Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Now it is the Mark Simon Show on sevent tenor.
- 0:10Speaker 2: A lot of good stuff to get to today, lots
- 0:12Speaker 2: good talk about. We'll get to President Trump. He's just
- 0:15Speaker 2: done a very lengthy CNBC interview which is driving the
- 0:21Speaker 2: left nuts. We'll get to Oh, I forgot about this
- 0:24Speaker 2: major major shakeup in the Trump administration. Get to that
- 0:28Speaker 2: in a second. We'll get to Iran. The talks will
- 0:31Speaker 2: resume today, Iran confirming they will be there at the
- 0:35Speaker 2: bargaining table. We'll get to Obama and what the hell
- 0:39Speaker 2: is he up to right now? We'll get to mister
- 0:42Speaker 2: met again. We'll get to Hockel, Bruce Blakeman, who should
- 0:46Speaker 2: be the next governor. We'll get to crazy Mom, Donnie,
- 0:49Speaker 2: and a whole lot more. Let me just clear this up.
- 0:52Speaker 2: If you've been watching the news NBCCBSABC, if you're reading
- 0:56Speaker 2: the New York Times, if you're using that crazy fake
- 1:00Speaker 2: news left wing media which is just about everything now,
- 1:04Speaker 2: you would have seen the headline major shakeup in the
- 1:07Speaker 2: Trump administration, A major shakeup. Well, the major shakeup is
- 1:13Speaker 2: what the hell's her name? Uh, resignation of Lori Chavez.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I don't know how you say it. Diremer de reamer.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I don't even know her name. This is the major shakeup.
- 1:25Speaker 2: She's actually the Labor secretary, which is the one of
- 1:28Speaker 2: the least important cabinet jobs. But she has resigned. And
- 1:34Speaker 2: if this what's today Tuesday. If on Sunday you said
- 1:37Speaker 2: to all of these newspeople, who's Lori's Chavez d Remor,
- 1:41Speaker 2: they would go huh, who huh? Nobody ever heard of her.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Now it's a major shakeup, major shakeup. She uh was
- 1:51Speaker 2: the labor secretary. She got in a lot of trouble.
- 1:54Speaker 2: There was a whistleblower that filed all these complaints, and
- 1:56Speaker 2: it turned out it was true that she was drinking
- 1:58Speaker 2: an office during working hours. According to all of this,
- 2:01Speaker 2: according to the investigation, created a hostile work environment. She
- 2:05Speaker 2: was pursuing an extra marital affair with the security guard.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Well he's labor, I guess. The complaint also said she
- 2:16Speaker 2: committed travel fraud by a lot of the aides, chief
- 2:20Speaker 2: of staff and deputies were make up these official trips
- 2:23Speaker 2: that weren't actually official. There were the destinations where there
- 2:26Speaker 2: were family vacations or just plain vacations on the taxpayer's dime.
- 2:32Speaker 2: But if you're watching the news, major shakeup. Nobody ever
- 2:36Speaker 2: heard of this woman. The day before, not one of
- 2:39Speaker 2: you newspeople ever said, let's try to get an interview
- 2:42Speaker 2: with Lori Chavez de rim Or. Nobody ever heard of her.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Now you say, well, yeah, but Trump, why would Trump? Uh? Well,
- 2:48Speaker 2: I looked into that. Where the hell did she come from?
- 2:50Speaker 2: It was actually the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Teamster's president
- 2:54Speaker 2: Shaw O'Brien had recommended her to Trump, in fact, had
- 2:58Speaker 2: encouraged Trump to nominate. And it's again, it's not the
- 3:02Speaker 2: biggest cabinet post. You can really put just about anybody
- 3:05Speaker 2: in there. Do you know any labor secretaries that have
- 3:08Speaker 2: stood out? Who's that little guy Robert Reisch? Wasn't he
- 3:12Speaker 2: a labor secretary? Again, it's a job where you just
- 3:15Speaker 2: stick somebody. So forget the major shakeup. Now, Iran talks
- 3:19Speaker 2: will continue today. Iran has confirmed they will send a delegation.
- 3:26Speaker 2: There will be peace talks today. Steve Whitkoff, Jared Kushner,
- 3:31Speaker 2: I think Vice President Vance and our team are there
- 3:34Speaker 2: over there now in Islamabad, Pakistan. You ever see the
- 3:38Speaker 2: life Jared Kushner lives in Miami, lives in this spectacular
- 3:42Speaker 2: mansion Miami, fun and son and glamour and fun. He's
- 3:46Speaker 2: running a massive real estate empire. He's a billionaire. He's
- 3:50Speaker 2: having the time of his Life's got a beautiful way.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Who the hell would want to give all this up
- 3:55Speaker 2: and sit on a plane for twenty hours to get
- 3:57Speaker 2: to Islamabad, Pakistan to sit in the Islama biod Pakistan
- 4:02Speaker 2: hotel ballroom for twelve hours talking to a bunch of
- 4:05Speaker 2: crazy Iranian negotiating. Who would want to do this? But
- 4:09Speaker 2: that's what he enjoys. Some people like pickleball. He likes
- 4:12Speaker 2: this talking to crazy Iranians at a bargaining table. So
- 4:16Speaker 2: the talks will continue today. Iran making all their usual threats,
- 4:20Speaker 2: they have now said they are prepared to reveal new
- 4:25Speaker 2: cards on the battlefield. They have some secret new thing. Well,
- 4:29Speaker 2: so far we took out all their major stuff, all
- 4:33Speaker 2: their real weapons, and now they're down to what they
- 4:35Speaker 2: call these mosquito boats. They're little, tiny speed boats with dynamite.
- 4:39Speaker 2: If a ship is trying to come through the strait,
- 4:42Speaker 2: they'll zoom out from a cave and try to hit
- 4:45Speaker 2: the ship with a bomb. But they're not that effective.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Outside of that, I don't know what they have now
- 4:50Speaker 2: we do know. It turns out, you know, we took
- 4:53Speaker 2: out all their rockets and missile launchers and that sort
- 4:56Speaker 2: of stuff. It turns out that they did bury keep
- 5:00Speaker 2: underground long before all this started. They buried a lot
- 5:03Speaker 2: of missile launchers and rockets to have in reserve in
- 5:08Speaker 2: case we blew up everything. They could dig those out.
- 5:11Speaker 2: So they're in the process of digging out those rockets
- 5:14Speaker 2: and missile launchers. Now we watched carefully, as does Israel,
- 5:18Speaker 2: with satellite photos of all this stuff. So I guess
- 5:20Speaker 2: if we see them digging out something, we'll blow up
- 5:22Speaker 2: the spot before they even get it out. We are
- 5:27Speaker 2: blockading the straight of horm Moves and we did take
- 5:31Speaker 2: out one of There was a tanker that tried to
- 5:34Speaker 2: come through the blockade, and if you watch the way
- 5:37Speaker 2: the US handled it, it was pretty amazing. It was
- 5:41Speaker 2: the Tusca, an Iranian flagged tanker ship a vessel that
- 5:46Speaker 2: tried to cross the blockade and it went right through it.
- 5:50Speaker 2: We then went after the ship. We hit it with
- 5:54Speaker 2: a missile. The first missile went right through the engine room,
- 5:57Speaker 2: completely disabled the ship completely disabled. It were one shot.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Our helicopters flew right to the ship. US Marines repelled
- 6:06Speaker 2: down under the ship took total control of it immediately.
- 6:09Speaker 2: This all happened in a second President Trump putting out
- 6:13Speaker 2: a statement saying that right now US Marines have custody
- 6:16Speaker 2: of this vessel. It violated the sanctions US Treasury sanctions,
- 6:22Speaker 2: and because of their prior history of your legal activity,
- 6:24Speaker 2: we have taken full custody of the ship and everything
- 6:28Speaker 2: on it. So I don't think it's going to try
- 6:30Speaker 2: crossing that blockade again. So that'll happen today. The other
- 6:34Speaker 2: thing that will happen today is Kevin Walsh is the
- 6:36Speaker 2: nominee for the new FED chairman, and he's going to
- 6:39Speaker 2: have hearings today and you're going to see all hell
- 6:43Speaker 2: break loose in these hearings. Now, you got to remember Republicans,
- 6:48Speaker 2: they're not very good at hearings. They don't know what
- 6:49Speaker 2: to do. But these Democrats are brilliant in hearings. They
- 6:53Speaker 2: know how to create viral video. They huff and puff
- 6:56Speaker 2: and yell and scream and they carry on. Makes for
- 6:59Speaker 2: quite a show. You'll be seeing this all over the place.
- 7:02Speaker 2: The star will be Elizabeth Warren. She will yell and
- 7:06Speaker 2: scream at Kevin Warres. She's a very good guy. He's
- 7:08Speaker 2: a quiet guy. He's perfectly qualified as to be the
- 7:12Speaker 2: FED chairman. There were a bunch of choices. There was
- 7:15Speaker 2: Kevin Hassett, and there was Scott Bessett, but they're needed
- 7:18Speaker 2: in the White House, more valuable in the White House.
- 7:20Speaker 2: So it came down to Kevin Warresh, who's a great choice.
- 7:23Speaker 2: He'll be fine. They're gonna yell and scream, Elizabeth Warren,
- 7:27Speaker 2: you're gonna see it tonight all over the place. She'll
- 7:29Speaker 2: call them all kinds of names. She's gonna yell and
- 7:31Speaker 2: scream about. He's in the Epstein files. Does nothing bad nothing.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Everybody's in the Epstein files. Elizabeth Warren is mentioned four
- 7:38Speaker 2: hundred times in the Epstein files. Doesn't mean he had
- 7:41Speaker 2: anything to do with Epstein. I'm mentioned six times in
- 7:44Speaker 2: the Epstein files. I have nothing to do with the guy.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It happens all the time, so that'll happen. He's a
- 7:52Speaker 2: wealthy guy. He's worth about one hundred million, married to
- 7:54Speaker 2: a wealthy woman, wealthy family. So she'll yell and scream
- 7:58Speaker 2: about that. They'll argue about FED independence. That must be
- 8:03Speaker 2: totally independent. It doesn't have to be that independent. There
- 8:07Speaker 2: is a Republican Tom Tillis, who has vowed to block
- 8:12Speaker 2: the nomination. Here's the problem with all of that. There
- 8:15Speaker 2: could be a deadlock twelve to twelve. His problem is
- 8:23Speaker 2: he wants the federal government to drop the probe against
- 8:27Speaker 2: Jerome Powell. The president in the fighting with Jerome Powell.
- 8:31Speaker 2: His administration has started to investigate Powell. He's probably not
- 8:35Speaker 2: a crook. It's probably not something you need to investigate.
- 8:38Speaker 2: But even if he's not a crook, well maybe he
- 8:40Speaker 2: should investigate it. What happened was they built the new
- 8:42Speaker 2: fed building. Trump is an absolute world class expert on
- 8:46Speaker 2: this stuff, looked over the building, went through it and said,
- 8:50Speaker 2: this is about maybe eight nine hundred million worth of
- 8:52Speaker 2: stuff here. They spent something like three billions, So where'd
- 8:55Speaker 2: the other two billion go? That's worth an investigation. You
- 8:59Speaker 2: don't have to personally investigate Powell. That maybe broaden the
- 9:03Speaker 2: investigation out a little. So we'll keep an eye on
- 9:06Speaker 2: that today. You know, this is hard to believe. Tim
- 9:11Speaker 2: Cook took over from Steve Jobs. Tim Cook has been
- 9:14Speaker 2: the chairman of Apple for I thought a few years.
- 9:18Speaker 2: It turns out it's a lot of years. Tim Cook
- 9:20Speaker 2: is now sixty five. He's reached retirement age. It's hard
- 9:23Speaker 2: to bully boy. Time really goes by. Tim Cook is
- 9:27Speaker 2: stepping down as CEO September one. He's sixty five already
- 9:33Speaker 2: and stepping down. Wow, So he'll transition to the role
- 9:39Speaker 2: of executive chairman. They've picked the new CEO. It's John Turnus.
- 9:43Speaker 2: He's fifty, been at Apple for like twenty five years,
- 9:48Speaker 2: and he's a real hardware guy. He's very good at
- 9:50Speaker 2: the hardware, and that's really Apple's main business is hardware
- 9:53Speaker 2: creating devices. He was very, very big and crucial on
- 9:57Speaker 2: the development of the iPhone and all that. So and
- 10:01Speaker 2: give Tim Cook credit. When Tim Cook took over as chairman,
- 10:05Speaker 2: the company was worth three hundred and fifty billion. Today
- 10:09Speaker 2: it's worth four trillion. So that's a pretty good run.
- 10:12Speaker 2: That's not bad at all. Hey, you know you got
- 10:16Speaker 2: the Swallwell, you got these congressmen, the sexual harassment, rape charge,
- 10:24Speaker 2: all this kind of stuff, all these kind of shenanigans.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Now there's a Republican two that's got some problems. So
- 10:31Speaker 2: there's a Senate Ethics Committee, which is basically a fake thing.
- 10:35Speaker 2: You know, they always remember now Franklin got into trouble.
- 10:37Speaker 2: He was very proud to say, I've turned it right
- 10:40Speaker 2: over to the Senate Ethics Committee. I want them to investigate. Well,
- 10:43Speaker 2: the Senate Ethics Committee, when they investigate, they'll investigate, but
- 10:46Speaker 2: they do nothing about it. That's why Franken and others
- 10:49Speaker 2: love to have it go to the Senate Ethics Committee
- 10:52Speaker 2: because even if they find all this stuff, all they
- 10:56Speaker 2: do is send you a letter. You just get a letter.
- 10:58Speaker 2: It's like a warning. That's all it is. But there's
- 11:01Speaker 2: been a push to have them release who they've been
- 11:03Speaker 2: investigating through the years, who had a real sexual harassment, rape,
- 11:08Speaker 2: all kinds of misconduct, who had Well they released it
- 11:11Speaker 2: it was twenty eight names. There's twenty eight senators they've
- 11:15Speaker 2: had to investigate. I mean in a lot of bad stuff.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Democrats win with fourteen, Republicans had twelve. I know, you say,
- 11:24Speaker 2: wait a minute, that doesn't add up to twenty eight. Well,
- 11:26Speaker 2: some of them had multiple investigations. Remember I'll see Hastings,
- 11:31Speaker 2: Democrat from Florida. He got investigated a few times a
- 11:35Speaker 2: few different incidents through the years. So pretty bad stuff.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Now the Mets play later today. I think it's tonight.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Seven o'clock. The Mets are oh and eleven. They've just
- 11:48Speaker 2: all lost eleven games in a row, and some people
- 11:54Speaker 2: believe it's the curse. This mister met who was cutet
- 12:00Speaker 2: there missus met too, I think, and they walk around
- 12:03Speaker 2: they were up here in our hallways and they see you.
- 12:07Speaker 2: They wave and they shake your hand. That's about it.
- 12:09Speaker 2: When it was Mom, Donnie, they're hugging him and kissing him.
- 12:12Speaker 2: It was so this went very very viral. Friend Sid
- 12:16Speaker 2: Rosenberg started it and went super viral, and then he
- 12:20Speaker 2: put a curse on it, like the Sid curse, and
- 12:23Speaker 2: others put the curse on him, and it seems to
- 12:26Speaker 2: have worked. Since that day, the Mets have lost eleven
- 12:30Speaker 2: in a row. That's a long streak. That's one of
- 12:32Speaker 2: the longest. I think that's the longest streak in twenty years.
- 12:35Speaker 2: And tonight they play again, Will it be twelve games
- 12:38Speaker 2: in a row. I don't bet it. Will I bet
- 12:41Speaker 2: they lose twelve in a row. You know, they're now
- 12:42Speaker 2: the last place Mets. They're in the last place. And
- 12:45Speaker 2: I don't know what you do about this. I mean,
- 12:49Speaker 2: this would be a hell of a coincidence. The hugging
- 12:51Speaker 2: and kissing Mom Donnie. Next thing, you know, you'll lose
- 12:53Speaker 2: eleven in a row, could be twelve in a row.
- 12:55Speaker 2: What do you do about it? I don't know. Have
- 13:02Speaker 2: have Curtis come down, he was the Republican candidate. Have
- 13:05Speaker 2: Curtis come down and hug him? Uh, And then you could,
- 13:10Speaker 2: I guess you'd have to have Cuomo to the indivent.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Nobody wants to hug Cuomo and who knows. You know,
- 13:14Speaker 2: he gets a little touchy feely there, missus met You
- 13:17Speaker 2: better stay back a little, but we'll see tonight. Keep
- 13:21Speaker 2: an eye on that game. Hey, Bruce Blakeman has a
- 13:24Speaker 2: great new ad out. It's kind of visual, you got
- 13:27Speaker 2: to really see it. But he's going after Kathy Hokeel
- 13:31Speaker 2: and you know, she's just awful, just terrible. And I'm
- 13:35Speaker 2: there'll be a lot of ads. There's so many things
- 13:37Speaker 2: you can get her for. But one of the first
- 13:40Speaker 2: was when it comes to taxes. I don't think Mom,
- 13:44Speaker 2: Donnie or Hokele understands anything about how we tax people
- 13:49Speaker 2: or how we collect taxes. You know, they love to
- 13:51Speaker 2: yell and screen tax to billionaires pay their fair share.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I mean, maybe they're just lying, but I don't think
- 13:57Speaker 2: they know. I don't think they've ever looked at the
- 13:59Speaker 2: number these wealthy billionaires pay most of the tax. They
- 14:03Speaker 2: pay way beyond their fair share. You know, the top
- 14:07Speaker 2: one percent pays like forty percent of our taxes. That's
- 14:11Speaker 2: kind of ridiculous. I mean, they basically pay it all.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Without them, you got nothing. They overpay like crazy, and
- 14:18Speaker 2: that's good, and maybe they should they can afford to.
- 14:20Speaker 2: But right now they're overpaying like crazy, and that makes
- 14:23Speaker 2: up for the people who don't pay any tax. But
- 14:25Speaker 2: so Hochel a couple of years ago, was yelling and
- 14:29Speaker 2: screaming for all you billionaires, or you'd Mago or you'd
- 14:32Speaker 2: Trump billionaires, get the hell out of New York, moved
- 14:34Speaker 2: to Florida, go away, don't ever come back. Well a
- 14:38Speaker 2: lot of them did, and we lost a huge amount
- 14:40Speaker 2: of tax revenue. So now she's saying, you know, please
- 14:43Speaker 2: come back. She actually even said, tell your friends to
- 14:45Speaker 2: go to Florida and tell them to come back, get
- 14:47Speaker 2: them back here. So Blakeman has put this together. You
- 14:49Speaker 2: have to watch it. It's up on my Twitter. You
- 14:51Speaker 2: can see it there. It's really visual. You got to
- 14:53Speaker 2: see the cliffs and it's got music and you got
- 14:55Speaker 2: to see the visuals on it. But it's a great
- 14:58Speaker 2: commercial and let me see if I can play it.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Hang on a second, it's here somewhere. I'll find it.
- 15:04Speaker 2: It's in my phone. I think this is it. Wait,
- 15:09Speaker 2: hang on, dog, you got to lent me.
- 15:14Speaker 3: No shoot, I stay, you shoot, I go.
- 15:20Speaker 2: You gotta watch the videos, great beautiful pictures and stuff
- 15:24Speaker 2: going with it. The end, moving vans, So you've.
- 15:30Speaker 3: Got to lent me.
- 15:31Speaker 2: No shoot, stay, shoot, I go. They sold.
- 15:41Speaker 1: First step. Should we go down to Palm Beach?
- 15:43Speaker 4: Where you see who can bring back home?
- 15:45Speaker 1: Because our tax space has been writing it's fine.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta watch it. It's up on my Twitter
- 15:49Speaker 2: if you want to see it. But pretty interesting that
- 15:52Speaker 2: she's telling people to leave, just leave, get the hell
- 15:54Speaker 2: out of here. She says, move to Florida. Now it's
- 15:57Speaker 2: a year later. They moved to Florida two years later,
- 15:59Speaker 2: and she's begging them to come back. I don't think
- 16:01Speaker 2: I don't think mom Donnie has ever looked at the
- 16:04Speaker 2: tax numbers. It sounds good to tax the billionaires, to
- 16:08Speaker 2: go after Trump, tax the billionaires. I don't think he's
- 16:11Speaker 2: ever said that any experts bring in the numbers. Let
- 16:13Speaker 2: me see where we get most of our tax revenue for.
- 16:16Speaker 2: You know, if you ran a restaurant, you do all
- 16:18Speaker 2: these metrics, who's our biggest customers? Where are we getting
- 16:20Speaker 2: the most revenue from? And you cater to that crowd.
- 16:23Speaker 2: And that's what you're supposed to do in government. That's
- 16:25Speaker 2: what any business would do. You cater to them and
- 16:27Speaker 2: make sure they stay anyway. Hey, well we'll take some
- 16:31Speaker 2: calls in a moment. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 16:34Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 16:37Speaker 2: zero seven ten.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Get hits and.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Access to Mark by setting a pre set in the
- 16:43Speaker 2: iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast. Now
- 16:47Speaker 2: back to the Mark Simone Show on woo Hey, are
- 16:53Speaker 2: your allergies really bad? Like last week? All it's brutal,
- 16:57Speaker 2: but a little better now. It turns out we've had
- 16:59Speaker 2: no rain, very very very little rain for a couple
- 17:02Speaker 2: of weeks, and that's what whatever that stuff is, the pollen,
- 17:05Speaker 2: the dandard, whatever, it's all over the place. So it
- 17:07Speaker 2: did rain on Sunday. When it rains, it kind of
- 17:10Speaker 2: calms all that stuff down, So that helped a little.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Now we're having a couple of dry days. It's going
- 17:15Speaker 2: to rain Wednesday or Thursday. But that'll be good. It'll
- 17:19Speaker 2: gets rid of all that all that pollen. Let's take
- 17:22Speaker 2: some calls it to go to Duke Sarasota, Florida. Duke,
- 17:25Speaker 2: how you doing. Now, that's a great name. If I
- 17:30Speaker 2: if I had to pick a name, that's a pretty
- 17:32Speaker 2: cool name.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Duke.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Is that really your name?
- 17:35Speaker 6: You could borrow it, I mean you could use it,
- 17:37Speaker 6: do it while you're still, you know, breaking into show business.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yeah, Duke, I like that tough, cool name.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Hey, there was a congressman about thirteen years ago. His
- 17:50Speaker 6: intern was jogging one morning in Washington, d C.
- 17:53Speaker 2: And uh oh yeah it Content was I forgot his name? Content?
- 17:58Speaker 2: Was it Gary Content?
- 18:00Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 18:00Speaker 6: Yeah, he was from California. And yeah, I wonder if
- 18:03Speaker 6: they were located the perpetrator of that.
- 18:07Speaker 2: No, I think it was. It was like right the
- 18:12Speaker 2: week before nine to eleven.
- 18:13Speaker 6: Right exactly right, you know.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, because it was the biggest story in America.
- 18:20Speaker 2: This congressman was sleeping with his intern and she vanished
- 18:24Speaker 2: and did they you know, they found her in the park, right, yeah. Yeah,
- 18:29Speaker 2: So the biggest scandal ever. I think the guy was innocent.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I think he had nothing to do with killing her.
- 18:34Speaker 2: But it was the biggest scandal. It was front page
- 18:37Speaker 2: News twenty four sevens all everybody's talking. He was It
- 18:40Speaker 2: was terrible to say, but he was very He was
- 18:42Speaker 2: so happy about nine to eleven. Because the second had happened,
- 18:45Speaker 2: he was never mentioned again. It took him right out
- 18:47Speaker 2: of the news. I do recall that if it hadn't
- 18:50Speaker 2: been for that, they still would have been going after
- 18:52Speaker 2: Remember the great writer Dominic Dunn, who was, you know,
- 18:57Speaker 2: the big crime guy with the OJA. He went after
- 18:59Speaker 2: Gary Content and he's the one that really pushed that theory.
- 19:04Speaker 2: And the then Condent sued Dominic done. And I think
- 19:07Speaker 2: there was a massive settlement there. Uh, because Dominic Dunn
- 19:11Speaker 2: was on.
- 19:12Speaker 6: My show all the way around.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Dominic Dun was always on my show. And
- 19:16Speaker 2: then he started in on Gary Condan. I always had
- 19:19Speaker 2: to stop him and bleep him and tell him, don't
- 19:21Speaker 2: you're gonna get sued again. Stop it. I got to
- 19:23Speaker 2: look it up.
- 19:23Speaker 6: See if you say, you do a great show, thank
- 19:26Speaker 6: you for everything? And uh, I listen every day.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Oh you got a radio now, wow, look at you.
- 19:33Speaker 6: No, I listen the phone on the listen, Yeah, bring
- 19:36Speaker 6: it down from New York. I couldn't sit in my my,
- 19:39Speaker 6: uh my little car to move everything I needed.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Yeah, most people listen, not most, but probably half our
- 19:46Speaker 2: audience listens on the phone. Now just download the iHeart app,
- 19:49Speaker 2: Gary Duke, great call, thanks for calling. Uh yeah, I
- 19:52Speaker 2: listened to be honest, I listened on the phone all
- 19:54Speaker 2: the time of the radio. Infact, the other day, all
- 19:56Speaker 2: sudden the internet went after there was no signal. I'm
- 19:59Speaker 2: listening to the show. How I was going crack. Couldn't
- 20:01Speaker 2: feel what to do. I said, forgot, I could just
- 20:03Speaker 2: turn the radio on. I got twelve radios. I got
- 20:06Speaker 2: just turn one of them on. Let's go to Patrick
- 20:09Speaker 2: in New York City. Patrick, how you doing.
- 20:12Speaker 5: In Mark? A big story this morning you probably know of.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Alan Dershowitz announced that he's becoming a Republican. He's leaving
- 20:19Speaker 5: the Democratic Party, And to quote him, I heard him
- 20:21Speaker 5: interviewed this morning. He said, I'm leaving the party because
- 20:24Speaker 5: it is crazy, as Trump said, and we just cannot
- 20:28Speaker 5: allow the Democrat parton to take control of Congress. Also,
- 20:31Speaker 5: he's become a Yankee fan, leaving the Red Sox.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Yeah, big news. He's not a huge baseball fan, but
- 20:38Speaker 2: he's a great guy and he should leave. The Democrats
- 20:41Speaker 2: were so awful to him. You know, he wasn't a
- 20:44Speaker 2: Trump supporter, he wasn't a Trump voter. He voted for Obama,
- 20:47Speaker 2: he voted for Biden, he voted for he voted for Hillary.
- 20:51Speaker 2: And then when Trump got impeached the first time, was
- 20:53Speaker 2: totally dishonest, corrupt, unfair impeachment. And he offered to defend him.
- 20:58Speaker 2: That's what a good lawyer does. And so the whole
- 20:59Speaker 2: Democratic world came down on him. They wouldn't talk to him,
- 21:02Speaker 2: they ostracized him. I don't blame him. Well, thanks for
- 21:05Speaker 2: exactly exactly, all right, thanks. Hey, I'm just looking it
- 21:08Speaker 2: up here, Gary kandit. Yeah he's still alive. He's seventy
- 21:16Speaker 2: seventy eight years old. And yeah, he was from California.
- 21:21Speaker 2: He was a congressman that oh I forgot her name.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Yeah it was Levy, Chandra Levy with the young woman,
- 21:28Speaker 2: the intern, having that affair. So yeah, her death remains unsolved.
- 21:35Speaker 2: So he's having an affair with this young intern. She
- 21:39Speaker 2: ends up dead in the park near his house. Who
- 21:42Speaker 2: knows what happened in Rock Creek Park. She ends up dead,
- 21:47Speaker 2: and they believe now it was an undocumented immigrant illegal
- 21:52Speaker 2: from Al Salvador who had already been convicted of two
- 21:56Speaker 2: other attacks in that park, so it was probably him.
- 21:59Speaker 2: But for a while, boy was this guy. This guy
- 22:02Speaker 2: could not turn on anything, television, radio, newspaper, anything without
- 22:07Speaker 2: seeing his name. That's all anybody talked about. You know,
- 22:10Speaker 2: when you're in that situation, when it's just twenty four
- 22:13Speaker 2: to seven, that all they're doing is talking about you
- 22:15Speaker 2: being a murderer. You just can't make it stop. You
- 22:18Speaker 2: go crazy. It's unbelievable when you're in that kind of
- 22:21Speaker 2: situation and you think, what could ever stop this from?
- 22:26Speaker 2: How do I get this off the air? What can
- 22:27Speaker 2: you do? You talk to crisis consultancy, Well, there's no
- 22:30Speaker 2: way to get it off the air, and then it's unbelievable.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Nine to eleven occurred that next Tuesday morning, and then
- 22:39Speaker 2: he was never mentioned again. He never forgot any mentioned
- 22:42Speaker 2: again ever on the airwaves. It was all forgotten about.
- 22:45Speaker 2: But he's still alive, and that doesn't really say what
- 22:47Speaker 2: he does now. He gets involved in local politics. His
- 22:51Speaker 2: son and daughter wanted to get into politics. Hey, I
- 22:55Speaker 2: don't know why, but hey anyway, So we'll talk to
- 22:58Speaker 2: the brilliant columnist list next. Kevin warsh is hopefully going
- 23:03Speaker 2: to be the new FED chairman. I'm sure he will be,
- 23:05Speaker 2: but they're going to put him through hell today and
- 23:07Speaker 2: these hearings. We'll talk about that and more just ahead
- 23:11Speaker 2: on seven to ten.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Woor talking about everything you care about, Marks the Moones
- 23:17Speaker 3: on WR.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Well, Lizpeak, the brilliant columnist. You can read her at
- 23:23Speaker 2: the Fox News and lots of other great places. But
- 23:27Speaker 2: the best thing is go to our website. In fact,
- 23:30Speaker 2: if you go there, get the best news in analysis
- 23:33Speaker 2: and you can sign up for the daily email come
- 23:36Speaker 2: right to you, giving you great stories news analysis. Just
- 23:38Speaker 2: go to lizpeak dot com lizpeak dot com, make sure
- 23:43Speaker 2: you sign up there, Liz Peak. How you doing well.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I'm terrific and I'm happy to join you. Like everyone else,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm on Iran Watch, so you know, minute by minute
- 23:54Speaker 1: mark we're kind of trying to figure out what's going on.
- 23:57Speaker 1: And you know, investors are very optimistic that this all
- 24:02Speaker 1: this war is going to come to a close. Oil
- 24:04Speaker 1: prices are going to come down.
- 24:05Speaker 5: I hope that's right.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Well, when we started that blockade the Strait of Hermus,
- 24:11Speaker 2: it was brilliant because it basically affects Europe and China
- 24:15Speaker 2: and everywhere else. We got plenty of oil. In fact,
- 24:18Speaker 2: we might make money off it because now people have
- 24:20Speaker 2: to start buying from us. We're the biggest oil supplier then.
- 24:23Speaker 2: And in the end, don't you think this will all
- 24:26Speaker 2: work out? In fact, they'll also they'll start building these pipelines,
- 24:29Speaker 2: so we won't depend on that straight anymore. A year
- 24:31Speaker 2: from now, we're going to be very happy with the
- 24:33Speaker 2: way it turned out, aren't we.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I think so. I mean, I think yes. I'm optimistic
- 24:38Speaker 1: that we'll have a decent peace agreement with Iran. I'm
- 24:45Speaker 1: really tired of going on social media and saying and
- 24:47Speaker 1: seeing people talking about how great the deal was that
- 24:51Speaker 1: Obama struck with Iran, because I actually remember that deal,
- 24:55Speaker 1: and the reason he never submitted it to Congress for
- 24:58Speaker 1: approval is that everyone and understood that it was incredibly
- 25:02Speaker 1: as Netanyahu said, it was not something an agreement that
- 25:07Speaker 1: would prohibit the development of a nuclear weapon. It was
- 25:10Speaker 1: a pathway to a nuclear weapon for Iran. And it
- 25:13Speaker 1: was true. You know, the idea that Iran was going
- 25:18Speaker 1: to comply with the requirements of an open inspection and
- 25:22Speaker 1: so forth of their nuclear sites, where repeatedly leading up
- 25:26Speaker 1: to that negotiation they had refused entry to international inspections
- 25:33Speaker 1: of their commercial size, not to mention, they had hidden
- 25:37Speaker 1: all their military nuclear sites from the public. You know,
- 25:42Speaker 1: at the time and the signing of the agreement, nobody
- 25:44Speaker 1: even knew what they were doing in terms of military
- 25:47Speaker 1: preparedness for a nuclear bomb. And you know, recently the
- 25:52Speaker 1: reporting by CBS and others have confirmed they went right
- 25:55Speaker 1: ahead creating enriching uranium. There was never any intention to
- 26:02Speaker 1: stop doing that. So it was just there was basically
- 26:07Speaker 1: built in a sort of tenure moratorium, and then Iran
- 26:10Speaker 1: was basically permitted to get a nuclear weapon. By the way,
- 26:13Speaker 1: this idea that our allies had signed onto it, well,
- 26:16Speaker 1: they did because Germany and France and others had big
- 26:20Speaker 1: commercial interests in Iran, and they had no interest at
- 26:22Speaker 1: all in putting their economies on the line or even
- 26:26Speaker 1: dinging their economies by withdrawing from what was then a
- 26:30Speaker 1: pretty active buyer of their industrial goods. So, I don't know,
- 26:34Speaker 1: revisionism in this case is pretty sickening. Honestly, if we
- 26:38Speaker 1: can end up not only removing the enrichment capabilities from
- 26:44Speaker 1: Iran and the enriched uranium, and also determining that they
- 26:50Speaker 1: cannot have such a huge inventory thousands of missiles that
- 26:54Speaker 1: are capable of hitting Europe. And if we somehow can
- 26:58Speaker 1: guarantee that the Strait of Removed will never again be
- 27:01Speaker 1: closed by speedboats with machine guns, that will be an
- 27:04Speaker 1: unbelievable victory. Mark, and I don't think it's impossible.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Yeah, there's also another thing, you know, we were always
- 27:10Speaker 2: terrified of. We're so afraid of Iran, you know, well,
- 27:13Speaker 2: you can never tangle with them. Even during the Iraq Wars,
- 27:16Speaker 2: the thought of getting Iran involved that was a frightening
- 27:19Speaker 2: trying to tangle this. Yeah, well, now that we've gone
- 27:21Speaker 2: after them all out war, we see they've got nothing.
- 27:24Speaker 2: They're just totally ineffective against us. And I think kind
- 27:29Speaker 2: of we learned the same thing about this Russian army
- 27:31Speaker 2: watching Ukraine hold them off for five years. So the
- 27:36Speaker 2: psychological effect isn't that great to really change things for us?
- 27:39Speaker 1: Well, And I would say the flip side of that
- 27:42Speaker 1: is that the United States military, over several activities in
- 27:47Speaker 1: the last couple of years has proved themselves probably way
- 27:50Speaker 1: beyond expectation. I mean, if the Chinese were not alarmed
- 27:55Speaker 1: by the ability of the US military to go into
- 27:59Speaker 1: Venezuela and snatch Maduro from a very heavily armed fortress
- 28:05Speaker 1: basically without any problem whatsoever, if they were not concerned
- 28:11Speaker 1: about the combined forces of the US and Israel taking
- 28:17Speaker 1: out the nuclear sites in Iran a year ago, they
- 28:20Speaker 1: sure heck have to be pretty terrified to see the
- 28:25Speaker 1: utter obliteration of Iran's military capabilities in the Latin what
- 28:32Speaker 1: forty days. I mean, it's an unbelievable achievement. And I
- 28:36Speaker 1: would think President she who, by the way, finally piped
- 28:39Speaker 1: up yesterday and said enough, let's open the Strait of Hormuz.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Thank you. Yes, where's he been? I think he's got
- 28:46Speaker 1: to be reassessing whatever he thought about American willingness to
- 28:50Speaker 1: go into Taiwan. Now he knows if we do decide
- 28:53Speaker 1: to counter some aggressive aggression on his part, boyle boy,
- 28:59Speaker 1: can we do it?
- 29:00Speaker 2: Liz Peak today is officially beat up Kevin warsh Day
- 29:04Speaker 2: in Washington.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Sure, he's I think a good choice for the FED chairman.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I think you'd agree, And what should he do to
- 29:12Speaker 2: get through these hearings today?
- 29:14Speaker 1: Just keep his mouth shut and just don't rise to
- 29:16Speaker 1: the bait with Elizabeth Warren hectoring him about being Trump's puppet,
- 29:21Speaker 1: et cetera, as she did in the last couple of days.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Just let it roll off his back. He knows who
- 29:26Speaker 1: he is. He knows and they know. The Democrats on
- 29:30Speaker 1: the committee know that he has a long fine reputation
- 29:33Speaker 1: as an inflation hawk. What does he want to do.
- 29:36Speaker 1: He wants to bring in the rain in the balance
- 29:40Speaker 1: sheet of the Fed. That's obviously hawkish, not dubbish. We'll
- 29:44Speaker 1: see what happens here. I think President Trump did a
- 29:48Speaker 1: foolish thing and going after J. Powell legally, and now
- 29:52Speaker 1: Tom Tillis is refusing to vote for Kevin Worsh until
- 29:56Speaker 1: that issue is resolved. Trump should resolve it and back way.
- 30:00Speaker 1: That's just a foolish undertaking. But I think Kevin Worsh
- 30:03Speaker 1: will be a good a good change agent at the FED.
- 30:08Speaker 1: He's not such interest in interest rates. Obviously, he wants
- 30:11Speaker 1: to reform the FED. He wants to reform how we
- 30:14Speaker 1: go about their business, what kind of approach they take
- 30:16Speaker 1: to monetary policy. You know, he has sort of revived
- 30:21Speaker 1: the idea of setting rules in place for sort of
- 30:24Speaker 1: automatic adjustments in our interest rate policy based on not
- 30:29Speaker 1: the winds of the chair or the members of the board,
- 30:32Speaker 1: but actual, you know, data, sort of rule associated with
- 30:39Speaker 1: the growth of the economy. In other words, put in
- 30:41Speaker 1: place measures that will get away from the sort of
- 30:45Speaker 1: stop start behavior and often wrong footed behavior of fed's
- 30:50Speaker 1: chairs and bodies over the last thirty years. I remember
- 30:54Speaker 1: going to an Economic Club meeting years and years ago
- 30:57Speaker 1: and Henry Paulson stood up and said, the Fed's been
- 30:59Speaker 1: wrong for thirty five years. And I kind of thought
- 31:01Speaker 1: at the time, God, can that really be true? And
- 31:03Speaker 1: then I went back and looked for a lot.
- 31:04Speaker 6: Of the history.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Guess what it's true. So if something needs to change,
- 31:09Speaker 1: and I think Kevin Worris could be a very very
- 31:12Speaker 1: bright light in terms of exposing the inadequacy of the FED,
- 31:16Speaker 1: the wrong the fact that they're chasing rainbows and DEI
- 31:21Speaker 1: and climate issues as opposed to really kind of paying
- 31:24Speaker 1: attention to what they need to watch.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Yeh, Hey, as far as that investigation, what I would do,
- 31:29Speaker 2: take your own pal's name out of it. Just take
- 31:31Speaker 2: his name off that the new FED building should have
- 31:34Speaker 2: been about eight hundred and nine hundred million. They spent
- 31:36Speaker 2: like two three billion just run an investigation into the project.
- 31:39Speaker 2: It's because it would be a good start to go
- 31:41Speaker 2: and after government waste, what happened to the extra two billion.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I agree with you. I think that's a really good idea,
- 31:48Speaker 1: and because it is kind of a classic example of
- 31:53Speaker 1: a government project just getting out of control. And my
- 31:56Speaker 1: guess is no oversight. I mean, you know, Mark, when
- 31:59Speaker 1: I drove to Kennedy Airport last week, there's a construction
- 32:03Speaker 1: project along that road. It's been underway for at least
- 32:06Speaker 1: twelve years. I talked to my driver about it. Twelve years,
- 32:09Speaker 1: and I'm sure it has cost a fortune. Who's watching it,
- 32:12Speaker 1: who's taking care of the taxpayer interest? Here? Not to
- 32:15Speaker 1: mention that tens of thousands of poor schlumps who drive
- 32:19Speaker 1: that road every day on their way to work.
- 32:21Speaker 6: It's a horror show.
- 32:23Speaker 1: And the same thing with the FED building. You know,
- 32:25Speaker 1: Americans are far too patient. We put up with far
- 32:28Speaker 1: too much and do not demand accountability. If there's one
- 32:32Speaker 1: thing that Trump could bring in the next three years
- 32:35Speaker 1: of his administration and leave it is a sense of accountability.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I gotta say I love what they're doing about going
- 32:42Speaker 1: after waste and fraud. It should have been done years ago.
- 32:45Speaker 1: But you know, let's turn a spotlight on places where
- 32:49Speaker 1: people are really stealing government money or just wasting it,
- 32:52Speaker 1: because that's my money, and it's your money, it's everybody's money,
- 32:56Speaker 1: and it should be it should be a matter of
- 32:58Speaker 1: greater focus.
- 33:00Speaker 2: You know, Andrew Cuomoa loves to brag about that new
- 33:02Speaker 2: LaGuardia terminal. It costs twenty billion. Everybody says it's a
- 33:06Speaker 2: one billion dollar terminal. We'd spend an extra nineteen billion
- 33:09Speaker 2: on it. But you're right, investigate all this stuff.
- 33:14Speaker 1: If you remember Mark, when President Trump started running for
- 33:17Speaker 1: office back in fifteen or whatever, he talked about I
- 33:21Speaker 1: think it was the embassy in Israel or the embassy
- 33:24Speaker 1: in London. I forget which one where they were going
- 33:26Speaker 1: to spend, you know, hundreds of millions of dollars. And
- 33:31Speaker 1: he said, you know, I went in and there was
- 33:32Speaker 1: a building and we kind of figured out what we
- 33:34Speaker 1: could do, and it was I don't know, it's like
- 33:36Speaker 1: a fraction of what his predecessor had wanted to spend.
- 33:40Speaker 1: That's the kind of common sense language that Americans are
- 33:45Speaker 1: very very happy to hear because we do not hear
- 33:48Speaker 1: it nearly enough.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Liz Peak, great work. As always, everybody, go

- 34:54Speaker 2: I've just been offered a very big job. I just
- 34:56Speaker 2: got this text. I don't know I don't even recognize it.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I got a text, good morning, I am Jennifer from
- 35:02Speaker 2: Robert Half. There is a career prospect available that matches
- 35:07Speaker 2: your background. May I share the compensation details text? Okay,
- 35:13Speaker 2: if you would like to see it now. There are
- 35:16Speaker 2: people that fall for these things, these stupid spam things.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Sounds crazy, but some people fall for this stuff. They
- 35:25Speaker 2: don't know any better. They never said this as well.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Wait a minute, I don't think this is how they
- 35:29Speaker 2: hire people. They don't even seem to know my name,
- 35:33Speaker 2: sending anonymous texts. I don't know. That's not sorry, I
- 35:38Speaker 2: had to sneeze. That's not usually the way it's done,
- 35:41Speaker 2: but those allergies. But I guess, I guess some people.
- 35:46Speaker 2: I mean, if they send us to a million people
- 35:49Speaker 2: and only four hundred fall for it, well that's enough
- 35:51Speaker 2: to make some money off of it. I guess. Hey,
- 35:55Speaker 2: lots of stuff going on. Boston Marathon was yesterday. You know,
- 35:58Speaker 2: you got the New York Marathon, of course we're the
- 36:00Speaker 2: biggest city, and they got the London Tokyo. But there's
- 36:04Speaker 2: it was always considered the first and greatest marathon. The
- 36:07Speaker 2: Boston Marathon winner yesterday.
- 36:09Speaker 8: Big Wah is the word for champion in swahily John
- 36:14Speaker 8: Career Tuah one fifty two Big Wah Boston Marathon champion
- 36:22Speaker 8: in twenty twenty six, back to back for John Career.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Right, yeah, it's swa Healey's. There's no such thing as
- 36:30Speaker 2: an American. Remember they used to have Americans who could
- 36:32Speaker 2: run impossible. Now if you went to Africa and Kenya
- 36:37Speaker 2: and they have a marathon, is it all Americans winning
- 36:39Speaker 2: over there? I don't think it works both ways. Yeah,
- 36:42Speaker 2: we stink it running every other country beats us like crazy. Hey,
- 36:45Speaker 2: we got a lot to get to in the next
- 36:47Speaker 2: hour within all of these Obamas up too. We'll get
- 36:49Speaker 2: to that. We'll get to President Trump. Little controversy from
- 36:52Speaker 2: the left, believe it or not about his interview, that
- 36:55Speaker 2: and more. Just ahead, another hour to go here on
- 36:58Speaker 2: seven ten wor Mark Simone and we'll be back right
- 37:02Speaker 2: after the news. He's always a headline. I had Mark
- 37:06Speaker 2: Simmo seven to ten wo R. So the negotiations will
- 37:15Speaker 2: continue today. They'll resume today. Actually it's Iran as a
- 37:19Speaker 2: negotiating team there meeting with our negotiators Witkoff, Jared Kushner
- 37:23Speaker 2: and Vice President Vance. The negotiations now here's what Iran
- 37:26Speaker 2: strategy is. Well, you see, our problem is we make
- 37:32Speaker 2: great negotiating progress with the negotiators and what we're negotiating
- 37:40Speaker 2: with is the political leadership of Iran, and we make
- 37:44Speaker 2: progress there. But there are two factions now in Iran,
- 37:48Speaker 2: the hardline Republican Guard. This is the not the regular army,
- 37:52Speaker 2: but this is the crazy, extreme, vicious militant army, the
- 37:56Speaker 2: Republican Guard. But apparently they're in control of the weapon
- 38:00Speaker 2: right now. So while the political leadership might want to
- 38:03Speaker 2: settle this with negotiation, the hardliners with the weapons aren't
- 38:08Speaker 2: going along with it. So you've got these two factions. Now.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Iran strategy is they believe we have the same problem
- 38:14Speaker 2: here in the US. We have the political leadership, the
- 38:17Speaker 2: Trump administration, but we have a whole other side here
- 38:21Speaker 2: in America, and that's the opposition, the crazy left, who's
- 38:25Speaker 2: basically on Iran's side on most of this, and they
- 38:28Speaker 2: think that they can Something happened in Vietnam. The enemy
- 38:31Speaker 2: thought they could just get that anti war sentiment to
- 38:35Speaker 2: go way way up and it would, you know, counter
- 38:39Speaker 2: the administration. So they're hoping on that. They're counting on
- 38:43Speaker 2: that crazy Chris Murphy, the Senator from Connecticut, and you
- 38:48Speaker 2: know Tom Friedman, the New York Times writer last week
- 38:51Speaker 2: who said, you know, he doesn't want to see Iran lose.
- 38:54Speaker 2: He wants to see Iran win so it'll make Trump
- 38:56Speaker 2: look bad. That's basically what he said. And it was
- 39:01Speaker 2: revealed that a bunch of Iranian little boats got through
- 39:03Speaker 2: the blockade, and the awful senator from Connecticut, Chris Murphy tweeted,
- 39:10Speaker 2: awesome when somebody posted the information about Iran succeeding and
- 39:14Speaker 2: beating us at the block he tweeted, awesome. You're not
- 39:19Speaker 2: supposed to root for the terrorists. You're not supposed to
- 39:22Speaker 2: root for the enemy. It's caused a big stink. In fact,
- 39:28Speaker 2: it's forced him to even put out an explanation. He's
- 39:32Speaker 2: saying the awesome post was misinterpreted, it was sarcastic, it
- 39:36Speaker 2: was something. It was But that's what Iran's doing, trying
- 39:39Speaker 2: to play up that they're taking comfort, great comfort and
- 39:43Speaker 2: encouragement from the Democrats and the left, who they believe
- 39:47Speaker 2: are on their side. Do you ever hear anything that crazy?
- 39:52Speaker 2: And you know you're gonna hear all the Democrats tell
- 39:54Speaker 2: you how we're losing. We don't know what we're doing.
- 39:56Speaker 2: We're totally ineffective. This has been the most incredible war
- 40:01Speaker 2: we've ever fought. It's the most planned war in history.
- 40:04Speaker 2: We've had forty years of working on this plan. And
- 40:07Speaker 2: look how incredible it's been. What war did you ever
- 40:10Speaker 2: see where there's no casualties and we had a couple pilots.
- 40:14Speaker 2: I mean, just look at this as an example. Besides
- 40:17Speaker 2: taking out the entire leadership of Iran Day one, all
- 40:20Speaker 2: forty one top leaders, but the one time we had
- 40:25Speaker 2: a plane shot down and two pilots shot down and
- 40:27Speaker 2: they were stranded in the middle of Iran. What can
- 40:30Speaker 2: you do about that? Wow? Look at this. We send
- 40:34Speaker 2: in hundreds of people and planes, boots on the ground,
- 40:36Speaker 2: they build, They construct a temporary air base that we
- 40:41Speaker 2: only need for about twenty four hours. They build an
- 40:43Speaker 2: air base on the ground in Iran. We have a
- 40:46Speaker 2: couple hundred planes surround that air base. We create a
- 40:49Speaker 2: two mile perimeter around it and we shoot anything that
- 40:52Speaker 2: comes near there, and that gives that airbase a full
- 40:55Speaker 2: data operate, send out planes, find the pilot. It was
- 41:00Speaker 2: an amazing success. Everything here. So Hey, Trump does this
- 41:06Speaker 2: interview he agreed to go on CNBC This Morning with
- 41:09Speaker 2: Joe Kernan, And you know, CNBC is like a left wing,
- 41:13Speaker 2: really slanted place, except except for Joe Kernan and except
- 41:17Speaker 2: for maybe a couple others, but otherwise very slanted, very
- 41:21Speaker 2: anti Trump. But he goes on there and the agreed
- 41:25Speaker 2: he'll do twenty minutes, and they're asking a million questions.
- 41:29Speaker 2: At one point he said, you know what I'll do,
- 41:30Speaker 2: I'll stay as long as you want. Forget what this.
- 41:32Speaker 2: I know. My staff says, I got twenty minutes. I'll
- 41:34Speaker 2: stay as long as he answered a million questions. So
- 41:38Speaker 2: what uh? What is the left going crazy? You know
- 41:41Speaker 2: there's always something they go crazy over. So, oh, this
- 41:45Speaker 2: is the one that's going crazy over. He started talking
- 41:46Speaker 2: about Vietnam, and he it's here's the headline, media height,
- 41:50Speaker 2: this is the big left wing site. Trump blurts out
- 41:53Speaker 2: stunning claim about Vietnam, which he avoided serving. In what
- 41:58Speaker 2: was the stunning claim? He said, had you know everything
- 42:01Speaker 2: that was wrong with the Vietnam War, he said, I
- 42:03Speaker 2: would have won that thing. I would have won that.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Well that's not a stunning claim. That's Trump. You know,
- 42:08Speaker 2: he loves to brag he's always boasting. That's the salesman
- 42:11Speaker 2: in him. You brag about everything, but then they really
- 42:14Speaker 2: go after him. This is the other left wing thing.
- 42:16Speaker 2: He's a draft dodger. He avoided the war, he didn't serve. Well,
- 42:20Speaker 2: that's every president for the last few decades, every president.
- 42:24Speaker 2: That's George W. Bush, that's Bill Clinton, that's Joe Biden.
- 42:29Speaker 2: You know, the what happened says, They go through the
- 42:31Speaker 2: whole thing. He claimed he had bone spurs, even doctors
- 42:34Speaker 2: have admitted he didn't have bone spit. Well, first of all,
- 42:37Speaker 2: you'd never mentioned this with Joe Biden. Nobody got more
- 42:40Speaker 2: student deferments than Joe Biden got like seven student deferments,
- 42:45Speaker 2: and he claimed he had asthma. He got out of
- 42:48Speaker 2: Vietnam by claiming he had asthma. You know, the guy
- 42:50Speaker 2: wrote a three hundred page biography, like seventeen chapters on
- 42:54Speaker 2: his childhood. There's no mention of any asthma in there.
- 42:57Speaker 2: But he claimed that it got him out of the war.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Bill Clinton got out of it. It's just they all
- 43:02Speaker 2: avoided the draft, all of them. So it's a silly claim.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Hey all, you guys all love Dick Cheney. Now all
- 43:09Speaker 2: the left, the media. You love Dick Cheney. Remember he
- 43:12Speaker 2: was a draft dodger according to you. You kept calling
- 43:14Speaker 2: him a draft dodger. More those student deferments. So if
- 43:19Speaker 2: that's all they got to attack about the CNBC interview,
- 43:22Speaker 2: well consider it a great success.
- 43:25Speaker 6: Uh.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Stock market did back off a little, very slight. It's
- 43:28Speaker 2: not reading really a drop. It's now like fifty points.
- 43:30Speaker 2: That's after being up like a thousand points in the
- 43:33Speaker 2: last few days. So that's really nothing. Now what is it?
- 43:37Speaker 2: What the hell is Obama up to? What is this
- 43:40Speaker 2: Obama up to? Well, you know he had that big
- 43:42Speaker 2: Netflix deal. Obama leaves office makes himself five six, seven
- 43:47Speaker 2: hundred million. Some people think he's close to being a
- 43:50Speaker 2: billionaire now. He and Michelle they got all these deals
- 43:54Speaker 2: and companies overpay him like crazy, like Netflix. You know,
- 43:56Speaker 2: we'll give you one hundred million to produce shows for us.
- 44:00Speaker 2: There's nobody on earth that knows less about how to
- 44:03Speaker 2: produce television or movies than Barack and Michelle Obama. They
- 44:06Speaker 2: know absolutely nothing about this, have zero experience, but here's
- 44:11Speaker 2: one hundred million to do. It makes no sense, but
- 44:15Speaker 2: you're buying them basically. And then Michelle Obama, who can't write,
- 44:19Speaker 2: gets a book deal, and you know that kind of
- 44:21Speaker 2: book deals usually ten twelve, fifteen, maybe it's twenty million. Here,
- 44:24Speaker 2: we'll give you a forty million for a book. It's
- 44:26Speaker 2: a way of buying them. And then you got Barack
- 44:29Speaker 2: and Michelle Obama for whatever you need. You need them
- 44:31Speaker 2: to come talk to your investors, You need them to
- 44:33Speaker 2: show up at your stuff. You need them to make
- 44:35Speaker 2: some phone calls to DC and lobby for you. They'll
- 44:38Speaker 2: you know, they got a lot of clout with those
- 44:40Speaker 2: Democrats in Congress. That's what you're paying for. Well, I
- 44:45Speaker 2: guess they're all done now with Netflix doesn't need them anymore,
- 44:47Speaker 2: so they've basically canceled the whole deal. They're out at Netflix,
- 44:53Speaker 2: but they don't want to give up a net. They've
- 44:54Speaker 2: announced they're going independent. They're big production company called Higher Ground.
- 45:03Speaker 2: The former president and first Lady founded Higher Ground in
- 45:06Speaker 2: twenty eighteen, producing movie and TV content exclusively for Netflix,
- 45:12Speaker 2: but they're now going independent. The company has begun setting
- 45:17Speaker 2: up projects. They hope to do projects at HBO, Apple
- 45:20Speaker 2: and other studios. Now this is a production company, Higher Ground.
- 45:23Speaker 2: When was the last time you're watching a show or
- 45:26Speaker 2: you see a movie and at the end it says
- 45:28Speaker 2: higher Ground Production. Again, they know nothing about producing anything,
- 45:33Speaker 2: but they want to sell their clout, their names. So
- 45:40Speaker 2: I think that's why Obama is now running around trying
- 45:43Speaker 2: to get himself more clout. You know, he's got a
- 45:46Speaker 2: lot of friends in DC, but I know that Mom
- 45:49Speaker 2: Donnie has for the last eight months, all through the campaign,
- 45:53Speaker 2: the Mam Donnie kept calling the Obama people, trying to
- 45:56Speaker 2: get Obama to come and help them endorse some campaign,
- 45:59Speaker 2: and Obama nothing to do with him. And now as
- 46:01Speaker 2: you see this past weekend, Obama runs to New York
- 46:04Speaker 2: to appear with Mom Donnie. So I think he's trying
- 46:08Speaker 2: to make himself have a little more clout everywhere you
- 46:12Speaker 2: need something done. In New York City, he's now close
- 46:14Speaker 2: to the mayor. He's just working on that relationship. His
- 46:19Speaker 2: top political operative is David Axelrod. Axelrod a couple of
- 46:23Speaker 2: weeks ago, was sent to the Vatican to meet with
- 46:25Speaker 2: the Pope. Now Axelrod and Obama they're from Chicago. This
- 46:30Speaker 2: Pope is from Chicago, so they got a lot of
- 46:32Speaker 2: Chicago connections together, and that's why it was easy for
- 46:36Speaker 2: Axelrod to find his connections to get a meeting with
- 46:40Speaker 2: the Pope, and he's been over there meeting with the Pope.
- 46:42Speaker 5: No.
- 46:43Speaker 2: I think that's part of the deal, Obama letting the
- 46:46Speaker 2: world know he's connected now to Mom Donnie, you need
- 46:48Speaker 2: anything in New York, he's collected to the Pope you
- 46:50Speaker 2: need anything that way. So he's obviously working hard on
- 46:55Speaker 2: his business, which is selling influence. Now that's basically what
- 46:58Speaker 2: he does. Hey, the NYPD cop, the one that threw
- 47:02Speaker 2: the cooler at the motorcycle and was overcharged, over sentenced
- 47:07Speaker 2: the whole thing. He's out on bail, three hundred thousand
- 47:09Speaker 2: dollars bond. Arthur Idallah, who's a great criminal attorney, did
- 47:15Speaker 2: a great job, excellent job. He not only got him
- 47:17Speaker 2: out on bail because before that the judge, and it
- 47:20Speaker 2: was insane, the judge remanded him no bail. That's absolutely crazy,
- 47:25Speaker 2: especially when every criminal gets no bail, no jail. So
- 47:28Speaker 2: Iadala got him out and only got him out, he
- 47:30Speaker 2: got the bail lowered. He now has one hundred and
- 47:33Speaker 2: twenty days to file an appeal with the Appellate Division.
- 47:37Speaker 2: You know, when you try to get bail on all
- 47:39Speaker 2: that you have people write letters to the judge on
- 47:42Speaker 2: your behalf. So they got one letter which was a petition.
- 47:47Speaker 2: Eleven thousand cops signed it asking the judge to opt
- 47:52Speaker 2: for probation. Eleven thousand cops signed it. Hey, the awful,
- 47:56Speaker 2: evil Gail King, nasty woman in real life. Gail King obnoxious,
- 48:01Speaker 2: nasty woman in real life. Remember Gail King does the
- 48:07Speaker 2: CBS Morning Show and it's in last place, gets crushed
- 48:11Speaker 2: by Good Morning America, gets crushed by the Today Show.
- 48:14Speaker 2: It's a last place show. It's on for years, going
- 48:17Speaker 2: no place, always in last place. It's a total disaster
- 48:20Speaker 2: ratings wise. But a while back, this is whatever it
- 48:24Speaker 2: was five six years ago, new contract, and she gets
- 48:28Speaker 2: some preposterous fee for being in the last place. It
- 48:31Speaker 2: was like twelve million a year for a show that's
- 48:33Speaker 2: a total failure. But the reason was that was back
- 48:36Speaker 2: then when CBS was in the middle of horrible, horrible scandals.
- 48:40Speaker 2: There was the Less moonvest rape scandal, there was the
- 48:43Speaker 2: Charlie Rose sexual misconduct scale scandal, and there was a
- 48:49Speaker 2: whole bunch of people, a lot of the news executives.
- 48:52Speaker 2: In sixty minutes people all had a quit sexual abuse scandals.
- 48:56Speaker 2: It was horrible time at CBS. Just then Gail King's
- 49:00Speaker 2: contract comes up, and they're terrified to her because she
- 49:03Speaker 2: is a nasty, evil woman, and I think she was
- 49:06Speaker 2: threatening to write a book. So all of a sudden
- 49:08Speaker 2: they doubled their salary. Keep her there and keep her quiet,
- 49:12Speaker 2: keep her on the team there. Well, now there's new ownership,
- 49:16Speaker 2: there's nothing to do with all those pass s games.
- 49:18Speaker 2: That's all over. And you're saying, yeah, but wait a minute,
- 49:21Speaker 2: we just hurt a while back. That's not long ago.
- 49:24Speaker 2: She signed a whole new contract, obviously a love her.
- 49:28Speaker 2: No details are coming out now. Sources say it was
- 49:31Speaker 2: only a one year contract, which is unheard of when
- 49:35Speaker 2: you can't stand somebody, when you have no use for them,
- 49:38Speaker 2: when you don't want them anymore. Instead of the standard
- 49:41Speaker 2: five year contract, we'll give you a one year extension.
- 49:45Speaker 2: It happened to Jimmy Kimmel. They wouldn't give a new contract,
- 49:48Speaker 2: give you a one year extension. So that's apparently what
- 49:52Speaker 2: happened to Gail King. It's just a one year extension.
- 49:56Speaker 2: And apparently in this little, short, little one year contract,
- 50:00Speaker 2: it doesn't say she'll be doing the morning show so
- 50:02Speaker 2: they can move her inside or speculate that she'll probably
- 50:06Speaker 2: be off the Morning Show at some time, and there's
- 50:08Speaker 2: not much left on that contract. So that's the most
- 50:11Speaker 2: insulting thing, that one year extension. You know, secretly it's
- 50:15Speaker 2: the real reason Johnny Carson quit the Tonight Show. Every
- 50:19Speaker 2: five years he'd sign a new contract. Ed Hook Stratton
- 50:22Speaker 2: was his agent. Ed Hook Stratton and Johnny Carson every
- 50:26Speaker 2: five years would go to the Grill, very nice restaurant
- 50:30Speaker 2: in Beverly Hills for lunch and they'd meet the NBC
- 50:32Speaker 2: guys and they would bring the new five year contract
- 50:35Speaker 2: of money had all been hammered out, and they'd have
- 50:38Speaker 2: lunch and Johnny would sign it. Well, one year, they
- 50:41Speaker 2: went to this thing in nineteen ninety one, and the
- 50:44Speaker 2: young NBC executive said, Hey, Johnny, what would you think
- 50:48Speaker 2: about that? About a one year deal? Carson knew what
- 50:53Speaker 2: that meant, immediately knew what that meant. Now they were
- 50:56Speaker 2: planning to sign. But as soon as Carson heard one year,
- 50:59Speaker 2: he said, well, to tell you truth that I actually
- 51:00Speaker 2: came here to announce my retirement. I'm telling you I'm leaving.
- 51:03Speaker 2: Because he knew what that one year meant, and the
- 51:06Speaker 2: NBC guys were stunned and Hooks Stratton knew to play
- 51:09Speaker 2: along with Carson. Yeah, that's right. We came here to
- 51:11Speaker 2: resign and tell you it's all over. Whenever you hear
- 51:13Speaker 2: one year contract, it means it's over. You're finished. Hey,
- 51:18Speaker 2: there's a streaming show that's coming. I haven't seen it,
- 51:21Speaker 2: but it sounds great. It's on Peacock, the Gilgo Beach
- 51:26Speaker 2: Killer documentary. It's like a several episodes. This sounds great,
- 51:30Speaker 2: this Peacock miniseries Gilgo and they got all the people
- 51:34Speaker 2: talking it. They even interviewed the wife. Apparently in episode four,
- 51:38Speaker 2: the wife's explains that at one point she's with her
- 51:43Speaker 2: husband and the husband confessed. Now can you imagine a
- 51:48Speaker 2: wife's with the husband and he confesses, I'm cheated on you.
- 51:53Speaker 2: I've had an affair. It's over, but I had an affair.
- 51:56Speaker 2: I mean, you know, can't mention how devastating that is
- 51:58Speaker 2: if you're the wife. Now imagine if he says, by
- 52:03Speaker 2: the way, uh, I choked her and strangled her and
- 52:06Speaker 2: dismembered her a burier in the beach.
- 52:09Speaker 9: Huh.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Now imagine if he says and it wasn't just her,
- 52:13Speaker 2: it was like seven others I killed and strangled, and
- 52:15Speaker 2: so she she explains how he confessed the whole thing
- 52:18Speaker 2: to her. I can't wait to watch this. It's on Peacock,
- 52:23Speaker 2: this new mini series. So it sounds sounds pretty good.
- 52:29Speaker 2: What else we got? Uh, hey, we'll take some calls
- 52:31Speaker 2: in a minute. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 52:35Speaker 2: seven ten is number. We'll take some calls next. Eight
- 52:37Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten. Set up
- 52:41Speaker 2: re said on the iHeartRadio app to double o R
- 52:44Speaker 2: to hear Mark live.
- 52:45Speaker 6: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime now.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Back to Mark Zimon on do WO R. Hey, let's
- 52:55Speaker 2: take some calls. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 52:59Speaker 2: ten is let's go to gup in Denville, New Jersey. Gup,
- 53:02Speaker 2: How you doing?
- 53:04Speaker 10: Hey, Mark, good morning, Thanks for taking my call. There
- 53:08Speaker 10: was a great record that came out in the late
- 53:10Speaker 10: I think it was seventy nine or eighty, almost made
- 53:13Speaker 10: Billboard Hot one hundred and it might be very timely tomorrow.
- 53:17Speaker 10: Bomb I ran by Vince Vansom, The Valiant.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah. John McCain used to sing that bomb bomb
- 53:22Speaker 2: bomb bomba.
- 53:23Speaker 10: Oh okay, there you go. Well I'm late once again.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, nineteen seventy nine. You might have want to
- 53:29Speaker 2: call then that was probably Yeah, all right, thanks for calling.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Let's go to Phil in Suffolk County. Phil. How you doing.
- 53:37Speaker 6: Yeah, hello, Mark, thanks to taking my call. As always.
- 53:40Speaker 6: You know, this Virginia registrict to vote, this is a
- 53:43Speaker 6: hot pop. There's so much lying going on. They actually
- 53:47Speaker 6: have Trump showing vote yes when we all know we
- 53:51Speaker 6: want a no vote.
- 53:52Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it's a terrible redistricting. And of course when
- 53:55Speaker 2: you need some lying done, who do you bring in? Obama?
- 53:59Speaker 11: I think we've got and the practice of drawing our
- 54:01Speaker 11: congressional districts so that politicians can pick their voters and
- 54:04Speaker 11: not the other way around.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Yeah, until it's time to do it for the Democrats.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Then all of a sudden, he's for it.
- 54:12Speaker 11: Help put our elections back on a level playing field
- 54:15Speaker 11: and let voters decide, not politicians. This is the responsible
- 54:20Speaker 11: thing to do, help us chart a better path forward Virginia.
- 54:23Speaker 2: Great, that's one of Obama's great talents. You know, he
- 54:27Speaker 2: can take whatever side of the issue you need him
- 54:30Speaker 2: to take at that moment. He's a man of principle
- 54:33Speaker 2: or not depends on the situation. Let's go to Kathy
- 54:37Speaker 2: North Carolina.
- 54:37Speaker 3: Kathy, how you doing morning, Mark, Yes, Kathy, thank you.
- 54:43Speaker 3: I always depend on you to give me the updates.
- 54:46Speaker 3: So could you update us on the or explain the
- 54:49Speaker 3: Mike Lindell update on He's being sued the same way
- 54:54Speaker 3: Fox got sued about the voting machines.
- 54:57Speaker 5: And all that.
- 54:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I love listen, Mike. That was a very very
- 55:01Speaker 2: nice guy. He's a really sweet, nice guy. But the
- 55:04Speaker 2: problem is these business guys get into politics or they
- 55:07Speaker 2: try to be broadcasters, they start shooting their mouth off.
- 55:10Speaker 2: And he was those voting machine companies, and he was
- 55:16Speaker 2: a lot of this goes back to this false reporting.
- 55:18Speaker 2: I remember all these people claiming all these things, and
- 55:20Speaker 2: he was repeating that if you're a professional broadcast, you
- 55:23Speaker 2: know how to phrase it and word it carefully, and
- 55:25Speaker 2: he wasn't careful enough with the wording. He's getting sued
- 55:28Speaker 2: by them. He's also running for governor Minnesota. Did you
- 55:30Speaker 2: know that? No?
- 55:32Speaker 3: I did not, So I'm hoping that we don't we
- 55:35Speaker 3: I name you and President Trump. Don't throw him under
- 55:39Speaker 3: the bus.
- 55:39Speaker 2: No, No, nobody's throwing him under the bus. But go
- 55:43Speaker 2: find him online, Twitter, Instagram, whatever, and you'll see all
- 55:47Speaker 2: the video of his He's running for governor. He's making
- 55:49Speaker 2: all kinds of campaign speeches. Now you might say, well,
- 55:52Speaker 2: I don't know what kind of chance, but you never know. Minnesota,
- 55:55Speaker 2: they always vote these outsiders in his governor. Look at Jesse.
- 55:59Speaker 3: Ventura, wrestler, Yeah, the wrestler.
- 56:01Speaker 2: Yeah. If you can vote in Al Frankin, this idiot comedian,
- 56:05Speaker 2: you can vote in anybody.
- 56:06Speaker 3: So Lindell's got He's really the victim of a lot
- 56:10Speaker 3: of you know, warfare with the courts, and I just
- 56:15Speaker 3: I hope.
- 56:15Speaker 2: Yeah, of course he is. Of course he's the problem
- 56:17Speaker 2: is in my pillow, by the way, is great pillow.
- 56:20Speaker 2: He advertised on all the conservative networks and shows, so
- 56:23Speaker 2: he became a target. That's why they go after you. Yeah,
- 56:27Speaker 2: all right, thanks for calling. Let's go to Dennis Huntington,
- 56:30Speaker 2: New York. I love Huntingdon Dennis. How you doing all right?
- 56:34Speaker 9: Mark? How you doing? Thanks for the taking a call.
- 56:36Speaker 9: Speaking of morning hosts and contracts about Howard Stern, How
- 56:40Speaker 9: is this guy still working? How was he still giving
- 56:43Speaker 9: him contracts? I mean, the guy is a total wokester.
- 56:46Speaker 9: Was more than half his audience.
- 56:47Speaker 2: No, no, no, he lost much more than half. Must
- 56:49Speaker 2: much much much more than half the audio, most of
- 56:51Speaker 2: the audience. But these new contracts are for a lot
- 56:54Speaker 2: less money, a lot less money.
- 56:57Speaker 9: That's what it is.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Aty. He likes to work. He listened to guy's close
- 57:02Speaker 2: to a billionaire and he still wants to work. So
- 57:05Speaker 2: you'll notice it used to be six to ten, five
- 57:08Speaker 2: days a week. Then it was three days a week.
- 57:11Speaker 2: Now it's like two days a week. Now it's like
- 57:13Speaker 2: one day. Yeah, so it takes the summer off. That's
- 57:17Speaker 2: that's the deal for uh.
- 57:18Speaker 9: I guess it's good working if you could find it.
- 57:20Speaker 9: Saw me up. But I mean, the guy's not funny anymore.
- 57:22Speaker 9: He's totally He.
- 57:24Speaker 2: Could be funny, but he's crazy woke. You know. The
- 57:26Speaker 2: problem is you go walke, you go broke. There you're
- 57:28Speaker 2: Charlie Gasprino improved even how it's all right, thanks for colling. Yeah,
- 57:35Speaker 2: we love Huntington. A lot of great restaurants there. You
- 57:37Speaker 2: got Prime, the most beautiful waterfront restaurant right across the street.
- 57:41Speaker 2: You got Posto Pozzo, great food, you got the Paramount Theater,
- 57:45Speaker 2: all kinds of great stuff in Huntington. Let's go to
- 57:48Speaker 2: h Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent.
- 57:50Speaker 7: How you doing, Good morning, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning, Mara.
- 57:53Speaker 7: Mark should have surprised anybody in New York that the
- 57:56Speaker 7: first childcares slots are gonna be set up in the
- 58:03Speaker 7: David Dinkins Building. But guess why they're gonna go to
- 58:06Speaker 7: city workers first? Most city workers could afford daycare. But
- 58:12Speaker 7: what they don't realize these daycare centers that Mandami wants
- 58:17Speaker 7: to set up witness for him singing the wheels on
- 58:21Speaker 7: the bus go round round round with Barack Obama the
- 58:24Speaker 7: other day, they're going to become in doctor nation mills.
- 58:29Speaker 7: They want to now they are. They're teaching them to
- 58:32Speaker 7: become communists in middle schools. They want to even get
- 58:35Speaker 7: them earlier. They want to get him in preschool. They
- 58:38Speaker 7: want to trade him to be a little communists, just
- 58:41Speaker 7: like they used to do in uh Germany and like
- 58:45Speaker 7: what they do in China. Mark, what Chris Murphy coming
- 58:50Speaker 7: out against Donald Trump and acting saying stuff pro Iranian
- 58:56Speaker 7: thuring World War Two? Had any public official came out
- 59:01Speaker 7: in support of the Japanese or the Germans during World
- 59:06Speaker 7: War Two, people would have stormed their office or their house,
- 59:10Speaker 7: dragged them outside and taught in feathered him.
- 59:14Speaker 2: He looks bad enough already, this Chrism. Yeah, but he's
- 59:17Speaker 2: Tokyo Rose, he's Tehran Chris exactly.
- 59:22Speaker 4: Here.
- 59:22Speaker 7: We have people in our government openly supporting the enemy.
- 59:27Speaker 7: That's how far we have falled.
- 59:29Speaker 2: That's totally right, Vincent, great call, thanks for calling. Hey,
- 59:32Speaker 2: you know who's next, Bill O'Reilly. We'll ask him about
- 59:35Speaker 2: all of this and lots to talk to Bill O'Reilly
- 59:37Speaker 2: about it in just a moment on seven to ten
- 59:40Speaker 2: w o R. Mister New York Mama marks him on
- 59:43Speaker 2: seven to ten wo R. Well. Bill O'Reilly a longtime
- 59:49Speaker 2: number one TV anchor, and you know you go to
- 59:52Speaker 2: his website Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 59:55Speaker 2: You can watch the TV show, you can get the column,
- 59:57Speaker 2: his great books. Also, Bill has an excellent YouTube channel.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: A lot of good stuff on Bill O'Reilly on YouTube.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: And make sure to watch this new podcast, Will Do
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: It Live. Boy, there's a bunch of great episodes out
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly's podcast, Will Do It Live. You can get
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: everything at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Bill O'Reilly, how you
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: doing well.
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Okay, everything's chugging along here. How about you, Mark, I'm good.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: I'm good. Despite what the crazy Democrats might say. Trump
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: I think is going to do all right in Iran.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Don't you think six months from now it'll be a
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: great situation.
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: I don't know. I just don't know. They're pretty insane
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: people over there we're dealing with, and it looks to
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: me like they're going to have to crack. But you know,
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: I can't guarantee it, or I can't even put any
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: odds on it, because they don't care whether their own
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: people die. And that's a real big advantage when you're
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: in a negotiation, if you have nothing to lose and
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: they don't. Well, so that's where we are on that thing,
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: and it just changes from hour to hour, as everybody knows.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Yeah, but the good news they've had absolutely no military
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: success against this of any kind. Even when the two
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: pilots were down there, we quickly got them back. It's
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: really just about nothing they can do to us, is there.
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: I don't think they're an organized military thread anymore. It's
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: just the uranium enrichment and the missile programs they already
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: had in place that the weapons inspectors have to monitor.
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: That's what it's all about now, just getting weapons inspectors
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: in there to say, you know, this is where the
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: government is, what they're doing, and they're resisting that. Yeah,
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: and if that could just go away for a little while,
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: then Donald Trump would get a big victory, that's for sure.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, before Barack Obama. Apparently Netflix doesn't want to
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: continue the deal with him. He doesn't want to end
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: up as irrelevant as Bill Clinton. It looks like he's
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: trying to establish some cloud everywhere, hanging out with Mom Donnie,
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: his guy Axelrod is with the Pope. Is that what
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: he's up to.
- 1:02:11Speaker 4: I don't know why he was here for, Ma'm donnie.
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: I can't figure that one out.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: For what I think, it's that simple. The Netflix deal
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: is over, he's looking for new deals. If he's chumming
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: with Mom Donnie, it looks like he's got clout every place.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: Do you think so? Yeah, he was a business thing.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: You know, it's surprising because Barackobata will do anything unless
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: it's well calculated and fought out. He's not a spontaneous guy.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: And it might be a business thing, but it didn't
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: get much traction I mean we in New York noticed it,
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: but noting anybody in Colorado cares. And he's sitting there
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: with ma'am Donnie and they're yucking it up with the kids.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: Nothing really wrong with that, But I don't know why
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: he did it. He could do so many other things
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: that he doesn't do. He's not a socialist. He got
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: four unbelievable homes, and he charges th three hundred thousand
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: dollars a speech Obama does. But there he is with
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: the kids in the Queen's school. That was really weird
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: to me. And there's something going on. There's some reason,
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: but I don't know what it is.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: I think it's that simple, and I think that's why
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: this guy Axelrod is meeting with the Pope. He's going
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: to have clout everywhere. If you need anything, you pay
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: him a fortune, give him another sixty million dollars.
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: Yeah maybe. I mean Axel Rod is a guy who's
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: no power whatsoever anywhere. I think the Pulpe visit was
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: scheduled before all the chaos, and I'm not sure. But
- 1:03:52Speaker 4: even if he does go to the Vatican, I mean
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: he did go and he met with the Pope, so
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: a lot I mean, Axelrod didn't have any any delivery system.
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: He's really nothing other than Barack Obama's friend. Now, you
- 1:04:06Speaker 4: may be right, they may be hatching some kind of comeback,
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: and that wouldn't be far fetch because I think Barack
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: Obama would love to be the king maker in twenty
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: twenty eight. Yeah, he'd love to be the guy that
- 1:04:23Speaker 4: all the Democrats come and kiss the ring pardon the
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: pope analogy, And he'd like to be the leader of
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: the party because there is no leader to the party.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: So maybe he's working in that direction, but I don't
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: know if ma'am Donnie's going to get him there.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Hey, Bill O Riley, I have here a stack
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: of articles that says the President Trump or Donald Trump
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: fighting with the Pope is the worst disaster. He's finished,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: He'll never These are all from twenty sixteen. This is
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: from the last part fight with the last Pope. When
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: are they going to learn that he's never finished? Nothing
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: that's going to knock him out. There's really nothing that
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: would shock anybody anymore, is there that?
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: No, they just want Americans want this to be over.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: And if it concludes in a way that it's favorable
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: to us, everybody will forget about the pope thing. I
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: was in Palm Beach over the weekend. I did a
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: beach at a basilica in Palm Beach, Saint Edward's Big Church,
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: that's where the Kennedy's attended Mass. And I thought when
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: I walked in there was a pretty big crab about
- 1:05:28Speaker 4: five hundred, that there was going to be a lot
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: of angst on a part of these traditional Catholics. But
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: there wasn't. Well, they wanted information, That's what the Q
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: and A was. But they weren't angry with Trump's debate
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: on the Pope. They didn't seem to be agitated that
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: the Pope was going against the president somewhat. They just
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: wanted information about it, which I gave them.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: A lot of Catholics we love the Pope, but they're
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: not too thrilled with a woke pope. That's not something
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: most Catholics were looking for.
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: You.
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: I think that's an accurate statement because Francis was different
- 1:06:13Speaker 4: than Leo. Francis was an open border guy, right out
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: open border guy, let everybody in, let them do what
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: they want, and not only in the United States but everywhere.
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: No restraint on migration, Leo as soon as he got
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: in there, made it a priority just say no, no, no.
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: I believe in laws and immigration law, and you have
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: to a country has to be able to regulate its borders.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: Leo went out of his way to say that. Didn't
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: get a lot of pickup, but he said it. I
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: don't know if Trump got that memo. I don't know
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: if Trump he still thinks they're the same, because I
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: was all about the soft on crime. That's what the
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: soft on crime was. Let all immigrants say they can
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: make crimes, and what are you doing so right now?
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: I mean I could broke or a deal between the
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: Pope and the President in half an hour. I mean,
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: it wouldn't be hard for me to do that. I
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: think both men do want piece. I believe they do,
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: and that's a big piece of common ground. And then
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: if you say to the Pope very respectfully, your onliness,
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: if you're going to get into the political aspect of policy,
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: you've got to explain yourself. You know, the very simple
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: question is Vatican City which is a country? Okay with
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: Aron having a nuke. That's a pretty simple question. But
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: you have not answered it, and so I don't know
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: if it's going to be review to continue down this
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: public policy road when your job is essentially to preach
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: about peace and for the point isn't it is wants
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: it to all go away. So that would be a
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: fairly easy play on the other side of the equation.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Bill O'Reilly, This Saturday is the White House
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Correspondence Dinner for the first time ever as president, Donald
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Trump will be there. You'll speak. What do you What
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: do you think? How's that going to go?
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: No, I'm going, Oh good. I don't want to go,
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: but I have to go because it's a story. And
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: I wrote a message today on Bill O'Reilly dot com.
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: If anybody's out of control, they're gonna have to deal
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: with me. And I mean that physically. I don't think
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: that's going to happen. Secret Service that will remove them,
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: but I'm going to be there front and center, and
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: you know, these people get out of control, they do
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: something untoward because you have to respect the office of
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: the presidency. You know what I thought, Donald Trump, You
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: don't have to be a support of his, but you
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: cannot go in there and try to diminish. If you're
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: a journalist, the office of the presidency. And if anybody
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: tries to do that, the're gonna run up against me,
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: and I'll stand up. I mean, I'll be there. You'll
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: see me.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Were you at the Al Smith dinner? You know,
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: it's basically a roast in a ballroom. It's a similar
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: kind of setting. And Trump was brilliant roasting everybody in
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: the room. He really just was great, tearing them apart.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: You think that'll happen Saturday.
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm never invited to that dinner. I guess I
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: don't know why I'm not. But Cardinal doll And I
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: don't think he's a big fan of mine. He should
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: have a good speech. I mean, that's that's why he's there.
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: Melanie is going to be there. This is Saturday night
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: at the Washington Hilton, and.
- 1:09:43Speaker 7: You know, laughs a laughs.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Okay, that's good. But if anybody's booing or hissing or
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: screaming or anything like that, that's not gonna go well
- 1:09:55Speaker 4: for them.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well it'll be fascinating to watch. So hey, I
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: love the We'll do It Live. Bill o'riley's got this
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: new podcast, great Steve sharipa episode. Lindsey Graham was boy
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: that was fascinating. Steve Kroft, Howie Mandel, what's the next
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: episode coming?
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: Yeah, we got Jean Judge, Denny Impiro.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Stopping them all good, that'll be great.
- 1:10:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Does anybody know what she does? I don't know what
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: she does? You know, Yeah, we'll find that.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: So, but I was happy to get to book her.
- 1:10:30Speaker 4: She's not around that much anymore on TV. This will
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: be a pretty big interview. Yeah, and we're looking forward
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: to her and going down to DC tomorrow morning. Yeah,
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: and we will do that interview late in the afternoon.
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: You know why it's so great. A lot of people
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: try these things, but you do it. It's like a
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: TV studio and you're wearing a suit. It looks great.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: Everybody else they put a dartboard, a pool table, they're
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: wearing a lumberjackshirt. It never looks right. It looks funny.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: This yours looks real. And that's the way it should
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: be done.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: I appreciate that we try to bring a little traditional
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: sense of decorum. I have to wear a stupid tuxedo
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: on Saturday night that thrills the ballot right now, I'll
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: do it. You know. Look, I'm an old you know,
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: an old school guy. I mean, this is the way
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: we've been doing it for fifty years. It's worked pretty

- 1:12:10Speaker 2: six to ten. It's Curtis Sliwa, Larry Minty right here
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: on seven to ten WR Today's Insight, tomorrow's headline marks
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: them up seven ten. Woah. This must be really big
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: and important because on MSNBC they have it up on
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: the screen bottom of the screen, but they've left it
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: up for like an hour. Look at this Tonight at
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: nine Exclusive interview with Elizabeth warrens they have the Kevin
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: Warsh hearings today, and Elizabeth Warren's gonna yell and scream
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: at him and create all kinds of viral video. So
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: the left all be looking at the clips of Elizabeth
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Warren screaming at Kevin Warsh. So they put up on this.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: It says, look all right there, it says tonight exclusive
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: interview with Elizabeth Warren. Now, the reason it's exclusive is
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: that nobody else has asked her to be on else.
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: Who else is going to have Elizabeth Warren on? But
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: she's yelling and screaming at Kevin Warsh about how he's
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: in the Epstein files. Well he is. I just looked
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: and checked. Yeah, you know what. He's in the Epstein files,
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: Like I'm in the Epstein files over nothing. It's just
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: he's on a guest list. Epstein would always ask for
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: the guest list if he was going to a party,
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: See who's going to be there. He's on a couple
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: of those guest lists at a party that Epstein might
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: go to, said stupid stuff. He's not really in the
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Epstein files. Hey, Chris Murphy and a lot of a
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: lot of heat from that traitorous tweet, that awful senator
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: from Connecticut story. It turns out it's false that Iran
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: got through our blockade. He tweeted awesome. Well, he's saying
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: it was a joke. It was sarcastic. Nobody's buying it. Hey,
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: we're out of time. I'll be back tomorrow ten to noon.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Talk to you then on seven to ten w O R.
