- 0:09Speaker 1: What's up, and welcome to Movie Meltdown. Well, at least
- 0:12Speaker 1: a snippet of the Meltdown, so to speak. So in
- 0:15Speaker 1: the full Horror Club episode, we get into a lengthy
- 0:17Speaker 1: discussion of ghosts and monsters and immigrant horror stories.
- 0:21Speaker 2: Among other things.
- 0:23Speaker 1: And one of those other things is going to be
- 0:25Speaker 1: the focus of our promo here. You see, before we
- 0:27Speaker 1: get into the full movie discussion, I started telling the
- 0:30Speaker 1: rest of the crew about how I recently re-watched the
- 0:33Speaker 1: Scream movies. And how, along the way... something occurred to
- 0:38Speaker 1: me that I hadn't thought about before. Maybe it has
- 0:41Speaker 1: occurred to you. It probably depends how many times you've
- 0:43Speaker 1: watched them. But either way, if you're a movie fan,
- 0:46Speaker 1: and especially if you're a horror fan, I would think
- 0:49Speaker 1: you'd enjoy this little piece of our conversation. Oh yeah,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and I'll tell you now, spoilers for all the Scream movies.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I mean, I say it in the episode, but I
- 0:57Speaker 1: didn't actually remember until we're about three potentially spoiled movies in. So,
- 1:02Speaker 1: just heads up now, I'm telling you from the get-go,
- 1:05Speaker 1: spoilers for the Screams. But I'm assuming if you're interested
- 1:08Speaker 1: in the Meltdown Horror Club, you've already.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Seen the whole franchise anyway.
- 1:12Speaker 1: So, that having been said, here's our presentation on the
- 1:16Speaker 1: presentation of Ghostface. So I was listening to episodes of
- 1:21Speaker 1: this show, and it was talking about Scream.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Which I'm totally on board with, and I'm like, okay, cool.
- 1:27Speaker 1: And really enjoyed kind of going through the blow-by-blow action
- 1:31Speaker 1: of starting with the first one. And we got midway
- 1:34Speaker 1: into that, and I was like, that's weird. Like, I
- 1:37Speaker 1: guess I hadn't stopped and thought about it. It's right
- 1:40Speaker 1: there in the plot. I guess if you dig into
- 1:42Speaker 1: any of these plots, they're all going to fall apart.
- 1:44Speaker 1: But I'm going through, and it actually, they started, or
- 1:47Speaker 1: it occurred to me during the bathroom scene when Ghostface
- 1:50Speaker 1: tries to jump Sidney. And then it also happens earlier
- 1:55Speaker 1: when I went back and started going through the list. So,
- 1:59Speaker 1: Ghostface shows up at her high school, tries to murder
- 2:02Speaker 1: Sidney in the bathroom. Now, as we know that movie...
- 2:07Speaker 1: It's based on a grand finale. And everyone's orchestrating it
- 2:12Speaker 1: in horror movie terms of like.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Ha ha, this is the way you end this big story.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Was he really trying to kill her? Like if he
- 2:19Speaker 1: kills her in the bathroom, is the movie over? So
- 2:23Speaker 1: all her friends live and like everything else stops because
- 2:27Speaker 1: all we wanted to do was off Sydney? Or is
- 2:30Speaker 1: that a play to lead to what will become the
- 2:33Speaker 1: grand finale? That she knows to just to scare and
- 2:37Speaker 1: keep perpetuating this ghost faces out there trying to kill
- 2:39Speaker 1: you thing until we.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Get to the grand finale. Huh.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 2:44Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But yeah, it also happens like he's in her house earlier.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I forgot that part when I even it occurred to me.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I was like, he's like the I'm on the porch thing.
- 2:54Speaker 1: And then he's in the closet.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I'm like, we already had like, I went back and
- 2:58Speaker 1: rewatched it. There's a knife coming at her head. Like,
- 3:01Speaker 1: Seems like he's trying to stab her in the head. And,
- 3:03Speaker 1: you know, as usual, Ghostface gets his ass kicked on
- 3:06Speaker 1: a regular basis.
- 3:07Speaker 2: That is kind of the beauty of the.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Killer in quotes there. Because normally, you know, Jason and
- 3:14Speaker 1: Michael Myers, like, they just plow through and kill everybody.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Ghostface gets his ass kicked in every, not even movie,
- 3:21Speaker 1: interaction with someone.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Sidney or whoever he's trying to kill usually beats the
- 3:25Speaker 2: hell out of him before they get stabbed. So.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That's always kind of fun.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Well, and you never see an unmasked ghost face being like,
- 3:35Speaker 4: hold on a second.
- 3:36Speaker 2: There's not stew with a giant bruise on his face.
- 3:39Speaker 2: They're like, huh, you didn't have that yesterday.
- 3:41Speaker 4: I got three of these ribs broken.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I can't get into it. Don't touch me there.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it does seem like eventually there'd be a little
- 3:50Speaker 1: red flag on the whodunit part.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Like, this guy with all the bruises is probably Ghostface. Well,
- 3:55Speaker 2: Billy had so.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Many opportunities when they were just alone off Sydney that
- 4:00Speaker 4: she never would have seen coming.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Again, like, what is the end result?
- 4:05Speaker 1: Is it the theatrics of it, which would then lead
- 4:08Speaker 1: to the big finale, or do you just want to
- 4:10Speaker 1: murder her? Because if you just want to murder her,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you're in her bedroom. Just stab her and go out
- 4:14Speaker 1: the window and be like, oh, somebody killed her. Like,
- 4:17Speaker 1: it becomes a weird thing. And then I went through
- 4:21Speaker 1: and I was like, well, all of them kind of have. Yes.
- 4:25Speaker 2: So then I started going through them all.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, so two is the least amount, but
- 4:29Speaker 1: there is a run in early on when she's at
- 4:31Speaker 1: that party at the sorority house and gets trapped in there.
- 4:34Speaker 2: It's over real quick, but like trying to murder her.
- 4:37Speaker 2: So is Mrs. Loomis really trying to kill her there?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Or do we need the grand finale at the playhouse
- 4:44Speaker 1: with all the thunder and lightning? Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I don't know. She seems like she just wanted to
- 4:49Speaker 2: murder her because she hated her.
- 4:51Speaker 4: How many of these ghost face.
- 4:56Speaker 2: How do any of.
- 4:57Speaker 4: Them get away with killing anybody?
- 4:59Speaker 2: They're all really bad at it.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Well, and in 2, they're going by the pattern of
- 5:05Speaker 3: killing people with the same names as the people that
- 5:07Speaker 3: were killed in the first movie.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Which comes up again later.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Why even scare her if you're just.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Checking off a list?
- 5:16Speaker 3: In a certain order.
- 5:18Speaker 1: And again real world for us it becomes to set
- 5:21Speaker 1: up red herrings half the time because then we've got
- 5:23Speaker 1: her stupid boyfriend getting slashed on the arm and it's
- 5:26Speaker 1: like well is that a ploy to make it seem
- 5:28Speaker 1: like it's not him even though it's probably him because
- 5:31Speaker 1: there's probably two people again and he's the other one
- 5:34Speaker 1: but he isn't so i don't know it's it's huh
- 5:36Speaker 1: spoilers for screams by the way all screams ever.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I do want to see in one of these movies
- 5:42Speaker 4: a scene at the beginning where the new ghost faces
- 5:47Speaker 4: are like, this is the one that's going to work.
- 5:49Speaker 2: It's going to work this time. I mean, it's kind
- 5:51Speaker 2: of five. I'll get to that. So yeah, three.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Again, I like three more than most people. But three,
- 5:58Speaker 1: there's the whole set piece in the middle in her
- 6:00Speaker 1: fake house where she almost falls off and dies. Or
- 6:05Speaker 1: he definitely almost kills her several times there. Which, again,
- 6:10Speaker 1: he's the one with the grand plan. He's the one
- 6:12Speaker 1: master planning this whole thing, if you believe that. So
- 6:15Speaker 1: is he the one that kept Stu and Billy from
- 6:18Speaker 1: killing her early on because he wanted the grand finale
- 6:20Speaker 1: because he's the director and he set this up?
- 6:23Speaker 3: Right.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Everybody's going to call bullshit on that. You're right, too.
- 6:26Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 6:27Speaker 1: But even there, I'm like, as far as we can tell,
- 6:30Speaker 1: trying to murder her in that house... And then we
- 6:34Speaker 1: get the big finale. So is this, which again, real world,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I don't even think that was supposed to be the finale.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I think it was supposed to happen on set originally before.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Rewrites got involved. Yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 1: So that's maybe half of these reasons. But as the
- 6:48Speaker 1: finished product stands, are you fake trying to kill her?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Because you need it to happen at the big party
- 6:55Speaker 1: at the end, at the producer's house. I don't know.
- 6:58Speaker 2: That one's weird too.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Don't think about it.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Scream 4, she gets attacked. I've just been not thinking
- 7:06Speaker 2: about it. I think that's what they kind of count on.
- 7:08Speaker 1: If you only watch it one time through, you're just like, wow,
- 7:10Speaker 1: that ghost face really wants.
- 7:11Speaker 2: To kill her at the end.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But then when you know, especially with these, because it's
- 7:16Speaker 1: always a big reveal, then when you rewatch it, it's like, boy,
- 7:19Speaker 1: Scream 4, she's at her aunt's house and almost gets
- 7:22Speaker 1: stabbed in the head once again. Girl gets stabbed and
- 7:25Speaker 1: her arm's sliced.
- 7:26Speaker 2: There's all these things going on at the house. And
- 7:29Speaker 2: I'm like, but there she definitely needs it to be
- 7:32Speaker 2: a big production. She is all.
- 7:33Speaker 1: About the finale and I'm the only lone survivor. I'm
- 7:39Speaker 1: becoming the new star Sydney person. So she would definitely
- 7:43Speaker 1: need the big finale at the end.
- 7:45Speaker 2: So that's fake? I don't know. Every one of these.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Five.
- 7:53Speaker 2: There's a snack room.
- 7:55Speaker 1: She calls it the break room. I'm like, is it
- 7:56Speaker 1: the break room at the hospital if you don't work there? Anyway,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm going with snack room. So she's in the room
- 8:02Speaker 1: with the vending machines where there is one in every hospital.
- 8:05Speaker 2: But yeah, it's weird that she said break room. You
- 8:08Speaker 2: don't work here. But again, she gets attacked.
- 8:13Speaker 1: And this is the one I will give the most
- 8:14Speaker 1: credit to because those two at the end definitely want,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I mean, it is, I don't, I will definitely question
- 8:22Speaker 1: Billy and Stu. They seem kind of like idiots.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Like, don't get me wrong.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I love those two, but they're not the biggest planning.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That's why you could almost buy number three of like, yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 1: somebody could easily do both of them. I mean, Billy
- 8:33Speaker 1: being the smarter of the two still ain't that bright.
- 8:35Speaker 1: So I can definitely see like them just sort of
- 8:39Speaker 1: winging it on the first one. And it just happens
- 8:41Speaker 1: to end up at the party.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Because, I mean, really, the party only happens because they
- 8:44Speaker 2: call off school. Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And they only call off school because of the murders
- 8:48Speaker 1: that they did, but they didn't know that was.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Officially going to happen. You could assume maybe.
- 8:52Speaker 4: And they only did the murders to get out of school.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So, like, all of that's a big gray area anyway.
- 8:57Speaker 4: I like it when things go in circles.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Definitely five, though, because five, like, those.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Two are completely reconstructing the whole idea of that first movie,
- 9:07Speaker 1: so much so they're at Stu's house. Like, they need
- 9:11Speaker 1: it to end and reboot the cycle at Stu's house,
- 9:14Speaker 1: so that one I'll almost give you. And it's also
- 9:18Speaker 1: the super minor one where she's in the break room,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and that's the only time they really have a solo interaction. Again,
- 9:26Speaker 1: she shows up and could have gotten killed at the
- 9:28Speaker 1: at the hospital trying to rescue her sister. So that
- 9:31Speaker 1: would totally screw up their movie, by the way. So, yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 1: that's the only one where there's like a minor interaction,
- 9:37Speaker 1: but I definitely feel like that was just.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Continuing the cycle.
- 9:41Speaker 1: They needed to lure her in. They needed to lure
- 9:44Speaker 1: Sidney into town to get their big finale at Stu's house.
- 9:47Speaker 2: So I feel like five is the one I will
- 9:49Speaker 2: be like, yes, that was fake.
- 9:51Speaker 1: That was meant to do what it did and drag
- 9:54Speaker 1: everyone further into the plot to lead us to the
- 9:56Speaker 1: big finale.
- 9:57Speaker 2: So five's the only one I'm like, yeah. and they
- 10:00Speaker 2: didn't get to six yet so because it's not.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Streaming by the way bastards but it's there it's i
- 10:08Speaker 1: looked it up before i was like okay before i
- 10:09Speaker 1: get to these last two i can watch them right
- 10:12Speaker 1: because i want to re-watch them before i get into
- 10:13Speaker 1: listening to this thing and it brought up both of
- 10:16Speaker 1: them i'm like okay cool so i watched the first
- 10:18Speaker 1: one and deal with that, getting ready to watch the
- 10:20Speaker 1: sixth one, and I was like, coming soon? So it
- 10:24Speaker 1: came up, but it came up with a weird coming
- 10:26Speaker 1: soon date that I didn't notice. So in a week,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I can watch that one.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Thanks, guys. Weird.
- 10:31Speaker 3: That one's been out for a while.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I know.
- 10:33Speaker 1: I think it's switching from one thing to another as well.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I think it's finishing up its run originally wherever it went,
- 10:39Speaker 1: and now it's going to go to this other streaming place.
- 10:41Speaker 4: It's so weird when they make you wait when they
- 10:44Speaker 4: do that, because it's not like somebody has to drive over,
- 10:46Speaker 4: pick it up, and take.
- 10:48Speaker 2: It to the... Contracts. I think it's all contracts. Yeah,
- 10:51Speaker 2: I know, but come on.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Jerks. The other thing, the only other one I found
- 10:56Speaker 1: out in the listening to this run of them was, and.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I think I've brought, I know I've brought it up
- 11:02Speaker 2: on the show.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I think our last two Scream conversations, I came up
- 11:06Speaker 1: with the same thing and told you guys because my
- 11:09Speaker 1: thing was Scream 4. I still really like it, but
- 11:12Speaker 1: I was so let down because of what I wanted.
- 11:15Speaker 2: The plot to do. And it doesn't do that. It
- 11:17Speaker 2: gets super traditional again.
- 11:19Speaker 1: So as I, I guess I never dug into that,
- 11:22Speaker 1: even when we talked about 4. I think we just
- 11:24Speaker 1: talked about the plot, not the behind the scenes. I
- 11:26Speaker 1: just found out the way that I wanted it to
- 11:29Speaker 1: go was exactly how Kevin Williamson was going to do it. And, like,
- 11:33Speaker 1: had written it that way. So much so that, like,
- 11:37Speaker 1: it was, in his mind, the start of a new trilogy. Right.
- 11:40Speaker 5: And he.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Because I said, I was like, I'm sick of Gale.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I want to offer in the barn right in the middle.
- 11:45Speaker 1: And then, like, Sydney, I like her and all, but...
- 11:49Speaker 1: If it's time to go, it's time to go. Especially
- 11:51Speaker 1: when you've got such a good new villain that can
- 11:54Speaker 1: come in and because she wants to take over, like,
- 11:57Speaker 1: become the new anti-hero and become the new... Again, I
- 12:01Speaker 1: always said turn it into more of like an American Psycho.
- 12:05Speaker 1: So we're watching this crazy person go through the steps
- 12:08Speaker 1: of like, how do I kill people and get away
- 12:11Speaker 1: with it? That's exactly what he wanted to do. He
- 12:14Speaker 1: was going to kill... He was going to.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Have it sort of left... Ambiguous?
- 12:18Speaker 1: Maybe, but I mean, basically, they take her out and
- 12:22Speaker 1: all the reporters are in her face at the hospital,
- 12:24Speaker 1: or before, at the house, before they go to the hospital.
- 12:26Speaker 2: That was going to be.
- 12:27Speaker 1: The end shot, was just her going out and all
- 12:29Speaker 1: the reporters giving her the attention that she wanted. Sidney
- 12:33Speaker 1: was essentially going to be dead, and the next two
- 12:36Speaker 1: movies were going to be her going on murdering people,
- 12:39Speaker 1: getting away with it, covering it up.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And again, the only thing I wanted, I was.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Like, kill Gale, you can kill Sidney if you need to,
- 12:45Speaker 1: leave Dewey, so Dewey can be the freaking... Donald Pleasance
- 12:49Speaker 1: dragging himself from one movie to the next, chasing this
- 12:52Speaker 1: guy or, or girl as it may be around, like
- 12:55Speaker 1: constantly looking for ghost face from one town to the next.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You can go to LA and go to New York.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Dewey's going to show up shuffling in there, shot nine times,
- 13:03Speaker 1: stabbed with nerve damage. He's still going to keep coming,
- 13:06Speaker 1: trying to kill ghost face. That's all I wanted. That's
- 13:09Speaker 1: pretty much what was going to happen. It was supposed
- 13:11Speaker 1: to be a trilogy. It was supposed to be, um,
- 13:13Speaker 1: Emma Roberts and all three.
- 13:15Speaker 2: And Dewey was still alive.
- 13:17Speaker 1: And, um, It's also the asterisk, the reason we don't
- 13:22Speaker 1: see Hayden get killed.
- 13:26Speaker 2: We see, you know, what's her name?
- 13:29Speaker 1: What is her character's name? Kirby.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Kirby.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Kirby gets stabbed pretty good and is bleeding nicely as
- 13:36Speaker 1: we leave her there, and then we just never come back.
- 13:38Speaker 1: We don't see her die because it was in her contract.
- 13:42Speaker 1: She was signed on for the next three in the trilogy. Oh.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So Kirby was going to survive and be in at
- 13:48Speaker 1: least the next movie, if not all three. And it
- 13:50Speaker 1: was in her contract.
- 13:51Speaker 2: She can't die in this movie.
- 13:53Speaker 1: So that's why we just cut away. And that's why
- 13:56Speaker 1: we get to bring her back in six.
- 13:58Speaker 2: So good for you, Kirby.
- 14:00Speaker 3: I would have liked that if the actress was anyone
- 14:03Speaker 3: other than Emma Roberts. There's just something about her that
- 14:06Speaker 3: I really don't like her. I find her so unlikable
- 14:10Speaker 3: in everything that she's in.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Especially the end of that movie. She is insane.
- 14:16Speaker 1: That's kind of what I wanted, was that level of
- 14:18Speaker 1: insane for two more movies.
- 14:20Speaker 2: That's true. I just can't watch her.
- 14:22Speaker 3: I don't know. Four is my least favorite. I just
- 14:25Speaker 3: can't stand her.
- 14:28Speaker 4: It's been so long since I've seen any of them,
- 14:30Speaker 4: except for the most recent two.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I had re-watched them not that long, and then went
- 14:36Speaker 1: back again just in the last couple of weeks doing this.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Again, I think it holds up. I think it's still.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Maybe my favorite series as far as solid one to
- 14:47Speaker 1: the next.
- 14:48Speaker 2: There are some issues with all of them. Well, that's
- 14:50Speaker 2: the thing.
- 14:51Speaker 4: I remember enjoying all of them to varying degrees, obviously.
- 14:55Speaker 3: Yeah, they're like my comfort movies.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I love them so much.
- 15:01Speaker 4: And I talk to people about... I've talked to people,
- 15:06Speaker 4: normal people, who are into horror movies and just absolutely
- 15:11Speaker 4: hate them and think they're the dumbest. And I'm like,
- 15:13Speaker 4: there's so much.
- 15:14Speaker 5: I was like, it's one of those few movies that
- 15:17Speaker 5: are full of who did it, who did it the
- 15:20Speaker 5: whole time that I actually have fun trying to figure
- 15:23Speaker 5: out who did it. And I'm usually not disappointed when
- 15:27Speaker 5: my initial thought was like incorrect.
- 15:30Speaker 2: See, I felt the other way just in the last
- 15:33Speaker 2: few weeks. Like since I've been watching this, I've seen so.
- 15:38Speaker 1: Many people wearing Ghostface. Like there was a kid at
- 15:41Speaker 1: the grocery store. I'm like, he's like, 15 or 16
- 15:44Speaker 1: i'm like dude you missed the whole first wave like
- 15:47Speaker 1: you're coming in on these last two movies at best
- 15:50Speaker 1: totally had this really awesome uh hoodie on with ghost
- 15:54Speaker 1: face on the back yesterday there's this dorky girl in
- 15:57Speaker 1: probably mid-20s wearing this giant ghost face again i think
- 16:01Speaker 1: it was another hoodie of a totally different variety i
- 16:05Speaker 1: was like it is it is hit a weird pop
- 16:07Speaker 1: culture wave that, like, again, is, like, the last of
- 16:11Speaker 1: those type of characters. Because he's, like, every time I
- 16:14Speaker 1: see a weird comedy horror-themed, because, again, that's what we do, horror-themed.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Skit or something online, it always is Ghostface and the
- 16:23Speaker 2: original slashers.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:24Speaker 2: So he's, like, been adopted into....
- 16:28Speaker 1: Jason and Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger. That era was
- 16:31Speaker 1: all kind of the 80s. And Ghostface got just cut
- 16:35Speaker 1: in under the wire there.
- 16:37Speaker 2: No, that's the thing. It's huge.
- 16:39Speaker 4: But for some reason, all the people I know, which
- 16:42Speaker 4: just tells me I need new friends.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you're going to have to switch out because those
- 16:45Speaker 2: people don't know what's going on. I mean, I tell
- 16:47Speaker 2: them that all the time. Your opinions are wrong.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Oh, boy.
- 16:52Speaker 5: So yeah, Scream.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I like it.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Me too.
- 16:57Speaker 2: I enjoy it thoroughly.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Even though only half the time is Ghostface actually trying
- 17:01Speaker 1: to kill Sidney.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Only when it's cool.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll have to think about that now. I guess
- 17:06Speaker 3: they're just like psychologically torturing her, though.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, next time you rewatch it.
- 17:10Speaker 4: What a horrible life that poor woman has had.
- 17:12Speaker 2: But I know, she's like, good God. That's why I
- 17:14Speaker 2: was like, can you leave me alone?
- 17:17Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like at a certain point you'd
- 17:19Speaker 4: be like, just get this shit over with.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I know, I'd be like, here.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Which even by.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Again, the way that they... The fifth one is so
- 17:26Speaker 1: well done. The fact that even she's like... Dewey's on
- 17:31Speaker 1: the phone with her. He's like, do you have a gun?
- 17:33Speaker 1: She's like, I'm Sidney fucking Prescott.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Of course I have a gun. And I was like, okay,
- 17:37Speaker 2: that's smart.
- 17:37Speaker 1: That's smart writing to insert that into your movie because
- 17:40Speaker 1: this woman has been through some shit.
- 17:43Speaker 2: So yeah, I do like... The fifth one is really
- 17:46Speaker 2: well put together.
- 17:47Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like if it happens once... you'd
- 17:51Speaker 4: definitely be screwed up by that. But you could reclaim
- 17:54Speaker 4: your life. Second time, it's like, okay, but by the
- 17:58Speaker 4: time it happens the third time, you're just like, what
- 18:00Speaker 4: the fuck is going on? It's like, what did I
- 18:03Speaker 4: do that was so bad?
- 18:05Speaker 2: She's the angel of death. Everywhere she goes, people die.
- 18:09Speaker 2: That's from 4, by the way. Even in the series,
- 18:11Speaker 2: they're like, seriously, what is up with this chick? Alright,
