- 0:49Speaker 9: I'm the Sport Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you.
- 0:53Speaker 9: Uh As, this beautiful Monday and the sun is up.
- 0:59Speaker 9: But we're in Atlanta, so at some point in the
- 1:02Speaker 9: next twelve hours, rain is gonna come.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05Speaker 9: It's just been one of those years. I would hate
- 1:07Speaker 9: to have been in the business of something like washing
- 1:11Speaker 9: cars or fixing gutters or any of those kind of occupations,
- 1:17Speaker 9: because it's coming at some point. It might only last
- 1:22Speaker 9: for three minutes, but by the time you run in
- 1:27Speaker 9: to get whatever you forgot, you know, you pulled off.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Everything was cool.
- 1:32Speaker 9: You got to the mailbox, realized you forgot some in
- 1:34Speaker 9: the house, went back, ran in the house, finally found it,
- 1:38Speaker 9: came back to your car and your car whip. It
- 1:42Speaker 9: happened just that fast between you getting out looking through
- 1:46Speaker 9: three or.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Four drawers for that thing. You just whatever that thing is,
- 1:51Speaker 1: you forgot.
- 1:52Speaker 9: It was really actually a reason why you was leaving,
- 1:56Speaker 9: but you forgot it in the house and then you
- 1:59Speaker 9: went back and you ain't got demnsa or nothing like that.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Just one of those moments you had like.
- 2:05Speaker 9: Nine things and forgot the one thing you was actually
- 2:08Speaker 9: leaving the house to do.
- 2:09Speaker 1: To do, and I didn't bring it, and you got
- 2:12Speaker 1: to go back and get it. Were you with me?
- 2:14Speaker 1: And then this weekend, because I swear you are. You
- 2:17Speaker 1: are just replaying my entire day yesterday in the car
- 2:21Speaker 1: backing out the driveway they got out to pull back
- 2:26Speaker 1: in real quick.
- 2:26Speaker 9: And the worst part of it, you start questioning do
- 2:30Speaker 9: you want to use the time and energy to go
- 2:33Speaker 9: in there? I just do it next time. But then
- 2:35Speaker 9: you try to show some discipline and go do it.
- 2:37Speaker 9: But I'm saying, come on, you, Greg, big Kenny. In
- 2:40Speaker 9: that window of you just running in the house and
- 2:43Speaker 9: leaving in Atlanta, it rained.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Hard, not just a little bit of rain either. I'm
- 2:49Speaker 1: talking about a soaking rain where you come out like,
- 2:52Speaker 1: what when did Why is the whole ground steaming right?
- 2:56Speaker 1: The steps just coming off the ground and everything is soaked?
- 3:00Speaker 9: What did I miss? But good morning till you're glad
- 3:02Speaker 9: to be here with you. As we round into the
- 3:07Speaker 9: first week of full NFL preseason games coming up, most
- 3:13Speaker 9: preseason games are on like Thursdays and Fridays, things like that,
- 3:21Speaker 9: So don't be surprised Thursday, your teams, that's when these
- 3:25Speaker 9: games happen, Thursdays and Fridays. I don't really see a
- 3:30Speaker 9: lot on the schedule for Saturday, Saturdays and Sundays, but
- 3:34Speaker 9: I'm quite sure one or two of them will be.
- 3:37Speaker 9: But most of them are Thursday and Friday nights Friday
- 3:40Speaker 9: or the preseason?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Are they regular what I call them network games? Are
- 3:46Speaker 1: Are we streaming some of them? From what I've seen,
- 3:53Speaker 1: they're going to be on in the local markets, so
- 3:56Speaker 1: we may see, you know, if you watch the Falcons,
- 4:00Speaker 1: it may be on Fox five, Okay, And that that's
- 4:06Speaker 1: what some of you have gotten rid of, just the
- 4:08Speaker 1: regular local markets. Like you, you were searching for what's
- 4:14Speaker 1: a local marketing channel? Would it be on Fox, it
- 4:17Speaker 1: might be on CBS. He had no idea. He was like,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it could be on a local one of the local ones.
- 4:25Speaker 1: It's on the the that's the only NFL that they
- 4:28Speaker 1: can do. In your defense, nobody was showing games on
- 4:33Speaker 1: local channels, so everybody bought a streaming package platform. And
- 4:37Speaker 1: now they're trying to show it on network TV. So yeah, they're.
- 4:40Speaker 9: Trying to get in and and and that's usually where
- 4:43Speaker 9: you They used to show.
- 4:45Speaker 1: All home games. Yes, on those channels.
- 4:50Speaker 9: You might not be able to get the ones on
- 4:51Speaker 9: the road, but the market always allowed for that. But
- 4:54Speaker 9: in the way and as they usher in the new
- 4:57Speaker 9: generation of a sports fan who owned, they grew up
- 5:00Speaker 9: streaming right. That's how they grew up. And remember they
- 5:04Speaker 9: have to pace. That's why I always remember just I
- 5:07Speaker 9: think it was about ten twelve years ago when they
- 5:09Speaker 9: faded out the whole little antenna right system and they
- 5:15Speaker 9: had to literally make an announcement and we're gonna let
- 5:18Speaker 9: our moms and even some of our age group know, hey,
- 5:22Speaker 9: we this is about to phase out.
- 5:25Speaker 1: That I think that it was a government rule reation.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Literally have to give you time to phase it out.
- 5:33Speaker 1: You people that want life to live people. Look, it's me.
- 5:37Speaker 1: I am one life to live people sports. Jack. I
- 5:41Speaker 1: was about to ask the question how did that happen?
- 5:44Speaker 1: Like how did we go from the regular game with
- 5:49Speaker 1: your local team on network television to streaming? And then
- 5:53Speaker 1: you answered it before I could even add, Well, this
- 5:56Speaker 1: the generation that that's all they know. You're not surprising
- 6:01Speaker 1: me with streaming. I've been streaming since I was nine. Correct,
- 6:04Speaker 1: they've never turned the channels. They don't know they that's
- 6:07Speaker 1: not how they've ever watched television. My first experience was
- 6:11Speaker 1: when look Kenny graduated from James Madison. I went a
- 6:17Speaker 1: couple of days early and he was gone handling business.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I was at his apartment watching what I thought was
- 6:23Speaker 1: TV but there were no commercials, and I was like,
- 6:26Speaker 1: hey man, what's up with your TV? And he was like, oh,
- 6:29Speaker 1: I just stream on whatever the service was. And I
- 6:31Speaker 1: was like, so this ain't TV TV. He was like, no,
- 6:35Speaker 1: don't nobody do that no more?
- 6:36Speaker 9: Well, yeah, you have people now literally won't even watch
- 6:40Speaker 9: something until the season's over because they just want to
- 6:45Speaker 9: watch it without interruption. They don't want to wait next week,
- 6:49Speaker 9: so they'll just missed the whole three four, six months
- 6:53Speaker 9: of an entire happening until it's all done and then
- 6:58Speaker 9: just watch it all three and so you know they're
- 7:03Speaker 9: not gonna wait week the week for an episode to
- 7:06Speaker 9: come out. So the NFL is back, local markets will
- 7:11Speaker 9: be shining here, I'm quite sure. But every every station
- 7:15Speaker 9: typically will get out there and get a game because
- 7:18Speaker 9: remember they got to get their crews ready. Yeah, so
- 7:21Speaker 9: at some point, uh, the game could be on anything
- 7:25Speaker 9: because everybody got to get their crews back into the
- 7:28Speaker 9: groove of where the truck.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Is supposed to go and how to get to the truck.
- 7:35Speaker 1: If you got to be on the truck, you need
- 7:36Speaker 1: to know what the truck is. Look at the schedule.
- 7:39Speaker 1: There are there.
- 7:41Speaker 10: The games are like all happening at the same time.
- 7:44Speaker 10: I mean, like we would see on a Sunday, but uh,
- 7:48Speaker 10: in the these will.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Be in the evenings.
- 7:52Speaker 10: NFL Network has a couple of games and they can
- 7:56Speaker 10: be streamed on ESPN, it looks like, but if you
- 8:00Speaker 10: don't have any either of those, it will be the local.
- 8:04Speaker 9: And that's what And give them another ten years and
- 8:07Speaker 9: that won't be an option. I mean, that's just really
- 8:11Speaker 9: how we're moving with technology. The things that you want
- 8:14Speaker 9: as an option I couldn't have believed in my short lifetime,
- 8:18Speaker 9: my short long lifetime, meaning that where I haven't started
- 8:22Speaker 9: feeling old yet. Right the newspaper disappeared.
- 8:28Speaker 1: It's like the thing that literally we don't make that anymore.
- 8:33Speaker 1: The payphone doesn't exist anymore. Hey man, y'all got a
- 8:36Speaker 1: phone or of what? Yeah, it's not even to imagine
- 8:40Speaker 1: you'll see a lion to one posts a picture like
- 8:43Speaker 1: I found this payfold in this right right. It's almost
- 8:47Speaker 1: like a where's walh Yeah, but good morning once again.
- 8:52Speaker 9: Vig Kennedy, the funny man himself in the building commands you,
- 8:56Speaker 9: Greg in the building. For all you out there listening,
- 8:59Speaker 9: real quick, I'm going to give you a little information.
- 9:02Speaker 9: I want you to hit us up if you can
- 9:05Speaker 9: and give me your definition of white.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Privilege.
- 9:14Speaker 9: Please, citizen, let me know so big Kenny can read
- 9:19Speaker 9: off Kamanchi. Greg can read off some of you before
- 9:21Speaker 9: I even asked them. And I'm giving everybody a little
- 9:23Speaker 9: moment of time so they don't feel that pressure that
- 9:27Speaker 9: a lot of people like to crumble under. They can
- 9:30Speaker 9: do a lot of things until you put them on
- 9:31Speaker 9: the clock. Answer answer, just disappear.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Dude, dude, they can't answer nothing. You asked them that
- 9:44Speaker 1: same question two minutes earlier. They can tell you everything.
- 9:49Speaker 1: They can tell you everything. What comes between A and C?
- 9:55Speaker 1: If you have se what was the answer? B sir?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Be I knew b Ah. That's how it be.
- 10:17Speaker 9: It's just like if a you athletes out there, something
- 10:21Speaker 9: changes when coach say a time when we were just
- 10:25Speaker 9: out here doing them hundreds, it was like, you know,
- 10:28Speaker 9: then he came in talking about sixteen seconds, and it
- 10:31Speaker 9: seemed like the field got longer. I can't believe you
- 10:34Speaker 9: think we're supposed to get all the way down there
- 10:36Speaker 9: in sixteen seconds.
- 10:38Speaker 1: We're gonna get tired, bro, We're gonna be real tired
- 10:41Speaker 1: in a minute. We gotta get down there. I'm gonna
- 10:43Speaker 1: get a cry sixteen seconds.
- 10:46Speaker 9: But we were just running them in fourteen But something
- 10:49Speaker 9: about him to saying the sixteen seconds made the feel
- 10:53Speaker 9: longer and the breathing heavier, the expectations, the clock of
- 10:59Speaker 9: it seem to really.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Tighten you up.
- 11:04Speaker 9: But please hit us up, even if you have the
- 11:07Speaker 9: text us, hit us up online on the page your
- 11:11Speaker 9: definition of white privilege so we can read some different
- 11:14Speaker 9: things off as we talk about that later in the show,
- 11:18Speaker 9: when we do come back from break, we're going to
- 11:20Speaker 9: get into it. The NFL Hall of Famers, the w
- 11:23Speaker 9: NBA back in the thick of more controversy, as I
- 11:29Speaker 9: have been saying, more controversy than who is leading the
- 11:31Speaker 9: league in different statistics. Nobody even knows that kind of stuff.
- 11:37Speaker 9: And ESPN put out a Greatest Supervillain list for college football,
- 11:43Speaker 9: very interesting list of people that much more. On The
- 11:45Speaker 9: Sports Jock Show when we get back, I just.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Got to throw my ts on the tight my lace.
- 11:50Speaker 11: If it don't when I spit, everybody's gotta split like
- 11:55Speaker 11: tap of spray because I'm a brother that hate the settle.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Away or of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dan

- 13:09Speaker 16: start a conversation. Your family is going over to your
- 13:12Speaker 16: neighbor's home for dinner for the first time. How would
- 13:15Speaker 16: you ask if there are any unlocked guns in the home.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Hey, Hey, we're so excited for tonight.
- 13:20Speaker 16: Before we come over, though, may ask if there are
- 13:22Speaker 16: any unlocked guns in your home.
- 13:24Speaker 17: Our guns are stored securely, locked in a safe that
- 13:27Speaker 17: the kids can't access.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Awesome.

- 14:18Speaker 1: No no, no, no no. Now it's time to present the Jock
- 14:21Speaker 1: of the Day on the Sports Jock Show's taken it
- 14:23Speaker 1: to a completely different level this.
- 14:25Speaker 12: Year where we highlight an accolade that has taken their
- 14:28Speaker 12: game to the next level.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Here we go about yeah ess looking back to your
- 14:48Speaker 1: boy Shock show out this sports Shock Quayne Gandy, Happy
- 14:51Speaker 1: Monday to you, Command you Greg in the building.
- 14:54Speaker 9: The funny man Big Kenny is here as well. Guys
- 14:58Speaker 9: always come here for you to help me keeping up
- 15:01Speaker 9: within the note on especially things that deal with technology tech.
- 15:10Speaker 9: One of those people who sit around and try to
- 15:13Speaker 9: chime in or make anyone feel that I have been
- 15:18Speaker 9: keeping up with how to program and computerize and.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Edit. You got your Meta glasses yet? And the Meta glass?
- 15:29Speaker 1: No you med classes. I'm surprised that the US government
- 15:33Speaker 1: are even allowing allowed Meta to produce glasses. So you
- 15:37Speaker 1: don't have your metaglasses sync with your phone that's linked
- 15:42Speaker 1: to your other devices, so that you know, a meta glass.
- 15:47Speaker 9: Person should have to walk around with a badge that
- 15:50Speaker 9: says I'm wearing freaking metaglasses and now I'm walking into
- 15:56Speaker 9: the bathroom with you people. It should be literally where
- 16:00Speaker 9: the person you know how they're talking about open the gun,
- 16:03Speaker 9: open carry, open carry. It should be the same with metaglasses.
- 16:07Speaker 9: You should should have to definitely or they should have
- 16:11Speaker 9: to at least make the glasses in a color that
- 16:16Speaker 9: copyrighted color.
- 16:18Speaker 1: A copyright it can't be replicated color. Because I know people.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Let people know that what Greg has on. Oh, he
- 16:27Speaker 1: came in with some metaglasses and he's filming and recording.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Because I know people who have gotten metaglasses and have
- 16:33Speaker 1: used them without the other people's.
- 16:36Speaker 9: Because what do we do as humans? We take every
- 16:39Speaker 9: thing and find the evil in it. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 9: we will exploit it. We take every thing that's ever
- 16:47Speaker 9: been invented and find an angle to exploit, to exploit it.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Humans are problems. Someone just said, I feel like it
- 16:57Speaker 1: can be problematic. Elder Casey said that, and humans, I
- 17:01Speaker 1: was just about to say, are flawed. And wherever there
- 17:04Speaker 1: is an opportunity to make mistakes, humans will find that opportunity.
- 17:09Speaker 1: And like U sports jock, like I said, I know
- 17:12Speaker 1: people who have put them on and as an experiment
- 17:15Speaker 1: walked into a place to see how unrecognizable it would be,
- 17:20Speaker 1: to see how normal they could blend in. And they
- 17:23Speaker 1: recorded entire interactions with people and then shared it and
- 17:27Speaker 1: was like, man, these glasses are great. They translate language,
- 17:31Speaker 1: they do it's espionage. I mean for the average guy.
- 17:36Speaker 9: I can just it's in every spy movie we've ever watched.
- 17:42Speaker 9: When the character from Tom Cruise to James Bond to
- 17:47Speaker 9: any spy, they got some technology and typically has been
- 17:51Speaker 9: like glasses that they're able to walk into an event
- 17:57Speaker 9: and spy on people. When I see metal glasses, I
- 18:01Speaker 9: think spyware. Not Oh, you just wanted to record the moment.
- 18:07Speaker 1: No, you did not.
- 18:09Speaker 9: You wanted to be able to infiltrate and then record
- 18:16Speaker 9: someone not there, some coach or some team. Don't think
- 18:20Speaker 9: it won't spill over.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Don't think it won't.
- 18:22Speaker 9: Don't think it won't. Now some reporter and everybody knows.
- 18:25Speaker 9: I've been standing on this mountain for a while. I
- 18:28Speaker 9: don't know why you get to. Tom Brady gets on
- 18:33Speaker 9: the boat with his kids or whoever he wants to
- 18:36Speaker 9: get on a boat with, and you got your two
- 18:39Speaker 9: mile radius camera men and should be able to just
- 18:45Speaker 9: take pictures of him out on the bone is shot.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And then someone thought, why do you have to suffer
- 18:52Speaker 1: being two weeks away from Tom Brady? Get you some glasses.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Now you can get on the boat wedding because he
- 18:58Speaker 1: doesn't know that you're failing.
- 19:00Speaker 9: I'm pay yeah, the captain and the crew to wear
- 19:05Speaker 9: to wear the glasses. That's it, the glasses. And I'm
- 19:10Speaker 9: quite sure it happens to those that kind of group
- 19:13Speaker 9: of people that we just can't seem to get enough of,
- 19:16Speaker 9: where we just spy on their life when they're not
- 19:20Speaker 9: even doing the thing that we know them to do.
- 19:25Speaker 9: It's one thing to take a picture of him calling
- 19:27Speaker 9: a game or out on the field or doing their
- 19:29Speaker 9: concert or doing.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Their book signing. I was just out on the yacht.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I'm quite sure.
- 19:33Speaker 9: He goes back to his phone and women go back
- 19:35Speaker 9: to their phone. Famous people go back to their phone, like, man,
- 19:38Speaker 9: we just saw you on the news. Why you saw
- 19:40Speaker 9: on the news. I'm out on the boat fishing. Yeah,
- 19:43Speaker 9: that's what I saw you on the boat fishing. I
- 19:45Speaker 9: thought you were having a photo shoot. Thomas so the
- 19:49Speaker 9: metal glasses because I was going to ask you guys
- 19:52Speaker 9: when I read these articles, That's really what I wanted
- 19:55Speaker 9: to ask. And everybody's talking about a leak? Now is
- 20:01Speaker 9: it a leak? Or is it a pain informant? And
- 20:05Speaker 9: that I'm having to write under a leak?
- 20:09Speaker 4: What?
- 20:09Speaker 1: What is?
- 20:10Speaker 9: What is leak information? Like the NFL commissioner said it
- 20:15Speaker 9: was some leak information?
- 20:16Speaker 1: Is it a leak? Or did you get somebody in there?
- 20:20Speaker 1: How does it? Did I tell you that information? Now?
- 20:23Speaker 9: This is this is understand You're Roger Goodell, right, how
- 20:28Speaker 9: did your meeting? Your notes from your meeting leak to
- 20:34Speaker 9: the New York Post?
- 20:36Speaker 1: And this is just my opinion a leak is almost
- 20:41Speaker 1: akin to whistleblowing. Something is going on. Uh, someone overheard
- 20:50Speaker 1: a conversation, Someone looked over your shoulder. Someone became privy
- 20:57Speaker 1: to information that they were not supposed to become privy.
- 21:00Speaker 1: Two because of someone's negligence with the handling of that information,
- 21:05Speaker 1: they texted to the wrong person, They spoke it in
- 21:07Speaker 1: the wrong place. It got spoken on a microphone that
- 21:11Speaker 1: they thought was closed, but it was actually hot. But
- 21:14Speaker 1: for the notes that we took it nine oh five
- 21:18Speaker 1: to end up in your report at nine point fifteen,
- 21:21Speaker 1: that's not a leak. That is, like you said, that
- 21:24Speaker 1: is somebody on the inside reporting that. That is an undercover.
- 21:29Speaker 1: That is a plant.
- 21:29Speaker 10: That is a uh and with with metaglasses, it can
- 21:33Speaker 10: like copy the whole thing.
- 21:35Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Beca it's opdios now because this
- 21:40Speaker 1: established reality sports shop. We've had conversations here just giggling
- 21:45Speaker 1: and laughing that before we said stuff. We looked around.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Now but three of us the whole place, I ain't
- 21:52Speaker 1: know about three of us form of the next forty
- 21:54Speaker 1: five thousand square feet in this place. And we look around,
- 21:59Speaker 1: make sure ain't nobody list the nuts. So surely they
- 22:01Speaker 1: would do that the Rocher Goodelle meeting. Of course they would,
- 22:05Speaker 1: so for somebody to get that information. Oh man, I'm
- 22:09Speaker 1: selling it just like you were saying. I'm on the
- 22:11Speaker 1: boat wearing the glasses. You ain't got to hire me.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I'm hiring myself. I'm coming to you with Man, guess
- 22:17Speaker 1: what I do. I work on the boat around Tom
- 22:19Speaker 1: Brady and I got metaglasses.
- 22:22Speaker 9: So we'll be back more to Sports Shop show. Right
- 22:25Speaker 9: after this washing up.
- 22:27Speaker 11: I got some to discuss with the coming with the
- 22:30Speaker 11: tech with the air holes and them offul of flat.
- 22:37Speaker 7: Don't go awayne Boord of the Sports John Show with
- 22:40Speaker 7: Wayne Dandius.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Coming up next.
- 22:44Speaker 18: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 22:47Speaker 18: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 22:51Speaker 18: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 22:55Speaker 18: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 22:58Speaker 18: Come on, we're smarter than this. Let's put down the
- 23:01Speaker 18: phones and focus on the roads. Drive safe, everybody.

- 24:48Speaker 1: And now back to the sports Giant, Wayne Gandy.
- 24:55Speaker 2: In the red zone, taking it.
- 25:12Speaker 15: Back there and leaving no choice, she.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Says she was a model for you.
- 25:19Speaker 9: And back to spot Shock Shun the sport shock, Wayne
- 25:23Speaker 9: gain D. White privilege. Make sure you hit us up,
- 25:27Speaker 9: uh and let us know what's your definition of white privilege.
- 25:32Speaker 9: We're going to get into it.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Uh.
- 25:34Speaker 9: This center arounds the DJ Journey Carrington Sophie Conningham Indiana
- 25:40Speaker 9: fever once again in the news cycle head coach Stephanie White,
- 25:46Speaker 9: people calling for her to be fired.
- 25:49Speaker 1: The Florida A.
- 25:51Speaker 9: G saying that wanting the w n b A that
- 25:55Speaker 9: that kind of file. Djon A put on uh, Sophie
- 25:59Speaker 9: Connor in his state could get you charged with assault.
- 26:06Speaker 9: So a lot of different things coming out and of
- 26:11Speaker 9: this NWNBA season we're going to get into. We were
- 26:16Speaker 9: talking about leak that has something to do with the
- 26:19Speaker 9: WNBA story too, So when we get to it, I
- 26:23Speaker 9: just want to make sure I got other people's definitions
- 26:26Speaker 9: of that phrase white privilege. What is your definition of that?
- 26:34Speaker 9: But when I was talking about the leak thing, to
- 26:37Speaker 9: put a little bull on that. When I read it,
- 26:40Speaker 9: and I've read it a lot here lately, it seems
- 26:43Speaker 9: like almost something to me. The media outlets, the tmzs
- 26:48Speaker 9: of the world, the daily news is of the world,
- 26:51Speaker 9: are basically using as almost like how you have to say, allegedly,
- 26:58Speaker 9: they're using leak. But as we just discussed, it's leaked.
- 27:03Speaker 9: Really me just somebody came and sold me the story
- 27:06Speaker 9: because the word leaked for the nun for for me,
- 27:10Speaker 9: I can only speak for me, sounds like Roger Goodell
- 27:14Speaker 9: or Kathy Eganbert of the w n B A hit
- 27:18Speaker 9: the wrong button on their computer.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Command.
- 27:24Speaker 9: I'm keeping it simple for me. That's how you're You're
- 27:28Speaker 9: making it sound like they was in putting the information
- 27:34Speaker 9: and they put some wrong letter on who they were
- 27:39Speaker 9: sending it to. So I was I was sending it. Yeah,
- 27:44Speaker 9: I was sending it to gmail commanche Grail Greg at
- 27:49Speaker 9: gmail dot com. But it went to iCloud something like that.
- 27:53Speaker 9: That's how they make it seem like it was leaked,
- 27:55Speaker 9: like it was.
- 27:55Speaker 1: A mistake some somehow I'm negligent with the transference of
- 28:01Speaker 1: the information, with the relay of the information.
- 28:04Speaker 10: I think it's on par with the with anybody on
- 28:08Speaker 10: on Twitter that says something controversial, they say I was hacked,
- 28:14Speaker 10: and like, no, you said that. So I think when
- 28:17Speaker 10: they say it was leaked, no, you sent that and
- 28:21Speaker 10: the person you sent it to, you shouldn't have trusted
- 28:24Speaker 10: the NFL.
- 28:25Speaker 9: We're going to start on a high note. The NFL
- 28:28Speaker 9: Hall of Fame Game happened last Thursday up in Canton,
- 28:33Speaker 9: the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Carolina winning that preseason game.
- 28:41Speaker 9: On Saturday, they had the introduction of the this year's class.
- 28:46Speaker 9: The big names Drew Brees for the Saints, Adam Vinentoore
- 28:50Speaker 9: for the Patriots, Luke Kickley for the Carolina Panthers, Larry
- 28:58Speaker 9: Fitzgerald of the Cardinals, and someone for a older school
- 29:04Speaker 9: of people was kind of surprised, wasn't already in the
- 29:09Speaker 9: Great forty nine or running back Roger Craig getting in
- 29:14Speaker 9: almost thirty years after he retired, finally getting in somebody.
- 29:19Speaker 9: You would have thought Roger Craig was just that unique,
- 29:24Speaker 9: almost like Marshall Fault before Marshall Fault, one of those
- 29:28Speaker 9: combo guys that catch and run, you know, breaking away
- 29:34Speaker 9: from that traditional kind of herschel Walker, Barry. Even when
- 29:40Speaker 9: you look at Barry Sanders, he wasn't a big guy
- 29:42Speaker 9: in the past game. He wasn't Roger Craig with that
- 29:45Speaker 9: West Coast offense. Yes, it was an offense where the
- 29:50Speaker 9: back was a little slimmer, a little more, had a
- 29:55Speaker 9: little more wiggle in less power. Yeah yeah, and you
- 29:59Speaker 9: got him out hands better hands. He was always an
- 30:02Speaker 9: option for a past So now the Roger Craig style
- 30:06Speaker 9: we kind of call a third down back mm hm.
- 30:10Speaker 9: When you put him in a little third down back,
- 30:14Speaker 9: you wouldn't be surprised, you know. With the Atlanta Falcons
- 30:17Speaker 9: and all that money they just gave, It's something role
- 30:19Speaker 9: that I felt like they need to expand with a b.
- 30:21Speaker 9: Jon Robinson, right because he has that kind of different
- 30:26Speaker 9: different than a Dereck Henry. Dereck Henry is a throwback
- 30:30Speaker 9: to the old the hundred years of football, right, the
- 30:34Speaker 9: big power downhill. Most of his catches are going to
- 30:37Speaker 9: come in the screen game, you know, whereas the Marshall
- 30:42Speaker 9: fALS and those kind of guys. The Roger Craiggs, that
- 30:47Speaker 9: guy actually, yeah, Christian McCaffrey, that guy that actually ran
- 30:50Speaker 9: a route when he left, he ran a route.
- 30:55Speaker 1: He reminds me of a Roger Craig. Roger Craig had
- 30:57Speaker 1: spent how many years before he got in?
- 30:59Speaker 9: Uh is at least thirty? I think it was thirty thirty,
- 31:03Speaker 9: he's sixty six. And then what happens?
- 31:07Speaker 1: And we talked about the writers in their votes and
- 31:11Speaker 1: how some of their votes have negated, like a Bill
- 31:20Speaker 1: Belichick getting in. What happens in that time? When do
- 31:26Speaker 1: you think somebody just goes, Okay, we've hated on him
- 31:30Speaker 1: long enough. What was the turn? After thirty years?
- 31:36Speaker 9: I would think that running backs have evolved and then
- 31:41Speaker 9: you have to start going back and remembering to you know,
- 31:45Speaker 9: put a person's complete impact and not just like you know,
- 31:53Speaker 9: you got to see him as the runner like we're
- 31:57Speaker 9: just discussing. So no, the way he's and they're gonna
- 32:01Speaker 9: use him, he most likely is not going to lead
- 32:04Speaker 9: the league in rushing. That's not how he's meant to build.
- 32:09Speaker 9: That's not even the system of how he played. His
- 32:15Speaker 9: system was to be that dual threat.
- 32:17Speaker 1: That's why.
- 32:19Speaker 9: Someone like once I put a Marshall falk in, then
- 32:22Speaker 9: I gotta really start remembering, well, this is kind of
- 32:25Speaker 9: what Roger Craig was doing, right, and that's what Marshall
- 32:28Speaker 9: would do. That's why he would kill you. You got
- 32:31Speaker 9: this big slow linebacker in the here, Kurt Warner is
- 32:34Speaker 9: gonna check to a play like, oh, we got you
- 32:37Speaker 9: and tell Marsha to do that thing because he can't
- 32:39Speaker 9: keep up with him. So I don't switch the whole
- 32:41Speaker 9: play based on y'all left the wrong linebacker in here,
- 32:45Speaker 9: and Marshall would go run a route like you're saying
- 32:47Speaker 9: with Christian McCaffrey. And I think it just became an
- 32:50Speaker 9: appreciation for me. That's why I'm saying, even as a person,
- 32:53Speaker 9: I thought Roger Craig was in the Hall of Fame,
- 32:56Speaker 9: he had Super Bowls to put up numbers. Because sometimes
- 33:00Speaker 9: you have to also factor from me the numbers people
- 33:03Speaker 9: put in in their situation. If I'm out there in
- 33:07Speaker 9: that system and so many other options, that's all the
- 33:13Speaker 9: balls I was gonna get to. How impactful was I
- 33:19Speaker 9: when I got it. I wasn't gonna get the.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Ball right if I'm paying three touches per game anyway, Yeah.
- 33:27Speaker 9: Ja, I's worthy playing with magic and Kareem is always
- 33:33Speaker 9: going to be probably the third leading score not and
- 33:38Speaker 9: he's a Hall of Famer, but I'm saying, but so
- 33:40Speaker 9: his numbers are never going to kind of reflect the
- 33:44Speaker 9: lead guy kind of mentality.
- 33:46Speaker 1: It wouldn't. I was on the court with these other
- 33:50Speaker 1: two people. I see that.
- 33:52Speaker 9: So I gotta be able to kind of have to
- 33:54Speaker 9: really judge anyone for these Hall of Fames based on
- 33:59Speaker 9: opportunity and what they were doing.
- 34:03Speaker 1: You know.
- 34:03Speaker 9: I think that's why, like a Tory Holte hasn't gotten
- 34:07Speaker 9: in yet, because you can't. You gotta really, you gotta
- 34:10Speaker 9: add in. I was the third option. So how how
- 34:15Speaker 9: good of numbers did I do as the third option?
- 34:18Speaker 9: Your first option was Marshall, the second was Isaac Bruce.
- 34:23Speaker 9: I put these the numbers for third. It's kind of
- 34:26Speaker 9: like we talk about in the NBA with the sixth man, yes,
- 34:29Speaker 9: or how eventually baseball got around the putting the closer in.
- 34:34Speaker 1: You know, I can't judge want one one per.
- 34:40Speaker 9: Or they came in for six pitches, six pitches.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I got two outside and that's all they And that
- 34:47Speaker 1: was my career six pitches at the time. That's it.
- 34:50Speaker 9: I'm surprised that the Milwaukee Brewers haven't moved miss Missowski.
- 34:54Speaker 9: How you says Garowski to a closer, it might be
- 34:59Speaker 9: the most dominant thing that we've ever seen as a closer.
- 35:01Speaker 1: You're gonna send this dude who literally can throw.
- 35:09Speaker 9: Twelve fifteen hundred miles pour balls in a row.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yeah, not a game in a row. Doesn't that sound
- 35:18Speaker 1: like a crazy averages for a game? Doesn't that sound
- 35:21Speaker 1: like a crazy closer? So you're just gonna come feed
- 35:25Speaker 1: the next two batters one oh six. I sound like
- 35:31Speaker 1: I'm closing the game. I just gotta think about it.
- 35:35Speaker 1: The fact that he hadn't been made of closer, does
- 35:37Speaker 1: that just mean that that's the javel he's that he's
- 35:41Speaker 1: that good of a starter though, because I was gonna say,
- 35:45Speaker 1: is with the level of offense that he's facing in
- 35:51Speaker 1: these batters they need a guy like that, Like they
- 35:55Speaker 1: can't wait around to the seventh eighth inning to bring
- 35:58Speaker 1: him in because they might be so far behind it
- 36:00Speaker 1: wouldn't make a difference. But I think, like, didn't John
- 36:04Speaker 1: smokes in up like a closer?
- 36:06Speaker 10: It's three because I think he had Tommy John and
- 36:09Speaker 10: then when he came back, they already had their rotation,
- 36:12Speaker 10: so they put him as the closer. He did that
- 36:14Speaker 10: for like three years average like forty five saves a season.
- 36:19Speaker 9: And I'm saying right now, and he is as young,
- 36:22Speaker 9: and you go with it, but maybe he'll you get
- 36:25Speaker 9: another person, you get another kind of good quality.
- 36:30Speaker 1: You have the weapon to just close the door. Yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 1: and maybe he'll be like some of these other younger
- 36:36Speaker 1: athletes where I'm not going to risk waiting until I
- 36:40Speaker 1: come back from Tommy John. Hey man, why don't you
- 36:43Speaker 1: move me to closer now? Like we could really extend
- 36:46Speaker 1: my career if you move me to close a right
- 36:48Speaker 1: I need in an eight and nine from you. That's it,
- 36:52Speaker 1: that's it. Yeah, I could do that same pay. I
- 36:56Speaker 1: didn't say the pay with him, and it's the exact
- 36:59Speaker 1: same check. And and and we've seen a lot of
- 37:03Speaker 1: NFL guys retire early. NBA guys go into something else,
- 37:07Speaker 1: or at least reduce the amount of minutes that they
- 37:09Speaker 1: play to preserve their bodies, and maybe we'll start seeing
- 37:12Speaker 1: it in baseball. We'll be back more to Sports Shock
- 37:15Speaker 1: Show right after this.
- 37:17Speaker 11: Have all of y'all dressed up in a suit dead
- 37:19Speaker 11: in the fox. Me and my names get redded a
- 37:22Speaker 11: fox because now, kid, if I love you, I still
- 37:24Speaker 11: want head in the drop.

- 40:35Speaker 1: To a athlete, we quickly and it can happen once
- 40:42Speaker 1: a year, twice a year. The media, how people go
- 40:47Speaker 1: at the NFL, they're gonna make those one or two cases,
- 40:52Speaker 1: two thousand cases. Roger Craig, definitely, and as I said,
- 40:58Speaker 1: the CTE, the study, all those things to me have
- 41:02Speaker 1: to be almost test cases like you got to really
- 41:07Speaker 1: almost follow somebody, hopefully follow a person, and the other
- 41:12Speaker 1: factors of how dementia comes into a person's life. My father.
- 41:21Speaker 9: Got dementia at the age I am right now. By
- 41:27Speaker 9: the time he was sixty, he was in a home
- 41:31Speaker 9: with Alzheimer's, never played liquor football. So to me take
- 41:38Speaker 9: the factors of how he was living, which was no
- 41:42Speaker 9: cup needed no ice Clint Eastwood eighteen eighty one, saloon
- 41:50Speaker 9: type life.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And I judge it because we didn't all leave no
- 41:55Speaker 1: cup no ice. Et ain'ty one saloon type life. Am
- 41:58Speaker 1: I right?
- 41:59Speaker 6: Am?
- 41:59Speaker 1: I right in? And all that took it straight to
- 42:02Speaker 1: the head and kid and bust the neck? Am I right?
- 42:06Speaker 1: Is this meal about? I'm gonna just bust the neck.
- 42:12Speaker 1: I ain't gonna get greedy with it. I'm gonna just
- 42:14Speaker 1: get all this out the little neck of a bottle
- 42:16Speaker 1: on my first wig. That's me, y'all. Don't ain't nobody
- 42:20Speaker 1: but me. Okay, I can about your business. I can
- 42:23Speaker 1: barely take it in a strawberry dackory, so I know
- 42:26Speaker 1: I can't take it. Yeah, okay, don't worry about the
- 42:28Speaker 1: birthday party in y'all. Just invitations up. I sent down.
- 42:34Speaker 9: Uh so not minimizing Roger Craig and the men. I'm
- 42:37Speaker 9: just saying, like to me, the NFL, so they can
- 42:40Speaker 9: address those things as well, so they can be able
- 42:43Speaker 9: to put out there that because they're making it just
- 42:47Speaker 9: from the angle of the hits and the other particulars
- 42:51Speaker 9: of how dementia and those kind of things come.
- 42:55Speaker 1: About just living regular life. It doesn't take football. Because
- 43:01Speaker 1: until when and when I typed in vascular, I typed
- 43:05Speaker 1: in vas and vascular dementia popped up. So I guess
- 43:08Speaker 1: that's how much of a hot button trending topic it
- 43:12Speaker 1: is right now. And until he said that and you
- 43:16Speaker 1: related to us, I didn't know that there were levels
- 43:19Speaker 1: and types of dementia. Vascular dementia is declined in thinking skills,
- 43:23Speaker 1: caused by conditions that block or reduce blood flow and
- 43:27Speaker 1: oxygen to the brain. Causes and risk factors strokes, small
- 43:32Speaker 1: vessel disease, and medical conditions high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol,
- 43:37Speaker 1: and irregular heartbeats which is atrial fibrillation. And none of
- 43:41Speaker 1: that has to do anything with playing football. I mean,
- 43:43Speaker 1: there are a lot of people walking around with those
- 43:45Speaker 1: conditions right now, and they they didn't say any lifestyle factors, smoking,
- 43:52Speaker 1: lack of exercise, and poor diet, that that doesn't have
- 43:56Speaker 1: anything to do with football. So I got a personal right.
- 44:01Speaker 9: I got a personal horse in this race dealing with dad,
- 44:06Speaker 9: who I know didn't play no sports because he dropped
- 44:09Speaker 9: out of high school. I mean dropped out of school
- 44:11Speaker 9: in like that eighth grade, so we couldn't I don't
- 44:14Speaker 9: know football field and it was. It falls in line
- 44:19Speaker 9: with those facts, right. He was a gentleman that added
- 44:23Speaker 9: salt before tasting food. Imagine that. I imagine that. I
- 44:29Speaker 9: know so many you haven't even taken a bite of
- 44:32Speaker 9: the food. I used to do that, applied salt. I
- 44:34Speaker 9: used to do that. But that goes along with that
- 44:39Speaker 9: eighteen eighty one taking it to the head lifestyle.
- 44:43Speaker 1: It kills, It kills the taste bloods yeah. Yeah, So
- 44:49Speaker 1: for me to even feel food in my mouth, it's
- 44:51Speaker 1: got to have tons of sodium on it to wake
- 44:54Speaker 1: up my taste bud.
- 44:55Speaker 9: So hopefully Roger Craig, as he has own that he's
- 45:00Speaker 9: still going to be him as long as he can
- 45:02Speaker 9: be him in a sense, you imagine he's gonna I'm
- 45:06Speaker 9: not a great running back, I really owned. I know
- 45:10Speaker 9: Jerry Rice, Joe Montana, he retired in ninety three. Ricky
- 45:15Speaker 9: Waters picked up after he left off, and it was
- 45:19Speaker 9: that same I thought, Ricky Waters is a great running back.
- 45:22Speaker 9: I mean, for what it is that I need you
- 45:24Speaker 9: to do right. You know, some teams, I'm getting you
- 45:28Speaker 9: to lead the league in rushing. That's the style, and
- 45:31Speaker 9: it was set up like that. More so the West
- 45:36Speaker 9: Coast offense is kind of like I need you to
- 45:39Speaker 9: lead about every four games. We're gonna be so versatile. Yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 9: some games, yeah you will have. But like you were
- 45:47Speaker 9: saying with a Christian McCaffrey, they kind of still with Shanahan,
- 45:51Speaker 9: he still kind of runs that kind of dual running
- 45:54Speaker 9: back system with one guy instead of two guys. Because
- 45:58Speaker 9: typically to create that now you go get two running
- 46:00Speaker 9: backs and.
- 46:01Speaker 1: One who's good with his hands and one who's just
- 46:03Speaker 1: appear running back. But Christop McCaffrey, now, do you think,
- 46:08Speaker 1: because because we've known him to be injury prone and
- 46:12Speaker 1: sometimes be out of games, do you think people equate
- 46:15Speaker 1: that with his dual usage and they're trying to find
- 46:18Speaker 1: ways around losing such a valuable piece so many times.
- 46:25Speaker 1: I mean, because you know he'll get them out there
- 46:28Speaker 1: where they you know, six and two, and then he'll
- 46:31Speaker 1: be gone for the next five games. And then he'll
- 46:35Speaker 1: come back, like two games in the playoffs for some
- 46:37Speaker 1: of about three quarters and he'll show out and he
- 46:41Speaker 1: had to sit out for the next game.
- 46:43Speaker 9: So yeah, I definitely I think a little that is
- 46:47Speaker 9: Christian is not the biggest because the typically the guy
- 46:50Speaker 9: that does that is not the biggest of a bag. Right,
- 46:53Speaker 9: they're usually around which is still big, but they're more
- 46:56Speaker 9: than that to fifteen, yeah, two, twenty and not that
- 47:00Speaker 9: too forty right, So and trust me that twenty pounds
- 47:04Speaker 9: makes a difference.
- 47:05Speaker 1: He's running one. It's running in twenty pounds don't sound
- 47:10Speaker 1: like a lot in a grocery bag, like twenty pounds
- 47:13Speaker 1: of sound right when that grocery bag is hitting you
- 47:17Speaker 1: in the shoulder, it hurts.
- 47:19Speaker 9: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show. Remember hit
- 47:21Speaker 9: us up. Now, we're gonna get into it, giving commands
- 47:24Speaker 9: you Greg a couple more minutes to get his thoughts
- 47:26Speaker 9: right of how he's gonna say it.
- 47:29Speaker 1: What is white privilege? What is white priplet We'll be
- 47:31Speaker 1: back that the Sports Shock Show right after this. I'm
- 47:36Speaker 1: gonna put you a sound. So we're just trying to
- 47:37Speaker 1: get away with the casts like a kick, because it
- 47:39Speaker 1: ain't about the six rip. It's all about the paper
- 47:42Speaker 1: made the pull of these seats on the rides, like.
- 47:45Speaker 7: Don't boy, Wayne Board of the Sports John Show with
- 47:48Speaker 7: Wayne Dandy is coming up next.
- 47:52Speaker 23: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 47:54Speaker 23: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 47:58Speaker 23: It's a powerful opioate, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 48:01Speaker 23: with illiced drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 48:05Speaker 23: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 48:09Speaker 23: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 48:12Speaker 23: This isn't an AD to scare you, but it is
- 48:14Speaker 23: an AD to make you think twice. Get the facts.
- 48:17Speaker 23: Go to Real Deal on fentanyl dot com. This message
- 48:20Speaker 23: is brought to you by the Ad Council.
- 48:21Speaker 8: You wanted to be cool, which led you to smoking,
- 48:25Speaker 8: which led to a pack a day. Then you met
- 48:28Speaker 8: that special someone, which led to starting a life with them,
- 48:32Speaker 8: which led to wanting to live longer, which led to quitting.
- 48:36Speaker 8: Then you heard you maybe at risk for lung cancer,
- 48:39Speaker 8: which led you to getting a low dose CT scan.

- 48:52Speaker 12: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 48:55Speaker 12: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 48:58Speaker 12: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 49:02Speaker 12: life insurance.
- 49:03Speaker 24: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 49:04Speaker 24: just getting started with our family and thought, we live
- 49:07Speaker 24: forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 49:09Speaker 1: What about you?
- 49:10Speaker 14: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 49:12Speaker 24: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 49:14Speaker 24: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 49:16Speaker 24: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 49:18Speaker 24: the insurance informant.
- 49:19Speaker 12: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 49:22Speaker 12: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 49:25Speaker 24: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 49:27Speaker 24: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 49:29Speaker 12: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 49:32Speaker 12: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you

- 49:54Speaker 1: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gamdy.
- 49:58Speaker 5: Center Court on sports news gossip, blah blah blab bla.
- 50:10Speaker 2: We have that beast.
- 50:15Speaker 1: They're playing.
- 50:19Speaker 20: We have that.
- 50:24Speaker 1: They're playing where that.
- 50:35Speaker 9: Welcome back to this boy sock shower. I'm the spy shock.
- 50:37Speaker 9: Wayne Kingdy. Good morning to y'all there in this thing land.
- 50:41Speaker 9: Glad to be here with you on this Monday. As
- 50:43Speaker 9: we start uh this week with NFL preseason games here
- 50:49Speaker 9: in the state of Georgia. This weekend, you'll start getting
- 50:52Speaker 9: high school football games. Uh so, Uh football is back
- 50:58Speaker 9: in here in this stadium, quite sure if you check
- 51:00Speaker 9: a lot of states start here uh in the next
- 51:03Speaker 9: couple of weeks for high school. High school typically starts
- 51:06Speaker 9: before college around the country.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Uh.
- 51:09Speaker 9: And remember when you're watching this Georgia high school football, Uh,
- 51:14Speaker 9: you are watching the Travis Hunters. You can feel comfortably
- 51:19Speaker 9: that you're tuning in to people that's gonna wear the
- 51:22Speaker 9: shield in about five years they're gonna.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Have the shield. It's gonna be that same. You think
- 51:27Speaker 1: it's somebody different the A. J. Terrell's he was in TJ. Terrell.
- 51:33Speaker 9: He was thinking, that's another man. You know, he got
- 51:37Speaker 9: the same name as that boy that was over at Westlake. Yeah, Aj,
- 51:41Speaker 9: I wonder if they cousin, bro. That's the same guy,
- 51:44Speaker 9: AJ Terrell.
- 51:45Speaker 1: What was the guy who went to Clemson with the
- 51:48Speaker 1: long hair down in Jacksonville? Now, Trevor Lawrence law Trevor
- 51:52Speaker 1: Lawrence right here from this right here in uhat the
- 51:59Speaker 1: name eight nine know and six something from right here
- 52:02Speaker 1: in the Atlanta area, right here.
- 52:04Speaker 9: So don't think you you're watching high quality shield wearing
- 52:10Speaker 9: yes players, It's just it's the same person.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Greg.
- 52:13Speaker 9: I'm just trying to say, because you was scratching hit man.
- 52:15Speaker 9: You know, it was a kid over at Collins Hill
- 52:17Speaker 9: named Travis Hunter too. Now I wonder what happened to him. No,
- 52:20Speaker 9: that's the same.
- 52:22Speaker 1: There used to be a time when it would be like,
- 52:24Speaker 1: that's the same Travis Hunter that you're gonna hear about
- 52:27Speaker 1: going to a Alabama or Georgia or a Florida. Now
- 52:35Speaker 1: it's the same Travis Harnor that you're here about going
- 52:38Speaker 1: to Alabama and Georgia and Florida and then and then
- 52:42Speaker 1: to THEFL because they do a tour now they do
- 52:46Speaker 1: three four schools.
- 52:47Speaker 9: Now, Yeah, it's been different. The state of Georgia, it's
- 52:51Speaker 9: right there with Florida and Texas. As far as if
- 52:54Speaker 9: you look at how many players in the current NFL
- 52:58Speaker 9: from states, when you break it down, I think Georgia
- 53:01Speaker 9: the last year or the year before had the most
- 53:05Speaker 9: NFL players born player. So trust me, I'm just giving.
- 53:11Speaker 9: But the state, I have to give it its due
- 53:13Speaker 9: because I'm from a football state, which was Florida and
- 53:16Speaker 9: living here, it's right there there. It's just year to
- 53:21Speaker 9: year now which whether they flop from one to two,
- 53:24Speaker 9: two to one. As far as so you're watching the
- 53:27Speaker 9: same guy, Kenny said, yeah, it's the same Terral. You
- 53:31Speaker 9: don't got him confused with his brother, but his brother
- 53:33Speaker 9: in the NFL too. Yeah, so yeah, he kind of
- 53:36Speaker 9: he always think it's somebody else, but that's him. It's
- 53:38Speaker 9: the same. You got the same family. The Terrell brothers
- 53:41Speaker 9: out of Westlake went to high school. I had the
- 53:45Speaker 9: privilege of calling games and called both of their high
- 53:48Speaker 9: school games. So, and if I mean high school is
- 53:52Speaker 9: back in college is we're about two weeks away from that.
- 53:55Speaker 9: As Greg said, we one point zero or how did
- 53:59Speaker 9: you say?
- 54:00Speaker 1: They're doing it instead of instead of week zero, it's
- 54:04Speaker 1: the it's week one is actually two weekends of games.
- 54:10Speaker 1: But it's our first game and then my foot just
- 54:13Speaker 1: as it's counted the first but some.
- 54:16Speaker 10: But but day nine days apart. They're playing two games.
- 54:19Speaker 10: They're playing this Saturday the next Saturday. But it's just
- 54:22Speaker 10: week one. Run run the part lay on that it works.
- 54:27Speaker 1: I wanted to have that real stat.
- 54:29Speaker 9: Oh I thought I bet week one. No, no, I
- 54:32Speaker 9: put a thousand on week one. Yeah, right right, yeah,
- 54:36Speaker 9: they gotta win both games for you to win. Get
- 54:44Speaker 9: somebody shot right there.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I was about saying that that gets something jumped
- 54:47Speaker 1: off outside a little speak easy right there. You're playing
- 54:50Speaker 1: somebody's money, messing around.
- 54:52Speaker 9: But the NFL interesting story from the last couple of
- 54:55Speaker 9: days out in Land with kirku, the soft spoken known
- 55:02Speaker 9: around the league just a good guy, got into a
- 55:06Speaker 9: fight with Max Crosby, the tattoo wearing Van Halen style,
- 55:12Speaker 9: you know, beastie boy rough and rugged Max Crosby to
- 55:15Speaker 9: the end, But the story is not so much interesting
- 55:19Speaker 9: that two different types of personalities got to fight.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I'm used to that.
- 55:24Speaker 9: What I'm not used to is you're saying we can fight,
- 55:27Speaker 9: and then for fighting, we don't have to come to
- 55:30Speaker 9: practice tomorrow.
- 55:31Speaker 11: What's going on?
- 55:33Speaker 1: You say I get to stay home for fighting. That
- 55:36Speaker 1: used to seem like not the deterrent. That's I don't
- 55:39Speaker 1: think you intended. I'm confused, inspiring like, okay, you hit me,
- 55:47Speaker 1: I'm saying that they go kick us both. I remember
- 55:50Speaker 1: any incident in school where that was the You know,
- 55:54Speaker 1: if you get in trouble, you get sent home. And
- 55:57Speaker 1: I'm being an honest person said to the educated, I
- 56:00Speaker 1: don't think that's the deterrent. Y'all think you set it
- 56:04Speaker 1: up to be. Like, honestly, sending me home is kind
- 56:08Speaker 1: of why I be acting up in school because I
- 56:11Speaker 1: don't want to be here, and if you send me home,
- 56:13Speaker 1: that's why they in school suspension. There you go, because
- 56:17Speaker 1: sending them home isolate you.
- 56:20Speaker 9: We need to ice gonna put you in class for
- 56:22Speaker 9: six hours, just you and another guy or another woman
- 56:25Speaker 9: whoever you got into the.
- 56:26Speaker 10: Suffer with ignoring me at school. I went to there
- 56:30Speaker 10: were no windows in that classroom.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Oh boy, they hedge down there. Solitaire? Yeah that was obay,
- 56:37Speaker 1: Yeah they just waterboards you go. I'm saying, come on, man.
- 56:44Speaker 1: So when I read it, I'm like, okay, you know,
- 56:47Speaker 1: no practice what pay?
- 56:51Speaker 9: Yes, our contracts don't kick in until the season. So
- 56:55Speaker 9: I got to look that up because I'm like, so,
- 56:56Speaker 9: what did you take a practice check away? Would that'd
- 57:00Speaker 9: be like two hundred and fifty dollars? They pay you
- 57:02Speaker 9: two fifty to miss a practice.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. Remember in preseason, I have
- 57:06Speaker 1: to look.
- 57:06Speaker 9: At the pay scale. It's usually you might make like
- 57:10Speaker 9: twenty five three grand. Everybody gets the same weekly. Everybody
- 57:15Speaker 9: in camp gets the same check. It doesn't matter whether
- 57:17Speaker 9: you're a superstar or anybody just trying out, you get
- 57:21Speaker 9: the same check. Whatever that pay is three thousand, four
- 57:26Speaker 9: thousand dollars a week. It's not your official checks that
- 57:31Speaker 9: you signed your contract for. So but I saw the
- 57:35Speaker 9: store and I'm like, so we get the you kicked
- 57:37Speaker 9: us out of this practice, and we get I was
- 57:40Speaker 9: thinking maybe the Raiders staged it and just wanted both
- 57:43Speaker 9: of them to have days off, because I've never even
- 57:45Speaker 9: heard we meant get to sit out the next practice too.
- 57:51Speaker 9: You're teaching us a lesson. Kirk cousin and almost forty
- 57:54Speaker 9: years old. What lesson would he be learning from this?
- 58:00Speaker 1: Because uh, probably and the falcons set him up for life,
- 58:06Speaker 1: and he scrambling. He probably at home reaching out to
- 58:09Speaker 1: people on social media trying to make him mad. Anybody
- 58:11Speaker 1: want summer? Kurt step up tomorrow because he's thinking, I'm
- 58:15Speaker 1: gonna take the whole month off. I don't know. Kirkman
- 58:18Speaker 1: down here with the water boy.
- 58:19Speaker 10: It just looks like Max Crosby broke the rule and
- 58:22Speaker 10: practice of touching the quarterback, so I get to.
- 58:27Speaker 1: Not practice that. I know that's the rule, that's been
- 58:32Speaker 1: the rule since the age of time. But still, and
- 58:35Speaker 1: maybe you need more practice because we'll be back Water Sports,
- 58:40Speaker 1: Shock Show, White Privilege. It's coming up in the next hour.
- 58:43Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this.
- 58:46Speaker 2: And all these tracking labels jerking and you never was
- 58:49Speaker 2: a start.
- 58:50Speaker 1: You don't work.
- 58:50Speaker 2: And when you heard that right there, I started that hand.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Don't make me push something up, don't.
- 58:57Speaker 7: Go Awayne Bar of the Sports Josh Hill with Wayne
- 59:00Speaker 7: videos dumping up.
- 59:01Speaker 4: Maxx ever tried balancing a dozen eggs in one hand
- 59:05Speaker 4: while hopping on one foot, or maybe juggling cats while
- 59:08Speaker 4: riding the unicycle. Sounds ridiculous, right, but guess what. That's
- 59:13Speaker 4: exactly what texting while driving is like. Your human brain
- 59:16Speaker 4: only has the capacity to focus on one thing at
- 59:18Speaker 4: a time, So when you're behind the wheel, give driving
- 59:21Speaker 4: your undivided attention.
- 59:23Speaker 25: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 59:26Speaker 25: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the
- 59:30Speaker 25: AD Council.
- 59:33Speaker 14: I actually dropped better when I'm high. If anything, I'm
- 59:36Speaker 14: more careful.
- 59:37Speaker 26: That's probably what the driver who killed a four year
- 59:39Speaker 26: old told himself, and now he's in prison. If you
- 59:42Speaker 26: feel different, you drive different. Don't drive high. Brought to
- 59:46Speaker 26: you by NITZA and the AD Council.
- 59:48Speaker 27: You said you'd never buy your kid candy from the
- 59:51Speaker 27: checkout aisle, or forget extra diapers, and never give into
- 59:57Speaker 27: a meltdown. You'd never lick your thumb to clean their face,
- 1:00:04Speaker 27: never let them have too much green time, and never
- 1:00:08Speaker 27: bribe them for just one more bite. You say you'd
- 1:00:13Speaker 27: never let them out in public without their hair brush,
- 1:00:17Speaker 27: never ever become a minivan mom, and you'd never give
- 1:00:21Speaker 27: them your phone for a quiet dinner calling boss work phone.
- 1:00:27Speaker 27: So when you say you'd never leave your child in
- 1:00:29Speaker 27: a hot car, no, it can happen. Cars get hot fast,
- 1:00:35Speaker 27: and kids can be at risk in temperatures as low
- 1:00:37Speaker 27: as sixty degrees fahrenheit. Never happens before you leave the car.
- 1:00:43Speaker 27: Always stop. Look luck brought to you by NITZA and
- 1:00:47Speaker 27: the AD Council.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: I'll have any serious sup and we hold the world.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Ransom for excuse me while I wiped this out shoot
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: broadcasting live and it letter Georgia. This this is the
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Sports chok Ship with Wayne Candy. You may began, fill
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: me up? Can you bring me a show?
- 1:01:18Speaker 28: Week time, have come to fun, comes to contact.
- 1:01:21Speaker 24: Get comes to mark.
- 1:01:22Speaker 27: Is it just.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna go on the way
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: you may pill Vegan tell me welcome back to the
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: sport Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock.
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: Wayne Candy, Good morning, tell you out there in this
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: thing land. Glad to be here with you. On this
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: August Monday. As we roll up into the first weekend
- 1:01:49Speaker 9: or something, Greg was trying, we're week one, but we
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: are week two. I guess this would be week two
- 1:01:57Speaker 9: because the Hall of Fame game will be in week
- 1:01:59Speaker 9: one preseason, that's its own week.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Cec asking all of those questions is how the commissions
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: get involved. You're just right now, You're just supposed to
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: be excited about football, sir. You focus on the wrong thing.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You asked some questions about setups and saying words like
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: barlay and before you know it, somebody who just got
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: a job to do. They weren't even paying no attention.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Go wait a minute, those sound.
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: Like it's a senate hearing now, and now they.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Wondering how they leave in the middle of the night
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: without informing his coach.
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: So we are getting close to preseason action, which I
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: think this week games start on Thursday night. As I
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: was saying at the beginning, most preseason games are Thursday
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: night and Friday night with high school football, at least
- 1:02:54Speaker 9: in this state. Check you just google real quick, and
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: I'm quite sure, and I'm quite sure most people know
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: if you have any kid, the game is this weekend
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: here in Georgia they kick off. So football a couple
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: of days from really really being back as far as
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: live action or something for you to watch. With college
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: football about two weeks away from their Week one one
- 1:03:23Speaker 9: that Greg talked about right. They put out a super
- 1:03:28Speaker 9: villain list of all time college football. Very interesting list.
- 1:03:34Speaker 9: Some guys I didn't necessarily have a villain, definitely didn't
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: have them as super villain.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: And then some of them were the Joker. You really
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: could see the Riddler and in some of these names.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: In compiling this list, did they give any prerequisite for
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: being able to make the list? What did you have?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: How dastardly did you have to be? Every great story
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: requires a great villain and Darth Vader?
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: They even used the no nose wizard who fights Harry
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Potter Baltimore, Baltimore. That's how you say his name? Yea,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Lord Baldemore. I thought you weren't supposed to say it.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I see they're in trouble. Now show you how many
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: times I shall not be named? Okay, okay, man, my bad.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I'm right here following you thinking you know you're following me.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I'm killed the neck of the bottle guy. I'm eighteen
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: eighty five, saloon guy. Why are you even listening to me? Uh?
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: But God, devilish dudes, as they've kind of the guys
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: that you, as a fan, might use one of your fingers.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:04:49Speaker 9: At supervilla. Now that's why I said some of these
- 1:04:51Speaker 9: guys I didn't really uh you know, I didn't. They
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: didn't have so number ten they had was Caleb Williams,
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: the now quarterback of the Bears. I didn't have him
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: as a villain. I didn't particularly like him jumping up
- 1:05:05Speaker 9: in the stands after that loss, you know, crying. Uh well,
- 1:05:12Speaker 9: it wasn't even so much he was. He was kind
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: of like Crater like she was rocking in something. If
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: he was hugging her like this time, that would have been.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: But he was kind of curled up and what you
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: call that that position that that kind of threw what
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: their their description for him, it just sounds a little
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: bit like just hating. Because he transferred and then it's
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: the era of n I L and he's in these
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: all these commercials and then he wins the Heisman.
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: They had him at number ten. At nine, you can
- 1:05:46Speaker 9: get the villain, especially if you remember the player at
- 1:05:51Speaker 9: Florida State, Dion Sanders.
- 1:05:55Speaker 8: He had.
- 1:05:59Speaker 9: He wasn't a super villain, I wouldn't say at Florida State,
- 1:06:01Speaker 9: but he was a villainy.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: He was routy, roddy piper. You know, he wasn't a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: bad guy. Bad guy, but he wasn't all the way
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: that good. He was brash the money he was getting.
- 1:06:14Speaker 9: I think he had somehow a little contract with the
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: Yankees or something back then. Yeah, so he was very
- 1:06:20Speaker 9: he was he's the dion that he is now, but
- 1:06:22Speaker 9: he was in college. He didn't take away. He was
- 1:06:25Speaker 9: confident in his ability. The thing that made him great.
- 1:06:28Speaker 9: It's also the thing that people kind of rubbed people
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: the wrong way. He wasn't gonna step away from. But
- 1:06:34Speaker 9: I didn't have a super villain, but I could see
- 1:06:36Speaker 9: how you had him in a villain. He number eight,
- 1:06:42Speaker 9: Tim Tebow, It's touchdown.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: This is this is the man. Don't even curse. I
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: think the I think he apologizes for scoring on you.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: I think this is guys who uh really started to
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: benefit from money coming out to college.
- 1:07:00Speaker 9: And that's what it sounds like so far. How do
- 1:07:03Speaker 9: you have a man on the list that would apologize
- 1:07:05Speaker 9: for score?
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: Yeah, and he like with the Christian Coalition of Athletes
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Forever or something like that. You Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I scored it on you. I'm sorry. Hang in there.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: They told me to. That was a great throwing it off.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: That was a great block. Though you threw a great block,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: you just threw it on the wrong guy. You got
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: to pay more attention. Be aware. It's gonna work out.
- 1:07:26Speaker 9: Because if you had stepped up and then I wouldn't
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: have done that. He's apologizing for you.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: And helping you with tips on how to catch him.
- 1:07:33Speaker 9: Almost the complete opposite of Deon Sanders. Deon Sanders is
- 1:07:39Speaker 9: going to dance on you, Tim praying for you. And
- 1:07:42Speaker 9: what number is Tim? He's number eight? Okay, that's number seven?
- 1:07:46Speaker 9: Is the whole company? ESPN? They they got then as
- 1:07:52Speaker 9: themselves a super villain. Now imagine this. This the real
- 1:07:55Speaker 9: report I'm reading is from ESPN College Football actually telling
- 1:08:00Speaker 9: you the.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: People see them as a as a super villain. I
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: have to give them, right. That is true. The whole
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: college football program of Notre Dame just not a year.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: This is kind of low. Where are they?
- 1:08:17Speaker 25: Er?
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: They're number six is Notre Dame? Notre Dame is number
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: six because they've been Hey, we'll just play in our
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: own league forever, haven't they like? Yeah, we don't ally
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: with anybody. We got God on ours. We're a new touchdown. Yeah,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: we got touchdown Jesus, who needs a conference?
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: Now we're getting to it. The first I would say
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: super villain. We've had a couple of villains when we
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: had some people that shouldn't have been on there in
- 1:08:43Speaker 9: my opinion. But at five they have the nineteen ninety
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: Miami Hurricane, and I can see why. Now this team
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: just one game, this team really was, you know, take that,
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: tell you, mama, I'll be by for a plate later.
- 1:09:08Speaker 9: I think they even got celebration band. I think there's
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: the reason for those rules where the rules of celebration
- 1:09:16Speaker 9: they where you can't do nothing when you go into
- 1:09:18Speaker 9: its own in college anymore. They're the ones who actually
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: got that. After their season, we're gonna need to institute
- 1:09:26Speaker 9: some laws because they've taken it way too far.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: So that whole program, what was which one was that
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: the Barry or the Jimmy team?
- 1:09:37Speaker 9: That was a Dennis Arson who was totally about letting
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: them be them at for is the Boss, Brian Bosworth,
- 1:09:50Speaker 9: the cocaine steroid, all kinds of allegations against Commanche Hero
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: because you know Commanchie greg is from Oklahoma.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: That don't mean our root for the song. I thought
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: he was a balls you know the ball no, okay, okay, okay,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: when the balls had it, the balls had it? He did,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: he did.
- 1:10:13Speaker 9: Number three is Johnny Football. You got Johnny Football, guys, super.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Villain Johnny Football. He is too high on the list. Yeah,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: because there's a super villain. He's kind of like a
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: super villain sidekick. You know what I'm saying. He ain't
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: really no villain, He's just kind of in the way.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: He's more just he he's gargameles as real, you know
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: what I mean, just always co signing either two.
- 1:10:52Speaker 9: Lane Kiffin supervillain. Okay, do you know anyone that likes
- 1:10:58Speaker 9: Lane Kiffin? I can name more people who don't.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Giving out.
- 1:11:05Speaker 9: Lsu just left, oh Miss had big issues at USC
- 1:11:12Speaker 9: Who was that also Tennessee Tennessee. He was there at
- 1:11:15Speaker 9: Tennessee for one season.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: One season understood, he said, people just don't read him right.
- 1:11:25Speaker 9: So at ten Caleb Williams nine, Deon Sanders eight, Tim
- 1:11:31Speaker 9: Tebow seven, ESPN as the Company, six, Notre Dame five,
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: the nineteen ninety Miami Hurricanes for the Balls, three, Johnny Football, Manzelle, two,
- 1:11:49Speaker 9: Lane Kiffin, and the number one super villain in this ranking,
- 1:11:58Speaker 9: The head ball coach.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Steve spur They have rated as the number one super villain. Now,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: if you were going to move anyone up or down
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: or remove them from the list, who would it be.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: How would you manage with this list? What would you do?
- 1:12:19Speaker 9: I would take Tim Tebow completely off, completely as anything
- 1:12:27Speaker 9: on here, and I would move Johnny Manziel down a
- 1:12:31Speaker 9: little bit. So so you're okay with barrier kipping people
- 1:12:38Speaker 9: I think they ought to be A ball coach will
- 1:12:40Speaker 9: be up fifty sixty zero and he's still in shotgun.
- 1:12:47Speaker 9: Come on, he really tell you, well, stop it. Well,
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: I'm saying to me, that makes sense.
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: No for me to come into your house and look
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: at your mama and say I'm gonna make sure that
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I'm here for your boy through thinking thing, and then
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: by morning be gone to a whole nother program.
- 1:13:08Speaker 7: Yeah, it just.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Seemed like a little more diabolical to me, because I'm
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: knowing I'll leave you as soon as as I can.
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: A couple of dis honorable, as they said, mentions a
- 1:13:20Speaker 9: couple of names that they considered Baker Mayfield, Diego Pavia,
- 1:13:27Speaker 9: Phil Fumer, Ryan Leaf, Maurice Clorette, Jameis Winston, Hugh Freeze
- 1:13:35Speaker 9: who just left Auburn uh in the n C Double A,
- 1:13:39Speaker 9: just the whole n C Double A as a group.
- 1:13:43Speaker 9: Honorable mentions are dishonorable mentions.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Hold on the one before Jameis Winston, who was that
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: Maurice Clorette, Or yeah, I understand why he he he.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: I don't see how he didn't get on the list.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Like you should have been in the top five. I'm
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: saying I ain't saying you you would have been number one,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: but you should have been right there with Lane. We'll
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: be back more to sports Doc children after this never
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: had a whack versus non reaction.
- 1:14:10Speaker 11: We're saying a wow you But to steal that is
- 1:14:13Speaker 11: gat verse.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: You never got to just less everybody feel like that?
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: Or is he just don't go awayne or of the
- 1:14:21Speaker 7: sports Josh Hill with Wayne Dantidius coming up next.
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: But that means that do not to stop jiving and
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: when you going, I need you to stay, say please
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: don't always signet me.
- 1:14:36Speaker 11: So that means that do not to stop.
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: And when you going, I need.

- 1:16:52Speaker 9: Welcome back to this word shock shop, this work shock
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: Wayne gan d A couple of birthdays here from yesterday.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: They in the start the week off John Morant, who
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: is now in Portland.
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: It's got traded by the Memphis Grizzlies looking for a
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: new start out in Portland, twenty seven years old John Starks.
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: One of the famous New York Knicks of the nineties
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: is sixty one. Andre Drumming, who's been in the NBA
- 1:17:25Speaker 9: since he was eighteen he's moved around a lot of
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: teams big center, and really the only thing happened with
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: Andre Drumming is by time he got drafted, they stopped
- 1:17:36Speaker 9: using that style of center. If he had played in
- 1:17:41Speaker 9: the two thousands, you probably would hear him big athletic,
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: somebody would have used him. But by the time he
- 1:17:48Speaker 9: started his career, the center that shoots threes at the Djokovic,
- 1:17:55Speaker 9: the joker joking style center had come along, come along,
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: and they stopped posting centers and stuff like that. So
- 1:18:05Speaker 9: he's had a career where he's had to try to
- 1:18:07Speaker 9: move into a more of a power forward Draymond Green
- 1:18:12Speaker 9: type guy.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: He started to shoot threes, but that's kind of weird
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: to be asked to do that after you've come into.
- 1:18:20Speaker 9: Antonio Benderi sixty six, Kylie Jenner is twenty nine, Angie
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: Harmon fifty four, Dalvin Cook thirty one, Ridick Bowle former Champ,
- 1:18:32Speaker 9: is fifty nine, Michael Bivens is fifty eight. Thor Chris Hemsworth,
- 1:18:40Speaker 9: which surprised me. He's only forty three. It's always had
- 1:18:45Speaker 9: that grown man.
- 1:18:47Speaker 15: The Thor.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Yeah, chrism Yeah, he's forty three years old and he
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: ben thor for like fifteen years. Hey even thorw for
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: a minute now, but you know he from as God No, okay,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: so he actually probably it has gard years. That's like
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: fourteen thousand years old. But just here it's Howe forty
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: forty three. It might be Hollywood Hollywood ad.
- 1:19:15Speaker 9: Dwayne Martin is sixty one. Viola Davis is also sixty one.
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: Patty Mills is thirty eight. Sho Rogan fifty nine. Marvin
- 1:19:29Speaker 9: Harrison Junior or twenty four of the Cardinals. Sam Elliott,
- 1:19:32Speaker 9: great actor in around a long time, always played that
- 1:19:36Speaker 9: cowboy role to a team eighty two years old. Shemika
- 1:19:41Speaker 9: hols Claw is forty nine. Derek Fisher is fifty two.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Emmy A.
- 1:19:47Speaker 9: Dooco is forty nine. The head coach of the Rockets
- 1:19:52Speaker 9: from Jillian Anderson, What was that show she was on?
- 1:19:57Speaker 9: X File X Fixe is fifty eight. Melanie Griffith is
- 1:20:02Speaker 9: sixty nine. The only reason I thought about Melanie Griffin
- 1:20:06Speaker 9: being sixty nine she kind of really vanished from acting,
- 1:20:11Speaker 9: and I couldn't think of anything I've really seen her
- 1:20:14Speaker 9: in in two decades. I was trying to just mentally
- 1:20:18Speaker 9: without looking it up, of the kind of.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Did she make some sort of announcement of why she
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: had stepped back at one time. This has been a
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: while to the point I can't remember the last like
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: real major movie because she was with Antonio Benders for
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: a while. Yeah, yeah, and they broke up. Yeah, they
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: were together for a while.
- 1:20:40Speaker 9: And she had the torch. I mean, if she wanted
- 1:20:43Speaker 9: the role, it was her sixty nine years old. Anna
- 1:20:46Speaker 9: Kendrick is forty one, Rono Mitra is fifty, Curtis blow
- 1:20:52Speaker 9: sixty seven, MAP ten fifty five, Doug Williams seventy one,
- 1:21:00Speaker 9: JaMarcus Russell is forty two. Eighton Hutchinson the defensive end
- 1:21:06Speaker 9: for the Lions is twenty seven, and as we mentioned
- 1:21:10Speaker 9: as one of the super villains, Dion Sanders is fifty
- 1:21:15Speaker 9: nine years old. It's prime. That's it time, Okay, Yeah,
- 1:21:22Speaker 9: that's legit. I went to the first when I was
- 1:21:27Speaker 9: coming out of high school. They was recruiting me. I
- 1:21:29Speaker 9: went up to Florida State. First game I ever went
- 1:21:31Speaker 9: to was in eighty eight and Dion was Michael junior.
- 1:21:39Speaker 9: This right before he left right not a senior year,
- 1:21:41Speaker 9: as junior, because he left his as a junior. So
- 1:21:47Speaker 9: fifty nine years old. It's prime because if he was
- 1:21:50Speaker 9: sixty you would remember it. And he's got such a
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: more presence. Yeah, some kind of guy from Saturn come in.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: All that is, we're gonna hear about this with his song,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: with his Dion sixty songs only time. I'm gonna change
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: my numbook and a ka, my man Fish Noah Watson
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: five years old, five years old, that is Noah. His
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: nickname is fish, yeah, big fish. Yeah, my god, right there.
- 1:22:22Speaker 9: Man, I'm sadly say my best one of my best
- 1:22:24Speaker 9: friends growing up, his nickname was fish.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: Yeah, he's a biller. Though we're still on the fence
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: for times, say we explored future options like fifteen years yeah,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: because they deported him. Jeff Maicer, I ain't trying to
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: put nothing on. I'm just saying I ain't trying to
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: put nothing known. The boyars he got. He got my
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: grandson named Noah, and he got a lively spirit. Now
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: now every day he in trouble. So I'm saying, I
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: don't know if that's a precursor, but every day he
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: go on lockdown for something. So so I'm just giving
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you time to maybe changing it, changed the nicknames. I
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: think it's just stuck by not if I have known that,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: maybe that would have explained some of his past behavior.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: But yeah, we are a little locked in the fish
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: right now. So the only fish grew up with a
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: fish man. Every fish I know is like this fish.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Every fish I know has been that fish. So yeah,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: we we on pace a little cluck in Angie Harmon. Yeah,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: she generational talent. Yeah, and how did she today? And
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: all of them?
- 1:23:32Speaker 12: And she was.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: And she was in one of those SVU type shows
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: when the uh the original Law and Order. She married
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: the cornerback for the Giant Jason Jon Sea Horn and
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: only fifty four years old, still looking good. She knows
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: how to run around you feel me, I'm saying she
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: used to crime. She used to run it route on
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: a slant on Jason. Hey, daddy, is that that's the
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: one I need in my life? Right there?
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: And Ji Arman, we'll be back White privileges on deck
- 1:24:09Speaker 9: next command you Greg getting nervous.
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: I think we're gonna start with Greg White girlfriend next
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: to it right now. I know you're not going to
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: answer that absurd question. We'll be back to sports Jock
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: show right after this. Warm at the water and not
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: get wet beheaded. Everybody's run.
- 1:24:39Speaker 7: John Boy, Wayne Board of the Sports Jos Show with
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: Wayne dandyis coming up next.
- 1:24:45Speaker 15: All right, son, tem to put out this campfire?
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: God, we learned about this in school. Oh did you know? Okay,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: what's first?
- 1:24:52Speaker 4: Smokey Bear said.
- 1:24:53Speaker 28: To first drown it with the bucket of water, then
- 1:24:56Speaker 28: stirred with the shovel. Wow, you sound just like him,
- 1:25:00Speaker 28: and he said, if it's still warm, then do it again.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Where can I learn all this?
- 1:25:05Speaker 28: It's all on smokeybear dot com with other wildfire prevention tips,

- 1:25:27Speaker 31: Hey, I'm worried about mom. She keeps forgetting her famous
- 1:25:30Speaker 31: sweet potato pie recipe.

- 1:25:52Speaker 31: to feel like I could protect myself. I hadn't thought
- 1:25:54Speaker 31: about the danger of an unlocked gun in my own
- 1:25:56Speaker 31: home too.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Meaware your napkins, not that drawer unless anyone.

- 1:26:44Speaker 11: got to use the scale that they weigh the whales.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: With cousins on the g.
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: Hope you get the picture, but you.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Just can't fold the lights herman walk back to this
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: one shock shote, this woe shock Wayne Candy, good morning
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: to you, uh the entire all our show.
- 1:27:00Speaker 9: At different times I've asked you for your definition of
- 1:27:04Speaker 9: white privilege. This comes up not because it was something
- 1:27:08Speaker 9: I was wrestling with or wanted to talk about, but
- 1:27:11Speaker 9: in the media watching the game the other day, actually
- 1:27:15Speaker 9: watching this game. As I told you, typically if you watch,
- 1:27:19Speaker 9: if you catch me, I'm probably watching an Indiana Fever
- 1:27:22Speaker 9: game against anybody because Caitlyn Clark brings a certain tension
- 1:27:30Speaker 9: to the game. If you ever want to see effort
- 1:27:35Speaker 9: and desire, it's when somebody takes on Caitlyn Clark. Oh,
- 1:27:42Speaker 9: I'm watching a Vegas Aces game, watching what Aga wood.
- 1:27:46Speaker 9: Those are typically now if your team plays them, I
- 1:27:49Speaker 9: caught your team, and those are the two teams I
- 1:27:51Speaker 9: typically will stop or even make a notation in my
- 1:27:55Speaker 9: head that their game comes on. This is one of
- 1:27:57Speaker 9: the games I did get to catch and out of
- 1:28:01Speaker 9: this game early on djon A. Carrington fouled aggressively Hord
- 1:28:13Speaker 9: Sophie Cunningham ord to the fact that comand you Greg
- 1:28:20Speaker 9: Big Kenny. When I watched to play, all I can
- 1:28:25Speaker 9: think is they threw her out the game for that.
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: Like it was hard. It was it wasn't attention, it
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: was Hord.
- 1:28:33Speaker 9: Because it all it met really three qualifications that no
- 1:28:37Speaker 9: matter when you play w NBA, NBA college basketball, uh,
- 1:28:43Speaker 9: the chase down rule has been in effect for a while,
- 1:28:45Speaker 9: meaning the breakaway move. If you're behind the person, you
- 1:28:50Speaker 9: basically now have to let them go or have to
- 1:28:53Speaker 9: have some super effort to get in front of them.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Djon A.
- 1:28:56Speaker 9: Carrington did not catch up to so cunning hand. She
- 1:29:01Speaker 9: wound up when she went to jump to block the ball,
- 1:29:05Speaker 9: and she pulled her arm back brutally across the nose,
- 1:29:11Speaker 9: eye and mouth slammed her bicep like a close line
- 1:29:21Speaker 9: as she did hard, hard, or so hard she couldn't eat.
- 1:29:27Speaker 9: She didn't even get to a temp to land on
- 1:29:30Speaker 9: her feet hard. That's how far she hit her. She
- 1:29:33Speaker 9: hit her to the point is she didn't get to
- 1:29:35Speaker 9: hit her feet. She hit her right hip on the court,
- 1:29:40Speaker 9: jumped up. They did a review said it was a
- 1:29:44Speaker 9: flagrant too. I couldn't understand why Djene was or the
- 1:29:48Speaker 9: coaching staff or anybody was even questioning whether she was leaving.
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Uh. She left, went to the locker room. And I'm
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: not laughing. Immediately, I'm watching a video and I'm not laughing,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: but I'm just the absurdity is what I'm laughing, the
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: absurdity of trying to debate any of this.
- 1:30:14Speaker 9: Went to the locker room and report said, comanch you
- 1:30:17Speaker 9: Greg big Kenny oil listeners, that djen a text that
- 1:30:26Speaker 9: Sophie Cunningham basically was white privilege, that she was only
- 1:30:36Speaker 9: seemed like she was framing it up to say that
- 1:30:38Speaker 9: only reason I got throughout was that I did it
- 1:30:42Speaker 9: to Sophie Cunningham, and Sophie Cunningham benefits from white privilege.
- 1:30:51Speaker 9: I didn't have white, black, brown, or any color in
- 1:30:57Speaker 9: this file, but I did have you being thrown out,
- 1:31:00Speaker 9: and I did have you even maybe possibly getting a
- 1:31:05Speaker 9: game suspension, like it was that kind of foul, like
- 1:31:07Speaker 9: you know, and you probably benefited that it happened early
- 1:31:11Speaker 9: and you missed so much of this game that the
- 1:31:14Speaker 9: commissioner was like, Okay, you did kind of serve the
- 1:31:17Speaker 9: one game suspension. But guys, we hear this, and there's
- 1:31:23Speaker 9: been different reports, and this is waking up in the
- 1:31:26Speaker 9: last couple of days. As I was saying, the Attorney
- 1:31:30Speaker 9: General down in Florida after this play made a statement
- 1:31:33Speaker 9: to WNBA teams that come to play in the state
- 1:31:37Speaker 9: of Florida that this borderline being assault charge. We've had
- 1:31:46Speaker 9: different people wait in about how Stephanie White should be fired.
- 1:31:51Speaker 9: The head coach of the fever because she was kind
- 1:31:54Speaker 9: of really didn't admonish vision A Carrington, somebody she has
- 1:32:00Speaker 9: coached in her career, and I think that kind of
- 1:32:03Speaker 9: laid into it.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: She she didn't really say djon A was wrong.
- 1:32:10Speaker 9: She talked about how when you play dj and A,
- 1:32:12Speaker 9: you're gonna get some hustle and and you know, you
- 1:32:16Speaker 9: know how we are in this climate, we either on off,
- 1:32:20Speaker 9: We're not in the middle anymore. But people calling for
- 1:32:24Speaker 9: her to be fired. Mc kenny's watched the play Command
- 1:32:28Speaker 9: She wait, Gregg's watched the play White Privileged Command Gie Greg.
- 1:32:34Speaker 9: Before we get around to even trying to figure out
- 1:32:36Speaker 9: how dj NAE got to the locker room and had
- 1:32:40Speaker 9: decided that Big Kenny, as Big Kenny is letting you.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: Know, heart file right, Hord hord because it was horrid
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: like like like it was hord because like protect yourself
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: at all times, horrd it was there. There was no
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: there was it was will deliberate and intentional. That that's
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: what it was. There was no which is a flagrant to,
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: which is at the very least a flagrant to ejection
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: comand you Djna White proven what does that mean? Uh?
- 1:33:19Speaker 10: Well, I guess I was trying to find the there
- 1:33:24Speaker 10: was a play with Sophie Cunningham fouled somebody, and I
- 1:33:27Speaker 10: thought that a flagrant foul was called on her in
- 1:33:30Speaker 10: that particular game. So that's the only thing I could
- 1:33:32Speaker 10: think of, Like if they didn't call a flagrant foul
- 1:33:36Speaker 10: on her in that game and then the same thing's
- 1:33:40Speaker 10: done to her and now it's a flagrant two when
- 1:33:42Speaker 10: I get thrown out, that's the only context I think
- 1:33:45Speaker 10: she was saying that, that's the only thing I could
- 1:33:47Speaker 10: think of other than that, Like, I don't I don't
- 1:33:55Speaker 10: understand it, like it was a flagrant foul. It's a
- 1:33:57Speaker 10: flagrant too, you get thrown out, And I don't understand
- 1:34:03Speaker 10: like anybody's reaction to this who's been involved, I mean
- 1:34:07Speaker 10: outside of the outside of the coach Stephanie White saying that,
- 1:34:13Speaker 10: you know what, how she's going to play and everything
- 1:34:16Speaker 10: because a flagrant too, even though it's a hard foul,
- 1:34:20Speaker 10: a horde foul, as you said, uh, that happens every
- 1:34:28Speaker 10: now and again in a game. Well, so I don't
- 1:34:31Speaker 10: I don't think there was going to be like that
- 1:34:35Speaker 10: kind of reaction from the coach, like it's okay that was.
- 1:34:38Speaker 10: That's what it was, and we move on.
- 1:34:40Speaker 9: Sophie Connaham mentioned that file that you're talking about, and
- 1:34:43Speaker 9: I think she admitted that she got throughout the game.
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: So okay, so.
- 1:34:53Speaker 9: She did that and they threw her out the game.
- 1:34:55Speaker 9: So when I asked you, but privilege, what what's the
- 1:34:59Speaker 9: definition of that for? It's when and.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: A lot of.
- 1:35:07Speaker 10: Situations, especially social situations, white people may be favored over
- 1:35:17Speaker 10: other ethnicities. They'll get they'll get favor, they'll get more
- 1:35:27Speaker 10: like the benefit of the doubt or you know, something.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: To that effect.
- 1:35:30Speaker 9: Okay, big Kenny, you saw the play. It was a
- 1:35:34Speaker 9: horrid foul DJA and now Stephanie Connie Hammond. We'll mentioned
- 1:35:38Speaker 9: a little bit of that in the next segment about
- 1:35:40Speaker 9: how with the trans thing that's still going on and
- 1:35:43Speaker 9: in its Canter and Royce white former NBA players. You know,
- 1:35:49Speaker 9: they're going to an extreme of saying they're going to play.
- 1:35:53Speaker 9: But I think that's how they're trying to get people.
- 1:35:55Speaker 9: Sometimes people won't just deal with Okay, this is a
- 1:35:59Speaker 9: male and this is a female. They're saying, Okay, let
- 1:36:01Speaker 9: me go if it's all just, if it ain't no
- 1:36:04Speaker 9: big deal, let me with them I'll just go hoop right. So,
- 1:36:10Speaker 9: but in this case with white privilege, Big Kenny dijon Ny. First,
- 1:36:15Speaker 9: how did she formulate this in her mind that it
- 1:36:19Speaker 9: stood on white privilege?
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: And what would be white privilege to you? Really quick?
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: One of our loyal online listeners, Charlie said, sorry, I
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: cannot talk about white privilege without mentioning racism. A lot
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: of people want to equate the two. That's the same thing.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: When I think about white privilege, I think about what
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: commands you. Greg says, where you have the same set
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: of circumstances, the same exact situation, but it's handled differently
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: based on race. Sophie Cunningham admittedly, like djon a file,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: somebody hoard and she got put out the game. Djona
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: fouls Sophie hard and got put out the game. That
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: is equity. But when the Attorney General of Florida speaks
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: up when it happens to Sophie Cunningham, not when she
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: did it to somebody, but when it was done to her.
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: Now all of a sudden, hey, you come to Florida
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: with that and you could find yourself charged. That's how
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: people start to shade things with white privilege. When you
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: was just lopping the heads off of regular black w
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: NBA players. Everybody was cool and Florida had no interest
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: in this. But now you let Sophie Cunningham get hit
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: and the words white privilege get used, and now a
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: whole attorney general of a state gets involved. I think
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: that's where some people shade white privilege. I think that
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: in this case, Djona was being overly emotional for her
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: to prove white privilege would mean that not only did
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: Sophie Cunningham get away with it, but she herself goes
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: around do and this the black players all the time,
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: and y'all never say nothing when I lopped the head
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: off of the black girls. I did it six times
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: this season. You never said nothing when I did it
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: the Angel and Asia and all of these other girls.
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: But then one time I do it to the white girl.
- 1:38:15Speaker 1: So she would have to be admitting that this is
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: a pattern for her, and she doesn't get punished for
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: it any other time than when it happened this time.
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: So either way, I would say she was in the wrong.
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: But that's how some people can say white privilege exists.
- 1:38:31Speaker 9: And we'll talk about it on the other sides of
- 1:38:33Speaker 9: break When people have introduced that I've served them. Isn't
- 1:38:37Speaker 9: that just how it is? My cousin was shot and killed.
- 1:38:44Speaker 9: Nobody cared Noah Wales. We don't even know how he

- 1:42:50Speaker 3: again the w N b A uh is in the
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: news cycle and this season twenty twenty six has just been.
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: Mirrored how fast did the the big contracts and the
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: new season and all that stuff fade and get into.
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: CONTROVERSY a lot of people want W Nba Commissioner Kathy,
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: eaglebert from coaches to players want her to resign after the.
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: Season the players aren't happy with the, refereeing the situation
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: that always Surrounds Caitlyn, clark the incident that happened With
- 1:43:29Speaker 3: Angel reese And Sandy brundello is her last, name the
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: coach who was SUSPENDED, uh the part owner of The Seattle,
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: storm her issue with with trends athletes And Sophie cunningham
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: who she was suspended for a game or two for
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: her actions of making a statement at some. Fans now
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: we roll into this white privileged situation and we even
- 1:43:59Speaker 3: have different People Riley, gains the conservative who, says really
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: this reeks of black. Privilege to totally be, honest she
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: was using That Sandy brondelo situation of her saying white.
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: Species she believes that a player being able to go
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: to their account and throw out the word white privilege
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: on someone is in that same framework of labeling right
- 1:44:26Speaker 3: some you, know.
- 1:44:27Speaker 1: Because because If sophie had gone to her account and
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: tagged what team Does Chicago Scott Chicago scott had tagged
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: The Chicago sky and said black savages or black violence,
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: whatever people would have, Been, oh she'd have had to
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: go from the. League now that's. Racist it was intended
- 1:44:57Speaker 1: to be, racist and how dare you use our platform
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: to be?
- 1:45:02Speaker 9: Racist and that's kind of what she. Says you're saying
- 1:45:04Speaker 9: is black privilege totally because Uh djona knows that the
- 1:45:09Speaker 9: w n B a won't do anything to, her because
- 1:45:16Speaker 9: she makes that statement almost like it's, okay.
- 1:45:19Speaker 1: Right to accuse you of being racist and colluding with
- 1:45:23Speaker 1: white players to offer them an. Advantage And, greg you
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: have that look SO i would ask, you since you
- 1:45:30Speaker 1: have that look on your, face because that is a
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: look that we look.
- 1:45:37Speaker 9: When are someone like A, dja when does she cross
- 1:45:41Speaker 9: the line of a racist? COMMENT i don't think she
- 1:45:50Speaker 9: crossed the. Line, No, No i'm saying when does she
- 1:45:53Speaker 9: like what? Words if you could just, go can Can
- 1:45:57Speaker 9: sophie go say black?
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: Privilege? Uh she probably?
- 1:46:03Speaker 10: Could it would be, funny but it would have to
- 1:46:08Speaker 10: be you, know to use some something that sounds like
- 1:46:12Speaker 10: a stereotype or a slur against white. People you, know
- 1:46:17Speaker 10: If Sandy brondelo IS i. DON'T i don't think What
- 1:46:21Speaker 10: Sandy brondelo said as far as uh protected species is
- 1:46:26Speaker 10: the same as saying white. Privilege it's not A it
- 1:46:32Speaker 10: CANNOT i don't see it being taken as an offensive.
- 1:46:35Speaker 10: Term So i'm asking, you, so what is a offensive term.
- 1:46:42Speaker 25: That d?
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: Jone if it's not white? Privilege what what what stands that? There?
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: What what can be in that place where d jone is?
- 1:46:53Speaker 10: Wrong i'm trying to think, of, like what what's slur
- 1:47:00Speaker 10: or what stereotype she could have used that would HAVE
- 1:47:07Speaker 10: i don't know that would have made.
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: SENSE i don't. Know and Now Walter echos loyal online
- 1:47:14Speaker 1: listener made the, comment what about all of the people
- 1:47:17Speaker 1: that look like us that are being found dead by
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: hanging or other? Ways it's an attack on. Us over
- 1:47:23Speaker 1: thirteen five hundred women alone have been found dead or
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: haven't been. Found AND i THINK i read that comment
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: not only because we Know Walter eckles and he makes
- 1:47:37Speaker 1: a lot of thoughtful comments and, insights but because it
- 1:47:44Speaker 1: illustrates the length to which people stretch this. Subject white
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: privilege has now been conflated and correlated to the ignoring
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: of tens of thousands of black women who have possibly been,
- 1:48:04Speaker 1: murdered and so we're far past talking about white privilege.
- 1:48:08Speaker 1: NOW i think that's for me that that says something
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: else that you would take a girl getting filed at
- 1:48:15Speaker 1: a basketball game and then go, see it's the same,
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: way keeping it to the, game the game itself saying
- 1:48:25Speaker 1: it that's, right but that's the way they flagrantly foul
- 1:48:28Speaker 1: us every.
- 1:48:29Speaker 10: Day but now it's going beyond that with like the
- 1:48:34Speaker 10: person one to make it an assault.
- 1:48:36Speaker 9: Charge and, well that's WHY i asked, you because What
- 1:48:39Speaker 9: Roley gains AND i don't know who she, is BUT
- 1:48:46Speaker 9: i think what she's saying is that a black player
- 1:48:52Speaker 9: Like Jionna carrington seems to not have any limits to
- 1:48:58Speaker 9: what she can say, racial to what you can say,
- 1:49:00Speaker 9: racially so that gives her black.
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: Privilege and then people would, say and because an attorney
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: general is willing to get involved in W nba business
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: because a white player got, fouled is conversely white privilege
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: that that never has happened. Before i've never heard until
- 1:49:21Speaker 1: an athlete gets on the wrong. Side, well, yeah it.
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: Hapened Well i'm saying we've had state officials get, involved
- 1:49:29Speaker 1: but it's usually when a player of color steps outside
- 1:49:32Speaker 1: of some sort of what they consider their normal. Constraints
- 1:49:36Speaker 1: Riley gaines is a former college athlete and a conservative.
- 1:49:42Speaker 1: Activist BUT i think it's just a.
- 1:49:50Speaker 10: A reaction BECAUSE i think because of how how you
- 1:49:55Speaker 10: depends on how people View Sophie cunningham as far as
- 1:50:00Speaker 10: is and And Caitlyn clark To anna on a much larger,
- 1:50:03Speaker 10: scale how they are viewed by a particular, demographic are
- 1:50:09Speaker 10: going to, say, certain are there those people don't.
- 1:50:14Speaker 9: Need to be protecting because that's how people act like these,
- 1:50:18Speaker 9: yeah Other so that becomes what things is saying that
- 1:50:22Speaker 9: they need to be. Protected there's there's this idea that
- 1:50:26Speaker 9: there is no protection.
- 1:50:28Speaker 1: And that's just not. True we'll be back more To
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: Sports Shop show right after.
- 1:50:32Speaker 2: This i'm just here to.
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: Tell THEM i was living In road and then the
- 1:50:43Speaker 1: move to look and then.

- 1:52:58Speaker 9: so many layers and this country and when it gets
- 1:53:02Speaker 9: to things like, this people talk to me AND i.
- 1:53:03Speaker 9: FORGET i all try to always try to. Educate there's
- 1:53:07Speaker 9: a point of. Life i'm a numbers, guy and as
- 1:53:11Speaker 9: much as you want to try to sometimes frame, life
- 1:53:14Speaker 9: you do have to frame life by numbers because that's
- 1:53:18Speaker 9: how the world kind of. Works you run numbers on
- 1:53:23Speaker 9: something and that's how people make. Decisions it can be,
- 1:53:27Speaker 9: anywhere any business that you're. In you go through a
- 1:53:33Speaker 9: calendar year and realize that purple t shirts didn't, sell
- 1:53:37Speaker 9: you take them off of your.
- 1:53:40Speaker 1: Lists in my heart broke BECAUSE i came in here
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: for the nice, fitting good soft PURPLE t. Shirt can
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: keep these purple shirts and only the two got to
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: got too. Full rolls of RED t Shirt they usually
- 1:53:56Speaker 1: run that as a.
- 1:53:56Speaker 9: Special there's four or five colors they, keep and then
- 1:54:00Speaker 9: there's usually a. Special same thing with, food there's things
- 1:54:03Speaker 9: that we, loved no. ITEM i thought it was a great,
- 1:54:05Speaker 9: dish but it wasn't. Moving we random, numbers that's, How
- 1:54:11Speaker 9: and that pancake mcgrittle sandwhich had to, go and it
- 1:54:15Speaker 9: had to. Go and it's the same thing when one
- 1:54:19Speaker 9: group makes up sixty percent and one group makes up thirteen.
- 1:54:24Speaker 9: Percent you can walk into a lot of situations and
- 1:54:27Speaker 9: feel like the benefit of the doubt is being. Offered
- 1:54:32Speaker 9: in this, CASE i was, surprised guys that it didn't
- 1:54:35Speaker 9: come from. Sexuality why didn't it fall on that DJON
- 1:54:41Speaker 9: A carrington IS. Lgbgq why couldn't the foul been based on?
- 1:54:47Speaker 9: That we jumped right to The we left all those
- 1:54:52Speaker 9: things off. Right Sophie cunningham at least from what we
- 1:54:57Speaker 9: know identifies as a straight, yeah HETEROSEXUAL dj and a
- 1:55:06Speaker 9: just through local or excuse me of recent events since
- 1:55:11Speaker 9: The All Star game when her information was put out
- 1:55:14Speaker 9: by some fight she had with ANOTHER wn player that
- 1:55:17Speaker 9: they were used to date and all. That that's not
- 1:55:20Speaker 9: SOMETHING i looked. Up that's something that was. Offered so
- 1:55:25Speaker 9: why couldn't it been motivated from? That because right, today.
- 1:55:32Speaker 1: Because the people who surround the advancement of LGBT q
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: issues don't want to be seen as being petty and
- 1:55:42Speaker 1: willing to hurt people who get away from them during sports,
- 1:55:45Speaker 1: Competitions they would just rather let that be a black
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: and white. Issue we'll blame that on. Racism we don't
- 1:55:51Speaker 1: want to blame that on the division of. Genders we
- 1:55:56Speaker 1: got enough problems with the gender thing right. Now, okay
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: but just, Landing so it's just that's just let the
- 1:56:03Speaker 1: folks jump on. This people can get. Involved, yeah let them.
- 1:56:10Speaker 1: Cook some people don't know that about these. Now, yeah
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: that's What i'm. Saying let the black folks thing. Cook
- 1:56:14Speaker 1: they'll they'll they'll take care of. It but what about
- 1:56:16Speaker 1: the jealousy That Sophie cunningham is? Having some little budding
- 1:56:21Speaker 1: media blitz where she's on a. Lot she's on a
- 1:56:26Speaker 1: lot of shows that can be. Podcast she's the ring.
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: Girl i'm doing more on the court than she is
- 1:56:34Speaker 1: in my, mind but she's getting the. Fame it's it's,
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: like hold, On i'm gonna let you say just what
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: you're about to.
- 1:56:41Speaker 9: Say hold that. Thought i'm just gonna give you another.
- 1:56:43Speaker 9: JAM i play offensive. Line When emmett jumps into the end,
- 1:56:50Speaker 9: zone they don't say nothing about great, block great. Block
- 1:56:56Speaker 9: and when they, do they mentioned us as a. Group
- 1:57:00Speaker 9: what great blocking up front by the old. Line we
- 1:57:04Speaker 9: don't get no individual accolade that comes later if the
- 1:57:08Speaker 9: game goes long, enough or based on the color, commentator
- 1:57:12Speaker 9: if he's an old line, guy he might, say lifts
- 1:57:15Speaker 9: the guy off his, feet that's lucky to get. Thrown
- 1:57:19Speaker 9: we're usually introduced as a, group so you have to.
- 1:57:23Speaker 9: Learn And i'm just telling you this because some of
- 1:57:26Speaker 9: WHY i hate. It AND i had a young man
- 1:57:29Speaker 9: over here a couple of months. Ago he's eighth, grade ninth.
- 1:57:34Speaker 9: Grade the gentleman brought him over wanted me to help
- 1:57:36Speaker 9: him out with some old line, stuff but he wasn't
- 1:57:40Speaker 9: eager to play. It he's going to be a natural offensive.
- 1:57:43Speaker 9: Line he wants to play defensive. LINE i had to tell,
- 1:57:45Speaker 9: HIM i, said, man it's the same with, me young,
- 1:57:47Speaker 9: man WHEN i was your. AGE i hate it playing
- 1:57:51Speaker 9: old line because they never say your. NAME i love
- 1:57:57Speaker 9: playing d line BECAUSE i can hear a man on
- 1:58:00Speaker 9: THE pa, system gandy on the. Sack when you're that,
- 1:58:05Speaker 9: age that's real. Important it seems like a little. Thing
- 1:58:09Speaker 9: you mean you want me to block y'all over here
- 1:58:13Speaker 9: cheering commands. You we knocked all five people. Down you
- 1:58:17Speaker 9: just jumping into the end. Zone ain't nobody even touching?
- 1:58:20Speaker 1: What and that's why you up for the? Highs they
- 1:58:26Speaker 1: don't never have no old lining.
- 1:58:27Speaker 9: Up you're telling me why old linman drafted number one
- 1:58:30Speaker 9: pick of the, draft, right but never up for The.
- 1:58:33Speaker 1: Heisman and we'll go number, one number, two and number
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: five in the draft old. Lineman we'll do. That and
