- 0:00Speaker 1: The L.A.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Rams in Melbourne playing the San Francisco 49ers.
- 0:05Speaker 3: They happen to be there, too.
- 0:07Speaker 2: The line is minus three and a half.
- 0:09Speaker 3: The total, 48.
- 0:10Speaker 2: We're going to take that game apart right now. Welcome, everybody,
- 0:14Speaker 2: to the best betting show ever. I'm Lawrence Presman, Joe Ranieri,
- 0:17Speaker 2: and Art DeCesar. We got a big show, tons of information.
- 0:21Speaker 2: But right off the bat, Joe Ranieri, let's talk San
- 0:25Speaker 2: Fran and L.A., Let's start with the total.
- 0:28Speaker 3: It's 48.
- 0:29Speaker 2: We saw last night between Seattle and New England, both
- 0:33Speaker 2: offenses really struggled out of the gate. They did get
- 0:36Speaker 2: it going a little bit in the second half. Obviously,
- 0:40Speaker 2: Drew Luck affected the game, but there was an out
- 0:43Speaker 2: of syncness clearly last night. Are you looking to an
- 0:46Speaker 2: under or an over here?
- 0:52Speaker 4: I tend to think that, and it's worked pretty well early. Obviously,
- 0:57Speaker 4: last night, I didn't think we were going to get
- 0:58Speaker 4: a ton of points in that game. And I certainly
- 1:02Speaker 4: didn't think we were going to get 22 of them
- 1:03Speaker 4: in the first half there. I kind of think we're
- 1:07Speaker 4: going to get some points early in this one, though.
- 1:10Speaker 4: I think the points come early. I'm looking more towards
- 1:14Speaker 4: the first half in this one, Prez, because the Rams
- 1:16Speaker 4: have been here and they have done this. I mean,
- 1:18Speaker 4: they just landed yesterday or today. I don't even know
- 1:22Speaker 4: what the hell day it is there. But, you know,
- 1:24Speaker 4: they sent. Their trainers over the last two years, they've
- 1:29Speaker 4: been sending employees there to try to figure out what
- 1:33Speaker 4: the best way with the body clock and everything else
- 1:35Speaker 4: is to play this damn game.
- 1:37Speaker 1: And who am I to argue?
- 1:39Speaker 4: I mean, the guy's 3-0 here, I think, McVay, in
- 1:41Speaker 4: these international games. And they average a boatload of points, too.
- 1:45Speaker 4: So I think the points are going to come early
- 1:49Speaker 4: in this one. Plus, Bosa's not 100% yet. That defense
- 1:52Speaker 4: of the 49ers, still some question marks there.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and Myles.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Garrett is definitely going to get only better in that system.
- 1:59Speaker 3: And Aaron Donald, you know, who knows what.
- 2:02Speaker 2: You can expect from him. A ton of offensive talent
- 2:05Speaker 2: on the field.
- 2:07Speaker 3: That's for sure.
- 2:08Speaker 2: You know, Joe, we look at, I'll go to you, Art.
- 2:12Speaker 2: We now have got more money coming in on the Rams. Literally,
- 2:16Speaker 2: as we're speaking, we got our first four up at MGM.
- 2:19Speaker 2: We got more money coming in everywhere. It really feels
- 2:23Speaker 2: like the Rams are taking the bulk of the action.
- 2:25Speaker 2: 68% of the tickets have been written on the Rams
- 2:30Speaker 2: so far. Are you with them? Do you like the
- 2:34Speaker 2: Rams here at minus three and a half, minus four?
- 2:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I think initially when everyone looked at it,
- 2:41Speaker 5: once again, these numbers have been out for a while, right?
- 2:43Speaker 5: I think it was like, okay, we're all going to
- 2:44Speaker 5: take the Rams. And then I think when it settled down,
- 2:48Speaker 5: the Niner money came in. And now every show you
- 2:52Speaker 5: listen to, everyone, all these pundits, everyone is Niners, Niners, Niners.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Now it feels like, okay, the people have settled in
- 2:59Speaker 5: and said, wait, hold on. The Rams are way better.
- 3:01Speaker 5: This is a better team.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Not way better.
- 3:03Speaker 5: I know the Niners are good, but it feels like
- 3:05Speaker 5: the Rams is the right side. You hate to lay
- 3:07Speaker 5: three and a half or four in a division game,
- 3:10Speaker 5: but I think when push comes to shove, it will
- 3:12Speaker 5: be a tight game early, and I think the Rams
- 3:14Speaker 5: will pull away, win between seven and ten points, lay
- 3:17Speaker 5: the points with the Rams.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Guys, I'm going to give you a prop bet. Tell
- 3:21Speaker 3: me what you think.
- 3:22Speaker 2: You know, I think Brock Purdy over 250 at plus
- 3:27Speaker 2: 104 is a good bet to me. I think the
- 3:30Speaker 2: Rams are going to be a tough team to run against.
- 3:33Speaker 2: And I think that this game there's going to be
- 3:36Speaker 2: points scored.
- 3:36Speaker 3: So I like.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Over 250 for Brock Purdy in passing yards.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Joe, any thoughts there?
- 3:45Speaker 4: I think they're going to have to throw the ball
- 3:46Speaker 4: because I don't think they're going to have to run.
- 3:48Speaker 4: I don't think the running is going to be there,
- 3:50Speaker 4: not to mention McCaffrey. I think he's more dangerous out
- 3:55Speaker 4: of the backfield. I think he's more dangerous catching passes
- 3:58Speaker 4: out of the backfield than he is a runner at
- 3:59Speaker 4: this point in his career. So it was a down
- 4:02Speaker 4: year of him running the ball last year. I think, listen,
- 4:06Speaker 4: Purdy with Kirk and Evans now. We have to see.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Is Evans still a half a step slow?
- 4:14Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:14Speaker 4: But Kirk, I think, can be the X factor here
- 4:17Speaker 4: because– He had a down year, but C.J. Straub was
- 4:20Speaker 4: his quarterback last year in Houston, so he wasn't going
- 4:22Speaker 4: to light up the world.
- 4:24Speaker 1: He might have some chances to do some damage this year.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and I like your point. Sorry, Art. Go ahead, yes.
- 4:31Speaker 5: To stick with the props, and we're talking about passing,
- 4:34Speaker 5: and Joe just mentioned McCaffrey, over four and a half
- 4:36Speaker 5: catches for McCaffrey.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I like that. Yeah, I like that, too.
- 4:40Speaker 3: We're going to see a lot of sort of wheel
- 4:42Speaker 3: routes with him this year, don't you think?
- 4:43Speaker 6: A bunch of that.
- 4:46Speaker 3: And he's going to break it.
- 4:47Speaker 2: You know, I'm with you there. Okay, so Joe likes
- 4:53Speaker 2: the over first half. He thinks there's going to be scoring.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I like Brock Purdy over 250 plus passing yards.
- 5:01Speaker 3: And Art, you lean on the Rams.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 5:05Speaker 6: I lean on the Rams. And like I said, I
- 5:07Speaker 6: really like that McCaffrey over... um, receptions because the pressure.
- 5:10Speaker 5: That the Rams are going to get a lot of
- 5:12Speaker 5: dink and dunks to McCaffrey.
- 5:13Speaker 6: I mean, he could probably approach double digits and catches.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. I agree.
- 5:18Speaker 2: And, and, and you know, the one thing, and we'll
- 5:20Speaker 2: see what happens with Kirk, but I don't think anyone's
- 5:23Speaker 2: really there to stretch the field for San Fran. So, uh,
- 5:28Speaker 2: you know, so I, I think you're right, Art. I
- 5:29Speaker 2: think their strategy is going to be that dink and
- 5:32Speaker 2: dunk style. Anyway, guys, hit the like button. Subscribe to
- 5:37Speaker 2: our channel. Make sure to comment. We will go through
- 5:40Speaker 2: the mailbag section later on in the show. Lots of
- 5:43Speaker 2: amazing comments yesterday.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Shout out to you all.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Guys, well, before we get into our shark bets, let's
- 5:50Speaker 2: talk really quick. What did we learn last night? I'm
- 5:53Speaker 2: going to tell you right off the bat. Seattle is dangerous.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I mean, they just won with a backup who actually
- 6:02Speaker 2: looked good.
- 6:04Speaker 3: But their defense.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Now I don't want to overreact, but this is probably
- 6:09Speaker 2: the best defense in the league last year. For sure
- 6:12Speaker 2: the best defense in the league the second half of
- 6:14Speaker 2: the season. It's not ridiculous to say that they're going
- 6:18Speaker 2: to be top three unit this year. They were flying
- 6:23Speaker 2: last night. And on top of that, shout out to
- 6:25Speaker 2: Drake May. He played outstanding in the fourth quarter, except
- 6:29Speaker 2: the brain cramp at the end. But come on, that
- 6:32Speaker 2: fourth and nine, he really showed some good moxie. My takeaway,
- 6:36Speaker 2: look to bet the unders in Seattle all year long.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Joe?
- 6:44Speaker 4: I said, and we said it here, Prez, that there
- 6:47Speaker 4: is going to be regression for Drake May and that
- 6:50Speaker 4: offense because that schedule propped them up to be something
- 6:54Speaker 4: that they are not. And listen, AJ Brown was not
- 6:59Speaker 4: going to be the end-all, be-all for that team in
- 7:02Speaker 4: any way, shape, or form. So, yeah, I think what
- 7:05Speaker 4: you saw last night is what we have seen, I think,
- 7:08Speaker 4: for the last 12 games against teams over. 500, because
- 7:12Speaker 4: I believe Drake May has yet to beat a team
- 7:16Speaker 4: in this particular spot in the regular season.
- 7:19Speaker 1: So.
- 7:20Speaker 4: To me, this is what you're going to get this
- 7:23Speaker 4: year against the big boy schedule because you're not going
- 7:25Speaker 4: to be playing just the Jets and just Arizona and
- 7:29Speaker 4: just these terrible teams.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Expect that.
- 7:33Speaker 4: Defensively, they're good. Make no mistake about it. But they're
- 7:37Speaker 4: going to lose more of those one-score games than they're
- 7:40Speaker 4: going to win, I think, moving forward against a better competition.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah, and they had that game last night, Art.
- 7:47Speaker 3: It was there for them.
- 7:49Speaker 2: And that's going to be a costly loss for them. But, yeah,
- 7:55Speaker 2: I mean, what do you think of their defense? It's
- 7:58Speaker 2: tough to tell.
- 7:59Speaker 3: But, you know, Drew Locke looked good, man. He really
- 8:02Speaker 3: looked poised. He looked calm.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Well, he made a handful of throws that he needed
- 8:09Speaker 4: to make at a good time, and that was the
- 8:11Speaker 4: difference there.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Listen, he's a backup quarterback. What's the rule? Two games?
- 8:18Speaker 4: You know, I mean, that's what they're good for as
- 8:19Speaker 4: a backup quarterback, maybe to win two games. But if
- 8:22Speaker 4: you're expecting more in week five and he's still your quarterback,
- 8:26Speaker 4: I think Seattle's in trouble.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:29Speaker 5: I think they could survive with him, though, because their
- 8:31Speaker 5: defense is so good.
- 8:33Speaker 3: But not in that division. I don't think they can
- 8:35Speaker 3: survive in that division.
- 8:36Speaker 1: That division is tough.
- 8:37Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, their home field and their defense. Listen,
- 8:42Speaker 6: my big takeaway was McDonald's the best coach in the league.
- 8:46Speaker 6: That was my takeaway. I think he's the best coach
- 8:48Speaker 6: in the league.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Well, at least he owns Drake Mayway now.
- 8:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 8:51Speaker 6: I mean, he's a phenomenal coach, so I love that guy.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Could be a while before they play Drake May again.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Sharp bets, Art. We got a slate of... Baseball going.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Obviously, we've got some football going and we've got a
- 9:06Speaker 2: whole college football slate in front of us.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Same with NFL.
- 9:09Speaker 2: What are you seeing out there from the wise guys?
- 9:13Speaker 6: Yeah, it's only a four or five game baseball slate.
- 9:16Speaker 6: I think five.
- 9:16Speaker 5: So really small. The only sharp thing to report baseball
- 9:19Speaker 5: wise is the White Sox. I'll dive into some more
- 9:22Speaker 5: of the moves when we get to the college football section.
- 9:25Speaker 5: But just only thing to report sharp wise in MLB today, Chicago.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 9:30Speaker 1: There you go.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Our parlay of the day on Thursdays is all college football.
- 9:37Speaker 3: Art DeCesar, why don't you go first?
- 9:40Speaker 5: It certainly is. I'm going to lay the big number
- 9:43Speaker 5: with UCLA. 11 and a half.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Joe Ranieri?
- 9:47Speaker 1: Ohio State. The upend Texas.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I'm going to go with the under in the Oklahoma,
- 9:56Speaker 2: Michigan game, 43 and a half.
- 9:58Speaker 3: The under argue with that in the Oklahoma, Michigan game.
- 10:02Speaker 2: That is our parlay of the day guys moving forward.
- 10:05Speaker 2: We're going to be doing something called our NFL contest picks.
- 10:09Speaker 2: We're going to do NFL today, college football tomorrow. The
- 10:12Speaker 2: focus is on our pick five. So it's all side
- 10:15Speaker 2: bets against the spread and, The three of us are
- 10:18Speaker 2: in the Circa Millions.
- 10:19Speaker 3: We plan on winning it.
- 10:21Speaker 2: We will not go through all five necessarily on this show,
- 10:26Speaker 2: but we will sort of hash out a few. And
- 10:29Speaker 2: I'm going to start off the bat, Joe Ranieri. We
- 10:31Speaker 2: don't need to do a whole take. If it's a
- 10:33Speaker 2: quick yes, then it's a yes. I would like to
- 10:36Speaker 2: submit the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars as part
- 10:42Speaker 2: of our five.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Feel free to.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Talk me out of it, or if you say no,
- 10:48Speaker 2: we just move on.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Joe?
- 10:52Speaker 1: No argument for me, Press.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I mean, I think that Baltimore is extremely overvalued heading
- 10:59Speaker 4: into the season.
- 10:59Speaker 1: We've talked about this game, too.
- 11:01Speaker 4: I think not a lot of people talking about Indy,
- 11:05Speaker 4: you know, because of Danny Dimes now, and if he
- 11:08Speaker 4: goes down, then it's Anthony Richardson.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yeah, how good was he last year?
- 11:12Speaker 4: I think they're underestimating what Lou Anarumo and that defense
- 11:16Speaker 4: of the Colts are going to bring to the table.
- 11:18Speaker 4: And I'm not sure we all really know whether Minter
- 11:22Speaker 4: and this team, I'm not buying it. They're going to
- 11:25Speaker 4: have to prove it to me. I think it's worth
- 11:27Speaker 4: taking the points here. I think there's too much value
- 11:29Speaker 4: not to take the points.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And you're good with Jacksonville as well. I know it's
- 11:33Speaker 2: a big number, but I think it's a 41-3 kind
- 11:35Speaker 2: of a game. No.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I do not trust Jacksonville early on in the year
- 11:40Speaker 4: to cover this kind of number. Absolutely not. Even against
- 11:44Speaker 4: the Browns. Even against the Browns. You know how pissed
- 11:47Speaker 4: I will be if they don't cover this number and
- 11:51Speaker 4: in week one.
- 11:51Speaker 1: We pick the big favorite? No, absolutely not.
- 11:56Speaker 2: So Indianapolis is confirmed. Art, do you have a suggestion
- 11:59Speaker 2: for us?
- 12:01Speaker 6: I like the Vikings. I like divisional team at home.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I have no problem with the Vikings.
- 12:05Speaker 5: One and a half in the contest. I think Green
- 12:07Speaker 5: Bay is kind of a mess here. And I think
- 12:09Speaker 5: we're going to get a slugfest in a divisional game
- 12:12Speaker 5: in a week one. And I don't have to lay
- 12:13Speaker 5: three or three and a half. Basically, with a one
- 12:16Speaker 5: and a half, you just need Minnesota to win the game.
- 12:18Speaker 5: I like the Vikings in the contest.
- 12:20Speaker 3: Joe, are you good with the Vikings?
- 12:22Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm so interested in seeing what we're getting from
- 12:26Speaker 4: the Vikings this year.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I really am.
- 12:28Speaker 4: I think that he is a quarterback whisperer, after all.
- 12:31Speaker 4: He did create Sam Donald and reinvented him. I think
- 12:34Speaker 4: we're going to see some of that here with Kyler Murray. So, yeah,
- 12:37Speaker 4: I don't mind the Vikings at all.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Joe, can you give us one, and then we'll have
- 12:44Speaker 2: three of the five.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, it's going to be tough, but I'm
- 12:49Speaker 4: still going with the Raiders, even though.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Brock Bowers is done.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yes.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Myers is just a good tight end, especially against the Dolphins.
- 12:59Speaker 4: I got no problem backing the old man there, Kirk Cousins,
- 13:04Speaker 4: and the Raiders to get it done at home.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Art, I agree.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Are you good with the Raiders?
- 13:10Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't disagree.
- 13:11Speaker 5: And Joe's point to, listen, Bowers is the best tight
- 13:13Speaker 5: end in the league, but Meyer's pretty good.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:15Speaker 6: And the Raiders are at home.
- 13:17Speaker 5: And I think we all universally think outside of, you know,
- 13:20Speaker 5: we think Arizona's going to be bad.
- 13:22Speaker 6: I think we all think Miami's the worst team. Yep.
- 13:25Speaker 5: So week one, them traveling to Vegas, even though it's
- 13:29Speaker 5: three and a half in the contest, I like the Raiders.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:32Speaker 2: So those are three of our five picks, everybody. The Raiders,
- 13:35Speaker 2: the Vikings, and the Colts.
- 13:38Speaker 3: Oh, my goodness.
- 13:39Speaker 2: If you want to see all five of our picks,
- 13:42Speaker 2: what is our team name, Art DeCesar?
- 13:45Speaker 6: You can't fit.
- 13:46Speaker 5: It's the same thing that happened in the college contest.
- 13:48Speaker 5: They cut you off with characters and as many letters
- 13:51Speaker 5: and numbers that you could put in. So we're just
- 13:53Speaker 5: the best betting show. I couldn't fit in ever. They
- 13:56Speaker 5: don't allow me to get all the way. So same
- 13:58Speaker 5: thing like in the Westgate one. If you look, we
- 14:00Speaker 5: were four and three in the college last week. The
- 14:03Speaker 5: best betting show.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Okay, beautiful.
- 14:07Speaker 2: That's the contest stuff, guys. No predictive today. Let's talk
- 14:12Speaker 2: about some business, though, Joe. I have a great NFL
- 14:16Speaker 2: card up for Sunday, everybody. I've got a 4% teaser.
- 14:23Speaker 2: I also have a side bet, an ATS side bet.
- 14:27Speaker 2: The reason I am mentioning that is There are very
- 14:30Speaker 2: few things in the world stronger than my ATS side bets.
- 14:35Speaker 2: To give you guys perspective, over the last four, I went,
- 14:39Speaker 2: are you ready for this? I went 13-4 against the
- 14:43Speaker 2: spread last year in the NFL. 13-4. There are a
- 14:48Speaker 2: few messages there. One, I basically only have one a week.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I'm really selective. And two, I'm an NFL ATS betting god.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I am 63% over the last four years of NFL
- 15:01Speaker 2: ATS betting. Go find anybody. Go find, send me somebody
- 15:05Speaker 2: who has a better record than that. I have an
- 15:08Speaker 2: incredible NFL ATS bet up for Sunday.
- 15:11Speaker 3: I have two totals.
- 15:13Speaker 2: I have a teaser 4% play. But when you buy
- 15:17Speaker 2: my card, you will also get ATS thoughts on every
- 15:21Speaker 2: single game on the board. You will get total thoughts
- 15:25Speaker 2: on almost every game on the board. You will get
- 15:28Speaker 2: a lot of analysis. You will get all my contest plays.
- 15:32Speaker 2: It is a full package. I am the man to
- 15:35Speaker 2: play in NFL. I'm going to have a monster season.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Start early with me, please. I have one tonight as well.
- 15:45Speaker 2: So check that out. uh please guys buy like a
- 15:48Speaker 2: month of my nfl and let's win together like i'm
- 15:51Speaker 2: begging you i'm i'm telling you i'm going to have
- 15:54Speaker 2: a great nfl season art what do you got going
- 15:57Speaker 2: for the clients any baseball is your college up is
- 16:00Speaker 2: your nfl up today.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Prez actually you know i've been on here for you
- 16:05Speaker 5: know about two and a half weeks loading picks today
- 16:07Speaker 5: will be the first day because it's so small that
- 16:09Speaker 5: i'll actually pass on the baseball card. I've had a
- 16:11Speaker 5: baseball play up every day. It's just harder. And listen,
- 16:14Speaker 5: I'm never going to force anything, never going to just
- 16:16Speaker 5: have something up to have that.
- 16:17Speaker 6: I don't believe that.
- 16:19Speaker 5: But later on today, we'll have two college plays loaded,
- 16:23Speaker 5: probably going to look to get a third up there.
- 16:24Speaker 5: So we'll have a nice little, Free pack up there
- 16:26Speaker 5: for college. Definitely going to have one NFL loaded later
- 16:30Speaker 5: today as well. And probably to look to play two
- 16:33Speaker 5: games in week one as well. So probably add another
- 16:36Speaker 5: one there. And listen, you know, go check out my page,
- 16:39Speaker 5: see everything I'm doing there. See, you know, all my
- 16:41Speaker 5: free plays, all my last 20 and just kind of
- 16:43Speaker 5: get a sense of, you know, my philosophy and what
- 16:46Speaker 5: I believe in.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Joe, what do you have going for the clients? Are
- 16:50Speaker 3: you playing baseball today?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Is your college football and NFL card up?
- 16:53Speaker 1: Free play.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Yeah, the free play is up there for Major League Baseball,
- 16:57Speaker 4: my page. Two college, two NFL locked and loaded for
- 17:03Speaker 4: the weekend. You can go grab those now over at wageredtalk.com
- 17:07Speaker 4: or just get the whole damn weekend warrior pass and
- 17:10Speaker 4: get every one that we.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Post in there. I think that's the best way to
- 17:14Speaker 1: do it. Yeah.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Yep.
- 17:16Speaker 3: There you go.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Okay, guys, remember to hit the like button, subscribe to
- 17:20Speaker 2: our channel. If you want to hear anything, you want
- 17:22Speaker 2: us to talk about anything, just ask.
- 17:23Speaker 3: We read the comment section every day.
- 17:25Speaker 2: And when I say we, Art and I read the
- 17:28Speaker 2: comment section every single day. College football week two, and
- 17:33Speaker 2: I'm going to stick with totals.
- 17:35Speaker 3: I'm going to look at.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Tennessee and Georgia Tech over 55 and a half here, guys.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I'm not going to go into a whole lot of reasoning,
- 17:43Speaker 2: but I think the line is off by six points.
- 17:47Speaker 2: My work on this game says it's going to be
- 17:49Speaker 2: a 60-plus point game. That gives us at least a
- 17:53Speaker 2: field goal and I think maybe.
- 17:54Speaker 3: A touchdown extra. I like the over. I think that
- 17:58Speaker 3: line is low. Joe?
- 17:59Speaker 4: That's actually– That's interesting, Prez. I am going to go
- 18:05Speaker 4: to Stillwater, and I am going to take the Oregon
- 18:11Speaker 4: team total up and over, Prez, this weekend here. I
- 18:17Speaker 4: do think Oklahoma State's offense will be better. But I
- 18:20Speaker 4: think that scare by Boise State, now Oregon in their
- 18:24Speaker 4: first road game, not an easy place to play.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I think they could get to 40. I think they're
- 18:30Speaker 1: going to get some points here.
- 18:31Speaker 4: And they're not going to win 73-3 or whatever the
- 18:35Speaker 4: hell it was last year. But I do think points
- 18:38Speaker 4: will certainly be coming from Oregon in this one because
- 18:41Speaker 4: that defense, a lot of question marks still there for
- 18:44Speaker 4: Oklahoma State.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that call. We're on the same page.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Art, what do you got for us, College Football Week 2?
- 18:52Speaker 5: Well, like I like to do, which I was doing
- 18:55Speaker 5: earlier in the week, always trying to give moves. And
- 18:57Speaker 5: I got four more that have moved and have just seen,
- 18:59Speaker 5: you know, basically sharp money that comes in. You saw
- 19:02Speaker 5: money come in on the Duke under, money come in
- 19:04Speaker 5: on the UConn under. Mentioned that Georgia Tech game. There
- 19:08Speaker 5: was money on Georgia Tech early at 13.5. Ohio went
- 19:10Speaker 5: from 2 to 3. A game that we mentioned maybe
- 19:14Speaker 5: Monday or Tuesday on the show, Air Force took a
- 19:16Speaker 5: ton of money at 5.5.
- 19:18Speaker 6: Now 2.5.
- 19:19Speaker 5: I think now the value is on North Dakota State.
- 19:21Speaker 6: Now they're under a field goal.
- 19:22Speaker 5: I know it's really hard to prepare for a team
- 19:24Speaker 5: like Air Force, but now that number is totally out
- 19:28Speaker 5: of whack. So I think now you're going to see
- 19:30Speaker 5: the buyback come, and maybe that game gets pushed to 3, 3.5.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Like it.
- 19:32Speaker 1: There we go.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Guys, Survivor, what I want to do with Survivor is
- 19:40Speaker 2: really talk conceptually first, just to let everybody know the
- 19:44Speaker 2: three of us are in the Circus Survivor contest.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I'm also in the Circus Survivor.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Contest by myself, and I have like five teams in
- 19:54Speaker 2: a big splash.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Contest.
- 19:57Speaker 3: So I'm all over the map with Survivor. But what
- 20:00Speaker 3: I want to ask both of you guys, and I'll
- 20:01Speaker 3: start with you, Art, is.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Do you subscribe to the theory of mapping out the
- 20:06Speaker 2: entire year? Now, I understand in the circle we need
- 20:10Speaker 2: to hold teams for Thanksgiving and for Christmas.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I respect that. However.
- 20:16Speaker 2: I do not agree with charting out the entire year
- 20:20Speaker 2: unless you want to have an incredible chart of the
- 20:24Speaker 2: entire year when you're knocked out in week three. I
- 20:27Speaker 2: believe we have to focus on getting through each week.
- 20:30Speaker 2: We will worry about the other stuff later. For all
- 20:33Speaker 2: we know, we hold Kansas City for week 14 and
- 20:36Speaker 2: Pat Mahomes is injured. So I really want to focus
- 20:42Speaker 2: on just getting through each week. With that said, I
- 20:47Speaker 2: am taking Vegas in one of my picks, and that
- 20:52Speaker 2: goes against that. But given that I have a bunch
- 20:54Speaker 2: of picks, I think Vegas is probably the most strategically
- 20:59Speaker 2: correct pick. But my suggestion for the Circa would be
- 21:04Speaker 2: to take Jacksonville or the LA Chargers.
- 21:06Speaker 6: Art?
- 21:08Speaker 5: I probably subscribe more to where you're at, Prez, where
- 21:10Speaker 5: I just want to get through the week and I'll
- 21:12Speaker 5: worry about Christmas and Thanksgiving when we get there. We're
- 21:15Speaker 5: not even guaranteed to get there. So, hey, let's now
- 21:17Speaker 5: you do have to keep that in mind because you
- 21:20Speaker 5: can't get to those weeks. You have no teams to
- 21:21Speaker 5: play because then you're automatically out.
- 21:23Speaker 6: But I'm with you.
- 21:24Speaker 5: I think if you just look at the board this week,
- 21:26Speaker 5: you say, hey, Jacksonville is the easiest play.
- 21:28Speaker 6: We'll move on to week two.
- 21:29Speaker 5: So I'm more of that philosophy and kind of siding
- 21:32Speaker 5: with you, Prez.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Joe, I'd like to end this segment with our actual
- 21:37Speaker 2: survivor pick. So what are your thoughts conceptually and what
- 21:40Speaker 2: is your thoughts for a survivor pick?
- 21:43Speaker 4: I have no interest in backing a big favorite in
- 21:47Speaker 4: week one.
- 21:49Speaker 1: And watch it lose.
- 21:50Speaker 4: And because we have overestimated everything in the world on
- 21:55Speaker 4: teams like Jacksonville, who we expect is just somehow going
- 21:59Speaker 4: to roll over a Browns team that we don't know
- 22:03Speaker 4: an awful lot about.
- 22:04Speaker 1: Oh, no, we do.
- 22:05Speaker 4: Yeah, the defense is going to be really good. So
- 22:08Speaker 4: that's the problem I have with early picks, just assuming
- 22:12Speaker 4: big favorites are going to roll. And so I would
- 22:16Speaker 4: much rather go with what I know. And there are
- 22:20Speaker 4: certain teams I feel that are just better than the
- 22:23Speaker 4: teams they're playing.
- 22:24Speaker 1: It's not about getting cute, but it's.
- 22:26Speaker 4: About being practical because I wouldn't be able to a
- 22:30Speaker 4: lot of sleepless nights. If I'm taking a nine or
- 22:33Speaker 4: eight point favorite and they lose outright, I would, I'd
- 22:37Speaker 4: have a hard time showing up on Monday after that happens.
- 22:41Speaker 2: And it did happen three years ago with the LA Chargers.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Chargers, yes. Yes, it did.
- 22:48Speaker 3: So where are.
- 22:49Speaker 2: We going, guys? We need a survivor pick. We are
- 22:53Speaker 2: doing it live on air. What is our pick going
- 22:56Speaker 2: to be?
- 23:00Speaker 1: I would look at Chicago.
- 23:03Speaker 3: No chance. I am vetoing a road team. No veto.
- 23:08Speaker 3: We are loud vetoes.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:11Speaker 6: I'm with you, Prez. I'm vetoing that as well.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 23:14Speaker 3: You want to go with Pittsburgh and risk that? I wouldn't.
- 23:18Speaker 2: They got Cleveland at home at some point.
- 23:20Speaker 3: In the season.
- 23:22Speaker 4: Oof.
- 23:22Speaker 3: You want to go with the Lions? No, you don't
- 23:24Speaker 3: want to do that.
- 23:25Speaker 6: No, I'm scared of the Lions. I'm more scared of
- 23:27Speaker 6: the Lions than I am the Jaguars.
- 23:30Speaker 2: So where are we going to go here, Joe? I
- 23:33Speaker 2: am vetoing your Chicago pick. Frankly, I'd rather have Carolina.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Then give me Dallas.
- 23:42Speaker 6: Okay, listen, you know I like the Giants, but.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Another road division road team to start Survivor? We're going
- 23:49Speaker 2: to find better spots for Dallas. How about at home
- 23:52Speaker 2: against the Giants?
- 23:53Speaker 1: How about Denver?
- 23:57Speaker 3: Are you out of your mind? Can we do this
- 23:59Speaker 3: without Joe? That was good, Joe.
- 24:03Speaker 6: That was good. That's phenomenal. How about Denver?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:09Speaker 6: Denver it is.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Denver it is. We're all on Denver. We are all
- 24:15Speaker 1: on Denver.
- 24:16Speaker 6: That's amazing.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I'm willing to not do the Jags, but how about,
- 24:21Speaker 2: can we go? I know you don't want to.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Give me the Bengals. No, honestly, give me the Bengals.
- 24:27Speaker 2: They've got Cleveland at home this year.
- 24:30Speaker 4: I don't know why you're assuming Cleveland is going 0-16
- 24:33Speaker 4: this year.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Can we see.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Cleveland with a new head coach and a defense that's
- 24:40Speaker 4: carrying a whole lot better pieces than people realize?
- 24:44Speaker 3: Yeah, with that said, you got it. Baker Mayfield coming
- 24:47Speaker 3: in with a chip on his shoulder.
- 24:49Speaker 1: He got paid. There's no chip. He got paid.
- 24:52Speaker 4: He just got his $ 180 million.
- 24:54Speaker 1: There is no more chip.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Hold on, hold on, hold on. We all like this
- 24:59Speaker 5: in the contest. Do we just roll the dice and
- 25:00Speaker 5: take the Raiders?
- 25:03Speaker 3: I'm okay. I would rather the Raiders than Cincinnati.
- 25:08Speaker 4: The Raiders play Arizona in week six.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I mean, come on. You can't have it both ways.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Well, they play Miami now, Joe, and I think Miami's
- 25:17Speaker 2: even worse.
- 25:18Speaker 1: I think they're underrated.
- 25:21Speaker 3: How are we ever going to agree?
- 25:23Speaker 1: This is week one.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Oh, my Lord.
- 25:26Speaker 1: We're not. Denver it is.
- 25:31Speaker 3: We're going to have to go with a two out
- 25:32Speaker 3: of three. Art, where are we going in Survivor?
- 25:37Speaker 6: I'm with you, Press. I think Jacksonville.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Joe, you have been outvoted.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I am not.
- 25:43Speaker 4: I will take the Raiders before I take Jacksonville.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Well, you'll take the Raiders next week.
- 25:51Speaker 6: Okay.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I mean, we have to figure out. We can't be unanimous, Joe. Joe,
- 25:56Speaker 2: I'm prepared to allow you to pick between Jacksonville.
- 25:59Speaker 3: And the Chargers.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Not picking the two biggest favorites on board. Absolutely not.
- 26:06Speaker 3: So what do we do here, Art?
- 26:07Speaker 4: Pick the team that's better than the other team here
- 26:10Speaker 4: that's not ridiculous and would be a total upset and
- 26:14Speaker 4: sleepless nights.
- 26:16Speaker 3: I'm good with Vegas.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I'm all right with the Raiders here, but I'm telling you.
- 26:24Speaker 1: And I don't want to burn the charges now. Yeah.
- 26:31Speaker 6: Well, listen, we're rolling dice then, Raiders.
- 26:35Speaker 1: I don't know how much of a dice roll that
- 26:36Speaker 1: really is, though.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Raiders it is. Okay.
- 26:40Speaker 1: All right.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Gentlemen, MLB rundown.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Go. There's only five games on the board here. It's
- 26:50Speaker 1: not really. I mean, Prez, shoot. What do we got?
- 26:53Speaker 1: Seattle and Texas.
- 26:54Speaker 4: DeGrom versus Gilbert coming up at 4 o'clock.
- 26:58Speaker 1: What do you think of that one there?
- 27:01Speaker 6: Low total. I like the low total in that game.
- 27:03Speaker 6: Even though it's 6.5, I'll take the other.
- 27:05Speaker 1: God, that's crazy. Logan Gilbert at home has been better than.
- 27:10Speaker 4: Colorado and the Yankees freed against Feltner. Yankees got it
- 27:13Speaker 4: done again last night. Judge got a couple of hits.
- 27:16Speaker 1: What are we thinking?
- 27:17Speaker 6: Yankees are winning, and they're winning on the run line,
- 27:19Speaker 6: which is never good for sportsbooks. Probably continues. The Rockies
- 27:23Speaker 6: are bad.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:24Speaker 4: Jones versus Smith. White Sox can't get out of their
- 27:28Speaker 4: own way.
- 27:28Speaker 1: What are we thinking?
- 27:29Speaker 4: No.
- 27:30Speaker 6: I like the White Sox in the game.
- 27:31Speaker 5: The Sharps agree. The Sharps were awful yesterday. They were
- 27:34Speaker 5: 0-3 with the picks that I gave out with the Sharps.
- 27:36Speaker 6: White Sox need the game. Like I said, Guardians are
- 27:38Speaker 6: on their heels.
- 27:40Speaker 4: Yep, and that's it. That is your Major League Baseball
- 27:42Speaker 4: Rundown Press.
- 27:44Speaker 3: There we go, guys.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Mailbag section. The LaFranchise likes that things got a little
- 27:51Speaker 2: saucy yesterday in the NFL side segment. Imagine how you'll
- 27:54Speaker 2: feel about our survivor segment. It reminded him of the
- 27:59Speaker 2: present Teddy Dustup.
- 28:01Speaker 6: No, no, no, no.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Nothing was like.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Teddy was legitimately mad at me all the time.
- 28:07Speaker 3: Did you see.
- 28:08Speaker 6: My response to that, Prez?
- 28:10Speaker 3: No, what did you say?
- 28:12Speaker 6: I said it was like Hagler and Hearns.
- 28:14Speaker 4: You two slugging it out.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Dave Turkarski, Jackson Dart is one concussion away from trouble.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Art, are you buying into Jackson Dart? He's not one
- 28:29Speaker 3: concussion away. He's away.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Listen, lifelong Giant fan, I like what I've seen out
- 28:36Speaker 5: of Dart. I need to see a lot more. You know,
- 28:38Speaker 5: he's played 10 games. I'm not putting him in the
- 28:40Speaker 5: Hall of Fame yet, but he does have some tendencies
- 28:43Speaker 5: that you don't like where he doesn't run out of bounds.
- 28:45Speaker 5: He doesn't slide. And when they can take shots at
- 28:48Speaker 5: you in the NFL, they're going to do that. So
- 28:51Speaker 5: I'd like him to learn that part of the game.
- 28:53Speaker 5: And I like the swagger and I like everything he's
- 28:55Speaker 5: got seems to be loved in the locker room. All
- 28:57Speaker 5: this guys love them. I think that's important.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Uh, Andrew Wodge. He, I like, I just want to
- 29:06Speaker 3: say Andrew Wodge, shout out to you, my brother.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Thanks for always being a listener and a great friend
- 29:11Speaker 2: to wager talk.
- 29:13Speaker 3: John writes, love the show.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Well, it was great. I only harass Prez because it's fun. Listen,
- 29:18Speaker 2: everybody only harasses Prez because it's fun. If it wasn't fun,
- 29:22Speaker 2: why would you waste your time doing anything? I harassed
- 29:25Speaker 2: Prez because it's fun and I'm an easily harassable dude.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Pile on baby.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Just so long as you comment. And for the rest
- 29:35Speaker 2: of you guys, Oh, and this guy uh writes uh
- 29:38Speaker 2: i love this shane ralph michaels picks clemson ha ha
- 29:42Speaker 2: ha yes ralph michaels picked clemson i'm so glad you're
- 29:48Speaker 2: laughing in his face behind your keyboard clemson so you
- 29:52Speaker 2: Violent keyboard warrior you.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Okay.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Why?
- 29:56Speaker 4: Because Clemson's not going to win a game this year?
- 29:59Speaker 4: Is that that hot take that he came up with?
- 30:04Speaker 4: Are they playing LSU again? Or what did I miss here?
- 30:06Speaker 6: No?
- 30:06Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Do you have any magic mushrooms for today, Joe?
- 30:13Speaker 1: Maybe tomorrow.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Can you get us some mushrooms?
- 30:15Speaker 1: We wasn't enough. We wasn't strong enough. Yeah, circle that.
- 30:20Speaker 4: So when Clemson wins 68 to nothing at home this weekend,
- 30:23Speaker 4: we can come back to it.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Ha ha.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Ha ha.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Okay. Great show, everybody. Thanks for watching the best betting
- 30:31Speaker 3: show ever. Hit the like button. Subscribe to our channel.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Comment, comment, comment, comment, comment.
- 30:35Speaker 2: And make sure to purchase my NFL, please, because it's
- 30:40Speaker 2: going to be a hell of a season.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Guys, thanks for watching.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Denver it is. Yeah.
