A Goa casino director narrowly escaped an ambush outside a hotel as two armed men opened fire—his bodyguard returned shots, scaring off the attackers. The director, Srinivas Nayak, believes they were casing his routine, with no prior threats or known motive. Police are investigating attempted murder and weapons charges, using CCTV footage that shows the shooters waiting before firing.
