- 0:00Speaker 1: And welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. I hope that
- 0:04Speaker 1: all of you had a great Christmas break. And I
- 0:07Speaker 1: hope that you got to spend the time that you
- 0:09Speaker 1: had off, hopefully, with the people who matter the most
- 0:12Speaker 1: to you. Me, I was able to do just that.
- 0:15Speaker 1: I got to hang out with my amazing girlfriend, my parents,
- 0:18Speaker 1: my family. It was a very nice and relaxing time
- 0:23Speaker 1: all the way around. But if you folks know me
- 0:26Speaker 1: by now, you already know that I was busy at
- 0:29Speaker 1: work at the same time. I don't really take days off, folks.
- 0:34Speaker 1: And I've been working on a new podcast that's going
- 0:37Speaker 1: to be coming out very soon. And this podcast is
- 0:41Speaker 1: going to be based on the new HBO show, House
- 0:46Speaker 1: of the Dragon. Now... I've been talking about this Game
- 0:50Speaker 1: of Thrones podcast for a very long time. For those
- 0:53Speaker 1: of you who have been listening to the other Jeffrey
- 0:55Speaker 1: Epstein show, you know this. But it's starting to all
- 0:59Speaker 1: come into view now. And I've been working on it
- 1:03Speaker 1: for quite some time. And I'm really pumped to change
- 1:06Speaker 1: paces here and talk about something that's not obviously anywhere
- 1:11Speaker 1: near as heavy as the topic we're discussing on a
- 1:15Speaker 1: regular basis, meaning Epstein and Maxwell. So this House of
- 1:20Speaker 1: the Dragon podcast that I've been working on, it's going
- 1:23Speaker 1: to be real fun. We're going to dive into the
- 1:25Speaker 1: Targaryens from the very beginning. We're going to talk about
- 1:28Speaker 1: a lot of the, shall we say, secondary characters. And
- 1:33Speaker 1: we're going to talk about a lot of the issues
- 1:37Speaker 1: that we're going to see in the story on HBO.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But for those of you who are not familiar with
- 1:43Speaker 1: this part of the Game of Thrones lore, if you will, man,
- 1:48Speaker 1: you're really going to be in for a treat. It's
- 1:52Speaker 1: an absolutely epic time as far as that story goes.
- 1:57Speaker 1: And the battle between the Targaryens for supremacy of the
- 2:01Speaker 1: Targaryen dynasty is by far one of George R.R. Martin's
- 2:06Speaker 1: greatest works. So I'm very excited to dive into that,
- 2:11Speaker 1: you know, get to talking about Daemon Targaryen and the
- 2:13Speaker 1: rest of them. And really, you know, Jump into a
- 2:17Speaker 1: topic that is nowhere near as heavy as what we've
- 2:21Speaker 1: been discussing now for three years. Obviously, I also have
- 2:25Speaker 1: my Beyond the Horizon podcast. And over there, we're going
- 2:29Speaker 1: to continue to be talking about the news and, you know,
- 2:32Speaker 1: daily strife in the world and all of that stuff
- 2:35Speaker 1: as well. But I'm pumped up about this Game of
- 2:39Speaker 1: Thrones podcast that I'm getting ready to launch this And
- 2:42Speaker 1: I think a lot of you out there who listen
- 2:45Speaker 1: to this podcast will really like that as well. Considering
- 2:49Speaker 1: I know a ton of you have sent me emails
- 2:51Speaker 1: about Game of Thrones. So get ready for that. It's
- 2:56Speaker 1: coming up within the next month or so. I'll have
- 2:59Speaker 1: a lot more information about the actual release. But the
- 3:03Speaker 1: plan is to release like four or five episodes right away.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So that we're off and running and ready to go.
- 3:11Speaker 1: So that's what I have planned coming up for the
- 3:13Speaker 1: new year for you folks. And a couple of other
- 3:16Speaker 1: projects as well that I've started to work on with
- 3:20Speaker 1: a couple of associates and colleagues that are pretty interesting
- 3:24Speaker 1: as well. So plenty of stuff coming up in the
- 3:27Speaker 1: new year. And obviously, we still have a lot to
- 3:31Speaker 1: unpack as far as Epstein, Maxwell, and their associates. So
- 3:37Speaker 1: we're not going to just forget about these people either.
- 3:41Speaker 1: This discussion is going to continue. These people need to
- 3:45Speaker 1: be brought to account. They need to be held to account.
- 3:47Speaker 1: And they certainly need to be brought to justice. So today, hopefully,
- 3:53Speaker 1: we get a step in that direction, right? The jury
- 3:58Speaker 1: is deliberating now for another full day. And I would
- 4:03Speaker 1: think that we're getting close to verdict time, folks. So
- 4:07Speaker 1: with that said, Why don't we dive into today's topic
- 4:12Speaker 1: and discuss what's going on as we speak in the
- 4:16Speaker 1: courtroom as the jury deliberates. Now, Ghislaine Maxwell got to
- 4:24Speaker 1: spend her 60th birthday in jail on Christmas Day. And I,
- 4:29Speaker 1: for one, am not even upset about it. This lady,
- 4:34Speaker 1: if anybody, has ever deserved to spend their birthday in jail.
- 4:38Speaker 1: If anybody who has ever earned whatever kind of disgusting
- 4:43Speaker 1: Christmas dinner they serve up at jail, it is Ghislaine Maxwell,
- 4:47Speaker 1: in my opinion. This lady is reprehensible. Her whole entire
- 4:52Speaker 1: character is gross and disgusting. And if you believe what
- 4:58Speaker 1: these accusers say, and if you believe what the prosecutors say,
- 5:02Speaker 1: and I do, She's a lot worse than even that.
- 5:08Speaker 1: So we've been through three weeks now of trial. We've
- 5:10Speaker 1: had testimony. We've had witness statements. We've had closing arguments.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And now we just wait for the jury to deliberate.
- 5:22Speaker 1: So my guess is, and again, this is just a guess,
- 5:26Speaker 1: that we'll get close to a verdict very, very soon.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Maybe even today. You know, the jury's coming back. They
- 5:33Speaker 1: got some full bellies, hung out with their families, rested
- 5:37Speaker 1: and recharged and ready to go, you would think. So
- 5:40Speaker 1: my guess is that today or tomorrow will be verdict time.
- 5:46Speaker 1: And I'm certainly on verdict watch all day today. I
- 5:49Speaker 1: was going to go out for a little while today
- 5:51Speaker 1: and head up to the mountains, do some climbing, but
- 5:54Speaker 1: I've decided to stick close to home because I have
- 5:57Speaker 1: a gut feeling that we might get some movement here.
- 6:00Speaker 1: So let's... We have to wait, obviously. We don't know
- 6:04Speaker 1: for sure what's going to happen, but it's just one
- 6:07Speaker 1: of those gut feelings. And I think that after having
- 6:11Speaker 1: their little vacation here, their little three-day break, four-day break
- 6:15Speaker 1: that the jury had, that they're going to be motivated
- 6:20Speaker 1: to get things moving in the proper direction here and
- 6:24Speaker 1: get this show on the road. Now, Trying to read
- 6:28Speaker 1: the tea leaves about what the jury thinks or what
- 6:30Speaker 1: they're up to, that's way above my pay grade. I
- 6:33Speaker 1: have no idea as far as making an educated guess
- 6:38Speaker 1: or an assumption about what they're up to. I really
- 6:40Speaker 1: don't know, folks. Like I've said, I never really followed
- 6:44Speaker 1: court cases like this before. This is all new to me.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I'm certainly not a court reporter or somebody who's interested
- 6:52Speaker 1: in the nuance of what goes on in the courtroom
- 6:55Speaker 1: for the most part. But when it comes to this case, obviously,
- 7:01Speaker 1: we're locked in. So I would think that, and again,
- 7:06Speaker 1: just my gut, that we're going to see a verdict
- 7:08Speaker 1: either today or tomorrow. So getting down to it, folks.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Verdict watch is certainly on. And Ghislaine Maxwell is looking
- 7:18Speaker 1: like she's going to find out her fate very, very soon.
- 7:22Speaker 1: With that said, let's jump into an article. From CNN,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and let's get us prepared for the day. Headline, Jurors
- 7:32Speaker 1: in Ghislaine Maxwell's Sex Trafficking Trial Return to Resume Deliberations.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Authored by Lauren Davalli and Eric Levinson over at CNN.
- 7:43Speaker 1: And surprisingly enough, CNN has done a pretty good job
- 7:47Speaker 1: on the day-to-day coverage of this as far as, you know,
- 7:50Speaker 1: updates on the deliberation process and where things are at
- 7:54Speaker 1: throughout the day. CNN has actually done a pretty damn
- 7:57Speaker 1: good job. And I'm surprised by that because they're usually
- 8:01Speaker 1: wrapped up in, you know, the finer points of political tribalism.
- 8:05Speaker 1: So they don't have the time to report on stories
- 8:08Speaker 1: such as this in the proper manner. But this time around,
- 8:12Speaker 1: looks like they're actually giving it a little bit of
- 8:14Speaker 1: attention and pretty shocking, honestly, coming from CNN. All right,
- 8:20Speaker 1: so let's see. After taking a long weekend for the
- 8:24Speaker 1: Christmas holiday, jurors in Ghislaine Maxwell's federal sex trafficking trial
- 8:29Speaker 1: are set to resume deliberations Monday morning in New York. Maxwell,
- 8:34Speaker 1: the former girlfriend, co-conspirator, general all-around scuzzbag fellow child abuser,
- 8:39Speaker 1: you mean, and longtime associate of the late sex offender,
- 8:43Speaker 1: pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, has pleaded not guilty to six federal counts.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Sex trafficking of a minor, enticing a minor to travel
- 8:52Speaker 1: to engage in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor with
- 8:55Speaker 1: the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and three
- 8:59Speaker 1: related counts of conspiracy. If convicted on all six counts,
- 9:04Speaker 1: Maxwell faces up to 70 years in prison. It's about
- 9:08Speaker 1: 170 years too short... Even if she gets convicted in
- 9:10Speaker 1: my opinion... Look... These are the kind of charges... These
- 9:14Speaker 1: are the kind of crimes... Crimes against children... Crimes against
- 9:17Speaker 1: the most vulnerable... That I think should have the heaviest
- 9:20Speaker 1: of penalties... There should be no wiggling off the hook...
- 9:24Speaker 1: When you're abusing the most vulnerable amongst us... If you're
- 9:27Speaker 1: abusing children... No kind of deal... No kind of plea... Nothing...
- 9:34Speaker 1: Directly underneath the prison... after your trial, after your conviction,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and you never see the light of day again, because
- 9:42Speaker 1: you can't be rehabilitated. There's no fixing you. If you're
- 9:45Speaker 1: somebody like Jeffrey Epstein, if you're somebody like Glenn Maxwell,
- 9:49Speaker 1: you were born fucked up, okay? You're a lemon. You
- 9:53Speaker 1: came off the line screwed up, and there is no
- 9:57Speaker 1: fixing that. So I don't even know why we were
- 10:00Speaker 1: bother wasting resources with people like this, convict them and
- 10:03Speaker 1: put them underneath the prison and forget about them. Jurors
- 10:10Speaker 1: deliberated for about an hour on Monday and then all
- 10:13Speaker 1: of Tuesday and Wednesday. At the end of Wednesday's deliberations,
- 10:17Speaker 1: the judge asked if they would consider returning Thursday, but
- 10:20Speaker 1: they declined. You know, the jurors were like, look, I
- 10:22Speaker 1: got a prime rib to cook. I got all kinds
- 10:25Speaker 1: of fixings to make. I got family coming over. I
- 10:28Speaker 1: can't be sitting around here in this courtroom dicking around
- 10:30Speaker 1: with you during my Christmas holiday. It's basically what the
- 10:33Speaker 1: jurors told the judge. And you know what? The more
- 10:37Speaker 1: I think about it, the more I don't blame them.
- 10:40Speaker 1: If they wanted them to work through the holiday, they
- 10:43Speaker 1: should have stipulated that. Hey, look, you're going to have
- 10:44Speaker 1: to work through the holiday. Maybe that wasn't stipulated. These
- 10:47Speaker 1: people made plans or whatever with their families. And, you know,
- 10:51Speaker 1: it ended up being what it was really comes down
- 10:54Speaker 1: to once again, the shitty timing of this trial in
- 10:58Speaker 1: the first place. Why set it up right around the holidays?
- 11:01Speaker 1: What's the point in doing that? Why not set it
- 11:03Speaker 1: up for January 2nd at this point? Nah, you guys
- 11:06Speaker 1: have to set it up for November 29th, right after Thanksgiving,
- 11:10Speaker 1: and right before Christmas? Yeah, great idea. During deliberations, the
- 11:17Speaker 1: jury asked the court a series of questions related to
- 11:20Speaker 1: testimony from the women whose claims formed the core of
- 11:26Speaker 1: the case against Maxwell. First, jurors asked the judge for
- 11:30Speaker 1: the transcripts of testimony from Annie Farmer, Carolyn, and Jane.
- 11:35Speaker 1: three of the four women who testified that they were
- 11:37Speaker 1: sexually abused by Epstein and that Maxwell facilitated and sometimes
- 11:42Speaker 1: participated in the abuse. So the jurors are trying to,
- 11:45Speaker 1: you know, get all the stories straight, right? They want
- 11:48Speaker 1: to make sure that they have all of the pertinent
- 11:50Speaker 1: information so that they come up with the right decision,
- 11:54Speaker 1: at least the best decision that they're capable of coming
- 11:57Speaker 1: up with. So I know that there was a lot
- 11:59Speaker 1: of reading of the tea leaves when it came to
- 12:01Speaker 1: these juror notes and all of that stuff. But again,
- 12:05Speaker 1: I'm not hip enough when it comes to these kinds
- 12:11Speaker 1: of backroom deals to really dive in and speculate and
- 12:15Speaker 1: act like I have an idea what I'm talking about.
- 12:17Speaker 1: That's why I read the article from Adam Klasfeld, somebody
- 12:20Speaker 1: who actually does know what he's talking about when it
- 12:23Speaker 1: comes to this sort of thing. So you know that
- 12:27Speaker 1: there's a motivation and reasoning behind the jury asking for
- 12:33Speaker 1: this stuff. It's just trying to figure out exactly what
- 12:36Speaker 1: they're up to. That's the hard part, right? And you
- 12:40Speaker 1: would think that the jury, especially considering them not taking
- 12:47Speaker 1: the judge up on the chance to deliberate on Thursday...
- 12:52Speaker 1: you would think that they're going to take their time
- 12:54Speaker 1: with this and go through it with a fine-tooth comb.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And to be honest with you, I think that's a
- 12:59Speaker 1: good-ass idea. Anytime there's a jury and they're looking at
- 13:03Speaker 1: evidence in a case, they should be deliberate. They should
- 13:06Speaker 1: take their time. Jurors also asked for FBI notes from
- 13:14Speaker 1: a 2007 interview with Carolyn that the defense has said
- 13:20Speaker 1: is inconsistent with her testimony in court. The FBI notes
- 13:23Speaker 1: are not in evidence, but some excerpts were read into
- 13:27Speaker 1: the record during her cross-examination. So again, back to that, right?
- 13:32Speaker 1: Little recap. The FBI notes, the 302 proffers, they're not evidence.
- 13:39Speaker 1: So they weren't, um... put in as evidence, right? So
- 13:43Speaker 1: they couldn't obviously be drawn upon by the jurors to
- 13:47Speaker 1: look at. But some of the excerpts that were read
- 13:52Speaker 1: into the record, well, that is evidence now. So they
- 13:54Speaker 1: can go back and look at that if they want. Further,
- 13:59Speaker 1: the jury asked whether it can consider Farmer's testimony for
- 14:02Speaker 1: two of the conspiracy counts. Jurors may do so, Judge
- 14:05Speaker 1: Allison Nathan said. So that was a big deal in
- 14:07Speaker 1: my opinion as well, because what it shows is that
- 14:11Speaker 1: the jurors can look at the transportation issue here. Transporting
- 14:15Speaker 1: Annie for sexual purposes, for the purposes of being trafficked.
- 14:21Speaker 1: And that gives the prosecutors another route for conviction here.
- 14:26Speaker 1: The deliberations cap a three-week trial highlighted by testimony from
- 14:30Speaker 1: four women who said Maxwell recruited and groomed them to
- 14:33Speaker 1: be sexually abused by Epstein. The abuse allegedly began when
- 14:38Speaker 1: they were younger than 18, and their accusations stretched from
- 14:41Speaker 1: 1994 to 2004. And we all know that it's a
- 14:45Speaker 1: lot longer than that. We all know, and I'm going
- 14:48Speaker 1: to keep driving that point home in case there's new
- 14:50Speaker 1: listeners or people who might have forgot, okay? A lot
- 14:54Speaker 1: longer than the 10-year period, folks. Jeffrey Epstein, according to reports,
- 14:58Speaker 1: was active all the way up until his second arrest.
- 15:02Speaker 1: So put that in your pipe and smoke it for
- 15:04Speaker 1: a little while. And the most terrifying thing of all
- 15:09Speaker 1: of this is Jeffrey Epstein was just the tip of
- 15:12Speaker 1: the iceberg. How many more Jeffrey Epsteins and Ghislaine Maxwells
- 15:16Speaker 1: are still out there? Epstein, an elusive financier who pleaded
- 15:27Speaker 1: guilty in 2008 to state prostitution charges, was indicted on
- 15:32Speaker 1: federal sex trafficking charges in July 2019. He died by suicide, allegedly,
- 15:38Speaker 1: in prison, jail, a month later. Maxwell, now 60, was
- 15:42Speaker 1: arrested in 2020 and has been held behind bars since
- 15:47Speaker 1: under close watch. So remember, Jeffrey Epstein wasn't in prison
- 15:51Speaker 1: when he died, okay? He was in jail, in lockup,
- 15:55Speaker 1: and obviously it's a different minor issue, but it wasn't prison,
- 15:59Speaker 1: it was jail. And they say that he committed suicide
- 16:04Speaker 1: in there. I say allegedly because at the end of
- 16:07Speaker 1: the day, we don't know. We have no information about
- 16:10Speaker 1: what happened in that jail cell. They have not been
- 16:13Speaker 1: very transparent at all. And the people that act like
- 16:16Speaker 1: they know for sure one way or the other what
- 16:19Speaker 1: went on in that jail cell, I would be very,
- 16:21Speaker 1: very cautious of the things they have to say to you.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Because guess what? None of us know. What happened at
- 16:29Speaker 1: the trial? The prosecutor's case against Maxwell rested primarily on
- 16:33Speaker 1: four women with personal stories of her role facilitating Epstein's abuse. Jane,
- 16:39Speaker 1: testifying under a pseudonym, said Maxwell organized sexual massages with
- 16:43Speaker 1: Epstein and sometimes joined in the abuse. The charges of
- 16:47Speaker 1: enticing and transporting relate to testimony solely from her. So
- 16:53Speaker 1: each one of these girls had a story to tell, right?
- 16:55Speaker 1: Each one of these ladies, now I should say, had
- 16:58Speaker 1: their own story to tell about the abuse that they
- 17:00Speaker 1: suffered at the hands of Maxwell and at Epstein. And
- 17:06Speaker 1: it was very powerful, the testimony that they brought forward. Obviously,
- 17:11Speaker 1: it comes down to credibility. Do you believe their story
- 17:14Speaker 1: or don't you? Do you believe that Maxwell's team did
- 17:17Speaker 1: a good enough job to punch holes in their credibility?
- 17:20Speaker 1: That's really what it comes down to, right? For me,
- 17:22Speaker 1: I don't see the defense as doing a good enough
- 17:27Speaker 1: job with that. A good enough job to make me say, ah, yeah, wow,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I've had this all wrong. This is nothing but a
- 17:33Speaker 1: money grab. I have not seen anything at all that
- 17:38Speaker 1: points me in that direction. All I see is a
- 17:40Speaker 1: bunch of guilty ass so-called elite who are still being
- 17:44Speaker 1: protected by the system, by their friends. Carolyn testified that
- 17:55Speaker 1: when she was 14, Maxwell touched her breasts, hips, and
- 17:58Speaker 1: butt and told her she had a great body for
- 18:01Speaker 1: Epstein and his friends. The child sex trafficking count, the
- 18:05Speaker 1: most serious of all the charges, relates to her testimony.
- 18:08Speaker 1: And think about that for a minute. That is a
- 18:12Speaker 1: very strong and very powerful charge. But it's only the one.
- 18:18Speaker 1: When we know that there were so many more. And
- 18:22Speaker 1: it just sticks in my craw, folks. It makes me
- 18:25Speaker 1: want to vomit, honestly. Definitely not digestible. That's for damn sure.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I can't digest the fact that these people got away
- 18:32Speaker 1: with this for this long. And how many times do
- 18:34Speaker 1: we have to hear about Epstein and his friends? But
- 18:37Speaker 1: none of his friends are ever brought up on charges.
- 18:39Speaker 1: None of his friends are ever caught up in this.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Now flip the script. What
- 18:46Speaker 1: if it was you or your friends and you were
- 18:49Speaker 1: engaged in some kind of criminal conspiracy? You think that
- 18:52Speaker 1: you would have been able to get away for it
- 18:53Speaker 1: for decades? I highly doubt it. Kay testified Maxwell invited
- 19:02Speaker 1: her over and directed her how to give Epstein a
- 19:04Speaker 1: sexual massage. She said Maxwell spoke often of sexual topics
- 19:08Speaker 1: with her and asked Kay to invite other young girls
- 19:11Speaker 1: for Epstein's sexual desires. So it shows you right there
- 19:16Speaker 1: what Maxwell was up to, grooming, trying to get these
- 19:18Speaker 1: girls to get other girls involved. And then what Maxwell
- 19:21Speaker 1: would say is, well, I didn't recruit these girls. The
- 19:23Speaker 1: other girl did. I had nothing to do with it.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And it's so transparent to me. The fact that they
- 19:29Speaker 1: were engaging in this is so transparent. And then to
- 19:32Speaker 1: have the audacity, the balls to try and call Virginia
- 19:36Speaker 1: a trafficker. I take great umbrage to that. Great umbrage
- 19:40Speaker 1: to that. Virginia was a little girl who was groomed.
- 19:44Speaker 1: A little girl who was brought into the clutches of
- 19:47Speaker 1: these scumbags. And then Maxwell and Epstein. not only abuse her,
- 19:52Speaker 1: but then have the audacity to try and pin the
- 19:54Speaker 1: whole thing on people like her. Oh, she was the
- 19:56Speaker 1: one who was bringing other girls. You fucking break, man. Farmer,
- 20:03Speaker 1: the only accuser to testify by her full name, testified
- 20:06Speaker 1: that she was 16 when Maxwell massaged her naked chest
- 20:09Speaker 1: at Epstein's New Mexico ranch in 1996. Prosecutors sought to
- 20:15Speaker 1: closely link Maxwell and Epstein and said her actions normalizing
- 20:18Speaker 1: sexual massages were crucial to his international abuse scheme at
- 20:22Speaker 1: his properties in New York, Florida, New Mexico, and the U.S.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Virgin Islands. A single, middle-aged man who invites a teenage
- 20:29Speaker 1: girl to visit this ranch is to come to his
- 20:32Speaker 1: house to fly to New York is creepy, Prosecutor Allison
- 20:36Speaker 1: Moe said in closing arguments. But when that man is
- 20:39Speaker 1: accompanied by a posh, smiling, respectable, age-appropriate woman, then that's
- 20:45Speaker 1: when everything seems to be legitimate. And I agree. I mean,
- 20:50Speaker 1: it definitely helps normalize things to have someone like Ghislaine
- 20:53Speaker 1: Maxwell show up as opposed to just egg dick himself.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Imagine you're some little girl and you show up and
- 20:59Speaker 1: Egg Dick Epstein's there in his stupid ass mom jeans
- 21:02Speaker 1: wearing a pair of New Balance or whatever the hell
- 21:05Speaker 1: he's wearing on his feet that day. Goofy pair of slippers.
- 21:09Speaker 1: No wonder you need Maxwell there to help soften the blow.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Literally showing up and fucking Nosferatu's waiting for you. So
- 21:18Speaker 1: miss me when all of the Galane had no idea
- 21:21Speaker 1: what was going on shit. I'm so tired of it.
- 21:28Speaker 1: And when that woman encourages those girls to massage that man,
- 21:32Speaker 1: and then she acts like it's totally normal for the
- 21:34Speaker 1: man to touch those girls, it lures them into a trap.
- 21:37Speaker 1: It allows the man to silence the alarm bells. The defense, meanwhile,
- 21:43Speaker 1: focused its case on lengthy cross-examinations of the four accusers
- 21:47Speaker 1: and detect their motivations and memories of the alleged incidents.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Maxwell declined to testify in her own defense. Yeah, no shit.
- 21:54Speaker 1: Talk about getting goosed. She would show up on that
- 21:57Speaker 1: stand and it would be a wrap. For those of
- 22:00Speaker 1: you who are familiar with the author Joe Abercrombie and
- 22:04Speaker 1: his works... I would have Sandan Glockta, Old Sticks himself,
- 22:10Speaker 1: do this interrogation. Because let me tell you what, Ghislaine
- 22:13Speaker 1: Maxwell is not built for this life. I've said it
- 22:16Speaker 1: from Jump Street. You put her in a room with
- 22:18Speaker 1: a real investigator, a real interrogator... And she's looking at 150,
- 22:22Speaker 1: 200 years... and the federal government really has motivation to
- 22:28Speaker 1: go after people, Maxwell would be singing like a little bird.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Canary City, baby. But the government doesn't have the backbone
- 22:36Speaker 1: for it. The government doesn't want to go after all
- 22:38Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein's friends. They'd rather let them run around
- 22:41Speaker 1: and continue on their path of deviant behavior. In closing arguments...
- 22:50Speaker 1: Attorney Laura Menninger sought to distance Maxwell from Epstein and
- 22:54Speaker 1: suggested he had manipulated her as well. She said the
- 22:57Speaker 1: prosecution's case is based on speculation and distracting photos of
- 23:01Speaker 1: Maxwell with Epstein, including several that show her giving him
- 23:05Speaker 1: a foot massage. She's being tried here for being with
- 23:08Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, and maybe that was the biggest mistake of
- 23:11Speaker 1: her life. But it was not a crime, Menninger told
- 23:14Speaker 1: the jury. No, not at all. No crimes were committed here.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, upstanding citizen, folks, you guys got it all wrong.
- 23:22Speaker 1: We've been missing the boat the whole time. Maxwell is
- 23:25Speaker 1: just obviously another victim of Jeffrey Epstein's. She's not educated.
- 23:29Speaker 1: She's not smart. She's not somebody that knows what's what.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I mean, really, is that really what you want us
- 23:36Speaker 1: to believe, Laura Menninger? Because nobody's buying that shit. Stop
- 23:41Speaker 1: regifting us the same kind of nonsense we hear in
- 23:44Speaker 1: every other case. It's bullshit. It's garbage. And honestly, it
- 23:49Speaker 1: falls on deaf ears with most people. Now, that doesn't
- 23:54Speaker 1: really mean anything at the end of the day, though,
- 23:56Speaker 1: does it? What we think, what anybody else thinks. All
- 23:59Speaker 1: that matters is what that jury thinks and what decision
- 24:03Speaker 1: they come up with in the next few days. So,
- 24:08Speaker 1: we'll be here, continuing to wait for the verdict, following
- 24:12Speaker 1: what occurs. on a daily basis as far as inside
- 24:16Speaker 1: of this courtroom. And when that verdict is announced, I
- 24:20Speaker 1: will be here to talk about it with all of you.
- 24:24Speaker 1: So with that said, folks, we're going to wrap up
- 24:26Speaker 1: this morning's edition and get prepared for the day. So
- 24:30Speaker 1: I hope that all of you have a great day
- 24:32Speaker 1: out there. And yeah, I'll be back later on for sure.
- 24:36Speaker 1: And we will pick this up where we left off.
- 24:38Speaker 1: So throughout the day, obviously, more context episodes coming your
- 24:42Speaker 1: way and all of that other good stuff that you've
- 24:47Speaker 1: come to expect. All right, everybody, I will talk to
- 24:50Speaker 1: you all later. If you'd like to contact me, you
- 24:53Speaker 1: can do that at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com.
- 25:02Speaker 1: You can also find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I.
- 25:10Speaker 1: The link that we discussed can be found in the
- 25:12Speaker 1: description box. Maxwell continues to rack up the L's. Not
- 25:19Speaker 1: only was she unsuccessful in trying to get the sealed
- 25:23Speaker 1: documents to remain that way, not only was she unsuccessful
- 25:28Speaker 1: in trying to get bail, well now... The court is
- 25:32Speaker 1: telling her and her law team that they better not
- 25:36Speaker 1: ID survivors in this case. So you could just tag
- 25:41Speaker 1: that on as another L for Ghislaine Maxwell and the
- 25:47Speaker 1: shitbirds that run with her. And it's glorious to see,
- 25:51Speaker 1: isn't it? For so long, the shoe was on the
- 25:53Speaker 1: other foot. For so long, the rulings were going the
- 25:57Speaker 1: other way. But now, as things start to progress... And
- 26:03Speaker 1: as the real story begins to come to light and
- 26:06Speaker 1: more people are made aware of what's going on, I
- 26:09Speaker 1: am telling you, folks, these floodgates most assuredly are going
- 26:15Speaker 1: to open. Now, Ghislaine Maxwell, we all knew what she was, right?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Everybody following this case, all of us sleuthing around, we
- 26:25Speaker 1: all knew exactly what she was. And that's why I
- 26:28Speaker 1: never shied away from calling her that here on this podcast.
- 26:31Speaker 1: or correcting articles when they called her a socialite, or
- 26:35Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's girlfriend. Because we all knew just exactly what
- 26:40Speaker 1: kind of monster we were dealing with, even if the
- 26:44Speaker 1: legacy media refused to do their job, refused to make
- 26:50Speaker 1: the general population aware of what occurred. Well now, that
- 26:55Speaker 1: shit's all out of the bag, boys and girls. I
- 26:58Speaker 1: can't tell you how many messages I woke up to
- 27:00Speaker 1: from friends of mine, who have just a basic knowledge
- 27:04Speaker 1: of what's going on in this case, woke up to
- 27:06Speaker 1: emails and inquiries and questions about the inner workings of
- 27:10Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's inner circle now. People are getting interested. And
- 27:15Speaker 1: that's because of all of you out there, all of
- 27:18Speaker 1: the posts, the non-stop putting it in people's faces and
- 27:23Speaker 1: making them be aware of what occurred. So I think
- 27:27Speaker 1: that we're making some serious headway when it comes to
- 27:31Speaker 1: making this a mainstream issue. And at the end of
- 27:34Speaker 1: the day, folks, when I first started this podcast all
- 27:37Speaker 1: the way back in last August and really got busy
- 27:40Speaker 1: in October, that's all I wanted to do was make
- 27:45Speaker 1: people aware of what occurred. and then let them make
- 27:48Speaker 1: their own decisions, come to their own conclusions, when they
- 27:51Speaker 1: have all of the evidence presented to them. Not just
- 27:54Speaker 1: bits and pieces, not a piece from this smear merchant
- 27:58Speaker 1: to try and smear that person, or that person smearing
- 28:01Speaker 1: this person. I try to keep this podcast grounded in
- 28:04Speaker 1: as much reality as possible. And like I always say
- 28:08Speaker 1: with this case, I don't think we need to add
- 28:11Speaker 1: on salacious nonsense, right? There's plenty of it right here,
- 28:15Speaker 1: The facts that hit you right in the face, there
- 28:17Speaker 1: is plenty of that right here. And I think it's
- 28:21Speaker 1: important that we try and stay focused on the actual
- 28:24Speaker 1: perpetrators that were involved in the leadership roles and in
- 28:30Speaker 1: the abuse of these girls. I think that's where we
- 28:32Speaker 1: start and we let the investigation bloom from there, right?
- 28:36Speaker 1: Because these enablers, no matter how much you try and
- 28:39Speaker 1: stick it to them, no matter how much you try
- 28:42Speaker 1: and say that they were abusing girls, if nobody comes
- 28:45Speaker 1: forward and says that Bill Clinton was abusing girls on
- 28:47Speaker 1: that island, well, we have him there. We have him
- 28:53Speaker 1: involved as in being around when these orgies were occurring.
- 28:57Speaker 1: But you can't stick him as somebody who took part
- 29:01Speaker 1: in the abusing of the girls from the evidence we
- 29:03Speaker 1: have so far, right? Of course not. But... We can
- 29:08Speaker 1: get them when it comes to the financials. And I
- 29:11Speaker 1: think that that is an overlooked part of this case.
- 29:14Speaker 1: I think that these enablers, that's what they're truly worried about.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Besides the people that have been named by Virginia or
- 29:20Speaker 1: the other survivors as partaking in the abuse, I think
- 29:24Speaker 1: these enablers all understand that these financial ties, well, they're
- 29:28Speaker 1: ties that bind. And when you're caught up in financials
- 29:32Speaker 1: the way these people are, there is no wiggling their
- 29:35Speaker 1: way off the hook. So that's what I try and
- 29:38Speaker 1: focus on here. I try and keep the focus. on
- 29:40Speaker 1: the people who were named as abusers of Virginia, people
- 29:44Speaker 1: who have played an intricate and important role in building
- 29:49Speaker 1: the enterprise and going after those people with laser-like focus. Now,
- 29:56Speaker 1: once this blooms a little bit more, Well, people are
- 30:00Speaker 1: going to start to understand that this was not just
- 30:03Speaker 1: some sort of child sex trafficking ring, right? The unsullied
- 30:07Speaker 1: will start to understand that this was also a blackmail
- 30:12Speaker 1: ring run by some of the most powerful people in
- 30:15Speaker 1: the intelligence world. And as you all know, I am
- 30:18Speaker 1: not one of these. I think it's the Mossad. I
- 30:21Speaker 1: don't believe that. Now, I believe the Mossad, they were
- 30:24Speaker 1: running the operation as far as the assets on the ground.
- 30:28Speaker 1: But I... If anyone thinks that the CIA didn't have
- 30:31Speaker 1: their fingerprints all over it, didn't give them the nod
- 30:34Speaker 1: of approval and offer some sort of logistical support for
- 30:37Speaker 1: this honey trap, well, I think that's a naive point
- 30:41Speaker 1: of view because as powerful as the Mossad is in
- 30:44Speaker 1: their sphere, there is nobody as powerful or as devious
- 30:50Speaker 1: as the CIA of the United States of America. And
- 30:54Speaker 1: as this all comes to light, it's going to be
- 30:56Speaker 1: a hard pill for a lot of people to swallow.
- 30:59Speaker 1: But if we lay the case out correctly and we
- 31:02Speaker 1: build the bridges, well, if we build it, they will come.
- 31:09Speaker 1: And I think it's a process where you have to
- 31:13Speaker 1: lay out all of the facts for people and then
- 31:16Speaker 1: let them come to that conclusion on their own. I
- 31:19Speaker 1: think that the facts are pretty clear, what we're dealing
- 31:22Speaker 1: with here. And I think that anybody who comes into
- 31:25Speaker 1: this case with an open mind and takes a look
- 31:28Speaker 1: at all of the factors surrounding it, well, they have
- 31:31Speaker 1: no choice but to come to the conclusion that this
- 31:35Speaker 1: was a huge, large, gigantic operation that spanned continents and
- 31:42Speaker 1: it involved some of the most powerful people in the
- 31:45Speaker 1: whole entire world. I don't think that there's any denying
- 31:51Speaker 1: that at this point. So we're going to continue to
- 31:54Speaker 1: build those tracks. We're going to continue to lay those
- 31:57Speaker 1: rail lines. And eventually we're going to get connected from
- 32:01Speaker 1: point A to point B and everything is going to
- 32:05Speaker 1: fall directly into focus. All right. So we were talking
- 32:11Speaker 1: a little bit about Ghislaine Maxwell racking up the L's.
- 32:14Speaker 1: So that's what our article is about today. Our article
- 32:17Speaker 1: is from the USA Today. It was originally run by
- 32:19Speaker 1: the Associated Press. The headline, Elaine Maxwell's lawyers warned not
- 32:24Speaker 1: to ID child sex abuse survivors, as if they should
- 32:28Speaker 1: even be needed to be warned about that. It shows
- 32:31Speaker 1: you the sort of tactics that they plan on using,
- 32:34Speaker 1: and it's not unexpected, right? You know they're going to
- 32:36Speaker 1: go to the mattresses. you know that they're going to
- 32:39Speaker 1: fight dirty. They're going to do anything in their power
- 32:42Speaker 1: to try and throw shade and to try and make
- 32:44Speaker 1: it look like these girls are lying. That's their job.
- 32:48Speaker 1: And it's up to the prosecutors and the judge to
- 32:51Speaker 1: make sure that that's all done within the parameters of
- 32:54Speaker 1: the law. And that is what we're seeing right here
- 32:56Speaker 1: and right now with this ruling. The judge presiding over
- 33:01Speaker 1: the criminal case against a British socialite, still a British socialite.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Didn't I just get done talking about how she is
- 33:07Speaker 1: not a British socialite? They still are calling her that.
- 33:10Speaker 1: They're still scared to call her what she is. A
- 33:12Speaker 1: child molester. A child abuser. A sick ass. A disgusting scumbag.
- 33:19Speaker 1: A bipedal serpent. Somebody that deserves jail for the rest
- 33:22Speaker 1: of her life. Bologna sandwiches and hard bread that break
- 33:26Speaker 1: her gross ass veneers. How about that for a label?
- 33:32Speaker 1: charged with recruiting teenage girls for financier. Oh, and that's
- 33:36Speaker 1: what Epstein is, a financier. AP, you sure are hitting
- 33:39Speaker 1: it out of the park here. How about child molester, pedophile,
- 33:45Speaker 1: money launderer, abuser, and all around draconian sick bastard. I
- 33:51Speaker 1: think that's a better label for him. said Friday that
- 33:53Speaker 1: her attorneys are not permitted to publicly identify accusers, even
- 33:58Speaker 1: if they've spoken in a public forum. This is a
- 34:01Speaker 1: huge slapdown for Ghislaine Maxwell, folks. It is huge. And
- 34:05Speaker 1: guess what? They had control of the narrative for decades. Decades.
- 34:10Speaker 1: And they poisoned people's minds about these survivors. They were
- 34:13Speaker 1: able to get away with it. Douchewitz going on every
- 34:16Speaker 1: single news station that would have him and running his nonsense,
- 34:20Speaker 1: slandering these girls. Well, the worm has turned, the narrative
- 34:24Speaker 1: has been snatched, and now, well, now, the predators have
- 34:30Speaker 1: become the prey. Not all accusations or public statements are equal. U.S.
- 34:36Speaker 1: District Judge Allison J. Nathan wrote in her ruling in
- 34:39Speaker 1: the case facing Ghislaine Maxwell, Deciding to participate in or
- 34:44Speaker 1: contribute to a criminal investigation or prosecution is a far
- 34:48Speaker 1: different matter than simply making a public statement relating to Ms.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Maxwell or Jeffrey Epstein, particularly since such a statement might
- 34:57Speaker 1: have occurred decades ago and have no relevance to the
- 35:01Speaker 1: charges in this case. What they wanted was basically a
- 35:06Speaker 1: gag order dropped over all of the survivors, right? They
- 35:09Speaker 1: wanted to make it out so the survivors, once again,
- 35:12Speaker 1: had to keep quiet. Just like they've had to keep
- 35:14Speaker 1: quiet for all of these years. Well, that shit is over.
- 35:18Speaker 1: The cat is out of the bag. And you are
- 35:20Speaker 1: not hushing anybody anymore, okay? She said the woman still
- 35:27Speaker 1: maintained a significant privacy interest that must be safeguarded. Yeah,
- 35:31Speaker 1: you think? We're still dealing with some sick and powerful
- 35:34Speaker 1: sons of bitches, folks, who are still free. The co-conspirators,
- 35:38Speaker 1: the enablers, other people that have stuff to hide. You
- 35:41Speaker 1: really think that these girls aren't at risk here? You
- 35:45Speaker 1: think that they have nothing on the line by coming
- 35:48Speaker 1: out and speaking so bravely about these bipedal serpents? Hell yeah,
- 35:52Speaker 1: they have things to worry about. These people are sick, folks.
- 35:55Speaker 1: These people are dangerous. Prosecutors had asked Nathan to block
- 36:00Speaker 1: Maxwell's lawyer from publicly identifying the women unless they identified
- 36:05Speaker 1: themselves as participants in the criminal case. Otherwise, prosecutors said
- 36:11Speaker 1: the women may be harassed or intimidated and become reluctant
- 36:15Speaker 1: to cooperate with the government. That's not out of the
- 36:19Speaker 1: realm of possibility. Just listen to what the survivors have
- 36:22Speaker 1: said previously. Listen to what people like Maria Farmer have said.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Listen to what Virginia said or Sarah Ransom. or any
- 36:28Speaker 1: number of the other survivors. These aren't people that were
- 36:32Speaker 1: not dangerous. These weren't people that were afraid to shy
- 36:36Speaker 1: away from threats. That was part of their arsenal. That
- 36:39Speaker 1: was part of the process. Nathan's order came hours after
- 36:46Speaker 1: newly unsealed court documents provided a fresh glimpse into a
- 36:50Speaker 1: fierce civil court fight between Maxwell, who was Epstein's former girlfriend, co-conspirator,
- 36:56Speaker 1: child molester, all-around scumbag, and one of the women who
- 37:02Speaker 1: accused the couple of sexual abuse. The documents released late
- 37:06Speaker 1: Thursday were from a now-settled defamation lawsuit filed by one
- 37:11Speaker 1: of Epstein's survivors, Virginia Roberts. Roberts claimed in the suit
- 37:16Speaker 1: and other litigation that Maxwell recruited her in 2000 to
- 37:19Speaker 1: be a sexual servant to Epstein. She said the couple
- 37:22Speaker 1: subsequently pressured her into having sex with numerous rich or
- 37:26Speaker 1: notable men, including Britain's Prince Andrew, aka the Joe Exotic
- 37:31Speaker 1: of the Windsor family, U.S. politicians, wealthy entrepreneurs, a famous scientist,
- 37:37Speaker 1: and a fashion designer. Boy, sounds like just the kind
- 37:41Speaker 1: of people that scumbag, sick bastard Jeffrey Epstein would be
- 37:45Speaker 1: palling around with, doesn't it? And notice how USA Today
- 37:50Speaker 1: and the AP shies away from still mentioning the names.
- 37:53Speaker 1: You want to talk? Let's talk about some of the names, okay? U.S. politicians.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Let's talk about it, okay? George Mitchell, Bill Richardson, Bill Clinton.
- 38:02Speaker 1: All right, let's see what's next they got here. Wealthy entrepreneurs.
- 38:05Speaker 1: All right, we can give you some of that too
- 38:06Speaker 1: since the USA Today won't. Les Wexner, Tom Pritzker, Glenn Dubin,
- 38:14Speaker 1: Jess Staley, Leon Black, a famous scientist. Well, Marvin Minsky
- 38:20Speaker 1: might fit that bill, huh, folks? And a fashion designer. Well,
- 38:24Speaker 1: there's several of those. We'll just run with Les Wexner
- 38:26Speaker 1: again just to be safe, huh? Look, folks, the point
- 38:29Speaker 1: of the matter is this. The legacy media is still
- 38:32Speaker 1: scared to do its job. There's a reason that all
- 38:36Speaker 1: of you are listening to me, just your run-of-the-mill moron,
- 38:39Speaker 1: reporting on this case. That's because we can't trust the
- 38:43Speaker 1: legacy media to shoot us straight. We can't trust them
- 38:46Speaker 1: to not be in bed with these bipedal serpents. And
- 38:49Speaker 1: that's just the unfortunate fact. Among the newly... Excuse me,
- 39:00Speaker 1: Maxwell and all of the accused men have denied those
- 39:03Speaker 1: allegations for years. Yeah, of course they have. Have they
- 39:06Speaker 1: denied it under oath, though? That's the real question. Anybody
- 39:10Speaker 1: can release their canned denials. Oh, have your crisis team
- 39:13Speaker 1: write it up. In reality, we all know the score.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Among the newly released documents were emails Maxwell and Epstein
- 39:23Speaker 1: exchanged in January 2015 when Roberts' allegations were getting a
- 39:28Speaker 1: new round of media attention. Now remember, according to Maxwell,
- 39:32Speaker 1: in the hearing, she had no contact with Epstein for
- 39:36Speaker 1: at least a decade. Well, we know that's bullshit. We
- 39:39Speaker 1: know that's a lie. And we know that her law
- 39:43Speaker 1: team BS'd us about that, right? And we also know,
- 39:48Speaker 1: which is very interesting, in 2015 that Prince Andrew, aka
- 39:53Speaker 1: the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family, also sent Ghislaine
- 39:56Speaker 1: Maxwell an email asking about Virginia. So, seems kind of
- 40:01Speaker 1: odd that the Joe Exotic of the Windsor family would
- 40:03Speaker 1: have so many questions with his good friend Ghislaine Maxwell
- 40:07Speaker 1: about a girl that he supposedly doesn't even remember, huh?
- 40:11Speaker 1: See what I mean, folks? They think you're stupid. They
- 40:14Speaker 1: truly believe that you are too dumb to put these
- 40:17Speaker 1: pieces together. Well, I have news for all of them.
- 40:20Speaker 1: They are wrong. One email sent from Epstein's email address
- 40:26Speaker 1: but written in Maxwell's voice appeared to be a draft
- 40:29Speaker 1: statement or set of talking points for Maxwell to use
- 40:32Speaker 1: in defending herself. It said she had been the target
- 40:35Speaker 1: of false allegations of impropriety and offensive behavior that I
- 40:39Speaker 1: abhor and have never been party to. And these emails
- 40:44Speaker 1: are available for you to check out. I've posted the
- 40:47Speaker 1: links on my Twitter page. It was obviously Epstein coaching her.
- 40:52Speaker 1: We called it out right away when we got those
- 40:54Speaker 1: emails last night and I posted them. It was an obvious,
- 40:57Speaker 1: obvious Epstein coaching her. But what's more, it proves the conspiracy, folks.
- 41:01Speaker 1: This proves the Rico case. Responding to a Maxwell email
- 41:07Speaker 1: a few days later, Epstein wrote, You have done nothing wrong,
- 41:10Speaker 1: and I would urge you to start acting like it.
- 41:12Speaker 1: He suggested she go outside and hold her head high,
- 41:15Speaker 1: not as an escaping convict. Yeah, great advice from old Jeffy, huh? Yeah,
- 41:20Speaker 1: go out and hold your head up high there, Ghislaine.
- 41:22Speaker 1: You did nothing wrong. You only abused a bunch of kids.
- 41:25Speaker 1: You dumb, stupid morons. You idiots. You jackanapes. Epstein killed himself, allegedly,
- 41:34Speaker 1: last summer while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Maxwell
- 41:38Speaker 1: was recently arrested on federal charges that she recruited at
- 41:41Speaker 1: least three girls, including one as young as 14, for
- 41:45Speaker 1: Epstein to sexually abuse in the 90s. Prosecutors said she
- 41:50Speaker 1: also joined in the abuse. Not just prosecutors. Survivors have
- 41:54Speaker 1: said that, okay? And guess what? From where we've come
- 41:59Speaker 1: to where we are, The circumstantial evidence enough is damning.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Now imagine that all of that circumstantial evidence that we
- 42:08Speaker 1: have had is being corroborated now by these documents. Funny that.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Maxwell is jailed awaiting trial in New York. Many of
- 42:21Speaker 1: the documents unsealed by the court Thursday had been available
- 42:24Speaker 1: publicly before. Remember, this is what I talked about. For
- 42:27Speaker 1: those of us who have been sleuthing around and covering this,
- 42:29Speaker 1: we knew that there wasn't going to be anything too
- 42:32Speaker 1: explosive in the first round of these dumps, right? It's
- 42:37Speaker 1: the deposition that everybody really wants to dig their teeth into.
- 42:40Speaker 1: But the fact remains that These are receipts, folks. This
- 42:44Speaker 1: is important. And this shows people who might just be
- 42:47Speaker 1: getting involved in this case that this is not a
- 42:50Speaker 1: conspiracy theory. This is not some bullshit 4chan nonsense BS, okay?
- 42:57Speaker 1: This has never been a conspiracy theory. This has always
- 43:01Speaker 1: been a cover-up. They included a deposition in which Roberts
- 43:06Speaker 1: described the alleged abuse and also answered questions about errors
- 43:10Speaker 1: she made previously in telling her story, including originally telling
- 43:13Speaker 1: a court she was 15 when she met Epstein when
- 43:17Speaker 1: records show she was at least a year older. Roberts,
- 43:20Speaker 1: over the years, has told her story to the FBI,
- 43:23Speaker 1: but no charges were brought based on her allegations, and
- 43:26Speaker 1: she is not one of the three alleged survivors in
- 43:29Speaker 1: the current criminal case against Maxwell, and I think that's significant.
- 43:34Speaker 1: because that does not mean that she won't be eventually.
- 43:37Speaker 1: That just means right now with these hold'em charges that
- 43:39Speaker 1: she is not. I think a lot of people get
- 43:41Speaker 1: confused with this sort of situation, and I get it.
- 43:44Speaker 1: It's confusing as hell, right? If I hadn't been following
- 43:47Speaker 1: federal cases for years because of my interest in organized crime,
- 43:52Speaker 1: I would be very confused as well. But this is
- 43:54Speaker 1: pretty typical in cases like this. As they begin to
- 43:58Speaker 1: gain steam, you see things change and you see other
- 44:01Speaker 1: charges added. Two documents that were not released as scheduled
- 44:07Speaker 1: Thursday were depositions Maxwell gave in the civil lawsuit in 2016. U.S.
- 44:13Speaker 1: District Judge Loretta Preska had ordered them released, but Maxwell's
- 44:16Speaker 1: lawyers appealed a ruling to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court
- 44:19Speaker 1: of Appeals. Her lawyers said they should be blocked because
- 44:23Speaker 1: she now faces criminal charges. Well, I don't think that
- 44:27Speaker 1: the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals... is going to acquiesce
- 44:30Speaker 1: to that request. Am I going to make a prediction
- 44:33Speaker 1: one way or the other? No, because at the end
- 44:35Speaker 1: of the day, it is still the federal government we're
- 44:37Speaker 1: dealing with, and we know that they're a bunch of
- 44:39Speaker 1: ninnies for the most part. So I'm not going to
- 44:42Speaker 1: make a prediction one way or the other, but what
- 44:44Speaker 1: I will say, as I stated last night, when a
- 44:47Speaker 1: court sets precedent in their very courtroom, it is rare
- 44:51Speaker 1: that they go against their own rulings. But this is
- 44:54Speaker 1: one of those cases that's odd, right? This is something
- 44:57Speaker 1: that we're not used to dealing with. These concurrent criminal
- 45:01Speaker 1: suit and the civil suit running at the same time,
- 45:03Speaker 1: it's definitely a bit odd, right? Something that's not common.
- 45:08Speaker 1: So it's up to the prosecutors to do the right thing.
- 45:12Speaker 1: It's up to the prosecutors to make sure that they
- 45:16Speaker 1: have all of their I's dotted and their T's crossed,
- 45:19Speaker 1: their ducks in a row, and that they are ready
- 45:21Speaker 1: to bite down on their mouthpiece and go to war
- 45:24Speaker 1: with these people. Because at the end of the day, folks,
- 45:29Speaker 1: when all is said and done and the dust clears,
- 45:33Speaker 1: one thing is for sure. The worm has most certainly
- 45:40Speaker 1: turned and the predators have become the prey. If you'd
