Latest / OneLegUpAlex Media / Terminello’s Take On How The Mets Have Juan Leg Up in NYC 12-14-24
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Well it's another Terminillo's take and Lou, I know you
- 0:03Speaker 1: haven't really got a chance to catch up with the
- 0:05Speaker 1: Colin Gocilla interview, but what a what a great back
- 0:08Speaker 1: to back days of podcasting here with Colin Gozel, the
- 0:11Speaker 1: grandson of Howard Gosell, and now the great Lou Terminillo.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Great company on this podcast the One Leg Up Network.
- 0:18Speaker 1: How are you, Louke?
- 0:20Speaker 2: I'm doing great, Alex, thank you for the thank you
- 0:23Speaker 2: for the kind words.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Uh, you know, I swear I should have just named
- 0:27Speaker 1: all these podcasts week the one Leg Up because really,
- 0:30Speaker 1: the Mets have had one leg up in New York,
- 0:32Speaker 1: haven't they.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yes, they've had this week has been a one leg up. Obviously,
- 0:37Speaker 2: he's a big, big, big signing for the Mets, the
- 0:41Speaker 2: biggest in their history. They're getting a player at at
- 0:44Speaker 2: in the prime of his career and it obviously that
- 0:50Speaker 2: day have broken the bank to get them. And are
- 0:54Speaker 2: the Mets better today than they were earlier in the week. Absolutely,
- 0:59Speaker 2: he's going to in with the Mets perfectly. Uh. I'm
- 1:03Speaker 2: kind of interesting to see where they're gonna go next.
- 1:05Speaker 2: But they got they got the challenge number one in
- 1:10Speaker 2: the bag, and that was that that that was tough. Now,
- 1:13Speaker 2: I really thought if it being as close as far
- 1:16Speaker 2: as the numbers offered money wise between the Yankees and
- 1:20Speaker 2: the Mets, I thought he would stay with the Yankees.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I thought the Mets would have to really blow He
- 1:24Speaker 2: didn't hear.
- 1:25Speaker 1: He didn't get that sweet he wanted. So the Mets
- 1:27Speaker 1: game a sweet deal in more way than one.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Yeah, he got, he got, he got sweet and uh,
- 1:34Speaker 2: I you know, he has a large family, and I'm
- 1:38Speaker 2: sure he'll use it for them and for you know,
- 1:40Speaker 2: for other family and friends. But it's it's a it's
- 1:44Speaker 2: a it's a good it's a good day. That was
- 1:45Speaker 2: a great day for the Mets. And let's see where
- 1:48Speaker 2: they they go from here. Obviously they're in a tough division.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I mean, I'd still even today would have to say
- 1:55Speaker 2: that the that the Phillies and the Braves might be
- 1:58Speaker 2: ahead of them, and I think they probably are. The
- 2:01Speaker 2: Yankees did the Mets of favor by signing Max Freed. Obviously,
- 2:08Speaker 2: he's one of the Brave's best pitchers on a pitching
- 2:11Speaker 2: rich team. So the Braves do have depth of pitching.
- 2:14Speaker 2: But that's not gonna that's not gonna hurt the Mets
- 2:18Speaker 2: that he's or the Phillies that he's at the division.
- 2:21Speaker 1: By the way, now they mentioned that the other teams. Look,
- 2:24Speaker 1: who's gonna be in that division. It's gonna be fun
- 2:25Speaker 1: because you're gonna have Olsen, Harper. I mean the Philly
- 2:29Speaker 1: team is just an offensive lineup that can win any night,
- 2:33Speaker 1: but the three main guys Harper, Olsen, and so that
- 2:37Speaker 1: will be a fun division to watch, maybe more so
- 2:39Speaker 1: than other years, Am I right? I mean last year
- 2:41Speaker 1: was incredible the way he came down in that final
- 2:43Speaker 1: day and both teams making it. But now almost every
- 2:47Speaker 1: night you're gonna have some kind of competition going on
- 2:49Speaker 1: to see who can be in the best in that division.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yes, every game is gonna matter. The division is is tough.
- 2:56Speaker 2: The National League is tough. I mean you have you
- 2:59Speaker 2: have the Dodgers, you have you have the Padres, you
- 3:02Speaker 2: have the Diamondbacks. You know, who made made to the
- 3:05Speaker 2: World Series two years ago, lost the playoff berth on
- 3:08Speaker 2: a tie breaker last year. So that's another thing that
- 3:13Speaker 2: surprised me a little bit. Let's face it, I mean,
- 3:18Speaker 2: the Yankees path to the World Series last year was easier,
- 3:22Speaker 2: uh than if they were in the National League and
- 3:26Speaker 2: Soto's chance to get into the World Series over the
- 3:28Speaker 2: next couple of years. The guy to go through the Phillies,
- 3:31Speaker 2: the Dodgers, You're gonna have to go through the Braves,
- 3:33Speaker 2: You're gonna have to go through the Padres, who I
- 3:37Speaker 2: actually thought were going to uh get to the World
- 3:40Speaker 2: Series last year. So there's that's interesting too. And also
- 3:45Speaker 2: he's leaving Yankee Stadium. I mean, you know, they showed
- 3:48Speaker 2: a montage of his home runs the other night, either
- 3:51Speaker 2: on ESPN or MLB Network or FS one, and uh,
- 3:57Speaker 2: a lot of those home runs that went into the
- 4:00Speaker 2: first or second row in a short coorch Yankee Stadium
- 4:03Speaker 2: are not going to go out. They might be line
- 4:06Speaker 2: dry doubles or or caught. But again, he's such a
- 4:10Speaker 2: great player, he's such a discipline hitter. But as you said,
- 4:13Speaker 2: it's going to be a very interesting baseball season.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And the other part that I feel like met fans
- 4:19Speaker 1: are not thinking about is how this rotation is still
- 4:21Speaker 1: not say yet they still have to Simon andya. I
- 4:24Speaker 1: think they have Frankie Montos, but I'm just not convinced
- 4:28Speaker 1: it's a rotation that you know, I don't know if
- 4:33Speaker 1: it could win the championship. Yet, am I wrong in
- 4:35Speaker 1: saying that?
- 4:35Speaker 2: No, you're not wrong, You're you're one hundred percent correct.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It is not a championship rotation. Yes, last year, they
- 4:43Speaker 2: they hit on all those middle of the road guys
- 4:47Speaker 2: and they all came through sevar Reno, who parlayed that
- 4:51Speaker 2: into a big the biggest deal ever for the for
- 4:55Speaker 2: the Oakland Athletics, and apparently manaig Is price tag is
- 5:01Speaker 2: going up, up and up because everybody needs pitching. Somebody
- 5:05Speaker 2: was saying that he might get one hundred million dollars
- 5:07Speaker 2: over four years. That's a lot of money. And you know,
- 5:13Speaker 2: but he did. He was a lights out pitcher at
- 5:16Speaker 2: the end. For the Mets, they're gonna have to make
- 5:19Speaker 2: a decision if they're going to go that high. Obviously
- 5:23Speaker 2: there's the Alonso question mark. I'm not I'm not sure
- 5:27Speaker 2: Alex if he's going to be back or not. I
- 5:29Speaker 2: really have I have no feel for that right now.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And you know, we'll see. Are they gonna make a
- 5:37Speaker 2: big trade. They're not. They're gonna do something else, that's
- 5:40Speaker 2: for sure. They didn't sign Sodo not to do something else,
- 5:46Speaker 2: so you will see. I mean, the next month is
- 5:48Speaker 2: going to be very interesting. It will be.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And speaking of the next month, you know, it also
- 5:54Speaker 1: overshot shadows what went down earlier that Sunday, Right, so
- 5:59Speaker 1: he had the football playoff rankings come out earlier in
- 6:02Speaker 1: the day, then the Soto signing completely varies that. But
- 6:06Speaker 1: I am excited, lou My Notre Dame Irish somewhere on
- 6:09Speaker 1: their sweater today gets that home playoff game. Alabama's out.
- 6:13Speaker 1: They actually will play Michigan in a bowl. I will watch.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I'm curious see if they could beat Michigan Alabama in
- 6:19Speaker 1: that bowl game. That'll be interesting. But the playoff field
- 6:22Speaker 1: is set. It looks like my hopes of the Texas
- 6:26Speaker 1: or my prediction of Texas first Georgia in the playoff
- 6:29Speaker 1: in the championship will not happen. I'm a little surprised
- 6:32Speaker 1: with that that they set it up to where that
- 6:33Speaker 1: could be a possibility. But no, it looks like they
- 6:35Speaker 1: could meet in the second round of this thing if
- 6:38Speaker 1: if Georgia advances. What are you making of all this?
- 6:41Speaker 2: Well, I think Texas and Georgia would meet in the
- 6:44Speaker 2: semi final. I believe no, actually they can even I'm
- 6:47Speaker 2: looking at the bracket, it's like there could.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Meet in the like the the second round.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Uh well, I'm looking at the bracket. In the second round.
- 6:56Speaker 2: If Texas wins next weekend, which I think they will,
- 7:01Speaker 2: they'll play Arizona State in the Peach Bowl in the
- 7:03Speaker 2: second round. If they win that, they'll be playing And
- 7:06Speaker 2: this is the tough this is the toughest route to
- 7:10Speaker 2: the to the championship. You got Tennessee and Ohio State.
- 7:18Speaker 2: The winner of that game, and both Tennessee and Ohio
- 7:20Speaker 2: State are powerful teams, plays Oregon and then the winner
- 7:26Speaker 2: of if that game, would play the winner of the
- 7:31Speaker 2: Texas Arizona State game. Texas I think has a path
- 7:35Speaker 2: to the semifinals, a clear path. If you go further down,
- 7:40Speaker 2: Penn State I think has a clear path to the semifinals. Yes,
- 7:44Speaker 2: they could lose to SMU next weekend, but then they
- 7:47Speaker 2: have Boise State. Yes they can, they can lose to
- 7:50Speaker 2: Boise State. I don't think they will lose to either game.
- 7:53Speaker 2: So then you have in the lower half of the bracket.
- 7:56Speaker 2: You got Indiana and Notre Dame. I really like I
- 7:59Speaker 2: told you I like Notre Dame. I think their their
- 8:02Speaker 2: positioned to uh to go far. If Indiana beats. If
- 8:10Speaker 2: Notre Dame beats Indiana at home and they are favored,
- 8:13Speaker 2: they played Georgia next. Normally that would be a tough game,
- 8:17Speaker 2: but we don't know if if if Carlson Beck is
- 8:21Speaker 2: going to be healthy from his his arm injury to
- 8:25Speaker 2: play in the in the in the quarterfinal, which is
- 8:27Speaker 2: the Sugar Bowl game. Notre Dame's in great shape. I
- 8:31Speaker 2: love their running game, I love their physicality. Uh. And
- 8:34Speaker 2: then if Not Dame wins that, the semi final and
- 8:37Speaker 2: the Orange Bowl would be I think it's going to be.
- 8:41Speaker 2: If George is healthy, I might change it. But if
- 8:44Speaker 2: Beck isn't healthy, I think No Dame is going to
- 8:46Speaker 2: get There would be Notre Dame and Penn State. I'm
- 8:49Speaker 2: telling you, Alex, Notre Dame has I'm not gonna say
- 8:52Speaker 2: they're gonna win the championship, but they have a great
- 8:55Speaker 2: chance to be in that final.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Well possibly. If we're talking about scenarios here, Riley Leonard
- 9:02Speaker 1: and a couple of those great offensive guys against the
- 9:04Speaker 1: Penze defense, which hasn't always shored up the win for them.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I mean, they've had a win on the offensive side
- 9:10Speaker 1: a little bit more than the defensive side of the ball.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So you know, this team has a really good chance.
- 9:16Speaker 1: And by the way, Notre Dame, well, I should say
- 9:19Speaker 1: Indiana lost their undefeated season against Ohio State, which was
- 9:23Speaker 1: a big loss, by the way, so they're beatable. That's
- 9:26Speaker 1: the point I'm trying to make here, is that Notre
- 9:27Speaker 1: Dame can beat them. And they put up fifty plus
- 9:30Speaker 1: points a few times this season. It can happen, and
- 9:33Speaker 1: it just it's a really long time game.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I really do like Notre Dame, and I like the
- 9:39Speaker 2: route to the to the national championship game. I mean,
- 9:42Speaker 2: they definitely can. They definitely can get there. And for Indiana,
- 9:46Speaker 2: Indiana's playt with house money. They have been a perennial
- 9:50Speaker 2: a perennial team that has had a very unsuccessful football program.
- 9:55Speaker 2: They've obviously they're known for their basketball and you know
- 10:00Speaker 2: the three the three biggest states, uh for basketball and
- 10:06Speaker 2: really their football programs University of Kentucky and and uh,
- 10:11Speaker 2: you know, Kentucky is a basketball state. So is Indiana,
- 10:14Speaker 2: and so is North Carolina. With the University of North
- 10:17Speaker 2: Carolina has always been a basketball school. But now it
- 10:23Speaker 2: happened yesterday that might change.
- 10:26Speaker 1: We'll see and guess what I believe it's gonna be
- 10:30Speaker 1: next Saturday or the Saturday twenty eighth in Fenway Park.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I think he's going to coach that game against Yukon.
- 10:36Speaker 1: What a return back home to New England area.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, but he's not coaching that game. They'll be
- 10:41Speaker 2: at the game, but he won't be coaching that game
- 10:43Speaker 2: because he doesn't know, he doesn't know the players. But
- 10:45Speaker 2: it is it is ironic that's that they'll be playing
- 10:48Speaker 2: at Fenway Park.
- 10:51Speaker 1: And I think where that where I think he hoisted
- 10:53Speaker 1: all four Super Bowls or something like that, all the
- 10:55Speaker 1: trophies on the mound one year.
- 10:57Speaker 2: They were showing big thure of that.
- 10:58Speaker 1: So it's sort of a homecome for Bill.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Oh without question, without question, Alex. To me, this is stunning.
- 11:07Speaker 2: It's totally out of the box. It's a fascinating move.
- 11:11Speaker 2: I did not expect that. I guess he must have
- 11:15Speaker 2: had feelers out with the NFL, and I guess people
- 11:22Speaker 2: they say burned a lot of bridges with NFL executives.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, obviously he certainly did with
- 11:28Speaker 2: the New York Jets when he absolutely screwed them twenty
- 11:31Speaker 2: four years ago.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Give me that one day contract and he was out
- 11:36Speaker 1: the next day. Is that what happened?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Or Alex two hours before he wrote that resignation or
- 11:43Speaker 2: that on a napkin, he told the coaches, we have
- 11:49Speaker 2: a two o'clock meeting to talk about responsibilities for two
- 11:53Speaker 2: thousand and for the two thousand and one season, for
- 11:57Speaker 2: the two thousand season, excuse me. And that was a
- 11:59Speaker 2: good That was a good That was a Super Bowl
- 12:02Speaker 2: contending scene that he walked away from. But he made
- 12:05Speaker 2: obviously he screwed them, but it all worked out for him.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I think he's gonna do okay at North Carolina. They
- 12:14Speaker 2: haven't won an ACC championship since nineteen eighty when they had,
- 12:19Speaker 2: if not the best player in the country, even though
- 12:21Speaker 2: he didn't win the Heisman Trophy, one of the best
- 12:25Speaker 2: players in Lawrence Taylor. But I think this is great
- 12:29Speaker 2: for North Carolina. Again, I don't know it could. There's
- 12:35Speaker 2: a couple of things here. Is Belichick doing it a yes,
- 12:39Speaker 2: get paid a lot of money, allegedly ten million year
- 12:42Speaker 2: for five years, plus there'll be other money perks that'll
- 12:45Speaker 2: go along with that. Is he trying to get North
- 12:51Speaker 2: Carolina even more closer to the rumors that we've been
- 12:55Speaker 2: hearing for the last couple of years. The Big Ten
- 12:57Speaker 2: launched North Carolina just having guy like Belichick solidify the
- 13:03Speaker 2: chances of North Carolina leaving the Big the ACC for
- 13:07Speaker 2: the Big Ten, even though the apparent to break out
- 13:13Speaker 2: of the conference, to leave the conference, the agreement is
- 13:18Speaker 2: ironclad that he can't do it. But or is it
- 13:21Speaker 2: to make the ACC? Those schools like Clemson and Florida
- 13:26Speaker 2: State that are suing the ACC because they want the
- 13:30Speaker 2: opportunity to possibly leave the ACC? Is this to make
- 13:33Speaker 2: the ACC stronger?
- 13:35Speaker 1: And by the way, we we we carry Syracuse as
- 13:38Speaker 1: you know on nine seventy the answer where I work
- 13:41Speaker 1: on my day job, and the most bizarre thing I
- 13:44Speaker 1: ever heard this year was added an ACC matchup at
- 13:48Speaker 1: Stanford versus cal And I'm I'm like, are you kidding me?
- 13:52Speaker 1: It just incredible what that ACC has becomes. It's I
- 13:55Speaker 1: don't want to call out a conference for being in disgrace,
- 13:57Speaker 1: but it feels disgraceful to have to hear that, you know.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Well, Alex, someone disagree with you on act. Is that disgrace?
- 14:04Speaker 2: Or is what the Big Ten did with USC and
- 14:07Speaker 2: UCLA and Oregon and Washington same thing. The SEC Texas
- 14:14Speaker 2: A and M and Texas, Texas A and M and
- 14:18Speaker 2: Texas really, Missouri, really Oklahoma. Really, it's all about the money,
- 14:24Speaker 2: my friend. It's all about the TV money.
- 14:28Speaker 1: By the way, I'm sure that Big Ten matchup championship
- 14:30Speaker 1: got a lot of ratings last week. I didn't check
- 14:33Speaker 1: the numbers, but uh, it was. It was entertaining. And
- 14:36Speaker 1: again that's a new comer to the Big Ten winning
- 14:39Speaker 1: the championship. It just this college football years had twist
- 14:43Speaker 1: and turns, I feel like more so than other years.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Am I right?
- 14:46Speaker 2: You're one hundred percent right? It was maybe the strangest
- 14:53Speaker 2: college football season, maybe since I've been watching college football,
- 14:58Speaker 2: and I've been watching college football way before you were born,
- 15:02Speaker 2: my friend, And it was it was a very strange.
- 15:05Speaker 2: It was a very strange year. The SEC championship game
- 15:11Speaker 2: got the highest rating of all the championship games. The
- 15:15Speaker 2: Texas Georgia game, where Georgia really showed incredible guts and
- 15:20Speaker 2: intestinal fortitude, as are saying, goes to uh to win
- 15:25Speaker 2: that game after Beck got hurt on the last play
- 15:27Speaker 2: of the half because the backup quarterback did a nice job,
- 15:33Speaker 2: but they couldn't open up the playbook like they wanted
- 15:36Speaker 2: to so, but they wielded. And the key, the key
- 15:39Speaker 2: play of that game was the fake was the fake
- 15:42Speaker 2: punt that turns out.
- 15:43Speaker 1: And you look at their season there that eight overtime
- 15:45Speaker 1: win winter we saw, you know, which we all saw
- 15:48Speaker 1: were gripping, you know it, just gripping one after the other. Hey,
- 15:52Speaker 1: three of that. I think that's the way all games
- 15:55Speaker 1: in the football world, NFL and college would be figured out.
- 15:58Speaker 1: You do two point versions, that's a real challenge, believe it.
- 16:02Speaker 1: We saw that be a challenge. I like that as
- 16:05Speaker 1: a way to determine a score. I just thought that
- 16:07Speaker 1: was a very unique thing to see. Well.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Obviously college and the pro football overtime rules are different.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I like the NFL rule. The only thing I don't like.
- 16:19Speaker 2: You know, four or five years ago they cut the
- 16:21Speaker 2: overtime rule from fifteen minutes to ten. I would have
- 16:25Speaker 2: kept it at fifteen. I like the fact that you
- 16:28Speaker 2: have to score a touchdown on your first possession. Then
- 16:32Speaker 2: you can win a game if you kick a field goal.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Obviously the other team has a chance to match. I
- 16:38Speaker 2: actually would make it fifteen minutes, and even if you
- 16:40Speaker 2: score a touchdown, give the on your first possession, give
- 16:44Speaker 2: the other team a chance to match.
- 16:47Speaker 1: But that would actually bring more that would bring that
- 16:50Speaker 1: would be a lot of That would be interesting too,
- 16:52Speaker 1: because then you'd actually be like a chess match almost
- 16:56Speaker 1: if you think about it that way. So that's an
- 16:58Speaker 1: interesting idea. Maybe Goodell's listening to this. None but that
- 17:03Speaker 1: uh next time, okay, and uh, these realignments are making
- 17:10Speaker 1: a spin. And uh, you think you think unc wants
- 17:14Speaker 1: out of the a CEC. Is that where you're saying, well.
- 17:18Speaker 2: They haven't from I don't believe that they sued I
- 17:21Speaker 2: know Clemson did, I know Florida State did. But there
- 17:25Speaker 2: has been for the last two three years, there definitely
- 17:28Speaker 2: has been uh some type of at least love letters
- 17:33Speaker 2: going back and forth between the Big fan and and
- 17:36Speaker 2: the University of North Carolina. That seems to be the
- 17:39Speaker 2: place that they would end up. I do not believe that,
- 17:44Speaker 2: even though sometimes they say that, or the sec ILL
- 17:47Speaker 2: I don't think that unc IS would be courted by
- 17:51Speaker 2: by the by the Southeastern Conference. But again, the acc
- 17:58Speaker 2: grant of rights deal is really ironclad, so for them
- 18:01Speaker 2: to leave, the penalty would be would be steep. But
- 18:06Speaker 2: again the Belichick changes everything, I believe. I mean, let's
- 18:10Speaker 2: face it, the University of North Carolina is now going
- 18:13Speaker 2: to be in more of those high profile network windows
- 18:20Speaker 2: than they were last year. I think last year they
- 18:22Speaker 2: were only on Fox one time. That was that the
- 18:25Speaker 2: first game of the season. At Minnesota.
- 18:28Speaker 1: They're typically on CBS Sports I feel like the actual
- 18:30Speaker 1: CBS Sports Network or something like that. So you're right,
- 18:33Speaker 1: there's going to be a lot more. Also, we talk
- 18:36Speaker 1: about free agents. You know how transfer portals made everybody
- 18:39Speaker 1: in college a free agent. Oil boy. Imagine the transfer
- 18:42Speaker 1: portal lighting up for the UNC. People are going to want.
- 18:45Speaker 2: To go there now, no question about you know. Obviously,
- 18:48Speaker 2: I'm sure he's going to do some recruiting. He hired
- 18:50Speaker 2: Mike Lombardi, one of his one of his buddies who
- 18:53Speaker 2: worked with him at New England and as the general manager.
- 18:56Speaker 2: As now we have this new title in college athletics
- 19:00Speaker 2: of general manager. Andrew Lucky is a general manager at Stanford.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Adrian Woljanowski leaving ESPN to be a general manager at
- 19:08Speaker 2: Saint Bonaventure. Yes, you're right, because he said this press
- 19:12Speaker 2: conference yesterday he's not running the wishbone offense. He is
- 19:16Speaker 2: going to play a pro style NFL style of offense,
- 19:20Speaker 2: and that will allure quarterbacks, skill position players like running backs,
- 19:26Speaker 2: and especially wide receivers to come to North Carolina.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Now, you know what I heard, by the way, speaking
- 19:33Speaker 1: of Notre Dame, is Tommy Reese interviewed multiple times for
- 19:36Speaker 1: that job. And whenever Tommy Reese becomes a head coach,
- 19:39Speaker 1: I'm rooting for that team because I just love his
- 19:41Speaker 1: football mindset. He was a great at offensive coordinator for
- 19:44Speaker 1: the Irish and he moved to Alabama. He's a hiad
- 19:48Speaker 1: coaching gig somewhere, and I'll be rooting for that team
- 19:50Speaker 1: when that happened.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I'm surprised he hasn't gotten one yet. Alex, You're right,
- 19:55Speaker 2: so I'm sure he's in that next level of coach candidates.
- 20:00Speaker 2: He's still young, but I'm sure within the next by
- 20:04Speaker 2: next year, he definitely will will get one. So yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 2: it's gonna be interesting. Well, now, we'll definitely follow the
- 20:13Speaker 2: tar Heels during the football season, that's for sure.
- 20:17Speaker 1: You know the other thing about this ball season which
- 20:19Speaker 1: is fascinating is that I mentioned Michigan versus Alabama. I
- 20:24Speaker 1: bet you nobody really knew that Michigan got a bowl
- 20:26Speaker 1: game because everything about the playoff overshadowed who else got bowls? Right?
- 20:31Speaker 1: I mean even Syracuse got a bowl game, and so
- 20:33Speaker 1: you got you gotta shout those who made a bowl game,
- 20:35Speaker 1: even if they're not in the playoff. And I feel
- 20:37Speaker 1: like that wasn't announced enough this year.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Well you're right, you're right, but there's way too many
- 20:45Speaker 2: bowl games and besides the playoff, really none of the
- 20:49Speaker 2: old other balls matter. I saw this morning that Alabama
- 20:52Speaker 2: says that none of their players are going to opt
- 20:55Speaker 2: out of the bowl game, which is commendable. And you
- 20:59Speaker 2: certain remember the Florida state fiasco last year and forty
- 21:02Speaker 2: fifty players UH dropped out and it was how about.
- 21:06Speaker 1: How about when another Italian from Jersey and for the
- 21:11Speaker 1: Irish because Sam Hartin didn't want to be in that bowl?
- 21:14Speaker 2: Believe that, you know, that's right?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's happening.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Well, it's going to happen. It's going to happen a lot.
- 21:20Speaker 2: You're going to see it in the UH, you know,
- 21:25Speaker 2: in this bold season. But really, als the only thing
- 21:27Speaker 2: that matters are the UH all the playoff games. They
- 21:32Speaker 2: really do. So I'm looking forward to the playoffs.
- 21:37Speaker 1: There is one more game in the college football world
- 21:40Speaker 1: before we hit both season, and it's the annual Army
- 21:43Speaker 1: Navy and I just love the tradition of it. I
- 21:45Speaker 1: love what it means, and I love that we honor
- 21:48Speaker 1: our armed forces that way. And by the way there,
- 21:51Speaker 1: it's one of the most competitive seasons for both teams.
- 21:53Speaker 1: They were nearly undefeated, both of them. So doesn't that
- 21:56Speaker 1: add an element to tomorrow's game, like they're at the
- 21:59Speaker 1: peak of their performance and says right now for both teams.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Alex, when you we have to remember also and you
- 22:05Speaker 2: are one hundred percent correct and everything that you just
- 22:07Speaker 2: said leading up to tomorrow, Army Navy, there's no transfer portal.
- 22:15Speaker 2: They can't get it. They can't get nil money. And
- 22:18Speaker 2: what they did this year is tremendous. Army in the
- 22:21Speaker 2: conference for the first time, they were in Conference USA
- 22:24Speaker 2: for four or five years about twenty years ago, you know,
- 22:29Speaker 2: winning their conference, going underfeeding their conference. They were underdoupted
- 22:33Speaker 2: Tulane even though they played that home and they really
- 22:35Speaker 2: over control that game the whole way. Last Friday night,
- 22:40Speaker 2: you know, we talked about Bryson daily. I can't believe
- 22:42Speaker 2: that the guy's not at least one of the top
- 22:47Speaker 2: four or five guys in Heisman voting, because he's what
- 22:51Speaker 2: really what the Heisman Trophy is all about.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And that commerce chairman, who's going to get you a
- 22:57Speaker 1: playoff game? Obviously with loos or.
- 23:00Speaker 2: No, well, it's not a powerful it's not a Power
- 23:04Speaker 2: for conference. They would have to be like what Boise
- 23:08Speaker 2: State is not was not in the Power for But
- 23:11Speaker 2: they their ranking was inside the top top twelve. So
- 23:17Speaker 2: that's why they were able to get in the conference
- 23:22Speaker 2: player excuse me, the college playoffs. But Army had just
- 23:27Speaker 2: had a great year. They have a great coach, and
- 23:30Speaker 2: I saw that. I think North Carolina might even thought
- 23:34Speaker 2: about if Belichick didn't get the job, they might have
- 23:38Speaker 2: talked to t Monkin. Jeffunkin's a great coach. He's done
- 23:41Speaker 2: a great job in a tough situation at Army. So
- 23:44Speaker 2: I'm looking forward to I'm looking forward tomorrow's Army Navy game.
- 23:48Speaker 2: It's such a battle. They play, they play with heart,
- 23:51Speaker 2: they play with pride. You're not going to see guys
- 23:54Speaker 2: walking off the field like de Andre Campbell did last
- 23:57Speaker 2: night for the forty nine ers, refusing to go in game.
- 24:00Speaker 1: By the way, that game last night. It just shows
- 24:03Speaker 1: and you may think I'm crazy, but at least Shanahan's
- 24:06Speaker 1: on the hot seat. Maybe not McVeigh, but both teams
- 24:09Speaker 1: are really struggling and maybe they do need to shake
- 24:13Speaker 1: up here. You know, the Rams just won a couple
- 24:14Speaker 1: of years ago, but Shanahan has had a struggle after struggle,
- 24:18Speaker 1: and maybe they need to move up.
- 24:20Speaker 2: What do you think, Well, I'm gonna I would agree
- 24:22Speaker 2: with you. I disagree with you one thousand percent. Shanahan's
- 24:28Speaker 2: a great coach. Mcvay's a great coach. And if you
- 24:32Speaker 2: are right with either one of those guys, I hope
- 24:36Speaker 2: our Woody Johnson and Jet management, uh five seconds after
- 24:40Speaker 2: they fire one of these guys will call either one
- 24:43Speaker 2: of these guys, because that's exactly what the Jets need.
- 24:48Speaker 2: The Rams are a physical football team. They might I
- 24:51Speaker 2: don't know if they're gonna make the playoffs or not.
- 24:52Speaker 2: They didn't have a lot of injuries, No, not as
- 24:54Speaker 2: many as the forty nine as we've had, just an
- 24:56Speaker 2: amazing amount of injuries. But either coach would be unemployed
- 25:02Speaker 2: for twenty minutes. I don't think I don't think anything.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Is is any smoke there to that to that fire.
- 25:11Speaker 2: If they leave, it would be on their own accord.
- 25:14Speaker 2: And I don't know their contracts.
- 25:15Speaker 1: And I know for the Niners because I haven't following
- 25:17Speaker 1: them because I'm a macaffrick fan. Him being injured in
- 25:19Speaker 1: and out is just have been hurting that team big time.
- 25:23Speaker 2: So last night they were playing with their fourth and
- 25:26Speaker 2: fifth running backs.
- 25:29Speaker 1: And uh and so there's that. But no, to your
- 25:32Speaker 1: other point, they don't walk off the field. They have
- 25:35Speaker 1: all the tradition, the songs, but the fight songs after
- 25:39Speaker 1: every you know, for each sideline, it's it's a special moment.
- 25:43Speaker 1: And I love when the players wrap their arms around
- 25:46Speaker 1: each other, you know, and do the it's it's it's
- 25:49Speaker 1: nothing like it. And I hope to make it one
- 25:50Speaker 1: day to an Army Navy game. Maybe that's that's definitely
- 25:53Speaker 1: on my.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Bucket list, that's for sure, Alex. I've been invited and
- 25:57Speaker 2: I've never gone, even when it was in the meadow lands,
- 25:59Speaker 2: even when I twenty minutes away, I've never gone to
- 26:02Speaker 2: an Army Navy game. And that, yeah, that's that's a
- 26:06Speaker 2: miss on my part.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Well, it'll be it'll be fun and you know, not
- 26:11Speaker 1: to get political, but whenever there's solid leadership at the top.
- 26:14Speaker 1: It makes fun the game even more fun. We saw
- 26:18Speaker 1: that for a few years back in the twenty ten
- 26:21Speaker 1: twenty you know, after twenty sixteens, LOUI, I have to
- 26:24Speaker 1: say this. Jeff Munkin was the coach way back when
- 26:27Speaker 1: we were on MCA, so he's had a longevity with
- 26:29Speaker 1: that scene.
- 26:29Speaker 2: By the way, Yeah, yeah, I think he's in his
- 26:31Speaker 2: ninth year. I mean, he's done a tremendous job. And
- 26:34Speaker 2: you remember Army before, not to say that when we
- 26:37Speaker 2: when we ink to deal with them to start broadcasting
- 26:40Speaker 2: their games, that we were a good luck charm, but
- 26:42Speaker 2: they had that they had that long streak against Navy
- 26:45Speaker 2: where they were when they lost thirteen in a row,
- 26:48Speaker 2: and uh, they really weren't he we we almost turned
- 26:54Speaker 2: it around at the same time when we when they
- 26:57Speaker 2: joined us, that's when they started turning around. And with
- 26:59Speaker 2: the exception of last year, they've really been successful. They
- 27:03Speaker 2: for basically the past decade. I love watching this team.
- 27:08Speaker 2: And even last week in the championship game, Army threw
- 27:11Speaker 2: just two passes and none until the third quarter. They
- 27:15Speaker 2: just pound well up.
- 27:17Speaker 1: I got to say this now that we're on the
- 27:19Speaker 1: topic of five seventy and nine seventy real quick. The
- 27:22Speaker 1: man who helped ink the deals with you. Of course,
- 27:25Speaker 1: Jerry Crowley is retiring, and it was a very special week.
- 27:29Speaker 1: You have a final message for Jerry on Terminello State
- 27:31Speaker 1: because he was the guy that really anchored the ship
- 27:34Speaker 1: and he was the one that signed up on the
- 27:35Speaker 1: deals with you.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Right, yes, he did. And I know Jerry a long
- 27:39Speaker 2: long time back in the days when he's at plenty,
- 27:41Speaker 2: he was at WR and we inked the deal for
- 27:44Speaker 2: the New Jersey Net games with him on WR. We
- 27:47Speaker 2: were on WR for eight years. Jerry's obviously a radio icon.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I heard him this morning on with Piscopo on the
- 27:56Speaker 2: Piscopo in the Morning Show, and it was a great
- 27:58Speaker 2: it was a great segment. Uh. You know, Jerry, Jerry
- 28:04Speaker 2: really knows how to put together a radio station schedule,
- 28:12Speaker 2: and uh, very he's very innovative. He's a visionary even
- 28:18Speaker 2: though he's an old radio guy. So I wish him
- 28:21Speaker 2: a lot of good luck. He's retirement him, he's he's
- 28:23Speaker 2: he's a deer friend and.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Him bringing you on led us to all these connects
- 28:27Speaker 1: with Saint John's Army. Syracuse, the Island, the Islanders. Yeah,
- 28:33Speaker 1: it's like a memory lane here for a second, you know,
- 28:36Speaker 1: because he was the one that brought you in and
- 28:39Speaker 1: we changed the game literally of sports talk radio with
- 28:43Speaker 1: with all these.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Teams, so and that that that those were fun days. Absolutely,
- 28:47Speaker 2: But you know, you you mentioned the Islanders and the
- 28:50Speaker 2: one thing I want to say about hockey and it's
- 28:53Speaker 2: not really it's not an Islander point. It's a Ranger point.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I know, it's only twenty six, twenty seven games in,
- 29:01Speaker 2: and I didn't think i'd be saying this, and I
- 29:05Speaker 2: think they will be okay. But something's missing so far
- 29:09Speaker 2: with the Rangers. They're not organized, They're still getting caught
- 29:15Speaker 2: on these two on one breaks. They're giving up way
- 29:18Speaker 2: too much odd Man rushes, the Jacob Trouper thing. I
- 29:24Speaker 2: don't know. I mean, I don't know if they couldn't
- 29:28Speaker 2: have gotten rid of him like they wanted to in
- 29:30Speaker 2: the offseason. I don't know if you should have started
- 29:32Speaker 2: the season with the team. You know, Chris Crier now
- 29:38Speaker 2: hears that he's been mentioned in trade talks, I don't
- 29:41Speaker 2: know how.
- 29:42Speaker 1: All right, can we talk about that for a second,
- 29:43Speaker 1: Because I saw Ryan Pagano was a big Islander fan
- 29:46Speaker 1: and a colleague of mine. Can you imagine Anderley and
- 29:49Speaker 1: Chris Crider. You know, there there are two guys that
- 29:52Speaker 1: I want to see get a ring in New York.
- 29:54Speaker 1: It's him and Andersley because they've been there the longest.
- 29:57Speaker 1: They deserve it the most. My god, and was during
- 30:00Speaker 1: that twenty twenty one or you know, the later stretch
- 30:03Speaker 1: they would have won the ring. I'm convinced of that
- 30:05Speaker 1: they can't.
- 30:06Speaker 2: He could have been a difference maker because that's how
- 30:08Speaker 2: close those conference finals against Tampa were. You're right, and
- 30:13Speaker 2: guy too, Alex. He played Notre Dame.
- 30:16Speaker 1: There you go. See, it's all about the Notre Dame connection.
- 30:19Speaker 1: I'm we're in the sweater today, so it's all making sense.
- 30:22Speaker 1: And then Cryder, of course he should have been the
- 30:25Speaker 1: captain if you were gonna name Truba and then throw
- 30:28Speaker 1: him out the door like a month haf a year later,
- 30:32Speaker 1: it made no sense on management part.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Well, I don't know who the next captain is going
- 30:36Speaker 2: to be. They might go with no captain even for
- 30:39Speaker 2: the rest of the year. But if they're gonna trade Crider,
- 30:42Speaker 2: if that's true, that and again we they might have
- 30:46Speaker 2: flowed his name out there but we don't know how
- 30:50Speaker 2: serious those discussions were. I would say Crider would be
- 30:54Speaker 2: the natural next candidate to be captain. It has to
- 30:57Speaker 2: be the Crider or my opinion, Adam Fox.
- 31:01Speaker 1: I've watched I've watched a lot of games with Gabby,
- 31:03Speaker 1: she's a big Ranger fan, my fiance. And you know
- 31:06Speaker 1: who was the last off the ice and then is
- 31:08Speaker 1: the very captain moved Chris Krider. He waits till everybody
- 31:11Speaker 1: gets off the ice and intermission at the end of
- 31:13Speaker 1: the game. That's what a captain does. I think anyway, Well.
- 31:16Speaker 2: And you gotta remember, captain in hockey means more than
- 31:20Speaker 2: any other sport. In baseball, it's okay, it's ceremonial in football,
- 31:28Speaker 2: all right, you go out there for the for the
- 31:31Speaker 2: toss of the coin. But in hockey, you really, you're
- 31:34Speaker 2: really not only lead the leader in the locker room,
- 31:37Speaker 2: but you talk to the officials about a controversial penalty,
- 31:42Speaker 2: a controversial offside, a controversial I sing. You have to
- 31:47Speaker 2: be a policeman on the ice if the other team
- 31:50Speaker 2: is getting too physical with your team. There's a lot
- 31:52Speaker 2: more tentacles to a hockey captain than any other sport,
- 31:56Speaker 2: any other major sport.
- 31:59Speaker 1: In my opinion, Yeah, no. And I'm seeing Adam Bucks
- 32:02Speaker 1: the other night we were at the Blackhawk game. He's
- 32:04Speaker 1: going up to the ref after the periods saying, are
- 32:06Speaker 1: you sure this was that? Like I noticed, he's gonna
- 32:08Speaker 1: get clarification. I don't notice that in other sports like that.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Maybe I'm not an observant, but I notice these hockey
- 32:14Speaker 1: guys go to the ref after the period.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Hockey captains are at a level above at least the
- 32:21Speaker 2: designation is a level above basketball or baseball or football.
- 32:28Speaker 1: All right, speaking of captains, apparently people are now blaming
- 32:32Speaker 1: Judge for not reaching out to Soto, and we started
- 32:34Speaker 1: with Soda. So I want to kind of end with
- 32:36Speaker 1: all that. I just think him saying, you're not in
- 32:39Speaker 1: touch with the with the Yankee teammates. I mean, Sodo
- 32:42Speaker 1: have the bad taste of Yankee fans mountains. He kind
- 32:44Speaker 1: of added to it yesterday. But why blame Judge. I
- 32:47Speaker 1: don't blame Judge for Soda leaving. That's a stupid assessment
- 32:50Speaker 1: someone made of the radio this week.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Well you see, well that's what you just said. Somebody
- 32:55Speaker 2: made on the radio because they have nothing else to
- 32:57Speaker 2: talk about. I don't blame Aaron Judge for that, and
- 33:04Speaker 2: I don't think that's one of the I don't think
- 33:06Speaker 2: that's the reason so Sodo left. We had a feeling
- 33:09Speaker 2: it was going to come down to the Mets of
- 33:10Speaker 2: the Yankees, because the Mets and the Yankees spend the
- 33:13Speaker 2: most money along with the Dodgers. So but now Aaron
- 33:19Speaker 2: Judge should not be blamed at all. In my opinion,
- 33:25Speaker 2: he's still I mean, he's still you know, he might
- 33:31Speaker 2: many people think that Judges is still better than Sodo
- 33:35Speaker 2: and that that that I can't argue with them on that.
- 33:39Speaker 2: I mean, you can go either way. But you know, yeah,
- 33:41Speaker 2: we talked about we talked about the four great plays
- 33:43Speaker 2: in baseball at the end of last year, and it
- 33:46Speaker 2: was Judge, and it was Sodo, and it was Otani
- 33:48Speaker 2: and it was Bobby Wood Junior. And boy do the
- 33:52Speaker 2: are the Royals lucky that they signed him too? That
- 33:55Speaker 2: eleven year contract for what two hundred and eighty nine
- 33:58Speaker 2: million bargain. Bobby Wood Junior is a bargain.
- 34:03Speaker 1: He will probably be m v P one day. I'm
- 34:05Speaker 1: sorry Yankee fans say that, but I think he's gonna
- 34:07Speaker 1: be an m v P one day here, so we'll.
- 34:08Speaker 2: See no doubt. Uh, you know, UH, one last thing
- 34:14Speaker 2: and uh as we wrap up. Even though I'm a
- 34:17Speaker 2: Met fan, I'm glad the Mets got him. This is
- 34:20Speaker 2: not good for baseball. This is I mean, are the
- 34:24Speaker 2: Pirates going to be able to re sign Paul Skeins
- 34:28Speaker 2: when he when he becomes a free agent down the road. Yes,
- 34:30Speaker 2: they have him locked up for another four or five years.
- 34:32Speaker 2: He's not gonna even get that far. They're gonna have
- 34:34Speaker 2: to trade him. And you know, we can go right
- 34:36Speaker 2: down the line with with with uh young players on
- 34:41Speaker 2: different teams. This is still wrong for baseball. This is
- 34:44Speaker 2: why Manford has to come up with these dopey rules
- 34:49Speaker 2: to try to make baseball more more interesting. You know,
- 34:52Speaker 2: make that we we want to put the golden bat
- 34:54Speaker 2: in to make it more appealing to younger fans. You know,
- 34:58Speaker 2: I put in that stupid ghost runner, which was a
- 35:01Speaker 2: product of COVID, the larger basis, which has changed stolen
- 35:06Speaker 2: based records. You know, the pickoff limit to three pickoffs.
- 35:12Speaker 2: It's just these are gimmicks, Alex. In my opinion, you
- 35:16Speaker 2: want one of the reasons why the game is are
- 35:18Speaker 2: more interesting because a lot of these teams. Yes, I
- 35:22Speaker 2: know they've expanded. So now somebody Detroit can get in
- 35:26Speaker 2: on the last day of this seasons as the seventh
- 35:28Speaker 2: seed and they can win the two out of three.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Anybody can win the two out of three. And I
- 35:33Speaker 2: know Kansas City won ten years ago, but there was
- 35:36Speaker 2: a few and far between. When you know your team.
- 35:40Speaker 2: The fans of the Pittsburgh Pirates, as we sit here
- 35:43Speaker 2: on this cold Friday in the Northeast, they know that
- 35:47Speaker 2: even though the National League Central is not a good division,
- 35:50Speaker 2: or the American League Central is not a good division,
- 35:53Speaker 2: the Pittsburgh Pirates. No, the Cincinnati redsnow that they're not
- 35:56Speaker 2: winning the World Series next year. They might not even
- 35:59Speaker 2: be five hundred. And is Elie de la Cruz going
- 36:02Speaker 2: to sign with the Reds.
- 36:05Speaker 1: No, he doesn't seem like a guy that's going to
- 36:07Speaker 1: be doing it for a loyalty to a fane.
- 36:10Speaker 2: That's again, I mean, that's the problem with baseball. I mean,
- 36:15Speaker 2: look at the Jets, the situation that the jetson Giants
- 36:18Speaker 2: are in. They're going to take huge cap hits for
- 36:21Speaker 2: Daniel Jones and for Aaron Rodgers, because I don't think
- 36:25Speaker 2: Rogers is coming back next year because the new regime
- 36:29Speaker 2: is going to be coming in. But in baseball, you
- 36:32Speaker 2: could take all right, you take the money and you
- 36:35Speaker 2: flush it down the toilet. There's no ramifications. Yeah, I know,
- 36:38Speaker 2: there's the there's the luxury tax and all that kind
- 36:42Speaker 2: of stuff. Yeah, that's just pencil pushing number of stuff,
- 36:45Speaker 2: But it doesn't affect that. That affects the competitive balance
- 36:49Speaker 2: on the field. It's been a problem for the last
- 36:53Speaker 2: fifty years and it's still a problem. That's what. That's fine.
- 36:58Speaker 1: We see Soto selling eighty Jersey's outside of the stadium,
- 37:02Speaker 1: we know why because he had to do it under.
- 37:03Speaker 2: The Confective Murgerty agreement.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Anyway, speak one one last thing because this also hit
- 37:09Speaker 1: my b this week. Tell us a bit about Mark Gastno,
- 37:13Speaker 1: he's now complaining about the sack by far? Have you
- 37:16Speaker 1: even following the story at all or not? Hu?
- 37:19Speaker 2: Yep? And and really Mark gas was one hundred percent right.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I remember that. I remember that game like it was yesterday.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I actually thought the NFL was going to call out
- 37:27Speaker 2: a running play because if you watch the play, and
- 37:30Speaker 2: the New York Post actually had a narrative of Bob Popper,
- 37:33Speaker 2: the Giant announcers played by play col not an audio
- 37:38Speaker 2: version of it, a print version of it, and if
- 37:41Speaker 2: you read it, it's it says that Farv went turtled
- 37:48Speaker 2: up for his friend, I mean and Gaston and obviously
- 37:54Speaker 2: gasno had we know he has many illnesses from playing football, Alzheimer's,
- 38:00Speaker 2: some type of Parkinson's. Yeah, no, I would be mad too.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Now TJ. Watt has he had an extra game, but
- 38:08Speaker 2: he did a couple of years ago tie the twenty
- 38:11Speaker 2: two and a half sack record. But yeah, that was that.
- 38:14Speaker 2: That was not a good look for the NFL that
- 38:16Speaker 2: day in my opinion.
- 38:18Speaker 1: But now it just looks pretty sad complaining about That's
- 38:21Speaker 1: what I thought it was.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Well again, he's act playing about it now. It's because
- 38:25Speaker 2: it's going to be part of I guess ESPN's doing
- 38:28Speaker 2: a East sixty or thirty for thirty on the sack exchange.
- 38:33Speaker 2: But that sack, that sack was bush league, farb was,
- 38:36Speaker 2: that was a bush league sack. There's no other way
- 38:39Speaker 2: to say.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I'll be sure to tag Bret barton that because he
- 38:41Speaker 1: seems to be trying to clear the air about every thing,
- 38:44Speaker 1: you know, And anyway.
- 38:46Speaker 2: That's my opinion that it was a bush It was
- 38:49Speaker 2: a bush league move by far Oh.
- 38:51Speaker 1: I think we covered everything in the span of thirty minutes.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I can't believe we did it, but we did it.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I appreciate you every week, and you know what, We're
- 39:00Speaker 1: gonna have one right before Christmas, and hell maybe we'll
