Latest / Early Edition with Ryan Bridge / Ryan Bridge: Donald Trump will win the US Presidential Election
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Of course Donald Trump is going to win the US election.
- 0:02Speaker 1: Of course he is. I've been saying that since July
- 0:05Speaker 1: on this program, not that anyone will listen to me.
- 0:07Speaker 1: He would have also, by the way, would have whipped
- 0:10Speaker 1: Biden like a bottle of cream. Too many Americans are
- 0:12Speaker 1: hurting with the cost of living, and that's all the
- 0:14Speaker 1: motivation you need really to get out and vote, isn't it.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Republicans are doing it early in record numbers, which they
- 0:20Speaker 1: don't normally do, including in the swing states. In Georgia,
- 0:23Speaker 1: half of the eight million eligible voters there went early,
- 0:26Speaker 1: which is astonishing. They also included seven hundred thousand people
- 0:31Speaker 1: who never voted in twenty twenty. Now, why would they
- 0:35Speaker 1: be voting this time around? You could say it might
- 0:37Speaker 1: be the fact it's a female, a woman of color,
- 0:40Speaker 1: that they wanted to elect, but the polls show the
- 0:43Speaker 1: more likely motivation is financial. You feel poor, pissed off,
- 0:48Speaker 1: and you vote the current lot out, be it Biden
- 0:51Speaker 1: or Harris. Plus, Harris hasn't helped herself swearing black and
- 0:54Speaker 1: blue that Biden nomics is working when people know in
- 0:57Speaker 1: their pockets that it's not blindly defending Biden's mental state
- 1:01Speaker 1: despite everyone thinking he's gone do Lali and it's sort
- 1:06Speaker 1: of reminiscent actually that of just Cindra A Durn. Remember
- 1:08Speaker 1: here she refused to call the cost of living crisis
- 1:11Speaker 1: a crisis, despite the fact it's like the toughest economic
- 1:14Speaker 1: period in a generation. It enrages people when you do that,
- 1:18Speaker 1: and calling Trump a Nazi or a fascist isn't going
- 1:21Speaker 1: to stop him, because people don't vote for Trump because
- 1:23Speaker 1: he's a saint. Do they Add to that the fact
- 1:27Speaker 1: that the markets are pricing in a Trump victory, the
- 1:29Speaker 1: fact he always does better on election day than in
- 1:32Speaker 1: the polls because his voters don't like polsters, and that
- 1:34Speaker 1: while he's not ahead in the popular vote, his polling
- 1:38Speaker 1: now is higher at the stage of the campaign than
- 1:42Speaker 1: when he won in twenty sixteen. Add those things together
- 1:46Speaker 1: you have a pretty strong case. I think that Donald
- 1:49Speaker 1: Trump is going to take back the White House this week.
