Two Prison Staff Arrested for Drug Trafficking | Huntsville News
Two prison employees at Elmore Correctional Facility, Niana Longmire and Carmelo Hopkins, have been arrested for conspiring to smuggle fentanyl, meth, flakka, spray paper, knives, USBs, AirPods, scales, and dozens of cell phones into the prison. Longmire admitted to bringing contraband and pointing out more before it could enter, while Hopkins knowingly participated.
