- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with her radio. Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Famous Podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I think you're gonna get a lot of podcasts from
- 0:10Speaker 1: us this week. We're having this big to do with
- 0:13Speaker 1: a lot of Bachelor Nation in Carmel, California. UM so
- 0:18Speaker 1: watch out for all those. But we couldn't leave you
- 0:20Speaker 1: without a recap podcast of episode two of exact seasons.
- 0:23Speaker 1: So here I am with my husband General. I'm feeling
- 0:27Speaker 1: in for Ben. It's a story of my life. I
- 0:29Speaker 1: feel like I'm b b minus Ben Higgins. You know
- 0:32Speaker 1: what I mean. That's just because you feel like you
- 0:34Speaker 1: would have been like the third choice on your season
- 0:36Speaker 1: to become the Bachelor. Uh. Yeah, if they were ballsy
- 0:41Speaker 1: enough to go with Nick, which I still so you
- 0:43Speaker 1: think that you were the second place. I think you may.
- 0:45Speaker 1: You may have been a toss up. You were perfect
- 0:48Speaker 1: paradise lead material. Babe. Well, that's very sweet, and plus
- 0:51Speaker 1: I would have been a terrible Bachelor, especially at that
- 0:53Speaker 1: time in my life. You would have been way too Gilbert.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I mean, it would have been good TV, but I
- 0:58Speaker 1: would have been yet decisive, guilt ridden Uh. And I
- 1:02Speaker 1: would definitely have not ended up with the girl I
- 1:04Speaker 1: picked because I was waiting for you, exactly because bastelard
- 1:09Speaker 1: Nation had it destined that we would be together. Yeah,
- 1:12Speaker 1: and create Dawson having a birthday to our baby. We're
- 1:16Speaker 1: recording this on January one year old. We cannot believe
- 1:21Speaker 1: it's been a year. That's the fastest year of my life,
- 1:23Speaker 1: hands down craziness. Um. Yeah, you know how people are like,
- 1:28Speaker 1: the best year of your life. It definitely wasn't the
- 1:30Speaker 1: best year of our lives. You're saying that most people
- 1:32Speaker 1: think the first year of having I don't know that.
- 1:35Speaker 1: They always say who says that? People say it in
- 1:38Speaker 1: Instagram captions, that's Instagram captions. But you don't think it's
- 1:41Speaker 1: ever true. I think no, I don't think that's true
- 1:46Speaker 1: one ayota. I feel like every person because for the
- 1:50Speaker 1: first few months, I mean, when you meet a parent
- 1:53Speaker 1: who has four month old, that's the first thing you say,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I know what, I'm tired when you meet them, not
- 2:00Speaker 1: if you meet someone else who has a four year old. Yeah, exactly,
- 2:03Speaker 1: are you're sleeping? How you doing? Because of course you know, like, hey,
- 2:07Speaker 1: it's a struggle. No one says it's the best year
- 2:09Speaker 1: of life. I love Dawson more than anything I would
- 2:12Speaker 1: die for. Is our best He is our favorite part
- 2:14Speaker 1: of our lives. Yeah, he's our favorite human in the world.
- 2:17Speaker 1: But that doesn't mean that every moment with him is
- 2:20Speaker 1: just rainbows and butterflies. Yet. Are you loving every minute? No?
- 2:25Speaker 1: Of course not, and so no the first year. Yeah,
- 2:30Speaker 1: but like we are. I mean I hate that I
- 2:32Speaker 1: even have to like excuse it by saying, like, but
- 2:35Speaker 1: we just let you know we're so in love and
- 2:37Speaker 1: obsessed with him. No, we just got to do more
- 2:39Speaker 1: things with him together. We've talked about that. I want
- 2:42Speaker 1: to do that every day of our lives. I know
- 2:43Speaker 1: it's just hard. I I will. I feel confident that
- 2:46Speaker 1: this year will be a much better with Audrey slowing
- 2:48Speaker 1: down a little bit in terms of hopefully not business wise,
- 2:50Speaker 1: but with me having to be there so much. Hopefully
- 2:53Speaker 1: I can take a step back and you and I
- 2:54Speaker 1: can do more things together. And then also I can
- 2:57Speaker 1: have some sanity in my own life. You can have
- 2:59Speaker 1: sanity in your own life as well, So we have
- 3:02Speaker 1: like this, we haven't no idea what to do with
- 3:05Speaker 1: the kid at this age, So please send us things
- 3:08Speaker 1: to do, because obviously in the summertime in r Island,
- 3:11Speaker 1: plenty of things to do in the winter. What are
- 3:13Speaker 1: you suppsed to do with a kid? I don't think
- 3:15Speaker 1: there's anything you can with a one year old. You
- 3:18Speaker 1: can only do something for like an hour and a
- 3:20Speaker 1: half and then your days over. Yeah, but it's okay
- 3:22Speaker 1: because it's the highlight of my day and I think
- 3:23Speaker 1: it's the highlight of his day too. That's my point.
- 3:26Speaker 1: We could do anything. What can we do that? Anything? Like,
- 3:29Speaker 1: what tell me something we could I don't. I mean
- 3:33Speaker 1: I could think of something if I looked at an itinerary.
- 3:35Speaker 1: But we're in l A. We could go to the
- 3:38Speaker 1: San Diego Zoo. We're in l A. There's plenty things
- 3:41Speaker 1: to do in l A. Yes, it's all weather, depending
- 3:43Speaker 1: on what exactly. That's what I'm saying. What can we
- 3:46Speaker 1: do in a cold weather territory? In Boston Museum, I
- 3:50Speaker 1: would love to go to the And what I'm saying
- 3:52Speaker 1: is we could do that. But again, as a parent,
- 3:55Speaker 1: especially if you're out there listening with kids, you know
- 3:58Speaker 1: it's a ticking time bomb. So you like, okay, we'll
- 4:00Speaker 1: have a good hour and hour and a half, you know,
- 4:04Speaker 1: before they melt down. And see if we can get
- 4:05Speaker 1: through the meltdown and you know, feed them and change
- 4:08Speaker 1: them and you know, calm them down or get them
- 4:10Speaker 1: a nap or you know, it's just all it's you
- 4:13Speaker 1: get a good hour. Your dire day is revolving around
- 4:16Speaker 1: their meltdowns, Like, Okay, how much time do we have
- 4:19Speaker 1: before starts hitting the fan? Yeah, So for everyone out there,
- 4:24Speaker 1: we've been pretty honest, like I don't love living in
- 4:27Speaker 1: Rhode Island. So yeah, it's a big problem, guys. Problem
- 4:32Speaker 1: at a problem. It's becoming more of a problem as
- 4:35Speaker 1: time goes on. I think it's getting worse. And it's
- 4:38Speaker 1: like encroaching on the two year point, which people say
- 4:41Speaker 1: once you hit two years you actually know whether you
- 4:45Speaker 1: can consider that place. I think, what the once the
- 4:47Speaker 1: weather gets better, it will help. I just don't think
- 4:50Speaker 1: that's the solve. That's not going to solve it. So
- 4:55Speaker 1: we got to figure out a way to solve this.
- 4:57Speaker 1: But this is obviously a conversation for another time. We
- 4:59Speaker 1: did want to do a little host chat, but this
- 5:01Speaker 1: is what I want to you guys. You guys, pressure
- 5:04Speaker 1: Jared out there, because there's a couple of things that
- 5:06Speaker 1: I want to do in the next I'm gonna say,
- 5:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna give us two months to do these things, okay,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and I'm going to help. Is this annoying to have
- 5:16Speaker 1: the audience accountable of having people pressure me into things?
- 5:20Speaker 1: This is great? Can't wait? Okay. So what I want
- 5:23Speaker 1: to do is I want to go to the Boston
- 5:26Speaker 1: Aquarium because that is these links because I went there
- 5:31Speaker 1: as a kid all the time, So like, I want
- 5:35Speaker 1: the pictures of me and Dawson side by side at
- 5:37Speaker 1: that age. And then I also want to go to
- 5:40Speaker 1: the Cheers bar and put him up on your shoulders
- 5:42Speaker 1: the way my dad and I should just do a
- 5:44Speaker 1: Boston trip. It's a Boston trip, That's what I'm saying.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Boston trip, and then an ice skating date. And then
- 5:49Speaker 1: I want to go to Titanic and theaters with you?
- 5:52Speaker 1: Why with me? I thought you wanted to go see
- 5:54Speaker 1: with Lauren. I don't think you're gonna be able to
- 5:55Speaker 1: see with Lauren. That would mean like Lauren would have
- 5:59Speaker 1: to go next week to Rhode Island. All right, we'll
- 6:01Speaker 1: talk about that Titanic thing. If Superman the nineteen version
- 6:07Speaker 1: came out, I would go see that with you in theaters.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I don't even say that it's different. It's totally comparable
- 6:14Speaker 1: because I enjoy the nineteen seventy eight Superman and Titanic
- 6:19Speaker 1: is a great film, the film that your son is
- 6:22Speaker 1: named after. Yeah, okay, this is true, all right, Um,
- 6:26Speaker 1: we are just like everybody know that. Like this little
- 6:29Speaker 1: banter back and forth. This is just Jared's natural enjoyment too.
- 6:33Speaker 1: In life. He loves to be He just loves to
- 6:37Speaker 1: kind of argue. You do, It's not not Aaron Sorkin
- 6:43Speaker 1: is my favorite that we're just talking about, because a
- 6:45Speaker 1: lot of his dialogue is back and forth and misunderstanding
- 6:48Speaker 1: and disagreement and then confusion. I enjoy that type of talk.
- 6:53Speaker 1: This is his way to communicate and connect is by
- 6:56Speaker 1: just like going back and forth like a ping pong.
- 6:59Speaker 1: I love that of my favorite things. I know. Say,
- 7:02Speaker 1: a lot of people out there would probably interpret that
- 7:04Speaker 1: as like, oh, they're always annoyed, they're always going back
- 7:07Speaker 1: and forth. But like that's like kind of Jared's love language. Yeah,
- 7:11Speaker 1: someone who can keep up with me? Can I keep
- 7:14Speaker 1: up with you? Though? Sometimes I feel like I'm a
- 7:17Speaker 1: far worse arguer than you. Oh I am like you
- 7:20Speaker 1: are a Mr. Lawyer you are a lawyer. You can
- 7:24Speaker 1: make you can just talk your way into making a
- 7:27Speaker 1: point so well, and you know that it's because you
- 7:32Speaker 1: are You're so good at being contrarian that like you
- 7:36Speaker 1: can truly argue a point that is not your own opinions.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So well, yeah, of course, yeah, because I don't have
- 7:43Speaker 1: opinions myself. You need to do I do, but I can.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I see everybody's sides of things. And that's why you
- 7:50Speaker 1: and Nick have a fun and also heated time together
- 7:53Speaker 1: all the time, because you two will literally like you
- 7:55Speaker 1: can you can just go back and forth fighting about
- 7:58Speaker 1: something that you don't even believe in. You guys can
- 8:01Speaker 1: like switch stances and just continue at it. It's fantastic.
- 8:04Speaker 1: But what I was going to say is what I
- 8:07Speaker 1: do in my argument, not arguments, but in my just
- 8:10Speaker 1: everyday life is I don't try to prove my point,
- 8:13Speaker 1: I try to disprove yours. That is so true. You
- 8:17Speaker 1: definitely do. Do you do that intentionally? Like when you
- 8:19Speaker 1: are arguing with me, You're like, no, I'm just going
- 8:21Speaker 1: to flip this on her. I mean, I've definitely see
- 8:23Speaker 1: my side of the street more so than yours. When
- 8:27Speaker 1: I'm if I'm arguing a point. Most of the time
- 8:29Speaker 1: I cave honestly, I mean most of the time it's
- 8:32Speaker 1: like whether or not we remembered each other saying something.
- 8:35Speaker 1: But again, yeah, I mean I very similar to being
- 8:40Speaker 1: in a courtroom. I don't try to prove my point
- 8:44Speaker 1: as much as just poke holes in yours. So there's
- 8:47Speaker 1: you know, yeah, well that's that's like why you're so
- 8:50Speaker 1: good and could be in the courtroom maybe anyway, do
- 8:53Speaker 1: you have so many talents? Really could have pursued sound
- 8:58Speaker 1: very tired right now, you are all he's tired, very mellow,
- 9:01Speaker 1: very mellow. I know. I just I'm so over him
- 9:04Speaker 1: being mellow guys, because he used to be like that's
- 9:08Speaker 1: what you know, that that's why we got together because
- 9:11Speaker 1: you had like so much passion. All we would talk
- 9:13Speaker 1: about when first together would be Tom Brady, Rob Thomas
- 9:16Speaker 1: sports and when we first got together, no, maybe the
- 9:20Speaker 1: beginning of our friendship. But that's what I mean, that's
- 9:24Speaker 1: what drew you so much to me, was that was like,
- 9:26Speaker 1: what do you like? I can tell you I can
- 9:27Speaker 1: talk about what I like all day and night. But
- 9:31Speaker 1: now we just you know, I mean, how many times
- 9:32Speaker 1: you want to here to hear me. But I really
- 9:35Speaker 1: do think that, like you got a fine more excitement
- 9:39Speaker 1: or something, because when you're mellow, you're not actually just mellow.
- 9:41Speaker 1: It's always something is on your mind. Yeah, you live
- 9:45Speaker 1: in Audrey's Land in your head. Well, that's true. Doesn't
- 9:49Speaker 1: leave audrey Is when he's not there, He's still there
- 9:52Speaker 1: in his head, of course. I mean, any business owner
- 9:55Speaker 1: can tell you that it's tough. Uh you know. I
- 9:58Speaker 1: mean Audrey's does a very good bit is this, but
- 10:00Speaker 1: it's very expensive run, so it's not really making money.
- 10:03Speaker 1: So it's just hard to I feel like, again, we
- 10:07Speaker 1: got to get an episode, but fifteen more seconds on this. Uh. Certainly,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I don't feel like a failure by any stretch, but
- 10:14Speaker 1: I'm getting nervous. I'm getting scared nervous for us. He's
- 10:18Speaker 1: such not a failure, like he's done such a good job,
- 10:21Speaker 1: and the place is always busy. That's why it's hard
- 10:22Speaker 1: to explain to people. It's not hard to explain. Any
- 10:25Speaker 1: business can understand that there's just certain budgets and percentage
- 10:28Speaker 1: you know, of spending that you need to do for
- 10:31Speaker 1: labor and food and liquor, and we try to we
- 10:33Speaker 1: keep those numbers and we try to keep them down
- 10:35Speaker 1: as much as possible, but our overhead is very expensive.
- 10:37Speaker 1: If you've been to our establishment, first of all, thank
- 10:39Speaker 1: you for coming. But secondly, you can tell that it's
- 10:41Speaker 1: a pretty beautiful space and so costs a lot to
- 10:44Speaker 1: run and get gas and electricity, and prices are up
- 10:46Speaker 1: and food prices are up, and you know, I try
- 10:48Speaker 1: to pay my employees as much as I possibly can
- 10:50Speaker 1: um because I've been on the other side and I
- 10:54Speaker 1: want people to have a decent living wage and that
- 10:57Speaker 1: matters to me a lot. So it's hard. It's hard
- 11:00Speaker 1: to balance all those and also run a business that
- 11:03Speaker 1: makes profit that you can keep your doors open. So
- 11:06Speaker 1: it's it's a lot. But I think this year will
- 11:11Speaker 1: be fine. We'll have we'll have more time, You'll be
- 11:14Speaker 1: less mellow. I can't promise that, Jared, you're not a
- 11:17Speaker 1: naturally mellow person. Not mellow man, mellow man. He's just
- 11:24Speaker 1: like the phases of Jared. He went from my love
- 11:26Speaker 1: man to what was paradise supposed to be? They didn't man,
- 11:31Speaker 1: didn't air it, okay, and now he's mellow man. I
- 11:34Speaker 1: was running around the streets and Providence from my intro
- 11:37Speaker 1: package with a green shirt with a red heart that
- 11:41Speaker 1: had the an a in it for a more manny Well,
- 11:48Speaker 1: they did not go that direction with you because they
- 11:50Speaker 1: hadn't make you look like the heartbroken Paradise. There was
- 11:54Speaker 1: a couple of hearts that were broken this evening. So
- 11:58Speaker 1: let's get to that right after this break and we're
- 12:11Speaker 1: back to recap episode two of Zach season So Jared,
- 12:17Speaker 1: where do we begin? Like? What even was the first scene?
- 12:20Speaker 1: First scene? Let me ask you a broad question first,
- 12:23Speaker 1: what do you and all the Bachelor seasons, you know,
- 12:29Speaker 1: everyone is usually first night's limo night and then episode
- 12:32Speaker 1: two blah blah blah blah. There's a formula. What do
- 12:36Speaker 1: you think the worst episode is in general? Well, I
- 12:39Speaker 1: think the most predictable and therefore sometimes the most boring
- 12:43Speaker 1: can be Night one. But then I also think that
- 12:46Speaker 1: so do you think, for example, you find more interest
- 12:49Speaker 1: in episode two than you do episode one just because
- 12:52Speaker 1: you're meeting Yes, I think so, yes, Typically I think
- 12:55Speaker 1: I like two more. And then for some reason, if
- 12:57Speaker 1: we're looking at patterns, I think three day down to
- 13:00Speaker 1: boring again, and then for we maybe start like really
- 13:05Speaker 1: no names and we really exceed connections and yeah, interesting,
- 13:10Speaker 1: what do you think was boring? You thought it was
- 13:13Speaker 1: super boring? No, I don't think it was super boring.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I just I'm curious about, you know, the formula of
- 13:19Speaker 1: the Bachelor and the Bachelor Rette. There is definitely obviously
- 13:21Speaker 1: a formula, and so I always think about that. I
- 13:24Speaker 1: wonder what people look forward to the most and then
- 13:29Speaker 1: least look forward to. Does it look does it work
- 13:31Speaker 1: well that there is a formula, or are we just
- 13:34Speaker 1: hired of the formula it needs to be. I can't
- 13:36Speaker 1: answer that question because I'm not the person that watches
- 13:39Speaker 1: this season, you know, season after season after season. So
- 13:43Speaker 1: there are people out there who have seen every season
- 13:45Speaker 1: who are loyal Bachelor fans. And first of all, if
- 13:48Speaker 1: you're listening to that podcast and you are that fan,
- 13:50Speaker 1: thank you, because even though you may have said mean
- 13:53Speaker 1: things about us in the past, we don't care because
- 13:55Speaker 1: you're very supportive and loving and without you there'd be
- 13:57Speaker 1: no Audrey's and no show and maybe no Dawson. Uh
- 14:01Speaker 1: and that was very sincere, So thank you. Um. But
- 14:04Speaker 1: moving forward from that, there are people who watched this
- 14:06Speaker 1: show religiously like I've watched. It's tough also because we're
- 14:10Speaker 1: part of it now, so I just kind of look
- 14:12Speaker 1: at it in a different lens. But yeah, I don't know,
- 14:15Speaker 1: it's it's yeah, of course it's hard because it's like, oh,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I saw you know whoever say the exact same. It's
- 14:22Speaker 1: just you know, it's different characters but pretty much the
- 14:24Speaker 1: same premise. Okay, so I don't remember the first scene,
- 14:28Speaker 1: but I do the first scene was them going into
- 14:31Speaker 1: the yeah, moving in, and on TV it does seem silly,
- 14:41Speaker 1: but but in real life it was real exciting. Well,
- 14:44Speaker 1: of course it's excited you're moving into the Bachelor Mansion.
- 14:46Speaker 1: It because it's such a yeah, it's iconic. It's the
- 14:51Speaker 1: Bachelor Mansion. You know, you're moving in, you made it,
- 14:53Speaker 1: You're there for at least a couple of nights, you
- 14:55Speaker 1: made it past night one. That's very exciting. So they're
- 14:58Speaker 1: moving in, all good things. Jesse Palmer comes in and
- 15:02Speaker 1: does the awkwardness that the host always does, which they
- 15:04Speaker 1: go around the room. How is your connection, how's your connection?
- 15:07Speaker 1: Who do you know? Because in the it's just it's
- 15:11Speaker 1: such a competition show. It's so weird because everybody's like,
- 15:14Speaker 1: I think my connection is good. I think my connection
- 15:16Speaker 1: is good. And then the course they focus on the girls,
- 15:18Speaker 1: like oh, she said her connection is good, I don't
- 15:20Speaker 1: think my connection is that's good, or like oh, I
- 15:22Speaker 1: didn't even get to spend time with him. I didn't
- 15:23Speaker 1: kss him that person kiss him. But anyway, so that
- 15:26Speaker 1: was the first scene. Well that's basically that we have
- 15:28Speaker 1: two people going through that in this episode, Gabby and Brianna.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Gabby we see a little bit more towards the end
- 15:34Speaker 1: of the episode, but she has that you know, she's
- 15:38Speaker 1: just so concerned that they're not getting there yet. But
- 15:41Speaker 1: it's a week two, week two. It's the second day, Yeah,
- 15:45Speaker 1: it's the second day. It's literally the first day after
- 15:47Speaker 1: she met him, because when you move into the Bachelor
- 15:50Speaker 1: mansion the day after night one, so literally the day
- 15:53Speaker 1: after she met him. They're already to a slow start.
- 15:57Speaker 1: And then Brianna, I think she's feeling um behind in
- 16:02Speaker 1: a sense because America loved her enough to give her
- 16:05Speaker 1: the first impression Rose, but she hasn't really she doesn't
- 16:08Speaker 1: feel like she's gotten anything from Zach and in her
- 16:10Speaker 1: first sit down conversation with him during the group date,
- 16:14Speaker 1: she's like, I'm having a tough time right now, because
- 16:19Speaker 1: what did she say? I think I understand where she's
- 16:21Speaker 1: coming from, because she got America's Rose. Yeah, but it
- 16:24Speaker 1: wasn't that the girls were hating on her, No, but
- 16:26Speaker 1: she was probably secretly hoping that Zack would show her
- 16:29Speaker 1: a little extra special attention on that one and he didn't.
- 16:32Speaker 1: So she probably got let down and insecure after that. Granted,
- 16:36Speaker 1: we'll talk about her actions later on in the episode,
- 16:38Speaker 1: which were ridiculous. Ridiculously at the Rose Ceremony cocktail, she
- 16:43Speaker 1: was taken that out of Forget the blonde name. We'll
- 16:46Speaker 1: get that later later on. Yeah, there's a lot of
- 16:48Speaker 1: blonds this season. But but yeah, I mean I can
- 16:51Speaker 1: understand why Brian was feeling insecure at that moment, because
- 16:53Speaker 1: she probably felt pretty good going into night one. Hey
- 16:56Speaker 1: I got America's got a special rose dress, and then
- 16:59Speaker 1: Zact in her any extra attention, you know, didn't give her.
- 17:03Speaker 1: She's probably hoping like, oh, now I can get Zack's
- 17:05Speaker 1: first impression rose, and then she didn't get it, and
- 17:07Speaker 1: then she probably felt stupid because maybe she was expecting it.
- 17:11Speaker 1: She could not have expected a rose, was really hoping. Okay,
- 17:16Speaker 1: I don't think so, but I think she was really
- 17:18Speaker 1: hoping to have a hand up, and I feel like
- 17:20Speaker 1: she didn't actually feel a hand up. Yeah, that's what
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm getting at. Okay, So the first moment that I
- 17:27Speaker 1: remember of this episode, it was jarring to me. We
- 17:32Speaker 1: have a Loto come and she has the song Big
- 17:36Speaker 1: d Energy, and that song I reserve for TikTok thirst traps.
- 17:42Speaker 1: You know that's what you expect to see. Let's be
- 17:44Speaker 1: more specific brow Joe Burrow first trap, but you don't
- 17:49Speaker 1: mind them. I don't mind Joe Burrow. It's funny. It
- 17:51Speaker 1: makes you feel young, like you said, it makes me
- 17:53Speaker 1: feel slow young, great. I honestly don't care. Is there
- 17:57Speaker 1: somebody that you would care? You think he's cool? And like,
- 18:00Speaker 1: what if I was like looking at somebody who was
- 18:02Speaker 1: like a somebody else that you didn't think was awesome.
- 18:05Speaker 1: If you were looking at someone very specific or very
- 18:09Speaker 1: um not popular, like Joe Burrow, it's like, oh, everybody
- 18:16Speaker 1: to Brady. But if you're like a niche, like everybody
- 18:23Speaker 1: loves Garoppolo. But if you're like, I don't know, I
- 18:25Speaker 1: can't even think of someone like a third string wide
- 18:28Speaker 1: receiver and making thirst traps thirst ttok traps about him, like, Okay,
- 18:33Speaker 1: that needs to settle down, because that's more obtainable. The
- 18:36Speaker 1: offense Joe Burrow is not obtainable. That's like I could
- 18:38Speaker 1: obtain anything I want. Okay, look what I did for you. Bad.
- 18:44Speaker 1: That's bad energy, bitch energy right there. My point being
- 18:48Speaker 1: if if I was making thirst trap TikTok about Margot Robbie,
- 18:51Speaker 1: I doubt you'd really care. Yeah, but I would also
- 18:55Speaker 1: think that you could get Are you know that My
- 18:56Speaker 1: biggest fear your mind, my big spear when we weren't together,
- 19:01Speaker 1: was that you were actually going to date Emma Stone
- 19:03Speaker 1: because I actually could see you guys very much together.
- 19:07Speaker 1: He's like, yeah, me too, not at all. That's very
- 19:10Speaker 1: sweet of you. That would be impossible. It would not
- 19:13Speaker 1: be impossible. You're gonna say, Tylor Swift, And I was like,
- 19:15Speaker 1: talk about unreachable. That might actually be the definition of it. Unattainable.
- 19:21Speaker 1: But you know what, you had a moment of Taylor
- 19:22Speaker 1: and I think that you're a cute. I think she
- 19:24Speaker 1: thought you were cute. That even if she did, which
- 19:27Speaker 1: I doubt, I that get that gives me still zero chance.
- 19:31Speaker 1: I don't know. We disagree on that. She probably finds
- 19:33Speaker 1: chihuah was cute. You know what I mean? Hurt? You
- 19:36Speaker 1: think you're way hotter than Joe Alwyn. I don't know
- 19:39Speaker 1: who that is. That's her boyfriend of five years and
- 19:43Speaker 1: he's like not an a lister. What is he even from?
- 19:46Speaker 1: You even know what he's from? Yes, we saw a
- 19:48Speaker 1: movie with We went to go see that movie. I
- 19:50Speaker 1: don't know where he's from, but he was in a
- 19:51Speaker 1: movie that we went to go see that was not
- 19:53Speaker 1: our cup of tea, but got nominated for a bunch
- 19:55Speaker 1: of awards with your parents the Favorite, the Favorite also
- 19:58Speaker 1: Emma Stone right, Yes, okay, anyway, we're off track right now.
- 20:03Speaker 1: But what happened was I reserved this song for Joe
- 20:07Speaker 1: Burrow and then we saw Zach walk out on the
- 20:12Speaker 1: runway to Big D Energy. It was awkward as yes,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I've been saying Big D Energy and then I go
- 20:20Speaker 1: awkward as there, Um, I like Zack. It seems like
- 20:27Speaker 1: a nice guy, so so sweet, great guy when you
- 20:30Speaker 1: were out and about or like going on a dating
- 20:32Speaker 1: app and like meaning a guy, could you imagine you'd
- 20:35Speaker 1: go in on date with this guy? You match with
- 20:37Speaker 1: him on something? He's very sweet. Um, I think that
- 20:44Speaker 1: he handled himself very well in this episode in um
- 20:48Speaker 1: different situations which we'll talk about later. I just think
- 20:53Speaker 1: the problem with Zach is zero. It was like embodied
- 20:58Speaker 1: in that moment, we're he had the leather jacket on
- 21:01Speaker 1: and he busts out the door and it's like, no, dude,
- 21:05Speaker 1: you're just and it's not his fault because that was
- 21:08Speaker 1: what the scene called for, and they're like, oh, this
- 21:09Speaker 1: would be a cool moment, it would be great, and
- 21:11Speaker 1: it's it's really not anybody's fault, honestly, because I bet
- 21:14Speaker 1: production obviously production is trying to make him look super
- 21:17Speaker 1: cool swag and it's fun, and but like I just
- 21:20Speaker 1: it was like, oh, that's not that's not him. You know,
- 21:23Speaker 1: that's just not Zach, like you. I don't know, I
- 21:26Speaker 1: don't know what makes zactly cool, like what makes him unique,
- 21:31Speaker 1: But they just need to figure that out and do
- 21:33Speaker 1: that go that direction and keep making being like he
- 21:37Speaker 1: was in a band that makes him cool and unique.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure you can find something else, you know
- 21:41Speaker 1: what he told me on a geek, A geek would
- 21:44Speaker 1: be attractive if I don't know what like, but if
- 21:47Speaker 1: he is a geek, you just haven't like me, and
- 21:49Speaker 1: he's a superhero fan, like do whatever. He doesn't like
- 21:53Speaker 1: put him in that situation, you know, not this because
- 21:58Speaker 1: this big D and it just didn't It didn't fit.
- 22:01Speaker 1: It was awkward to watch. Its qringe worthy were like
- 22:03Speaker 1: the girls are marching towards him, like, oh god, I
- 22:06Speaker 1: guess it maybe was meant to be cringeworthy. No, I
- 22:09Speaker 1: don't know. Now, is there any bachelor that you would
- 22:12Speaker 1: say has big D energy? Nick? Yeah, you think it's Nick? Yeah?
- 22:18Speaker 1: I thought so too, But I just want to hear
- 22:19Speaker 1: you say it. I would say Ben. I would honestly
- 22:22Speaker 1: say Ben too. Yeah. Ben on his season of course. Yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 1: And um, I mean there's I'm sure there's. I can't
- 22:28Speaker 1: who's also recently, I don't know. Matt James didn't really
- 22:37Speaker 1: pull off that that moment when I loved some man.
- 22:40Speaker 1: If you guys remember Matt James prom had the biggest crush.
- 22:44Speaker 1: When I saw that, I was like this, yeah, because
- 22:49Speaker 1: Chris Harrison's out front and he's like, you've never been loved.
- 22:53Speaker 1: I'm here to change that. And it was like what
- 22:54Speaker 1: a man? What it was like? It was it was
- 22:57Speaker 1: like a trailer for a movie. And I was like
- 23:00Speaker 1: this is exactly because of course Matt was the first
- 23:02Speaker 1: black Bachelor and so long, and they had this super
- 23:04Speaker 1: cool promo with what a Man, and like Harrison was
- 23:07Speaker 1: out front and he said that awesome line. It was
- 23:10Speaker 1: like you've never been in love, I'm here to change that.
- 23:12Speaker 1: It was just like, that's exactly what the bachelor needs. Obviously,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I mean everything went off the rails after that. But um,
- 23:20Speaker 1: and then you know, since then obviously we have a
- 23:22Speaker 1: Clayton and Zach and I don't know my so anyway, Okay, yes,
- 23:27Speaker 1: great answer, great answer. Okay, So then so we're at
- 23:31Speaker 1: the fashion show. Victoria and Courtney were there there because
- 23:36Speaker 1: both of them honestly have that girl swag, which I'll
- 23:39Speaker 1: say is the bad bit energy. Right, they have a
- 23:43Speaker 1: girls swag. They're like borderline villainous on their seasons, but
- 23:47Speaker 1: they have like the similarity in which like they're super
- 23:50Speaker 1: hot and they have like twoed but they're also like girls.
- 23:57Speaker 1: They could be girls girls. It's really they're complicated but
- 24:00Speaker 1: overall well liked. Okay, I can't really speak too much
- 24:06Speaker 1: on the bad bitch energy. Something I would say that
- 24:08Speaker 1: they're both really good choices to demonstrate bad bitch energy. Now,
- 24:13Speaker 1: taj One is a little bit random there because I
- 24:16Speaker 1: always just think of Tajuan being hilarious and sweaty and paradise.
- 24:20Speaker 1: But she was definitely there because she had some sort
- 24:22Speaker 1: of interest in Zack. And yeah, so at the after party,
- 24:28Speaker 1: oh at first off, when they're when they're doing their
- 24:30Speaker 1: struts down the runway and they're trying to like prove
- 24:33Speaker 1: their bad bitch energy. I think everybody was fine, but
- 24:37Speaker 1: I would have been the most cringe ever on that
- 24:39Speaker 1: and I'm so glad I didn't have that date. Well,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I love you very much, but I'm not sexy like
- 24:44Speaker 1: you and I have are. You're very sexy, she says this,
- 24:47Speaker 1: And that's really nice. You know, you don't have bad
- 24:50Speaker 1: bitch energy. But that's not or I would maybe you do.
- 24:53Speaker 1: I had had bad bitch energy in the bad Lands
- 24:55Speaker 1: and that was it. Well, my point being, it's like
- 24:57Speaker 1: I don't have bad bitch energy, Like I'm not that
- 25:00Speaker 1: you have big dick energy. This is the clevent. I
- 25:02Speaker 1: don't know. I think i'm somewhat but I'm not like
- 25:06Speaker 1: you have swag. But that's like a whole other level
- 25:08Speaker 1: of carrying yourself. But it's not like, listen, I'm very
- 25:12Speaker 1: confident myself. But like if me and um, who's a guy,
- 25:16Speaker 1: I guess I don't know. I can't think of anybody
- 25:20Speaker 1: from Bachelor franchise. I guess Peter Cross because he's always
- 25:24Speaker 1: a very hottest he's one of the hottest him and
- 25:27Speaker 1: I walked into a room. Yeah, it's still comparison. Everybody's
- 25:30Speaker 1: looking at Peter and not me, Like, yeah, he's good looking,
- 25:32Speaker 1: but Jesus Christ, you know, but I'm fine with that.
- 25:36Speaker 1: That's okay. But my point being is that listen, of course,
- 25:40Speaker 1: when you walk into everybody's looking at you, but like
- 25:42Speaker 1: if you're talking about like who gives off more in
- 25:45Speaker 1: my opinion, bad bitch energy, lack of better world. That
- 25:50Speaker 1: makes sense. Yeah, but that's what everybody loves you for
- 25:52Speaker 1: because you are he's incredibly beauty, beautiful and sexy and confident,
- 25:58Speaker 1: but also who will trip on hers and like laughing
- 26:01Speaker 1: cry at herself. It's miss congeant geniality exactly, thank you. Okay, So,
- 26:07Speaker 1: but I don't really remember any girl like standing out
- 26:10Speaker 1: there right, Like there's no girl that like dominated that competition.
- 26:16Speaker 1: What I remember is just a cat actually crawling like
- 26:20Speaker 1: a cat and then I remember somebody at the bar
- 26:24Speaker 1: doing the tequila shots and then kissing. Yeah, I remember,
- 26:28Speaker 1: and then then okay, so then fast forward to the
- 26:30Speaker 1: night of he has a really nice conversation with what
- 26:34Speaker 1: is her name? She got the rose? Yeah, Katherine, what
- 26:39Speaker 1: did you say? No one remembers anybody's names? How can
- 26:43Speaker 1: we actually has the cast list in front of her,
- 26:46Speaker 1: and it's just impossible. I'm trying to. I mean, we four,
- 26:49Speaker 1: you know, like the names of week four, and I
- 26:52Speaker 1: know Christina's name. Oh I thought was Christine though. Anyway,
- 26:56Speaker 1: so Katherine gets the rose. She has a nice conversation
- 26:58Speaker 1: with him about just like what she's looking for. She's like,
- 27:01Speaker 1: I don't want a best friend. I want I don't
- 27:03Speaker 1: just want a life partner, like I want a love. Right,
- 27:07Speaker 1: these are the conversations I see again. I'm just not
- 27:11Speaker 1: she wants a life partner, but she also wants more
- 27:13Speaker 1: than just that. She wants the love. I know. But
- 27:15Speaker 1: this is the moment that reminds me of why I
- 27:17Speaker 1: like The Bachelor's not. I love the show more than anything,
- 27:21Speaker 1: but like watching it with my negativity in my mind,
- 27:25Speaker 1: I'm like, oh God, these people who are talking back
- 27:28Speaker 1: and forth and I probably had the same conversations with
- 27:30Speaker 1: you were the ultimate like that. It's hilarious is that
- 27:32Speaker 1: you're so jaded and cynical when you talk about it.
- 27:35Speaker 1: They know each other a little over day and they're like,
- 27:38Speaker 1: we have pretty much. They were like, we have so
- 27:40Speaker 1: much in common. We both want, you know, life partners,
- 27:43Speaker 1: and there's like cool, I know it's not deep, guys,
- 27:48Speaker 1: like they sound like the way that they say things
- 27:50Speaker 1: sounds so deep. And I know a lot of the
- 27:52Speaker 1: conversations cut out rightfully, so because guys, there's it's an
- 27:56Speaker 1: hour and twenty minutes each week, and these people talk
- 27:58Speaker 1: for a long time. So fortunately there's gonna be a
- 28:01Speaker 1: lot of conversation that's just left the side. So I'm
- 28:03Speaker 1: sure that there was more in depth conversation, more talking
- 28:07Speaker 1: about each other, learning about each other, figuring things out, flirting,
- 28:11Speaker 1: all that good stuff. But Babe, it's hilarious how you
- 28:16Speaker 1: are so cynical when you were like the most romantic,
- 28:19Speaker 1: like vulnerable man there. You were like the most romantic.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Do you remember this? Yeah, you were the mushiest man ever. Yes,
- 28:30Speaker 1: of course, I'm still when it gets like once we
- 28:34Speaker 1: start narrowing down and there's you know, not that there's
- 28:37Speaker 1: not really feelings now, but like real, like holy feelings. Yeah,
- 28:41Speaker 1: that's more fun and more mushy. I think where I
- 28:43Speaker 1: think I'm just so jaded from so I'm saying, you
- 28:48Speaker 1: stay together. That's what I need. I need more couples
- 28:50Speaker 1: to stay together. But babe, but when you were there,
- 28:53Speaker 1: you like leaned in fully, see, like, how do you
- 28:56Speaker 1: make fun of these people? Because that's our job right now?
- 29:02Speaker 1: We're not making fun you are. Yeah, we're poking fun. Yeah, oh,
- 29:06Speaker 1: I'm sure that in back in two thousand and fifteen
- 29:08Speaker 1: when we were on the show, there was nobody making
- 29:11Speaker 1: fun of us, nobody poking fun about how ridiculous, of course.
- 29:19Speaker 1: But I also think that sometimes people look back and
- 29:22Speaker 1: and you know, say, oh wow, this person for two
- 29:25Speaker 1: days and we're already saying like we had some You know,
- 29:28Speaker 1: I'm glad that you're looking for the same thing I am.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Of course, you guys were all looking for the same thing.
- 29:33Speaker 1: You know. I would love the person to go on
- 29:36Speaker 1: the show and be like, I'm not looking for a husband.
- 29:39Speaker 1: They could be they'll lie, you know what I mean,
- 29:42Speaker 1: But like, no one's going to go on the show.
- 29:44Speaker 1: I don't think maybe there has been, and say, I'm
- 29:46Speaker 1: not I don't want to husband or a wife. You know,
- 29:49Speaker 1: I'm just kind of dating around. But you seem awesome
- 29:51Speaker 1: and I'd love to get to know any more. But like,
- 29:53Speaker 1: I don't know how serious of a relationship I want
- 29:55Speaker 1: to be in right now that let's move on to
- 30:09Speaker 1: ta Juan asking to stay. Yeah, Tajuan, she's so. She
- 30:15Speaker 1: wasn't her funniness. She wasn't her funniest. She was on Paradise. Baby.
- 30:19Speaker 1: You know that she's been on Paradise wise, no, I know,
- 30:22Speaker 1: but if she came back I wish they brought her
- 30:24Speaker 1: back on Paradise. That seems much more of a conducive
- 30:27Speaker 1: environment to her. Remember, she's too hot, she won't you
- 30:30Speaker 1: can give her, like give her the boom boom room
- 30:32Speaker 1: that we were in, give her a c you know,
- 30:33Speaker 1: I think that's pretty funny. They should like come up
- 30:35Speaker 1: with some contraction that she contraction that she wears in
- 30:38Speaker 1: her head with sands and make it really because here
- 30:41Speaker 1: I just felt it was out of place because it
- 30:43Speaker 1: felt forced because she came on and then she said, oh,
- 30:47Speaker 1: Zach is really cute and funny, and if he asked
- 30:50Speaker 1: me to stay, I wouldn't say no, and then fast
- 30:53Speaker 1: forward to the night portion she was like, I'm just
- 30:56Speaker 1: gonna ask him to stay. So okay, So you just
- 30:59Speaker 1: want to stay a because you want to pursue things
- 31:01Speaker 1: with Zach who you've known for two minutes, and of
- 31:04Speaker 1: course he's good looking. He's the Bachelor, the Bachelor, the Bachelor.
- 31:09Speaker 1: So it just felt like she was trying to get
- 31:12Speaker 1: on the season and uh, which is totally fine, Hey
- 31:14Speaker 1: go for it. But I just feel bad because I
- 31:19Speaker 1: just I don't want to see her shoot her shot
- 31:21Speaker 1: and get shot down and then her never be on
- 31:23Speaker 1: the Bachelor franchise again. So I would have rather seen
- 31:26Speaker 1: her make an appearance on Paradise and kind of data
- 31:28Speaker 1: around for a little while. But how funny is um
- 31:34Speaker 1: just the reaction that we always get during moments like
- 31:36Speaker 1: this from the girls who are sitting back ending like
- 31:40Speaker 1: we sacrificed so much to be here, and she is
- 31:44Speaker 1: taking thirty minutes of our time by trying to like
- 31:49Speaker 1: woo him. I know. Especially it's probably the person who's
- 31:52Speaker 1: saying that who has the little job title it says
- 31:54Speaker 1: content creator on there, like you sacrificed so much don't
- 31:58Speaker 1: make fun of our jobs. I'm not. I'm saying the
- 32:00Speaker 1: point is, you're not. If we got invited. If that's
- 32:06Speaker 1: a job for us, that's a job opportunity, not sacrificing anything.
- 32:11Speaker 1: But um, yeah, of course, it's just but it's you know,
- 32:15Speaker 1: it's that bachelor mindset where you're like, oh, we were,
- 32:18Speaker 1: It's it's the it's like the first kids at camp.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I don't know how to describe it. We're like, no, no, no,
- 32:24Speaker 1: this is our thing. This is not your thing. You
- 32:26Speaker 1: can't come late. This just doesn't belong to you. It's like, okay,
- 32:29Speaker 1: everyone relacks. Yeah, it's off, guys. If you don't remember correctly,
- 32:34Speaker 1: you have only been there for two days. So if
- 32:37Speaker 1: this girl enters right now, it's not like you've been
- 32:39Speaker 1: part of this club that's so exclusive. But we know
- 32:43Speaker 1: that that's the way it goes. We're making fun of it,
- 32:45Speaker 1: but that's just the way it goes, And when you're
- 32:49Speaker 1: actually there, it does seem like the most annoying thing
- 32:53Speaker 1: you could ever it's the end of the world. Oh yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: Jared had to deal with it with Nick. That the
- 33:00Speaker 1: most dramatic of all the middle of the season entrances
- 33:03Speaker 1: it's truly the middle of the season and he finished second. Unbelievable.
- 33:07Speaker 1: That guy. Okay, So then we go onto the one
- 33:11Speaker 1: on one with Christina. Christina is um. She looks like
- 33:16Speaker 1: so many famous people in one she looks like Lauren Conrad, Um,
- 33:22Speaker 1: Kelly Pickler, another American idol, Laurena Elena, and she also
- 33:27Speaker 1: looks like there's some other person that she looks like.
- 33:32Speaker 1: She looks a little bit like Christine Taylor. Anyway, she
- 33:34Speaker 1: looks like a lot of people. I don't know any
- 33:37Speaker 1: of those. These memes are like going around all over.
- 33:39Speaker 1: So I had to mention everybody knows that she's like
- 33:42Speaker 1: the utmost celebrity look like, she's very pray. Everyone knows everyone, Yeah,
- 33:47Speaker 1: everyone knows. Everyone knows. So she's twenty six, she has
- 33:50Speaker 1: a six year old, a kindergartener, and Bailey Bailey. Yeah. Um.
- 33:56Speaker 1: So the big thing about this day is that she's
- 33:58Speaker 1: going to have to reveal to him she has a daughter,
- 34:00Speaker 1: and it might shake him up. But I think she's
- 34:02Speaker 1: telling him so early. It's not like, you know, it's
- 34:05Speaker 1: no big deal. Yeah, unless he thinks it's a big deal,
- 34:09Speaker 1: I guess. But the first well, we'll talk about in
- 34:11Speaker 1: a second for you, Let's also say, of course it's
- 34:13Speaker 1: of course is a big deal. To have a child
- 34:15Speaker 1: and to be dating somebody with a child's a whole
- 34:17Speaker 1: differ because Okay, I'm not you. You know you also
- 34:20Speaker 1: have a daughter involved. I would have to be a stepfather.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Like you know, there's obviously have you quite hevy you know, uh,
- 34:26Speaker 1: circumstances there. What the big deal part is? Like, she
- 34:29Speaker 1: shouldn't even be nervous about telling him. Well, I know,
- 34:32Speaker 1: we understand she's doing the right thing. I think for
- 34:35Speaker 1: us when we said it's not a big deal, because
- 34:37Speaker 1: in our heads she's doing the right thing by telling
- 34:38Speaker 1: early on and not waiting until the suspense builds and
- 34:42Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, it's which people have done before.
- 34:46Speaker 1: People have done it before. Okay, So they go on
- 34:51Speaker 1: a helicopter to his childhood home, which is like an Anaheim,
- 34:55Speaker 1: so pretty close. It's probably like twenty minute of helicopter run,
- 35:00Speaker 1: fifteen minutes maybe, and they get to his doorstep and
- 35:04Speaker 1: he's like, look, this is my whole family, and my
- 35:07Speaker 1: whole family is here, and it's classic. Most memory liated
- 35:10Speaker 1: to this with Maddie and Peter and they always make
- 35:14Speaker 1: it to be like such a big deal, like it's
- 35:16Speaker 1: the most nerve wracking thing, like, oh my god, I
- 35:18Speaker 1: meaning a family already, of course the big deal. But
- 35:21Speaker 1: you were making fun of this last night. I was
- 35:23Speaker 1: making fun of it because, uh, you said that the
- 35:28Speaker 1: show makes family overrated. Of course they do, because anytime
- 35:33Speaker 1: because rape before hometowns, like, oh, is he like I
- 35:36Speaker 1: don't know if I'm ready to involve my family or
- 35:39Speaker 1: I don't know if like I'm ready for him to
- 35:40Speaker 1: meet my family, or I don't know if he's ready
- 35:42Speaker 1: to meet my family, and it's like this big thing,
- 35:44Speaker 1: and it's like I've I've always thought the whole family
- 35:47Speaker 1: aspect was overblown. I mean, I'm sure everybody has their
- 35:50Speaker 1: own dynamic and it could be circumstances which makes you
- 35:52Speaker 1: nervous about somebody bringing someone into your family, which of
- 35:55Speaker 1: course I understand, and you know, everybody has their own situation.
- 35:59Speaker 1: But I guess for you know, in my own experience
- 36:03Speaker 1: or the experience with my friends and family or people
- 36:05Speaker 1: that I know that have been the show most of
- 36:07Speaker 1: the you know, the time, when you're meeting someone, it's like,
- 36:09Speaker 1: of course, like a big deal. You want them to meet,
- 36:11Speaker 1: but like it's always been so overblown, Like I don't
- 36:14Speaker 1: know if I'm ready to bring my family into it.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Like we're talking about you've been on you've been hanging
- 36:17Speaker 1: out with this person for so long, if you are
- 36:19Speaker 1: close with your family, like what's just have them meet them?
- 36:24Speaker 1: I I don't understand. Kids are a different story, because
- 36:26Speaker 1: when you bring kids involved that then you're talking about
- 36:30Speaker 1: a parental figure, which changes the game. But in terms
- 36:33Speaker 1: of like meeting the parents or the cousins, Eiggs, I've
- 36:35Speaker 1: always thought the exact same thing, and I'm like, my
- 36:37Speaker 1: wacky for that. But then of course they must think
- 36:40Speaker 1: the Bachelor must think the exact same thing and just
- 36:41Speaker 1: overblow fantasy or whatever it's called, because on the first
- 36:46Speaker 1: one on one, they're like, Oh, we're just gonna Zack,
- 36:48Speaker 1: do you mind just bringing this girl who you've known
- 36:50Speaker 1: for one day, who you to meet your entire family? No,
- 36:55Speaker 1: of course not. I think that they think that people
- 36:59Speaker 1: in the audience are gonna be like, oh my god,
- 37:01Speaker 1: how terrifying it must be to meet somebody's family on
- 37:04Speaker 1: the first date. Actually, it's probably one of the least
- 37:07Speaker 1: ner racking dates you could have on The Bachelor because
- 37:10Speaker 1: you're like enter this like warm environment where there's so
- 37:14Speaker 1: many people and you're chatting with everyone for like five
- 37:17Speaker 1: minutes instead of having a sit down in the middle
- 37:19Speaker 1: of a silent room. Yeah right, And you and I
- 37:25Speaker 1: you only had one serious relationship and you were young
- 37:28Speaker 1: before me, and then like I never really had a
- 37:30Speaker 1: serious relationship, so it wasn't like I had to like
- 37:32Speaker 1: introduce my parents do a lot of people. But I
- 37:35Speaker 1: also don't think it would be like a big deal
- 37:36Speaker 1: have been like, oh, so and I was coming over tonight,
- 37:39Speaker 1: It's like, okay, Hi, Hi, nice to meet you. You know,
- 37:44Speaker 1: would have been like they're meeting the parents. I guess
- 37:47Speaker 1: like that sometimes happens if you live far away and
- 37:50Speaker 1: then you like bring so and so home for the
- 37:53Speaker 1: first time. But I just don't think it's like as
- 37:56Speaker 1: big of a deal as always presented to be. I
- 37:57Speaker 1: would agree, Okay, So Jared wants to move on. She
- 38:02Speaker 1: sits down and she tells him that she has a kid,
- 38:04Speaker 1: and he is like a little bit nervous blustered by it.
- 38:10Speaker 1: I guess, I don't know. They showed him kind of
- 38:13Speaker 1: getting up from the table and then coming back. I
- 38:15Speaker 1: don't know, but uh, he said that he wanted to
- 38:18Speaker 1: learn more about Yeah, I don't know. I think he
- 38:20Speaker 1: was just taking in the moment. He seemed a little nervous.
- 38:27Speaker 1: He probably just really liked her and was imagining the future,
- 38:29Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden it was like, oh crap,
- 38:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna be a step down if I end up
- 38:33Speaker 1: with you. Yeah, talking about kids is so difficult. I
- 38:36Speaker 1: don't know, it's hard to I don't mean for parents
- 38:39Speaker 1: to do it. I just mean for us as outsiders
- 38:42Speaker 1: talking about you know, a single parent bringing up the
- 38:46Speaker 1: fact that they have a child, or someone being introduced
- 38:49Speaker 1: to really talk about this. Well, no, it's not a right,
- 38:51Speaker 1: but more it's just like for me, I always feel
- 38:53Speaker 1: awkward about it because you know, with parents or adults,
- 38:56Speaker 1: there's one thing you can poke fun it's meant to
- 38:58Speaker 1: be funny and laughter. But with kids, it's just there's
- 39:01Speaker 1: so much more um heaviness to the situation that I
- 39:04Speaker 1: always just feel so awkward even giving my opinion about it,
- 39:07Speaker 1: like what's right, what's wrong, how he handled himself, how
- 39:10Speaker 1: she handled herself, so on and so forth. I think,
- 39:13Speaker 1: you know, I mean, I think that everything went the
- 39:18Speaker 1: way it went, and I think it went well, and um,
- 39:22Speaker 1: it's all we have to say about it. No, I don't.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Then there's not like a lot of thoughts that I
- 39:29Speaker 1: have about this episode, you know, there's not like lots
- 39:32Speaker 1: of The last one was a group date we never
- 39:34Speaker 1: saw exactly made us feel super weird. We're like, wait,
- 39:38Speaker 1: do we miss something because it went to night portion. Yeah,
- 39:41Speaker 1: and I was like, oh, it's night And then you
- 39:44Speaker 1: saw online that they did chop out the daytime, so
- 39:48Speaker 1: it was probably just her timing reasons. Yeah, they just
- 39:51Speaker 1: couldn't fit in the episode. Yeah, and that's where we
- 39:54Speaker 1: see the Gabby sitch um good for Bachelor's but they
- 39:59Speaker 1: don't think it was good, not even good enough, but
- 40:01Speaker 1: just exactly they're gonn taking something out juicier and left
- 40:06Speaker 1: a group data and that no one cares about because
- 40:08Speaker 1: you know, we don't care a lot about the group
- 40:10Speaker 1: day activity. I don't really think the group day activity
- 40:12Speaker 1: during the day usually tells you much about somebody. No,
- 40:14Speaker 1: I mean, the only time the group tape is good
- 40:16Speaker 1: is when people are just like crying or fighting against
- 40:20Speaker 1: each other. You know, it's so much better with not
- 40:24Speaker 1: when it's like an athletic thing. The only time. It's
- 40:26Speaker 1: good when it's athletic is most of the time, because
- 40:28Speaker 1: it's it's I will say, watching the show, it is,
- 40:31Speaker 1: I like, I don't I think it's different right because women,
- 40:36Speaker 1: I don't know. I guess I'm just more okay seeing
- 40:41Speaker 1: men like tear each other down physically, dude, not physically,
- 40:45Speaker 1: like emotionally mentally, just being like you suck blah blah blah,
- 40:48Speaker 1: like accusatory and you know, because it's a guy, like whatever, Yeah,
- 40:54Speaker 1: you're like not taking their feelings seriously. I guess. So
- 40:57Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. It sounds not politically, I'm kidding, relaxed, Okay.
- 41:03Speaker 1: So Gabby is kind of the center point of this
- 41:06Speaker 1: group day evening portion because she just again feels like
- 41:11Speaker 1: she's left out, she's behind the game. She has this
- 41:17Speaker 1: moment with him where she feels super awkward. Anything to
- 41:20Speaker 1: say about that awkward moment, Like she just didn't feel
- 41:23Speaker 1: comfortable in her skin, right, Yeah, I didn't feel comfortable
- 41:25Speaker 1: in her skin, and then he didn't kiss her, which
- 41:28Speaker 1: she felt super insecure about. It's so funny how um
- 41:35Speaker 1: these girls are so open and talking about Zack in
- 41:40Speaker 1: some areas, but then want to be so closed off
- 41:43Speaker 1: in others, like the after credit scene, we see these
- 41:46Speaker 1: girls talking literally about sticking their tongue in Zack's mouth.
- 41:50Speaker 1: It's not Zack's mouth, babe, but no, they were talking
- 41:53Speaker 1: about Zach. Well, sure, how did you kiss with tongue there?
- 41:56Speaker 1: But I think it was more of a general conversation.
- 41:59Speaker 1: It was a gen conversation, but they were specifically they
- 42:01Speaker 1: were they were girls talking specific about Zach, multiple girls.
- 42:05Speaker 1: My point being is that like, yeah, you know, it's
- 42:10Speaker 1: like they're always like, oh, I don't I don't want
- 42:12Speaker 1: to hear him jealous. But then you know, did you
- 42:15Speaker 1: stick your tongue in his mouth? If you're curious, because
- 42:18Speaker 1: then that that makes you figure out where you are
- 42:21Speaker 1: in the competition, don't you think? Of course a little bit,
- 42:26Speaker 1: because if Zach didn't stick is tongue in my mouth,
- 42:28Speaker 1: I'd be like, dude, on don I'm not getting Rose
- 42:31Speaker 1: this week? Yeah I know, but that means he's probably
- 42:34Speaker 1: more into it. Yeah, I get it anyway. So okay,
- 42:39Speaker 1: so there was well, she got all flustered and then
- 42:42Speaker 1: what was her name again? Gabby? Gabby? But then she
- 42:44Speaker 1: redeemed herself wonderfully at the Rose ceremony. Yeah, but before
- 42:47Speaker 1: the rose ceremony she didn't get the rose and she
- 42:49Speaker 1: went off crying by herself and was very upset, and
- 42:52Speaker 1: I felt insecure once again. I just wanted to point
- 42:55Speaker 1: that out because it is so uh interesting to me
- 43:00Speaker 1: still to this day that the Bachelor and bachelorettes will
- 43:03Speaker 1: always have that moment before they hand out a group
- 43:04Speaker 1: date rose where they'll sit down and go through almost
- 43:08Speaker 1: everybody but not everybody, being like Ashley, we had a
- 43:12Speaker 1: really good time tonight. You know, we really opened up
- 43:14Speaker 1: and it was a great it was just a great conversation,
- 43:16Speaker 1: you know, and then it would be like, you know, Natalie,
- 43:19Speaker 1: it was just you know, you you showed me some
- 43:22Speaker 1: things tonight that just felt great and blah blah blahlah blah,
- 43:25Speaker 1: and it's like, whoever he doesn't talk about it is
- 43:26Speaker 1: gonna feel like a complete piece of crap. And it's
- 43:29Speaker 1: so weird that he's just going through all these women
- 43:33Speaker 1: and just explaining to each one in front of everybody
- 43:36Speaker 1: else how their moment was so special to him, which
- 43:40Speaker 1: is sweet one on one, but I don't know, I
- 43:42Speaker 1: always felt so weird about that because I'm like, bro,
- 43:45Speaker 1: you do know, that there's like, I get it's TV.
- 43:49Speaker 1: I'm like, bro, you do know that, like every you're
- 43:51Speaker 1: it doesn't make I don't know how it makes somebody
- 43:53Speaker 1: feel so special when literally the girls sitting next to him,
- 43:56Speaker 1: he makes them feel so special as well. And I
- 43:59Speaker 1: get it. It's the Bachelor, that's the show, but it's
- 44:02Speaker 1: just more prevalent in those moments. Okay, I got that.
- 44:05Speaker 1: So Gabby in the Rose ceremony was great. She really
- 44:09Speaker 1: kept her cool. I think totally redeemed herself and the
- 44:13Speaker 1: peanut butter cup thing was actually probably enough the bors
- 44:16Speaker 1: maneuver he loves Race's did a little lady in the
- 44:20Speaker 1: tramp thing and then it led to a kiss, but
- 44:23Speaker 1: she didn't like actually kiss him, which is why I
- 44:26Speaker 1: like that. Did he kiss her? They k like he
- 44:30Speaker 1: kissed her. It wasn't like she was like going to
- 44:33Speaker 1: use she She used the Ladian tramp thing as like
- 44:36Speaker 1: an entrance point, but didn't like go all the way
- 44:38Speaker 1: in and let him actually go all the way in,
- 44:40Speaker 1: which was really great and I'm happy for her. The
- 44:44Speaker 1: other moment during the cocktail hour was with Brianna and
- 44:49Speaker 1: his body language towards Brianna is wacky. Not into her.
- 44:55Speaker 1: His head was straightforward and he just didn't want to
- 44:59Speaker 1: turn his head left. It was weird Jared. He wasn't
- 45:02Speaker 1: making any eye contact. And then it wasn't even like
- 45:05Speaker 1: he showed disinterest in her, particularly in the earlier part
- 45:11Speaker 1: of the episode, like he kissed her on the group date.
- 45:15Speaker 1: I think it was probably when she was trying to
- 45:16Speaker 1: bring up, um, why do I want to call her
- 45:19Speaker 1: Lauren because she looks like Lauren Lena, but Christina. He
- 45:22Speaker 1: was so Christina the week prior, goes oh my god,
- 45:26Speaker 1: you know, something like about the America's roa, oh my god,
- 45:28Speaker 1: I hate you, which is literally what we all say.
- 45:32Speaker 1: And I would have taken that as a compliment because
- 45:35Speaker 1: it meant that she was jealous, but also in jelous
- 45:38Speaker 1: jealous and like a not so serious way, oh my god,
- 45:42Speaker 1: I hate you. How many times do we say oh
- 45:43Speaker 1: my god, I hate you in a way like that
- 45:45Speaker 1: in girl culture? You know, Oh yeah, I'm saying guy
- 45:48Speaker 1: culture like, yeah, exactly, but yeah, I I when she
- 45:55Speaker 1: when they flash, I'm glad they flashed back to it
- 45:57Speaker 1: because I feel like a lot of these times and yes,
- 45:59Speaker 1: it was this bachelor moment exactly, but we had evidence
- 46:03Speaker 1: right there. They wanted us to know that it was ridiculous. Yes,
- 46:06Speaker 1: I would agree, and she was just trying to create
- 46:08Speaker 1: herself to be a victim. Uh yeah, I mean it
- 46:13Speaker 1: definitely came off that way. Um. He had had nothing
- 46:18Speaker 1: that he wanted to say to her, though. He truly
- 46:20Speaker 1: was like, it's almost it almost felt like he saw
- 46:23Speaker 1: the comment like and he was like, there's no way
- 46:27Speaker 1: you're taking that seriously, And um, yeah, I felt bad.
- 46:31Speaker 1: What's her name, Christina, Christina, Christina? Where she felt she
- 46:36Speaker 1: was like, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. That was
- 46:38Speaker 1: she has a Southern accident, right, that was terrible. That
- 46:42Speaker 1: was so bad of me. What you're trying try doing
- 46:45Speaker 1: a Southern accidents? Just sorry, I'm sorry. Anyway, she kept
- 46:49Speaker 1: saying I'm sorry, and uh I felt really bad because
- 46:52Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, you know, maybe okay, Brianna. You know
- 46:55Speaker 1: I would have been like, oh my god. I was
- 46:57Speaker 1: like truly, you know, I said I hate you, like,
- 46:59Speaker 1: oh my god, I hate you, but at least take
- 47:03Speaker 1: it the wrong way. She sat her down, they talked
- 47:06Speaker 1: about it. It should have been over because it was like, hey,
- 47:09Speaker 1: I did not mean that. It was clear that she
- 47:11Speaker 1: didn't mean it that way. She apologized a million times.
- 47:15Speaker 1: It felt felt very genuine. So it's like, okay, let's
- 47:19Speaker 1: just all move on. It was taken out of context whatever,
- 47:20Speaker 1: who cares. But then Brianna was like, well, I need
- 47:23Speaker 1: to see actions, and it's like, okay, I don't agree
- 47:27Speaker 1: with that. And then she goes to Zach or Zach
- 47:30Speaker 1: and her sit down and then she wants so badly
- 47:34Speaker 1: to tell him about this moment. It's like, Brianna, why
- 47:36Speaker 1: do you feel so compelled? Do you think that she's
- 47:40Speaker 1: a bad seed? Do you think she's a bad person?
- 47:42Speaker 1: Do you think Zach shouldn't be with her? No? No, no no,
- 47:45Speaker 1: I guess I'm asking you. Does she think that? Christine? Yeah, Like,
- 47:49Speaker 1: why do you feel the need to tell Zack about
- 47:51Speaker 1: this moment? I mean, it's I don't know, it's just
- 47:55Speaker 1: and I understand that you feel a little insecure or
- 47:58Speaker 1: you're just feeling not you're a st right now. But unfortunately,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I that's just kind of the concept of the show.
- 48:05Speaker 1: You're surrounded by you know, we all felt this way.
- 48:08Speaker 1: You're surrounded by just beautiful people who are successful people.
- 48:10Speaker 1: You're competing for one person. It just brings out a
- 48:13Speaker 1: lot of insecurities, and it's really not, you know, the
- 48:16Speaker 1: most conducive for you to feel your utmost confident, at
- 48:19Speaker 1: least for me, so I can understand where Brown is
- 48:21Speaker 1: coming from. At the same time, like, don't try to
- 48:22Speaker 1: villainize someone else. I think Zach was like, this girl
- 48:26Speaker 1: for the second time this week is coming up to
- 48:29Speaker 1: me being like I'm not okay I think Zack yet,
- 48:33Speaker 1: And he's like, okay, I'm over. I want somebody at this.
- 48:36Speaker 1: If you're not okay right now, how are you going
- 48:38Speaker 1: to be in a couple of weeks. I think he
- 48:39Speaker 1: was just like, all right, I'm done with the Debbie
- 48:41Speaker 1: Downer tude. Yeah. I think he probably just thinking, like
- 48:46Speaker 1: a lot of us were thinking that, like listen, if
- 48:48Speaker 1: this is getting to you, if that type of thing
- 48:50Speaker 1: is getting to you, maybe this is not the best
- 48:52Speaker 1: environment for you, which is totally understandable because its not
- 48:54Speaker 1: the best environment for everybody. Um, but you know it
- 48:57Speaker 1: might be best if just you know, you'll leave, or
- 49:01Speaker 1: maybe it's actually sent her home. I don't really know.
- 49:04Speaker 1: All right, Well, too fast forward to the end the
- 49:07Speaker 1: Rose ceremony, Cat Victoria, Jay and Kimberly are the ones
- 49:13Speaker 1: that are going home. And I think the only person
- 49:15Speaker 1: that we kind of really remember from this group is
- 49:18Speaker 1: Cat because she gave off Ramona from the Housewives energy. Yeah,
- 49:23Speaker 1: she had some means. Yeah, she's just like a character
- 49:26Speaker 1: and you knew she kind of would be when she
- 49:27Speaker 1: was on after the Final Rose. But definitely not a
- 49:31Speaker 1: Zach girl, you know like that. No, he doesn't't even
- 49:36Speaker 1: think you like, do you think the leader of the
- 49:38Speaker 1: clubhouses right now? I think Christina and Catherine and then
- 49:42Speaker 1: Greer career was the first Impression Rose. So people who
- 49:45Speaker 1: are getting roses early, it's pretty predictable, but I think
- 49:48Speaker 1: that those are probably going to be your top three. Ish,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I'm right there with you. Yeah, I'm sure you know
- 49:54Speaker 1: exactly what I'm talking about. I mean, I knew who
- 49:56Speaker 1: they are. All right, Well, we have just a few
- 49:59Speaker 1: hot topic this week, one including Greer that you may
- 50:02Speaker 1: have already heard of. We will talk about that right
- 50:05Speaker 1: after this, all right, babe, did you know our first
- 50:18Speaker 1: headline that Greer the first Impression Rose Getter apologizes this
- 50:23Speaker 1: week for defending black face in the past. I did
- 50:28Speaker 1: see something like this, I didn't, Okay, So I'm going
- 50:32Speaker 1: to read this directly because I want to get the
- 50:33Speaker 1: facts you know perfectly out there. So it's less than
- 50:37Speaker 1: twenty four hours after that Monday Night episode that Greer
- 50:41Speaker 1: Blitzer Um apologized for past racism online. She says, the
- 50:46Speaker 1: journey to love is filled with lessons, and these lessons
- 50:50Speaker 1: are also made on our journey of growth. In my past,
- 50:55Speaker 1: I have made some uneducated, ignorant, and frankly wrong comments
- 50:58Speaker 1: on my social media counts. She's twenty four, by the way,
- 51:02Speaker 1: Um from Texas. In particular, I use misguided arguments on
- 51:07Speaker 1: Twitter to defend a student who was dressed in black
- 51:10Speaker 1: face as Tupac for Halloween. I am deeply sorry to
- 51:13Speaker 1: those that have hurt, especially those within the black community,
- 51:16Speaker 1: not because these screenshots have resurface, but because I ever
- 51:21Speaker 1: shared these harmful opinions at all time and age. You
- 51:24Speaker 1: do not excuse my actions. But this is not a
- 51:27Speaker 1: reflection of who I am today. So basically, she was
- 51:33Speaker 1: in a picture. She in the picture. Well, Reddit did
- 51:38Speaker 1: the finding, so Reddit users they found screenshots of her
- 51:44Speaker 1: supporting a fellow teenager who was under fire for wearing
- 51:48Speaker 1: black face and a Tupac shirt at a party. The
- 51:52Speaker 1: students involved didn't even know what black face was. So
- 51:57Speaker 1: my point exactly, this wasn't intentionally racist act. This is
- 52:00Speaker 1: what she said on Twitter a couple of years ago.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Um she said she did not pain herself black because
- 52:07Speaker 1: she felt superior to black people. Putting white powder on
- 52:10Speaker 1: your face isn't okay either. That didn't make the news,
- 52:13Speaker 1: did it. I apologize if this offended you, but you
- 52:16Speaker 1: must understand it was not intentionally supposed to be perceived
- 52:20Speaker 1: that way at all. And then this two past Tuesday,
- 52:23Speaker 1: she said she in her statement that she um does
- 52:27Speaker 1: not stand by or condone the damaging opinions and behaviors
- 52:32Speaker 1: that I share at that stage of my life and
- 52:34Speaker 1: will forever regret making those offensive remarks. There we go.
- 52:38Speaker 1: That's I was going to say, There we go. I mean,
- 52:41Speaker 1: just let's not defend black face, she apologized. So what
- 52:47Speaker 1: else are we gonna do? That's good, she apologized. So
- 52:51Speaker 1: she did not do black face. She did not. She
- 52:54Speaker 1: defended her friend who was at the party with her
- 52:57Speaker 1: or I don't even know if she was at the
- 52:58Speaker 1: party he or she was. At the point is she
- 53:00Speaker 1: was defending her friend online for people saying that, yeah,
- 53:04Speaker 1: black face was wrong. Yeah, she did not participate in
- 53:06Speaker 1: it herself. Okay, yeah, I mean just don't. But what
- 53:09Speaker 1: are we doing if there's people online who were saying
- 53:11Speaker 1: black face is bad? I mean, this is probably a
- 53:13Speaker 1: couple of years ago to Yeah, I think it was
- 53:14Speaker 1: two thousands. I can't. I don't want to give a year.
- 53:19Speaker 1: It was during high school. It was during high school.
- 53:20Speaker 1: Tick high school, and she's pretty young. But anyway, point is, yeah,
- 53:26Speaker 1: point is obviously you should know that black face is bad,
- 53:29Speaker 1: and she apologized exactly. Um And the other big headline
- 53:35Speaker 1: this week, there's two of them. One is Christina, the
- 53:39Speaker 1: girl that we've been talking about all episode long, how
- 53:42Speaker 1: did cameo? And Taylor Swifts fifteen music video? That's super cool.
- 53:48Speaker 1: She wasn't really young because she's twenty six now, and
- 53:50Speaker 1: that song, that video came out when I was twenty one,
- 53:58Speaker 1: So what's the wow? Why I'm freaking old? It was
- 54:02Speaker 1: like thirteen years ago. So the thirteen years ago, yeah,
- 54:06Speaker 1: she was well, I don't know, it was thirteen years ago.
- 54:10Speaker 1: She's twenty six, so she could have been like thirteen,
- 54:14Speaker 1: that's I know. And the fifteen is obviously about your
- 54:19Speaker 1: high school life. So yeah, and our final headline is
- 54:24Speaker 1: that Raven Gates and Adam Gotstock are expecting a second baby.
- 54:30Speaker 1: She's due in July, and we don't know how they're
- 54:34Speaker 1: gonna do it. Yeah, they're they're they're gonna be a
- 54:38Speaker 1: year and a half apart. She's over three months. She's
- 54:40Speaker 1: out of here. Yeah, yeah, she she found out in November.
- 54:45Speaker 1: I know they were definitely trying. They wanted this people.
- 54:48Speaker 1: They're probably incredible parents too. Raven. I just cannot get
- 54:53Speaker 1: over just like the sweetness she is. I could listen
- 54:56Speaker 1: to her talk all day long. Like she sends me
- 54:59Speaker 1: a voice memos sometimes and I'm like, can you just
- 55:01Speaker 1: like narrate my life. She's the sweetest voice and just
- 55:04Speaker 1: like you can tell, it's not just the voice, it's
- 55:06Speaker 1: like truly her insides. Yeah, Raven's a good one. Yeah. Alright, Well,
- 55:10Speaker 1: congratulations to them. Congratulations, and we are going to sign
- 55:14Speaker 1: off now. We love you guys, Thank you so much,
