- 0:00Who's the most important person for you to show love to?
- 0:02Myself, 100%.
- 0:04Why?
- 0:04If I am not in the right place,
- 0:06I am a detriment to the whole family system.
- 0:09So I need to be great.
- 0:11I need to be doing amazing.
- 0:12Therefore, I need to take care of myself.
- 0:14The next one is my wife
- 0:16because we are the support system of the whole family.
- 0:18And also, it's a great example for the kids
- 0:22to understand that they are not priority number one.
- 0:25You are somehow going into the operations.
- 0:29You need to be radical.
- 0:30You think that you are flirting with all these ideas
- 0:33and you need to get married with one idea.
- 0:34I think that you are flirting with operation.
- 0:36You're coming up with the idea.
- 0:37You have the knowledge.
- 0:38You can see what you want to achieve,
- 0:40but then you're faced with,
- 0:41oh, okay, I need to start spending.
- 0:44Because you get so excited,
- 0:45you are happy to go and waste your energy
- 0:47on the operation side.
- 0:48I need to remove this dirty shit operator hat
- 0:52that I don't know why I have it.
- 0:54I want to be able to have an operator
- 0:56where I can just call and say,
- 0:58hey, listen, I'm thinking about this idea.
- 1:00I want to be able to have a person that says,
- 1:02okay, cool, leave it with me.
- 1:03I only need to focus on creating the vision,
- 1:06pressing the accelerator and protecting the vision.
- 1:08It's beautiful, man.
- 1:09It's a limiting belief, right?
- 1:10The other limiting belief is
- 1:12I can't find an amazing operator, partner, person
- 1:15who can fill that role.
- 1:16The biggest limiting belief is believing
- 1:18that I can do fuck all in a great way
- 1:21when it comes to operations.
- 1:22And when I say fuck all,
- 1:24what I mean is without me getting burned in the middle.
- 1:28Are you trying to attract like 60 plus year old single ladies?
- 1:32What's going on here?
- 1:33What is this porn star thing, Peter?
- 1:36Jesus.
- 1:37American style.
- 1:38That's it.
- 1:39You know, now we...
- 1:42How do you say?
- 1:43Now we are in the restricted...
- 1:45Content.
- 1:46Content.
- 1:47Not safe for work.
- 1:50Don't let your kids watch.
- 1:52Exactly.
- 1:53We're here.
- 1:53We're live, baby.
- 1:54It looks like you did something in your face.
- 1:56Did you do like...
- 1:57What did you do?
- 1:57Did you like Botox or did you paint your eyes?
- 2:01What happened?
- 2:02Haircut.
- 2:03It's just a haircut.
- 2:04I'm in Florida.
- 2:04That's why I got the Speedo.
- 2:08Maybe a little extra vitamin D.
- 2:09So what's here?
- 2:10What's the update?
- 2:11What's cooking?
- 2:12It's my Speedo.
- 2:12That was my surprise.
- 2:14Oh, that's the update?
- 2:15Is that the best thing that you have to offer to this show?
- 2:17I wanted to show you a true patriot.
- 2:20My sister's here with her two little kids.
- 2:22She flew by herself with them and came down.
- 2:25And my wife's like, why are you wearing a Speedo in front of your sister?
- 2:29I was like, I gotta wear a Speedo all the time.
- 2:32I'm not different for different people.
- 2:33Just me.
- 2:35So what's cooking?
- 2:36I tried the Apple Watch.
- 2:38I'm like, my hope was I would be less distracted.
- 2:40I think I'm more distracted.
- 2:42No notifications.
- 2:43Oh, nothing.
- 2:43Okay.
- 2:44All of them are off.
- 2:45So what are you doing?
- 2:46What are you tracking for?
- 2:47I used it so when I kiteboard, it tells me how high I go.
- 2:49But then I realized it takes away the fun.
- 2:51because now I'm out there when I'm kiteboarding, it can be 30 minutes.
- 2:55It can be two hours.
- 2:56I have
- 2:56no idea how long because you're in flow.
- 2:58But when you have this, you know, the time you also know
- 3:01when you jump.
- 3:01I mean, I'm still not good.
- 3:03So it's like, I think I'm like 20 feet in the air.
- 3:05I'm like 10 or five.
- 3:08So I go up and I'm like five seconds.
- 3:10And now it's, you know, I'm checking the
- 3:12watch, right?
- 3:13I turn it over and I'm looking down and I was like, whoa, it's not as much fun.
- 3:17Like it's not, I got it.
- 3:18It was my Christmas present.
- 3:19And I thought I'll give it two weeks.
- 3:21I'll try it out.
- 3:21And it's like, it takes away the pure,
- 3:23I'm reading this book, The Comfort Crisis.
- 3:25And it's like, we're supposed to be out of nature,
- 3:26disconnected.
- 3:27As little as 20 minutes, three times a week
- 3:30has huge changes on our stress level,
- 3:33our cortisol level, our everything.
- 3:35But this takes away me from nature.
- 3:37If you bring a device with you in nature, it doesn't count.
- 3:39It negates all the beautiful impact.
- 3:41So you're gonna return it basically.
- 3:43Yeah, two weeks.
- 3:44And the only thing was for kiteboarding
- 3:45to see how high you jump.
- 3:47I wanna start free diving as well,
- 3:49where you go down like deep in the ocean and try and spear fish and stuff or just be with the fish.
- 3:55It can also measure how far down you go and how long you're down.
- 3:58Those were the two reasons.
- 4:00And the third reason was maybe I'll be on my phone less because this will be set up as a phone,
- 4:05everything.
- 4:06But I answer the phone more.
- 4:07I'm answering calls.
- 4:08I'm answering.
- 4:09And there's
- 4:10pure utility, no question.
- 4:12But the trade-off is I don't want to be on it.
- 4:16I don't find anything
- 4:17Being positive about having a phone on your wrist vibrating or ringing all the time makes no sense to me.
- 4:25Some have argued to me, look, I only allow it to be like my wife, husband, girlfriend, boyfriend, siblings, and one important person.
- 4:33No one else can get through.
- 4:35So it's more of an, you can do either way.
- 4:37If you buy your own cellular connection, which I was going to do for this one, it is its own cell phone.
- 4:42Oh, that's cool.
- 4:43It is cool.
- 4:43And my mom actually loves it.
- 4:44I'm so proud of her in her 70s being like, yeah, I love it.
- 4:47I use it and she's always like, can you hear me?
- 4:49I'm on that watch.
- 4:50Like she barely knows how to use FaceTime.
- 4:52We still just see her forehead, right?
- 4:56Hey, can you, are you there?
- 4:58And it's just pure forehead.
- 4:59But her getting the Apple Watch, I was like, wow, that's really great.
- 5:01And she's obsessed with it.
- 5:02But I think the baby boomers get pulled into like sometimes the wrong stuff.
- 5:06And that might be an example.
- 5:08All this is just so much up for disruption.
- 5:10All these bricks, they have to go.
- 5:13Gone.
- 5:13Horrible form factor.
- 5:14Can someone come up with like some f***ing...
- 5:17Elon, Elon, come on, Elon.
- 5:18You know, he keeps flirting with it.
- 5:20People are like...
- 5:21That's not true.
- 5:22Those are fake videos on the internet.
- 5:24No, no, no.
- 5:24He responds just with a tweet.
- 5:26He'll say, I could easily do a phone, but it's not a priority.
- 5:29Yeah.
- 5:30That's what I mean by flirting.
- 5:31He can easily do anything, but nothing is a priority except for going to Mars, basically.
- 5:36Dude, I think about this all the time.
- 5:38I read a quote.
- 5:38I don't remember who it was.
- 5:39It said, all technology is temporary.
- 5:42Mind explode, right?
- 5:43Very true.
- 5:44And so when I think about that with a phone, it changed everything, right?
- 5:47Because it means we're always changing.
- 5:49Things are always changing.
- 5:50Technology is always improving.
- 5:51Think of the phone.
- 5:52The phone, I've told you this.
- 5:53I haven't seen anyone say this publicly yet.
- 5:55I just have this clear vision.
- 5:56Phone won't exist.
- 5:57It's all going to be your humanoid robot buddy, right?
- 5:59Pablo is my humanoid robot.
- 6:01Hey, Pablo, I want you to call blah, blah, blah and tell him this, right?
- 6:06And then the buddies suddenly on their face, you can see your friend's face and you talk
- 6:11to them like they're right there and you have a conversation.
- 6:13Okay, the face, maybe not, but for sure you just do the phone call.
- 6:17And your body's the robot.
- 6:18Nah.
- 6:19No, no, no.
- 6:19The robot is the cell phone.
- 6:21Oh, the robot is the cell phone.
- 6:22Yeah, the robot is the cell phone.
- 6:24That would mean that you will want to go with the robot absolutely everywhere.
- 6:30So now all of a sudden you go to doctor's appointment and the robot needs to be there with you.
- 6:35No, I think that is much...
- 6:37I disagree.
- 6:38We don't have the physical capacity to double population.
- 6:41It will happen.
- 6:42It's going to be more than double.
- 6:43I'll have two or three robots.
- 6:45Shut up.
- 6:46That's because you're a rich person.
- 6:49No.
- 6:49You're like rubbing in front of everyone's face.
- 6:5220 grand.
- 6:53Let me talk.
- 6:54Shut up.
- 6:54We don't have the physical space.
- 6:55Let's just say that we are saying we're
- 6:57going to the doctor.
- 6:58We go to the hospital.
- 6:59And now you're saying everyone has another person.
- 7:02So now it's so crowded, nobody fits.
- 7:04That's what I mean.
- 7:05In those spaces.
- 7:06So you are basically
- 7:08changing this, which is already too big for a massive humanoid robot.
- 7:13It makes no sense whatsoever.
- 7:15Now, I agree with you that you're going to have two, you're going to have three in your compound.
- 7:20You have 20 people working the fields, humongous amount of acres that you own all across the USA.
- 7:29You and Bill Gates are owning all farmland in the USA with your army of robots.
- 7:35People are going to be really sad when they try and rob me and they're like,
- 7:37why don't you have more money and stuff?
- 7:39Pablo said you.
- 7:43It's a good point.
- 7:44It's a really good challenge to say to space.
- 7:46You joke about this, right?
- 7:47And
- 7:47good feedback on, I love having this intern for like nine month periods.
- 7:51I'll have these interns.
- 7:52And it's kind of like that for me.
- 7:55Like they're amazing, but having in the political world,
- 7:58they call it, there's a term for it, but it's called like a body man.
- 8:01And basically you always
- 8:02have someone with you.
- 8:03That's one step ahead.
- 8:04So I know the guy that was a body man for a
- 8:06former presidential candidate, close friends with him.
- 8:08He went and got him coffee.
- 8:09He showed up his
- 8:10house before those days started.
- 8:12He drove him all of that.
- 8:13This guy, no one contacted.
- 8:15They all went
- 8:15through him.
- 8:16Yeah.
- 8:17And he was the physical standing next to him.
- 8:19And that's standard in the political
- 8:21world because they recognize you don't know what's coming.
- 8:24It's chaotic.
- 8:25They want that person to be
- 8:26in the zone and focused.
- 8:28And this other part will handle all of that.
- 8:30Yeah.
- 8:30But that is a different
- 8:31kind of, I don't think that everyone is going to be, is going to become that.
- 8:36I think that you and your compounds just made you lose touch.
- 8:40Okay.
- 8:40Anyhow, I think that this should not be like this.
- 8:43I think it should be like a little square or something way simpler.
- 8:49And maybe, maybe it is with something that allows to have a projected screen.
- 8:54But here's the other point.
- 8:56Maybe it's just you and I and a couple of people that are like very, very cautious of how addictive this is.
- 9:03But maybe 99% of the population wants this thing.
- 9:07It's like you don't drink alcohol, I don't drink alcohol.
- 9:10But guess what?
- 9:11The alcohol industry is, I don't know the size, but it's like a massive size since forever.
- 9:17It's deep, man.
- 9:18I have deep thoughts on this.
- 9:19So a couple of things.
- 9:21One, alcohol is the lowest number of people drinking it than ever on record since they started tracking in the 1940s.
- 9:28I hear you.
- 9:29It's still a trillion dollar company, industry, whatever.
- 9:32And you're right on the awakening.
- 9:34Second, in this book, The Comfort Crisis, it talks about a former employee of Apple, a senior executive, is on record stating, I believe the devil and all evil resides in the cell phones.
- 9:45It's like, and she and Bill Gates do not allow their kids to touch tablets, iPhones, technology,
- 9:52right?
- 9:53So it's, there's clear there, there are, you're right.
- 9:54How small the group is you, me and this intentional group, I think.
- 9:58But I think with data tracking information, people awaken.
- 10:02I love what you're saying.
- 10:03I think most people don't give a .
- 10:05Seriously.
- 10:06I think most people just don't give a whatsoever.
- 10:08They have other more important things to do and they are totally cool.
- 10:11Keep posting their pictures in Instagram.
- 10:14them traveling the world or them whatever, doing whatever they do.
- 10:17I think that that's
- 10:18way more important than what you think that Facebook does with the information or whatever
- 10:25Monsanto puts in the seeds.
- 10:28Yeah.
- 10:29It's deep, man.
- 10:29Yeah.
- 10:30You just watch too much Joe Rogan, too much conspiracy.
- 10:33It's funny.
- 10:35I've never watched every other
- 10:36clips I get I like, but I think I've only watched one or two episodes all the way through
- 10:40Joe.
- 10:41Really?
- 10:42Yeah.
- 10:43You don't like it?
- 10:44I think when I get really excited about somebody interviews, I just go to them talking just
- 10:48like straight them.
- 10:49I don't really have a good answer.
- 10:50How many of you watch?
- 10:51I watch several.
- 10:52Yeah, several.
- 10:53But it's all connected with who is he interviewing?
- 10:55So I watched all the episodes that he interviewed Elon.
- 10:59I watched the one with Trump.
- 11:00I watched right now is coming to me the Patrick B. David.
- 11:03I think he did two with Joe.
- 11:05I watched the Elon ones, of course.
- 11:07Those episodes I find very interesting, but I don't really watch to be like, oh, who is
- 11:11this person?
- 11:13curious to see who is this person like i met an amazing italian woman yesterday who left italy
- 11:1840 years ago has an amazing non-profit jew shop that was super inspiring it was funny talking to
- 11:24her because unique perspectives when she started talking i thought we were the opposite and then
- 11:29so i said i'll only ask questions the liberal woman that he that he wanted to bring into the
- 11:33podcast no no i don't i don't know who that is but no i just met this woman yesterday she's like 75
- 11:37years old.
- 11:38And it was weird.
- 11:39It was weird because her name is the middle name of my mom and my wife
- 11:43and my name is the name of her husband.
- 11:45So we just kept finding these weird things.
- 11:46So I thought we
- 11:47were complete opposite.
- 11:48And we ended up coming with, I only asked questions.
- 11:51She talked the
- 11:52whole time.
- 11:53And we came to a place where like, I agreed with her, which was fascinating.
- 11:56But that's a story or what is it?
- 11:59It's a topic, I think, of the idea that we jump to conclusions and assumptions so fast.
- 12:04And what
- 12:04can we achieve?
- 12:05Maybe you're right.
- 12:06Maybe it's more of a story that doesn't.
- 12:07It's this fascinating
- 12:08thing to me.
- 12:09My first assumption is to be like, wrong.
- 12:12I'm right.
- 12:13You're wrong.
- 12:14And I'm like,
- 12:14ready to tell you why.
- 12:16And I just checked that.
- 12:17And what can happen when we as humans check that
- 12:20impulse, right?
- 12:21And this is just, this is one example of that.
- 12:23Not to say I'm the only one
- 12:24doing it.
- 12:24Look, I struggle with it every day.
- 12:26I think it's a human nature thing, right?
- 12:29And she
- 12:29even gave the example.
- 12:30She goes, when we point at someone else and say horrible things, you know,
- 12:35racist, whatever, it actually comes back at us, right?
- 12:38A flip.
- 12:38And she said that on her own.
- 12:40So she's one.
- 12:41Second is having a bad week of sleep and then feeling uncomfortable about certain
- 12:47things and being able to tap into what it was and not communicating well with you and my wife
- 12:54and just kind of realizing what happens when we, you know, when there's things we can still work
- 12:59on and how those arise.
- 13:01So I've been having these calls with some amazing business owners,
- 13:04and one of them about the original idea.
- 13:06In this kind of fact-finding search process,
- 13:10I keep getting asked about families, about, man, can you help me with blah, blah, blah,
- 13:14my kids, my wife, my whatever.
- 13:16It's like a God universe thing of being like, hey, idiot,
- 13:19because there's only two things I'm really fast.
- 13:22I'm inspired by one.
- 13:23It's supporting the creators and makers, right?
- 13:25That's the goal right now.
- 13:27Like that's just something that fires me up.
- 13:29There's only two ways I think I can really do that.
- 13:31One is by improving their, their family life,
- 13:34their business of being a family, their whatever.
- 13:36The other is creating a more, you know,
- 13:38your idea of this infinite structure so they can create.
- 13:41Those two paths are the ones that are interesting.
- 13:42I went skiing with a buddy on Wednesday with all of our kids.
- 13:46And when we were doing it,
- 13:47we had the most productive brainstorming session.
- 13:49He said to me, why don't you combine them?
- 13:51Yeah, and I thought that was kind of cool.
- 13:52But since then, man, I've just gone deeper and deeper on why are the kids all messed up?
- 13:58You always say this.
- 13:59Because the school system is teaching them, not the parents.
- 14:01For sure.
- 14:02But do you feel the parents are much better in most cases?
- 14:06No, they're terrible.
- 14:07Exactly.
- 14:08Because what playbook are they using?
- 14:09Whose playbook?
- 14:10They're using the playbook that they learn in school, that their parents learn in school,
- 14:16that their grandparents learn in school.
- 14:18And yes, things got a little bit better between there's not too much slapping right now and too much cold showers and too much kind of thing.
- 14:30But it's still very similar in terms of like, I am the authority and you're an idiot and you will obey me.
- 14:36Yeah.
- 14:37Which is the school system way.
- 14:38It was rolling with like, if I truly didn't care about money, like if I could just, let's think about the kids, right?
- 14:45If my kids were on the playground, I'd say, you don't have to worry about falling.
- 14:48Just go for it.
- 14:49I'm wrestling with this.
- 14:50Like, what is it?
- 14:51What is the thing that I get most excited about and impact offering the world?
- 14:55And it might be this kind of parenting playbook, right?
- 14:59How does that look like?
- 15:00So first, the parenting playbook, because using your parents one isn't working, right?
- 15:05It's like, that's the tagline or something like that.
- 15:08But you get the message, right?
- 15:09Or it could be a question, because did your parents playbook work?
- 15:12Or like, why are you using your parents?
- 15:14I would maybe put it more into like, is it your current one working?
- 15:18Wow.
- 15:19Yeah.
- 15:19Yeah.
- 15:20Rather than taking it to the parents.
- 15:21Like it's like, this is about the current situation.
- 15:24Then you can talk about that later.
- 15:25Okay.
- 15:26So parenting playbook.
- 15:27And the other one that I had, the other name I liked was parenting operating system.
- 15:31Because you think your spouse is the, is the POS.
- 15:34And have you heard this before?
- 15:35Piece of shit stands for.
- 15:38Or like, because your current playbook is a POS.
- 15:41Either name, whatever.
- 15:42Parent operating system or parent playbook.
- 15:44How does it operate?
- 15:45Step one, and I have like pages and pages and pages of notes.
- 15:48It's a couple of key themes.
- 15:50Like you do an energy audit.
- 15:51So you go through your entire week and you audit how you feel before and after these
- 15:56things.
- 15:56Cooking a meal, doing laundry, you know, packing their bags, blah, blah, blah, everything.
- 16:01Managing the broken thing in the house, calling the electrician, all of this stuff.
- 16:05You energy audit.
- 16:06Because regardless, you could be making $20,000, $30,000.
- 16:09You could be at minimum wage and you may be married or have a boyfriend or girlfriend
- 16:13and you never communicated, hey, this thing I hate doing.
- 16:15And the other person's like, oh, it's kind of fun for me.
- 16:18So first you do an energy audit.
- 16:20Then you do a fear finder.
- 16:22What's a fear finder?
- 16:23You go to your biggest fear, right?
- 16:25So you uncover.
- 16:26For a lot of them, it's like the mom saying,
- 16:27I lose my kid, they die.
- 16:29So we help uncover these fears so we can talk about them.
- 16:32Or another example, for someone who can afford a babysitter,
- 16:35they're like, I don't want a babysitter.
- 16:36This is the number one thing I hear from moms
- 16:38because it's a deep fear that finally they unleash,
- 16:42which is if the kid gets hurt, I don't want them to go to the babysitter and not me.
- 16:46Like that
- 16:46would break them.
- 16:47That's the equivalent of dying for not all, but many of these moms I've met and
- 16:50talked to.
- 16:50Okay.
- 16:51So you've got energy audit.
- 16:52You've got fear finder.
- 16:53There's a third one that
- 16:54I have, but you go through those.
- 16:56There'd be a love language quiz, right?
- 16:57How do your kid and
- 16:59your partner receive love, right?
- 17:01Hey, who's the most important person to show love to, to a mom
- 17:04or dad?
- 17:04What would your answer be, Pablo?
- 17:05You're married.
- 17:06You've got two kids.
- 17:07Who's the most
- 17:08important person for you to show love to, to make sure they're feeling loved?
- 17:11I'm going to
- 17:11understanding the question.
- 17:12Okay.
- 17:13Your family is six.
- 17:13It's six.
- 17:14Yeah.
- 17:14Six.
- 17:15You have six kids
- 17:16or four kids, four kids, six kids.
- 17:18You got six kids and four kids, four kids.
- 17:20Okay.
- 17:20Four kids,
- 17:21two parents.
- 17:21Yes.
- 17:22There's six.
- 17:22Yes.
- 17:23Who is the most important of the six for you to show love to?
- 17:26Myself.
- 17:27A hundred percent.
- 17:28Totally agree.
- 17:29Okay.
- 17:29Number two, my wife, a hundred percent.
- 17:31Why?
- 17:32We are, I'm just going to start with myself, right?
- 17:34And then I go to my wife.
- 17:38if I am not in the right place in the right with the right energy I am a detriment to the whole
- 17:45family system to the to everyone in the family so I need to be great I need to be doing amazing
- 17:51so I therefore I need to take care of myself and the things that I need for me to be taking care
- 17:57of are different than whatever my wife needs and whatever the kids needs but I need to be
- 18:01self-aware and I need to prioritize myself to be in a great place to then be able to do my job,
- 18:08to do my role, provide and so on.
- 18:10The next one is my wife, because we are the support system of the
- 18:15whole family.
- 18:15And also we are the creators of the family, or at least the vehicles where the rest of
- 18:22the kids, the kids came.
- 18:23So, and also it's a great example for the kids to understand that they are
- 18:30not priority number one.
- 18:32Priority number one is each parent on their own and then their relationship
- 18:37with the parent.
- 18:38And then they come.
- 18:41What do you think?
- 18:42It's beautiful.
- 18:42The simple one-line
- 18:44summary of what you just said, I would say is, if the parent's relationship breaks,
- 18:50the child's entire world breaks.
- 18:52That's it, right?
- 18:54So if that one bond breaks,
- 18:58each of the kids worlds was just shattered and just broke yeah it just goes back to the same
- 19:02thing but you're expanding it to now the relationship which is if i said if i am not
- 19:07if i don't take care of myself and i am showing up in a terrible state then everything breaks
- 19:12the same thing with our relationship step one is the relationship when you look in the mirror
- 19:16with yourself then when you look directly into your wife and i think that a lot of relationships
- 19:21that's not the case that there is i think that a lot of relationships is they never start with
- 19:26themselves.
- 19:27And then they never continue with the spouse, which is some of this job comes first.
- 19:31Okay.
- 19:32So let's come back to the parent playbook.
- 19:34So the parent playbook, you're familiar with EOS,
- 19:37beautiful system, way too formal for something like a family.
- 19:40But what is the key thing?
- 19:42If I
- 19:42could pick one thing I want for every family to do, it's to stop thinking of just logistical,
- 19:47who's going to pick up Tommy and who's going to pack the bag?
- 19:49And did you buy the diapers?
- 19:51And move away from that for 30 minutes a week.
- 19:53And this is the crux of the whole model.
- 19:56right?
- 19:57Whether somebody does it on their own and self-implements or uses our system,
- 20:00a 30-minute meeting, that's it.
- 20:02What do you do in the 30-minute meeting?
- 20:03You talk about the
- 20:04most important thing that is failing or struggling for the family, whatever it is, right?
- 20:10But that is
- 20:10the time to discuss it.
- 20:12In EOS speak, it's the IDS, right?
- 20:14Now, how would we facilitate this?
- 20:17Let's think of from balling to balling on a budget.
- 20:19Balling on a budget is you self-implement,
- 20:22you do it yourself.
- 20:23You just have some simple software that helps you maintain it.
- 20:25Balling
- 20:26on a budget is you use somebody like me, I'd be the highest one, right?
- 20:30I come in, I help facilitate
- 20:31it for 30 minutes in and out.
- 20:34Middle of the row would be a local, oftentimes moms who have
- 20:37implemented this, have the experience.
- 20:39They would either come in person to your house and help you
- 20:42do it, but only for three to six months.
- 20:45The idea is we're in and we're out.
- 20:46We're in to get you
- 20:47running.
- 20:48So similar to EOS.
- 20:49Very much, very much.
- 20:50There's a lot I want to take away from EOS,
- 20:53but then there's, I don't know, 10 to 20 books I've read on parenting that is a different
- 20:57philosophy that needs to be put in as underlying.
- 21:00Can I bash it?
- 21:01Yeah, tear it apart.
- 21:02So the first challenge that I have is when you speak about systems or operations,
- 21:09because you're not an operator, but you have an incredible approach to parenting.
- 21:16And I'm going to call it for now approach.
- 21:18So when you're thinking about this,
- 21:22just remove yourself, detach yourself for a second about all these little operational ideas
- 21:27that you are 30 minute meeting or first you do this, second you do this.
- 21:31What is the ultimate
- 21:32goal that you want that people achieve by using this?
- 21:37Coming back to the title, they are free
- 21:40to be the best parent they could have ever imagined.
- 21:44They flipped their parenting.
- 21:45And
- 21:45often cases they're doing the exact opposite of what they do to set themselves free.
- 21:49But when you say set themselves free, that means that they are somehow prisoners.
- 21:53I'll give you a perfect example.
- 21:55The cooking.
- 21:56My wife said, I love to cook.
- 21:57I said, wonderful.
- 21:58I'm going to bring in this woman from down the street.
- 22:00We'll try it for one month or a couple months.
- 22:03She'll cook once a week to meal prep for.
- 22:04My wife said, no, no, no, I don't want someone else in here.
- 22:06I don't.
- 22:07I love to cook.
- 22:08I said, okay, you can cook anytime you want, any day.
- 22:10And how many times did she cook?
- 22:11So she was a prisoner.
- 22:13But what happened with people that cannot afford it?
- 22:15Great example.
- 22:16I think that this is why it scales up and down.
- 22:20It may be one of the partners doesn't realize how much he or she likes to cook.
- 22:24It may be they have an extra bonus room in their basement or a office room they never
- 22:29use, and they rent that out to a person who now cooks for them.
- 22:32We did that.
- 22:33When I was concerned about spending, we had a girl live with us.
- 22:36She lived for free, and she cooked meals for us.
- 22:38And we traded some space, and she ended up being a wonderful influence.
- 22:41She completely changed the way my wife thinks about food being medicine by eating naturally,
- 22:47right?
- 22:48And I think we don't use the full creativity without some of these frameworks and systems,
- 22:52such as you can always say no, that the COO, in my relationship with my wife, I'm the CEO,
- 22:59she's the COO.
- 23:00She can fire anyone whenever she wants, but she can't prevent me from hiring them.
- 23:05What a great idea.
- 23:06I don't know where you got that idea.
- 23:07No idea.
- 23:08Wait, is this from you?
- 23:10Did you give me that?
- 23:11I mentioned this in one of the talks that I gave.
- 23:14I thought you meant the firing and hiring.
- 23:15There can only be one CEO.
- 23:19Totally.
- 23:20And one COO.
- 23:22Think of the companies with co-CEO.
- 23:24BlackBerry.
- 23:24That didn't go for him.
- 23:25Waymo.
- 23:26It's going to go bankrupt.
- 23:28It's such a red flag.
- 23:30Timestamp it.
- 23:31December 26, 2025 at 11.30 a.m. Eastern Time.
- 23:34Do you have any other obvious thing?
- 23:36Like Ford is going to go bankrupt?
- 23:37I don't think I'm legally allowed to disclose any opinions on that, being a prior employee
- 23:42and selling my company to them.
- 23:44You cannot say anything about Ford?
- 23:45No.
- 23:46Do you see?
- 23:46You're a bitch.
- 23:47Yeah.
- 23:50Wait, wait, just to be clear, I'm not lying.
- 23:52I'm just deciding I don't want a lawsuit.
- 23:55Because you cannot say anything.
- 23:57I remember one time.
- 23:59I agree that I won't disclose.
- 24:01I had an opportunity to sell my business.
- 24:03And I remember that I looked at the contract and the contract was something like,
- 24:07you cannot say ever anything bad about us ever doesn't matter what we do and i was like what
- 24:14i mean but if you f**k me over like yeah i want to be able to say what i want i think not no that's
- 24:22no like okay it's so funny you say that because i started a business with a guy and basically he
- 24:28stole from the company and his other partners now i was a board member everyone else that were
- 24:33partners worked for the company.
- 24:34So they're like, you know, again, they're scared of losing their
- 24:37job.
- 24:38I was a board member.
- 24:39I own part of the company.
- 24:40So I find out he's doing these dividends
- 24:41to start this separate company that only he owned.
- 24:44I freak out.
- 24:45I'm like, what?
- 24:45You have
- 24:46fiduciary responsibility.
- 24:47I'm just going to have to sue you.
- 24:48I don't want to have to do this.
- 24:49Only
- 24:49the lawyers win.
- 24:50He didn't believe he did anything wrong.
- 24:52Ultimately, we settled because we have a
- 24:54great mutual friend.
- 24:55And I was like, you know what?
- 24:56I'm already in a lawsuit on something.
- 24:58You know, I have only been in one lawsuit on myself that I initiated.
- 25:02So the guy I started
- 25:02the business with that took all the money.
- 25:04Again, he had me sign an agreement that said,
- 25:07I can't speak about him negatively.
- 25:11And you're so right, Pablo, that actually shows the intent
- 25:15or the likely outcome that someone has an intention or plan to do something terrible.
- 25:21And it's somewhat premeditated and they want to protect themselves.
- 25:26Yeah, wild.
- 25:28Okay, wait,
- 25:28come back to tearing me apart, tear apart this idea.
- 25:31Because you're tearing apart the execution
- 25:32of me as an operator.
- 25:34Yeah, I'm trying to understand
- 25:35what you are trying to create.
- 25:36By the way, how serious are you about this?
- 25:39Between 60 and 70%.
- 25:42Because I think that your struggle,
- 25:43and this is my opinion,
- 25:45and I'm not 100% sure, 99% sure,
- 25:47but maybe the struggle is that you come up
- 25:50with all the ideas and you struggle
- 25:53to find the right vehicle for this to skyrocket.
- 25:57You've been doing this thing where you go,
- 25:59you audit, you help for free.
- 26:02you do this because you're passionate about it, but then you never find the vehicle where you
- 26:07say, okay, that's it.
- 26:09This is how I'm going to package it and skyrocket.
- 26:11Let's go.
- 26:12Never is a strong word, right?
- 26:13I, you know, I don't like absolutes.
- 26:15I would agree with you.
- 26:16You are right as a theme, but let's go back.
- 26:19So I really liked the Tony Robbins name your year
- 26:21thing.
- 26:22And we have a good buddy that was telling me he goes to all the Tony Robbins events.
- 26:26He
- 26:26names his year.
- 26:27Names this year.
- 26:28What?
- 26:28A phrase for the year, titling the year.
- 26:31Okay.
- 26:31For me
- 26:31personally.
- 26:33You did all this stuff.
- 26:34You're going to know it.
- 26:34So 2024 was finding power.
- 26:352025 was
- 26:39focusing power.
- 26:40And I'm trying to decide what 2026 is, but it's probably unleashing.
- 26:44So 2024,
- 26:45what you said is totally right.
- 26:47Spot on with my life and my themes.
- 26:492025, there was a business
- 26:51venture and the nonprofit, both of which I started finding the power, which was I can create as an
- 26:57investor, the plan, the strategy.
- 26:59And in both of those, the nonprofit and a for-profit, I had an
- 27:02amazing operator that I partnered with that was executing.
- 27:07Well, one I hired and one I partnered
- 27:11with.
- 27:11But yeah, you're right.
- 27:12There's a theme of, and this comes back to us fearing ourselves or
- 27:16not being willing to go into who we truly are.
- 27:18We try and, I want to be an operator.
- 27:20I want to be
- 27:20the CEO of the business, or I want to be the one managing the team and doing calls.
- 27:24No, I don't.
- 27:25I'm not good at it and I shouldn't be doing it.
- 27:27What am I good at?
- 27:28Having a clear mind, seeing what no one else wants to say is the truth and double down
- 27:33with that resource.
- 27:35And usually I think this is where I think I am an investor.
- 27:38It's I've seen it somewhere else in the world through travels, through talking, through
- 27:42curiosity, through books.
- 27:43And I'm able to apply that in a new way.
- 27:45Like parenting.
- 27:46Parenting.
- 27:47I have 20 books, the EOS philosophy, these other things that I did myself.
- 27:52I thought, oh, these are interesting.
- 27:53Why don't I test it to create a system internally at my house that we operate by?
- 27:58Oh, this works really well for us.
- 28:00I don't really see other people operating in this way.
- 28:03That's me.
- 28:03I don't think I'm the creator of any of this.
- 28:06I think I'm pulling together puzzle pieces or puzzle.
- 28:09And kind of that's like, that's what I do generally.
- 28:12Now, I think I used to have more of an ego and think, oh, I'm creating this stuff and
- 28:15it all came in my mind or it's coming from me.
- 28:17No, it's just me finding.
- 28:19And in the best case, I download it at 3 a.m. and it's coming through me.
- 28:22But usually it's just seeing it out in the wild and applying it to a different industry vertical situation.
- 28:28So coming back to this.
- 28:29So when you say about this business, first of all, do you see this as a business, right?
- 28:33Yeah.
- 28:34Okay.
- 28:34And what role are you playing?
- 28:36That's a good question.
- 28:36I don't know.
- 28:37The who would not, I would not be.
- 28:39For how many people is this?
- 28:40Today?
- 28:40No, no.
- 28:40For how many people do you see this?
- 28:43What's the reach?
- 28:43Oh, that's the reason.
- 28:44That's the thing that actually gets me excited is the movement of, I think that I don't know of anything that exists at all.
- 28:50So it could be any parent.
- 28:52Okay.
- 28:52So you're not answering.
- 28:53There's at least 50 million families in the United States.
- 28:57There's an easy reach.
- 28:58Is that right?
- 28:58Yeah.
- 28:59About 100 million people.
- 29:00What I think is I see this much more as you being the communicator from the top of the
- 29:08funnel all the way down to private session with Peter, right?
- 29:13So again, picture Tony Robbins as an example.
- 29:17But this is just focus only on parenting and creating freedom for you as a parent, which creates happiness for everyone in the family, basically.
- 29:28And I don't see, I mean, you may say that Tony provides systems, but not with the rigidity that I am hearing.
- 29:37EOS is so rigid.
- 29:39It's so rigid.
- 29:41And to me here, what you are sharing is much more a mindset with some tools that you have invented, you copied, you took from somewhere and modified a little bit because every situation is different.
- 29:57And I guess that this is what you're going to find out when you start going mass market on this.
- 30:02So you can have from the way I see that you can go so many different routes because you can go from having a playbook course like our friend Anastasia put together.
- 30:13And that is fantastic.
- 30:15You can create an academy after that for people to be involved.
- 30:20So there is some follow up.
- 30:22You can eventually put events together.
- 30:24You can have live streams.
- 30:27You can have a school community where or you can have your own website where people pay whatever $10 a month or $20 a month or $100 a month or whatever.
- 30:40You can have so much.
- 30:41But I think that this comes back always to the same limiting factor, which is what role are you going to play?
- 30:49And you'd say Tony is the communicator for his business.
- 30:52Tony is the fire.
- 30:53Tony is without Tony, that business doesn't really exist.
- 30:59And maybe now after what, like 40 years or 50 years of him doing the same thing with different strategies, right?
- 31:08Different courses or different events.
- 31:11But it's basically the same thing.
- 31:13Then maybe there is a chance that maybe and with AI, maybe there is a chance that this passes on and continues.
- 31:21but I think that if you think about Date with Destiny,
- 31:26which is, in my opinion, the best event that Tony has,
- 31:29after Tony passes, hopefully in a very long time,
- 31:32I don't think that people are going to be signing up for that event
- 31:35unless there is literally a replica of Tony doing Tony.
- 31:42Put me in, Dad.
- 31:43Put me in, Dad.
- 31:44Dad, it's time for you to recognize me as your illegitimate son.
- 31:48So I think that it always comes back to the same thing.
- 31:52This is my opinion, your limiting factor.
- 31:54You don't have limitations of ideas, problems with ideas and knowledge and books and communication.
- 32:01To me, your problem is always the same or your limitation is always the same, which is
- 32:05what are you willing to give for this to be something?
- 32:09This is great feedback.
- 32:10The one thing that got me kind of fired up was, this is wild, but there's a
- 32:15childhood friend, a guy I went kindergarten through college with.
- 32:18And his older sister
- 32:19has been a teacher.
- 32:20I don't know her well, but she seems wonderful.
- 32:22She quit her job to advise
- 32:25families picking a school.
- 32:27And I was like, that's the worst business idea I've ever heard.
- 32:29Because
- 32:30I know she's great intention.
- 32:31She's worked at a bunch of different schools.
- 32:33But your clients are
- 32:34interested in you one time a year before school starts.
- 32:36Or if you have a troubled kid that got
- 32:38bullied.
- 32:39It can be a good business.
- 32:40I don't know why is it a bad business?
- 32:41I'm going to check in
- 32:42with her, my guess is it's really tough to find.
- 32:45I think that it depends.
- 32:46It all depends on how
- 32:47passionate the person is and how great the person is at doing what they're doing.
- 32:51And I really think
- 32:52that, I mean, you are very passionate about doing this in your own family.
- 32:56You are passionate about
- 32:58speaking when we are in an event or in a meeting or the topic comes about, you're very passionate,
- 33:04but are you passionate about putting the time to make a business out of this?
- 33:08I think the reason less business and coming back to like, what would I do if I didn't worry about failing or money or anything?
- 33:15It all starts with parenting.
- 33:17You talk about kids in the school, right?
- 33:19I look at it as school is like if the parent wakes up to how they might pick a different school.
- 33:24If a parent wakes up to how they're parenting, they at least have weekends and morning and evenings, right?
- 33:31Here's another rule that we'd have.
- 33:32When a family's really struggling with mornings, the dad takes it over.
- 33:36or the CEO, whether it's the mom or dad, whoever's CEO, like I'm going to solve this.
- 33:40It's the
- 33:40hardest part of the day is getting to school, getting organized, get everything.
- 33:43Dad's in
- 33:43charge.
- 33:44CEO's in charge.
- 33:45I'm going to do this and set up a system because I'm going to go into the
- 33:47hardest point.
- 33:48Is this a simple business or is a complex business?
- 33:51Very much a complicated business.
- 33:53Let me ask again.
- 33:53Is this a simple business or a complex business?
- 33:56I'd say complex because it's
- 33:57much more, it's much more like the vision I have right now is you would have a local rep that's
- 34:02been through some basic training?
- 34:04That's not what I'm asking.
- 34:05You can always create a very
- 34:06complicated business out of an original simple idea and simple business.
- 34:13So let me ask you in
- 34:13a different way.
- 34:14If you think about our friend and what he wants to do in the healthcare,
- 34:21vertical and so on.
- 34:22Is that a simple business or a complex business?
- 34:25I assume complex.
- 34:26I don't
- 34:26know.
- 34:26Well, I agree with you.
- 34:27I agree with you.
- 34:28Our friend Anastasia, her post-exit, post-wealth
- 34:31of playbook.
- 34:32And so is that a simple business or a complex business?
- 34:35Right now, probably simple, but I think it will grow to be complex.
- 34:39I don't think that's how it works.
- 34:41No, you might be right.
- 34:45It is simple or it's complex, period.
- 34:48Simple.
- 34:49Yeah, I agree with you.
- 34:50Why yours is complex and hers is simple?
- 34:52I don't expect to ever be teaching groups like her.
- 34:55That doesn't give me energy.
- 34:56No interest to that.
- 34:57You are not answering my question.
- 34:59I don't know.
- 34:59It's a good question.
- 35:00It's a good challenge.
- 35:01I think that her program is dealing with one person getting in their own little heart.
- 35:06The dynamics of a family system, mom, dad, kids, you know, running the house, all of those is, right?
- 35:13I'm talking to people worth hundreds of millions of dollars that are going bankrupt in that family system and are crushing their business system.
- 35:19So look at the emotions involved in getting your spouse, your CEO to be on board with something.
- 35:25That's very complicated.
- 35:27I think you are conflicting the word difficult.
- 35:31with complexity.
- 35:32These are two different things.
- 35:34That something is difficult.
- 35:36So let's say
- 35:37kiteboard, right?
- 35:39It's difficult.
- 35:40It's complex too.
- 35:41You got wind directions, you got wind speeds,
- 35:44you got kite size, you got trim, you got board size.
- 35:47Yeah, but you can say the same thing about
- 35:49anything also.
- 35:50The first thing that came right now, I think that is connected with the speed.
- 35:53Complicated businesses take more time.
- 35:56Take more time to evolve, take more time to...
- 35:58to you have to simple business are much more because it's simple.
- 36:05Doesn't really require much.
- 36:08Anastasia said this, and I agree with her.
- 36:10If it wasn't for me that pushed her to do the two events,
- 36:13she would have never done it as fast as she did it because it's for her.
- 36:18She's in a very tough position because her mission or the vehicle that right
- 36:22now she's choosing for her mission is a simple business and she's a
- 36:27complicator.
- 36:27so this is why I am helping her I'm so glad to be helping her because like I see she gets stuck
- 36:32I'm like no no what are you doing no no just just do this but but didn't you think that we should
- 36:37do we should do like no zero no no you're good let's go do this just this and it's unbelievable
- 36:45we have conversations and she just tends to over complicate but again this is because when I say
- 36:52overcomplicate.
- 36:54She just does herself, but it just doesn't really apply for a business or for
- 36:58a project or for a mission or for whatever that is simple.
- 37:03It's pretty straightforward.
- 37:05And I guess my only question would be, I look at the models of EOS or strategic coaching
- 37:11as two business models that are way more appealing to me than...
- 37:15Because those are more complex for sure.
- 37:18Yes.
- 37:18Yeah, those are what I'm more interested in than something like Tony Robbins or Anastasia's path.
- 37:24Okay, there you go.
- 37:26So Tony, again, it's simple.
- 37:30Maybe if I say it in a different way, it's pretty straightforward.
- 37:33He's able to somehow, I mean, very complex things, but he brings them down in a very simple way.
- 37:40Anastasia, the same thing.
- 37:42Very simple way of communicating something that is so complex.
- 37:46So she, greatest skill that she has, if you look at the first event that she put together,
- 37:52too much noise that she was able to clean a lot.
- 37:55I gave her a lot of feedback also, and I'm not taking credit, but she listened to a lot
- 38:01of different feedback and she made a second event way cleaner, way more straightforward.
- 38:07When you think about EOS, EOS is not very straightforward.
- 38:10You need to train yourself.
- 38:13To do the opposite of what you want.
- 38:14Yeah.
- 38:14Now I am also even thinking of going to the gym.
- 38:18You need to train yourself.
- 38:20Being able to get to the other side of the tunnel after post-exit, post-wealth or a death event, let's say, then it takes, it's very, very, very hard.
- 38:31And you need to keep working and you need to keep working out and working out and working out and working out and showing up all the time.
- 38:37When you talk about strategic coach, and again, I have not done that.
- 38:41So I'm speaking from what other friends told me.
- 38:43It's much more, it's a complicated type of business.
- 38:46So that is interesting.
- 38:47You are making the correct, in my opinion.
- 38:49You are not interested in the simplifier version.
- 38:52You like the complicated version.
- 38:54Simplifier is Peter has a magic sauce.
- 38:56He's going to show up to events or talk with you and simplify your life through his experience,
- 39:03right?
- 39:03I wouldn't be good at that.
- 39:04I wouldn't enjoy that.
- 39:05I don't know.
- 39:06Because I think that's what you're doing.
- 39:08I think that's what you see today because that's a simple view of where it is.
- 39:11What I see is I've done EOS.
- 39:14I've read some of the books and watched a bunch of videos on the, whatever it's called, strategic coaching.
- 39:23Those are, as an investor, those are what I'm imagining merging with the parenting strategies, approaches, books, knowledge that I've been able to do.
- 39:32Putting that knowledge into those systems.
- 39:34And I'm probably not communicating it clearly.
- 39:37That's the investor, what I'm seeing and envisioning.
- 39:39That's how I operate my family today.
- 39:42Like you come and you see chaos
- 39:43because I haven't written it down
- 39:44and I haven't communicated or gotten it in a way
- 39:46that you can understand.
- 39:47It's already what I'm doing.
- 39:48It's already what we do in our family.
- 39:50It's just, I haven't been able to communicate it,
- 39:53distill it, provide it.
- 39:54So it looks like magic.
- 39:55It looks like Peter, you know, Tony Robbins, bastard son.
- 39:59What is your next step?
- 40:00My next step is deciding whether or not
- 40:01this is a worthy thing, passion.
- 40:04mission to go try and put my life energy into for 2026.
- 40:08That's the real one.
- 40:09I have three or four
- 40:10things that are intriguing.
- 40:11But literally, I got on a call with a guy who's an amazing business
- 40:13that's perfect for this holding company.
- 40:15The first guess how many calls we had before we even got to
- 40:19his business?
- 40:19Three.
- 40:21Three calls.
- 40:22We did a full 30 minutes to 60 minutes just talking about his
- 40:25family at his request, not mine.
- 40:27He was like, hey, I saw this video that I had done, you know,
- 40:31where I talked, it's the only time I've ever talked an hour about this stuff.
- 40:33And he's like,
- 40:34I can't stop thinking about it.
- 40:35I've already started trying to do some of it.
- 40:37Can I ask you
- 40:37questions?
- 40:38And we were literally first call went through, he's like, more questions.
- 40:41We didn't get
- 40:42to the business thing.
- 40:43And I'm trying to like live with life and flow with a little bit.
- 40:46So
- 40:46second call is like, Hey, do you have more of the family things or do you want to dive into this?
- 40:49Yeah.
- 40:49If you don't mind the family things, boom, second call.
- 40:51Third one.
- 40:52Yeah.
- 40:52Third one,
- 40:53we get go through more family.
- 40:54So when you, I'm just coming back to the question that you didn't
- 40:57answer because you don't know.
- 40:59You answer with, I don't know, which is maybe I'm going to ask in a
- 41:01different way.
- 41:02What is the limiting factor?
- 41:03Today, the limiting factor is step one,
- 41:07committing in a way that's like, hey, this is, I'm excited enough about this that it sets me
- 41:11free to say no to everything else.
- 41:12That's step one, right?
- 41:13Why do you need to go like that?
- 41:15Because in my investments, in my life, in my marriage and everything, I've just realized I'm
- 41:19way more successful when I feel the energy is so strong about one thing that I'm able to then
- 41:25repel everything else.
- 41:27Say, nope, nope, nope.
- 41:28If I don't get there, I feel I'm setting myself up
- 41:31for failure, not success.
- 41:32Okay.
- 41:33I would just maybe, maybe, maybe put a question mark, asterisk,
- 41:39something.
- 41:39Tell me, upgrade my mind.
- 41:41I think that your, it's the same feedback that I gave
- 41:45Anastasia.
- 41:46Anastasia really understands that this is her main limiting factor, which is you do not
- 41:54have an operator, period.
- 41:57Right now, based on what you told me, you hired a chief of staff
- 42:03in your house, right?
- 42:05So now finally you have an operator in your household.
- 42:10And it's amazing.
- 42:12It was good advice from you.
- 42:13You do not have that in your business mission.
- 42:18Totally correct.
- 42:19So you have all these ideas that you like flirting with.
- 42:22And I think that I understand you cannot really commit because, listen, I can be only one
- 42:27operator.
- 42:28I cannot be operator of all these different things.
- 42:30And I know that you may say like, oh, well, but I will hire an operator.
- 42:33Yeah, sure.
- 42:34But why not having an operator that can put these things in motion, can help you bring
- 42:42your vision?
- 42:42Because you are the visionary.
- 42:44You're coming up with the idea.
- 42:45You have the knowledge.
- 42:46You can see what you want to achieve.
- 42:48but then you're faced with oh okay i need to start spending maybe you don't maybe you're because you
- 42:54get so excited you are happy to go and waste your energy on the operation side maybe right i don't
- 42:59think that's a good use of time i agree with you this is exactly what i mean is you are somehow
- 43:06going into the operations rather than being this is where i think that you need to be radical this
- 43:12is where i think that you need to get married rather than you're flirting you think that you're
- 43:17flirting this is my opinion okay you think that you are flirting with all these ideas and you need
- 43:22to get married with one idea i think that you are getting you are flirting with operation a little
- 43:27bit operation here preparation here preparation here even in the same thing your operation here
- 43:31operation here that's the flirting that you are doing i think that you need to get married
- 43:35with you being the visionary and literally be radical with zero operations so you can have one
- 43:42and because you have a lot of these different ideas and because it's a complicator i think
- 43:46that as a complicator, you can do several things at the same time, but you need a super strong
- 43:53operations person.
- 43:55That doesn't mean also, just to be clear, that this person is going to be
- 44:02running all these businesses.
- 44:03They can do one.
- 44:04Or they can do none of them, but they are your
- 44:07chief of staff, let's say.
- 44:09It's not the exact example, but they are your life integrator when
- 44:13it comes to business and philanthropy.
- 44:16Philanthropy being love for humanity.
- 44:18So things that can be charitable, things that are non-profit,
- 44:21things that are for profit.
- 44:23You're saying one that would integrate.
- 44:25You have a portfolio and your portfolio, you want to make moves and you have to
- 44:28be an operator doing the moves.
- 44:30Like what are you doing?
- 44:30Yeah.
- 44:31Get your, in EOS, they call it visionary and integrator.
- 44:35Get your integrator, get your operations expert, handle all the noise.
- 44:39It's powerful.
- 44:40And I think you're right.
- 44:41So we hired this amazing woman that starts January 5th to be running the house to backfill for the person we're hiring as we're going to be hiring as a chief staff.
- 44:51And I mean, you're so right.
- 44:53And I was so excited.
- 44:55We were trying to convince her not to take the job.
- 44:57I didn't even hire her.
- 44:58It was this person I said, you need to hire, fire.
- 45:01It's your choice.
- 45:02Finds this amazing Russian woman who most guess how many kids she was taking care of before us.
- 45:07She's going to start in January.
- 45:08Six.
- 45:09Eight.
- 45:10Wow.
- 45:10You're right, though.
- 45:11The family before that was six or vice versa.
- 45:14Maybe you're right.
- 45:14Maybe it's six now, but it was eight and six.
- 45:16As a babysitter, you mean?
- 45:18She would be babysitter, house cleaning, house organizing, school prep, food put away,
- 45:24maybe cooking a bit, just the whole life.
- 45:27So she relieves the other person to really free up.
- 45:30And you're right, because I think once you get that person, whether it's in a nonprofit,
- 45:33a business, a family, this kind of chief of staff with the freedom to really execute,
- 45:39it's like a drug.
- 45:40And I experienced that in the philanthropy in the last year, in the nonprofit, and in a business this last year.
- 45:45And it was amazing.
- 45:46And I could feel both of them were like, this is incredible.
- 45:49Like, I'd come in and I would say, it's like what you do.
- 45:52I give them, I say, your head's going to hurt after half an hour with me.
- 45:55And they're like, why?
- 45:56Because your brain's going to expand.
- 45:58Because I just come through and question everything, all these assumptions.
- 46:01I use different models I've seen, and we apply, and we pick like one thing they're going to do.
- 46:06And that just changes the course.
- 46:08Yeah, so that would be my advice.
- 46:10you don't have this person.
- 46:11And this is something, for example,
- 46:13with the podcast, right?
- 46:14I was speaking with,
- 46:16and like, hey, I just need,
- 46:18and then my brother said,
- 46:19okay, I'm going to be that person.
- 46:20Yes.
- 46:21Has she struggled with other things?
- 46:22Like, has that been too much for her to handle
- 46:24along with all of your other stuff?
- 46:26Regarding the podcast?
- 46:27Yeah.
- 46:28Like she's done a great job.
- 46:30I think that she mentioned multiple times
- 46:31that she's so excited about it.
- 46:34She is?
- 46:34Oh yeah.
- 46:35I know she loved the one episode with little Aaron.
- 46:38Yeah, she really likes it.
- 46:40she really likes the idea she really likes the whole thing so for her i mean so coming back to
- 46:46this what did that what did i do right i i am able to have a conversation with her and share the
- 46:51vision and i'm like this is this is the fundamental truth of what we are doing and i do not want to
- 46:58change this so as an example we said we just want to have fun we do not want this to feel like a
- 47:04a burden.
- 47:05And how do I know that this will never change?
- 47:08It's because, okay, let's flip it.
- 47:09Do I, will I ever want to wake up and say, you know what?
- 47:13This is too much fun.
- 47:14I just want to
- 47:15really have a horrible moment with this podcast.
- 47:18I want my life to start being miserable.
- 47:20Like,
- 47:21no, no, thank you.
- 47:23So that's how I know that that's, I hear a fundamental truth
- 47:26that that's not going to change.
- 47:28So I'm able to express these things to her.
- 47:30And then this is the interesting part, right?
- 47:32You saw me, I was doing WeChat GPT, okay, we need to hire this person.
- 47:35I'm just doing a little bit of brainstorming WeChat GPT.
- 47:38And then I share with her.
- 47:39And then she's like, well, I think that we should get an agency.
- 47:43And I'm like, me putting my hat as an operator, right?
- 47:46My hat as operator has holes, I get wet, it's heat, it makes me lose my hair.
- 47:52It's terrible, right?
- 47:53But for whatever reason, I put my operator hat and I am giving instructions like, no, no, no, listen, agency is this.
- 48:04And then, of course, she's an operator.
- 48:06And she is an operator for what we think.
- 48:10She's an operator complicator, but with an incredible skill to translate things in a very, very easy way.
- 48:17Incredible.
- 48:18She might be an operator to simplify.
- 48:19I honestly don't know.
- 48:20But she is incredible at making easy and simple.
- 48:25Because I would not be able to work with her if she communicates very complicated.
- 48:29Because I would not be able to understand.
- 48:31It would be like literally a headache.
- 48:33So she was right.
- 48:35She ended up finding incredible people.
- 48:39And we are working with them.
- 48:42And she did all the interviews?
- 48:44Yes, I tapped into my network.
- 48:46And I asked certain people that have podcasts.
- 48:48I got some referrals.
- 48:50She went find other people.
- 48:51She interviewed the whole thing.
- 48:53And then I did one interview and I'm like, yep, let's go.
- 48:57I got her feedback of all the other interviews and she felt very strong about this one.
- 49:02So I went already thinking like, okay, this, and also we had the reading from all of them,
- 49:08which the readings were pretty good.
- 49:10I really like a lot how honest, so it's Charlie and Derek, they're watching now.
- 49:15I really like how humble and how honest and how they gave me feedback.
- 49:21Charlie gave me feedback a couple of times on things that I believe to be true.
- 49:25And he's like, well, that's, you know, in a very good way.
- 49:30This can be the challenge on this and this is why this is not going to work.
- 49:33And they're incredible, spectacular.
- 49:38And I think that even though they don't have, I think this podcast is not very common.
- 49:45It's not a typical podcast because all podcasts usually are selling something.
- 49:49That being said, I think that this is a great moment to plug the robes that are a sponsor for this podcast.
- 49:56Robe made out of polyester and ball-shrinking nylon.
- 50:01And American flag, ball-shrinking Speedo.
- 50:05That is 100% cotton, right?
- 50:08Oh, Peter, come on.
- 50:09Just a peek.
- 50:11Not cotton.
- 50:11And the funny thing is the entire day I've had struggle wearing it because I'm like,
- 50:16this isn't good for me.
- 50:18But I think I'm done having kids.
- 50:19So maybe it's helping just cutting off.
- 50:20Oh, you have one more coming.
- 50:23One more coming.
- 50:24You just need to start.
- 50:25You need to start coming and then one more coming.
- 50:28I don't know what's going to happen in this bathing suit.
- 50:30So, okay.
- 50:32Coming back to, yeah, operator.
- 50:35I was trying to share.
- 50:36I was sharing the story, right, of what a game changer is to have one person
- 50:41where I can share my vision
- 50:43and the person gets excited with the vision
- 50:46and just runs with it.
- 50:48Did I tell you, I met with this venture capitalist,
- 50:49I think I said, and it's a flip.
- 50:52Yeah, we talked about it on a prior one,
- 50:53but he said, I will only pick a CEO that I invest in.
- 50:58They start new businesses
- 50:59when the CEO will do it without me.
- 51:01And I think it's the same as what you're just saying now,
- 51:03which is like, you can offer them this.
- 51:05Now, will they do it by yourself?
- 51:07Most operators won't, right?
- 51:08Because they can't see the...
- 51:11The example you said that I think is so powerful is they're so excited.
- 51:14They're like, I'm choosing this is what I want to do.
- 51:18I want this job.
- 51:19I want this role.
- 51:20I shared with her, and I think this is what happened, but I shared like, hey, I want to
- 51:25start writing books.
- 51:26And I shared that a little bit and she's like, oh my gosh, I'm so pumped.
- 51:31Yes.
- 51:32Wow.
- 51:33How far is she along on that?
- 51:35No, this was like, I shared it two days before she went on vacation.
- 51:38So no, nothing, zero.
- 51:40Wow.
- 51:41Yeah.
- 51:42It's so funny.
- 51:43I get a similar, and I even, I played with ChatGPT a bit on this,
- 51:47and it talked about doing series that got me excited on topics.
- 51:50So, but this is coming back to where I can just call and say, hey, listen,
- 51:56I want, I am thinking about this idea and I want to be able to have a person that says,
- 52:01okay, cool.
- 52:02Leave it with me.
- 52:02Let me just get back to you in two days, in three days,
- 52:04in one week, in one day to see how I'm like, okay, cool.
- 52:08So that way I only need to focus
- 52:10on creating the vision.
- 52:12That's what I want.
- 52:13I want to focus on creating the vision,
- 52:16pressing the accelerator,
- 52:17and protecting the vision.
- 52:19How I need to remove this dirty operator hat
- 52:24that I don't know why I have it.
- 52:26I don't know how I made it up.
- 52:27It's garbage.
- 52:28It's beautiful, man.
- 52:30It's a limiting belief, right?
- 52:32One limiting belief would be
- 52:33that I have to be the operator.
- 52:34The other limiting belief is
- 52:36I can't find an amazing operator,
- 52:38partner, person who can fill that role.
- 52:40And this is from strategic coaching, who not how.
- 52:43You always start with who, and then the how is up to them.
- 52:47And you can consult.
- 52:49I disagree.
- 52:49Why?
- 52:49Because I think that everything starts with the mindset.
- 52:52And I think that the biggest limiting belief is believing that I can do all in a great way when it comes to operations.
- 52:59And when I say all, what I mean is without me getting burned in the middle.
- 53:04I can get it done.
- 53:06Jesus is I'm gonna be wasting so much of my vital energy makes no sense zero sense I can hire a
- 53:14person that does this in an incredible way I end up winning the person ends up winning what am I
- 53:21doing okay so let me challenge it I still think it's who which is realizing I am not the who I
- 53:26have to break that mindset and I need to find the who before we move on to how and I see this all
- 53:32the time, people are like, well, you know, and, and it's so funny.
- 53:36They're like, well,
- 53:37we're going to do it this way.
- 53:38No, I don't want to talk about which way.
- 53:39I don't want to talk
- 53:39about how let's start with who, and you're saying for, I agree with you.
- 53:44I think you're right.
- 53:44Yeah.
- 53:44But the question is, who are you having this conversation with?
- 53:47Right.
- 53:47This conversation
- 53:48about shouldn't be me myself.
- 53:50And if it's, if it's by myself, I've already decided I am the,
- 53:53who that's the wrong decision.
- 53:55We agree.
- 53:56So let's, it's actually not two steps.
- 53:58It's three steps.
- 53:59First step is I am not the who.
- 54:01Finding who the who is, then letting them decide the how
- 54:05through conversations or whatever.
- 54:06That's really the three parts.
- 54:07Yeah, but what I am saying is I think that in the stage that you are right now, which is
- 54:12finding what's your vehicle, your next vehicle of creation, right now you have a challenge,
- 54:18which is you are flirting with a lot of ideas.
- 54:22The job of finding the who is on you.
- 54:25And what
- 54:25What I am saying is you should already have one who, and the job of this person is to
- 54:33be able to ping pong with you.
- 54:36So I'm going to be like, okay, Peter, now I understand your vision.
- 54:39Okay, get it.
- 54:40Leave it with me.
- 54:41Let's let's rock and roll.
- 54:43Let's let me let me share with you a little bit of how I am.
- 54:45I'm gonna let me think about it.
- 54:47Let me come back and tell you, hey, Peter, this is the strategy.
- 54:49This is what I want to do.
- 54:50I want to start myself doing a little bit more just to see if then we bring the person
- 54:54or let's bring the person right now,
- 54:57rather than you doing all that brain damage,
- 55:00coming up with a strategy,
- 55:01the strategy is basically how.
- 55:05How do we achieve the vision?
- 55:06And they should be driving that,
- 55:07and I can challenge it, have thoughts,
- 55:10but let them pick.
- 55:12I mean, it's deep, man.
- 55:15Brother, love you.
- 55:16I gotta go.
- 55:18Love you, man.
- 55:19Cheers.
