- 0:00Speaker 1: I'm Tameka D. Mallory.
- 0:01Speaker 2: And it's your boy, Myson the General.
- 0:03Speaker 3: We are your host of TMI.
- 0:05Speaker 4: Tameka and Myson's information, truth, motivation, and inspiration.
- 0:09Speaker 1: New name, new energy, but.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Same old us.
- 0:14Speaker 5: All right, Myson, so... What's at stake? What's at stake?
- 0:17Speaker 5: What's at stake? We have made it to Florida.
- 0:22Speaker 3: And, you know, being on the ground here for the
- 0:24Speaker 3: last few days, it really has crystallized why it was
- 0:28Speaker 3: so important for us to do this show and to
- 0:31Speaker 3: focus for the last several weeks on what's at stake
- 0:35Speaker 3: in the midterm elections. And as I have been speaking
- 0:39Speaker 3: in multiple places across the South Florida, Riviera Beach and
- 0:44Speaker 3: other areas, Palm Beach area of Florida. What we have
- 0:48Speaker 3: really found is that people are motivated. They are excited
- 0:53Speaker 3: and they're connecting this election directly to their everyday lives.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Sometimes elections become sort of like an abstract thing that
- 1:01Speaker 3: you just know you're supposed to do it. But this
- 1:04Speaker 3: particular midterm time is very, very, very focused for folks
- 1:10Speaker 3: on their day to day, how they're eating, how they're surviving,
- 1:14Speaker 3: how they're.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Taking care of themselves, their families. And even their neighbors.
- 1:18Speaker 3: And so I've been happy that we're not going into
- 1:21Speaker 3: places having to convince people that they need to vote. Really,
- 1:25Speaker 3: it's more so, I think, in this particular area in
- 1:28Speaker 3: Florida about ensuring that folks help get other people out.
- 1:33Speaker 3: They are like, yeah, I voted, but this is bigger
- 1:36Speaker 3: than just you and your one vote. And, you know,
- 1:39Speaker 3: and I think we're doing a good job of, you know,
- 1:42Speaker 3: of making that happen and having those conversations with folks.
- 1:45Speaker 5: So I don't know about you, but I'm.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Definitely feeling excited about record turnout that people are going
- 1:52Speaker 3: to show up and they're going to organize their communities
- 1:55Speaker 3: to get out to vote as well.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm absolutely excited.
- 2:00Speaker 4: You know, just the groundswell and the energy on the
- 2:03Speaker 4: ground for me has just been enormous. You know, watching
- 2:07Speaker 4: these campaigns and just understanding how a lot of our
- 2:10Speaker 4: people have felt like their votes haven't been counted for
- 2:12Speaker 4: a long time. I just don't get that sentiment now.
- 2:15Speaker 4: I think that people understand the seriousness of the times
- 2:18Speaker 4: we're in, especially here in Florida. As we move around
- 2:22Speaker 4: and we speak to a lot of people, they seem
- 2:24Speaker 4: like they really are gravitating.
- 2:27Speaker 2: To the energy and they realize what time it is.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Like you said, you've been speaking, you've been to some churches,
- 2:32Speaker 4: and a lot of your messaging has been resonating with them.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Not just you, not just your vote is going to count,
- 2:39Speaker 4: is going to take. You bringing 10 and 15 of
- 2:41Speaker 4: your friends. And I think that's what we all understand.
- 2:43Speaker 4: You know, before I left New York City, I went
- 2:46Speaker 4: out and voted. You know, we had our national Black
- 2:49Speaker 4: Men Vote Day. on October 24th and made my vote count.
- 2:54Speaker 4: And I've seen a lot of energy there. A lot
- 2:56Speaker 4: of people just realized the times we're in. So I'm excited.
- 3:00Speaker 2: We know we still got work to do.
- 3:02Speaker 4: There's still seven more days to the election. But what
- 3:05Speaker 4: we've seen the past three days has given me a
- 3:07Speaker 4: lot of energy to keep on going.
- 3:09Speaker 2: So I'm excited.
- 3:11Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 3:12Speaker 3: You know, I think that, you know, as we are
- 3:14Speaker 3: here in Florida, our organization is here just doing general GOTV,
- 3:19Speaker 3: get out the vote work and just making sure that
- 3:22Speaker 3: people know where to go, what to do. And they
- 3:24Speaker 3: feel encouraged to get to the polls. But personally, personally,
- 3:29Speaker 3: we support Angie Nixon and we happen to go to
- 3:32Speaker 3: a rally where she was yesterday.
- 3:34Speaker 5: And we asked Angie, what's at stake?
- 3:37Speaker 3: In fact, we have some footage of that conversation right
- 3:40Speaker 3: before she spoke at the rally. After I spoke, we
- 3:44Speaker 3: asked her, what's at stake? And she talked about just
- 3:47Speaker 3: everyday lives. She talked about health care. She talked about
- 3:50Speaker 3: the cost being just too high for all the things.
- 3:53Speaker 5: And then when she spoke on stage.
- 3:56Speaker 3: She got into the corruption, the corruption of her opponent,
- 4:02Speaker 3: Ashley Moody, who, you know, I mean, the list goes
- 4:05Speaker 3: on and on. I actually watched Ashley Moody at a
- 4:08Speaker 3: Trump rally talk about the importance of taking care of
- 4:12Speaker 3: the bosses of the corporations.
- 4:14Speaker 5: I mean... That is a hell of a message.
- 4:17Speaker 3: And the people at the rally were shaking their head like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 2: But you know what I think we should do, Tamika?
- 4:24Speaker 4: I think we should actually go to our answer when
- 4:27Speaker 4: you ask her what's her stick and then get a
- 4:29Speaker 4: little bit of footage of her while she's on stage
- 4:32Speaker 4: so the people can see and hear for themselves.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely. So we'll do that.
- 4:37Speaker 3: And then we talk to other people and we'll put
- 4:40Speaker 3: some of that in here as well. We're just bringing
- 4:42Speaker 3: you live what's happening on the ground here in Florida.
- 4:47Speaker 3: And again, folks are really connecting this to their everyday lives.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I appreciated listening to Angie talk about the end to
- 4:57Speaker 3: dropping bombs on children, but giving children health care.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Right.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Like that's the connection. That's the thing that people want
- 5:04Speaker 3: to hear. And I believe that she's going to be
- 5:07Speaker 3: a resounding force. But it's not just Angie. Folks who
- 5:11Speaker 3: are in states across the country, you need to know
- 5:15Speaker 3: this is not a joke. This is this is a
- 5:17Speaker 3: global election. It is not just a national election. What
- 5:22Speaker 3: happens in this country, and of course, Florida being ground
- 5:26Speaker 3: zero and there are other states, what happens here in
- 5:29Speaker 3: America is impacting people.
- 5:31Speaker 5: All over the world.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Costs are high in other places because of what's happening
- 5:37Speaker 3: in the US.
- 5:38Speaker 5: This is a very, very significant and serious election.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I don't know what's going on, but a birdie told
- 5:44Speaker 3: me that in Michigan, Black folks are.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Too high of a number supporting Mike Rogers.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I don't understand it. I'm really confused about how we
- 5:57Speaker 3: with the MAGA man and then complaining about the MAGA policies.
- 6:01Speaker 3: So I'm hoping that it's just that, you know, folks
- 6:04Speaker 3: went out early. Maybe they had some kind of organizing
- 6:07Speaker 3: that they did with the pro-Trumpers and the pro-MAGA people.
- 6:11Speaker 3: And so the Black folks that supported that, they went
- 6:13Speaker 3: out and then the rest of the Black folks are waiting.
- 6:16Speaker 3: till election day or closer, maybe the weekend. I'm praying
- 6:21Speaker 3: that that's what's happening. The thing in Michigan that people
- 6:24Speaker 3: need to know is that you can register and vote
- 6:28Speaker 3: in the same day.
- 6:30Speaker 5: You can register and vote in the same day.
- 6:32Speaker 3: So if we know that the number is a little
- 6:35Speaker 3: bit imbalanced and too high for the MAGA man, then
- 6:39Speaker 3: we need to be registering anybody that we can who
- 6:43Speaker 3: is able to vote and getting them to the polls
- 6:47Speaker 3: so that we can balance the number out.
- 6:49Speaker 5: We cannot lose. Abdul El-Sayed cannot lose.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Because just so people understand, this is not a new
- 6:58Speaker 3: seat that he's trying to win. He is trying to
- 7:01Speaker 3: hold the Democratic seat that already exists in Michigan.
- 7:06Speaker 5: So he can't lose. There's no option here.
- 7:09Speaker 3: The balance of power, it just has to be that
- 7:12Speaker 3: he has to win.
- 7:13Speaker 5: So you might not like what we talk about on
- 7:15Speaker 5: the show all the time, and we'll be done with
- 7:17Speaker 5: this here. You might not like all of his policies.
- 7:20Speaker 3: And there's probably some conversations that really need to happen
- 7:24Speaker 3: because people are feeling a way.
- 7:25Speaker 5: About a lot of things.
- 7:26Speaker 3: This show, we are going to get into the relationship
- 7:30Speaker 3: between Black and Arab communities because I can see that
- 7:34Speaker 3: there is a rift, there's tension. It's justifiable for many
- 7:38Speaker 3: years of things that have happened that has never been addressed.
- 7:42Speaker 3: But we're all finding out that we're in the same
- 7:45Speaker 3: boat together. And so we don't have time to fix
- 7:48Speaker 3: it all in this moment. But what we know is
- 7:50Speaker 3: that the magamania is dangerous and.
- 7:53Speaker 5: They're literally killing us. Like literally, we are dying.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And so we don't have a choice but to make
- 8:00Speaker 3: sure that we send this man to the Senate. We
- 8:03Speaker 3: need to make sure that a sister like Angie Nixon
- 8:05Speaker 3: is elected. And then there are races everywhere. Charles Booker
- 8:09Speaker 3: in Kentucky. Do not forget about Kentucky, folks.
- 8:12Speaker 5: Y'all follow.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Y'all listen to us in Kentucky. This is a serious time.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It's a serious matter. So as you said, check out
- 8:19Speaker 3: some of the audio and the videos of the people,
- 8:23Speaker 3: the rally, the energy is there.
- 8:25Speaker 5: The wind is in our backs. We just have to
- 8:28Speaker 5: seize the moment.
- 8:30Speaker 4: And we definitely do. You know, I definitely understand how important.
- 8:33Speaker 4: All of these races are. We talk about Michigan. Like
- 8:36Speaker 4: you said, we can't ignore that there are disputes between
- 8:39Speaker 4: the Black and Arab communities, but we have to understand
- 8:41Speaker 4: that we struggle together in a part. And the disputes
- 8:44Speaker 4: that we have between our communities are nothing compared to
- 8:48Speaker 4: the disputes that we have with MAGA. You know, we don't,
- 8:50Speaker 4: we don't allow this bag on anything at all. We
- 8:53Speaker 4: might have different cultures inside of with, you know, with
- 8:56Speaker 4: Arabs and Blacks, but we all want the same thing.
- 8:58Speaker 4: We all want justice. We all want equity. We all
- 9:01Speaker 4: want health care. We all want to have livable wages.
- 9:03Speaker 4: Those are things that we all agree on. Don't let
- 9:05Speaker 4: the things, the one or two things that we disagree on,
- 9:08Speaker 4: you know, make us divide in a time that we
- 9:11Speaker 4: support the person that we don't agree on nothing.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 9:15Speaker 3: With that being said, you closed, but I just want
- 9:17Speaker 3: to say that our favorite Arab.
- 9:20Speaker 5: Our favorite Arab person.
- 9:23Speaker 1: That's right.
- 9:24Speaker 3: The Linda Sarsour.
- 9:26Speaker 1: That's right.
- 9:27Speaker 2: My sister.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Love our sister.
- 9:29Speaker 3: And we got to say happy birthday to our co-founder,
- 9:33Speaker 3: Until Freedom, Angelo Pinto, who is getting old with us.
- 9:39Speaker 5: We all getting old. Do you know Angelo's 44 years old? Oh,
- 9:42Speaker 5: my God.
- 9:42Speaker 4: 44.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Come on, baby. 44. 44.
- 9:47Speaker 5: 444.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Let's go. Happy birthday, Angela. We love you.
- 9:51Speaker 6: People's livelihoods i mean our net worth is the gap
- 9:56Speaker 6: between black folks and white folks as far.
- 9:59Speaker 1: As net worth is continuing to grow people's lives because
- 10:02Speaker 1: health care is being.
- 10:07Speaker 6: The country's history under this administration.
- 10:11Speaker 5: It's just, yeah, people's lives.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And so I have been traveling.
- 10:16Speaker 6: I've had the opportunity to travel all across the great
- 10:20Speaker 6: state of Florida, having conversations. I can't even say with
- 10:23Speaker 6: tens of thousands of people anymore, but with millions of
- 10:27Speaker 6: people all across this state, having conversations with people like
- 10:31Speaker 6: the young woman in Lauderdale Lakes, who who told me
- 10:36Speaker 6: that she was diagnosed a few years ago with breast cancer,
- 10:41Speaker 6: with stage three breast cancer. And the government stepped in
- 10:45Speaker 6: and they allowed her to gain access to Medicaid. And
- 10:49Speaker 6: so she was going into remission and she had to
- 10:53Speaker 6: go out on disability and she was on social security
- 10:56Speaker 6: and they were paying for her food stamps and everything
- 10:59Speaker 6: like that. But then that.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Big BS bill came into play.
- 11:06Speaker 6: And this administration came in and instead of her stage
- 11:10Speaker 6: three breast cancer fully going into remission, it now became
- 11:14Speaker 6: stage four because they started denying her some of the
- 11:17Speaker 6: life-saving medical treatment that she needed. They started denying her
- 11:22Speaker 6: some of the prescription drugs that she needed. And then
- 11:24Speaker 6: on top of that, they cut her food stamps knowing
- 11:27Speaker 6: good and well that she cannot go to work in
- 11:30Speaker 6: the current state that she's in. And so I tell y'all,
- 11:34Speaker 6: that this election has dire consequences if we don't get
- 11:40Speaker 6: out to vote. It is a life or death situation
- 11:43Speaker 6: because people like Ashley Moody.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Let me, let me, okay, I'm sorry. I messed up.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I messed up. Hold on. People like lying, cheating, scheming, scamming,
- 11:59Speaker 1: seeing Ashley Moody.
- 12:05Speaker 6: People like Ashley Mooney decided to vote to offer up
- 12:10Speaker 6: the largest Medicaid cut in history.
- 12:15Speaker 1: There are literally people who are going to die because
- 12:19Speaker 1: Donald Trump wanted to give the ultra wealthy.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Billionaires and ultra wealthy millionaires who are now trying to
- 12:28Speaker 6: become trillionaires the opportunity to get.
- 12:32Speaker 1: A massive tax break. It is all a scam. It
- 12:39Speaker 1: is the largest grip that.
- 12:40Speaker 6: We have ever seen in our modern day history. And
- 12:46Speaker 6: I just don't understand for the life of me why it's.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Okay for people like Ashley Moody to work less and
- 12:55Speaker 1: less and less and get richer.
- 12:56Speaker 6: But meanwhile, we're working harder than ever and still struggling
- 13:01Speaker 6: just to get by.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I mean, like, this.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Woman is literally trading stocks and has enriched herself by
- 13:12Speaker 6: the tune of $ 2 million since she's been a U.S.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Senator. An unelected U.S. Senator.
- 13:18Speaker 6: Because I want to remind y'all that the only reason
- 13:22Speaker 6: that she is.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Now a U.S. Senator is because she stole $ 10 million
- 13:26Speaker 1: from sick kids.
- 13:30Speaker 6: She stole $ 10 million from sick kids.
- 13:34Speaker 1: And they used that money to take.
- 13:36Speaker 6: It away from the Medicaid program to divert it and
- 13:41Speaker 6: put it into two political slush funds to defeat two
- 13:44Speaker 6: citizen-led ballot initiatives.
- 13:47Speaker 1: One of which would have allowed women the right to
- 13:49Speaker 1: choose what.
- 13:50Speaker 6: To do with their bodies without political interference. And the
- 13:54Speaker 6: other would have called for recreational marijuana.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Of which.
- 14:00Speaker 1: we would have had the opportunity to.
- 14:03Speaker 6: Have another funding source for public education. Right now in
- 14:08Speaker 6: this moment, the point of this administration is cruelty.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Cruelty is the point. They are literally allowing people to.
- 14:18Speaker 6: Die because they don't have enough money to go see
- 14:22Speaker 6: a doctor.
- 14:24Speaker 1: They say it's radical.
- 14:26Speaker 6: And extreme for me to want to have everyone to
- 14:30Speaker 6: have access.
- 14:31Speaker 1: To quality health care. They say it's radical and extreme.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Because I want to make sure that everyone has a
- 14:37Speaker 6: roof over their head. They're saying it's radical and extreme
- 14:42Speaker 6: because I.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Want to make sure that our teachers get a raise
- 14:46Speaker 1: and we have fully funded public education.
- 14:50Speaker 6: There's nothing radical or extreme about that. What is radical
- 14:55Speaker 6: and extreme is the fact that they're.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Spending a billion dollars on a ballroom y'all ain't never
- 14:59Speaker 1: gonna get to dance in. What's radical and extreme.
- 15:03Speaker 6: Is the fact that they're spending billions, billions of dollars
- 15:08Speaker 6: on a war that is only making Donald.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Trump's son-in-law richer.
- 15:14Speaker 6: What's radical and extreme is the fact that they are
- 15:17Speaker 6: defunding public schools so that they can usher our children
- 15:21Speaker 6: into the school to prison pipeline to make more money
- 15:24Speaker 6: off of them being in these for-profit prisons so that
- 15:28Speaker 6: they can cause them to go to work without getting paid.
- 15:33Speaker 1: It sounds like modern day slavery to me. It's shameful. See,
- 15:41Speaker 1: this is.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Not about Republicans versus Democrats versus progressives or moderate or
- 15:47Speaker 6: DSA members. This is about the rich at the top
- 15:52Speaker 6: who are trying to completely decimate and wipe out the
- 15:55Speaker 6: entire middle class.
- 15:59Speaker 1: They want us stressed out. They want us struggling.
- 16:02Speaker 6: They want us fighting amongst each other because it keeps
- 16:06Speaker 6: our eyes.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Off of the fact that they are literally screwing us.
- 16:10Speaker 1: They're screwing us all. Seriously. Somebody say it not in
- 16:15Speaker 1: a good way. Oh, my God. Seriously. I mean, I just,
- 16:27Speaker 1: the gas prices. They too high. The cost of rent.
- 16:33Speaker 6: In this state, over 15% the national average.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Over 15% the national average. The cost... People... Yeah, HOA.
- 16:43Speaker 1: That's why I don't live in HOA. Y'all can have it.
- 16:54Speaker 6: The average age of people to purchase their first home
- 16:57Speaker 6: is now between the ages.
- 16:58Speaker 2: Of 40 and 42.
- 16:59Speaker 6: Me and my husband, we have five kids.
- 17:04Speaker 1: We have a beautiful blended family.
- 17:07Speaker 6: At a minimum, y'all should vote for me because y'all
- 17:10Speaker 6: know I don't want to keep my children in the
- 17:12Speaker 6: house until they're 40 or 42.
- 17:13Speaker 1: So y'all know.
- 17:15Speaker 6: I'm going to go up there and fight hard to
- 17:18Speaker 6: make sure... We have affordable housing so them five kids
- 17:22Speaker 6: can get up off my house.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Seriously. Yes, exactly. Exactly. Look, y'all, it doesn't have to
- 17:32Speaker 1: be this way. It does not have to be this way.
- 17:36Speaker 6: I believe that hardworking everyday people should get to shape
- 17:39Speaker 6: what our communities look like and what our economies look like.
- 17:43Speaker 6: Can you all imagine if regular everyday people got to Washington, D.C.,
- 17:51Speaker 6: the type of policies that would come out. I was
- 17:55Speaker 6: a single mom for 12 years. I know what it's
- 17:59Speaker 6: like to struggle. I know what it's like to have
- 18:01Speaker 6: to make a decision about whether or not I go
- 18:04Speaker 6: buy this albuterol pump and this EpiPen.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Because, see, my daughter is allergic to everything. Almost life. Dogs, cats, shellfish, peanuts.
- 18:17Speaker 1: All fish, outside, life, everything. But no, we're serious.
- 18:28Speaker 6: I know what it's like to have to choose between
- 18:33Speaker 6: whether or not I'm gonna spend $ 100 on this EpiPen
- 18:37Speaker 6: or I'm gonna save that money and just try to
- 18:40Speaker 6: navigate and make sure she doesn't get into anything or
- 18:43Speaker 6: if I'm gonna have enough money to put food on
- 18:46Speaker 6: the table.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And allow her to go on a field trip. Y'all
- 18:55Speaker 1: better vote for me. Y'all heard her. But listen, y'all.
- 19:02Speaker 6: Those are decisions that people have to make each and
- 19:05Speaker 6: every day of the week.
- 19:07Speaker 1: But it shouldn't be that way.
- 19:10Speaker 6: I believe if we started electing people that were like teachers,
- 19:15Speaker 6: we would have a fully funded public school system and
- 19:19Speaker 6: academic freedom.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I believe if we started electing people.
- 19:24Speaker 6: That were parents and sending them to Washington, D.C., we
- 19:27Speaker 6: would have things like universal childcare, which is something I
- 19:31Speaker 6: support because I realize that for every dollar we spend,
- 19:37Speaker 6: we put.
- 19:38Speaker 1: $ 3 back into the economy when in terms of universal
- 19:41Speaker 1: child care because it frees parents up and allows them
- 19:43Speaker 1: to be able to go to work and.
- 19:46Speaker 6: Get more disposable income so that they can spend with
- 19:50Speaker 6: more small business owners and it allows the grandparents to
- 19:54Speaker 6: be able to relax and kick up their feet and
- 19:56Speaker 6: drink margaritas because we don't have to drop them off
- 20:01Speaker 6: all the time but let me be clear y'all need
- 20:04Speaker 6: to keep them kids at least once a week and
- 20:07Speaker 6: one weekend after month Seriously, they.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Keep you so young. They keep you so young.
- 20:13Speaker 6: If we had hardworking everyday people that we sent to Washington, D.C.,
- 20:18Speaker 6: who pushed back and wanted to end the culture of corruption,
- 20:25Speaker 6: I'm sure they would release things like the Epstein file
- 20:31Speaker 6: and hold people accountable for if they were in it
- 20:34Speaker 6: and they.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Did anything wrong.
- 20:36Speaker 6: Y'all know Ashley Mooney around here talking about how I'm
- 20:39Speaker 6: trying to defund the police and abolish, abolish prisons. Why
- 20:44Speaker 6: would I want to do that when I want her
- 20:46Speaker 6: in jail for stealing $ 10 million.
- 20:52Speaker 1: For 15? I mean, honestly. Like, seriously.
- 20:58Speaker 6: I'm just saying. And then, like, I mean, it doesn't
- 21:07Speaker 6: have to be this way, y'all.
- 21:10Speaker 1: It does not have to be this way. We can
- 21:12Speaker 1: have nice things.
- 21:14Speaker 6: We can have a fully solvent social security system. Oh,
- 21:19Speaker 6: y'all don't.
- 21:21Speaker 3: Want social security?
- 21:24Speaker 1: Let me say that again.
- 21:25Speaker 6: We can have a fully solvent social security system. So
- 21:32Speaker 6: that seniors don't have to go back to work. We
- 21:37Speaker 6: can scrap the cap and make the billionaires pay what
- 21:40Speaker 6: they owe. Did y'all know that billionaires stopped paying into
- 21:46Speaker 6: the Social Security system the first few hours of the year?
- 21:49Speaker 6: They need to pay what they owe. Speaking of paying
- 21:54Speaker 6: what they owe.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Everybody deserves a living wage.
- 21:59Speaker 6: Did y'all know that the federal minimum wage.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Is $ 7. 25 an hour? It's shameful.
- 22:07Speaker 6: And though we went up to $ 15 an hour recently,
- 22:10Speaker 6: one of my colleagues in the state legislature is.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Trying to change that.
- 22:14Speaker 6: One of them said paying people $ 15 an hour.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Is destroying the American dream. That's what they think about it.
- 22:26Speaker 1: But on November 3rd, we gonna change all this.
- 22:32Speaker 6: On November 3rd, we are going to elect people who
- 22:37Speaker 6: believe that hardworking everyday people should shape what our communities
- 22:41Speaker 6: look like and what our economies look like. We're going
- 22:45Speaker 6: to start electing people who are going to make sure
- 22:49Speaker 6: that everyone who works hard in this country can afford
- 22:54Speaker 6: to live in this country. We are going to make
- 22:59Speaker 6: sure that we stop sending money to drop bombs on
- 23:04Speaker 6: babies and instead we spend money over here to ensure
- 23:08Speaker 6: we are addressing the issues when it comes to infant
- 23:12Speaker 6: mortality and black maternal health care.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Those are the things that matter.
- 23:21Speaker 6: Did y'all know that like they're scared y'all?
- 23:26Speaker 1: They're scared.
- 23:28Speaker 6: If they weren't scared, they wouldn't be spending over $.
- 23:30Speaker 1: 15 million lying on me on campaign commercials.
- 23:35Speaker 6: If they weren't scared, they wouldn't be lying on me
- 23:39Speaker 6: on these campaign commercials and digging.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Up all kind of stuff. Talking about my husband, my
- 23:46Speaker 1: husband own a mechanic shop and we ain't paying no bit.
- 23:49Speaker 6: First of all, I wish he owned a mechanic shop
- 23:52Speaker 6: because maybe my.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Car would look a lot better than what they look
- 23:55Speaker 1: like right now.
- 23:57Speaker 6: But listen, y'all, they are afraid of regular everyday people
- 24:03Speaker 6: deciding what happens in this country.
- 24:09Speaker 1: But this is our country, too. We should get to
- 24:12Speaker 1: decide what we want this country to be.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Every time we have been faced with oppression in this country,
- 24:22Speaker 6: we have matched it with resistance.
- 24:26Speaker 1: At the very founding of this country, we were faced
- 24:29Speaker 1: with oppression. Let me back up. Even though we are
- 24:33Speaker 1: on stolen land.
- 24:37Speaker 6: But the very founding of this country, that oppression, we.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Matched with resistance.
- 24:43Speaker 6: It was taxation without representation, and we threw tea into
- 24:46Speaker 6: a harbor.
- 24:48Speaker 1: When my family was.
- 24:50Speaker 6: Enslaved, that oppression was matched with resistance.
- 24:55Speaker 1: And it led to the Civil War.
- 24:58Speaker 6: When children were dying in factories and people were losing
- 25:02Speaker 6: their limbs, that oppression was matched with resistance and the
- 25:06Speaker 6: labor movement was born. And it got us 40-hour work
- 25:10Speaker 6: weeks and child labor laws and workplace protections.
- 25:17Speaker 3: When my.
- 25:19Speaker 6: People couldn't eat at the same lunch counters, couldn't vote,
- 25:25Speaker 6: That oppression was matched with resistance and the civil rights
- 25:29Speaker 6: movement was born.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Women's rights. Disability rights.
- 25:37Speaker 6: When those people had to crawl on the Capitol steps
- 25:41Speaker 6: to demand that people living with disabilities were treated with
- 25:45Speaker 6: dignity and respect.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Oppression that we matched with resistance. Stonewall. When they threw
- 25:53Speaker 1: a shoe.
- 25:56Speaker 6: Right now, we are being oppressed whether or not you
- 25:59Speaker 6: want to believe it or not. We are literally in
- 26:03Speaker 6: a civil rights, a human rights moment right now. You
- 26:09Speaker 6: all need to decide what you want your legacies to be.
- 26:14Speaker 1: What do you.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Want your grandkids and your great grandkids to say about
- 26:17Speaker 6: how you showed up in this moment?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Are they going to say that you.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Just let whatever happened to you happen.
- 26:27Speaker 6: Are they going to say that you said, you know,
- 26:30Speaker 6: I don't do politics. But politics doing y'all. It's doing
- 26:38Speaker 6: us at the gas pump. It's doing us in the
- 26:41Speaker 6: grocery store. It's doing us in our Fashion Nova and
- 26:45Speaker 6: Sheen cart. Because everything is going up and they put
- 26:49Speaker 6: working family taxes on us in the form of terror.
- 26:54Speaker 6: Or are they going to say that you locked on
- 26:59Speaker 6: and you were not passive allies but willful accomplices in
- 27:03Speaker 6: this fight for the justice and liberation of our people.
- 27:08Speaker 6: Because right now we are in a battle for the soul.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And humanity of our country.
- 27:16Speaker 6: Right now they are returning us back to the worst
- 27:19Speaker 6: chapters of our history. Right now, we are dealing with
- 27:24Speaker 6: a man that is over the Department of Defense that
- 27:27Speaker 6: he renamed the Department of War because they made more
- 27:30Speaker 6: money when we sent our troops overseas for war and
- 27:36Speaker 6: that man wanted to live stream in execution.
- 27:42Speaker 1: They wanted to live stream in execution.
- 27:46Speaker 6: It sounds like lynching pigments to me. Returning us back
- 27:53Speaker 6: to the worst chapters of our history.
- 27:56Speaker 1: But that's why we have to get to work.
- 28:01Speaker 6: I love my forever first lady Michelle Obama.
- 28:03Speaker 1: But I know she said when they go low, we
- 28:10Speaker 1: go high. I'm saying... I didn't say that.
- 28:21Speaker 6: I didn't say that. I'm saying when they go low,
- 28:26Speaker 6: we get loud. And we organize harder and stronger. And
- 28:32Speaker 6: we mobilize and we take it to the street.
- 28:35Speaker 1: And we hit them where they money is. We look into.
- 28:39Speaker 6: Doing mass boycotts and mass strikes if have to. When
- 28:43Speaker 6: we organized recently and pushed back against them wanting to
- 28:48Speaker 6: live stream their execution, Donald Trump said, oh no, I
- 28:53Speaker 6: don't want that smoke.
- 28:56Speaker 1: And he stopped it. He said it's not happening.
- 29:00Speaker 6: That's what happens when the people get organized. And so
- 29:04Speaker 6: right now in this moment, I am telling you, it
- 29:07Speaker 6: is not just about voting.
- 29:10Speaker 1: It's voting and.
- 29:13Speaker 6: It's voting and holding these elected officials accountable, even if they.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Look like me.
- 29:19Speaker 7: It's voting and holding the elected officials accountable, even if
- 29:24Speaker 7: they're Democrats like me. It's voting and demanding that they
- 29:32Speaker 7: pass a people's budget.
- 29:34Speaker 1: That you all want to see.
- 29:35Speaker 6: You should get to decide what you want.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Your taxpayer dollars. spent on.
- 29:41Speaker 6: It's voting and making sure that they pass a people's agenda.
- 29:47Speaker 6: Because you all should decide the types of policies that
- 29:50Speaker 6: you want to.
- 29:52Speaker 1: See be put into place. Y'all need to start demanding that.
- 29:58Speaker 1: That's what we should do.
- 30:00Speaker 6: Don't let politicians come into your neighborhood and say, hey,
- 30:03Speaker 6: I'm going to do this for you.
- 30:04Speaker 1: You should know this is what I want you to
- 30:06Speaker 1: do for us.
- 30:09Speaker 6: We work for you. You all are our bosses. That's
- 30:14Speaker 6: how this should work. Do y'all understand? That's what organizing is.
- 30:21Speaker 6: I need y'all to sign up. It's great we're out here.
- 30:27Speaker 6: But it would be even greater if each one of
- 30:29Speaker 6: you all knocked the door if you could.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Knocked several doors. This is Team Angie. Before you leave,
- 30:37Speaker 1: you need.
- 30:37Speaker 6: To sign up for a shift. We need you all
- 30:40Speaker 6: to sign up for a shift. We don't want to
- 30:42Speaker 6: wake up on November 4th and say, shoulda.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Woulda, coulda.
- 30:48Speaker 6: We don't want to wake up on November 4th and say, shoulda, woulda, coulda.
- 30:53Speaker 6: We also need your time, your talent. So we need,
- 30:56Speaker 6: I just said we need your time.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Doors, phone calls, texting, showing up at events, acting as
- 31:04Speaker 1: a surrogate, passing out licks. We need your talent. Whatever
- 31:07Speaker 1: you're good at, bring it to the campaign. There's a
- 31:09Speaker 1: woman by the name of Ms. Laura Sue. She sings
- 31:13Speaker 1: songs and plays her ukulele when we have different events.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That's her talent that she brings to the campaign. Whatever
- 31:19Speaker 1: you're good at, we need it.
- 31:22Speaker 6: And finally, in Cindy Marsh's collard greens.
- 31:27Speaker 1: She cooks collard greens.
- 31:29Speaker 6: Y'all know in the civil rights era, people did different things.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Everybody did protests. Some people drove cars. Some people cooked.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I can't cook. It wouldn't be me. So whatever you're
- 31:40Speaker 1: good at, bring it to the campaign. Finally, we need
- 31:44Speaker 1: your treasure. That's right. I need you all to donate.
- 31:48Speaker 1: If you donated already, I need you to donate again.
- 31:50Speaker 6: That's right.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Donate again. You ain't got to drink that mocha latte
- 31:57Speaker 1: this week. Put it to the campaign. Help us go
- 32:02Speaker 1: up on commercials even more. Put it on the campaign.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Put $ 5 on it.
- 32:10Speaker 6: It's almost $ 5.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Take a gas in the gas tank. Y'all see I'm
- 32:15Speaker 1: driving around in the van, y'all. I can't fly like
- 32:18Speaker 1: I want. It's a people power campaign. So time, talent, treasure.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Go to AngieNixon.com, sign up. Look, y'all. Did y'all know J.D.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Vance told me to lead this country? That man told
- 32:35Speaker 1: me to lead this country. I don't have the right
- 32:37Speaker 1: to be here.
- 32:38Speaker 6: I need to get the hell out of here is
- 32:40Speaker 6: what he said. The audacity when my people help build
- 32:43Speaker 6: this thing. But listen, I need y'all help to combat
- 32:49Speaker 6: this disinformation.
- 32:51Speaker 1: But at the end of.
- 32:52Speaker 6: The day, Donald Trump can call me whatever he wants
- 32:55Speaker 6: to call me.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Ashley Moody, J.D.
- 32:56Speaker 6: Vance with his eyeliner, they can say whatever they want
- 33:01Speaker 6: to say. But with your help come November 3rd, they
- 33:05Speaker 6: will be calling me senator. And so again, we are
- 33:16Speaker 6: in a battle for.
- 33:17Speaker 1: The soul and the humanity of our country.
- 33:21Speaker 6: But every time we fight, we.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Win. Every time we fight, we win. So when we fight,
- 33:32Speaker 1: we win. When we fight, we win.
- 33:35Speaker 3: When we fight, we win.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Let's go win. Brothers and sisters, you've heard of Fannie
- 33:45Speaker 1: Lou Hamer. That's Tamika. You've heard of Harriet Tubman. That's Tamika.
- 33:52Speaker 6: You've heard of all the great leaders, Rosa Parks.
- 33:56Speaker 1: That's Tamika. But let me go to the scripture. You've
- 33:59Speaker 1: heard of Naomi, Esther, and Ruth. That's Tamika.
- 34:03Speaker 6: Brothers and sisters, give it up for the one and
- 34:06Speaker 6: only Tamika Mallory.
- 34:11Speaker 1: So thank you so much. Bishop Masters Florida, are you
- 34:16Speaker 1: fired up? Are you fired up? Are you ready to go?
- 34:22Speaker 3: Are you ready to vote? How many of you have
- 34:25Speaker 3: already voted? Oh my, my, my, that's good. Because that
- 34:30Speaker 3: is right around the message that I have, which is
- 34:33Speaker 3: you've already voted, now what you going to do about
- 34:36Speaker 3: everybody else in your community? Brothers and sisters, I have
- 34:43Speaker 3: traveled from New York City alongside my entire crew at
- 34:48Speaker 3: Until Freedom because we came to make sure that all
- 34:54Speaker 3: of us understand how important Florida is right now to
- 34:59Speaker 3: the rest of the country. Not only are you important
- 35:03Speaker 3: to the rest of the country, What happens here in
- 35:07Speaker 3: Florida will shake the ground around the world. The entire
- 35:14Speaker 3: world will feel what you all do here in Florida.
- 35:19Speaker 3: And while my organization, Until Freedom, is here to do
- 35:23Speaker 3: general get-out-the-vote work to make sure that we take people
- 35:28Speaker 3: back and forth to the polls... and that we encourage
- 35:31Speaker 3: our people to see the global nature of this fight.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I personally am here today because I am telling you
- 35:41Speaker 3: that we are in a battle cry during a state
- 35:45Speaker 3: of emergency, and the only person that can help us
- 35:50Speaker 3: is our sister Angie Nixon, who we know, who we know,
- 35:58Speaker 3: will go to Washington, D.C. and to Tallahassee, Florida, and
- 36:05Speaker 3: she will make the case on behalf of the persecuted
- 36:08Speaker 3: and the executed. She will make the case on behalf
- 36:13Speaker 3: of baby Cohen Wiley, a one-year-old child shot through his
- 36:17Speaker 3: tiny body by a wicked cop. She will make the
- 36:22Speaker 3: case on behalf of women and men and boys and
- 36:26Speaker 3: girls who have access to guns but no access to
- 36:29Speaker 3: health care. She will make the case on behalf of
- 36:34Speaker 3: women and men and.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Elderly people who are hungry.
- 36:37Speaker 3: She will make the case on behalf of people all
- 36:41Speaker 3: the way in Palestine and in the Congo. She will
- 36:46Speaker 3: make the case on behalf of all.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Of us who are.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Standing here today. There is no other choice. There is
- 36:56Speaker 3: no other choice. Angie Nixon must go to the Senate.
- 37:05Speaker 1: We need vanguards for justice. We need people who are
- 37:09Speaker 1: not afraid to call our names. You know, there's too
- 37:12Speaker 1: many people in government who.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Are in high places. And when it comes to fighting
- 37:18Speaker 3: for black.
- 37:18Speaker 1: Folks, they get quiet. They get afraid.
- 37:21Speaker 3: They try to tell us that we've got to negotiate.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I know that Angie will not be that.
- 37:28Speaker 3: How excited I would be to be able to vote
- 37:32Speaker 3: here in Florida and make history. I wish I lived
- 37:36Speaker 3: here in Florida where I could make history right now.
- 37:41Speaker 1: I am envious of all.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Of you who have the opportunity to send a.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Bonafide warrior to the Senate.
- 37:51Speaker 3: I am so envious of all of you who had
- 37:55Speaker 3: the opportunity to make the case for folks that are
- 37:58Speaker 3: in Alabama, folks that are in Massachusetts, people who are
- 38:03Speaker 3: in New Jersey, people who are all over this nation
- 38:07Speaker 3: are counting on you and what you will do right
- 38:10Speaker 3: here in Florida. And the job, brothers and sisters, is
- 38:15Speaker 3: not you and your one vote. The job is your
- 38:20Speaker 3: entire community, your town. And damn it, go organize people
- 38:25Speaker 3: all over the state. We take off time to go
- 38:30Speaker 3: to concerts. We take off time for vacation.
- 38:35Speaker 1: We take off time.
- 38:36Speaker 5: To travel and do the things we want to do.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Sometimes we take off because we don't feel like listening
- 38:42Speaker 3: to what they got to say.
- 38:43Speaker 1: We just don't want to hear it.
- 38:45Speaker 3: So if you've done that before, then take off some
- 38:48Speaker 3: time and travel two and three and four hours away
- 38:51Speaker 3: from home to tell people that you already cast your
- 38:55Speaker 3: vote and now you're coming to get them.
- 38:58Speaker 1: That is the spirit of who we've always been.
- 39:01Speaker 3: It is the collective work and responsibility for our community
- 39:06Speaker 3: that has always gotten us over.
- 39:09Speaker 1: And this time will be no different. You know, one day, President.
- 39:14Speaker 3: Former President Biden said something that really bothered a.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Bunch of us.
- 39:19Speaker 3: He said, they're trying to put y'all back in chains.
- 39:25Speaker 3: And when I heard that statement, I, like many of you,
- 39:28Speaker 3: was disturbed. How dare President Biden say they're trying to
- 39:33Speaker 3: put y'all back in chains?
- 39:35Speaker 1: He wasn't president at the time. How dare he? We
- 39:39Speaker 1: would never. And whoever they is, we ain't going back.
- 39:44Speaker 3: But now as I look around, I realize that in hindsight,
- 39:49Speaker 3: President Biden.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Was telling us what he knew.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Because he was in the rooms and he was hearing
- 39:54Speaker 3: the conversation.
- 39:56Speaker 1: And while I had many issues.
- 39:58Speaker 3: With him, what I can say is he sounded the alarm.
- 40:02Speaker 3: They are trying to put us back in chains, black people.
- 40:06Speaker 1: And we ain't going back.
- 40:09Speaker 3: And the way we will protect ourselves, the way we
- 40:12Speaker 3: will defend our children, the way we will defend our
- 40:17Speaker 3: brothers and sisters who are being kidnapped around this nation,
- 40:21Speaker 3: is we will send a bona fide warrior to the
- 40:25Speaker 3: United States Senate in Angie Nixon.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Let's go, Florida.
- 40:32Speaker 4: So we're here with Mayor Lawson, and we're out here rallying,
- 40:35Speaker 4: getting out to vote. What do you think is at stake?
- 40:38Speaker 2: In this election?
- 40:40Speaker 8: Everything's at stake. The people that she's fighting for is
- 40:42Speaker 8: the ones that represent my community. Riviera Beach is a
- 40:45Speaker 8: predominantly black minority, one of the third lowest median incomes
- 40:48Speaker 8: in Palm Beach County. But Angie's fighting for those people,
- 40:51Speaker 8: the regular working class people, the ones that are just
- 40:52Speaker 8: trying to get ahead, the ones that need to take
- 40:54Speaker 8: advantage of Social Security and have that benefit, the ones
- 40:57Speaker 8: that need health care and access to health care, the
- 40:58Speaker 8: ones that need child care, better education. That's what Angie's
- 41:01Speaker 8: fighting for. So when I say everything, I mean everything.
- 41:03Speaker 8: Because my eight square miles of Riviera Beach, it needs her.
- 41:07Speaker 8: It needs us to get out the vote and to
- 41:08Speaker 8: support her and to get her over the hump to
- 41:10Speaker 8: make sure she's our next senator.
- 41:12Speaker 2: I feel the same way.
- 41:13Speaker 4: When I first started to listen to Angie Nixon, I
- 41:16Speaker 4: watched her campaign just grow. What do you think has
- 41:19Speaker 4: made people come out in these record numbers and people,
- 41:22Speaker 4: this energy that's around her that is just so illuminating?
- 41:25Speaker 2: What do you think it is? I see it firsthand.
- 41:27Speaker 8: I was with her in Tallahassee at homecoming, and I
- 41:29Speaker 8: saw the thousands of kids motivated. Back in school time,
- 41:33Speaker 8: get out the vote was, we weren't really that engaged
- 41:35Speaker 8: as we are today. And today the numbers are showing.
- 41:37Speaker 8: Here in Riviera Beach, I saw thousands of people coming
- 41:40Speaker 8: out just to get out and vote. Wanted to see
- 41:41Speaker 8: an opportunity to showcase Riviera Beach. But then also stand
- 41:45Speaker 8: side by side with somebody that's fighting for them because they.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Believe in her.
- 41:48Speaker 8: So Angie's really just motivated the common folks to really say.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I want to be engaged.
- 41:52Speaker 4: I want to be involved.
- 41:53Speaker 8: And I believe, again, in politics and governance. This is
- 41:55Speaker 8: numbers like Obama time. This is the numbers that really
- 41:58Speaker 8: show that they have something to fight for, to believe in.
- 42:00Speaker 8: Not just because she's a black, but she's a fighter.
- 42:02Speaker 8: She's a working class and she's a leader and an
- 42:03Speaker 8: educated black woman.
- 42:05Speaker 2: We have eight more days.
- 42:07Speaker 3: I just want to ask, what would it mean if
- 42:12Speaker 3: Ashley Moody became senator here?
- 42:16Speaker 8: So she represents our district as one of our senators
- 42:18Speaker 8: here in this community. She doesn't have the same experience, background,
- 42:21Speaker 8: and history that this woman has compared to what Revere
- 42:25Speaker 8: Beach represents. We have 67% black, 83% minority, third lowest
- 42:28Speaker 8: median income. While we have a barrier island, we also
- 42:33Speaker 8: have an amazing community that's a working class community, that's
- 42:36Speaker 8: an impoverished community that needs the support of somebody like
- 42:39Speaker 8: Angie Nixon. I don't think that our current Senator, Ms. Ashley,
- 42:42Speaker 8: would understand what it's like to really represent this community
- 42:45Speaker 8: and what Riviera Beach truly needs. So she's a fighter
- 42:47Speaker 8: for this community because she's just like this community.
- 42:50Speaker 4: And with eight more days left to the election, what
- 42:53Speaker 4: do you think it's going to take to get her
- 42:55Speaker 4: over the hump, to get her where she's supposed to be,
- 42:57Speaker 4: where we all believe she should be?
- 42:59Speaker 2: Get out the vote.
- 43:00Speaker 8: We have record numbers here. We have so many residents.
- 43:03Speaker 8: In our municipal races, we only vote 8 to 12
- 43:05Speaker 8: to 15%. In congressional, in presidential, in gubernatorial, we don't
- 43:11Speaker 8: vote at the numbers that we need to. But if
- 43:13Speaker 8: every one of my voting residents, my 24,600 registered voters
- 43:17Speaker 8: in Riviera Beach, just cast that vote and cast it
- 43:21Speaker 8: for Angie Nixon, that would do our part here from
- 43:23Speaker 8: Riviera Beach to represent what Riviera Beach needs. So get
- 43:26Speaker 8: out and vote.
- 43:26Speaker 4: Get out.
- 43:27Speaker 8: Make sure you call your mama, your auntie, your cousin,
- 43:29Speaker 8: and tell them we need you. We need you because
- 43:30Speaker 8: Riviera Beach needs you. Palm Beach County needs you. The
- 43:32Speaker 8: state needs you. And this entire country needs Angie Nixon.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Well, we appreciate you for all that you've done. And
- 43:39Speaker 4: this is a good showing. We know that with this
- 43:42Speaker 4: type of energy, we can't do nothing but win.
- 43:44Speaker 6: But win.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Tell us what's at stake.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Everything is at stake.
- 43:49Speaker 1: I'm here in Florida right now. You see, they just
- 43:51Speaker 1: called the police on a three-year-old kid, right? For playing soccer.
- 43:56Speaker 1: We can't get a verdict on Nolan Wells.
- 43:58Speaker 3: We can't get an.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Actual brain jury. We can't get.
- 44:01Speaker 1: People to look into this case.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Everything is at stake.
- 44:06Speaker 6: We're watching it unfold right before our eyes, our hands.
- 44:11Speaker 6: Let's continue to pray, but most of all, we've got
- 44:13Speaker 6: to move by faith, and we've got to get out
- 44:14Speaker 6: here and vote.
- 44:16Speaker 2: See the line right here?
- 44:17Speaker 6: Come in line for my.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Name and make sure you vote. Everything is at stake. Well, listen,
- 44:22Speaker 2: I hope that you enjoyed this episode.
- 44:24Speaker 4: You've seen some clips from us being on the ground
- 44:27Speaker 4: with the GOTV. We brought you some of Angie Nixon.
- 44:29Speaker 4: We brought you some of the, just the rally around.
- 44:32Speaker 4: And we actually brought you the mayor of River Beach,
- 44:35Speaker 4: Mayor Lawson. He gave his point of view. I hope
- 44:37Speaker 4: you went out and voted already. If you didn't go
- 44:39Speaker 4: out and vote already, make sure you do right now.
- 44:41Speaker 4: Bring a friend, bring a brother, bring a cousin. Because
- 44:45Speaker 4: like we always say, we always say this. What's at
- 44:48Speaker 4: stake is everything. And if you're not voting, then you're
- 44:52Speaker 4: on the menu. I'm not going to always be right.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Tamika D. Maverick's not going to always be wrong. We'll both,
- 44:57Speaker 2: and I mean both, always be authentic. Peace.
