- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: The Start Me Up podcast is independent and woman run.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: I offer a show every Tuesday just for patrons called What's Up, where I get a little more personal and talk about whatever's on my mind.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: I also offer an ad free tier with a much shorter intro.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: Just visit patreon.com slash start me up.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Look at the different tiers and support the show today.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_01]: Now please enjoy my conversation with Sarah Wood.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to the show, Sarah.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for having me back.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: So do you have explosive diarrhea yet?
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm just kidding.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: No, I haven't.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: I did at my nephew's party.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't drink alcohol anymore.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I had a way too many Coca-Cola's in an adult should have.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: And my body didn't necessarily agree with that, but that's as far as I'll get into that store.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, yeah, I'm so angry.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: I posted last night a joke that was like, let us give you explosive diarrhea.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: Ice cream pasta and chocolate doesn't.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: And somebody, you know, like with a little smile face, and somebody had to quote tweet me and say how it made them so I rate.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm assuming that if they said, you know, I know we need to have humor, but this is terrible, and they called it genocide, and I'm like,
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if they were angry at me if they're making a no for making the joke and I totally understand that there are people in this country that you know have to eat a certain way and this is very difficult.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: If you can't get your fresh vegetables and they're important, but you know what you can get frozen vegetables and you can get canned vegetables and you can still you know get fucking metamusol if you need your fiber.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: So this is just something that's happening temporarily exactly the government's fault, but at the same time it's not and it's not killing people.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, if you get it, it's not fun.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_01]: Although I will remind everybody, it is a parasite.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_01]: So go, like if you start getting explosive diarrhea, then you need to go to the doctor and you need to tell them all the information.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever is working at the CDC, whatever little tiny fucking office is working over there, they can,
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: track as much as they can.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, but you can, you can go to, I think like you can go to, what do you call it like farmers markets and stuff because they know.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: I believe that it's human fecal matter, which is the issue.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so that's a really shitty situation.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: No kidding, so you know, you eat shit and then you have explosive diarrhea.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, you can like go to a local farmer's market where you know, there's not going to be human fecal or at least you hope there isn't going to be and And wash and wash your veggies too.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I mean, you can you if you cook them that really helps and then you know, too.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: You can get frozen and just do with some, you eat a lot of broccoli for a little while.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's not going to, you know, it's not the worst thing in the world.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what we did last night.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we did last night.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we're like broccoli.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: We'll do broccoli.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so before we get started and I'm just going to tell all of my listeners to my show what's up.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to hear way more about this next Tuesday, but I'm going to touch on it now and I posted it yesterday and I just I'm going to share this dream that I had because I think it's kind of a metaphor for what's happening to us right now and you know what I'm going to share in my what's up, which is like I said I do this every Tuesday and it's for patrons only.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: I usually talk about.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: who we are beyond the human personality.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's, I'm not super spiritual, but I do talk about spiritual stuff, but I'm not like the most, I don't know, I'm not one of these, like the reason I got into it in the first place is because I wanted my life to feel better and I wanted to,
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: like figure it out better.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I never got into this because I thought, I want to be spiritually awake.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think like that.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: It was like, I just want my life to be easier and I want to deal with things better.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: So I kind of like was led to this and okay, so I'm just going to explain the dream and then I'm going to explain what I think it means with all the stuff that I've been working on for the past six years, I'm trying to handle my life better.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, I first part of the dream
- 4:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'm in this home.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what home it is, but I'm in a home.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm in a living room and there's a terrible, terrible storm outside.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: And inside the living room, it's kind of dark.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: There were no lights on.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: The curtains were closed.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: And it was, you could see that outside was red.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: It was like so scary that it was red.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: And like a tornado was going to come.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so I remember crouching behind the couch and I was really calm and I thought maybe I should go down to the basement.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_01]: And then I don't really remember what happened after that.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: It was a very short little dream.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: I never went down to the basement, but that's all I really remember and I felt calm.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_01]: And then, okay, now this is the weird part.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: So it was like eight o'clock in the morning and I'm still like I'm still in bed and I like wake up and I'm thinking okay I got to get up now and but I was so you know how what you're so comfortable and you just don't want to move because you're like in the perfect position and you just feel so good and so that's where I was and I woke up and I had that awareness so like I fall back into sleep.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: And then I immediately start this dream where I'm in an airplane and it just turns upside down in midair and I hear everything.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: I hear the creaking of the plane, you know, all the shits flying around in the cabin.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not afraid at all what's happening is I'm realizing that I'm laying there in that really comfortable position that I had just kind of acknowledged in my awake time like I'm so comfortable and I somehow that correlated in the dream, but I was in the airplane and I was that comfortable and as the plane was literally plummeting to the earth.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: So I could feel it.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: I could see it.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: It was very real.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I could like look out the window and I could see earth getting closer and I was super calm.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't afraid at all.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought, oh, okay, I guess this is my time.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: And then.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: something happened, I black out like there was like time lost.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: And then the next thing I remember is that the plane, I guess like maybe the captain had taken some control of the plane.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: And we were still heading toward Earth, but it was slower.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_01]: And I think I remember the feeling was was like, oh, you know, like when we were barreling into the earth, it was just going to be easy, crash burn over.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: like, is this going to be more difficult?
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: Am I going to get hurt?
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I wasn't scared.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's almost like I was asking it with no emotion.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: A little bit of concern, but really nothing.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_01]: And then that was the dream.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think Bob woke me up.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so, of course, anybody waking up from that dream, you're like, oh my god, I just dream that I was plummeting to earth in an airplane, but I was never scared.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: So it wasn't a nightmare.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I genuinely believe, and this is why I'm telling everybody this because what I've been learning to do, especially in this last year, as, you know, when things feel chaotic, whether it's in my personal life or in political or whatever, what I do is I kind of go through this like observer mode, where I observe myself, I observe what's happening and I say, okay.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: I get that I feel this way, but it's not who I am.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't have to think because I feel afraid right now that that has to mean anything about who I am or what's gonna happen.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I allow myself to feel my fear, but I won't feed it.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: I won't keep feeding the story.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes your mind really wants to, though.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_01]: So when it really, really wants to, I just keep reminding it.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's like recalibrate, recalibrate, recalibrate.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to feed you.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: If I find myself feeding it, I stop.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: And then the best thing to do in that case, even if you're feeling like shit, because you're upset about what you're seeing is if there's nothing you can do, divert your attention, try to get your attention.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: I always like, I think the best way to describe this is people who have quit smoking, you know, when you have that fucking
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: cigarette voice in your head, smoke a cigarette, smoke a cigarette.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_01]: I want a cigarette.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: You have to fucking get away from it because if you don't, you will give into it.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: So it's the same kind of advice.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's just it's literally taking some control of your own mind and saying, okay, you get to feel whatever you feel.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't have to bite into this.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I just wanted to put that out there because yeah, it seemed like a scary dream, but the more I thought about it all day yesterday, I just thought, you know what this, this is a message to me that during chaotic times, I'm going to be okay.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just going to trust that doesn't mean sit back and do nothing.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: but don't try to force anything, do what feels natural, do what you feel inspired to do, but don't try to change everything, and don't assume the worst.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: So many times people assume the worst, and you can just as easily assume the best.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't know what's going to happen, it's your choice to assume the worst.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so off my fucking cell box, but I just wanted to share that.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: it's great.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: No, I think you are takeaway from that was what the takeaway I was going to give you was which was basically like your like even through chaos you were still calm.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that that's I think that's a really powerful message.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean obviously every day like yesterday was such a, I didn't even really pay attention to politics yesterday.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean that's like the I thought about that at the end of the day.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: I thought, oh my god, this is like the first date since
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I wasn't focused in on any of the stories because I had a lot of shit going on that I was focused on outside of paying attention to everything else.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I mean, it's like sometimes we hear the news.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: But now, this is going to bring me to what's happening now.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I'm still on.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think you and I are on the same fucking page.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think despite all this crazy, horrible shit we're seeing, I actually feel good.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: And one of the reasons I feel, I'm gonna ask you about this, but one of the reasons I feel good is because I just saw Tele Rico in the polls is ahead of Paxton.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: And now before all the may sayers come in and go, but it's success.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's Texas.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: But this, this is a different time.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: These are, you know, this is not better who came very close.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Talariko is like, oh my god, he's so much better for Texas than better was.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's, yeah, I think he's gonna win.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's gonna win.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: I honestly do.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's my gut feeling on this.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think he has what it takes to win Texas.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: And I think Paxon is like really shitty candidate too, so I think.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think the odds are in our favor.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: It really makes me feel good.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: I think that, yeah, like Trump tonight is gonna go present his fucking case to the world about how, you know, 2020 is stolen and he's gonna lay out his plans to steal 26 and I know.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: So many Democrats out there are gonna be like, oh my God, we're doomed.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: Now we're not,
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, we're not.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to fuck around, but he cannot fuck around.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's way harder to cheat in a midterm and it is for one vote, you know, one can it.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Presidents.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's easier to fix.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: But it is, and I don't like saying that, but it's true.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's much harder, and you know, a lot of these, uh, precincts
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: whatever, I can't think of what it's called, but, you know, what he was accused of of changing votes.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: He can't do it because those terminals or whatever they're called are closed.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: Now, maybe he could do it in red states.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe red states, you know, red states are red states.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: But I just think, I mean, don't you have the strongest feeling that these fucking midterms are going to be a massive blowout for the Democrats?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: I do think that what he's trying to do is so distrust and make people not show up to vote.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: And low voter turnout means Republicans win.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he's they're going to do what he means Democrats.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm sorry.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: Low voter opinions Democrats.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jesus fucking Christ.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: I, my house is getting painted so I'm in my office with no air conditioning.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, so my brain wasn't working right there.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so Democrats win low voter turnout.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think he's just trying to like make people just not want to vote and I don't know what he's trying to do like.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_00]: I just can't with that guy.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: I, every, I'm just like, what the fuck?
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then Lindsey Graham dies, and I'm just like, I'm not laughing at Lindsey Graham dying.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm laughing at the fact that they're, they're just hitting some really bad times in the GOP.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: They are.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, karma bitch.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know what's going on with Mitch McConnell.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, easy.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: I saw somebody say regular tortoise, and I don't.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I saw, that was fucking awesome.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: There was, yeah, it was rigotortists and there was something else with tortoise in it.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: But, okay, this is what I think, I don't know if I'm making here that fucking car alarm and it's on me, so sorry until they turn it off.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, yeah, I don't believe that picture.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was an AI picture that they put out in a conno.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I absolutely don't believe it's funny because there's a psychic woman that I have a new one.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_01]: I found her on YouTube and she talks about politics and I like her because she reminds me of it's like it's that I've called and trusted in the past.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know anything about this woman, but I do know she's been correct because she's got several videos up.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: She didn't start that long ago, but
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, she made a couple of predictions in the spring, and they turned out to be true.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, it's a couple other things.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know, there's never going to be a psychic who gets everything right.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: But what she said was she had predicted back in, I don't know, earlier this year, she said there was going to be a prominent,
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I don't think she said Senator about like a prominent political figure that was going to have a hard attack and that that that that the and it was going to be Republican and that they were going to hide it.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think I don't know for sure it was Republican, but for sure they were going to hide it.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: And.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to think, oh, and then she said, so she, when she focused on Mitch McConnell, she said she felt as if like there was a tube down us throat and I'm trying to get these stories right because I know, okay, yeah, there was a tube down us throat and she said that she learned because she looked it up.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: She psychically felt there was the tube so she looked up why there might be a tube and it was something about congestive, I think it was no cardiac arrest, which I think is slightly different than a heart attack, but either way.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: Whatever she had picked up on earlier this year, it's happening now with Mitch McConnell and she said, she doesn't feel that that photo is real either.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't feel that it was real as soon as it's hot.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, now I didn't give off all the AI, but yeah.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and I mean, I'm not saying she's psychic to say that, you know, maybe that was just her personal opinion, but she did not feel that, but it was just interesting to me to hear that and you know, it's funny because what she said about Lindsey Graham, she didn't feel there was anything nefarious going on and that whatever happened with his heart, she felt was a legit thing, but she did say, I mean, and take it with a grain of salt because you know, but she did say that.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: when they were going, you know, whoever officials were going through his shit that they found some polar rights.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: Now, she didn't go into detail, but who would be surprised?
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody would be surprised.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, as I think I told
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it was you or somebody.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: I know I think I told Stephanie my friend on the show, but it's like, and I'll say it now since I won't get sued for it because he's no longer with us.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I had talked to somebody who worked on the hill back in the day, years ago.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess it was like an open secret and everyone knew that Lindsey Graham was picking up underage mail prostitutes.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like, do we, do we give this shit about that?
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: It was the underage, it's the other stuff.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no one cares that you're gay to.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we all know.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_00]: So it had to, it had to have been something else.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: So, right.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: And, and, you know, I mean, do I know that's true?
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, but I know the person who told me that, and that this person usually doesn't share gossip with me.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: And, and this was years and years ago.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I mean, I, again, I can't prove it.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that it's true.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: but this is what I heard.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, and as far as Lindsay's concerned, you know, the second lady had said she had picked up on Pock, I can't remember what it was, but oh, fatty liver.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, he was an alcoholic.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's she had made comment about that.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: And she's she's like, I'm not a doctor.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: I got fatty liver.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he was an alcoholic bubble.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: So whatever, again, grain of salt.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: But it was just like, and so what she said was she thinks we're going to have a democratic president in 2028.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: She thinks that, oh, another thing she said, and I'm asking her to clarify that she's doing a show this weekend.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: But she said that,
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: that Trump would, okay, this was the confusing part.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: She said, Trump would be able to appoint one more Supreme Court justice.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: However, this was what's confusing.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: It sounded as if, and I asked her just to be clear on this, it sounded as, like, he's going to try to nominate someone and it's not going to happen.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody's going to accept it.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_01]: So he will be able to nominate another, but it won't be his first choice.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: Will this person, I think, is this going to be another full blown fascist?
- 18:56[SPEAKER_01]: And since you're saying we're getting a democratic president, she does think we're winning the midterms, will we be expanding the court?
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be interesting what she says there.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I mean, I think it'll suck ass if, yeah, he does get to replace someone else.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_01]: But he's not going to replace, I mean, it's, you know, if we're able to get reforms in and change the age
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's only going to replace another fascist.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know what I mean?
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think it would be a Lido next, honestly.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not like it would change the balance of the court.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: It'd just be a younger person.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it would just mean that he got he himself got to a point four, four Supreme Court justices, which is just the sponsor since so discussing.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's so awful.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just, I hate it so much.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't know, man.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's, you know, it's like, went when, and I'm not saying Alito's dying.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying he's probably going to stop telling me.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm telling.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I meant by that.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: And when I thought it was funny because on Sunday morning, um, you know, I hear from the bathroom,
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I found out.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: You want to know how we found out?
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's a funny story.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: So our dog peaked in the middle of the night.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: And she woke up and she peaked.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_00]: And then we were like, oh, God, that's gross.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then I looked at my phone.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, Lindsey Graham died.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: And my wife was like, what?
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, yeah.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_00]: And that was pretty much just every actually.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think our dog woke up, maybe she's Republican.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't think so.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_00]: She does, she is like a cop though.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: But she, but she, yeah, she let us know.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, okay, so then did you see that?
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know the Republicans name, but the Sarah is like winning by 60 Some percent over the Republican 30 something percent in California.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: Not entirely surprising, but good to know
- 21:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I just, you know, like, I keep seeing all these positive things.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now, now I want to talk about Platner.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't, you know, look, he's out, right?
- 21:14[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: But I just want to say yes.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: I call this shit from the big dinner.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_00]: Summer 2025, everyone was like, this guy's from Central Coast and look at him.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, we couldn't have a better candidate.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: And he's just a giant walking red flag.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: Had a basic op-o research, and I was like, no, this is not the guy.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: And then I just had to wait for the everyone else to catch up.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and so I want to kind of bring this back to the democratic ears who like to turn everything into doom and it's obviously like with swallowing and with platner it's upsetting right especially like for me I didn't like platner, but I stayed quiet because I just thought you know what.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: whatever this is this is like trying to argue about the fucking Middle East no matter what point no matter where you stand someone's going to fucking hate on you and i just don't have the time so i thought this is up to me even though he's would be a senator and his vote would impact me who does not live in Maine this is up for people from Maine to decide yes so um that's kind of how i left it and then when he became the nominee i was disappointed but i thought all right we got to get behind this guy
- 22:27[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I was like, I hate him, but he's got to win.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's got to, I mean, Charlotte Clymer wrote this whole piece.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_01]: And she, everything she said was accurate.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_01]: You know, she was like, look, nobody is in the military.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't know what that fucking tattoo is.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: And the other thing that I wasn't aware of until after all this should happen was that I guess prior to going into the military, he was declaring how he couldn't wait to go over and kill people.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_01]: So that's really fucking bad.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's how I don't even know how anybody allowed that.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: And then you know, I remember when
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, what's your name?
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Who I love?
- 23:08[SPEAKER_01]: Let's Elizabeth Warren endorsed him.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: I know fucking Allison Gill was really pissed because she like tweeted out her and she's like, shame on you.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: And so anyway, you know, then this whole thing happens and it's awful awful and then the worst part of it though is all the fucking men defending him.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_00]: I have one.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: I literally had a guy say like, oh, we should be going up to the victims too.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: I said, like, literally, I was like, what's?
- 23:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what don't they come out sooner?
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, go last Dolores where to that.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you didn't come out.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like, sometimes it's more dangerous for women to do that.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_00]: So like, these men are just living their own little privilege.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_00]: I can go off.
- 23:46[UNKNOWN]: All right, all right, all right.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Bubbles of just like, ooh, so the guy, it's like, why don't you acknowledge that the guy you like is an asshole?
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: Because, yeah, they just can't do it.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, it's all meant.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I have seen a few, but maybe about when they dig their heels in.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: And it tells me all I need to know about those men who are defending that.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, no, no.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, and then they start screaming about due process.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, you know what?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: This has nothing.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_01]: This is not due process.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: This is about a fucking candidacy.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_01]: that he's not in court he's in the court of public opinion right now and that's what happens in public opinion and so yeah he could go to court and he will get due process but he doesn't get due process in the court of public opinion and and look I mean
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: The whole thing with Tara read, when she accused Joe Biden, it was like, my first, the first thing I thought was, oh, no, oh, no, because I took her seriously.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't automatically believe her.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: I just took what you said seriously and I thought we got a listen to this woman and we got to hear her story and I didn't want to.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: I was terrified.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_01]: But everything she said turned out to be a fucking lie and now she lives in Russia.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: Her story fell apart.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: She didn't have any corroborating, you know, evidence or people nothing.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_01]: And all these love letters to Putin.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_01]: And so it was like, all right, your story is just, and really what, what done her in was the pantyhose that she wasn't wearing pantyhose in the 90s at the hell.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, she was.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody, if you're at the hell,
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: In the 90s, I was working at the Broadway department starting California in the 90s, and it was mandatory.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_00]: And if you have everybody wore pantyhose in the 90s.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: And you had to, and if you got a rip in your pantyhose, then you just had to suffer all day with the rip in your fucking pantyhose because you weren't allowed to show your bare fucking legs.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: So that was a, and then of course there was also the fact that she was supposedly in this very busy part of, I don't, you know, whatever it's called in the building and like, yeah, he's like raping her in the hallway with everybody walking by and made no sense.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: So we listen to Tara read and we're like, no, we don't believe you.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: But then, and I do think when it's a political thing, no matter what, no matter who it is, we should always take the person who says they've been harmed seriously.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: And we also have to understand in a political environment, people are going to lie.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be, and it's usually on the right, it's usually on the right, but we have to know that there's going to be some shady business going on every once in a while.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_01]: And so this woman, though, who went after Graham Platner or accused of my should say, she had corroborating evidence.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: She was very, she had, I think, like, stuck to her therapist.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_01]: emails from her boyfriend or two her boyfriend she had a lot yeah so you know and the thing is is honestly I'll bet you that it sounds like he was blackout drunk he probably doesn't remember doing it that doesn't excuse it no it's pretty that's very true yeah no I can't believe it remember it yeah so and so if he's saying I didn't do it then you know he may believe that he didn't do it
- 27:03[SPEAKER_01]: because he doesn't remember it.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, it's just I think, though, I think.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_01]: So, like you said, and I saw a lot of people on my Facebook page, a lot of people, Alison Gil, lots of people did not like this guy.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, once he became the candidate, just like, all right, I'm just not even going to fucking deal with people who hate him.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: I know you hate him.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: I don't like him either,
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is actually a good thing.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it came out in enough time, it's main, it's not the presidency.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_01]: There's a couple of people in Maine who have really high profile names and they're running.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that there's an app, even though Graham Platner's numbers were good and he had a charismatic message, I don't know if he would have won or not.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: But I think we, I think we do have the better option now.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's a better option for everybody.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_01]: And hopefully the Democrats learned whatever they need to learn, and this is not me attacking them.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes we all make mistakes, right?
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a shame, it's not bad to make a mistake.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's like when you're playing fucking football,
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: You go over your play and go, okay, what do we do right?
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: What do we do wrong?
- 28:14[SPEAKER_01]: What can we do to improve next time?
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I hope that that is a conversation that's being had by everybody who blindly got behind this guy.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, that was like after after 2024 and they're all like we need to just run white men everywhere to appeal to white men and I'm like so you want to lean into the problem I get it right okay that sounds like a plan Don't get me I swear to fucking god here's the thing with Graham too is the fact that this wasn't even the October surprise can you imagine like there's probably god yeah there's probably more Oh, yes, there's probably more absolutely I mean the way and then and then his victim hood
- 28:53[SPEAKER_00]: with his, you know, God, everybody, 10 minute video, just being like, I literally posted a screenshot and that was like how to spot a narcissist because I was like, Jesus Christ, like, it's like, to your God, like, no one married that man.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's married, but no one married that man.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's awful.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: It's awful.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: And now now we're going to move over to, um,
- 29:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, so what is he gonna do with low-t people?
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: Like is that is it like is it like gender mandatory gender conforming stuff where like he gives t to people or yeah or is it just how he's trying to get women out of the military I'm wondering well he could give women a bunch of test
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's going to get a lot of acne and lose their hair though, but yeah, I mean, yes, that's what he hates women.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_01]: But it's yeah, it's gender affirming care.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: It is.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's, you know, hello, that's that's what.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: Transmentec.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: I take fucking testosterone.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: I take it.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's yeah, people need it.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, I mean, it really helps.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_01]: It really fucking helps.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't take a lot of it, but I, you know, I, of course, I use the cream and my doctor.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's all, you know, bio identical and all that.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Or actually, I don't think testosterone is bio identical.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: But, um, either way, it's just,
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: It makes a difference and it's it's gender affirming in that it helps me it's not about like my breasts or my vagina or anything, but you know, it's it keeps me feeling more energetic in fact, I remember last year I was, oh my god, I thought I was dying I felt so bad the quality of my life was poor I had no energy.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: I was depressed, everything hurt.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: And I uped my father said, well, maybe up your testosterone.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_01]: And at first I was like, that's not going to do anything.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_01]: And then I thought, well, let me just give it a try.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I uped it because I had actually taken it upon myself to lower my own dose.
- 31:09[SPEAKER_01]: And so I just wasn't getting enough.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then when I uped it, it was like,
- 31:14[SPEAKER_01]: almost immediately, I felt better.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_01]: I felt like a normal person again.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_01]: So it really does, you know, it has nothing to do with my gender per se, other than the fact that I'm a woman in menopause, and I don't have testosterone, or I'm not making very much testosterone.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: So the little boost that I get helps me with my energy and clarity, so I don't have like as much brain fog.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but yeah, so anyway, but yeah, that's what they're doing.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: They hate trans people and they don't want to give trans people gender affirming care, but they're just going to like, what are they going to make it mandatory?
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: Are they going to force people to take testosterone?
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: Is I don't even know, I just, I've just seen the rumors.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know if it's like something that I have been mandatory?
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: I have no idea.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_00]: I need to look more into it.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's the whole, this whole thing is just, it's like a sketch, it's, and it just, yeah.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's like all the fucking lonely, sad boys yelling.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, it's the he men, women haters club.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're just, they're so, they're so angry at everybody.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, why?
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: Jesus Christ, you're on top.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: unbelievable.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: But do you hear about Massey as what Massey is doing?
- 32:26[SPEAKER_00]: with the funding, is that what you're talking about?
- 32:28[SPEAKER_01]: He is introducing Epstein Files Transparency Act, too.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: A bill to give states, yeah, and this just came out.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: A bill to give states, AG's, DA's, authorized state officers and victims, the right to sue the DOJ for unlawfully withholding, redacting, delaying, concealing, removing, or failing to publish Epstein related.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: records.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I like it.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: But again, Massey.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and you know what I want to ask you though.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: I want to ask you this.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_01]: What is the fucking reason?
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: Why, okay, I get that Kentucky is red and Mitch McConnell, okay, let's just say Mitch McConnell is brain dead right now, dead or brain dead, which is basically the same, but like either machine is keeping
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: If I guess the rule is, if it's before August 3rd, then they have to have a special election.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: If it's announced that he's dead on August 3rd or after, then they're not gonna have a special election because it's too close to the midterms and everybody's saying that's what they want, right?
- 33:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I heard that it was the reason is because of Massey, because people, the Republicans are afraid Massey's gonna get in and take over from a comment.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, okay, it would still have to be a special election.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_01]: There's going to be an election in November that they can't stop.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_01]: So whoever wins the special election is going to be in that seat for like five minutes.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: Why are they so hell bent?
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: What is the reason?
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what is it because it's just a short little period of time?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_01]: They still have the special election to even pick someone.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: So like, I seriously don't know, like, that makes me wonder, is there something going on that we don't, of course, there is, but like, is there something going on that we don't know?
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: But, is it that there are afraid, mass is gonna vote a certain way or do something?
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, what is it?
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: Why are they not letting us know about McConnell?
- 34:38[SPEAKER_00]: I know, it's really scared, it's,
- 34:41[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't make sense to me.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't make any sense.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_01]: I know they like I said that the governor Andy Bashir is a Democrat, but it's fucking Kentucky and they voted for Mitch McConnell forever.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_01]: So it's, I mean, it's a safe, I mean, this is a seat really that in danger of being taken over by, I don't even know who, Thomas Mass, I don't even know who.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then they're fucking appointing Lindsey Graham sister oh my god that it's like a monarchy it's like they're like oh the next and nine the next bloodline you you'll become the next center to it's so odd it's very very legal yeah it's legal it's like why aren't personal why aren't you holding a special election yeah and also like you have more qualified individuals in your state
- 35:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know, it doesn't make any sense.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like what, but it doesn't make any sense.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's like something happens to my brother and they make me the teacher of his class, or like that's the point.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I, and that's I'm such a smaller scale and would be just as like weird.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's just ridiculous.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_01]: How can they even, like, I'm seriously asking, is it even legal that they can do this?
- 35:54[SPEAKER_01]: But that doesn't make any sense.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's like why didn't Hunter Biden just become president then?
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, like he could have stepped down and said, yeah, Hunter's gonna take my place now.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I don't understand it.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: These people, it's driving me nuts.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: And we know tonight, Donald Trump's gonna say all these fucking lies, he's gonna go away.
- 36:16[SPEAKER_01]: And it's gonna be on corporate media and they're not even gonna fucking fact check him.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_01]: I hope MS now does, I hope they do.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: I won't watch them, but I'm not watching him.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: Poor Bob, I don't know if Bob's going to watch him.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: Bob watches everything he does.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: I won't do it.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: I won't do it.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'll just get everybody's take on it after I can't fucking watch him.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: They can't make me fucking.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_01]: I want to kill people.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll probably be watching like a WMBA game or something.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_00]: I can't.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can't with that man.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather have explosive diarrhea.
- 36:47[SPEAKER_00]: I would rather have exposed like my colonoscopy prep is more delightful.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, and then did you hear a hundred Democrats voted to end funding for Israel?
- 37:00[SPEAKER_01]: I did, I saw that.
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: That's amazing.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to be clear about this because, you know, I try to not get into this fight, because no matter what you say, again, people are going to decide that you're anti-Semitic or that you hate Palestinians or whatever.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, I don't fucking, I, all I want is for peace, right?
- 37:25[SPEAKER_01]: So I understand that, you know, the hummus or whatever.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_01]: They did what they did and people died and then the way that Israel and I'm not going to say Israel the way that What's his fucking name?
- 37:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why I can't think of his name.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's him It is it's his their Trump.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like we can talk about like when people talk about like America We could talk about Americans like no talk about our leadership our shitty leadership.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's the same with Israel like they have really shitty leadership
- 37:59[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_01]: And what we do as people, like for instance, we know Florida is a red state.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: So we're just going to refer to it as a red state.
- 38:08[SPEAKER_01]: But clearly we know blue voters live there.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, not everybody who lives there is a Republican or fascist.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, so that's kind of like when you say Israel.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: You're not necessarily meaning the people of Israel and you're not necessarily meaning Jewish people per se, you're just like I don't think like I think Israel should have been able to defend itself a hundred percent, but I think what Netanyahu is choosing to do.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm not going to get too much into it, but I disagree with it.
- 38:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I do think they should be able to protect themselves and I have no problem with that.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like it's over and above and he wants to stay in office because he's a criminal just like Trump.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: And saying Benjamin Netanyahu is a criminal does not mean that you are anti-Semitic.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't mean that you don't love the people from Israel or Jewish people or anything.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: I can have no fucking problem with them.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: I have no problem.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: I have no problem with
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: No matter where you are and what color you are, yes, obviously, I have a problem with Palestinian terrorists, but I don't have a problem with the Palestinian people because they're just fucking people and they just wanna live like everybody else.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: And the Middle East is the Middle East and they've got their whole just stalled and how they think and it's very different than what I think they have different religion, they have different perspectives, it's not, people can argue all day better or worse.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even think of it, it's just different.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: other.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_01]: In a negative way, they're just, they have different culture.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know a problem with their fucking culture, as long as they don't fuck me over.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's like, that's the way you want.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's just like freedom of religion in this country.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, it's like, you have the freedom to practice your religion, as long as you're not harming people, you have the freedom to practice what you choose and how you choose.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that's why we're not a Christian nation, where you can be a Christian in this nation and you're free to practice that, practice your religion, pray,
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: you can do all those things, but you can't enforce that on other people, and that's where the problem comes.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can't force it, and then it's like all these people, when I wished it was last year, I think it was just on, like,
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: I guess when the war broke out and I just said I'm sending love to all of my Jewish friends and family and I have a lot of Jewish family immediate family and I got this email from this guy I won't say his name, but he's got a pretty significant following.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: And he was so mean to me and he was just like basically accusing me of hating everyone in Palestine and being such a horrible person.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, oh my god, because I wish my Jewish friends and family love this makes this means I hate Palestinians.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck you.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's no sense of nuance.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's like there's black and there's white and there's no gray.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's it's it's.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when the world refers to the United States as a pariah or whatever, I have fucking agree.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: Our leadership has turned us into that.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think the entire world knows that the world thinks what the fuck is wrong with you, America, for voting for him, and unfortunately, enough people did vote to merit that question.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_01]: But still, I know he cheated in everything.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: They always cheat.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: They always cheat though.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: I get it.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_01]: We are, we're having a hard time in this country and we're fucking up.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_01]: And it's, you know, it's, it's reverberating throughout the globe.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_01]: And I just feel like, how can I say this?
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: Um,
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: I understand when another country is going to look and say, what the fuck is wrong with you, America?
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to get super offended because I know what they're talking about.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_01]: They're talking about what Donald Trump and the Republican fascists are doing.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_01]: They're not talking about what people are, you know, the people in the streets who are protesting, you know, I was really, it was hardening to see as soon as that man in Maine was killed by ICE, immediately protest started.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: Immediately, that same day.
- 42:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's a big fucking deal.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that that's another indicator for what's going to happen in November.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: And I know that they're going to try really hard to intimidate us and scare us and all that shit.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: But I go right back to my dream.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's like just fucking ignore the chaos.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: You can ignore it.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: You can choose to
- 42:36[SPEAKER_01]: decide that it's not going to scare you, I don't mean ignore it and pretend nothing's happening.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, yeah, ignore the fear, ignore the bullshit because it doesn't have to affect us in the way in our worst case scenario fear.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_01]: I swear to God, I know I think I said this last year and so I'm very
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: cognizant of the fact that I thought Kamala was going to win.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_01]: And so I say everything with a grain of salt.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_01]: But I do think we're going to win because America is pissed.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_01]: Americans are pissed.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_01]: And we're uncomfortable.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_01]: And that's when people act, and we've been seeing it, I mean, we've been seeing it in the primaries, we've been seeing it in the special elections.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: I know there was a black woman in, I think it's South Carolina, and she just won some mayor of whatever, and I don't know where it was, and it was a very small turnout, right?
- 43:32[SPEAKER_01]: But she won it by 37 points.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's incredible.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: So obviously, you know, and I, there was some community know, it was on Facebook and it's just like, it was like, well, I think a Republican wrote this community note because it was basically saying, because I know Trump had won by, I don't know, maybe like 20%, 20, 24.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_01]: And, um,
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: They had said that it was really small election and that there was nowhere on the ballot.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_01]: Could you tell if it was a Democrat or a Republican?
- 44:02[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm going to tell you right now.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody who voted for her for the black woman, knew her own, and self-correlated.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: Seriously, that's just a cop-out because they were like, oh, dude, no, like, I can't, I can't.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: And by 37 points,
- 44:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it was a small number but it doesn't matter.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_01]: Every fucking vote counts and that was a huge margin and I just we just keep saying it we keep saying it and I'm just really I'm just really so grateful I'm just grateful because I think I think we're turning it around but it's still it's still going to be miserable, you know, we still have misery and
- 44:39[SPEAKER_01]: horrible things.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, stay strong during this.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: Be fucking strong.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_01]: Don't be the weak ass.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they're going to win.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're doomed.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: Then you're just playing right into their hands and you're giving them the win.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: Don't give it to them.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly, okay, so I'm going to start wrapping this up although I do want to I want to have some fun things and I want to ask you that you watch did you you watch Ted last so right.
- 45:08[SPEAKER_01]: I watched like the first two season oh that's right you're not like the big Ted also so that's coming out that's going to be on I guess fifth season I believe season four so Bob and I are watching once again we're going through it.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_01]: so we can be all refreshed.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_01]: But did you know that there is a new little house on the prairie?
- 45:30[SPEAKER_01]: I saw that I actually started watching the first episode.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, did you like it?
- 45:33[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't seen it yet.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's good.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's good.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: It has the same kind of like low energy vibe that the first one had.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like I was a little house in the prairie kid.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like my mom had me reading the books.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_00]: We watched the show.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like I was lower angles, lower angles.
- 45:47[UNKNOWN]: So, you know, yeah, Paul.
- 45:48[UNKNOWN]: It's
- 45:54[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's really sweet.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's a really so far, you know, it's really sweet.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_00]: I kept my attention which is hard to do these days.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, my mom said though, I can get she's I think seen three episodes and one she's I don't know if it was the first one or not, but I guess they were like, you know, in covered wagons.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_01]: going over some treacherous water thing and she's like, oh my god, it was just like harrowing.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, I'm really interested in seeing, as I like the little house on the parade TV show and then, um, I mean, I love that.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think it still holds up, you know, it's just because it's, it's a timepiece.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: So it's like it's not.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's absolutely holds up.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh god, I love Michael Landon.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_00]: We don't talk about him and how he like worked for like forever until he died.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he was amazing.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and everybody always had such, you know, wonderful things to say about him.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: And, and then I'm trying to, okay, so now have you not have not seen this.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think my mother has probably watched almost all of it.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: I had recommended it to her and I haven't watched it yet, but have you ever seen glow.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I haven't seen all of it, but I've watched a lot of it.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I do like it.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's, it's canffee.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's good.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: I like canffee.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and and I like, um, which is name.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: I can't think of this name.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: Who's the lead in it?
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: The, the comedian.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: Mark Marin.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I like Mark Marin.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_01]: I like him a lot too.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's awesome.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm trying to think, and now, okay, so shared to Colbus, I had, when she was on my show, I told her about, there was, there's a gorilla documentary on Netflix and there's also a dinosaur documentary.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_01]: And she said she really couldn't get into the dinosaur, which surprised me because I think it's fascinating, but have you seen either one of those?
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: I have not.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_01]: I highly recommend.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_01]: High, especially the gorilla, um, give it at burrow.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_01]: It's a David at burrow thing.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's just, you know, I mean, yes, there is a little bit of, like, how can I say this?
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't like to watch.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, when I watch the dinosaur thing, that's all, you know, computer-generated dinosaurs.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: If anything happens to the dinosaur, I always feel sorry for it, even though it's computer-generated.
- 48:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't wanna watch anything where you're gonna see wildlife or any animal being hurt.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I will say that in the gorilla thing, the only thing you see, so it's a tiny little spoiler, but it's not really, is I guess there was footage from, I believe it was Fasi, Diane Fasi.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: when they had the killed guerrilla and and and you see footage of them carrying the guerrilla but it's and it's old footage so yes it's sad but you don't see you don't seem killing it you just see that it was gone but I think in in this show the more sad thing if you're going to focus on anything sad is you know there's dynamics in the guerrilla group
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not easy.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's a fucking hard life, right, being the gorilla.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, there's a couple of gorillas who get not at the greatest deal.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: However, it's fascinating, and it's entertaining, and it's very good, and it wasn't the kind of thing where whatever happens to animals, made me wish I didn't see it.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_01]: So I highly recommend that.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_01]: And then the thing with the dinosaurs and I'm never gonna get over this, I didn't know this, but did you know
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: I never knew that.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: A million years.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's a long time.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know that.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know that.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's wild.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's totally wild.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, it's Morgan Freeman is narrating it.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: Of course he is.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_01]: And Steven Spielberg is producing it.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's absolutely fascinating because it takes you.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_01]: It starts off pre-dynastore with the big reptiles.
- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: Earth changed how Earth was a very different landscape initially and after the million year reign And it wasn't just the million year reign because there were volcanoes and there were all these other things that happened that formed what we're experiencing now But I mean, it's absolutely insane with these fucking and the some of the dinosaurs especially like the little flying ones are doorbell some of them are blue and I mean It's so cool
- 50:18[SPEAKER_01]: And it's a really fun, interesting way to learn history and yes, you do have to see, you know, when they become extinct and it shows you why they became extinct and how it happened and sometimes it was literally just because like with those dinosaurs that had those really long necks, they could eat all the, like the leaves and stuff from the trees and the smaller dinosaurs, they couldn't reach it and they died.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: So it was like it's kind of sad, but you know,
- 50:46[SPEAKER_01]: it was a really long time ago.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was millions and millions and millions and millions of years ago.
- 50:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, and it's just the way it went.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: But it's absolutely fascinating.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, you know, I always try to find the things that I like and shows that I like and things that make me happy and, you know, that's what I try to do as the world is chaotic and we're plumbing to earth in a plane.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, but speaking of animals that you think might be getting hurt.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to do too many spoilers, but there is a scene in Little House on the Prairie where you think it's about to happen, but just hold on.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and that's all I'm giving you.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, but I don't like that's for real.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_00]: Because like, I almost turned it off because I'm like you.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like yet.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_00]: So, but just stick with it.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the, in fact, Bob and I had watched, oh God, what was it that Chernobyl?
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: And there was one episode in Chernobyl where they go around and they kill all of the animals.
- 51:47[SPEAKER_01]: And it's really humanitarian.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_01]: You know, but I couldn't, we couldn't watch that.
- 51:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, no fucking I'll watch that.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_00]: No, I can't do it.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_00]: I can't do it.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a humane thing to do.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to watch it.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I have a friend who is a she's a TV writer and she wrote the episode of Walking Dead where they were they eat the dogs.
- 52:03[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_00]: And we all that are.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, no, great episode.
- 52:14[SPEAKER_00]: And you have to do what you have to do.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_00]: I get it in the apocalypse.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I was like, oh, no, that's so funny.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_01]: You yell at her for me, too.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can't deal with it.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_01]: I can watch people die all day long.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_01]: I can't watch the animals.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's so hard.
- 52:33[SPEAKER_01]: They're not us.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have the same kind of cruelty that we have in us.
- 52:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I know sometimes animals can be kind of cruel to each other.
- 52:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like I've seen cats bat and shit around and fucking around with, you know, other animals.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_01]: So I know that they have that in them.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_01]: But it's not to the degree that the human beings.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, humans are the worst.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're we're violent horrible.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's violent out in nature, but it's usually But it's not like addictive and all it's like it's like survival, right?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's not vengeful.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah And they're not like oh, and you know though, it was interesting because I will give you this little spoiler on the gorilla thing
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: that guerrillas can have sex recreationally and they showed it.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_01]: It was like, oh my, wow.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_00]: So like they were doing it for fun.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_00]: And it was not about procreation.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: And it was weird to see it.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_00]: It was like turn on the berry white now.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this isn't a weird like you're seeing something private.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: You shouldn't be saying I never like to watch animals doing it It just means we feel ugi and we And it was especially weird because it was so human-like, you know, it was like, you know That's like when you see two dogs going on it they look like dogs But when you see two gorillas like slowly pumping.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's like Too much
- 53:57[SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, all right, I'm going to let you go and on that note, on that, on really having sex.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_01]: But as I usually do, just make sure everybody knows where to find you.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, you can find the Ed Sarah Wood writer on most things, and Ed Sarah Wood on Boost Guy.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_00]: And we love Sarah Wood.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_01]: So thank you for being on my show today.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate it.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I know we'll talk to you.
