Shooting at Ohio Memorial Service | Dayton News
A shocking shooting erupted just before 6 PM at the Cincinnati Elks Lodge No. 5 in Cheviot, Ohio, during a memorial service, leaving one dead and two injured. Lodge President Jeff Hawkins, who noted the lodge had donated the space to help a grieving family, called the violence “horrible” and unprecedented in his time with the charitable organization. An Elks member on scene rushed women and children to safety as gunfire echoed and bodies lay on the ground.
