Street Journal
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: CNBC likes it's not a unique industry, but the way
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: that we curated is unique. So I think it was
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: just one of these things where you know, we have
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: a relationship.
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: We knew each other forever.
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: He was a teacher.
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: I'm a financial advisor before I did this, so we
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: already have the financial literacy aspect of it. We've been
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: teaching kids in the classroom, doing all of the work.
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: So now it's like, all right, this is time to
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: actually go outside of just a couple of people in
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: the community and go on social media and then want
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: social media embraced it.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: So now it just spreads like wildfire. Right, people wanted
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: to invest in.
- 1:09:18Speaker 9: I wanted to answer, are the kids receptive to the
- 1:09:20Speaker 9: financial advice? Because people always they never taught us this, Like,
- 1:09:24Speaker 9: what what's the feedback y'all getting from there?
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: The kid to learn it because the parents are learning right,
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: And so that's one of those things when you realize
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: there's no age limit to this, because like you said,
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: it's rooted in education. First, it was first fourteen year
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: olds that we were teaching, right, and it was like, wait,
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: they're grasping this, so like, imagine what they're going to
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: do at twenty five.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Imagine what they're gonna do at twenty one.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: And then their parents didn't really have the information either,
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: so it was like everybody's learned at the same time,
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: so that it's always been rooted in that the kids
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: now are like, this is great because now they're learning
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: about investing so young, and they learned about the stopwalket
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: and they're talking about things other than you know, who's
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: you heard that verse? Right, So the school he's going
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: to now, stocks are coming into the conversation, real estate
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: is coming into the conversation. Cryptos part of the conversation,
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: the barbership conversation is are changing. So it goes like
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: once those conversations start changing, the mondst.
- 1:10:13Speaker 7: Starts expecting school conditions people to have a job, but
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: to be employed. Y'all conditioned him to keep a job.
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: We never had nothing to condition us to keep the money.
- 1:10:24Speaker 7: I feel like economics was the only class that had
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: some type of financial advice.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: And they took it out at that As a senior
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: as an elective rare. They started taking it out and
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: for semester semester.
- 1:10:35Speaker 4: But also it's like this, I always say, this is
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: the greatest dimension of all time in my opinion, because
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: it literally connects everything. You can FaceTime somebody in China,
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: you can you know, email somebody, you can talk on
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: the phone, text message, and social media, can't they You
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: can't downplay the role of social media. Social media. There
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: would be no earr leash if it wasn't for social media.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: There'll be no a lot of places if it wasn't
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: for social media. Because it's like prior to that, you
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: couldn't start a media company in nineteen ninety with no money,
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: Like you know what I'm saying, Like you had to
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: go to NBCABC, Like there's only like a few different companies,
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: right Like we literally started a media company on a
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: cell phone. That's just looking at the landscape of social media,
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: seeing like this is a moment in history where anybody
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: can really become a celebrity. Previously, in order to be
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: a celebrity, you had to be a comedian, or a
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: basketball player, athlete, or a musician. Right then, It's like
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: now you could be a celebrity chef. You could be
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: a celebrity trainer, Barbara, you could be a celebrity barber,
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: or you can even be a celebrity financial teacher. Right,
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: So seeing that, like social media is such a powerful
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: tool because it's empowered people. It's a lot of negative
- 1:11:50Speaker 4: on social media, but it's a lot of positive with
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: now it's giving people platforms to not only speak to ten, fifteen,
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: twenty people, millions of people, right, and that really is
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: a unique moment in history. There's never been a moment
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: in history. Like people try to downplay things and they'll say,
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: like you're a social media influencer, but you're really a
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: world leader because there's very few moments in history where
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: people have had a million people that follow them.
- 1:12:17Speaker 9: Man, that's scary when you put that shit like that,
- 1:12:20Speaker 9: Like just think about like influencer, that's the same choice
- 1:12:22Speaker 9: of word.
- 1:12:23Speaker 8: Can you imagine if they was branding people as world
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: leaders on social media?
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: But that's a fact that like think about throughout history,
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: how many people had a million people that followed But
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: this is.
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: The thing, though, just because you go viral, does it
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: mean that you're interesting? Like that's a fact you you
- 1:12:39Speaker 7: went viral, because somebody don't want to see the next
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: stupid shit you're gonna do and that so things are
- 1:12:44Speaker 7: being promoted too. But y'all have taken social media and
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: like you said, use it as a brand. Y'all created
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: a brand and you can grow, especially if you have
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: something that people can invest it. I watch out all
- 1:12:54Speaker 7: the time because I like financial vice, So I'm tuned
- 1:12:58Speaker 7: in to what the fuck y'all got.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: To because I feel like I know what y'all talking about.
- 1:13:02Speaker 9: See y'all on social media, and I know y'all in
- 1:13:04Speaker 9: the in the financial space, I'd be wanting, like the comedian,
- 1:13:07Speaker 9: they even want to be leaving coming like bro.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: Cast niggas watching it.
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: That's my question that y'all like, like you said, it's
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: always been a Wall Street journal. It's always been you know,
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: Wall Street has always existed. You know that the world
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: has really ran from this island right here in New York. Like,
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: how has that old god treated y'all, because now you know,
- 1:13:32Speaker 6: you can't deny that you guys are financially you know,
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: in a space where you're influencing the game that has
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: been going on for a long time. So how have
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: y'all been received in that old God that Wall Street
- 1:13:44Speaker 6: crowd that that you know, those guys who have been,
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: you know, generationally dealing with money, and then here come
- 1:13:49Speaker 6: two black men that started a media company on the
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: Internet that more people are listening to than coming down
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: to Wall Street and going up in the buildings like
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: they were supposed to do for years.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: I think it's interesting the people were inside of it,
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: especially because the look of it is completely different, right, Like,
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: you're not expecting that information that's coming from Wall Street
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: from two guys that look like us until it does.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: And so the guys that are inside that that are like, yo,
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: thank you. Right, I couldn't say the things that y'all say.
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: There's all kind of compliances that I can't speak, the
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: language that y'all and the fact that y'all doing it
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: in a language that's so digestible, Like he can understand it,
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: You can understand it, your sister can understand your mom
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: can understand it. That wasn't happening very intentionally, right, Like
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: we want to make sure that the language is at
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: this level so that they can't understand it, so they
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: can never take advantage of it until we be like,
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: all right, let's the coded for them. This is what
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: they're really saying. And here's how you really could invest.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Now you get the information, you take advantage of it.
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: And so I think the I think the higher ups,
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: I don't think they fully of realized.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: The impact yet.
- 1:14:49Speaker 9: But y'all being able to penetrate the corporate slam ball
- 1:14:53Speaker 9: lass niggas like you get like a random DM from
- 1:14:56Speaker 9: a profile, no picture, and it just be like Johnson
- 1:14:59Speaker 9: and Johnson's going, Billy, I'll tell you this because.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: Let me, I just want to add that point because
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: the impact I don't know if they realized yet, like
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: the higher higher ups, right, but that I'm fine with
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: that because who has felt the impact is the people
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: that look like us, right right, And like by the
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: time they get the information, utilize it, execute it and
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: start making money.
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: Right it's the next because we don't know none of
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: this information, not in our community.
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: That's not none that you do. But never crossed that. Yeah,
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: he said he's fine with it, but I'm not because
- 1:15:33Speaker 4: this is this is a thing. So we are making
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: in roads. Like we've been on CNBC a bunch of times,
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: he's been on Bloomberg. We've got a lot of like
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: the Morning show stuff like that. But CNN came to
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: invest Fest last year. But it's like you have to
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: be the level of exceptional that you have to be
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: just to even be on a radar. So black is
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: crazy because it's like, all right, if you look at
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: early alesha, Right, We're do an event like invest Fest
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: last year in Atlanta with fourteen thousand people, Steve Harvey,
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: Tyler Perry, all.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Of these different people, like all black people.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: Like there's no event in the world like that, right,
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: That's just it's exceptional within itself. Then you've got a
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: network where we have our show, which is one of
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: the top business podcasts. We have nineteen Keys show, which
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: is one of the top podcasts. We have market we
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: have like three hit shows. That's difficult for any podcast
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: network talking independent. So it's like we go on world tour,
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: we do Royal Alberhole in London, seeing him comes to Investments.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: I appreciate them coming, but them coming they the narrative
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: was something about the Democratic Party or like it was
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: a political play. They're like, well, this is how we
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: have to kind of weave it in. Why Like why
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: don't you why the story should be fourteen thousand came to.
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: Atlanta about it.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: Yeah, you're talking about So it's like they it's a
- 1:16:58Speaker 4: certain level of respect that's still not given. You know
- 1:17:02Speaker 4: what I'm saying. It's like no matter how, but miraculous
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: you're making it.
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: I come back with the fourteen thousand and do some
- 1:17:10Speaker 9: ship that they said.
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: Here's the thing though, right, the fourteen thousand people that came,
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: they got the information that's going to impact their lives.
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: I'm looking at For why I say, I'm fine, it's
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: because I don't really need your validation. See, and that's
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: why I was for getting that.
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: The next time you come back, you do do some
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: political ship, and then you fucking flip the vote, and
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: now they really have the story.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: They're talking about the political part with the financials.
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: Here's a danger part. So here's a dangerous part. It's
- 1:17:36Speaker 4: not that we're looking we need the validation. But this
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: goes back to the finance conversation where they're like, all right,
- 1:17:42Speaker 4: technically early a Lisia is already a billion dollar company
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: if we were white, right, so how many more people
- 1:17:50Speaker 4: could we employ? How many more? This is this is
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: the issue, like we gotta have some white It's like
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: Timberland something said something that was insightful to us. He
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: was like, Yo, how come all of our billionaires are
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: worth one billion?
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: Two billion?
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Like everybody's two billion.
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: He was like to me, Jason, he's already worth thirty billion,
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: because look at what he's done. Like, you know, you
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: got dudes that you never even heard of worth eighteen
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: billion off of a dog company.
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: And you know what I'm saying, it's like dealing with
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: a system creative. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: The level of the level of exceptional, there's something that
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: you have to be when you're black is different, and
- 1:18:23Speaker 4: it's hard. It's hard for people to even have sympathy
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: for that because it's like, if you're just working, just
- 1:18:28Speaker 4: trying to just put food on the table, you're not
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: trying to hear about what.
- 1:18:31Speaker 9: I'm saying right now, right, some money in some motherfuckers
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: O me six get it.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: But that's but now y'all, but y'all in the space,
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: y'all got it. So now this is like a conversation
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: that you could probably relate to right when they calling
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: you like podcasters and it's like, Yo, we did all
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: of this, We got it.
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: Now, we got a building dog Like oh no, you
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: gotta understand what us.
- 1:18:50Speaker 6: People were moving the gold post with us for years,
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: Like you got to understand like when when you show
- 1:18:56Speaker 6: one of the things that I realize about any form
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: of entertainment or anything that you do when you're in
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: front of people, it's a certain level of natural ability
- 1:19:04Speaker 6: that comes with that. But when people see that the
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: things that it takes them I'm talking about weeks and
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: months to practice and try, and you can just show
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: up out the get out the car.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: Yawning or what we're doing alright, boom.
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: Those people immediately say, oh, well, we can't judge them
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: by the same parameters because fuck.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: That, you know what I mean.
- 1:19:23Speaker 6: It was too easy for them, So now we got
- 1:19:24Speaker 6: to move the gold posts over here. Everybody else is
- 1:19:27Speaker 6: great if they get this accomplished. But since you accomplished
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: it so easy, you got to jump over six hurdles. Now,
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: like I see it. Do that, then you jump over
- 1:19:35Speaker 6: the six hurdles. They're like, well jump on this. But see,
- 1:19:40Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying, just how it go?
- 1:19:42Speaker 7: Well, humble enough to know that we could be replaced,
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: but were wise enough to know that came a boy,
- 1:19:49Speaker 7: the fuck with us?
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Damn I wish you would have said that. I had
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: somebody that wanted to say that to.
- 1:19:58Speaker 9: I had a perfect situation that would have hit well, like.
- 1:20:02Speaker 7: You say, I get that that's a human nature of
- 1:20:06Speaker 7: saying you frustrated because it's like, bro, stop playing with
- 1:20:08Speaker 7: our name. Bro, But I'm more so on your side
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: like bro. Fun But they see that that's the narrative.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: They want to paint.
- 1:20:17Speaker 7: We brought fourteen thousand motherfuckers who say different. Next time,
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: we're gonna bring twenty eight. They didn't create what they
- 1:20:25Speaker 7: want to say. As long as we keep going further,
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: we keep doing we spot to do, it's gonna.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: Fall in place, all for him place.
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: If we got we came.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: The station I got was I want, Yeah, Yeah, you
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: gotta come back. You gotta take the pluge of pause
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: they've been doing.
- 1:21:00Speaker 8: They've been doing that forever at just y'all.
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: Having fourteen thousand people, I'm sure that there probably wasn't
- 1:21:05Speaker 6: the number that was promoted.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: It's no different they did it with the million man monster, know,
- 1:21:10Speaker 6: I mean like it was it was two hundred thousand people.
- 1:21:13Speaker 9: It was way what if they cheating them? Maybe it
- 1:21:15Speaker 9: might have been twenty. They just told them it was fourteen.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: That's not exactly.
- 1:21:18Speaker 9: We have owniggs outside come in too, that's yeah.
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: And it was people that was on their way that
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: didn't make it. You get to count them too.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: So I wonder as y'all are creating more businesses and
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: creating more verticals, and y'all looking at it like, yo,
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: we've added more access to this company. At some point,
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: if a Comcast comes asking like, hey, we're interested in
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: adding eighty five Media, ay five South Media to the portfolio,
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: Apple TV comes and stuff like we want to add,
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: is that a conversation that y'all be willing to have?
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:21:49Speaker 9: Yeah, because my whole goal is in life is just
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: to make a hundred million dollars or so one hundred
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: million U.
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: That sounded like one hundred million dollar conversation to me.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: I'm definitely have it.
- 1:22:01Speaker 9: But why wouldn't we they're not buying us, buy the
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: product right and start another one like it's like I
- 1:22:07Speaker 9: was just you know, I'm real, you know, history buffing
- 1:22:11Speaker 9: certain aspects and y'all grew up watching wrestling, I'm sure
- 1:22:15Speaker 9: absolutely you remember when w CW was owned by Time Warner.
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: You know, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: He owned the company, but then when they got brought out,
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: Ted Turner got brought out and then he you know,
- 1:22:27Speaker 6: lost control of the product to where he didn't have
- 1:22:30Speaker 6: any more control than Eric Bischoff was like, man, how
- 1:22:33Speaker 6: you're going to tell me how to run my company?
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: Like in that conversation, I know, I would just be like, Okay,
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: what is it that I want to be established at?
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: What are you going to turn this into? If we
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: had the keys over to you?
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: Because the product that we've you know, even if we
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: get the money, you still want to look up and
- 1:22:50Speaker 6: see your product still flourished.
- 1:22:51Speaker 8: Now you gotta still play ball.
- 1:22:53Speaker 9: You know why because Ted Turner still on the whole channel,
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: the network.
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: You on the show on.
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: The network, but not when he got brought out, he
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: didn't own anything. He was a figurehead at that point,
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: which is cool, but it's still his channel. Yeah, but
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: you know, either majority or owners. So you pissed this person. Now,
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: now wrestling comes on in three in the morning. Now
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: it's not profitable, no screw because you want to play
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: hardball with Big Dick.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: So you make that noise.
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: At this whoa.
- 1:23:28Speaker 9: I'm just saying you can't go against the bigger boss.
- 1:23:31Speaker 9: Oh yeah, of course all the way.
- 1:23:32Speaker 4: So let me ask you this because this this actually
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: just made me think of something. I know you'll answer
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: this question before, but I always want to know. Personally,
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: did y'all speak to Ross after? Have you spoken to him?
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: But we don't have no problems?
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: No, no, no, I'm just saying, have you spoken?
- 1:23:44Speaker 6: I personally haven't spoken to him, but he did address
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: the fact. No, he addressed. He said I was gonna
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: come back. You know what I'm saying. But I personally haven't.
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: You know, but you never had a conversation. No, No,
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: But if I was to see him, I would be like, bro,
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: hey man, you still come back?
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: I would just ask like I wouldn't you.
- 1:24:00Speaker 9: I just laughed at him, like I mean, it was
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: just why you leave?
- 1:24:05Speaker 8: Bro, Like tell me the real reason why you laught?
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Like he had the bo tell the truth. We had
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: that studio that I think he.
- 1:24:13Speaker 8: Know that that's why we ran into him, like seeing
- 1:24:15Speaker 8: him like once.
- 1:24:16Speaker 9: At the airport that yeah, yeah, how did it go?
- 1:24:21Speaker 9: He's just like my bad homie. Things get the happening,
- 1:24:26Speaker 9: you know what I'm saying. See, that's his influence. Why
- 1:24:28Speaker 9: everybody use his voice when they talk Man.
- 1:24:33Speaker 8: Rose good people many good Man. I wouldn't.
- 1:24:41Speaker 9: I don't expect nothing, nothing less. He did exactly what
- 1:24:45Speaker 9: I thought he would have done, and it's just he
- 1:24:47Speaker 9: was so so himmed it fit. I wouldn't change the
- 1:24:50Speaker 9: way that it happened. At the world talking about it,
- 1:24:53Speaker 9: it was the most shocking moment ever.
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: And the heart that they never talked about is that
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: the show went on. We did an other hour with
- 1:25:01Speaker 6: just us. He left, nothing stopped, and that's what he
- 1:25:05Speaker 6: said right before he left.
- 1:25:06Speaker 8: Man, you got to keep going there. And that's exactly what.
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: We had to create that.
- 1:25:11Speaker 4: I got some inside in for on this because Chad
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: hit me before the episode came out and he was like, yo,
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: crazy having bro.
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: I'm like, what happened. He's like, yo, Ross Ross walked
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: out of the interview.
- 1:25:23Speaker 4: And he didn't he didn't come back, And I'm like,
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: well how long? He was like, well, we was already
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: like forty five minutes. So I'm thinking that. I'm like,
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: it's not that bad. I'm just thinking that you didn't
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: have you didn't close the show. But then I'm like, oh, ship,
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: there actually is another hour after because when I waked
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: because when he was telling me, I didn't understand him, Like,
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: I'm like, he's like, no, we did an hour with
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: him the rad I'm thinking the show is over. He
- 1:25:49Speaker 4: just he just didn't formally close it out. I didn't
- 1:25:52Speaker 4: realize that the show continued until I actually watched. I'm like, oh,
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: they just kept going yeah. I mean, it's just the
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: plan that we different tri We ain't take it to heart.
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: We were just like, we gonna finish what we do
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: and we're trying to figure out what part is.
- 1:26:08Speaker 9: We were probably I would say, maybe a good twenty
- 1:26:11Speaker 9: thirty minutes from finishing on like into that other hour,
- 1:26:16Speaker 9: and we was like, hey he really.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: Before like we like yo, he was like he gone,
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: And then Ryan came was like yeah, guys, sorry.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: He said. I was like, all, pad me the chickaway.
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: I already stupid way he watched the back and fly
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: I said, oh, so that's how the nigga leave. Yeah.
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: But it was love though, and the fact that he
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: felt the need to what he didn't have to do.
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: He didn't have to address it after the fact. But
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: but you know, that goes into what we were talking about.
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: The people we didn't never say nothing about it. Us
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: three that was there never said a word about it
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: beyond or whatever we talked about on the show. But
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: after all the people that supported us said something to
- 1:26:59Speaker 6: him and made him say, you know what a man
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: I was bro. There wasn't no I'm gonna come back
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: and I'm gonna finish. So that was you know the
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: fact that that means that up.
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: This is interesting now, right because I'm like, I've watched
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: y'all plenty of times and it's straight off the top
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: of the head, right, it's impromptu, it's genius.
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: But now we're talking about producer shows making independent movies.
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: Do we now begin writing or do we get we
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: get we get a team around to write like a script, Like,
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: how does that work for you?
- 1:27:35Speaker 8: G BT?
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: That's it right there. We're just gonna make it.
- 1:27:40Speaker 6: Chat g BT to write the script, We turn it
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: in and then show up and film what the funk
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: we want to film?
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: That's what it is, you know, the thirty paid movie
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: right now, and it'll do it? Do it?
- 1:27:51Speaker 9: We all hired came up on different projects, so it
- 1:27:54Speaker 9: would the same thing twice.
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it won't be It won't be shipped to come
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: up with it.
- 1:27:59Speaker 8: We've all been.
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: High taking to write no movie. We'll do it right now,
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: we'll do it. After this guarantee you to do it.
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: It'll do it. And like your comedy stuff. Yeah, everybody
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: knows who you are, and.
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: I promise you, man, we create that movie, they're gonna
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: be like AI on the whole goddamn thing. We know
- 1:28:16Speaker 7: the database what you want the movie to be, because
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: we're gonna play the audio into this database to see
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: you know, I'm real taste saving. Let me take this audio,
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: let me play it into this database. They're gonna be
- 1:28:24Speaker 7: like you're gonna get a season of the Cis Order
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: and then be like, A, I created this entire thing.
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: Well, that's one of the things we don't know. So
- 1:28:32Speaker 4: there's a lot of unknown with AI. We don't know
- 1:28:35Speaker 4: what could happen, that could potentially happen. Who knows everybody.
- 1:28:39Speaker 4: Let's say that's this whole thing. It's just they just
- 1:28:41Speaker 4: letting everybody just get every way anything, and they're gonna
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: come back with the RICO.
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: Now they.
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: Come to get on your mas surfaces.
- 1:28:50Speaker 9: Don't find out who's been stealing everybody's ideas. And then
- 1:28:54Speaker 9: once they label you as a thief. They're gonna start.
- 1:28:57Speaker 9: They're gonna set you up for the rico shit I mean,
- 1:28:59Speaker 9: but gonna give you some ship that they know you're
- 1:29:01Speaker 9: gonna steal, like if you have it on your computer
- 1:29:04Speaker 9: and you're using this ship all the time.
- 1:29:06Speaker 6: That's the part that's scared to me, is like you
- 1:29:08Speaker 6: think about this ship in this stage. It's the etcher
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: sketch at this point, Like that's where we're at in
- 1:29:13Speaker 6: the stage of this is like it's at the edge
- 1:29:15Speaker 6: of sketch stage where all you could do is just draw.
- 1:29:17Speaker 8: Them a little squiggly lines and shake that ship. That's
- 1:29:20Speaker 8: the level.
- 1:29:20Speaker 6: But in ten years who I mean, I got just
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: the thought of what you're gonna be able to do.
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: Edge sketch to an iPad or this is what was
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: scrolled up. Whoa, it's right in the script right now.
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: If you look at the man, No, don't play this
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: ship around me ship. This is the long lane.
- 1:29:38Speaker 8: It says.
- 1:29:39Speaker 9: When the hilarious trio of DC Young Flyer, Carlos Miller
- 1:29:42Speaker 9: and Chico Beans stumbled upon a very treasure man promising
- 1:29:46Speaker 9: one hundred million dollars, they embarked on a wound and
- 1:29:49Speaker 9: up road.

- 1:29:53Speaker 9: Unique blend of comedy and with their face outrageous challenge,
- 1:29:57Speaker 9: eclectic characters and splendy of lambs along the way.
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: What did you just say? On the microphone? Is a
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: few seconds ago? Whoa you just said?
- 1:30:07Speaker 9: South Comedy Club Night DC, Carlos and Chico, the comedic
- 1:30:11Speaker 9: powerhouse known as eighty by itself, performing their side splitting
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: stand up routine to a roaring audience after the show

- 1:31:16Speaker 12: out smart, cunning foods, and of course cracked plenty of
- 1:31:19Speaker 12: jokes along the way.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: That's letting him know you're selling your soul. You gotta
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: be fucked up?
- 1:31:23Speaker 8: What am I laying at man?
- 1:31:27Speaker 9: Well, we're always up for a talente. Let's go get

- 1:31:48Speaker 4: can do, right imagine Elon must yea.
- 1:31:50Speaker 5: That's right now.
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: I'm just at home right now, three D printing and pusses.
- 1:31:54Speaker 8: I heard dadd say something that was profound.
- 1:31:57Speaker 6: Dame Dad said, if you had the ability to read minds,
- 1:31:59Speaker 6: what you tell everybody. So if you think about the
- 1:32:02Speaker 6: people who have the real power, why would they tell
- 1:32:06Speaker 6: us what the real power is? You would be shot
- 1:32:09Speaker 6: if you knew this ship that was really out here?
- 1:32:12Speaker 6: I ask y'all, y'all got the you know, if it
- 1:32:14Speaker 6: was a room, like if they said behind that door,
- 1:32:16Speaker 6: all the real answers to any questions you can ever
- 1:32:19Speaker 6: add in your life, the real unquestionable answers. You're gonna
- 1:32:23Speaker 6: know exactly what the truth is about anything behind this door.
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: What you're going, I'm going, I don't want it.
- 1:32:28Speaker 8: I want to know.
- 1:32:29Speaker 2: I don't want to know.
- 1:32:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I got it door.
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: Be the same ag. What's the first thing?
- 1:32:38Speaker 8: What you're doing y'all? Would that just because I.
- 1:32:44Speaker 7: Listen, man, the Bible told you don't bite the apple
- 1:32:48Speaker 7: off the tree, but you said the apple looked like
- 1:32:51Speaker 7: an apple. I'm going on this side. I already been told.
- 1:32:56Speaker 7: I'm straight, I don't want that apple.
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: You black people are sofa kill me with this.
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: I was fire that I'm going that's gonna be a
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: social media clip with that GBT. That she.
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: First thing, that's a script.
- 1:33:09Speaker 9: That's the first thing. That's what's the first thing you ask?
- 1:33:11Speaker 9: Why do niggas have it so hard? Who set it
- 1:33:15Speaker 9: up like this? Why I'm stupid?
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 1:33:19Speaker 8: Ain't got to go. I'll go over there.
- 1:33:22Speaker 6: I'm just to see how good if this ship is real?
- 1:33:25Speaker 6: Be like, hey, did O J do it?
- 1:33:30Speaker 5: Do it?
- 1:33:32Speaker 8: And then they if they did, they proved like did
- 1:33:34Speaker 8: he do it? Watch this ship?
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: That's the answer to you that too much?
- 1:33:40Speaker 9: Then when they when they play you the clipp and
- 1:33:41Speaker 9: you see them the white man who really killed them folks,
- 1:33:44Speaker 9: you're gonna be.
- 1:33:45Speaker 6: Like, oh ship either way, it's the best ship ever.
- 1:33:49Speaker 8: Man.
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: I don't mind my motherfucking business. I don't want to
- 1:33:55Speaker 2: know if it ain't no book. But you can't change nothing.
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: You just know it.
- 1:33:57Speaker 6: No, you can't change anything like free slave, just mind
- 1:34:02Speaker 6: my business.
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: You can't change nothing. You want to know.
- 1:34:11Speaker 6: Manange, Forever you change, you change, you can't come back
- 1:34:15Speaker 6: into the world. It's like I said, it's like the
- 1:34:16Speaker 6: red peel blue pill. It's like when you remember that.
- 1:34:19Speaker 6: One of my favorite scenes out the Matrix is when
- 1:34:21Speaker 6: my man was explaining what he wanted his life to
- 1:34:24Speaker 6: be like when he went back into Matrix, like I
- 1:34:26Speaker 6: don't I want I want this, I want that, I
- 1:34:28Speaker 6: want this, I want like to be able to establish
- 1:34:30Speaker 6: that type of ship to me. I think that's what
- 1:34:33Speaker 6: we're on our way to. I think you're gonna be
- 1:34:34Speaker 6: able to establish your life the way you wanted to
- 1:34:37Speaker 6: be and just sit down somewhere and have him plug
- 1:34:39Speaker 6: your ass up and you live the life the.
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: Way you want to do it until you pass away.
- 1:34:42Speaker 7: Nigga, canna punch your while you sleep. For he you
- 1:34:46Speaker 7: you ain't gonna know.
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: Because I don't wake you up.
- 1:34:52Speaker 8: You gonna have to unplug so you can pay the
- 1:34:54Speaker 8: fucking bill.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: Now you're gonna have to pay that Inford you get
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: in there.
- 1:34:57Speaker 8: Waking up with then it comes.
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: Off call it expired. Hell now you see that.
- 1:35:06Speaker 4: See they just approved the lab grown chicken man from.
- 1:35:11Speaker 6: Man, I'm from d C. I know I didn't boy
- 1:35:13Speaker 6: them carry outs in the city. Boy, I didn't ate
- 1:35:15Speaker 6: some lab grown everything and something veggie meat that man
- 1:35:19Speaker 6: come on ship for the longest anyway.
- 1:35:23Speaker 5: Like you're talking about like the I don't know.
- 1:35:25Speaker 6: I don't like that the nation, like the way they
- 1:35:28Speaker 6: be like, yeah, it looked like meat. It feels like meat.
- 1:35:31Speaker 6: You know, we got the text your meat is like
- 1:35:33Speaker 6: that sounds like a deal though.
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: Me.
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, now, I never never you never know.
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: You grew up.
- 1:35:46Speaker 5: Eat public school my mom.
- 1:35:48Speaker 4: So you heard out to say, yeah, so my mom
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: went to doctor Sevy like twenty years ago. Like I
- 1:35:54Speaker 4: heard about him when I was a little kid. He
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: used to have a spot in Brooklyn. Act you've been rich. No, Well,
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: he like anybody, he was for the community.
- 1:36:03Speaker 5: He was actually in the community.
- 1:36:04Speaker 4: That's why they said, like when it was like they
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: killed doctor seven, he was teaching help like so Sebby
- 1:36:09Speaker 4: he had a it was like a storefront in Brooklyn.
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: And what happened was like it was just regular people
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: from the neighborhood. I don't even know if he was
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: really charging him like that. It was just like and
- 1:36:18Speaker 4: he was curing people of all kinds of stuff like
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: I've seen the first time of my mom, like she
- 1:36:23Speaker 4: lost like fifty pounds, and it was like all kinds
- 1:36:27Speaker 4: of things that he was doing. And he would just
- 1:36:29Speaker 4: look at you, like she would tell me stories of
- 1:36:31Speaker 4: like he would just look at you like he like breathe,
- 1:36:34Speaker 4: he could smell your breath. He'd be like, all right,
- 1:36:35Speaker 4: this is what you need, Like this is what's wrong.
- 1:36:37Speaker 4: He look at your eyes. You're not doing enough. You
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: need some and he was like and it was just working.
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: So I say that to say, once she got on
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: that kick, she became a vegetarian.
- 1:36:45Speaker 6: The nigga was getting sent to school with jackfruit salad, Like, bro,
- 1:36:51Speaker 6: you got a lexible note, but I got this jackfruit
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: burger if you want to bite, Like, nah, niggah been around.
- 1:36:58Speaker 4: But what I'm saying is that what I'm saying is
- 1:37:00Speaker 4: that I learned early, like the food is the most
- 1:37:04Speaker 4: important thing. Yeact, it's in the food you consume.
- 1:37:06Speaker 5: Important thing like that in the world. So what they
- 1:37:10Speaker 5: the poison is in the food.
- 1:37:11Speaker 6: But here's the thing I don't understand though about that mentality.
- 1:37:14Speaker 6: I respect whatever anybody does, but I just don't understand
- 1:37:17Speaker 6: the mentality when people talk about like meat eaters versus vegetarians.
- 1:37:20Speaker 8: You know how much shit they putting in the meat.
- 1:37:22Speaker 6: So if they have the power to put the ship
- 1:37:25Speaker 6: in the meat, what makes you think that the same
- 1:37:27Speaker 6: people don't have the power to fuck the vegetables up?
- 1:37:29Speaker 6: You're not for you know, I mean, like what like
- 1:37:33Speaker 6: if you're not growing anybody who growing their own food?
- 1:37:36Speaker 8: Them the people, I'm like, oh you really if you going.
- 1:37:39Speaker 9: To buy that on some vegetables that ain't even good
- 1:37:41Speaker 9: enough that bugs won't eat them, they tell you some
- 1:37:43Speaker 9: shit right there.
- 1:37:44Speaker 5: Well even the vegetables and the fruit is not the same.
- 1:37:49Speaker 4: Like you go to other countries and you taste the fruit,
- 1:37:51Speaker 4: it doesn't even taste like the fruit that we got here,
- 1:37:53Speaker 4: Like it's oh.
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: Yeah, when you go to Ghana, get that white pineapple?
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: Man, Oh my god, just like how do we get there?
- 1:38:01Speaker 6: I mean, whatever, whatever they did them, I'm sorry, I'm
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: gonna go ahead them his bomb.
- 1:38:06Speaker 8: They gotta in Ghana.
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: They got a pineapple, but it's white it's not yellow
- 1:38:10Speaker 6: like the pineapple we eat is white pineapple.
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: But this is the best, man, Man, we are coming
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: to seventh. We don't have something come in December.
- 1:38:18Speaker 8: We're gonna have something, y'all in December.
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: Well that's we're gonna be in Gouny twenty seven is
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: when they're going.
- 1:38:25Speaker 6: But I'm going at like I said, I'm going at
- 1:38:27Speaker 6: the end of the year every year now, so.
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: It's a big yeah.
- 1:38:30Speaker 8: In the end of the year into January and Ghana.
- 1:38:33Speaker 6: Like December everybody's that's when everybody comes. The weather is beautiful,
- 1:38:37Speaker 6: they party every day.
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: So you're gonna bring your New Year in Ghana every year?
- 1:38:40Speaker 6: Well, I'm probably work, you know, we work on New
- 1:38:42Speaker 6: Year's but I'm a going to no like that was
- 1:38:46Speaker 6: for the crew, it was the It was the best
- 1:38:48Speaker 6: one of the best decisions I've ever made, because you know,
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: like you know, we all this ship we done went through.
- 1:38:52Speaker 6: I realized, man, I hadn't started grieving Wanda at all.
- 1:38:56Speaker 8: So I went out there for that.
- 1:38:57Speaker 6: And then when I tell you, bre like just being
- 1:38:59Speaker 6: out there and being amongst all the black people and
- 1:39:02Speaker 6: seeing that a lot of the misconceptions that they have
- 1:39:06Speaker 6: been given us over here. They make it seem like
- 1:39:09Speaker 6: over there that were not appreciated in love.
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:39:11Speaker 6: When I went over there, man, then people love us
- 1:39:14Speaker 6: like nigga. We could go over there and do a
- 1:39:16Speaker 6: show for real. It wasn't a day that I walked
- 1:39:19Speaker 6: around that month for it. The people wasn't coming up
- 1:39:21Speaker 6: to me showing me us asking about y'all two niggas.
- 1:39:24Speaker 8: And it was the most peaceful.
- 1:39:25Speaker 6: I'm talking about the people that ain't nobody begging, They
- 1:39:28Speaker 6: all working. It's beautiful, some of the most beautiful women
- 1:39:32Speaker 6: you ever see in your life.
- 1:39:33Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:39:33Speaker 6: Everybody treat you with respect. Everybody's respectful. It's quiet. I
- 1:39:38Speaker 6: ain't hear no dogs barking, no sirens, nothing the whole time.
- 1:39:42Speaker 6: It was just the most peaceful shit I ever did
- 1:39:44Speaker 6: in my life, man. And I advise all black people man.
- 1:39:46Speaker 6: And even if it's not gone to go somewhere in Africa.
