- 0:08Speaker 1: And I invited you here. I thought I made myself
- 0:14Speaker 1: perfectly clear. When you're a guest to my home, you
- 0:21Speaker 1: gotta come to me empty. And I said, no, guests,
- 0:27Speaker 1: you're on presences presents enough. I already had too much stuff.
- 0:35Speaker 1: So how did you dare to surbey me?
- 0:49Speaker 2: Welcome to I said, no gifts. I'm Bridger Wine girl.
- 0:54Speaker 2: What's happening? What's happening? I think this is the first
- 0:58Speaker 2: show post the live show in New York. We're back
- 1:01Speaker 2: in Los Angeles. We had a ball, We had the
- 1:04Speaker 2: time of our lives. If you weren't there, that's something
- 1:07Speaker 2: you will just kind of regret for the rest of
- 1:09Speaker 2: your life. That will haunt you. And I hope it does.
- 1:12Speaker 2: I hope that's just on your mind constantly. So that
- 1:15Speaker 2: was the And then I was in New York for
- 1:16Speaker 2: a few days and almost nothing happened like The other
- 1:20Speaker 2: memorable thing was I had a bad Lentil soup, which
- 1:27Speaker 2: I thought was the safe bet, and I wasn't even
- 1:29Speaker 2: able to finish the cup of soups. I don't know
- 1:31Speaker 2: what went wrong there. On my way home, this is important.
- 1:36Speaker 2: In the uber, on the way back to the airport,
- 1:38Speaker 2: they had the little screen. And of course I'm figuring
- 1:41Speaker 2: out what my horoscope is. And I'm just gonna read
- 1:43Speaker 2: this for libras. It said take this summer to plan
- 1:47Speaker 2: a camping trip with close friends and reconnect. So that
- 1:50Speaker 2: was timely. I adore today's guest. Everyone adores today's guest.
- 1:55Speaker 3: It's caught you, not everyone, not everyone.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Well, we don't want to hear about the other people.
- 2:01Speaker 3: People who would disagree. Now you thank you for having me.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Of course, welcome to I said, no gifts.
- 2:06Speaker 3: I am happy to be here. Did you figure out
- 2:08Speaker 3: what kind of rat you are?
- 2:10Speaker 2: No? I couldn't figure honalas I'm a wood rat.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I wonder if that's compatible with a water dog. Oh what,
- 2:18Speaker 3: I guess we'll find out.
- 2:19Speaker 2: I wonder what on at least? Do you know what
- 2:20Speaker 2: the qualities of a wood rat are? Well, I know
- 2:23Speaker 2: that just for a rat, you're supposed to be charming
- 2:26Speaker 2: and hard working, so thrifty. Oh my god, that that
- 2:30Speaker 2: one actually works? That is so that? I mean one
- 2:34Speaker 2: out of three isn't bad.
- 2:35Speaker 3: That's great?
- 2:36Speaker 2: Wow, interesting would rat? Yeah?
- 2:37Speaker 3: And you know if you go to them the I
- 2:39Speaker 3: think it's the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art Lakama.
- 2:43Speaker 3: They have an incredible circle of sculptures that are of
- 2:48Speaker 3: all the animals and the Chinese zodiac. The snake is amazing,
- 2:52Speaker 3: the pig is amazing. It's they're beautiful.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Is this a temporary thing or no, it's there.
- 2:56Speaker 3: It's like they're permanent. It's like an on the outside
- 2:59Speaker 3: by the restaurant. Check it out. It's really great.
- 3:01Speaker 2: So you're a water dog? What does that mean?
- 3:03Speaker 3: I just take it literally because I am a profuse,
- 3:06Speaker 3: prodigious sweater and you know, female impersonator, So just sweaty
- 3:11Speaker 3: bitch makes sense.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Right, of course, it's right.
- 3:13Speaker 1: All.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I knew I was a rat for a long time,
- 3:15Speaker 2: but I had no idea that were I mean in
- 3:17Speaker 2: so many senses of the.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Word, like a rat searching ground looking for a food.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:23Speaker 2: I mean I have said on this point jealous. I'm
- 3:26Speaker 2: not a really jealous person.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Are you a tittletale?
- 3:29Speaker 2: No? But I have said on this podcast before that
- 3:31Speaker 2: it's very pro snitch, pro rat rat. Yeah you got us.
- 3:37Speaker 3: I would never, no matter how many fingers they cut off,
- 3:39Speaker 3: I would never tell I would never.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Do you really think you wouldn't snitch on principle?
- 3:44Speaker 3: I so admire the people who get like flayed alive
- 3:48Speaker 3: and then won't talk because that then it's just on it.
- 3:50Speaker 3: It's it's like the ultimate last thing you can do.
- 3:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:54Speaker 3: It's as like when it's a power play, right, even
- 3:58Speaker 3: if the information is like not even that great, not
- 4:00Speaker 3: even whatever. If I'm getting tortured, I'm not going.
- 4:02Speaker 2: To say it. To torture someone to death and not
- 4:04Speaker 2: get a juicy tidbit out of them, that's.
- 4:06Speaker 3: And they have to live with that guilt and these
- 4:08Speaker 3: you know, it's a whole right. I get to go
- 4:11Speaker 3: to heaven and they are going to hell, and it's all.
- 4:13Speaker 3: It's wonderful.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yeah. I think that there are particular people I wouldn't
- 4:16Speaker 2: snitch on. But if I were in the mafia or
- 4:18Speaker 2: something like this, I think I would be.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Going to get whacked. Yeah, so you're essentially killing yourself.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yes, of course, and why not I guess to be
- 4:27Speaker 2: killed by the mob.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they're just gonna Yeah, that's true. I mean,
- 4:31Speaker 3: I I just recently watched Goodfellas.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Oh I love Goodfellows.
- 4:35Speaker 3: It's fantastic, and you know, and the Godfather Wait, speaking
- 4:40Speaker 3: with Godfather, have you seen Mega Floppolis?
- 4:42Speaker 2: I've seen the first hour. Okay, I got a little sleepy.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I got a little because you know, I mean, it's insane,
- 4:48Speaker 2: it's so wild to watch. But the story is so
- 4:51Speaker 2: just all over the place that you stop following it
- 4:53Speaker 2: and starts to feel like someone's telling you a dream
- 4:55Speaker 2: or something.
- 4:56Speaker 3: And I just was like, oh, yeah, I was tempted
- 4:59Speaker 3: to go in theater, but I just I don't want
- 5:01Speaker 3: to be bored at the movies.
- 5:03Speaker 2: No, and you are kind of bored, I think if
- 5:04Speaker 2: you were. I think my audience was weirdly taking the
- 5:07Speaker 2: movie seriously, and you want to be there with people
- 5:10Speaker 2: who are like on board with Oh, we all think
- 5:12Speaker 2: this is a crazy movie kinds of shit. Yeah, right,
- 5:15Speaker 2: And it felt like everyone around me wanted to see
- 5:18Speaker 2: the movie, so it was boring, damn. But I've heard
- 5:21Speaker 2: the last half has some really wild moments as well
- 5:24Speaker 2: that I'll have to.
- 5:26Speaker 3: You'll catch it on streaming stream The Substance.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Oh, I loved The Substance. I had a great time.
- 5:33Speaker 3: One of the best movie going experiences of my life.
- 5:35Speaker 2: It is so I mean, I will say, forty minutes
- 5:39Speaker 2: too long.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Oh interesting.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I felt like it kind of ended and then I
- 5:43Speaker 2: mean the ending, The last like third of it is
- 5:45Speaker 2: so outrageous, fond and outrageous to watch. But it's like,
- 5:49Speaker 2: maybe it could have just tightened it up a bit
- 5:51Speaker 2: or something.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I think if I watched it twice and I
- 5:54Speaker 3: was like if I had the first time I saw it,
- 5:56Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, it's my favorite movie. This is
- 5:57Speaker 3: gonna be my personality for the next three years. And
- 5:59Speaker 3: then I again, I'm like, Okay, this is just a movie.
- 6:03Speaker 3: There are flaws, and I think I would have nixed
- 6:05Speaker 3: the strigen known of cooking. Second. Oh, I would have
- 6:08Speaker 3: just got rid of that altogether. Then that's the only
- 6:11Speaker 3: place I feel I could have been trimmed. But god,
- 6:13Speaker 3: I love that fucking movie.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I went in knowing literally nothing, Oh you did.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I mean very not. I had seen only the teaser,
- 6:20Speaker 3: not the trailer.
- 6:21Speaker 2: I hadn't even seen a teaser. I knew that the
- 6:23Speaker 2: demur wasn't it, And I knew that the title was
- 6:25Speaker 2: the substance.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Oh my god, I'm so jealous. That must have been amazing.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah, because I kind of went in thinking it was
- 6:30Speaker 2: going to be kind of like a hard drama or
- 6:32Speaker 2: like a really dark drama, and it's like oh pure,
- 6:35Speaker 2: Tom called the subs.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I just can't believe Margaret Qualley's breasts were prosthetics. They were, Yes,
- 6:43Speaker 3: they were.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Was that like match to me?
- 6:46Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, because Margaret. And it's interesting because you know,
- 6:48Speaker 3: she's the younger, more perfect version of Demi Mour But
- 6:51Speaker 3: the real life actress does not have big boobs, right,
- 6:54Speaker 3: so they needed to give her big boobs which seamless, incredible,
- 6:58Speaker 3: unclockable breasts.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Wow. And I was so proud of them to make
- 7:02Speaker 2: a movie where they just cast a younger actor to
- 7:04Speaker 2: play the younger part, rather than putting the actor in
- 7:07Speaker 2: weird makeup.
- 7:08Speaker 3: The breast Yeah, yeah, yeah, uncanny.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Valley, Tom Cruise flipping on a train making hot chocolate,
- 7:15Speaker 2: don't you think.
- 7:15Speaker 3: While we were talking about other options for Margaret, quality
- 7:19Speaker 3: looks like Jennifer Connolly.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Oh wow, But.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Jennifer Connolly is not old enough. She's only fifty. Although
- 7:26Speaker 3: Demi Moore is sixty sixty, playing fifty it works better.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Connelly would have had to play forty.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Yeah, but then it's like get too young to right.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It doesn't make enough sense. I mean maybe it would
- 7:38Speaker 2: just be an even edgy or but look at.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think the meta Demi Moore's career gave
- 7:44Speaker 3: it a huge robust flavor that it wouldn't have had
- 7:48Speaker 3: with another actress, you know, because she's gone through the
- 7:50Speaker 3: plastic surgery scandals and all that crowd.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Oh right, that's true, Like she actually brings something to
- 7:54Speaker 2: it personally. Yeah, oh no. I had such a good time,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and I was obviously just so repulse over and over
- 8:00Speaker 2: and over. But the thing that really like makes me
- 8:04Speaker 2: feel bad is seeing like close ups of a syringe, going,
- 8:07Speaker 2: oh my god.
- 8:08Speaker 3: If you don't like that kind of stuff, if you
- 8:10Speaker 3: don't like like like large gauge needles puncturing like festering wounds,
- 8:16Speaker 3: this is not the movie for you. Baby. It is
- 8:20Speaker 3: tough to I usually don't. I usually flinch. I was
- 8:24Speaker 3: just very glad there were no needles in the neck, oh,
- 8:26Speaker 3: because that's one of my pet peeves. We don't do
- 8:29Speaker 3: needles in the neck on planet Earth.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Like, yeah, who whatever.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Nobody does needles in the neck unless they're like heavy
- 8:35Speaker 3: hardcore heron auticts. But even then, it's not like a
- 8:38Speaker 3: gem in in. It's very slow, you know what I mean.
- 8:41Speaker 2: And there are just so many other areas of the
- 8:42Speaker 2: body that you can go through.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Yeah, and if you're doing like I just hate that.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Any writer out there in Hollywood, please don't write that
- 8:50Speaker 3: into your script, the whole jabbing the thing in the
- 8:52Speaker 3: neck and then all and then they immediately like fall down.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Oh the im media falling down. I think we've got
- 8:57Speaker 2: to figure out.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Yes, you have to write it because like an intramuscular
- 9:01Speaker 3: injection is going to take about fifteen to twenty five
- 9:04Speaker 3: minutes to take effect. And I recently saw a movie
- 9:06Speaker 3: where that happened and I was like, oh, yes, and
- 9:09Speaker 3: but you know the whole like jam it in the thigh,
- 9:12Speaker 3: they fall over.
- 9:13Speaker 2: I hate that, right, And I mean even with like
- 9:15Speaker 2: in action movies being people being shot and then just
- 9:18Speaker 2: falling over. I think we're ready. We're all adults. We
- 9:20Speaker 2: can see a little bit more of the struggle. You
- 9:22Speaker 2: don't just fall to the ground, right.
- 9:24Speaker 3: And if it's in reality, you can't slide and then
- 9:27Speaker 3: fall off a cliff and hang with one hand, like
- 9:30Speaker 3: not even an Olympic athlete could do that. No, not
- 9:32Speaker 3: even like the best gymnasts could do.
- 9:34Speaker 2: That would rip your arm off.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you would just not be able to grip
- 9:37Speaker 3: and hold like it's fucking and then hold somebody else the.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Upper body strength. I mean, unless that's part of the story.
- 9:44Speaker 3: It never is. It's always like die hard or like,
- 9:46Speaker 3: you know, they're human beings and those supernatural powers, yet
- 9:50Speaker 3: they can get they can stick a needle in somebody's
- 9:53Speaker 3: neck and there immediately die or get. You know, it's just, oh,
- 9:56Speaker 3: I hate it so much. I hate it.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Did you watch Long Legs?
- 10:00Speaker 3: I did. I thought it sucked. I you know, brilliant marketing.
- 10:05Speaker 3: I was so crhymed, pumped, psyched and ready to have
- 10:10Speaker 3: like my head blown off and to have nightmares for
- 10:12Speaker 3: like six months.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 10:14Speaker 3: My friend and I laughed like all the way through.
- 10:16Speaker 3: And it was such a rip off of Silence of
- 10:20Speaker 3: the Lambs of like seven, even David Lynchy kind of
- 10:25Speaker 3: it was. It was so shitty. I hated it so much.
- 10:29Speaker 3: No offense to the director. I'm sure he's a lovely person,
- 10:32Speaker 3: but yeah, it was just so over hyped and under delivered.
- 10:36Speaker 2: No, this is exactly You're maybe the third person on
- 10:38Speaker 2: this podcast I've asked if they had seen it. They hadn't,
- 10:40Speaker 2: and so that I'm just like, well, I have nowhere
- 10:41Speaker 2: to share these feelings. This is exactly how I felt.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I felt like the first like minute was like, oh,
- 10:46Speaker 2: this is kind of spooking.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Well, you know when when Spoilerer when right at the beginning,
- 10:50Speaker 3: when she says it's that house, he goes in and
- 10:52Speaker 3: gets shot immediately. That was a lovely cool fair moment.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Tints with like the plastic hanging from the sea.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Very haunting. That's it.
- 10:59Speaker 2: It's so after that then it's just ridiculous.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like I might come back. Was twice so
- 11:06Speaker 3: it was man made and we were laughing. I was like,
- 11:08Speaker 3: I know this is supposed to be creepy in a
- 11:10Speaker 3: lynche in that sort of way, but it's just failing
- 11:13Speaker 3: at it.
- 11:14Speaker 2: I wondered throughout the movie if it weren't Nicholas Cage,
- 11:17Speaker 2: if it would have been scary, But I just kept thinking, that's.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Nick kg No, he was the best part of it.
- 11:21Speaker 3: I thought he was very good.
- 11:22Speaker 2: But I just kept thinking, this can't be a scary monster.
- 11:24Speaker 2: It should be an anonymous actor that I that at
- 11:26Speaker 2: least feels like they're from another realm. Yeah, otherwise I'm like, oh,
- 11:29Speaker 2: it's just him and makeup.
- 11:31Speaker 3: And also a good job, Like it was like she's
- 11:34Speaker 3: an FBI agent and she didn't bother to check her
- 11:36Speaker 3: mom's courting house. Like it was like so bad. I
- 11:39Speaker 3: was like, oh whatever, Yeah, it was such a disappointment.
- 11:42Speaker 3: But then I saw the Terrifier Part three.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Oh, that looks genuinely scary to me, is it? All
- 11:49Speaker 2: three of them look so scary.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Well, I'm gonna be frank. Number one piece of shit.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Number two very very shitty and long. Number three tight
- 11:59Speaker 3: and very well improved. I shouldn't have said they were
- 12:02Speaker 3: shit because I'm lobbying hard to be cast in the
- 12:04Speaker 3: fourth one.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Well, you've got thoughts that you can share with the
- 12:06Speaker 2: creative team.
- 12:07Speaker 3: No, I would never know. I said I would give them.
- 12:09Speaker 3: I would come with no notes or anything. I'd just
- 12:12Speaker 3: be very like, you know, enthusiastic about whatever they wanted
- 12:14Speaker 3: me to do.
- 12:15Speaker 2: But it is.
- 12:16Speaker 3: I saw it on a sneak preview night with you know,
- 12:19Speaker 3: diehard horror fans at the Egyptian Theater, and that experience
- 12:23Speaker 3: rivaled the substance because it was all a bunch of
- 12:27Speaker 3: freaks who love Gore and the movie is so disgusting.
- 12:33Speaker 3: It's so disgusting. It's relentlessly, brutally, sadistically disgusting, but not
- 12:42Speaker 3: in the hostile kind of way, right, like not like
- 12:44Speaker 3: hostile Saw, Like it doesn't try to emulate the real world.
- 12:48Speaker 3: In fact, there are supernatural elements to the killer now
- 12:51Speaker 3: into the Kills, but spoiler alert, there's a chainsaw up
- 12:57Speaker 3: the ass oh my, and to the genet and that's
- 13:01Speaker 3: just like not even the most horrifying part. It's like
- 13:04Speaker 3: it just never stops. It's so we were screaming and
- 13:09Speaker 3: everybody was screaming, and I'm like, oh, this is great.
- 13:15Speaker 2: And does the gore feel realistic?
- 13:18Speaker 3: It's it's like jiallo. I think it's like it's it's Saw.
- 13:25Speaker 3: A lot of the Saw movies do really try to
- 13:27Speaker 3: emulate realism and hostile, especially because that is torture, porn
- 13:31Speaker 3: human beings torturing other human beings. In this one, there
- 13:35Speaker 3: are demons. There are possessed demons from it. So it
- 13:39Speaker 3: is a supernatural horror. But in the gore is very
- 13:45Speaker 3: grindhouse splashy splatter.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Okay, I can handle that, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:49Speaker 3: It's like the blood doesn't look like real blood a
- 13:52Speaker 3: lot of the times.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Very corn syrup or where it's like almost like orange e.
- 13:55Speaker 3: It's like and there's so much of it, and like,
- 13:58Speaker 3: but but you see everything like the chains off the
- 14:02Speaker 3: ask and then the whole front by I mean.
- 14:04Speaker 2: The tagline should just be used everything you do.
- 14:07Speaker 3: And it like there was a there's a notorious kill
- 14:10Speaker 3: in the second one that was so brutal. It was
- 14:13Speaker 3: really tough to watch, and it went on forever and
- 14:15Speaker 3: just when you think it couldn't get any worse, it does.
- 14:17Speaker 3: And but yeah, like it's just it's sick and psychotic.
- 14:22Speaker 2: What is the story of the film. I know, it's
- 14:24Speaker 2: like a crazy looking clown crazy.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Well, so he was decapitated in the second one. Okay,
- 14:29Speaker 3: so his decapitated body comes back. You know, it's like
- 14:34Speaker 3: they have to conjure the supernatural lore in order to
- 14:37Speaker 3: make their logic work. But now Art the clown, the
- 14:41Speaker 3: killer is super sadistic. He goes to a moll and
- 14:43Speaker 3: blows up kids. He has a his I think a
- 14:48Speaker 3: victim that he tore the face off of in the
- 14:50Speaker 3: first one is now his like accomplice. She's like a
- 14:53Speaker 3: demon lady because she's possessed and she is really cunty.
- 14:57Speaker 3: She really lets you have it. And so they're like
- 14:59Speaker 3: a duo and it's like like Bonnie and Clyde very disgusting,
- 15:05Speaker 3: twisted demon clown version.
- 15:06Speaker 2: That must have been a real conversation between the two
- 15:09Speaker 2: of them. Her getting on his side post face being
- 15:11Speaker 2: ripped off.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well she did in factor She hardly factored
- 15:14Speaker 3: in on the second one, I think, and then her
- 15:17Speaker 3: inclusion to this was a real real It's cool because
- 15:20Speaker 3: it's like you get to see, like, you know, the
- 15:22Speaker 3: Aussie and Harriet, Bonnie and Clyde kind of like like
- 15:26Speaker 3: the mister and missus Smith kind of like working together
- 15:28Speaker 3: to kill every single person in the world.
- 15:30Speaker 2: And where does Arthur come in the first movie? Where
- 15:33Speaker 2: did you come from? He's just a clown, angry clown.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Yes, very sadistic, very and he's like super faggy. Oh
- 15:42Speaker 3: but he's like he does this a lot like.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Presentation we need.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah, he's he's really broad. Never he doesn't speak at.
- 15:49Speaker 2: All, Okay, but he's like and there's.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Like like he'll like he is super super flamboyant and
- 15:57Speaker 3: and the way that like Freddy Krueger is and but
- 16:00Speaker 3: he's the most animated, silent, flamboyant killer that there is
- 16:05Speaker 3: in horror.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I think you point out something I've obviously noticed but
- 16:10Speaker 2: never realizes. Freddy Krueger is very flamboyant.
- 16:13Speaker 3: He's all over the place, faggot like, and you know
- 16:16Speaker 3: what he really I grew up watching those movies. I
- 16:19Speaker 3: still have nightmares. What's crazy about him is that, like, yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 3: he gets you in your dreams, and he also tailors
- 16:25Speaker 3: them to your fears, and he like there it's very
- 16:28Speaker 3: like bespoke murders, do you know what I mean? He
- 16:31Speaker 3: like he'll do the most horrifying thing to you because
- 16:34Speaker 3: he's in your head and you can't escape from him
- 16:37Speaker 3: because in your dreams. Oh, it's just so Whereas Jason
- 16:42Speaker 3: and Michael Myers lumbering, Yeah, fuck off, it's so boring.
- 16:48Speaker 2: But I mean, at least Michael Myers has the decency
- 16:50Speaker 2: to like turn the mask inside out, try something new.
- 16:54Speaker 3: I don't know, I'm sorry. I don't think any of
- 16:56Speaker 3: those movies are good, not even Halloween one.
- 16:58Speaker 2: No, I love Halloween One.
- 16:59Speaker 3: But what about this? Remember the first scene, who kills somebody?
- 17:03Speaker 3: Like this just kind of like one of those birds
- 17:07Speaker 3: that car the POV like through the mask is like
- 17:10Speaker 3: that's how they're like, you do this, you don't like
- 17:14Speaker 3: move your head, you know it doesn't.
- 17:15Speaker 2: If you think about it, who does a psychotic out
- 17:19Speaker 2: of their mind and it's going to bed. That's that's
- 17:24Speaker 2: what made him evil. It was a real trial throughout
- 17:28Speaker 2: my life.
- 17:29Speaker 3: Who's your favorite horror character?
- 17:31Speaker 2: Oh, that's a very good question. Let me think about
- 17:33Speaker 2: this for a moment, because I wanted to. I want
- 17:36Speaker 2: it to be an accurate I love horror, but I'll say, oh,
- 17:43Speaker 2: I actually don't think I have because the ones that
- 17:45Speaker 2: really scare me are ones that they're kind of just
- 17:47Speaker 2: normal people, you know, like the strangers.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that's it. Home invasion does not. I don't
- 17:53Speaker 3: like that at all.
- 17:54Speaker 2: It feels bade hush, No, what's this?
- 17:57Speaker 3: It's a home invasion movie and the girl is death. Oh,
- 18:01Speaker 3: it's fucking scary.
- 18:03Speaker 2: Sounds it's very.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Scary, Like he he kills her friend right at the door,
- 18:08Speaker 3: at the glass window, and he doesn't understand she's deaf
- 18:12Speaker 3: and she's like banging it. It's it's a little unbelievable
- 18:15Speaker 3: in a way, but it's really, really, really scary.
- 18:17Speaker 2: I think now I'm thinking, Uh, the House in the Haunting,
- 18:21Speaker 2: I think that might be my favorite villain.
- 18:23Speaker 3: The House and the Hunting.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Have you seen the Haunting the Sixties one.
- 18:26Speaker 3: I don't know, it's so good. Okay, I got it.
- 18:29Speaker 2: It's fantastic. It's just like a guy brings some people
- 18:33Speaker 2: together to study this house and it's very spooky. It's
- 18:36Speaker 2: like it holds up pretty well as a haunted house movie.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Cool.
- 18:40Speaker 2: Who's your favorite?
- 18:41Speaker 3: I like Candy Man.
- 18:44Speaker 2: You never seen Candy Man?
- 18:45Speaker 3: Oh, I highly suggest it. Tony Todd plays the cool
- 18:48Speaker 3: thing about like people who like follow me, but they're
- 18:51Speaker 3: so sick of me. He's talking about this, but like
- 18:53Speaker 3: the cool thing about that movie, not the remake. Did
- 18:55Speaker 3: not like the remake. But it's it's all of the
- 18:59Speaker 3: most of the act, most of the the scary stuff
- 19:02Speaker 3: happens during the day in broad daylight. And he has
- 19:06Speaker 3: this like hypnotizing quality. The main character is studying like
- 19:11Speaker 3: these urban legends and in this like improverished part of
- 19:14Speaker 3: I think Chicago, and she's a white woman grad student
- 19:18Speaker 3: and when he like haunts her, he's like helln well,
- 19:24Speaker 3: and his voice is so she never screams. Ever, she
- 19:28Speaker 3: gets hypnotized. Oh and it's crazy. And she actually got
- 19:32Speaker 3: hypnotized on set by a hypnotist and it started to
- 19:34Speaker 3: drive her crazy. What Yeah, it was cool, and his
- 19:37Speaker 3: voice is so once you hear it, it is it
- 19:42Speaker 3: is so effective at being fucking terrifying.
- 19:47Speaker 2: And does he come out of a mirror like Floody.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Mary's exactly five times you say candy Man, and then
- 19:51Speaker 3: his hook will get you from stem to stem to stern,
- 19:55Speaker 3: from crouch to throat.
- 19:57Speaker 2: From crouch to chin. Yeah. Oh wow. Have you ever
- 20:01Speaker 2: been hypnotized?
- 20:02Speaker 3: I've you know, I've there was. I went to the
- 20:04Speaker 3: Mad Russian in Boston to try to get hypnotized for
- 20:08Speaker 3: smoking quitting smoking. Didn't work, No, I wish it had.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I don't think I'm hypnotizable.
- 20:14Speaker 2: I mean I was going to say so many people
- 20:16Speaker 2: swear by it, but then I'm like, all those people
- 20:17Speaker 2: are just people I've heard in like ads or whatever.
- 20:19Speaker 2: It's like, Oh, I don't.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Really believe it. I mean, I just can't imagine really
- 20:23Speaker 3: like right, like totally sober, you know what I mean,
- 20:28Speaker 3: like really like alert, like not tired.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Like I mean, I think I'm too skeptical that I
- 20:32Speaker 2: would just be thinking about that through the entire process,
- 20:34Speaker 2: and even if it were possible, it would get in
- 20:36Speaker 2: the way of my brain being free to be impressionable.
- 20:40Speaker 3: I mean, I'm open to it.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I would love to be hypnotized.
- 20:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it would be fierce.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I mean, if that's a real thing that can happen,
- 20:46Speaker 2: it's magic.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I well, you know what. I was on the street
- 20:50Speaker 3: the other day walking home from Ralph's and this young
- 20:53Speaker 3: boy was like following me and then he like tied
- 20:56Speaker 3: me on the shoulder at the intersection. He's like, he
- 20:59Speaker 3: is like katya. I was like, yeah, He's like, do
- 21:00Speaker 3: you want to see a magic trick?
- 21:01Speaker 2: Oh?
- 21:02Speaker 3: I know that. I was like in my head him
- 21:04Speaker 3: like absolutely, fuck not. But then of course I was
- 21:07Speaker 3: just like sure whatever, and he blew my mind.
- 21:10Speaker 2: What did he do?
- 21:10Speaker 3: I can't I can't succinctly describe it, but he basically
- 21:16Speaker 3: he took my phone and gave it back to me.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Then I took his phone and I didn't type anything
- 21:22Speaker 3: into his phone. And then long story short, he had
- 21:25Speaker 3: told me to think of a place, a very specific place,
- 21:28Speaker 3: not like a country, but somewhere or like some a
- 21:31Speaker 3: very specific place. And I thought of one i'd been to,
- 21:34Speaker 3: and he said the Upper House in Hong Kong. And
- 21:36Speaker 3: there was no way for him to know that who
- 21:39Speaker 3: there was just through the process there was No. I
- 21:42Speaker 3: was like, holy shit, he was. I was like, how
- 21:45Speaker 3: did you do that? He's like magic? I was like,
- 21:48Speaker 3: oh my god.
- 21:49Speaker 2: I mean everything about the setup of that is like.
- 21:52Speaker 3: He'sh I wish I know, I really because the way
- 21:55Speaker 3: that he did it, the process, at the order of events,
- 21:58Speaker 3: it really seemed impossible, well for me to have for
- 22:01Speaker 3: him to have known, right, obviously I'm dumb, and it
- 22:06Speaker 3: worked really well. But it was like, yeah, it was
- 22:08Speaker 3: mind blowing. Is twenty one years old?
- 22:09Speaker 2: Wow? He just takes your phone and then vanishes in
- 22:12Speaker 2: a cloud of smoke. Oh he got me?
- 22:14Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Oh god, oh no. I've been to one hypnotist show
- 22:19Speaker 2: and I always find them very annoying because I'm like
- 22:21Speaker 2: everyone on stage just seems to be faking it, of
- 22:23Speaker 2: course and trying to act wacky.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Yeah. I always think their plans. Yeah, i mean, who's
- 22:27Speaker 3: there to Yeah, none of that stuff impresses me, really,
- 22:31Speaker 3: I'll close up. Magic's a little interesting.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it's at least impressive.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Yeah, it tricks me. It's just once you like watch
- 22:39Speaker 3: a video about how to do it, it's all the thing's
- 22:41Speaker 3: all spoiled, you know.
- 22:43Speaker 1: You know.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Anyways, I mean, look, I think there's something else we
- 22:46Speaker 2: should talk about. I love magic, but there's something else
- 22:50Speaker 2: that appeared in the studio today.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Yes, a gift.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Yeah, the podcast is I said no gifts, which.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Is and I'm an Icona class.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Famous iconic rule break.
- 23:04Speaker 3: But wait, look at please describe it.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, this is because when you walked into the
- 23:09Speaker 2: studio you were holding a just a shopping.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Bag, Ralph.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yeah, which a lot of guests on this podcast Wilder
- 23:15Speaker 2: show up essentially with a garbage bag or whatever, and
- 23:17Speaker 2: that's the wrapping. I thought, oh, that's but then you
- 23:19Speaker 2: pulled it out and it was so beautifully.
- 23:20Speaker 3: I didn't have any wrapping paper at home, so I
- 23:22Speaker 3: that was a gift bag that I cut up. And
- 23:24Speaker 3: then I found some baby Rick rack in my studio.
- 23:27Speaker 3: It made it as like because didn't have any ribbon,
- 23:29Speaker 3: and it's so shittily wrap that I think it needed
- 23:31Speaker 3: a little ribbon.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I think it's so cute.
- 23:34Speaker 3: But that card stock is very expensive, thank you very much.
- 23:37Speaker 2: And it feels expensive. It's textured. Yeah, and then it's
- 23:40Speaker 2: got my name in Russian. Yeah, so yeah, wow, that's amazing.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a b. The P is an r that
- 23:48Speaker 3: middle one with the triangles A D. It's just such
- 23:51Speaker 3: a strange, wonderful language.
- 23:53Speaker 2: How did it take you to learn to write Russian?
- 23:56Speaker 3: Oh? Like two days?
- 23:57Speaker 2: Two days?
- 23:58Speaker 3: That's so easy really?
- 23:59Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:59Speaker 3: Yeah, you can learn the alphabet in like four hours.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Hell, is there alphabet twenty six letters? I think it's
- 24:04Speaker 2: like thirty three thirty three?
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yeah, they have and they have some. They have a
- 24:07Speaker 3: couple of letters that are like not letters. They're called
- 24:11Speaker 3: signs that they like affect the pronunciation of other letters.
- 24:14Speaker 3: I love cyrillic alphabet so much. It's so sexy.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Oh it's I mean, it's so beautiful. It really is
- 24:22Speaker 2: really stylish looking.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's beautiful.
- 24:24Speaker 2: It gives much more of an impression than our alphabet. A.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Please open the card and read it. And there's a
- 24:33Speaker 3: gift inside as well.
- 24:34Speaker 2: In the envelope. Yeah okay, oh my god.
- 24:39Speaker 3: Ten rubles, yes, ten rubles and it says good luck.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Oh, it says good luck? And how do you say that?
- 24:46Speaker 3: Dachi?
- 24:47Speaker 2: Wow? Okay, So tell me why you gave me ten roubles.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Because I just found it. I was like, I was
- 24:53Speaker 3: looking all over my house. I was like, God, what
- 24:55Speaker 3: do I I was going to give you? I had
- 24:57Speaker 3: these HeLa monsters that were all bubble wrapped.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Like, oh, how many of them do you have?
- 25:03Speaker 3: Free? I don't think they're actually a heal of monsters,
- 25:06Speaker 3: but they're giant lizards. And but then I was like,
- 25:09Speaker 3: what can I give them? I wanted to give him
- 25:10Speaker 3: something useful. I give you something useful. So I gave
- 25:13Speaker 3: you something useful.
- 25:14Speaker 2: It's such a beautiful piece of currency. It's got a bridge,
- 25:17Speaker 2: it's got some sort of tower on it, multiple colors.
- 25:21Speaker 3: I think in today's economy it's probably worth about eight
- 25:23Speaker 3: cents or less even I'm rich. Yeah, Like I think,
- 25:26Speaker 3: like ten thousand rubles is like five dollars.
- 25:29Speaker 2: The podcast Now, well, I mean I think it's been
- 25:32Speaker 2: said before, but literally every other country has such better
- 25:35Speaker 2: looking currency.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Well, I mean Canada and Canada, specially Canada, Australia when
- 25:39Speaker 3: they have the plastic non breakable ones.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Oh I haven't seen this.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Oh are you kidding me? The Australia, Canada, I think
- 25:48Speaker 3: many euros. Now, they're they're you know, they're like plastic clear.
- 25:52Speaker 3: You can't rip them, you can go through the wash,
- 25:54Speaker 3: you go in the ocean, like seriously, they're they're unbreakable
- 25:57Speaker 3: and they're so like slick and smoothly, but they're.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Still like foldable to put in a wallet.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Oh, I mean the same basically the same size as
- 26:04Speaker 3: all the other like a dollar.
- 26:06Speaker 2: How are we so we are behind?
- 26:08Speaker 3: Flop? We flapped so hard on payment and payment methods.
- 26:11Speaker 2: As a country that is so obsessed with money, you
- 26:13Speaker 2: would think we can't.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Seem to get it right in any department.
- 26:16Speaker 2: My god, well I'll have to. I'm gonna spend big
- 26:19Speaker 2: with this, yeah, or maybe invest it?
- 26:21Speaker 3: Oh yeah, just invest it. It's your nest egg.
- 26:24Speaker 2: This is my my grandnieces will be very thankful for this.
- 26:30Speaker 3: I'm a curious. Can you look up how much ten
- 26:32Speaker 3: rubles is because I really think it's probably point zero
- 26:35Speaker 3: one sense, it's something very love I feel like.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Yeah, hon, least find out because it's ten cents ten cents,
- 26:43Speaker 2: so wow, this is a lot more than I had
- 26:45Speaker 2: planned on a bill. I'm on vacation, yeah, yeah, yeah, traveling.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Do you have a lot of Russian currency?
- 26:52Speaker 3: No, that's the only one I found in my house.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Where do you think it came from?
- 26:56Speaker 3: A fan in Nashville?
- 26:57Speaker 2: Oh?
- 26:58Speaker 3: Interesting that in a red Lobster gift card.
- 27:02Speaker 2: A tencent gift card twenty bucks.
- 27:04Speaker 3: That's great, brought you that?
- 27:06Speaker 2: Oh so you haven't gone out? Got to take yourself
- 27:08Speaker 2: to red lobster like lobster. Do you like crab?
- 27:10Speaker 3: Nope?
- 27:11Speaker 2: Any sort of shellfish nope? Oh well the.
- 27:14Speaker 3: Rats of the sea lobster.
- 27:17Speaker 2: They are bugs.
- 27:18Speaker 3: They're like bottom feeders.
- 27:20Speaker 2: They're giant insects. But I think they're delicious, you do,
- 27:24Speaker 2: I know, But I don't eat them that off, no see,
- 27:27Speaker 2: And that's probably why I think they're good, because like
- 27:29Speaker 2: it's so rare and I never am just like eating
- 27:31Speaker 2: the full thing and like cracking the bottom like a
- 27:33Speaker 2: lobster roll probably things yeah, where it's like an element
- 27:37Speaker 2: rather than a yeah, lobster ll. I think it's the butter.
- 27:41Speaker 2: I think that that's kind of the element that I
- 27:42Speaker 2: really like in the lemon so much.
- 27:45Speaker 3: I'm such a picky eater though. What's what's your favorite food?
- 27:48Speaker 2: My favorite food, I would say probably burrito.
- 27:52Speaker 3: What's in it?
- 27:53Speaker 2: I like like a San Francisco Mission burrito. So living
- 27:56Speaker 2: in LA is kind of held where it's like whereas
- 27:59Speaker 2: rice and bean in guacamole and sour cream and.
- 28:02Speaker 3: Cheese in l A on your mind.
- 28:06Speaker 2: La, you can but they're not good because l A,
- 28:08Speaker 2: there aren't a lot of good flower tortillas. There's I've
- 28:11Speaker 2: read like articles about this, okay, and it's very hard
- 28:15Speaker 2: to find a really good burrito. There are other like
- 28:17Speaker 2: La style burritos, but they're usually just like beans and meat. Okay,
- 28:21Speaker 2: but like if you go to San Francisco, phenomenal breedos
- 28:25Speaker 2: and they're like the sort of breedo that you can stand.
- 28:27Speaker 2: It's so it's like a football. Yeah, it's really a
- 28:30Speaker 2: beautiful thing. But I think burrito or a hero. I
- 28:33Speaker 2: love eros.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Okay, Well that's how you say zero?
- 28:36Speaker 2: What do you say gyro?
- 28:37Speaker 3: Well I did for about the first thirty years of
- 28:40Speaker 3: my life, and then I said, I thought there were heroes.
- 28:43Speaker 3: Oh hero is a year zero.
- 28:45Speaker 2: I think it is zero. But I think a lot
- 28:47Speaker 2: of people just continue to say gyro and like that's
- 28:50Speaker 2: an accepted form of hero is a you were wrong,
- 28:54Speaker 2: you were simply wrong, okay, okay.
- 28:55Speaker 3: I also love the Greek alphabet, which alphabet comes from interesting,
- 29:00Speaker 3: beautiful letters, lovely letters.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the Greeks were really doing it early on,
- 29:05Speaker 2: yeah everything, Yeah, they really they were leading the way
- 29:08Speaker 2: and that's why the euro is so delicious. But that's
- 29:10Speaker 2: another thing you can't really get in La because there's
- 29:12Speaker 2: not a large Greek population. So I've found myself in
- 29:14Speaker 2: a trap. Damn you gotta go to Grease, gotta go
- 29:17Speaker 2: to Greece. Have been no, I would love to go
- 29:20Speaker 2: to Greece. I would love to go to What's your
- 29:22Speaker 2: favorite food?
- 29:24Speaker 3: If I had to eat one dinner meal for the
- 29:26Speaker 3: rest of my life, it would be what I had
- 29:28Speaker 3: last night, which was spicy beef noodles at this really wonderful,
- 29:32Speaker 3: great Chinese place buy my house called Land Noodles. I
- 29:37Speaker 3: suggested to try it. They're absolutely delicious, and then shy
- 29:40Speaker 3: it like chicken fried dumplings.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Oh that sounds phenomenal.
- 29:44Speaker 3: It's so good. This noodle place is off the hook.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Oh it's I think about it right now and I'm like, yeah,
- 29:50Speaker 3: lan noodles, check it out.
- 29:52Speaker 2: You saying that reminds Probably a meal that I would
- 29:55Speaker 2: eat for the rest of my life is the fried
- 29:56Speaker 2: chicken plate at Doune. Have you been there? The Mediterranean
- 30:00Speaker 2: kind of word. It's like hummus and shredded cabbage. Unbelievable,
- 30:04Speaker 2: and they make the pita there.
- 30:06Speaker 3: It's so right there.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Yes, you've got to make the pita in store.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Yes you can't. You can't have it shipped in from
- 30:13Speaker 3: some lab or whatever.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Well, shul I opened this little box here. Okay, careful
- 30:20Speaker 2: with the baby rick rack. Okay, I'm being very I'm
- 30:24Speaker 2: gonna put this in my hair or something you can
- 30:26Speaker 2: do braids, braid.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Now, this is or something to keep in the house.
- 30:32Speaker 3: It's not for you, okay, this isn't for guests. Oh, fantastic,
- 30:35Speaker 3: something that people often overlook, especially guys. Okay, I brought
- 30:40Speaker 3: the right thing.
- 30:40Speaker 2: That paper sounds so good.
- 30:42Speaker 3: Yeah, oh yeah, a smr.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Oh it's so crispy party paper. Oh, this is a
- 30:50Speaker 2: This is fantastic. Actually, I wouldn't have I wouldn't have
- 30:53Speaker 2: this in my home. It's a box of tampons.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean especially I'm not going to assume your
- 30:58Speaker 3: your orientation. But yeah, gay guys. I had noticed a
- 31:02Speaker 3: lot of gay guys would never this would never ever
- 31:04Speaker 3: cross their mind. No, of course, you know, maybe if
- 31:07Speaker 3: they when their sister comes over, or their niece or
- 31:09Speaker 3: their mom or whatever, or they're you know, someone with
- 31:12Speaker 3: a bloody nose, someone with a vagina like you know,
- 31:16Speaker 3: it's always important to have tampons. I also have pads
- 31:19Speaker 3: in the houses.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Oh this is such a I mean this should be
- 31:22Speaker 2: a public service announcement right now, any.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Wellyould they also should be free?
- 31:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, of course. I mean it's a well known
- 31:29Speaker 2: scam on women. I mean there's so many the essential
- 31:34Speaker 2: tax where it's like, oh, here are a bunch of
- 31:35Speaker 2: other things you have to pay for, which this should
- 31:38Speaker 2: just be everywhere.
- 31:39Speaker 3: They should be like hanging from trees everywhere.
- 31:41Speaker 2: They should be next to the napkin dispenser at restaurants.
- 31:43Speaker 3: They should be with the forking knife.
- 31:45Speaker 2: They should be floating down rivers.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Yes, they should be.
- 31:48Speaker 2: They probably are actually killing doll new ones.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, it's crazy.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a I mean, it didn't even cross
- 31:57Speaker 2: my mind. And the next time this is needed in
- 32:00Speaker 2: my home when a woman needs it, I'm going to
- 32:02Speaker 2: be an absolute.
- 32:04Speaker 3: We're going to be a hero.
- 32:06Speaker 2: You're gonna be a giro. I'm going to be a giro.
- 32:09Speaker 2: I will be a lamb and a delicious peda covered
- 32:12Speaker 2: in a yogurt sauce. So that sounds bad, but this
- 32:15Speaker 2: is a.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Also really I recently saw Carrie, so this was on
- 32:19Speaker 3: my mind.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Oh of course.
- 32:21Speaker 3: That opening scene is pretty wild.
- 32:23Speaker 2: That movie. I never saw the remake.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Don't Don't do Not ever please, no, no disrespect to
- 32:30Speaker 3: the people who did it, but there was no unnecessary Yeah,
- 32:33Speaker 3: it's like Carrie's masterpiece.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so perfect and that Yeah, that opening scenems amazing.
- 32:37Speaker 3: It's amazing. And it's like there's a lot of naked
- 32:40Speaker 3: bodies and it's like bush and titties.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they really go for that.
- 32:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Like Brian de Palmer said, you will see full
- 32:47Speaker 3: female nudity and a lot of it right away. It's
- 32:50Speaker 3: pretty wild.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Yeah that in the seventies, I feel like a male
- 32:53Speaker 2: director could get away with that.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 2: While I was watching the Substance, I was like, if
- 32:58Speaker 2: a man directed this, he should be a rested.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that it does like it is. It
- 33:05Speaker 3: is reassuring that a woman director did that. But you know,
- 33:08Speaker 3: she has a real she in her other movie Revenge Too,
- 33:11Speaker 3: Like she loves butts, like she has the butt. Oh yeah,
- 33:17Speaker 3: it is like leering and like that. That that lens
- 33:20Speaker 3: is like but conscious, you know, and it's I was
- 33:25Speaker 3: thinking about how stressful for Margaret quality that must have
- 33:27Speaker 3: been the perfect version of denymore.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Nightmare every day waking up and thinking and now my
- 33:34Speaker 2: body has to be perfect.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yes, I mean I think that they did. Like they
- 33:38Speaker 3: you know, they sort of shined it up and post
- 33:41Speaker 3: a little bit, but you know it's like, fuck, that's
- 33:44Speaker 3: a lot.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Of pressure and they didn't have any butt doubles. Movies
- 33:47Speaker 2: will do that occasionally.
- 33:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think they did. Yeah, I don't think.
- 33:50Speaker 2: So how is a butt double even found? Or is
- 33:53Speaker 2: there like a casting director.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Well, you think about like the people the team that
- 33:57Speaker 3: are like the who stand in for during lighting tests.
- 34:01Speaker 2: You know, it's like that kind of thing, right, But
- 34:02Speaker 2: it's like do you go do you tell people you've
- 34:05Speaker 2: got to look at my ass? This is perfect for Hollywood?
- 34:08Speaker 2: Or is it somebody people scouting question?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Maybe it's like a modeling gig.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Oh that makes sense, kind of like with like hand models. Yes,
- 34:17Speaker 2: that kind of thing.
- 34:18Speaker 3: Oh my god, hand models. I mean if you've seen
- 34:20Speaker 3: in foot models, oh.
- 34:22Speaker 2: The most perfect hearts of bodies that you could possibly see.
- 34:25Speaker 3: And then you look at your own hands, I'm like,
- 34:26Speaker 3: oh my god, I the crypt keeper, right of course,
- 34:29Speaker 3: my one hundred and fifty years old. Yeah, that tricksy
- 34:33Speaker 3: is always getting on we'd like to put makeup on
- 34:35Speaker 3: my hands because they're often translucent gray and purple. But yeah,
- 34:39Speaker 3: like it's yeah, it's interesting to have like a perfect
- 34:41Speaker 3: part of your body and like make that your.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Career, right, I know it, Yeah, just like count on it.
- 34:46Speaker 2: But it's got to be scary knowing that it will deteriorate.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, well the hands, especially of course age. That's
- 34:52Speaker 3: why all the aging stars wear gloves now, they do,
- 34:56Speaker 3: I know.
- 34:57Speaker 2: And a lot of people now are wearing gloves while driving.
- 35:00Speaker 3: Oh but driving gloves or you know, I mean.
- 35:02Speaker 2: It's so chic.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Yeah, get the Telly or Sini Oh Italian Italian brand,
- 35:08Speaker 3: I don't know. They make exquisite leather gloves Telly Forcinilly. Okay,
- 35:14Speaker 3: I believe it's still a thing. Oh my god, buttery Soft.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Do you have a pair?
- 35:19Speaker 3: I have several?
- 35:20Speaker 2: Are they in your glove box which I'm now it's
- 35:22Speaker 2: just literally clicking that's where you have your driving.
- 35:24Speaker 3: No, I've never had I've never driven with them. But
- 35:26Speaker 3: they're black and red like driving gloves. Oh, they're so sexy.
- 35:31Speaker 3: But I need to live in la When are you going,
- 35:33Speaker 3: know where? Like when you when your hand's cold?
- 35:36Speaker 2: Oh, that's true. You know, yeah, I get I get
- 35:38Speaker 2: cold feet circulation.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, do you have clammy hands?
- 35:44Speaker 1: No?
- 35:44Speaker 2: Really dry?
- 35:45Speaker 3: I'm so jealous. Do your feme like ship at the
- 35:48Speaker 3: end of the day. No, do yours like the cat's ass? Yeah,
- 35:53Speaker 3: because I'm sweaty and gross. It's always like I somebody
- 35:56Speaker 3: wanted to hold my hand. It was tricksy. She wanted
- 35:59Speaker 3: a like grab my hand. I was like, you don't
- 36:01Speaker 3: want to do that, and she grabbed it anything. She's like,
- 36:02Speaker 3: oh my god, I just like.
- 36:05Speaker 2: I told you this frictionless service.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really gross.
- 36:10Speaker 2: I might invest in some driving gloves.
- 36:12Speaker 3: Or opera length or all the way up to the shoulder.
- 36:15Speaker 2: This podcast is very glove oriented, actually because I have
- 36:17Speaker 2: to do demonstrations with gifts and for the on Instagram,
- 36:21Speaker 2: I'll frequently have this. I have a particular pair of
- 36:23Speaker 2: gloves that are now filthy. They're like white opera gloves,
- 36:27Speaker 2: but no, it's it's probably like a cotton with a
- 36:31Speaker 2: little imbrota. You would not believe how dirty they are.
- 36:37Speaker 2: I do. I would believe it.
- 36:38Speaker 3: White cotton gloves is just asking for it.
- 36:41Speaker 2: And about half of our listeners are constantly demanding that
- 36:43Speaker 2: I washed them, and the other half are like, let
- 36:45Speaker 2: them get as dirty as possible. I accidentally washed one
- 36:48Speaker 2: the other day because I took them to New York
- 36:49Speaker 2: and then one snuck into a pair of pants and
- 36:51Speaker 2: got washed, kind of a hopeful story for the club.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I was like, oh no, I left it in New York.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Then I took laundry and I was like, no, it's
- 36:57Speaker 2: kind of cleaning. And so I guess I'm sad spying
- 37:00Speaker 2: both audiences. Now one's clean, one's filthy.
- 37:02Speaker 3: That's great. Oh yeah, right, that's nice. But you should
- 37:06Speaker 3: you deserve a pair of like beautiful buttery soft opera
- 37:11Speaker 3: like up to the shoulder length red leather gloves from Italy.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Pulling those on every time I try, oh you will.
- 37:19Speaker 3: It's like, I mean, I don't know if you're like
- 37:21Speaker 3: against you know, Vigan or whatever, anti whatever, anti leather,
- 37:23Speaker 3: but they're so it's like, oh my god, they're so
- 37:28Speaker 3: soft and they're so it's sumptuous.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Oh it sounds lovely. Kind of just a spa day
- 37:35Speaker 2: for your entire arm. Yeah, but what are you thinking
- 37:39Speaker 2: when a friend pulls up to your house and you
- 37:41Speaker 2: see them wearing driving gloves? Do you think what's going on?
- 37:43Speaker 2: Are you're like, oh cool?
- 37:44Speaker 3: Are we? I was like, I would probably think like
- 37:47Speaker 3: are we? Is this an old timey movie or something.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I don't know anybody who could really pull that up right.
- 37:54Speaker 2: It feels like such an affect. It's just like a.
- 37:55Speaker 3: Jimmy Stewart, Carrie Grant, Jimmy Dean kind of thing, or
- 38:00Speaker 3: like I don't know, like I don't who is driving?
- 38:04Speaker 3: But also what's the outfit?
- 38:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I really has to match the whole.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Little It's not like it's not like ath leisure, right, if.
- 38:10Speaker 2: You're just in your pajamas driving out with this beautiful
- 38:12Speaker 2: pair of gloves.
- 38:12Speaker 3: What do you think? I have to ask you? What
- 38:14Speaker 3: is your opinion on people who wear foot flops in public?
- 38:17Speaker 3: In LA?
- 38:18Speaker 2: It's a very it's a tricky line to walk. I'll say.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I feel like there are certain people I'm like, Wow,
- 38:24Speaker 2: they're just comfortable with what they're doing. Then there's other
- 38:28Speaker 2: are other people who I'm like, you could pull it
- 38:30Speaker 2: together a little bit more, and you should give give
- 38:33Speaker 2: it ten percent more effort.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Put on a shoe.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Put on a shoe, please. I I'm trying to think
- 38:39Speaker 2: if I've ever wornd I mean, certainly in the past
- 38:41Speaker 2: I have, but I don't think I would now. I
- 38:43Speaker 2: think my feet are hideous, okay, and I don't want
- 38:46Speaker 2: people looking at them. Yeah, And also it just feels
- 38:50Speaker 2: too casual. It's just not I'm not on the beach, right,
- 38:54Speaker 2: and LA streets are absolutely feilfilthy. What's your take?
- 38:58Speaker 3: I think that, I mean, I have. I have been
- 39:00Speaker 3: known to like walk out of the house to go
- 39:02Speaker 3: collect something from a like the car right outside, like
- 39:06Speaker 3: run out to get the mail in slides with my
- 39:09Speaker 3: photix pose I do. I'm now really kind of solidly
- 39:13Speaker 3: in the camp of don't ever wear them because it's
- 39:16Speaker 3: you're like disgusting, because it's just gross, it's filthy, and
- 39:20Speaker 3: I think it's I have more of a problem with
- 39:22Speaker 3: that than not washing your hands after using the bathroom
- 39:24Speaker 3: in a public restroom.
- 39:25Speaker 2: That actually makes sense. My dick is not that dirty, right,
- 39:28Speaker 2: everyone's basically kind of clean, hopefully.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Yeah. I've showered like once or twice every day. Right,
- 39:34Speaker 3: my generals This, sorry is gross, but my generals are
- 39:37Speaker 3: probably the cleanest part of my.
- 39:38Speaker 2: Body, right, you know what I mean? Just like and I.
- 39:41Speaker 3: Like I don't really touch the apparatus.
- 39:43Speaker 2: Wow, you're making a very good point here. Well, everyone stopped.
- 39:48Speaker 3: I was listening to the podcast I listened to all
- 39:49Speaker 3: the time, and they were they were incredulous, or like
- 39:53Speaker 3: the amount of people it's a movie podcast and is
- 39:55Speaker 3: like they were both saying, the amount of people I
- 39:57Speaker 3: see walking out of the men's room or the women's
- 39:59Speaker 3: room without washing your hands, it's like seventy percent. It's disgusting,
- 40:03Speaker 3: it's unconscionable. It's filthy, it's gross, it's nasty. And I'm like, well,
- 40:08Speaker 3: I think touching all of the fussts and the stuff
- 40:10Speaker 3: is like nasty and like everything else, I just get
- 40:13Speaker 3: in there. I don't. I just as little contact with
- 40:17Speaker 3: the everything as possible. And then yeah, I don't know if.
- 40:20Speaker 2: You washed yourself, that would be myself if you did.
- 40:25Speaker 3: I know you always clean up the toilet.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Oh okay, so now we're right now, this is dangerous territory.
- 40:31Speaker 2: I do think you should be washing hands if you're
- 40:33Speaker 2: cleaning up the toilet.
- 40:34Speaker 3: But I'm using a lot of toilet paper.
- 40:36Speaker 2: You've gotta be using a lot.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's my hands. A lot of hands are
- 40:39Speaker 3: not getting saturated with urine.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Baseball, mit level of toilet.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Of course, I have my mits on go everywhere. I
- 40:46Speaker 3: think I'm digging myself into a really gross hole right
- 40:49Speaker 3: now because I'm not making I mean I do sometimes
- 40:53Speaker 3: wash my hands if I get up a plane, usually
- 40:55Speaker 3: because of the plane, because of the plane disgusting the
- 40:58Speaker 3: planes discussed.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Yes, you know war so no, I mean, I I
- 41:03Speaker 2: can see your argument here.
- 41:05Speaker 3: I'm definitely saying like the world is disgusting.
- 41:09Speaker 2: And yeah, like if you're walking around in La almost barefoot,
- 41:12Speaker 2: you were walking through minimum animal p likely human pee.
- 41:19Speaker 3: And if you're in San Francisco, there's a lot of
- 41:20Speaker 3: human shit.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean all of this is happening constantly
- 41:24Speaker 2: on these streets, on the sidewalks. And then you're like,
- 41:27Speaker 2: if you're not showering before bed, Oh do you.
- 41:30Speaker 3: Shower before No?
- 41:31Speaker 2: I don't. But I've wear shoes in bed. I should
- 41:36Speaker 2: you make a very good point. I'll be ready to
- 41:38Speaker 2: go completely naked, choose.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Laced loafers, you know, like from floor shine, ready for
- 41:47Speaker 3: super shiny like dress shoes. Well, my grandmother was so
- 41:51Speaker 3: hyper vigilant she would like sleep with one leg on
- 41:53Speaker 3: the floor. Wow, I mean like she would be like this,
- 41:55Speaker 3: Like I mean perched and prepped like at a moment's
- 41:59Speaker 3: notice to just fly out of bed. I don't think
- 42:01Speaker 3: it did her a lot.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Of good in that, like the long run, now time
- 42:04Speaker 2: still got her. No, do you shower before bed?
- 42:10Speaker 3: I think it depends on what I do during the day.
- 42:14Speaker 3: I think I'm generally more of a dirty person. I'm
- 42:17Speaker 3: not OCD. I'm the opposite of OCD, which I think
- 42:19Speaker 3: is a pig. And I don't like I'm glad. I'm
- 42:23Speaker 3: not like super No.
- 42:25Speaker 2: I mean like like it's kind of paralyzing.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really tough, and I think so, although sometimes
- 42:31Speaker 3: it does does prevent me from allowing people in my
- 42:33Speaker 3: home because like, for example, if like my friend came
- 42:36Speaker 3: over the other day and I had anxiety, I was like,
- 42:39Speaker 3: and I couldn't tell him not to go upstairs because
- 42:41Speaker 3: I know he would. So now I'm thinking of like
- 42:44Speaker 3: doing like a chain or like a gate or something.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Because my bathroom was like looked like the room from Saw.
- 42:51Speaker 3: It was so gross eye yeah, like so gross, like
- 42:54Speaker 3: shamefully and like gross, like you need help, like professional help. Gross.
- 42:58Speaker 3: But but then I, you know, I go through phases
- 43:00Speaker 3: where I clean it and it's fine. Yeah, I are
- 43:04Speaker 3: you super clean?
- 43:05Speaker 2: I'm very tidy. I wouldn't say like a clean freak,
- 43:07Speaker 2: but like I like things to be put away at
- 43:09Speaker 2: the very least. But like getting out the lysol and
- 43:12Speaker 2: like the bleach and everything to clean the house is
- 43:14Speaker 2: not happening. I'll vacuum. Oh wait, we gotta talk about vacuums. Oh,
- 43:19Speaker 2: I love to talk about vacuum.
- 43:21Speaker 3: I recently learned. I recently learned the good news. I
- 43:26Speaker 3: recently am like a born again vacuum person because for
- 43:30Speaker 3: the longest time I thought, oh my god, of course
- 43:31Speaker 3: it's the dice in, very fuck that dice in. It's
- 43:35Speaker 3: the meala. What's this? M I E L E. Not paid,
- 43:39Speaker 3: They don't know anything about me. But it is the
- 43:42Speaker 3: only vacuum.
- 43:43Speaker 2: Now, is this a bag vacuum?
- 43:44Speaker 3: See here's the thing. Yes, and it's a quarded vacuum, which,
- 43:47Speaker 3: if you're used to the battery powered not courted. But
- 43:51Speaker 3: it's a tough transition. But guess what, this vacuum actually
- 43:54Speaker 3: fucking works, whereas the diceon doesn't fucking work. And if
- 43:58Speaker 3: you put it on a high that battery that'll give
- 44:01Speaker 3: you about thirty eight seconds of activity. I'm battery powered.
- 44:05Speaker 2: You've got that, you're gonna be recharging constantly.
- 44:07Speaker 3: You put it on high, it's literally ten seconds.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Then at you're exhausted.
- 44:12Speaker 3: It's horrible. I get that. The convenience is very seductive.
- 44:15Speaker 3: The lack of cord is very seductive.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Go anywhere, take it on your.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Trip, absolutely, you know. But and it is quite an
- 44:23Speaker 3: adjustment because I'm a big vacuumer. I love the vacuum,
- 44:26Speaker 3: and and the cord is is a real and it's
- 44:29Speaker 3: a little heavy, and it's it's it's it's you know,
- 44:32Speaker 3: but it works, it works, and it's expensive.
- 44:35Speaker 2: How much does it cost?
- 44:36Speaker 3: The one I bought was eight hundred dollars.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Eight hundred dollars.
- 44:39Speaker 3: I'm going to buy a vacuum. I'm never going to
- 44:41Speaker 3: buy a vacuum. I'm never going to buy the right
- 44:43Speaker 3: and the amount of time I use it, Oh, it's incredible.
- 44:46Speaker 3: When you go to the store, they pour a bunch
- 44:48Speaker 3: of kitty litter on the floor to like do the demonstration,
- 44:51Speaker 3: and you're like, okay, I'll take it because it just works.
- 44:56Speaker 2: What store is this?
- 44:57Speaker 3: The vacuum store?
- 44:58Speaker 2: I have to go. I want that it's.
- 44:59Speaker 3: In it's called I think it's called Beverly Hills Vacuum
- 45:03Speaker 3: and it's on Santa Monica Boulevard towards Beverly Hills.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Did you expect this whole demo?
- 45:10Speaker 3: I did not.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Sound's delightful.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Alwa was incredible. He was like an old dude. It's
- 45:14Speaker 3: a small story. He's amazing, and he'll like show you
- 45:17Speaker 3: all the models. And it looks like it like a
- 45:19Speaker 3: fifties housewife kind of thing. Literally like really retro looking
- 45:22Speaker 3: like the Smeg refrigerators.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Oh I love yeah, yeah, I actually listened not to
- 45:27Speaker 2: brag to an episode of a podcast about vacuums.
- 45:29Speaker 3: What were they saying.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Essentially what you're saying right now. You don't want to
- 45:33Speaker 2: get one of these, like uh, I don't cordless, the
- 45:36Speaker 2: cordless or the clear thing that shows you how much
- 45:39Speaker 2: dust is going into it. They're like, get the old
- 45:41Speaker 2: fashioned ones.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:42Speaker 2: And the other thing they say on it is the
- 45:44Speaker 2: best vacuuming is done as you're pulling backwards. Oh and
- 45:48Speaker 2: this song was coming from a vacuum expert.
- 45:50Speaker 3: That may kind of sense though, because it's you're not pushing.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Right and you feel the drag, you really feel it
- 45:56Speaker 2: sucking things.
- 45:57Speaker 3: And then it's got the attachments, the ones for the rug,
- 45:59Speaker 3: one for the hardwood floor, and the difference is so like, ooh,
- 46:04Speaker 3: it's just so satisfying.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Eight hundred dollars.
- 46:08Speaker 3: It was eight hundred and fifty dollars to attacked. Yeah, it
- 46:10Speaker 3: was like I was like, oof, and I know what,
- 46:12Speaker 3: that's out of people's price range.
- 46:14Speaker 2: But Dyson's are like four hundred dollars, right, I mean,
- 46:17Speaker 2: a regular vacuum is not that cheap.
- 46:19Speaker 3: No, And it's a very important part of a person
- 46:22Speaker 3: with a homes life.
- 46:23Speaker 2: It's a sort of like purchase like a mattress, where
- 46:25Speaker 2: you're like, well, I'm using this concept.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Ye, it's like a car purchase, right.
- 46:29Speaker 2: I think you just justify it by like being don't
- 46:32Speaker 2: I don't spend any money. I use this every single day. Yes,
- 46:35Speaker 2: And so it's essentially since for a day.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Absolutely, if you break it down, it's really like probably
- 46:40Speaker 3: like ten rubles a day.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Ten For ten rubles a day, you will be sucking
- 46:45Speaker 2: up as much catlet as you want.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Everything, all that shit will get sucked up. It really
- 46:49Speaker 3: really works.
- 46:50Speaker 2: So how long have you owned this vacuum? For?
- 46:53Speaker 3: About two years now?
- 46:55Speaker 1: Oh?
- 46:55Speaker 3: Okay, and I have no complaints.
- 46:57Speaker 2: And was your house pretty dusty before? That was the
- 46:59Speaker 2: vacuum not doing job well?
- 47:00Speaker 3: I also sew in my I sewstomes in my home,
- 47:05Speaker 3: so there's sequence everywhere.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Means just notions, notions.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Threads in carpet, right, So I really need that extra suckage.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 47:15Speaker 3: It just really gets me. It really does its job.
- 47:18Speaker 3: I love it.
- 47:19Speaker 2: I know. I think vacuuming is a very satisfying chore.
- 47:23Speaker 2: You see the results immediately.
- 47:25Speaker 3: It is immediate. Yeah, the dopamine hit is like yeah right,
- 47:31Speaker 3: like damn, bam, damn sustained, Like awesome.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Did you mow lawns as a kid.
- 47:36Speaker 3: I've never mowed a lawn.
- 47:38Speaker 2: It's a similar thing where you're like, oh, I'm seeing
- 47:40Speaker 2: how clean, Like it's cleaning things up. I'm just I'm
- 47:43Speaker 2: essentially just pushing something and it's the results are here.
- 47:46Speaker 2: I don't have to wait.
- 47:47Speaker 3: But doesn't it like fling the grass like.
- 47:50Speaker 2: It depends on the lawnmower. The one I would use
- 47:53Speaker 2: as a kid had a bag that had to be empty.
- 47:55Speaker 3: To gotch job. That's that freshly?
- 47:58Speaker 2: Oh, the smell is so nice. You're out in the sun.
- 48:01Speaker 2: No complaints?
- 48:02Speaker 3: What about what about the buggy or like the drive.
- 48:06Speaker 2: What is that called a wheeled lawn no way, sit down,
- 48:11Speaker 2: sit down lawnmower?
- 48:15Speaker 3: A tractor.
- 48:16Speaker 2: I don't know. That's rich people don't know what is
- 48:20Speaker 2: that called. Is there an official thing for a lawnmower
- 48:23Speaker 2: that you drive.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Either a ride on mower or tractor mower?
- 48:26Speaker 2: Tractor? Right? I don't think I would like that as much.
- 48:33Speaker 3: M I mean, I think it's like that to me
- 48:35Speaker 3: is in the same the same family as snowmobiles, and
- 48:37Speaker 3: that's scary to me.
- 48:38Speaker 2: But to be driving a lawnmower that goes as fast
- 48:41Speaker 2: as a snowmobile, now there's an adventure.
- 48:43Speaker 3: You will get a lot done in a day.
- 48:46Speaker 2: My god, that feels like terrify her.
- 48:47Speaker 3: For ye totally, Oh my god.
- 48:50Speaker 2: A clown on a ride on?
- 48:52Speaker 3: Yeah, oh well there was that. There was that movie
- 48:56Speaker 3: where this the little child mode over her parents. Oh
- 49:01Speaker 3: but I don't think it was. I don't think it
- 49:02Speaker 3: was the tractor style.
- 49:03Speaker 2: I think it was the right Oh, okay, okay, well
- 49:06Speaker 2: the movies. I think we have a new idea for
- 49:08Speaker 2: the movie business. Somebody drive over someone.
- 49:10Speaker 3: Yes, and it could Hey listen, Damien Leone, please cast
- 49:14Speaker 3: me in The Terrifier Part four and you can. I
- 49:17Speaker 3: was trying to think of, like what it would be
- 49:18Speaker 3: a fun way to kill me as a drag queen,
- 49:21Speaker 3: And I'm like, I think he should like maybe like
- 49:24Speaker 3: take my little heels and like gouge him in my
- 49:26Speaker 3: eyeballs and then like and then have Art like punch
- 49:29Speaker 3: a hole through my mouth in the back of my
- 49:31Speaker 3: head and then stick my wig like through it and out.
- 49:34Speaker 3: I don't know, like it'd be so cool. I really
- 49:36Speaker 3: want to get killed by Art the clown. I'm just
- 49:39Speaker 3: trying to put it out there.
- 49:39Speaker 2: The next scene, I am run over by a lawnmar
- 49:43Speaker 2: going seventy miles an hour. Yes, it's incredibly really, I mean, actually,
- 49:47Speaker 2: do you know what I was going to ask you
- 49:48Speaker 2: or tell you. I just recently saw for the first
- 49:51Speaker 2: time The Hand that Rocks the Cradle? Oh my, how
- 49:54Speaker 2: have I gone this long without saying this movie?
- 49:57Speaker 3: Oh my god, delightful. In know Rebecca de Mornay is, Oh,
- 50:03Speaker 3: Julianne Moore was fabulous than that.
- 50:05Speaker 2: I'm surprised I didn't even know she was in it.
- 50:07Speaker 3: Yeah, he's like, oh, oh my god. When she's like
- 50:10Speaker 3: she comes home, She's like where the fuck is clear?
- 50:13Speaker 3: She's in the greenhouse, and it's like, oh my god.
- 50:16Speaker 3: And then what she says to Solomon Peyton Flanners, which
- 50:20Speaker 3: she's I cannot repeat it here, but she is so,
- 50:24Speaker 3: Oh my god, it's so.
- 50:26Speaker 2: And then she kind of cracks the case with the
- 50:27Speaker 2: wind window. It's so funny.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm looking for windshine, you know, I can get one.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Missus Motte, oh so cunty. And it's just like, I
- 50:37Speaker 3: don't know, if you know. I always like these, like
- 50:40Speaker 3: beloved of movies of mine from the nineties. Sometimes I
- 50:43Speaker 3: rewatch them. I'm like, oh god, this is trash, but
- 50:46Speaker 3: I love that movie.
- 50:47Speaker 2: It's very fun. I've told a couple other people that
- 50:50Speaker 2: I watched it recently and they said to me, oh,
- 50:52Speaker 2: it's so scary, and that was one element. I was like, no,
- 50:54Speaker 2: it's not. It's very fun to watch.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Hayten Flanders.
- 50:59Speaker 2: That's what it's.
- 51:00Speaker 3: What's what a pseudonym?
- 51:01Speaker 2: I mean?
- 51:01Speaker 3: If you're like that does that? That sounds very like
- 51:04Speaker 3: I won't kill you if my name.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Is completely asking anything about Peyton Flanders.
- 51:08Speaker 3: Peyton Flanders, the breast Pump, the windshime. A lot of
- 51:12Speaker 3: like little clues in that movie.
- 51:14Speaker 2: Of course, her appearing from behind the school bus to
- 51:17Speaker 2: be the nanny. Hello, I'm just a normal woman who
- 51:20Speaker 2: wants a nanny job off the street. Yeah crazy, don't
- 51:24Speaker 2: ask any questions. No, it's such a good time watching.
- 51:27Speaker 3: The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that
- 51:29Speaker 3: rules the world. I've never heard that before. That's not expression.
- 51:32Speaker 3: It's not an expression. It's not an expression.
- 51:35Speaker 2: That's so not a pillow somewhere. I mean, it sounds
- 51:38Speaker 2: so much like a real expression, though, you're like, oh,
- 51:40Speaker 2: I guess I just never heard that one. But it's
- 51:43Speaker 2: also so evil sounding.
- 51:44Speaker 3: It's like what so I mean, it's like a really
- 51:46Speaker 3: evil premise too, Like she's sexually assaulted by a gynecologist,
- 51:50Speaker 3: and then and then that guy of colleges is out
- 51:53Speaker 3: it commits suicide, and then his his widowed wife gets
- 51:57Speaker 3: revenge on the woman who who like out.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like really fucked up, really really fucked up,
- 52:06Speaker 3: very confused. The morning fucking plays evil very well.
- 52:10Speaker 2: Oh, she's fantastic.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Cutting that apple with the knife in.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Like, oh, anybody cutting an apple with a knife, you
- 52:16Speaker 2: know something's up, something that's going up. They're going to
- 52:19Speaker 2: steal your husband or kill you in the house.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Yeah, they're they're breastfeeding your child. Yeah yeah, and they're
- 52:25Speaker 3: they're sabotaging your friends. Yeah, it's crazy. What's your favorite movie?
- 52:30Speaker 3: We'll say from the.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Nineties, From the nineties, okay, I mean I could maybe
- 52:35Speaker 2: we just say from the eighties, just so so I
- 52:37Speaker 2: have an answer. I would say, I love It's it's
- 52:41Speaker 2: probably a tie between After Hours and King of Comedy.
- 52:44Speaker 3: I have seen neither of them.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Neither of them.
- 52:46Speaker 3: No, they're delightful, I'm sure. Is that Martin movies.
- 52:51Speaker 2: And they're both like very out of his normal thing
- 52:54Speaker 2: because they're kind of like surreal comedies, and they're both
- 52:59Speaker 2: very funny, but very strange and like immediately entertaining in
- 53:03Speaker 2: the way the eighties movies are where you're like, there's
- 53:05Speaker 2: no boredom, you're just in.
- 53:07Speaker 3: You love a movie that has not one extra fucking.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Scene, like, no superpose.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Moments, not one fucking sentence doesn't belong there, you know.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Control it's great. What's your favorite movie?
- 53:20Speaker 3: If I had, my quick answer is Witches of Eastwick.
- 53:22Speaker 2: I've never seen it.
- 53:23Speaker 3: It's fucking great And what every scenes fabri.
- 53:26Speaker 2: Tonally is it creepy? Is it fun it's it's the
- 53:29Speaker 2: super it's a it's a it's a.
- 53:31Speaker 3: I mean, it's a thriller kind of. It's it's funny,
- 53:35Speaker 3: it's sexy. It's like it's three women who discovered that
- 53:40Speaker 3: they're witches and then that they conjure the devil to
- 53:43Speaker 3: move into their small New England town played by Jack Nicholson,
- 53:46Speaker 3: and then they become like this sex like well, I
- 53:51Speaker 3: won't give it away, but it's amazing. And there's it's
- 53:54Speaker 3: like cher Michelle fiv Ver, Susan Sarandon, Veronica Cartwright, who's
- 53:57Speaker 3: a choose up the scenery something. Jenkins who plays he's great,
- 54:05Speaker 3: and Jack Nicholson is just he is Jack Nicholson ing
- 54:08Speaker 3: in this movie.
- 54:09Speaker 2: He's such a good pull for the devil.
- 54:10Speaker 3: He is so incredible in this role.
- 54:13Speaker 2: Oh, I've got to see.
- 54:14Speaker 3: You have to see it.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Sounds delightful, you have to see it.
- 54:17Speaker 3: The CG at the end is very unfortunate. Okay, right
- 54:21Speaker 3: at the last bit, it gets very bad. It's just
- 54:24Speaker 3: not they didn't really have that back then. It's like
- 54:27Speaker 3: an eighty eight.
- 54:28Speaker 2: I think there are certain movies I remember, like that
- 54:30Speaker 2: whole Star Wars situation where they replace all of the
- 54:33Speaker 2: special effects with like CG and it was a giant disaster.
- 54:36Speaker 2: But I feel like if a movie has bad CG,
- 54:38Speaker 2: we should go back and help him out right.
- 54:40Speaker 3: I was like, you know, it's funny like this movie.
- 54:43Speaker 3: Because of that, I think, oh, it should be Redone.
- 54:45Speaker 3: It was like, no, because you cannot replace those three women.
- 54:49Speaker 3: That's a trifecta.
- 54:50Speaker 2: That cannot No, you're not going to find them again.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Who would that possibly be?
- 54:53Speaker 3: No, I mean it had to be like Emma Stone,
- 54:57Speaker 3: there's not share is so share in in this movie.
- 55:01Speaker 3: She's so fucking good.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Oh, I'm so excited. Maybe this is to share. Oh
- 55:07Speaker 2: she's as an actor. Oh my god, she's Moonstruck is phenomenal.
- 55:10Speaker 3: Yeah. My film critic friend and an author, she I
- 55:14Speaker 3: was like having a tough time at while ago, and
- 55:15Speaker 3: she's like, hey, if you really need like a pick
- 55:17Speaker 3: me up, one of the like never feel good, feel
- 55:19Speaker 3: good movies is Moonstruck. And I'd never seen it before,
- 55:21Speaker 3: and she was one hundred percent right.
- 55:23Speaker 2: So charming.
- 55:24Speaker 3: It's charming, and it's lovely, and it's like an ethnic comedy.
- 55:27Speaker 2: It's just so lovely and the mood is just right.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Yeah, Nicholas Cage is so funny and hot in it.
- 55:32Speaker 2: He can be so funny. Yes, I love Raising Arizona,
- 55:35Speaker 2: me too, such a good movie.
- 55:37Speaker 3: Yeah, what's your favorite horror movie?
- 55:39Speaker 2: Favorite? Okay? So this probably The Haunting? Okay, or like
- 55:44Speaker 2: if and like I said, if I want to be
- 55:46Speaker 2: genuinely scared the strangers.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and all I would live Tyler.
- 55:51Speaker 2: With liv Tyler, and I'll say, this is not a
- 55:53Speaker 2: horror movie, but it is so scary to me as Zodiac.
- 55:56Speaker 2: I think the scariness of it is so well done
- 55:58Speaker 2: that you're telling, Yes, what's your favorite horror movie?
- 56:03Speaker 3: I would probably say I was want to say Candy Man,
- 56:05Speaker 3: but it's not necessarily my like most like rewatchable horror movie.
- 56:10Speaker 3: I like a night right now on Street part three. Okay,
- 56:13Speaker 3: I've only seen the original Dream Warriors. I mean they
- 56:15Speaker 3: all get cheesy, but like, yeah, no, no, I think
- 56:19Speaker 3: the substance is definitely like up there. I think that's
- 56:23Speaker 3: probably my favorite horror movie right now.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Wow, yeah that makes sense. Yeah, but it also does
- 56:27Speaker 2: oh oh no, go ahead.
- 56:29Speaker 3: I mean it's not horror essentially, but kinds of kindness.
- 56:33Speaker 2: Oh, I've only seen the first third of it.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Okay, there's there's another two.
- 56:36Speaker 2: Yes. I kind of went just thinking, oh, I know
- 56:38Speaker 2: this is three things, so I get to see one
- 56:39Speaker 2: and I'll get to see the next two.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I need.
- 56:40Speaker 3: I highly suggest you watch the next two because it's
- 56:43Speaker 3: really it's an art film. Sure, I mean I can't like.
- 56:46Speaker 3: I know my friends who like here not they don't
- 56:48Speaker 3: watch subtitled movies or like you know that kind of
- 56:51Speaker 3: uncultured smiles.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Yeah, dumb people.
- 56:55Speaker 3: They well, they hate it because it's like, what is
- 56:57Speaker 3: this right?
- 56:58Speaker 2: I don't want to think about this after I leave.
- 57:00Speaker 3: It was so I was electrifized.
- 57:02Speaker 2: I really liked the first third. Oh my god, I
- 57:04Speaker 2: didn't leave like, oh I have to get out of here.
- 57:06Speaker 2: It was just couky oh cooky.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Your sex cult?
- 57:10Speaker 2: Oh what yeah, no idea.
- 57:11Speaker 3: When they test the purity of you by putting him
- 57:13Speaker 3: in a super hot sona and then licking the salt
- 57:15Speaker 3: from your belly button. Yes, did you see the part
- 57:19Speaker 3: where she he makes her cut? No?
- 57:23Speaker 2: No, I don't think the second one you're in it's
- 57:27Speaker 2: it really is a perfect thing because you can just
- 57:29Speaker 2: dip in and watch a forty five minute movie.
- 57:32Speaker 3: I fucking love that because I'm like, I don't have
- 57:34Speaker 3: the stamina or the endurance because I'm not on my
- 57:37Speaker 3: if I'm watching a movie on my phone, of course,
- 57:39Speaker 3: like I I'd rather just be on my phone right
- 57:42Speaker 3: and not.
- 57:42Speaker 2: Have a movie. I have a problem looking and just
- 57:44Speaker 2: wasting my life away, and I'm going to do that
- 57:46Speaker 2: rather than watch.
- 57:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll just doom scroll and get carpor Tone and
- 57:49Speaker 3: crick Mates. But in the but the movie has nothing
- 57:51Speaker 3: to do that. Plus, I don't want to watch a
- 57:53Speaker 3: movie that makes me want to look at my phone.
- 57:55Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, no no. That's why I have
- 57:57Speaker 2: to go to a movie theater.
- 57:58Speaker 3: I love the theater.
- 58:00Speaker 2: But this is mine And I've said this a million
- 58:02Speaker 2: times on this podcast. I have that like movie past
- 58:04Speaker 2: thing or whatever, first stubs member subs remember yeah, And
- 58:07Speaker 2: so if a movie is over three hours long or
- 58:09Speaker 2: three hours, I only see the first half. Then I
- 58:11Speaker 2: leave get on it. And if I like the first half,
- 58:13Speaker 2: I'll go back. But you're not You are not bapping me.
- 58:16Speaker 3: Is very interesting.
- 58:18Speaker 2: You gotta try it. The feeling of walking out halfway
- 58:20Speaker 2: through it feels truly like you got out of jail.
- 58:23Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's like when I left when I cut
- 58:25Speaker 3: school to watch Hanging Up the movie and then then
- 58:28Speaker 3: left like forty five minutes in. But I rarely walk
- 58:32Speaker 3: out of a theater. I walked out of Twisters. Oh
- 58:34Speaker 3: you walk because I my friend. My friend and I
- 58:37Speaker 3: were like, we're gonna go see this. We know it's
- 58:39Speaker 3: gonna be bad. It was so bad, it's a very stupid.
- 58:43Speaker 3: There is a line the mom more a Tyranny says
- 58:47Speaker 3: she always loved Weather, talking about her daughter, like she
- 58:50Speaker 3: always loved Weather, Like, what the fuck so bad? We
- 58:55Speaker 3: walked out before even like the finale set piece was over,
- 58:58Speaker 3: like let's get the fuck out of here. Have you
- 59:00Speaker 3: walked out of movies because you hated them?
- 59:02Speaker 2: Yes, there have been a couple when I can't remember
- 59:04Speaker 2: what they were, but they were like they're the sort
- 59:06Speaker 2: of movie everybody like this is an entertaining bat I'm
- 59:08Speaker 2: bored and it's enough. Yeah, it's like I don't need
- 59:11Speaker 2: to be here anymore. But I wish I could think
- 59:13Speaker 2: of them off the top of my head.
- 59:15Speaker 3: You know, I was, and I was super tired, in
- 59:17Speaker 3: a terrible mood when I saw May December, which I
- 59:19Speaker 3: really regret because it's so good. It is like when
- 59:22Speaker 3: I read a bunch of criticism about it. It's like, oh,
- 59:24Speaker 3: that's not the movie I saw. Damn it. I need
- 59:26Speaker 3: to rewatch it. Yeah, because it's kind of it's like again,
- 59:31Speaker 3: not for like a dummy.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Right, there's like a discomfort that like you have to Yeah,
- 59:36Speaker 2: the nuance is the discomfort. You're like, oh, there's a
- 59:38Speaker 2: reason for this. Yeah, that movie. I was shocked that
- 59:41Speaker 2: I watched it through the entire thing at home without
- 59:44Speaker 2: looking at my phone.
- 59:45Speaker 3: That's impressive.
- 59:47Speaker 2: I mean, yes, all credit to me and not the movie.
- 59:49Speaker 3: What about Killers of the Flower Moon? Who saw that
- 59:52Speaker 3: in the theater?
- 59:53Speaker 2: Okay, now I have to do it reveals it. I
- 59:55Speaker 2: went with people to see it, and I was trapped
- 59:57Speaker 2: for the whole thing.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Did you have a pea bag or catheter?
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: I had to leave. I had to like walk out
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: and pee halfway through the movie. Oh yeah, because you're like,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: now I've lost a view.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: Part of it. It's a pivotal plot point, and then
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: you have no reference for like the or contacts. I
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: can't leave the theater. I can't leave the theater.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: I had read the book, so I knew what was going. Yeah, everyone,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: let's repeat that I had read the book. I read books,
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: but and I will say, unfortunately the book is better.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: Okay, well, I mean it often is.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: It's a I mean it's a it's also a history book,
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: so the details are just way more interesting. But I
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: sat through, I think a Scorsese movie. You're like, I
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: guess I'll give it to you. You're eighty years old
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: and you made this thing. I'll watch your ninety hour film.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: She's almost four hours. That one that was like three
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: and a half, good long hours.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: And you walk out of the theater and you're not
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: in a different state.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: Oh it's it's so sad and horrible.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you should be traveling if it takes that long.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean the Great Airplane Movie.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: I've gotten really bad at watching airplane movies. I don't
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: know why, Well do you do that thing?
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: I know a lot of people do this. I for
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: some reason do. I put on my own movie, but
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: then I watched somebody else's movie.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: Of course, you're distracted. I can't help, but I want
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: to know what's going on in their brain that made
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: them watch that movie.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: I watch it even if I don't want to watch it,
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: Like I could have the movie I've always wanted to
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: see on my screen. But then they're watching like Love
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: Is Blind season three, and I'll have to watch it.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: It's so weird.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: You want to know what's going on over there.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm curious about Carol Cincinnati.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I hope there's a Carol from Cincinnati on it.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: Of course there is.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: She's ninety five.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: Have you ever seen somebody cry on an airplane?
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: I've cried on an airplane because I think there have
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: been some sort of studies where you're just like weirdly
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: more emotional at Yeah, something happens to your body where
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: it's like kind of like being sick. Because if I
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: watch something while I'm sick.
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: I'll cry.
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: I've cried at Shark Tank while having strapped throat.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: I remember, watched it like Toyota than commercials.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Yeah, this sort of thing will just make me sob
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Have you ever seen, I mean you must have seen
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: somebody crying on a plane?
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Was it like a hysterical No?
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: No, not like a not like a whaling. Okay, not
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: like a like a North Korean funeral whaling, not like that.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: But like, i I'll definitely cry. I I'm you're right,
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: I'm definitely more susceptible to like emotional. It gets sat
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: on airplanes.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Like you could like be more manipulated, and I think
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: that's why movies are more enjoyable on planes.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Yeah, flying sucks.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: It's the worst feeling in the world. It's getting worse
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: and worse.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I was, I was, Uh my friend
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: was telling me about how like back in the day,
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: like on the Concord or whatever, it would be like,
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: you know, smoking and like steak Diane and clams casino
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: and people would be like, you know, no seatbells and
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: they're swing dance and then the thing, you know, it's
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: like a wild like crazy, yeah, exciting.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Bring that bad Yeah, bring back the glamour.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: Yeah, bring back the people would dress up to go
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: to the airport, you know, and like it would be
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: a whole event and kind of like I don't know,
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: like going out on a Saturday night and you know,
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: smoking cigars and stuff.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: It's not worse than a bus.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Oh, it's worse than It's way worse than a bus
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: and scarier. Yeah, And I still just don't really understand
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: why we have the farce of TSA and all that stuff.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Oh that's also and I'm sorry, but the liquids, the
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: three ounces. I'm like, I'm we've got a.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: So crazy in a country that allows like gun violence.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: You know what I mean. You cannot take your shampoo.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: You cannot take four ounces of albaline makeup remover, but
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: you can buy a gun today. Yeah, anyway, four guns
- 1:03:36Speaker 3: today actually, Like it's so fucking crazy.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: And they won't even as far as I know, let
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: you bring on like a larger bottle that has less
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: than three ounces. If it's a larger bottle and still
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: has liquid in it, that doesn't matter. They'll like you
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: throw it away in the UK.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: Like traveling within England, they're so fucking strict in Australia
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: to it's just so flop flops.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: And if you're I'm part of the pre check thing,
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I bother, let me take my things through.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: I'm a trusted traveler, very global entry. But I should
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: be able to walk in with the machine exactly. I
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: should be able to walk in with just strap with
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: the water bottles, guns in my like guns in a holster,
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: knives like flamethrower. Come on, wait, let me ask you
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: have if you could have Oh, I have two questions.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: If you could become fluent in a language by chopping
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: off one of your fingers. Oh, which would you and which.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: Finger or which language?
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: Both?
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Okay? I would probably do Uh. I would probably do
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: my one of my ring fingers. I feel like that's
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: probably the least necessary and I'm trying to think either
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: practical or interesting, and I would probably go. I would
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: probably pick Japanese, okay, because it's not as practical, it's
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: not as useful as many places, but I think.
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: It's an interesting, very handy in Japan.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Yes, go to Japan almost nowhere else? What about you?
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: I would probably, I mean I would want to give
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: like a whole hand up I do. I would do
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: both ring fingers that do Mandarin, and then I would
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: do Arabic.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Oh, both probably difficult languages to learn exactly finish impossible,
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: And then I would even though I know like I'm
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: like beginner intermediate in Russian, I just want to be
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: absolutely fluent in Russian. There's still a lot of places
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: I speak person and then we do where pasta is
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: like some Middle Eastern language, and then I think that's it.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: I would get fingers. I would have I would have
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: like you'd be able to like open drawers, yeah, pitch
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: people I'd have my.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: Like latex penguin gloves.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: I can't believe they don't have in the Penguin TV show.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: They should have done the finger thing at the very least.
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: Okay, so what in the hell is it? Okay?
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Everything about your reaction right now is summing up how.
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: I By the way, wait, I just have to say,
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: I love press teach television. It keeps my blood red.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: I love I yearn and live for a Sunday night
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: musty TV moment, of course, And now I don't know
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: that doesn't exist anymore. Really, No, but these with these
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: well produced, well written, big budget mega watts star awesome
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: musty TV moments series, fucking love that ship. Love that ship.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: But the Penguin for me is not that it's where
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: it's real. It wants to be grounded in reality. There's
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: no supernatural elements whatsoever.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: There's a possibility for that. The guy is called the
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Penguin based on a character that usually has like a
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: penguin assistant or something.
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: Right, is he just he has a limp? That's why
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: they call me kind of.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: Ugly and has a limp. He doesn't.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: Just love the cold, Yeah, I like he's just like
- 1:06:47Speaker 3: a mob guy.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: Yeah, he's kind of like a bad tony soprano.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: And it's Colin Farrell, Like that man is so hot. Yeah,
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: she just cast an ugly actors. There's could have been
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: Oh my god, so many incredible ugly actors, like especially men,
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: tons like tons. But I just watched The Perfect Couple
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: on Netflix, which I call Shitty Little Lotus because it's
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: big Little Lives plus the White Lotus. But it doesn't
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: watch about six minutes. My god, Nicole's wig is just
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: so unwatched. It's just so it's so flagrant and horrible.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: And it's like it's it's a category of like wanting
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: to be campy that and that doesn't work for me.
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: It just never finds the right It's it's like it's
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: shitty Little Lotus.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: That's such a perfect Yeah.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: I think it is the perfect way to describe it.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: But I watched Shrinking.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Oh I haven't seen Shrinking.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: I adore it. Oh Harrison for Jason Siegel, and I
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: can't remember the other actors well.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: Former guests of the show. Michael Ury's in it.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I love he's fabulous. Yes, I met him a
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: few times. He is fabulous in it. Great writing and lovable,
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: funny characters, adult people saying adult words, having adult relationships
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: grounded in reality like their therapists, and Michael Hurry is
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: a lawyer and it it's just so. I love it
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: so much. Oh, I watched The Holes whatever you can watch,
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: I watched it all yesterday.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Well, what a recommendation.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I highly recommend it. Harrison Board is like this
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: older disgruntled therapist with Parkinson's, and Jason Siegel is like
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: a therapist too. It's just so, it's I love it. It's
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: just a breath of fresh air.
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Have you watched Disclaimer?
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: That came on automatically after I've finished shrinking. I don't
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: know if I'm on board.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: I'm trying to figure out if I like it or not.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: It reminds me. The thing I like is it reminds
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: me a bit of like those like late nineties, early
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: thousands thrillers for adults.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: Well, like Disclosure, Yes, Exclaim, that's what I think of,
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: Like indecent proposal.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it's very much in that tone.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: I want it. I love that genre a movie where
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: it's like those are movies.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: For adults, yes, strictly for like teenagers are gonna think
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: this is adult.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like and sometimes they really fly off the
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: like I would say Basic Instinct is one of those
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: completely Oh my god. Really Paul Verhoven is like that
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: motherfucker is crazy. Have you seen Benedetta?
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: No, I haven't even heard of this.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Oh, it's I think it's his most recent film. It's
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: a French movie, takes place in like the movie like
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: sixteenth century in a convent, a lesbian noun thriller. Oh,
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: stigmata like lesbian stigmata. None. And the lead of Virginie
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: Fira is like this hot blonde actress And there's a
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: moment where when she's a little girl, a statue of
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: the Virgin Mary falls on her and she licks the tip.
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: It's great. It's a great I highly recommend it.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: Oh and Love Lies Bleeding? Have you seen that?
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: Wait? Oh? I loved it.
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: Oh.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: I couldn't call it to mind because the title doesn't
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: quite match what the movie is, right.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: I thought of it because she did her first movie
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: Glass with Saint Maude, which, oh, that's fucking cool. Crisp
- 1:10:05Speaker 3: eighty nine minutes.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: And Love Life Is Bleeding is kind of in that
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: same category.
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: What about Ed Harrison that, oh, he's so chomping and
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: chomping it up, so that motherfucker is so grizzled and
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: to such glorious effect.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Such a character character, and the movie is just entertaining
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: from start to finish and has the ending is like,
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: I'm like, they earned this bizarre thing that's happening.
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's dirty, it's horny, it's nasty, it's kind
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: of it's weird, it's like outrageous. I loved it. Yes,
- 1:10:34Speaker 3: Christen Stewart is a raunchy dike.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: She's so good in this And who's the bodybuilding?
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: No, I'm not sure what her name is, just fabulous,
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: she's really good.
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: I feel like kat O'Brien, Katie O'Brien, good old Katie O'Brien,
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Kati O'Brien reach out. Yes, I wonder if this is
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: her first movie.
- 1:10:51Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: I'm interesting because I had never heard of her and
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: I was like, this person is fabulous, unbelievable.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: Wait, someone mentioned the other day like this, uh, the
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: trend of actors who are doing these Marvel movies or
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: action movies when they do go in the press junket
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: and they're talking about all the unseasoned chicken they had
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: to eat. Oh right, just say you did fucking steroids. Yes,
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: you did steroids. We all know you took steroids. Yes,
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: like you got anabolic steroids to create this body.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Because it's literally impossible otherwise.
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Because in nine months you can't go from a relatively
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: regular kind of fit human body to Arnold Schwartzene.
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: No, it's just it's impossible.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: But they're like, oh my god, eat so much broccoli
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: and spinach and chicken every two hours in my training.
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: I was like yeah, and then also stereod.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Yes, you were shooting out crazy. Also, why does the
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: chicken have to be unseasoned?
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: Throw some salt and PEPPERI or those saracha or whatever.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Calorie free like car free. You can have all sorts
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: of flavorful chicken.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: Even when they when they try to say, oh, I
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: had to blend it up and drink it, I.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: Was like, no, you know you did took it.
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: Put a needle in your ass, you fucking liar. God.
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: I hate that's it is this.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: I mean, it's the same thing with ozempic, where it's
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: like we all just know that this works, and like
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: you're kind of creating a problem for normal people. When
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: you're saying that you didn't cheat. Yeah, it's like just
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: say I wanted this and I cheated.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why I like Russia so much. They cheat
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: no matter what, Like yeah, liked sports like they will
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: find a way to cheat no matter what because it's
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: about winning. So it's like they're not playing by the
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: same rules because they're like, don't you is this about winning? Great,
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: so we're gonna win according to your rules, and it's
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: like it's so it's so cunty. I mean, they've got
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: band from the Olympics, but like it was like, do
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: you receive the documentary about the doping and no?
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: And I wanted to.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: I've heard it because they they had like separate labs.
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: I mean they really went the full like they really
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: really really scammed the Olympics.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: The need and want to win a sport, love it
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: good for glory, glory, and I should say that part
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: is cheating. I feel like with oseempic, it's not so
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: much cheating, it's just like this is a thing that
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: you can do it.
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I think honestly, this is not I don't think
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: this would. I think athletes to be able to do
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: whatever they want turn into monsters. It turn into absolute
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: like hideous monsters to get there.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: Yeah, like do whatever it takes, like I mean, take
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: all the steroids, like take every single drug, do whatever
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: it takes to win, and then that'd be so interesting.
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, to see this absolute monster riding a bicycle, or like.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: This beast in the water with like there's grown fins
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: or whatever it is, Like this letter.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: Rimp, let's see things we haven't seen before. We've we've
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: watched normal people win.
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: Yeah, there's no real level playing field. It's all political.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: It's all people.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, go for it. Become an absolute thing from another
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: realm and win the goal. I'm behind you. Yeah, I
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: love that shit. Well, is there anything left we need
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: to say about tampons?
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: Uh, I'm not really sure. I've never used by myself,
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: but I know that many women in my life swear
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: by them.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: What an unbelievably practical it's It is the sort of
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: thing where it's like two people who cannot speak to
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: it that much, but it's such a practical thing that
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: now it's just a great gift.
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: Yes, something to have in the house. Yes, like band aids, Yes,
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: band aids, Adville, Adville. I thank you. Also, I was
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: going to bring something that was like quirky and weird,
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: but I was like, I don't want to bring a
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: dagger so many of them. I didn't want to bring
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: in the lizard because so bulky, and you would have
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: broken the tail. And then I was like, would you want.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: That's an assumption that I would have broken the nose.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: It's very fragile and the very careful. And then the
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: last thing was a candle snuffer, which I thought was like,
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: too weird. And if you bring me a candle snuffer,
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: you should bring me old fashioned pajamas and the hat.
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Yeah, totally, and a candle.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, a candle lot for the whole scrooge. Look, but no,
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: this can just go beneath the bathroom cabinet. And now
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: of them to forty five. This could last me who
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: knows a long time, a long time, or if I
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: have tons of women that need them.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: Yeah, for the women to retreat your host, yes, next week?
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: Can well?
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: Oh wait, I do have something to promote.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: Oh, but this is the exact time because we're about
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: to play a game.
- 1:15:09Speaker 3: Okay, let's do it.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: And I need a number between one and ten from you.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: Seven.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: Okay, I have to do some light calculating to get
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: our game pieces. So right now you have the mic,
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: you can recommend, promote, do whatever you want.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: Right Okay, So I and meet a Trixy mattel in myself.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: We will be going on the road doing live podcasts,
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: and you should come because some of the cities are
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: not selling very well right now. And you can get
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: the information to where those places are at Trixy and
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: katchilive dot com. And then also be nice to each
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: other and pick up your garbage, don't litter, give a hoot,
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: and yeah, don't worry about drinking so much water.
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: A bunch of dehydrated people keeping the streets clean. I
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: feel like we kind of fell off with the litter message.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: I would honestly sometimes I feel that I would sooner
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: forgive murder then throwing McDonald's back out the window onto
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: the street.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Serious, what a wild thing for a human to do,
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: to just be like not mine.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: You know, my friend who used to driving to school
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: in high school did it all the time.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: That would just never even occur.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: The whole bag too, like if we got all like
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: like you know, like true literary orders, like a bag
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: like it's this much bigger than this just out the
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: window onto the middle of the suburban street. I was like,
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: you're such a fucking asshole.
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: But there was that through the I feel like the
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: eighties and nineties there were such a strong like do
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: not litter, don't be a litter bug. I think climate
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: change kind of overtook that messaging, but we should still
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: be telling people don't throw shit out your window. No.
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm like, you know, recycled world, it all
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: goes to trash island. It's it's like scam. But I mean,
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: but don't. Yeah, like you have the choice to, Like,
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: I mean, I will keep something in my car or
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: like on my person, rather.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: I'm not gonna throw it on the No, I would
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: feel guilty for weeks.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Although you know what, the absolute hypocrisy of me is
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: that sometimes I throw my cigarette butts on the ground.
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: Okay, and that fun is weirdly accepted. I don't know
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: why we've decided that.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: I don't know why we've also described decided that they're free.
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: Like do you have a stigrette? It's like this a dollar,
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: you know? Do you have a pizza? Pizza? Like we
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: don't say that barters.
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Okay, Well, this is how we play the game. It's
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: called we're playing Gift a Curse. And I should mention
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: that we now this is a big announcement. We have
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: a home version of Gifter a Curse. It's a card game.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: It is incredible. It's the same beautiful tension and excitement
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: that you hear on this podcast. And now you can
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: take it home and you can hurt feelings and you
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: can cause family rifts. We're headed into the holidays and
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: you can become kind of the person in control of
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: the game. And everybody's going to be giving their opinions
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: via card. It's delightful. You've got to go to exactly
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: rightstore dot com uh to get it. That's where you
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: get the merch. You know, the most beautiful sweatshirt I've
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: ever seen. And now this card game that is it's
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: going to ruin the holidays for everyone. And I can
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: guarantee that you've got to get a copy today. Is
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: there anything else I need to see? Say? No, there's
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: You can also just google I said no Gifts Merch.
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: If that's more your speed, do whatever you need to do.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Here's how we play the game. I'm gonna name three
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: things you're going to tell me if they are a
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: gift or a curse and why, and then I'll tell
- 1:18:23Speaker 2: you if you're right or wrong, because there are correct answers,
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: and there's a strong chance you'll walk away a huge loser. Okay,
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: you walked in a loser, You walk out a loser,
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: born a loser. Okay. This first one is from a
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: listener named Ann a gift or a curse being part
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: of a family in which all of the members' names
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: start with the same letter except for your name. And
- 1:18:46Speaker 2: she gives an example Kim Kelby, Kinsley, Kiren, and Joel.
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: Oh those names.
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: That's crazy. That's a curse. That's a gift.
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: Oh that's a gift. Why?
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: No, it's a curse. Why because what are the what
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: are your parents proclaiming about you? Or what are they
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: trying to curse you with or like annoint you with?
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: That's you know, I don't like that. I mean, I
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: have a friend who comes from a Mormon family. I
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: think eight siblings all.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: Come from a Mormon family named A And that's what
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: I was gonna say. This is very Mormon, where Like
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: I knew a lot of Mormon families growing.
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: Up, j one with one outlier, though.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: With no outliers.
- 1:19:22Speaker 3: It was always like it's fucking crazy.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: There was like a ten family, ten sibling family, all j's.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: But you're saying, you're saying curse.
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: I'm I think it's a curse. I think it's a
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: curse growing up, and then it would be a gift
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: as in adulthood, Okay, it would transition, but curse overall. Yeah,
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: it's a it's a it's an insult. Honestly, I think
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: it's like the scarlet letter in a way, you know.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Caught you wrong. It's a gift. Why your mommy and
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: Daddy's angel.
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: You're the special one, you know, like those other fucking ugly.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: These losers are dud give them a kay name or
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: let's try.
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: We were hoping for a Brenda, but all we got
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: were katies, you know, like.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, and then you come along and suddenly you're
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: the prince or princess and the rest of your life
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: is set. No.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: I really think it depends on what the what order
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: it is you're born at.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: The spotlight is on that moment you're coming out of
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: mommy and your brand, I mean it.
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: Was, you know the course. The country. Thing I'm thinking
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: about is Caitlin Kayln with a sea.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Oh, with a sea. That's right, that's it was. That
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: was a full statement, but with a parent naming. It's
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: I mean, it's another type of statement, and it's here's
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: the star. Get rid of the rest of these kids,
- 1:20:30Speaker 2: put them up for adoption and just keep this one.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: Yeah, but throw them out in the street, take them
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: to trash island.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: Okay, so zero out of zero so far. Number two.
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: This is from someone named Stephen Giftter a curse saying
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: bio break instead of bathroom break when taking a break
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: during a meeting.
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: Bio is in biology biological No, no, no, because the
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: first thing I thought it was like I have to
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: leave the room to update my bio and that's not no. No,
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: although way, I mean, obviously we've flopped on bathrooms in
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: this society, Like there should be no journals, there should
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: just be single stall. Yeah, windows in every completely all
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: gender whatever. Yeah, I've never heard of that. That's the thing.
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: Bio break, bio break. It's a curse. You're right, it's
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: complete crazy.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: I mean, I people love the idea of somebody like
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: stepping out to the bio.
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: No, it would be like like Sue stepping out to
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: do the activator, that's what it would be.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something about there's like a very like substance,
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: like there's a wetness to it. That bathroom doesn't bring everyone.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: If you're saying I've got to take a bio break
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: to the rest of your coworkers, you are a problem
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: at the office.
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: Yes you are. You are not getting invited to drinks afterwork,
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: it's for sure bio break.
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: If that's a new trend among office workers. I don't
- 1:21:53Speaker 2: know what to say to anybody. What's the what's the
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: logic behind that? Or just say I have to leave
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: the room.
- 1:21:59Speaker 3: What about ryo break?
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: I have to go freeze yourself seconds? Okay? Well, okay,
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: so you've gotten one right so far, very okay. And finally,
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: this is a we don't know who this came from,
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: so rest in peace, gift to a curse. When your
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: dog hates one of your friends but loves everyone else,
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: this is kind of thematically tied to the first and weirdly.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: That's you know, I don't know because I I I'm
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: gonna get I'm not I'm gonna get a lot of
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: hate for this, But I don't hate animals. Of course,
- 1:22:35Speaker 3: but I don't love them.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: No animal has love from you.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: Uh no, no, no. I mean like I could say, oh
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: my god, that dog is so cute, or that cat
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: is really interesting, or that owl is so wonderful, but like,
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: I don't have pets. I'm never gonna have pets.
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: They're not for you.
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: No, they're not for me. And so like other people's pets,
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: it's like other people's children. I don't want to touch them.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: I don't want to talk to them. I don't want
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: them to touch me or talk to me. That's how
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: I feel about that. So I don't I forget what the.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: Question when your dog hates one of your to be me,
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: that's gonna be me. I felt like it was.
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: And also like I've been I've been at many times
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: in the situation of go to this person's house for
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: the first time and they forget to mention, Oh, by
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: the way, I have six Rottweilers that will that will
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: charge you as the doorbell rings, Like you need to
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: like tell me that, because that is fucking scary. Like
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: pit bulls, I feel like, don't worry, they're friendly. They're
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: scratching my eyes out and jumping all over me.
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: Like people as a dog lover, I.
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: Hate dogs, but you know what I mean, I think
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: some people.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: Are very cavalier about how their dogs behave. It's like
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: you have got to be very conscious of that. Not
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: everyone is comfortable with animals.
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: And also they bark loudly sometimes all night. Like I
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: was at this house where like two enormous fucking dogs,
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: uncontrollable mm hmm, super aggressive, very physical, and then they
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: wouldn't shut the fuck up. I was like, you know this,
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: this is a bad hosting trait. It's like you're not
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: good at that anyways.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: So you're saying, curse, it's a gift, or it could.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: Be like it's a it's a gift to sess out evil.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Well, this is what I'm this is why it's a gift.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: You're you're not getting the point too late? You I mean,
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: did not not saved by.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: The bell it to identify you?
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: Yeah? What the dog knows something. They know something about
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: this person, whether they're possessed, whether they will betray you.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: I believe it.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: They can smell the future betrayal. They can smell the
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: breast pump, they can smell and they can hear the
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: wind chime. They can hear the wind chime, ohring house
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: for you.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Dogs have the spirit of Julianne Moore. Yes, and they
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: know a bad egg when they see it. And when
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: one dog is barking or harassing just one friend, it's
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: because that person's bad news.
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: Yeah, bad news. They're trying to steal your baby, fuck
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: your husband, and kill your best friend.
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: It's time to hire a private investigator and have them
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: track this person. We got one out of three, so.
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: That's basically totally great.
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: That's one hundred percent as far as I know.
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: Wait, did you take the SATs?
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: I took the acts.
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: Oh what did you get?
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: I got a twenty nine.
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you're smart, you're smarty.
- 1:25:21Speaker 2: No, I feel like smart as thirty or above.
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: Oh I thought it went up to thirty, only.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: It goes up to I think thirty four.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Oh god, you're a dumb ass.
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: That's a complete dumb That's amazing, right, No, it's not good.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: I think it's like, oh, well he can read and
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: is okay okay, But I mean I guess if you
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: got a four that would also be a problem. So
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: I guess twenty nine is twenty five points more than
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: four five. So I'm demonstrating my math skills. You took
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: the SAT Yeah, and what did you get?
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: I will not tell you lie. Yeah, I mean I
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: have friends who've got sixteen hundred's Is that top? That's perfect?
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: Okay, incredible? Yeah, but where are they now? Four hours?
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not on this podcast, certainly not in Holly
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: would They're taking bio breaks at their shitty office jobs.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's firce though.
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: I mean I feel like standardized tessing we're kind of
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: finding out is not good, right, yeah, I mean not.
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: An indicator of like potential success or whatever. It's even.
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: But did you take AP courses?
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: I did take AP courses Political science, history, English? I
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: think those probably those? What are the other ones are?
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: I mean there's biology, there's I think I took. I
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: think it's really tough.
- 1:26:37Speaker 2: I can handle biology. Chemistry and physics are hard for me.
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: I never took chemistry physics. What did you get on
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: this test?
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: I think all of those I barely got like threes,
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: you know, which is like a barely passing right except
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: on English and decent in English. Five I think is
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: not a five. I've probably got a four. Yeah, there's
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: no perfection in my life not.
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: Hard to believe.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: Did you take AP force I took.
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I took AP French Language and AP French literature.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that's really classy.
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: Oh it was extremely classy when I was because I
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: skipped I skipped a grade, so I was the only
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: one in French literature. Told myself, you know, I got
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: a find on that. I like peaked in high school
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: with languages anyways.
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: And then ran right into a brick wall with the SAT.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: Oh like middle of the pack, just like like horribly average,
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: embarrassingly like like just just below average to feel like
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: like shit, you.
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: Know, yeah, that's how I feel with the twenty nine
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: on the act. I'm just like, well, oh, it's exhausting.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: I woke up at the time of the beginning of
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: the test. I remember it was started at eight am,
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: and I woke if what was happening? My parents are
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: decent parents. Why were they not put They should have been.
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: Putting the pressure they like, they didn't let you take
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: the p SAT or is there like a.
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: Pro there probably is. I felt kind of free Rome.
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: As far as education goes well.
- 1:27:57Speaker 3: Very quickly. I had trouble in high schoo well, for
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: when I was a sophomore, I was like a moody kid,
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: and I so I'd looked at other places, alternative schools
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: to go to. When I did a visiting week at
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: this place called Sudbury Valley, which is no longer accredited,
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: but at the time it had a smoking room. Oh
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: and for the whole week I smoked cigarettes indoors at
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: this high school that had no actual courses, but teachers
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: on campus who were available for instruction if you sought
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: them out. Why is that crazy?
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: Did you ever ask a teacher for a cigarette?
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: No? No, I brought my own and literally just walked
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: around smoked a pack of cigarettes a day at sixteen.
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: I'm that fucking crazy. This was in nineteen ninety eight.
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: That's like letting the Muppet babies smoke.
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: It's like it's like swinging dancing on the airplane.
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: Have don draper.
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but they lost their accreditation obviously. Yeah.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: Anyways, Okay, well it's time to answer a listener question.
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: This is called I said no emails. People write into
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: I said no gifts at gmail dot com begging for help.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: Will you help me answer a question?
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: I will.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: Okay, let's see here, I have it. Oh my god,
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: you have an anisot of water. Okay, this says dear
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: Bridger on alease and disrespectful guests, I have failed miserably.
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: I'll be the judge of that. Last year, two long
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: distance friends got married to each other. In the chaos
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: of packing and preparing for the eight hour drive to
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: their hometown, I forgot their card. The card was to
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: be the vessel for a monetary gift. I did not
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: have time to get another card before the wedding, and
- 1:29:26Speaker 2: with all the festivities in traveling home the next day,
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: I forgot to go on their online registry and get
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: a gift from there. My memory continued to fail me.
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: As it is now a year later, as we are
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: approaching their one year anniversary, and I never got them
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: a gift. Neither friend has mentioned anything about not receiving
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: a gift from me, but my own personal guilt is
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: getting to me. Should I send the card and gifts
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: now or is it too late? Well, sending a gift
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: now reveal my true failings as a friend. Our one
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: year anniversary gifts from a friend's a thing? What should
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: I do? Thank you for your help? And that's oh.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: They didn't even leave their name sincerely a bad and
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: forgetful friend. They're very you.
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: Go bad and forgetful friend? Is they're real? That's that's yes,
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: you're a bad friend. You're a bad friend.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: Do you know what I think they are? I think
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: they are.
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: They're literally just saying I forgot these people are not
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: important enough for me to prioritize this very simple activity
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: multiple could have done in under ten minutes, even from
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: the car. You just go on the computer and type
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: a little bit, and then you.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Have how are you not remembering it? You're at the wedding,
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: You're leaving the web.
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: Like there is time to stop. You don't have to
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: be punctual for the wedding. You stop at the CVS
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: to get a fucking card.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: Yeah, no one's thinking about card. No peo will appreciate
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: a bad card.
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: Absolutely, you get you get ironic car, you get like
- 1:30:37Speaker 3: a happy birthday grandfather card, and you just move right.
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: And also, but if they have turned over a new
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: leaf and they've suddenly like decided to shed their asshliness,
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: then yeah, just get them something. Absolutely, it's ever too
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: late or too weird or too you know.
- 1:30:51Speaker 2: People always like to get a gift.
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: Yes, absolutely, just say be like, hey, I've really grown
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: and changed over the years. Sorry, or a fake a
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: drug problem or something.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, ye there no question. Yeah, nobody there like okay,
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: you've got an.
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: Excuse, yeah, bulletproof alibi.
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: I mean, I feel like the other the subtext here
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: is that they are mad that the people haven't even noticed.
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: They feel forgotten. These friends don't even care about them.
- 1:31:14Speaker 3: I wouldn't be so sure about that, because I'm sure
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: that you are a topic of discussion at the brunch
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: that you're not invited to, you know what I mean.
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: They're constantly talking about, like the fact that if.
- 1:31:24Speaker 3: We were in Lindsay didn't give me a fucking birthday
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: and she didn't give me a fucking wedding present or whatever.
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: Clock is ticking. Well, I feel like they either have
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: been completely forgotten or they have an opportunity at any
- 1:31:36Speaker 2: time to send a gift.
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: Absolutely, and this is a long distance friend, yes, yes,
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: so this is like do you do destination weddings?
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: I feel like it's a cruel thing to do to
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: your friends and family unless you are paying for them
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: to do it. You are forcing people to go on
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: a vacation that they didn't want to do.
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: And have to pay for it.
- 1:31:54Speaker 2: Yes, they probably had another vacation in mind. Why aren't
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: we talking about this more often? It's a psycho move
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: to be like, Okay, now you have to go to
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: some boring island somewhere that you were like that was
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: never even on your list, and now your vacation fund
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: is gone.
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: What a cruel, cruel thing you can do. Yeah, I
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: don't really support. I mean I can. I can say, like,
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: if a friend lives in a different state, of course
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: I may, if you're close enough, I'll come to you.
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: But Destination Wild, you better be paying the bill. And
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: I don't have enough rich friends to.
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: Be for that to Yeah, I don't know anybody who's
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: I know, I've.
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: Got to find somebody that'll pay for me to come
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: to their wedding. Warren Buffett Elon Musk is single. Oh god,
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: can you imagine that wedding that the person that would
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: choose to marry that person at this point?
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Oh my god.
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: What a d wee Just the ultimate dork.
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: I mean, what a fucking t weeve and a dork.
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: I hate I miss Twitter.
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: He've completely ruined it.
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I love I loved Twitter.
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: It was very fun for a period.
- 1:32:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and then it's like you, oh, there's a funny
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: post by this funny person that I make but haven't met,
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: and then I scroll down and then there's an advert vacuum,
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: and then there's like a something else and it's just
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: like all chaos. I hate it.
- 1:33:02Speaker 2: It's so so awful. Yeah, and it is interesting to
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: me about him and this sort of person where it's like, oh,
- 1:33:07Speaker 2: you're just trapped as Elon Musk for the rest of
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: your life, no amount of money, You'll always have to
- 1:33:12Speaker 2: be that person, which is that's the one bit of
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: solace I get from that.
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, you'll always be You're a flop, and
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: you'll always be a flop.
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: Just be such a nerd.
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: At least he kept the porn though on Twitter.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: Oh he did.
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: I appreciate that. I appreciate the lack of censorship.
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: He did kind of remove censorship, right, because you can
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: be kind of a full Nazi.
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: Oh, it can be absolutely yeah, full the full bloom
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: of ignorance is on display there unchecked.
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: Well, forgetful and bad friend. That's what you are. That's
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: what you will always be.
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: No, you can change to try. You can change.
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: Katia has hope for you. Yeah, and I'm okay. I'm
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: riding the fence. I don't know what to say. Don't
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: write back in. I've had such a wonderful time and
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: now I have a practical gift that makes me look
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: like a better person.
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: Yes, it does, and it makes you. What it does
- 1:34:03Speaker 3: is it makes you look like a less selfish person.
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, I've thought about others. This is people will think,
- 1:34:08Speaker 2: at least once Bridger thought about someone outside about women.
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: Women's stories matter. They just matter.
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: I'm really going to own this and I'm thrilled about it,
- 1:34:19Speaker 2: and I'm so happy you were here today.
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: Thank you so much. Is my check and is a
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: cash or? Do I just wait for a check?
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: You'll wait for the check in the mail? And we
- 1:34:26Speaker 2: don't you know the postal system. It's all over. It's
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: hard to find a public mail box at this point.
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: Did you do if I didn't leave the studio until
- 1:34:33Speaker 3: I demanded payment of some kind payment that was not promised.
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: I just take that light with me. No, thank you
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: for having me. Can go to tricksy and contolive dot
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: com and please buy tickets because we'll be humiliated in Baltimore.

- 1:34:56Speaker 2: very difficult time selling tickets right now, are they.

- 1:35:02Speaker 2: need to, you know, say oh, I will come see you.
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: Yeah, there's nothing like getting out of the house going
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: to it. You know, COVID and now that COVID was
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: deemed a hoax and we.
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: Know that it was essentially a hologram.
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: Thank you. And there's no danger at all anywhere with anybody.
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: Like go, there's no disease anywhere.
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: No, go go to the theater, meet a friend.
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: You know, it's take hands with someone who just said
- 1:35:25Speaker 2: that they refused to wash their hands.
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: Exact likely to chase the person out who just pissed
- 1:35:29Speaker 3: in the urinal, didn't flash and left without washing their hands.
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: Marry that man.
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: And did clean the toys.

- 1:36:35Speaker 1: you gotta come to me empty. And I said, no guests,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: your presences, presents, and I already had too much stuff,
