Buccaneers Eye Zach Ertz for TE Boost | Tampa Bay Buccaneers News
Tampa Bay’s Bucs may be quietly targeting veteran tight end Zach Ertz, a three-time Pro Bowler recovering from a torn ACL and turning 36 — but still capable of big numbers. With his best fit possibly being Carolina to help Bryce Young, Ertz could be a low-cost upgrade for Tampa if they need depth at TE, especially with Cade Otton’s limited production and Mike Evans gone. Ertz’s history of elite play — including a 116-catch season — makes him a tempting late-season option if he stays healthy.
