- 0:15Speaker 1: in to the start of a friendship between the Bengals
- 0:18Speaker 1: new left tackle Orlando Brown Junior and the NFL's all
- 0:22Speaker 1: time best left tackle Anthony Munos, plus a little contract
- 0:27Speaker 1: talk from Joe Burrow and T Higgins. The Bengals Booth

- 0:58Speaker 1: thing since Joe Burrow's comfort in his own skin. As
- 1:04Speaker 1: you almost certainly know by now, Joe Burrow showed up
- 1:07Speaker 1: for practice this week wearing a headband and it created
- 1:11Speaker 1: quite the social media stir. In fact, I want to
- 1:14Speaker 1: invest in a headband company. I suspect every kid in
- 1:18Speaker 1: Cincinnati is going to be wearing one soon. But in
- 1:21Speaker 1: all seriousness, it's one of the things I admire most
- 1:24Speaker 1: about the Bengals quarterback. He is totally comfortable in his
- 1:28Speaker 1: own skin, whether it's wearing unusual clothing as he walks
- 1:32Speaker 1: into the stadium or expressing his opinion on issues that
- 1:36Speaker 1: he finds important. Joe trust his instincts. There's a lesson
- 1:40Speaker 1: there for all of us. Speaking of Burrow, he met
- 1:44Speaker 1: with reporters on Tuesday for the first time since the
- 1:47Speaker 1: AFC Championship game, and naturally was asked about his contract negotiations.
- 1:54Speaker 2: You know, I'm involved's and it's in the works.
- 1:58Speaker 3: That's uh really something that I like to play out
- 2:02Speaker 3: in the media. That's something just the way I think
- 2:06Speaker 3: they want to do business. I want to do business.
- 2:08Speaker 3: We prefer to keep that between us.
- 2:11Speaker 1: As a matter of fact. Way of discussing it certainly
- 2:14Speaker 1: makes it appear that Joe expects a deal to get
- 2:16Speaker 1: done this offseason, much like the contract extensions given to
- 2:21Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson. It's obviously the number one
- 2:25Speaker 1: off season objective for the Bengals, but they would also
- 2:28Speaker 1: like to extend t Higgins and Logan Wilson this year
- 2:32Speaker 1: and Jamar Chase next year. Burrow is well aware of
- 2:37Speaker 1: how his deal could impact the ability to retain others.
- 2:42Speaker 3: You know, whenever you have guys on the team that
- 2:45Speaker 3: I need to be paid, that's always on your mind.
- 2:47Speaker 3: You want that to be a focal point, and so
- 2:49Speaker 3: we're working to make that happen.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I feel very confident in saying that a Burrow extension
- 2:56Speaker 1: is not a matter of if. But when the Bengal
- 3:00Speaker 1: Booth podcast is brought to you by Bengals Picks and
- 3:02Speaker 1: Ultimate Bengals, they're free to play, with tickets and signed
- 3:05Speaker 1: merchandise up for grabs. Find both inside the Bengals app.
- 3:10Speaker 1: The most recent collective bargaining agreement between NFL owners and
- 3:13Speaker 1: players splits off season activities into three phases, and the
- 3:18Speaker 1: Bengals began Phase two this week. Phase one is basically
- 3:22Speaker 1: limited to working out and holding meetings. In Phase two,
- 3:26Speaker 1: the players start doing some limited football activities. It's still
- 3:30Speaker 1: voluntary for veterans at this point, but nearly all of
- 3:34Speaker 1: the Bengals key players were in attendance, including Higgins. He
- 3:38Speaker 1: discussed his presence and his contract negotiations with reporters.
- 3:45Speaker 2: See a lot of guys that are in contract situations
- 3:48Speaker 2: like yours may not be in something like this.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Why is it important for you to be here?
- 3:52Speaker 5: To be honest with you, I'm here to get working man.
- 3:54Speaker 5: At the end of the day, I love the game.
- 3:55Speaker 5: You know, whatever happens when my contract happens, I'm not
- 3:58Speaker 5: worried about that right now. But hopefully we can get
- 4:01Speaker 5: something done soon. But right now, I'm just here to work.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I mean, Joe talks about whenever he's going through negotiations,
- 4:06Speaker 1: he's keeping you and jam more in mind for next year.
- 4:08Speaker 4: What's a life when your.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Quarterback is saying?
- 4:10Speaker 4: When it's kind of his money works out, he.
- 4:11Speaker 5: Just tells everybody he want to keep his letters around,
- 4:13Speaker 5: you know, and hopefully we can do that and you.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Know, keep goodter from here.
- 4:17Speaker 4: I mean, it's not something that y'all talk about a time.
- 4:19Speaker 6: I mean, how much y'all kind of as a trio
- 4:21Speaker 6: talk about it because y'all ever one.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Hopentially we're talking about staying together, you know, for the
- 4:24Speaker 5: long run, and hopefully we can do that and hopefully
- 4:28Speaker 5: we can get something, you know, negotiated to where he
- 4:30Speaker 5: can keep all three of us.
- 4:32Speaker 4: How involved are you?
- 4:35Speaker 5: I just I just just I'm just here, you know,
- 4:38Speaker 5: doing my thing, working out.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I let them do what they need to do, you
- 4:41Speaker 2: know what I'm saying.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So sore you trying not to worry about it and
- 4:44Speaker 1: keep it out of your hat on.
- 4:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I just keep my head, you know, keep my
- 4:46Speaker 5: head clear and not trying to worry about you know,
- 4:48Speaker 5: contract stuff, and just trying to better my my game.
- 4:51Speaker 5: So it's not hard though, I mean not really because
- 4:55Speaker 5: at the end of the day, I'm here to play football.
- 4:57Speaker 5: So obviously I want to make money, but at the
- 4:59Speaker 5: end of the day, I'm here to play the game
- 5:00Speaker 5: I love.
- 5:01Speaker 2: She got out.
- 5:01Speaker 4: A lot of people in your position would the off
- 5:03Speaker 4: season program? What happened to all the league? Why did
- 5:06Speaker 4: you want to be here?
- 5:07Speaker 5: I mean I love the game, man, you know, I
- 5:08Speaker 5: wanted to come in and work. I mean I live here,
- 5:10Speaker 5: insisting that why not be here and work out? You
- 5:12Speaker 5: know what I'm saying, for free So I mean, at
- 5:15Speaker 5: the end of the day, I'm just here to get
- 5:17Speaker 5: my work in for you.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Is there a message in that too, like, Hey, I'm here.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Not necessarily I mean, I mean people can put it
- 5:24Speaker 5: that way. At the end of the day, I'm here
- 5:26Speaker 5: for me and you know, I'm gonna get my body
- 5:28Speaker 5: in the best shape to play at the highest level
- 5:31Speaker 5: come game time.
- 5:32Speaker 4: People have Some people in there came to they don't
- 5:34Speaker 4: do that anyway.
- 5:34Speaker 1: It recommended you, hey, don't don't go, or you were
- 5:37Speaker 1: just like, no, everybody knows I'm coming. Like no.
- 5:39Speaker 5: My agent was even like, man, dude, what you want
- 5:41Speaker 5: to do. At the end of the day, you know,
- 5:42Speaker 5: it's whatever you want to do. I'm not gonna tell
- 5:44Speaker 5: you what to do. So and it was my decision
- 5:46Speaker 5: to come back and come work out.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Joe was saying he's thinking about his contracting.
- 5:50Speaker 2: He's also thinking that you and Jamar during that process
- 5:52Speaker 2: was the being to have a quarterback looks at this
- 5:54Speaker 2: that way.
- 5:55Speaker 5: Man, he's a lot, uh, you know, just having a guy,
- 5:57Speaker 5: a leader like him, you know, looking out for guys
- 5:59Speaker 5: like us and hopefully we can get something.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Did you buy any of the weird trade stuff before
- 6:06Speaker 1: the combine that was out there.
- 6:07Speaker 4: I'm sure you saw it.
- 6:08Speaker 2: I've seen it, but I wasn't there. I wasn't tripping.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I know, I'm wanted here at the end of the day,
- 6:13Speaker 5: and I knew I wasn't going nowhere.
- 6:15Speaker 4: So I don't think I'm seeing you shoot down the
- 6:17Speaker 4: trade like.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Yeah, that was pretty cool to see. That made me feel,
- 6:23Speaker 5: you know, more wanted here and feel good.
- 6:25Speaker 1: So at one point it went viral that your deal
- 6:29Speaker 1: was done? Did you get bombarded by people saying all.
- 6:33Speaker 5: Right, yeah, I had a lot of people texting me, man,
- 6:35Speaker 5: but I ain't texting that because I knew it wasn't
- 6:38Speaker 5: nothing done, you know what I'm saying.
- 6:39Speaker 2: So my mom.
- 6:41Speaker 5: Texted me was like, you got a deal doing something?
- 6:45Speaker 5: It's like, Mom, trust me if I had a deal
- 6:47Speaker 5: doing you with you first enough. She was like, I
- 6:50Speaker 5: thought so, But yeah, man, it was it was just,
- 6:53Speaker 5: you know, just just rooms.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Here's hoping those rumors become fact before the start of
- 6:59Speaker 1: the season. The Bengals Booth podcast is brought to you

- 7:27Speaker 1: for a conversation. I hope you enjoy as much as
- 7:30Speaker 1: I did. It's been almost exactly two months since the
- 7:34Speaker 1: Bengals stunned the NFL by signing the best free agent
- 7:38Speaker 1: offensive lineman on the market to a four year contract,
- 7:42Speaker 1: four time Pro Bowler, Orlando Brown Junior. When Brown met
- 7:46Speaker 1: with the media shortly after signing on the dotted line,
- 7:49Speaker 1: he mentioned how he has studied the all time great
- 7:52Speaker 1: left tackles in his quest to get better, including Bengals
- 7:57Speaker 1: Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz. Gave me an idea, what
- 8:01Speaker 1: if I could arrange for the two of them to
- 8:04Speaker 1: talk football on a zoom call. That call took place
- 8:07Speaker 1: this week and we have the pleasure of listening in.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm going to start this conversation by pulling the curtain
- 8:16Speaker 1: back a little bit. Orlando, when I mentioned the possibility
- 8:20Speaker 1: of joining me on this podcast with Anthony Munos, you
- 8:25Speaker 1: lit up like a Christmas tree. How much do you
- 8:28Speaker 1: know about Anthony and why is this so meaningful for you?
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah? Man, I mean I know a lot, you know, obviously,
- 8:35Speaker 2: just probably more surface level stuff, but It means so
- 8:38Speaker 2: much to me, man, just because of you know, everything
- 8:40Speaker 2: that you know, my family instilled in me about the
- 8:43Speaker 2: left tackle position, and you know, Anthony Muyos is the
- 8:47Speaker 2: greatest to do it. And I think statistically that's proven.
- 8:50Speaker 2: What he's done on the film is gold jacket. And
- 8:53Speaker 2: you know, May given the opportunity to be able to
- 8:55Speaker 2: speak to him, I mean, come on, snow denied it.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I've been waiting on this moment.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Anthony Orlando was born in nineteen ninety six, a few
- 9:06Speaker 1: years after your career ended, but he clearly appreciates the
- 9:10Speaker 1: greats that played before him. What does that tell you?
- 9:13Speaker 4: Well, you know, it's it's really meaningful.
- 9:15Speaker 6: It's flattering that you know, he would talk about wanting
- 9:20Speaker 6: to meet me and wanting to talk. You know, I
- 9:22Speaker 6: guess it really goes to the game. I mean, and
- 9:25Speaker 6: I'm much older than him, much much older. I was
- 9:27Speaker 6: older than his dad. But then I look at the
- 9:30Speaker 6: guys that, you know, the shoulders I stood on, you know,
- 9:32Speaker 6: when I was a kid, I was watching you know,
- 9:34Speaker 6: you know, Art Shell and guys like that. So you know,
- 9:38Speaker 6: it's one of those things where it's great to hear
- 9:40Speaker 6: as generations go along that. You know, we we can
- 9:44Speaker 6: think about the guys that played the same position, and
- 9:47Speaker 6: I'm flattering and I'm thrilled to get a chance to
- 9:49Speaker 6: meet the young guy.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, man, that's awesome. I appreciate that. Man. That's you know,
- 9:54Speaker 2: I just I personally feel like that's like the humbling
- 9:56Speaker 2: part of football is the guys that came before you.
- 9:58Speaker 2: You know, even at your universe on the pro teams
- 10:01Speaker 2: you play, you know, once you get to a certain
- 10:03Speaker 2: level in this league, the guys that came before you,
- 10:05Speaker 2: you know what I mean, that's who laid out the
- 10:07Speaker 2: carpet to give guys an opportunity. And you know, you
- 10:10Speaker 2: being you know, the type of player you were athletically,
- 10:13Speaker 2: high wise, size wise, wait wise, all of that. You know,
- 10:15Speaker 2: it's you somewhat one of the first. So you know, man,
- 10:19Speaker 2: I mean it's it's a true honor. Well, Orlando.
- 10:22Speaker 6: You know, it's interesting so many times we think about
- 10:25Speaker 6: the pro game, but you you've mentioned a great thing.
- 10:27Speaker 6: You know, the guys that came you know before us,
- 10:29Speaker 6: And you know, I look at you know, you played
- 10:31Speaker 6: at Oklahoma, I played at USC two story programs, and
- 10:34Speaker 6: I look at the guys that really played before me there,
- 10:37Speaker 6: you know, way back in the sixties with Ron mixed
- 10:39Speaker 6: Hall of Fame number. You know, played a lot of
- 10:41Speaker 6: years in the NFL. Ron Yerry first picked me aft
- 10:44Speaker 6: for the Vikings, and then myself and then guys after
- 10:47Speaker 6: me like Bruce Matthews and Tony Basili and you got
- 10:50Speaker 6: the same thing going. So, you know, I think it's
- 10:52Speaker 6: great that as you know, young guys that are in
- 10:54Speaker 6: the league and even myself, we continue to keep that
- 10:57Speaker 6: sense of history and understanding see and appreciate what you know,
- 11:02Speaker 6: what the left tackle, what lineman do, and and that's
- 11:04Speaker 6: what's fun for me to meet a young guy like
- 11:06Speaker 6: yourself is having a lot of success right now, and
- 11:09Speaker 6: to finally say, hey, I'm looking forward to you know,
- 11:13Speaker 6: hopefully they bring me back to the preseason because I knows,
- 11:16Speaker 6: I do the preseason games, and I'm sure you guys
- 11:19Speaker 6: won't be playing a whole lot in the preseason, but
- 11:21Speaker 6: week number one, I'll you know, I'll be watching and
- 11:24Speaker 6: then when the games are at home, I'll be in
- 11:25Speaker 6: the stands watching.
- 11:26Speaker 4: But that's what's fun for me.
- 11:28Speaker 6: And I tell people, you know, people ask me what
- 11:30Speaker 6: about the draft, What do you think about the draft?
- 11:31Speaker 6: I said, you know what, it started for me with
- 11:34Speaker 6: the big smile before the draft, the fact that we
- 11:36Speaker 6: signed the left tackle. Uh and uh and that to me,
- 11:40Speaker 6: you know, I know, number nine, I had a big file,
- 11:43Speaker 6: a lot of fans or but tell you this old
- 11:46Speaker 6: office lineman had a big smile when they signed you.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Man, I mean for me, it was just you know,
- 11:51Speaker 2: coming to be a Bengal. Man, it was a clear
- 11:53Speaker 2: opportunity and you know, money aside. Uh. Man, I'm all
- 11:56Speaker 2: about winning and I'm all about playing the left tackle
- 11:58Speaker 2: position to the best of my ability. And you know,
- 12:01Speaker 2: this was a system under coach Taylor, coach Frank Pollock. Man,
- 12:04Speaker 2: everything that they asked the offensive tackle to do within
- 12:07Speaker 2: the system, I feel like was met my standards and
- 12:10Speaker 2: kind of uh plays to my strengths as a player.
- 12:13Speaker 2: And you know, I've we've all got our own strengths
- 12:15Speaker 2: and weaknesses. And man, I just feel like what they
- 12:18Speaker 2: had to offer in that area. Obviously with Joe you know,
- 12:21Speaker 2: being at the him at quarterback, I mean that doesn't
- 12:23Speaker 2: make it a tough decision either, man. But uh, it all,
- 12:26Speaker 2: it all kind of came together, you know. But something
- 12:29Speaker 2: I really wanted to ask you though, was you know,
- 12:31Speaker 2: you know, we we all know your accolades man, you know,
- 12:34Speaker 2: eleven time Pro boiler, All Pro thirteen years. Like, how like,
- 12:38Speaker 2: how were you able to maintain elite consistency? You know,
- 12:42Speaker 2: I haven't had the opportunity to make an All Pro yet.
- 12:45Speaker 2: I made the last four Pro bos, the last three
- 12:47Speaker 2: at left tackle, and you know I haven't. I haven't
- 12:50Speaker 2: necessarily done that yet. And that's my plan this year,
- 12:53Speaker 2: you know, to be able to turn that corner and
- 12:54Speaker 2: be that guy. But how were you able to maintain
- 12:57Speaker 2: that level of consistency throughout your whole career?
- 13:00Speaker 6: Well, first of all, I think that's a great goal
- 13:02Speaker 6: for you. I mean, the Pro Bowls are great. You know,
- 13:04Speaker 6: you're one of six. I think when when you make
- 13:06Speaker 6: the Pro Bowl, when you make All Pro, you one
- 13:08Speaker 6: of two in the entire league. And you know, so
- 13:10Speaker 6: that is that's a great goal for me. It was
- 13:13Speaker 6: year round, stay in consistent, staying in shape, working on
- 13:17Speaker 6: my technique. You know, one of the things a lot
- 13:18Speaker 6: of people know is that I didn't take a whole
- 13:20Speaker 6: lot of time and this worked for me after my
- 13:23Speaker 6: last game, to get back into training my body, letting
- 13:26Speaker 6: it recover you know, and going into it slowly, but
- 13:29Speaker 6: I'd already achieved a high level of conditioning during the
- 13:32Speaker 6: season is you know, and you're banged up a little bit.
- 13:34Speaker 6: But I continue right after the season, and I knew
- 13:38Speaker 6: that I would go out and I've left and I'd run,
- 13:40Speaker 6: but I'd also work on my technique in the offseason.
- 13:43Speaker 6: One of the things I tell young guys, you don't
- 13:45Speaker 6: need someone across the line.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Of scrimmage that work on your sets, on your your steps,
- 13:50Speaker 4: and and I just drilled that. That was you know,
- 13:52Speaker 4: that was the way I taught.
- 13:53Speaker 6: And I know you got an excellent offensive line coach
- 13:55Speaker 6: and Frank Pollett. That's all about the technique. So and
- 13:59Speaker 6: I had the adude that you know, I was a
- 14:02Speaker 6: number three pick. I came in, I started on the
- 14:04Speaker 6: third day. But I approached every season that I had
- 14:08Speaker 6: to earn the job.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Again.
- 14:09Speaker 6: I wasn't taking it for granted. You know, after that
- 14:11Speaker 6: first year of starting, in the second you're making the
- 14:13Speaker 6: Pro Bowl and all I erased that and said, Okay,
- 14:17Speaker 6: as I enter my off season, I have to go
- 14:19Speaker 6: back and.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Earn a job.
- 14:20Speaker 6: And that was my whole mentality, is that I wanted
- 14:23Speaker 6: to work I wanted to step the volume up in
- 14:26Speaker 6: my preparation, get much better my technique, get in better shape,
- 14:30Speaker 6: get stronger, And that's the approach I took, and up
- 14:33Speaker 6: until my last year that I was probably in my
- 14:37Speaker 6: Going into my year thirteen, I was a little more
- 14:39Speaker 6: banged up, but I was probably in the best shaped
- 14:42Speaker 6: cardio vascular because I knew it was an older player,
- 14:45Speaker 6: you had the younger guys nipping.
- 14:46Speaker 4: At your heels.
- 14:49Speaker 6: And just to share this one story, I'll never forget,
- 14:51Speaker 6: we had running tests going into mini campcer you know,
- 14:54Speaker 6: you call them OTAs, and we had defensive I'm a
- 14:56Speaker 6: Tim Krumer who trained like crazy too. We had to
- 15:00Speaker 6: do a half mile and a mile and you know,
- 15:02Speaker 6: we had like eight and a half minutes, and I
- 15:04Speaker 6: looked at Tim. I said, there's no way we're going
- 15:05Speaker 6: to take the full eight and a half and we
- 15:07Speaker 6: busted out and all the young guys said, what are
- 15:09Speaker 6: you guys doing well? First of all, we wanted to
- 15:11Speaker 6: really buy example, show them the work ethic. But then
- 15:15Speaker 6: on the other hand, I needed to show the coaches
- 15:17Speaker 6: that I could still make that half mile of that
- 15:19Speaker 6: mile under a certain amount of time. So I think
- 15:21Speaker 6: that's the example that especially offensive linemen set for not
- 15:26Speaker 6: only other linemen, but for the team is that you know,
- 15:29Speaker 6: as you know, we don't get all the notoriety, but
- 15:31Speaker 6: we can set the pace to temple about how we prepare,
- 15:35Speaker 6: how we work, and that's how it's trained at USC
- 15:38Speaker 6: And that was really the approach I took until you're thirteen.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely, I feel that you know a whole heartedly, man,
- 15:45Speaker 2: I you know, that's somewhat you know, I don't want
- 15:47Speaker 2: to say a forgot or untold part of the game,
- 15:50Speaker 2: but it's one of the most important. You know, I
- 15:52Speaker 2: think a lot of times, man, being in and now
- 15:54Speaker 2: you know, being in the sport so often, you know,
- 15:56Speaker 2: for me, and I don't know how it was for you,
- 15:58Speaker 2: but you know, you see a lot of that are
- 16:00Speaker 2: talented that don't necessarily love the game, and you know,
- 16:03Speaker 2: they kind of lose out on their abilities to be
- 16:06Speaker 2: able to maximize and you know what they can be
- 16:09Speaker 2: and who they can be as players. And you know,
- 16:12Speaker 2: that was something that I always heard early on, was
- 16:15Speaker 2: you know, how important your work ethic was and training
- 16:17Speaker 2: all those different things. You know, it's something that I've
- 16:20Speaker 2: personally gotten better with throughout throughout my career just because
- 16:23Speaker 2: you know, immaturities or whatever reasons coming out. You know,
- 16:26Speaker 2: I've always was a hard worker. That's how I earned
- 16:28Speaker 2: my job. But in college. But you know, man, it's
- 16:32Speaker 2: crazy you say that. I remember, you know, quick little
- 16:35Speaker 2: story for me. I remember, man, I want to say
- 16:38Speaker 2: it's it's right around in July of twenty fifteen. I
- 16:41Speaker 2: think he did a Ted talk or something like that. Yeah, man,
- 16:45Speaker 2: it was. It was you talked about moving forward. You
- 16:47Speaker 2: know your mom. Your mom you know, encouraged me, you
- 16:50Speaker 2: to move forward. And you know, that was something that
- 16:53Speaker 2: really hit home with me, you know, because it was
- 16:55Speaker 2: just such a deep message, you know, as somebody obviously
- 16:58Speaker 2: that looks up to you, even then, you know, more
- 17:00Speaker 2: so now being in this position. But you know, man,
- 17:03Speaker 2: that's that's something that that I've kind of always went
- 17:05Speaker 2: back to in my mind. Was you know, the mindset
- 17:08Speaker 2: and mentality of that. Yeah, you know, I think, yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 6: As we talk about that, you know, one of the
- 17:13Speaker 6: phrases that I get a little I don't really care for.
- 17:16Speaker 6: I know a lot of guys talk about a chip
- 17:18Speaker 6: on their shoulder. I don't know that because to me,
- 17:21Speaker 6: when you look at it that you have a chip
- 17:23Speaker 6: on the shoulder that has a tendency to take your
- 17:26Speaker 6: focus away from your job. If you look at it
- 17:29Speaker 6: that this is just the job I have, and I'm
- 17:32Speaker 6: going to make those people, the Brown family, whoever you
- 17:34Speaker 6: make them, believe they made the right choice.
- 17:37Speaker 4: That's that's it.
- 17:38Speaker 6: I could have gone into my draft and said, you know,
- 17:41Speaker 6: I got a chip on my shoulder because nobody said
- 17:43Speaker 6: i'd get drafted.
- 17:43Speaker 4: I must, but I didn't look at it that way.
- 17:45Speaker 4: I looked at it.
- 17:46Speaker 6: This is my opportunity, this is my job. I want
- 17:49Speaker 6: to keep this job as long as I can at
- 17:51Speaker 6: the highest level. And I really believe if you start
- 17:53Speaker 6: talking about a chip on your shoulder, and I've heard
- 17:55Speaker 6: other guys use that, that it really takes your focus
- 17:58Speaker 6: off what you have to do, and it puts your
- 18:01Speaker 6: focus on those that you want to that you want
- 18:03Speaker 6: to say, hey, look at what I can do more
- 18:05Speaker 6: than like, I got to do my job, and this
- 18:07Speaker 6: is what I'm going to do to help the team
- 18:09Speaker 6: to be the best first of all, the best player,
- 18:11Speaker 6: the best team player. And uh and I'll share this
- 18:15Speaker 6: real quick. You know, we know this is a team sport.
- 18:17Speaker 6: And when I share a lot. I say, the only
- 18:20Speaker 6: time I was selfish in this team sport was in.
- 18:24Speaker 4: The off season.
- 18:25Speaker 6: I was selfish to get myself as strong as possible,
- 18:29Speaker 6: in the best shape, and work on my technique. That's
- 18:32Speaker 6: the only time I was selfish. Once I hit the
- 18:34Speaker 6: field with my teammates, it was all about team and
- 18:37Speaker 6: that's the approach I took, and I think that's what
- 18:38Speaker 6: allowed me to play at such a high level for
- 18:41Speaker 6: such a long time.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I love that. Man I. You know, I've
- 18:45Speaker 2: always been curious, you know, obviously just watching so much
- 18:48Speaker 2: film of you and knowing your story, and you know
- 18:52Speaker 2: this might be a little deep, but you know, talk
- 18:54Speaker 2: to me a little bit about like your mindset, your
- 18:56Speaker 2: standard come Sundays, you know, and obviously that pre racing stars,
- 19:00Speaker 2: as you're saying in the off season in training camp
- 19:03Speaker 2: with the guys, blood, sweat and tears, you know, the holes, Bill,
- 19:06Speaker 2: But you know, talk to me a little bit about
- 19:08Speaker 2: like your state of mind on Sundays.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 19:12Speaker 6: Well, okay, So first of all, you have three or
- 19:15Speaker 6: four days of practice before your game. I just looked
- 19:19Speaker 6: at that as my preparation. That was my that was
- 19:22Speaker 6: getting ready for my final exam. You have, however, many
- 19:25Speaker 6: plays on Sunday, but think about all the reps you
- 19:28Speaker 6: have leading up to Sunday, reps to work on what.
- 19:32Speaker 6: Once you've studied the guy you're playing against, what am
- 19:34Speaker 6: I going to use against him? What's gonna work? And
- 19:37Speaker 6: then working on that all week and believing in that.
- 19:40Speaker 6: So I enjoyed all the reps that I took during
- 19:43Speaker 6: the week. If it was you know, a thud or
- 19:46Speaker 6: full speed for us, or even a walkthrough. I believe
- 19:49Speaker 6: you can get better in a walkthrough. You know, if
- 19:51Speaker 6: you're past that, don't just get out of your stands.
- 19:54Speaker 6: Do what you do in you know, in full speed,
- 19:57Speaker 6: but you're not hitting anybody, not that you have to,
- 20:00Speaker 6: you know, blow everything out in a walk through.
- 20:01Speaker 4: But you can get better in a walk through. So
- 20:03Speaker 4: that was my whole mindset.
- 20:05Speaker 6: And then come Saturday we review and I'll never forget
- 20:08Speaker 6: Jim McNally who coached me. It was along the lines
- 20:10Speaker 6: of Frank caug Jim would come up to me and
- 20:12Speaker 6: he goes, now you've worked on this, you got to
- 20:15Speaker 6: believe in it and trust it. I said, Yep, here's
- 20:18Speaker 6: the technique that I believe is going to work. And
- 20:20Speaker 6: you just you go with it. And that was my
- 20:21Speaker 6: whole mindset. And I think a lot of the mindset
- 20:25Speaker 6: goes back to my freshman year in college. And it's interesting.
- 20:28Speaker 6: I retired and a year after we retired, we moved.
- 20:31Speaker 6: We built another house, and we moved. I found my
- 20:33Speaker 6: freshman playbook from USC, I mean years after my freshman year,
- 20:39Speaker 6: and I opened it up and the first page and
- 20:41Speaker 6: this is kind of the attitude I had. The first page.
- 20:45Speaker 6: All it said and block letters was dominate. And then
- 20:48Speaker 6: you turn the second page and says we will dominate
- 20:51Speaker 6: from the first play and by the fourth quarter they
- 20:53Speaker 6: will give in. And that's kind of, you know, with
- 20:56Speaker 6: our whole mindset was finished, finish, finished, and just set
- 20:59Speaker 6: in the once you get in and you believe and
- 21:01Speaker 6: you trust what you're gonna do. Now the guy across
- 21:04Speaker 6: from you, after the first several plays, you want him saying, oh,
- 21:08Speaker 6: it's gonna be a long afternoon.
- 21:09Speaker 4: This is and that was the whole and it might not.
- 21:12Speaker 4: You know, we all get beat. We've all gotten beat.
- 21:14Speaker 6: But to keep it to a minimum, but have him
- 21:17Speaker 6: believe that it's gonna be a long afternoon. That's kind
- 21:19Speaker 6: of how I built up to when I played on Sunday.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Yeah. No, Man, I feel like that definitely showed you know.
- 21:25Speaker 2: I Man, I can't tell you how much how many
- 21:29Speaker 2: games I watched, but Man, I mean you had so
- 21:30Speaker 2: many battles, you know, obviously with I mean some of
- 21:33Speaker 2: the best to ever played the game, like Bruce Smith
- 21:35Speaker 2: man LT I think you call him a little bit
- 21:38Speaker 2: in there. I remember watching some stuff on him. But Man,
- 21:41Speaker 2: I mean just your approaching you know sometimes you know,
- 21:44Speaker 2: as you said, Man, you know you will get beat.
- 21:46Speaker 2: But I think, man, the one thing you really had
- 21:48Speaker 2: about your game that was crazy was your recovery. You
- 21:51Speaker 2: know what I mean. It's like, Man, a guy may
- 21:53Speaker 2: look like he has the age, but somehow, someway you
- 21:55Speaker 2: got your feet and hips back in front of this
- 21:57Speaker 2: guy and Boomer, you know what I mean to say?
- 22:00Speaker 2: You know how you were able to do those type
- 22:02Speaker 2: of things? Man? Are those for you? Were those considered
- 22:05Speaker 2: like practice techniques? Was that more of a mindset for you?
- 22:08Speaker 2: You know obviously? Because Man, I personally, you know, I
- 22:11Speaker 2: understand that if I'm setting a d N and I'm
- 22:14Speaker 2: using my inside hand and I feel his shoulder come
- 22:16Speaker 2: to me and I can't post back. I'm gonna I'm
- 22:19Speaker 2: trained to spin, you know what I mean. I've trained
- 22:21Speaker 2: my muscle memory to I'm gonna spin here. If I
- 22:24Speaker 2: miss with my inside hand and I know he spins inside,
- 22:26Speaker 2: I'm spinning with the spinner, you know. And I see
- 22:29Speaker 2: you do that sometimes, whether you're playing a Bruce Smith
- 22:32Speaker 2: and you know, maybe you miss with the first punch
- 22:34Speaker 2: and you know you feel like he's got an edge,
- 22:36Speaker 2: but somehow you get back in front of him. You
- 22:37Speaker 2: know what I mean? Is that a trained habit is
- 22:40Speaker 2: that you know, just similar for you muscle memory like that.
- 22:44Speaker 6: I mean, it's all the above. It It's tough that
- 22:46Speaker 6: you just got to keep going and do whatever it is,
- 22:48Speaker 6: you know. And I would think because they put us
- 22:50Speaker 6: at left tackle if they believe we're athletic enough to
- 22:53Speaker 6: move out in space, and that's the took if I
- 22:56Speaker 6: you know, if I did get in that position, you
- 22:58Speaker 6: know one of the things I would do. You know,
- 23:00Speaker 6: God bless me with the you know, big rear end.
- 23:02Speaker 6: So why not you know I played basketball in high school.
- 23:05Speaker 6: I couldn't jump, but I got a lot of rebounds
- 23:08Speaker 6: because I used my body and I knew where the
- 23:11Speaker 6: ball was going. So I used my posteriy or in
- 23:13Speaker 6: so why not if you feel your kind of you know,
- 23:16Speaker 6: turn spin and then recover. But that's the whole thing
- 23:19Speaker 6: we worked on and I was thankful that I had
- 23:21Speaker 6: that ability to recover, the recoverability. But it's again, when
- 23:25Speaker 6: you talk about that, what does it boiled down to?
- 23:28Speaker 4: Attitude?
- 23:29Speaker 6: Attitude of regardless of what position you're in, you got
- 23:32Speaker 6: to finish the block. You got to finish it however
- 23:35Speaker 6: you can.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I love it. I love that, man. I you know,
- 23:39Speaker 2: who would you say is the best best defensive and
- 23:41Speaker 2: you played throughout your career probably the best.
- 23:44Speaker 4: All around you mentioned and Bruce Smith.
- 23:45Speaker 6: I mean I I could go down the line probably
- 23:48Speaker 6: give you ten guys at amazing, but the total package
- 23:52Speaker 6: was probably Bruce Smith.
- 23:53Speaker 4: I mean size, speed lanes, you know, smarts.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Uh.
- 23:57Speaker 6: And it was obvious because they could talk them over
- 23:59Speaker 6: the nose and he could play inside with his size
- 24:02Speaker 6: just as effective. But uh, you know, I think I
- 24:05Speaker 6: I think there's about a half dozen guys I played.
- 24:08Speaker 4: My career in the Hall of Fame, so you know, yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 4: no doubt, no doubt.
- 24:12Speaker 6: I caught guy early in their career like Bruce, and
- 24:14Speaker 6: then I caught guys late in their career like Elvin
- 24:16Speaker 6: but with the Oilers and Cedric Oh yeah, you guys
- 24:20Speaker 6: like that. And then there's some guys that don't get
- 24:22Speaker 6: enough credit, like you know, you had Howie Long on
- 24:24Speaker 6: one side of the Raiders, but you had great Townsend.
- 24:27Speaker 6: The guy was amazing, uh tyde Simmons and you know
- 24:30Speaker 6: Sean Jones and fred Dean Leroy. I saw Leroy Salmon
- 24:35Speaker 6: twice in the first five weeks of my rookie year, thinking, oh,
- 24:39Speaker 6: welcome to the NFL.
- 24:41Speaker 4: You know, yeah, probably one of the nicest guys you'd ever.
- 24:45Speaker 6: Meet, but one of the toughest competitors and one of
- 24:49Speaker 6: them he's probably in my top five. And I saw
- 24:53Speaker 6: preseason and then opening up my rookie year, I'm thinking, Okay,
- 24:56Speaker 6: here we go the NFL.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Time to strap it up.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Man, that's the best though, another ykipede against greats. I
- 25:03Speaker 2: you know, something I did want to ask you though, was,
- 25:06Speaker 2: you know, man Arder, any regrets that you have in
- 25:09Speaker 2: your career. You know, whether that be uh, you know,
- 25:13Speaker 2: it's personal, you know what I mean, but just as
- 25:15Speaker 2: far as with family, as far as with what happened
- 25:18Speaker 2: on the field or you know anything like that. You know, obviously,
- 25:21Speaker 2: because you you know, you're a Hall of Famer, you know,
- 25:23Speaker 2: and you're the greatest to ever do it at the position.
- 25:25Speaker 2: And uh, you know, I'm just curious, man. You know,
- 25:27Speaker 2: no one man is perfect, so.
- 25:30Speaker 6: Nobody is, you know. But I can say that I
- 25:34Speaker 6: was taught. I had a lot of great mentors. I
- 25:36Speaker 6: was taught to prioritize things. And like I said, my
- 25:39Speaker 6: workout was you know, that was it. But you know,
- 25:42Speaker 6: really deciding to prioritize my life with my wife, my kids,
- 25:47Speaker 6: and my football. And I really believe the way I
- 25:50Speaker 6: was taught, I was able to do that. I was
- 25:52Speaker 6: able to put everything I could into football. But the
- 25:55Speaker 6: same time, you know, I was able to really make
- 25:58Speaker 6: my family a priority. So as far as regrets, maybe
- 26:02Speaker 6: I didn't learn to pass rush and I couldn't rush
- 26:05Speaker 6: Montana on that ninety two yard drive when they beat
- 26:07Speaker 6: a Super Bowl. That's the only regret, man, I had
- 26:12Speaker 6: to spin or you know, up and under the swiper,
- 26:16Speaker 6: maybe tackle up on third and long we win the
- 26:17Speaker 6: Super Bowl. But you know, Orlando, I can really say
- 26:20Speaker 6: that I really don't have any great regrets as far
- 26:24Speaker 6: as the game itself. Yeah, you know, I felt like
- 26:27Speaker 6: I gave it everything when I could, uh, and I
- 26:30Speaker 6: was you know, that was one of the things after
- 26:33Speaker 6: you know, only playing one healthy season at USC, I
- 26:35Speaker 6: wanted to play ten plus years and every time I
- 26:38Speaker 6: put the uniform on, I wanted to be next to
- 26:40Speaker 6: my guys. And I was able to do that for
- 26:43Speaker 6: just about my entire thirteen years with the Bengals.
- 26:46Speaker 2: That's awesome, man. Yeah, that's a beautiful thing. Man, you
- 26:50Speaker 2: that's that's so cool. I also wanted to ask you
- 26:54Speaker 2: to about, you know, just some of your relationships with
- 26:57Speaker 2: some of your left guards that you played next to. Man,
- 26:58Speaker 2: I know you didn't play next to me, I would
- 27:00Speaker 2: believe as a Bengel. Yeah, but you know, just just
- 27:03Speaker 2: I'm just curious on you know, your relationships with some
- 27:06Speaker 2: of these guys, you know what I mean, just how
- 27:10Speaker 2: how far they are you know, are you still friends
- 27:12Speaker 2: with them? You know? How was it when you guys
- 27:13Speaker 2: were playing how much time was spent together? Like, you know,
- 27:16Speaker 2: I'm just you know, just curious.
- 27:18Speaker 4: No, that's a great question.
- 27:20Speaker 6: And you know, and I tell people unlike the game
- 27:23Speaker 6: that nowadays, when I tell people I played thirteen years of.
- 27:27Speaker 4: Bengals and had one line coach. They're like, what and
- 27:31Speaker 4: I played and Dan might have the staff.
- 27:33Speaker 6: But I think I played next to Bruce Raimers for
- 27:35Speaker 6: like seven or eight years, maybe six or seven. I
- 27:38Speaker 6: played next to Dave Lapham for four who were Stills
- 27:42Speaker 6: the Buds.
- 27:42Speaker 4: I mean, you know, laugh Laugh is the man. He's
- 27:45Speaker 4: my guy man.
- 27:46Speaker 6: And when I got when I got it, I took
- 27:48Speaker 6: Dave Lapham to my hometown in southern California when they
- 27:51Speaker 6: did all these things for me at home when I
- 27:53Speaker 6: was getting inducted, and they said, we'd like for you
- 27:55Speaker 6: to bring one teammate, and I had I could have
- 27:58Speaker 6: chose a bunch of them, but I took lap I
- 28:00Speaker 6: played my first four years next to lapp In about
- 28:02Speaker 6: maybe six or seven, next to Bruce Reimers, and uh,
- 28:05Speaker 6: of course he always stayed in Iowa. I've seen him
- 28:08Speaker 6: a couple of times since they started bringing guys back,
- 28:10Speaker 6: but I'm sure we get together and it's like we
- 28:12Speaker 6: haven't missed a beat. And then a couple other guys,
- 28:14Speaker 6: you know, Bruce Kazerski who played guard center. They're still
- 28:17Speaker 6: in town. So we still have a lot of the
- 28:20Speaker 6: guys that I played with, uh and really the only guys.
- 28:23Speaker 6: Bruce Rhymers stayed in Iowa, so I don't see him
- 28:25Speaker 6: a whole lot, but we communicate now and then. And uh,
- 28:29Speaker 6: it was it was amazing because as you know, I
- 28:31Speaker 6: mean that left guard. It means everything, you know, not
- 28:34Speaker 6: only that, absolutely especially that left guard. And to be
- 28:37Speaker 6: able to play next to two guys for the majority
- 28:39Speaker 6: of my career. I feel really blessed and fortunate to
- 28:42Speaker 6: be able to do that.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Man. I hear you, man, I you know, because you know,
- 28:47Speaker 2: just just coming off a Super Bowl with Joe Touney
- 28:49Speaker 2: out there in KC. And we spent the last two
- 28:51Speaker 2: years together before that. For me, it was Marshall, Janda
- 28:54Speaker 2: and Baltimore on the right side a little bit, uh Man.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Just that bond that's created, you know, where you're bad
- 28:59Speaker 2: or with that guy for a whole game and it's
- 29:02Speaker 2: just YouTube versus another two set of men whose families
- 29:05Speaker 2: and loyalty and all this stuff is on the line.
- 29:08Speaker 2: And you know, I mean, just that bond and relationship
- 29:10Speaker 2: that's created within battle. Man. I'm just always curious, you
- 29:13Speaker 2: know it just about the you know, transition of the
- 29:15Speaker 2: game and kind of how that.
- 29:17Speaker 6: Goes, that's great. Now I got a young left tackle,
- 29:20Speaker 6: young left guard. We can see you in Bolton next
- 29:22Speaker 6: each other for eight, nine, ten years, so.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Man, that's the player.
- 29:26Speaker 4: That's the player, Man number nine.
- 29:28Speaker 6: Then for about another you know, ten to fifteen, and
- 29:30Speaker 6: have you guys on the left side, and yeah we're.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Five, no doubt, no doubt. Man, Last question for you,
- 29:37Speaker 2: I don't I don't think we have much time. But
- 29:39Speaker 2: last question for you. Man. You know I did a
- 29:43Speaker 2: little bit diving to you a little bit, you know,
- 29:44Speaker 2: obviously like growing up and stuff, and you know, I
- 29:46Speaker 2: just was always curious, you know, being a Mexican American,
- 29:50Speaker 2: you know, man, just kind of like what you experienced
- 29:51Speaker 2: because you're you know, growing up in California. I'm guessing
- 29:55Speaker 2: you know during the seventies, man, I had to or
- 29:57Speaker 2: you know, late sixties and seventies had to be you know,
- 29:59Speaker 2: some different. So you know, I just was curious on
- 30:02Speaker 2: the type of culture and and people you grew up around.
- 30:05Speaker 4: You know, I had a great upbringing.
- 30:07Speaker 6: I lived in a really diverse area and you're right,
- 30:10Speaker 6: sixteen seventies out in LA were not the greatest. But
- 30:13Speaker 6: I lived in a park just east of La about
- 30:15Speaker 6: forty miles and I mean there was three of us.
- 30:19Speaker 6: We were like the three Musketeers, and we'd go to
- 30:21Speaker 6: each other's house. I had a white guy, a black guy,
- 30:23Speaker 6: and a brown guy, the three of us. Man we
- 30:25Speaker 6: played baseball together, and I think I think I'd have
- 30:29Speaker 6: to say a little bias. They probably enjoyed my mom's
- 30:31Speaker 6: homemade tortillas more than the other food.
- 30:33Speaker 4: But we.
- 30:35Speaker 6: Used to go to each other's house each you know,
- 30:38Speaker 6: have meals with each other. We used to hang out.
- 30:41Speaker 6: So it was pretty diverse. And my high school is
- 30:43Speaker 6: pretty diverse. So I was fortunate growing up. You know,
- 30:46Speaker 6: my whole family's from Mexico. I was born in the States,
- 30:49Speaker 6: but you know, always been proud of the culture and
- 30:53Speaker 6: trying to represent you know, the Latino you know community.
- 30:56Speaker 6: And it's been important because I hear a lot of feedback,
- 30:58Speaker 6: you know, because especially as you get more, you know,
- 31:01Speaker 6: the Latinos playing in the NFL, guys you know, watching
- 31:05Speaker 6: you and and stuff as they're growing up. But yeah,
- 31:08Speaker 6: so the culture was pretty cool. I I had a
- 31:10Speaker 6: great upbringing. Uh you know, it wasn't the best. You know,
- 31:13Speaker 6: we didn't have a whole lot, but it didn't matter,
- 31:15Speaker 6: because as long as I had you know, my family
- 31:17Speaker 6: and school and sports, I was set.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Man, It's just the summertime. I played baseball all summer,
- 31:22Speaker 4: uh you know.
- 31:23Speaker 6: Then I got to high school and started playing some
- 31:24Speaker 6: football long with baseball and basketball, but things.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Went pretty well.
- 31:29Speaker 2: You know.
- 31:29Speaker 6: I never experienced any pushback, anything that you know affected me. Uh,
- 31:34Speaker 6: you know, as far as you know, people really, you know,
- 31:37Speaker 6: being any different to me. So it was good that
- 31:40Speaker 6: I grew up where I did, and then I came
- 31:41Speaker 6: back here. It was a little different when I got
- 31:43Speaker 6: to Cincinnati. Couldn't find any Mexican food. You know, I
- 31:47Speaker 6: no doubt a lot of people are going crazy about
- 31:50Speaker 6: Paco Bell and there's a restaurant here, Dan you probably,
- 31:53Speaker 6: I don't know if Dan's, even though the Chee Cheese
- 31:55Speaker 6: they had a restaurant.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Coltge Oh yeah, I remember Chee Chee's from back in
- 31:58Speaker 1: the day.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Absolutely, Orlando, You're like this and you ask me a question.
- 32:02Speaker 6: The first mistake I made when I got to Cincinnati
- 32:05Speaker 6: one of my first interviews, because we looked all over
- 32:08Speaker 6: for Mexican food, I said, the only one of the
- 32:10Speaker 6: only things I love. As soon as we got to
- 32:12Speaker 6: Cincinnati fell in love with Cincinnati.
- 32:14Speaker 4: I mean it was.
- 32:15Speaker 6: But in the interview, I said, I have one problem.
- 32:19Speaker 6: I can't find any good sasa.
- 32:21Speaker 2: I can't.
- 32:22Speaker 6: So that was a mistake because after that article came out,
- 32:26Speaker 6: every restaurant I went into, the cook came out with salsa.
- 32:31Speaker 4: It was a hey, Japanese steak cows steak cows?
- 32:35Speaker 2: It did?
- 32:36Speaker 4: They came out with salsa? Here?
- 32:38Speaker 2: Try this.
- 32:39Speaker 4: You know you got a while, okay, but.
- 32:41Speaker 6: Uh, you know, as time went by, we got more
- 32:44Speaker 6: some pretty good Mexican food.
- 32:45Speaker 2: But uh yeah.
- 32:46Speaker 6: So it was I enjoyed growing up in my culture
- 32:49Speaker 6: and and you know really, uh had no problems with it. Yeah.
- 32:53Speaker 2: That's awesome, man, that's you know, it's crazy to talk
- 32:55Speaker 2: about Cincinnati. That's like the best part of being here, man,
- 32:57Speaker 2: is the love in the city, you know what I mean.
- 33:00Speaker 2: And it's it's you know, you know how much they
- 33:02Speaker 2: love their football. You know how important it is to them,
- 33:04Speaker 2: and you know that that same energy as reciprocated man
- 33:07Speaker 2: from within and myself and yourself. So man, I'm so
- 33:10Speaker 2: thankful for you know, you taking some time to talk
- 33:12Speaker 2: to me and everything. Man, I really appreciate you.
- 33:15Speaker 6: Love it when dad, when Dan contacted me and I'd
- 33:19Speaker 6: love to do is I want to meet the guys. Uh,
- 33:21Speaker 6: you know now, now I know I'll be you know,
- 33:24Speaker 6: even if I hadn't met you, I'll be rooting y'all.
- 33:26Speaker 6: But I don't get down there a whole lot until camp.
- 33:29Speaker 6: But uh, i'll pop my head in there now and
- 33:31Speaker 6: then be the preseason. If to ask me back to
- 33:33Speaker 6: do the broadcast, I'll be back, but uh, I'll watch you.
- 33:37Speaker 6: I'll be watching you and hopefully we can go out
- 33:38Speaker 6: and grab a bite teeth down.
- 33:40Speaker 4: The road here some time.

- 33:51Speaker 6: to you my myself, my email and stuff, and maybe
