- 0:41Speaker 4: didn't really add much to be honest.
- 0:43Speaker 1: Oh, Mogi was saying, it was like the guys are
- 0:46Speaker 1: coming out of your snarls that you had light boogers

- 1:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09Speaker 3: Nice, nice sad day for me.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Actually what happened And one of my other girls now
- 1:16Speaker 1: is off to Australia tonight, go and live.
- 1:19Speaker 3: So three of my girls.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Now are over and living over in the old olds ship.
- 1:23Speaker 3: The bed Yeah man, so you got one. I don't
- 1:25Speaker 3: know about that. I thought one was wigging in film.
- 1:27Speaker 3: What happened?
- 1:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the one she's going. She's going tonight.
- 1:31Speaker 3: But when that decision about.
- 1:34Speaker 1: A month or two ago, same thing, hopefully. But she's
- 1:39Speaker 1: going to work in hospital to start off with you.
- 1:41Speaker 1: She said, the jobs over there actually really easy to get.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Somebody said to me, hope wishing one hand and ship
- 1:47Speaker 2: in the other, and see which one fills up first.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I'm not sure I get that.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I don't get it either. What's that got to do
- 1:54Speaker 4: with this?
- 1:54Speaker 3: Is she shitting well?
- 1:55Speaker 2: She said she's hoping to get a job in the
- 1:58Speaker 2: same industry. Yeah, hope in one hand and ship in
- 2:02Speaker 2: the other.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I don't She'll be okay, that sort of person.
- 2:06Speaker 4: She wouldn't just hope, she'd try and work towards it
- 2:08Speaker 4: actually happenings.
- 2:10Speaker 3: She's a machine when it comes to getting work.
- 2:12Speaker 1: She does it machine because she's done lots lots of
- 2:16Speaker 1: cafe and hospital and all that sort of ship as well.
- 2:20Speaker 3: There's thousands of hospital jobs over there. It's a lot
- 2:22Speaker 3: of hospital work over there.
- 2:23Speaker 1: If she wants it, and she's also got good context.
- 2:26Speaker 1: He's got some big context.
- 2:32Speaker 4: It's going to be a great Jayson, you got nothing
- 2:34Speaker 4: to worry about.
- 2:36Speaker 1: My life is just one big one, one big worry,
- 2:39Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Yeah, it's only Melbourne, it's not.
- 2:42Speaker 4: But also she's going and one of your other daughters
- 2:45Speaker 4: is in Melbourne.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Right, No, she's going. No, one's in Sydney and ones
- 2:49Speaker 1: in Hobart.
- 2:50Speaker 4: But one is relocating to Melbourne at the end of
- 2:53Speaker 4: the year, that's right, So, which is a few months.
- 2:55Speaker 4: So you purposely made that difficult, did I At least
- 2:58Speaker 4: there's two of them to get.
- 2:59Speaker 3: What are you about having kids, Jason? Worth it or not? Really?
- 3:03Speaker 4: Genuinely, this is a great question for me in the
- 3:05Speaker 4: stage of life because you get all the joy of
- 3:07Speaker 4: them when they're little kids, when they're puppies and all
- 3:09Speaker 4: of that, and that's and that's a lot of work, yes,
- 3:12Speaker 4: but like at the moment, it's I'm you know, it's
- 3:15Speaker 4: I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
- 3:16Speaker 3: It's great.
- 3:17Speaker 4: God, let you think she's a great kid. I see
- 3:19Speaker 4: you and Moogie Jr. And I'm like, that'd be so
- 3:20Speaker 4: much fun.
- 3:21Speaker 3: It's so good.
- 3:22Speaker 2: But it's something she's going to continue to grow up
- 3:25Speaker 2: and my streous levels are just going to continue to increase.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Sure, as.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Oursholes coming to her life. Sure, and I'll have control
- 3:37Speaker 2: over those aurselves to a degree up until she leaves home.
- 3:39Speaker 2: And then after that, you know, it's out of my hands.
- 3:43Speaker 2: And also not only out of my hands, she probably
- 3:45Speaker 2: won't want to hear anything I've got to say about it.
- 3:47Speaker 2: There's a potential for that, and so I don't know
- 3:49Speaker 2: how much I'm going to enjoy that whole period of
- 3:53Speaker 2: my life.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it's tough. Kids are awesome, keeezy.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I wish The only thing I wish looking back is
- 4:03Speaker 1: that I had more money when they were little, because
- 4:05Speaker 1: we so much of it was a financial struggle.
- 4:09Speaker 2: However, But however, in order to get the money, you've
- 4:13Speaker 2: got to do the work. So your trade off was
- 4:15Speaker 2: that you did it young. Yes, you did it young,
- 4:18Speaker 2: which is a great thing to be able to do.
- 4:20Speaker 2: And because you were so unemployable, you got to spend.
- 4:24Speaker 3: A lot of time with them.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I did, And as a result of that, your relationship
- 4:27Speaker 2: with all of your girls is really good.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Well, yeah, isn't it? Though, I mean I mean by.
- 4:32Speaker 1: And large, by large, yeah, I mean, like any like
- 4:35Speaker 1: any family, you have your moments, you know, especially with teenagers,
- 4:39Speaker 1: and oh stuff like that where they're finding their own
- 4:42Speaker 1: feet and that.
- 4:43Speaker 2: But that's the thing I think once they get into
- 4:44Speaker 2: their twenties and all that sort of stuff equals out,
- 4:47Speaker 2: then that's when you find out the job that you
- 4:49Speaker 2: did as parents. You know, so you talk it's like,
- 4:52Speaker 2: you know, your kids are a piece of shit at home,
- 4:54Speaker 2: and then parents and teachers like it's so polite, lovely kid.
- 4:58Speaker 2: You know, they're always going to treat you the worse,
- 5:00Speaker 2: of course, you know, and we got that all the time.
- 5:02Speaker 2: And you know, my three eldest you know, going great
- 5:05Speaker 2: guns and they're all very confident and whatever have you.
- 5:09Speaker 2: But it's still stressful because they're still only in their
- 5:13Speaker 2: twenties and you know what you were like in your twenties.
- 5:15Speaker 2: But when you put it through that kind of a
- 5:17Speaker 2: lens lens as I was a shocker and pieces of ship,
- 5:23Speaker 2: you know, when you think about the way.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, absolutely, you know. The only thing I have
- 5:30Speaker 3: now is.
- 5:32Speaker 1: The world's so fucked and I just feel like it's.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Getting more fun. But it also as will.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Yes, and it just you know, with all the social
- 5:42Speaker 1: media and ship, because we didn't have any of that
- 5:44Speaker 1: really when they were growing up. The little one now does. Yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 1: and I just think it's a bitch.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yeah, well our kid won't have it at all. Yeah,
- 5:51Speaker 2: you can have it when she leaves home. Sure she
- 5:54Speaker 2: won't have a phone or any of that. And I
- 5:55Speaker 2: think I think it's quite good. I think our timing
- 5:58Speaker 2: was good and your timing was good. Buy and large,
- 6:00Speaker 2: except your little one, because now everybody knows that it's
- 6:04Speaker 2: terrible for your kids.
- 6:05Speaker 3: So you can actually have some control.
- 6:06Speaker 2: So for me, it's well, we'll never ever people are like, oh,
- 6:09Speaker 2: you fucking how we fucked up by doing this, But
- 6:12Speaker 2: you know what the adverse reaction, what the adverse effects
- 6:15Speaker 2: are of social media and just phones in general, and
- 6:17Speaker 2: constantly being in contact with people, never having time to
- 6:20Speaker 2: have your own thoughts. Yes, and so I think very
- 6:23Speaker 2: soon it will be it will be government controlled. It's
- 6:27Speaker 2: it's like cigarettes and alcohol and all these things. It's like, okay,
- 6:30Speaker 2: there's a benefit. People can use them if they want,
- 6:32Speaker 2: but in the year controlled by the government.
- 6:35Speaker 4: The whole Big Show week days from four on Radio Hiarchy.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Big Show Podcast.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I tell you what you're in for. A horror of
- 6:45Speaker 1: a fight when it comes, you know, because it's taken
- 6:48Speaker 1: it off them when they've already had it as the
- 6:49Speaker 1: problem kids, you know, it's all their mates. Yeah, everyone
- 6:54Speaker 1: else fucking phone. Why can't I have a fucking phone?
- 6:57Speaker 1: All that sort of stuff, you know, And it's like, well.
- 7:00Speaker 4: I went through that when phones were first, it was
- 7:03Speaker 4: normal for teenagers to have phones. I were just texting phones.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I didn't have one. Of my mates all had one,
- 7:08Speaker 4: and then I was like, I have to have one.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I was going to be the biggest loser at school exactly.
- 7:12Speaker 3: But then you get one and you're still the biggest loser.
- 7:14Speaker 4: My serious chat to help yourself. But then like once
- 7:20Speaker 4: you get it, if you are a bit of a
- 7:22Speaker 4: like you know, if you if you don't get on
- 7:23Speaker 4: with certain people, they actually make things worse.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Of course they do.
- 7:26Speaker 4: So it's like it's a tough one.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Well, it's like Mogie was saying, there's no off button now.
- 7:32Speaker 2: But that's the thing. Though, you're driven. You're all driven
- 7:34Speaker 2: by the your only focus when you're that age, as
- 7:37Speaker 2: you're driven by your social groups. So could give a
- 7:40Speaker 2: fuck about what your parents say, and they can be
- 7:42Speaker 2: one thousand percent right on every single level and it
- 7:45Speaker 2: doesn't matter because my friends have got it and I
- 7:47Speaker 2: need it, then you get it, your life gets worse,
- 7:50Speaker 2: but it's too late.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Is there a strategy and obviously runs different.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Is there a strategy for.
- 7:57Speaker 4: Explaining the negative side of having a phone and social
- 8:02Speaker 4: media and what it can do so that they recognize
- 8:04Speaker 4: whether it's it is you know.
- 8:08Speaker 3: You can but serious, it's still coming from adults.
- 8:12Speaker 1: It's okay, exactly, okay, right way.
- 8:17Speaker 2: It's like, yeah that that lollies and ice cream are
- 8:23Speaker 2: bad for you. Yes, it's right, Yeah, okay, good luck?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Can I have an ice cream?
- 8:29Speaker 4: Also the sense what's bad?
- 8:31Speaker 2: As I completely believe you. Yeah, it's bad for me.
- 8:33Speaker 2: It's delicious. Give me one.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That's exactly it.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Little you know, they're a little bit edicts as well. Yeah,
- 8:42Speaker 2: and especially being our kids, Like for me, I can
- 8:45Speaker 2: see she's got my traps.
- 8:46Speaker 3: So yeah, good.
- 8:48Speaker 4: Well, I mean I when I got home from school
- 8:50Speaker 4: every afternoon, my parents didn't know what it was. But
- 8:53Speaker 4: I was on im in chat, which is like chat
- 8:56Speaker 4: room with all my mates and stuff, and I was
- 8:58Speaker 4: on my Space and all these things like that. Then
- 9:00Speaker 4: my parents had no idea I was. I look at
- 9:01Speaker 4: my MySpace. Oh cool, They got no idea what it is, right,
- 9:03Speaker 4: they don't give a ship. But then I like my
- 9:05Speaker 4: mates and I were getting catfish by like old dudes
- 9:07Speaker 4: pretending to be young Sheila's.
- 9:08Speaker 3: And all sorts of ships. Yeah, it's a fucking shocker.
- 9:12Speaker 4: And that was back in the day when it was
- 9:13Speaker 4: like limited you can go on the computer until week
- 9:16Speaker 4: dinner and then you're off, yeah, sort of thing. But
- 9:19Speaker 4: then now it's just if you've got a phone, it's
- 9:20Speaker 4: whenever you want.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a Yeah, it's gnarly. Hey, ma hey baby,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you're a single man, now, I am. How's that game
- 9:30Speaker 1: for you?
- 9:31Speaker 3: By the way, it's still good. Yeah, you're lovn't it's
- 9:32Speaker 3: still good. You're nice.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you walk around in your andes and stuff. Well,
- 9:38Speaker 1: as disgussed on yesterday's show, your wife's left. Well, no, no,
- 9:45Speaker 1: my immediate my immediate instinct is to get alcohol and yeah.
- 9:54Speaker 3: So mine is to watch born you next door get dressed.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Mine is to play PlayStation and eat junk food.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Right, isn't it funny?
- 10:05Speaker 2: Well, and it's funny, And isn't it funny that your
- 10:08Speaker 2: your first thing think, so I think this is mostly true,
- 10:11Speaker 2: is not to do anything positive.
- 10:12Speaker 4: No, it's I'm gonna make make the most true, man.
- 10:15Speaker 1: It was fucking so true.
- 10:16Speaker 2: All though I was saying, yes, today, I spent the
- 10:18Speaker 2: time cleaning the house, getting it into a good shit out.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, really good, but straight into that. Yeah, that's
- 10:27Speaker 2: my thing. So last night, and we talked about it
- 10:29Speaker 2: on the show yesterday. But the plan was, don't go
- 10:30Speaker 2: to the gym in the morning, because I go to
- 10:32Speaker 2: the gym in the morning that I'm going to finish
- 10:34Speaker 2: work and I'm going to on the way home that
- 10:36Speaker 2: little voice on my shirt is going to go, go
- 10:38Speaker 2: get some dats, go get some piss. So I went
- 10:41Speaker 2: to the gym last night instead, and then I don't
- 10:43Speaker 2: want to go and get the other stuff, right.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Yeah. So yeah.
- 10:47Speaker 4: One thing that I've noticed is I was I cleared
- 10:49Speaker 4: out my shid two weeks ago, did a fucking mean job.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I had all the stuff that we had to throw away.
- 10:54Speaker 4: My wife just comes out and goes, what's all that stuff.
- 10:56Speaker 4: I'm like, we're throwing it away, and she goes through
- 10:58Speaker 4: all of it and gets like eighty percent of it
- 11:00Speaker 4: back out and goes, now we need this, And.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Then I'm like, what for? Tell me what for?
- 11:04Speaker 4: It's just handy to have. We haven't used it in
- 11:06Speaker 4: five years, and then eventually she left and I took
- 11:09Speaker 4: it all to the dump and she said, what do
- 11:10Speaker 4: you do all that stuff? I said, it's gone, and
- 11:12Speaker 4: she said, yeah, okay.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, like she just exactly.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Whereas I don't just fucking get rid of it.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I have this weird thing. I'm very similar to you,
- 11:20Speaker 1: but I have this weird thing. I mean, I'm already
- 11:23Speaker 1: shocking on the eating front anyway.
- 11:25Speaker 4: You don't eat enough.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Shit I reach.
- 11:30Speaker 1: I basically just don't eat anything when my wife goes away,
- 11:34Speaker 1: Well I really don't. And I get to the end
- 11:36Speaker 1: of the day and I go, ah, fuck, I haven't
- 11:38Speaker 1: eaten anything. I haven't eaten anything today.
- 11:41Speaker 3: But and then I go and I can't be fucked.
- 11:44Speaker 2: But the only time that you know to eat is
- 11:46Speaker 2: when you've been in a her of a mood all day.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Your wife's walking out the door and she goes heads
- 11:49Speaker 2: to fucking eat. Yeah, eats something, But I do.
- 11:53Speaker 1: I do the keysy, I do the junk food, yeah, pizzas,
- 11:57Speaker 1: shit like that, And I make my own little toppings off.
- 12:00Speaker 3: I do the keyzy, do the keezy man.
- 12:03Speaker 4: There's nothing I like better than sitting on my coffee
- 12:05Speaker 4: table which folds up to dinner table table. It folds
- 12:08Speaker 4: up to dinner table height, and so I can sit
- 12:10Speaker 4: on my couch with it folded up like him at
- 12:13Speaker 4: the dinner table. I'll put some Rugby League on and
- 12:15Speaker 4: I'll eat an entire pizza, yes, and drink some beersies.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Well you see, I'll eat half a pizza.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Yeah right.
- 12:22Speaker 4: My young was so bad. Mike took us headphones off
- 12:24Speaker 4: and just said I'm out. Hey, listen to the Hudacky
- 12:28Speaker 4: Big Show.
- 12:29Speaker 3: You have a great weekend. Seven weekdays.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Have a great weekend.
