- 0:17Speaker 1: It is time to leave your warriors outside and laugh
- 0:21Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:25Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Tuesday, June seventeenth,
- 0:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. We had not talked about the Air
- 0:40Speaker 1: India crash here inside the Treehouse because it is extremely
- 0:45Speaker 1: sad and tragic news. We don't typically go that route
- 0:49Speaker 1: on the show. We try to be more of an
- 0:50Speaker 1: escape the whole idea of leave your worries outside, laugh
- 0:55Speaker 1: on the inside of the treehouse. That wasn't until I
- 0:58Speaker 1: learned a little bit more or about this tragic flight.
- 1:05Speaker 1: For example, one guy survived and it is a stunning story.
- 1:11Speaker 1: He was apparently able to just unbuckle his seat belt
- 1:14Speaker 1: and walk out, and I am absolutely floored by that.
- 1:22Speaker 1: The only other thing that could amaze me more about
- 1:25Speaker 1: that story is the fact that this is not the
- 1:29Speaker 1: first time it's ever happened where there has been a
- 1:31Speaker 1: sole survivor of a plane crash. In fact, the man
- 1:37Speaker 1: who survived the Air India flight which killed over two
- 1:42Speaker 1: hundred and forty people. The man who survived the Air
- 1:45Speaker 1: India flight, his name is this washed Kumar Ramesh.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Very well done. See what happens when you have an
- 1:56Speaker 2: Indian friend for over twenty years.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Eventually I'll say all the letters. Yeah. So, mister Ramesh,
- 2:04Speaker 1: the sole survivor of Air India flight that crash last
- 2:08Speaker 1: week seated in seat eleven A, he is not only
- 2:13Speaker 1: not only say hang, I'm trying to have how to
- 2:15Speaker 1: phrase this. He is not the first sole survivor of
- 2:17Speaker 1: a plane crash. And he's also not the first sole
- 2:21Speaker 1: survivor of a plane crash to be seated in seat
- 2:24Speaker 1: eleven A. Another man who survived an airline crash back
- 2:36Speaker 1: in the nineties. In nineteen ninety eight, rung Sak Loyd Chusak,
- 2:41Speaker 1: a tie singer known in the nineties as Iron Bones,
- 2:45Speaker 1: miraculously survived the nineteen ninety eight Thai Airways flight TG
- 2:49Speaker 1: two to sixty one crash, seated in eleven A. That
- 2:54Speaker 1: one killed one hundred and one people and haunted him,
- 2:57Speaker 1: of course, with a decades long, decade long fear of flying.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Nearly twenty seven years later, he felt an eerie chill
- 3:04Speaker 1: learning that this washed Kumar Ramesh, the sole survivor of
- 3:08Speaker 1: the June twelfth Air India seven eighty seven crash, into
- 3:11Speaker 1: a college hostel in Ahmadabad also sat in seat eleven a.
- 3:19Speaker 1: That is freaky. Yes, I'm also worried because I know
- 3:26Speaker 1: how the airline industry works. Their seat pricing is very
- 3:32Speaker 1: pure on supply and demand. Demand will clearly increase for
- 3:37Speaker 1: seats eleven a on all airlines, so I fully expect
- 3:41Speaker 1: the airline industry to jack up the rates on those seats.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Yes, and if anything you know can help heal a tragedy,
- 3:47Speaker 3: and it is laughter in comedy. My buddy, Daniel Fernandez,
- 3:50Speaker 3: is a brilliant comic in India, just posted a video
- 3:53Speaker 3: today where he had flown from Mumbai to Bangalore two
- 3:58Speaker 3: days after the tragedy. Said, it's a very different scene
- 4:01Speaker 3: at the airport. He's like, there were two hundred and
- 4:04Speaker 3: two of us on this flight, and all two hundred
- 4:07Speaker 3: and two requested seat eleven a, he said, And as
- 4:12Speaker 3: the flight took off, everybody gave up good luck, good
- 4:14Speaker 3: luck to you, good luck to you as well. Look,
- 4:17Speaker 3: and when the briefing was happening with the when the
- 4:20Speaker 3: flight attendants were doing their briefing, He's.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Like, people were taking notes. It was really nice. Everybody
- 4:24Speaker 2: was paying attention.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It's amazing how tragedy makes people pay attention to the
- 4:28Speaker 1: safety instructions.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and he just got this entire audience of Indian
- 4:33Speaker 3: people that have been you know, just everybody has their
- 4:36Speaker 3: memes up in there, the pictures up and there's videos
- 4:39Speaker 3: going around about the plane. You can actually see it crashed.
- 4:42Speaker 3: All these people just start belly laughing and you can
- 4:45Speaker 3: tell like that was a really cool healing moment. But
- 4:47Speaker 3: Vishwas his first name is a devout believer. That's what
- 4:53Speaker 3: Wishwas means is like it's a devout believer. So that's
- 4:57Speaker 3: a very cool name to have for a guy who
- 4:59Speaker 3: just walked out of a crash.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Like that's like, that's so that name is going to
- 5:04Speaker 1: surge in popularity along with the popularity to sit in
- 5:07Speaker 1: seat eleven. A.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sure there's gonna be another billion kids named Vishwas.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Now, so boy or girl, it doesn't yeah, it doesn't matter.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Yeah, but that is.
- 5:21Speaker 2: That's pretty his.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I mean, he said there was a little crack the
- 5:25Speaker 3: door the I guess whatever the fuselage and next to
- 5:28Speaker 3: him had cracked open, and he just saw ground and
- 5:32Speaker 3: he just undid his seat belt and walked right out
- 5:35Speaker 3: through that side.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Well, they said on the seven eight seven that is
- 5:39Speaker 5: one of the emergency exit seats.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Oh that is okay, good because I don't think he
- 5:44Speaker 3: was aware when he was being interviewed what that was.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Like. I don't think he realized that the door had
- 5:48Speaker 2: like I guess torn apart.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but yeah, I mean that's a that's an incredible story.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Yeah, there's so much video around that story that, Yeah,
- 6:00Speaker 5: you don't know what's true or what's not. There was
- 6:03Speaker 5: one video that I saw that said it was from
- 6:07Speaker 5: inside the cabin before they took off and nothing electrical
- 6:10Speaker 5: was working.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Yes, I'm getting off the plane.
- 6:14Speaker 5: At that point if I don't care if it takes
- 6:16Speaker 5: me stripping down and crapping on the seat, I'm getting
- 6:19Speaker 5: off that plane.
- 6:21Speaker 3: See now there's a different perspective to everything that's happening
- 6:24Speaker 3: over here. Maybe the in flight movie thing wasn't working,
- 6:28Speaker 3: and she's like, I gotta take a dump in my
- 6:29Speaker 3: seat if I'm gonna get Iron Man three to stream.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Like, but yeah, there.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Was another passenger on a flight from Deli to m
- 6:38Speaker 3: dabad on the same plane and he's like, literally the
- 6:42Speaker 3: air conditioning wasn't working. None of the in flight like
- 6:48Speaker 3: the stuff that was that you can like get order
- 6:51Speaker 3: a drink or you know, watch a movie with all that.
- 6:53Speaker 2: That whole thing.
- 6:53Speaker 3: The remote wasn't working, and then upon takeoff was it
- 6:59Speaker 3: made a call and there was a big loud bang.
- 7:01Speaker 3: I think there's one video that actually you can hear
- 7:05Speaker 3: the bang.
- 7:05Speaker 5: Well there's they now say they can see that. So
- 7:09Speaker 5: those planes have basically like a little windmill that drops
- 7:14Speaker 5: down to generate power if there is something catastrophic happens,
- 7:17Speaker 5: whether it's dual engine loss or something. And they said
- 7:20Speaker 5: that dropped downs obviously either they lost both engines or
- 7:24Speaker 5: something catastrophic happened, and then yeah.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it is. It is interesting though, because I've been
- 7:30Speaker 1: on flights before where there's been certain malfunctions of things
- 7:33Speaker 1: and we weren't really sure what to think of it.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I wouldn't necessarily be concerned if the in flight entertainment
- 7:40Speaker 1: system wasn't working, because my assumption is the plane is
- 7:43Speaker 1: flying on a completely different system than me streaming iron
- 7:46Speaker 1: Man three at least I hope that being said. I
- 7:49Speaker 1: was on a Spared Airlines flight once. I've been on
- 7:52Speaker 1: a number of them, and the emergency raft that was
- 7:57Speaker 1: in the ceiling like there's like a little hatch. It
- 8:00Speaker 1: had kind of popped open, and so we had to
- 8:03Speaker 1: wait for maintenance to come and shove it back in,
- 8:06Speaker 1: seal it up and make sure it was all official.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Whereas I'm thinking, maybe the plane's trying to help us,
- 8:14Speaker 1: Maybe they're trying to lay a hint, like, hey, you
- 8:17Speaker 1: might need this today. Here's where it is. So my
- 8:20Speaker 1: thought was maybe not gemming in there too good because
- 8:22Speaker 1: we might need it later.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I thought, you tell, let you take this one.
- 8:28Speaker 5: I thought you were going to say that like there
- 8:30Speaker 5: was a power issue, and I was like, they just
- 8:32Speaker 5: have to feed the hamster a little bit more.
- 8:35Speaker 3: And I had a question dan as after how many
- 8:38Speaker 3: flights do they start calling you captain?
- 8:41Speaker 1: I am so close. Oh wait, we don't do that
- 8:48Speaker 1: right now, because I have very I have very fun news,
- 8:52Speaker 1: something fun to share with you inside the treehouse. Guys,
- 8:56Speaker 1: you've heard for years Trey rage. For years, you've heard
- 8:59Speaker 1: me talk about how terrible my memory is, and that
- 9:02Speaker 1: right there was a great example of it. I'm supposed
- 9:04Speaker 1: to do a commercial spot here and I damn near
- 9:06Speaker 1: forgot it almost you know, I didn't forget it because
- 9:12Speaker 1: I took my new stuff My new stuff is Magic Mind.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I'll tell you about more here in just a little bit,
- 9:18Speaker 1: but this is a good example. And you for at
- 9:19Speaker 1: other times during the show where I've lost my train
- 9:23Speaker 1: of thought in the middle of a thought and had
- 9:25Speaker 1: to beg for Raj and Trey to guide me back.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. They just leave me,
- 9:30Speaker 1: almost like leaving me in a pasture. I've also mentioned,
- 9:34Speaker 1: and I'll show you how I have to write everything
- 9:36Speaker 1: down to help me stay on track. I have my
- 9:39Speaker 1: routine set so I don't lose focus and wander off
- 9:41Speaker 1: like a dementia patient. But I can only do so much.
- 9:45Speaker 1: So when Magic Mind. When Magic Mind reached out a
- 9:49Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago saying they think their products could help,
- 9:52Speaker 1: I was all for it. And on top of that,
- 10:01Speaker 1: take a drink, Tan, I've already had one.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Two dose kind of guy.
- 10:09Speaker 1: That's that's later in the day. Anyway, Magic Mind was
- 10:12Speaker 1: really cool about it. They insisted I try the product
- 10:14Speaker 1: first and believe in it before accepting the sponsorship. And
- 10:17Speaker 1: you know, we don't put our names on anything we
- 10:19Speaker 1: haven't used or don't believe in, so this seems like
- 10:21Speaker 1: a match made in heaven. Plus When my wife heard
- 10:24Speaker 1: that the Magic Mind products helped make your brain work better,
- 10:27Speaker 1: she was just as excited as I was. And Raj,
- 10:30Speaker 1: you asked me earlier, what is it, I'll tell you.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Magic Mind is a mental performance shot. You can see
- 10:36Speaker 1: they're a little bottle. It's like a little two out shot,
- 10:38Speaker 1: so it's a drink. No jabs, but one of these
- 10:40Speaker 1: per day can help your mind, your energy, and your stress.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And they have three different formulas depending on your needs.
- 10:45Speaker 1: All three Magic Mind formulations share a twelve ingredient stack
- 10:50Speaker 1: of new tropics, adaptogens, vitamins, and antioxidants. The difference between
- 10:55Speaker 1: the three is dosage. I wasn't exactly sure which one
- 10:57Speaker 1: was going to be right for me, so Magic Minds
- 10:59Speaker 1: sent all three so I could try for six days,
- 11:02Speaker 1: two days for each formula and tell you how they did.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I started with the original last Sunday, loved it. It
- 11:07Speaker 1: was actually the most productive Sunday I've ever had. I
- 11:10Speaker 1: took the original again on Monday, which was a great
- 11:12Speaker 1: start to the week, and then I noticed an energy
- 11:14Speaker 1: boost without my normal midday coffee, and I felt more
- 11:17Speaker 1: laser focused on finding great stories to share with you
- 11:21Speaker 1: here inside the show. Next up. On Tuesday, I tried
- 11:24Speaker 1: the Magic Mind Max to help push me through the
- 11:27Speaker 1: middle of the week. It was really nice to feel
- 11:29Speaker 1: a push of energy throughout the day without getting jittery
- 11:31Speaker 1: and without the wandering mind I typically get by mid afternoon.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Then I ended the week with Magic Mind Free, which
- 11:37Speaker 1: is the caffeine free formula. For just one week, I
- 11:40Speaker 1: think I found a pretty nice balance, and because of that,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I believe this here. The original formula is the one
- 11:47Speaker 1: that is right for me. So it has some caffeine,
- 11:49Speaker 1: but not too much because I don't need too much
- 11:51Speaker 1: because I already drink coffee in the morning, so I
- 11:52Speaker 1: don't want to overload myself on the caffeine. I do
- 11:56Speaker 1: think though, that if you guys were to try this, Raj,
- 12:00Speaker 1: I think you would be good with the caffeine free
- 12:04Speaker 1: Magic Mind because you're not big on caf caffeinated drinks
- 12:07Speaker 1: in general, so I'd say you don't need that, but
- 12:09Speaker 1: it still has all the other good stuff in there
- 12:11Speaker 1: for you and portray. I would recommend the MAX, which
- 12:14Speaker 1: is the max caffeine.
- 12:17Speaker 6: What are you saying, Dan, Yeah, that maybe you just
- 12:22Speaker 6: want you want an extra afternoon boost, or maybe maybe
- 12:25Speaker 6: you can take you know, you take it about an
- 12:27Speaker 6: hour before you go to do your h don't hit
- 12:29Speaker 6: yourself in the head kettlebell workouts.
- 12:32Speaker 2: That would have been great, Like what are you trying
- 12:33Speaker 2: to say?
- 12:33Speaker 7: Dan?
- 12:33Speaker 2: And he just hits the mic is.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Like, so I want you to experience magic Mind, just

- 13:06Speaker 1: more important detail to point out here. They have a

- 14:17Speaker 10: potentially could get larger. We see this every single day.
- 14:20Speaker 10: We've seen some flashing that has been blown up, you know,
- 14:24Speaker 10: several months ago, or we saw some homes that basically
- 14:28Speaker 10: shingles have been missing for quite as many years, and
- 14:31Speaker 10: they start leaking, and then guess what happens. You get
- 14:34Speaker 10: water inside your attic. You don't know about it obviously
- 14:37Speaker 10: because it's stole in your attic, and then it starts
- 14:39Speaker 10: soaking all the wood and all the sheet rock, and
- 14:41Speaker 10: then one day your ceiling caves in and you're like,
- 14:44Speaker 10: what the hell just happened? Well, that's because you had
- 14:47Speaker 10: water coming in your house for the last year and
- 14:51Speaker 10: you probably didn't know about it because most people, unfortunately,
- 14:54Speaker 10: just don't take advantage of us coming out and.
- 14:57Speaker 4: Doing the inspection. That's all it is.
- 15:00Speaker 10: It's not a big thing, but it can turn into

- 15:54Speaker 1: along with Tree Turn Home and Raj Sharma. All right,
- 15:57Speaker 1: enough waiting Trey, how is your first trip or no,
- 16:01Speaker 1: this isn't your first trip to Vegas. It was Daisy
- 16:03Speaker 1: the Chihua was first trip to Vegas. It was okay,
- 16:07Speaker 1: how was your trip to Vegas?
- 16:09Speaker 5: It was good, hectic, but Daisy proved herself to be
- 16:14Speaker 5: quite the traveler. She did not get phased by anything,
- 16:17Speaker 5: and you know, a little nervous at the beginning of
- 16:21Speaker 5: the flight that settled in and then got to the
- 16:23Speaker 5: hotel room, and she thought it was the best thing ever,
- 16:26Speaker 5: running around like.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Party like a rock star, jumping on the bed for
- 16:32Speaker 4: a fifteen year old dog.
- 16:33Speaker 5: So I was in a suite that had like a
- 16:36Speaker 5: lower level, like kind of like a den area where
- 16:39Speaker 5: you could watch TV, where the.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Desk is stuff like that.
- 16:42Speaker 5: Okay, and it had two fairly big steps, and so
- 16:46Speaker 5: I put her down the lower level, thinking at her age,
- 16:48Speaker 5: she's not gonna be able to get up the steps.
- 16:49Speaker 4: I was wrong.
- 16:51Speaker 1: So she got that Vegas doll in her.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the pure oxygen that they pump in to
- 16:57Speaker 3: the to the hotels that they say like they're pumping
- 16:59Speaker 3: in pure oxy.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I'm like, I hope nobody likes a cigarette, because.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Oh, that's actually really brilliant. So This might actually be
- 17:05Speaker 1: the secret to longevity for Daisy. She's just got to
- 17:08Speaker 1: stay in Vegas.
- 17:10Speaker 5: You see some of the people playing slot machines, and yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 5: there may be something to that.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Like they look alive, but they've been dead for like
- 17:19Speaker 1: eleven twelve years.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Yeah, they look like the cripp keeper put money in.
- 17:24Speaker 1: They only get removed when the bank account finally hit zero.
- 17:28Speaker 3: And I just want to know what cigarettes they smoke
- 17:30Speaker 3: because the ash never falls.
- 17:31Speaker 4: It's just like.
- 17:32Speaker 3: One giant ash and then they hit a giant pot
- 17:35Speaker 3: and kind of move and then everything falls on their lap.
- 17:38Speaker 2: So I just want to know what brand that is.
- 17:42Speaker 4: Paul Mall.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Tray is actually correct.
- 17:45Speaker 5: Yeah, And the coolest thing when we got there, we
- 17:51Speaker 5: got surprised at one of the people we were with
- 17:54Speaker 5: at got tickets to the Kenny Chesney concert at the Sphere.
- 17:59Speaker 5: The Sphere is you get to an age where you
- 18:01Speaker 5: really don't think you're gonna be that blown away by anything.
- 18:04Speaker 4: The Sphere is.
- 18:06Speaker 5: The most incredible venue I have ever seen. It is
- 18:09Speaker 5: just I find a band that you want to see
- 18:13Speaker 5: that's playing there, go see them.
- 18:15Speaker 4: It is hell.
- 18:17Speaker 5: You mean, you don't even have to like the band
- 18:19Speaker 5: band The visual show that goes with that thing is
- 18:22Speaker 5: just unbelievable.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Did uh? Did you have a little more appreciation for
- 18:28Speaker 1: seeing Kenny Chesney a concert knowing that you've actually been
- 18:31Speaker 1: to the Virgin Islands that he sings about a lot.
- 18:33Speaker 5: And yeah, and like some of the clips he ran
- 18:38Speaker 5: where like obviously they had a you know, drones fine
- 18:41Speaker 5: over everything else. I even recognize a few of the things.
- 18:44Speaker 5: And but yeah, it was very cool.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Can you fear thing just I'm sorry, Trey God oh.
- 18:51Speaker 4: As I'm say.
- 18:52Speaker 5: Kenny Chesney is one of those artists that you forget
- 18:54Speaker 5: how many hits he has and yeah, all of a
- 18:58Speaker 5: sudden you're like, oh, yeah, I know that's not gonna
- 18:59Speaker 5: know that's I know that song. Yeah, and he puts
- 19:02Speaker 5: on a great show. You know, it's not the show
- 19:06Speaker 5: is the sphere. He just was there playing and having fun.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I think he's there in like a six week run
- 19:13Speaker 1: or something like that.
- 19:14Speaker 4: He was there he started.
- 19:17Speaker 5: Beginning of May, and I think his last show there
- 19:19Speaker 5: is this Saturday twenty first.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I know our friend Anna Daharo, who we just had
- 19:25Speaker 1: on the show the other day from Lone Star ninety
- 19:28Speaker 1: two to five in Dallas. She went to Vegas a
- 19:31Speaker 1: couple of months ago and saw a show at the
- 19:33Speaker 1: Sphere as well, and for the life of me, I
- 19:35Speaker 1: can't remember what the band was, but similar to you,
- 19:38Speaker 1: all the clips and things she posted online on social
- 19:41Speaker 1: media just fantastic in that place. I know that when
- 19:45Speaker 1: you post some when you record something on your phone
- 19:48Speaker 1: and you post it, say to Instagram, it gets compressed,
- 19:51Speaker 1: so the video quality is not as good as what
- 19:53Speaker 1: you would see in person. But the videos that I
- 19:57Speaker 1: see online of the Sphere are still freakishly damned impressive.
- 20:01Speaker 1: So it's hard for me to even fathom how good
- 20:03Speaker 1: it actually looks in person.
- 20:05Speaker 5: It's I mean, I was so happy I had gotten
- 20:07Speaker 5: a new phone right before I went, so the camera
- 20:12Speaker 5: quality was just so much better. But yet you can't.
- 20:15Speaker 5: I mean you almost at times, if you're really you
- 20:19Speaker 5: would get vertigo. But I mean even I mean, it
- 20:23Speaker 5: sounds stupid, but Kenny Chestey for one of the songs,
- 20:25Speaker 5: obviously they had equipped a NASCAR car with cameras and
- 20:31Speaker 5: they're going around the track, and because of the curves
- 20:34Speaker 5: and everything else, so when they're going around a turn
- 20:36Speaker 5: in the car, it's like you're going around a turn
- 20:40Speaker 5: in the sphere, and it really is.
- 20:43Speaker 4: It's James Dolan.
- 20:47Speaker 5: You have the guy who owns that, who owns the
- 20:49Speaker 5: Nicks and Madison Square Garden generally considered just an ass,
- 20:53Speaker 5: but he's brilliant for this one. And I completely understand
- 20:57Speaker 5: why they're talking about like opening up five more around
- 20:59Speaker 5: the world world.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Oh sure, yeah, that makes sense. I will say you
- 21:02Speaker 1: touched on something that would be my concern based on
- 21:04Speaker 1: one of the videos I saw you post of the
- 21:06Speaker 1: Kenny Chesney Show. Is I am motion sickness sensitive, extremely
- 21:13Speaker 1: motion sickness sensitive. And I remember as a kid taking
- 21:17Speaker 1: a field trip to the Imax Theater and the I remember,
- 21:23Speaker 1: like just the intro video of the helicopter flying around
- 21:28Speaker 1: like Dallas and Fort Worth. They had seat belts you
- 21:30Speaker 1: had to put on. That made me nauseous as a kid.
- 21:33Speaker 1: I can't fathom what that would be like in a
- 21:35Speaker 1: setting like that. That's kind of like Imax on steroids.
- 21:37Speaker 5: I can't explain it. Well, they don't do any shots
- 21:40Speaker 5: like that, or at least they didn't.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Because they don't want people falling down the sphere well
- 21:46Speaker 1: or vomiting.
- 21:48Speaker 5: It's funny, and obviously I have a feeling they have
- 21:52Speaker 5: studied this because when I first walked in and sat down,
- 21:56Speaker 5: there was one point where it was like holy crap.
- 21:58Speaker 4: But then you just adjust to it.
- 22:00Speaker 5: And I didn't see air hear anybody complaining about it.
- 22:06Speaker 5: And normally you're right, people would, I mean because of
- 22:10Speaker 5: the angle and everything else, but it but it really
- 22:13Speaker 5: is like they're doing some I don't know if they're
- 22:16Speaker 5: showing the movie or whatever. They're doing a Wizard of
- 22:18Speaker 5: Oz thing later on in the summer, and I would
- 22:22Speaker 5: go see that movie in the sphere just uh, I
- 22:26Speaker 5: mean it would be freaky as hell.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Well, sure, because the little because then the little people
- 22:30Speaker 1: will be huge.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know if it's adjusting to it or
- 22:36Speaker 3: giving up. I don't know what phrase you use, but
- 22:39Speaker 3: like I remember being an IMAX and the when the
- 22:43Speaker 3: Dark Knight came out and he's on the very tip
- 22:46Speaker 3: of like the one of the buildings, and I just
- 22:48Speaker 3: went out loud. I went nope, and then just put
- 22:51Speaker 3: my head down. That's the first time I ever got
- 22:58Speaker 3: shushed in the movie. Did I just went nope?
- 23:03Speaker 1: Did you stand watching the rest of the film, Yeah,
- 23:05Speaker 1: I just the girl that I was with had to
- 23:06Speaker 1: nudge me, like Okay, they're done, he's done looming, and
- 23:10Speaker 1: I was like, that's why.
- 23:11Speaker 2: That's when I had that moment. It was a very
- 23:13Speaker 2: sad moment.
- 23:14Speaker 3: That's when I realized as a I will never be
- 23:17Speaker 3: a superhero because of my fear of heights.
- 23:19Speaker 4: You can't be.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the thing that's holding you back.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Yes, that's exactly what it is.
- 23:30Speaker 11: You're in the Treehouse online treouse on air dot com.
- 23:37Speaker 1: If it wasn't for my fear of heights, I'd totally

- 24:22Speaker 1: Treehouse Show. I'm Dan, He's trade, that's Raj Raj. You
- 24:26Speaker 1: really think that it's your fear of heights that's holding
- 24:29Speaker 1: you back from superherom. You really think if it wasn't
- 24:31Speaker 1: for your fear of heights, you could be Batman. Yes,
- 24:35Speaker 1: it turns out your super hero power is sheer arrogance.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Here's the thing Batman has. No he has gadgets, there's
- 24:45Speaker 3: no super strength. He wasn't he didn't come from space.
- 24:49Speaker 3: He had rich parents and he inherited a fortune. So
- 24:51Speaker 3: it's like, hey, make me some cool stuff, and they did.
- 24:55Speaker 4: Here's the problem. He has no fear of heights. I do.
- 24:59Speaker 3: And when you're Batman you have to be on top
- 25:00Speaker 3: of a building to be believable. Like me, I would
- 25:03Speaker 3: be street level and that doesn't look like that's not
- 25:07Speaker 3: You don't yell out for help to a guy in
- 25:10Speaker 3: a Batman suit on the street, like just walking with
- 25:13Speaker 3: a cup of coffee in his hand like that.
- 25:16Speaker 2: If you want Batman.
- 25:17Speaker 3: You look up in the air and he's on top
- 25:18Speaker 3: of a building like a gargoyle, like a.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Bat because bats fly, they're up on things, and.
- 25:23Speaker 3: They're like, oh, he'll save me. I he looks like Batman.
- 25:27Speaker 3: I would look like a failed actor who's going to
- 25:30Speaker 3: some kid's birthday party because that's the gig I got
- 25:33Speaker 3: that day. But yes, that's what prevented me from saving
- 25:38Speaker 3: lives and fighting crime.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Dam Okay. So if you were trying to have a phrase, Okay,
- 25:44Speaker 1: I got it. If you had the same exact upbringing
- 25:48Speaker 1: as Bruce Wayne.
- 25:50Speaker 4: So not Indian parents, it's sure.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Okay, nationalities be damned, but just situationally, everything the same. Right,
- 25:59Speaker 1: you think you could be Batman if it wasn't for
- 26:01Speaker 1: the fear of heights.
- 26:03Speaker 3: If I had white billionaire parents, I could be badman.
- 26:06Speaker 3: If I had Indian billionaire parents, I'd be the richest
- 26:08Speaker 3: doctor in the world. Like this d be damn no, no, no,
- 26:14Speaker 3: you can't go to an Indian like Indian mom and dad, Like, hey,
- 26:17Speaker 3: so I'm gonna drop out of med school. What do
- 26:19Speaker 3: you want to be Batman? Okay, so he wants to
- 26:22Speaker 3: be Batman, then I am scupid man. And then then
- 26:24Speaker 3: that's all you're gonna get is just grief, Like I
- 26:27Speaker 3: want to save lives. That's what doctors do, Like that's
- 26:30Speaker 3: what they would be. So if I had the white
- 26:32Speaker 3: parents that were billionaires gunned down and I'm I need revenge, yes,
- 26:37Speaker 3: but they're no fear of heights and no fear of fights. Okay, Yeah,
- 26:40Speaker 3: and a Butler. That was really cool. I think we
- 26:43Speaker 3: could do it together. I think we could make it happen.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Wouldn't you like, if you had the money, wouldn't you
- 26:49Speaker 2: be Batman? No?
- 26:52Speaker 1: No, no, Trey, No really the car suit, no, trust me,
- 27:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna have a car. I'm gonna have I might
- 27:04Speaker 1: have a suit. It's gonna look cool, but I'm I'm
- 27:07Speaker 1: not gonna be standing on I'm not standing on any
- 27:09Speaker 1: rooftops look looking up.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yes, drest as Batman, but not fighting. No.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I don't even think I dressed as a.
- 27:16Speaker 5: I if I, you know, a billionaire, I really would hope.
- 27:20Speaker 5: I have better things to do at night than uh,
- 27:23Speaker 5: put on a costume and go run around looking for fights.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I did that when I was eleven. It was right
- 27:31Speaker 1: after I saw the American Ninja movies and I roamed
- 27:34Speaker 1: around my neighborhood with a plunger handle. They'd be like, ah,
- 27:39Speaker 1: I'll I'll save the neighborhood, and instead people just called
- 27:45Speaker 1: the police because they thought there was a peeping tom
- 27:48Speaker 1: running through everybody's bushes. It was just eleven year old me.
- 27:51Speaker 3: If laying Ninja, I love to hear the phone call
- 27:54Speaker 3: from the people calling the police, like, yeah, we gotta
- 27:56Speaker 3: we got a peeping tom out here though. No, no, no,
- 27:58Speaker 3: that's just big pencil Danny.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Watch the movie now, I think you can fight crime.
- 28:04Speaker 1: That's right. I'm just run around the neighborhood. I am.
- 28:06Speaker 4: I am the neighborhood. Watch me.
- 28:12Speaker 2: That's a picture I pay money for.
- 28:14Speaker 4: And ra do you really want to be Batman? Or
- 28:17Speaker 4: do you just want the white butler? You got me.
- 28:27Speaker 8: You're listening to the Treehouse.

- 29:00Speaker 1: That's at Treehouse on Air. Give us a follow today
- 29:04Speaker 1: on social media. For example, you could actually see a
- 29:09Speaker 1: version of what Raj would look like as Batman on
- 29:13Speaker 1: our social media at Treehouse on Air. It's Bollywood Batman
- 29:17Speaker 1: and just with a little bit of choreography lessons, Raj,
- 29:21Speaker 1: you could be Bollywood Batman.
- 29:23Speaker 4: I don't.
- 29:24Speaker 3: I don't have that kind of mustache capability. But if
- 29:27Speaker 3: I did, you better believe it. I would be right
- 29:31Speaker 3: along with that guy dancing as well.
- 29:34Speaker 1: That is what the makeup department is for, at the
- 29:36Speaker 1: very least. Based on the Bollywood Superman video you just
- 29:41Speaker 1: posted the other day. You got that now, I mean
- 29:43Speaker 1: that's nothing. I mean there is no effort whatsoever. Even
- 29:45Speaker 1: the guy that portrayed Superman in the Bollywood version of it,
- 29:50Speaker 1: he didn't do any extreme diets to get shredded. It
- 29:53Speaker 1: doesn't even look like he ever worked out. I think
- 29:55Speaker 1: the only time he got off the couch was to
- 29:57Speaker 1: shoot the movie and then when he was done after
- 29:59Speaker 1: the take, he sat back down.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:02Speaker 3: I mean, Superman is a lot better than all carbs
- 30:05Speaker 3: and Butterman. That's what he looks like. But that's you know,
- 30:08Speaker 3: that doesn't inspire the children. But that again, that's why
- 30:11Speaker 3: if you look at it, it's Spider Man with us,
- 30:14Speaker 3: it's Superman with Spider Woman. So they've even taken two
- 30:16Speaker 3: different they just take two different comics and make them
- 30:20Speaker 3: clash and it's somehow it worked. Yeah, but that's why
- 30:22Speaker 3: we don't have that's why we don't have Indian superheroes.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Yeah, but look, mom, he's he's full of hope. No, no,
- 30:29Speaker 1: he's he's full of ticky Marsala.
- 30:32Speaker 2: That's what happens when you leave med school.
- 30:34Speaker 3: That's what he's just flying in the air with a
- 30:38Speaker 3: girl dancing.
- 30:38Speaker 4: That's it.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why all superheroes are white. There's not another
- 30:43Speaker 3: superhero that that isn't They're all white because.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Yeah, white people have white people, you have white parents.
- 30:48Speaker 1: No, I'm not dinging you because you're correct. I'm dinging
- 30:50Speaker 1: you because you touched on something that someone touches on
- 30:53Speaker 1: during Treehouse Talkback. Okay, yeah, yeah, it's kind of awkward though,
- 30:58Speaker 1: so bear with me here for just a moment.
- 31:03Speaker 2: All right.
- 31:03Speaker 1: So, in today's version of Treehouse talk Back, inside the Treehouse,
- 31:07Speaker 1: someone tried to leave a message, but they didn't quite
- 31:09Speaker 1: get the audio portion down, but they did label it properly.
- 31:13Speaker 1: They labeled the clip of no audio white bashing with
- 31:19Speaker 1: Raj and I know what they were referring to. They
- 31:22Speaker 1: were referring to the episode last week that Trey was
- 31:25Speaker 1: on his epic trip to Albuquerque and we were talking
- 31:28Speaker 1: to Rebecca Black about the survey about how many people
- 31:32Speaker 1: would go to a real life Jurassic Park, and you
- 31:34Speaker 1: have said of the twenty nine percent of people that
- 31:36Speaker 1: said yes, they're one hundred percent white, got it?
- 31:38Speaker 4: Yes?
- 31:39Speaker 1: And then I told you guys just the other day
- 31:41Speaker 1: that the data that we saw actually showed more black
- 31:45Speaker 1: people said yes to going to Jurassic Park than white people, which,
- 31:48Speaker 1: of course you just immediately discredited. So I know this
- 31:51Speaker 1: happens every single time you say the word white people.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Some of our sensitive white listeners think you're white bashing.
- 31:56Speaker 1: It's like, no, we're just shining a light on some
- 31:59Speaker 1: things that seem to be stereotypically true about whites. It's
- 32:02Speaker 1: usually white people that climb everest and die on it.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Yeah, and if you just go I mean, I'm not
- 32:07Speaker 3: white bashing anything.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Here's the thing.
- 32:09Speaker 3: If you go back and watch Jurassic Park, just look
- 32:12Speaker 3: at the cast and uh and we'll see if I'm incorrect.
- 32:16Speaker 2: I'm just I'm just saying, oh.
- 32:18Speaker 1: They had Sam, they had Sam Jackson there.
- 32:20Speaker 5: Yes, Okay, I'm the whitest person around, and I agree
- 32:24Speaker 5: with Raj.
- 32:25Speaker 4: I feel like I lend some credibility to this.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Dude.
- 32:28Speaker 1: I'm with you. There's and that, but that, But that's
- 32:31Speaker 1: my point. This is why I wanted to bring it
- 32:32Speaker 1: up because I know some people, white people get butt
- 32:36Speaker 1: hurt about Raj pointing out a white stereotype. Well, let's
- 32:40Speaker 1: let's let's pump the brakes on the white hypocrisy here,
- 32:43Speaker 1: because we've had centuries as white people to make fun
- 32:46Speaker 1: of people of color stereotypes. I think it's only fair
- 32:50Speaker 1: for them to be able to shine a light on
- 32:52Speaker 1: the white stereotypes. We all have them. We can all
- 32:55Speaker 1: laugh at ourselves. And if you think that's white bashing,
- 32:59Speaker 1: well there's video online that actually is.
- 33:03Speaker 3: But that's why I always look to Tray when I'm
- 33:06Speaker 3: going to bring up something. I'm like, I look at
- 33:07Speaker 3: him and he gives me the go ahead. It's he
- 33:10Speaker 3: gives me the Tray nod.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 1: And and here it is possibly the best example of
- 33:16Speaker 1: why you shouldn't be butt hurt if you think we're
- 33:19Speaker 1: white bashing. All we're doing is pointing out certain stereotypes
- 33:24Speaker 1: that are easily and only applied to white people. Case
- 33:27Speaker 1: in point, Trey's stepmom took him to Line Country Safari
- 33:31Speaker 1: as a child. Tray is white, his stepmom is white.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Before they got to Line Country Safari, she stopped at
- 33:38Speaker 1: the grocery store to get a pound of ground beef
- 33:40Speaker 1: and before going into the line enclosure. She got out
- 33:43Speaker 1: of the car and rubbed the card down with the
- 33:45Speaker 1: ground meat. M I never saw Nel Carter do that.
- 33:49Speaker 2: No, and you won't see a bunch of Hindus doing
- 33:52Speaker 2: that either.
- 33:57Speaker 1: It's not white bashing, it's just pointing out the white's
- 34:00Speaker 1: adventurous spirit.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Yes, let's change the name, the adventurous spirits of the
- 34:08Speaker 3: white folk.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, let's say that.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I like that better thrill seekers.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Brown people lived around Everest for hundreds and thousands.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Of years and didn't try to climb the damn thing.
- 34:21Speaker 3: And then you guys showed up and like look at
- 34:23Speaker 3: the brown and were like, hey, this is you live here?
- 34:26Speaker 3: How about climbing us up there? Like how much you're
- 34:28Speaker 3: gonna pay us? And we'll pay you this much. Like
- 34:30Speaker 3: let's climb, brother, Let's like we are. And then we
- 34:34Speaker 3: made it to the top.
- 34:35Speaker 4: You didn't.
- 34:36Speaker 2: We came back down.
- 34:37Speaker 4: We still got paid. That's a good day. What happened?
- 34:41Speaker 2: Who the guy with the green boots still missing?
- 34:44Speaker 4: He's up there.
- 34:46Speaker 2: And then that's where he lives now. So yeah, not
- 34:50Speaker 2: one time. You're correct. You don't see bass jumpers that
- 34:53Speaker 2: are Indian people. We're good.
- 34:57Speaker 1: I've been looking.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Me too.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Every guy I saw over like this past week, and
- 35:03Speaker 1: I was searching around because I saw a guy doing
- 35:06Speaker 1: one of those flying squirrel suit videos and I was like, hey,
- 35:10Speaker 1: look it's a white guy doing something dumb. So then
- 35:12Speaker 1: I was like, let me see if there's any other
- 35:13Speaker 1: videos like this of someone of a different skin tone
- 35:17Speaker 1: doing it.
- 35:17Speaker 4: No all white guys.
- 35:19Speaker 3: When they made the movie Blackula, it was an outrage
- 35:22Speaker 3: in the seventies, people were like, there's no black vampires.
- 35:26Speaker 13: Correct, you're in the Treehouse.

- 36:33Speaker 1: week is pretty cool. We are everywhere going ahead forget
- 36:38Speaker 1: that and speaking of being everywhere, Today is Tuesday, June seventeenth,
- 36:46Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays. Kendrick
- 36:52Speaker 1: Lamar is thirty eight years old today, super Bowl halftime entertainer,
- 36:59Speaker 1: legendary rapper, and Pulitzer Prize winner.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Not too shabby. Yeah, lyrical genius.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the only musical act I can think of
- 37:15Speaker 1: that's one of Pulitzer Prize like it's it's it was
- 37:17Speaker 1: unfair to say the only rapper, which would be true,
- 37:19Speaker 1: but I don't really know of any other singers or
- 37:24Speaker 1: artists like that that have won Pulitzers. But kender Klamar
- 37:27Speaker 1: has so good on him.
- 37:28Speaker 3: Yeah, he just did shows in Toronto, Drake's territory and
- 37:32Speaker 3: it went really well. So I think there's a shift
- 37:35Speaker 3: in the movement of the Kendrick Lamar versus Drake Beef.
- 37:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I think he's one and the only movement left is
- 37:43Speaker 1: in Drake's pants. Other birthdays today. Tennis star Venus Williams
- 37:50Speaker 1: turns forty five. Venus Williams forty five, half of the
- 37:53Speaker 1: Williams sisters will forte. He is mcgruber. He's fifty five.
- 38:00Speaker 1: He was also on the show Last Man on Earth,
- 38:02Speaker 1: which turned out to be a lie because there turned
- 38:03Speaker 1: out to be lots of other people left on Earth
- 38:05Speaker 1: on that show. Jason Patrick is fifty nine. He is
- 38:11Speaker 1: Corey Haim's brother in The Lost Boys. He's also Sandra
- 38:14Speaker 1: Bullock's love interests in Speed to Cruise Control. So he
- 38:19Speaker 1: was the one that came in after Kean u Reid
- 38:24Speaker 1: Speed Toode.
- 38:26Speaker 3: That's when the studio is like, Keanu just said, no,
- 38:29Speaker 3: who can we get. Let's get someone that looks kind
- 38:31Speaker 3: of like.
- 38:33Speaker 2: Shave his head put him in. We're good.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Oh man, I did not know this. By the way,
- 38:41Speaker 1: Jason Patrick, his dad was Jason Miller, who played Father
- 38:45Speaker 1: Damien in the Exorcist. And he's also the grandson of
- 38:49Speaker 1: Jackie Gleeson.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Wow, that is a weird lineage.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Jackie Gleeson The Exorcist. Speed to Greg Kannear turned
- 39:07Speaker 1: sixty two years old today. He started out on Talk
- 39:11Speaker 1: Soup on E, then he ended up in one of
- 39:15Speaker 1: Trey's favorite movies, As Good as It Gets. In that film,
- 39:20Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure Greg Kannear won an OSCAR for Best
- 39:23Speaker 1: Supporting Actor. That being said, he did not have the
- 39:29Speaker 1: best line in that movie, the best line in As
- 39:34Speaker 1: Good as It Gets, was delivered perfectly by Jack Nicholson.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Paid tribute inside the Treehouse now by our very own
- 39:42Speaker 1: trade Trenhault.
- 39:46Speaker 4: I take a man and I take away reason and accountability.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Chills.
- 39:55Speaker 4: Good question. Mark that women so well.
- 40:05Speaker 1: That line hits. That movie came out in nineteen ninety
- 40:08Speaker 1: eight and it still slaps.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah, not in.
- 40:11Speaker 1: A domestic violence kind of way, just in a.

- 41:10Speaker 1: touched a little bit of Treehouse talkback earlier, so let's
- 41:13Speaker 1: jump back into that now.
- 41:17Speaker 8: Hi, guys, Robert, Hello Robert.
- 41:21Speaker 14: To counter Roger's point about firing squad being eighteenth or
- 41:26Speaker 14: nineteenth century period. In nineteen seventy seven, the mortuary mended
- 41:34Speaker 14: on death penalty executions in the United States and Gary Gilmore,
- 41:39Speaker 14: serial killer from Utah, was put to death by firing squad.
- 41:45Speaker 14: Utah is the only state that allows firing squad and
- 41:50Speaker 14: is the only one in the modern era to have.
- 41:55Speaker 8: Executed someone.
- 41:56Speaker 14: About firing squad again in nineteen seventy seven.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Trey, I let you go first.
- 42:05Speaker 4: Robert is our very own Cliff Claven.
- 42:09Speaker 1: There's a special stool with his name on it every
- 42:11Speaker 1: single day.
- 42:14Speaker 5: I believe the story was that they also allowed in
- 42:17Speaker 5: South Carolina, because I believe that was the story that
- 42:19Speaker 5: someone had chosen to firing squad, and I believe it
- 42:23Speaker 5: was South Carolina.
- 42:24Speaker 1: In March twenty twenty five, Brad Sigmund became the first
- 42:27Speaker 1: person in the United States in fifteen years to be
- 42:31Speaker 1: executed by firing squad, following a law change in South
- 42:34Speaker 1: Carolina that allowed inmates to choose this method. He was
- 42:38Speaker 1: convicted of a double murder, chose the firing squad over
- 42:40Speaker 1: lethal injection or electrocution, and then the previous one fifteen
- 42:47Speaker 1: years before that was I believe all did happen in
- 42:50Speaker 1: Utah as well. And if I remember correctly, that guy
- 42:53Speaker 1: chose firing squad to try to make some sort of
- 42:56Speaker 1: a statement about the brutality and cruel and un usual
- 43:00Speaker 1: punishment of the capital punishment system. It didn't work, though,
- 43:05Speaker 1: because they're still shot him. But you know what they
- 43:10Speaker 1: say if you stand for nothing, and you know.
- 43:12Speaker 3: Yeah, and I never said anything about the period eighteen
- 43:17Speaker 3: hundred or eighteenth century or whatever. I know that you
- 43:20Speaker 3: could have been sentenced. It was part of your sentencing.
- 43:24Speaker 3: You could, they would go, would you We can sentence
- 43:26Speaker 3: him to the firing squad. You can elect for it
- 43:29Speaker 3: in almost I think almost any state. They have to
- 43:32Speaker 3: reverse the law, but you can ask for it. Doesn't
- 43:35Speaker 3: mean you'll get it, but you can.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I kind of remember you saying that you said it
- 43:39Speaker 1: was like an eighteenth nineteenth century method of execution.
- 43:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it was the popular method back then, because I
- 43:45Speaker 3: mean it's the guillotine, or you get shot by some
- 43:49Speaker 3: somebody that has a.
- 43:50Speaker 4: Bullet, or you get hanged, yeah, or hard and.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Feathered and quartered and all that crazy stuff. So it
- 43:56Speaker 3: was your best bet to get shot. But yeah, I
- 43:59Speaker 3: mean you can request, which is a very odd request,
- 44:03Speaker 3: but but you can. But some it used to be
- 44:06Speaker 3: where it was part of the sentence that you could
- 44:08Speaker 3: do lead the webon electric chair, gas chamber, blah blah blah.
- 44:11Speaker 3: It was on the list, and then they removed it.
- 44:13Speaker 3: There was a lot of a lot of guilt amongst
- 44:15Speaker 3: the firing squad because nobody know who has the bullet.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Right, I'll do it. I don't care. Really, I don't care.
- 44:23Speaker 1: I'll I don't even need to wear the hood's I
- 44:26Speaker 1: guess that's for the condemned piece.
- 44:28Speaker 2: I don't think you want your squad wearing goods.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Actually no, I do. No, I really want to do it.
- 44:34Speaker 4: You kind of want them to aim.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Yeah, you know you don't want to get convicted to
- 44:38Speaker 1: death and dan Land because in dan Land, the condemned
- 44:42Speaker 1: inmate isn't wearing the hood. It's me who's doing the shooting.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I might get you now, I might get you in
- 44:49Speaker 1: a week. Eventually, I'll get you.
- 44:53Speaker 2: The tenth one we had to let go this year.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Stop letting damn shoot?
- 44:58Speaker 1: Why does he insist on wearing the to keep it interesting?
- 45:07Speaker 3: That's the only time when you see the inmate like
- 45:10Speaker 3: I'll take the I'll take the I'll take the injection.
- 45:12Speaker 2: I'll take the injection.
- 45:14Speaker 1: No, the same doesn't matter, man, because I'm still the executioner,
- 45:17Speaker 1: and I'm still gonna wear the hood. So I might
- 45:19Speaker 1: stick you in the face, i might stick you into
- 45:21Speaker 1: toe it. It might take me weeks to find a vein.
- 45:26Speaker 1: And guess what, I got nothing but time. I'm getting
- 45:28Speaker 1: paid by the hour, not the execution.
- 45:32Speaker 2: The electric share. Dan forgot to pay the bill.
- 45:35Speaker 1: I'm just slip of the switch back and forth. Hey,
- 45:38Speaker 1: can someone lick this for me real quick?
- 45:40Speaker 4: Have you ever tried to plug something in in the dark?
- 45:47Speaker 1: And I'm gonna make matters worse. Not only is it
- 45:49Speaker 1: gonna be in the dark, but it's not going to
- 45:51Speaker 1: be a traditional plug. It's gonna be USB. So you
- 45:54Speaker 1: know it's gonna get flipped upside down.
- 45:59Speaker 2: That guy's gonna die of boredom.
- 46:02Speaker 1: He's just gonna hold his breath of Dilly dies. I
- 46:05Speaker 1: can't take it anymore.
- 46:07Speaker 2: I've always want Dan as the excuse me? What did
- 46:09Speaker 2: the guy die?
- 46:09Speaker 3: Of?
- 46:09Speaker 2: Natural causes?
- 46:13Speaker 1: But the worst, the worst might be the the gas chamber,
- 46:16Speaker 1: because it's not going to be necessarily deadly gas. It's
- 46:19Speaker 1: just gonna be me in you in a room sealed
- 46:22Speaker 1: after I've hit the catfish buffet, and yes I am
- 46:27Speaker 1: wearing a hood.
- 46:33Speaker 7: Hey guys, it's Kevin. Long time, first time, I'm an
- 46:37Speaker 7: airline pilot. I just heard the segment that you guys
- 46:42Speaker 7: did on the Naples flight diverting to Rome, and as
- 46:48Speaker 7: silly as that sounds, it's really not that unusual because
- 46:52Speaker 7: of the actual conditions that you encounter at an airport.
- 46:57Speaker 7: For instance, if the runway is wet, actically increase your
- 47:01Speaker 7: landing distance requirement, and that happens domestically. I wouldn't say commonly,
- 47:08Speaker 7: but certainly does happen. I think the only reason this
- 47:11Speaker 7: made the news is because it was a wide body
- 47:14Speaker 7: flight across the pond, So not really someone in planning
- 47:18Speaker 7: screwing something up. It's just conditions sometimes turn south and
- 47:25Speaker 7: you've got to be able to adapt on the fly.
- 47:27Speaker 7: That's all, guys.
- 47:28Speaker 4: Carry on.
- 47:30Speaker 1: Thank you, Kevin, Thank you for flying us around safely,
- 47:34Speaker 1: and thank you for listening. Next up for you, as
- 47:37Speaker 1: a captain and a Treehouse listener is to broadcast the
- 47:39Speaker 1: Treehouse Show in flight.
- 47:45Speaker 5: And I did what he's saying, but that story was
- 47:47Speaker 5: specific that that air that airport was did not allow
- 47:51Speaker 5: seven eight sevens.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, last one.
- 47:55Speaker 4: Here we go. Hey guys, it's JC.
- 48:00Speaker 15: So I was looking online and apparently brown recluse spiders
- 48:03Speaker 15: are now meeting with black widows because yeah, we needed
- 48:09Speaker 15: nightmare fuel with better genetics.
- 48:12Speaker 11: That's scary, dude.
- 48:13Speaker 16: They I've heard they call them like fiddle widows or
- 48:16Speaker 16: black backs, which I don't know how long black backs
- 48:19Speaker 16: is going to stay around.
- 48:30Speaker 1: I mean it is catchy. I can I can just
- 48:36Speaker 1: see Fox News reporting on black backs. Now there's been
- 48:45Speaker 1: there's this just in there's been a rise in black
- 48:48Speaker 1: backs sing.
- 48:51Speaker 2: That's what.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Thank god? You see them in your in your house.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Always under the bed.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Do you have a black back? You're do your house?
- 49:03Speaker 2: Me too? How to get rid of them?
- 49:12Speaker 1: Thank you JC, Thank you to Kevin, and thank you
- 49:15Speaker 1: to Robert, and thank you to all who left us
- 49:18Speaker 1: a treehouse talkback or attempted it. Uh if you would
- 49:22Speaker 1: like to do that duet on our website Treehouse on
- 49:24Speaker 1: air dot com and really well said by JC, or
- 49:30Speaker 1: maybe they're called they're calling him? What do you say?
- 49:33Speaker 4: Hang on me?
- 49:34Speaker 15: I mean, I guess if you're starting to brown recluse
- 49:37Speaker 15: spiders are now meeting with black widows because Yeah, we
- 49:43Speaker 15: needed nightmare fuel with better genetics.
- 49:46Speaker 11: That's scary, dude.
- 49:47Speaker 16: They I've heard they call them like fiddle widows or
- 49:51Speaker 16: black backs, which I don't know how long black backs
- 49:53Speaker 16: is going to stay around.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Not long, brother, there's a reason why I stuck that
- 50:00Speaker 1: right at the end of the show. We'll see you
- 50:04Speaker 1: tomorrow inside the Treehouse.
