Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / Mega Edition: A Look Back At The Ghislaine Maxwell Trial (Part 1) (7/11/26)

- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to the Epstein Chronicles. Yesterday
- 0:07mark day one of the Galaine Maxwell trial, and I
- 0:11have to tell you I was caught a bit off guard.
- 0:15I wasn't expecting Larry big Dog Vasasky to be put
- 0:20on the stand right away like that. I figured there
- 0:23would be some opening statements from both sides and then
- 0:26we'd get into the meat and the potatoes, a little
- 0:28bit of the meat on the bone in the coming days.
- 0:33But they got right to it yesterday. And Larry Vassasky
- 0:38is a major cock within the Epstein realm. He was
- 0:43Epstein's pilot. He was flying all of these people all
- 0:48over the world, and obviously, according to him, he'll tell
- 0:52you that he didn't know who was on all of
- 0:55those flights, especially the domestic ones. But you have to
- 1:00think that the government believes that he has something to
- 1:03add if they're calling him as their first witness. And
- 1:07it also makes me wonder if he cuts some kind
- 1:10of deal with the government. Now, again, there's zero evidence
- 1:16that Larry Vasosky was ever going to be indicted or
- 1:20anything like that, but it's pretty interesting that he's working
- 1:24with the government here. I mean, we're talking about a
- 1:28guy that Jeffrey Epstein gave a plot of land to
- 1:31right over there in his own ranch down in Stanley.
- 1:36And when I went down there to New Mexico, it
- 1:39is almost hard to explain just how vast this property
- 1:44is and just how desolate this property is. Jeffrey Epstein
- 1:51set up a nice little home away from home down
- 1:54there at Zoro Ranch, and the things he was doing
- 1:58down there were very secretive, right, It wasn't something that
- 2:01was well publicized. There was a reason he chose that
- 2:06spot in New Mexico. I mean, obviously one of the
- 2:09reasons is the age of consent there, but there were
- 2:13other reasons why Jeffrey Epstein chose New Mexico. And the
- 2:18fact that he was able to get away with the
- 2:22things he was able to get away with in New
- 2:25Mexico is just mind boggling to me. But the point is,
- 2:30you don't give somebody a big fat chunk of land
- 2:33in a place that you're hoping to keep relatively private
- 2:37or at the very least under a shroud of secrecy,
- 2:41a piece of land there if you don't trust them.
- 2:44So my question is what enticed him to offer up
- 2:48information for the government. Now Again, I don't have any
- 2:54lead saying that he had a profit agreement or he
- 2:58was in any jeopardy of being indicted. But I just
- 3:00find it interesting that he is talking with the government now,
- 3:04and not only just talking with the government obviously, but
- 3:06taking the stand as a government witness. Usually that kind
- 3:11of thing doesn't just happen organically, right. The government is uh,
- 3:17you know, they find ways to get people to do
- 3:20what they want them to do. Especially if you have
- 3:23something that might be criminal hanging over your head, they
- 3:26will definitely leverage that, they'll use it in their favor,
- 3:30and they'll get you moving in a direction that they
- 3:33want you to move in. So the Larry Vosasky on
- 3:37the stand, it's definitely very interesting. But as I ruminated
- 3:42on it last night and I let it marinate, I
- 3:44had some more questions, right, like did he get a
- 3:48profer agreement, Is he working with the government because he
- 3:52doesn't want to be charged himself, or did they just
- 3:57turn him as a witness. So it's going to be
- 4:01very interesting to see all of the details, right, all
- 4:03of the specifics as we move forward, And with something
- 4:07like this a trial, a case with just so much information,
- 4:11it's going to be very fluid. Things are going to
- 4:14happen quickly, and things are going to happen on a
- 4:18daily basis. Every single time that you have this jury
- 4:21impaneled and the trial going on, you're going to have,
- 4:25you know, significant things coming out of those sessions. So
- 4:31getting right off to a jump with Larry Vassoski as
- 4:36a witness number one, it just tells me that there's
- 4:40going to be some more surprises coming down the old
- 4:43shoot here. And I'm very curious to see who else
- 4:47the government offers up as witnesses. And on the flip
- 4:52side of that, I'm wondering who the defense is going
- 4:56to pony up as a witness. Besides, they're paid for specialists.
- 5:00Are they going to have anyone show up and you know,
- 5:06Polish Glane Maxwell's reputation. Is anyone going to step into
- 5:11that box and say, hey, look, Glan Maxwell's a good person.
- 5:14She didn't do this and I think that she's innocent. Now,
- 5:19I haven't heard that they're gonna have anybody up there
- 5:21to do that, but you would think, right if you're
- 5:25the defense, one thing you want to do is try
- 5:27to establish that your client has, you know, as a
- 5:30person of character is somebody who this is below and
- 5:34somebody who would never engage in behavior like this. And
- 5:37if your client is somebody like that, it stands to
- 5:40reason that you'd be able to find a few people
- 5:43that are willing to, you know, go on the record
- 5:46and testify that she's a good person or that she's
- 5:50somebody of upstanding character. So I'm interested to see what
- 5:56sort of trick the Maxwell team pulls out of their
- 5:59hat when it comes to establishing her as a credible
- 6:03person or somebody who should be believed, because you know
- 6:08that the prosecution is they're coming hard. Obviously, if Vasaski's
- 6:14the first witness, you gotta think that there's gonna be
- 6:17a litany of people trotting up to that box that
- 6:20have damning statements about Glene Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein and
- 6:24the way they were conducting themselves. And who better situated
- 6:30than the guy that was flying them all around the world. Now,
- 6:35last night I updated and I uploaded an episode about
- 6:39the other pilot that was brought up at this trial.
- 6:42David Rodgers, you might want to check that out as well.
- 6:45But with Larry Vassoski taking the stand here, it's pretty
- 6:49significant for those of us who have been following the
- 6:51case especially. I was talking with some of my colleagues
- 6:55who follow the case yesterday and it was pretty much
- 6:59an animous consensus that, you know, this is probably going
- 7:05to lead us to even more explosive witnesses hitting that stant.
- 7:09So I'm very interested to see where things go today,
- 7:12and I'm interested to see what sort of strategy the
- 7:17defense is going to use when it comes to cross
- 7:21examining Larry Vassoski. We can definitely expect more of ASASKI
- 7:28today and you know, we'll see what comes of it.
- 7:32But I think it's very very interesting that he was
- 7:35the first witness, and I think it's going to be
- 7:38interesting to see how it all breaks down from here.
- 7:43So today, what we're going to do is we're going
- 7:47to take a look at some of the headlines from
- 7:49overnight and yeah, take a look at what's going on.
- 7:53We have a headline over here from Slate and this
- 7:57is an article that was published by Seth Stevenson. On
- 8:03the headline, Glenn Maxwell's trial opens with her lawyer diving
- 8:07straight into the muck and he goes into what's going
- 8:11on like outside of the courthouse and all of that
- 8:14jazz from the article. Outside the Thurgood Marshall Federal Courthouse
- 8:18in Lower Manhattan this morning, the media throng assembled to
- 8:21cover day one of the Glene Maxwell trial. Print reporters,
- 8:25newsletter writers, podcasters, and television crews coalesced into the strangely
- 8:30glamorous frenzy that seems to accompany the launch of every
- 8:35high profile criminal proceeding. Now. The reason I bring this
- 8:38headline up is I talk a lot about how it's
- 8:42Carnival Barker City right now, and you're definitely seeing it
- 8:47out in front of the courthouse. There are people of
- 8:50all stripes showing up and making their voices heard, and
- 8:56you know, you have a lot of misinformed people as well.
- 9:00But one thing is very apparent to me, and it
- 9:03is that there is a lot of anger on both
- 9:09sides of the political fence, and it's not very often
- 9:12that you see that. Now. Of course, there are the
- 9:15yahoos that are using this as a political cudgel to
- 9:19beat their political opponents over the head. And I'd be
- 9:23very cautious of any of these pundits that are talking
- 9:27about this case from either side of the conversation. I'd
- 9:30be very cautious about what sort of rhetoric they're spinning
- 9:35towards you, because this is much bigger than that. This
- 9:39is so much bigger than Republican and Democrat, This is
- 9:42so much bigger than left and right. You have to
- 9:46understand that this was people at all levers of power
- 9:50from both parties who were enabling this and facilitating this
- 9:56for decades. To try and pin it on one party
- 10:01or the other is a great disservice to those who
- 10:05were actually abused by this scumbag. So while the circus
- 10:09like atmosphere is to be expected, I think that it
- 10:13is one of the most gross ways to go about
- 10:15things when you're using this as a political cudgel. Now,
- 10:19of course there's a political angle to it, right, Definitely.
- 10:22A lot of the people involved had ties to politicians
- 10:25or were politicians themselves. But it's very apparent when someone's
- 10:31trying to harness this as a political weapon, and I
- 10:37would just caution you to be very very aware of that.
- 10:42He goes on to say, I've seen it before. It
- 10:44always starts this way in mystery and frision, and it
- 10:47always ends in the squalor. That's the reality of crime,
- 10:54no matter the trial when it comes to a high
- 10:57profile one, it's always going to have a cast of characters, right,
- 11:02So I just it's one of those things where I
- 11:05just I witness and I observe and shake my head.
- 11:11You know, you have like like he says here, When
- 11:13Michael Jackson's trial for child sexual abuse charges was getting underway,
- 11:17the media revved up to cover the bizarre tale of
- 11:20an eccentric global superstar, and then the trial began and
- 11:25we met a dim, lonely drunk who liked to show
- 11:28porno maags to little boys. So I guess what he's
- 11:32trying to say here in this article is the perception
- 11:35of what a trial is going to be and then
- 11:38the reality of it are usually two very very different things,
- 11:43and I think we'll see a lot of that in
- 11:44this case as well. There are a lot of misinformed
- 11:47people when it comes to the Jeffrey Epstein case, the
- 11:50Glaine Maxwell trial and all of the players on the stage,
- 11:55and hopefully when we're done here on the podcast, we
- 11:58can try and clear a little bit of that up.
- 12:01And my suggestion would be to all of you out
- 12:04there who are new to this case, who have just
- 12:06found the Glenn Maxwell trial or have just gotten interested
- 12:09in this. I would suggest that you go on to
- 12:12social media and you seek out some of the survivors
- 12:17from this case and follow them on social media and
- 12:20listen to them in their own words. That way, there's
- 12:24no background noise, there's no middleman. And one thing that
- 12:29these survivors did that was pretty much groundbreaking was they
- 12:34skipped the legacy media and they went directly to social media,
- 12:39to independent content creators and independent journalists to get the
- 12:43story out. And once there was such a swell from
- 12:47all of you people out there who have been following
- 12:49this case, they were forced to act right. And it's
- 12:53been pretty crazy to watch it all unfold because it
- 13:01has been time and time again where not only were
- 13:07these girls women victimized by Jeffrey Epstein and allegedly Maxwell,
- 13:15but by our very own justice system, by the people
- 13:19who were put in place to make sure that the
- 13:21most vulnerable amongst us are protected. Those very people failed
- 13:26these girls. And you heard it yesterday in the trial,
- 13:30and it's something I've been punching home for a long time. Here.
- 13:34They chose girls from broken homes, girls who come from
- 13:40low income families, girls who don't have as many prospects
- 13:43on the horizon, and they specifically search these kinds of
- 13:47girls out, And that just makes it even more draconian
- 13:51to me. As if it's not hard enough being broke,
- 13:57being poor, coming from a broken home, now you have
- 14:00this multi hundred million dollar predator and his co associate,
- 14:07his underboss bringing you in to groom you and molest you.
- 14:11And it's absolutely horrendous to think about. And the fact
- 14:16that they preyed on the most vulnerable amongst us, it
- 14:19just makes me so mad. I really dislike bullies, and
- 14:25I really like people who punched down. I really dislike
- 14:27people who punched down. And Jeffrey Epstein was all of that,
- 14:32and Gleanne Maxwell, she went right along with it. She
- 14:35was right there making decisions with them and helping him
- 14:39facilitate all of this, according to multiple multiple survivors. He
- 14:48goes on to say that he suspects that the trial
- 14:50of Glenn Maxwell, who stands accused of helping Jeffrey Epstein
- 14:53sexually abuse minors, will follow a similar similar arc to
- 14:57those other trials, meaning you know, the whole entire circus atmosphere,
- 15:01et cetera, et cetera. He says the media has REVVD
- 15:04itself up to cover the story of a stylish, jet
- 15:07setting socialite who broke fantastically bad. But over the coming
- 15:11long courtroom days, chances are will hear less about how
- 15:14she graduated from Oxford, speaks several languages and can pilot helicopters,
- 15:19and more about how she allegedly took teenage girls on
- 15:22Florida shopping mall excursions as a means of prepping them
- 15:27form a less station. Yeah. Well, anyone who's showing up
- 15:30here thinking that Glaine Maxwell is just some you know,
- 15:33shrinking violet socialite, well you're in for a rude awakening,
- 15:38because that is not the case. Glaine Maxwell is not that. Okay,
- 15:47she knew exactly what she was getting into. Well educated lady,
- 15:50comes from money, comes from power, and to think that
- 15:54she was just along for the ride is absolutely ridiculous.
- 16:00And you know, again, when we talk about the overall
- 16:05atmosphere around this trial, oh there's going to be some wildness,
- 16:09there's no doubt about it, and there's going to be
- 16:13a ton of carnival barkers and a ton of disinformation agents.
- 16:19But one thing that is going to be constant. One
- 16:22thing that you can guarantee is the profile that's going
- 16:26to be painted of Glenn Maxwell is going to be
- 16:29less than flattering by the prosecution. And not only that,
- 16:34but those assertions, well, they're going to be backed up
- 16:39by evidence and the statements from the survivors themselves. So
- 16:48it's going to be a very very interesting few weeks
- 16:54to see which way Maxwell's team goes with all of this.
- 16:57Now we already know that they're strat so far has
- 17:01been to come out and blame the girls basically right
- 17:08saying that you know, Maxwell was a just someone who
- 17:13was around for Epstein's run. She didn't have anything to
- 17:16do with it. And you know the girls are liars.
- 17:19They're really above the age of consent. So you know
- 17:23how it goes. This is the typical defense when you
- 17:27see a case like this. You know, they try and
- 17:32impune the reputation of the accusers. They try and set
- 17:36them up as if they're money hungry or they're prostitutes
- 17:40or whatever it may be. But it's the age that
- 17:43they've been doing this forever. It's like when you're in
- 17:45the NFL and you fire your coach and you think
- 17:48it's a good idea to bring in Wade Wilson again, Bro,
- 17:52why are you bringing in the same guy with the
- 17:55same playbook? And that's what the Maxwell team is doing here.
- 17:59And I've been pretty steadfast in my opinion that it's
- 18:02not going to work out. You're not gonna paint Maxwell's escapegoat.
- 18:07She's not a stand in for Epstein's crimes, none of that.
- 18:12And I really hope that the prosecution punches at home now. Again,
- 18:17not very confident in the prosecution in America. The prosecutors
- 18:22in America. When they're going after high profile people. Oh sure,
- 18:26when the federal authorities are going after you or me,
- 18:29it's a home run for them, right slam dunk City.
- 18:32But when they're going after their own friends, the other
- 18:35members of so called elite society, terry usually turns out
- 18:39a little bit different, doesn't it. But hopefully there's enough
- 18:45interest and enough anger around this case that they can't
- 18:50pull any of those nonsensical moves that they usually like
- 18:53to pull. So I hope that the prosecution continues to
- 19:00beat home the fact that Glen Maxwell was not a
- 19:02passenger on this ship. She wasn't just somebody who was
- 19:07stowing away. She was in fact piloting the ship. Sometimes
- 19:12she was in the navigation room. She knew how the
- 19:15engine worked, and she certainly most certainly knew what was
- 19:23going on, and for her to set it up as
- 19:27if she had no idea what was going on, you
- 19:30know that she was just completely taken off guard by
- 19:33what happened. Here is just an absolute ridiculous leap that
- 19:39they're asking people to take, and I honestly doubt anyone's
- 19:43going to be willing to take that leap. So there
- 19:49you have it, folks for the morning. Now, trial's getting
- 19:54ready or is back underway as we speak. It's six
- 19:57am here in Las Vegas as this episode about to
- 20:00be dropped, so we got a whole day ahead of us.
- 20:04We're gonna keep an eye on things. I'm pretty much
- 20:07locked into the studio watching the the live streams happen
- 20:11with the updates, live updates, not phone or you know,
- 20:15digital or anything like that. But there's a lot of
- 20:17live threads on like Twitter from Inner City Press. Adam
- 20:21Klasfeld has a real good live feed that he's been doing,
- 20:25so I'll be following those all day and preparing to
- 20:28come back tonight and do a wrap up show and
- 20:31talk about what occurred. Throughout the day and the trial
- 20:34and what if any surprises or curveballs or thrown our way.
- 20:42If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
- 20:44at Bobby Kapuchi at ProtonMail dot com. That's b O

- 20:52dot com. You can also find me on Twitter at
- 20:56bo bby underscore c A P see CI. The links
- 21:02that we discussed can be found in the description box.
- 21:05All right, everybody, I'll be back later on. Hope you
- 21:07all have a great day. What's up everyone, and welcome
- 21:11back to the Epstein Chronicles. Day four of the Gallaine
- 21:15Maxwell trial is about to get underway, and I expect
- 21:20another day of the defense trying to demean the credibility
- 21:26of witnesses brought to the stand by the prosecution. They
- 21:30have revealed their hand. They have shown us the way
- 21:33that they're going to go about this, and it is
- 21:37pretty much par for the course of what I expected.
- 21:42When you look at Gallaine Maxwell's legal team throughout this
- 21:45whole entire ordeal and how this strategy started to unfold,
- 21:50it was very obvious that they were going to go
- 21:52after a the memories of the accusers and B try
- 21:56and demean their credibility. Leading up to this trial, all
- 22:02of the motions and all of the different proceedings that
- 22:06went on, we cataloged them here on the podcast and
- 22:09talked about them as they were happening. So what I'm
- 22:12going to do is I'm going to repost some of
- 22:14those considering there are a ton of new listeners lately,
- 22:18and I'm guessing that most of you are not familiar
- 22:22with the whole catalog of my work, so I feel
- 22:25like it's relevant to go back and take a look
- 22:27at how we got here. So what I'm going to
- 22:30do is later today, I'm going to post a few
- 22:32episodes of the proceedings leading up to the actual trial,
- 22:38some of the bail requests, some of the other complaints
- 22:42that Maxwell had, and you'll start to see how the
- 22:45strategy was coming into view. They were setting the groundwork
- 22:50for it, basically, And last night, after I got done
- 22:55recording the Evening Update, I went back and listened to
- 22:59a few of those episodes, and it was apparent then
- 23:04right that they were going to set up this strategy
- 23:06to move forward this way, But it wasn't as glaring
- 23:11as it is now that we have some hindsight to
- 23:13look back with it on, because there is no way
- 23:20that Glene Maxwell and her attorneys think that they're going
- 23:24to be able to win this as far as on
- 23:28evidence based court work, right. They know that the evidence
- 23:33is piled against them. That's just a fact. All you
- 23:37have to do is look at the circumstantial evidence that
- 23:39we have seen so far. Now we've already had the
- 23:42one accuser on the stand telling her story about the
- 23:47abuse that she suffered at the hands of Maxwell and Epstein,
- 23:52and unfortunately we're going to hear more of that. And
- 23:57for a lot of people, it's shocking. A lot of
- 23:59people really have no idea the scope of what went
- 24:02on here. And I have received so many emails in
- 24:06the last couple of days about this case. People were
- 24:09so unaware and leading up to this, I called people
- 24:12who weren't aware of this case the unsullied, meaning that
- 24:17you had not been corroded with this disgustingness yet. But
- 24:23once you get a little look at what Epstein was
- 24:25up to, and you look at all of the different
- 24:27levels of power that were being pulled by all the
- 24:30different players on the stage, it's hard not to dive
- 24:34headfirst into this story. And become addicted because there was
- 24:40a great wrong done here, folks, a great wrong to
- 24:44a great number of people. And the girls that have
- 24:50come forward, the survivors who have come forward to steal
- 24:53the narrative from the legacy media and bring it directly
- 24:56to you, the people, they're just the tip of the iceberg,
- 25:00because what happened here is so heinous and so overwhelmingly
- 25:05disgusting that I have no idea how it hasn't been
- 25:12the biggest story in the news for three years, and
- 25:14I truly mean that it has all of the elements
- 25:20of the things that want to make you vomit. And finally,
- 25:29starting on Monday, we got to the trial portion of it,
- 25:32and it's being bared for everybody to see an open court.
- 25:37You know, it's one thing when you read an article
- 25:39about what happened to these girls. It's one thing when
- 25:41you know you hear a reporter or me talk about it.
- 25:45It's a whole different story to hear it from their
- 25:47mouths themselves, to hear it from the survivors themselves. And
- 25:52that's why I have one of my biggest things throughout
- 25:55this whole investigation for the last two and a half years,
- 25:57that I've been doing here is so listen directly to
- 26:01what the survivors have to say and not to any
- 26:03of the other noise. I don't need a reporter to
- 26:08tell me what happened. If the survivor is going to
- 26:10tell me her story, right, I prefer to go directly
- 26:13to the source and not play a game of telephone
- 26:16if possible. And the survivors what they did was they
- 26:22pulled an end around on the legacy media because the
- 26:25legacy media was complicit in protecting Jeffrey Epstein. Now that
- 26:29doesn't mean every reporter, right when I say the legacy media,
- 26:32I'm talking about the big shots. So they pulled the
- 26:37old end around, and that's how we got where we
- 26:42are basically, if I'm being real, because if not, if
- 26:45they waited for the legacy media to bring their story
- 26:47to the people, to you, we would have been here forever.
- 26:54And now that we're at the trial portion of it,
- 26:57it's really disturbing to hear the actual situation that these
- 27:04girls were in the stories right from their lips in
- 27:08open court. It's heartbreaking and I don't know how anyone
- 27:12can read the testimony or hear about what happened to
- 27:16them and not just be mortified first and then absolutely
- 27:21pissed off afterwards. There is no scenario where a guy
- 27:26like Jeffrey Epstein and his partner in crime, Glene Maxwell,
- 27:30should be able to conduct this sort of behavior for decades.
- 27:37And it's it's crazy to me that this story hasn't
- 27:42been the number one story for the past few years. Now,
- 27:47obviously it's starting to make that turn. Right, you have
- 27:50people coming out of the woodwork who are interested in
- 27:53this story now, and I say, that's a good thing.
- 27:57I have zero problem going over ground. We all already
- 28:00covered to try and you know, catch people up, because
- 28:04at the end of the day, that's the whole point, right,
- 28:07get as many people aware of what's going on as
- 28:09possible so that we can work together to force our
- 28:13politicians or those in power to change things and to
- 28:17hold people accountable because we know they're not going to
- 28:21do it on their own right. They're gonna need a
- 28:24little nudge from us. And until something becomes this heinous
- 28:28and this in their face, they usually don't make a move.
- 28:33But once in a while they're embarrassed meeting the federal
- 28:36government's embarrassed so much by they're inaction they're forced to
- 28:39take action. And we saw it with R. Kelly. How
- 28:42long did it take to bring him to heal? Wasn't
- 28:45there accusations of him urinating on some little girl back
- 28:49in the day that just got swept under the rug? Right,
- 28:51got a lot of power, a lot of money, you
- 28:53can make that happen. How long was Keith Rainiery able
- 28:56to run around with his Nexium cult and brand women?
- 29:04But once this stuff gets out there, and once the population,
- 29:08the people you hear about it, it becomes a whole
- 29:11different ballgame, and then all of a sudden, the authorities,
- 29:14well now they want to act. And frankly, I'm pretty
- 29:19tired of it. I've seen the pattern now for three years.
- 29:22It's the same story inside of a story, and it's
- 29:26just happens over and over and over again on repeat
- 29:31until recently, anyway, saw R. Kelly go to prison, perfect,
- 29:35Keith Rainiery prison perfect. Now just waiting on Glen Maxwell
- 29:40to get her taste as well. And like R. Kelly,
- 29:44like Keith Rayniery, she's getting a trial. She's going to
- 29:47be able to sit in front of a jury of
- 29:48her peers, and that's something that her victims alleged victims.
- 29:52They didn't have that ability right. They didn't get to
- 29:55choose if they wanted to be abused by Epstein and Maxwell.
- 30:00They didn't get to plead their case before they were abused.
- 30:05But Maxwell, she's getting her trial, she's getting treated as
- 30:08fairly as any other prisoner. To dispel the myths and
- 30:11the rumors about her unfair treatment in jail, that's a
- 30:14bunch of bs. People like her always in solitary confinement.
- 30:21It's called the shoe. They put them in special housing.
- 30:24That way they're not abused and beat up by the
- 30:27other inmates. And that's when you're not famous and you're
- 30:30a pedophile. When you're rich and famous and you've touched children,
- 30:34forget it, you have a green light put on you
- 30:36right away. And her legal team throughout this whole entire
- 30:42fiasco has been very adamant that her being in solitary
- 30:45confinement has been akin to some sort of brutal punishment
- 30:50that you would have only found in the Middle Ages,
- 30:52when in reality it's nothing like that. But you see,
- 30:56that was her strategy the whole way through folks loopholes
- 30:59and technicalities. Loopholes and technicalities, and when you have the
- 31:04kind of money that Glene Maxwell has, it's easy to
- 31:07litigate people into oblivion. So we saw that throughout the
- 31:11years as well, just the specter of their power keeping
- 31:14people in line. But yesterday the testimony of Jane was
- 31:20backed up by Matt. And my assessment of that is
- 31:24if I was on the jury, which I am not,
- 31:26and obviously I can't project because I don't know what
- 31:29the jury is thinking, but if I was on the jury,
- 31:32I personally would take Matt's account very seriously. He has
- 31:37nothing to gain by backing up Jane's account here. There's
- 31:42nothing on the table for him. In fact, he's doing
- 31:44this at great risk of his own, you know, a
- 31:47well being for those of you who are not aware.
- 31:51You know, the remnants of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise nowhere
- 31:55near as powerful as when Epstein was alive and kicking
- 31:59and they were getting up protected from on high. But
- 32:01these are still very powerful people with a lot of money,
- 32:04and a lot of people are not willing to speak
- 32:07out against them. So Matt coming forward yesterday on the
- 32:11stand and speaking out against Glane in defense of what
- 32:16Jane said and corroborating what she said, I think it's
- 32:19going to go a long way with the jury. I
- 32:21think it's going to be a relatively big deal, and
- 32:24I think that the jury is looking at this case
- 32:30and obviously looking at all of the facts, and when
- 32:33you do, it's rather obvious that Maxwell and Epstein were
- 32:39certainly up to no good. And the more of these
- 32:43witnesses that we see come up on the stand, and
- 32:46the more of them that go into the details of
- 32:49what occurred, the more heinous it's going to become, and
- 32:52the more difficult it's going to become for Team Maxwell
- 32:55to spin their way out of it. And remember that
- 32:59was only the first testimony of the first witness. There
- 33:05are three more accusers that are gonna get on that stand,
- 33:07and I'm sure there's going to be some other surprises
- 33:09for us that we don't know about. So after day three,
- 33:17I mean, look, Maxwell's lawyer, Meninger, was very shrewd yesterday
- 33:22and her line of questioning was very targeted. They stayed
- 33:26on the path that they have laid out for themselves
- 33:29and they didn't deviate, and she asked some pretty brutal
- 33:33questions that were cringe worthy in my opinion. Now, I
- 33:36get it, it's her job, right, She's a lawyer. She
- 33:38has to, you know, try and defend her client. But
- 33:41it made me feel dirty listening to it. I can't
- 33:43even imagine being a lawyer and defending people like this.
- 33:47I get it. Look, everybody deserves a lawyer in the
- 33:50United States of America, no matter how scummy you are. Right,
- 33:54that's just the way it goes. Because once we start
- 33:56taking rules away for some, that means the rules for
- 33:59all of us. It could be in jeopardy. So everybody
- 34:02deserves a lawyer, right now, That's about as far as
- 34:06it goes for me. Once you get that lawyer, then great,
- 34:08then you know everything is as it should be. And
- 34:13I hope your fate is sealed after that. And usually
- 34:16when you have a heinous crime, it doesn't matter how
- 34:18good the lawyer is, as long as the evidence holds up.
- 34:22And I think that's what we're looking at here, folks.
- 34:24I think that when all is said and done, we're
- 34:27going to see the evidence hold up, we're going to
- 34:29see the testimony hold up, and we're going to see
- 34:34the real, disgusting, true face of Glenn Maxwell and Jeffrey
- 34:39Epstein completely revealed. You know, it's crazy to me to
- 34:44think that there's people out there that still are in
- 34:46the mentality that this is a money grab. This isn't
- 34:49your typical he said, She said case, there is no
- 34:53gray area here for me anyway. And again, I might
- 34:56be cynical. I've spent a lot of time digging into
- 34:59this story, and I'm not a journalist, right, I'm regular
- 35:03guy like most of you out there. I just happened
- 35:06to have a bigger mouth. But when I started digging
- 35:09into this story and looking at all of the evidence
- 35:12and all of the facts, it was just almost impossible
- 35:16for me to believe that this did not occur, that
- 35:19these girls were not abused. And the mindset that it's
- 35:26all about money, that it's all about money all the time,
- 35:31is just gross to me. What if this was your sister,
- 35:34or your mom, or your aunt or someone you loved,
- 35:37would you say, oh, it's all just about the money.
- 35:39Then we got to remember that these are real people,
- 35:43not just names on a page or somebody being called
- 35:46out in the media. These are real people who have
- 35:49real emotions and feelings, who have suffered greatly at the
- 35:52hands of Jeffrey Epstein and his criminal enterprise. And for
- 35:58them to come back and read live this all again
- 36:01on the stand and going through all of this again,
- 36:04it's a big deal, and it just shines a light
- 36:06on their courage once again. I've never seen a group
- 36:11of more courageous people. And that's not hyperbole. The abuse
- 36:16that these ladies have to suffer, you know, is just
- 36:20out of control. And I don't mean just at the
- 36:22hands of Epstein and Maxwell, the complete assaults on their
- 36:27character for years and years and years at least until recently.
- 36:32And how many times do you hear oh prostitute, this
- 36:34prostitute that breaking news. Children can't be prostitutes. Okay, they
- 36:38can't consent, so how can a child be a prostitute?
- 36:44But now in open court, these accusers, they have their
- 36:50chance to look Alane Maxwell in the eye and say
- 36:53to her what you did to me ruin my life,
- 36:55and I'm here to make sure you get a little
- 36:57taste of justice. And obviously it's not what we all want.
- 37:02It's not far enough, right, it's not far enough. Anyone
- 37:05who sits here and says that up just getting Maxwell
- 37:07that's enough, Well, they don't know what they're talking about. Now,
- 37:11it's a step in the right direction. I'm not going
- 37:13to sit here and downplay the fact that Maxwell's sitting
- 37:15in a jail cell or Jean Luke Brunell is sitting
- 37:18in a jail cell in France. It's a big deal.
- 37:20When I first started covering this case, none of these
- 37:23people were suffering any of the consequences. They all had
- 37:26their positions of power that were all still running around
- 37:28running companies, and now most of the key participants that's
- 37:32not the case. But it still does not go far enough.
- 37:37I don't want to rock the boat, folks, I want
- 37:39to destroy this MF. Enough is enough with people like this.
- 37:48The way that they abuse the most vulnerable in society
- 37:51is just on another level wrong. It's not bad enough
- 37:58that these people ruin lives on a regular basis with
- 38:01their decision making, but now they have to give cover
- 38:05to their buddies who are running trafficking rings as well.
- 38:13And frankly, for myself, and I only speak for myself,
- 38:16I have had a belly full of all of it,
- 38:19a belly full of all the lying, all the bsing,
- 38:22and certainly I've had enough of people like Epstein and
- 38:26Maxwell being able to just do whatever they want and
- 38:30granted carte blanche when they do it. I've never been
- 38:36somebody who called for vigilante justice. Not my thing. I'm
- 38:39somebody who wants the criminal system reformed. I want violent,
- 38:44I mean nonviolent offenders to have a real chance at rehabilitation.
- 38:48And I honestly agree with Maxwell about how screwed up
- 38:52the jails are. But that said, I don't have empathy
- 38:55for her because now that she's in that position, she
- 38:59has to deal with it. Where were you when Khalif
- 39:01Browder was in Rikers Island? Where were you when insert
- 39:05poor person's name here was suffering at the hands of
- 39:08the state. So typical for a rich person like Maxwell
- 39:14until it's her issue, right till she's the one walking
- 39:16in the shoes it Does you really think that she
- 39:19ever thought about prison reform while she's eating her caviat
- 39:22and running around with Epstein grooming children. I'm sure that's
- 39:26what she was thinking about criminal reform. But that's another
- 39:31one of her lines, another one of her things that
- 39:34she's been pumping while she's been in jail, when in reality,
- 39:37we all know the score, we all know the scoop,
- 39:46the absolute assault that we have seen on the survivors
- 39:51by Maxwell and her people. We saw just continued and
- 39:55picked up in the courtroom. Now today we're going to
- 40:00be starting off the proceedings with the witness from interlock In,
- 40:05the executive us vs In or whatever his name was,
- 40:10So they'll finish off with him as the first witness,
- 40:13and then we'll move on to the rest of the
- 40:15witness list. I'm not really too sure who else they're
- 40:18going to call today. I was looking around earlier last
- 40:21night and this morning, and I couldn't find a list
- 40:24of witnesses. So we'll have to play it by ear
- 40:27But in the studio, I'm ready to go. I got
- 40:30the computer locked in, I got the TV monitor on
- 40:33the wall connected to the other computer to watch the
- 40:36h the actual proceedings as they're happening, as far as
- 40:40the transcript's coming out from Inner City Press and Adam
- 40:43Klasfeld and a few others. Make sure you're following all
- 40:46of these people on Twitter if you're looking to catch
- 40:48this stuff as it's happening. Now. I get it, a
- 40:51lot of people don't like Twitter. I am a lot
- 40:53of people not a big fan. I don't really comment
- 40:56too much on there, you know. I I'm on here
- 40:59on the podcast with you folks like for an hour
- 41:01and a half a day. What more can I possibly
- 41:03say on Twitter in one hundred and forty characters? Right, So,
- 41:07if you're into twittering or tweeting or whatever the hell
- 41:10you kids call it these days, I definitely suggest following
- 41:13Adam Klassfeld and Inner City Press. Kate Bricklett from The
- 41:17Daily Beast has done fantastic work here, Yeah, and there
- 41:22are several other outlets where you can get some good
- 41:25quality as it's happening news out of that courtroom. So tonight,
- 41:30like usual, for the evening roundup, we'll go through all
- 41:34of the witnesses again, We'll go through all of the testimony,
- 41:38and I'll break it down and give you my opinion
- 41:41on what occurred. Because it's a long windy road, isn't it, folks.
- 41:49And if we weren't getting these transcripts out by people
- 41:53like the guys over at Inner City Press or Adam Klassfeld,
- 41:56we have to rely on a recap basically from the media,
- 42:01And I for one am glad that we do not
- 42:04have to rely on that, that we have actual people
- 42:06in there just giving it to us as it's coming out.
- 42:09And that's the way I prefer it, right, I prefer
- 42:11raw data, and in this instance, raw testimony. I don't
- 42:16need anybody to spice it up for me and make
- 42:21it digestible. So that's what we'll be doing tonight. And
- 42:25like I said, I'm gonna upload a few episodes about
- 42:28how we got here, some of the proceedings that have
- 42:31taken place obviously in the past, some of the other
- 42:35courtroom procedures, and obviously I'll be uploading some more context
- 42:40episodes as well. I have a catalog of over like
- 42:43sixteen hundred episodes, so as things pop up in this trial,
- 42:48I'm gonna try and add those episodes as we go
- 42:50along to add more context to the conversation. So we'll see, folks,
- 42:55and I'm here for it. We'll definitely keep our eye
- 42:59on what's going on today all day like usual. And
- 43:01this is going to be the process for the next
- 43:04five weeks or so. Now, remember the first week of January,
- 43:08I'll actually be in New York covering this case for
- 43:11the verdict. Now, I plan on staying in New York.
- 43:14I don't know however long it takes to get the verdict,
- 43:17hopefully no longer than a couple of weeks. It's freezing
- 43:20in New York this time of year, but I'll be
- 43:23there for the verdict and my plan is to actually
- 43:25be in the courtroom on those days. So what I
- 43:28will do those days that I'm in New York, I
- 43:31will take my own notes, and when the proceedings end
- 43:35and I get back to my hotel room, we'll get
- 43:38right into it and I'll give you my breakdown on
- 43:40what I saw in the court, what I felt from
- 43:43the witness statements, because you can only get so much
- 43:46from reading it right. It's a different ballgame when you're
- 43:49actually there and you see facial expressions and stuff like that.
- 43:53So I'm looking forward to actually being on the ground
- 43:56to bring you, folks, the story right from the fully courthouse.
- 44:01So with that said, we're gonna wrap it up for
- 44:03this morning. We're about fourteen minutes from the trial starting,
- 44:07so I'll let everybody get their last cup of coffee
- 44:10in and then slide on over to Twitter so that
- 44:13they can follow it live or head into work and
- 44:16wait for later on and me to break it all down.
- 44:19Either way, folks, I really appreciate you all joining me,
- 44:22all of the new listeners that have found their way
- 44:24to this podcast. Thank you for riding with me. I
- 44:27appreciate it, and hopefully you know we all have our
- 44:31seat belts buckled because this is gonna be one bumpy
- 44:34ass ride, folks, but guess what we're here for it.
- 44:39So I hope all of you have a great morning,
- 44:41and I will be back later on tonight, right around
- 44:43the same time as usual to get the recap from
- 44:47the day's proceedings. If you'd like to contact me, you
- 44:50can do that at Bobby Kapuchi at ProtonMail dot com.
- 44:54That's b O B B y C A p U
- 44:57C C I at ProtonMail dot com. You can also
- 45:00find me on Twitter at Bobby underscore cap Ucci. You
- 45:07can also find the links that we discussed, which are
- 45:10none in this episode, but you can usually find those
- 45:12in the description box. All right, everybody, Like I said,
- 45:15I'll be back later on. I hope that all of
- 45:17you have a great day. What's up everyone, and welcome
- 45:21back to the Epstein Chronicles. So we are entering day
- 45:25five of the Gallaine Maxwell trial, and today we can expect,
- 45:30at least at the start for Juanna Lessi to take
- 45:34the stand and receive a bit of a cross examination
- 45:38from Glaine Maxwell's lawyers. Yesterday, the trial wrapped up about
- 45:43thirteen minutes early because the defense didn't want to dive
- 45:49in with only thirteen minutes left, so they chose to
- 45:53begin their cross today instead. So that's how the trial
- 45:57should open up today. Lessie back on the stand and
- 46:02Glenn Maxwell's lawyers hammering away, trying to punch the holes
- 46:07in his story. Now, I would guess that they're going
- 46:10to lock onto the fact that Juanna Lessi clipped sixty
- 46:14three hundred bucks from Jeffrey Epstein to try and hammer
- 46:19home the fact to the jury that this man is unreliable,
- 46:22he's a thief, and he shouldn't be trusted. And that
- 46:27is definitely the kind of strategy you would expect, right
- 46:32because the testimony he's giving certainly does not look good
- 46:37for their client. So if they can muck that up
- 46:40a little bit and maybe throw a little bit of
- 46:43doubt on his character and attempt to impune who he is,
- 46:48then it will make it a lot easier for them
- 46:52to have the jury believing that the testimony he gave
- 46:54was bs. So that's going to be the battle today
- 46:58with the first witness, and I'm very interested to see
- 47:04how it all shakes out because, as we've seen in
- 47:08the last few days since the trial has started, at
- 47:11the very least, Team Maxwell has been going scorched earth,
- 47:15and I would expect them to do the same here
- 47:17with Juana Lessi. But the testimony he gave yesterday, you know,
- 47:24it really corroborates a lot of things we've heard in
- 47:26the past. We've heard about the double sided dildos, the
- 47:33cleaning up that he had to do, We've heard that
- 47:35story before. We've also heard, I mean a huge amount
- 47:42of stories from Virginia about the same kind of deal,
- 47:48the two sided dildo, the massages being brought to the
- 47:51massage room, and what it does, it adds more meat
- 47:55to the bone, right, more context, and it corroborates a
- 47:58lot of those things that we had heard being reported
- 48:02in the news. Now, those of us who have followed
- 48:05the case, we know that all of this stuff is
- 48:07what really happened, right, But when it comes out here
- 48:10in a courtroom setting, well, there's no disputing it anymore.
- 48:16And for Virginia moving forward, this can only bode well
- 48:21for her. In my opinion. It just shows that she's
- 48:25been truthful throughout this whole entire thing, that her recollection
- 48:29of what occurred is bang on and for with her
- 48:36civil case starting January fourth, with the Joe exotic of
- 48:41the Windsor family, Prince Andrew, this is definitely some wind
- 48:46in the sails in my opinion, because Alessi was there
- 48:51for all of it, and him recounting these things during
- 48:58this testimony, it just strengthens what we already have heard
- 49:02from Virginia. So I thought that that was a pretty
- 49:05interesting situation to unfold from yesterday's testimony as well. Now
- 49:12on the flip side of that, like I said yesterday,
- 49:15I don't look at Wuana Lessie as a good guy
- 49:18in this either. In fact, I don't really believe that
- 49:22there are too many good people at all when it
- 49:25comes to Jeffrey Epstein, and that goes for the people
- 49:28who are investigating him as well. Unfortunately. But Wuanna Lessi,
- 49:34he had a chance to stop this. How many times
- 49:36could he have went to the authorities. How many times
- 49:39have he could have, you know, maybe helped one of
- 49:42these girls, but he didn't. So I'm certainly not going
- 49:48to sit here and act like Juanna Lessie is, you know,
- 49:51some hero in this story who came riding in on
- 49:54his horse in his white shining armor to help get
- 49:58some justice, because I have a sneaking suspicion that he
- 50:02didn't do it of his own volition, pretty sure that
- 50:05he was probably pressured by the authorities. Now again, I
- 50:10don't have any evidence of that directly, right, And I can't,
- 50:14you know, point you to an article and say, hey, look,
- 50:17here's exactly where it is. But it would make sense,
- 50:21and especially considering that Alessi was somebody who basically admits
- 50:28that they were a co conspirator by picking these girls up.
- 50:31And so what you mean to tell me, mister Alessi,
- 50:35is that you would pick these girls up, you would
- 50:38bring them back to the house, they'd do the massage
- 50:42air quotes, you'd go in there, clean it up, find
- 50:45dildo's and stuff, and you didn't have any idea what
- 50:47was going on? Talk about not having any kind of
- 50:56like the stand on with that argument, right, How could you?
- 50:59What did you think was going on? So Wanna Lessi
- 51:04is not somebody who I look at in this story
- 51:07and say, ah, yeah, this is one of the few
- 51:09people who are good guys here, one of the few
- 51:11people who really cared. Because it doesn't seem like that's
- 51:15the case. Now. With that said, I'm glad that he's
- 51:20testifying at least better late than never, right, But they're
- 51:26going to attempt to really cut him off at the
- 51:29legs today. They're going to go after his his theft
- 51:36of that sixty three hundred dollars. They're going to ask him,
- 51:39I'm sure, some of the same questions that I just asked,
- 51:43why were you taking part in this? If you thought
- 51:45that this was wrong? All of that stuff, And they're
- 51:48gonna look to really break him down and shatter whatever
- 51:53credibility he has. Now, are they going to be able
- 51:58to do that? I don't really know, but I don't
- 52:01think so when it comes to these kinds of allegations.
- 52:06If it was just mister Alessie making these allegations, I
- 52:10could definitely see how Maxwell's legal team would be able
- 52:15to just cut that off at the pass. But it's
- 52:19not that. Alessie is just one of many witnesses that
- 52:23is being brought forward to paint the picture of the
- 52:28situation going on within Epstein's circle and how Glaiinne Maxwell
- 52:32was a huge part of that. In fact, in the
- 52:37testimony yesterday, he said that Glaine Maxwell came in and
- 52:41she became quote unquote the lady of the house, so
- 52:45she was making all of the decisions. Nobody was making
- 52:47those decisions for her. And it goes to show you
- 52:52again that Maxwell was in a leadership role. She was
- 52:58the one making these decision about what occurred in this house.
- 53:02She was the one setting up all of these different
- 53:07air quotes, massages, and according to the survivors, she was
- 53:13also the one participating in the abuse sometimes. So while
- 53:19we're dealing with a whole host of disgusting human beings,
- 53:24and that's pretty much everybody we're going to hear about
- 53:27in the Jeffrey Epstein trial, I mean the Glenn Maxwell trial.
- 53:30Pretty much everything where everybody we hear about is going
- 53:32to be a scumbag. And the idea is going to
- 53:40be to try and figure out which one of these
- 53:44scumbags is really telling the truth. So that's going to
- 53:50be the task for the jury and for the prosecutors
- 53:55and the defense to hammer out. But so far, we
- 53:59haven't seen anything from Maxwell as far as evidence. And
- 54:03I don't mean in this trial, right, we have a
- 54:05long way to go. I'm talking about leading up to this,
- 54:08there was no big push about her innocence, or anybody
- 54:11coming forward saying well, hey, look, Gleanne Maxwell, this is
- 54:14real out of character for her, she would never do this. Instead,
- 54:18we had girl after girl come forward and talk about
- 54:22how Maxwell was integral in their abuse. We have person
- 54:26after person come forward and talk about how Gleanne Maxwell
- 54:30was just a scummy human being, how she talked about minorities,
- 54:34how she talked about poor people, how she looked at
- 54:37people who weren't part of her social circles as less then.
- 54:42And you could see it in her behavior, the way
- 54:46that she treated these girls as if they were chattel,
- 54:49as if they were playthings, as if they weren't human
- 54:51beings with hopes, dreams, and aspirations. That's the true face
- 54:57of Glenne Maxwell. That's the face that's been exposed to
- 55:00to me for the past two and a half years.
- 55:03And I can't even imagine how long the survivors have
- 55:09been seeing that ugly mug in their face, I mean,
- 55:12in their mind's eye. Because what happened here, folks, is
- 55:20one of the biggest miscarriages of justice perhaps ever. And
- 55:28all of these people, all of these scummy individuals surrounding
- 55:31the lane, Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein, people like this, a
- 55:34Lessie character, Chef Adam Lang, all of these people that
- 55:39were around and then have the audacity to talk about,
- 55:43oh well, I didn't see anything. It's just it's just
- 55:47crazy to me. So now when you get them finally
- 55:52on the stand, someone like Alessie, and you have them
- 55:55under oath, it's nice to see what they have to say,
- 55:58because under normal circumstances, I don't really trust what any
- 56:02of these people say. How can you. The whole entire
- 56:07enterprise of Jeffrey Epstein's was absolutely draconian, and all of
- 56:13these people who took part, all of these people who
- 56:16facilitated it in some way, they all need to go
- 56:20to prison. Maxwell, however, she had a leadership role. She
- 56:32was in a position where she was giving orders to
- 56:35other people so that this whole entire thing could keep
- 56:39moving forward. That's what's been alleged. So when you look
- 56:46at the levels of scumbaggery, Juanna Lessi's certainly on the chart, right,
- 56:53but not as scummy as Glene Maxwell, not in my
- 56:56opinion anyway. So I'm very interested to see what else
- 57:00is coming today as far as testimony from Alessi. Now
- 57:06they're going to attempt to have him go back on
- 57:11what he said yesterday. They're gonna try and trip them up,
- 57:14and you have to expect that the Glen Maxwell strategy
- 57:18will hold here and it'll be all guns blazing, a
- 57:23visceration and try and nuke them from the sky kind
- 57:26of shit, because remember, like I've said, since she's been arrested,
- 57:33it's never going to be about the information in the courtroom, right.
- 57:38That was never their goal. Their goal was to always
- 57:41beat this on a game of loopholes and technicalities, and
- 57:44when that ended, it became scorched earth, burn the whole
- 57:49entire world down. If we have to to get Glane
- 57:52Maxwell off, and that's what they're gonna do. The question
- 57:57is are people going to be receptive to it, meaning
- 58:02the jurors, And if the previous few human trafficking cases
- 58:08that involved big time people have set a precedent, then
- 58:12this strategy is not going to work. This strategy is
- 58:16going to fall on its face. So we'll see a
- 58:20little bit more today which way they're going, But it's
- 58:23gonna be very interesting how it all unfolds and what
- 58:27other witnesses are brought up to the stand today. Again,
- 58:31I looked around to try and find some of the
- 58:33other witnesses. I wasn't able to find out who else
- 58:38will be testifying today, So obviously tonight when we do
- 58:41our evening roundup, will have all of that. But also
- 58:46I wanted to touch on how Glene Maxwell yesterday and
- 58:50throughout the proceedings, I guess has been sketching the court
- 58:55artist as the court artist has been sketching her. How
- 58:59creepy is that? Imagine being this court artist and you're
- 59:02sitting there, You're getting your sketch on, and as you're
- 59:05doing it, Glenn Maxwell staring at you, doing a sketch
- 59:09of you. The hell is wrong with this lady? Pay
- 59:11attention to the trial. No more scribbling. You don't need
- 59:14to draw any stick figures. Okay, pay attention to what's
- 59:18going on here at the trial, Miss Maxwell? Who the
- 59:22hell sits there and sketches the sketch artist. I thought
- 59:27that was a pretty interesting little tidbit from one of
- 59:30the headlines I was reading today, and it made me
- 59:34pause for a second. You would think you have more
- 59:36important things to worry about. If you're Glen Maxwell at
- 59:38this point, you're looking at eighty years of prison you're
- 59:42being called the human trafficker, child abuser, Jeffrey Epstein's co conspirator,
- 59:47and you're worried about drawing a sketch of the sketch artist.
- 59:53I would think that you'd be locked into the case.
- 59:55I know I would be. I wouldn't want to miss
- 59:58a damn thing, never mind draw and sketches of people.
- 1:00:03So the sketch artist. She went on to say that
- 1:00:09she has had this happen to her before, and she
- 1:00:13said that it was during one of these previous trials
- 1:00:19that she had somebody sketching her while she was doing
- 1:00:23the sketching the parvest trial. And then her comment was,
- 1:00:29I guess I look more interesting since the lockouts and
- 1:00:33since COVID, which I thought was a pretty funny statement
- 1:00:36by her. So I guess it's not something that has
- 1:00:39never happened to her before. But I would think that
- 1:00:42somebody like Maxwell, who is basically fighting for their lives
- 1:00:46would have bigger fish to fry, if you will. One
- 1:00:51other thing I wanted to touch on before we wrap
- 1:00:53up this morning is the fact that Glenn Maxwell's supposed husband,
- 1:01:00Scott Borgerson, hasn't been seen anywhere near this trial, so
- 1:01:04once again, it leads us back to the original question,
- 1:01:08were they even married? What was going on with Scott
- 1:01:11Borgerson and Glaane Maxwell. Obviously there was some sort of
- 1:01:17romantic connection there according to reports, but were they really married,
- 1:01:22why were their finances tied up the way they were,
- 1:01:25and what did Scott Borgerson gain from any of this?
- 1:01:31It's been a question that I've been wondering for the
- 1:01:33past few days. And also if he was going to
- 1:01:36end up making an appearance at this trial at all,
- 1:01:39and it certainly doesn't seem like like he's going to.
- 1:01:43And there's also been reports that he has moved on
- 1:01:46from Kallaianne Maxwell. So that whole entire, sordid affair between
- 1:01:50Maxwell and Borgerson, which was an absolute abomination from day one,
- 1:01:56considering Borgerson left his wife and two kids for Gallainne Maxwell.
- 1:02:00Imagine that Thanksgiving conversation on the rebound on the boomerang, So, Mom,
- 1:02:06we were over at Dad's hanging out with Gallan Maxwell
- 1:02:10choke on five pieces of turkey. I mean, really, what
- 1:02:14sort of maniac leaves his wife for Gallen Maxwell? First
- 1:02:18of all, Second of all, have you ever seen a
- 1:02:23bigger shit show than this whole entire ordeal. Oh, it's
- 1:02:28her husband. Her family doesn't know anything about it, but
- 1:02:31all of a sudden, it's her husband. Huh. So I
- 1:02:33would love to be a roach in the rushes and
- 1:02:36to hear that whole entire origin story how that all
- 1:02:40came about. And again, I'm interested to see if this
- 1:02:45dude shows up at all to this trial, but it's
- 1:02:48kind of looking like he's not going to and more
- 1:02:53than likely that whole entire relationship of theirs was some
- 1:02:56kind of sham. I can't really put my finger on
- 1:02:59it yet what was going going on. I don't have
- 1:03:00enough information about the whole entire deal, but there's always
- 1:03:05been something goofy about the Borgerson and Glainne Maxwell relationship.
- 1:03:11I'm gonna post a couple of episodes later on. One of
- 1:03:14them will be about Scott Borgerson and Gallainne Maxwell, and
- 1:03:18uh yeah, it's just one of those things, one of
- 1:03:21those questions that I've had for the last few days,
- 1:03:24wondering if this guy was gonna show up to this
- 1:03:26trial at all, because leading up to this, during the
- 1:03:30proceedings for Bell, Scott Borgerson was, you know, big time involved.
- 1:03:36So I'm wondering what stopped that, and obviously that's probably
- 1:03:42one of those loose ends that we'll never get to
- 1:03:44tie up. But one of those questions that certainly is
- 1:03:49at the forefront of my mind. Not that it's a
- 1:03:52huge deal right as far as the specifics of the case,
- 1:03:56but just one of those unanswered loose and that I
- 1:04:01keep wondering about. So we'll have to see if he
- 1:04:05shows up, we'll see what occurs. We got a long
- 1:04:07way to go in this trial, folks, a long way
- 1:04:09to go, and today, obviously day five, Friday, we'll get
- 1:04:16our wrap up episode in as soon as the proceedings end.
- 1:04:19We'll do the evening update, and then on Saturday and
- 1:04:24Sunday you can expect just some context episodes. I'll upload
- 1:04:28some more stuff to kind of give you an idea
- 1:04:31of the overall picture of what we're dealing with here,
- 1:04:34and a few more episodes about whoever we might hear
- 1:04:39about today in the testimony. Like I said, I have
- 1:04:43like sixteen hundred episodes that I've been that I've put
- 1:04:47out over the last three years. So there's pretty much
- 1:04:51nobody in this case that they're going to touch on
- 1:04:53that I haven't done a deep dive into so as
- 1:04:57the names pop up, I'll add those episodes for a
- 1:05:00little more context for those of you who have just
- 1:05:03found the case or are looking for more information and
- 1:05:07more than just a scratch of the surface. So that's
- 1:05:10what you can be on the lookout for this weekend,
- 1:05:12and then obviously Monday, right back at it. So that's
- 1:05:17gonna wrap it up this morning, folks. We are about, oh,
- 1:05:20I don't know, twenty four minutes away from the trial starting,
- 1:05:25so that should give you folks some time to listen
- 1:05:27to the episode and then prepare yourselves for the trial.
